- 6:12SPEAKER_00: They traveled to Adelaide and come away with the four point points, which they really wanted.
- 6:17SPEAKER_00: Which for a while, Free Hunt kicked 9 goals.
- 6:19SPEAKER_00: Adelaide only managed 5 goals, and that's a pretty impressive victory for the Free Hunt Jokers.
- 6:24SPEAKER_00: Well done to them.
- 6:25SPEAKER_00: Next up, it's game 8.
- 6:26SPEAKER_00: Sydney, Brisbane.
- 6:28SPEAKER_00: Well, what a game this was at Hanson Park.
- 6:30SPEAKER_00: Final score here, low scoring 5-737, 3-5-23.
- 6:35SPEAKER_00: Sydney, well done with a 14-point victory.
- 6:37SPEAKER_00: And taking on the second best team from AFLW season 2025.
- 6:44SPEAKER_00: We know that Sydney are looking alright this season, taking some really good wins, especially at home.

- 6:51SPEAKER_00: Now yes, five goals, seven behinds, three goals, five behinds.

- 7:08SPEAKER_00: That's where we are.
- 7:08SPEAKER_00: Gold Coast hosting St.
- 7:10SPEAKER_00: Kilda.
- 7:11SPEAKER_00: That's right.
- 7:11SPEAKER_00: Game nine, final game.
- 7:13SPEAKER_00: Gold Coast St.
- 7:14SPEAKER_00: Kilda.
- 7:15SPEAKER_00: Well done.
- 7:15SPEAKER_00: With 10969, feed at 6'3, 39.
- 7:19SPEAKER_00: 5 gold victory.
- 7:20SPEAKER_00: 30 points is the margin.
- 7:22SPEAKER_00: Well done to the Gold Coast Sunset win over as a result.
- 7:25SPEAKER_00: Defending St Kilda.
- 7:27SPEAKER_00: You get 10 goals, nine behinds, and they get six three.
- 7:31SPEAKER_00: Improving Lowly St Kilda.
- 7:33SPEAKER_00: That's what we want.
- 7:33SPEAKER_00: But Gold Coast, too strong, too good.
- 7:36SPEAKER_00: Well done on the victory.
- 7:38SPEAKER_00: Once again, congratulations to the Gold Coast Suns.
- 7:41SPEAKER_00: It's now wrapping up.
- 7:42SPEAKER_00: We're all done with nine games in four seventh round.
- 7:45SPEAKER_00: We're now heading to big wins, close games, and interesting results.
- 7:49SPEAKER_00: It's now time to move into our eighth round of the 2020 A4W P Planethip season.
- 7:57SPEAKER_00: Alright, A4W, round eight results.
- 8:00SPEAKER_00: Now when round seven's complete, it's time to go in straight into round number eight of the AFLW 2026 season.
- 8:08SPEAKER_00: We got another nine games to cover with basically 18.
- 8:12SPEAKER_00: So we're getting there.
- 8:13SPEAKER_00: So I don't doubt.
- 8:15SPEAKER_00: Let's drive into game number one for round eight.
- 8:18SPEAKER_00: Game one, Carlton Hawthorne.
- 8:21SPEAKER_00: This is one of the biggest riders in general of the AFL competition.
- 8:25SPEAKER_00: Carlton back-to-back wins is important.
- 8:28SPEAKER_00: 5-6-36 to 3-6-24.
- 8:31SPEAKER_00: Low scoring.
- 8:32SPEAKER_00: Can't gain a W.
- 8:34SPEAKER_00: Well done here.
- 8:35SPEAKER_00: We know Carlton Harrington won those seasons.
- 8:38SPEAKER_00: Hawthorne are still finding themselves with an important one.
- 8:41SPEAKER_00: But only 12 points separated, only two goals.
- 8:44SPEAKER_00: So how much can the Blues manage to collect these finish points?
- 8:48SPEAKER_00: It's by trust and believe.
- 8:50SPEAKER_00: Hawthorne beating the best team.
- 8:52SPEAKER_00: Have not lost the game in a few seasons and finally got the job done there.
- 8:58SPEAKER_00: Haven't find their form since to Geelong and L against the Cum Blues.
