- 0:05Speaker 1: Drama Darling. Drama Darling, Drama Darling.
- 0:19Speaker 2: Hello, Darlings, and welcome to our Love Hotel recap.
- 0:28Speaker 3: Joining me is Emily Teresa's Drama Darling. Hi, Emily.
- 0:33Speaker 4: Hello.
- 0:34Speaker 5: Reminder that Lou came on Drama Darling right after she
- 0:39Speaker 5: rapped Love Hotel.
- 0:40Speaker 4: Remember that's right, Drama Darling.
- 0:44Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 0:44Speaker 2: She it seemed to have had a great time and
- 0:48Speaker 2: as we're seeing it all play out now mm hmmm.
- 0:51Speaker 2: And she did, of course the best thing, which like
- 0:53Speaker 2: you'll just have to wait and see, Darling. She is
- 0:58Speaker 2: just so fun to watch. She just don't get sick
- 1:02Speaker 2: of it.
- 1:02Speaker 5: My god, I Joel Kim Booster is a fine host.
- 1:09Speaker 5: I wouldn't mind Lou hosting this show, but I think
- 1:13Speaker 5: she would end up like hooking up with most of
- 1:16Speaker 5: the contempt.
- 1:16Speaker 2: It would be a conflict of interest in the bedroom,
- 1:19Speaker 2: you know. Yeah, there's no way she could keep focused. No,
- 1:23Speaker 2: she would be a great host, You're right, but I
- 1:27Speaker 2: think that she would be too much of a distraction
- 1:30Speaker 2: for said men.
- 1:33Speaker 3: Yeah, they would be a distraction to her.
- 1:36Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 1:36Speaker 5: I also, though, don't mind her out there trying to
- 1:39Speaker 5: like mix it up and hooking other people, like getting
- 1:44Speaker 5: the party going.
- 1:45Speaker 2: Yes, And your example is when she's on her Minaja
- 1:49Speaker 2: Chuah date the and she is with I believe Ralph.
- 1:54Speaker 2: No wait, hold on, no, Giselle got Ralph for that. Yeah,
- 1:57Speaker 2: so it's with she Pit, she got Jerry and Wala yes, okay, yes, so,
- 2:06Speaker 2: which was great because she essentially, you know, got the
- 2:12Speaker 2: vibe from Walla that he really liked Ashley and then
- 2:17Speaker 2: it was like, oh, well, darling, you should just scope
- 2:21Speaker 2: just write her a note, write her a love note
- 2:23Speaker 2: and just send it.
- 2:25Speaker 3: Lou picked wall and Mark, thank you. I'm sorry.
- 2:28Speaker 4: Yeah, no, it's it's it's these.
- 2:31Speaker 2: Three gray haired white men are really trying my last nerve.
- 2:37Speaker 3: I cannot get it together.
- 2:40Speaker 2: Okay, yikes. So yeah, Luanne, Mark and Walla and I
- 2:47Speaker 2: did find it really fun to watch this Manajachua date
- 2:50Speaker 2: because Mark was basically like figuring out Luanne. And we
- 2:57Speaker 2: we know Luanne and we know these housewives, but they don't.
- 3:00Speaker 2: So it's really fun to see them learn their personalities.
- 3:04Speaker 2: And he's like, oh, well, you know what I mean.
- 3:08Speaker 2: Lou is just a smart ass, you know, and I
- 3:10Speaker 2: like that she and I would never classify her as that,
- 3:14Speaker 2: but she is just fun. She's a fun time gal,
- 3:19Speaker 2: but he classifies her as a wise ass, and then
- 3:22Speaker 2: he compliments her on her legs and she's like, m
- 3:26Speaker 2: boo boo boom, and she's.
- 3:27Speaker 3: Kicking her legs up in the air.
- 3:32Speaker 2: And you're like seeing her in a different light because
- 3:35Speaker 2: he doesn't know her, and it is so enjoyable to watch.
