- 0:01Speaker 1: Welcome to the Spunky Spirit Podcast. I'm your host, Psychic Medium,
- 0:04Speaker 1: Keri Muggs. In this space, we get curious about your intuition,
- 0:10Speaker 1: explore your connection with spirit, and find a little magic
- 0:13Speaker 1: in everyday life. We'll share stories, ask questions, and talk
- 0:18Speaker 1: about learning to trust yourself, even when you're still trying
- 0:21Speaker 1: to figure things out. Because I believe we all have abilities,
- 0:25Speaker 1: and there's always more to discover. So take a breath,
- 0:28Speaker 1: get comfortable, and and let's remember your magic. Welcome to
- 0:37Speaker 1: the Spunky Spirit Podcast. I haven't done an episode in
- 0:40Speaker 1: a long time. I was going to take the summer
- 0:43Speaker 1: off and go to France and do work, and then
- 0:46Speaker 1: I ended up doing France, and then I came back,
- 0:52Speaker 1: and my best friend passed away, and things got crazy,
- 0:56Speaker 1: and so I haven't been able to do podcast episode,
- 1:00Speaker 1: but here's the thing. I'm going to do it a
- 1:01Speaker 1: little bit differently because I was going to stop doing
- 1:04Speaker 1: them all together just because they took up so much time.
- 1:07Speaker 1: But instead, what I'm going to do is just, I'm
- 1:11Speaker 1: not going to do videos anymore. They're not going to
- 1:13Speaker 1: be on YouTube unless they're just the audio because it
- 1:16Speaker 1: would take so much time to just get them ready
- 1:19Speaker 1: and it would get to get the camera up and
- 1:21Speaker 1: to do the thumbnails. And I know people love the
- 1:25Speaker 1: podcast and I know my friend, my best friend loved
- 1:27Speaker 1: the podcast. So in honor of her, We're going to
- 1:29Speaker 1: keep doing them, but we're going to do them all audio.
- 1:31Speaker 1: I'm going to go back to audio just because it's
- 1:34Speaker 1: so much easier. And honestly, I don't have to worry
- 1:36Speaker 1: about the studio. I can honestly just sit on my
- 1:39Speaker 1: couch with my microphone and record like we're having a conversation.
- 1:45Speaker 1: So this podcast is going to be about you're always
- 1:49Speaker 1: allowed to change your mind because so many people put
- 1:53Speaker 1: so much effort and so much work into something and
- 1:56Speaker 1: then they decide it doesn't work for them and they're
- 1:57Speaker 1: too scared. This is especially true when you go to
- 2:00Speaker 1: college and you work all those years to get a
- 2:03Speaker 1: degree and then you get out and you're like, I
- 2:05Speaker 1: don't want to do this anymore. I just want you
- 2:08Speaker 1: to know that part of the magic of living your
- 2:11Speaker 1: life is to go ahead and change your mind. We
- 2:13Speaker 1: don't want to be stuck doing something we hate forever
- 2:16Speaker 1: or doesn't bring us joy anymore because we put so
- 2:20Speaker 1: much work in it. And that's kind of what I
- 2:21Speaker 1: do at the podcast. I put so much work in
- 2:24Speaker 1: it and I... it just was overwhelming. It was too much.
- 2:30Speaker 1: And so we're just going to cut back a little bit. And,
- 2:33Speaker 1: you know, part of that too is when I was
- 2:36Speaker 1: in France, I changed my mind, had a big change
- 2:39Speaker 1: of my mind of what I wanted to do with my, um,
- 2:43Speaker 1: with my profession. So as you know, a lot of
- 2:47Speaker 1: mediums go into the paranormal and they do paranormal shows
- 2:51Speaker 1: and they do. And that was honestly, it really was
- 2:54Speaker 1: part of my goal is to do paranormal stuff. And,
- 2:57Speaker 1: In France, I kind of realized that's not what I
- 3:00Speaker 1: want to do. It's not the direction I want to
- 3:02Speaker 1: go in. I want to uplift people. I want to
- 3:06Speaker 1: help people remember their magic. Paranormal is great and it's awesome.