- 9:03SPEAKER_00: Well done, DeCarlden.
- 9:04SPEAKER_00: Heads up, Hawthorne.
- 9:06SPEAKER_00: Here we go.
- 9:06SPEAKER_00: Game number two.
- 9:08SPEAKER_00: Here we go.
- 9:09SPEAKER_00: That is right.
- 9:10SPEAKER_00: Game number two.
- 9:12SPEAKER_00: Richmond Geelong go head to head.
- 9:14SPEAKER_00: And this was a victory to Geelong Cats.
- 9:17SPEAKER_00: Far too good.
- 9:18SPEAKER_00: 34-point victory.
- 9:20SPEAKER_00: They know how important Geelong needed to get this win.
- 9:23SPEAKER_00: They are looking the press this season to look in the top four finish coming in the end of the season as we reach that point off overall.
- 9:31SPEAKER_00: I am trusting belief what this team can bring.
- 9:35SPEAKER_00: Pressure and over the above.
- 9:36SPEAKER_00: We think 12 behinds.
- 9:38SPEAKER_00: We kits 7-12.
- 9:39SPEAKER_00: That's a good effort.
- 9:40SPEAKER_00: But Richmond is managing three goals on average per game.
- 9:44SPEAKER_00: It's just not the season they want.
- 9:46SPEAKER_00: But Geelong just have improved so much and I can sin since game number one.
- 9:51SPEAKER_00: So quite a line to the cat heads up to La Mighty Richmond Tigers.
- 9:56SPEAKER_00: And all the best next round.
- 9:58SPEAKER_00: Here we go, game three.
- 10:00SPEAKER_00: Here we go.
- 10:01SPEAKER_00: That's why game three GWS giant versus the Essendon Bombers.
- 10:05SPEAKER_00: And that's where we are next.
- 10:06SPEAKER_00: This is the biggest, one of the biggest up set for the round.
- 10:11SPEAKER_00: It is Essendon claiming a victory.
- 10:14SPEAKER_00: And this is not just a victory.
- 10:16SPEAKER_00: 5535 6743.
- 10:19SPEAKER_00: This is what Essendon wanted.
- 10:21SPEAKER_00: It's been a long time coming and taking the most important victory you can see on E or generally on this competition.
- 10:33SPEAKER_00: So how much is a win for the for the mighty, mighty bombers.
- 10:39SPEAKER_00: Right now, I can expect that no one really saw this coming.
- 10:43SPEAKER_00: Their first win for the 2020 AFLW and they're taking over the Giants.
- 10:49SPEAKER_00: With that also acclaiming their first claim on their still first win.
- 10:53SPEAKER_00: So well done to Edsenden.
- 10:56SPEAKER_00: Giant, heartbroken.
- 10:57SPEAKER_00: You know, it's not the kind of season both teams expected to see improvements.
- 11:02SPEAKER_00: Eight points separated teams and Essendon.
- 11:05SPEAKER_00: Well done on the win.
- 11:06SPEAKER_00: GWS Giants, heads up, all the best.
- 11:09SPEAKER_00: Next game is the fourth game.
- 11:11SPEAKER_00: Whiz is actually quite improved as well.
- 11:13SPEAKER_00: Let's go there now.
- 11:15SPEAKER_00: We have the Western Border and the St.
- 11:17SPEAKER_00: Kilda Saints.
- 11:18SPEAKER_00: Game four.
- 11:19SPEAKER_00: Western Bulldogs St.
- 11:21SPEAKER_00: Kilda.
- 11:22SPEAKER_00: And that's what we are.
- 11:23SPEAKER_00: When you have 16 scoring shots to one, there's no point in celebrating.
- 11:28SPEAKER_00: When you keep third three goals, 13 proves that they are a question mark.
- 11:33SPEAKER_00: But when you score a point for a whole game, you're the worst scoring team in the comp.
- 11:38SPEAKER_00: A 30-point victory to the Western Bulldogs show how good they are.
- 11:41SPEAKER_00: The dogs keep St.
- 11:43SPEAKER_00: Kilda goal at all game, and that's having to out several games.
