- 0:00[SPEAKER_03]: Hello, and welcome back to the Pretty Little podcast.
- 0:04[SPEAKER_03]: We are your hosts.
- 0:05[SPEAKER_03]: My name is Phoebe, and my name is Caroline, and today we're going to be talking about all things pop culture, including the always historic, always iconic MTV VMAs.
- 0:18[SPEAKER_03]: I watched them with Kelly this time.
- 0:21[SPEAKER_03]: She said, okay, and what does the V-stand for?
- 0:23[SPEAKER_03]: No, I was like,
- 0:25[SPEAKER_03]: Okay, so it's video music or isn't she goes, okay, and what does MTV stand for?
- 0:30[SPEAKER_03]: It's like music television and she was like, oh, I guess that makes sense.
- 0:34[SPEAKER_03]: It's like, you know, but it's okay because honestly, it doesn't anymore.
- 0:37[SPEAKER_05]: Like this is actually a perfect lead into like my biggest takeaway from the whole night, which is like there are worlds out there that I have no clue about
- 0:47[SPEAKER_03]: Did where some of them display it to you on the VMAs.
- 0:50[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah, so what I mean and I also think This is another working theory that I have about the VMAs and why They don't work the way that they used to the way that they felt if they did as we were growing up and I think when you look back on However long it's been since they've been on It's like 1984 Well, no culture just wait.
- 1:09[SPEAKER_05]: I think I heard 1994.
- 1:10[SPEAKER_05]: I was like that. 84
- 1:14[SPEAKER_03]: We're Madonna.
- 1:15[SPEAKER_03]: We're Madonna performed like a virgin and she had a little bit of like a malfunction with her something on stage so she just pretended to touch herself instead on television.
- 1:24[SPEAKER_03]: So like the VMAs have always been what they are.
- 1:27[SPEAKER_03]: Just for anyone who was like offended by Miley or offended by bringing him a don't like anything.
- 1:32[SPEAKER_03]: Just so you know the first ever that happened on stage.
- 1:36[SPEAKER_03]: Okay.
- 1:36[SPEAKER_05]: go on but we don't have monoculture anymore to be talked about a lot on the podcast but like we don't have
- 1:47[SPEAKER_05]: Alex Warren had the biggest song of the summer and I didn't hear it until the VMAs so like you didn't hear it I heard it like on TikTok, but I'd never listen to it in its entirety.
- 1:56[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah.
- 1:57[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah, I didn't in a songbird.
- 1:59[SPEAKER_05]: I've never listened to a songbird song in my life No, me neither So like there are these things where it's like it used to be even if you were still into like the underground
- 2:09[SPEAKER_05]: Number one with VMA is like Nirvana would have been like a counterculture movement, but they still were recognized because even the underground movements were its own mono culture.
- 2:24[SPEAKER_05]: And like now it's just you can find your niche of things that you want to listen to and know there are people that are never going to know about it and vice versa and it's like,
- 2:38[SPEAKER_05]: I mean, I feel like people, I live in Nashville.
- 2:42[SPEAKER_05]: So I don't have the same shock, but I see the shock on Twitter of like every time Morgan Wallen releases an album, and it goes number one.
- 2:48[SPEAKER_05]: I know.
- 2:48[SPEAKER_05]: Everybody's like, wait, but I don't listen to Morgan.
- 2:51[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.
- 2:52[SPEAKER_05]: And it's like, yeah.
- 2:54[SPEAKER_03]: Well, what do they call it?
- 2:56[SPEAKER_03]: What do they call it?
- 2:56[SPEAKER_03]: The silent majority, but it's just same audience, by the way.
- 3:01[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah, um, but like anything like people forget, it used to be more unavoidable.
- 3:08[SPEAKER_05]: I feel like that like there was country music that was successful.
- 3:11[SPEAKER_05]: are like now you can really insulate yourself.
- 3:14[SPEAKER_03]: Well, here's what's funny.
- 3:15[SPEAKER_03]: Here's a good take for you.
- 3:17[SPEAKER_03]: Like a good way to look at it because Kelly was like, oh, I'm so sick of all of these songs because she only listens to the radio.
- 3:25[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.
- 3:25[SPEAKER_03]: So like that's all she has heard.
- 3:27[SPEAKER_03]: Like, she's heard Alex Warren's on a zillion times and she was like, God, I'm so sick of these songs.
- 3:33[SPEAKER_03]: They're all I hear.
- 3:34[SPEAKER_03]: Like,
- 3:35[SPEAKER_03]: uh, petap, but I like to have heard one time, you know what I mean?
- 3:38[SPEAKER_03]: You're that up to the table.
- 3:39[SPEAKER_03]: But I've also made a choice not to hear that song.
- 3:41[SPEAKER_03]: Just because I Bruno Mars or something about him, I'm just like, keep him away from me.
- 3:46[SPEAKER_03]: I don't know.
- 3:47[SPEAKER_03]: Same way.
- 3:47[SPEAKER_03]: I did not know that.
- 3:48[SPEAKER_03]: I just didn't really know what either.
- 3:50[SPEAKER_03]: I used to think he was like, like, uptown funk.
- 3:54[SPEAKER_03]: I was huge fan.
- 3:55[SPEAKER_03]: Obviously, marry you.
- 3:56[SPEAKER_03]: He had his moment.
- 3:58[SPEAKER_03]: But like, since then, I just feel like in every single killings like he had his moment.
- 4:03[SPEAKER_03]: He had his moment.
- 4:05[SPEAKER_03]: with that one song.
- 4:06[SPEAKER_03]: Oh my god.
- 4:07[SPEAKER_03]: No, but he had a big moment.
- 4:09[SPEAKER_03]: You know what I mean?
- 4:09[SPEAKER_03]: We're like, during Glee era, it was like Bruno Mars was like, and everyone was like, he's the next Michael Draxton and he's just like so talented.
- 4:16[SPEAKER_03]: And honestly, we were really missing.
- 4:19[SPEAKER_03]: The type of like R and B performer who could also dance like Chris Brown and we couldn't have him anywhere.
- 4:24[SPEAKER_03]: You know what I mean?
- 4:26[SPEAKER_03]: And well, most of us couldn't have him anymore.
- 4:28[SPEAKER_03]: You should know one should be one should be having him anymore, but just just saying.
- 4:33[SPEAKER_03]: But that's another example of this.
- 4:34[SPEAKER_03]: all these people.
- 4:35[SPEAKER_03]: How the fuck is Chris Brown selling out concerts?
- 4:38[SPEAKER_03]: You know what I mean?
- 4:39[SPEAKER_03]: Like, how we're selling out stadium people who are listening to him.
- 4:43[SPEAKER_03]: And so it's like, I think the it's similar to politics or people just aren't talking about it.
- 4:47[SPEAKER_03]: If it's not like what they will know as a popular opinion, or if they don't think the audience that they are with is like on this.
- 4:53[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.
- 4:53[SPEAKER_03]: I mean, that's part of what I'm saying.
- 4:55[SPEAKER_05]: But I also think there's there's a less
- 4:58[SPEAKER_05]: I'm also just looking at it in the way of the Kelly's of the world.
- 5:02[SPEAKER_05]: Like more than what I might have been, that made it seem like maybe I was getting out of different things.
- 5:06[SPEAKER_05]: That's the other thing, as she's heard all, I haven't heard a Morgan Wallen song, you know, and like, so I just think that it used to be before the internet released, like algorithms really got as intense as they are.
- 5:20[SPEAKER_05]: There was still, like you were, if you were online, there was still like the Justin
- 5:29[SPEAKER_03]: or we just age out of it.
- 5:31[SPEAKER_05]: You know what I mean?
- 5:31[SPEAKER_05]: No, no, no, no, but I then look at the VMAs.
- 5:35[SPEAKER_05]: And that's what I mean.
- 5:36[SPEAKER_05]: It's like, because we had this conversation about how there is, I saw that one video of a girl who I think works in sociology somehow, but she was discussing,
- 5:49[SPEAKER_05]: They count how twin culture doesn't exist anymore the way it did when we were kids like there's not a target for them anymore as soon as you become a twin you're now being fed adult content yeah yeah and so I don't think it is the same of like there wasn't content there's not content being made for them so I think what I'm saying is just that like
- 6:10[SPEAKER_05]: The internet used to feel like one big town square and now it feels like a bunch of different silos.
- 6:17[SPEAKER_05]: And I think that that is affecting why the VMAs doesn't quite work anymore.
- 6:22[SPEAKER_03]: So, okay, I agree with, I agree with.
- 6:24[SPEAKER_03]: Or it doesn't work the same way.
- 6:26[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, because I have to say,
- 6:28[SPEAKER_03]: this year's VMAs was the most successful VMAs they've ever had, you know?
- 6:32[SPEAKER_03]: So like, that's crazy.
- 6:35[SPEAKER_03]: I didn't feel that when I watched it.
- 6:37[SPEAKER_03]: I was like, how are we going to go from having Megan the stallion hosting last year to L.O.
- 6:41[SPEAKER_03]: Cool day hosting this year?
- 6:43[SPEAKER_03]: Like, and we think it's going to bring in the same type of audience.
- 6:45[SPEAKER_03]: Like, it isn't.
- 6:46[SPEAKER_03]: And yet, I think it was like,
- 6:48[SPEAKER_05]: what did fire or sense you're the higher than it was last year because this is the first year at aired on CBS which makes me think it was one of that I think it being on one of the main yeah cable channels may also affect that and being around the time of it's the opening weekend of the NFL's people were already on CBS watch it's just interesting
- 7:12[SPEAKER_03]: I don't know.
- 7:12[SPEAKER_03]: I I felt I definitely agree with what you're saying though.
- 7:15[SPEAKER_03]: It's it's hard to find the monoculture, but at the same time I do feel like there is always monoculture.
- 7:22[SPEAKER_03]: There's always going to be the Lady Gaga.
- 7:24[SPEAKER_03]: You know, there's always going to be the Taylor Swift to obviously Taylor wasn't there, but like the Ariana, you know, who becomes the monoculture in the way that I feel
- 7:35[SPEAKER_03]: We used to see one direction.
- 7:37[SPEAKER_03]: You know what I mean?
- 7:37[SPEAKER_03]: Like I think it's just But it's also skewing a lot younger.
- 7:41[SPEAKER_03]: Like I will say The K-pop demon hunters girls.
- 7:44[SPEAKER_03]: I mean I again I have to sit down and watch this fucking movie.
- 7:48[SPEAKER_05]: I hear discussed on like music criticism podcasts for the last couple of weeks Mold's people have brought it up like this is actually summer.
- 7:56[SPEAKER_05]: There's another thing that feeds into what I was saying is like The song that summer being ordinary by Alex Warren is crazy
- 8:02[SPEAKER_05]: crazy because I think that that is a proof.
- 8:05[SPEAKER_03]: If we do like made for moms, it's music made for moms and grocery stores.
- 8:09[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah, it's proof.
- 8:09[SPEAKER_05]: We didn't have a song in the summer.
- 8:11[SPEAKER_05]: In my opinion, that's what we did.
- 8:14[SPEAKER_05]: and it's just, it's sad that we're kind of losing that.
- 8:17[SPEAKER_03]: Because we just stress a lot, you're a strong one last year.
- 8:20[SPEAKER_03]: I feel like we are going to have one because here's what I will say.
- 8:22[SPEAKER_03]: The need that is dire for the song for the summer has not gone away.
- 8:27[SPEAKER_03]: You know what I mean?
- 8:28[SPEAKER_03]: And I think with the absence of it this year, there was so much discourse online that people being like, what's the song of the summer going to be when is it going to come out?
- 8:35[SPEAKER_03]: So I feel like next year, marketing teams and artists are going to be like, okay, we need to get our song to the summer and for a fucking April, you know?
- 8:42[SPEAKER_03]: so that people can start wrapping their heads around it because we didn't have one last year and it was missed, you know?
- 8:46[SPEAKER_03]: So I also feel like we just returned in nostalgia.
- 8:49[SPEAKER_03]: We're having us like a community as the world.
- 8:52[SPEAKER_03]: Whatever little niche you're in, there's a return to within that nostalgia.
- 8:57[SPEAKER_03]: And I think that that could really help people like us who want a good fashion VMAs.
- 9:03[SPEAKER_05]: You know what I do agree with that?
- 9:04[SPEAKER_05]: But I think my worry is just like I think we've opened Pandora's box on the internet and I don't think we can.
- 9:12[SPEAKER_05]: But I just don't know, but I mean, just in terms of this conversation, I don't know if we can get that back.
- 9:18[SPEAKER_05]: Really?
- 9:19[SPEAKER_05]: This is Doomsday Talk.
- 9:20[SPEAKER_03]: Like, what are you trying to do here?
- 9:23[SPEAKER_03]: What are you going to do here on this podcast today?
- 9:25[SPEAKER_05]: I just, are you trying to actually be a fear-monger?
- 9:29[SPEAKER_05]: Admit it.
- 9:30[SPEAKER_05]: You know, I'm just a truth-teller.
- 9:32[SPEAKER_05]: Absolutely, truth-teller.
- 9:34[SPEAKER_05]: I feel like I see it and that is that I think we're going to keep having silos of people who listen to all these different people and it's just I don't think we're ever going to feel white the same way.
- 9:52[SPEAKER_05]: We haven't had I mean I guess espresso.
- 9:55[SPEAKER_05]: I felt like a moment, but I was a huge moment.
- 9:59[SPEAKER_05]: Chapel.
- 9:59[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah, but that's that's another thing.
- 10:02[SPEAKER_05]: I don't know.
- 10:03[SPEAKER_05]: Good luck, babe, did really well, but I don't think it was a um There's we're still we're missing a little bit more of the like Courts just commercial hits and then and I just think chapel is doing what Lady Gaga did I need to flush this out a little bit more of my brand and think about it some more and
- 10:25[SPEAKER_03]: Well, I mean, I do think you're right.
- 10:26[SPEAKER_03]: I think, as last culture, he's just spoke about man's best friend, where are the hits?
- 10:31[SPEAKER_03]: And not in a negative way.
- 10:33[SPEAKER_03]: Like, they're gonna be hits because they're Sabrina Carbender songs and people love her.
- 10:38[SPEAKER_03]: However, there isn't an espresso, you know?
- 10:41[SPEAKER_03]: She went more on this album into the land of a kind of one to play around in different styles and do what I want to do.
- 10:47[SPEAKER_03]: And I'm not trying to be song this summer as much.
- 10:51[SPEAKER_03]: Like, of course, it would be gray.
- 10:52[SPEAKER_03]: And that's in her bone.
- 10:53[SPEAKER_03]: She's gonna want that.
- 10:54[SPEAKER_03]: This album wasn't created for that, you know, and I think because of that, it's like, I feel like we've had a few albums in a row from different artists that were like that, where we aren't getting that, that hit or the hits are coming from people like Alex Warren music.
- 11:19[SPEAKER_05]: Who, by the way, he Benson, oh my god, well, let's start writing some new kinds of stuff because have you seen his covers?
- 11:26[SPEAKER_05]: No, Caroline, he is extraordinarily talented.
- 11:32[SPEAKER_05]: Oh, I, I think you're percent believe that in a great way.
- 11:36[SPEAKER_05]: You know, watch the covers because it is it's showing like if he was making different kinds of music.
- 11:43[SPEAKER_05]: He wouldn't be getting the reaction that he's getting.
- 11:46[SPEAKER_05]: I feel like it's his personality.
- 11:47[SPEAKER_05]: No, do you think?
- 11:49[SPEAKER_05]: I don't know.
- 11:50[SPEAKER_05]: It's not funny.
- 11:51[SPEAKER_03]: It's actually your personality that we hate.
- 11:52[SPEAKER_03]: I just don't like the music.
- 11:55[SPEAKER_03]: I don't know anything about him as a person.
- 11:56[SPEAKER_03]: Well, you know that he backflips every chance he gets.
- 11:58[SPEAKER_03]: And you know that we both.
- 11:59[SPEAKER_03]: Okay.
- 12:00[SPEAKER_03]: Don't start this right now because you also roll your eyes about him with me.
- 12:03[SPEAKER_03]: Because mom's like obsessed with the girl.
- 12:05[SPEAKER_03]: Not the bad for Benny Boone.
- 12:07[SPEAKER_05]: For me, for me, it's the music.
- 12:09[SPEAKER_05]: And how he's trying to carry styles.
- 12:11[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah, I don't want you to show them suits either.
- 12:13[SPEAKER_03]: But I think to me that's awesome, isn't it?
- 12:15[SPEAKER_05]: No, but I don't know, it was personality to me.
- 12:17[SPEAKER_05]: Do you like his mustache?
- 12:19[SPEAKER_05]: Everything he wants me to know about his personality, I don't like.
- 12:22[SPEAKER_05]: I want him to be a 2000's chord play.
- 12:25[SPEAKER_05]: That's what he needs to do.
- 12:26[SPEAKER_03]: Okay, well, hey, Benny, early to here first.
- 12:30[SPEAKER_03]: He wants you to be an early 2000s school play.
- 12:32[SPEAKER_03]: That's my role.
- 12:34[SPEAKER_03]: He's happy.
- 12:35[SPEAKER_03]: He's really good.
- 12:36[SPEAKER_03]: No, I can tell that he as a vocalist is brilliant.
- 12:40[SPEAKER_03]: But, but it's like, there are a lot of, look, look at Leah Michelle.
- 12:45[SPEAKER_03]: Just kidding.
- 12:45[SPEAKER_03]: Just kidding.
- 12:47[SPEAKER_03]: Look at Rachel Barry.
- 12:48[SPEAKER_03]: And now, God, she is difficult, but the girl can sing.
- 12:51[SPEAKER_03]: It's that vibe.
- 12:51[SPEAKER_03]: It's like Benny Boone, stop with the backflips.
- 12:55[SPEAKER_03]: It says in America's got talent every day.
- 12:58[SPEAKER_03]: You know what I mean?
- 12:59[SPEAKER_03]: Safe up for America's got talent.
- 13:01[SPEAKER_03]: Look what you're doing.
- 13:02[SPEAKER_03]: People on the news are just trying it out.
- 13:04[SPEAKER_03]: You're making it look way too easy, it's dangerous.
- 13:07[SPEAKER_03]: People on the news are trying it out falling on their heads.
- 13:10[SPEAKER_03]: Even, and that was a Savannah banana.
- 13:12[SPEAKER_03]: And that was a Savannah banana.
- 13:13[SPEAKER_03]: Okay, so I want to keep talking about the VMAs, but I obviously have some stuff I got.
- 13:18[SPEAKER_03]: I get off my tracks before I get into it.
- 13:20[SPEAKER_03]: For real, I know we did get into it, but we're gonna get back into it shortly and less of this philosophical discourse that's bringing our country down, like Phoebe wants to do.
- 13:29[SPEAKER_05]: Curlates making it into that.
- 13:30[SPEAKER_05]: It's not about the country or like anything like that to me, it's just, I just think it's a statement on this show.
- 13:36[SPEAKER_03]: You might have to cut this, but Phoebe's saying
- 13:40[SPEAKER_05]: No, I'm not saying that.
- 13:43[SPEAKER_03]: You can get that.
- 13:45[SPEAKER_03]: Or you can clip that.
- 13:47[SPEAKER_03]: I'm telling you.
- 13:49[SPEAKER_03]: Got it, or clip it.
- 13:51[SPEAKER_03]: Guys, guys, guys, guys.
- 13:55[SPEAKER_03]: Can't believe it.
- 13:56[SPEAKER_03]: Reporting to you live as the raining kidneys don't quaint me.
- 14:01[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, it happened again.
- 14:02[SPEAKER_05]: Hey, you're not, Phoebe, you guys by the way.
- 14:05[SPEAKER_05]: It could happen again.
- 14:07[SPEAKER_05]: It didn't happen the first time.
- 14:08[SPEAKER_05]: You wouldn't be like, they didn't come out yet.
- 14:10[SPEAKER_03]: No, no, no.
- 14:11[SPEAKER_03]: The one day, the one came out.
- 14:13[SPEAKER_03]: But I missed it.
- 14:14[SPEAKER_03]: I didn't know.
- 14:15[SPEAKER_03]: But I'll tell you one thing.
- 14:17[SPEAKER_03]: I'm nervous to say this because I don't know the doctor community coming after me But hey doctors what's up like none of you know what the other none of you know anything Sorry sorry sorry.
