1:21
SPEAKER_01: I just read the whole title for you.
1:22
SPEAKER_01: And um a little bit of my mouth, and now half my mouth is numb.
1:26
SPEAKER_01: So that's what I'm dealing with.
1:29

1:42
SPEAKER_04: But first, want to do some mad lips?
1:45
SPEAKER_01: Oh, but first, let's embarrass Brittany, the future educator who doesn't know her fucking synonyms and shit.
1:51
SPEAKER_04: Let's go.
1:52
SPEAKER_04: Well, they don't ask for synonyms, just like nouns and verbs and nouns and adverbs.
1:58
SPEAKER_01: And this is when I really focus in on learning content.
2:04
SPEAKER_04: Well, you know, we make content.
2:07
SPEAKER_04: I put up a call.
2:08
SPEAKER_04: We got we got some words on Instagram, so you don't have to fill out that many.
2:13
SPEAKER_04: And it's a short one, actually.
2:15
SPEAKER_04: Are you ready?
2:16
SPEAKER_01: What's the yeah?
2:17
SPEAKER_01: What's the title?
2:18
SPEAKER_01: Let's go.
2:19
SPEAKER_04: Okay.
2:19
SPEAKER_04: The title is out on the lanai.
2:23
SPEAKER_01: Oh, memories of the girls on the lanai.
2:26
SPEAKER_04: Yeah.
2:28
SPEAKER_04: All right.
2:29
SPEAKER_04: Occupation.
2:31
SPEAKER_01: Oof.
2:32
SPEAKER_01: Um, there's so many.
2:37
SPEAKER_01: I don't know.
2:38
SPEAKER_01: Um, Masseuse.
2:40
SPEAKER_04: Ooh.
2:40
SPEAKER_04: I don't know how to spell that, but okay.
2:43
SPEAKER_01: E try your hardest.
2:44
SPEAKER_04: E before you or you before e.
2:46
SPEAKER_04: I don't know.
2:47
SPEAKER_04: A verb.
2:49
SPEAKER_01: No, my vowel teams.
2:51
SPEAKER_01: A verb.
2:53
unknown: Verb.
2:54
SPEAKER_01: Swatting.
2:56
SPEAKER_04: SWAT.
2:58
SPEAKER_00: SWATING.
2:59
SPEAKER_04: SWAT.
3:00
SPEAKER_04: That's a verb ending in ing.
3:02
SPEAKER_04: Okay, animal.
3:06
SPEAKER_01: I don't know.
3:07
SPEAKER_04: Um either.
3:10
SPEAKER_01: Sure.
3:11
SPEAKER_04: A type of food.
3:13
SPEAKER_01: I was coughing on mute.
3:15
SPEAKER_01: I'm sorry I didn't hear you.
3:24
SPEAKER_04: Yeah, I did.
3:25
SPEAKER_04: Holy cow.
3:26
SPEAKER_04: This motherfucker.
3:28
SPEAKER_04: There's gonna be a murder in my house tonight.
3:32
SPEAKER_01: If this was like a video recording, they would just see me like cough a lot.
3:37
SPEAKER_01: Swatting a lot.
3:39
SPEAKER_01: Lisa has her back turned to me right now, swatting.
3:45
SPEAKER_04: It's so interesting.
3:46
SPEAKER_04: I'm sorry.
3:48
SPEAKER_04: I let I opened the door for 10 seconds to let the dog in and it flew in.
3:54
SPEAKER_04: Like you are not welcome here.
3:56
SPEAKER_04: You don't live here.
3:57
SPEAKER_04: You don't pay rent.
3:58
SPEAKER_04: Get the fuck out of my house.
4:00
unknown: Oh my god.
4:01
SPEAKER_01: What about during the summer when we had the I don't know if it was cicada?
4:07
SPEAKER_01: It was a cicada.
4:09
SPEAKER_01: No, because we had the lantern flies at the same time, and there was some shit.
4:12
SPEAKER_01: No, you're right.
4:13
SPEAKER_01: It was a cicada.
4:14
SPEAKER_01: Although we just see lantern flies in your yard.
4:16
SPEAKER_01: The one with the flyer that flew right into my fucking forehead that I like jumped across your whole like porch.
4:22
SPEAKER_04: I was like, I mean, you had a glass of red wine in your hand and you were wearing a white sweater.
4:29
unknown: Oh my god.
4:29
SPEAKER_04: It spilled all over your white sweater.
4:32
SPEAKER_01: Yeah, I mean it came out, thankfully, but like the fact of the matter was, yeah, I think so.
4:37
SPEAKER_01: If I remember right, yeah.
4:39
SPEAKER_04: And then the cicada went in the fire and it still didn't die.
4:43
SPEAKER_04: It was like buzzing around on fire.
4:46
SPEAKER_01: That shit was giant.
4:49
SPEAKER_01: That was a big boy.
4:51
SPEAKER_01: That was like a four-incher, you know.
4:53
SPEAKER_04: I'm surprised you didn't have a bruise.
4:55
SPEAKER_01: I know.
4:56
SPEAKER_01: That's when I say this thing flew into me, and Lisa and I were just walk, we were just trying to have our wine, and we were just trying to like bullshit and do our thing, like we're doing now, Conda.
5:06
SPEAKER_01: And this thing just wanted to interrupt us.
5:10
SPEAKER_01: Like that.
5:11
SPEAKER_01: It hurt.
5:13
SPEAKER_01: And then that thing didn't die.
5:15
SPEAKER_01: So anyway, yeah, this is a spirit coming to haunts you now.
5:18
SPEAKER_01: Because apparently, episode five is the episode where they're just like, nah.
5:23
unknown: No.
5:23
SPEAKER_01: I'm gonna be the fly on the wall, the reporter.
5:29
SPEAKER_04: Alright.
5:31
SPEAKER_04: Type of food.
5:33
SPEAKER_01: Oh, change liger to fly, because now it's gotta be a thing.
5:37
SPEAKER_02: Okay.
5:38
SPEAKER_01: Thank you.
5:39
SPEAKER_01: Type of food.
5:42
SPEAKER_01: Sore throat spray is not a food.
5:44
SPEAKER_01: I'm fucking things in my surroundings.
5:47
SPEAKER_01: Having COVID, I haven't really been eating these fast few days because I don't have an appetite.
5:51
SPEAKER_01: Um, I had tuna fish tonight and I got sick from it.
5:54
SPEAKER_01: So let's write tuna fish.
5:57
SPEAKER_02: Okay.
5:58
SPEAKER_01: I don't know.
5:58
SPEAKER_01: I was like in a in a mood for it, and I guess I really wasn't.
6:02
SPEAKER_04: I think you were eating tuna fish the last time we did this.
6:04
SPEAKER_04: You know, was it the time before that?
6:06
SPEAKER_01: Same food from the same people.
6:09
SPEAKER_01: Ding sick the first time, had COVID both times.
6:12
SPEAKER_01: It's my life's been weird lately.
6:14
SPEAKER_01: We thought last episode it got bad, this episode got worse.
6:17
SPEAKER_01: Oh my gosh.
6:18
SPEAKER_04: We're and we're we haven't even started with clickbait yet.
6:21
SPEAKER_04: Okay, I need one more noun, and then you're done.
6:24
SPEAKER_01: Person plays your thing.
6:33
SPEAKER_01: I just, you know what?
6:35
SPEAKER_01: I know my people, I know my places, now I know my things, but I just want to choose a good one, and this is where I struggle because I feel like I don't pick good ones.
6:43
SPEAKER_01: Like I can do like toilet paper.
6:45
SPEAKER_01: How is that good?
6:47
SPEAKER_04: Okay, toilet paper.
6:49
SPEAKER_04: Okay, okay, Doki.
6:52
SPEAKER_04: This one is called Out on the Lanai.
6:54
SPEAKER_04: For those of you who uh helped us out and put some words on Instagram.
7:02
SPEAKER_04: Thank you so much.
7:03
SPEAKER_01: I have poopy brain.
7:04
SPEAKER_01: I needed that help.
7:05
SPEAKER_04: Yeah, okay.
7:07
SPEAKER_04: So you would think that the girls' Lanai would be the perfect place to relax and clear your crusty ass.
7:16
SPEAKER_04: And even though I am I'm not gonna name everybody who participated, shout out to our the podcast friend Jamar for crusty ass.
7:26
SPEAKER_04: So thanks, Jamar.
7:27
SPEAKER_04: We miss you.
7:29
SPEAKER_00: Thanks, Jamar.
7:31
SPEAKER_04: Uh but it seems that something wonky is always happening out there, like when Blanche hires a stripper dressed as a masseuse to SWAT at Dorothy's bridal shower.
7:48
SPEAKER_04: A man in a fly costume parachutes down, thinking he is at the tuna fish bowl.
7:57
SPEAKER_04: Rose sees an English cucumber in the night sky and thinks it's a UFO.
8:05
SPEAKER_04: Dorothy and Miles get swept away in the sultry moonlight and share a forbidden Ricky Martin.
8:13
unknown: Okay.
8:14
SPEAKER_04: Um Sophia puts a Sicilian self-help book on the neighbor on the neighbor after his strawberry flavored lube crashes onto their toilet paper.
8:31
SPEAKER_00: Instead of saying you have your period, it's like uh, you know, the strawberry flavored lube's coming out of me.
8:36
SPEAKER_00: Oh paper.
8:39
SPEAKER_02: Okay.
8:45
SPEAKER_04: Let's jump into the episode.
8:47
SPEAKER_04: So you're not drinking because you got the rona still.
8:52
SPEAKER_01: Yeah, I don't think it's good to no, no, no.
8:54
SPEAKER_01: I just want to get better, and it's probably not the best idea to drink on unbranded Musimax, you know what I mean?
9:00
SPEAKER_04: It's probably not good to drink any kind of medicine and wine together.
9:06
SPEAKER_01: So yeah, I'm planning on taking the drowsy one a little bit too.
9:09
SPEAKER_01: So I didn't think that'd be a good idea.