- 3:40Speaker 3: She's just looing it up. Oh my god, it was
- 3:43Speaker 3: so funny.
- 3:45Speaker 2: And then she was like in her confessional, she says
- 3:47Speaker 2: that Mark reminds her of a lot of men that
- 3:50Speaker 2: she's dated before, and then we get that flashback to Tom.
- 3:54Speaker 5: I mean, I was surprised that he had any comparison
- 3:57Speaker 5: to Tom, but I mean, okay, I mean that's all
- 4:03Speaker 5: they had.
- 4:03Speaker 4: I guess they're like, we could use this footage of Tom.
- 4:06Speaker 2: Yeah, you know, because isn't it we can use this footage.
- 4:10Speaker 2: They're just looking for a reason to use it. Yeah,
- 4:13Speaker 2: don't say it's about Tom.
- 4:16Speaker 4: They could use Harry Duban or Tom.
- 4:19Speaker 3: Yeah, those are the two we all know.
- 4:22Speaker 2: But like, isn't Mark really the guy who just wants
- 4:25Speaker 2: to only have a good time? Isn't that why she
- 4:28Speaker 2: didn't pick him in the end, and she.
- 4:29Speaker 3: Went with Ralph.
- 4:30Speaker 2: Yeah, yes, so it is fascinating to learn. And I
- 4:35Speaker 2: really appreciate this about Lou that even though her game
- 4:38Speaker 2: is at a one hundred and twenty and she knows
- 4:42Speaker 2: how to have a great time, and she knows how
- 4:43Speaker 2: to flirt, and she knows how to handle these men
- 4:45Speaker 2: and put them in their place and keep them as
- 4:47Speaker 2: their boy toys if she so chooses, she is sussing
- 4:50Speaker 2: out the men who are serious about having more than
- 4:54Speaker 2: just a good time.
- 4:56Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 4:57Speaker 5: I think it was actually surprised because the two people
- 5:02Speaker 5: that like Mark and Jerry were making the show kind
- 5:06Speaker 5: of interesting with their fighting over Lou and yes that's
- 5:10Speaker 5: just gone now gone.
- 5:13Speaker 3: Sure, gone gone.
- 5:14Speaker 5: I'd be like, wait, no, Lou, don't what no, like
- 5:17Speaker 5: you know, and like they were all in their headsets
- 5:20Speaker 5: and producers like no, no.
- 5:22Speaker 2: She had so much fun playing that because she was like, well, Jerry,
- 5:26Speaker 2: I just think we're cut from the same cloth, and Mark, you.
- 5:29Speaker 3: Know you're not. You're not here for a long time,
- 5:32Speaker 3: but a good time.
- 5:32Speaker 6: That's why I choose Ralph because he's tall. I am
- 5:38Speaker 6: playing the producers darling cabaret Ralph like.
- 5:41Speaker 2: She just went into practically a song and dance number.
- 5:44Speaker 2: The second she made that move and just had a
- 5:47Speaker 2: blast walking back to her seat, and it was such
- 5:50Speaker 2: a twist.
- 5:51Speaker 3: I did love it.
- 5:52Speaker 2: And then here Shannon's like, I I but I chose him,
- 5:58Speaker 2: and Giselle was like, shows him too, and everyone shows him.
- 6:03Speaker 2: So it was a fun little game that she did.
- 6:07Speaker 5: Yeah, yeah, I mean at the very yeah, well who did?
- 6:14Speaker 5: Do you want to skip to that end? Yeah?
- 6:16Speaker 4: Sure, yeah, because like who did?
- 6:19Speaker 2: So Gizelle chose Ralph and Philip? Okay, and so because oh.
- 6:28Speaker 4: This is the dates, not the end, who they chose?
- 6:31Speaker 3: Oh I'm sorry, let me go, let me go to
- 6:33Speaker 3: the end. I apologize. I didn't. I didn't. I didn't
- 6:36Speaker 3: go to the right place.