- 11:47SPEAKER_00: Biggest question is, can Saint Kilda find themselves and keep goals and points?
- 11:53SPEAKER_00: That's the biggest thing.
- 11:54SPEAKER_00: But the dogs will learn from this win.
- 11:57SPEAKER_00: Not this win, but goals and points.
- 11:59SPEAKER_00: It was the obvious versa.
- 12:00SPEAKER_00: The Bulldogs will have confidence and they'll take this win and no matter what.
- 12:05SPEAKER_00: St.
- 12:05SPEAKER_00: Kilda, you got a lot of work to do and know it's not being your season, but no it's been your struggle as well.
- 12:12SPEAKER_00: Congratulations to the Western Bulldogs.
- 12:14SPEAKER_00: Let's go to game number five.
- 12:15SPEAKER_00: And that's where we are.
- 12:16SPEAKER_00: Brisbane and Gold Coast go head to head, the Queensland rival known as the Q Clash.
- 12:22SPEAKER_00: 3220 to 5'40.
- 12:25SPEAKER_00: This game was played host by Brisbane.
- 12:28SPEAKER_00: And no matter how this these two separate, Gold Coast taking the runners out of Brisbane Lions.
- 12:36SPEAKER_00: Gold Coast has shown what they can prove, provide great statements, great results, great victories.
- 12:42SPEAKER_00: I would like to say that great results to the Gold Coast Suns defeating the Queensland rivals, Brisbane Lions.
- 12:49SPEAKER_00: Gold Coast kept 5-10 to Brisbane just to three goals, too.
- 12:52SPEAKER_00: So it's a low-scoring game.
- 12:55SPEAKER_00: We all love that.
- 12:56SPEAKER_00: But I want to say great sales to the Gold Coast Suns on a big, big bridal victory.
- 13:01SPEAKER_00: Let's go to game number six.
- 13:03SPEAKER_00: Here we go.
- 13:03SPEAKER_00: Well we go to Mumber Sits.
- 13:05SPEAKER_00: We can't say not more than anything, but we have a mother rival game.
- 13:11SPEAKER_00: Showdown and Adelaide.
- 13:13SPEAKER_00: Port Adelaide! Adelaide Crows, the biggest African rival.
- 13:17SPEAKER_00: These two hate each other on the field.
- 13:20SPEAKER_00: And it's the SNFL.
- 13:22SPEAKER_00: It's not the SNF, my apologise.
- 13:24SPEAKER_00: The AVW Showdown, Port Adelaide, and the LA Crows.
- 13:28SPEAKER_00: Final score 5-6-36-210-22.
- 13:32SPEAKER_00: Port Adelaide taking the victory here.
- 13:35SPEAKER_00: Power defeating their cross ridals is always a big, real, big deal.
- 13:39SPEAKER_00: LA had plenty of opportunities in front of the big sticks, goals, but struggling when they're necessary.
- 13:46SPEAKER_00: Port LA put they make their opportunities and put their pressure on a high level.
- 13:51SPEAKER_00: And taking away, claiming their four-point princeship, which is well points really matters.
- 13:56SPEAKER_00: This is the most important part, but quite a lot of the pull out on the show then win.
- 14:00SPEAKER_00: Game number seven, North Melbourne, Sydney go head to head.
- 14:04SPEAKER_00: Well we got 10 goals.
- 14:15SPEAKER_00: Sydney look a bit unsure what is happening with the Rain Players.
- 14:20SPEAKER_00: When you take on a big win, take the win.
- 14:23SPEAKER_00: When you know it's important, take the pressure.
- 14:26SPEAKER_00: Sydney unfortunately team 2.42 goals 11 at 11.21 scoring shot to six.
- 14:33SPEAKER_00: It's 15 separate two sides.
- 14:36SPEAKER_00: But after Melbourne, defeating Melbourne in round seven, Northern have continued their winning form once again after they lost against Hawthorne.
- 14:46SPEAKER_00: Henry's well done.
- 14:47SPEAKER_00: Went on to North Melbourne with the victory.
- 14:49SPEAKER_00: Alright, it's time me to face our next game, which is game number eight.