9:11
SPEAKER_04: It's cool.
9:12
SPEAKER_04: Don't worry, I got your back.
9:13
SPEAKER_04: I'm gonna drink enough for you and me.
9:14
SPEAKER_01: Yeah, there we go, Lisa.
9:16
SPEAKER_04: I've already started.
9:18
SPEAKER_04: As you can tell, because I can't say words.
9:23
SPEAKER_04: Neither can I, we're fine.
9:26
SPEAKER_04: This is like dumb and dumb or analyze clickbait.
9:29
SPEAKER_01: Yeah, I get to be gym playing.
9:32
SPEAKER_01: They know what they're coming here for.
9:33
SPEAKER_01: Like nobody said we're like the smartest or the sharpest tools in the shop.
9:37
SPEAKER_04: So no, we're fun, we're not brilliant.
9:40
SPEAKER_01: There we go.
9:41
SPEAKER_04: We're smart, but but yeah.
9:44
SPEAKER_01: Oh, yeah, catch me outside my daily life, and I'll have all my shit together.
9:47
SPEAKER_01: But for some reason, I turn on Zoom and I'm like I'm like an adverb or a pronoun.
9:54
SPEAKER_00: I never heard of a pronoun before.
9:57
SPEAKER_00: My dumb ass forgets everything.
10:00
SPEAKER_01: Uh, but moving on from me, moving on from you, moving on to Ben Young, the reporter.
10:05
SPEAKER_04: The reporter.
10:09
SPEAKER_04: So this episode focuses.
10:11
SPEAKER_04: Wait, hold on.
10:12
SPEAKER_01: Did I say Ben Young?
10:13
SPEAKER_01: His name's Ben Park.
10:15
SPEAKER_04: Park.
10:16
SPEAKER_04: Did you I don't know.
10:17
SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
10:17
SPEAKER_01: I didn't get it.
10:18
SPEAKER_01: I'm looking at the top of the paper.
10:22
SPEAKER_04: Oh my god.
10:23
SPEAKER_04: Okay, we really are stupid.
10:27
SPEAKER_00: Oh my god, just read the synopsis.
10:30
unknown: Okay.
10:31
SPEAKER_04: So Ben Park is the reporter, and he shows the interview that he had with Emma in the previous episode to his editor, Dakota.
10:42
SPEAKER_04: She orders him to find more information on the matter and get an interview with Sophie.
10:48
SPEAKER_04: So Ben poses as a food delivery man.
10:52
SPEAKER_04: And then he goes to their house and the kid answers the door and he's like, here, food delivery.
10:58
SPEAKER_04: And the kid is like he like is like okay, and then just leaves the door open and walks away.
11:04
unknown: Yeah.
11:05
SPEAKER_04: You obviously never lived in the fucking hood, kid.
11:07
SPEAKER_04: What the fuck?
11:09
unknown: No.
11:10
SPEAKER_01: Definitely not living in the hood in the house that they're living in.
11:13
SPEAKER_01: But it was like really sad because like you could see Ethan was like really distressed and he didn't want to answer the door because he like thought it was paparazzi, and like that's like a big line to cross.
11:24
SPEAKER_01: I mean, these paparazzis were like surrounding Sophie's car, not even letting her leave the driveway that Ruby had to spray them, like the last episode of the one before.
11:33
SPEAKER_01: But I mean, like, all the reporters know not to go up to Victor right now.
11:37
SPEAKER_04: Well, which is all the more reason that you shouldn't leave your door open.
11:42
unknown: Yeah.
11:43
SPEAKER_04: Somebody killed your father.
11:44
SPEAKER_04: You don't know who it is.
11:46
SPEAKER_04: And so some stranger just paparazzi, you got people all of all outside of your house, and somebody comes to the door, even though they say food delivery, you just like, cool, let me leave the door open for you so you could just walk into my house and take pictures.
12:02
SPEAKER_04: Because that's what he ended up doing.
12:04
SPEAKER_01: Yeah, and I get he really wanted to like show Dakota, like his boss or his editor, that like he has what it takes to be a really good reporter.
12:13
SPEAKER_01: But at the same time, that was a big line to cross.
12:17
SPEAKER_04: Yeah.
12:18
SPEAKER_01: Which really shows that like he doesn't really give a shit about people.
12:23
SPEAKER_04: And that's not the first time he crosses the line in this episode.
12:26
SPEAKER_01: And that's why I was gonna say, this is just like kind of like foreshadowing what he's doing later on in the episode.
12:32
SPEAKER_01: And I'm not saying he's a bad person, he just made really shitty decisions, but let's continue.
12:38
SPEAKER_01: So he's inside the house, snapping pictures.
12:41
SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
12:41
SPEAKER_01: And Ethan, I think, gets Pia discovers him.
12:45
SPEAKER_01: Yeah, I think Ethan was like, hey, like, somebody deliver food, I need like money or some shit like that.
12:49
SPEAKER_01: Like he was trying to get paid's attention for a credit card or something, and that's when but I don't think so.
12:55
SPEAKER_04: I thought he just kind of like walked, it seemed like he just kind of walked away, and then Pia saw him, like she noticed that he was there.
13:03
SPEAKER_01: I thought Ethan was getting somebody's attention because he was like who ordered food or something like that.
13:07
SPEAKER_01: Like he walked away with purpose.
13:09
SPEAKER_04: Like yeah, he walked away with a purpose, but but he didn't walk to Pia.
13:13
SPEAKER_04: No, I I guess maybe that was like the impression that I got when I watched was Pia was kind of alone and that he didn't even know Pia was there.
13:22
SPEAKER_04: So he was just inside taking pictures or filming, and then Pia caught on.
13:29
SPEAKER_00: Yeah, and she was just like, obviously, she was like, What the fuck are you doing?
13:32
SPEAKER_00: She just started yelling at him.
13:33
SPEAKER_04: Pia was like, uh-uh, we don't play that shit here.
13:35
SPEAKER_01: No, before he left, he said some shit like, I work for this company or whatever, like, here's my card.
13:42
SPEAKER_01: If you wanna this interview's coming out with Emma.
13:44
SPEAKER_04: Yeah, right.
13:45
SPEAKER_01: To tell if you want to say something before we put out her thing, like it's come it's coming out no matter what you say.
13:51
SPEAKER_01: And he tells them like what he's gonna do and gives them the ultimatum.
13:54
SPEAKER_01: If you want to get your word in before she gets her word in before we publish it, here's my number.
13:59
SPEAKER_04: Right.
13:59
SPEAKER_04: Yeah, he goes home, and him and his boyfriend Cameron are attempting to find Nick's online dating profiles, and then they discover Jenny, who's been commenting on an online forum, that anyone who attempts to defend Nick didn't really know him.
14:16
SPEAKER_04: So now he tries to he figures out who Jenny is and he confronts her the next day at the college.
14:22
SPEAKER_01: He was like doing his job.
14:23
SPEAKER_01: He like went to go find her screen name, and then it was like on a post of like a picture of volleyball team, and so underneath this says, like in the caption of the photo, it lists like everybody from right to left.
14:35
SPEAKER_01: Like, whenever you see like a photo of a group of people, it does this.
14:37
SPEAKER_01: Like her name can be found, like Jenny, whatever, like underneath, and he realizes that and he goes and he finds her on campus.
14:44
SPEAKER_01: And so then he starts asking her questions.
14:47
SPEAKER_04: I forgot exactly what he's and then and his um cameraman is like standing back with the camera kind of at his side, yeah, you know, slyly filming surreptitiously big word, and she tells him that she believes that Nick may have had something to do with Tara Wilson, who's another girl who was on the volleyball team but left because she believes that Nick abused her.
15:16
SPEAKER_01: Yeah, so like they were seen like or heard arguing, arguing, yeah, before she quit.
15:22
SPEAKER_04: Basically, that ends there because Matt comes out and is like, is there a problem here?
15:27
SPEAKER_04: And Ben's like, yeah, I was gonna join the team.
15:31
SPEAKER_04: Yeah, right.
15:32
SPEAKER_04: Matt's like, this is an old girl volleyball team, and he's like, Yeah, they're tall.
15:37
SPEAKER_01: It's so stupid.
15:38
SPEAKER_01: Yeah, but at least like Meg leaves with the lead and his needs to go find Tara.
15:45
SPEAKER_04: Yeah.
15:46
SPEAKER_04: So he attempts to speak with Tara, um, but she refuses to give a statement.
15:51
SPEAKER_04: And then when he gets back to the office, Sophie's there with her lawyer and she's meeting with Dakota, and she wants to sue the network because Ben trespassed into her house.
16:01
SPEAKER_04: In an attempt to avoid charges, Dakota agrees not to air the interview with Emma if Sophie will do an exclusive interview with them.
16:10
SPEAKER_04: And eventually she agrees.
16:13
SPEAKER_04: But in the meantime, actually, like right before that happened, Pia and Sophie are in the house, and they're like, they want to stop Emma's story from coming out.
16:23
SPEAKER_04: Sophie calls what's his name?
16:25
SPEAKER_04: Rish Rashawn?
16:27
SPEAKER_04: Amiri, Detective Amiri.
16:29
SPEAKER_04: Yeah, and she says, like, you know what's going on, and that they want to stop the story, and he's like, Well, we're trying to run the plates and we're looking for the car who hit Emma, but like that's about it.
16:42
SPEAKER_04: Basically, like they're not really getting anywhere with him.
16:45
SPEAKER_04: So I guess that's why Sophie decided maybe she she's gonna have to do it.
16:50
SPEAKER_01: Wait, didn't they want Emma to talk?
16:52
SPEAKER_01: So that's why maybe like the person who did the killer may come forward.
16:58
SPEAKER_01: Yes, you're right.
16:59
SPEAKER_04: Pia accuses him of wanting her to do it to flush the killer out.
17:03
SPEAKER_04: You're right.
17:04
SPEAKER_01: Yeah, like they're like, why aren't you trying to stop Emma?
