- 1:05Speaker 4: The time?
- 1:06Speaker 5: We love Australia So like we live in Sydney.
- 1:10Speaker 6: Yeah, if it was any closer, honestly in a heartbeat,
- 1:16Speaker 6: but it's not even like the far flight, it's more
- 1:19Speaker 6: just the time zone, Like we are so off from everyone.
- 1:26Speaker 3: Yeah, that I think would be the hardest thing.
- 1:28Speaker 6: Like the fly is like, yeah, it's a very long flight,
- 1:31Speaker 6: but you think, like, okay, well just it's just it's
- 1:33Speaker 6: a day. But it's it's the keeping in touch with
- 1:36Speaker 6: people back home that I think is the hardest because
- 1:38Speaker 6: the time zone is crazy.
- 1:40Speaker 2: We start our episodes with our guess with a life lesson.
- 1:44Speaker 7: Wait, okay, so as I.
- 1:45Speaker 2: Guess of honor, would you like to kick us off?
- 1:51Speaker 5: We have a few We think manifesting is so powerful.
- 1:56Speaker 6: I would say we very recently manifested the biggest thing
- 1:59Speaker 6: in our whole. Yeah, this was actually trying to be
- 2:03Speaker 6: my life lesson.
- 2:04Speaker 7: My life lesson was going to be.
- 2:06Speaker 2: Manifestation is real because of what you're so come, I'm
- 2:10Speaker 2: so continuous.
- 2:12Speaker 5: I think we manifested I mean meeting Cody Simpson for
- 2:16Speaker 5: probably over twelve years.
- 2:18Speaker 7: Yeah, Cody.
- 2:18Speaker 6: Just to give the background, Cody Simpson is like our
- 2:22Speaker 6: biggest We love him so much, like we're the biggest
- 2:24Speaker 6: sang gils of Cody Simpson. And we have been since
- 2:27Speaker 6: we were like fourteen and I'm twenty six now, so
- 2:30Speaker 6: it's been a long time. We just love Cody Simpson
- 2:33Speaker 6: and we were we went to see him live. When
- 2:35Speaker 6: he came to Nottingham, which is where we're from. He
- 2:37Speaker 6: was the support act for Justin Bieber and that was
- 2:40Speaker 6: we see him live.
- 2:42Speaker 7: We were from Row.
- 2:43Speaker 6: We queued up for hours and.
- 2:44Speaker 7: We went for Cody. It was on.
- 2:49Speaker 6: We were girls around us were like, who's Cody? We
- 2:53Speaker 6: like we were we were Ferril for Cody and we've
- 2:57Speaker 6: just loved to ever since. And then we managed to
- 3:00Speaker 6: get him to perform our live show.
- 3:01Speaker 3: How did that happen? Did like your people?
- 3:03Speaker 7: Rachel great?
- 3:06Speaker 5: Literally for four months she's been because we did like
- 3:09Speaker 5: a like a social clip for the part, like hey
- 3:12Speaker 5: Australia were coming like a joke about always.
- 3:17Speaker 6: Joke about him, and then people were tagging him in
- 3:20Speaker 6: that and then I think he saw that. Yeah, and
- 3:25Speaker 6: Grace putting a lot of emails.
- 3:32Speaker 3: That you shouldn't make your heroes, but.
- 3:34Speaker 7: You should definitely make you know. We had a great.
- 3:37Speaker 3: Time, so lovely, he was so friendly, he was.
- 3:39Speaker 7: It was amazing. He was just perfect.
- 3:41Speaker 6: It feels like another life. We were like, we couldn't
- 3:43Speaker 6: absorb it.
- 3:45Speaker 3: We were like, oh my god, it were just like
- 3:47Speaker 3: cuddling each other happening.
- 3:50Speaker 7: We were trying to just trying to. We were trying
- 3:54Speaker 7: to soak it in, but it was hard. It was hard.
- 3:56Speaker 3: Do you feel it went so quit?
- 4:00Speaker 6: It went so like we miss him post concert depression.
- 4:05Speaker 3: We're just like you literally had your own personal cod truly.
- 4:09Speaker 7: And we watched his sound check. We cry, we were crying.
- 4:12Speaker 6: We got him on our pod. We were so scared.
- 4:16Speaker 7: Awkward, apologize for the awkward nights. Think, yeah, I'm sure
- 4:22Speaker 7: is real life lesson?
- 4:24Speaker 5: Yeah, it's so it's just like positive thinking, like it
- 4:27Speaker 5: will happen, that's going to work out, nothing to worry about.
- 4:30Speaker 6: Our other favorite life lesson that we say a lot
- 4:32Speaker 6: on our pod is.
- 4:34Speaker 7: Rejection is protection. We love that one. And redirection I
- 4:37Speaker 7: love that. Yeah.
- 4:39Speaker 6: Yeah, so like if it's Memphy, it will be yours.
- 4:42Speaker 6: Everything happens for a reason, all of that everything under
- 4:46Speaker 6: love umbrella.
- 4:47Speaker 3: We love My life.
- 4:48Speaker 8: Lesson is to get pet insurance. My cat decided to
- 4:52Speaker 8: not eat one, not two, not three, not four, not five,
- 4:57Speaker 8: but six chicken wing bones.
- 5:00Speaker 7: Thanks.