- 6:37Speaker 5: Uh, Gizelle Lou picks Ralph, Ashley picks wile A, and
- 6:43Speaker 5: Gizelle picks JR.
- 6:46Speaker 2: Oh right, because Gizelle was going to pick Ralph right,
- 6:51Speaker 2: and so when she shows ja Ja.
- 6:54Speaker 3: Was like, thank you.
- 6:55Speaker 2: I think uh, because they all wanted to choose Ralph
- 6:59Speaker 2: as there now number one. Yeah, I don't get it,
- 7:04Speaker 2: no way Shannon. Was Shannon going to choose Earle originally
- 7:08Speaker 2: or did she.
- 7:09Speaker 5: Think I think she has spent the most time with Earl.
- 7:12Speaker 5: I think she was going to pick Earl mainly I
- 7:14Speaker 5: think just had a guilt. Also, every time she gets
- 7:19Speaker 5: some time with Earl does violins start?
- 7:21Speaker 4: I'm like, what else, Earl? What else has happened here?
- 7:25Speaker 5: Oh?
- 7:26Speaker 1: Man?
- 7:27Speaker 3: He is just a walking sad story.
- 7:30Speaker 4: I mean, I guess we all have sad stories.
- 7:33Speaker 2: No I know, but it's really something else like And
- 7:37Speaker 2: then also he's got either it's a sad story or
- 7:40Speaker 2: he's like a child discovering something for the first time,
- 7:43Speaker 2: like has he ever left anywhere?
- 7:45Speaker 3: Because he was like, well, what's that over there? She's
- 7:49Speaker 3: like that's the bedroom.
- 7:50Speaker 2: You know, there are things that he just doesn't is
- 7:54Speaker 2: it familiar with for no reason in life?
- 7:57Speaker 5: No, No, that was him being like yeah, baby, like
- 8:01Speaker 5: he was saying, oh, what's that?
- 8:02Speaker 2: Oh right, you're right, you know what, You're right. I
- 8:06Speaker 2: did think about it, but that was like, no, I didn't.
- 8:09Speaker 2: I put that aside because his delivery was so had
- 8:11Speaker 2: so no game to it.
- 8:13Speaker 3: Well, but that's just the least correct.
- 8:17Speaker 5: His pickup line sound like it's his first day on
- 8:20Speaker 5: planet Earth.
- 8:21Speaker 4: But yes, that was okay being like, let's fuck.
- 8:24Speaker 3: Okay, got it, thank you for speaking Earl. Oh.
- 8:27Speaker 2: The other one was when Shannon and Earl were walking
- 8:31Speaker 2: on the beach right, and Shannon's like, I have bigger
- 8:35Speaker 2: waves than this, because he was like, whoa waves, like
- 8:38Speaker 2: I've never seen him before, you know, And She's like,
- 8:41Speaker 2: I have bigger waves in this. In one time I
- 8:45Speaker 2: rented a house on the sand and it was like
- 8:47Speaker 2: thirty three thousand dollars a month.
- 8:49Speaker 3: Did you hear that?
- 8:50Speaker 5: Yes?
- 8:51Speaker 4: Yes I did, but you know, and that.
- 8:54Speaker 2: Was really interesting because it felt very real, like she
- 8:57Speaker 2: was just talking like they really were on a date.
- 9:00Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 9:01Speaker 7: Well yeah, he would pull her aside to give her
- 9:05Speaker 7: a kiss here and there, and I think she actually
- 9:07Speaker 7: enjoyed that. Yeah, to the point where when the gals
- 9:13Speaker 7: are out there and they're matching outfits at the pool
- 9:16Speaker 7: and Giselle says, how important, uh is the finance part
- 9:22Speaker 7: of it with these guys to you? And she and
- 9:25Speaker 7: she's like, do you think Earl has money? And she's
- 9:27Speaker 7: like no, I don't think so, like back.
