  True strength. Real humility.

  You know that rush when things finally go your way, you win.
• 0:17
  You're noticed, you feel like you're on top.
• 0:19
  It feels good to be strong, confident, capable.
• 0:23
  But if we're honest, that same moment can quietly plant
• 0:25
  pressure in US. The pressure to keep proving
• 0:29
  ourselves, the fear of falling from that place, the temptation
• 0:33
  to believe we did it all on our own.
• 0:35
  That's where scripture lovingly steps in to reframe what real
• 0:39
  strength actually is. Proverbs Chapter 11 verse 2 says
• 0:43
  when pride comes, then comes disgrace.
• 0:46
  But with the humble is wisdom. Pride always over promises and
• 0:50
  under delivers. It tells you that you're secure
• 0:53
  because of your ability, your talent, your reputation.
• 0:56
  But pride is fragile. It cracks the moment something
• 0:59
  goes wrong. Humility, on the other hand,
• 1:02
  doesn't mean thinking less of yourself.
• 1:05
  It means knowing where your strength truly comes from.
• 1:08
  And that kind of humility brings wisdom.
• 1:10
  It steadies you. Psalm 21 shows us this
• 1:14
  beautifully. Psalm chapter 21, verse 7 says
• 1:18
  the King trusts in the Lord, and through the steadfast love of
• 1:21
  the Most High, he shall not be moved.
• 1:24
  Notice what makes the King unshakeable.
• 1:26
  Not his crown, not his power, not his victories, his trust in
• 1:31
  God's love. That's the kind of confidence
• 1:34
  that doesn't collapse when circumstances change.
• 1:37
  When your security is rooted in God, Success doesn't make you
• 1:41
  arrogant, and failure doesn't destroy you.
• 1:44
  Then we see this truth lived out with incredible clarity in Acts
• 1:47
  chapter 20. Paul is speaking near the end of
• 1:50
  his journey and he says something striking in Acts
• 1:53
  chapter 20 verse 24. He says that he does not
• 1:57
  consider his life of any value to himself if only he may finish
• 2:01
  his course and the ministry he received from the Lord Jesus.
• 2:05
  Paul isn't saying his life doesn't matter.
• 2:08
  He's saying his purpose matters more than his comfort.
• 2:12
  His mission matters more than his reputation.
• 2:15
  His focus isn't on protecting himself, but on being faithful
• 2:18
  to what God entrusted to him. That's real strength.
• 2:22
  Strength that isn't obsessed with being seen.
• 2:25
  Strength that isn't shaken by applause or criticism.
• 2:28
  Strength that comes from knowing who you belong to and why you're
• 2:31
  here. In everyday life, Humility looks
• 2:35
  like giving God credit when things go well.
• 2:38
  It looks like staying teachable instead of defensive.
• 2:41
  It looks like serving others even when no one is watching.
• 2:45
  And it looks like staying focused on God's purpose for
• 2:48
  your life, not just chasing what makes you look successful.
• 2:51
  God isn't asking you to shrink. He's inviting you to be rooted.
• 2:56
  When you trust Him, walk humbly and live for His purpose, you
• 2:59
  discover a strength that lasts, a strength that doesn't need to
• 3:02
  prove itself, a strength that finishes the course Well.

  Let's pray. Heavenly Father, thank You for
• 3:09
  showing me that real strength comes from You.
• 3:12
  Guard my heart from pride and teach me to walk in humility
• 3:15
  whether life is going well or feels uncertain.
• 3:19
  Help me to trust in your steadfast love and not be shaken
• 3:22
  by circumstances like Paul. Help me to stay focused on the
• 3:26
  mission you've given me and to live with wisdom and purpose.
• 3:30
  I want my life to honor you every step of the way in Jesus
• 3:34
  name, Amen. What if the way you pray changed
• 3:38
  because you truly knew who God is?

  Jesus. Now behold, I go bound by the

  Spirit to Jerusalem, not knowing what will happen to me there,

  except that the Holy Spirit testifies in every city, saying

  that bonds and afflictions wait for me.

  But these things don't count, nor do I hold my life dear to

  myself, so that I may finish my race with joy and the ministry

  which I received from the Lord Jesus to fully testify to the

  good news of the grace of God. Now behold, I know that you all,

  among whom I went about preaching God's Kingdom, will

  see my face no more. Therefore I testify to you today

  that I am clean from the blood of all men, for I didn't shrink

  from declaring to you the whole counsel of God.

  Take heed, therefore, to yourselves and to all the flock
• 9:32
  in which the Holy Spirit has made you overseers, to shepherd

  the assembly of the Lord and God, which He purchased with His
• 9:39
  own blood. For I know that after my

  departure, vicious wolves will enter in among you, not sparing
• 9:44
  the flock. Men will arise from among your
• 9:47
  own selves, speaking perverse things to draw away the
• 9:50
  disciples after them. Therefore watch, remembering
• 9:54
  that for a period of three years I didn't cease to admonish
• 9:56
  everyone night and day with tears.

  Now, brothers, I entrust you to God and to the word of His
• 10:02
  grace, which is able to build up and to give you the inheritance
• 10:06
  among all those who are sanctified.

  I coveted no one's silver, gold, or clothing.

  You yourselves know that these hands served my necessities and
• 10:14
  those who were with me in all things.

  I gave you an example that so laboring you ought to help the

  weak and to remember the words of the Lord Jesus that He

  himself said. It is more blessed to give than
• 10:24
  to receive. When he had spoken these things,

  he knelt down and prayed with them all.

  They all wept freely and fell on Paul's neck and kissed him,
• 10:33
  sorrowing most of all because of the word which he had spoken,

  that they should see his face no more than they accompanied him