- 5:01Speaker 8: She like has been at the vets for like the
- 5:04Speaker 8: last three days, and every time she had to stay
- 5:05Speaker 8: so they would have to take X rays of her no,
- 5:08Speaker 8: and like check her stomach was like breaking down these
- 5:10Speaker 8: bones because when the X rayed her, her entire little
- 5:14Speaker 8: tummy was just filled with bones, just bones, and they're
- 5:17Speaker 8: really dangerous because they're really sharp.
- 5:19Speaker 7: Yeah, you can't digest that.
- 5:22Speaker 8: Every day that she had to stay in it was
- 5:24Speaker 8: like just getting more and more and.
- 5:26Speaker 3: Like, I don't care.
- 5:26Speaker 7: It would have paid.
- 5:27Speaker 8: It would have like sold a kidney to make it work.
- 5:29Speaker 8: But it was five thousand dollars. For the last three days,
- 5:34Speaker 8: it's been over five thousand dollars. It's probably gonna be going.
- 5:36Speaker 3: Up still a way. Yeah, I am paying out of.
- 5:41Speaker 8: Six thousand dollars, like it's around like five point seven.
- 5:43Speaker 8: I'm paying six hundred because we have insurance, because we
- 5:47Speaker 8: haven't chance.
- 5:50Speaker 3: Her name's Binks.
- 5:51Speaker 8: But yeah, so my life lesson is if you don't
- 5:53Speaker 8: have ped insurance, get it.
- 5:56Speaker 3: It has saved a.
- 5:57Speaker 6: Fantastic thing to share with the Grip into the Yeah,
- 6:00Speaker 6: let's do it.
- 6:06Speaker 2: We're so excited to have you in the studio because
- 6:09Speaker 2: you Cheeks, have been in Australia doing your tour.
- 6:12Speaker 7: We've been having so much fun. We're almost at the
- 6:15Speaker 7: end of it now.
- 6:15Speaker 5: It's just crazy and it's the first time in Australian
- 6:18Speaker 5: with We didn't know what to expect. We didn't know
- 6:20Speaker 5: what to expect obviously, we follow like the Australian girls,
- 6:22Speaker 5: you know.
- 6:23Speaker 6: It always felt like a magical land that I didn't
- 6:26Speaker 6: really exist.
- 6:27Speaker 5: So far away, just like what is it? What goes on?
- 6:30Speaker 6: In one of the first impressions, we just loved it.
- 6:38Speaker 3: We were like this sea, everyone's so friendly.
- 6:42Speaker 6: The food, like the breakfasts and that's like my favorite
- 6:47Speaker 6: meal of the day.
- 6:47Speaker 5: We don't have we don't go out for breakfast at
- 6:50Speaker 5: home like this. We do sometimes sometimes, but it's not like.
- 6:53Speaker 8: Sometimes we go to breast.
- 6:56Speaker 6: Like a really good like breakfast burrito.
- 6:59Speaker 7: Like like you're staying in Bondi.
- 7:03Speaker 3: That's yeah.
- 7:04Speaker 5: So like we've been living for breakfast, like we've just
- 7:06Speaker 5: been having the biggest breakfast ever and the banana bread.
- 7:09Speaker 7: And daily highlight, the chi.
- 7:16Speaker 3: We've never had off.
- 7:19Speaker 7: We haven't had.
- 7:20Speaker 8: We keep saying we need to like everywhere like a
- 7:24Speaker 8: blog to go have a magical.
- 7:26Speaker 3: Place, and we're like Kate forgetting to do it. Do
- 7:29Speaker 3: you know, cleve that boat.
- 7:30Speaker 8: We're actually about to get kicked out of the country
- 7:32Speaker 8: for saying, like two hundred followers you.
- 7:37Speaker 7: Need to go like tomorrow.
- 7:38Speaker 3: If it's hot, you're gonna message been that girls. Have
- 7:45Speaker 3: we had chi yet.
- 7:46Speaker 5: Because we've been at the beach just so we're like
- 7:48Speaker 5: we create, like, but we do have to talk about
- 7:53Speaker 5: the elephant in the room.
- 7:55Speaker 8: The tour outfits. My god, how long does it take
- 8:01Speaker 8: for you guys to like plan these fits?
- 8:04Speaker 7: Well, we think a few months ahead.
- 8:06Speaker 5: Yeah, I think for this tour, it was my Christmas
- 8:09Speaker 5: break activity fun and that's all I was doing. I
- 8:13Speaker 5: had nothing else to do with my time, and I
- 8:14Speaker 5: was just gone on the internet finding the outfits.
- 8:18Speaker 7: Yeah, so it took me a couple of weeks.
- 8:20Speaker 6: Yeah, got them all ordered a bit longer, I feel like,
- 8:24Speaker 6: because that was a few more dates. But this tour
- 8:26Speaker 6: was more like summer vibes, like little dressing. Our previous
- 8:31Speaker 6: touris was more like gowns. Yeah, so there's a bit
- 8:36Speaker 6: harder to find.
- 8:38Speaker 3: Yeah, I feel like.
- 8:39Speaker 8: Where do you find like the inspo, Like, how do
- 8:41Speaker 8: you find what you're We love a Pinterest.
- 8:44Speaker 5: We love a Pinterest always, and we just knew, like
- 8:46Speaker 5: we're going to Australia, we have to do summer.