- 14:54SPEAKER_00: Amother Victorian rivals, Collingwood and Melbourne Demons.
- 14:59SPEAKER_00: Game number eight, full bound.
- 15:01SPEAKER_00: Eight, eight, and eight.
- 15:02SPEAKER_00: Ha ha ha ha ha.
- 15:02SPEAKER_00: Very funny.
- 15:03SPEAKER_00: Hollywood and Melbourne Demons at Victoria Park.
- 15:06SPEAKER_00: Where Collingwood played their game.
- 15:08SPEAKER_00: Train their games.
- 15:09SPEAKER_00: Final score.
- 15:10SPEAKER_00: Melbourne taking the victory.
- 15:11SPEAKER_00: But Collingwood kicked 2-9-21.
- 15:14SPEAKER_00: Defeated 6-6-42.
- 15:16SPEAKER_00: Melbourne Demons taking the victory.
- 15:18SPEAKER_00: Taking the apprenticeship points.
- 15:19SPEAKER_00: 12 scoring shots to 11.
- 15:22SPEAKER_00: So it's a big difference when you go down through a hot environment in Melbourne.
- 15:27SPEAKER_00: It's a very important to take the win.
- 15:30SPEAKER_00: Yes, losing to North Melbourne.
- 15:32SPEAKER_00: And as well, Melbourne's bouncing back with a good victory here.
- 15:37SPEAKER_00: This is what the Melbourne Demons need to tag on their rivals.
- 15:40SPEAKER_00: Like the Kingsburg Day traditional.
- 15:42SPEAKER_00: But this is a very important win.
- 15:44SPEAKER_00: Well done to Melbourne.
- 15:45SPEAKER_00: Connorwood heads up.
- 15:47SPEAKER_00: It's time to face our final game for round eight.
- 15:50SPEAKER_00: Where we have the Western Derby.
- 15:53SPEAKER_00: West Coast and Friental.
- 15:56SPEAKER_00: Alright, let's try and interesting.
- 15:58SPEAKER_00: West Coast and Friontal, another interesting rival.
- 16:01SPEAKER_00: See it.
- 16:01SPEAKER_00: It's the Western Australian rival means the Western Derby.
- 16:05SPEAKER_00: We made to the final game for round eight.
- 16:07SPEAKER_00: And what a way to finish the round.
- 16:10SPEAKER_00: The Western Derby! Final score here.
- 16:15SPEAKER_00: 5-9-39-4-3-27.
- 16:17SPEAKER_00: 12-point to the mighty West Coast Eagles.
- 16:20SPEAKER_00: West Coast are finding they're stretching up the ladder with Free Antwort unsure where they really are.
- 16:25SPEAKER_00: West Coast did host this game on their oval instead of Friands.
- 16:29SPEAKER_00: I'm unsure exactly where the Oval was laced.
- 16:33SPEAKER_00: So I'm very pronounced that well run to the Eagles take on top of these, claiming their princeship points and defeating their own rivals, Free Antwerp, in their western derby.
- 16:44SPEAKER_00: And that's my thoughts.
- 16:46SPEAKER_00: Round eight has come to an end.
- 16:48SPEAKER_00: We had some big wins, close games, OLB, great rivals.
- 16:52SPEAKER_00: Some really interesting results.
- 16:54SPEAKER_00: Bad kicking, bad scoring, and not even one team kick a goal.
- 16:58SPEAKER_00: But well, we're not finished just yet.
- 16:59SPEAKER_00: Yep, that's it.
- 17:00SPEAKER_00: We got one more game, one more set of games.
- 17:03SPEAKER_00: I know it's been a long time.
- 17:05SPEAKER_00: Well, we're not gonna chat along and go all night long.
- 17:10SPEAKER_00: Let's drive in to our reminder.

- 17:44SPEAKER_00: I know we're finally there.
- 17:46SPEAKER_00: If we have time, we'll chat.
- 17:48SPEAKER_00: After the ninth round, with only a few more rounds of the A of O W.
- 17:52SPEAKER_00: Winnership ladder.
- 17:54SPEAKER_00: Let's go into round all our first game for round number nine.
- 17:59SPEAKER_00: That's right.
