- 0:08SPEAKER_02: I love a pina colada.
- 0:10SPEAKER_02: I don't order it very often, but I'll tell you when I do.
- 0:13SPEAKER_02: Vacation.
- 0:14SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 0:14SPEAKER_02: Always vacation.
- 0:16SPEAKER_02: And you'll be on Seneca Lake, and randomly that pina colada machine just were your name.
- 0:22SPEAKER_02: Were spinning.
- 0:25SPEAKER_01: That spinning, I know what it is.
- 0:27SPEAKER_01: Gonna be me and about five of them.
- 0:32SPEAKER_02: You know, it's going round and round.
- 0:33SPEAKER_02: And you say, give me that coconut goodness.
- 0:36SPEAKER_02: Give me that creamy coconut goodness.
- 0:38SPEAKER_01: Listen to this guy had himself uh one too many pina coladas, ain't you?
- 0:42SPEAKER_01: If you like pina coladas, getting caught in the rain.
- 0:47SPEAKER_01: You can't not sing this damn song.
- 0:49SPEAKER_01: I know.
- 0:50SPEAKER_01: Even you and me! I'm like, oh my god!
- 0:53SPEAKER_02: If you have half a brain.
- 0:54SPEAKER_02: Oh, wait, here we go.
- 0:56SPEAKER_02: If you like making love at midnight, excuse me.
- 1:03SPEAKER_02: I'm the love that you look for.
- 1:06SPEAKER_01: Another one of these songs.
- 1:08SPEAKER_01: Just like the John Denver Take Me Home Country Roads.
- 1:11SPEAKER_01: Were we born out of the womb?
- 1:13SPEAKER_01: No.
- 1:13SPEAKER_01: Like just the the DNA, it like, you know, picked it up.
- 1:16SPEAKER_01: Yes, Twist and Shout.
- 1:17SPEAKER_02: That's another one.
- 1:18SPEAKER_02: I don't even know Twist and Shout.
- 1:20SPEAKER_02: You just chew.
- 1:20SPEAKER_00: Here you go, listen to this guy.
- 1:22SPEAKER_00: I will never drink a pina colada again.
- 1:25SPEAKER_00: I had probably six or seven pina coladas on the beach yesterday, okay?
- 1:30SPEAKER_00: Lost my family.
- 1:31SPEAKER_00: Didn't know who I was or what I stood for, okay?
- 1:35SPEAKER_00: I was literally out in the ocean acting like I was shamu.
- 1:38SPEAKER_00: It's not fine.
- 1:39SPEAKER_00: I will never be able to drink or eat anything coconut flavored as long as I live.
- 1:44SPEAKER_00: And if that wasn't enough, I proceeded to drink a whole lot of wine and got lost in my little neighborhood that I was staying in.
- 1:51SPEAKER_00: Couldn't find my way home for at least two hours, okay?
- 1:55SPEAKER_00: So needless to say, it all started with the pina coladas, and I will not be doing that ever again.
- 2:00SPEAKER_00: I will be staying away from the pina coladas.
- 2:02SPEAKER_00: I got so tina turned, I don't even know who I am.
- 2:05SPEAKER_00: Pina turned.
- 2:06SPEAKER_02: It's not the pina coladas.
- 2:07SPEAKER_02: Because the pina coladas, really, there's not there's never enough booze in that booze.
- 2:12SPEAKER_02: What the problem was He mixed?
- 2:14SPEAKER_02: Yes, you get into that wine.
- 2:16SPEAKER_02: Oh, and the wine will do it after me.
- 2:17SPEAKER_02: Yeah, no.
- 2:22SPEAKER_02: Oh my god.
- 2:23SPEAKER_03: The following is a public plea for sanity.
- 2:27SPEAKER_03: Every day, ordinary people are exposed to the Pinha Colada song.
- 2:32SPEAKER_03: But despite what you've been led to believe, there's no law requiring you to sing along.
- 2:39SPEAKER_03: So knock it off.
- 2:41SPEAKER_03: It's bad enough the song is playing in the first place.
- 2:45SPEAKER_03: We don't need your unsolicited director's commentary on top of it.
- 2:48SPEAKER_03: If it comes on at the grocery store, just shut your mouth and the song will expire on its own.
- 2:54SPEAKER_03: If it comes on at a wedding, resist the urge to open your yapper.
- 2:59SPEAKER_03: The song will eventually pass without your assistance.
- 3:03SPEAKER_03: If it comes on in your dentist's office, please, your mouth is already occupied for God's sake.
- 3:10SPEAKER_03: So, this National Pinha Colada Day.
- 3:13SPEAKER_03: Remember that together we can break the cycle.
- 3:17SPEAKER_03: We're asking you to make one good decision and just sit this one out.
- 3:22SPEAKER_03: Think before you sing.
- 3:24SPEAKER_03: Because the only thing worse than four minutes of the Pina Colada song is four minutes of the Pina Colada song featuring you.
- 3:33SPEAKER_03: So the next time you hear Pina Colada, just sip your drink and let Rupert Holmes handle it.
- 3:40SPEAKER_03: After all, he's been carrying this song since 1979 and certainly doesn't need your help now.
- 3:47SPEAKER_03: This message brought to you by people trying to enjoy their lives without an obnoxious soundtrack.
- 3:57SPEAKER_02: Thank you.
- 3:58SPEAKER_02: In the dunes of the Cape.
- 4:00SPEAKER_02: I'm sorry, what was that lyric?
- 4:02SPEAKER_02: In the dunes of the Cape?
- 4:03SPEAKER_01: Dunes on the Cape.
- 4:06SPEAKER_01: Sand Dunes.
- 4:07SPEAKER_02: I had no clue what that was.
- 4:08SPEAKER_01: You made your own words up on that one, didn't you?
- 4:10SPEAKER_02: If you love making love at midnight.
- 4:13SPEAKER_01: Pay your dues and wear a cape.