- 9:29Speaker 5: Off, like Earl could have the most money, and Shannon's
- 9:35Speaker 5: just like no, no.
- 9:35Speaker 4: No, he's poor. He's broke, so you won't be interested
- 9:38Speaker 4: anyone here.
- 9:40Speaker 3: Oh I think.
- 9:41Speaker 2: That's what it was. Oh, that's so funny. Oh, interesting,
- 9:45Speaker 2: like back off had that thought like, but I mean,
- 9:50Speaker 2: I don't know, no, that that is I didn't take that.
- 9:52Speaker 3: That's a good take.
- 9:55Speaker 2: But she was like I think when she said how
- 9:59Speaker 2: oh this was hilarious When Gizelle pose that question and
- 10:04Speaker 2: Shannon says, you know, well, I don't know. It's finances,
- 10:07Speaker 2: it's not really at the top of my list and
- 10:10Speaker 2: the lands.
- 10:10Speaker 6: Like, oh, really, what are you gonna do? Go live
- 10:12Speaker 6: in a two bedroom ranch in the middle of.
- 10:16Speaker 2: And then Shannon's like, no, no, no, he doesn't live
- 10:19Speaker 2: on a ranch. He lived like in a town outside
- 10:22Speaker 2: of Atlanta.
- 10:24Speaker 3: And he's like, no, I meant a ranch style house.
- 10:27Speaker 3: Have you heard of it? Do you know what a
- 10:28Speaker 3: ranch is?
- 10:36Speaker 4: Who else misunderstood the ranch and the ranch? Was that
- 10:39Speaker 4: on Salt Lake City somebody else that.
- 10:42Speaker 2: Was a recent one where someone didn't understand ranch and rants.
- 10:45Speaker 2: And then Shannon's like, I like ranch style houses in
- 10:49Speaker 2: a confessional. I'm like, oh, babe, you didn't understand what
- 10:52Speaker 2: she was saying. That was so funny because it was
- 10:55Speaker 2: so sincere and lou dragging the ranch style house had
- 10:59Speaker 2: me and Shannon being like, no, it's not a ranch,
- 11:03Speaker 2: it's he lives in an actual town. This show had
- 11:10Speaker 2: me cracking up so many times, and that was one
- 11:13Speaker 2: of my favorite parts. But I was like, I mean,
- 11:17Speaker 2: I guess you could call my house a ranch. It
- 11:19Speaker 2: is a ranch, but I took no offense to it whatsoever.
- 11:22Speaker 2: And I thought it was hilarious to be dragged by
- 11:24Speaker 2: lou But lou Anne is right, you know, these ladies
- 11:30Speaker 2: are going to want more than that, and she was
- 11:32Speaker 2: calling Shannon out like are you telling me you're gonna
- 11:35Speaker 2: want to live in a ranch with a two bedroom
- 11:38Speaker 2: ranch in the middle of bum fuck nowhere. No, that's
- 11:41Speaker 2: not going to be good for Shannon Storms, but door,
- 11:43Speaker 2: I'm sorry, be honest about it. So finances do matter.
- 11:48Speaker 2: Let's call a spade a spade.
- 11:50Speaker 5: Well, also, because it's like if with uh Shannon, she's
- 11:54Speaker 5: saying I want something very different, and like, you know,
- 12:00Speaker 5: it doesn't maybe seem like this is too different from
- 12:04Speaker 5: yeah and having to support somebody.
- 12:07Speaker 3: Right, it isn't.
- 12:08Speaker 2: And I think that's why she probably didn't want to
- 12:10Speaker 2: get called out by those ladies by saying, like watch out,
- 12:16Speaker 2: don't do it again. Because Luanne made a very pointed
- 12:19Speaker 2: note to say, we don't want to be sugar mamas,
- 12:23Speaker 2: and I felt that, like resonate so hard for them, and.
- 12:28Speaker 4: Jazelle said that she's like, we've all made our money.