- 18:01SPEAKER_00: Ninth round.
- 18:02SPEAKER_00: Game one.
- 18:03SPEAKER_00: Western Bullocks Essenden.
- 18:05SPEAKER_00: Well, I gotta say right now, Esnon becoming some confidence.
- 18:08SPEAKER_00: The dogs want to improve themselves.
- 18:11SPEAKER_00: King three goals, 13, 30 point victory, but they took a one-step better King 10-5 to beat a 2-10.
- 18:20SPEAKER_00: Es and then be disappointed.
- 18:22SPEAKER_00: They know how much the dogs are looking a bit better taking a 43-point victory.
- 18:27SPEAKER_00: Quite a lesson to the dogs by there.
- 18:30SPEAKER_00: Essentially know they'll be disappointed.
- 18:32SPEAKER_00: They have had a very rebuilding style team.
- 18:35SPEAKER_00: Since that joined the Avell W.
- 18:37SPEAKER_00: They have gone a long way to meaning win apprenticeship.
- 18:41SPEAKER_00: And only mention two goals.
- 18:43SPEAKER_00: This happens.
- 18:44SPEAKER_00: It happens in so many times.
- 18:46SPEAKER_00: They have really struggled for accuracy.
- 18:48SPEAKER_00: But I think those goals will come very well.
- 18:51SPEAKER_00: Once again, back to back wins for the mighty Bulldogs.
- 18:55SPEAKER_00: Congratulations again.
- 18:56SPEAKER_00: Essentially, heads up, all the best next round.
- 18:59SPEAKER_00: Let's go to game number two.
- 19:00SPEAKER_00: And what a game this was.
- 19:02SPEAKER_00: I'll show you game number two, ninth round right now.
- 19:05SPEAKER_00: Let's go to St.
- 19:06SPEAKER_00: Kilda and Conningwood.
- 19:08SPEAKER_00: Game two, St.
- 19:09SPEAKER_00: Kilda, Collingwood.
- 19:10SPEAKER_00: Oh, I can't believe I'm showing this game.
- 19:13SPEAKER_00: So what a good game this was.
- 19:15SPEAKER_00: This is one of the biggest upset I've seen all round.
- 19:19SPEAKER_00: St.
- 19:19SPEAKER_00: Kilda 5939, they got the W.
- 19:22SPEAKER_00: 5737, two-point victory there.
- 19:26SPEAKER_00: Well done to the St.
- 19:27SPEAKER_00: Kilda Saints.
- 19:28SPEAKER_00: They take the win, they take the friendship points, of course, of course.
- 19:32SPEAKER_00: So how amazing this is to take that relief, to get the heavy defeated, both ends of the floor, off the ground, the footy oval, and take those rivals into victories.
- 19:47SPEAKER_00: The most important for St.
- 19:48SPEAKER_00: Kilda is enjoy it, all the best next week.
- 19:51SPEAKER_00: Connor with heads up, let's go to game number three.
- 19:53SPEAKER_00: Game three, Port LA hosting West Coast.
- 19:57SPEAKER_00: That's it.
- 19:57SPEAKER_00: 3826 defeat free 422.
- 20:02SPEAKER_00: A matter low scoring game.
- 20:04SPEAKER_00: Port A claiming this win after their defeat against the Western Bulldogs.
- 20:09SPEAKER_00: West Coast will have a confident win victory and bring that confidence over their rivals against Brent Hall Dockers.
- 20:18SPEAKER_00: Now, hosting a game on the road, not easy.
- 20:21SPEAKER_00: West Coast will have confidence and they'll take that.
- 20:24SPEAKER_00: Port Adelaide, they'll be disappointed, they'll be happy, and also with that showdown win, go to Melbourne and win oval against the Dogs in good form, and then they'll bounce back from their loss against well, they defeated West Coast.
- 20:38SPEAKER_00: West Coast has shown some really good signs, but after they're defeated, and you know, back one win, one loss, one win.
- 20:45SPEAKER_00: You know, it's a really important win for Port Adelaide.
- 20:48SPEAKER_00: West Coast heads up all the best next round.
- 20:50SPEAKER_00: Same with Port Adelaide.