- 8:48Speaker 6: Vibes and like the tour has a theme, right, so
- 8:52Speaker 6: we kind of like try and stick to that. Like
- 8:55Speaker 6: our tour in the UK was called the Planet Tour,
- 8:57Speaker 6: and our whole concept was that, like we create a
- 9:00Speaker 6: girl only like planet, Like we hate that, so that
- 9:07Speaker 6: we try to be a bit like galactic, a bit
- 9:09Speaker 6: like spacey. Whereas this was taking off Australia, so it's
- 9:13Speaker 6: like summer vibe, so the tour has to have a
- 9:15Speaker 6: theme and then like it's kind of follow.
- 9:17Speaker 7: The vibes because we knew like our screen was going
- 9:20Speaker 7: to be.
- 9:20Speaker 5: Like sunset, oranges, pinks, yellows, petelscles.
- 9:26Speaker 7: It was really fun. Do you both have a favorite
- 9:28Speaker 7: look that you've worn on this tour?
- 9:30Speaker 3: We do.
- 9:31Speaker 7: We love our corsets.
- 9:33Speaker 5: We love these courses with our favorite This is a
- 9:35Speaker 5: Ukrainian corset brand called Staphania. They do the most incredible
- 9:39Speaker 5: corset ever, Like you've never been snatched until more until
- 9:43Speaker 5: you we.
- 9:45Speaker 6: You you cannot put it on alone.
- 9:48Speaker 3: Yes, you need like impossible, you need assistance.
- 9:53Speaker 6: And I don't know if your boyfriend will be to
- 9:55Speaker 6: the jo It's almost like we need a professional to
- 9:58Speaker 6: like get you in the corset.
- 10:00Speaker 8: We did want to know and this was one of
- 10:02Speaker 8: the most popular questions we got from the chicks is
- 10:05Speaker 8: what are your favorite brands to shop.
- 10:08Speaker 7: Well?
- 10:09Speaker 5: For this trip, I was on Couckai obsessed like this
- 10:12Speaker 5: stops from Cuckai.
- 10:14Speaker 3: Like Frankie's Love Monday Swim.
- 10:17Speaker 5: Weear like they're the mast bikinis. I think, really supportive.
- 10:21Speaker 5: They've got loads of sizes and everything. But if we're
- 10:23Speaker 5: at home, like, honestly, we'll just go on a sauce
- 10:26Speaker 5: do you guys.
- 10:28Speaker 8: Doing it's not as good of like delivery.
- 10:33Speaker 6: We can get evening delivery of that same day.
- 10:38Speaker 7: We've got something.
- 10:39Speaker 3: Called the iconic. The iconic would be THEO and even
- 10:43Speaker 3: then it's not.
- 10:44Speaker 6: It's not cool, and it's all like a nice price
- 10:48Speaker 6: point as well, and it's quick.
- 10:50Speaker 5: There's so much on there as well, like you can
- 10:52Speaker 5: find like bikinis in the winter time or like anything
- 10:56Speaker 5: or whatever.
- 10:56Speaker 3: I love their gift section but laggage, Yeah, they've got
- 11:00Speaker 3: loads of good Yeah you just got a gift guy
- 11:02Speaker 3: for her. Yeah, very good for gifting.
- 11:04Speaker 2: And also the beauty of course has made this tour always.
- 11:09Speaker 2: Do you guys have go to beauty brandom products that
- 11:12Speaker 2: you always use?
- 11:13Speaker 5: Yeah, we've been doing the same face on this tour
- 11:15Speaker 5: pretty much every day. We're using the Kylie Cosmetic skin tint.
- 11:18Speaker 7: We are ABSCT. It's so it's way more.
- 11:22Speaker 6: High coverage than you would expect.
- 11:24Speaker 5: It's so thin and light, like honestly get it because
- 11:27Speaker 5: you've put it in Mecca.
- 11:28Speaker 6: Right yeah, yeah, right now, yeah, I'm in Charlotte Tilbury
- 11:31Speaker 6: right now, but.
- 11:32Speaker 7: It's I get it. But it's good a silk. Yeah,
- 11:36Speaker 7: we love a little if we need a bit more.
- 11:38Speaker 6: High our money Bronzer, that's like our favorite. We love
- 11:43Speaker 6: Lady Gargar's beauty.
- 11:47Speaker 7: They're so amazing.
- 11:50Speaker 3: Ours hour glass, Spanish Conceila right always Scar because both
- 11:54Speaker 3: of your like Scar.
- 11:55Speaker 7: I've got the Lorrel one on.
- 11:58Speaker 6: We like y s l Lash class we do. We
- 12:00Speaker 6: like Charlotte Tillbury, Muscara.
- 12:02Speaker 3: Yeah that one, that tube yeah one.
- 12:06Speaker 5: Yeah, pillow topic no, the pink tube anyways, Muscas I
- 12:14Speaker 5: fear are.
- 12:14Speaker 8: So good, like, yeah, I love how much you guys
- 12:18Speaker 8: obviously share stuff together.
- 12:21Speaker 3: If one of you likes something, the other one will
- 12:22Speaker 3: get it because we like.
- 12:27Speaker 8: Mind you need to use this, you need to get this,
- 12:30Speaker 8: Like if one of us forgot our makeup bag, it
- 12:32Speaker 8: will be because my ship's in her ship interchangeable.
- 12:37Speaker 6: Yeah yeah, cost per use exactly.