- 12:31Speaker 2: Yes, Zelle said, and Luanne you know, co signed that
- 12:35Speaker 2: by saying, we don't want to be sugar mamas. And
- 12:37Speaker 2: so they have obviously, you know, whether they want to
- 12:40Speaker 2: admit it or not, because I'm sure they've had other
- 12:42Speaker 2: relationships that we don't know about where they have been
- 12:46Speaker 2: very much taken advantage of for that. And I appreciated
- 12:50Speaker 2: them speaking to that and being like, no, we need
- 12:54Speaker 2: to be treated differently, and we need to be on
- 12:56Speaker 2: the lookout for men like this because they're on the prowl.
- 12:59Speaker 2: It's happened so many times with these housewives.
- 13:02Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 13:02Speaker 5: Yeah, And I didn't realize that the format for the
- 13:05Speaker 5: show we keep updating the guys. I'm really happy about that.
- 13:09Speaker 5: And Darling's we will put up a new grid next
- 13:13Speaker 5: week with the eliminated men and the additional men.
- 13:17Speaker 4: So don't you.
- 13:18Speaker 2: Worry, Okay, yeah, because they're going to be gone. Some
- 13:21Speaker 2: are gone obviously, the like on the two gray haired
- 13:25Speaker 2: gentlemen and Philip.
- 13:29Speaker 5: No, remember that's who they gave the bonus key to
- 13:32Speaker 5: the I loved hearing from Philip.
- 13:35Speaker 3: Wow he was now let's talk about him.
- 13:39Speaker 2: Yes, I mean to have the I'm surprised like that
- 13:43Speaker 2: he wasn't Gizelle's number one. But Giselle has to feel it.
- 13:47Speaker 2: She's said it, she said it from the jump. She's
- 13:49Speaker 2: got to feel that something that tickle and Philip wasn't
- 13:52Speaker 2: doing that for her, but him on that group date
- 13:57Speaker 2: with like just the slow rollout of his homes was phenomenal.
- 14:04Speaker 5: Yeah, I need to, Like, I'm very curious about his backstory.
- 14:08Speaker 4: Like now I'm like, let's get to know phil.
- 14:11Speaker 2: I loved getting to know that he was. He couldn't
- 14:16Speaker 2: have said it better about living in Los Angeles right, Emily, like,
- 14:20Speaker 2: as we live here, you know you do like when
- 14:24Speaker 2: Luanne comes here and says, I'm sorry, when Giselle comes
- 14:27Speaker 2: to the date and says, you know, what are all
- 14:30Speaker 2: these people doing in LA I mean, like get a job.
- 14:33Speaker 2: No one's working. Everything's just like out there flighting and
- 14:36Speaker 2: all this stuff. And yes, that is the vibe that
- 14:39Speaker 2: you're going to get when you're on vacation and you're
- 14:41Speaker 2: in these pockets. And for Philip to stand up to
- 14:46Speaker 2: that and say it's different, when you have the right community.
- 14:50Speaker 2: When I'm in my gated community at all.
- 14:53Speaker 5: Yeah, let me tell you, I don't live in a
- 14:57Speaker 5: gated community, but I still have lot us.
- 15:00Speaker 3: But he has a point.
- 15:01Speaker 2: You have found your community of people that aren't community
- 15:05Speaker 2: representative of the type of folks that he that Giselle
- 15:10Speaker 2: is referring to.
- 15:11Speaker 3: I found my people. You know.
- 15:13Speaker 2: It's it is what you make of it, and there
- 15:16Speaker 2: are normal people here that you can actually I'm.
- 15:20Speaker 5: Like, I will say Los Angeles is like not a
- 15:25Speaker 5: great city to vacation to, but it's it's the number
- 15:29Speaker 5: one city in the world I'd ever want to live in,
- 15:32Speaker 5: do you know what I mean. It's like, Wow, So
- 15:36Speaker 5: if you can come to LA and stay with the local,
- 15:39Speaker 5: that's the best way to do it, because it's an
- 15:41Speaker 5: amazing place. But when you come here for vacation and
- 15:44Speaker 5: you kind of stay where the hotels are and oh,
- 15:47Speaker 5: it's Hollywood City forever, it's not like that's been that.