17:06
SPEAKER_01: And they were saying because they think they could flush the killer out.
17:11
SPEAKER_04: So then Dakota, the editor, removes Ben from the story and he's pissy, but undeterred, Ben is like, fuck you, bitch.
17:20
SPEAKER_04: I'm gonna continue to search and do my job.
17:23
SPEAKER_04: So he continues to search for Nick's dating profiles and finds another persona that he used, Jeremy Wilkerson.
17:31
SPEAKER_04: His boyfriend comes up with a plan and he's like, Oh, you know, yes, his boyfriend, like this is how they found out in the first place.
17:40
SPEAKER_01: His boyfriend was like, Oh, like I like you could just like pay somebody like a hundred dollars, like three.
17:46
SPEAKER_01: I know, and then like this was the thing.
17:49
SPEAKER_01: They were like, This is how like social media works, or like some shit, like or like marketing companies have to get like everybody's phone.
17:54
SPEAKER_01: It was true, though, telemarketers and stuff.
17:56
SPEAKER_01: You could pay like a third-party service that like collects cookies and bullshit, like all that stuff that I don't know what I'm talking about.
18:03
SPEAKER_01: You could pay them like a hundred dollars, and then they send you like a thousand random names of people.
18:07
SPEAKER_01: And so he basically paid a third party who had access to that specific app or dating apps that they think was using for them to send them data.
18:17
SPEAKER_01: Dating profiles, but specifically like the people's names, their phone numbers, their locations, like your emails, like IP addresses, most likely, like anything, all in like a spreadsheet.
18:29
SPEAKER_01: Right.
18:29
SPEAKER_01: So they get this, and they know that he has that uh pseudonym that he's using.
18:33
SPEAKER_01: So they after they like get this information retreat, because Cam did all the legwork, honestly.
18:39
SPEAKER_01: And what a guy.
18:41
SPEAKER_01: Well, like everybody needs a camera.
18:43
SPEAKER_01: So um like Cam, like I don't know, like command apps it.
18:49
SPEAKER_01: He goes to like find the name, he types it in, they find his name.
18:52
SPEAKER_01: They they find it, um, like pseudonym nice things.
18:56
SPEAKER_01: So that's how they're able to see.
18:58
SPEAKER_01: Oh, and then here's the weird part, which I think was fabrication on the show.
19:02
SPEAKER_01: I don't think you could do this in real life, but I but again, I don't know tech stuff like that.
19:05
SPEAKER_01: They click on his profile on the spreadsheet, and you can see people that he's had conversations with a very valid logical point.
19:13
SPEAKER_01: Yeah, he's like, you'll know the person that like they really like enjoyed matching up with, or something that like their relationship for flourished because you'll see that that person like has more messages with Nick than other dumbass logic, right there, right?
19:27
SPEAKER_01: But they see that like his conversations with like a bunch, like maybe it's like a handful, like five or six women.
19:32
SPEAKER_01: I want to say the conversations were only like under a hundred messages, and then there's just one girl.
19:38
SPEAKER_04: Yeah, because they say Maggie Oxley.
19:41
SPEAKER_04: Oh, sorry, no, no, no, yeah.
19:42
SPEAKER_04: Maggie Oxley because they say that the the more messages, the more likely that they were in a relationship.
19:49
SPEAKER_01: Yeah, they have like thousands of messages or something, yeah, like something's really high, it's alarming.
19:55
SPEAKER_04: Yeah, and so they they use the profile, the photos from her dating profile, and they track her to a bookstore in Sacramento, and Cameron's like, road trip, like what a supportive boyfriend, yeah.
20:11
SPEAKER_04: Yeah, and like I like when um at first when he sees Ben with the profiles and he's like, You're on straight dating profiles, and he's like, Well, there's like 2,000, and he's like, Yeah, good luck with that.
20:25
SPEAKER_04: And so he offers to help, and Ben is like, What if they turn you or something?
20:30
SPEAKER_04: And he's like, uh yeah.
20:32
SPEAKER_01: They have like a really good relationship from like the little couple he banter, yeah.
20:36
SPEAKER_04: For the first 10 minutes.
20:39
SPEAKER_01: Yeah, that's the thing.
20:40
SPEAKER_01: Like, it seems like it seems like Cav's not a hundred percent on like Ben's career choices, but loves him anyway.
20:47
SPEAKER_01: And Cav just seems like super, super supportive.
20:49
SPEAKER_01: They both seem like they get along really well, they're living together, everything seems okay between them.
20:55
SPEAKER_04: Right.
20:56
SPEAKER_04: Yeah, it does.
20:57
SPEAKER_01: It really seems like okay, it feels like good to see like honestly, it feels good to see a healthy relationship in the show.
21:04
SPEAKER_04: Yeah, exactly.
21:04
SPEAKER_04: Exactly.
21:05
SPEAKER_04: I mean, they were just supportive of each other, they're helping each other, and nothing about their interactions seemed strained, at least not in the in the first half.
21:15
SPEAKER_01: Um so they take this road trip, it's like a six-hour drive or something.
21:19
SPEAKER_01: Like it's it's it's steep.
21:22
SPEAKER_04: Yeah.
21:23
SPEAKER_01: And they drive this to go to a bookstore because when they find the pro like the conversations between Maggie and Nick, or whatever name he's using, there's one profile picture for her, and in the background, there is a painting behind her with books, and they're like, Oh, it's a bookstore, and they know the location in San Francisco.
21:42
SPEAKER_01: So they go to search for like bookstores in San Francisco, there's only like 10, and then they go to Google search what the inside looks like until they find the picture that matches up and they think they found the store.
21:53
SPEAKER_01: So they're driving to San Francisco to go to this one tiny ass little local ass bookstore to ask if they know a Meggy.
22:00
SPEAKER_01: Maggie, Maggie, what am I saying?
22:01
SPEAKER_01: Maggie, Maggie Oxley.
22:02
SPEAKER_01: Like, how crazy is that?
22:03
SPEAKER_01: I thought they're just gonna get in the car and drive on.
22:05
SPEAKER_04: Yeah, so wait, so but then they show up at the bookstore and he's like talking to the gentleman.
22:12
SPEAKER_04: And it's so funny because the gentleman looks just like my kid's pediatrician.
22:16
SPEAKER_04: And my one of my daughters was watching it, and I was like, look, doesn't he look like you know the the the doctor?
22:22
SPEAKER_04: And she's like, Well, it kind of sounds like him too.
22:26
SPEAKER_04: Maybe he moonlights, but yeah, and then they're like, Oh, we're here to see Maggie Oxley, she's an old friend, and the guy's like, sure, I'll get her.
22:35
SPEAKER_04: And he's like talking about a cat.
22:38
SPEAKER_04: He's like, It's our mascot.
22:41
SPEAKER_01: Yeah, and so they're just baffled because I guess they didn't assume that like she would use a fake name because I didn't use a fake name on the profile, right?
22:50
SPEAKER_01: Maggie was a little smart.
22:51
SPEAKER_01: Well, we think it's Maggie.
22:53
SPEAKER_01: Well, smart, but anyway, they show a picture of this girl, they're like, No, this is Maggie, and Ben holds up his phone showing the profile picture from the dating profile, and he goes, Oh my god, like the old man's like, Oh my god, that's not that's that's Sarah, Sarah Burton.
23:08
SPEAKER_04: And he's like, But why are you looking for her?
23:10
SPEAKER_04: And and they're like, Oh, well, we think that she's in danger, and the guy's like, Yeah, she died four months ago.
23:18
SPEAKER_04: Yeah, now at this point, we have a woman, a dead woman who was involved with Nick.
23:25
SPEAKER_04: So Ben's alarms in his head are like ding ding ding, ring a ding, ring and ding.
23:31
SPEAKER_04: Yeah, like I'm about to crack crack this case wide open.
23:34
SPEAKER_04: And he had when he had looked at her profile, I think it was before this point where he saw a picture of her and her brother.
23:42
SPEAKER_04: Because he was like, Oh, and the brother looks sketchy, yeah.
23:45
SPEAKER_04: Right?
23:46
SPEAKER_04: It was it was like right before this, or maybe right before.
23:48
SPEAKER_01: I don't find out the brother's name though.
23:50
SPEAKER_01: Did they ask a guy in the shop?
23:51
SPEAKER_01: I'm forgetting this part.
23:53
SPEAKER_04: I don't know.
23:54
SPEAKER_04: I don't I don't think they did.
23:56
SPEAKER_04: Maybe they just forgetting how social.
24:01
SPEAKER_04: Oh, I think it was after this because I think once they learn her real name, then they can access her social media.
24:07
unknown: You're right.
24:08
SPEAKER_04: Yeah, so then that's when they learn that she has a brother, and so they go to his apartment.
24:13
SPEAKER_04: His brother's name is her brother's name is Simon.
24:16
SPEAKER_04: So they go to his apartment and he's not home.
24:18
SPEAKER_04: So Ben decides, oh, look, there's a key under the mat, I'll just let myself in.
24:24
SPEAKER_01: Which, like, what the fuck?
24:26
SPEAKER_04: Yeah, like that's pretty fucking ballsy.
24:29
SPEAKER_04: I mean that really is.
24:30
SPEAKER_01: That was a really like nerve-wracking scene for me.
24:34
SPEAKER_01: Yeah, I was so afraid for Ben, especially because as he finds what he's looking for, like, of course, it happens in every TV show where this scene happens when somebody's sneaking in.
24:48
SPEAKER_01: As he's finding what he's looking for, in a sense, like some kind of evidence leading to Sarah.
24:54
SPEAKER_04: Um Right, he finds her phone.
24:56
SPEAKER_01: Yeah, he finds like a like a memory box under the brother's bed, like he sees it through a mirror, of course.
25:01
SPEAKER_01: Like we haven't seen this type of scene before.
25:04
SPEAKER_01: And he goes in the box and he's like looking through all like the guys, like the mementos, and he sees the cell phone in like a girly case, obviously.
25:11
SPEAKER_02: Yes.