- 14:31[SPEAKER_03]: I'm gonna get into why I'm saying this
- 14:33[SPEAKER_03]: I know that's not true.
- 14:33[SPEAKER_05]: You heard it here first from here, I'm kind of a doctor's call.
- 14:37[SPEAKER_05]: I know that's not true.
- 14:38[SPEAKER_05]: No.
- 14:39[SPEAKER_05]: Anything.
- 14:40[SPEAKER_03]: I know that it's not true, but I kind of felt like it was true.
- 14:43[SPEAKER_03]: Okay, and I'm going to explain why.
- 14:45[SPEAKER_03]: So, let me just walk you through.
- 14:47[SPEAKER_05]: Wait, can I predict what you're going to say?
- 14:49[SPEAKER_05]: Maybe I had a similar situation when I found out I had lesions.
- 14:52[SPEAKER_03]: Oh, I bet you did.
- 14:52[SPEAKER_03]: Okay.
- 14:53[SPEAKER_03]: Well, it's that they don't communicate with each other.
- 14:55[SPEAKER_03]: Well, that, but also there's more.
- 14:57[SPEAKER_03]: So was there ever any discrepancy on how many lesions you had?
- 15:02[SPEAKER_03]: Or were they good at counting?
- 15:03[SPEAKER_05]: No, no, no, no, no, no, but this is what would happen was I was in one room with the eye doctor.
- 15:09[SPEAKER_05]: I had just gotten back from my MRI and I was, I had been talking to a neurologist because they thought that there was something going on with my brain.
- 15:17[SPEAKER_05]: It was pressing against my eye that was causing.
- 15:19[SPEAKER_03]: And guys, guys, believe me, there is something going on with our brain.
- 15:24[SPEAKER_03]: Something, they didn't figure it out that day, but I'm working on it.
- 15:29[SPEAKER_05]: Nothing amazing.
- 15:31[SPEAKER_05]: Genius.
- 15:33[SPEAKER_05]: And so I was in this pitch black room, getting six in my eyes.
- 15:37[SPEAKER_05]: The tallest was looking in every corner.
- 15:42[SPEAKER_03]: I was so cool.
- 15:43[SPEAKER_03]: I had been able to do that VV.
- 15:44[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah, I mean, it's probably what I would have said until I was in the chair and realized what they were doing and I couldn't get all out.
- 15:50[SPEAKER_03]: Did it hurt really about?
- 15:51[SPEAKER_05]: No, because I mean, they weren't going, you couldn't bring eyeball.
- 15:55[SPEAKER_05]: I guess.
- 15:56[SPEAKER_05]: They were like, oh, I don't think I'll have to keep going.
- 15:58[SPEAKER_03]: I don't think I'll have to keep going anyway.
- 15:59[SPEAKER_03]: I don't think I'll have to keep going.
- 16:01[SPEAKER_05]: This guy who wouldn't take his back.
- 16:03[UNKNOWN]: Cool.
- 16:05[SPEAKER_05]: I think that's the kind of thing.
- 16:06[SPEAKER_03]: Stay a while, Doc.
- 16:08[SPEAKER_03]: Like, take your freaking backpack off.
- 16:11[SPEAKER_03]: Oh, sorry.
- 16:12[SPEAKER_03]: There you go.
- 16:12[SPEAKER_03]: Such a funny detail about a doctor that he would not take his backpack off.
- 16:16[SPEAKER_03]: What's in there?
- 16:17[SPEAKER_05]: What's in there?
- 16:18[SPEAKER_05]: Oh my god, the computer doesn't look up and he goes to mom who you know who you know it takes everything You know super calm mild manner.
- 16:26[SPEAKER_03]: Well, yeah, mom is super level.
- 16:28[SPEAKER_03]: He's not reacting.
- 16:31[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah, no, no, no, no And he goes Do you guys have any history of like autoimmune disease in your family?
- 16:38[SPEAKER_05]: Oh, I was like How did you know And mom was like long goes
- 16:45[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah, and he goes like, let's do ya, talk back to that man still not looking up from the computer.
- 16:55[SPEAKER_05]: He goes like, Emma.
- 16:57[SPEAKER_05]: Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, no, it's really close for me.
- 17:00[SPEAKER_03]: Mom bought out of the chair.
- 17:01[SPEAKER_03]: She's like, you just shot me.
- 17:03[SPEAKER_03]: Like, why would you even say that later on they're like, that's not That's what it was, we go in the other room.
- 17:10[SPEAKER_05]: Mom's in tears.
- 17:11[SPEAKER_05]: I'm crying because I don't know what I must Mom's crying.
- 17:13[SPEAKER_03]: Like, get Phoebe little Tokyo.
- 17:15[SPEAKER_03]: It's her last day.
- 17:16[SPEAKER_05]: Mom is like so Freak out and we go in and the nurse comes in to take my blood and I'm so brave this day
- 17:25[SPEAKER_05]: Well, we'll just help on the break-in back and um, you were the guy in the blood part is less brave than the needles and eyes But like okay The nurse comes in and like sees that we've both been crying and she's like
- 17:38[SPEAKER_05]: What happened?
- 17:38[SPEAKER_05]: Well, I mean, she'd be fair, Phoebe.
- 17:40[SPEAKER_05]: You do have lesions on your brain.
- 17:42[SPEAKER_05]: That's a reason to cry.
- 17:43[SPEAKER_05]: Like, you guys are being drum-mapsed.
- 17:46[SPEAKER_05]: Oh, I don't know.
- 17:48[SPEAKER_05]: We didn't know it first of all.
- 17:49[SPEAKER_05]: We didn't.
- 17:50[SPEAKER_05]: Well, yeah, because the guy was at the computer and he was like, she just got like some things.
- 17:52[SPEAKER_05]: I think he literally said she's just got some things on her brain.
- 17:56[SPEAKER_05]: I'm sure they love her by that.
- 17:58[SPEAKER_05]: That's really how you tell someone.
- 18:00[SPEAKER_05]: That could be anything.
- 18:02[SPEAKER_05]: We're too laymen.
- 18:04[SPEAKER_05]: We don't know what lesions are.
- 18:06[SPEAKER_05]: So like to us, the only option is something that could be on the brain.
- 18:09[SPEAKER_05]: It's something drastic.
- 18:11[SPEAKER_05]: It's something horrible.
- 18:11[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah.
- 18:13[SPEAKER_05]: And so we were like, well, he just mentioned that you guys think it's a mess.
- 18:18[SPEAKER_05]: And she was like, what?
- 18:22[SPEAKER_05]: Oh my god, I say that to you.
- 18:24[SPEAKER_03]: This is and sorry.
- 18:25[SPEAKER_03]: I'm putting this on man.
- 18:27[SPEAKER_03]: Hey man, you guys are also the problem here.
- 18:30[SPEAKER_03]: Like the things that you guys think to say that a female doctor just would never say is crazy and it happened to me this weekend too.
- 18:37[SPEAKER_03]: Like the number of things, like I just I I'm moving forward.
- 18:41[SPEAKER_03]: No man will be looking at my body or poking and prodding me.
- 18:44[SPEAKER_03]: Okay.
- 18:44[SPEAKER_03]: I don't care if you're Derek Shepherd.
- 18:46[SPEAKER_03]: Get away from me.
- 18:47[SPEAKER_03]: And he's dead, so I know it's not.
- 18:48[SPEAKER_03]: So don't try to convince me your Derek Shepherd, Doc.
- 18:52[SPEAKER_03]: I know he's dead and fictional on top of that.
- 18:56[SPEAKER_03]: Well, yeah, that also is an issue for me because, all right, so here's what happened.
- 19:01[SPEAKER_03]: Guys, obviously you know, I just had about with kidney stones, and
- 19:06[SPEAKER_03]: they did the full CT right and like scan my kidneys and they were like okay it looks like you've got a couple in your left kidney and one of them is on the move and then when it starts to move that's when it hurts they're dormant otherwise so you can have a ton and your kidneys like everyone probably has them they just like might not ever leave but some people when they leave it's horrible
- 19:27[SPEAKER_03]: It's like the first time I had it, it was like, you know, obviously, it feels like nothing now.
- 19:32[SPEAKER_03]: Like it feels like I might as well have been like, like, got, got pins and needles compared to like what this last one was, I can't not even explain to you, but that was up until this past week in the most extricating moment of my life.
- 19:46[SPEAKER_03]: I'm going to Anthony and his mom's joint birth rate at her.
- 19:48[SPEAKER_03]: I'm meeting Anthony there.
- 19:50[SPEAKER_03]: He went ahead of time There was a football game whatever, so I had to get there at 7.
- 19:54[SPEAKER_03]: So I'm picking up.
- 19:54[SPEAKER_03]: It's like 6.30 and I'm picking up flowers I fresh market for his mother and I'm walking back to the car and I'm like, okay What I would know if I answered what I would have given
- 20:06[SPEAKER_03]: to be to be this to have the Emily and Toby's drawing peolee of Caroline in the freshman year at this moment nothing I was like okay chill like you you dropped the flowers you know I have to cool I was like okay
- 20:23[SPEAKER_03]: Because last in the pain was in my stomach and my back and it was on the left side of my body and this was my right back So I was like Probably isn't but it was my first thought because the pain felt so similar like it was like such a similar It makes sense of your first thought Yeah, so I Kind of been at the forefront of everybody's brain Yeah, it's so true Well, so I'm driving mostly everyone probably mostly
- 20:47[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, no, for sure.
- 20:49[SPEAKER_03]: I started driving home and I'm like, oh, no, and my mouth starts filling up with the water and I'm like I'm in a fucking dog and it literally happens again, and I was by the way This is like nine lanes of traffic going every which way and I'm crying I don't let this be happening again.
- 21:06[SPEAKER_03]: This can't be happening again.
- 21:07[SPEAKER_03]: That's what I keep saying to myself as I'm driving
- 21:11[SPEAKER_03]: I get home golf stairs throw up a bunch and then I'm like, okay, I'm Googling just to confirm that my symptoms could be a kidney sound because I'm like at this point it's been like 40 minutes and I'm like it's getting worse every second and it's so bad.
- 21:27[SPEAKER_03]: And so I call Anthony and I was like, hey, I'm not going to make it, just like, stay where you are.
- 21:31[SPEAKER_03]: I just, I'm going to go to the hospital.
- 21:34[SPEAKER_03]: And because I was in an amount of pain, I couldn't have people around me.
- 21:37[SPEAKER_03]: I was just like acting out.
- 21:39[SPEAKER_03]: Like I was like, I was just not safe and I didn't call mom.
- 21:43[SPEAKER_03]: I didn't tell anybody.
- 21:44[SPEAKER_03]: I get in the car drive myself to the hospital, get out.
- 21:48[SPEAKER_03]: I'm like, oh, like I'm not kidding you.
- 21:51[SPEAKER_03]: It was like primal animal yells.
- 21:53[SPEAKER_03]: Mom goes, they probably thought you're there for drugs.
- 21:56[SPEAKER_03]: We have probably, I get out there and I was like, ah, you know.
- 22:00[SPEAKER_03]: I make up all over my face.
- 22:02[SPEAKER_03]: It's a Friday night.
- 22:03[SPEAKER_03]: Last year, it was like 12 AM.
- 22:05[SPEAKER_03]: So there was no one there.
- 22:06[SPEAKER_03]: Oh, the waiting room's packed.
- 22:08[SPEAKER_03]: Okay, tons of people in there.
- 22:10[SPEAKER_03]: I am crawling around the floor.
- 22:13[SPEAKER_03]: Oh, not again, please.
- 22:15[SPEAKER_03]: Oh, not again.
- 22:17[SPEAKER_03]: I don't even care.
- 22:20[SPEAKER_03]: I couldn't even care.
- 22:21[SPEAKER_03]: I could not even care.
- 22:24[SPEAKER_03]: We're looking at me and I was just like what they probably also thought we're trying to know.
- 22:29[SPEAKER_03]: I don't know what they thought.
- 22:30[SPEAKER_03]: I know it was alone too.
- 22:32[SPEAKER_03]: What is happening here?
- 22:34[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.
- 22:35[SPEAKER_03]: It was all over me.
- 22:37[SPEAKER_03]: I go in the back.
- 22:38[SPEAKER_03]: And that's where it's part.
- 22:39[SPEAKER_03]: I was in so much pain.
- 22:39[SPEAKER_03]: I didn't even stop to take a freaking selfie of what it looks like or anything.
- 22:43[SPEAKER_03]: And then see that's how we know the content creation isn't quite in Caroline's.
- 22:47[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.
- 22:47[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.
- 22:49[SPEAKER_03]: I would have given my phone to someone that said, hey, can you just film us and then go to the ground and hit my head.
- 22:53[SPEAKER_05]: You're digging through your person.
- 22:54[SPEAKER_05]: I have a wringling.
- 22:55[SPEAKER_03]: I have a wringling on.
- 22:56[SPEAKER_03]: I got it.
- 22:57[SPEAKER_03]: Did I forget it?
- 22:57[SPEAKER_03]: I need to try back.
- 22:58[SPEAKER_03]: Hang on guys.
- 22:59[UNKNOWN]: No.
- 22:59[SPEAKER_03]: What's so I go to the bathroom because it keep thinking like, oh, that's the other thing.
- 23:03[SPEAKER_03]: If you're passing it, can you stone for got it?
- 23:05[SPEAKER_03]: You can't pee.
- 23:06[SPEAKER_03]: You can't do anything.
- 23:06[SPEAKER_03]: You can't walk out of that.
- 23:07[SPEAKER_03]: Which is like counterintuitive.
- 23:09[SPEAKER_03]: Yes, I keep going to bathroom to try and I like nothing's happening.
- 23:12[SPEAKER_03]: I'm like, I accidentally pulled a help button in the bathroom.
- 23:16[SPEAKER_03]: The alarm starts going off.
- 23:17[SPEAKER_03]: I can't hear it over my own yelling.
- 23:20[SPEAKER_03]: I am on the floor.
- 23:22[SPEAKER_04]: They're knocking at our ma'am.
- 23:24[SPEAKER_04]: Remember you don't get any.
- 23:26[SPEAKER_04]: And it was like, no.
- 23:29[SPEAKER_03]: And they're like okay you pull the alarm like we're coming in.
- 23:31[SPEAKER_03]: I was like wait.
- 23:32[SPEAKER_03]: No, no, no.
- 23:33[SPEAKER_03]: I mean like I'm not okay But like I don't need help.
- 23:35[SPEAKER_03]: I didn't I put it up sorry.
- 23:36[SPEAKER_03]: I'm sorry.
- 23:37[SPEAKER_03]: I'm sorry.
- 23:38[SPEAKER_03]: They could apologize.
- 23:39[SPEAKER_03]: You're like crazy.
- 23:40[SPEAKER_03]: They're like, okay So you don't need help.
- 23:41[SPEAKER_03]: I'm like You don't need help.
- 23:43[SPEAKER_03]: Yes, I fucking know.
- 23:44[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, it's been a go back out of my go.
- 23:47[SPEAKER_03]: I finally take me back
- 23:49[SPEAKER_03]: They put the like IV in my arm, but they don't fully put like the fluids.
- 23:52[SPEAKER_03]: It's just like the needle.
- 23:53[SPEAKER_03]: And I then get out of the bed again, start crawling around on the ground because it's like the only way that I feel any relief is like if I'm like in child's pose or something like and she comes in yells at me because I've been moving around she's like you're going to have to breathe a lot of your arm.
- 24:08[SPEAKER_03]: She's like it's completely sideways.
- 24:10[SPEAKER_03]: You're going to have a bopor stay if you do this.
- 24:12[SPEAKER_04]: Like she taped it down like into like I really want to be like stop taping it.
- 24:16[SPEAKER_04]: Well, they're probably in common on your chart.
- 24:20[SPEAKER_04]: Oh, my goodness.
- 24:21[SPEAKER_03]: Oh, they're really, they're like, she's like mad at that to my home, I was like, I bet they thought you were there because you were just there a month ago.
- 24:27[SPEAKER_03]: But I was like, no, no one could fake this kind of pain.
- 24:29[SPEAKER_03]: So then they gave me the first dose of meds.
- 24:32[SPEAKER_03]: And I started relaxing a little bit and then I called mom.
- 24:36[SPEAKER_03]: And I was like, I'm in the hospital again.
- 24:39[SPEAKER_03]: It's happening again.
- 24:40[SPEAKER_03]: She's like, where's Anthony?
- 24:41[SPEAKER_03]: I was like, well, I told him not to come.
- 24:43[SPEAKER_03]: She's like, crass?
- 24:45[SPEAKER_03]: Tax Anthony tell him to get the laws, but on now she said that.
- 24:49[SPEAKER_05]: Yes So yeah Do you know This is scariest types Anthony's ever received in his life.
- 24:57[SPEAKER_03]: Like mom was like dad was like Georgia He'll cut he's going like calm down to mom like mom was like he's got there and Dad texted was like, hey, are you aware like parents of the hospital?
- 25:07[SPEAKER_03]: He's like, yeah, I'm like waiting for her Up to you like I have a hurt from her and he's like, yeah, I think she just needs you to get there
- 25:13[SPEAKER_03]: to the Anthony, like, immediately left in game.
- 25:16[SPEAKER_03]: And then they had me stay overnight, and let me tell you, well, I thought it might be, fuck no, it was such a freaking rigmarole.
- 25:25[SPEAKER_03]: It took, ugh, I get up there.
- 25:28[SPEAKER_03]: got my own room, thank god.
- 25:30[SPEAKER_03]: But this point obviously not screaming anymore.
- 25:32[SPEAKER_03]: Not like I'm now like sedated by intravenous drugs.
- 25:37[SPEAKER_03]: Also I'm on the phone with mom and I'm like it's just so not a working among us to ask for more feet.
- 25:42[SPEAKER_03]: Did they not get more feet anymore?
- 25:46[SPEAKER_03]: of the one of the
- 26:00[SPEAKER_03]: They'd like it or more if I have a break of a more opinion that she's like ask she's on the phone They asked for more out talk to her.
- 26:06[SPEAKER_03]: I was like no mom.
- 26:07[SPEAKER_03]: I'm scared to ask for more Feet.
- 26:08[SPEAKER_03]: I don't want to ask for that.
- 26:10[SPEAKER_05]: It's my dealer and I look at the opposite.
- 26:11[SPEAKER_03]: I can't ask for that I'm what mom's like, okay So I get up there and it's just like every hour.
- 26:18[SPEAKER_03]: They come in they're like yellow Turn on the lights wake me up like oh hi, and so this guy comes that was kind of like crazy Not a me.
- 26:25[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, it was kind of like guys not a me this guy comes in.
- 26:28[SPEAKER_03]: He's like so
- 26:30[SPEAKER_03]: Oh, also, can I just say the light switch to the bathroom in my room was like bright red and it looks like it was like a do not fucking press this switch So it's like the middle of the night and I'm like, I need to go to the bathroom, but like I can't see shit And I'm terrified of press this light switch because it's bright red and I feel like it's I'm gonna set another alarm off So I go out in the hall and the middle of the night and I'm like, hello Is this just the life for the bathroom?
- 26:54[SPEAKER_03]: They're like
- 26:54[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, I don't really think that's why he's afraid of fucking red then anyway, um, this guy comes in and he's like, so Telling about your symptoms.
- 27:01[SPEAKER_03]: I'm looking at your cat scan right here.
- 27:02[SPEAKER_03]: And it looks like yeah, or your CT scan.
- 27:04[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, it looks like you've got You haven't passed your other kidneys don't either.
- 27:08[SPEAKER_03]: You've got a one on each kidney right at your entrance and I was like, oh, okay And he's like, so did you throw up?
- 27:16[SPEAKER_03]: And I was like, yeah, because okay, like how many times?
- 27:18[SPEAKER_03]: And I was like, well I mean, I'll just kind of felt like
- 27:21[SPEAKER_03]: Like one bit like, you know one trip to the bathroom and like whatever he goes Okay, um, how many times did it come up?
- 27:31[SPEAKER_03]: I was like I don't know I literally was like I don't know six I don't know then he goes and what did you throw up?
- 27:39[SPEAKER_03]: I said food everything I ate that day What do you mean?
- 27:42[SPEAKER_03]: He was like was it blood?
- 27:43[SPEAKER_03]: It was like well, I ate salsa.
