- 0:02Speaker 1: Wake your ass up, fool. John Jay and Rich.
- 0:06Speaker 2: What's crackin' like?
- 0:07Speaker 1: And this is the big boss dog, Snoopy Deagle Double Jizzle.
- 0:10Speaker 3: Bang, boom, what you gonna do?
- 0:11Speaker 4: John Jay and Rich.
- 0:13Speaker 1: We're not talking about Ren 1010. We're not talking about Lassie.
- 0:16Speaker 1: It's the one and only dog, y'all. The classiest ass,
- 0:18Speaker 1: the big Snoopy Deagle Double Jizzle. In your face to
- 0:20Speaker 1: me and in the place to be. And you're listening
- 0:23Speaker 1: to John Jay and Rich.
- 0:24Speaker 5: Wake your ass up.
- 0:25Speaker 2: Today, Rich Barrett is National what? National Bosses Day.
- 0:30Speaker 6: Celebrate your boss or maybe tell us about the worst
- 0:33Speaker 6: thing your boss ever asked you to do. That wasn't
- 0:35Speaker 6: really related to work. It is National Cut Up Your
- 0:38Speaker 6: Credit Card Day, which is a good day to take
- 0:41Speaker 6: care of debt, and National Dictionary Day, which I like
- 0:44Speaker 6: because that's the word for me that is always hardest
- 0:47Speaker 6: to spell.
- 0:47Speaker 2: For me, it is always restaurant. That one is so hard.
- 0:49Speaker 7: I can't remember where the.
- 0:50Speaker 2: A-U goes, on the front side or the back side.
- 0:52Speaker 7: I'm with you on that, Rich.
- 0:54Speaker 6: And congratulations is very tough for me, too.
- 0:56Speaker 2: I just write congrats on everything.
- 0:59Speaker 3: So who has the debate they wanted to bring up?
- 1:02Speaker 6: I want to talk about this thing that I've been
- 1:04Speaker 6: seeing kind of floating around TikTok. And I don't know
- 1:07Speaker 6: if I agree with the people that are coming out
- 1:09Speaker 6: against this new couple, a new dating couple. They're going
- 1:12Speaker 6: on a trip together, right? And the girlfriend is complaining
- 1:18Speaker 6: because her boyfriend got the opportunity to go first class
- 1:25Speaker 6: and upgrade on his flight. Short flight, hour and a
- 1:27Speaker 6: half flight, but first class ticket.
- 1:30Speaker 2: And he took it.
- 1:31Speaker 6: And he left her in coach. They both bought coach tickets,
- 1:35Speaker 6: but he got the free upgrade. And she's saying if
- 1:39Speaker 6: he's any kind of boyfriend at all, he would have either, A,
- 1:42Speaker 6: just said, no thanks, I want to ride.
- 1:44Speaker 2: Next to my girlfriend.
- 1:46Speaker 6: Or she would have preferred that he gave up his
- 1:49Speaker 6: first class ticket for her to sit in first class.
- 1:53Speaker 6: And she said he has no chivalry. He ended up
- 1:55Speaker 6: taking the first class ticket for himself.
- 1:57Speaker 7: Yeah, and I saw this story too, Rich, and at
- 2:00Speaker 7: first I was like, What a crappy situation to be in, right?
- 2:05Speaker 7: Because obviously you want to take advantage of the free
- 2:08Speaker 7: first class. But in my mind, I'm like, okay, how
- 2:10Speaker 7: long is this flight? Because if it's from Arizona, it
- 2:13Speaker 7: was an hour and a half. I would be like,
- 2:15Speaker 7: let's switch halfway through. We can both get a little
- 2:18Speaker 7: bit of it. But I don't know. I think that
- 2:20Speaker 7: we needed a lot more information because I feel like
- 2:23Speaker 7: the story also started to develop that the boyfriend hasn't
- 2:26Speaker 7: necessarily been like holding up his part of the relationship financially.
- 2:30Speaker 2: So there's other issues.
- 2:31Speaker 7: So there was like other things that were kind of
- 2:34Speaker 7: underlying it. And she's like, I've been paying rent for
- 2:36Speaker 7: the last four months and you're taking the first class upgrade.
- 2:40Speaker 3: Because I like that this actually happened to me two
- 2:44Speaker 3: weeks ago. So Blake and I are on a flight,
- 2:46Speaker 3: a four-hour flight in coach. And the flight attendant comes
- 2:50Speaker 3: over to my seat and says, I've been upgraded to
- 2:52Speaker 3: first class. Now, before you get on the flight, there's
- 2:55Speaker 3: this list that should have people's names on it. And
- 2:57Speaker 3: Blake was like, oh, look, my name is on the list.
- 2:59Speaker 3: He said, Blake V. My name is on the list
- 3:01Speaker 3: to get upgraded. I was like, oh, and then I
- 3:02Speaker 3: saw my name on the list too. And I was like,
- 3:03Speaker 3: all right, but I didn't say anything. So flight attendant
- 3:06Speaker 3: comes over and says, hey, Mr. Van Ness, you've been
- 3:08Speaker 3: upgraded to first class. So before I tell you what happened,
- 3:12Speaker 3: I think there's other things you got to look at
- 3:14Speaker 3: our flight. I can sit in the middle seat and
- 3:16Speaker 3: the crap.
- 3:16Speaker 2: It doesn't matter.
- 3:17Speaker 3: Yeah. Okay.
- 3:17Speaker 2: Hour and a half, but I'm just telling.
- 3:19Speaker 3: You, if I was flying from here to Vegas, here
- 3:21Speaker 3: to San Diego, here to LA, it's an hour flight.
- 3:23Speaker 3: I have no problems in the middle seat, no matter what, uh,
- 3:26Speaker 3: four hour flight, different ball game. We've got to have
- 3:28Speaker 3: a conversation because my back hurts, my whatever hurts. I
- 3:31Speaker 3: sit in these uncomfortable seats. So as soon as she
- 3:33Speaker 3: said that the flight attendants to me, I looked at
- 3:35Speaker 3: my wife and I said, can I give it to her?
- 3:37Speaker 2: And you don't find it.
- 3:38Speaker 3: I said, no, no, Why?
- 3:40Speaker 2: I don't know. Maybe there's somebody after me that gets
- 3:42Speaker 2: upgraded if I pass, right? Oh, that's surprising.
- 3:46Speaker 8: Seems like it would be your seat at that point.
- 3:48Speaker 3: But I didn't pay for it. They're just upgrading me.
- 3:51Speaker 3: So I said, I go, can I give it to
- 3:52Speaker 3: my wife? And my wife says, the lady says no.
- 3:54Speaker 3: Flight attendant says no to me. As my wife says,
- 3:57Speaker 3: you take it. You need to have leg room. You
- 4:00Speaker 3: need to make sure your back doesn't hurt. And so
- 4:02Speaker 3: then I was like, it's a spur of the, you know,
- 4:04Speaker 3: the flight's getting ready to take off, right?
- 4:06Speaker 2: So it's like, you got to make it. And everybody's staring, right? Right.
- 4:09Speaker 3: And then I like, so it's okay if I take it.
- 4:11Speaker 2: And she goes, yeah, you take it.
- 4:12Speaker 3: It's a far flight. So boom, I went up there
- 4:15Speaker 3: and freaking, it's a whole other ball game.
- 4:17Speaker 2: It's kind of nice. Cheese tray.
- 4:18Speaker 9: Yeah.
- 4:19Speaker 2: Glass, water in the glass.
- 4:21Speaker 7: So halfway through, it didn't like dawn on you and
- 4:23Speaker 7: be like, oh man. I feel pretty bad.
- 4:26Speaker 5: Okay.
- 4:27Speaker 8: But I feel like you did it the right way.
- 4:30Speaker 10: You offered it to her first. You checked if she
- 4:32Speaker 10: could do it first.
- 4:33Speaker 8: This guy doesn't seem like he, he was like, yeah,
- 4:36Speaker 8: let's go.
- 4:36Speaker 3: There's other situations with her, that situation. But I got
- 4:39Speaker 3: to tell you this, our bags, cause she has a
- 4:42Speaker 3: hurt shoulder. So she can't carry the suitcases. Our suitcases
- 4:45Speaker 3: are over in coach up on the top. So I
- 4:48Speaker 3: start to panic. I start going, wait, when we land. Yeah.
- 4:50Speaker 3: Do I have to wait for everybody to get off
- 4:51Speaker 3: the plane and go back? So I said to the
- 4:54Speaker 3: flight attendant, you say, probably I said the flight attendant,
- 4:56Speaker 3: I go, Hey, my, my bags are back there. And
- 4:58Speaker 3: she goes, Oh, why don't you go ahead and go
- 5:00Speaker 3: get them?
- 5:01Speaker 2: We're in the middle. I got two hours left.
- 5:03Speaker 3: I go, I can do that.
- 5:03Speaker 2: She goes, yeah.
- 5:04Speaker 3: So I walked back there to get my, to get
- 5:06Speaker 3: her bag in my bag. I grabbed one bag and
- 5:08Speaker 3: then the flight attendant goes, give me the bag too.
- 5:10Speaker 3: I'll take the other bag. So he takes the other
- 5:11Speaker 3: bag and I'm like, excuse me, excuse me.
- 5:12Speaker 2: First class.
- 5:13Speaker 3: I think that's the benefit of you being married for.
- 5:15Speaker 2: A very long time because it's.
- 5:20Speaker 6: I was thinking if that happened to me, I would
- 5:23Speaker 6: be afraid to ask my wife, Stacy, if I could
- 5:25Speaker 6: go to first class. I would just suffer and be like, no,
- 5:28Speaker 6: I appreciate the opportunity. I'm going to sit here and coach.
- 5:31Speaker 7: And you would, you would give up the first class.
- 5:33Speaker 6: I would not give it up for anybody else, but
- 5:35Speaker 6: I would not take it because I think my wife
- 5:38Speaker 6: would be shooting daggers at me.
- 5:39Speaker 8: Oh, she definitely would.
- 5:41Speaker 2: Yeah. Why would you not want to spend time with me?
- 5:44Speaker 6: We're going on this trip to spend time. So even
- 5:47Speaker 6: though I would love to, I would have no problem
- 5:49Speaker 6: going and taking it.
- 5:50Speaker 2: The problem I have is that she would be really
- 5:53Speaker 2: mad at me if I even considered it.
- 5:54Speaker 3: Well, also, I've got to tell you, I've been on
- 5:56Speaker 3: many flights with you, and you talked the whole flight.
- 5:58Speaker 3: So for me, with my wife, spending time starts when
- 6:02Speaker 3: we land.
- 6:02Speaker 8: Right, right.
- 6:04Speaker 2: You're watching a show.
- 6:06Speaker 3: I got headphones on. I'm watching a movie. She's reading
- 6:09Speaker 3: a book. We're not spending time together. So anyway, that's
- 6:11Speaker 3: to me how I think the debate should go.
- 6:13Speaker 2: But maybe people feel different.
- 6:15Speaker 8: Would you take the tunnel?
- 6:16Speaker 7: All relationships are different.
- 6:17Speaker 8: Would I take the first class?
- 6:18Speaker 11: Yeah.
- 6:20Speaker 8: I probably would just want to be with Scott.
- 6:23Speaker 10: Because honestly, it's such a short flight. Is it really
- 6:26Speaker 10: even worth it? Is it worth an argument? Is it
- 6:28Speaker 10: worth someone getting upset about it?
- 6:30Speaker 8: No, to me.
- 6:30Speaker 2: I just don't think my wife would get upset. I
- 6:33Speaker 2: don't think your wife would. No, she would not. Interesting debate.
- 6:38Speaker 2: Little story. By the way, first class is awesome.
- 6:41Speaker 3: I'm not going to lie.
- 6:41Speaker 8: I'm sure it's great.
- 6:42Speaker 2: Although, I will tell you this.
- 6:43Speaker 3: Emergency row in the first row of emergency row, when
- 6:48Speaker 3: you have that wall in front of you, much better,
- 6:50Speaker 3: more better, more better leg room than first class. But
- 6:52Speaker 3: first class is just like hot towel, cheese tray, breakfast, lunch, dinner.
- 6:58Speaker 3: I mean, all kinds of drinks before you take off.
- 7:00Speaker 2: It was great. While people are loading up, do you
- 7:02Speaker 2: want to- In fact, you know what?
- 7:02Speaker 3: When you're in first class and somebody comes up from another,
- 7:06Speaker 3: from the coach to use the bathroom, like, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa.
- 7:08Speaker 2: Hey, you can't use this bathroom. That's for us. Hey,
- 7:11Speaker 2: what's going on here? And they're like, you didn't buy
- 7:13Speaker 2: a first class ticket. I know, but now I'm one
- 7:15Speaker 2: of you.
- 7:15Speaker 10: I was going to say, do you think that the
- 7:16Speaker 10: people that paid for the first class tickets get upset
- 7:18Speaker 10: when people just.
- 7:19Speaker 8: Get randomly upgraded? I paid for this. You just walk
- 7:23Speaker 8: up from coach.
- 7:24Speaker 3: I don't ever fly first class. It was a special thing.
- 7:26Speaker 3: So don't come down on me.
- 7:27Speaker 2: Management.
- 7:29Speaker 10: Have you guys ever seen the first class with, oh
- 7:32Speaker 10: my God, what's our favorite comedian, Brian Regan? He's like,
- 7:35Speaker 10: did you ever notice when people are in first class
- 7:37Speaker 10: and you walk in and they're on their laptops and like,
- 7:39Speaker 10: I'm working, I'm making money right now. Right now I'm
- 7:41Speaker 10: making money. And then they have that curtain and it's like,
- 7:44Speaker 10: snap it shut. I don't want to see those people,
- 7:46Speaker 10: even in my peripheral.
- 7:47Speaker 12: I had one chance to make me much.
- 7:49Speaker 8: Second time is one to let go.
- 7:53Speaker 2: What's the five horoscopes today?
- 7:54Speaker 7: I'm just breaking down what your sign needs to hear
- 7:57Speaker 7: right now from dating disasters to questionable financial decisions. So
- 8:01Speaker 7: if it's your birthday today, you're a Libra just like Kyle.
- 8:04Speaker 7: And you share a birthday with John Mayer and Naomi Osaka.
- 8:07Speaker 7: So Kyle, I'm going to start with you because you're
- 8:08Speaker 7: our Libra. Libras. While we're still in your birthday season,
- 8:12Speaker 7: you are dangerously close to turning one birthday dinner into
- 8:15Speaker 7: a three-week celebration. You've already had the brunch, the rooftop drinks,
- 8:18Speaker 7: the birthday photo shoot. Your friends love you, but they're
- 8:21Speaker 7: kind of checking their bank accounts and, like, begging you
- 8:23Speaker 7: to stop making plans.
- 8:24Speaker 8: Do you remember when you asked me what I'm doing
- 8:26Speaker 8: for my birthday? What did I say?
- 8:27Speaker 7: Nothing. She said nothing. I said, are you going to
- 8:29Speaker 7: go to dinner?
- 8:30Speaker 8: She said, no.
- 8:30Speaker 7: I don't know.
- 8:31Speaker 8: I've got no plans right now.
- 8:33Speaker 2: Right now.
- 8:34Speaker 8: So let's make some, guys. That's true.
- 8:37Speaker 2: Valerie, good morning. What's your sign? I'm an Aries.
- 8:40Speaker 7: Aries, you guys are about to get invited to some
- 8:43Speaker 7: Halloween plans with people that you don't even really like
- 8:46Speaker 7: very much. So before you commit to a $ 90 costume
- 8:49Speaker 7: and a $ 40 Uber, ask yourself if you actually want
- 8:51Speaker 7: to go or if you're just going to have FOMO.
- 8:54Speaker 12: So true.
- 8:54Speaker 13: Thank you, guys.
- 8:55Speaker 7: You're welcome.
- 8:56Speaker 2: Thanks, Valerie. Good morning, Michelle. What's your sign?
- 9:00Speaker 14: Hi, good morning.
- 9:00Speaker 11: Taurus.
- 9:01Speaker 7: Okay, Michelle, your fall shopping addiction, it's getting out of control.
- 9:04Speaker 7: You may have gone into Target for toothpaste and then
- 9:07Speaker 7: left with like a pumpkin-shaped pillow, three candles, and a
- 9:09Speaker 7: throw blanket you didn't need. So your home, it doesn't
- 9:12Speaker 7: need another seasonal personality. Put the debit card away.
- 9:15Speaker 13: Okay, note taken.
- 9:17Speaker 2: There you go. Thanks, Michelle.
- 9:20Speaker 3: It's too loud.
- 9:21Speaker 5: You'll see what I mean.
- 9:21Speaker 7: Thank you.
- 9:22Speaker 2: Whoa.
- 9:22Speaker 8: What's that?
- 9:24Speaker 2: I clicked on something on my computer. Oops. It sounded
- 9:27Speaker 2: like me. It did sound like you.
- 9:29Speaker 8: That was you in the Ferrari.
- 9:31Speaker 5: It was AI me.
- 9:32Speaker 3: It was AI me. What do you got for Pisces?
- 9:35Speaker 7: Okay, Rich, for you, you're our Pisces in the studio.
- 9:38Speaker 7: You are about to convince yourself that the person you've
- 9:40Speaker 7: been casually seeing would make the perfect couple's costume with you.
- 9:43Speaker 7: You haven't even really established if you're exclusive, and you're
- 9:46Speaker 7: already trying to make them with the duo costume. So
- 9:49Speaker 7: just start with their last name is first. Do you
- 9:52Speaker 7: know your wife's last name?
- 9:53Speaker 3: Uh, Barra.
- 9:54Speaker 7: Okay.
- 9:55Speaker 2: How about Leo?
- 9:58Speaker 7: Yeah, I'm a Leo. Oh, leos we kind of need
- 10:01Speaker 7: to stop pretending that we don't care about what halloween
- 10:03Speaker 7: costume we're wearing when we've already got three pinterest boards
- 10:06Speaker 7: and a fashion nova cart worth three hundred dollars we
- 10:08Speaker 7: do want to be the hottest person at the party
- 10:10Speaker 7: and that's fine but we need to like not act
- 10:13Speaker 7: surprised when somebody else is dressed up.
- 10:14Speaker 3: As the same character Okay, how about you wrap up
- 10:17Speaker 3: with Virgos?
- 10:17Speaker 7: Yeah, John Jay, you're about to become the unpaid event
- 10:20Speaker 7: coordinator for your entire friend group. Somehow you're responsible for
- 10:23Speaker 7: dinner reservations, the Uber, the tickets, and making sure everyone
- 10:26Speaker 7: gets home alive. So make sure that you're sending Venmo
- 10:29Speaker 7: requests before the end of the weekend.
- 10:31Speaker 2: All right, thank you, Payne Whitmore.
- 10:33Speaker 3: If you didn't get your sign read and you want
- 10:36Speaker 3: to know what it is, go to our website.
- 10:37Speaker 2: It's up there posted already, johnjayandrich.com.
- 10:40Speaker 3: This world woman have a story to share hit up
- 10:43Speaker 3: john jain rich right now at 1-877-937-1047.
- 10:48Speaker 7: Or text jjr and call me to 96893 morning.