25:12
SPEAKER_01: So um, as he's like trying to figure it out, you see clips going back and forth between Ben in the apartment and Simon walking home, like entering the apartment building and like going to the elevator and walking up the stairs.
25:26
SPEAKER_04: And Cam's trying to call him and warn him.
25:29
SPEAKER_01: Because Cam's sitting in the car is like watching out.
25:32
SPEAKER_04: Right.
25:33
SPEAKER_04: And he's like, and you see the realization on his face, like, wait a minute, he's still up there, and this guy is not there.
25:42
SPEAKER_04: What the fuck is he doing up there?
25:45
unknown: Yeah.
25:46
SPEAKER_04: Before Ben could even get out of the apartment, Simon comes in.
25:50
SPEAKER_04: Luckily for us, Simon comes in, sits down, and immediately lights up his his bong, or whatever the fuck he was smoking out of.
25:58
SPEAKER_01: Yeah, but then like he's doing his little smoking routine.
26:01
SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
26:04
SPEAKER_04: And then, like, if my daughter's like, oh good, all he has to do is wait for him to get high and then he can leave.
26:11
unknown: Oh my god.
26:13
SPEAKER_04: But the idiot leaves unless the door not slam, but slam.
26:20
SPEAKER_01: I'm sorry, but wouldn't you just like leave it open and like because it's not open?
26:26
SPEAKER_01: Yeah, I wouldn't even try to close it.
26:28
SPEAKER_01: I'd just like keep it open and like sneak out and freak down the stairs.
26:32
SPEAKER_01: And like he would probably just be like, Oh, I was like in my routine.
26:35
SPEAKER_01: I guess like the door didn't close all the way and it swung back open, you know what I mean?
26:40
SPEAKER_01: I don't know.
26:41
SPEAKER_01: Ben was just being sloppy there.
26:42
SPEAKER_01: And when he closed the door and made like a click sound and Simon heard it, turned around, opened up the door, and then sort of Ben turning the corner to go down the staircase.
26:51
SPEAKER_01: I was like, come back here.
26:53
SPEAKER_01: And in that sense, when he was saying like come back here, or like what the fuck, or whatever he said in response to seeing like somebody pretty much sneak out of his apartment, um, you can almost hear like a sense of danger in his voice.
27:08
SPEAKER_01: As if he knew that something was eventually gonna happen.
27:12
SPEAKER_01: And he was eventually gonna get spoiled or something that he did.
27:16
SPEAKER_01: I already think Simon's guilty, but anyway.
27:18
SPEAKER_04: He's already what?
27:20
SPEAKER_01: I already think Simon's guilty of everything, but that's just something I'm alluding to.
27:24
SPEAKER_04: Okay.
27:25
SPEAKER_01: Anyway, Simon just seems like pretty much in his voice and his actions in the scene where he's chasing after bed now, um, he just seems like, oh shit, you know what I mean?
27:35
SPEAKER_01: Like he seems like he's gonna get caught for something.
27:37
SPEAKER_04: And so, but not for nothing though.
27:39
SPEAKER_04: He just caught somebody breaking into his apartment.
27:42
SPEAKER_04: So even if you are totally law-abiding citizen, you don't want somebody invading your space.
27:52
SPEAKER_01: Yeah, that's true.
27:54
SPEAKER_04: But still so I mean he he basically chases him out of the building, and Ben gets outside, and Cameron is standing outside the car, and Ben's like, we gotta go, get in, we gotta go.
28:05
SPEAKER_04: And Cameron's a little dumbfounded.
28:07
SPEAKER_04: He's just like, wait, what?
28:08
SPEAKER_04: He's like, No, no, no, like we gotta go right now.
28:10
SPEAKER_04: Like, we gotta go.
28:11
SPEAKER_04: Let's go, let's go.
28:13
SPEAKER_01: Yeah, Ben like ran down the stairs and he took the elevator.
28:16
SPEAKER_01: So Ben was like a few seconds before, and like Cameron's just standing outside the car, like, how'd you do, honey?
28:21
SPEAKER_01: And Ben's like, get in the fucking car, get us down.
28:23
SPEAKER_01: And so as they're driving away, um, Simon's like coming out of the building, running after them, banging on the side of the car, and like screaming, Cam's just like in the zone where he's just like he's like deer in headlights, just like his body's moving, but his brain's not functioning, and he's driving the car, getting away.
28:42
SPEAKER_01: And now Ben's like all that um adrenaline is like washing over him, and he just has the giggles now.
28:48
SPEAKER_01: He's like, Oh my god, like I can't live.
28:50
SPEAKER_04: Yeah, he's so excited about what he just did.
28:53
SPEAKER_01: And the camera pans over to Cameron and he is pissed with the capital, you know.
28:58
SPEAKER_01: I mean, like he is angky, and so um Ben's just like what the fuck?
29:05
SPEAKER_01: But Cam's like, what the fuck?
29:07
SPEAKER_01: And so um this is where you start seeing their relationship fall.
29:11
SPEAKER_04: Yeah, when they get back to Oakland, Cameron is like he he parks the car, he pulls up in front of the building, and he doesn't get out, and Ben is like, wait, what?
29:23
SPEAKER_04: And he's like, Yeah, bye.
29:26
SPEAKER_04: I'm gonna crash at my parents' house.
29:28
SPEAKER_04: Yeah, he doesn't even like want to be there.
29:31
SPEAKER_01: So and then Ben's not even really upset.
29:36
SPEAKER_01: He's just still on his high almost from this case.
29:40
SPEAKER_01: Yeah, Ben's still on his high, and like he's just not he's not even bothered by how upset Cam is, which is really sad that Ben's letting this case really take over his life.
29:51
SPEAKER_01: And Ben just really made it show that like work was more important to him than his relationship.
29:57
SPEAKER_04: And he and he texts Cameron, I love you, good night, and then you see the little dots, like if he was gonna respond, and then it goes away.
30:08
unknown: Yeah.
30:09
SPEAKER_01: And I'm like, and you would think that he'd be more upset, but he wasn't, like you said, it just yeah, and it's not even that like he valued, like I don't want to say like he should have valued his relationship over his career, because I don't wanna say that because you like your career is really important.
30:54
SPEAKER_01: You shouldn't have to always put your career on the line.
30:57
SPEAKER_01: I mean your relationship on the line for things, especially things like your career.
31:00
SPEAKER_01: But it was the fact that he was making really like poor moral choices for his career, and he was choosing those over his relationship, and he was willing to put the person he loves at risk.
31:11
SPEAKER_04: That's right, right, and so um he gets into Sarah's phone and he discovers that Nick was ignoring her and eventually basically goading her to commit suicide after after she threatened to do so.
31:27
SPEAKER_04: Yeah, so now he goes and brings that information to Dakota and says that he wants to be Sophie's interviewer, or he'll bring the information to another network.
31:40
SPEAKER_04: So basically now he's like blackmailing his boss.
31:44
SPEAKER_04: Blackmailing?
31:45
SPEAKER_04: Extorting?
31:47
SPEAKER_04: Yeah, what's the difference between blackmail and extortion?
31:50
SPEAKER_01: Couldn't tell me, but one sounds better than the other.
31:52
unknown: Okay.
31:53
SPEAKER_01: Well, he's doing one of them, so well, because Dakota like gave away this whole story to like Ben's competitor.
32:02
SPEAKER_04: Well, in fairness, Ben's competitor.
32:05
SPEAKER_04: Yeah, but he broke into, I mean he tresp he didn't break in, he trespassed in Sophie's house.
32:11
SPEAKER_04: So she made the right call.
32:12
SPEAKER_04: Like Sophie was ready to sue them.
32:14
SPEAKER_04: How could he put how could she realistically put him on the story?
32:20
SPEAKER_01: Oh Ben broke the case in the beginning and she was looking to put that other girl like on the case instead of or on the story instead of him.
32:30
SPEAKER_01: He he was doing a lot of the legwork and she was giving all Ben's research to the other reporter.
32:36
SPEAKER_04: Janine.
32:37
SPEAKER_01: Yeah, it wasn't it really wasn't fair.
32:40
SPEAKER_01: I remember watching it and not thinking, well, like Ben's a shitty person, this is why he didn't get it, because he like trespassed.
32:45
SPEAKER_04: Right.
32:46
SPEAKER_01: Um, there was like another reason, like it was like an unfair reason, and it definitely wasn't because somebody was working there long here, it was more like favoritism.
32:54
SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
32:55
SPEAKER_01: Um but it does make sense to why he got kicked off because he trespassed.
33:00
SPEAKER_01: So this is Ben's story now.
33:02
SPEAKER_04: Yeah.
33:03
SPEAKER_01: As he's in his interview with so he does something really fucking shitty.
33:07
SPEAKER_04: Yeah, he fucking ambushes her.
33:10
SPEAKER_04: And he asks her about Nick's involvement with Sarah's death.
33:15
SPEAKER_01: As if like she knows who the fuck Sarah is.
33:17
SPEAKER_01: She just found out about Adam.
33:18
SPEAKER_04: And she and he not only that, but then he hands her a transcript and is like, can you read it?
33:24
unknown: Yeah.
33:24
SPEAKER_04: I mean, that that's fucking callous, and I don't know.
33:29
SPEAKER_04: That that's a lot.
33:30
SPEAKER_04: Like, even for that's a kind of like shock.
33:36
SPEAKER_04: Yeah.
33:37
unknown: Yeah.
33:38
SPEAKER_04: So Sophie storms off, you know.
33:41
SPEAKER_04: She was she's like, I'm done, that's it.
33:44
SPEAKER_04: And then when he gets back to his apartment, he finds that Cameron's there waiting for him, and he pleads with him to be more empathetic towards others.
33:53
SPEAKER_04: He's like, you know, that he cares about him, but he doesn't like basically who he's becoming.
34:00
SPEAKER_04: And even in the car, he told him it's not what you did, it's your reaction to what you did.