- 27:45[SPEAKER_03]: So I don't know
- 27:49[SPEAKER_05]: She just goes a little bit to hot sauce before.
- 27:50[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah.
- 27:52[SPEAKER_03]: Then the next structure comes in and our later wakes me up.
- 27:55[SPEAKER_03]: Man, he's like, so total is going on.
- 27:57[SPEAKER_03]: I see that you passed your previous kidney, Joan and you only have the one and you're in your right kidney now.
- 28:01[SPEAKER_03]: I was like, well, well.
- 28:03[SPEAKER_03]: The doctor that was here one hour ago told me I had not passed it.
- 28:06[SPEAKER_03]: He was looking at the same thing.
- 28:07[SPEAKER_03]: You're looking at he's like, oh, no, but I'm not sure you heard that right like told me I didn't hear it right and that it couldn't be right blah blah blah Then he's like you're gonna have to make some serious changes to your lifestyle and diet no more legumes no spinach less calcium I was like, oh, babe, those aren't those are big changes We just spinach caused them
- 28:28[SPEAKER_03]: Yes, dude.
- 28:29[SPEAKER_05]: Then I have a bowl of spinach every day.
- 28:32[SPEAKER_03]: Watch out.
- 28:33[SPEAKER_03]: The girl's doctor then comes.
- 28:35[SPEAKER_03]: Okay, in the morning, and I'm like, so it's holding to cut all the stuff out.
- 28:38[SPEAKER_03]: And she goes, I mean, we have no idea what your stones are caused from.
- 28:41[SPEAKER_03]: She's like, you can cut all that out, but you could still get to get any stone next week.
- 28:44[SPEAKER_03]: Like, so I don't know why you would.
- 28:46[SPEAKER_03]: She was like, I mean, sure, but like, and she was like, you're just going to all these doctors, whatever.
- 28:51[SPEAKER_03]: And then she tells me that,
- 28:53[SPEAKER_03]: Yes, it looks like I passed that one stone.
- 28:55[SPEAKER_03]: One is still passing on the right, and I still have a couple in my left But few of it's crazy is the one on the right formed in the last month When like I've been trying to be good and like do the things else was to do and it formed in the last fucking month Do you know how scary that is to think about like that that could just keep happening?
- 29:14[SPEAKER_03]: Oh my god, this was I'm like, and hey doctors, hey doctors of America, we gotta get to work on this You gotta get to work on the fucking kidney's on epidemic because let me tell you everyone has them What the fuck everyone has them and I feel like we don't talk about them enough Don't let RFK hear this
- 29:31[SPEAKER_05]: This is why I'd be the next thing.
- 29:33[SPEAKER_03]: Well, it should be.
- 29:34[SPEAKER_03]: We were the second or the second country.
- 29:38[SPEAKER_03]: And you can tell from the sound of my fucking voice.
- 29:40[SPEAKER_03]: That's very required.
- 29:41[SPEAKER_05]: I am not well.
- 29:42[SPEAKER_05]: I just want to hear him last week and literally like any time a senator is questioning him.
- 29:49[SPEAKER_05]: He, they don't heard his microphone enough and I'm like, can we fucking work on this?
- 29:53[SPEAKER_05]: He's like,
- 29:55[SPEAKER_05]: I'm like, can we get a fucking translator here for him?
- 29:59[SPEAKER_05]: And then when they talk to me, you took you took 100 million dollars from Big Fama and
- 30:10[SPEAKER_05]: I I don't actually do pretty good.
- 30:13[SPEAKER_03]: You do.
- 30:13[SPEAKER_03]: He sounds like he's in so much pain.
- 30:16[SPEAKER_03]: I mean, this can't pay.
- 30:17[SPEAKER_03]: Go to the doctor.
- 30:19[SPEAKER_03]: Hey, you might need to go to the doctor.
- 30:22[SPEAKER_03]: Anyway, so yeah, got the kidney son again, a new one.
- 30:27[SPEAKER_03]: Just waiting for that to go.
- 30:29[SPEAKER_03]: But it's about time.
- 30:30[SPEAKER_03]: I'll tell you that much because ghost stores start next week.
- 30:33[SPEAKER_03]: And I'm hosting a kids talent show next week too.
- 30:36[SPEAKER_03]: And my musical theater classes start next week too.
- 30:40[SPEAKER_05]: So, really good timing.
- 30:42[SPEAKER_05]: Man, okay, petition now for Bowen Yang to play one of Caroline's kidney stones and we can say, oh my god, and he will win an Emmy trust.
- 30:50[SPEAKER_03]: And he will win an Emmy.
- 30:52[SPEAKER_03]: Oh my god, that's funny as fuck.
- 30:55[SPEAKER_03]: Okay, well, there were a couple other things I felt like I wanted to say, oh, oh, I was just outside, I don't know what to do about this.
- 31:01[SPEAKER_03]: I was just outside playing fetch with the dogs, okay?
- 31:05[SPEAKER_03]: They just got haircuts, they're feeling good.
- 31:07[SPEAKER_05]: By the way, is it true today?
- 31:09[SPEAKER_05]: a three-legged dog.
- 31:11[SPEAKER_05]: Could you believe that?
- 31:12[SPEAKER_05]: Was that life-changing for you?
- 31:13[SPEAKER_05]: Oh my god, it was the best thing ever.
- 31:15[SPEAKER_05]: And at one point, he got so tired that he laid down was able to wrestle himself out of his harness because he, because there's an empty hole on there.
- 31:25[SPEAKER_05]: Mate, yeah, good boy.
- 31:27[SPEAKER_05]: And he just laid in the longest grass he could find on his back wanting to belly rub.
- 31:33[SPEAKER_05]: a week.
- 31:34[SPEAKER_05]: And also the other dog was walking in the same time was like Charleston vibes.
- 31:38[SPEAKER_05]: It was a go a little bit like looked more like the bartones.
- 31:41[SPEAKER_05]: Mm-hmm.
- 31:41[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah.
- 31:42[SPEAKER_05]: It was like a straighter haird.
- 31:43[SPEAKER_05]: But um, had to be demeanor of Chuck.
- 31:48[SPEAKER_03]: Chuck is the sweetest dog I'm playing with earth.
- 31:50[SPEAKER_03]: He was really annoyed with drama yesterday though like he really was like I need space drama and drama was not listening and I had to be like hey drama, Chuck is telling you, see when his lips pull back and even see his teeth like he wants to bite your head.
- 32:03[SPEAKER_03]: That's what we've been allowed.
- 32:05[SPEAKER_03]: Um, and anyway, they're feeling good.
- 32:06[SPEAKER_03]: They want to play.
- 32:07[SPEAKER_03]: So I like they have this nerf toy.
- 32:09[SPEAKER_03]: Dude, I did not know what's new about this.
- 32:11[SPEAKER_03]: They have this nerf toy.
- 32:12[SPEAKER_03]: We like trying to rock my brain what could this possibly be.
- 32:15[SPEAKER_03]: And it's like rubber.
- 32:17[SPEAKER_03]: And it has a big rope on the end of it.
- 32:19[SPEAKER_03]: So like you can throw this thing far and very little effort.
- 32:22[SPEAKER_03]: So I like take it by the rope but I just like fling it for drama and he is just not getting tired.
- 32:27[SPEAKER_03]: So I'm like okay, I wanna do a big one and then I have to stop this.
- 32:30[SPEAKER_03]: And so I do it.
- 32:31[SPEAKER_03]: And it goes over the fence and to our neighbors, well, not our neighbors, you are.
- 32:39[SPEAKER_03]: Bouncy's off the neighbors roof and lands in their gutter.
- 32:42[SPEAKER_03]: And this, yes, this is the house that's on sale next door.
- 32:48[SPEAKER_03]: huge right blue nerf.
- 32:50[SPEAKER_03]: So I ate their gutter.
- 32:52[SPEAKER_03]: I'm like, I don't know what to do about that.
- 32:54[SPEAKER_03]: Like, I don't know what to do about that.
- 32:57[SPEAKER_04]: Like, I don't know what to do about that.
- 32:59[SPEAKER_03]: Like, I know.
- 33:00[SPEAKER_03]: I was like, I just like, right, I know.
- 33:01[SPEAKER_03]: I'm like, hey, I want to check your gutter in the back.
- 33:05[SPEAKER_03]: I don't know.
- 33:05[SPEAKER_03]: Why don't we do it all down?
- 33:07[SPEAKER_03]: I don't know where drama's like, where the fuck is it?
- 33:10[SPEAKER_03]: Drama's like, oh my god, I was playing with that.
- 33:13[SPEAKER_03]: Like, he's so annoying.
- 33:15[SPEAKER_03]: Oh my god, so I don't know.
- 33:16[SPEAKER_03]: That was the other thing I just wanted to let you know about and the other thing is that goes towards do star next week.
- 33:21[SPEAKER_03]: So Get your text.
- 33:24[SPEAKER_03]: They're in the link in bio go get your text.
- 33:26[SPEAKER_03]: It's gonna be really freaking fun.
- 33:30[SPEAKER_03]: Let's get into the VMAs Any favorite looks from the night.
- 33:35[SPEAKER_03]: Let's just get into it.
- 33:38[SPEAKER_03]: I want to admit that I got caught by AI again
- 33:42[SPEAKER_03]: I know, I know, because someone on Twitter posted this amazing picture of Gaga on the red carpet and I was like holy shit and like one of our hands was in like a point shoe and it was like a white outfit and then I see all these pictures of her like and full black obviously.
- 34:01[SPEAKER_03]: picture again with like a Twitter disclaimer that's like this is an AI generated photo But house labs is coming out with a new line that's like inspired by like a ballerina slipper and stuff So it's like, oh, fun kind of related, but I put it on our story That was a Gaga looks amazing and tons of people liked it and then I just took it down silently No one knew but now I'm telling you I got got by AI again, but what is it with AI being like such a good fashion designer sometimes?
- 34:30[SPEAKER_03]: Katy Perry, the MacGella, and now this.
- 34:32[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, it's not cool, guys.
- 34:34[SPEAKER_03]: Let's wrap it up.
- 34:35[SPEAKER_03]: It's just annoying me, but I thought that Gaga, let's just talk about Gaga, let's just start with it.
- 34:41[SPEAKER_05]: I like how, like reverent she was about the VMAs.
- 34:46[SPEAKER_05]: It was really, and they were really on her.
- 34:49[SPEAKER_05]: Yes, because I just feel like we're at a point where these award shows kind of feel like artists could feel like they're better than it.
- 34:55[SPEAKER_03]: I was like, does this feel like the AMA is just some artists, you know what I mean?
- 34:59[SPEAKER_03]: Sort of like, but I really loved how they acted because here's the thing.
- 35:05[SPEAKER_03]: And I think something that rubs me the wrong way about people who treat the AMA is that way as well.
- 35:09[SPEAKER_03]: Like, there are some people who are never going to win a Grammy.
- 35:12[SPEAKER_03]: Or they might want to grant me, but they're first going to win one of these awards, and then you know, you perceiving these awards to be below you or something that's like a, not that big of a deal.
- 35:23[SPEAKER_03]: It takes away from this huge moment for somebody like Rosé, you know, who's winning their first and it, or someone like Morgan Harry, who just won that first.
- 35:31[SPEAKER_05]: I didn't realize that.
- 35:34[SPEAKER_05]: Also, I texted Caroline during the Vanguard performance, which I don't know if we're going to call it a.
- 35:40[SPEAKER_05]: form it.
- 35:41[SPEAKER_05]: Oh, I think we are going to talk about it.
- 35:42[SPEAKER_05]: Like I was like, how is it that Mariah Carey is getting the Vanguard award after Katy Perry got some notes.
- 35:49[SPEAKER_03]: No, I know.
- 35:50[SPEAKER_05]: And I was like, hey, I love teenage dream and it's impact just as much as the next girl.
- 35:54[SPEAKER_05]: But we don't have teenage dream without Mariah Carey.
- 35:57[SPEAKER_03]: I do feel like if you're winning the Vanguard award, I believe there should be a little bit of like,
- 36:03[SPEAKER_03]: reverence for this person you know what i mean and that comes with age and time i think i agree i just think Katy Perry was too soon she's too it was too soon because now like okay this will be the perfect award for her to win in ten years the curse of the introducing someone to win the van guard award to their such Kanye West a lot of them Katy Perry those are the only two instances i can make up but they're probably they are big instances but they matter okay
- 36:31[SPEAKER_05]: But yeah, Lady Gaga, I like that, I like that she had a speech.
- 36:34[SPEAKER_05]: Like I, that's also something that's kind of surprising.
- 36:37[SPEAKER_05]: I also was harking back to, okay, so after the new heights, podcast, Jason was talking to Travis.
- 36:46[SPEAKER_05]: Like when she called you a human exclamation point, I was like, that is the best, like I've never heard anybody describe that.
- 36:52[SPEAKER_03]: Did you feel so degraded by that?
- 36:55[SPEAKER_05]: And I'm like, didn't she describe him like that last year when she won for Fortnite?
- 37:01[SPEAKER_03]: No, she didn't say that, but she said he makes every night better, everything happy and more full of joy and more full of light and he's like everyone's cheerleader or something like that.
- 37:10[SPEAKER_03]: It's similar vibe.
- 37:11[SPEAKER_05]: I just feel like we had heard human exclamation point before.
- 37:14[SPEAKER_03]: Um, it just makes you think of high school musical.
- 37:18[SPEAKER_03]: You know, Chad was the information point.
- 37:19[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.
- 37:20[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.
- 37:20[SPEAKER_03]: Accimation point.
- 37:22[SPEAKER_03]: Um, anyway, I, I thought Gaga, I loved how she had a speech, how she got emotional, and it was just like, again, I think that's an amazing example of pop stars who have been in the game for so long.
- 37:36[SPEAKER_03]: That's an awesome, easy way for you to sort of like send the elevator back down, you know what I mean?
- 37:42[SPEAKER_03]: Like other people and make it like look, this still means something to me and I'm so excited for all of you and like I believe in this award and I see how important it is.
- 37:50[SPEAKER_03]: So when you and your awards tonight,
- 37:53[SPEAKER_03]: don't treat them like they're in nothing award, you know.
- 37:55[SPEAKER_05]: I also think that for Gaga and maybe Ariana a little bit but also Taylor at these just pointing all their careers.
- 38:03[SPEAKER_05]: They, I think throughout their 20s were probably preparing themselves to be the only have that decade of start-up.
- 38:12[SPEAKER_05]: And so every kind of reinforcement that they get throughout their not older years is not the right thing.
- 38:19[SPEAKER_05]: But this new chapter of their life where like they've been led to believe that they would be discarded at a certain point.
- 38:26[SPEAKER_05]: And when they keep hitting new highs like when you have their VMA or doing the eras tour or doing wicked like all these different things, I like seeing their reverence for it.
- 38:36[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah, because it's like not only
- 38:40[SPEAKER_05]: Is it good for the younger artists that you were saying, but like for them to see that like the public still wants more for us?
- 38:46[SPEAKER_03]: Yes, totally.
- 38:48[SPEAKER_03]: Or it's like you don't need the award to affirm what you're doing or affirm your place in this community.
- 38:53[SPEAKER_03]: But to get that award is a really nice reminder that like, you still got it, you know, and we still want this from you and we still love what you're doing.
- 39:02[SPEAKER_03]: I, I love how she also said, I wish I could stay here and watch all the performances.
- 39:08[SPEAKER_03]: Like, it's a little thing.
- 39:09[SPEAKER_03]: She didn't have to say it.
- 39:11[SPEAKER_03]: But saying that also because she was leaving to go perform at MSG, which fucking crazy and so iconic.
- 39:18[SPEAKER_03]: But because she was doing that, it could have been looked at as like she could have totally treated this whole night as one.
- 39:22[SPEAKER_03]: I'm not going to show up.
- 39:24[SPEAKER_03]: instead of trying to like making this work imagine how difficult it was honestly logistically to pull off what she pulled off at the VMAs.
- 39:31[SPEAKER_03]: And it's show such a testament and dedication to again like the art to her fans to the other artists who are there and also being appreciated for their work.
- 39:40[SPEAKER_03]: It was like it's important for her to show up and make it work.
- 39:42[SPEAKER_03]: But at the same time it was like
- 39:46[SPEAKER_03]: She could have just not shown up.
- 39:47[SPEAKER_03]: She could have not seen any of the performances.
- 39:48[SPEAKER_03]: She could have shown up on the speech, not seen any performances, not said anything about it.
- 39:52[SPEAKER_03]: But the fact that she did, I just thought it was like a nice way to, to again be like, fucking pissed it up and pay attention to what you're about to see because it's important.
- 40:01[SPEAKER_03]: And some of Lady Gaga's most iconic performances have happened there.
- 40:04[SPEAKER_03]: So many iconic performances have happened there.
- 40:06[SPEAKER_03]: And it's like a reminder of like, hey, hey, hey, this is like, hallowed ground.
- 40:10[SPEAKER_05]: You know, the fact that the blood dress happened at the same night is the Taylor conia beyond say situation.
- 40:17[SPEAKER_05]: Oh, uh, and the blood performance.
- 40:19[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah, the blood performance.
- 40:21[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah, the on stage Like that's I know it's bonkers.
- 40:26[SPEAKER_03]: I remember seeing that show and She did the whole think her bell thing and she would have bleed out in the stage then you have to clap for her and she looked over at all of us that night She said
- 40:36[SPEAKER_03]: And I want you to know, this is all 100% fucking live.
- 40:39[SPEAKER_03]: You will never go to a Lady Gaga concert and see me or hear me lip singing.
- 40:43[SPEAKER_03]: And she starts singing like crazy.
- 40:44[SPEAKER_03]: And she's like, that's not what you fucking paid for.
- 40:46[SPEAKER_03]: And so watching her performance later, Kelly was like, a sheet lip singing.
- 40:49[SPEAKER_03]: I was like, bitch, no, like, but someone will...
- 40:52[SPEAKER_03]: but someone will be, but Naga, I'm the fact that she can sound like that, like, but just the artistic integrity, I feel like Ariana has it too.
- 41:00[SPEAKER_03]: I love that they were seeing next to each other.
- 41:02[SPEAKER_03]: But I also, I've never seen them.
- 41:05[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, I know sweet.
- 41:06[SPEAKER_03]: And I feel like forgot about rain on me for a minute.
- 41:09[SPEAKER_03]: So it was nice to see them.
- 41:10[SPEAKER_03]: Great.
- 41:11[SPEAKER_03]: Next to each other, never forget, fever dream that was the COVID Lady Gaga album.
- 41:16[SPEAKER_03]: One other thing about I think Lady Gaga and Ariana, it's kind of like when you're the lead in a show, okay, or you're like the senior in the, in the musical, right?
- 41:26[SPEAKER_03]: Like this is how I think about you ever response ability to like set the tone for how this is going to go and like how the rehearsals are going to go, are we going to like open our arms to everybody or is it's going to be super clicky.
- 41:37[SPEAKER_03]: It's my job.
- 41:38[SPEAKER_03]: I know you guys are all looking up to me as the oldest person or as the lead.
- 41:41[SPEAKER_03]: So it's my job to kind of show you.
- 41:43[SPEAKER_03]: This is how we acted these things.
- 41:45[SPEAKER_03]: This is how we treat them.
- 41:46[SPEAKER_03]: And I think it's a privilege and a responsibility.
- 41:48[SPEAKER_03]: And that's sort of how I viewed Gaga and Ariana, especially with the way that they treated these VMAs.
- 41:53[SPEAKER_03]: And I thought it was really lovely, especially because I found myself thinking, Rosé, hurry this shit off about her speech.
- 42:01[SPEAKER_03]: And I felt bad about it.
- 42:02[SPEAKER_03]: And I was surprised they didn't.
- 42:04[SPEAKER_03]: play anyone I noticed that all night I think a lot of the species were pretty long yeah and there was no playing off which I thought was really great maybe they learned from what didn't work when Cynthia hosted well you know it's crazy too Kelly thought that was like the first time that's ever happened and I was like oh no that's like a thing that they used to do or they still do with the Oscars but it's not normally like acknowledged that way it's just sort of a thing certainly it's normally just a song and it's not like the purpose of singing yeah
- 42:35[SPEAKER_05]: I mean, I think we said it before we listened to the last culture episode, but the way we felt about that was the same way that felt about it.