- 3:12Speaker 1: And maybe I'll dab in it a little bit once
- 3:14Speaker 1: in a while because I do want to help paranormal.
- 3:17Speaker 1: It's not so scary as I thought it used to be,
- 3:19Speaker 1: but mostly I want to focus on you guys. I
- 3:24Speaker 1: want to focus on building my community, on helping you
- 3:27Speaker 1: guys to remember your magic because earth is hard and
- 3:31Speaker 1: we don't need to make it scarier, any more scarier.
- 3:34Speaker 1: I mean, it's fun to be scared sometimes, but honestly,
- 3:38Speaker 1: it's okay to change your mind. And I kind of
- 3:40Speaker 1: figured out too, when I came back from France, I
- 3:43Speaker 1: kind of had realized that in France while I was there,
- 3:47Speaker 1: I realized that there's just some things about this, about
- 3:51Speaker 1: my profession that I want to change or I want
- 3:53Speaker 1: to do differently. And so when I came back, I
- 3:56Speaker 1: made those changes. And also too, Allison, my best friend
- 4:00Speaker 1: who died of cancer on July 27th, she wanted to live.
- 4:06Speaker 1: She didn't want to die. In fact, we didn't think
- 4:08Speaker 1: she was going to die. When I left for France,
- 4:11Speaker 1: she was on her last round of chemo and we
- 4:13Speaker 1: really thought this was it. In fact, I gave her
- 4:15Speaker 1: a reading. And in that reading, I said, I don't
- 4:18Speaker 1: see the cancer anymore in August. We thought it was
- 4:20Speaker 1: different reasons. We thought she was going to be cured.
- 4:23Speaker 1: And So when I came back and I realized how
- 4:28Speaker 1: hard she fought to stay and I want to live
- 4:36Speaker 1: my best life. I want to find the magic in
- 4:38Speaker 1: every day. I don't want to dread each day. I
- 4:40Speaker 1: don't want to worry about what's coming next. I want
- 4:42Speaker 1: to enjoy the things that I do and help people
- 4:46Speaker 1: do the same. But here's the thing. It can be
- 4:51Speaker 1: so uncomfortable to change your mind, right? Especially if you've like,
- 4:54Speaker 1: told people this is how you're going to do it,
- 4:55Speaker 1: or if you spent so much money on a certain degree,
- 4:59Speaker 1: because we don't want to disappoint people. We think, and
- 5:02Speaker 1: maybe we have families that we have to produce, provide for.
- 5:08Speaker 1: And so we just don't want to, that's the biggest
- 5:11Speaker 1: thing is we don't want to disappoint people. But honestly,
- 5:13Speaker 1: at the end of the day, it's not worth not
- 5:16Speaker 1: living a life of love, like a love, a life
- 5:18Speaker 1: that you love if it's, if it's, you're dreading it
- 5:21Speaker 1: every day. And I sometimes think If we take those risks,
- 5:25Speaker 1: those risks become bigger and better for us. Um, sometimes we,
- 5:30Speaker 1: this is all about like what people will think of us,
- 5:32Speaker 1: which is, which is kind of what drives us really
- 5:35Speaker 1: deep down. We don't, because our biggest fear when we're born,
- 5:39Speaker 1: our biggest two fears are falling and loud noises. The
- 5:43Speaker 1: rest of the fears we create on our own. And
- 5:45Speaker 1: the number one fear is what people will think. Most
- 5:48Speaker 1: people are afraid of getting up and talking in public.
- 5:51Speaker 1: Then they are dying. And it's because we're so afraid
- 5:54Speaker 1: of what people will think. We're worried that we're going
- 5:57Speaker 1: to look flaky or like we don't know what we're doing.