- 10:53Speaker 3: Hey there's something going on i want to bounce this
- 10:54Speaker 3: off you and payton i think you got more information
- 10:56Speaker 3: on this yeah would you quit without giving two weeks
- 10:59Speaker 3: notice apparently younger workers are questioning the traditional two-week notice
- 11:03Speaker 3: is actually necessary especially when companies can fire you without
- 11:07Speaker 3: giving you two weeks lisa what do you think on
- 11:09Speaker 3: this Um.
- 11:11Speaker 12: I am the type of person that.
- 11:13Speaker 15: Actually puts in my.
- 11:14Speaker 12: Two weeks and thankfully no one's ever fired me when
- 11:18Speaker 12: I put my two weeks in just to give them
- 11:21Speaker 12: time to find someone hopefully.
- 11:24Speaker 7: Because that's kind of the thing right people are saying
- 11:26Speaker 7: i know a lot of gen z people i've had
- 11:28Speaker 7: friends that have done this before it's like why would
- 11:30Speaker 7: i put my two weeks in when they don't give
- 11:32Speaker 7: me a two weeks notice if they're gonna fire me
- 11:34Speaker 7: and now i'm out of a job so that's where
- 11:36Speaker 7: people are saying is like do i need to give
- 11:39Speaker 7: that courtesy of giving the two weeks especially if i hate.
- 11:42Speaker 10: This i think it's more along the lines of like
- 11:44Speaker 10: you don't really want to burn bridges in business so Yeah, no,
- 11:48Speaker 10: you don't have to give the two weeks, but if
- 11:51Speaker 10: you are expecting them to ever maybe, I don't know,
- 11:54Speaker 10: give you a reference for another job or if that
- 11:56Speaker 10: person goes into another business and then recognizes you and
- 11:58Speaker 10: you're trying to get a job there, it may reflect
- 12:01Speaker 10: poorly on you.
- 12:01Speaker 2: I see it a little differently.
- 12:03Speaker 3: I don't think it's about, I mean, that's a positive too, but-
- 12:06Speaker 3: I think it's the new company you're going, they're watching
- 12:09Speaker 3: how you quit. So they're going to be like, oh,
- 12:11Speaker 3: you left them, you hung them out to dry. We're
- 12:13Speaker 3: not going to invest too much time in you. We
- 12:14Speaker 3: saw the way you screwed them over. So before I
- 12:17Speaker 3: hire you, that's a big problem. You know what I'm saying?
- 12:19Speaker 7: It's valid, but I find that so... on point kyle
- 12:22Speaker 7: that you said like you don't want to burn bridges
- 12:24Speaker 7: because gen z is like the bridge is already on
- 12:27Speaker 7: fire like this place.
- 12:30Speaker 10: Sucks but you don't know who's working at that sucky
- 12:33Speaker 10: place that is also going oh this place sucks i'm
- 12:36Speaker 10: gonna go over here and start this business and then
- 12:37Speaker 10: you're like i want to work there and they're like
- 12:39Speaker 10: oh no but i remember how you were.
- 12:40Speaker 7: There absolutely valid and i'm on the older end of
- 12:42Speaker 7: gen z i'm 28 i have i have a millennial
- 12:44Speaker 7: sister and so i i have given my two weeks.
- 12:47Speaker 7: Whenever I've quit or quit in a job, I give
- 12:50Speaker 7: my two weeks. But there was one time when I
- 12:51Speaker 7: was working at Topgolf and I told him, I said,
- 12:54Speaker 7: I have my two weeks in, but I also need
- 12:56Speaker 7: this day off. I'm giving it to you a month
- 12:58Speaker 7: in advance. And they refused to give me the day off.
- 13:01Speaker 7: And I was so mad. I was like, I'm not
- 13:03Speaker 7: coming back here anymore. It was my last day of work,
- 13:06Speaker 7: but if it was earlier, I would have left.
- 13:09Speaker 3: You know, what's funny is I, in the chat, two things.
- 13:13Speaker 3: I went to the chat and I said, I said,
- 13:14Speaker 3: is not giving two weeks notice bad. We're having a
- 13:17Speaker 3: debate on the air. And I said, we're having a
- 13:19Speaker 3: debate on the air. So the chat should be, doesn't
- 13:20Speaker 3: think that I plan on quitting. So I had to
- 13:22Speaker 3: be specific that we're going to be on the air.
- 13:24Speaker 2: And it literally said exactly what Kyle just said.
- 13:27Speaker 3: Exactly. Almost word for word, not giving two weeks notice
- 13:30Speaker 3: isn't necessarily wrong, but it can burn a bridge. Yeah. Wow.
- 13:34Speaker 2: So Lisa, you've never given a day notice.
- 13:39Speaker 12: I mean, there was once I quit because I told
- 13:42Speaker 12: them I couldn't work on.
- 13:43Speaker 16: Specific days because I have an internship while I was
- 13:47Speaker 16: in college.
- 13:48Speaker 13: And they told me I had to come in.
- 13:51Speaker 6: I'm like, no.
- 13:52Speaker 17: They're like, well.
- 13:53Speaker 14: I'm going to write you up.
- 13:54Speaker 3: So I'm like, fine.
- 13:55Speaker 5: I quit.
- 13:56Speaker 12: I was actually going to put my two.
- 13:57Speaker 18: Weeks in the next day.
- 13:58Speaker 2: Okay.
- 14:00Speaker 12: Because my internship was giving me like.
- 14:03Speaker 14: Full time after that.
- 14:04Speaker 12: So I decided to quit right there.
- 14:07Speaker 6: Yeah, it's different if they don't want your two weeks.
- 14:10Speaker 6: That's up to the company, too. But you should at
- 14:12Speaker 6: least have the politeness and business to offer.
- 14:15Speaker 7: Especially if like you're really needed at your job. Like
- 14:18Speaker 7: I feel like when you have an important role and
- 14:19Speaker 7: you kind of just like flip the desk and you're like,
- 14:21Speaker 7: I'm done. Then you leave the rest of your team hanging,
- 14:23Speaker 7: which can be a bad look.
- 14:25Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 14:25Speaker 10: Cause a lot of times you might have to train
- 14:26Speaker 10: the next person. Some like, well, the majority of people
- 14:29Speaker 10: around you probably don't know how to do your job.
- 14:31Speaker 2: Has anybody here ever given outside of you paying less
- 14:33Speaker 2: than two weeks?
- 14:34Speaker 8: Yeah, I have.
- 14:35Speaker 10: Just one time and I still kind of feel guilty
- 14:38Speaker 10: about it, but I've, I've talked about this before. I
- 14:39Speaker 10: worked at a restaurant and I asked for the weekend
- 14:42Speaker 10: off to go to Vegas with my girlfriends and they
- 14:43Speaker 10: didn't let me. And then they called me and I said,
- 14:46Speaker 10: just so you know, like I'm out of town this weekend.
- 14:47Speaker 10: And they're like, you're still on the schedule. And they
- 14:50Speaker 10: called me when they scheduled me. And I was like,
- 14:53Speaker 10: literally at the airport. And I was like, I'm at
- 14:55Speaker 10: the airport and I'm not coming in.
- 14:57Speaker 8: And they're like, no show, no job.
- 14:59Speaker 10: And I went, good, then I'm quit. I got to like,
- 15:00Speaker 10: I'm not coming back from the airport to come when
- 15:03Speaker 10: I told you I wasn't coming.
- 15:05Speaker 8: And I still feel kind of bad about that.
- 15:07Speaker 3: No, I've always given two weeks. My first job, second
- 15:09Speaker 3: job was at Carl's Jr. And the guy was such
- 15:12Speaker 3: a jerk.
- 15:12Speaker 2: He's like, I'm a jerk. I know I'm a jerk.
- 15:14Speaker 2: He was using the a-hole word. I'm a big a-hole.
- 15:16Speaker 2: I know I am, but I need to do this
- 15:17Speaker 2: and I need to do that.
- 15:18Speaker 3: And I was like, okay. And I took the box.
- 15:20Speaker 3: I take these boxes out to the trash. I took
- 15:22Speaker 3: them out of the trash and then I walked home.
- 15:25Speaker 3: In my car's junior uniform. I collected my check for $ 49.
- 15:29Speaker 3: That would be a magical place to work.
- 15:32Speaker 2: Lisa, thanks for calling in. Thanks for listening.
- 15:34Speaker 14: Thank you for having me.
- 15:36Speaker 3: You know, I asked Chachapiti all this stuff, and it's
- 15:37Speaker 3: so funny because I said on the air, and I
- 15:39Speaker 3: think he knows what I do for a living. It's
- 15:41Speaker 3: come up with a whole thing. It's like, debate of
- 15:43Speaker 3: the day. Is quitting without two weeks' notice disrespectful, or
- 15:46Speaker 3: do you owe your employer absolutely nothing? Then Chachapiti goes
- 15:50Speaker 3: on to say, my take. If the company treated you well,
- 15:53Speaker 3: give notice when reasonably possible. It's a small professional courtesy
- 15:56Speaker 3: that can protect your reputation, but I wouldn't automatically label
- 15:58Speaker 3: someone a bad person for leaving immediately.
- 16:02Speaker 2: Oh, my God.
- 16:03Speaker 3: One important distinction in Arizona, two weeks notice generally isn't
- 16:06Speaker 3: legally required or for ordinary at will employment. Although a
- 16:10Speaker 3: contract or particular circumstance may change that.
- 16:13Speaker 2: Interesting. Interesting.
- 16:16Speaker 3: Dan.
- 16:17Speaker 11: Yes.
- 16:18Speaker 5: Hello.
- 16:18Speaker 2: Hey, so you got a quitting in less than two
- 16:21Speaker 2: weeks story. Oh yeah.
- 16:23Speaker 5: Quitting in less than like two minutes story.
- 16:25Speaker 11: Oh yeah.
- 16:25Speaker 3: What happened?
- 16:26Speaker 16: So I was working for the sandwich shop. It was
- 16:29Speaker 16: like a mom and pop like cheesesteak place.
- 16:32Speaker 11: Right.
- 16:33Speaker 12: And I made sandwiches.
- 16:36Speaker 5: That's what they trade me on. That's what I knew
- 16:38Speaker 5: how to do. And then it was really busy.
- 16:41Speaker 16: And our fry cook person who made fries didn't show up.
- 16:44Speaker 16: And they're like, hey, yo, can you just jump on fryer?
- 16:47Speaker 16: And I was like, I don't know how to do this.
- 16:49Speaker 5: Like, well, I don't. I could burn myself. Like, what
- 16:53Speaker 5: am I supposed to do?
- 16:54Speaker 12: They're like, just figure it out.
- 16:55Speaker 5: And I was like, OK, so I'm trying my best.
- 16:58Speaker 5: I'm getting like undercooked fries. I'm getting overcooked fries. The
- 17:02Speaker 5: kitchen is. like filling with smoke. And like, they're yelling
- 17:06Speaker 5: at me. They're like, come on, man.
- 17:08Speaker 15: Where's those fries?
- 17:09Speaker 5: Like, hey, I needed these before. Like, what are you doing?
- 17:12Speaker 5: And then at one point, one of my bosses goes,
- 17:14Speaker 5: this is not for you. This is not for you.
- 17:16Speaker 5: And I was like, you're right. It's not. Took off
- 17:18Speaker 5: my apron, dropped it, walked out. Oh, wow.
- 17:22Speaker 7: But you're like, this is literally not my job.
- 17:24Speaker 2: Very similar to my Carl's Jr. story. Very similar. It's
- 17:27Speaker 2: a timeline. It's a trajectory that matches. It's like a
- 17:29Speaker 2: fast food thing.
- 17:30Speaker 7: But that feeling sometimes when you just stand on business
- 17:33Speaker 7: and you're like, I'm out of here. I'm tired of
- 17:35Speaker 7: people treating me like this. And you just leave that
- 17:37Speaker 7: power that you feel when you walk out.
- 17:40Speaker 2: I almost did that yesterday during Minute to Win It.
- 17:44Speaker 6: I don't think I grew up in a generation that
- 17:47Speaker 6: we thought we have an opinion.
- 17:48Speaker 2: On standing on business. You just do what you're told.
- 17:50Speaker 7: Yeah. Things have changed.
- 17:52Speaker 2: Yeah, I guess so. All right, Dan. Thanks for calling in, brother.
- 17:55Speaker 2: Thanks for listening.
- 17:56Speaker 3: Thanks.
- 17:56Speaker 5: Appreciate you.
- 17:59Speaker 19: Guys.
- 18:00Speaker 3: Hey, Nicole. Good morning.
- 18:02Speaker 12: Good morning.
- 18:03Speaker 3: What's going on?
- 18:04Speaker 2: What are you calling for?
- 18:04Speaker 14: I was just hoping I could play a game.
- 18:08Speaker 15: To win Wicked Ball tickets.
- 18:09Speaker 2: No. We're not playing a game here.
- 18:11Speaker 5: What?
- 18:12Speaker 2: What else?
- 18:12Speaker 3: What else do you want to do for Wicked Ball tickets?
- 18:14Speaker 3: Why do you want to go to Wicked Ball?
- 18:16Speaker 5: Uh.
- 18:16Speaker 15: Well, I go every year, and I actually won the group.
- 18:20Speaker 12: I was the Zodiac Signs. I won the group.
- 18:22Speaker 8: Contest a few years ago.
- 18:24Speaker 7: Oh, my gosh.
- 18:27Speaker 12: I have been waiting for them to bring it back,
- 18:29Speaker 12: and they didn't for a few years, I think because they.
- 18:31Speaker 15: Were redoing the ballroom.
- 18:33Speaker 12: So they were bringing it back this year. We're on
- 18:35Speaker 12: the commercial, which is so cool. Like some of my
- 18:37Speaker 12: friends are like, oh, my God.
- 18:38Speaker 15: I recognize your brother and sister.
- 18:39Speaker 12: So it's so neat that like we're on the commercial.
- 18:42Speaker 14: We're like, we're.
- 18:42Speaker 15: Kind of famous.
- 18:44Speaker 2: Oh, that's good. You got to go.
- 18:46Speaker 3: Wicked Ball is Friday night, October 30th. Rich and Kyle
- 18:50Speaker 3: are hosting the whole thing. DJ Nakatsu is going to
- 18:52Speaker 3: be there. You can win your share of $ 15, 000 cash prize.
- 18:56Speaker 3: The biggest party, the biggest Halloween payout. Wicked Ball is
- 18:59Speaker 3: going to be the spot to be this Halloween. Tickets
- 19:01Speaker 3: on sale, Ticketmaster.com. You can win them with us. But
- 19:04Speaker 3: let me ask, do you already know what you're going
- 19:05Speaker 3: to be for Halloween this year?
- 19:06Speaker 15: So Britney Spears toxic, like, airplane dress.
- 19:13Speaker 9: Yeah.
- 19:14Speaker 15: That's, like, not enough to win. But I do have
- 19:17Speaker 15: an Oogie Boogie costume.
- 19:18Speaker 12: That, like, lights up, and it's also homemade, and it has, like,
- 19:23Speaker 12: a bunch of, like, bugs on it.
- 19:24Speaker 14: Like, it's super cute.
- 19:26Speaker 5: Okay.
- 19:26Speaker 12: So I was thinking about, like, wearing that because I
- 19:28Speaker 12: think that's.
- 19:28Speaker 15: A little bit more.
- 19:29Speaker 12: I get a lot of attention when I wear it.
- 19:31Speaker 15: Like, a lot of people want to take pictures of
- 19:32Speaker 15: me and stuff.
- 19:33Speaker 2: Yeah, that'd be real cool.
- 19:34Speaker 12: I feel like, yeah, I feel like that one's, like,
- 19:37Speaker 12: more unique and really neat.
- 19:39Speaker 14: Like, the Britney Spears one.
- 19:40Speaker 11: It's cute, but, like.
- 19:41Speaker 12: Whatever, like it's not, I don't know, it's not interesting.
- 19:44Speaker 3: Okay, let me, Kyle, do you know, you're are you
- 19:47Speaker 3: keeping it a secret until that night that that costume
- 19:49Speaker 3: because i know you do you get all out i
- 19:51Speaker 3: know you're gonna do one for the show you're doing
- 19:53Speaker 3: for your family you know you separate one for wicked
- 19:55Speaker 3: ball yes you are so you don't want to.
- 19:56Speaker 10: Say i would say like if i would call it
- 19:59Speaker 10: something my vision is it's like um sort of like
- 20:04Speaker 10: a monster disco.
- 20:06Speaker 7: She showed me some inspo pics. Kyle's going to look
- 20:09Speaker 7: off the freaky charts.
- 20:10Speaker 3: She has never not done that.
- 20:12Speaker 2: It's going to be so epic.
- 20:15Speaker 8: Let's give Nicole tickets. When you do, you better come
- 20:18Speaker 8: say hi to us.
- 20:20Speaker 2: It should be easy to find, I'm sure. Hold on.
- 20:22Speaker 2: We're going to set up a ticket to Wicked Ball.
- 20:23Speaker 3: They're also available at Ticketmaster.com.
- 20:26Speaker 2: Thanks, Nicole. Thanks for listening.
- 20:27Speaker 20: Thank you.
- 20:28Speaker 14: You guys are so awesome.
- 20:29Speaker 7: I love you.
- 20:30Speaker 3: All right, now let's get into Stacks and Hacks. I
- 20:31Speaker 3: got Stacks information, Rich has life hacks. This is, I
- 20:35Speaker 3: had no idea, and I think this is so interesting.
- 20:37Speaker 3: You know why people cover your mouth and you yawn?
- 20:39Speaker 5: Why?
- 20:40Speaker 3: Why?
- 20:41Speaker 7: Well, I just figured so people don't see the inside
- 20:43Speaker 7: of your uvula. Uvula?
- 20:45Speaker 2: Your what?
- 20:45Speaker 7: Your uvula. That little dangly thing that hangs in the
- 20:50Speaker 7: back of your throat, like Cardi B said.
- 20:51Speaker 8: I always covered it because my little brother would try
- 20:54Speaker 8: to stick his finger in my mouth.
- 20:56Speaker 7: Well.
- 20:57Speaker 3: People covered their mouths back in the day in medieval
- 21:00Speaker 3: Europe because they thought an open mouth allowed your soul
- 21:02Speaker 3: to escape and evil spirits and demons to enter your body.
- 21:06Speaker 2: Very spooky. They should have put a lot on yawning
- 21:08Speaker 2: back then.
- 21:08Speaker 3: Today, the spiritual meanings have faded and it's become a
- 21:11Speaker 3: basic matter. Just like back then, you didn't know anything.
- 21:12Speaker 3: All of a sudden, for some reason, you start to
- 21:14Speaker 3: open your mouth like yawning. You have no control. Evil spirits,
- 21:17Speaker 3: evil spirits.
- 21:18Speaker 2: He's the devil in them.
- 21:21Speaker 3: Anyway, Pringles just announced a spooky contest called Once You Drop.
- 21:25Speaker 3: It offers you the chance to be buried in a
- 21:27Speaker 3: Pringles can urn.
- 21:28Speaker 2: Oh, that's nice.
- 21:30Speaker 3: You got to go sign their, like, a waiver, and
- 21:33Speaker 3: you get this can, and you're a Pringles can, and
- 21:34Speaker 3: they put you in the ashes, and they burn you.