- 20:51SPEAKER_00: Now my footing's done.
- 20:53SPEAKER_00: Let's go to game number four.
- 20:55SPEAKER_00: Game four, Geelong and the GWS Giants.
- 20:59SPEAKER_00: Final score here.
- 21:00SPEAKER_00: 63 points for the Geelong cat.
- 21:02SPEAKER_00: 14 1296.
- 21:04SPEAKER_00: 5 feet 33.
- 21:06SPEAKER_00: That's acquis.
- 21:08SPEAKER_00: Gold point for the round.
- 21:09SPEAKER_00: Geelong are the best teams for scoring goals.
- 21:12SPEAKER_00: You never know where you are.
- 21:15SPEAKER_00: This is going to be a very difficult season for other teams to show how amazing they are.
- 21:21SPEAKER_00: Geelong are looking very strong.
- 21:23SPEAKER_00: GWS Giants, they'll be more learning than maybe moving on to next round in so many ways.
- 21:33SPEAKER_00: So, how important this is for Geelong.
- 21:36SPEAKER_00: They're sitting very nicely in the mats more like all those wings.
- 21:41SPEAKER_00: They are in that part eight and sitting.
- 21:44SPEAKER_00: Well, we'll share.
- 21:45SPEAKER_00: Maybe we have time to share those where Geelong are sitting at the moment.
- 21:49SPEAKER_00: They are not in that bottom part of the ladder, they are up there.
- 21:52SPEAKER_00: They just in the top eight.
- 21:54SPEAKER_00: I can just say that.
- 21:55SPEAKER_00: Wes the giants! Test by test, they were gonna be strong.
- 22:00SPEAKER_00: Struggling against the giant uh for the mining cats.
- 22:03SPEAKER_00: You can't spec to win from specimen to win, but we know they are in the rebuild.
- 22:08SPEAKER_00: Heads up, all the best next round.
- 22:11SPEAKER_00: John, all the best next round.
- 22:13SPEAKER_00: It's time for bait are halfway through the mark.
- 22:16SPEAKER_00: Game five.
- 22:17SPEAKER_00: Let's go.
- 22:18SPEAKER_00: Richmond and Adelaide right now.
- 22:20SPEAKER_00: And what a busy weekend of football we've had so far.
- 22:25SPEAKER_00: So all the above that Richmond were actually played better than I think.
- 22:31SPEAKER_00: They guess they're in the rebuild.
- 22:33SPEAKER_00: Yes, they are struggling.
- 22:34SPEAKER_00: Yes, they know that the season is done for the season.
- 22:38SPEAKER_00: But Adelaide, Adelaide, Crows finally make their mark, claiming a mother chance in the race for the finals.
- 22:46SPEAKER_00: And they take it with one step better.
- 22:49SPEAKER_00: Final score here.
- 22:51SPEAKER_00: Adelaide Crows, 9 862, defeated 4-6-30.
- 22:55SPEAKER_00: Adelaide winning by 32-point victory here.
- 22:58SPEAKER_00: After the showdown loss, after big losses, I can't claim all the loss Adelaide done in a row.
- 23:05SPEAKER_00: And that's not really the important fact.
- 23:07SPEAKER_00: But you know, which Richmond struggled.
- 23:09SPEAKER_00: They got one goal better.
- 23:11SPEAKER_00: Yes, they didn't lose by eight, nine goals.
- 23:14SPEAKER_00: They only lost by five goals, 32 points.
- 23:17SPEAKER_00: That's the actual margin.
- 23:18SPEAKER_00: So I could take that.
- 23:20SPEAKER_00: But you know, Richmond's pressure did look really, really flat in the second half, but they just came out and controlled it.
- 23:27SPEAKER_00: Skills were high, pressure was high, believing and trust, and that's all you can do.
- 23:32SPEAKER_00: So, recruiting result for the Crows, they kept a very important win.
- 23:36SPEAKER_00: They came nine goals and managed to four goals to the Tigers.
- 23:40SPEAKER_00: After losing round eight against Port, they bounced back.
- 23:43SPEAKER_00: Well done to the mighty Adlay Crows.
