Transcript
- 0:03Speaker 1: What's up, everyone, and welcome to another episode of the
- 0:06Speaker 1: Epstein Chronicles. Let's talk a little bit about Jean lu Brunell,
- 0:10Speaker 1: shall we the man who dressed himself in the armor
- 0:13Speaker 1: of high fashion and international glamour, but was in fact
- 0:16Speaker 1: one of the darkest conduits in Epstein's global trafficking empire,
- 0:22Speaker 1: a man whose name should live in infamy, not as
- 0:24Speaker 1: a fashion mogul, but as a predator who helped industrialize
- 0:28Speaker 1: the exploitation of vulnerable girls under the guise of modeling contracts.
- 0:34Speaker 1: Brunell wasn't some minor background player. He wasn't a footnote.
- 0:38Speaker 1: He was a central artery in the grotesque circulatory system
- 0:42Speaker 1: that kept Epstein's operational live and throbbing, and Brunell's so
- 0:46Speaker 1: called modeling agency MC squared Model Management function less like
- 0:51Speaker 1: a legitimate business and more like a meat market for
- 0:54Speaker 1: Epstein's perverse tastes. He had access, he had reach, He
- 0:58Speaker 1: had the illusion of respectability, and he used all these
- 1:01Speaker 1: to scour Eastern Europe, South America and beyond looking for
- 1:05Speaker 1: the poorest, most desperate girls. He could find fourteen, fifteen,
- 1:10Speaker 1: sometimes younger girls who didn't speak English, girls whose parents
- 1:14Speaker 1: believed they were being flown to New York or Paris
- 1:17Speaker 1: to become the next k Moss. Instead, they were being
- 1:21Speaker 1: funneled into a black hole from which many never returned.
- 1:25Speaker 1: The same Epstein bankrolled this, of course he did. He
- 1:29Speaker 1: poured at least a million dollars into Brunell's company. Why
- 1:33Speaker 1: because it gave him direct access to a never ending
- 1:36Speaker 1: supply line. Brunell allegedly boasted of having access to over
- 1:40Speaker 1: a thousand girls, including triplets, whom he was offering as
- 1:44Speaker 1: a birthday present to Epstein. Let that settle in human
- 1:47Speaker 1: lives as gifts, like he was talking about party favors.
- 1:52Speaker 1: And yet this man, who should have been unmasked as
- 1:55Speaker 1: an international trafficker years ago, was protected by silence, by money,
- 2:00Speaker 1: by fear. Jean Luke Brunell operated in broad daylight. He
- 2:05Speaker 1: was at the fashion parties, He was in the rooms
- 2:07Speaker 1: with billionaires. He knew the names, he knew the routines,
- 2:11Speaker 1: he knew where the bodies were metaphorically and maybe literally buried.
- 2:15Speaker 1: And like Laine Maxwell, like Les Wexner, like the others,
- 2:19Speaker 1: he played the role of gatekeeper of scout, of predator,
- 2:23Speaker 1: hiding behind a smile and when the world finally began
- 2:27Speaker 1: to wake up to Epstein's crimes. Brunell did what cowards
- 2:30Speaker 1: always do. He ran, vanished into the shadows, and when
- 2:35Speaker 1: he was finally arrested in France in twenty twenty, it
- 2:37Speaker 1: was long overdue. He was charged with rape, sexual assault,
- 2:42Speaker 1: and the trafficking of miners, including allegations from girls as
- 2:45Speaker 1: young as twelve. But before justice could truly be served,
- 2:49Speaker 1: Brunel was found hanged in his cell in twenty twenty two,
- 2:54Speaker 1: just like Epstein, just like Magic. No trial, no public unmasking,
- 2:59Speaker 1: no testimony, another convenient death that ensured another set of
- 3:03Speaker 1: names would never be dragged into the light. His suicide,
- 3:08Speaker 1: or whatever you want to call it, was a final
- 3:10Speaker 1: act of cowardice, and more importantly, a final blow of
- 3:13Speaker 1: survivors who deserved to see a mancer for what he'd done.