- 6:00Speaker 1: We have invested so much time, money and energy. And
- 6:03Speaker 1: we've become known for something that, you know, like I've
- 6:06Speaker 1: become known as a psychic medium. I don't know if
- 6:09Speaker 1: I'm separate from that anymore. Right. I don't know if
- 6:12Speaker 1: I'm separate, if I'm Carrie Muggs. I'm Carrie Muggs, the
- 6:15Speaker 1: psychic medium in my business and in my life. And
- 6:21Speaker 1: it's in the past. I was always Carrie Muggs or
- 6:26Speaker 1: Carrie Bingham or whatever with my abilities. But then when
- 6:30Speaker 1: I started doing psychic mediumship, I thought I had to
- 6:34Speaker 1: separate it because I thought the psychic mediumship was part
- 6:36Speaker 1: of my career and Carrie Muggs was separate from that.
- 6:39Speaker 1: And it really depressed me, I think. I think the
- 6:42Speaker 1: last couple of years I've been so, because I separated
- 6:44Speaker 1: the two and now I'm just like, ah, screw it.
- 6:48Speaker 1: I'm going to be Carrie Muggs and I'm going to
- 6:49Speaker 1: have my spiritual gifts whether I work or not. And
- 6:51Speaker 1: I'm going to do those things regardless. And I'm going
- 6:54Speaker 1: to be that person regardless if I'm working or if
- 6:58Speaker 1: I'm not working. So that's kind of helped me a
- 7:01Speaker 1: little bit too. Because you have to be authentic. We
- 7:08Speaker 1: have to be authentic. We have to be who we
- 7:10Speaker 1: want to be. And when we're doing these things that
- 7:12Speaker 1: we no longer love or no longer brings us joy,
- 7:15Speaker 1: we're not authentic. And the I thought that was kind
- 7:23Speaker 1: of interesting too. And honestly, if I had any cool
- 7:25Speaker 1: paranormal stories about France, I would tell you or make
- 7:28Speaker 1: a podcast about it. But it was mostly about my
- 7:31Speaker 1: inner stuff. There was not a lot of paranormal stuff
- 7:34Speaker 1: there that we did or I took part of. And
- 7:37Speaker 1: it was mostly a lot of inner turmoil stuff that
- 7:41Speaker 1: I had gone through that I came out going, okay,
- 7:43Speaker 1: I'm going to change some things. And honestly too, sometimes
- 7:48Speaker 1: we make choices on what we know then. Things change.
- 7:52Speaker 1: Things go differently. Like when I first started this business,
- 7:54Speaker 1: I was a completely different person. So you have to
- 7:57Speaker 1: just know that down the road, you can change your mind.
- 7:59Speaker 1: You don't have to continue to do the things you
- 8:02Speaker 1: think that you thought you were going to do. You
- 8:04Speaker 1: can enjoy something, you know, you can enjoy something for
- 8:08Speaker 1: a season. We don't have to continue to do the
- 8:11Speaker 1: same job throughout our whole life or same relationship or, um,
- 8:15Speaker 1: and I know that's a big one people, but it's true.
- 8:18Speaker 1: It's not, we're here to have joy. We're here to
- 8:21Speaker 1: find the magic. We're here to remember who we are.
- 8:24Speaker 1: And when we're doing something we don't like, it pulls
- 8:26Speaker 1: us down. It makes us depressed. It's like Jim Carrey
- 8:29Speaker 1: with that avatar thing. He says when we're depressed, it's
- 8:32Speaker 1: our avatar telling us they don't like what we're doing.