- 42:41[SPEAKER_05]: Like, you did not think, not simply us specifically the production at large, the thing that typically falls at the end of someone's speech is not necessarily the thing that you want to do.
- 43:04[SPEAKER_03]: I mean, you know what I keep thinking it was, I keep thinking it was, when the rain just fell down.
- 43:14[SPEAKER_04]: Imagine, was that?
- 43:16[SPEAKER_03]: Oh my, it was like, but imagine that was a play that was so funny.
- 43:19[SPEAKER_03]: I'll kill Bella.
- 43:23[SPEAKER_03]: Oh, I got.
- 43:25[SPEAKER_03]: I was excited to see Ari for some out in a word show that wasn't like, I mean, she's been out of word shows, but out of music or a show, which is nice to see her not wickeded out, you know, like her outfits were not wicked.
- 43:37[SPEAKER_03]: As much as I love that, we have time for it.
- 43:40[SPEAKER_03]: Her whole family was there.
- 43:41[SPEAKER_03]: And she looked fabulous, I thought.
- 43:43[SPEAKER_03]: Like, I thought she really, like, her coloring is like, she doesn't look, are they kind of your color?
- 43:48[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, I mean, but I did hear right now.
- 43:50[SPEAKER_05]: The dress, I liked the, the, the polka dots.
- 43:54[SPEAKER_05]: I liked the, like, the, like, fit of it on her, but I didn't love the metal part.
- 43:59[SPEAKER_03]: And it's like, I really liked that.
- 44:01[SPEAKER_03]: I was, I wasn't as crazy about her white one.
- 44:05[SPEAKER_05]: I can't even picture it anymore.
- 44:06[SPEAKER_03]: It was her final dress and it was like, it was sort of giving like a high school homecoming like my era, but not when I would have worn where it was like tool kind of, I was giving Ari a Montgomery, it was giving a tool white, big full skirt to the knees and then like a sheer bodice and guys by the way, everybody's prepared.
- 44:27[SPEAKER_05]: Pretty little virus fashion is actually coming back because not only did I see a post about the green or me jacket coming back Oh my god, but I so Phoebe goes I used to pray for time like they know me to you guys I love the one who's the best thing ever.
- 44:41[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah, I will make every out it meet every outfit and outfit
- 44:45[SPEAKER_05]: I cannot hurt fake.
- 44:47[SPEAKER_05]: I think I kept mine at I hope I did off get a new one, but and then me me also put out of our closet the other day Lepard print belly flats I mean ones hey they say fashion is cyclical Oh, they're new but they're like she could have had them they could have yeah, they look like Ariana Ariana Arianna Arianna
- 45:09[SPEAKER_03]: I can not wear ballet flats.
- 45:12[SPEAKER_03]: I love the trend for you guys, but a few things I remember about them.
- 45:15[SPEAKER_03]: Number one, sorry.
- 45:17[SPEAKER_03]: I'm going to get kind of graphic.
- 45:18[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, the smell horrible.
- 45:19[SPEAKER_03]: Oh my god.
- 45:20[SPEAKER_03]: Number two, slippery.
- 45:21[SPEAKER_03]: Number three.
- 45:23[SPEAKER_03]: Ouch.
- 45:24[SPEAKER_03]: It just like me slamming my foot against the concrete all the time.
- 45:27[SPEAKER_03]: I'm a platform.
- 45:28[SPEAKER_03]: You think I'm going to wear those when I'm used to wearing platforms.
- 45:40[SPEAKER_03]: Baby, let's get some new shoes.
- 45:43[SPEAKER_03]: Zero tread.
- 45:45[SPEAKER_03]: You're gonna fall down a freaking hell You are gonna fall down a freaking hell.
- 45:48[SPEAKER_05]: She was pissed and I was like, okay mom.
- 45:50[SPEAKER_05]: Hey, almost pissed Well, she was like, you need to get new shoes.
- 45:53[SPEAKER_05]: I was like mom.
- 45:54[SPEAKER_05]: Oh
- 45:55[SPEAKER_03]: I thought she was like pissed at you for wearing them in so much.
- 45:59[SPEAKER_03]: Like, well mom, well mom, sorry, she's moving around.
- 46:03[SPEAKER_03]: She's all sorry.
- 46:03[SPEAKER_05]: I'm sorry, I'm on my walk.
- 46:05[SPEAKER_03]: She's all about New Year's time, not the flex.
- 46:08[SPEAKER_03]: Okay, she's flexing victim.
- 46:09[SPEAKER_03]: I'm glad this isn't a video podcast and another.
- 46:11[SPEAKER_03]: You can actually see guys just so you know they look untouched.
- 46:16[SPEAKER_03]: Maybe you haven't even worn those before?
- 46:18[SPEAKER_03]: You know, the game must hurt.
- 46:19[SPEAKER_03]: Are you still breaking them in?
- 46:21[SPEAKER_03]: Maybe left it up her foot and it was like dripping blood.
- 46:23[SPEAKER_03]: I was like, okay, plus yours from just breaking those in.
- 46:27[SPEAKER_03]: Anyway, I loved Ari's speeches.
- 46:30[SPEAKER_03]: I thought it was just her getting all emotional.
- 46:33[SPEAKER_03]: I'm just like, and I also thought it was so cool for her to bring them music video director up because again,
- 46:38[SPEAKER_03]: And okay, sorry, I know it's like maybe it's the industry that I work in also, but like her naming every single person that fucking said that is on herd of and I've noticed her doing it and a lot of stars have started to do it more in their Instagram captions, but to take up time like that on this notice I wonder
- 46:58[SPEAKER_05]: if Ariana is part of the influence on this, but Bowen does it all the time.
- 47:02[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, I mean, it's, I think it's so important and like what an amazing way to recognize that people who are working so hard and just really people in general society to understand how much they've ended these things.
- 47:13[SPEAKER_03]: That it's not just one person, like Ariana won that award, but there are so many people who are involved in the creation of that who also won that award.
- 47:21[SPEAKER_03]: You know what I mean?
- 47:22[SPEAKER_03]: And for her to bring the director up, I thought it was amazing because
- 47:25[SPEAKER_03]: like a lot of people don't get the opportunity to say thank you at an award show so to have that to bring everything back to Taylor but like that's a paid attention.
- 47:32[SPEAKER_03]: I know.
- 47:33[SPEAKER_03]: I know.
- 47:34[SPEAKER_03]: And that is a really something I just like I was saying about how Ari and Gaga kind of did this at the VMAs where they were sort of like okay we're the seniors and we're going to show you how to act.
- 47:44[SPEAKER_03]: Taylor has been doing that for years and a lot of these stars have taken pages out of her books and it's like we just
- 47:52[SPEAKER_03]: We just take that behavior for granted and people say it's so annoying and put on and here's the deal even if it was put on who cares She's still doing it, but it's not put on.
- 48:01[SPEAKER_03]: It's it's who she is when no one's watching and that's like what we found out, you know, but I don't know I just anyway Let's head with performances.
- 48:10[SPEAKER_03]: So billboard subitates performance was the best of the evening.
- 48:13[SPEAKER_03]: What do you think about that?
- 48:15[SPEAKER_05]: Well, I think that's wrong.
- 48:16[SPEAKER_05]: I think Sabrina's was, but I do think Tate was really good, but here's another thing that I missed from the VMAs.
- 48:23[SPEAKER_05]: I wish they would lean into the messiness a little more like that.
- 48:25[SPEAKER_00]: Me too.
- 48:26[SPEAKER_05]: Because I could LaRoy was there.
- 48:28[SPEAKER_05]: So like, there were opportunities.
- 48:30[SPEAKER_05]: I wanted a little bit of like Tate looking like how she looked.
- 48:34[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.
- 48:35[SPEAKER_05]: I was having to see the little bitch away.
- 48:36[SPEAKER_05]: I could look right.
- 48:38[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah, the cry.
- 48:39[SPEAKER_03]: Okay, you heard it in your first bitch boys new name, kid the cry.
- 48:43[SPEAKER_03]: You have the cry, get to bed.
- 48:45[SPEAKER_03]: Um, yeah, I, I agree.
- 48:49[SPEAKER_03]: That is one of the other things that's, and we had it last year too with Taylor's dancing.
- 48:53[SPEAKER_03]: Taylor getting drunk is always fun.
- 48:55[SPEAKER_03]: Like, but we just, what I will say about his performance.
- 48:59[SPEAKER_05]: What I did really, I liked it a lot.
- 49:02[SPEAKER_05]: I, okay, actually there are things I liked about this performance that I liked better than I like to experience like I wish Sabrina had done more than one song maybe.
- 49:10[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah, I was interested in the decisions to do revolving door.
- 49:15[SPEAKER_05]: As her other song, I think there were other options I could have been good.
- 49:19[SPEAKER_03]: But wait wait, is that what she started with?
- 49:21[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah, so I mean, and then I just thought it was okay.
- 49:23[SPEAKER_05]: Sports card made sense.
- 49:24[SPEAKER_05]: It was like the hit, but like I just feel like revolving door.
- 49:26[SPEAKER_03]: Well, she was going for it like it was a big vocal moment, too.
- 49:30[SPEAKER_03]: And I was just like, oh, we don't have to like, your name's our best but for it.
- 49:34[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, I mean, not that she doesn't sound good, but like, I was just like, you're like, I don't think she would say I'm a singer first.
- 49:40[SPEAKER_03]: So why are we going to start at the VMAs?
- 49:41[SPEAKER_03]: Because also the VMAs is your chance to shine if you're a dancer.
- 49:45[SPEAKER_03]: Like that is the opportunity to give me the old school music videos with the dancing, you know?
- 49:50[SPEAKER_03]: She definitely did.
- 49:51[SPEAKER_05]: I mean, I thought it was in what's so cool in the way.
- 49:57[SPEAKER_03]: Can I say a couple of things I didn't like?
- 49:59[SPEAKER_03]: Well, it's really just one.
- 50:00[SPEAKER_03]: Sure.
- 50:01[SPEAKER_03]: Like don't be barefoot I know I know she'd be in sand, but it took me out of it.
- 50:07[SPEAKER_03]: Seeing her stomping around there I'm not joking out.
- 50:10[SPEAKER_03]: No, it's not even notice
- 50:13[SPEAKER_05]: I think I didn't notice if she had shoes on, I would have been like, bads for you.
- 50:16[SPEAKER_03]: No, because she needed to have shoes on, like for the, it just like makes everything look so unfinished.
- 50:21[SPEAKER_03]: I feel like when a star comes out barefoot, I'm just like, put on some fucking heels.
- 50:25[SPEAKER_03]: Come on, like it's the VM.
- 50:26[SPEAKER_03]: You know, she's a dancer at heart.
- 50:27[SPEAKER_03]: So I wonder if it's the miracle.
- 50:29[SPEAKER_05]: I know.
- 50:29[SPEAKER_03]: But I'm like, especially with all the things she's doing with her legs, but elongate the leg so much, like the lines would look so much better.
- 50:36[SPEAKER_03]: with a little Duke, just kind of like Duke on that foot, just for the dance number, but I know you can see it.
- 50:41[SPEAKER_03]: Phoebe, you haven't seen Pretty The Duke, as you don't know what I'm talking about.
- 50:45[SPEAKER_03]: I hope I don't.
- 50:46[SPEAKER_03]: They like Taylor, Taylor's more in the Duke as people wear it.
- 50:49[SPEAKER_03]: Like they make them custom for people.
- 50:52[SPEAKER_03]: She could have worn a little something.
- 50:54[SPEAKER_03]: Didn't have to be the Duke, but some sort of shoe that was like for dancing.
- 50:57[SPEAKER_03]: You know what I was saying?
- 50:58[SPEAKER_03]: Or like boots.
- 51:00[SPEAKER_03]: I don't know.
- 51:01[SPEAKER_03]: I just don't like them.
- 51:01[SPEAKER_03]: I'm not on your side here, but that's okay.
- 51:04[SPEAKER_03]: Okay, um, but I just go to exposure therapy for care on everybody.
- 51:08[SPEAKER_03]: Whatever, I hate that so much.
- 51:09[SPEAKER_03]: I hate exposure therapy didn't ask for it.
- 51:12[SPEAKER_03]: You're not a therapist, I'm going to string it things a lot, but I just didn't like the barefoot.
- 51:17[SPEAKER_03]: I can't say that I think her.
- 51:20[SPEAKER_03]: performance was better than Sabrina's though either.
- 51:22[SPEAKER_03]: Sabrina's actually on my jaw on the floor.
- 51:24[SPEAKER_03]: I will say.
- 51:25[SPEAKER_05]: I thought, I think I might have said this on Mike about her music video for fast times, which is the first single for emails I can't send.
- 51:36[SPEAKER_05]: And I remember watching that music video and being like, this is like,
- 51:41[SPEAKER_05]: Britney, like her choreography and that music video and I also felt that way about she's all what she's all I want to be by Taylor Crying Nancy and that music video is amazing as well.
- 51:51[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah, but I was harking back to that
- 51:56[SPEAKER_05]: I always forget Sabrina can like really dance and then I was Harkin backed that music video as soon as she stepped into that the water.
- 52:03[SPEAKER_05]: I was like, oh my god.
- 52:06[SPEAKER_03]: It was such a great callback and honestly on a night where I'm I'm always like okay Tate is the Brittany girl and we do the Brittany biopic it's gonna be Tate like she she knows it too look at the clothes that she wears like what she wore to last year's VMAs like she's going for it and so she does her number and I'm like
- 52:26[SPEAKER_03]: But then we fucking go into Sabrina.
- 52:28[SPEAKER_03]: It was almost like a Brittany off, like an audition for who, because, um, I mean, Sabrina was going to call back to an exact look that Brittany did for hit me maybe one more time, I think, right?
- 52:37[SPEAKER_03]: Um, yes.
- 52:39[SPEAKER_03]: Or... Is there where she went more time?
- 52:43[SPEAKER_03]: Is that when she's in the, um,
- 52:46[SPEAKER_05]: the school uniform.
- 52:48[SPEAKER_03]: I'm pretty sure that's the performance though that she.
- 52:51[SPEAKER_05]: Oh, okay.
- 52:52[SPEAKER_05]: It definitely wasn't pretty good.
- 52:53[SPEAKER_05]: I just can't think of what it was.
- 52:55[SPEAKER_05]: But Tate, the thing I think Sabrina has the acting chops.
- 52:58[SPEAKER_05]: I don't think Tate does.
- 52:59[SPEAKER_05]: Tate has the voice.
- 53:00[SPEAKER_05]: She sounds more like Brittany than Sabrina does, but I think I would like to see Sabrina in the role.
- 53:08[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, I'm trying to find it.
- 53:11[SPEAKER_03]: I can't tell if I'm wrong or right, someone will tell me though.
- 53:17[SPEAKER_03]: But I'll tell you initially with Sabrina's look, I did not like the dark bottoms.
- 53:21[SPEAKER_03]: before she took off her dress.
- 53:22[SPEAKER_05]: Oh, well, I was like confused by the whole look because she looked like the top was very like $70.
- 53:29[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah.
- 53:30[SPEAKER_05]: Well, that's another thing that I was a little confused about because I was like, but I was just like, then when her hair got wet and her hair looks like that, I'm like, Sabrina, I think we can stop with the curls like we've been doing.
- 53:41[SPEAKER_05]: I know.
- 53:42[SPEAKER_05]: I think when your hair looks a little longer in the... Yeah.
- 53:47[SPEAKER_03]: Well, I was like that's I didn't like her hair in the beginning and then I was like, oh, I didn't like it because she wasn't wearing a wig because later on just going to put a wig on to go accept this award later and like because her hair is all that so like that was why I realized why she wasn't wearing them, but I
- 54:02[SPEAKER_03]: I do think you're hair like I'm like yeah give it a break on the curls because you're hair Loki for looking for you know what I mean and I just don't hurt like and I think you're gonna have to do it one more long yeah I could go warmer such a way a little bit more relaxed and not do the curls as crazy but that's what I think that works for going into the 70s
- 54:22[SPEAKER_03]: absolutely, but then there were elements of the performance that I was like, okay, this is a feeling 70s to me, especially the Brittany call, but I mean, I was like, this is like giving 90s early 2000s.
- 54:30[SPEAKER_03]: So it's just an interesting, whatever, but also a really amazing moment for her to see an effort trans rights for the first time we've really seen her do so not that she hasn't
- 54:45[SPEAKER_05]: I mean, I don't want to say she never has, but this feels like the first time she's really done like something that a big artist wouldn't do.
- 54:52[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah.
- 54:53[SPEAKER_05]: It's the first time I feel like she hasn't felt the stakes of it, maybe.
- 54:56[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, I agree.
- 54:57[SPEAKER_03]: And I honestly feel like that, and arguably at a time in the stakes or the highest, you know,
- 55:02[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah, I just meant career-wise.
- 55:04[SPEAKER_05]: Like she had before it would have been more of like a an it could have been seen by some people on her team.
- 55:11[SPEAKER_05]: I mean, like an alienating her.
- 55:13[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah.
- 55:13[SPEAKER_05]: And so that could have been why she was a little bit weary.
- 55:16[SPEAKER_05]: I don't know that she was, but I just mean this is she's now at a point in her career wife where I feel like she should probably feel stable enough.
- 55:22[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, and I think this yeah feels stable enough and also profiles the responsibility like too that she when you're a little bit smaller you can get away with keeping your mouth shut a little more because you can tell yourself that your pull isn't that big or whatever but at a moment like that especially the VMA is I think like
- 55:40[SPEAKER_03]: And I want to say it reminded me of Miley Cyrus, which she hosted, and she had her happy hippie foundation, and it's something similar.
- 55:49[SPEAKER_05]: But what's also just like, for the kind of music that she's making, it's important for her to talk about that community, especially like it was like she was looking at the new work aspect of what kind of like what Beyonce was looking at for
- 56:04[SPEAKER_05]: Renaissance, but also just in that whole room, I mean queer people build up so much in the industry that you were kind of familiar.
- 56:12[SPEAKER_03]: And like so much of our inspiration, especially if you're looking at disco and not kind of a genre, like so much comes from that community.
- 56:19[SPEAKER_03]: And you know, to give them their flowers in that way, it was really really awesome, especially at a time when I think,
- 56:25[SPEAKER_03]: people are probably more scared to be speaking out about things like this and it's like well that that means we need it more now than we ever have and another thing I thought was really neat about her is Willa one of the famous drug queens from RuPaul posted that out of all the performances she's ever done every person she's ever worked with Sabrina was the kindest and the only person that ever said okay do you guys all like how you look you like her outfits
- 56:51[SPEAKER_03]: And she, like, genuinely asked that question.
- 56:53[SPEAKER_03]: What an important question that is to ask, especially when I look at the scope, like how many people there were, and I wonder if someone would have said, you know, no, and what how she would have taken steps to fix that.
- 57:04[SPEAKER_03]: But I thought that was like a really neat, and I love that people pull back the curtain and show us moments where like, this is a moment, none of us would have known about, but to see how it's also the idea of like, we're not just like commodifying this community, you know, it's like,
- 57:16[SPEAKER_03]: I went into feel very much a part of this and feel comfortable and happy to be here and like think of this as a really, really positive step forward.
- 57:23[SPEAKER_03]: So I thought it was really, really neat, really impressive and good for her.
- 57:30[SPEAKER_03]: I also loved her afterparty look and it looks like she turned 54 below, studio 54 below, studio 54 into Sabrina 54 and did she host the afterparty?
- 57:47[SPEAKER_05]: That I that I would expect to yeah be at the VMA after party, but I I don't know I didn't see any other pictures, but I thought she was great.
- 57:54[SPEAKER_05]: It was a there's a Share Tina Turner performance, and that's the dress that share war.
- 58:00[SPEAKER_05]: It's it's I let's not the exact address, but I prefer that to Me too.
- 58:05[SPEAKER_05]: I don't know and I also on the carpet someone treated this why does she kind of look like him meaning Barry the way that the
- 58:15[SPEAKER_05]: But her con tour made her face look much square or a bit more more dark.
- 58:18[SPEAKER_03]: Love to make up for the right man.
- 58:21[SPEAKER_03]: It made her look like she had, I was like, did she get a bunch of work done before this?
- 58:25[SPEAKER_03]: Well, she looked different.
- 58:26[SPEAKER_03]: I also, I just was like, I liked the red, but I didn't like the lilac boa.