- 3:16Speaker 1: There's no sense of closure. There's only the growing sense
- 3:20Speaker 1: that this pipeline, this network, this entire machine of exploitation
- 3:24Speaker 1: wasn't just the work of one or two monsters. It
- 3:28Speaker 1: was systemic, industrial, financed protected. Jean Luke Brunell didn't just
- 3:34Speaker 1: help Epstein traffic girls. He made it global. He made
- 3:37Speaker 1: it look legitimate, and for that his name should live
- 3:40Speaker 1: on in disgrace, etched into the concrete of every institution
- 3:44Speaker 1: that failed to stop him. Not as a fashion icon,
- 3:47Speaker 1: but as a predator, as a key architect of a
- 3:50Speaker 1: modern day slave trade, hiding and playing sight while the
- 3:53Speaker 1: world looked the other way. And let's not forget that
- 3:57Speaker 1: Jean Luke Brunel was not some rogue element operated in isolation.
- 4:01Speaker 1: He was embraced by the fashion world. He was lauded,
- 4:04Speaker 1: photographs celebrated. His agencies, first Karen Models, then MC squared,
- 4:09Speaker 1: were legitimized by the industry. This was not a man
- 4:12Speaker 1: lurking in alleyways or whispering in shadows. This was a
- 4:16Speaker 1: man that walked red carpets, who sat front row at shows,
- 4:19Speaker 1: who gave interviews and ran photo shoots with underage girls.
- 4:23Speaker 1: And the industry, either through complicity or wilful ignorance, kept
- 4:27Speaker 1: feeding him credibility, even as rumors swirled, even as girls
- 4:31Speaker 1: spoke up, The machine kept spinning because the truth would
- 4:34Speaker 1: have cost too much. Brunel was a pipeline, yes, but
- 4:39Speaker 1: he was also a disguise. His European accent, his air
- 4:43Speaker 1: of sophistication, his connections in Paris, Milan, Miami. They gave
- 4:47Speaker 1: Epstein's operation a touch of class, a mask of professionalism.
- 4:52Speaker 1: This is in trafficking. They could say these are models,
- 4:55Speaker 1: they signed contracts, they flew business class. But what they
- 4:59Speaker 1: never mentioned the coercion, the manipulation, the absolute predation at
- 5:03Speaker 1: the heart of it all, because once these girls arrived,
- 5:07Speaker 1: many were locked in mansions, stripped of autonomy, and told
- 5:10Speaker 1: to know certain terms what was expected of them, and
- 5:13Speaker 1: modeling had nothing to do with it. Brunell wasn't just
- 5:17Speaker 1: providing a service. He was creating an entire ecosystem of abuse.
- 5:21Speaker 1: He knew the legal loopholes, he knew where parental consent
- 5:25Speaker 1: wasn't required, He knew which countries had the weakest protections
- 5:28Speaker 1: for miners, and he exploited them like a hunter tracking
- 5:32Speaker 1: wounded prey. It wasn't just about Epstein. It was about
- 5:35Speaker 1: the system that allowed men like Brunel to thrive. The agencies,
- 5:40Speaker 1: the scouts, the scout bosses, the photographers, the handlers. There
- 5:45Speaker 1: was an entire infrastructure built to keep girls quiet and
- 5:49Speaker 1: keep predators rich. There are credible allegations that Brunell personally
- 5:53Speaker 1: drugged and rate multiple victims, that he kept girls in
- 5:56Speaker 1: his apartment for Epstein, that he coordinated travel for underage
- 6:00Speaker 1: girls to meet powerful men, men whose names still remain redacted, unspoken,
- 6:06Speaker 1: protected by legal filings and sealed documents. Epstein may have
- 6:11Speaker 1: been the face of this empire, but Brunell was its supplier,
- 6:14Speaker 1: its recruiter, its hands on abuser, and the nightmare didn't
- 6:18Speaker 1: end with Epstein's death. It doesn't end with Brunell's either,
- 6:21Speaker 1: because neither of them worked alone. And the gut wrenching
- 6:25Speaker 1: part is that so many of the girls he trafficked
- 6:28Speaker 1: will never see justice. They'll never get their day in
- 6:30Speaker 1: court because Brunell took the cowards exit. He died before
- 6:34Speaker 1: he could be forced to name names, before he could
- 6:36Speaker 1: be pressed under oath, and just like what Epstein, were
- 6:40Speaker 1: left with unanswered questions, unprosecuted crimes, and an entire media
- 6:45Speaker 1: ecosystem that seems all too eager to turn the page.