- 8:34Speaker 1: They don't like what we've decided or the choices that
- 8:37Speaker 1: we've made. We can try any idea and discover that
- 8:41Speaker 1: we don't like the reality of it. We can decide
- 8:43Speaker 1: we don't want to do it anymore. I have an awesome,
- 8:49Speaker 1: awesome lady who you know, rented part of this, part
- 8:52Speaker 1: of my office with me and did energy work. And
- 8:55Speaker 1: she loved it at first, but then things happened. Her
- 8:57Speaker 1: family happened, her job. And she, it was so hard,
- 9:00Speaker 1: but she had to make that decision that this isn't
- 9:02Speaker 1: a season for that right now. She can do, she
- 9:04Speaker 1: can do it later. But right now it was just
- 9:06Speaker 1: not bringing her joy. Not that she didn't love the people,
- 9:09Speaker 1: just that she had so much going on. So I
- 9:12Speaker 1: really like commend her for that. Like really, she, she
- 9:16Speaker 1: put herself first and her authenticity first. And that's what
- 9:19Speaker 1: you need to do. You can try the idea and
- 9:25Speaker 1: discover you don't like it. You can do something and
- 9:28Speaker 1: decide you don't like to do it every day. Like
- 9:32Speaker 1: there's some parts of this business that I don't like
- 9:34Speaker 1: and I've decided I'm probably going to cut those out.
- 9:36Speaker 1: I kind of cut back on galleries this year just
- 9:39Speaker 1: because of reasons of location and reasons of other things
- 9:44Speaker 1: that I'm doing. But I might start picking them back up.
- 9:47Speaker 1: just because I want to, because I want to enjoy them,
- 9:50Speaker 1: not the pressure of having to do them. There's a difference.
- 9:53Speaker 1: When you want to do it and you enjoy doing
- 9:55Speaker 1: it and you want to help, that's different. But when
- 9:57Speaker 1: you have a pressure or you feel pressure to help someone,
- 10:00Speaker 1: you feel pressured to do it like it's expected. That's different.
- 10:04Speaker 1: Like that, it changes the mentality of it. And you
- 10:08Speaker 1: can be grateful for an experience and still be ready
- 10:10Speaker 1: to leave it. Both can be true. The thing I
- 10:12Speaker 1: have learned about counseling this year the most is two
- 10:15Speaker 1: things can be true. We have this whole thing that
- 10:18Speaker 1: either has to be black or white and it doesn't
- 10:20Speaker 1: have to be. We can be grateful for what we have,
- 10:23Speaker 1: but still want to change what we have. I can
- 10:27Speaker 1: respect the version of me who chose this and listen
- 10:30Speaker 1: to the version of me that who wants something different.
- 10:33Speaker 1: So you need to give yourself that time and that space.
- 10:35Speaker 1: And also too, you need to give yourself room to
- 10:37Speaker 1: understand the feeling. Like explore the difference between wanting a
- 10:42Speaker 1: change and having a difficult day. Sometimes, and I'm really
- 10:45Speaker 1: good at this. It's like that whole, if you're, if
- 10:47Speaker 1: you have one flat tire, you throw the whole car away.
- 10:49Speaker 1: I will do this. I'll have a really bad day
- 10:51Speaker 1: and I'll be like, I don't want to do this anymore.
- 10:53Speaker 1: And that's not, I have to like, remember, this is
- 10:56Speaker 1: just a bad day. It's not a bad life. It's
- 10:58Speaker 1: just a bad day. And you don't have to decide immediately.
- 11:00Speaker 1: This is what I did with some of the stuff
- 11:02Speaker 1: that I came back from France. I decided with the podcast,
- 11:05Speaker 1: I didn't have to decide immediately. I could take my time.
- 11:08Speaker 1: Was I letting people down by not posting it, not
- 11:11Speaker 1: doing a weekly podcast? Probably not. But I needed to
- 11:14Speaker 1: figure out my shit. I needed to figure out my stuff.
- 11:18Speaker 1: And so I didn't have to decide immediately. I could
- 11:20Speaker 1: do it when I wanted to. So you have to
- 11:23Speaker 1: ask yourself too, if you're going through something like this,
- 11:26Speaker 1: how long have you been feeling like this? Has it
- 11:28Speaker 1: just been a week, two days? Has it been six months?
- 11:32Speaker 1: If it's been longer than a couple months, then I'd
- 11:33Speaker 1: start to look into it. And what specifically, what does
- 11:38Speaker 1: it feel like that you don't like anymore? What doesn't fit?