- 23:46SPEAKER_00: Battle Richmond, all the best next week.
- 23:48SPEAKER_00: I know it's been a rebuilding season.
- 23:50SPEAKER_00: It's been a tough season.
- 23:51SPEAKER_00: Let's go to game number six.
- 23:53SPEAKER_00: We have Gold Coast and Melbourne Demons.
- 23:57SPEAKER_00: Gold Coast and Melbourne Demons coming up.
- 23:59SPEAKER_00: Game number six, that's where we are.
- 24:01SPEAKER_00: We're strained to a nine goals, 761, defeated.
- 24:06SPEAKER_00: 5939, 22 points.
- 24:08SPEAKER_00: Gold Coast tagging this win.
- 24:10SPEAKER_00: And they are looking very nicely.
- 24:13SPEAKER_00: Melbourne, those back-to-back wins, unfortunately, not getting the result on the Gold Coast.
- 24:18SPEAKER_00: Gold Coast have shown what they can do as well.
- 24:24SPEAKER_00: It's not been an easy season for generally for Melbourne.
- 24:29SPEAKER_00: Well, generally for anyone can really need that win.
- 24:32SPEAKER_00: And goal Gold Coast taking it, and they look too good to the sides going head to head.
- 24:40SPEAKER_00: What a fantastic result for the Suns.
- 24:42SPEAKER_00: They needed that win and to find themselves in that top four if that's in the case of changing the next round.
- 24:49SPEAKER_00: Anything can happen.
- 24:51SPEAKER_00: The most important thing is big challenge for Gold Coast, tagging the strongest team in the competition and with a win.
- 24:58SPEAKER_00: So after that, congratulations to Gold Coast waking back-to-back wins.
- 25:04SPEAKER_00: Ballot to Melbourne.
- 25:06SPEAKER_00: They defeated Brisbane as well, the Gold Coast Suns.
- 25:09SPEAKER_00: Melbourne will learn from this loss.
- 25:11SPEAKER_00: Let's go to game number seven, North Melbourne versus Friental Dockers.
- 25:16SPEAKER_00: Game number seven, we're only three games to end this episode.
- 25:25SPEAKER_00: Friental.
- 25:26SPEAKER_00: A mother's season for Friental.
- 25:29SPEAKER_00: Have they got enough magic ability?
- 25:32SPEAKER_00: Anything can come through them.
- 25:34SPEAKER_00: They've had some very good wins, especially the one in Adelaide against the Crows, which no one even saw that coming.
- 25:41SPEAKER_00: Both of them, I just mentioned, are in the race for the finals.
- 25:45SPEAKER_00: The only most important thing is those two sides and including main possibility for West Coast and Port Adelaide if their big wins come, they'll take the advantage of playing finals.
- 25:56SPEAKER_00: So coming moving on to North Melbourne, they are back in action.
- 26:00SPEAKER_00: They are looking very nicely with the biggest percentage in the AFLW, and they claim this win by 28 points.
- 26:09SPEAKER_00: Accuracy is North Melbourne's best strength.
- 26:11SPEAKER_00: With against they can just give them points and they can just kick goals, no problems.
- 26:16SPEAKER_00: This is the important win.
- 26:18SPEAKER_00: Three wins in the row for the mighty North Melbourne can roos.
- 26:21SPEAKER_00: Questionates to them.
- 26:22SPEAKER_00: Friends are all the best.
- 26:23SPEAKER_00: I know it's been a tough, tough couple of weeks.
- 26:26SPEAKER_00: Tagging on your rival, lost by 12 points, tackle North Melbourne in Melbourne and losing by 28 points.
- 26:32SPEAKER_00: So that's a 40 points overall in two weeks.
- 26:35SPEAKER_00: That sits in the big gold apart.
- 26:38SPEAKER_00: So I know it's been tough, but believing trust is all about for North Melbourne and as well for Frantal.
- 26:44SPEAKER_00: All the best next week.
- 26:45SPEAKER_00: Well done to North Melbourne.
- 26:46SPEAKER_00: Let's get to our last two games.
- 26:48SPEAKER_00: We've got game eight, Hawthorne and Brisbane coming up.