- 21:36Speaker 2: It's fun for Halloween.
- 21:37Speaker 8: Oh, my gosh.
- 21:38Speaker 2: Oh, this is classic.
- 21:40Speaker 3: This is just classic. A woman in New Hampshire went
- 21:44Speaker 3: to urgent care because she was suffering an asthma attack,
- 21:47Speaker 3: and they put her in the room. It was getting
- 21:48Speaker 3: kind of late, and she's waiting. You know you're waiting
- 21:50Speaker 3: there a long time, and then you're kind of like,
- 21:52Speaker 3: I'm going to go let them know I'm here, and
- 21:54Speaker 3: they open the door.
- 21:55Speaker 2: Anyway, they were close. They locked her in. They forgot.
- 21:59Speaker 2: This is her telling the story.
- 22:01Speaker 7: I popped my head out and said, hello, hello.
- 22:05Speaker 9: Very shocking.
- 22:06Speaker 21: Just like, I can't believe this just happened to me.
- 22:08Speaker 21: Because literally when I was thinking in my head, sitting
- 22:11Speaker 21: there at 10 past 8, I was like, they would
- 22:12Speaker 21: never lock me in.
- 22:13Speaker 8: That's crazy talk.
- 22:14Speaker 21: That only happens in movies or on a show. About
- 22:17Speaker 21: 10 past 8, I was like, huh, it's kind of quiet.
- 22:21Speaker 21: I'm not sure what's going on. And then I felt
- 22:24Speaker 21: a little funny because you always feel funny popping out
- 22:26Speaker 21: of the door when you're in a doctor's office. As
- 22:28Speaker 21: soon as I got near the door and pressed the
- 22:30Speaker 21: door immediately and it was so shrill and loud, it
- 22:33Speaker 21: startled me. Maybe let them know and remind them that
- 22:35Speaker 21: you're in the room if you're there near close.
- 22:37Speaker 2: So she had to call 911 and she was rescued.
- 22:39Speaker 3: Oh my gosh.
- 22:41Speaker 2: That would give me heart. I would breathe harder. This
- 22:44Speaker 2: is another thing that's crazy.
- 22:46Speaker 3: A 26-year-old airline passenger was arrested after sneaking through an
- 22:49Speaker 3: access door at an airport, going onto the tarmac, and stealing.
- 22:53Speaker 2: The airport tug.
- 22:55Speaker 8: Why would you do that?
- 22:56Speaker 3: He finally crashed it. This is the radio. This is
- 22:58Speaker 3: the audio with people talking about what happened. But it's like,
- 23:01Speaker 3: you know what I'm talking about? It looks like a
- 23:03Speaker 3: thing that tugs the plane. It's like a huge tractor.
- 23:06Speaker 2: It's freaking nuts. Listen to this.
- 23:07Speaker 11: I mean, I don't know.
- 23:08Speaker 7: That's crazy.
- 23:08Speaker 2: Kind of unexpected in Orange County.
- 23:11Speaker 3: I worry about our security in our airports, not only here,
- 23:14Speaker 3: but everywhere else.
- 23:29Speaker 2: Isn't that crazy?
- 23:29Speaker 7: Security breach is what they said.
- 23:31Speaker 6: Yeah, you can't just get on the tarmac. First of all,
- 23:34Speaker 6: you can't outrun anybody in one of those. So that's
- 23:36Speaker 6: a bad idea.
- 23:37Speaker 2: This is pretty big news.
- 23:39Speaker 3: And the Terminix, the pest people, just released the annual
- 23:42Speaker 3: ranking of America's most rat-infested cities. New York's still number one.
- 23:48Speaker 3: It goes New York, L.A., Philadelphia, San Francisco, Houston, Chicago, D.C., Boston, Dallas, Detroit.
- 23:53Speaker 3: I'm so glad that we are nowhere anywhere near there.
- 23:55Speaker 3: But this is what's really weird. Number 11 on the
- 23:58Speaker 3: list is Hartford, Connecticut. I've never been there. But last year,
- 24:02Speaker 3: it was number 115th. How do you go from 115th
- 24:05Speaker 3: to 11th with rats?
- 24:09Speaker 2: The rats. They had the 11th most rats. But they
- 24:13Speaker 2: were 100.
- 24:13Speaker 3: Like, what the heck happened?
- 24:15Speaker 7: Jeez, that's where UConn is at.
- 24:17Speaker 2: What do you got, Rich?
- 24:18Speaker 6: Somebody left a sandwich in their room. Okay, I think
- 24:21Speaker 6: you guys are going to use this hack for the
- 24:22Speaker 6: rest of your life because I think it's so interesting.
- 24:26Speaker 6: Do you want to know if somebody's actually happy to
- 24:28Speaker 6: see you when you walk.
- 24:29Speaker 3: In the room? Of course.
- 24:30Speaker 6: Well, here's a little body language trick. Watch their eyes,
- 24:34Speaker 6: not their mouth, because many people smile when you walk
- 24:37Speaker 6: into the room.
- 24:38Speaker 7: But.
- 24:39Speaker 6: The corners of their eyes, when they wrinkle, that means
- 24:42Speaker 6: they're really happy. But a polite forced smile, it only
- 24:46Speaker 6: moves the mouth. So it's not a foolproof lie detector,
- 24:50Speaker 6: but you can see somebody smile with their eyes. So
- 24:52Speaker 6: watch their eyes, not their mouth. It's called a Duchenne smile.
- 24:56Speaker 6: That means you smile with your eyes. That means they're
- 24:58Speaker 6: really happy to see you.
- 24:59Speaker 2: I like to shake my butt and run up to them.
- 25:01Speaker 6: Now, Kyle, this won't work if Kyle's in the room because,
- 25:03Speaker 6: you know, she's had enough of the.
- 25:05Speaker 8: I was going to ask, what about for people with Botox?
- 25:07Speaker 6: You can't tell. You just have to guess there. But
- 25:11Speaker 6: for people who aren't as injected, you can see the
- 25:14Speaker 6: smile in the eyes. If you don't see the smile
- 25:15Speaker 6: in the eyes, they're probably just neutral to see you.
- 25:18Speaker 6: That life hack and many more can be found at johnjanerich.com.
- 25:23Speaker 8: I have a question for you guys.
- 25:25Speaker 10: What secret test have you given someone without them even
- 25:28Speaker 10: knowing they were taking it? So I was online and
- 25:32Speaker 10: I saw this piece on psychology today. And it's all
- 25:35Speaker 10: about relationship tests people use instead of just asking for
- 25:38Speaker 10: what they need.
- 25:39Speaker 8: For example. When someone says, I'm fine, they're really not fine.
- 25:44Speaker 8: We know this.
- 25:44Speaker 10: But what it is is a secret test to see
- 25:47Speaker 10: whether or not you realize they're not fine. And if
- 25:50Speaker 10: you do, you get the bonus points. And if you don't,
- 25:52Speaker 10: get ready for the fight.
- 25:53Speaker 21: Right?
- 25:54Speaker 3: That's a tough test. That's a tough, because I'm assuming.
- 25:56Speaker 8: So when they say I'm fine, they're probably not fine.
- 25:58Speaker 3: You're talking about people in your world that you love
- 25:59Speaker 3: and care for, not like if I'm walking, hey, how
- 26:01Speaker 3: you doing?
- 26:01Speaker 11: Fine.
- 26:01Speaker 2: I'm not going to go, wait a minute, sir.
- 26:03Speaker 5: Right.
- 26:04Speaker 22: Exactly.
- 26:04Speaker 2: Yeah, I know. Are you testing me?
- 26:06Speaker 10: These are tests that we, relationship tests. So people, your
- 26:09Speaker 10: friends or your loved ones, if you will. So another
- 26:13Speaker 10: one is saying, don't worry about my birthday and absolutely
- 26:17Speaker 10: worrying about your birthday.
- 26:18Speaker 2: Oh, that's kind of, that's tough. Don't put people in
- 26:21Speaker 2: that position.
- 26:22Speaker 7: Right.
- 26:22Speaker 2: That's too rough.
- 26:23Speaker 10: There are some people in relationships, boyfriend, girlfriend, husband, wife, whatever,
- 26:27Speaker 10: that leave something undone just to see if they notice.
- 26:32Speaker 8: And I feel like.
- 26:32Speaker 10: I've done this before because I don't like the fact
- 26:37Speaker 10: that I cook dinner every night. And it's just this
- 26:40Speaker 10: unspoken thing that apparently that's my responsibility to get dinner
- 26:43Speaker 10: on the table.
- 26:44Speaker 8: And so I kind of like.
- 26:45Speaker 10: Have never really chatted about this, which is my fault
- 26:47Speaker 10: because we know it's communication. But like, I kind of
- 26:50Speaker 10: feel like if I cook dinner and I'm cooking three
- 26:52Speaker 10: different dinners a night, I shouldn't have to do the
- 26:54Speaker 10: dishes too.
- 26:55Speaker 8: I shouldn't have to.
- 26:56Speaker 10: So I will leave them undone just to see if
- 26:59Speaker 10: anyone else in my house does it.
- 27:01Speaker 8: And guess what? They don't.
- 27:04Speaker 3: That's a great test. That is a great test. You
- 27:08Speaker 3: also shouldn't have to make three different dinners every night too.
- 27:10Speaker 8: I know.
- 27:11Speaker 3: I know.
- 27:11Speaker 8: But that's, I just, that's my fault. That's on me.
- 27:14Speaker 8: But every night I do use that as like a,
- 27:16Speaker 8: when I'm like, what would you like to eat? And
- 27:18Speaker 8: the kids say, I don't know.
- 27:19Speaker 10: I'm like, eventually I'm just going to make one thing.
- 27:21Speaker 8: Whatever it is, you have to eat it. But until
- 27:24Speaker 8: then I, yeah, we'll make you just separate dinner.
- 27:25Speaker 10: But there are little tests that you do just to
- 27:28Speaker 10: see if your partners will notice or sort of test them.
- 27:31Speaker 3: Leah, Leah, you got a test, a secret test you
- 27:34Speaker 3: do on people?
- 27:35Speaker 7: I do.
- 27:36Speaker 23: Well, I, I'm one specific guy.
- 27:38Speaker 2: Okay.
- 27:39Speaker 3: What is it?
- 27:41Speaker 23: Well, cause my boyfriend, he kept, well, my ex kept
- 27:44Speaker 23: joking around that if someone offered him money, he'd.
- 27:48Speaker 2: Sell me out.
- 27:49Speaker 23: And then, so I'm like, okay, well, you know, how
- 27:53Speaker 23: steep is his price? And so I had my best
- 27:55Speaker 23: friend call him pretending to be like a producer of
- 27:59Speaker 23: a reality dating show. And she told him that they
- 28:04Speaker 23: would pay $ 10, 000 to come on and explain why he
- 28:07Speaker 23: secretly was unhappy in his relationship.
- 28:10Speaker 13: So he actually agreed.
- 28:11Speaker 23: And apparently he gave them like a 45 minute interview
- 28:15Speaker 23: about my worst habit. I didn't even know were annoying him.
- 28:20Speaker 23: And so then like the producer then asked him if
- 28:24Speaker 23: he'd be willing to pretend to break up.
- 28:25Speaker 15: With me on camera for an extra five.
- 28:28Speaker 13: And he was like, sure.
- 28:29Speaker 2: Oh, my God.
- 28:32Speaker 23: I knew it was going to be bad, but oh
- 28:34Speaker 23: my God.
- 28:35Speaker 2: He's trying to make money for you guys. He's trying to,
- 28:38Speaker 2: you know, fill the coffers with some cash for you.
- 28:41Speaker 2: But he broke up anyway.
- 28:42Speaker 23: I told him, but he was like, where's my money?
- 28:45Speaker 23: And then like, I'm like, surprise.
- 28:46Speaker 22: It was just a test.
- 28:48Speaker 23: He told me that I was like insane and crazy.
- 28:51Speaker 23: And then I was like, oh, please. That's like coming
- 28:54Speaker 23: from someone who was like about to sell us out
- 28:56Speaker 23: for like 15,000.
- 28:57Speaker 13: I mean, come on.
- 28:58Speaker 3: Well, it's a good thing you.
- 28:59Speaker 2: Broke up with him.
- 29:00Speaker 16: Yeah.
- 29:01Speaker 3: That must have brought it on faster. But that's a test,
- 29:04Speaker 3: a very skewed personal test.
- 29:06Speaker 2: You can only do probably one time.
- 29:07Speaker 19: It is true.
- 29:07Speaker 5: Thanks, Lee.
- 29:08Speaker 3: 877-937-1047.
- 29:08Speaker 2: We'll hear about more secret tests.
- 29:20Speaker 3: Kyle has a thing from psychology today about the secret
- 29:22Speaker 3: tests that we give people, right, without knowing. Without telling them.
- 29:26Speaker 3: They don't know they've taken the test, but you give
- 29:28Speaker 3: it to them. And it reminded me, I told you
- 29:29Speaker 3: guys a long time ago, the bird test.
- 29:31Speaker 8: That's right. You did it to all of us.
- 29:33Speaker 16: Yeah.
- 29:34Speaker 3: So the way it works in relationships, if you're married, boyfriend, husband, girlfriend,
- 29:37Speaker 3: you say, oh, look at this bird outside. or check
- 29:39Speaker 3: out this bird and whatever it is about the bird.
- 29:42Speaker 3: The point is they should care enough about what you're
- 29:44Speaker 3: saying to go look at the bird and comment on
- 29:46Speaker 3: the bird. So ever since we've done that test, I
- 29:49Speaker 3: use a different version of the tester. I make sure
- 29:52Speaker 3: I feel like my wife's testing me. She'll talk about
- 29:55Speaker 3: owls or she talks about a car. She talks about
- 29:57Speaker 3: a person's outfit. I go out of my way to
- 29:59Speaker 3: make sure I'm looking at whatever she's talking about. right
- 30:03Speaker 3: because i want to pass the test although i don't
- 30:06Speaker 3: think she's testing me she just thinks you're attentive about
- 30:10Speaker 3: her conversation i'll be like she'll be like oh i
- 30:12Speaker 3: think that owl's in the backyard and i'll be like
- 30:15Speaker 3: i get up that's a reverse secret i better go
- 30:17Speaker 3: look at this freaking owl so i get up and
- 30:19Speaker 3: i walk over there oh yeah it's really great i
- 30:21Speaker 3: go back and i'm like she's not testing me but
- 30:23Speaker 3: um evan you got a secret test you give people.
- 30:26Speaker 4: I do have a secret test.
- 30:27Speaker 2: What's the secret test?
- 30:28Speaker 4: So my girlfriend kept saying that she could always tell
- 30:32Speaker 4: when a guy was lying, so I decided to test her.
- 30:36Speaker 4: I had my buddy create a fake Instagram account for
- 30:38Speaker 4: a woman who was supposed to be working with me,
- 30:44Speaker 4: and she started messaging my girlfriend claiming we'd been secretly
- 30:48Speaker 4: dating for months. I expected my girlfriend to, like, laugh
- 30:53Speaker 4: and tell me about it. But instead, she invited this
- 30:55Speaker 4: fake woman to our apartment for coffee so she could, quote,
- 30:59Speaker 4: hear her side.
- 31:01Speaker 2: Why is that bad on her?
- 31:03Speaker 8: I know. I'm like, well, she wanted to get the
- 31:05Speaker 8: full story.
- 31:06Speaker 2: She wanted the info.
- 31:08Speaker 8: That's as your test backfired, I feel like.
- 31:10Speaker 6: Yeah, she believed that somebody was telling the truth and
- 31:12Speaker 6: she just wanted to further investigate it.
- 31:14Speaker 4: And so my buddy shows up in a wig, okay?
- 31:20Speaker 4: You know, we make sure he's passable and everything. And
- 31:23Speaker 4: my girlfriend spent two hours interrogating him before he cracked
- 31:27Speaker 4: and admitted everything. The crazy part is that.
- 31:32Speaker 5: She then turned to me.
- 31:35Speaker 4: And said, now I know you're capable of cheating because
- 31:37Speaker 4: you were willing to set this up.
- 31:40Speaker 3: What?
- 31:40Speaker 2: Did you guys stay together?
- 31:43Speaker 4: I mean, I've been sleeping on the couch, but yeah,
- 31:46Speaker 4: we're still together. She just.
- 31:48Speaker 12: And your friend?
- 31:49Speaker 4: This was recently.
- 31:50Speaker 2: Passed himself off for two hours?
- 31:52Speaker 6: Hopefully I can regain bed rights soon enough.
- 31:54Speaker 7: Must have had a baby face.
- 31:55Speaker 8: Yeah.
- 31:56Speaker 10: When you started describing this, I was like, this is
- 31:58Speaker 10: a dangerous test to do.
- 32:00Speaker 3: It is. You know what test has been ruined because
- 32:03Speaker 3: of technology, Evan? If you guys think about it, this
- 32:04Speaker 3: is a test that people used to do all the time. Guys,
- 32:07Speaker 3: especially young girls, but you can't do anymore. Because of
- 32:10Speaker 3: the remote door unlocker.
- 32:12Speaker 7: Beep, beep.
- 32:13Speaker 3: Because the test used to be you open the car
- 32:15Speaker 3: door for the girl. The girl gets in the car. Oh, yeah.
- 32:17Speaker 2: And then she's supposed to lean over and unlock your door.
- 32:20Speaker 24: Oh.
- 32:20Speaker 2: Before, that was a big test. Don't have to do
- 32:22Speaker 2: that anymore.
- 32:22Speaker 3: Of dating.
- 32:23Speaker 2: Now, yeah.
- 32:24Speaker 8: The door's already unlocked.
- 32:25Speaker 9: Right.
- 32:26Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 32:26Speaker 9: Yeah.
- 32:26Speaker 2: All right, brother.
- 32:27Speaker 3: Hey, thanks for calling in, man. Very crazy test. I
- 32:30Speaker 3: know I used to do a whole bunch of them.
- 32:31Speaker 3: My wife, she passed them all. I just don't remember
- 32:33Speaker 3: what they are, but they're all very like, I'd be like, Oh,
- 32:35Speaker 3: she did that. Or like if she goes and gets,
- 32:38Speaker 3: goes to a Starbucks or something, she always get me
- 32:40Speaker 3: something or she goes to the grocery. You know how
- 32:42Speaker 3: when you go to the grocery store, do you ever
- 32:42Speaker 3: call your husband and you'd be like, Hey, what do
- 32:44Speaker 3: you need? I'm going to the grocery store.
- 32:45Speaker 9: Right.
- 32:47Speaker 2: She doesn't do that because she knows she gets what
- 32:49Speaker 2: I want. You want the same thing. You want grapes.
- 32:51Speaker 11: I know.
- 32:52Speaker 2: I can tell you that. I don't need to call
- 32:53Speaker 2: you for grapes.
- 32:54Speaker 3: I feel like my wife's testing me all the time,
- 32:56Speaker 3: and I pass because.
- 32:59Speaker 2: But she's not testing me.
- 33:00Speaker 8: Because she's not actually testing you.
- 33:01Speaker 3: I think everything's a test.
- 33:02Speaker 18: I know.
- 33:03Speaker 7: Anyway.
- 33:04Speaker 2: Juan, what's up?