34:06
SPEAKER_04: You know, so it's he sees that this is uh, I guess, uh causing a change in him, but then Ben is like, no, and so realizing that he's not gonna change, Cameron leaves him.
34:21
unknown: Yeah.
34:22
SPEAKER_04: Then in the end of the episode, Sophie's interview is being aired.
34:29
SPEAKER_01: Because they were gonna do like the way that Pia kind of convinced Sophie to do the interview, because this is how it happened.
34:38
SPEAKER_01: Um, after like Ben originally like broke into the house and was like taking pictures, like when he didn't answer the door.
34:44
SPEAKER_01: Um, Pia's like, I know you hate this guy for just breaking into your house and like being like a jerk, but at the same time he's right.
34:52
SPEAKER_01: And like Pia really convinced Sophie to like take the bull by the horns and do this to get her story out before Emma's interviews and go up.
35:00
SPEAKER_01: And so one of the stipulations was we'll have like a watch party, we'll like make light out of this whole thing.
35:07
SPEAKER_04: She's like, I'll even keep my mom in check.
35:10
SPEAKER_01: Yeah, and so now they're all gathered around the TV as this interview that Sophie just had is playing, and she knows what's about to happen, she knows that her kids are gonna end up seeing it anyway, because I think she was like, I don't want to watch it.
35:23
SPEAKER_01: And Ethan and um what's the younger son's name?
35:26
SPEAKER_01: It's interesting.
35:27
SPEAKER_01: Kai?
35:28
SPEAKER_01: Yeah, they're like, we're just gonna go online watch it.
35:30
SPEAKER_01: Yeah, like what are we watching?
35:31
SPEAKER_01: Or we watch it on her own.
35:32
SPEAKER_01: Exactly.
35:33
SPEAKER_01: And so like Sophie realizes she has to do the inevitable and she has to sit there with her whole family that's left and watch this shit hit the fan.
35:43
SPEAKER_02: Exactly.
35:43
SPEAKER_01: And she like sits there with like her head in her hands as they're playing this, and on like during the interview after she storms off, the way that Ben closes the interview is by doing like um uh what's that called?
35:56
SPEAKER_01: I'm just gonna call reanimation.
35:59
SPEAKER_04: Oh I was gonna say um an actor, an actor portrayal of the like basically reading the text messages.
36:08
SPEAKER_04: Sorry.
36:10
SPEAKER_04: That's why it came at me again.
36:15
SPEAKER_04: Yeah, I thought it would have died, but no.
36:18
SPEAKER_01: But yeah, so this is when we really find out like what happened in our conversation, right?
36:24
SPEAKER_04: So they do like the actor, basically they have actors reading the transcripts between Sarah and Nick, where he's like, she's like, Well, I'm gonna commit suicide, and he's like, I don't care.
36:36
SPEAKER_01: So but they really preface it in like a way that paints Sarah's character for us super quick, which I love.
36:43
SPEAKER_01: So Ben does Sarah's character what they like paint the picture for Sarah's character really quick, which is like a really nice way that the show wrapped this up.
36:54
SPEAKER_01: I like how they did this.
36:56
SPEAKER_01: Like Ben, as he's recording, is like to introduce who Sarah is to like the viewers and to us, says like Sarah grew up in foster homes until she aged out with her brother and she had like really rough life, and she confided with Nick about like a lot of the traumas that she was going through.
37:10
SPEAKER_01: Like she must have had some kind of um like trauma that was affecting her mentally from her upbringing, and so she was confiding in Nick and she felt vulnerable with him in that way, and he took that to his advantage when answering her.
37:26
SPEAKER_01: Like he was being almost abusive because he was being ignorant to her emotional turmoil as he was in this relationship of era talking to her, and so like he was like, I'm not free therapy in the text messages because she was talking about something she I'm at your crisis hotline or something like that.
37:47
SPEAKER_01: Yeah, and she's like, I'm gonna do that thing that I said I would do if you don't stop this, and he's like, Do it, I don't care.
37:52
SPEAKER_01: And she's like, Fine, I'm gonna kill myself.
37:54
SPEAKER_01: And he's like, Go ahead.
37:56
SPEAKER_04: I might be in the minority, right?
37:58
SPEAKER_04: But like, if someone threatens suicide, if you care about that person, you should help them.
38:03
SPEAKER_04: I mean, you should report it, you should help them.
38:06
SPEAKER_04: However, however, on the other hand, like she's a full-grown ass adult.
38:14
SPEAKER_04: And and and he at some point, like, how do we hold other people responsible for the for the decisions that we make?
38:23
SPEAKER_04: And I'm not saying that he's absolved, right?
38:26
SPEAKER_04: Um, but I'm saying that while he could have helped, is he legally responsible?
38:33
SPEAKER_04: Is he morally responsible?
38:35
SPEAKER_04: I mean, she's threatening him, she's like blackmailing him, like, oh, if you leave me, I'll kill myself.
38:42
SPEAKER_01: But yeah, but at the same time, maybe it's we can dick, but he caused it.
38:48
SPEAKER_04: But right, but did he cause it and is it actually his fault?
38:52
SPEAKER_04: I mean, at what point do we take responsibility for our own actions?
38:56
SPEAKER_04: Like, you can't just threaten to kill yourself when things don't go your way.
39:02
SPEAKER_04: I mean I don't know.
39:06
SPEAKER_04: That that part bothered me.
39:08
SPEAKER_04: Well, I think morally, if you know that somebody is talking about it and threatening it, I think that you're you're morally obligated to at least alert somebody and get help for them.
39:23
SPEAKER_04: Do you have to be their crisis hotline?
39:25
unknown: No.
39:26
SPEAKER_04: But at the same time, realistically, what's he supposed to do?
39:31
SPEAKER_04: Every time she threatens, he's like, Okay, you're right, I'll stay with you forever.
39:36
SPEAKER_04: I don't know.
39:36
SPEAKER_01: Yeah, I mean, like, look, if I was in that situation and somebody was saying that to me, I would say whatever I need to say to them over text to get them like to calm down, and then I would immediately report that shit.
39:48
SPEAKER_01: And be like, uh, I have valid reason for you to waste your time, police station, law officials, you know what I mean?
39:56
SPEAKER_01: And so, and but like the law follows that they don't say like, oh well, we need somebody to kill themselves first, you know, you know, like when like you feel like you're in danger and like yeah, yeah, like when like you go to report stalking to the police and they're like, Well, we can't do something.
40:11
SPEAKER_04: Yeah, we can't do anything if somebody kills you.
40:14
SPEAKER_04: Gee thanks.
40:15
SPEAKER_01: Like, I understand, but she thinks, right?
40:18
SPEAKER_01: Like, anyway, that's that's valid cause.
40:23
SPEAKER_04: Especially if it's on text message, it's really easy to prove.
40:27
SPEAKER_01: Nick's so sly, honestly, at this point, that he could have gotten away with reporting it without his wife finding out that he was in a relationship with somebody in a different city, you know what I mean?
40:41
SPEAKER_01: Because he's still trying to hide the fact that he's like doing this shit, even though he's doing it after the fact of no Sophie cheating on him.
40:48
SPEAKER_01: I don't know.
40:50
SPEAKER_04: Yeah.
40:51
SPEAKER_04: But that shit's fucking annoying, but after after all that, right?
40:57
SPEAKER_04: And then at the end of the episode, we pan to the episode pans to Simon in his apartment watching the episode.
41:07
SPEAKER_01: Like the interview, yeah.
41:08
SPEAKER_04: The interview, sorry, thank you.
41:10
SPEAKER_04: First of all, do you think that he recognized Ben as the person who broke into his house?
41:15
SPEAKER_01: He had to go because he got a really good look at his face when he was in the car.
41:20
SPEAKER_04: And not only that, but then how would he other otherwise how would he have access to all those messages and all of that sensitive information?
41:30
SPEAKER_04: So I think Simon has to know that that was who it is.
41:37
SPEAKER_01: I think the fact that, and I'm I'm looking ahead just a tiny little bit, I think the fact that this next episode is called The Brother means that he and even saying this without knowing it, but I'm just saying this is supporting what I'm saying, he has such like an important role in this series that I lost my train of thought, I'm sorry.
42:01
SPEAKER_01: Um that his like he had to know that something was gonna come about eventually, that somebody was gonna ask him a question or he was gonna get infiltrated somewhere.
42:13
SPEAKER_04: Who the brother, you mean?
42:15
SPEAKER_01: Yeah, okay.
42:16
SPEAKER_01: He come on, like he couldn't like I really okay.
42:19
SPEAKER_01: I believe that the brother has something to do with Nick and murder.
42:22
SPEAKER_01: I'm not saying he goes, I'm saying he has something to do with it, and he had to have known that something had come about.
42:29
SPEAKER_01: He had to have known why Sarah killed herself.
42:31
SPEAKER_01: That's his fucking sister.
42:33
SPEAKER_04: Right.
42:33
SPEAKER_04: He has because now, right, because now that this is where it's all pointing to, right?
42:37
SPEAKER_04: Is Nick abused women, Nick killed women or killed a woman.
42:43
unknown: Yeah.
42:43
SPEAKER_04: Now we see somebody who we found evidence that he was in a relationship with and basically dead because of him, and so it's it's perfectly natural to be like, oh, of course our brother has something to do with it, you know.
43:02
SPEAKER_04: I mean, what kind of sibling wouldn't want to stick up for you, or you know?
43:11
SPEAKER_04: I just or does he?
43:13
SPEAKER_04: Or is he, or was he, or did he?
43:15
SPEAKER_04: I don't know.
43:17
SPEAKER_01: I'm just thinking about the fact that it's Nick.
43:20
SPEAKER_01: Did he know that Sarah killed herself?
43:22
SPEAKER_01: He had to have.
43:23
SPEAKER_02: Are you asking about it?
43:24
SPEAKER_01: Why did he know?
43:25
SPEAKER_01: No, like I'm just kind of saying it rhetorically.
43:28
SPEAKER_01: Like, did Nick know that Sarah killed herself?