- 12:42Speaker 8: Now, let's get into friendship, because obviously you guys have
- 12:45Speaker 8: one of the most iconic friendships big claps trademark. But
- 12:56Speaker 8: what is your number one tip for making friends in
- 12:58Speaker 8: your twenties.
- 12:59Speaker 6: I think you you have to make the effort.
- 13:04Speaker 7: Yeah, in your twenties.
- 13:05Speaker 6: I feel like friends aren't going to just like turn
- 13:08Speaker 6: up on your doorstep. It's like and it's kind of
- 13:11Speaker 6: like dating, Like I think you have to make the effort.
- 13:14Speaker 6: You have to put yourself out there. You have to
- 13:17Speaker 6: be proactive, like I'm not going to run into five
- 13:20Speaker 6: times a week because we're in the same school or
- 13:22Speaker 6: at the same job. Like I'm going to ask you
- 13:24Speaker 6: to go for a coffee, like and I'm actually going
- 13:26Speaker 6: to follow up, like I do think that is a
- 13:28Speaker 6: big part of it, Like you just you have to
- 13:30Speaker 6: make the effort, Like friends aren't.
- 13:32Speaker 3: Going to just pop into yeah, just knock on your door.
- 13:35Speaker 7: And go, hey, let's go out.
- 13:38Speaker 6: Like I do think you kind of have to treat
- 13:40Speaker 6: it like dating in some aspects.
- 13:42Speaker 7: You have to put a lot of My sister is
- 13:44Speaker 7: like the best at this, Like she's very good.
- 13:47Speaker 5: Makes like she's made like four new friends this year.
- 13:50Speaker 5: Like she's really good at it, and it's because she like,
- 13:52Speaker 5: she's like, should we go out for dinner tomorrow? And
- 13:54Speaker 5: she's like proactive and she's like.
- 13:55Speaker 6: And she goes that message after and be like, let's
- 13:57Speaker 6: get a car? Can we get a coffee on Thursday?
- 14:00Speaker 5: And she's still got it and she's made these really
- 14:02Speaker 5: beautiful friendships in her twenties and I really admire for that.
- 14:05Speaker 3: And I do think we could take a leave out
- 14:07Speaker 3: of her book.
- 14:07Speaker 5: But we're so comfortable that we have each other while
- 14:10Speaker 5: I am doing anymore, but we do.
- 14:12Speaker 6: Yeah, it's like if you like someone at your workout class,
- 14:15Speaker 6: like let's follow up, like.
- 14:18Speaker 5: And just go for it. So I love this, you know,
- 14:20Speaker 5: just slide in. It's like finding a boyfriend.
- 14:22Speaker 7: Yeah, exactly.
- 14:23Speaker 6: It's tricky, like you can't be too hard on yourself.
- 14:26Speaker 6: I feel like it's really tough. It is hard making
- 14:28Speaker 6: friends in your twenties.
- 14:29Speaker 5: But then we do just trust that, like more people
- 14:31Speaker 5: are going to come into our lives. I think when
- 14:32Speaker 5: we're like having kids and then we start taking our
- 14:35Speaker 5: kids to school with mom, and I'm like, well, there's
- 14:40Speaker 5: so many more people we're going to meet and make
- 14:42Speaker 5: friends within our lifetime, but we don't know yet. Yeah,
- 14:45Speaker 5: and that's actually really fun.
- 14:46Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 14:46Speaker 8: I feel like we always get to like the end
- 14:48Speaker 8: of the year and we'll look back and you like
- 14:49Speaker 8: kind of see how many people have come into your life. Yeah,
- 14:52Speaker 8: and it is those people that it's like the mutual
- 14:54Speaker 8: effort as well as Yeah, that the people that make yeah,
- 14:57Speaker 8: that make just as much effort to like be proactive
- 15:00Speaker 8: in building that friendship.
- 15:01Speaker 7: And what's that saying.
- 15:02Speaker 6: It's like, not every friend has to be like a
- 15:05Speaker 6: ride or die friend for life, like friends for a season,
- 15:09Speaker 6: friends for a reason, or friends for life like not
- 15:12Speaker 6: you don't have to have this huge like our lives
- 15:14Speaker 6: are so intertwined with everyone, Like everyone have to be
- 15:17Speaker 6: a best friend? Yeah, okay, just to have a friend
- 15:19Speaker 6: that you go out with or just a friend that
- 15:21Speaker 6: you just like call and like chat about boys too,
- 15:24Speaker 6: or like it's okay for friends to serve different purposes.
- 15:26Speaker 6: Not every single one has to be like the ride
- 15:29Speaker 6: or Dia Besty.
- 15:30Speaker 7: What's it like.
- 15:30Speaker 2: Working with your best friend and how do you balance
- 15:33Speaker 2: your work life and then your friendship.
- 15:36Speaker 5: Well, ever, since we were in primary school and secretary
- 15:39Speaker 5: school when we were like besties, we were just like, well,
- 15:43Speaker 5: what are we going to do when we leave school?
- 15:44Speaker 7: Like, well, it has to be something together.
- 15:46Speaker 5: Like we'd sit there at lunch, we'd be like, well
- 15:47Speaker 5: we have to do something together, Like so what are
- 15:49Speaker 5: we going to do? We were like thinking, we'll be
- 15:52Speaker 5: just open a shop, like open a shop.
- 15:54Speaker 6: We would like draw out the shop and like yeah,
- 15:56Speaker 6: go for the shops.
- 15:58Speaker 7: I know.