- 11:41Speaker 1: That was my big thing. part of this doesn't fit
- 11:43Speaker 1: and why doesn't it fit? Is it doesn't it fit
- 11:45Speaker 1: because I'm expected to do it or doesn't it fit
- 11:48Speaker 1: because I don't like it? I don't like it. Would
- 11:53Speaker 1: rest help you? I tried this a lot too. I thought, okay,
- 11:57Speaker 1: I just need to rest. I just need to like
- 11:59Speaker 1: take a break. But then I would take a break
- 12:01Speaker 1: and I would come back and still like, now I'm
- 12:04Speaker 1: not saying readings. I don't dread the readings and I
- 12:06Speaker 1: don't dread the people. But like there are some things
- 12:08Speaker 1: that I had a hard time with. Galleries still give
- 12:10Speaker 1: me a lot of issues. And last year galleries, like
- 12:16Speaker 1: just the complications of some of them, not even like
- 12:18Speaker 1: the readings themselves, but I would feel guilty about not
- 12:21Speaker 1: giving everybody in the room a reading. I can't give
- 12:24Speaker 1: 60 people or 80 people in a room a reading.
- 12:27Speaker 1: So I went down to groups and I love my
- 12:30Speaker 1: group readings. I love them. There's like eight people, eight
- 12:33Speaker 1: to 10 people in my little office and it is
- 12:36Speaker 1: beautiful and it is comfortable and it's, it's cozy and
- 12:41Speaker 1: everybody gets a reading and I leave feeling so fulfilled.
- 12:44Speaker 1: So I changed my galleries up and did more group
- 12:47Speaker 1: readings this year. And I love it. I do a
- 12:49Speaker 1: couple galleries every year. I will probably do a couple
- 12:52Speaker 1: galleries every year, but honestly, my group readings are like
- 12:55Speaker 1: the best and everybody, everybody that has had them loves
- 12:59Speaker 1: them too. Um, so if the rest or support, you know,
- 13:04Speaker 1: a If rest doesn't help, then that's probably what you
- 13:07Speaker 1: need to switch it up, just like I changed galleries
- 13:10Speaker 1: to groups. And if nobody, nobody had an opinion about
- 13:14Speaker 1: what you did, you had no kids, no spouse, no
- 13:17Speaker 1: parents that had an opinion about what you did, what
- 13:20Speaker 1: would you do? Would you continue to do this or
- 13:23Speaker 1: do you just feel like the responsibility of it? Yeah,
- 13:28Speaker 1: it's just if nobody had an opinion, what would you
- 13:30Speaker 1: want to explore? What would you do? What would you research?
- 13:33Speaker 1: I kind of started doing this too. I kind of,
- 13:35Speaker 1: after Phenomicon, I kind of decided I kind of want
- 13:38Speaker 1: to know more about mediumship. I want to know where
- 13:41Speaker 1: it came from. I want to know about spiritualism. I
- 13:43Speaker 1: want to know about, instead of like trying to focus
- 13:46Speaker 1: on all this other stuff like social media and all,
- 13:48Speaker 1: I want to, and trying to like, you know, just
- 13:52Speaker 1: the rat race of it. Like I did not realize
- 13:55Speaker 1: until last year when I was traveling so much, what
- 13:57Speaker 1: a cutthroat, um, what a cutthroat occupation mediumship can be
- 14:03Speaker 1: if you let it, if you let it be that way.
- 14:06Speaker 1: And just remind you too, that the change can be small.
- 14:10Speaker 1: It doesn't have to be big. You don't like like mine.
- 14:12Speaker 1: I cut back on galleries, but I still do one
- 14:15Speaker 1: or two a year, but I changed them to small
- 14:17Speaker 1: groups instead. Just try a different schedule or you don't
- 14:21Speaker 1: have to change your whole life. Pause something, add like
- 14:24Speaker 1: maybe do a business on the side. I know that
- 14:27Speaker 1: will be in. So you, cause I know a lot
- 14:28Speaker 1: of people feel stuck. They feel stuck in what they're in.