43:32
SPEAKER_01: Because he was still they were in a relationship, apparently.
43:36
SPEAKER_01: So, um if they were still in a relationship, that means that he didn't start his relationship with he did, he was in a relationship with Emma because this happened four months ago, and Emma and Nick were going up for six months.
43:52
SPEAKER_01: Shit.
43:54
SPEAKER_01: So he was doing the shit two months into dating.
43:58
SPEAKER_01: Emma.
43:58
SPEAKER_01: Oh, poor Emma.
44:00
SPEAKER_01: Okay, Emma.
44:02
SPEAKER_01: Keeping her whole shit down.
44:05
SPEAKER_01: I like her a lot.
44:06
SPEAKER_01: I don't feel I feel like people shit on her.
44:09
SPEAKER_01: She's an alright person.
44:10
SPEAKER_01: Although she got a little big for approaches last episode, but you know, that's okay.
44:16
SPEAKER_01: But but as for Nick, holy shit.
44:22
SPEAKER_01: I wonder if next episode they're gonna throw somebody else in.
44:25
SPEAKER_01: And be like, oh, and Victoria?
44:27
SPEAKER_01: Look at the shitty thing to Victoria.
44:30
SPEAKER_01: She's in pieces around the city.
44:32
SPEAKER_04: Oh my god.
44:32
SPEAKER_04: Look, we found her pinky toe.
44:36
SPEAKER_00: Right?
44:37
SPEAKER_00: It was in like Nexosophagus.
44:40
SPEAKER_00: Shit like that.
44:41
SPEAKER_04: Oh my god.
44:42
SPEAKER_04: Did you watch you on Netflix?
44:46
SPEAKER_01: I don't want to watch you, but I know something happens like that.
44:49
SPEAKER_04: Okay.
44:49
SPEAKER_04: All right.
44:50
SPEAKER_04: Then I won't say that.
44:50
SPEAKER_01: Season three, right?
44:52
SPEAKER_04: The last season, yeah.
44:53
SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
44:54
SPEAKER_04: So the most current season.
44:56
SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
44:56
SPEAKER_01: My parents watched the show, but more importantly, my sister watches the show.
45:00
SPEAKER_01: And I she like convinced my parents to watch the show.
45:04
SPEAKER_01: And I heard all of their reactions.
45:06
SPEAKER_01: Cameron's like, that's my sister.
45:08
SPEAKER_01: Her, which is like the name of the character in the show.
45:11
SPEAKER_01: That's kind of hard.
45:11
SPEAKER_01: But like Cam's um second reaction to that scene, and then my parents' first reaction to that scene, and I don't want to watch it.
45:18
SPEAKER_01: I'm okay.
45:20
SPEAKER_02: I'm good.
45:21
SPEAKER_01: Yeah, I don't want to watch that.
45:24
SPEAKER_01: I feel like that's too thrillery for me.
45:27
SPEAKER_01: Like this is like a good mystery.
45:29
SPEAKER_04: Yeah, you don't like this.
45:31
SPEAKER_01: I'm not.
45:32
SPEAKER_01: I'm more of like, I'll watch paranormal movies, but anything too like gory or thrillery, I'm not cute.
45:42
SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
45:43
SPEAKER_01: I'm okay.
45:44
SPEAKER_01: Too real.
45:44
SPEAKER_01: Dreams get too real nightmares become too real after that.
45:48
SPEAKER_01: And then the anxiety thoughts come in when I'm like downstairs alone in the dark, and I'm like, broken.
45:55
SPEAKER_01: Cut off my panky too.
45:56
SPEAKER_04: Out of the fun.
45:58
SPEAKER_01: No, I don't like that.
46:01
SPEAKER_00: Oh my god.
46:04
SPEAKER_01: But yeah.
46:05
SPEAKER_01: So that's what I mean.
46:06
SPEAKER_01: Like, I wonder if there was somebody else.
46:08
SPEAKER_04: Nick was also like well, they said that he had multiple dating apps.
46:15
SPEAKER_04: So like we heard about Emma, we heard about um Sarah.
46:22
SPEAKER_04: There was the the other one, I think her name was Mandy with the painting.
46:26
SPEAKER_01: Yeah, the artist.
46:27
SPEAKER_04: But then there was one that we were like unknown.
46:30
SPEAKER_04: They did wait, did they say her location?
46:32
SPEAKER_01: It was in LA too, right?
46:34
SPEAKER_01: Or did they not say her location?
46:38
SPEAKER_01: Because maybe this unknown one was Sarah.
46:41
SPEAKER_04: But they said he had a lot of different profiles.
46:45
SPEAKER_04: So I mean, who knows, right?
46:47
SPEAKER_04: Who knows like how many we're gonna see or how deep this goes.
46:55
SPEAKER_01: Yeah, you're right.
46:57
SPEAKER_01: I'm really curious what this next episode's gonna be.
46:59
SPEAKER_01: Right.
47:00
SPEAKER_04: We know well, I already said like episode next episode we might find another woman.
47:05
SPEAKER_01: Yeah, episode six, which is our next episode, is called The Brother.
47:09
SPEAKER_01: The brother which is so clearly about Simon, Sarah's brother.
47:14
SPEAKER_04: Or is it what if it's his what if it's his brother?
47:19
SPEAKER_01: What if doesn't have a brother?
47:21
SPEAKER_04: But how do you know?
47:22
SPEAKER_01: Maybe it is maybe that's why so by now.
47:26
SPEAKER_04: Maybe that's why the episode is called The Brother, because voila, you're gonna find out that he has a No, I'm just kidding.
47:32
SPEAKER_01: Yeah, my idea would have been like me, Nick, and maybe it's Sophie's brother.
47:37
SPEAKER_01: She doesn't have one, does she?
47:41
SPEAKER_04: See?
47:42
SPEAKER_04: You don't know.
47:44
SPEAKER_01: I don't know.
47:45
SPEAKER_01: I mean the fact that Simon was like in the the like the thumbnail.
47:49
SPEAKER_01: No, yeah.
47:50
SPEAKER_04: It's about Simon.
47:52
SPEAKER_00: Thanks, Lisa.
47:54
SPEAKER_04: Um, yeah, I'm really I mean, especially when they end the episode on Simon and then the next one is called The Brother.
48:01
SPEAKER_01: So like Yeah, and you know what I really like about this is that at the end of every episode, and like every episode of the show, and every episode of our show, I'm like, I really hope the episode picks up where it drops off.
48:13
SPEAKER_01: And they they do that.
48:14
SPEAKER_04: They do.
48:14
SPEAKER_04: I like that a lot.
48:15
SPEAKER_01: Yeah, I like that a lot.
48:16
SPEAKER_01: It like if I were to binge this whole series in one day, which you really could.
48:20
SPEAKER_04: You really could.
48:21
SPEAKER_04: I did.
48:21
SPEAKER_01: I mean I it would just be like a big movie, right?
48:26
SPEAKER_04: Yeah, like a nice eight-hour movie.
48:28
unknown: Yeah.
48:29
SPEAKER_01: You know.
48:30
SPEAKER_01: So yeah.
48:31
SPEAKER_01: But I mean, I I like when a show stops and then starts from where it stopped in the last episode.
48:39
SPEAKER_04: So we're getting we're getting pretty close to the end of the series.
48:42
SPEAKER_04: So we're more than halfway there now.
48:45
SPEAKER_04: We are so three episodes left.
48:48
SPEAKER_04: Do you care to revise any of your previous thoughts or theories to revise or anything?
48:58
SPEAKER_01: I would say that I think science Simon is clearly involved.
49:04
SPEAKER_01: I think Matt is somehow involved.
49:07
SPEAKER_01: I think that maybe Matt and Simon were on board with this.
49:11
SPEAKER_01: I think that he is clear.
49:13
SPEAKER_01: I think that detective Amiri's clear.
49:16
SPEAKER_01: I think that Amiri's partner, the Lord not partner, his boss or whatever, the woman with the bald hair, um, bald hair.
49:23
SPEAKER_01: What the fuck, Brittany?
49:25
SPEAKER_01: Um, I don't like him.
49:26
SPEAKER_01: I just want to make it clear.
49:27
SPEAKER_01: I don't like that guy.
49:28
SPEAKER_01: But I don't think he's involved.
49:30
SPEAKER_01: I just don't like him.
49:31
SPEAKER_01: I also think that did I say he is clear?
49:33
SPEAKER_01: I think Sophie's clear.
49:35
SPEAKER_01: I think that it's still not revealed to us so far that um that person that Ethan was talking to on the internet, like he was like messaging that.
49:46
SPEAKER_04: Oh, right, because we haven't seen that person for a while.
49:50
SPEAKER_01: Yeah, not for like two episodes, and that's a while in the show.
49:54
SPEAKER_01: I wonder if they're gonna come back, but I feel like maybe that was Simon the whole time.
49:59
SPEAKER_01: I feel like it could have been.
50:01
SPEAKER_01: I don't know why 2005 is relevant, but that was the last four numbers.
50:05
SPEAKER_01: I don't know, maybe I don't know, like maybe 520 is a relevant date.
50:12
SPEAKER_01: Like May 20th is relevant, so like 2005, so 2005, um, flipped.
50:18
SPEAKER_01: Like, you know how sometimes like in different countries they do like date month year instead of month date year like us.
50:23
SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
50:24
SPEAKER_01: So maybe like that's what just like those numbers mean instead of the year 2005, which I'm assuming that's when Ethan was born because like the years check out.
50:32
SPEAKER_02: Right.
50:32
SPEAKER_01: Yeah, someone who's born in 2005 is like 16 now, right?
50:37
SPEAKER_01: 17?
50:38
SPEAKER_01: Yeah, they're about that age, right?
50:41
SPEAKER_01: Yeah, 16.
50:42
SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
50:43
SPEAKER_01: So um he seems about 16.
50:45
SPEAKER_01: So yeah, it would check out someone he was in school with would have like a username that would say like 2005 at the end, just like how when we made usernames and like emails and bullshit, we do that too.