- 58:31[SPEAKER_03]: And honestly, the boa looked like three of those tiny little cheap boa's.
- 58:34[SPEAKER_03]: I mean, you just have in our dress-up box.
- 58:37[SPEAKER_03]: And I was just like, if you're gonna do this, I needed to be like a full ass lavish looking feather Bella.
- 58:43[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, so it wasn't, wasn't crazy about that.
- 58:45[SPEAKER_03]: What do you think about the trend?
- 58:46[SPEAKER_03]: Okay, talking about Doja Cat here, and I guess Megan Stalter, this trend was like, brands like using red carpet opportunities as a brand real moments.
- 58:57[SPEAKER_03]: I don't really think I like it.
- 58:59[SPEAKER_05]: I don't mind it from my stalter.
- 59:01[SPEAKER_03]: For mixed culture it makes sense although I am like are we going to do this every single time like No, yeah, I think that this fell out an interesting time.
- 59:10[SPEAKER_05]: I died at Coke wasn't an actual That wasn't an actual sponsorship.
- 59:14[SPEAKER_05]: So I think that may but maybe Duncan saw that and they were like, oh, this could be interesting
- 59:20[SPEAKER_03]: Well, I'm really talking about Doja Cat eating the lipstick.
- 59:23[SPEAKER_03]: Did you see this?
- 59:24[SPEAKER_03]: No.
- 59:25[SPEAKER_03]: Okay.
- 59:26[SPEAKER_03]: So she's on the red carpet and she looks driving Doja Cat is so beautiful and she's a fabulous performer.
- 59:31[SPEAKER_05]: And I thought she was really good.
- 59:32[SPEAKER_03]: When was it that she did her like old Broadway style performance?
- 59:36[SPEAKER_03]: Do you remember that?
- 59:37[SPEAKER_05]: No, but I wonder Snoop was watching the VMAs.
- 59:39[SPEAKER_05]: Because who opened it with her?
- 59:44[SPEAKER_05]: Snoop's favorite artist.
- 59:46[SPEAKER_03]: Okay, Kenny G. Kenny G. I thought you meant Snoop Dogg and I was like where we got it at this I did or dog Snoop Dogg is a big Kenny G fan Big big dog not the human being who is like really probably me out lately.
- 59:59[SPEAKER_03]: I have to say yeah
- 1:00:02[SPEAKER_03]: Lots of things, I'm not loving, from Snoop Dogg, but any Hill.
- 1:00:07[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, I know that I was going to text you guys and be like, it's Kenny G. I actually like immediately looked up to see if my dogs were going to do anything and then I realized those aren't the dogs that have the thing for Kenny G. But that was the first time you found out Snoop could sing.
- 1:00:17[SPEAKER_03]: I was playing Kenny G when he who showed up in Anton.
- 1:00:21[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, it was, filled Kim's house with roses and had Kenny G in the middle playing the saxophone.
- 1:00:27[SPEAKER_03]: And I played the video and Snoop was like,
- 1:00:32[SPEAKER_03]: Like, it was like not a bark, it was like a real saying.
- 1:00:35[SPEAKER_03]: And now he does it when I say, but it's so weird.
- 1:00:38[SPEAKER_03]: And we can't eat you place a saxophone.
- 1:00:39[SPEAKER_03]: It's all there.
- 1:00:40[SPEAKER_03]: It's like a very specific thing.
- 1:00:41[SPEAKER_05]: Back through your Finstah has been what I should, what a gorgeous thing for me.
- 1:00:47[SPEAKER_03]: What a treat.
- 1:00:49[SPEAKER_03]: Oh my God.
- 1:00:50[SPEAKER_03]: What was I saying?
- 1:00:52[SPEAKER_03]: Oh, so Jojika is on the carpet and she's got red lipstick and she starts like going around and she's she's doing a partnership with Mac and she goes Takes the bite of the lipstick starts eating the lipstick on the red carpet and I was like, how is this not getting all over her teeth?
- 1:01:06[SPEAKER_03]: Well, it was a piece of chocolate.
- 1:01:07[SPEAKER_03]: You know that guy He seems like a Mario or something and he like makes his crazy chocolate creations.
- 1:01:12[SPEAKER_03]: He made it to look like a Mac lipstick And it was fully audible chocolate and it was all like a part of her Mac campaign.
- 1:01:19[SPEAKER_03]: She's the new face of like their red lipstick
- 1:01:22[SPEAKER_03]: And I just like I don't know.
- 1:01:23[SPEAKER_03]: I don't know what I think about it.
- 1:01:24[SPEAKER_03]: She doesn't love it a little bit.
- 1:01:26[SPEAKER_03]: I think it'll get a little quick.
- 1:01:28[SPEAKER_03]: Me too.
- 1:01:29[SPEAKER_03]: And I feel like, I don't know.
- 1:01:31[SPEAKER_03]: Also, okay, talking about my installs are her announcing me a word.
- 1:01:35[SPEAKER_03]: I was like, what's going on?
- 1:01:37[SPEAKER_03]: Like, I know this is like your thing.
- 1:01:38[SPEAKER_03]: But I felt like she for a minute was like, okay, this is not my audience.
- 1:01:41[SPEAKER_03]: They're not getting in.
- 1:01:42[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, you're awkward.
- 1:01:42[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.
- 1:01:43[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.
- 1:01:43[SPEAKER_03]: And then I've never seen her like how that moment.
- 1:01:46[SPEAKER_05]: I loved in the Duncan commercial that they actually made though where she like,
- 1:01:51[SPEAKER_05]: Did you see it?
- 1:01:53[SPEAKER_05]: No.
- 1:01:54[SPEAKER_05]: So she like is walking back stage in her outfit and she's like where is her stinking and he had dunk in and she goes and then she and the girl come in the same outfit and then the guy that let her out the door thinks that the other girl is actually megstulter somehow.
- 1:02:07[SPEAKER_05]: I don't know anyway, he lets her go and he's like who is that and she goes megstulter and he's like who is she she goes she's not for everyone but people that the people that like her really like her
- 1:02:22[SPEAKER_05]: I'm so hilarious, commercial.
- 1:02:24[SPEAKER_05]: That is true.
- 1:02:25[SPEAKER_05]: That's exactly wrong for everyone.
- 1:02:27[SPEAKER_05]: And also by the way, I think mom has like, she's like, I think she's like, she's like, amnesia for Meg's stalker because every time she sees her, she thinks it's a different person.
- 1:02:36[SPEAKER_03]: She goes really.
- 1:02:36[SPEAKER_03]: She asked us if it was Lindsay low hand.
- 1:02:39[SPEAKER_03]: and I said to me, John, it said to me, it was like, is this real, like, first of all?
- 1:02:42[SPEAKER_05]: And we have word show.
- 1:02:44[SPEAKER_05]: We have to tell mom who that isn't she watches, the show that she's on, but she was just gonna say it.
- 1:02:55[SPEAKER_05]: I don't know.
- 1:02:56[SPEAKER_05]: Oh, did you see the Ariana Grande fan account tweet that Megan, Meg included in her photo dump from the VMAs we were?
- 1:03:04[SPEAKER_05]: I think they called her Ava Max.
- 1:03:06[SPEAKER_05]: Well, they said, and then they said apparently I was going to even Max, I don't know who it is.
- 1:03:09[SPEAKER_03]: They're like pissed off.
- 1:03:13[SPEAKER_03]: I don't know who is this.
- 1:03:15[SPEAKER_03]: If it's not Ava Max, I don't know, then.
- 1:03:17[SPEAKER_03]: Why are they here?
- 1:03:18[SPEAKER_03]: It's probably just one of those things.
- 1:03:19[SPEAKER_03]: This is me, oh my god.
- 1:03:21[SPEAKER_03]: Okay, next thing I want to say is I'm getting a 12 foot
- 1:03:25[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, a couple times did I say it on the pod?
- 1:03:28[SPEAKER_03]: Oh, no, but I think that doesn't count.
- 1:03:30[SPEAKER_03]: Shut up, but it doesn't count.
- 1:03:31[SPEAKER_03]: I posted on my personal close friends and I said, I want to get a 12-foot skeleton, but they're $300, which is crazy.
- 1:03:37[SPEAKER_03]: I was like, I'm not paying that because I want to do something for work that I think could go viral, but I'm not paying $300 to do it.
- 1:03:46[SPEAKER_03]: So then I found one on eBay for 50 bucks.
- 1:03:48[SPEAKER_03]: It should get here Thursday.
- 1:03:50[SPEAKER_03]: Play, pray, pray that all the pieces are there because if they're all there, you guys, I'm painting a metallic pink.
- 1:03:55[SPEAKER_03]: And I'm going to put it on the walkway in between my house and the other person's house.
- 1:03:59[SPEAKER_03]: You know, as long as little neighbor approves.
- 1:04:05[SPEAKER_05]: But won't that be fun?
- 1:04:06[SPEAKER_05]: It will be, I'm excited.
- 1:04:08[SPEAKER_05]: I love that very busy street, guys.
- 1:04:10[SPEAKER_05]: You do, it's going to be fun.
- 1:04:11[SPEAKER_05]: It's going to be like almost better than the house on that one street.
- 1:04:17[SPEAKER_05]: in our neighborhood, but it's like, it's not a busy street, so you don't, people, yeah, people hate that one.
- 1:04:24[SPEAKER_05]: Oh, mom links, so no, she doesn't, she told me she does, she always had to address it up.
- 1:04:32[SPEAKER_03]: Oh, well, a lot of people don't like it.
- 1:04:35[SPEAKER_03]: Some people are smarter than they were like, why don't you just go take it from this person's yard, because we can't stand them having it.
- 1:04:40[SPEAKER_03]: Literally, not get it.
- 1:04:42[SPEAKER_03]: But I don't know.
- 1:04:43[SPEAKER_03]: They're like, well, okay, then why do mom say to me, Goose, you cannot leave this up.
- 1:04:48[SPEAKER_03]: You're around.
- 1:04:48[SPEAKER_03]: This is the Halloween decoration.
- 1:04:50[SPEAKER_03]: If she loves there so much, then why would she say that to me?
- 1:04:52[SPEAKER_03]: I don't know.
- 1:04:54[SPEAKER_03]: It's because I want to say that to me.
- 1:04:57[SPEAKER_05]: Okay, I want to ask you a question.
- 1:05:00[SPEAKER_05]: What?
- 1:05:00[SPEAKER_05]: Because now, bachelor nation dot scoop is posting the real of Alex Cooper.
- 1:05:05[SPEAKER_05]: People are really thinking that she could be the next host.
- 1:05:08[SPEAKER_03]: Oh, fucking way, that just seems like you need to tell people what you're talking about.
- 1:05:12[SPEAKER_05]: So there are Alex who proposes something on Monday of her cutting a cake that says season 30, the last bachelor at season that aired was season 29, and it's her cutting into it, and it's pink icing, and the caption says change of plans with a rose.
- 1:05:29[SPEAKER_03]: It, okay, obviously the signs are pointing there, but it just seems like such a step down for Alex.
- 1:05:38[SPEAKER_03]: Unless they're paying her like a baby.
- 1:05:39[SPEAKER_03]: And she's getting her own dating show.
- 1:05:41[SPEAKER_03]: Why would she do this?
- 1:05:41[SPEAKER_03]: Isn't that like a conflict of interest?
- 1:05:45[SPEAKER_03]: I wonder.
- 1:05:46[SPEAKER_03]: Now a Gabby Windy is hosting her new dating show.
- 1:05:50[SPEAKER_05]: I wonder if they're, I don't know.
- 1:05:52[SPEAKER_05]: I'm just saying this will people are saying I could be right.
- 1:05:55[SPEAKER_03]: I mean, it's not like I'm the only person saying this.
- 1:05:57[SPEAKER_03]: Maybe the only person saying this theory.
- 1:05:59[SPEAKER_03]: And we're like, come on.
- 1:06:00[SPEAKER_03]: No, this could be it, but don't you agree with me.
- 1:06:02[SPEAKER_03]: This seems like a step down for her.
- 1:06:05[SPEAKER_03]: Unless they're paying her a lot of money.
- 1:06:07[SPEAKER_03]: But even so, it also, sorry, the audience of Bachelor Nation leans a lot more conservative than I think her audience does.
- 1:06:18[SPEAKER_03]: So it would surprise me, unless they're trying to go for a whole new look, which it did seem like they were doing a Bachelor of Paradise.
- 1:06:23[SPEAKER_03]: But that's paradise.
- 1:06:25[SPEAKER_03]: You know, it's like a big ball game.
- 1:06:27[SPEAKER_05]: I wouldn't be crazy.
- 1:06:29[SPEAKER_05]: I you know who is you know who's gonna be pissed You know who's gonna be pissed if that's men Nick Bye.
- 1:06:35[SPEAKER_03]: Oh, okay, you know what I noticed it.
- 1:06:37[SPEAKER_03]: I not like air out in other podcasts already laundry, but it's public knowledge Because rating is 3.9
- 1:06:43[SPEAKER_05]: I think that does happen with so many really massive podcasts maybe because they just get so many more ratings.
- 1:06:50[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, yeah.
- 1:06:51[SPEAKER_03]: That's like real good.
- 1:06:52[SPEAKER_03]: But like gigless.
- 1:06:53[SPEAKER_03]: Why does like five stars?
- 1:06:55[SPEAKER_03]: Great David.
- 1:06:56[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.
- 1:06:56[SPEAKER_03]: So I mean, and they have way more ratings than Nick.
- 1:07:00[SPEAKER_03]: Well, they're like a way bigger podcast than Nick.
- 1:07:04[SPEAKER_03]: which is insane.
- 1:07:04[SPEAKER_03]: You're not going to need some acting like this.
- 1:07:06[SPEAKER_03]: I need to say something about that.
- 1:07:09[SPEAKER_03]: Gagly squatters falling off and people are talking about it.
- 1:07:11[SPEAKER_05]: I know I've seen a couple of, I've seen a couple of talks.
- 1:07:15[SPEAKER_05]: Oh, not so much.
- 1:07:17[SPEAKER_03]: It's like the classic.
- 1:07:17[SPEAKER_03]: It's like the classic.
- 1:07:18[SPEAKER_05]: It's like the classic.
- 1:07:20[SPEAKER_05]: I noticed that whenever I listen and I don't go in that much, but.
- 1:07:23[SPEAKER_05]: I have seen TikToks about the Hannah Burner hate train coming back around to town.
- 1:07:28[SPEAKER_03]: I haven't seen that.
- 1:07:29[SPEAKER_03]: I'm mostly talking about like the Reddit threads, but I want to see those with the Reddit threads.
- 1:07:33[SPEAKER_03]: People are like, they're just not relatable anymore and they're like, they're like, I tell the Googlers everything, but they're annoyed with page for obviously hiding the relationship, but she's in with the man that we thought she was in the relationship with, and January by the way, by the way.
- 1:07:47[SPEAKER_03]: I still think she probably cheated, it's fine, I don't care, but like I do think that probably happened at least emotionally, whatever, like I don't give a fuck, but like the way that she acted, like that was so horrific for anybody to be thinking, and now she's like slow-monching it, and it's like we're not stupid.
- 1:08:04[SPEAKER_03]: You're posting from the same locations as have, like he's in, like your photos, like we've seen you together holding hands, now for like 10 months.
- 1:08:11[SPEAKER_05]: It's not like you're not going to be able to do a traditional soft
- 1:08:16[SPEAKER_03]: So it's just like, yeah, and I think part of the issue is that it really goes against her like girls girls girls girl ascetic because he was in a real he was engaged No, but I've also got to be honest like I know that she goes for that and I appreciate it, but
- 1:08:32[SPEAKER_05]: There is a lot of her that is very pick me guys.
- 1:08:35[SPEAKER_05]: That's great.
- 1:08:36[SPEAKER_05]: And we saw a Santa burner.
- 1:08:37[SPEAKER_05]: We saw it over sure.
- 1:08:39[SPEAKER_05]: We saw it a lot on the last season of summer house.
- 1:08:41[SPEAKER_05]: I felt like a page like her unwillingness.
- 1:08:44[SPEAKER_05]: And I understand like their older than Lexi and all this stuff.
- 1:08:47[SPEAKER_05]: And like, but like it's not, I feel this way about the way that they treat Kyle versus the other people.
- 1:08:54[SPEAKER_05]: But I also more so felt that way about the way that
- 1:08:58[SPEAKER_05]: they treated Jesse versus Lexi and it's like if you guys are like the I hate men people like you should be know.
- 1:09:05[SPEAKER_05]: I know.
- 1:09:06[SPEAKER_03]: I totally agree.
- 1:09:07[SPEAKER_03]: At least when you saw how the public was reacting to it, you should have changed your tone.
- 1:09:11[SPEAKER_03]: I'm like sorry, Jesse, I have to say what the public wants to be to say a little bit here.
- 1:09:16[SPEAKER_03]: You know Jesse would.
- 1:09:18[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, exactly, so there's that, wait, let's talk about dancing with the stars for a second because it's coming, I want to say it's coming like next week, or in two weeks, soon.
- 1:09:28[SPEAKER_03]: And I was looking, okay, this is crazy because Kelly and I, the exact same thing happened.
- 1:09:32[SPEAKER_03]: We were scrolling through the cast, like partner reveal, and I'm looking at everyone in first of all, Jen Affleck, how lucky is she that she's with, what's his name from the era's tour?
- 1:09:41[SPEAKER_03]: And is he, he's, is he married?
- 1:09:45[SPEAKER_03]: I don't know, is he gay?
- 1:09:46[SPEAKER_05]: I don't know, that's that's up in the air, but I wanted her to be partnered up with someone that would be like, oh, I'm straight and single.
- 1:09:53[SPEAKER_03]: This is how you could be treated.
- 1:09:55[SPEAKER_03]: I know.
- 1:09:56[SPEAKER_03]: Well, someone commented and was like, Zach, like, how are you doing with this?
- 1:09:59[SPEAKER_03]: Like, tell us you're being supportive and he was like, I'm not going to lie like it is really hard, but like, I've never seen Jess Jen happier doing anything in her life and I'm so happy for her and Bola.
- 1:10:09[SPEAKER_03]: And I'm like, but I kind of thought that he was gay, so maybe I'm wrong, and maybe that is more of an issue.
- 1:10:13[SPEAKER_03]: But like honestly, I'm like, do you think that was a stipulation, and who she got paired up with?
- 1:10:18[SPEAKER_03]: Honestly, it wouldn't be a surprise.
- 1:10:19[SPEAKER_03]: I would not be surprised.
- 1:10:20[SPEAKER_03]: So that I thought was interesting, but going through it all, like looking at the kind of like, where is Whitney?
- 1:10:26[SPEAKER_03]: Like, where?
- 1:10:27[SPEAKER_03]: is what needed she get caught from the cast.
- 1:10:29[SPEAKER_03]: That's crazy.
- 1:10:30[SPEAKER_03]: And then I'm seeing all these TikToks of her dancing with Mark and I was like, wait a minute, like, she must have been in that post.
- 1:10:36[SPEAKER_03]: I go back.
- 1:10:37[SPEAKER_03]: I fully didn't recognize her to the point that I thought they caught her from the cast or that there was a part two of announcements.
- 1:10:43[SPEAKER_03]: And so did Kelly.
- 1:10:44[SPEAKER_03]: We did the exact same thing.
- 1:10:46[SPEAKER_03]: First of all, her hair is like bright red.
- 1:10:47[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, I understand.
- 1:10:48[SPEAKER_03]: And she's, I don't, her face looks completely different to me.
- 1:10:51[SPEAKER_03]: Like she looks.
- 1:10:52[SPEAKER_03]: But she pregnant.
- 1:10:53[SPEAKER_03]: The last reunion.
- 1:10:54[SPEAKER_03]: I don't know if she's pregnant.
- 1:10:56[SPEAKER_03]: She's either pregnant or she just had a baby.
- 1:10:58[SPEAKER_03]: I mean, she's lost a lot of weight.
- 1:11:00[SPEAKER_03]: And she looks very strong.
- 1:11:01[SPEAKER_03]: Like she's, she looks amazing, honestly.
- 1:11:04[SPEAKER_03]: But the picture looks nothing like her.
- 1:11:06[SPEAKER_05]: Crazy.
- 1:11:06[SPEAKER_05]: Well, my dancing with the stars announcement, Sean came from.