- 33:06Speaker 18: Well, I normally would text the person first every time,
- 33:10Speaker 18: like inviting them to dinner or movies or plays or
- 33:15Speaker 18: events or whatever. And then I decided, oh, yeah, I
- 33:18Speaker 18: always send the one... Sending the first text and inviting...
- 33:23Speaker 18: Let's see if they're going to text me first and
- 33:25Speaker 18: invite me somewhere they never did. And it's been like
- 33:28Speaker 18: 10 years.
- 33:29Speaker 7: Whoa.
- 33:33Speaker 2: Holden now got you no invites.
- 33:36Speaker 21: Yeah.
- 33:36Speaker 2: That's sad.
- 33:37Speaker 8: That is sad.
- 33:38Speaker 9: I know.
- 33:39Speaker 8: So do you feel like that's a test fail or
- 33:41Speaker 8: a test success?
- 33:43Speaker 18: Actually, it's a success for me.
- 33:44Speaker 2: Did you have to go anywhere?
- 33:47Speaker 9: Right.
- 33:48Speaker 2: You don't have to make plans? That would be so sad. Yeah,
- 33:51Speaker 2: I don't have to.
- 33:52Speaker 18: Make plans and But, I mean, yeah, it kind of
- 33:55Speaker 18: makes me sad because, I mean, me and I liked her,
- 33:58Speaker 18: but apparently not the other way around.
- 34:01Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 34:02Speaker 2: Juan, thanks for listening, man. Thanks for calling in. 877-937-1047.
- 34:05Speaker 3: Secret tests that you pull on people. Share with us.
- 34:08Speaker 3: John Dean Rich.
- 34:20Speaker 2: Hey, my show sheet says Thursday. It's Friday today, isn't it?
- 34:23Speaker 5: Woo!
- 34:24Speaker 3: All day.
- 34:25Speaker 2: That's a typo, Nick. Demerit.
- 34:28Speaker 3: Unless we went back in time. It's Friday, October 16th, 2026.
- 34:32Speaker 3: It's John Jay and Rich. Call us at 877-937-1047. By
- 34:34Speaker 3: the way, I went to go see Ella Langley Wednesday
- 34:42Speaker 3: night in Los Angeles.
- 34:43Speaker 8: Are you now an Ellis fella?
- 34:44Speaker 2: I am. How was the show?
- 34:47Speaker 3: She is amazing. and I only knew, I listened to
- 34:52Speaker 3: a bunch of her albums before I went, or a
- 34:53Speaker 3: bunch of her music before I went to the concert,
- 34:55Speaker 3: so I knew, obviously, Choosing Texas pretty well, but a
- 34:58Speaker 3: bunch of her other songs, so it's now sounded familiar,
- 35:00Speaker 3: and I was pretty close to her, watching her, and
- 35:03Speaker 3: she's amazing, and then I had this, like, this, like,
- 35:06Speaker 3: debate in my head, just for fun, okay? I made
- 35:09Speaker 3: a comparison. You know how they say comparison is a
- 35:11Speaker 3: thief of joy or something like that, right? Comparison's bad.
- 35:14Speaker 8: I've never heard that before, but that makes sense.
- 35:15Speaker 3: You don't want to compare stuff, but I had fun comparing,
- 35:18Speaker 3: because I was comparing Her and Taylor Swift. Because to me,
- 35:23Speaker 3: she's incredible. Taylor Swift is incredible, too. So here's how
- 35:27Speaker 3: I compared them. I think Ella Langley is to Taylor
- 35:32Speaker 3: Swift what Prince is to Michael Jackson. That's how I
- 35:37Speaker 3: compared it. Whoa.
- 35:38Speaker 11: I know.
- 35:38Speaker 2: Because Michael Jackson, biggest thing in the world. Taylor Swift,
- 35:42Speaker 2: biggest thing.
- 35:42Speaker 3: In the world.
- 35:43Speaker 7: Prince.
- 35:44Speaker 3: Huge, but mad respect for musicians and mad respect for
- 35:48Speaker 3: the songwriting and lyrics and all that stuff, right?
- 35:50Speaker 2: He's my guy. And Ella Langley, holy smoke, has she
- 35:54Speaker 2: been through it.
- 35:54Speaker 7: But I feel like we haven't heard of Ella Langley enough.
- 36:00Speaker 2: You haven't.
- 36:01Speaker 7: I haven't.
- 36:01Speaker 8: You know what's funny?
- 36:03Speaker 5: Right.
- 36:03Speaker 8: Which is kind of proving my point.
- 36:04Speaker 7: You need another album.
- 36:05Speaker 2: I feel like she needs to be.
- 36:06Speaker 7: Around for a little bit longer and keep riding this
- 36:09Speaker 7: wave that she's on.
- 36:10Speaker 2: Well, she's been around for a minute.
- 36:11Speaker 5: She just had a hit now.
- 36:12Speaker 10: In the country world, she has. So I think she's
- 36:14Speaker 10: just recently transitioned to mainstream. And I actually had last
- 36:17Speaker 10: night in the car with my husband, we were talking
- 36:19Speaker 10: about I really hope it's Miley Cyrus for the Superbowl
- 36:22Speaker 10: halftime show. And I'm like, so confused why we don't
- 36:25Speaker 10: have the announcement just yet. And he's like, I like
- 36:29Speaker 10: Miley can't do it. And I was like, what are
- 36:31Speaker 10: you talking about? He's like, like, what songs does Miley have?
- 36:33Speaker 8: I'm like, Oh my gosh. I was like party in
- 36:35Speaker 8: the USA.
- 36:36Speaker 10: He's like, that's it. I'm like, no, I was like
- 36:38Speaker 10: wrecking ball, the entire bangers album.
- 36:40Speaker 8: Like she could go on and like so much more
- 36:43Speaker 8: than that. But then he said Ella Langley.
- 36:45Speaker 10: And I said, I don't think Ella Langley has the
- 36:48Speaker 10: library yet. That is mass appeal enough. Because at this
- 36:53Speaker 10: point in the country world, yes, she has been around.
- 36:56Speaker 10: But like for the rest, for everyone else, Choosing Texas
- 36:59Speaker 10: is kind of.
- 37:00Speaker 2: It so far.
- 37:01Speaker 3: Well, she had a couple other songs that came out
- 37:04Speaker 3: and they made it all the way to number two
- 37:05Speaker 3: on Billboard and they couldn't make it to number one
- 37:06Speaker 3: because of Choosing Texas.
- 37:07Speaker 2: Because it was like, hold on.
- 37:09Speaker 3: I went on a deep dive on her and I
- 37:11Speaker 3: started watching YouTube videos on her. I watched a whole
- 37:14Speaker 3: interview with her and Theo Vaughn after I watched. It's like,
- 37:16Speaker 3: she's fantastic. She's something else, man. But when you talk
- 37:19Speaker 3: about the Prince thing, but Peyton, Prince has been around
- 37:21Speaker 3: for 40 years. And so he was 40 years from now.
- 37:25Speaker 7: Yeah, I would love to see if this would still
- 37:27Speaker 7: hold up.
- 37:27Speaker 3: Plus, you think about people know Prince because of Purple Rain.
- 37:30Speaker 3: People are going to know her because of Dandelion. That's
- 37:32Speaker 3: her Purple Rain. I'm telling you guys, I know what
- 37:35Speaker 3: I'm talking about.
- 37:36Speaker 2: I know music. There's one thing I know is music
- 37:38Speaker 2: and hit songs.
- 37:39Speaker 6: And I think really for Ella Langle, she's made country
- 37:43Speaker 6: songs so mainstream that other country bands are going to
- 37:45Speaker 6: come up and be popular because of her, which is big, too.
- 37:48Speaker 6: That's a Taylor Swift effect, too. So she's got some
- 37:51Speaker 6: juice on her. And they haven't done a country Super.
- 37:53Speaker 2: Bowl in a long time. Have they ever done a
- 37:55Speaker 2: country Super Bowl? Not that I can think of.
- 37:56Speaker 6: But if you did, like, let's say Morgan Wallen and
- 37:58Speaker 6: Ella Langley, who have a song together, is a Super
- 38:01Speaker 6: Bowl halftime show.
- 38:02Speaker 2: Pretty big. Pretty America. She has a song with Big
- 38:04Speaker 2: X to plug.
- 38:06Speaker 7: That's awesome. I know. I mean, he's just a rapper.
- 38:08Speaker 8: He's a rapper.
- 38:09Speaker 7: But like, I mean, I think that's great. I love
- 38:11Speaker 7: it when artists and she is hot right now. There
- 38:13Speaker 7: is no denying that. But I am excited to see
- 38:16Speaker 7: how long it lasts.
- 38:17Speaker 3: Why have they not done a Super Bowl?
- 38:19Speaker 7: Are you sure? It would be all over the place.
- 38:24Speaker 2: I just paused for a second.
- 38:25Speaker 3: I said, are you sure, comma, that this is the
- 38:28Speaker 3: time frame where they let us know who the Super
- 38:30Speaker 3: Bowl artist is?
- 38:30Speaker 8: Yeah, like very, very much so. It's always been end
- 38:33Speaker 8: of September through mid-October.
- 38:36Speaker 2: So that would be like any day now.
- 38:38Speaker 6: Because whoever that is has to get ready for a
- 38:40Speaker 6: show that's the biggest show in the history of the
- 38:43Speaker 6: world in about a month and a half, two months.
- 38:45Speaker 10: And just because we don't know doesn't mean they haven't
- 38:47Speaker 10: chosen it yet.
- 38:48Speaker 8: They just haven't made the announcement.
- 38:50Speaker 3: Plus, if you think about it, when you say that
- 38:51Speaker 3: you don't know if they'll have the library long enough,
- 38:53Speaker 3: it's usually a 14-minute break.
- 38:55Speaker 2: So she could do Choose in Texas twice.
- 38:59Speaker 8: That would be a first.
- 39:02Speaker 2: Lauren, what's up? You're on the air. Good morning.
- 39:04Speaker 14: Hi, good morning. Yeah, so I love your guys' topic
- 39:06Speaker 14: in regards to Ella Langley. I was just talking to
- 39:08Speaker 14: my coworker about this. I think the NFL... This would
- 39:11Speaker 14: be such a great idea if they did have Ella
- 39:13Speaker 14: Langley maybe not be the main performer or maybe like
- 39:16Speaker 14: just a guest performer. But, you know, with so much
- 39:19Speaker 14: controversy last year in regards to country needs to be,
- 39:22Speaker 14: you know, in the halftime show. She is such a
- 39:26Speaker 14: good actor right now because she's pulling so many people
- 39:28Speaker 14: that don't listen to country.
- 39:29Speaker 24: Yeah.
- 39:30Speaker 5: Into country.
- 39:31Speaker 14: Like, I'm hearing her on, like, hip-hop radio station, you know?
- 39:35Speaker 9: Yeah.
- 39:35Speaker 24: Yeah.
- 39:35Speaker 10: So I just looked it up and they said apparently
- 39:37Speaker 10: the only fully country themed halftime show was in 1994.
- 39:42Speaker 10: And they actually titled it Rockin' Country Sunday. And it
- 39:45Speaker 10: was Clint Black, Tonya Tucker, Travis Tritt and the Judds.
- 39:49Speaker 5: I mean.
- 39:49Speaker 10: And then in 2003, Shania Twain co-headlined that with No
- 39:54Speaker 10: Doubt and Sting.
- 39:55Speaker 2: My wife made comparisons of Ella Langley to Shania Twain.
- 39:58Speaker 2: I can see that.
- 39:59Speaker 14: Honestly, I really didn't even listen to country until recently
- 40:03Speaker 14: and now I'm just, I'm sold. Now I'm learning about
- 40:05Speaker 14: Morgan Wallen and I'm just saying that she would probably convert.
- 40:09Speaker 12: A lot of people to country because it's phenomenal music
- 40:12Speaker 12: now that I'm learning more about it.
- 40:13Speaker 6: The only reason I think they won't this time is
- 40:15Speaker 6: because it's in LA. If it was a Nashville Superbowl,
- 40:17Speaker 6: For sure. They would go all country.
- 40:19Speaker 2: I saw Ella Langley in LA.
- 40:20Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 40:21Speaker 2: And it sold out too. Two shows sold out. Doesn't
- 40:23Speaker 2: surprise me.
- 40:24Speaker 18: Thanks, Lauren.
- 40:24Speaker 2: Thanks for listening.
- 40:25Speaker 14: Maybe not like the main headliner, but if she was
- 40:28Speaker 14: even just do a small skit in it, I bet
- 40:29Speaker 14: she's so smart for the NFL just to bring everybody together,
- 40:32Speaker 14: you know? So that's just my opinion.
- 40:34Speaker 10: I like when they do, when they like, they did
- 40:37Speaker 10: that rock and country and it was a bunch of
- 40:39Speaker 10: different artists. I like when they do like an ensemble
- 40:41Speaker 10: of artists. I think then everyone gets.
- 40:43Speaker 8: A little, a little something.
- 40:44Speaker 6: Yeah, they have what the Chili Peppers and Bruno Mars
- 40:46Speaker 6: and Beyonce and stuff like that.
- 40:47Speaker 2: It was kind of cool. I like that because then
- 40:48Speaker 2: you get good memes.
- 40:50Speaker 3: Like Chris Martin meme from that Super Bowl montage. He
- 40:53Speaker 3: looked like he didn't belong.
- 40:56Speaker 2: Lauren, thanks for calling in. Lauren, thank you for listening.
- 40:58Speaker 14: Thank you.
- 40:58Speaker 13: Have a great day.
- 40:59Speaker 16: Bye.
- 40:59Speaker 3: By the way, Ella Langley, again, her Dandelion album, the
- 41:03Speaker 3: newest album, every song on that album is fantastic. Every song.
- 41:07Speaker 3: You know how you listen to some of your favorite artists,
- 41:08Speaker 3: you're like, oh, there's one good song on this album,
- 41:10Speaker 3: and there's two. Every freaking song on her album is great. So, again,
- 41:14Speaker 3: I know music.
- 41:16Speaker 8: Where's your merch? I thought you were coming in with
- 41:18Speaker 8: Ella Langley merch today.
- 41:20Speaker 3: I was going to, you know, and then I realized
- 41:21Speaker 3: that the last time I bought, I bought like a
- 41:23Speaker 3: Drake shirt, and I realized, and I never wear it,
- 41:27Speaker 3: During the Drake show, which by the way, didn't Drake
- 41:29Speaker 3: just do something with Ella Langley, a cover of it?
- 41:30Speaker 2: Well, he just.
- 41:32Speaker 7: Did like a remix to Cheese in Texas. It was
- 41:34Speaker 7: him and Don Toliver, I think.
- 41:35Speaker 3: So I bought a Drake t-shirt and I never wear it.
- 41:38Speaker 3: And I realized concert merch most of the time is
- 41:41Speaker 3: like different quality.
- 41:44Speaker 2: Lots of words.
- 41:45Speaker 3: So there I was like, I was going to do it.
- 41:47Speaker 3: And then honestly, the booth was a little too far
- 41:50Speaker 3: away for me when I was leaving. Cause I didn't
- 41:51Speaker 3: want to do it on the way in. I was
- 41:53Speaker 3: going to do it on the way out. And while
- 41:54Speaker 3: I was on the way out waiting for the Uber,
- 41:56Speaker 3: I was standing there. I was like, there should be
- 41:57Speaker 3: selling merch right here, right now. I would buy something
- 42:00Speaker 3: if it was right here. But it was a little
- 42:02Speaker 3: off and there were so many people leaving that I
- 42:04Speaker 3: didn't want to get lost from my group. So I
- 42:05Speaker 3: didn't go. Fair enough. You were choosing Uber. We need
- 42:10Speaker 3: a contestant for a minute to win it. 877-937-1047. But
- 42:14Speaker 3: I've got to tell you this, though. We were talking
- 42:17Speaker 3: about stressful hobbies the other day. And one of the
- 42:20Speaker 3: stressful hobbies was like raising chickens.
- 42:24Speaker 5: Right.
- 42:24Speaker 3: And Dylan, her family raises chickens. So I was with
- 42:27Speaker 3: some people this weekend that just blew my mind. They
- 42:30Speaker 3: have two little kids and they decided to get some chickens.
- 42:34Speaker 3: So this must be the trend, too, because I think
- 42:35Speaker 3: Dylan said this, too. So they had they built a
- 42:38Speaker 3: chicken coop in the backyard that looks just like their house.
- 42:40Speaker 2: That's like the thing.
- 42:41Speaker 5: Right.
- 42:41Speaker 3: You get a coop that looks like a house and
- 42:44Speaker 3: then you buy these chickens, baby chicks, and they send
- 42:46Speaker 3: them to you.
- 42:47Speaker 2: Like in a little box. So you get the little chicks.
- 42:50Speaker 2: Like in the mail?
- 42:51Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 42:52Speaker 2: Really?
- 42:52Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 42:53Speaker 3: And they're like alive, like a box. And you open
- 42:55Speaker 3: it up and there's a chicken in there. And so
- 42:57Speaker 3: they got four chicks. And one of the chicks arrived.
- 43:01Speaker 3: Now keep in mind, what are these, a couple days old?
- 43:04Speaker 3: One of the chicks arrived with a broken leg. Oh,
- 43:06Speaker 3: poor baby.
- 43:07Speaker 2: Poor baby.
- 43:09Speaker 3: So I would be like, I don't know what really
- 43:11Speaker 3: to do with this chick. They took the chick to
- 43:13Speaker 3: the vet. So they took like a five-day-old chick.
- 43:16Speaker 2: To the vet.
- 43:16Speaker 3: Put in a cast?
- 43:17Speaker 2: 600 bucks, put it in a cast.
- 43:19Speaker 7: Oh my gosh.
- 43:20Speaker 2: I have a picture.
- 43:20Speaker 3: I said, I need this picture. I have a picture
- 43:22Speaker 3: of a baby chick with a cast.
- 43:24Speaker 2: It is the weirdest thing.
- 43:26Speaker 3: And it's one of those things where you sit there
- 43:28Speaker 3: and you kind of go, I mean, I'm not, I
- 43:30Speaker 3: would never put the chick down.
- 43:31Speaker 2: I wouldn't know how to do that.
- 43:32Speaker 3: Right.
- 43:32Speaker 2: But to take it $ 600, the chick costs five bucks.
- 43:37Speaker 8: That's a major.
- 43:38Speaker 3: You can go to a feed store and Gilbert probably
- 43:39Speaker 3: get it for 50 cents, but I'm sure you gotta
- 43:42Speaker 3: be certain kind of chick. But I was like, that
- 43:44Speaker 3: is one of the craziest things when you, I understand
- 43:47Speaker 3: once you open the box and you got the chick
- 43:49Speaker 3: and you got your little kids looking at the chick
- 43:51Speaker 3: and they're playing with.
- 43:51Speaker 8: It and it's a beautiful chick, you just can't go.
- 43:52Speaker 8: And now it's part of your family.
- 43:53Speaker 2: You just can't let it go in the backyard and
- 43:55Speaker 2: let a coyote get it.
- 43:56Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 43:56Speaker 2: But now you got to go spend 600 bucks and
- 43:58Speaker 2: put the chick in a cast. What a trip. I'll
- 44:01Speaker 2: post the picture in a little bit.