- 14:30Speaker 1: And that's, that's part of the problem too. I did
- 14:33Speaker 1: feel stuck for a little bit too, but you're not like,
- 14:36Speaker 1: there's a way, there's a way if you have, if
- 14:38Speaker 1: you want to manifest or you've got to trust and
- 14:41Speaker 1: surrender and know that there's something different, um, experiment with
- 14:44Speaker 1: a new direction or a new creative direction, have an
- 14:48Speaker 1: honest conversation about the commitment that it takes. You can
- 14:51Speaker 1: change direction. Um, and, thoughtfully, and you can include considering
- 14:56Speaker 1: who else is affected, you can consider that. And that
- 15:01Speaker 1: can be a big choice, but just know that if
- 15:03Speaker 1: that's the case, then just do it as a slow,
- 15:06Speaker 1: do it something slow, bring in something slow. It just
- 15:10Speaker 1: brings back to like remembering who you are, remembering your magic.
- 15:14Speaker 1: A lot of this, I started to by remembering, I
- 15:17Speaker 1: decided to try this thing where I would try to
- 15:20Speaker 1: do something magical every day, or I would try to
- 15:23Speaker 1: find the magic in every day, And it totally has worked.
- 15:26Speaker 1: I'm not kidding. It has changed my perspective. It has
- 15:29Speaker 1: changed my confidence. It has changed so much. And I
- 15:32Speaker 1: love it. I just allow myself to either do something magical.
- 15:38Speaker 1: I create the magic or I find something magical, which
- 15:42Speaker 1: is awesome. Because you think, I mean, I give readings
- 15:45Speaker 1: every day. That's magical in itself, right? I speak to
- 15:49Speaker 1: your loved ones and I bring through accurate, detailed, specific information.
- 15:54Speaker 1: So that is magic in itself. And I bring magic
- 15:57Speaker 1: to people. So I, I kind of lost, I kind
- 16:00Speaker 1: of lost sight of that. I kind of lost that
- 16:03Speaker 1: that was a magical thing anyways, because I do it
- 16:05Speaker 1: so much. Um, so I just really had to like,
- 16:09Speaker 1: trust myself. You have to, we have to trust ourselves,
- 16:12Speaker 1: but sometimes we only give ourselves permission to do, to
- 16:15Speaker 1: do that. If the answer stays the same, like, right.
- 16:18Speaker 1: We only trust ourself if we're still doing the same thing.
- 16:20Speaker 1: What happens when we trust ourself enough to let the
- 16:23Speaker 1: answer change? Like surrender. That's another thing too in my
- 16:26Speaker 1: affirmations I write down every day. I surrender to spirit
- 16:30Speaker 1: and I stay in my own lane. I don't worry
- 16:32Speaker 1: about other people. And that's changed a huge difference to
- 16:36Speaker 1: me too. It's not a race anymore. So what's the
- 16:40Speaker 1: one thing that you would give your permission, yourself permission
- 16:44Speaker 1: to reconsider? Stay with that question. Even meditate on it.
- 16:48Speaker 1: That's another thing I've added too is I started meditating
- 16:50Speaker 1: a lot too. And just a reminder that you're allowed
- 16:54Speaker 1: to learn more and more. Like this world is about you.
- 16:59Speaker 1: Like you get to learn more about yourself every day
- 17:02Speaker 1: and what you expect of yourself and what other people
- 17:05Speaker 1: expect of you. And sometimes we just are so hard
- 17:08Speaker 1: on ourselves and we've created a life that we don't love.
- 17:12Speaker 1: And social media is not that great either, you guys.