- 1:11:09[SPEAKER_03]: You're going on finally.
- 1:11:12[SPEAKER_05]: My dancing with the stars announcement shock Was yeah, it's shocked to the world.
- 1:11:18[SPEAKER_04]: I just want to just speak on that for a second Why is everyone so surprised you guys have heard that you should see me in a crown
- 1:11:27[SPEAKER_05]: You guys know she used to lock herself in the play room and dance at the lights off and we would never never let it know What was up, and I tried to look under the door, but I couldn't you all know that and And That was again say oh, it was Lauren hereggy from Fifth Harmony surprise announcement But what I wanted to say was most interesting to me was we just saw
- 1:11:50[SPEAKER_05]: four of the five Fifth Harmony girls reunite at the Jonas Brothers concert looking exactly they're not missing a step and by that I mean they're missing lots of them and not in sync with each other but they look like the girls we know
- 1:12:07[SPEAKER_05]: And that was awesome.
- 1:12:09[SPEAKER_05]: I love this work from home is one of my all-time favorite songs.
- 1:12:11[SPEAKER_03]: You've been got to go to work work work work work work work work work work you know mom's favorite is reflection.
- 1:12:16[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, I ain't looking at you.
- 1:12:18[SPEAKER_05]: I'm looking about I've played that song for her and I got to that the chorus and she laughed.
- 1:12:24[SPEAKER_03]: She laughed so loud because she's that she was listening she walked us through and of course she was like I was listening to lyrics and I was like okay, like she's on man like talking about her man like this Like it's such such such an objective fine.
- 1:12:35[SPEAKER_03]: He's like he's going on and then when it's that I'm not talking about you're talking about my older flexion mom was like and that's my new themes on I talk about you don't talk about my own reflection Did you sing it all the time Girl you need a confidence boost you just play your flexion right fit harmony and you look in the mirror and you sing it here so
- 1:12:49[SPEAKER_05]: You just put your hair up in a messy bun, turn on reflection by photography and handle it.
- 1:12:55[SPEAKER_03]: And handle it.
- 1:12:57[SPEAKER_03]: Okay, convention time in 2017, I did by my friend Emileg that said, messy bun getting shit done.
- 1:13:04[SPEAKER_05]: Hey, it was up to the time.
- 1:13:05[SPEAKER_05]: My son talked to Dave Romanticizing going to high school from 2015 to 2019 and I Realize that like you and I were low key living in the golden age.
- 1:13:13[SPEAKER_03]: We're now in the golden age like college Me going to college in 2013.
- 1:13:17[SPEAKER_03]: Hello, dude.
- 1:13:18[SPEAKER_03]: Hello.
- 1:13:18[SPEAKER_03]: Oh
- 1:13:20[SPEAKER_05]: like I like the roses by the chains milkers has been on my spot if I like my repeat what on repeat for the last like the smoke a little weed sorry dog long takes me back to the shown the era of freshman year football
- 1:13:37[SPEAKER_05]: I'm going to be one of the best songs I've ever written, but the real things, you know?
- 1:13:43[SPEAKER_05]: I'm just going to keep talking over it, so Camila made a video after they did that performance of her singing and dancing to work from home.
- 1:13:53[SPEAKER_05]: It wasn't mean it was nice, it was her being like, this is our song, whatever, and this wasn't after the zip line, right?
- 1:14:02[SPEAKER_03]: It was a zip line.
- 1:14:04[SPEAKER_03]: when they ripped her off the her life a spotty off the stage.
- 1:14:07[SPEAKER_05]: You know, this is going to be a party right now.
- 1:14:10[SPEAKER_05]: Oh, okay, okay, okay.
- 1:14:11[SPEAKER_05]: So they just did that reunion.
- 1:14:12[SPEAKER_05]: Okay, okay, okay, okay.
- 1:14:13[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah, it's like San just where I'm sorry.
- 1:14:18[SPEAKER_05]: They just said that reunion and she posted that TikTok and then on the dance with the car, dancing with the dancing with the cars dancing with the stars dancing with the starators.
- 1:14:26[SPEAKER_05]: My partner, that's the show I'm on.
- 1:14:29[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, dancing with the cars.
- 1:14:32[SPEAKER_03]: in my Porsche with the guard or back to say Porsche if you're on dancing at the cars.
- 1:14:36[SPEAKER_05]: Right, perfect.
- 1:14:39[SPEAKER_05]: On the carpet for dancing with the stars, a reporter said to Lauren, did you see this video?
- 1:14:45[SPEAKER_05]: And she goes, oh, no.
- 1:14:48[SPEAKER_05]: Girls, one out of five of you has a thriving career right now.
- 1:14:55[SPEAKER_05]: I think we need to let's put thriving in quotes.
- 1:14:58[SPEAKER_05]: No, but I mean, she has a Bacardi commercial on TV all the time.
- 1:15:03[SPEAKER_05]: Her album was kind of a classic, no Camila Cabello.
- 1:15:07[SPEAKER_03]: Oh, I, sorry.
- 1:15:08[SPEAKER_03]: I thought you're having the girls that were remaining.
- 1:15:09[SPEAKER_03]: Sorry, I'm lost.
- 1:15:11[SPEAKER_05]: No, one out of five of the Fifth Harmony girls has a coper here.
- 1:15:14[SPEAKER_03]: Okay, yeah.
- 1:15:16[SPEAKER_05]: And Normani, like you, you had your chance and you kind of fumbled the battle with it.
- 1:15:20[SPEAKER_03]: Oh, but I will never not love the motivation music video.
- 1:15:23[SPEAKER_05]: And I was like, there's a star.
- 1:15:26[SPEAKER_05]: What she should have done exactly is what I'm saying.
- 1:15:28[SPEAKER_05]: And I just think, you guys aren't.
- 1:15:30[SPEAKER_05]: It's not 2017 when you guys were still a power group releasing music.
- 1:15:34[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah, we can shade Camila because she left and you guys are right.
- 1:15:37[SPEAKER_03]: No, right now it's like you can see a shade you.
- 1:15:40[SPEAKER_05]: It's like, hey, Lauren, you're all dancing with the stars.
- 1:15:43[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.
- 1:15:43[SPEAKER_05]: Let's like, let's be a little like... Stop it.
- 1:15:46[SPEAKER_05]: Sorry.
- 1:15:47[SPEAKER_05]: You know there's some people.
- 1:15:48[SPEAKER_03]: No, I don't think so.
- 1:15:49[SPEAKER_03]: Cause Alex or else on it this season.
- 1:15:51[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah, but she's an influencer.
- 1:15:52[SPEAKER_05]: That's one of the more.
- 1:15:53[SPEAKER_05]: These guys want to be.
- 1:15:54[SPEAKER_05]: This is so different.
- 1:15:56[SPEAKER_03]: I guess true.
- 1:15:56[SPEAKER_03]: I guess true.
- 1:15:58[SPEAKER_05]: Like, they, like, this is where pop stars would be.
- 1:16:01[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.
- 1:16:01[SPEAKER_03]: The show.
- 1:16:02[SPEAKER_05]: It's like, they live with their career.
- 1:16:04[SPEAKER_05]: So I'm just like you don't need to be on the carpet being bitchy about Camilla all these years later when you guys are still trying to write the coattails of that song still clearly you just showed up to the Jonas whether it's concert to sing it with so it's like that she's allowed to talk about and just saying like the way the one direction boys they had their like tiff like they had their times where they were fighting with each other
- 1:16:27[SPEAKER_05]: But they've all kind of come around to a way of like well, and I was like, I want to appreciate what Harry's doing.
- 1:16:33[SPEAKER_05]: Or like, I want to appreciate the people that are successful to it and all kind of amplify us their beef was a lot more like when they were actually a man.
- 1:16:42[SPEAKER_03]: Haven't been working together for quite some time.
- 1:16:44[SPEAKER_03]: So why it's sort of reminds me like the Sophia with an F-shit with Alex Cooper, you know what I mean?
- 1:16:49[SPEAKER_05]: Yes, and it's was also like okay, we got a she not allowed to make a TikTok to Assong that she sings on like I don't know that's my point.
- 1:16:58[SPEAKER_03]: Like she lays claim to adjust as much as you exactly and like I would be a little bit like Oh, you didn't think to call me until like I thought what legal action can we take here because I like that song and they sang it without me
- 1:17:10[SPEAKER_05]: No, I just I noticed that on the carpet.
- 1:17:13[SPEAKER_05]: I was like I think you guys are miscalculating That might be valid for me.
- 1:17:19[SPEAKER_03]: That just might be valid wait.
- 1:17:21[SPEAKER_03]: I was oh a couple things number one They just announced the love island games cast and Couple standouts.
- 1:17:28[SPEAKER_03]: We got Andrina fucking Chris is there.
- 1:17:31[SPEAKER_03]: I know I'm pissed.
- 1:17:32[SPEAKER_03]: Oh, you saw Kendall
- 1:17:34[SPEAKER_03]: And what's your name?
- 1:17:36[SPEAKER_03]: Uh, what's your nickname?
- 1:17:37[SPEAKER_05]: The girl from the rob thing.
- 1:17:38[SPEAKER_03]: From the rob thing, uh, it turns into an angel.
- 1:17:41[SPEAKER_03]: Andreya!
- 1:17:42[SPEAKER_03]: Andreya!
- 1:17:43[SPEAKER_03]: Okay, so I'm sad.
- 1:17:44[SPEAKER_03]: I can't wait.
- 1:17:45[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah, I mean, Chris almost made me know I want to watch, but.
- 1:17:48[SPEAKER_03]: I, I predict turn, Chris.
- 1:17:50[SPEAKER_03]: Quickly.
- 1:17:50[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah.
- 1:17:51[SPEAKER_03]: But it's got to be crazy.
- 1:17:53[SPEAKER_05]: It's gonna be crazy.
- 1:17:54[SPEAKER_05]: Oh, wait, Chris.
- 1:17:55[SPEAKER_05]: I thought you would get back overseas to play ball.
- 1:17:57[SPEAKER_03]: I know.
- 1:17:57[SPEAKER_03]: I know.
- 1:17:58[SPEAKER_03]: Looks like you're more free than we thought, huh?
- 1:18:00[SPEAKER_03]: Or did they watch you doing this?
- 1:18:01[SPEAKER_03]: And they were like, you know what?
- 1:18:03[SPEAKER_03]: us on that.
- 1:18:05[SPEAKER_03]: Um next week, just so you guys know Salt Lake is back, which everybody is clocking and sit down.
- 1:18:10[SPEAKER_03]: Same with Love Island Games.
- 1:18:11[SPEAKER_03]: So we're gonna be busy.
- 1:18:12[SPEAKER_03]: Okay, we're wrapping up big brother, but like things are just beginning.
- 1:18:15[SPEAKER_03]: The fall gamut starts now.
- 1:18:17[SPEAKER_03]: So, lock in.
- 1:18:18[SPEAKER_03]: Okay, let's talk about big brother.
- 1:18:23[SPEAKER_03]: So like, okay, Phoebe, do you want to like walk every month through like what happened just in case people aren't?
- 1:18:28[SPEAKER_03]: Cause, cause I imagine if you're not locked in online somewhere you might have been a good no.
- 1:18:33[SPEAKER_03]: You might not.
- 1:18:34[SPEAKER_05]: I was, I was, I, the one of the people that watched the Steelers came with me watches Big Brother and I was like, did you see what happened?
- 1:18:40[SPEAKER_05]: And he was like, no, I don't really like, he's more of a casual and even this is even trickled over to some casuals because I've seen the Facebook comments are also there.
- 1:18:50[SPEAKER_05]: They're not, you know, some of them are not happy either.
- 1:18:52[SPEAKER_03]: I know, but Phoebe, lock us through at for the people who don't know, spoilers, you guys, but not really once the time you've heard this.
- 1:18:58[SPEAKER_03]: I was sitting in an AMC recliner.
- 1:19:01[SPEAKER_03]: I mean, let me set the time and place.
- 1:19:03[SPEAKER_03]: Okay?
- 1:19:03[SPEAKER_05]: I was seen Hamilton and They could dampen her mood Big Hamilton fan and um, I knew Caroline was in the hospital and then like we there was an intermission at Hamilton It's a private way.
- 1:19:18[SPEAKER_03]: You could even go to Hamilton when you do I was in the hospital.
- 1:19:20[SPEAKER_05]: I didn't plan on until I was there
- 1:19:23[SPEAKER_03]: Okay, did mom text you guys separately and tell y'all to text me.
- 1:19:26[SPEAKER_05]: Well Anthony texted me to tell me that you were in the hospital And now it's trying to actually do like are you okay, and then mom was like text Carolina told you tell her you love her It is like so funny because I still to this day.
- 1:19:39[SPEAKER_03]: I can't make the call until I'm like in a hospital bed And it knows something's wrong.
- 1:19:42[SPEAKER_03]: I'm like I'm not fucking calling mom and telling her I'm not I'm not telling the family
- 1:19:46[SPEAKER_05]: Um, and so I think there was an intermission on Hamilton, which I think was around been life feeds started, but they're already been rumors online.
- 1:19:55[SPEAKER_05]: So basically Thursday night eviction happens and we find out that there's going to be this twist that we were all kind of assuming would be maybe a pressure cooker kind of like janky world.
- 1:20:06[SPEAKER_05]: It's a little late in the season.
- 1:20:07[SPEAKER_05]: I think to do something like a split house, but that's kind of what we were expecting.
- 1:20:10[SPEAKER_05]: And Julie said a surprise in elimination.
- 1:20:14[SPEAKER_05]: Which it's like, okay, maybe there's just going to be like a quicker eviction in this kind of twist of the game.
- 1:20:19[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah, yeah, but it's still going to follow the traditional format that makes this show.
- 1:20:23[SPEAKER_05]: Right, it's show.
- 1:20:24[SPEAKER_05]: And I'm going to speak in a way that like opinions that I've developed via other opinions I've found.
- 1:20:29[SPEAKER_05]: I've only watched who sees another show.
- 1:20:31[SPEAKER_05]: So I don't.
- 1:20:31[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah, it's okay.
- 1:20:32[SPEAKER_05]: But I've come to feel passionate about this as I've grown to understand the stakes of what's happening here.
- 1:20:38[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah, yeah.
- 1:20:39[SPEAKER_05]: And so the rumor was like,
- 1:20:42[SPEAKER_05]: Like, I guess there are these people that get more access to what's going on, then are allowed to tweet certain things that come out and people that live feed watchers and people on Twitter see and they were like, yeah, they're people.
- 1:20:54[SPEAKER_05]: So what I just, if what I just heard is true, like, but we're going to be catastrophic for season and so people were predicting that it meant that potentially Rachel Riley.
- 1:21:04[SPEAKER_03]: one of the best I mean, I know you've only been watching it for two seasons, but it's only been watching it for like four every year and that they have every back to Rachel everyone knows that it's not like it's a big secret where it's like, oh, why don't like you want to see if you're rooting for that Keanu.
- 1:21:22[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah, it's like you can't only rule freaking you on who if there's someone to root again exactly And right now there's there's not because we've found find out a log on to Twitter in our mission, which by the way More of these need to do that's the best thing in our mission and I was worried they weren't going to do it when we were going to go straight through and I was like Yeah, I went out And I see on Twitter
- 1:21:47[SPEAKER_05]: that Rachel has, Rachel has left.
- 1:21:49[SPEAKER_05]: So the dress is like, you don't quite know why yet at this time in a text Caroline and I say Caroline, I really don't mean to make matters worse.
- 1:21:57[SPEAKER_03]: And she did.
- 1:21:58[SPEAKER_03]: Oh, she did.
- 1:21:59[SPEAKER_05]: But did you see?
- 1:21:59[SPEAKER_03]: Oh, my God, you guys.
- 1:22:01[SPEAKER_03]: I...
- 1:22:04[SPEAKER_03]: I think all I can say is think that I was on drugs because I I don't know what I would have freaking done They come and they're like, man, maybe it's like red alert my sister.
- 1:22:13[SPEAKER_03]: It's a beeping like crazy You know like what's going on?
- 1:22:15[SPEAKER_03]: I'm like look at this track.
- 1:22:16[SPEAKER_03]: It's my god No, but so guys the twist was like a play on white lotus is called the white lokin Which my voice was about by the way.
- 1:22:23[SPEAKER_03]: Oh, I bet he is.
- 1:22:24[SPEAKER_03]: I thought he was like a big at that clear like what the fuck?
- 1:22:28[SPEAKER_03]: It is like an an Easter egg for Mike White who loves a game show, but like this isn't the game show he loves so what are you thinking I didn't see She we did what did he say?
- 1:22:34[SPEAKER_05]: Well he was just like To invoke this name if you're gonna do something like that.
- 1:22:38[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah exactly.
- 1:22:40[SPEAKER_03]: Oh my god.
- 1:22:40[SPEAKER_03]: It's sacrilegious so
- 1:22:42[SPEAKER_03]: We don't, so the feeds were like down for this white locust thing.
- 1:22:46[SPEAKER_03]: Like we didn't know what was happening in there.
- 1:22:48[SPEAKER_03]: And they didn't tell us two days, right?
- 1:22:50[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah, yeah, we're going to come, well, it was like after they're normally down for the HOH, like out there.
- 1:22:55[SPEAKER_03]: They're like all night long.
- 1:22:56[SPEAKER_03]: Like the HOH.
- 1:22:57[SPEAKER_05]: And I was like, okay, and maybe it was just like a really long one.
- 1:23:00[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.
- 1:23:02[SPEAKER_05]: And then they were sleeping and still no feeds, still the animals.
- 1:23:06[SPEAKER_05]: It wasn't even there could be right back.
- 1:23:07[SPEAKER_05]: And then they posted in the middle of the day feeds will be back up.
- 1:23:13[SPEAKER_03]: I wonder if they were, if yours, what I think was happening.
- 1:23:16[SPEAKER_03]: So there was a challenge and basically like, it was like a chain sort of, we don't know, yeah, but it was sort of a chain either way.
- 1:23:22[SPEAKER_03]: We're going to find out, I think, tonight.
- 1:23:23[SPEAKER_03]: So it was like the reindeer game, but the idea is like, every person had to pick somebody else like to save, to be the next in line and crazy things like Vincent and choose Morgan and Morgan is still crying about it.
- 1:23:35[SPEAKER_03]: She's still in the house crying about it, but she can't wait to meet Kelsey, guys.
- 1:23:39[SPEAKER_03]: right and Kelsey Kelsey's hands can't wait to meet Morgan um and I don't remember if like somebody allegedly summer along the way Rachel took Don Ava away that Ava didn't like and now Ava can't stop calling her a *** in the house which is really losing her favor as a F.P.
- 1:23:57[SPEAKER_03]: because I do think she had a chance until all this psychosis.
- 1:24:02[SPEAKER_03]: Well, I think Rachel now there's no doubt in my mind Rachel's winning because of the way that everyone's like get her back on the fucking show things this, but I think And we're going to see how much the game dolls down without her there.
- 1:24:13[SPEAKER_03]: We're going to be like, wait, I missed those days.
- 1:24:15[SPEAKER_03]: Okay, she really was our favorite player.
- 1:24:17[SPEAKER_03]: But the thing is there was no, like eviction ceremony.
- 1:24:20[SPEAKER_03]: There was no voting.
- 1:24:20[SPEAKER_03]: It was just like who ever got eliminated in this game was just gone.
- 1:24:23[SPEAKER_03]: And it happened to be Rachel.
- 1:24:25[SPEAKER_03]: And I wonder if production was not expecting that.
- 1:24:29[SPEAKER_03]: Because she's typically good at endurance challenges.
- 1:24:32[SPEAKER_03]: I don't know what kind of endurance.
- 1:24:33[SPEAKER_03]: I don't know what kind of challenge it was yet, but it was a hamster wheel.
- 1:24:36[SPEAKER_05]: So you basically got in a hamster wheel and there was a maze with a ball in it and you had a certain amount of time to get the ball where it needed to go.
- 1:24:44[SPEAKER_05]: Okay.
- 1:24:45[SPEAKER_05]: And then the time got shorter each time.
- 1:24:48[SPEAKER_03]: Okay.
- 1:24:48[SPEAKER_05]: So then as you picked a time got down and down and down and you had the last time to complete the maze.
- 1:24:53[SPEAKER_05]: Okay.