- 15:58Speaker 5: So we always kind of had this idea that we
- 16:00Speaker 5: wanted to do something together. And then it was like
- 16:02Speaker 5: the era when like there was all the cool bloggers.
- 16:05Speaker 3: Oh my god, like.
- 16:05Speaker 7: We cologe, Yeah, we're going to be bloggers. We're going
- 16:08Speaker 7: to be a cool blogger girls.
- 16:10Speaker 5: So then we we had this bride start our little
- 16:12Speaker 5: blog at school at school.
- 16:14Speaker 7: And we would like to personal little blog.
- 16:16Speaker 3: My god, did anyone ever try to talk about it?
- 16:19Speaker 6: Oh yeah, starting lunch in my car.
- 16:23Speaker 3: Yeah, we were really scary.
- 16:25Speaker 5: It wasn't nice because we were like, let's just keep
- 16:27Speaker 5: this hush hush.
- 16:28Speaker 9: Like she bullied you for doing like well they just
- 16:32Speaker 9: were like it was just like you know, but it
- 16:36Speaker 9: was just like it was just like what are.
- 16:39Speaker 6: They doing kind of like okay, your not wouldn't kind
- 16:43Speaker 6: of not we don't want to be associated with you.
- 16:44Speaker 6: Anybody kind of like pushed because it was like we
- 16:47Speaker 6: were weird. It wasn't a supportive environment, you know. It
- 16:50Speaker 6: wasn't like oh my god, this is cool. It was
- 16:52Speaker 6: like trying to kind of enbarronment. Yeah, it was like
- 16:57Speaker 6: doing this for yeah.
- 16:58Speaker 5: But it only kind of made us want to do
- 17:00Speaker 5: it more, and we were like, well, no, let's stick
- 17:01Speaker 5: to oeld Guns, like we really love this, like this
- 17:03Speaker 5: is something we want to do.
- 17:04Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 17:05Speaker 6: It like weirdly spurred us on, yeah, and it like
- 17:07Speaker 6: deterred us, I don't know.
- 17:09Speaker 5: Yeah, And then as soon as we left school, were like, okay,
- 17:11Speaker 5: let's start the YouTube then, like because like no one's
- 17:13Speaker 5: going to be able to talk shit to our faces now,
- 17:15Speaker 5: like we can like sue like it's going to be
- 17:18Speaker 5: less embarrassing like if we start speaking.
- 17:21Speaker 7: So then we started that and then.
- 17:24Speaker 6: It's just been a very I don't think it's like
- 17:27Speaker 6: we didn't wake up one day and like suddenly like
- 17:29Speaker 6: we're like working together, Like it's been a like we
- 17:33Speaker 6: started this film week like ten years ago. Like this
- 17:35Speaker 6: has been a very gradual, slow process, and it's it
- 17:39Speaker 6: kind of feels like it's all we've ever really known.
- 17:43Speaker 5: It does feel like that. It's like this is all
- 17:44Speaker 5: we've only ever like done stuff, like we thought.
- 17:46Speaker 6: We've had little part time jobs when we were younger,
- 17:49Speaker 6: obviously separately, but this has been like adulthood, Like this
- 17:52Speaker 6: has just been the way life has been.
- 17:54Speaker 5: Yeah, like she's always been here like yeah, yeah, So
- 17:59Speaker 5: we've kind of got into our groove with it and.
- 18:01Speaker 3: It feels and it's just been very slow.
- 18:03Speaker 5: Yeah, it's been a lovely progression and we know how
- 18:06Speaker 5: each other works, and like.
- 18:08Speaker 6: Hasn't really been anything where it's like, oh, I really
- 18:11Speaker 6: want to do that, and then one of us is like,
- 18:13Speaker 6: oh no, I hate that.
- 18:14Speaker 7: Like we do.
- 18:15Speaker 6: We have the same like interest likes, we like the
- 18:18Speaker 6: same things, like we are.
- 18:20Speaker 1: We're very.
- 18:22Speaker 8: Yeah, how do you have any tips with friends that
- 18:24Speaker 8: like struggle maybe with communicating with friends when like it's
- 18:28Speaker 8: not a big deal, but they still.
- 18:30Speaker 3: Kind of need to flag something.
- 18:32Speaker 6: I feel like like kind of striking while the iron's
- 18:34Speaker 6: hot is a good way to go pointing things out
- 18:38Speaker 6: in the moment, like saying things in the moment rather
- 18:41Speaker 6: than letting things fester, letting things build up, sweeping things
- 18:46Speaker 6: under the root, because then all of those little things.
- 18:49Speaker 3: Just build and build and build and build and build.
- 18:51Speaker 6: And then all of a sudden, you've got this thing
- 18:52Speaker 6: in your head that's like there's been so many things.
- 18:55Speaker 6: Are addressing things as they as they happen.
- 18:58Speaker 7: As let's just say.
- 19:00Speaker 5: It's a relationship too, isn't it, Like yeah, exactly, just
- 19:02Speaker 5: if something happens that day, bring it up, talk about it,
- 19:06Speaker 5: address it, and then.
- 19:07Speaker 7: Hopefully move forward it never happened again or whatever.
- 19:09Speaker 8: But like you said, you guys have been creating content
- 19:13Speaker 8: for yongks. What is, in your own opinions, your most
- 19:18Speaker 8: iconic moment?