- 44:02Speaker 8: But how cute, like a little tiny chick cast. I'm
- 44:05Speaker 8: sure it is adorable.
- 44:06Speaker 3: Plus, I think that we all think of chickens like
- 44:09Speaker 3: the chickens we know, chickens that they eat, but there's
- 44:11Speaker 3: a different kind of chicken.
- 44:12Speaker 2: They're an egg-laying chicken, right? Is that what they are?
- 44:15Speaker 2: I'm the chicken expert on my shirt. You brought it up.
- 44:19Speaker 10: Wait, so like the different kind of chickens that you're
- 44:21Speaker 10: talking about, are they like bigger or smaller?
- 44:23Speaker 3: Well, I look at a picture of the chick that
- 44:25Speaker 3: they sent me. It's like a little brown chick. It's
- 44:27Speaker 3: not brown. It's like a, I don't know what kind
- 44:30Speaker 3: of chicken it is. But let me see. Let me see.
- 44:32Speaker 2: Here we go.
- 44:32Speaker 3: Hey, Dylan, your chickens, they're just not normal chickens, right?
- 44:35Speaker 3: Like the kind we eat.
- 44:42Speaker 17: Yeah, they're normal. I mean, you could eat them. They're
- 44:44Speaker 17: more like for laying.
- 44:47Speaker 3: Right.
- 44:47Speaker 2: But do they look like normal chickens?
- 44:48Speaker 17: Yeah, they look normal.
- 44:50Speaker 2: They're like a normal chicken.
- 44:52Speaker 3: You see cock-a-doodle-doo doing around it.
- 44:53Speaker 17: Well, they don't cock-a-doodle-doo. That would be the rooster. But
- 44:56Speaker 17: they are, and they look normal. And we got them
- 44:59Speaker 17: from a man. They're like one day old, little puff balls.
- 45:06Speaker 3: Would you take them to the vet if they were sick?
- 45:08Speaker 8: Uh-huh.
- 45:09Speaker 17: Yeah, we did have one, actually, that was having a
- 45:11Speaker 17: little bit of a health scare, and it was Audrey.
- 45:13Speaker 17: And there is a chicken vet. It's actually very expensive
- 45:17Speaker 17: to get a chicken looked at at the vet, which
- 45:19Speaker 17: is crazy.
- 45:19Speaker 2: I bet.
- 45:20Speaker 3: I'm on a text exchange called Ellis Fellas.
- 45:25Speaker 8: Scott on there?
- 45:27Speaker 3: No, because we all went to that concert together. Anyway,
- 45:29Speaker 3: we're going to play Minute to Minute. Oh, look, here's
- 45:32Speaker 3: the chick with the broken leg. Can you see the cast?
- 45:36Speaker 2: Yeah, that'd be hard to sign, that cast. I know,
- 45:39Speaker 2: I know.
- 45:40Speaker 10: That looks like literally like tape and some styrofoam.
- 45:43Speaker 2: The vet was probably like, how do I make a cast?
- 45:45Speaker 16: I know.
- 45:46Speaker 8: And the vet was like, that'll be $ 600.
- 45:48Speaker 2: Anyway, okay, minute to window. Let's see. Kristen, good morning.
- 45:54Speaker 14: Good morning.
- 45:55Speaker 2: We're about to you right now. What part of town?
- 45:59Speaker 18: I'm in Phoenix.
- 46:00Speaker 2: Tell us a fun fact about you, Kristen.
- 46:02Speaker 9: A fun fact?
- 46:05Speaker 3: A fun.
- 46:11Speaker 10: Fact.
- 46:11Speaker 20: Oh, I just signed up to do the High Rocks
- 46:15Speaker 20: for my birthday.
- 46:16Speaker 3: Oh, wow.
- 46:17Speaker 18: In February, yes.
- 46:19Speaker 20: It's like a fitness race type thing, so.
- 46:24Speaker 2: That's crazy.
- 46:25Speaker 3: Are you in shape already, or now are you stressed
- 46:27Speaker 3: that you have to get in shape for that in February?
- 46:30Speaker 9: Let's say we're halfway there.
- 46:32Speaker 3: That's good.
- 46:33Speaker 8: That's a good start.
- 46:34Speaker 3: That's a crazy event, I think. But okay, let's go.
- 46:37Speaker 3: Hopefully you get $ 1, 000 of Patty Hickey's money.
- 46:38Speaker 10: John Jay and Rich have $ 1, 000 cash for you from
- 46:41Speaker 10: Peoria Ford right now.
- 46:43Speaker 3: Minute to win it.
- 46:44Speaker 6: Okay, Kristen, here we go. 10 seconds. Sorry, not 10 seconds.
- 46:48Speaker 6: 60 seconds, 10 questions. You rock these and you get $ 1, 000.
- 46:53Speaker 2: I believe in you. Let's go.
- 46:55Speaker 6: What vitamin are oranges especially known for containing?
- 47:00Speaker 9: Vitamin C.
- 47:02Speaker 6: What vegetable is most commonly used to make dill pickles?
- 47:07Speaker 17: Cucumber.
- 47:08Speaker 2: What body part contains most of your taste buds?
- 47:13Speaker 19: Your tongue.
- 47:14Speaker 2: A tadpole can grow into what amphibian that croaks?
- 47:19Speaker 13: A frog.
- 47:21Speaker 6: What rapper had a record-breaking number one hit with Old
- 47:24Speaker 6: Town Road?
- 47:27Speaker 4: Oh, shoot.
- 47:28Speaker 22: I know this one.
- 47:30Speaker 23: Um, Taboosia?
- 47:32Speaker 4: No.
- 47:33Speaker 25: Ooh.
- 47:33Speaker 3: Oh, no.
- 47:38Speaker 2: Lil Nas X.
- 47:40Speaker 23: Oh, wait, is it?
- 47:43Speaker 9: Are we allowed to skip?
- 47:44Speaker 23: We can't skip, sorry.
- 47:45Speaker 2: You cannot skip, but you're already out of time, and
- 47:47Speaker 2: you got it wrong.
- 47:48Speaker 3: So we're going to set you up, though, with Del
- 47:49Speaker 3: Taco gift card, Kristen, which is perfect for training for Hydrox.
- 47:53Speaker 2: That little extra boost.
- 47:54Speaker 12: We need a cheat day.
- 47:59Speaker 7: That's hilarious.
- 48:00Speaker 20: Thank you, guys.
- 48:00Speaker 8: That was awesome.
- 48:01Speaker 2: Thanks, Kristen. Hold on a second.
- 48:03Speaker 3: Someone just texted, said, when I was talking about the chicken,
- 48:05Speaker 3: my baby chick with the broken leg, said, that's.
- 48:08Speaker 2: How you get chicken nuggets. I posted on my Instagram,
- 48:13Speaker 2: John J. Van S.
- 48:14Speaker 3: the baby chick with the cast, so you can see it.
- 48:18Speaker 3: Got a text this morning and asked her to come
- 48:22Speaker 3: on the air. She's going to tell us a story,
- 48:25Speaker 3: but I also think it's a great idea to get into.
- 48:27Speaker 7: Amy.
- 48:27Speaker 2: Amy. Good morning. What was your text about?
- 48:29Speaker 7: Hi, guys.
- 48:29Speaker 3: Hi, good morning.
- 48:30Speaker 13: Good morning. First world problems.
- 48:33Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 48:34Speaker 13: So I am so blessed. My daughter's a hairdresser, and
- 48:38Speaker 13: I get a wash and blowout every three to four days,
- 48:41Speaker 13: and she is out of town, which leads me to
- 48:43Speaker 13: my first world problem. I had to wash my own hair.
- 48:46Speaker 13: I had to use my husband's basic shampoo. I have
- 48:51Speaker 13: no product. I had to comb my hair and put
- 48:53Speaker 13: it in a braid, and it's awful.
- 48:57Speaker 2: I had to wash my own hair. That's her first
- 48:59Speaker 2: world problem. There it is.
- 49:04Speaker 8: How long is your daughter out of town for?
- 49:06Speaker 13: She's back on Sunday, so Monday, hopefully, I'll be back.
- 49:12Speaker 2: Do you want to hide out until then? You can't
- 49:13Speaker 2: just stay inside.
- 49:14Speaker 8: Just put a hat on.
- 49:16Speaker 13: I mean, it's in a bun, you know, when you
- 49:18Speaker 13: have bad hair days, it in a braid or a bun. So, unfortunately,
- 49:22Speaker 13: that will be me for the next couple of days.
- 49:24Speaker 3: All right, so we should do a quick round of
- 49:27Speaker 3: your first world problem.
- 49:28Speaker 2: That's funny.
- 49:28Speaker 3: Amy, because your daughter is a hairdresser, she's out of town,
- 49:31Speaker 3: you have to do your own hair.
- 49:33Speaker 2: First world problem.
- 49:34Speaker 9: Yes.
- 49:35Speaker 2: All right, thanks, Amy. We're going to kick it off.
- 49:37Speaker 21: 877-937-1047.
- 49:40Speaker 2: What are some of the other prizes we have to
- 49:41Speaker 2: give away? Uh, stay fair.
- 49:42Speaker 3: What do we got?
- 49:43Speaker 2: Yeah, we got wicked ball.
- 49:44Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 49:44Speaker 9: Yeah.
- 49:45Speaker 2: Wicked ball tickets.
- 49:45Speaker 3: We've got, uh, tickets to the fastball comedy festival.
- 49:47Speaker 2: Oh, with Dave Chappelle. Let's hear about your first world problem.
- 49:49Speaker 24: 877-937-1047.
- 49:49Speaker 2: I have one right now.
- 49:51Speaker 5: Oh, what is it? Crazy.
- 49:51Speaker 2: Mine's first world and unrelatable. Um, I'm currently driving a Ferrari.
- 50:13Speaker 3: I drove a Ferrari in this morning. So we had
- 50:15Speaker 3: this big charity event tomorrow. It's called cars and canines.
- 50:17Speaker 3: It's tomorrow morning at 8am. It's a deep pet hotel
- 50:19Speaker 3: in Scottsdale. There's going to be Ferraris, Lamborghinis, all kinds
- 50:22Speaker 3: of like Rolls Royces and a bunch of dog. I
- 50:24Speaker 3: think there's 12 dog rescues will be set up and
- 50:26Speaker 3: it's beautiful. Weather's going to be great. It's gonna be
- 50:28Speaker 3: a great event. And so they put me in a
- 50:30Speaker 3: fancy car. To help promote the event. Right.
- 50:34Speaker 2: So I was in a Rolls Royce.
- 50:35Speaker 3: Yesterday and I went, I dropped it off and I
- 50:37Speaker 3: picked up this Ferrari today, which is, I barely fit
- 50:39Speaker 3: in it. And I have to get so low to
- 50:40Speaker 3: the ground to get in this car. So this morning,
- 50:43Speaker 3: a couple of first world problems involving the Ferrari. One,
- 50:47Speaker 3: I had to put my workout bag, my backpack and
- 50:50Speaker 3: Kyle's birthday present. in the front seat was so hard
- 50:53Speaker 3: to get into with those three things. Cause I don't
- 50:56Speaker 3: know where the trunk is. I have to put in
- 50:57Speaker 3: the front seat. Then I'm driving in this morning and
- 50:59Speaker 3: somebody honks at me coming in.
- 51:01Speaker 5: Right.
- 51:01Speaker 2: So they honk.
- 51:02Speaker 3: So I do. And then I wave. Right.
- 51:04Speaker 2: And then, yeah, nice to see you in a Ferrari
- 51:06Speaker 2: because you're in a Ferrari.
- 51:07Speaker 3: And then I, and then another person honks at me
- 51:09Speaker 3: and I get to a red light and a guy
- 51:11Speaker 3: in a truck pulls up next to me and rolls
- 51:12Speaker 3: out in the window. And he's like, Hey, really cool car.
- 51:15Speaker 2: I go, thanks. He goes, Your taillight's out.
- 51:18Speaker 10: No.
- 51:19Speaker 3: Oh, no. And I'm like, oh, no. He goes, yeah, man,
- 51:21Speaker 3: the cops are going to have a field day with you.
- 51:22Speaker 3: And I'm like, yeah, I guess you're right.
- 51:24Speaker 8: Good morning.
- 51:25Speaker 16: I know.
- 51:25Speaker 3: And I was like, okay, I got to get to
- 51:27Speaker 3: the radio station as soon as possible so I don't
- 51:30Speaker 3: get pulled over. So now I have to go to
- 51:32Speaker 3: the dealership today and trade in a Ferrari and pick
- 51:34Speaker 3: up something else.
- 51:35Speaker 2: That's my first world problem. I don't know if anybody's
- 51:38Speaker 2: going to top that one.
- 51:39Speaker 3: They're going to put me in some G-wagons.
- 51:41Speaker 2: They're going to put me in a G-wagon. I told
- 51:44Speaker 2: you to get.
- 51:44Speaker 7: I want to ride in a G-wagon.
- 51:46Speaker 3: Julio, Julio, what's your first world problem?
- 51:50Speaker 5: Hey, well, it's not me.
- 51:52Speaker 18: It's, um, so my mother-in-law cleans homes and she broke
- 51:56Speaker 18: her leg coming out of church a few, a few
- 52:00Speaker 18: months ago.
- 52:01Speaker 5: And all her clients keep calling her, like, when are
- 52:04Speaker 5: you coming back? When are you coming back? She had
- 52:06Speaker 5: to get surgery.
- 52:06Speaker 3: It was, like, a really bad break.
- 52:08Speaker 16: And they're just, like, constantly, like, trying to get her
- 52:11Speaker 16: to go back to clean their home because they need
- 52:13Speaker 16: someone to vacuum and clean their home for them.
- 52:15Speaker 3: Well, that's not a first-word problem. That sounds terrible.
- 52:19Speaker 5: Oh, for them.
- 52:19Speaker 2: I thought for them.
- 52:20Speaker 3: It's not for your mother-in-law. I'm thinking about how terrible
- 52:25Speaker 3: it is for your mother-in-law.
- 52:27Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 52:28Speaker 8: They need to go clean her house.
- 52:29Speaker 5: Yeah. Yes, exactly. Julio, you pick.
- 52:34Speaker 2: You want Wicked Ball? You want Dave Chappelle? What do
- 52:37Speaker 2: you want?
- 52:39Speaker 5: Ooh, Dave Chappelle.
- 52:40Speaker 2: You got to take your mother-in-law, though.
- 52:41Speaker 5: Sure, yes. All right, hold on a line.
- 52:45Speaker 2: Thanks for listening.
- 52:46Speaker 3: Hold on a line. It is also National Bosses Day today.
- 52:52Speaker 3: So we do this every year, and it is awesome.
- 52:55Speaker 3: We want to get into the terrible, rude, What's the
- 52:59Speaker 3: word I'm looking for?
- 53:00Speaker 2: It's kind of like, what's the non-work thing that your
- 53:02Speaker 2: boss made you do? Your boss made you do something.
- 53:04Speaker 3: 877-937-1047. We're going to get into that. We also got
- 53:10Speaker 3: another $ 1, 000 on the line. We're going to pay your
- 53:12Speaker 3: bills in less than 20 minutes. National Boss Appreciation Day.
- 53:14Speaker 3: We want to hear about the weird things your boss
- 53:16Speaker 3: made you do. That is next. 99 Poms, but we're
- 53:26Speaker 3: talking about First world problems. Becky, you got a first
- 53:29Speaker 3: world problem? Becky?
- 53:33Speaker 21: Me?
- 53:34Speaker 14: Yes, me.
- 53:35Speaker 2: What's your first world problem?
- 53:36Speaker 18: Oh, I do.
- 53:36Speaker 11: So when I ordered like something on Amazon Prime for
- 53:40Speaker 11: an event the next day and it's like 8 p.m.
- 53:43Speaker 11: and then the delivery date changes.
- 53:46Speaker 5: First world problem.
- 53:46Speaker 11: It is so frustrating.
- 53:47Speaker 8: That is really sad because you're like, the offense tomorrow.
- 53:51Speaker 8: I can't get it in three days.
- 53:52Speaker 11: Yeah, and you're like watching the delivery and you're just
- 53:54Speaker 11: like watching it says out for delivery, out for delivery.
- 53:57Speaker 11: And then it updates and it says, actually, it's arriving,
- 54:00Speaker 11: you know, like tomorrow or the next day.
- 54:02Speaker 9: And you're just like, I.
- 54:03Speaker 14: Pay for this service.
- 54:04Speaker 11: And it's not that I live out in the middle
- 54:06Speaker 11: of like... remote i live in town like it should
- 54:10Speaker 11: just give me my package then you're.
- 54:11Speaker 6: Then you do it my wife does she's like now
- 54:13Speaker 6: i've got to go to an actual store and find
- 54:15Speaker 6: a thing like yeah yes you should do.
- 54:18Speaker 11: That to go find something that yes it's so frustrating
- 54:22Speaker 11: i mean and it is definitely a first world problem for.
- 54:24Speaker 3: Sure obviously thanks becky we're gonna we're transitioning to boss's
- 54:29Speaker 3: stuff you have a good boss bad boss.
- 54:33Speaker 11: Um, let's see. My boss, what has my boss made
- 54:36Speaker 11: me do? I heard the transition or the prompt. My
- 54:40Speaker 11: boss doesn't really have me do a lot of random things.
- 54:43Speaker 11: I mean, I worked at Target one time and I
- 54:44Speaker 11: had to like go clean up the bathroom when it
- 54:47Speaker 11: was really, really gross.
- 54:49Speaker 6: That's good.
- 54:51Speaker 3: Today is National Bosses Day.
- 54:53Speaker 2: National Boss Day.
- 54:54Speaker 3: Look at the calendar.
- 54:55Speaker 8: It's National Bosses Day.
- 54:56Speaker 2: And you're the coolest boss.
- 54:57Speaker 22: I'm so in love with my boss.
- 54:59Speaker 8: Brown nosers.
- 54:59Speaker 3: Brown noser.
- 55:00Speaker 2: We all know it's hard to be a boss, right?
- 55:02Speaker 3: Not today.
- 55:02Speaker 8: Happy National Bosses Day.
- 55:04Speaker 3: Enough jibber jabber. Let's get back to work.
- 55:06Speaker 7: You got it, boss.
- 55:07Speaker 8: No, seriously.
- 55:09Speaker 16: Let's go.
- 55:09Speaker 3: Ready, set, go. It's showtime. We got Dave Chappelle tickets.
- 55:15Speaker 3: We got Wicked Ball tickets. We want to hear about
- 55:17Speaker 3: the weird, crazy thing your boss made you do.
- 55:20Speaker 2: Good morning, Jennifer. You're on the air. How are you?
- 55:23Speaker 22: I'm well, thank you.
- 55:24Speaker 2: What did your boss make you do?
- 55:27Speaker 22: So, I work in healthcare. I have for 24 years.
- 55:31Speaker 22: I went out for a couple of days because I
- 55:34Speaker 22: needed jaw surgery because I wore a mask for four years.