50:59
SPEAKER_01: So with our like year of birth.
51:01
SPEAKER_01: So I don't know, whatever.
51:04
SPEAKER_01: I think maybe that's why they did 2005 to make us think it's like one of Ethan peers.
51:09
SPEAKER_01: But meanwhile, what if it was Vincent?
51:11
SPEAKER_01: Vincent's in high school.
51:13
SPEAKER_01: I can't speak because I'm flemming.
51:15
SPEAKER_01: Vincent's in high school.
51:18
SPEAKER_01: Was that Vincent talking to him?
51:19
SPEAKER_01: Do Vincent and Ethan know each other?
51:22
SPEAKER_01: Their paths haven't crossed yet.
51:24
SPEAKER_01: The only connection they have is Pia, but I feel like it would have came up in conversation because like Vincent's I feel like a part of Vincent's personality is the fact that he goes to chemotherapy.
51:34
SPEAKER_01: It has to be like a big part of his life or dialysis, not chemotherapy.
51:39
SPEAKER_01: That has to be some kind of part of the kid's life.
51:41
SPEAKER_01: And so anybody who's close with him would have to know that like he goes there.
51:45
SPEAKER_01: And then Ethan, like as a close friend of him who's messaging him online, would be like, hey, like my aunt works there, you know, POC?
51:53
SPEAKER_01: And he'd be like, Yeah, I know POC, she's my girl.
51:56
SPEAKER_01: Right?
51:56
SPEAKER_01: We look at fucking dumb YouTube videos together, like while I'm being injected with my chemicals or treatment.
52:04
SPEAKER_01: So I don't know.
52:06
SPEAKER_01: It would make sense.
52:09
SPEAKER_01: It would make sense because we already know that character.
52:12
SPEAKER_01: We're really late in the episode to like keep introducing not episode, we're really late in the series for them to keep throwing new characters at us.
52:18
SPEAKER_01: Yeah, I don't know.
52:19
SPEAKER_01: We have three hours left of clickbait to watch, really.
52:23
SPEAKER_01: Anything can happen in three hours.
52:24
SPEAKER_04: Do you want me to give you um a spoiler not spoiler?
52:29
SPEAKER_01: Is it okay if you give a spoiler not spoiler?
52:32
SPEAKER_04: Well, it's like I'll tell you something without telling you something.
52:37
unknown: Okay.
52:38
SPEAKER_04: You have already met the person or persons responsible for the murder?
52:47
SPEAKER_01: Okay.
52:49
SPEAKER_01: Have we already met who's behind that username?
52:52
SPEAKER_04: I am not telling you.
52:54
SPEAKER_01: Okay.
52:55
SPEAKER_04: I'm not giving you all these details.
52:57
SPEAKER_04: I'm just saying that we've already been introduced to the person or persons responsible.
53:05
SPEAKER_01: Okay.
53:06
SPEAKER_01: So I feel like it couldn't have been a one-man job.
53:09
SPEAKER_01: And if it was, that one-man's organized.
53:11
SPEAKER_04: Well, I'm just that I'm just trying to keep it, you know, like vague enough.
53:18
SPEAKER_04: Yeah, I think not really like given a job.
53:21
SPEAKER_01: Before I think this episode, yeah, before this episode, I think I had, I don't know if I mentioned it, but I think I have a thought that maybe maybe an upcoming reporter who had ties to this, like, committed this crime.
53:37
SPEAKER_01: Or no, I think I was thinking this about Amiri at first.
53:40
SPEAKER_01: Like that he committed this crime and really covered it up, so that's why he could work on this crime and really like move up in their career.
53:48
SPEAKER_01: It could go that same way with the reporter.
53:50
SPEAKER_01: So I've got my point now.
53:53
SPEAKER_01: I got them like COVID brain.
53:56
SPEAKER_01: It's a thing.
53:58
SPEAKER_01: I I'd really have like bad brain fog.
54:01
SPEAKER_01: Like I know it'll probably get better next week, but like this week it's just kind of like it's very much here, and I'm very much aware of the fact that I'm saying things, and I completely forget what I'm saying afterwards, and I have energy almost.
54:11
SPEAKER_01: This meet every day.
54:12
SPEAKER_04: Oh my god.
54:14
SPEAKER_01: It's like really, really bad today, though.
54:17
SPEAKER_04: But well, and it's late.
54:19
SPEAKER_04: We're we're here recording, and it's pretty late, so that's true.
54:23
SPEAKER_01: Anyway, being that I went on the tandem and this is our second episode that we're recording tonight.
54:30
SPEAKER_01: Yeah, we did our um Patreon episode first.
54:34
SPEAKER_04: The doll.
54:35
SPEAKER_04: Just to reiterate, the doll.
54:39
SPEAKER_04: And it's live.
54:41
SPEAKER_04: Go check it out.
54:43
SPEAKER_04: And in that episode, we also introduce what the next bonus episode is gonna be.
54:48
SPEAKER_04: So if you want to know, if you want to hear, if you just care to support us and help us out, please become a Patreon member, and you will have access.
55:00
SPEAKER_01: Uh yeah, so I think in our next that's it, like that's all I'm thinking.
55:05
SPEAKER_01: I think I got all my thoughts out.
55:07
SPEAKER_04: Okay.
55:08
SPEAKER_04: I think um, side note in a not not um well, I can't fucking talk, but um I think that maybe you were right when you were saying that maybe we should go over the the Patreon tiers.
55:25
SPEAKER_04: Oh, okay.
55:26
SPEAKER_04: I think that maybe we should.
55:28
SPEAKER_04: So yeah, like right before we wrap up this episode, I can I can read.
55:33
SPEAKER_04: As far as this episode goes, I mean I enjoyed it.
55:37
SPEAKER_04: It was a little weird at first, right?
55:38
SPEAKER_04: Because you're like the reporter, what the fuck does he have to do with anything?
55:42
SPEAKER_04: But he does truly introduce new material.
55:48
SPEAKER_01: Yeah, I think I asked you at the end of the last episode that if you were to take any episode out of the series, would you take this one out, or is it important to the series?
56:00
SPEAKER_01: And you're like, the character's not so important?
56:03
SPEAKER_01: I think you said that the character's not as important as what they discover.
56:08
SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
56:09
SPEAKER_01: And I I I really feel like that's true, at least right now, because I don't know if then it's gonna like resurface in the next three episodes, but what he did uncover was so crucial to the storyline.
56:20
SPEAKER_04: Right.
56:21
SPEAKER_01: And I'm really, really excited to see how this unfolds.
56:24
SPEAKER_01: After our last episode recording, I watched this episode.
56:28
SPEAKER_01: Like immediately after we hung up.
56:29
SPEAKER_01: I think I like quickly did all my chores, took a shower, got mad, watched this episode.
56:33
SPEAKER_01: And then I think I texted you right after, and I was like, we have to record ASAP because I need to watch the episode after this.
56:39
SPEAKER_01: I have to watch episode six.
56:41
SPEAKER_01: You don't understand how fucking hype I am that I get to go lay down and watch this episode.
56:46
SPEAKER_01: I am so excited.
56:48
SPEAKER_01: I'm not gonna get any sleep.
56:50
SPEAKER_01: I'm gonna go to work tomorrow super sleep deprived, but I will have more blame it on COVID.
56:56
SPEAKER_01: Yeah, right.
56:57
SPEAKER_01: I'll just be like it's the COVID again, it's not Ben and Nick.
57:01
SPEAKER_01: That doesn't sound right.
57:05
SPEAKER_04: Oh my god.
57:06
SPEAKER_04: Well, it's not it's not Sophie and Sia Pia.
57:08
SPEAKER_04: Yeah, Pia Sia.
57:10
SPEAKER_01: Yeah, they'll be like, Brett, yeah, okay.
57:13
SPEAKER_01: I'll be like, no.
57:15
SPEAKER_01: But anyway, I'm really excited to continue this series.
57:20
SPEAKER_01: It's funny to think that I was like so indifferent in our first episode about the series, and now I'm just like super on board.
57:30
SPEAKER_04: Uh-huh.
57:32
SPEAKER_01: You're right, like the first episode was just very introductory, and then as soon as you like get to episode two, you're on board with the story.
57:41
SPEAKER_04: Yeah.
57:42
SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
57:42
SPEAKER_01: I'm really excited to get to episode six.
57:45
SPEAKER_04: So next next episode, next time is the brother, and we will get a little bit more information.
57:55
SPEAKER_04: But uh before we wrap up, let's let's go over the Patreon stuff.
58:04
SPEAKER_04: Right now on our Patreon page, we have three tiers, and they range from one dollar a month to ten dollars a month.
58:15
SPEAKER_04: So our one dollar a month level is called a sip here and there.
58:21
SPEAKER_04: This tier is for the half-ass listener who gives too many dollars to the man but saved one every month for Sassin sips.
58:32
SPEAKER_04: Now, if you join on this tier, this one dollar tier, here's what you get.
58:37
SPEAKER_04: You get early access to episodes.
58:40
SPEAKER_04: Ideally, we get the episodes out a few days before they're published to the public, which would be on a Monday.
58:47
SPEAKER_04: And so I usually try to get them out like Fridays.
58:51
SPEAKER_04: Sometimes, sometimes it's Sunday, you know, depending on my workload for the week.
58:57
SPEAKER_04: But either way, you will always get them out before the Monday they go out to the public.
59:04
SPEAKER_04: You get stickers, you get an on-air shout-out, unless you don't want to, in which case just let us know and we won't shout you out.
59:11
SPEAKER_04: Um, in case you don't want to you want people to know where your money is going.
59:16
SPEAKER_04: And um yeah, and so they like I said, you get early access and you get episodes before they release to the public.
59:23
SPEAKER_04: That's our first level.
59:25
SPEAKER_04: Our middle level, which is our casual drinker level at the$3 a month level, is the I only smoke when I'm drunk tier.
59:34
SPEAKER_04: This tier is cheaper than a glass of wine at the bar, and it has a few more benefits.