- 1:24:54[SPEAKER_05]: It's literally, they posted a real of this exact challenge that it was on.
- 1:25:00[SPEAKER_05]: Check it out.
- 1:25:01[SPEAKER_05]: On Rain Dear Games.
- 1:25:03[SPEAKER_05]: So, which I didn't know might have been where the drama came from with Danielle and Brittany.
- 1:25:08[SPEAKER_03]: Oh, that's true.
- 1:25:08[SPEAKER_03]: Maybe.
- 1:25:09[SPEAKER_05]: I need to look into that.
- 1:25:11[SPEAKER_03]: So, she gets eliminated and sent straight to the jury house, but that's the other thing.
- 1:25:15[SPEAKER_03]: It's like, oh my god, she's going to be the first person to jury house like this.
- 1:25:20[SPEAKER_03]: Like, she'd rather just go home, start jury at the eviction next week.
- 1:25:23[SPEAKER_03]: Like, oh my god, like this is actually like nasty of you to do to her.
- 1:25:26[SPEAKER_03]: And this is probably not what she fucking signed up for.
- 1:25:29[SPEAKER_03]: And apparently she went scorched her.
- 1:25:30[SPEAKER_03]: So, I'm sure what I'm going to do.
- 1:25:32[SPEAKER_03]: I wonder if producers didn't put feeds back up because everybody was talking about Rachel not being there and producers were like, fuck, we didn't think she was going to go home.
- 1:25:39[SPEAKER_03]: Now that she did, we're like, how do we fix this?
- 1:25:43[SPEAKER_03]: Are people going to be so mad?
- 1:25:44[SPEAKER_03]: We don't even want to show them because everyone's talking about it in the house.
- 1:25:47[SPEAKER_03]: Well, they should all be as it is exactly what happened.
- 1:25:49[SPEAKER_03]: everyone's furious about it.
- 1:25:52[SPEAKER_03]: People are tweeting things like trying to get her back on the show, but then like people like Dan Giesley and like he went and deleted his tweet.
- 1:25:57[SPEAKER_03]: And people think maybe he deleted it because production was like, look we're fixing it, dude.
- 1:26:01[SPEAKER_03]: Like can you just fucking stop?
- 1:26:02[SPEAKER_03]: And so they deleted the white locus post from their Instagram because the comments were so crazy.
- 1:26:06[SPEAKER_03]: So I'm like a lot of people are hypothesizing that maybe Rachel has the gym is closed off.
- 1:26:12[SPEAKER_05]: No one can go in the show.
- 1:26:13[SPEAKER_05]: But I do think it reopened.
- 1:26:15[SPEAKER_05]: Okay, or we saw like there was either like it's either reopened or it was like a brief Accidental clip of it and it was just empty.
- 1:26:23[SPEAKER_03]: Okay, if close people were thinking they had Rachel Hold up in there and that she was able to like HOH style watch everybody in the house and be the mastermind I think if they're smart they will do something like that if they're really smart They'll recreate the I'm back bitches moment and have her come back in
- 1:26:38[SPEAKER_05]: Because here's the thing they still can't do her, but they also can do it in a way where she I don't even think she needs a battle back because She wasn't traditional it didn't happen in the way.
- 1:26:50[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah, it's not that's the game like that's why people are so angry and like there were a couple treats I think Danielle treated at one point like if this was Kelly people wouldn't be mad and tons of bar players are furious
- 1:27:01[SPEAKER_05]: I don't think the uproar would be quite the same because Kelly's on a fan favorite in the way that Rachel is, but I do think people would still take issue with how it happened.
- 1:27:09[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah.
- 1:27:10[SPEAKER_05]: And because, and that's what everybody on feeds, they've had to cut feeds so much because of how much these house guests are talking about production, because they're like, I didn't sign up for the challenge.
- 1:27:20[SPEAKER_03]: Well, that's what Vince is saying.
- 1:27:21[SPEAKER_03]: Vince is like, the social media is thinking, yeah, the social game has to matter.
- 1:27:25[SPEAKER_03]: If it doesn't matter, then like, I'm not playing big brother, like,
- 1:27:28[SPEAKER_03]: that's the whole point.
- 1:27:29[SPEAKER_03]: No one's supposed to be able to just like get evicted like that on a competition in this way.
- 1:27:34[SPEAKER_05]: And I just think I think part of Ava's behavior is coming from a I bet you she's someone who doesn't like to be torches wrong or like the she doesn't fall.
- 1:27:44[SPEAKER_05]: So
- 1:27:45[SPEAKER_03]: We've seen her snap a few times, like I think she has very specific buttons that when they get pushed.
- 1:27:50[SPEAKER_05]: But I also think she's trying to set this narrative of like she's realizing how upset people are even just in the house.
- 1:27:57[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah, of like racial being gone and she feels responsible for it.
- 1:28:00[SPEAKER_05]: So she's trying to put out this narrative of like she should have done that.
- 1:28:03[SPEAKER_03]: And I think she feels a little bit like it was her or me and it was like if they're sad that she's not here Then they wanted me to be gone and there's that and also they were already safe If I continuously feels like she needs to like prove her like yeah, don't fuck with me like don't mess with me Like I'll snap my phone for you Okay, like you did your Kian who thing in the game like but she often will be like don't come for me And it's like well, I'm not really scared of you like you're not really a scary player like I don't know
- 1:28:28[SPEAKER_03]: But I don't know.
- 1:28:29[SPEAKER_05]: I just want to understand how production was even willing to take the risk of losing someone.
- 1:28:35[SPEAKER_05]: Who, I mean, the story was just exceptional.
- 1:28:38[SPEAKER_05]: She has not touched the block one time.
- 1:28:42[SPEAKER_03]: And it's just like time.
- 1:28:43[SPEAKER_03]: And now even if she's back in the game, like it's just such a shame.
- 1:28:47[SPEAKER_03]: it's just downplayed her success so much like now it's got this is going to be this black cloud over however well she could have done this season and if she does when people are going to blame it on this like there's no way that she comes back and people view it as a fair game if she wins or loses like you know and
- 1:29:03[SPEAKER_03]: I know way, I'm like, if I'm Rachel and they're like, okay, you can come back, you can battle back in or you can stay out.
- 1:29:09[SPEAKER_03]: I'm like, I'm staying out because right now I'm leaving in a blaze of glory.
- 1:29:12[SPEAKER_03]: People are devastated, I'm gone, I had an amazing run.
- 1:29:15[SPEAKER_03]: If I try to battle back and I lose and I don't get in, then I like have to deal with that, I don't really want to.
- 1:29:19[SPEAKER_03]: I think tonight, depending on what they fucking, because tonight's like a special episode, depending on what we got tonight.
- 1:29:25[SPEAKER_03]: If we don't hear from Rachel tomorrow, I believe she's coming back.
- 1:29:29[SPEAKER_03]: Okay, well, that's that.
- 1:29:30[SPEAKER_03]: Should we get into rotations?
- 1:29:32[SPEAKER_03]: Sure.
- 1:29:33[SPEAKER_03]: I've been really excited to do this.
- 1:29:35[SPEAKER_03]: First up on my dream rotation you guys as Mr. Fantasy.
- 1:29:38[SPEAKER_03]: Have you seen?
- 1:29:38[SPEAKER_03]: Have you heard?
- 1:29:40[SPEAKER_03]: Oh, I'm so glad you haven't because I was I almost sent this video to you over the week and I said no, no, no, Carolina, exercise patients and the chance that she'll find this on her own and show her live on pod so that you can watch the reaction.
- 1:29:53[SPEAKER_03]: My phone is dead.
- 1:29:54[SPEAKER_03]: I need you to look up Mr. fantasy on TikTok guys, this could be more on brand.
- 1:30:00[SPEAKER_03]: Mr. fantasy on TikTok, okay?
- 1:30:03[SPEAKER_03]: And I want you to just click on one of his videos and just watch it and just give me like your first thoughts, okay?
- 1:30:11[SPEAKER_03]: kjapa yes oh damn i was really hoping you had him that would be crazy i didn't know them i know i was hoping i'd get to like have the bigger deal where i told you it was kjapa why is it so lucky good it is it is good i didn't realize that uh... that was his name it's so funny guys okay so kjapa is like cause playing as some british guy with like a coconut head style bob and horrible gnarly teeth
- 1:30:38[SPEAKER_03]: and of course is ripped and he's like walking around like very public spaces like as Mr. Fantasy recording hilarious hilarious videos like improv skills through the freaking roof.
- 1:30:49[SPEAKER_03]: And I have to say I have been following him and his TikTok antics for years.
- 1:30:53[SPEAKER_03]: Have you ever you on his TikTok during Riverdale?
- 1:30:56[SPEAKER_03]: Hmm, he would post it in like saying, you would post like, well, I thought he was like so hot and I still do he would post these insane dancing videos where he would like Like literally Ryan Hart be like sitting in the back and he would just start doing like the mode like like kind of like Anthony fucking dance like the crazy like to make you laugh dances and she's just back there like
- 1:31:20[SPEAKER_03]: And she's like, like, you can tell you just set it down and started doing it and said nothing to her and she wasn't sure what he was doing, I have to find it.
- 1:31:27[SPEAKER_03]: But so he's now brought this personality into music and he's like making music.
- 1:31:30[SPEAKER_03]: I can't really tell if he's serious about the music or not.
- 1:31:33[SPEAKER_03]: But the videos are so funny.
- 1:31:35[SPEAKER_03]: There's like an insane music video.
- 1:31:36[SPEAKER_03]: He made a great production quality.
- 1:31:39[SPEAKER_03]: But it's like, I can be a Mr. Fantasy!
- 1:31:44[SPEAKER_03]: It's so funny!
- 1:31:46[SPEAKER_03]: And his speaking videos crack me up, go watch one.
- 1:31:49[SPEAKER_03]: Put it in the mic and go watch one.
- 1:31:50[SPEAKER_03]: One of his speaking ones.
- 1:31:52[SPEAKER_03]: Because I don't think you think this funny is me.
- 1:31:53[SPEAKER_03]: And I think that's a problem.
- 1:31:57[SPEAKER_01]: Hello.
- 1:32:02[SPEAKER_01]: I've come on here early in the morning.
- 1:32:07[SPEAKER_01]: to let you know I've made a TikTok, go on to it, follow it, it's Mr. Fantasy 00 and I don't have many followers who go tell all your friends and stuff.
- 1:32:22[SPEAKER_01]: That's good, and I've met John from Craigslist who's going to help me film all the film stuff that I have to do.
- 1:32:36[SPEAKER_00]: basically he's going to help me film a music video debut single and I'm excited if you can't do that, I don't know, so that's going to be good and I'm going to go now and follow my TikTok.
- 1:32:56[SPEAKER_05]: I'm sorry, it's so funny.
- 1:32:57[SPEAKER_05]: He does not do it for me.
- 1:32:58[SPEAKER_05]: I'm so sorry.
- 1:33:00[SPEAKER_03]: You don't think it's hilarious that you've caged a opposite in there doing that.
- 1:33:03[SPEAKER_05]: That is funny, but I don't find that funny.
- 1:33:06[SPEAKER_03]: Well, you, I guess I can't look at it without thinking of it being K-J-Apa.
- 1:33:10[SPEAKER_03]: I just, it makes your, I don't like it very much.
- 1:33:14[SPEAKER_03]: Okay.
- 1:33:14[SPEAKER_03]: Like whatever, you're not cool enough for a, you know, got it.
- 1:33:17[SPEAKER_03]: It's art.
- 1:33:18[SPEAKER_03]: It's high art.
- 1:33:18[SPEAKER_03]: You're not getting it.
- 1:33:19[SPEAKER_03]: I understand.
- 1:33:20[SPEAKER_03]: All right.
- 1:33:21[SPEAKER_03]: All right.
- 1:33:21[SPEAKER_03]: All right.
- 1:33:22[SPEAKER_03]: Next up is, oh, my gosh, you guys.
- 1:33:24[SPEAKER_03]: Okay.
- 1:33:24[SPEAKER_03]: So, you know how I was talking about art, my amazing, like, wedding painting that was done for me as a wedding gift when I was obsessed.
- 1:33:31[SPEAKER_03]: Um, this amazing artist has launched an online shop or she sells like paper goods, so if you're into like stationary or dunk journaling or like, you know, it's kind of bandow vibes like their planners that I always buy every year.
- 1:33:44[SPEAKER_03]: Anyway, it's called sincerely bitter.
- 1:33:47[SPEAKER_03]: We're going to put it on our Instagram, but go follow her go send it in order.
- 1:33:51[SPEAKER_03]: She got like a adorable little sticky notes and everything just like so cute.
- 1:33:55[SPEAKER_03]: I got literally got like a journal a planner, two pads of sticky notes.
- 1:33:58[SPEAKER_03]: I'm obsessed.
- 1:33:59[SPEAKER_03]: I just anything like fun, paper, good kind of sassy thing is so fun.
- 1:34:04[SPEAKER_03]: And she's a family friend.
- 1:34:05[SPEAKER_03]: So we want you guys to go shit.
- 1:34:07[SPEAKER_03]: That's number two on my dream, Blunt Rotation.
- 1:34:09[SPEAKER_03]: I want you to go check it out.
- 1:34:11[SPEAKER_03]: You will love it since you're a little biter.
- 1:34:12[SPEAKER_03]: So cute, right?
- 1:34:13[SPEAKER_03]: Mm-hmm.
- 1:34:14[SPEAKER_03]: And she's so talented.
- 1:34:15[SPEAKER_03]: And then if you love that stuff, then maybe you'll be like, oh my god.
- 1:34:18[SPEAKER_03]: Wait, she does wedding portraits as well.
- 1:34:20[SPEAKER_03]: And then you'll get to like her other stuff.
- 1:34:21[SPEAKER_03]: And you'll see those.
- 1:34:21[SPEAKER_03]: And then you could commission her.
- 1:34:22[SPEAKER_03]: I don't know.
- 1:34:23[SPEAKER_03]: I'm just saying, the girl is a multi-talent.
- 1:34:25[SPEAKER_03]: So check her out.
- 1:34:26[SPEAKER_03]: And then third on my dream rotation.
- 1:34:31[SPEAKER_03]: is the team of female doctors that I got to meet with at the hospital and reasons I'll say this number one they just are more sensible and smarter sorry but number two like it's really hard especially when you're alone to advocate for yourself right and in medical environment too because you don't fucking know it's like when you go to the car shop it's like you can tell me whatever you want I'm just gonna have to believe you and that's sort of how it feels that I'm at the doctor and like we just had some very candid conversations where I felt like
- 1:35:00[SPEAKER_03]: my overall health was really being looked out for, especially given just like things that women have to deal with that men don't even fucking think about and some things these doctors talked to me about that I just was like I just appreciated their consideration for things that I wasn't necessarily there to talk about but that they realized might be relevant or worth talking about and in a very sort of like this is the world we live in and let me tell you I'm not
- 1:35:27[SPEAKER_03]: It's a dystopian fucking world we live in.
- 1:35:28[SPEAKER_03]: Okay, I just want you to know that.
- 1:35:30[SPEAKER_03]: It was it was like a frightening conversation, but it was also like, wow, I really appreciate a doctor taking the time to talk to me, like a real person about something like this that affects women everywhere because
- 1:35:41[SPEAKER_03]: then certainly weren't going to like goes never going to come up and I just appreciate it and I appreciate it the like attention to detail and to my personal situation that they gave and so that's a big way of saying female doctors I know I was talking shit on doctors in the beginning of the episode you know I didn't mean that I've gone to the hospital twice in a month you know I didn't mean that
- 1:35:59[SPEAKER_03]: But I just prefer a female team.
- 1:36:01[SPEAKER_03]: And so they were like, they literally were like, hey, we don't have any female neurologists here.
- 1:36:05[SPEAKER_03]: And like, we don't think you should go to a male one.
- 1:36:06[SPEAKER_03]: So we're gonna refer you to like this female at another practice.
- 1:36:09[SPEAKER_03]: And we don't care if it's here because we think it'll be better for you to go to a female.
- 1:36:12[SPEAKER_03]: It's little things like that.
- 1:36:13[SPEAKER_03]: Like, yeah, thank you.
- 1:36:15[SPEAKER_03]: Of course, if you're gonna be looking somewhere where it is private, I wanna girl doing it.
- 1:36:21[SPEAKER_03]: Sorry.
- 1:36:21[SPEAKER_03]: It was just nice.
- 1:36:22[SPEAKER_03]: No one ever even thought to say that to me the last time.
- 1:36:25[SPEAKER_03]: And so it's like that make a really big difference, so that's last on my dream rotation.
- 1:36:30[SPEAKER_05]: All right, you're up.
- 1:36:31[SPEAKER_05]: Nightmare a bitch.
- 1:36:32[SPEAKER_05]: First is the it's it's a man-hating guy.
- 1:36:37[SPEAKER_05]: Of a cool.
- 1:36:39[SPEAKER_05]: When I went to go see Hamilton, the trailers were blurry and the very small.
- 1:36:45[SPEAKER_05]: And we're used so nervous that's how the whole show was going to be.
- 1:36:50[SPEAKER_05]: But I'm not one two and playing of course.
- 1:36:53[SPEAKER_05]: It was like doable.
- 1:36:54[SPEAKER_05]: Like I was like, I'll just see it again.
- 1:36:56[SPEAKER_05]: If it's really that way.
- 1:36:57[SPEAKER_03]: Why get me free tickets, but we're not like easy going, but like in the movies, we're easy going.
- 1:37:02[SPEAKER_03]: We're just like, whatever, like go with the flow.
- 1:37:04[SPEAKER_03]: Like you could be a black screen for the whole two hours.
- 1:37:06[SPEAKER_03]: I paid for a ticket, I'll sit.
- 1:37:10[SPEAKER_03]: I won't, you won't hear a word from me.
- 1:37:11[SPEAKER_03]: I'll be like, all right, quiet room.
- 1:37:12[SPEAKER_03]: You know what I mean?
- 1:37:13[SPEAKER_05]: And it's also like I could say I wouldn't walk and I could tell that like there were people in here that were going to take.
- 1:37:17[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah, so okay.
- 1:37:19[SPEAKER_03]: If that's in like any Karen's in the room.
- 1:37:21[SPEAKER_03]: Hey, you're not derogatory.
- 1:37:22[SPEAKER_03]: And a Karen's in the room.
- 1:37:23[SPEAKER_03]: You can speak up.
- 1:37:24[SPEAKER_03]: And this one moment.
- 1:37:25[SPEAKER_03]: You can speak up.
- 1:37:26[SPEAKER_03]: I'm about that girl at the Philly's game by the way.
- 1:37:29[SPEAKER_05]: I was thinking of, I'll put her on my rotation too.
- 1:37:31[SPEAKER_05]: I think all.
- 1:37:33[SPEAKER_05]: But so this, they go and tell the people I guess.
- 1:37:37[SPEAKER_05]: And I'm sitting in the back row where the access door is to the projection room.
- 1:37:40[SPEAKER_05]: So this man comes up and I'm like, oh, he's going to fix it.
- 1:37:43[SPEAKER_05]: And he like just makes his men what?
- 1:37:46[SPEAKER_05]: Always fix it.
- 1:37:47[SPEAKER_05]: Right.
- 1:37:47[SPEAKER_05]: He just makes it bigger.
- 1:37:49[SPEAKER_05]: And then he leaves.
- 1:37:51[SPEAKER_05]: I mean, it looks like he sees that it's blurry, because he like stood out there and looked at it, like make sure that it was big enough.
- 1:37:57[SPEAKER_05]: But I'm like, I know they told you it was blurry, too.
- 1:37:58[SPEAKER_03]: You guys need to get your eyes checked.
- 1:38:00[SPEAKER_05]: But I think that they thought about it.
- 1:38:03[SPEAKER_05]: I had a thought at one point.
- 1:38:04[SPEAKER_05]: I was like, is it me?
- 1:38:05[SPEAKER_05]: Okay, it's just our my leisure.
- 1:38:07[SPEAKER_05]: Oh my god, my lesions.
- 1:38:09[SPEAKER_03]: Okay, you just had this yoga shelf.
- 1:38:10[SPEAKER_05]: I was like, I, I wonder if the woman thought maybe because of how small the picture is.
- 1:38:15[SPEAKER_05]: That's why it was blurry and shaky.
- 1:38:16[SPEAKER_05]: Oh.