- 17:15Speaker 1: I mean, people need it for business, but when you
- 17:17Speaker 1: compare your life to other people's you just have to
- 17:20Speaker 1: remember what you're comparing your life to. Right. And it
- 17:23Speaker 1: kind of takes the magic away from it. I have
- 17:26Speaker 1: like tried to set up my, cause I've got to
- 17:29Speaker 1: keep social media for my, for my business, but I've
- 17:32Speaker 1: kind of set my stuff. So all I see is
- 17:34Speaker 1: uplifting stuff, um, stuff about that teaches me to stuff that,
- 17:39Speaker 1: and I've cut back way back and kind of started
- 17:42Speaker 1: my own little AI university. I started my own little,
- 17:47Speaker 1: you know, chat GTP helped me learn about all of
- 17:49Speaker 1: my all about spiritualism and mediumship and really dive in
- 17:53Speaker 1: that way. And it's helped a ton. Social media, like
- 17:57Speaker 1: cutting back on social media has been huge for me.
- 17:59Speaker 1: So I don't know about you, but for me, it
- 18:01Speaker 1: has been so, and it during this time, it's so
- 18:05Speaker 1: crazy because I've been focusing on making all of, um,
- 18:09Speaker 1: all of my classes. So we, all of my online
- 18:12Speaker 1: classes I've created, like there's four of them and there's
- 18:16Speaker 1: a ton of meditations. I have, spirit guide meditations. I
- 18:19Speaker 1: have manifesting meditations. I have a manifesting class. I created
- 18:24Speaker 1: a class where you can listen to your intuition during
- 18:28Speaker 1: emergencies or chaos. And I did one where you can
- 18:31Speaker 1: listen to your intuition, like regulating your nervous system and
- 18:33Speaker 1: my Awaken Your Senses course, all brand new, all brand
- 18:37Speaker 1: new stuff, all ready to go. There's a lot you
- 18:40Speaker 1: can do when you're like focused and stay focused on
- 18:43Speaker 1: the important things, right? And those are the things that
- 18:45Speaker 1: I want to help bring magic to people. And And
- 18:48Speaker 1: people can learn those things. And I'll probably focus more
- 18:51Speaker 1: on the group readings and the classes and just family
- 18:55Speaker 1: in general, I think. We've gone through a lot of
- 19:00Speaker 1: stuff with Nellie and Allie. Allie was my wake-up call.
- 19:08Speaker 1: Allie was the one who taught me that we need
- 19:14Speaker 1: to enjoy our lives here. And every day is not
- 19:19Speaker 1: going to be perfect. That's for sure. But we need
- 19:22Speaker 1: to remember our magic. We need to remember who we
- 19:26Speaker 1: are and that we have so much power and we
- 19:29Speaker 1: are so powerful and we are so magical. And we've
- 19:32Speaker 1: just got stuck in this everyday thing of like, of
- 19:37Speaker 1: just the chaos and the collective. And, and so this
- 19:43Speaker 1: is what you know, you change some things. You change
- 19:46Speaker 1: your mind. You think you want one thing and you've decided,
- 19:48Speaker 1: it's not what I want. anymore. I mean, I really
- 19:50Speaker 1: thought success was how, I thought success was one way.
- 19:55Speaker 1: I thought to be successful at my business, it was
- 20:01Speaker 1: just the way, you know, you had to, I had
- 20:05Speaker 1: to have it be this certain way. And I realized
- 20:07Speaker 1: in France and coming home with Allie that success looks
- 20:12Speaker 1: different now for me. Success is more about being in
- 20:18Speaker 1: the moment and not about so much about what's like
- 20:22Speaker 1: just this podcast, right? So much has changed already. So
- 20:25Speaker 1: much has changed. I was going to do this big, huge,
- 20:28Speaker 1: I wanted it to go viral. I wanted it to
- 20:30Speaker 1: be big. I wanted to have guests all the time,
- 20:33Speaker 1: set up a studio like all last year, set up
- 20:35Speaker 1: a studio, had a guest list. And I came home
- 20:39Speaker 1: from France and I was like, you know, I don't
- 20:41Speaker 1: want to be on video. I don't want to grow
- 20:43Speaker 1: a YouTube channel. I just want to sit in my
- 20:45Speaker 1: office on my couch with a little tiny microphone that
- 20:49Speaker 1: doesn't cost hundreds of dollars. And I want to talk
- 20:52Speaker 1: to my people like they're sitting across from me, not
- 20:57Speaker 1: like I'm putting on a show. And so that's what
- 21:01Speaker 1: I learned this summer. And so you're going to see
- 21:04Speaker 1: new stuff, new stuff coming. And It's going to be
- 21:07Speaker 1: a journey and I would love it if you came
- 21:10Speaker 1: with me. I would be honored if you came with me.
