- 0:08Speaker 2: These are things that are bugging you, our dear friends
- 0:11Speaker 2: of the program, Things that you well, you've just had it.
- 0:15Speaker 2: You've had it at least up to hear and maybe
- 0:17Speaker 2: up to there with things that you're dead must go
- 0:20Speaker 2: from your life. And finally you're the end of your rope,
- 0:23Speaker 2: and you say, I know what I'm going to just
- 0:24Speaker 2: I'll unload on Radio from Hell and maybe they'll read
- 0:27Speaker 2: mine on the air and it might make me feel better.
- 0:30Speaker 2: And sometimes when we read these things, they actually do
- 0:34Speaker 2: leave your life. So send your muscos to Radio from
- 0:38Speaker 2: Hell at x ninety six dot com. Put musco in
- 0:40Speaker 2: the subject line and maybe we'll read it. I'll go
- 0:43Speaker 2: first today, I have one of my own. I listen
- 0:47Speaker 2: to NPRS All Things Considered fairly often, and I really
- 0:52Speaker 2: get tired of this. At the end of an interview
- 0:55Speaker 2: when the newsperson is at the end of the interview
- 0:57Speaker 2: and they say, well, so and so, thank you for
- 1:00Speaker 2: being with us today, and inevitably the person says thanks
- 1:04Speaker 2: for having me. Everybody says it every time, thanks for
- 1:09Speaker 2: having me, Thanks for having me. What should you say, Well,
- 1:12Speaker 2: why don't you say, oh, you're welcome, I really enjoyed
- 1:15Speaker 2: our conversation, or you're welcome. It's my pleasure to be here,
- 1:21Speaker 2: or I hope I can join you again sometime.
- 1:24Speaker 3: Or just anything, anything but and.
- 1:28Speaker 2: It's everybody does it. Thanks for having me, Thanks for
- 1:31Speaker 2: having me. I'm just a little variety.
- 1:35Speaker 3: Please.
- 1:36Speaker 2: Uh let's see this one is doesn't say who it is,
- 1:39Speaker 2: but we all, yes, we all know that ice must go. Okay,
- 1:42Speaker 2: uh se man dave here the prep and simmer time
- 1:47Speaker 2: to make a proper demigloss must go in men. Not
- 1:51Speaker 2: that it's not worth the effort, but I want that
- 1:55Speaker 2: symptoms sauce now I think maybe, Oh, I'll bet he
- 1:59Speaker 2: meant some sumptuous. It says symptom sauce. This one says,
- 2:05Speaker 2: this is just d My thing that must go is
- 2:08Speaker 2: having four different autoimmune diseases that need to be treated,
- 2:12Speaker 2: but I can't treat them until I get the newest
- 2:14Speaker 2: one I've been diagnosed with under control. Then insurance tells
- 2:18Speaker 2: me that I had I failed to meet certain medications
- 2:22Speaker 2: or have failed to get certain medications before I can
- 2:24Speaker 2: go on the next one for my disease. So you
- 2:27Speaker 2: have to take a medication, let it fail. And then
- 2:30Speaker 2: move on to the next one. Y, so it's just ridiculous.
- 2:34Speaker 2: My second thing that must go is cancer. Yes, I
- 2:36Speaker 2: work at a cancer center, but I really wish we
- 2:39Speaker 2: could eradicate it or do better preventative And again, insurance
- 2:45Speaker 2: that some person on the other end that follows an
- 2:48Speaker 2: algorithm to tell me what medicine I should give my
- 2:51Speaker 2: patience because it's the cheapest and not the most effective
- 2:54Speaker 2: for the patient. Thank you for letting me listen, friend
- 2:57Speaker 2: of the program since the beginning of d And finally
- 3:00Speaker 2: this one, don't use my name. The owners of the.
- 3:04Speaker 3: Company I work for must go.
- 3:07Speaker 2: They're always bragging about how much money they're making, but
- 3:10Speaker 2: they don't have enough money to give us raises. And
- 3:13Speaker 2: the last several years they've won the grand prize at
- 3:15Speaker 2: the Christmas party.
- 3:18Speaker 3: Wow.
- 3:19Speaker 1: Carry all right, let's see this one from the foot
- 3:24Speaker 1: of Mount Doom.
- 3:25Speaker 3: Your home.
- 3:26Speaker 1: Yes, every electronic thing having a light to let you
- 3:30Speaker 1: know it's on or off.
- 3:32Speaker 3: There's so much light pollution in the bedroom. I want
- 3:36Speaker 3: a dark room.
- 3:37Speaker 1: I don't need little lights on everything, the TV, the
- 3:40Speaker 1: cable box, the sound machine, the DVD player, the alarm,
- 3:43Speaker 1: the sea path, the toothbrush charging that I can see
- 3:46Speaker 1: the light from the bedroom.
- 3:48Speaker 2: Somebody please give this person a roll of masking taes.
- 3:53Speaker 3: Let's see this one.
- 3:55Speaker 1: When you go to the doctor because you're sick and
- 3:58Speaker 1: they say you haven't been said long enough and waited
- 4:02Speaker 1: out another week and then you have to come back.