- 1:38:17[SPEAKER_05]: and that didn't fix it.
- 1:38:19[SPEAKER_05]: Someone else goes up and this is like while the they had like a 10-minute intro video of the whole original cast talking about what it was like to work like the story of the Hamilton happened.
- 1:38:33[SPEAKER_05]: Like going all the way back to when he performed at the White House dinner, like just him and Alex Aquamar.
- 1:38:38[SPEAKER_05]: And this the guy comes back up and he like barely he like wipes his
- 1:38:46[SPEAKER_04]: He uses his bare hand to just clean up the lens.
- 1:38:48[SPEAKER_04]: No, it's like greasy, too.
- 1:38:50[SPEAKER_04]: It's like bleary.
- 1:38:52[SPEAKER_05]: And then he uses his bare hand.
- 1:38:53[SPEAKER_05]: He picks up the Virginia.
- 1:38:55[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah, I'm like turning the door off.
- 1:38:59[SPEAKER_05]: And then someone gets up again, because now we're at, like, my shot is about to start.
- 1:39:04[SPEAKER_05]: And it's so blurry.
- 1:39:05[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah.
- 1:39:06[SPEAKER_05]: And high school girl comes out.
- 1:39:09[SPEAKER_05]: And you're like fixed it in like 10 seconds.
- 1:39:13[SPEAKER_05]: How old was the man?
- 1:39:15[SPEAKER_05]: He was like the manager of AMC for sure, so he was like an old and bald dude.
- 1:39:18[SPEAKER_05]: Okay, old and bald.
- 1:39:20[SPEAKER_03]: Okay, I'm not like so maybe like in his 50s, regardless, not a tech savvy man.
- 1:39:26[SPEAKER_03]: Sorry, it's here 2025, but it's also like you've heard the manager of
- 1:39:30[SPEAKER_05]: the American movie company.
- 1:39:31[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.
- 1:39:31[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.
- 1:39:32[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.
- 1:39:32[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.
- 1:39:32[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.
- 1:39:32[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.
- 1:39:32[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.
- 1:39:32[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.
- 1:39:32[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.
- 1:39:32[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.
- 1:39:33[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah.
- 1:39:33[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah.
- 1:39:33[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah.
- 1:39:33[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah.
- 1:39:33[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah.
- 1:39:33[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah.
- 1:39:34[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah.
- 1:39:34[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah.
- 1:39:34[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah.
- 1:39:34[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah.
- 1:39:34[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah.
- 1:39:34[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah.
- 1:39:34[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah.
- 1:39:35[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah.
- 1:39:35[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah.
- 1:39:35[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah.
- 1:39:36[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah.
- 1:39:36[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah.
- 1:39:36[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah.
- 1:39:36[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah.
- 1:39:36[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah.
- 1:39:36[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah.
- 1:39:36[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah.
- 1:39:36[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah.
- 1:39:37[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah.
- 1:39:37[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah.
- 1:39:37[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah.
- 1:39:37[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah.
- 1:39:37[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah.
- 1:39:37[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah.
- 1:39:37[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah.
- 1:39:38[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah.
- 1:39:38[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah.
- 1:39:38[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah.
- 1:39:38[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah.
- 1:39:38[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah.
- 1:39:39[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah.
- 1:39:39[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah.
- 1:39:39[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah.
- 1:39:39[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah.
- 1:39:39[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah.
- 1:39:39[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah.
- 1:39:39[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah.
- 1:39:39[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah.
- 1:39:40[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah.
- 1:39:40[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah.
- 1:39:40[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah.
- 1:39:40[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah.
- 1:39:40[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah.
- 1:39:41[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
- 1:39:41[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
- 1:39:41[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
- 1:39:41[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
- 1:39:41[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
- 1:39:41[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
- 1:39:41[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
- 1:39:41[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
- 1:39:42[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
- 1:39:42[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah.
- 1:39:42[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah.
- 1:39:42[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
- 1:39:42[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
- 1:39:42[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
- 1:39:42[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah.
- 1:39:42[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah.
- 1:39:42[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah.
- 1:39:43[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah.
- 1:39:43[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah.
- 1:39:43[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah.
- 1:39:43[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah.
- 1:39:43[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah.
- 1:39:43[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah.
- 1:39:43[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah.
- 1:39:43[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah.
- 1:39:44[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah.
- 1:39:44[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah.
- 1:39:44[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah.
- 1:39:44[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah.
- 1:39:44[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah.
- 1:39:44[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah.
- 1:39:45[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah.
- 1:39:45[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah.
- 1:39:45[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah.
- 1:39:45[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah.
- 1:39:46[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah.
- 1:39:46[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah.
- 1:39:46[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah.
- 1:39:47[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah.
- 1:39:47[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah.
- 1:39:47[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah.
- 1:39:47[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah.
- 1:39:47[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah.
- 1:39:48[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah.
- 1:39:48[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah.
- 1:39:48[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah.
- 1:39:48[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah.
- 1:39:48[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah.
- 1:39:48[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah.
- 1:39:49[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah.
- 1:39:50[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, let's make it no better.
- 1:39:52[SPEAKER_03]: I want to list of the things you've done personally, especially better.
- 1:39:56[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah, yeah, I want to hear it.
- 1:39:58[SPEAKER_05]: So anyway, that next is the woman at the Philly's game.
- 1:40:02[SPEAKER_05]: I just think the rule is always if it ends up in the glove of a kid, you leave it.
- 1:40:06[SPEAKER_05]: You first of all, there are plenty of courtesy rules of like.
- 1:40:11[SPEAKER_05]: if you don't catch it it's fair game for anyone the first person but yeah but that guy is far as what i could see he got it fair and swearing it's not like he was getting it for himself he got it for some i'm like okay maybe in the first moment she thought that he was getting for himself and then i could see her i still couldn't see her like chasing him down because it's 2025 who was not scared of men you know it being like i
- 1:40:32[SPEAKER_03]: I was like, I could see her initial reaction to the guy you're fucking kidding.
- 1:40:35[SPEAKER_03]: You know what I mean?
- 1:40:36[SPEAKER_03]: But then as soon as you see it goes to the kid and you're chasing him down the aisle now and you you can see clear his day who's holding the fucking ball that it's a little kid and you're going to cause this scene in front of the kid.
- 1:40:45[SPEAKER_03]: I saw people criticizing the dad saying he gave it up too easy.
- 1:40:50[SPEAKER_03]: But honestly, you know what?
- 1:40:52[SPEAKER_03]: people are crazy.
- 1:40:53[SPEAKER_05]: You don't know like that number one.
- 1:40:56[SPEAKER_05]: The dad also said I wanted that to be a teachable moment to my kid.
- 1:40:59[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.
- 1:41:00[SPEAKER_05]: Like you don't you're not going to escalate something like that.
- 1:41:03[SPEAKER_05]: So you just have to in the kid the kid was asked about and he said you know what I just hope that that ball really meant a lot to her.
- 1:41:10[SPEAKER_05]: Wow.
- 1:41:12[SPEAKER_05]: But also that's like a he said it in a sweet way.
- 1:41:14[SPEAKER_05]: Not like I. Totally.
- 1:41:16[SPEAKER_05]: But like.
- 1:41:17[SPEAKER_05]: I think so they were talking about this on the news and someone was like her entire life is about to change and she has no way we still don't ever name
- 1:41:27[SPEAKER_05]: Well, but I mean, she's got a distinctive look.
- 1:41:30[SPEAKER_05]: The fact that we still don't have a name is crazy.
- 1:41:33[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, true.
- 1:41:34[SPEAKER_05]: But anyway, they were just being made on the news.
- 1:41:37[SPEAKER_05]: And they were just like, we need it.
- 1:41:41[SPEAKER_05]: How did we lose decorum like this?
- 1:41:43[SPEAKER_05]: Like, why does everybody act so crazy and entitled to all these experiences?
- 1:41:49[SPEAKER_05]: Like, it's, then I saw this video on TikTok.
- 1:41:51[SPEAKER_05]: I repost it.
- 1:41:52[SPEAKER_05]: It's just like this montage of all.
- 1:41:54[SPEAKER_05]: All these feel good moments that like I just understand how in the moment you're not thinking like how this is going to look to their cameras everywhere, but we see these sweet videos of like
- 1:42:06[SPEAKER_05]: one of my favorite videos ever of a baseball being caught was like an order kid caught it and like gave it to a little girl a couple of rows in front of him and then she caught a ball later and gave it all the hit and it's like all the other also I love the videos where kids give them to each other like they might catch one but then they see another kid really wants it and they'll give it to them and it's just like what first of all that to that woman what
- 1:42:35[SPEAKER_05]: This is the craziest part.
- 1:42:36[SPEAKER_05]: Apparently so the I think it was the Marlins.
- 1:42:39[SPEAKER_05]: It was a Philly's Marlins game I think the Marlins team came up and Brought him like a big gift bag and then they got to go back and like meet everyone I got a side back the woman in the back the woman in the back I haven't seen the actual footage yet people were saying that she was like throwing a fit about that too
- 1:42:59[SPEAKER_03]: You are kidding me.
- 1:43:00[SPEAKER_05]: And flipping them up, we do have a picture of her flipping them off.
- 1:43:02[SPEAKER_05]: And that direction.
- 1:43:03[SPEAKER_03]: No, it's, it's how she did.
- 1:43:06[SPEAKER_05]: I didn't look drunk.
- 1:43:07[SPEAKER_05]: Like it was no.
- 1:43:07[SPEAKER_05]: She was like an inebriated person doing that in that way that you might expect.
- 1:43:12[SPEAKER_05]: It was like, she knew exactly what she was doing.
- 1:43:14[SPEAKER_05]: And she felt good about it in the moment.
- 1:43:16[SPEAKER_03]: I would never show my face again.
- 1:43:18[SPEAKER_03]: Like I would never show my face again.
- 1:43:20[SPEAKER_03]: I mean, I would never act like that.
- 1:43:21[SPEAKER_03]: So it would be in that situation.
- 1:43:22[SPEAKER_03]: But I just, I can't imagine.
- 1:43:24[SPEAKER_03]: And I'm like seeing it from every different angle.
- 1:43:29[SPEAKER_03]: It is 20 25 like how many times I have to say that everyone's got their phone out and everyone's squatting over the lesson everybody you exactly could be acting like this like you cannot just act over you want and I do feel like because of COVID and so much time spent being like I have to protect myself and being in my bubble like I'm staying over here.
- 1:43:46[SPEAKER_03]: I'm not dealing with people in the public the way I was and people also got really used to a certain kind of special treatment that came with COVID like
- 1:43:54[SPEAKER_03]: door to door service and just different things were like people became very entitled and forgot that that wasn't the norm you know our new normal wasn't the norm and they also just lost a lot of the like nice cities and being friendly and the ability to talk to people and a normal fucking way and behave in a normal way like I feel like a man who's going to study years from yes we are going to study years from now the impact of like
- 1:44:17[SPEAKER_03]: what that shelter in place really did to people.
- 1:44:20[SPEAKER_03]: And again, this woman could have been a total fucking bitch from the moment she was born.
- 1:44:23[SPEAKER_03]: And I suspect she was.
- 1:44:24[SPEAKER_03]: But like, I think for a lot of people, especially young people, like that crucial time you get where you're learning how to like interact with other humans in a kind way.
- 1:44:33[SPEAKER_03]: They lost it.
- 1:44:34[SPEAKER_03]: And now they fucking can't.
- 1:44:35[SPEAKER_00]: And it's like scary.
- 1:44:36[SPEAKER_03]: We need like a form school for 20 year olds.
- 1:44:38[SPEAKER_03]: Like it's bonkers, now that this woman was that.
- 1:44:41[SPEAKER_03]: But, and then the other thing is there is some miserable fucking people in the world.
- 1:44:44[SPEAKER_03]: And like she does, I'm sorry, you deserve everything you got.
- 1:44:47[SPEAKER_03]: Like if people are nasty to you, you deserve that.
- 1:44:50[SPEAKER_03]: You are obviously, it was so normal.
- 1:44:52[SPEAKER_03]: And it was so knee-jerk reaction for her to do that that you know, she is like a fun sucker.
- 1:44:57[SPEAKER_03]: You can just tell in her life.
- 1:44:59[SPEAKER_03]: And it was, it was a relatively long,
- 1:45:02[SPEAKER_03]: interaction so it's like how are you going to sober up and you know she was in drunk but sober up and realized like oh my god I'm gonna do it right now I am on the megatron they're looking at me like finger in this man's face looking at this kid I was just like what are you thinking it's I mean crazy speaking of the that's Coldplay thing they uh the woman just filed for divorce from her husband the guys still trying to sue so Coldplay
- 1:45:28[SPEAKER_03]: He is.
- 1:45:29[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.
- 1:45:29[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.
- 1:45:31[SPEAKER_03]: Oh my god.
- 1:45:32[SPEAKER_03]: And that is so classic for God forbid a man take accountability.
- 1:45:35[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, exactly.
- 1:45:36[SPEAKER_05]: Well, it's like the this isn't the same realm of this.
- 1:45:39[SPEAKER_05]: Did you see the video from the tennis match where a tennis player goes over to this kid and gives a kid this hat and the CEO and the CEO emailed his company and said the lesson to be learned is like if he was faster, he would have the hat.
- 1:45:53[SPEAKER_05]: And no, he tweeted it too, he tweeted that first internally to his company and not one person was like, hey, maybe don't, maybe you don't say that.
- 1:46:03[SPEAKER_03]: He's like, it's a fucking kid.
- 1:46:05[SPEAKER_03]: It's a kid.
- 1:46:06[SPEAKER_03]: And guess what?
- 1:46:06[SPEAKER_03]: It wasn't a matter of who could snatch it first.
- 1:46:08[SPEAKER_03]: It was being given to him, not to you.
- 1:46:11[SPEAKER_03]: You fucking weirdo.
- 1:46:12[SPEAKER_03]: And I'm sorry, if you're someone who's getting that worked up over getting a ball at a sporting event, you have other issues.
- 1:46:17[SPEAKER_03]: like that's weird.
- 1:46:18[SPEAKER_03]: Sorry, if you're an adult and that's like what is happening to you internally when this, you're, you're a weirdo.
- 1:46:24[SPEAKER_03]: You're fucking weird.
- 1:46:25[SPEAKER_03]: And then I say it's such a lapse of judgment.
- 1:46:27[SPEAKER_03]: His company should be like step down.
- 1:46:28[SPEAKER_03]: Sorry, like that is such a lapse of judgment.
- 1:46:31[SPEAKER_03]: That's something that data's really taught me.
- 1:46:32[SPEAKER_03]: Like, you can't, a, like, judgment is everything, whether it's in real life at work, whatever.
- 1:46:37[SPEAKER_03]: Like, if you are demonstrating that you're the kind of person who can make certain decisions do certain things, then like, that it, your judgment is everything.
- 1:46:45[SPEAKER_03]: And if you don't have it, I'm sorry.
- 1:46:46[SPEAKER_03]: How can we trust you to be the CEO of a fucking company you piece of shit?
- 1:46:50[SPEAKER_03]: Sorry, I hate it.
- 1:46:51[SPEAKER_05]: This is... Last is... It was gonna be big brother production, but it's actually Ava.
- 1:46:58[SPEAKER_05]: I'm pretty pissed at her.
- 1:47:00[SPEAKER_03]: and that what have all from grace really truly I knew I knew it from the start know you know you knew you had eyes on her you said I don't fuck with her and then she want to play it she won you over a little bit maybe it was the outside noise getting to you and now you're like see look I was right and that's it that's
- 1:47:16[SPEAKER_03]: That is a lesson we teach at the Caroline Connell School at Connell University.
- 1:47:19[SPEAKER_03]: There's a Phoebe Connell School in Caroline Connell School.
- 1:47:22[SPEAKER_03]: Of course, we come together for certain subjects, but for this one, it's a sticker fucking feet in the sand and don't move.
- 1:47:28[SPEAKER_03]: That's me, because guess what?
- 1:47:30[SPEAKER_03]: If your gut is right, it'll always be right.
- 1:47:34[SPEAKER_03]: I've nailed down so many people before and been like, they're about to egg and everyone's like, no, and then guess what?
- 1:47:40[SPEAKER_03]: Guess what?
- 1:47:40[SPEAKER_03]: That's what happened here.
- 1:47:41[SPEAKER_03]: Eventually, everyone will find out you're actually a bad fucking egg.
- 1:47:45[SPEAKER_03]: My picker isn't wrong.
- 1:47:47[SPEAKER_03]: And people are like, you're gay to our sucked in high school.
- 1:47:50[SPEAKER_03]: Maybe it didn't.
- 1:47:51[SPEAKER_03]: Maybe I was choosing the gay men to date.
- 1:47:54[SPEAKER_03]: Okay?
- 1:47:55[SPEAKER_03]: Safe.
- 1:47:56[SPEAKER_03]: Safe honey and love me.
- 1:47:57[SPEAKER_03]: Like what was not to love there?
- 1:47:59[SPEAKER_03]: Hello.
- 1:48:01[SPEAKER_03]: Okay, stop it.
- 1:48:03[SPEAKER_03]: I mean, say that I did know some of them are gay.
- 1:48:04[SPEAKER_03]: I just just didn't care.
- 1:48:06[SPEAKER_03]: In fact, that's why I liked them.
- 1:48:09[SPEAKER_03]: Anyway, well, this was a fun episode, guys.

- 1:48:24[SPEAKER_03]: Next week, we'll be back to our episode recap.
- 1:48:26[SPEAKER_03]: So get season 7 episode 18, which is fucking crazy to say.
- 1:48:30[SPEAKER_03]: But we have an awesome punch.
- 1:48:31[SPEAKER_03]: We'll play it for you guys tomorrow.
- 1:48:32[SPEAKER_03]: So make sure you tune in for lots of pretty little layers chat and world building and all of that good stuff.
- 1:48:38[SPEAKER_03]: If you're interested in the Ghost tours, please please please get some tickets come come out.
- 1:48:43[SPEAKER_03]: It would be so fun to hang out and get to meet some of you guys.
- 1:48:45[SPEAKER_03]: I know we've got some road warriors coming to the October 4th Ghost Tour, which is one that Phoebe will definitely be at.
- 1:48:50[SPEAKER_03]: So in like the whole cast of characters, Anthony Kelly, it's a good one to come to.
- 1:48:54[SPEAKER_03]: So that would be really fun.
- 1:48:56[SPEAKER_03]: But they do start next Friday, September
- 1:48:58[SPEAKER_03]: I will be there.
- 1:48:59[SPEAKER_03]: They're really fun.
- 1:49:00[SPEAKER_03]: We'd love to see you, Lincoln Bio.
- 1:49:03[SPEAKER_03]: And if you missed it, we got a nice little hunting lives moment of the VMA, so we didn't quite talk about Brittany.
- 1:49:08[SPEAKER_03]: Someone tweeted about Brittany's known said Brittany's snow looks one.
- 1:49:10[SPEAKER_03]: Exactly right.
- 1:49:13[SPEAKER_03]: She was the one.
- 1:49:14[SPEAKER_05]: I didn't think everyone had said the comment, the concept of the hunting wives leading couple, introducing ordinary biologists.
- 1:49:22[SPEAKER_03]: This is just a fever dream.
- 1:49:24[SPEAKER_03]: We did do the pilot for hunting lives, which is also what I watched in the hospital you guys.
- 1:49:29[SPEAKER_03]: And this is good fodder for the pop cast.
- 1:49:31[SPEAKER_03]: So let's see what we're doing.
- 1:49:33[SPEAKER_03]: Phoebe's like shut the fuck up, Caroline.
- 1:49:35[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, but can you make a note that I want to talk about that?
- 1:49:37[SPEAKER_03]: And I also want to talk about the catfish, a no number, stalking thing.
- 1:49:41[SPEAKER_03]: So if you guys are privy to either of those things, the pop cast as we can's going to be where it's at first here.
- 1:49:48[SPEAKER_03]: Alright guys, we love you so much.
- 1:49:49[SPEAKER_03]: Thank you for listening, and we will see you next week!
- 1:49:53[SPEAKER_03]: And... Spludge!