- 26:51SPEAKER_00: That's why game eight, run nine, Hawthorne and Brisbane go head to head in our next results here on the Av's footy show.
- 27:02SPEAKER_00: Presented by the BJ Show.
- 27:03SPEAKER_00: Hope you enjoyed so far.
- 27:04SPEAKER_00: Here we go.
- 27:05SPEAKER_00: So Hawthorne taking a 9-11 65 feet of 6 for 40 Brisbane and looking un very unsure.
- 27:12SPEAKER_00: Are they the team to look like they are on the road to rebuild and they are totally on the rebuild side?
- 27:19SPEAKER_00: Brisbane coming from a really good, sensational club.
- 27:22SPEAKER_00: They are still a very hard team to play.
- 27:25SPEAKER_00: Hawthorne well down the win after those heavy losses.
- 27:28SPEAKER_00: And you beat the best team in the comp to take on the bat uh the well, a team called the Runners Up and beating the fending champions of North Melbourne after those losses.
- 27:41SPEAKER_00: They finally got the loss.
- 27:42SPEAKER_00: It really means a lot.
- 27:44SPEAKER_00: And well, well done to Hawthorne with the win, Brisbane.
- 27:47SPEAKER_00: It's been a struggling season and know that after the loss against Carlton, now Hawthorne bounced back with a very important win and as well followed by two weeks ago.
- 27:58SPEAKER_00: So they lost a couple games in a row, Hawthorne, but they get back on the winning list.
- 28:02SPEAKER_00: Well done to the Haw.
- 28:04SPEAKER_00: Well, for the Brisbane Lions, struggling season is a rebuilding season, all the best next round.
- 28:09SPEAKER_00: Let's do our final game, Sydney and Carlton.
- 28:13SPEAKER_00: We are on the ninth game, final game for round nine, nine for nine.
- 28:19SPEAKER_00: There we go.
- 28:19SPEAKER_00: Like I'd say eight and eight earlier in the episode.
- 28:22SPEAKER_00: Sydney and Carlton go head to head.
- 28:24SPEAKER_00: Carlton are looking hot.
- 28:26SPEAKER_00: They are looking strong.
- 28:27SPEAKER_00: 27 point victory.
- 28:29SPEAKER_00: Here is Sydney's eight behind.
- 28:31SPEAKER_00: They'll go for 8.32.
- 28:33SPEAKER_00: 8-11-59.
- 28:34SPEAKER_00: This is impressive for Carlton.
- 28:36SPEAKER_00: They've shown what they can do.
- 28:38SPEAKER_00: And boy, oh boy, here's a victory means it's a good win.
- 28:41SPEAKER_00: Which can't get eight goals, 11.
- 28:43SPEAKER_00: And wild for goals eight.
- 28:46SPEAKER_00: Carlton taking the bat-to-bat win.
- 28:49SPEAKER_00: Just a few bat-to-bat wins here.
- 28:50SPEAKER_00: Hawthorne now.
- 28:52SPEAKER_00: We just missing Sydney on the road.
- 28:54SPEAKER_00: On the road, by the way.
- 28:55SPEAKER_00: So this is a really important win.
- 28:57SPEAKER_00: And Shona Conn can be in the mix play finals.
- 29:01SPEAKER_00: And I think they are really truly in the mix to play finals, and that's a really good sign for that.
- 29:07SPEAKER_00: So that's my thoughts, and that's game nine complete.
- 29:11SPEAKER_00: We've now covered all nine games from round nine.
- 29:15SPEAKER_00: That means we finished 27 games across the Avil W rounds of 7-8N as well.
- 29:22SPEAKER_00: Finishing up just now.
- 29:23SPEAKER_00: It's round nine.

- 29:32SPEAKER_00: Along the way.
- 29:34SPEAKER_00: What a fantastic free round of Avil W action.
- 29:38SPEAKER_00: Thanks for listening.
- 29:40SPEAKER_00: So that's it.
- 29:41SPEAKER_00: We got it all covered.
- 29:42SPEAKER_00: We had a lot to talk about.
- 29:44SPEAKER_00: That's right across 7, 8, and 9 of the AFL W.