- 4:05Speaker 3: That sucks. Just take care of me now.
- 4:08Speaker 1: This one here my puppy waking up multiple times a
- 4:11Speaker 1: night for nothing. Love him to death, but he can
- 4:14Speaker 1: be a sleep terrorist. This one from Candace, the older
- 4:20Speaker 1: lady next to me at the movies who kept texting
- 4:23Speaker 1: during the movie, despite the teenager she was with, telling
- 4:27Speaker 1: her that that is rude the first time she pulled
- 4:30Speaker 1: her phone out and telling her it was distracting very politely.
- 4:34Speaker 3: The third or fourth time, she just kept pulling out
- 4:36Speaker 3: her phone.
- 4:37Speaker 1: People bringing kids to not kid movies, your baby is
- 4:41Speaker 1: not going to like the loud noises and jump scares
- 4:44Speaker 1: of anaconda, So take them to something appropriate or get
- 4:48Speaker 1: a dang sitter. Having to go back to the office
- 4:52Speaker 1: full time after being at worked from home for months,
- 4:55Speaker 1: I don't want to put shoes on every day. Let
- 4:57Speaker 1: me stay home and work.
- 4:58Speaker 3: In my fuzzy slippers. Physical therapy.
- 5:01Speaker 1: I know it's good for me, but it hurts my
- 5:04Speaker 1: office not having enough parking for all of us who
- 5:06Speaker 1: work here. No, I was ten minutes late because I
- 5:09Speaker 1: had to park a couple of blocks away. Thank you Lords, Candice.
- 5:14Speaker 1: And this one from Sleepless in Sandy. My work starts
- 5:18Speaker 1: at six thirty am. For a long time now, I've
- 5:21Speaker 1: gotten up extra early in order to be in my
- 5:23Speaker 1: car by five thirty am, because that is when I'm
- 5:27Speaker 1: able to catch the playback of the previous days radio
- 5:30Speaker 1: from Hell show. Although I stream you all at work
- 5:33Speaker 1: with close captioning, I still miss certain segments of the show,
- 5:36Speaker 1: and lately between five thirty and six there's been far
- 5:39Speaker 1: too much music and not the usual program playback from
- 5:42Speaker 1: the day before.
- 5:43Speaker 3: This ruins my morning Sleepless in Sandy out.
- 5:46Speaker 1: That's partially my fault because I'm not getting here soon
- 5:50Speaker 1: enough to make those adjustments.
- 5:53Speaker 3: I just I need to fill tell six am.
- 5:55Speaker 1: You see yeah somehow, So all right, sorry about that, Gina.
- 6:00Speaker 4: Things that must go are speed textures. Let me explain
- 6:03Speaker 4: for me. I'm not the fastest phone texture. It can
- 6:05Speaker 4: be hard to keep up a conversation because speed textures
- 6:08Speaker 4: will get three or five texts ahead. Before I've got
- 6:10Speaker 4: just one cent. They think I'm commenting on the last
- 6:13Speaker 4: thing they said when my comment is aimed at something
- 6:15Speaker 4: two or three back, I find myself doing one word
- 6:18Speaker 4: text like and and butt and because, thinking it will
- 6:22Speaker 4: slow them down when I try to answer back.
- 6:26Speaker 3: Group texts are hard.
- 6:27Speaker 4: That's from page Hello, lords and lady, feel free to
- 6:31Speaker 4: use my name. It's Katie going back to the gym
- 6:35Speaker 4: for my mental and physical health and feeling so peer
- 6:38Speaker 4: pressured into group fitness class that I went way too hard.
- 6:42Speaker 4: Two days later, I'm still so sorry. I can barely walk,
- 6:44Speaker 4: much less go back to the gym. Men automatically thinking
- 6:49Speaker 4: if you chat with them you're interested romantically must go.
- 6:53Speaker 4: And finally, these from our friend Sid. There are so
- 6:58Speaker 4: many serious things that need to go, but here's a
- 7:00Speaker 4: couple muscos that might not cause such despair. Phone apps
- 7:05Speaker 4: that are named in a way that has nothing to
- 7:07Speaker 4: do with the thing that they control. Like when I
- 7:10Speaker 4: need to check if my washer is done, I have
- 7:12Speaker 4: to remember that the washer app is called home HQ.
- 7:16Speaker 3: Oh there's a lot of those. Yeah, what was that
- 7:19Speaker 3: called again?
- 7:20Speaker 4: They should be named appropriately. And also Carrie not picking
- 7:24Speaker 4: the songs anymore, what do you guys not like fun?
- 7:27Speaker 3: Well, no, we like fun. It's you guys who don't
- 7:30Speaker 3: like fun.
- 7:31Speaker 2: Apparently that's what we've been told.
- 7:32Speaker 3: We've been told.
- 7:33Speaker 1: We scared.
- 7:34Speaker 3: Listen.
- 7:34Speaker 1: I picked the music for a good almost a half
- 7:36Speaker 1: a year now more than a half a year, and
- 7:39Speaker 1: the ratings dropped, So I'm sticking with what they're giving me. Sorry,
- 7:44Speaker 1: things that must go on the radio show