- 21:13Speaker 1: Tell more stories about my readings and tell more stories
- 21:15Speaker 1: about my magic and your magic and finding your magic.
- 21:18Speaker 1: And we will still talk about, you know, paranormal stuff
- 21:23Speaker 1: like intuition and finding your magic and your gifts and
- 21:28Speaker 1: the Claire's and all of that stuff. But we won't
- 21:31Speaker 1: really talk about the haunted stuff. Maybe aliens, maybe Bigfoot,
- 21:36Speaker 1: because I'm telling you what, people like the Bigfoot stories.
- 21:39Speaker 1: So sometimes I'll have my husband on and we'll do that.
- 21:41Speaker 1: But right now, I want you to trust your magic.
- 21:48Speaker 1: Remember your magic. It's not about finding it, because you've
- 21:50Speaker 1: always had it. But I want you to remember it.
- 21:53Speaker 1: And I want you to remember that you are so
- 22:00Speaker 1: extremely loved and so extremely powerful. And that's what I'm
- 22:05Speaker 1: here to remind you of. So there you go. There
- 22:12Speaker 1: you go. So upcoming stuff for me, I do have
- 22:14Speaker 1: a gallery December 5th in Idaho Falls. I don't know
- 22:18Speaker 1: if I haven't planned anything about the Bend, Oregon thing
- 22:20Speaker 1: that was canceled. I'm looking back into that. Do I
- 22:24Speaker 1: have any big trips about work scheduled like France or Scotland?
- 22:28Speaker 1: I do want to do a retreat next fall with
- 22:30Speaker 1: some women or some people that, you know, a magic retreat,
- 22:36Speaker 1: not like a paranormal retreat, just a magic retreat. So
- 22:38Speaker 1: I'm going to start looking into that. So stay tuned.
- 22:41Speaker 1: You might find all of that information will be in
- 22:44Speaker 1: my newsletter, which you can go look at at kerrymuggs.com, C-A-R-R-I-M-U-G-G.com.
- 22:51Speaker 1: And also too, I have a new Tuesday, a Tarot Tuesday,
- 22:55Speaker 1: where I'm going to start doing Tarot readings on Tuesday
- 22:57Speaker 1: nights at seven and just let you guys in and
- 23:00Speaker 1: give you tarot readings because I am learning tarot and
- 23:03Speaker 1: I want to get better at it. And I want
- 23:05Speaker 1: to help you remember your magic. That's one of the
- 23:07Speaker 1: things I want to do. I want to get to
- 23:08Speaker 1: know my people and my community. And I've been really
- 23:11Speaker 1: private the last couple of years and I haven't like
- 23:14Speaker 1: gotten out and been vulnerable. And this year I'm going
- 23:17Speaker 1: to try a little bit harder. And then Carrie Connects.
- 23:21Speaker 1: We also have Carrie Connects in depth now. So if
- 23:23Speaker 1: you want more of a reading every Monday, you can
- 23:26Speaker 1: tune in. Tune into, you can join my $ 5 membership
- 23:32Speaker 1: where you do get carry connects, but you also get
- 23:34Speaker 1: five more in-depth cards about the week. So lots of
- 23:37Speaker 1: more things coming this year for 2027. Just sad that
- 23:43Speaker 1: it had to be a huge shakeup for me to
- 23:45Speaker 1: realize how important my people are. And you, if you're
- 23:50Speaker 1: listening to this, you're one of my people. So I
- 23:53Speaker 1: love you guys. And as always, I am here to
- 23:56Speaker 1: help you remember your magic.