- 19:20Speaker 3: Well, everyone, I fear everyone.
- 19:22Speaker 5: So we used to film like when we went out
- 19:24Speaker 5: and we would be drinking a lot, like that was
- 19:26Speaker 5: our thing.
- 19:26Speaker 7: Like we were like drinking.
- 19:30Speaker 3: Like we thought we.
- 19:31Speaker 7: Were so cool.
- 19:32Speaker 6: Yeah, like a night out was the most productive thing
- 19:34Speaker 6: in the world. Like we would do get ready with us. Yeah,
- 19:36Speaker 6: that was one YouTube video pre drink with us. That
- 19:39Speaker 6: was the second YouTube video, flog the night out. That
- 19:41Speaker 6: was another YouTube video. We'd get home and film an
- 19:44Speaker 6: aftermath that was like four YouTube videos and insane.
- 19:50Speaker 5: We'd always be pre drinking at my family house before
- 19:54Speaker 5: we went out because it was closer to town.
- 19:56Speaker 3: We just get a little but did we get did
- 19:58Speaker 3: we get.
- 19:59Speaker 7: The bottles left? Maybe in the cab?
- 20:02Speaker 5: And there was one time where it's it feels on
- 20:04Speaker 5: the toilet and she was filming me.
- 20:07Speaker 7: I don't know. Did I swing round? You just fell?
- 20:10Speaker 7: You had the camera swung round or something.
- 20:13Speaker 5: And and then we used to have this guinea pig,
- 20:18Speaker 5: what was his name, Henry rest in peace?
- 20:21Speaker 7: He rest.
- 20:22Speaker 5: There used to be two and then one died and
- 20:25Speaker 5: then I think.
- 20:25Speaker 7: I fell into thee.
- 20:28Speaker 5: And then and that was Henry wasn't harmed, thankfully.
- 20:32Speaker 6: It was of the of the structure the cage, and
- 20:39Speaker 6: that was that.
- 20:39Speaker 7: And that was people like that. People people do reference that.
- 20:43Speaker 3: I remember that.
- 20:44Speaker 5: Where did we must have gone to rock City or
- 20:45Speaker 5: something like that, something like that. We were just two
- 20:48Speaker 5: drunk girls. It was a time for it was a time.
- 20:51Speaker 3: Oh my god, that's.
- 20:54Speaker 7: Thank you, poor Henry.
- 20:57Speaker 3: We have a little game like intro.
- 21:01Speaker 2: So we're going to play this or that Australia versus UK.
- 21:05Speaker 3: Oh I like this, yeah, okay.
- 21:07Speaker 8: Okay, Australia versus the UK, and you've got to pick
- 21:10Speaker 8: who's who's the winner?
- 21:11Speaker 3: All right? Boys?
- 21:14Speaker 6: Oh men, Well we've not had experience with an Australian
- 21:18Speaker 6: man are very handsome and we think the tan is
- 21:22Speaker 6: helping a lot, just like we've been thinking like is
- 21:26Speaker 6: he handsome or does he just have a tan?
- 21:28Speaker 3: Yeah, because like is he hard or is he just
- 21:30Speaker 3: six ft?
- 21:31Speaker 5: Yes, we have seen a lot of sexy men we have,
- 21:36Speaker 5: so maybe Australia takes the cake.
- 21:37Speaker 7: Honestly, well, what's.
- 21:39Speaker 3: The vibe of the Aussie men that you guys are
- 21:41Speaker 3: picking up?
- 21:42Speaker 7: Honestly, it's the town. I like the mustache as well.
- 21:47Speaker 6: It's growing on me like he's got a surfboard, Like
- 21:52Speaker 6: it's kind of got quite a good because.
- 21:57Speaker 7: He's he's waking up.
- 22:05Speaker 3: That's it.
- 22:05Speaker 8: What about men's fashion? Who dresses better Australian men or
- 22:10Speaker 8: UK men?
- 22:12Speaker 7: So what do men wear in England? Men like?
- 22:15Speaker 5: It varies, they can wear it. It does very like
- 22:18Speaker 5: you've either got the man in a gila you know
- 22:22Speaker 5: what I mean and like a shirt or you've got
- 22:26Speaker 5: I don't Also when in like job tracks, I mean,
- 22:29Speaker 5: I'm not opposed to post you know, that can't be quite.
- 22:32Speaker 6: Maybe would say UK men are doing better just because
- 22:36Speaker 6: they can do more because.
- 22:37Speaker 7: Winter fashion, because winter you guys.
- 22:39Speaker 2: Actually, yeah, we have seasons, so they Yeah, okay, Australia
- 22:44Speaker 2: versus UK.
- 22:45Speaker 3: The food, there is a lot of good food in England.
- 22:50Speaker 7: There's a lot of good.
- 22:52Speaker 6: Honest think maybe UK a lot of the breakfast food,
- 22:56Speaker 6: but there's some good dinners that you go there.
- 22:59Speaker 8: Really is the Sunday roast.
- 23:03Speaker 6: I feel like chocolate is a bit better chocolate really,
- 23:08Speaker 6: like we think some things we've had, it's like, oh,
- 23:09Speaker 6: it's not as good as the ones.
- 23:11Speaker 8: So the chocolate in the UK is made different to
- 23:14Speaker 8: chocolate in Australia because Australian chocolate has some thing in
- 23:18Speaker 8: it that means it doesn't melt as much in the.