59:41
SPEAKER_04: So now you'll have access to ad-free episodes.
59:45
SPEAKER_04: We haven't done any ads this time around, but when we do put out episodes with ads, you will always get them without them.
59:53
SPEAKER_04: And you get them before they're released, so you also get them early.
59:59
SPEAKER_04: You also get the bonus content, and you get your on-air shout out if you so choose.
1:00:05
SPEAKER_04: Basically, you'll get it unless you tell us, hey, don't do that.
1:00:09
SPEAKER_04: You also get stickers, you get a keychain, a pin, and a magnet.
1:00:14
SPEAKER_04: Um, but the most important part is the bonus content.
1:00:17
SPEAKER_04: And literally, it's three bucks a month.
1:00:19
SPEAKER_04: So, you know, it it helps us more than you can imagine, but we're not, we're still not trying to like take all your money.
1:00:26
SPEAKER_04: And our third level is for our it's called Heavy Sipper.
1:00:30
SPEAKER_04: And this one is ten dollars a month, so still pretty much a bargain.
1:00:35
SPEAKER_04: Totally, it's not too much.
1:00:38
SPEAKER_04: This one is making your Mondays more drinkable since 2019.
1:00:43
SPEAKER_04: Remember, it's not drinking alone if you're drinking with us.
1:00:47
SPEAKER_01: That's right.
1:00:48
SPEAKER_01: Yeah, say it again.
1:00:49
SPEAKER_04: Say it again.
1:00:50
SPEAKER_04: It's not drinking alone if you're drinking with us.
1:00:53
SPEAKER_04: This tier will give you access to early episodes as well as ad-free episodes, as well as when we put out behind the scenes content.
1:01:03
SPEAKER_04: So that could be our video.
1:01:06
SPEAKER_04: Sometimes we post the videos from our Zoom recordings, sometimes we publish the unedited audio footage, and basically you'll be laughing your ass off at us with this one.
1:01:20
SPEAKER_04: So you'll receive merch, such as stickers, a pin, and a magnet, same as before, plus our drink set, and then you get our color change cups and shot glasses.
1:01:34
SPEAKER_04: So if you want to hear, yeah, if you want to hear our bonus episodes and you want some merch, just head on over to our Patreon, and everything is linked at sassinsips.com.
1:01:48
SPEAKER_04: You can find our social medias, all of our financial support links, PayPal, buy me a coffee, and Patreon.
1:01:58
SPEAKER_04: And if you like what you hear, if you so choose to support us, we appreciate it and we thank you.
1:02:03
SPEAKER_04: Um you can find all of our links at sassinsips.com.
1:02:06
SPEAKER_01: Yeah, y'all have been here for a while.
1:02:08
SPEAKER_01: And if you just started clickbait, you're already here five episodes.
1:02:11
SPEAKER_01: You know where to find this shit.
1:02:13
SPEAKER_04: Yeah.
1:02:13
SPEAKER_01: Don't Lisa ramble on.
1:02:15
SPEAKER_01: You know where to go.
1:02:16
SPEAKER_04: Just go there and do something.
1:02:17
SPEAKER_04: I should be sleeping right now.
1:02:21
SPEAKER_04: Or eating some munchies.
1:02:23
SPEAKER_01: Um yeah, I know.
1:02:25
SPEAKER_01: That I was thinking about that afterwards.
1:02:27
SPEAKER_01: I was thinking about the fact that when I was in Massachusetts over the summer, I happened to like stop by dispenser before I left and I got like really good gummies that I haven't broken into yet, and I've been told, don't have it, don't quarter it, ethan.
1:02:43
SPEAKER_04: Oh.
1:02:44
unknown: Yeah.
1:02:44
SPEAKER_04: You need to try these.
1:02:46
SPEAKER_01: They're unopened.
1:02:48
SPEAKER_01: Right.
1:02:49
SPEAKER_01: And they're like, I think they're watermelon sour patch.
1:02:54
SPEAKER_01: Chef's kiss.
1:02:55
SPEAKER_01: So um the whole time I was home with COVID, like the the whole past like three days, because I have like my crazy COVID story, which honestly I haven't heard of anybody's experience like mine.
1:03:05
SPEAKER_04: That's all and and you told the whole story on our Patreon bonus episode, so yeah, yeah.
1:03:11
SPEAKER_04: You don't like to tell it again?
1:03:13
unknown: No, no.
1:03:14
SPEAKER_01: But the last three days I've been home, it only occurred to me last night getting ready for like going to sleep early, so it's like wake up for work this morning.
1:03:24
SPEAKER_01: Um, that I could have taken my gummies.
1:03:26
SPEAKER_04: Yeah, but you probably you're probably better off that you didn't.
1:03:30
SPEAKER_04: Just let your body do what it needs to do, and who knows how that would have affected you.
1:03:39
SPEAKER_02: Yeah, that's true.
1:03:41
SPEAKER_04: I mean, I get what you're saying about being home, and yes, that's a smart idea, especially if you don't know how it's gonna affect you, but also when you're not feeling your best, if you have an adverse reaction, like who knows if it's just gonna make you feel even worse, and your body is already not strong enough, like that you don't want to put more stress on your body.
1:03:59
SPEAKER_01: You're right.
1:04:00
SPEAKER_01: So I guess like super like I mean everybody does, but like yeah, I don't know, I guess like super super like cotton mouth, and everybody does, but like especially with like the amount of like not to be a process, but the amount of like just like congestion and like fumminess that I've had, probably having cotton mouth plus like having to blow your nose every two seconds wouldn't really like work out too well because you probably did the right thing, not taking it.
1:04:27
SPEAKER_01: Yeah, but let's say I was just home, right?
1:04:30
SPEAKER_01: Um yeah, then yeah, then you send it to like a family member and I was just like corn standing in the room.
1:04:35
SPEAKER_01: Um that would have been great.
1:04:36
SPEAKER_04: Yeah, well when we do our Airbnb to go to our restaurant on Patreon, yeah.
1:04:44
SPEAKER_04: And the lube the strawberry episode.
1:04:47
SPEAKER_04: What was it?
1:04:48
SPEAKER_04: Strawberry lube?
1:04:50
SPEAKER_04: What?
1:04:51
SPEAKER_04: Oh no, that was this episode.
1:04:53
SPEAKER_04: Yeah.
1:04:54
SPEAKER_02: I still got the ibs.
1:04:58
SPEAKER_04: I yeah, I drank a lot today.
1:05:00
SPEAKER_01: Oh so Lisa's thinking about what we're going to do.
1:05:05
SPEAKER_01: Um, for like we have like this elaborate plan for one of our Patreon episodes that we came up with on our Patreon episode.
1:05:12
SPEAKER_01: And um, y'all just aren't gonna know unless you go listen to the episode.
1:05:16
SPEAKER_01: So you guys can figure that out.
1:05:18
SPEAKER_01: Go to the website.
1:05:19
SPEAKER_01: Remember, please do not drink it and drive.
1:05:22
SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
1:05:22
SPEAKER_01: Drink safe.
1:05:23
SPEAKER_01: Like on here on the internet, we can't drive.
1:05:25
SPEAKER_04: And swap flies, because those motherfuckers invade your house and they think that they can fucking live there and they cannot.
1:05:32
SPEAKER_01: Fuck flies.
1:05:33
SPEAKER_01: But they do.
1:05:34
SPEAKER_04: I'm sure it's okay if it's a fly.
1:05:36
SPEAKER_01: No, but someone please explain to me what do flies do for us?
1:05:40
SPEAKER_01: Like, I know a lot of people are like, and what do spiders do?
1:05:42
SPEAKER_01: Because everybody hits spiders, but like spiders like spiders are like flies.
1:05:46
SPEAKER_01: What do flies do?
1:05:47
SPEAKER_04: I don't know.
1:05:49
SPEAKER_01: Do they just like are they not pollinators?
1:05:52
SPEAKER_01: Why are they important to us?
1:05:54
SPEAKER_04: Maybe they feed spiders.
1:05:56
SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
1:05:56
SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
1:05:58
SPEAKER_01: What about mosquitoes?
1:05:59
unknown: Don't disappear.
1:06:00
SPEAKER_04: There was a mosquito in here before, too.
1:06:03
SPEAKER_04: Right before you and I signed on.
1:06:04
SPEAKER_04: There was a mosquito.
1:06:05
SPEAKER_04: I was like, what the fuck is that?
1:06:06
SPEAKER_04: It was a big ass mosquito.
1:06:08
SPEAKER_01: It's barely spring.
1:06:11
SPEAKER_01: Go back to your name.
1:06:13
SPEAKER_01: South.
1:06:13
SPEAKER_01: Where the fuck are you from, mosquitoes?
1:06:16
SPEAKER_04: Hell.
1:06:17
SPEAKER_04: From the depths of hell.
1:06:20
SPEAKER_01: God.
1:06:21
SPEAKER_04: Thankfully it was like by the floor, so I stepped on it.
1:06:26
SPEAKER_04: Although it did fly away, and then I had to step on it again.
1:06:29
SPEAKER_04: Like who the f I mean I had my ug slippers, but I had shoes on.
1:06:33
SPEAKER_04: It should have killed it.
1:06:34
SPEAKER_04: It did not die the first time.
1:06:37
SPEAKER_00: They are like terrible.
1:06:41
SPEAKER_00: Very terrible.
1:06:42
SPEAKER_00: I don't like this kids.
1:06:44
SPEAKER_04: Fly flew by my face again.
1:06:50
SPEAKER_01: Anyway.
1:06:51
SPEAKER_01: But you've been listening to Sassin's Tips.
1:06:54
SPEAKER_01: You've been listening to Cliff Kate, and that's like we gotta go.
1:06:59
SPEAKER_01: I'm Brittany.
1:07:00
SPEAKER_04: And I'm Lisa.
1:07:02
SPEAKER_01: And that's it for this episode, guys.
1:07:04
SPEAKER_01: See you next episode.
1:07:06
SPEAKER_01: Peace out.