- 6:49Speaker 1: Brunell's death was not justice. It was silencing. It was
- 6:52Speaker 1: an erasure, a vanishing act that protected everyone else still
- 6:56Speaker 1: alive and still powerful, And in the vacuum that followed,
- 6:59Speaker 1: the mainstream press offered a shrug, a headlined a moment
- 7:03Speaker 1: of full reflection, then silence. They didn't dig, They didn't
- 7:07Speaker 1: investigate the girls who had been flown to New York,
- 7:10Speaker 1: or the parties in Saint Bart's, or the private flights
- 7:13Speaker 1: that left from the airport in Paris and landed on islands.
- 7:16Speaker 1: No teenage girls should ever have been sent to And
- 7:19Speaker 1: yet the survivors kept speaking, they kept fighting, because Brunell's
- 7:24Speaker 1: death didn't erase their trauma. It didn't undo what he
- 7:27Speaker 1: did to them, and for many, it only made things worse.
- 7:31Speaker 1: It confirmed their worse fear that justice was never coming,
- 7:35Speaker 1: that the system once again had found a way to
- 7:37Speaker 1: shield a predator and ignore the prey, that the bodies
- 7:41Speaker 1: and souls the young girls were less important than the
- 7:43Speaker 1: reputation of powerful men who used them. And Brunell's story,
- 7:47Speaker 1: like Epstein's, is not over, because the survivors are still alive,
- 7:51Speaker 1: still living with the aftermath, still walking into therapy rooms
- 7:54Speaker 1: and courtrooms, trying to explain what was done to them
- 7:57Speaker 1: under the pretense of modeling, still being told that their
- 8:01Speaker 1: pain has an expiration date, while the men who inflicted
- 8:04Speaker 1: it get the luxury of dying before a single verdict
- 8:07Speaker 1: is read. So when people say that the Epstein network
- 8:11Speaker 1: is dead. Remind them of Brunel. Remind them of what
- 8:14Speaker 1: it means to have a system so broken that its
- 8:16Speaker 1: key enabler is dying custody before ever facing the public.
- 8:20Speaker 1: Remind them that this wasn't just about an island or
- 8:23Speaker 1: a financier or one rogue socialite. It was about a structure,
- 8:27Speaker 1: a machine, and Jean Luke Brunel was one of the
- 8:31Speaker 1: master engineers. Because if we don't keep saying the names,
- 8:35Speaker 1: the fashion world will forget, the media will forget, the
- 8:39Speaker 1: legal system has already forgotten. But the girls, those stolen
- 8:43Speaker 1: girls from Romania, Brazil, Ukraine, Paris, they can't forget. They
- 8:49Speaker 1: live with it every day, and until their enabler is named,
- 8:52Speaker 1: shamed and stripped of protection, there is no justice. There
- 8:55Speaker 1: is only delay, only decay, only silence. And that silence
- 9:01Speaker 1: is not just deafening, it's designed. Every time a man
- 9:04Speaker 1: like Jean Lou Brunell dies in custody, the system excels
- 9:08Speaker 1: in relief. The list of witnesses grows shorter, the accountability
- 9:12Speaker 1: gets blurrier, the trail of names grows colder. The very
- 9:16Speaker 1: people who should have been afraid are once again allowed
- 9:19Speaker 1: to breathe easy, protected by the curtain of suicide and
- 9:22Speaker 1: the passage of time. But we see through that. We
- 9:25Speaker 1: know what this is. We know what kind of operation
- 9:28Speaker 1: dies with a whisper instead of a verdict. There's a
- 9:32Speaker 1: reason that the survivors call it a cover up, not
- 9:34Speaker 1: a theory, a cover up because Brunell's death, like Epstein's,
- 9:38Speaker 1: served the exact same function obstruction, not of justice in
- 9:42Speaker 1: the abstract, but of real, tangible trials that never happened,
- 9:46Speaker 1: of subpoenas that were never answered, of networks that were
- 9:50Speaker 1: never fully exposed. There was a path to justice, and
- 9:54Speaker 1: Brunell's life was a necessary step on it. And now
- 9:58Speaker 1: that path is broken again. The rot wasn't just in
- 10:01Speaker 1: Epstein's mansion or Brunell's penhouse. It was and is in
- 10:06Speaker 1: the courts, in the agencies, in the media, in the
- 10:09Speaker 1: governments that allowed these men to operate on check for decades.