- 55:39Speaker 22: While I was out and I didn't know it, the
- 55:41Speaker 22: receptionist got spoken to about not doing their job. I
- 55:48Speaker 22: get back from jaw surgery, and the doctor who I
- 55:51Speaker 22: work for pulls me aside and informs me that, and
- 55:58Speaker 22: mind you, I worked for him for 10 years. Due
- 56:01Speaker 22: to my incompetency at my job, my nursing duties are
- 56:08Speaker 22: causing too much work for the front desk receptionist. I
- 56:15Speaker 22: looked at both the doctor and the receptionist and said,
- 56:22Speaker 22: so you're looking at me, expecting me to take accountability
- 56:26Speaker 22: for why your receptionist isn't doing their job? I got
- 56:32Speaker 22: called to be, I got told I was incompetent at
- 56:35Speaker 22: my job and that I don't know how to treat
- 56:38Speaker 22: patients as if they were members of my family.
- 56:40Speaker 2: Oh, no.
- 56:41Speaker 5: All right.
- 56:42Speaker 3: All right, Jennifer. Thank you.
- 56:44Speaker 2: She's got an ax to grind there.
- 56:45Speaker 3: She called her the B word. That's terrible.
- 56:47Speaker 7: Nate.
- 56:49Speaker 11: Yeah.
- 56:50Speaker 2: Hey, Hey, what happened?
- 56:52Speaker 24: Hey, so, uh, I'm a producer for a, uh, like
- 56:56Speaker 24: a morning radio show. You may have heard of it, but, uh,
- 56:59Speaker 24: one time my boss made me get up on the
- 57:02Speaker 24: roof and, uh, bandic suit and then repel off our
- 57:06Speaker 24: four story building. Uh, It was, you know, it was
- 57:12Speaker 24: just like the weirdest day.
- 57:13Speaker 3: I guess.
- 57:13Speaker 13: But, you know, here we are.
- 57:15Speaker 2: Here you are, Nate.
- 57:17Speaker 6: I bet that was, you probably felt like you could
- 57:19Speaker 6: do anything after you did that, though, Nate.
- 57:23Speaker 24: Yeah, they also had me race a train one time.
- 57:26Speaker 2: Oh, I forgot about that. Remind me, how did that go, Josh?
- 57:31Speaker 2: He was in a superhero costume, and I think he
- 57:33Speaker 2: had to race a train.
- 57:34Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 57:36Speaker 2: See, that's funny. It's funny talking about it, too. Sorry, Nate.
- 57:41Speaker 3: Who won?
- 57:42Speaker 24: Yeah, it's super funny.
- 57:45Speaker 2: I hear Nate has a bad knee. Probably shouldn't be
- 57:47Speaker 2: racing a train.
- 57:48Speaker 3: Oh, God, that's funny.
- 57:50Speaker 24: Okay, long time, long time listener. Love you guys. First
- 57:54Speaker 24: time caller, bye.
- 57:54Speaker 8: Thank you, brother.
- 58:04Speaker 3: New music Friday, Tim McCrae. Let me tell you how
- 58:09Speaker 3: smart she is when it comes to marketing this song.
- 58:12Speaker 3: Her picture is blowing up in the foot community because
- 58:16Speaker 3: her pose is the foot pose. You know the pose?
- 58:19Speaker 2: It's unbelievable. They're very smart.
- 58:22Speaker 3: They know that right now, think about it, the feet
- 58:24Speaker 3: are in a euphoria. They do all kinds of feet
- 58:26Speaker 3: stuff and all kinds of different stuff. And now Tate
- 58:29Speaker 3: McRae in the foot pose. Very famous for her new song.
- 58:33Speaker 3: National Boss Day. We want to hear about the crazy
- 58:34Speaker 3: thing your boss made you do. Jessica, good morning.
- 58:38Speaker 20: Hi, good morning.
- 58:39Speaker 3: Good morning.
- 58:39Speaker 2: What did your boss make you do?
- 58:43Speaker 20: So this one is different. I'm actually the boss. I
- 58:47Speaker 20: had one of my employees put air in the tire
- 58:50Speaker 20: for me because that was my first world activity.
- 58:55Speaker 22: That I had to do.
- 58:57Speaker 20: My husband was not around, and so I figured, hey,
- 59:02Speaker 20: I'm just going to have them do this for me,
- 59:04Speaker 20: and that's going to go in his year in review.
- 59:07Speaker 2: Not that he did a good job. Did he fill
- 59:09Speaker 2: it to the proper? tire pressure?
- 59:12Speaker 20: Yes, he did.
- 59:13Speaker 5: Okay.
- 59:15Speaker 7: See, and when you do get asked to do those
- 59:17Speaker 7: random things and you come through for your boss, it
- 59:19Speaker 7: usually always, you know, works out in your favor anyway.
- 59:21Speaker 7: You get some brownie points.
- 59:22Speaker 8: Yeah, it's nice that you're giving credit where credit's due.
- 59:25Speaker 11: Exactly.
- 59:25Speaker 4: Definitely.
- 59:27Speaker 20: Extracurricular activities.
- 59:29Speaker 2: Thanks, Jessica. Thanks for calling in. Crystal, what'd your boss
- 59:33Speaker 2: make you do?
- 59:33Speaker 3: Oh, I feel like something's wrong with our phones again.
- 59:37Speaker 3: I picked up a call. I got a call from
- 59:39Speaker 3: Ryan and he said that his boss made him, she
- 59:43Speaker 3: was catfishing somebody and she, was gonna buy a car
- 59:47Speaker 3: from some guy and she made him go and he
- 59:51Speaker 3: had to go meet up with.
- 59:52Speaker 2: The guy like as her catfish as.
- 59:54Speaker 3: Her while she hid in a uh changing room at
- 59:57Speaker 3: a department store and i was like that's amazing so.
- 1:00:01Speaker 26: I don't know do we take jessica already yeah okay
- 1:00:05Speaker 26: let's see if this works because jen's got a first
- 1:00:07Speaker 26: world problem jen what was your first world problem Hi.
- 1:00:11Speaker 25: John Jay. My first world problem, I actually call it
- 1:00:14Speaker 25: my Scottsdale problem. I get spray tans and I have
- 1:00:19Speaker 25: white seats in my electric vehicle.
- 1:00:21Speaker 2: You know what?
- 1:00:25Speaker 6: This is a problem for all of my car seats
- 1:00:27Speaker 6: because of my wife, Stacy, who likes to do that
- 1:00:29Speaker 6: same thing.
- 1:00:29Speaker 7: You just got to like put the little covering towels.
- 1:00:32Speaker 6: Everything in my house has tan stuff on it. Like
- 1:00:36Speaker 6: even the remote control has tan stuff on it.
- 1:00:40Speaker 2: How do you handle it? What do you do?
- 1:00:43Speaker 25: I bring a towel. It's in my, in my car
- 1:00:45Speaker 25: all the time.
- 1:00:45Speaker 3: Good idea.
- 1:00:46Speaker 2: All right, Jen. Thanks for calling in.
- 1:00:49Speaker 3: That's great.
- 1:00:50Speaker 12: Thank you guys.
- 1:00:50Speaker 11: Love you.
- 1:00:51Speaker 19: Have a good day.
- 1:00:51Speaker 3: Love you too. That's great.
- 1:00:54Speaker 2: Jessica.
- 1:00:56Speaker 22: Hey, good morning, Brian.
- 1:00:57Speaker 20: How are you doing?
- 1:00:58Speaker 5: Good.
- 1:00:58Speaker 2: Are you the crazy boss that we already talked to?
- 1:01:01Speaker 12: Yes.
- 1:01:02Speaker 3: Okay, okay.
- 1:01:02Speaker 16: Hold on.
- 1:01:03Speaker 2: Do you want Wicked Ball tickets? We'll give you some
- 1:01:04Speaker 2: Wicked Ball tickets.
- 1:01:06Speaker 3: Hold on.
- 1:01:06Speaker 2: Sorry, what? Yeah, I know.
- 1:01:08Speaker 3: Something's wrong with our phones, you guys.
- 1:01:09Speaker 9: Yeah, totally.
- 1:01:10Speaker 8: No.
- 1:01:11Speaker 3: Something's wrong.
- 1:01:11Speaker 8: They're falling apart.
- 1:01:12Speaker 2: It's a good time to launch a phone participation segment.
- 1:01:16Speaker 3: I know, right?
- 1:01:16Speaker 7: Isn't that amazing?
- 1:01:17Speaker 16: Hold on.
- 1:01:18Speaker 2: Let's just try this real quick. Michael.
- 1:01:21Speaker 3: Hey. Hey.
- 1:01:22Speaker 2: Your boss made you do what?
- 1:01:25Speaker 5: Well, he was trying to make me do.
- 1:01:27Speaker 19: So I was a morning sous chef at a country club,
- 1:01:29Speaker 19: and he was an exiting chef, and it was his
- 1:01:33Speaker 19: very last day. And there was a new chef as well,
- 1:01:38Speaker 19: and he kept trying to tell me to come move
- 1:01:42Speaker 19: his couch. He was like, you got to come move
- 1:01:44Speaker 19: my couch.
- 1:01:45Speaker 25: I'm moving.
- 1:01:45Speaker 3: It's a really.
- 1:01:46Speaker 19: I can't move it by myself. And I realized, it's like, hey,
- 1:01:50Speaker 19: you know, it's his last day. I'm not really my
- 1:01:52Speaker 19: boss anymore at I'm not going to gain anything from this.
- 1:01:55Speaker 19: I don't want to do it. And I wound up
- 1:01:57Speaker 19: hitting them with the Dave Chappelle. I kind of just said,
- 1:01:59Speaker 19: F your couch. And that felt really good.
- 1:02:02Speaker 2: All right.
- 1:02:04Speaker 3: Good morning, John Jane Rich. Who's this?
- 1:02:08Speaker 9: Hi, this is Jessica. I'm the one that had the
- 1:02:10Speaker 9: boss story that I got disconnected.
- 1:02:14Speaker 3: Oh, so there's two Jessicas. All right, Jessica, hold on,
- 1:02:19Speaker 3: hold on, hold on. Jessica, we haven't talked to this
- 1:02:22Speaker 3: Jessica yet. We talked to that other Jessica.
- 1:02:24Speaker 2: Jessica, hi. What's your story?
- 1:02:28Speaker 7: Hi.
- 1:02:28Speaker 9: So I have a crazy boss. Had a crazy boss.
- 1:02:31Speaker 12: I quit.
- 1:02:32Speaker 9: But I had got three concussions while on the job.
- 1:02:37Speaker 9: And my boss still wanted me to go to work
- 1:02:40Speaker 9: every single day. I wasn't allowed to miss work for
- 1:02:42Speaker 9: any doctor's appointments. They told me I had to make
- 1:02:45Speaker 9: all my appointments after work, even though I worked 6 a.m.
- 1:02:48Speaker 9: to 4 p.m., And they expected me to be there
- 1:02:51Speaker 9: every single day and not miss a day of work.
- 1:02:54Speaker 2: What were you doing? Were you got three concussions? Were
- 1:02:56Speaker 2: you being tackled? What's going on?
- 1:03:00Speaker 9: I work at a behavioral school and I got hit
- 1:03:04Speaker 9: in the head by a student pretty hard that I
- 1:03:07Speaker 9: was a one-on-one with. And I got hit multiple times.
- 1:03:12Speaker 9: And I finally was just like, you know what? This
- 1:03:14Speaker 9: is not worth the money.
- 1:03:16Speaker 1: I got to go.
- 1:03:16Speaker 20: I got to go.
- 1:03:18Speaker 9: So I ended up quitting, but my boss gave me, like,
- 1:03:22Speaker 9: it was just living torture working there. It was the
- 1:03:25Speaker 9: worst place ever.
- 1:03:26Speaker 2: Well, hold on. How about Wicked Ball tickets for you, Jessica?
- 1:03:29Speaker 3: Today we're only taking calls from people named Jessica.
- 1:03:33Speaker 2: Loading them up. Wicked Ball. Let me get all my information.
- 1:03:36Speaker 3: Because Kyle, you and Rich are hosting the Wicked Ball.
- 1:03:38Speaker 8: Yeah, it's going to be so fun.
- 1:03:39Speaker 10: I love Wicked Ball so much because, I mean, they're
- 1:03:42Speaker 10: giving away $ 15, 000 in prizes. And so people go all out.
- 1:03:47Speaker 10: And I feel like when you go to a Halloween party,
- 1:03:49Speaker 10: that's what you want to be around. Like a bunch
- 1:03:50Speaker 10: of really amazing costumes.
- 1:03:52Speaker 2: It's Friday night, October 30th.
- 1:03:55Speaker 3: You can get tickets at Ticketmaster.com or you can keep
- 1:03:57Speaker 3: winning them from us. We're going to have them all
- 1:03:59Speaker 3: next week as well.

- 1:04:01Speaker 3: It is spooky season now. And I have several Halloween things.
- 1:04:05Speaker 3: I got the top trending costumes on Google. I got
- 1:04:08Speaker 3: the top 10 most haunted cities in the United States.
- 1:04:10Speaker 3: And this is the scariest movie that was out the
- 1:04:13Speaker 3: year you were born.
- 1:04:15Speaker 2: Okay, cool.
- 1:04:16Speaker 3: The year you were born. For me, when I was born,
- 1:04:20Speaker 3: it's The Night of the Living Dead.
- 1:04:22Speaker 2: That's a classic.
- 1:04:23Speaker 3: It was the scariest movie.
- 1:04:24Speaker 2: Classic. Got remade a few times.
- 1:04:26Speaker 3: Rich, the movie that was number one... Haunted movie was
- 1:04:29Speaker 3: called something called The Cremator.
- 1:04:31Speaker 2: I don't know that one.
- 1:04:32Speaker 3: The Cremator.
- 1:04:32Speaker 2: I don't know that either.
- 1:04:34Speaker 3: Peyton, the movie, or for Kyle, yours was The Evil Dead.
- 1:04:37Speaker 11: Oh, yeah.
- 1:04:38Speaker 7: Have you seen that? I've heard of The Evil Dead.
- 1:04:40Speaker 5: Oh, I haven't.
- 1:04:41Speaker 2: Yeah, that's bad.
- 1:04:42Speaker 8: It sounds scary. It's like, I'm dead. I don't know
- 1:04:44Speaker 8: if I need to go watch it.
- 1:04:46Speaker 3: Peyton, the movie that was number one for you when
- 1:04:48Speaker 3: you were born is a movie I've never heard of before.
- 1:04:50Speaker 3: It's called Ring You.
- 1:04:50Speaker 2: Ring You.
- 1:04:51Speaker 7: How?
- 1:04:52Speaker 2: R-I-N-G-U.
- 1:04:52Speaker 3: I thought I was.
- 1:04:53Speaker 7: Going to totally have a Chucky movie or something in there.
- 1:04:56Speaker 3: If you were born in 1989, Pet Sematary. 91, Silence
- 1:04:59Speaker 3: of the Lambs. 92, Candyman. 95, Seven. 96, Scream. 99,
- 1:05:03Speaker 3: Blair Witch Project. 2000 was Final Destination. 2002 was The Ring.
- 1:05:07Speaker 3: And if you were born in 2004, it was Saw.
- 1:05:10Speaker 6: You know, I'm surprised they put Silence of the Lambs
- 1:05:12Speaker 6: as not a thriller in a horror movie instead of that.
- 1:05:15Speaker 6: Because that's like... real-life serial killer stuff, right?
- 1:05:18Speaker 7: I just went on, like, a whole deep dive of
- 1:05:21Speaker 7: Jason Voorhees because the new Crystal Lake came out.
- 1:05:24Speaker 2: I started watching part of it.
- 1:05:26Speaker 7: I am, like, so excited to go back and actually watch, like,
- 1:05:29Speaker 7: the original movies because I love rooting for, like, the
- 1:05:32Speaker 7: villain and the underdog. Like, apparently Jason, like, he was bullied, like,
- 1:05:36Speaker 7: and he, like, is, like, getting his revenge back.
- 1:05:39Speaker 2: Yeah, I don't know if I would call him an underdog.
- 1:05:41Speaker 7: I mean, in the sense of, like, Like, you know,
- 1:05:44Speaker 7: like he's like creating these, he's like killing people.
- 1:05:46Speaker 2: Just popular people.
- 1:05:48Speaker 7: But he's getting his like vengeance back because they did
- 1:05:51Speaker 7: him wrong.
- 1:05:52Speaker 3: If you go to Peacock, I watched a trailer yesterday
- 1:05:55Speaker 3: and it's the mom and it looks like it's her
- 1:05:58Speaker 3: origin story why she started killing everybody.
- 1:05:59Speaker 7: Yeah, it's exactly like what happened. So it's like her
- 1:06:02Speaker 7: point of view on like Jason's drowning and then how
- 1:06:06Speaker 7: she goes and kills everyone and comes back.
- 1:06:08Speaker 3: Crazy.
- 1:06:08Speaker 16: I know.
- 1:06:09Speaker 7: And it's Velma.
- 1:06:11Speaker 2: I know.
- 1:06:11Speaker 7: It's Linda Cordelli or whatever her name is.
- 1:06:13Speaker 2: Oh, really? Cordinelli? Yeah, she's great.
- 1:06:16Speaker 7: All I know is that she's Velma from the live
- 1:06:18Speaker 7: action Scooby-Doo.
- 1:06:19Speaker 2: Yeah, she could do scary pretty well.
- 1:06:20Speaker 3: So speaking of, I was going to say that Google
- 1:06:23Speaker 3: released their biggest top trending searches for costumes.
- 1:06:27Speaker 2: Get this.
- 1:06:28Speaker 3: The top searches for costumes. If I just go top 10,
- 1:06:33Speaker 3: it's Hazel Hook from The Descendants.
- 1:06:36Speaker 2: It's a disco-themed Scooby-Doo.
- 1:06:38Speaker 3: It's number nine.
- 1:06:38Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 1:06:40Speaker 3: Carl from the literary role-playing book Dungeon Crawler Carl. Verity
- 1:06:46Speaker 3: from Minecraft. Oliver Tree is number six. Lily Lovebraids from
- 1:06:51Speaker 3: the horror game Poppy Playtime. The King from Odyssey. Freaky
- 1:06:58Speaker 3: Nikki from Obsession is number three. Nido, the squishy cube toy,
- 1:07:03Speaker 3: is number two.
- 1:07:04Speaker 2: That's great.
- 1:07:04Speaker 7: I wonder how people are going to do that.
- 1:07:06Speaker 3: The number one costume that people are Googling right now
- 1:07:08Speaker 3: and how to get it is Buddy the Unicorn from Buddy.
- 1:07:11Speaker 7: Yes, I was literally telling, I think it was you, Kyle,
- 1:07:13Speaker 7: that I was telling. I was like, there's this dinosaur
- 1:07:16Speaker 7: Buddy that has gone by. He's almost like an evil Barney.
- 1:07:19Speaker 3: The top five movies that people are Googling to do
- 1:07:21Speaker 3: costumes for is Brute is number five, Pasture number four,
- 1:07:27Speaker 3: The Whisper Man number three, number two is The Other Mommy,
- 1:07:30Speaker 3: and number one is Buddy.
- 1:07:32Speaker 2: If you're looking for Halloween costume ideas. Mother Mommy is like,
- 1:07:35Speaker 2: that's too new and too cool to do yet. It's
- 1:07:39Speaker 2: number two.