- 23:22Speaker 3: It's actually big.
- 23:23Speaker 8: If you brought UK chocolate to Australia and you compared
- 23:26Speaker 8: it to like an Australian block, the UK one would
- 23:28Speaker 8: melt quicker.
- 23:30Speaker 3: Every day is a school day.
- 23:32Speaker 5: And America got some of these ice creams that just
- 23:34Speaker 5: don't melt the real ice cream.
- 23:36Speaker 7: America also chocolate chocolate.
- 23:39Speaker 2: I heard it has some sort of like wax, like
- 23:41Speaker 2: doesn't taste anything.
- 23:43Speaker 7: Hershees is not good, just doesn't I was gonna say
- 23:46Speaker 7: it's flavor.
- 23:52Speaker 3: Okay, well accent, Yeah, honestly, really, you guys have so
- 23:59Speaker 3: much more variation you.
- 24:00Speaker 5: Get Scotland Ireland.
- 24:04Speaker 6: We were thinking the other day because we've kind of
- 24:06Speaker 6: like traveled around the country a little bit, Like in
- 24:08Speaker 6: the UK you can go like two hours up the
- 24:12Speaker 6: road and there's a completely different accent, thick, really different accent,
- 24:18Speaker 6: whereas like you go like to Perth, other side of
- 24:20Speaker 6: the country and like to us, everyone sounds the same
- 24:24Speaker 6: as in Australia.
- 24:25Speaker 3: Was one especially with Melbourne.
- 24:30Speaker 4: Likes there c Yeah, you really get with what I
- 24:36Speaker 4: hear it in Melbourne. Yeah, but I watched Love Island UK. Okay,
- 24:41Speaker 4: it's that thing like everyone is different and they all
- 24:44Speaker 4: have different as. It's crazy like a good way, Okay,
- 24:48Speaker 4: who's funny Australians or the UK, that's a hard one.
- 24:52Speaker 7: I feel like we're like on the same page with
- 24:54Speaker 7: like humor. That's why it's like.
- 24:56Speaker 5: I think we do have an audience in Australia because
- 24:58Speaker 5: which is all the same.
- 24:59Speaker 6: If you we share like the sarcastic like the US
- 25:05Speaker 6: doesn't really understand the same like sarcastic dry humor, Whereas
- 25:10Speaker 6: I feel like sometimes I feel like UK and Australia
- 25:13Speaker 6: you kind of share that.
- 25:14Speaker 2: Yeah, I think we do, I think, so what about
- 25:18Speaker 2: dating culture.
- 25:20Speaker 5: I mean, we haven't had personal experience the story you guys.
- 25:25Speaker 7: Oh my god.
- 25:27Speaker 8: I saw a clip from one of your shows about
- 25:31Speaker 8: a girl.
- 25:32Speaker 3: That's because they send in, like you guys tell the story.
- 25:37Speaker 8: It's the one about the one that was sitting next
- 25:39Speaker 8: to our best friend and she said that.
- 25:42Speaker 3: She slept with her Yes, confession the story.
- 25:45Speaker 6: We don't know story, but we have part of the
- 25:49Speaker 6: show where we get so as the girls come in,
- 25:52Speaker 6: we have a little confessions box and it's like, write
- 25:55Speaker 6: your confessions and we'll just read them out. Obviously everyone's anonymous,
- 25:58Speaker 6: and yeah, we did have one like I'm here with
- 26:00Speaker 6: my best friend tonight and I've sat with her boyfriend
- 26:02Speaker 6: but she.
- 26:02Speaker 3: Doesn't know and I'm sitting right next to her.
- 26:04Speaker 7: Oh my god.
- 26:05Speaker 2: Every best duo would have literally everyone every week.
- 26:11Speaker 4: Oh my.
- 26:14Speaker 3: Crazy to have that.
- 26:16Speaker 8: Imagine if like your best friend comes over with a drink,
- 26:18Speaker 8: she's like, hey, babe, I got you drink, and sees
- 26:21Speaker 8: what you write, She's got balled. I also rogue choice, baby.
- 26:26Speaker 7: She clearly needed to get it off her chest.
- 26:28Speaker 2: We have heard from people from the US, so I'm
- 26:32Speaker 2: not sure if this would be the same in the UK,
- 26:34Speaker 2: but that men in Australia aren't forward.
- 26:38Speaker 7: Okay, you're out at a bar.
- 26:40Speaker 3: Lag looking hot, a guy probably isn't going to just staring.
- 26:45Speaker 7: You're so laid back, I think. So they've got this
- 26:49Speaker 7: lovely little relaxed that's interesting in.
- 26:52Speaker 2: The US, like cat calling is like a huge thing,
- 26:55Speaker 2: or even like when you're walking down the street, like
- 26:57Speaker 2: a man will come up to you and be like hey.
- 26:59Speaker 3: Girl, yeah us they're confident. But we did want to
- 27:03Speaker 3: wrap up with a little segment.
- 27:05Speaker 2: What has been your biggest life lesson on your journey
- 27:09Speaker 2: so far?
- 27:10Speaker 7: Oh? Life lesson?
- 27:16Speaker 5: I I love everything happens for a reason, good or bad.
- 27:20Speaker 5: It's just like if something just like tragic happens or whatever,
- 27:24Speaker 5: break up, whatever, it's just like right now, yes this
- 27:28Speaker 5: is a bit shit and like.