- 10:13Speaker 1: These weren't master manipulators hiding in plain sight. They were enabled,
- 10:18Speaker 1: funded and embraced. They were wanted by the powerful because
- 10:22Speaker 1: they served a purpose, because they provided something the elite
- 10:25Speaker 1: believed they were entitled to control over the bodies and
- 10:29Speaker 1: the lives of the powerless, and Jean Luke Brunel provided
- 10:33Speaker 1: exactly that. He was the midwife of Epstein's abuse pipeline.
- 10:37Speaker 1: He spoke French war suits and smiled for cameras, but
- 10:41Speaker 1: behind that was a man who orchestrated suffering with surgical precision.
- 10:46Speaker 1: He knew what he was doing. He didn't stumble into this.
- 10:48Speaker 1: He built it, and he kept it running because too
- 10:51Speaker 1: many powerful men wanted him to. But what about the girls,
- 10:55Speaker 1: the girls who trusted him, who boarded flights with hope
- 10:58Speaker 1: in their hearts and walked into an night mare they
- 11:00Speaker 1: couldn't escape, who were told that they'd be stars, only
- 11:03Speaker 1: to be drugged, rape, passed around, and discarded. What happened
- 11:07Speaker 1: to them while Brunell was living like royalty, protected by
- 11:11Speaker 1: Epstein's money and fashion silence? What happened when they cried
- 11:15Speaker 1: for help and were told to be grateful? And even
- 11:19Speaker 1: in death he's protected. There'll be no televised trial, no
- 11:22Speaker 1: cross examination, no chance to ask him the questions that
- 11:25Speaker 1: could unravel the whole operation. No reckoning for the lies
- 11:28Speaker 1: he told or the girls he broke. Just a body
- 11:31Speaker 1: in a cell and a story that ends too cleanly,
- 11:34Speaker 1: too conveniently. The same way that Epstein's did, the same
- 11:38Speaker 1: way Glenne Maxwell's might. If the media keeps off peddling
- 11:41Speaker 1: her role in all of this, it should make every
- 11:44Speaker 1: thinking person sick because the truth didn't die with Brunell,
- 11:48Speaker 1: it was buried with him. And unless the public demands more,
- 11:51Speaker 1: more documents unsealed, more enablers named, more survivors protected, this
- 11:56Speaker 1: cycle will repeat. Another monster will take his place, another
- 12:00Speaker 1: girl will be a promised to dream and wake up
- 12:03Speaker 1: in hell, and the cameras will blink once, maybe twice,
- 12:07Speaker 1: before moving on. And yo, let's be brutally honest here.
- 12:11Speaker 1: Jean Luke Brunell didn't just destroy girls' lives. He sold them,
- 12:15Speaker 1: packaged them, turn their trauma into product. And he did
- 12:19Speaker 1: it with the blessing of high society, with Epstein's cash,
- 12:22Speaker 1: with corporate contracts with politicians, bankers, and celebrities look in
- 12:27Speaker 1: the other way, if not indulging in the various services
- 12:30Speaker 1: he arranged. That's the part that nobody wants to say aloud,
- 12:35Speaker 1: but we have to, because this isn't just the story
- 12:38Speaker 1: of a man who raped girls. This is the story
- 12:41Speaker 1: of a world that led them, a world that knew,
- 12:44Speaker 1: a world that helped them a world that profited. Jean
- 12:48Speaker 1: Luke Brunel wasn't just a predator. He was a mirror,
- 12:51Speaker 1: a reflection of everything we allow when money becomes more
- 12:54Speaker 1: important than human life, when silence becomes more valuable than truth,
- 12:59Speaker 1: and when girls, little girls become disposable for the right client.
- 13:03Speaker 1: And that's the gut punch, isn't it that even in death,
- 13:06Speaker 1: Jean Luke Brunell got more peace than the girls he ruined.
- 13:10Speaker 1: Ever will all right, folks, that's gonna do it for
- 13:13Speaker 1: this one, And in the following episodes, we're gonna finish
- 13:16Speaker 1: off the deposition that was given by Miss Vasquez putting
- 13:21Speaker 1: Brunell and mc squared and Epstein on blast for them
- 13:25Speaker 1: using mc squared as a pipeline to feed the depravity
- 13:29Speaker 1: of Jeffrey Epstein, Jean Luke Brunell and the others that
- 13:33Speaker 1: were in Epstein's orbit. All of the information that goes