- 1:07:40Speaker 7: I mean, unless it really starts to take off in
- 1:07:42Speaker 7: the next two weeks.
- 1:07:43Speaker 2: I guess so.
- 1:07:43Speaker 10: I always feel like sometimes the best costumes are the
- 1:07:45Speaker 10: ones that are like, they happened this year.
- 1:07:47Speaker 8: They're super topical.
- 1:07:49Speaker 3: Did you see that they're doing, a lot of people
- 1:07:51Speaker 3: are starting to put together Kelly Clarkson bird costumes?
- 1:07:54Speaker 2: No, that's funny.
- 1:07:55Speaker 7: No, that's funny, no.
- 1:07:56Speaker 3: That's funny. We got Charlie XCX tickets in just about
- 1:07:59Speaker 3: 20 minutes. You got to keep listening for the cue
- 1:08:00Speaker 3: to call. We got some entertainment stuff, too, like what?
- 1:08:03Speaker 10: Kim Kardashian's 13-year-old daughter's clapping back at the haters.
- 1:08:06Speaker 8: You'll hear what she has to say next with John
- 1:08:09Speaker 8: Jay and Rich.
- 1:08:10Speaker 19: Because of me, John Jay, I, I, I.
- 1:08:17Speaker 2: We're going to get some entertainment news, but also new
- 1:08:18Speaker 2: music Friday.
- 1:08:19Speaker 3: What do you got, Peyton?
- 1:08:20Speaker 7: So earlier this week, it was teased that we might
- 1:08:22Speaker 7: be getting new music from Olivia Rodrigo and Chapel Roan.
- 1:08:25Speaker 7: And it was confirmed on Wednesday that we were going
- 1:08:28Speaker 7: to get a remix with a feature of Chapel Roan
- 1:08:30Speaker 7: on Olivia Rodrigo's song, Expectations. And here it is.
- 1:08:34Speaker 3: I'm not kissing a girl that's passing.
- 1:08:35Speaker 7: The indecision is painfully unattractive. Past mistakes are just new.
- 1:08:55Speaker 2: I got the expectations.
- 1:09:04Speaker 7: I'm like.
- 1:09:05Speaker 2: Pretty good.
- 1:09:06Speaker 7: The pop princesses have leaped up, and I'm loving it.
- 1:09:09Speaker 7: You can actually watch the music video to it as well,
- 1:09:12Speaker 7: because they dropped out. It is very campy, very high fashion.
- 1:09:16Speaker 7: So it was really fun, and I'm totally into it.
- 1:09:18Speaker 8: It's got a fun vibe.
- 1:09:19Speaker 7: Yeah, definitely. Okay, we have been playing for you all
- 1:09:22Speaker 7: morning Tate McRae's new single. This one is called Housewife.
- 1:09:53Speaker 7: So her music video for Housewife also is out right now.
- 1:09:56Speaker 7: And it is kind of like flipping the classic trad
- 1:10:00Speaker 7: wife aesthetic on its head a little bit. But what's
- 1:10:03Speaker 7: really exciting is this weekend is the Victoria's Secret fashion show.
- 1:10:07Speaker 7: And Tate McRae is performing this song live for the
- 1:10:09Speaker 7: very first time.
- 1:10:10Speaker 2: Oh, that's cool.
- 1:10:10Speaker 7: Yeah, it's going to be awesome.
- 1:10:12Speaker 8: I think the whole show is going to be awesome.
- 1:10:14Speaker 7: It's going to be great.
- 1:10:15Speaker 8: It always is.
- 1:10:15Speaker 10: Because I think all the performers are female and it's
- 1:10:17Speaker 10: always a really good show. So I feel like they're back.
- 1:10:20Speaker 10: Victoria's Secret Factory show is definitely back. Michael Che, he
- 1:10:24Speaker 10: went on the Today Show. He's got a new Netflix
- 1:10:26Speaker 10: comedy special and he was promoting it. But they didn't...
- 1:10:29Speaker 10: They talked to him about it, but then they were
- 1:10:31Speaker 10: kind of focusing a lot on the controversy on his
- 1:10:34Speaker 10: show SNL.
- 1:10:35Speaker 8: And that happens to do with Shane Gillis.
- 1:10:37Speaker 10: We've been talking about it all week, how he went
- 1:10:39Speaker 10: on the show and said, women at the gym dress
- 1:10:42Speaker 10: like whores. And that upset a lot of people. And
- 1:10:47Speaker 10: it kind of started with Dan Levy saying, we shouldn't
- 1:10:49Speaker 10: accept this. We can't be complacent with this. And since then,
- 1:10:52Speaker 10: lots of celebs have spoken out about it. So they
- 1:10:55Speaker 10: asked Michael Che, like, Did he see it?
- 1:10:58Speaker 8: What did he think about it?
- 1:11:00Speaker 3: That's comedy.
- 1:11:01Speaker 20: It's like you think it's funny and then some people don't.
- 1:11:05Speaker 8: Did you laugh at what he said?
- 1:11:06Speaker 3: I was at cue cards.
- 1:11:07Speaker 24: Actually thinking about what I was going to say that
- 1:11:09Speaker 24: was going to make people upset.
- 1:11:11Speaker 3: So I wasn't really, I didn't even see it till
- 1:11:13Speaker 3: like the next day.
- 1:11:14Speaker 10: So everyone's like, but did you or didn't you laugh?
- 1:11:18Speaker 10: So much so that they reached out to him so
- 1:11:21Speaker 10: much and like started dragging him online that he made
- 1:11:24Speaker 10: this post saying, listen, I just want to make one
- 1:11:26Speaker 10: thing abundantly clear. I didn't laugh. Also, I haven't laughed
- 1:11:30Speaker 10: at anything in 11 years. And also, please stop saying
- 1:11:33Speaker 10: that I hate women because I really only hate six women.
- 1:11:36Speaker 8: The other four billion are just fine.
- 1:11:39Speaker 3: His comedy special, I'm almost done with it, and he
- 1:11:41Speaker 3: goes hard on it, and it's really good.
- 1:11:44Speaker 2: I mean, that's how you have to look at comedy.
- 1:11:46Speaker 7: Well, that's what I was going to say. It seems
- 1:11:48Speaker 7: like he has the look that, like, if you're in comedy,
- 1:11:50Speaker 7: you should have, which is it's comedy, and some people
- 1:11:53Speaker 7: think it's funny, and some people don't.
- 1:11:55Speaker 2: And some of it is shocking. Some comedy is shocking.
- 1:11:57Speaker 3: Yep.
- 1:11:57Speaker 8: Very true. This was comedy, but not on purpose.
- 1:12:00Speaker 10: So Khloe Kardashian, she dropped a brand new perfume and
- 1:12:04Speaker 10: she wanted to be the first one to buy it
- 1:12:05Speaker 10: at Sephora. So she went to Sephora and she gets
- 1:12:07Speaker 10: to check out.
- 1:12:08Speaker 15: Oh, my gosh.
- 1:12:09Speaker 10: Like, I don't have a credit card. And then this
- 1:12:12Speaker 10: led to her discovering Apple Pay.
- 1:12:15Speaker 8: I want to be the first one to purchase. Oh,
- 1:12:17Speaker 8: we need a credit card.
- 1:12:18Speaker 2: No.
- 1:12:20Speaker 8: How do I do that? Okay, we'll tap on the left.
- 1:12:22Speaker 24: Really?
- 1:12:22Speaker 7: This will change your life. This will change your life.
- 1:12:24Speaker 3: It's a big moment.
- 1:12:28Speaker 18: You did it.
- 1:12:28Speaker 8: 2026 is wild.
- 1:12:30Speaker 16: Wow.
- 1:12:30Speaker 2: Two monumental things in my life right now.
- 1:12:34Speaker 8: First one to buy at Sephora.
- 1:12:36Speaker 7: First time I used Apple Pay for my phone.
- 1:12:38Speaker 18: That is dangerous.
- 1:12:40Speaker 7: Yes, it is.
- 1:12:40Speaker 2: Welcome to the club, Chloe.
- 1:12:42Speaker 8: Apple Pay's been around for 12 years.
- 1:12:44Speaker 2: Is that on the show? Is that why the audience
- 1:12:46Speaker 2: with Chris is like they're filming it for her TV show?
- 1:12:48Speaker 8: I know they were filming it. I don't necessarily know
- 1:12:49Speaker 8: if it was on the show. That's a little out.
- 1:12:52Speaker 7: Of touch, Chloe.
- 1:12:53Speaker 8: I know.
- 1:12:55Speaker 7: Like, you know what I mean? Like, who is buying
- 1:12:57Speaker 7: all of your stuff to where you don't have your
- 1:12:59Speaker 7: credit card on you for one or know that you
- 1:13:00Speaker 7: have Apple Pay on your phone?
- 1:13:01Speaker 10: And you were, like, the purpose of going to Sephora
- 1:13:04Speaker 10: was for you to buy it.
- 1:13:05Speaker 8: That's hilarious.
- 1:13:06Speaker 7: Crazy.
- 1:13:07Speaker 10: In the meantime, her niece, Kim Kardashian's 13-year-old daughter, Northwest,
- 1:13:11Speaker 10: if you've seen her at all recently, you know her look.
- 1:13:14Speaker 10: To some people is a little jarring for someone that age.
- 1:13:16Speaker 10: She's got like the long blue hair. She's got piercings everywhere.
- 1:13:20Speaker 10: She piercings in her face. And so a lot of
- 1:13:22Speaker 10: people have like started calling her demonic on online. And
- 1:13:26Speaker 10: she's seen that and she doesn't want to be called
- 1:13:29Speaker 10: that anymore.
- 1:13:30Speaker 7: I'm not demonic.
- 1:13:31Speaker 4: I stop saying I'm demonic.
- 1:13:32Speaker 11: No, I'm not.
- 1:13:33Speaker 5: Just because I like to dress this way. Don't judge
- 1:13:36Speaker 5: a book by its cover.
- 1:13:37Speaker 10: Yeah, I feel like people say that because like the
- 1:13:40Speaker 10: black girls.
- 1:13:41Speaker 8: And just like piercings and stuff.
- 1:13:43Speaker 21: Yeah, but I don't know why you guys should put
- 1:13:45Speaker 21: that with demonic because I don't get that.
- 1:13:47Speaker 8: But I don't think people really get it.
- 1:13:50Speaker 5: But like, do you care?
- 1:13:51Speaker 21: Oh my gosh.
- 1:13:53Speaker 8: She has like the best mom.
- 1:13:55Speaker 10: For growing up in the public eye because that age
- 1:13:58Speaker 10: is so hard as it is because you're really, you're experimenting,
- 1:14:01Speaker 10: but you don't know yourself at that point. You're like
- 1:14:03Speaker 10: trying to find yourself and this is her style. And
- 1:14:05Speaker 10: Kim has said she lets her dress this way and
- 1:14:07Speaker 10: get the piercings because it's expressing herself and she wants
- 1:14:10Speaker 10: her to be able to do that.
- 1:14:11Speaker 8: But it's like nobody, I would argue to say nobody.
- 1:14:16Speaker 10: Or very little people have experienced the amount of hate
- 1:14:19Speaker 10: that Kim Kardashian has.
- 1:14:20Speaker 21: Yeah.
- 1:14:20Speaker 10: So like when it comes to advice for that kind
- 1:14:23Speaker 10: of stuff, Kim would be the best mom for that.
- 1:14:24Speaker 8: She's like, listen, I've heard it all. Poor Northie. I know.
- 1:14:28Speaker 7: She's such a baby. You know what I mean? And like.
- 1:14:31Speaker 8: Before you talk trash, like, this is a 13-year-old girl here.
- 1:14:34Speaker 5: Exactly.
- 1:14:34Speaker 7: And I doubt the piercings are real. I doubt Chris
- 1:14:36Speaker 7: is letting her put needles in her face right now.
- 1:14:38Speaker 7: Those are glued on.
- 1:14:40Speaker 8: Chris has not done that.
- 1:14:42Speaker 10: Exactly. So, you guys, out there somewhere is a very
- 1:14:47Speaker 10: expensive Birkin.
- 1:14:52Speaker 8: That belongs to Cardi B.
- 1:14:54Speaker 10: She says she was at a hotel, and she's pretty
- 1:14:57Speaker 10: sure she left her purse there. And it's one of
- 1:14:59Speaker 10: 40 Birkins she had, but this one was special.
- 1:15:02Speaker 16: 40?
- 1:15:03Speaker 8: 40, yes.
- 1:15:04Speaker 10: This one she called Esmeralda, and she's very sad about it.
- 1:15:08Speaker 10: And it's funny because it's not like she said, if
- 1:15:10Speaker 10: you find it, bring it back. But if you find
- 1:15:12Speaker 10: it and you bring it back, I bet you Cardi
- 1:15:14Speaker 10: B will reward you.
- 1:15:15Speaker 7: I heard she found it.
- 1:15:16Speaker 8: Did she find it?
- 1:15:17Speaker 7: I heard someone found it.
- 1:15:18Speaker 3: Really?
- 1:15:19Speaker 7: They had Esmeralda, like somebody, her friends.
- 1:15:21Speaker 8: Did they give it back to her?
- 1:15:22Speaker 7: They sent her a screenshot of Esmeralda, and she was like,
- 1:15:25Speaker 7: when can I get it back?
- 1:15:27Speaker 22: Good.
- 1:15:27Speaker 7: I think she got Esmeralda back.
- 1:15:29Speaker 8: I hope she rewards them.
- 1:15:29Speaker 20: Yeah.
- 1:15:30Speaker 8: Like handsomely, because that bag is easily $ 50, 000 to $ 100, 000.
- 1:15:34Speaker 8: That's what I was going to ask.
- 1:15:36Speaker 2: Well, that's a.
- 1:15:36Speaker 11: Yeah.
- 1:15:36Speaker 7: I could have sold it.
- 1:15:37Speaker 2: That's crazy pants.
- 1:15:38Speaker 10: So when you think about her collection at around $ 50, 000
- 1:15:40Speaker 10: to $ 100, 000 each, that's about $ 4 million in bags.
- 1:15:43Speaker 8: The math is mathing.
- 1:15:45Speaker 3: Charlie XCX will be here next week.
- 1:15:46Speaker 2: We got your free tickets. You have to win our game, Impostor. 877-937-1047.
- 1:15:50Speaker 3: We're going to play after Destiny's Child. Alright, Destiny's Child.

- 1:16:06Speaker 3: The most recent post there. Type in the word Roses
- 1:16:08Speaker 3: and we will send it directly to your phone.
- 1:16:11Speaker 2: I want to do a quick shout out.
- 1:16:13Speaker 3: I found out that Arizona Dental Wellness. AZ Dental Wellness
- 1:16:18Speaker 3: listens to us in their office while they're drilling teeth
- 1:16:20Speaker 3: and cleaning teeth. So thank you, Arizona Dental Wellness. And
- 1:16:22Speaker 3: then I thought, man, if you listen to us in
- 1:16:24Speaker 3: your office, let us know so we can give you
- 1:16:25Speaker 3: a shout out too, man.
- 1:16:26Speaker 2: I think it's cool you listen to our show.
- 1:16:28Speaker 3: Thank you for listening to the show at work and
- 1:16:30Speaker 3: also for listening at home and wherever you are. Thomas,
- 1:16:33Speaker 3: good morning.
- 1:16:34Speaker 19: Hey, good morning.
- 1:16:36Speaker 2: How are y'all doing?
- 1:16:37Speaker 3: We're going to play a game. Charlie XX tickets on
- 1:16:38Speaker 3: the line. We're going to play imposter. Imposter. Yes, let's
- 1:16:42Speaker 3: do it.
- 1:16:42Speaker 11: All right.
- 1:16:43Speaker 2: Who's first?
- 1:16:44Speaker 7: Okay.
- 1:16:44Speaker 16: Yeah.
- 1:16:44Speaker 7: So this is how we play, Thomas. Our producer, Nick,
- 1:16:47Speaker 7: he has secretly picked one person in the studio to
- 1:16:50Speaker 7: be the imposter. The rest of us have all gotten
- 1:16:52Speaker 7: the same word or the same topic. We are each
- 1:16:55Speaker 7: going to describe the word without saying it. But the
- 1:16:57Speaker 7: thing is, though, Thomas, one of us is the imposter,
- 1:17:00Speaker 7: and you have to figure out who it is, okay?
- 1:17:01Speaker 7: All right.
- 1:17:03Speaker 4: Let's do it.
- 1:17:03Speaker 5: All right.
- 1:17:05Speaker 7: Start um and choose out of any of us john
- 1:17:07Speaker 7: j rich kyle or me.
- 1:17:08Speaker 2: Payton to start us off let's do payton.
- 1:17:12Speaker 7: Okay i'm gonna start with sweet classic whatchamacallit halloween.
- 1:17:22Speaker 10: Um multiples nostalgic 100 grand trick.
- 1:17:33Speaker 7: Um cavities.
- 1:17:36Speaker 16: Fun.
- 1:17:37Speaker 2: Kids. Reese's.
- 1:17:40Speaker 8: Pillowcases. Delicious.
- 1:17:44Speaker 3: Knocking.
- 1:17:47Speaker 2: Toothpaste.
- 1:17:49Speaker 7: Okay, Thomas, do you have any idea who in the
- 1:17:52Speaker 7: studio is the imposter?
- 1:17:54Speaker 2: Yes, it's going to be you, Peyton.
- 1:17:57Speaker 7: Incorrect. I am not the imposter.
- 1:18:00Speaker 8: He was so, so sure about that.
- 1:18:03Speaker 3: She just doesn't understand.
- 1:18:04Speaker 2: How to play the game.
- 1:18:05Speaker 7: I will explain myself when the time comes.
- 1:18:09Speaker 2: But I am not the imposter. Thomas, what do you
- 1:18:11Speaker 2: think the topic is?
- 1:18:13Speaker 3: It's Halloween candy.
- 1:18:15Speaker 7: Candy's right.
- 1:18:15Speaker 9: Yeah.
- 1:18:16Speaker 3: I think it's Kyle.
- 1:18:18Speaker 7: It is.
- 1:18:19Speaker 3: Oh, yeah. Kyle was my second choice.
- 1:18:21Speaker 2: Wait, why did you think?
- 1:18:23Speaker 7: Because I said pillowcases. We always went trick-or-treating with our
- 1:18:26Speaker 7: pillowcases and not a trick-or-treat.
- 1:18:27Speaker 3: I got pillowcases.
- 1:18:28Speaker 2: It was before that.
- 1:18:30Speaker 7: Cavities?
- 1:18:31Speaker 2: No, what was the clue before that?
- 1:18:33Speaker 7: Multiples?
- 1:18:34Speaker 3: Yeah, there you go.
- 1:18:34Speaker 7: Multiples of candies.
- 1:18:35Speaker 8: Yeah, there's lots of Skittles that come in a bag.
- 1:18:37Speaker 2: No, I know, but multiples.
- 1:18:39Speaker 8: I picked it up after, like, the first round.
- 1:18:41Speaker 11: Yeah, that's what threw me off.
- 1:18:42Speaker 2: I actually thought it was Peyton, too.
- 1:18:44Speaker 7: Well, I was trying to throw you off with the pillowcases.
- 1:18:47Speaker 2: Oh.