- 27:29Speaker 7: I'm really sad or whatever.
- 27:31Speaker 5: But God is just trust in the timing of your
- 27:33Speaker 5: life that everything happens for a reason. It will get
- 27:35Speaker 5: better and you will look back and think, oh, yeah,
- 27:37Speaker 5: see that happened because this was meant to happen.
- 27:40Speaker 7: And if that.
- 27:40Speaker 5: Awful thing hadn't happened, then I want to hear right
- 27:43Speaker 5: now And it's like just trusting that it's all going
- 27:46Speaker 5: to work out.
- 27:47Speaker 7: Everything happens for a reason. Yeah, I do.
- 27:48Speaker 6: I do like that one, and I would honestly probably
- 27:51Speaker 6: just bring it to the start of the episode like
- 27:53Speaker 6: rejectionist protection. Yeah, it is like in any rejection is
- 27:58Speaker 6: redirection if someone like lets you go, like let them
- 28:04Speaker 6: let you go because it's like they're doing you a favor,
- 28:06Speaker 6: because it's like I would never have broke up with you, Like,
- 28:08Speaker 6: thank god you broke up with me, because because you
- 28:10Speaker 6: broke up with me, I now I'm with this person.
- 28:12Speaker 3: I like that.
- 28:12Speaker 6: I never would have broke up like you did me
- 28:14Speaker 6: a massive favor. Like I want to send you a
- 28:16Speaker 6: bouquet of flowers and say thank you.
- 28:17Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 28:18Speaker 3: Yeah, same of the guy with that red string on
- 28:20Speaker 3: a board. Yeah, it's so true.
- 28:23Speaker 6: Redirection is like it is a blessing, even though it
- 28:25Speaker 6: doesn't feel like in the moment. Yeah, they're doing your favor.
- 28:28Speaker 3: Yes, it's a boy, beautiful life.
- 28:30Speaker 7: What are your life?
- 28:30Speaker 4: What are you?
- 28:31Speaker 8: Oh no, I've never done that, my god, Oh my god.
- 28:36Speaker 3: What's our biggest life lesson on our Joe?
- 28:38Speaker 7: We love some wisdom? Yeah, oh my god.
- 28:41Speaker 3: Mine is just mine.
- 28:42Speaker 8: A recent one that I'm really trying to embody is
- 28:45Speaker 8: that there is a version of you ten years from
- 28:47Speaker 8: now begging you to have more fun.
- 28:49Speaker 7: Oh. I like that.
- 28:51Speaker 8: I'm a big overthinker and just like people please are. Yeah,
- 28:56Speaker 8: and I can like stress about things that I just
- 28:59Speaker 8: know in ten years.
- 29:00Speaker 3: Time I'd be like, you idiot, Yeah.
- 29:02Speaker 7: Why were you so stressed about that?
- 29:03Speaker 3: And a lot of the time it's things that never happened. Yeah.
- 29:06Speaker 8: So that's my one that I'm like really on the
- 29:08Speaker 8: energy vibes, And I just edited.
- 29:10Speaker 3: The snippet of it this morning, fresh in your brain.
- 29:14Speaker 7: Yeah, I like that.
- 29:15Speaker 3: I think off the back of that.
- 29:16Speaker 2: Something I always like to remind myself is that you're
- 29:19Speaker 2: living your golden years right now.
- 29:21Speaker 7: I am.
- 29:22Speaker 2: I often really nostalgic for the past, but whenever something
- 29:25Speaker 2: really good is happening, or you know, like you're having
- 29:27Speaker 2: a swim in the ocean, or you're at a concert
- 29:30Speaker 2: or you're like giggling with your girlfriends, I really try
- 29:32Speaker 2: and like pause and take a mental snapshot and be like,
- 29:35Speaker 2: this is something that I will remember when I'm an
- 29:37Speaker 2: old lady. Think these were the golden years happening right now.
- 29:42Speaker 7: That's really good.
- 29:43Speaker 5: Like that's what we were trying to remember when Cody
- 29:44Speaker 5: was saying we were to im take soak it in in.
- 29:53Speaker 2: Thank you so much much, guys, so much.
- 30:00Speaker 8: Yeah, like, congratulations on all your success, Like you guys
- 30:03Speaker 8: have worked so so hard and don't think people sometimes
- 30:06Speaker 8: realize how much work and effort goes into you know,
- 30:10Speaker 8: the things that you guys do. So I just want
- 30:12Speaker 8: to say, be congratulations, thank you.
- 30:14Speaker 7: So having to meet you, and thank you for having
- 30:16Speaker 7: us on.
- 30:17Speaker 8: Well that is a wrap on that episode. Thank you
- 30:22Speaker 8: so much, chicky Chicks for.
- 30:24Speaker 3: Having us in your.
- 30:25Speaker 8: Ear holes you know Wheeler to be right in your holes.
- 30:31Speaker 7: Thank you so much.
- 30:32Speaker 8: And also, if you're still here, do us a cheeky
- 30:35Speaker 8: little favor and go chuck a five star review nothing
- 30:39Speaker 8: less on iTunes or Spotify or wherever you're listening, just
- 30:43Speaker 8: because that's hot and it makes us horny if you
- 30:46Speaker 8: do that, so we'd appreciate it and love you lots.
- 30:49Speaker 8: Bye Chicks, Maybe next episode happen, babe.
- 30:52Speaker 2: Bye