- 1:18:48Speaker 7: I'm just kidding.
- 1:18:50Speaker 5: Busted at first.
- 1:18:50Speaker 12: Good job.
- 1:18:51Speaker 5: Thomas will set you up.
- 1:18:53Speaker 2: Good job, Thomas. Does that mean that Kyle won since
- 1:18:55Speaker 2: he didn't sniff out that she was the imposter? I win.
- 1:18:57Speaker 2: You win. You get the Charlie existence, though. Way to go, dude. Congratulations.
- 1:19:01Speaker 19: Yes.
- 1:19:01Speaker 11: Awesome.
- 1:19:02Speaker 3: Thank you.
- 1:19:02Speaker 12: Great question.
- 1:19:03Speaker 18: What do you call a fake noodle?
- 1:19:06Speaker 5: A foodle?
- 1:19:07Speaker 2: What do you call it?
- 1:19:08Speaker 3: What do you call a fake noodle?
- 1:19:09Speaker 2: An imposter. Yeah.
- 1:19:13Speaker 6: See, if you came trick-or-treating to my door with that,
- 1:19:15Speaker 6: you'd get some extra candy.
- 1:19:17Speaker 7: Oh, my gosh.
- 1:19:18Speaker 20: That's so funny.
- 1:19:19Speaker 2: Hold on, brother.
- 1:19:19Speaker 3: That's great. By the way, since it is Halloween season. Yeah.
- 1:19:24Speaker 2: My fave. According to a website.
- 1:19:28Speaker 3: They did research on spookiness, the spookiness index. They looked
- 1:19:33Speaker 3: at stuff like ghost sightings, haunted locations, haunted houses, haunted attractions,
- 1:19:38Speaker 3: psychic and spiritual businesses, funeral services, and spooky Google searches.
- 1:19:43Speaker 3: And they came up with the most haunted U.S. cities
- 1:19:45Speaker 3: in the United States.
- 1:19:48Speaker 2: Los Angeles, number nine.
- 1:19:49Speaker 3: Austin, Texas, number eight.
- 1:19:52Speaker 2: Estes Park, Colorado. Oh, yeah. We were there. You guys
- 1:19:55Speaker 2: were in that hotel.
- 1:19:56Speaker 8: That's very true.
- 1:19:57Speaker 2: Is it the Overlook? The Overlook Hotel.
- 1:19:59Speaker 3: Cape May, New Jersey is number six for most haunted cities.
- 1:20:04Speaker 2: Gettysburg, Pennsylvania. Yeah, I bet. Galena, Illinois. Number three is
- 1:20:10Speaker 2: Eureka Springs, Arkansas.
- 1:20:11Speaker 7: Eureka.
- 1:20:12Speaker 3: Number two most haunted city in the United States is Tombstone, Arizona.
- 1:20:17Speaker 9: Ooh.
- 1:20:19Speaker 3: Number one is Virginia City, Nevada. It's a former mining
- 1:20:21Speaker 3: town with a spooky past and a whole lot of
- 1:20:23Speaker 3: paranormal businesses nearby.
- 1:20:25Speaker 9: Ooh.
- 1:20:25Speaker 3: Mm-hmm.
- 1:20:27Speaker 8: If you love that stuff, that's a great place to
- 1:20:28Speaker 8: travel to this time of year.
- 1:20:30Speaker 6: Like of all the things, the goblet or the ghost
- 1:20:33Speaker 6: paranormal stuff, to me, there's nothing scarier than a demon.
- 1:20:37Speaker 2: Because demons, those things are real. I don't know about ghosts,
- 1:20:39Speaker 2: but I know about demons.
- 1:20:40Speaker 6: You don't want nothing to do with that.
- 1:20:43Speaker 7: I don't play with the paranormal stuff. I feel like
- 1:20:46Speaker 7: that stuff, if you watch that at home, it can
- 1:20:48Speaker 7: come through your TV.
- 1:20:50Speaker 3: I'm out.
- 1:20:51Speaker 7: Hard pass.
- 1:20:51Speaker 6: I was going to pitch you guys that we should
- 1:20:53Speaker 6: do a Ouija board session in here.
- 1:20:55Speaker 2: And then I thought... That's a dumb thing to pitch
- 1:20:57Speaker 2: because I don't want anything to do with.
- 1:20:58Speaker 16: That at all.
- 1:20:59Speaker 7: I'm not doing that.
- 1:20:59Speaker 8: I would definitely leave the room.
- 1:21:01Speaker 10: But then I'd be like, don't do it in this
- 1:21:03Speaker 10: room because then, you know, they might just hang around.
- 1:21:06Speaker 7: That would be kind of like a good prank, though,
- 1:21:08Speaker 7: like to get a Ouija board and just start placing
- 1:21:10Speaker 7: it around the studio and freaking people out.
- 1:21:12Speaker 3: Well, the problem with the Ouija board, too, when you
- 1:21:14Speaker 3: think about it being, you know, it's a portal to hell.
- 1:21:17Speaker 3: But at the same time, it's made by Milton Bradley
- 1:21:19Speaker 3: at a toy store. How do you know that they weren't,
- 1:21:21Speaker 3: you know, like trying to open up a hellhole?
- 1:21:23Speaker 9: Over there.
- 1:21:23Speaker 5: True.
- 1:21:24Speaker 3: All right, Kyle and Fugg, what do we need.
- 1:21:33Speaker 2: To know today?
- 1:21:34Speaker 10: The Dodgers are now officially out of the World Series
- 1:21:37Speaker 10: after getting swept by the Brewers.
- 1:21:40Speaker 8: This is a big deal because everyone kind of thought
- 1:21:42Speaker 8: the Dodgers were going to take it and they got swept.
- 1:21:44Speaker 10: And now there's an interesting theory swirling around online.
- 1:21:48Speaker 11: Why?
- 1:21:48Speaker 10: Apparently, there are some big talks that are happening after
- 1:21:51Speaker 10: the season about salary caps and the Dodgers don't want that.
- 1:21:55Speaker 8: So the theory is. They threw the games because they
- 1:21:58Speaker 8: wanted the Brewers to go.
- 1:21:59Speaker 10: And they want a smaller team with a smaller budget
- 1:22:02Speaker 10: to make it to the World Series. Because then when
- 1:22:04Speaker 10: it comes time to argue, they're like.
- 1:22:05Speaker 8: Well, salary caps don't even matter. Like, we didn't even
- 1:22:08Speaker 8: make it to the World Series. The small budget team won.
- 1:22:10Speaker 2: The highest payroll in baseball. Don't they have the best players, though?
- 1:22:14Speaker 3: I heard something similar about that with the Arizona Cardinals,
- 1:22:16Speaker 3: that they want the Cardinals to lose now.
- 1:22:18Speaker 2: Well, they're doing a great job. So we get Arch
- 1:22:20Speaker 2: Manning as first pick.
- 1:22:22Speaker 8: There's been talk about that.
- 1:22:23Speaker 3: Okay.
- 1:22:24Speaker 10: So I will, I will say that there is absolutely
- 1:22:27Speaker 10: no evidence or confirmation that the Dodgers threw the games
- 1:22:30Speaker 10: on purpose.
- 1:22:31Speaker 8: It's just what people are debating.
- 1:22:32Speaker 2: So who's in the World Series right now?
- 1:22:33Speaker 8: The Milwaukee Brewers.
- 1:22:34Speaker 2: Who's the other one?
- 1:22:35Speaker 8: That's the one that's chosen right now.
- 1:22:36Speaker 2: They're just doing one.
- 1:22:38Speaker 8: I don't think we have the second team yet. We
- 1:22:40Speaker 8: don't have the second team yet.
- 1:22:42Speaker 2: The Cleveland and Chicago are still alive.
- 1:22:44Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 1:22:45Speaker 10: Google wants to make online shopping way easier. So, you know,
- 1:22:49Speaker 10: when you're shopping around, especially like with the holidays coming up,
- 1:22:52Speaker 10: you have 15 different tabs open because you're looking at
- 1:22:54Speaker 10: all this stuff for a bunch of different stores. Well,
- 1:22:56Speaker 10: Google says we're going to fix that by rolling out
- 1:22:58Speaker 10: something called the Universal Cart, where you can shop through
- 1:23:02Speaker 10: Google Search or Gemini, add products from different stores into
- 1:23:05Speaker 10: one cart. Now, right now, it's currently rolling out. So
- 1:23:09Speaker 10: you may or may not have this on your.
- 1:23:11Speaker 8: Particular Google Gemini. When it does, it will just pop up.
- 1:23:16Speaker 10: Like, it will just be an option for you to
- 1:23:18Speaker 10: add to your universal cart. And then you don't have
- 1:23:22Speaker 10: 85 bajillion tabs open as your holiday shopping, which I
- 1:23:25Speaker 10: think is actually pretty cool. Elon Musk, you guys, I
- 1:23:27Speaker 10: don't know if you guys saw this. It was all
- 1:23:29Speaker 10: over my Instagram last night. He introduced Tesla's new Roadster,
- 1:23:33Speaker 10: and this thing's insane. It uses rocket-style thrusters.
- 1:23:37Speaker 8: It was developed with SpaceX.
- 1:23:38Speaker 10: The car drove upside down, launched into the air, flipped
- 1:23:40Speaker 10: and landed onto its wheels slightly, and showed it. It
- 1:23:43Speaker 10: also went from like zero to 60 seconds in less,
- 1:23:46Speaker 10: or zero to 60 miles per hour in less than
- 1:23:48Speaker 10: a second, like 0.5.
- 1:23:49Speaker 8: Wait one second.
- 1:23:51Speaker 10: Production is actually planned to start for this car in 2028,
- 1:23:54Speaker 10: although the flying version isn't approved for public roads at
- 1:23:57Speaker 10: this time. Maybe they're trying to work on that until
- 1:24:00Speaker 10: it starts production.
- 1:24:01Speaker 8: But get this.
- 1:24:02Speaker 10: Deposits are as high.
- 1:24:06Speaker 8: As $ 250, 000 if you wanted one of these roads.
- 1:24:07Speaker 3: Hey, when you say the flying, isn't that the whole
- 1:24:10Speaker 3: catch for the car, that it flies?
- 1:24:11Speaker 6: It'll go for about a second or so because it
- 1:24:13Speaker 6: loses what they call compressed air.
- 1:24:15Speaker 2: Right, but she said that's not the car they're selling them.
- 1:24:17Speaker 10: I'm saying it's not approved for roads right now. Some
- 1:24:22Speaker 10: of the comments I saw were like, imagine this thing
- 1:24:25Speaker 10: in a car chase with the cops and they surround
- 1:24:27Speaker 10: the car and.
- 1:24:28Speaker 8: It just goes, it jumps over.
- 1:24:31Speaker 10: Obviously, there's probably going to be some legality issues they're
- 1:24:33Speaker 10: going to have to work out.
- 1:24:34Speaker 2: Plus, there's probably going to be a lot of bizarre
- 1:24:36Speaker 2: car accidents.
- 1:24:37Speaker 11: Yeah.
- 1:24:37Speaker 2: Sure.
- 1:24:38Speaker 6: And I think you're going to be competing for parking
- 1:24:41Speaker 6: spaces because it could just jump right over you and
- 1:24:42Speaker 6: go into space like checkers.
- 1:24:44Speaker 3: You'll see like a car in a A high place
- 1:24:48Speaker 3: that shouldn't be. You know what I mean?
- 1:24:49Speaker 2: Like someone did it wrong.
- 1:24:50Speaker 24: Yeah.
- 1:24:50Speaker 8: So I think they're going to have to work out
- 1:24:53Speaker 8: that part.
- 1:24:53Speaker 6: And did you see they didn't even have a driver
- 1:24:55Speaker 6: in that car that went upside down and flipped over
- 1:24:58Speaker 6: and all that?
- 1:24:58Speaker 2: No, I didn't see that. It's all automated driving.
- 1:25:00Speaker 8: It's self-driving. That's not new for them.
- 1:25:02Speaker 2: I would love to have my own. Have you seen
- 1:25:04Speaker 2: the buses yet, the Uber buses?
- 1:25:06Speaker 18: No.
- 1:25:07Speaker 3: Not buses. The Waymo? The Waymo.
- 1:25:10Speaker 2: I love those. I love the way they look.
- 1:25:12Speaker 3: You know what?
- 1:25:13Speaker 2: I've seen it twice now. I saw this in the.
- 1:25:14Speaker 3: Chicago airport the other day, and I saw it in
- 1:25:17Speaker 3: the L.A. airport the other day. And it blew my mind.
- 1:25:20Speaker 3: And here's what I saw. Picture a Waymo, but it's
- 1:25:24Speaker 3: a wheelchair. And it's just cruising down the airport with
- 1:25:27Speaker 3: no person sitting in it.
- 1:25:28Speaker 8: That's probably very helpful.
- 1:25:30Speaker 3: Yeah, I haven't seen anyone.
- 1:25:31Speaker 2: Saying it yet. Someone just goes back to the station.
- 1:25:32Speaker 2: It looks like R2-D2. It's just a wheelchair. It's just
- 1:25:35Speaker 2: going through the airport.
- 1:25:35Speaker 10: That's actually genius because you know how often you see
- 1:25:38Speaker 10: old people waiting for someone to push their wheelchair?
- 1:25:40Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 1:25:41Speaker 8: Now they don't have to wait.
- 1:25:42Speaker 2: But I haven't seen someone using it. I've just seen them.
- 1:25:44Speaker 3: I saw a guy pushing someone in a wheelchair from
- 1:25:47Speaker 3: the airport, and then I saw the remote control wheel
- 1:25:49Speaker 3: or the other wheelchair cruising by itself.
- 1:25:51Speaker 6: Maybe they're still testing them. Yeah, they're going to go crazy.
- 1:25:53Speaker 6: You're going to see that on the tarmac.
- 1:25:55Speaker 3: It was really interesting to see, but it felt like
- 1:25:58Speaker 3: I was on the set of Star Wars. I mean,
- 1:25:59Speaker 3: it was weird.
- 1:26:01Speaker 8: That is pretty cool.
- 1:26:02Speaker 10: You know all the drama with ASU's hockey team. Well,
- 1:26:05Speaker 10: they just hired a new coach from the NHL. Dave
- 1:26:09Speaker 10: Haxtell is an assistant coach with the Colorado Avalanche and
- 1:26:12Speaker 10: will now lead Sun Devil Hockey.
- 1:26:14Speaker 8: That's a pretty big name for the program. So that's
- 1:26:16Speaker 8: pretty cool. And this this is awesome.
- 1:26:18Speaker 10: There is a 16 year old soccer player. She's from
- 1:26:21Speaker 10: Queen Creek and she could represent the United States in
- 1:26:25Speaker 10: the under 17 Women's World Cup.
- 1:26:27Speaker 2: Let's go.
- 1:26:28Speaker 10: Her name is Tatum Gardner. Shout out to Tatum and
- 1:26:30Speaker 10: her family. She's been named an alternate for Team USA
- 1:26:32Speaker 10: and she's already in Morocco. training with the team, and
- 1:26:35Speaker 10: so she's one call away from getting a chance to
- 1:26:38Speaker 10: play in one of the biggest stages in soccer. So
- 1:26:40Speaker 10: I just want to support her, give her some local love,
- 1:26:42Speaker 10: and that's what you need to know.
- 1:26:43Speaker 2: Peyton, you said you're going to Vegas this weekend?
- 1:26:45Speaker 7: I am going to Vegas this weekend.
- 1:26:46Speaker 2: What's going on in Vegas? Why are you going to Vegas?
- 1:26:47Speaker 7: My mom's childhood best friend, her daughter, who is like
- 1:26:51Speaker 7: one of my, like I would consider her my cousin,
- 1:26:53Speaker 7: she's getting married this weekend.
- 1:26:54Speaker 8: How fun.
- 1:26:55Speaker 7: So I'm pretty excited, but it was last second, so
- 1:26:57Speaker 7: apparently I got signed up to drive and to take
- 1:27:00Speaker 7: my car, which is really annoying. But I am dreading
- 1:27:04Speaker 7: A five-hour car ride with my mom and my sister.
- 1:27:06Speaker 2: Is that why you were like, talk about the Stratosphere Hotel? Yeah.
- 1:27:10Speaker 2: Are you staying there?
- 1:27:11Speaker 1: Uh, yeah.
- 1:27:12Speaker 2: It's like 20 bucks. It's like the cheapest hotel I've
- 1:27:14Speaker 2: ever found.
- 1:27:14Speaker 19: No!
- 1:27:15Speaker 2: Do they even have beds in the room?
- 1:27:16Speaker 3: When I tell you it's $ 20 a night, it might
- 1:27:19Speaker 3: even be less than that.
- 1:27:20Speaker 6: Oh, really?
- 1:27:20Speaker 7: Okay, so we were trying to figure it out because
- 1:27:22Speaker 7: we were like, do we stay on the strip? And
- 1:27:23Speaker 7: I was like, I want to gamble, so we should
- 1:27:25Speaker 7: stay on the strip. But we went on Priceline to
- 1:27:27Speaker 7: find some cheaper options. And on Priceline, there's an option
- 1:27:29Speaker 7: where you can pay and it'll pick out of the
- 1:27:33Speaker 7: top three hotels. So we did it. And my mom
- 1:27:36Speaker 7: literally sent a text and was like, fingers crossed. It's
- 1:27:38Speaker 7: not the stratosphere. And we got the stratosphere. And I
- 1:27:41Speaker 7: literally was like, well, y'all can stay there. I'm going
- 1:27:43Speaker 7: to go stay at Park MGM.
- 1:27:44Speaker 8: That's what happens when you gamble. Because it's so cheap.
- 1:27:48Speaker 7: I know.
- 1:27:48Speaker 16: It's cheap.
- 1:27:48Speaker 8: It's 20 bucks.
- 1:27:49Speaker 3: You just crash.
- 1:27:49Speaker 2: You're not going to stay in a hotel room.
- 1:27:52Speaker 7: Okay, but I have a weird thing with, like, hotel rooms.
- 1:27:54Speaker 3: What do you mean?
- 1:27:54Speaker 7: Especially hotel bathrooms. Like, they just gross me out. Like,
- 1:27:58Speaker 7: they truly gross me out. Hotel bathrooms are disgusting.
- 1:28:00Speaker 8: Well, they have bathrooms. Maybe they're not that bad.
- 1:28:01Speaker 7: But they just, they said that they revamped.
- 1:28:03Speaker 8: The rooms, like, in 2020. Yeah, maybe they're, you're going
- 1:28:05Speaker 8: to be like, okay, stratosphere.
- 1:28:07Speaker 2: They put a new ashtray.
- 1:28:07Speaker 7: So I called my sister and I was like, you
- 1:28:09Speaker 7: better call and see if we can get the upgrade
- 1:28:11Speaker 7: because right now you're already, like, on my bad side.
- 1:28:14Speaker 7: for getting this hotel.
- 1:28:15Speaker 2: 20 bucks a night?
- 1:28:16Speaker 8: I mean, worth it.
- 1:28:17Speaker 2: It'd be still worth it. Yeah, Peyton's been at that
- 1:28:19Speaker 2: new Fountain Blue. She's seen the other side.
- 1:28:21Speaker 7: If there's one thing I'm bougie about, it's probably hotels.