- 15:51Speaker 4: Way always like watch Pretty Woman.
- 15:54Speaker 3: I mean, that's how you would big mistake.
- 16:00Speaker 5: But yeah, I'm just I was happy to hear. I mean,
- 16:05Speaker 5: and not even a gated community.
- 16:07Speaker 4: LA's great.
- 16:10Speaker 3: And you know, you.
- 16:11Speaker 2: Also have these offshoots of communities that may or may
- 16:14Speaker 2: not be closer to the city.
- 16:16Speaker 5: I don't know if you guys are familiar with Santa Clarita.
- 16:19Speaker 2: But I mean up here, I mean, it's just wonderful.
- 16:22Speaker 2: You know, you get the best of both worlds. You
- 16:24Speaker 2: have your own suburb and small town feel like a
- 16:27Speaker 2: Hallmark movie, and then you can go into the city
- 16:30Speaker 2: and have the best of everything.
- 16:32Speaker 5: But see, that's how I feel like where I live too,
- 16:34Speaker 5: because like I'm always a stone's throw from a target,
- 16:38Speaker 5: and to me, that's home, and so that's my suburb.
- 16:43Speaker 4: And then I can still walk everywhere. Ella's a very
- 16:45Speaker 4: walkable city. I walk everywhere.
- 16:47Speaker 2: So that gets you where you are, Yeah, where you are, yes,
- 16:51Speaker 2: But like, actually.
- 16:53Speaker 5: But I've walked to Beverly Hills from here, I've walked
- 16:56Speaker 5: across town.
- 16:57Speaker 2: Well, I mean, I mean, like Billboard speaking, La is
- 17:02Speaker 2: not a walkable town. You know, people should know that.
- 17:05Speaker 2: We don't want to misinform people, Emily Silver, I have
- 17:08Speaker 2: literally Felas is an incredibly walkable area. You're you're among
- 17:14Speaker 2: the minority of people who is gonna walk all the
- 17:17Speaker 2: way to Beverly Hills.
- 17:19Speaker 4: But I'm gonna walk to cat I walk to Hollywood.
- 17:22Speaker 4: I walk everywhere. I'm trying to.
- 17:24Speaker 3: Yeah, but you're one of the few.
- 17:28Speaker 4: And after this campaign, Amy.
- 17:31Speaker 5: People are gonna pig the streets that they are hitting
- 17:33Speaker 5: the streets. You gotta get your high biz fast, you
- 17:36Speaker 5: gotta get your head lamp. Philip and I we are
- 17:39Speaker 5: turning the idea of Los Angeles around.
- 17:42Speaker 2: No, Philip is not walking either, Emily. He is driving
- 17:45Speaker 2: into his CA catered community and he is staying there.
- 17:50Speaker 2: When we lived in Los Fela's Bratt used to take
- 17:53Speaker 2: used to walk to the subway system and take the subway.
- 17:56Speaker 2: You know, not many people do that, but we are
- 17:58Speaker 2: in a great area to do that. There are certain
- 18:01Speaker 2: pockets where it can be city like, but broad strokes,
- 18:08Speaker 2: you know, everyone is separated. So it's like, if you
- 18:11Speaker 2: got to go to Sherman Oaks, you're not going to
- 18:12Speaker 2: walk there if you have to. It's all separate areas.
- 18:16Speaker 2: And Emily, let.
- 18:17Speaker 5: Me also love you very Since Google, since you can
- 18:21Speaker 5: map walking, it will walk you on sidewalks and you
- 18:25Speaker 5: can GPS walk the walk on sidewalks, so that does
- 18:29Speaker 5: make it easier too. I will say I'm not just
- 18:31Speaker 5: walking out a like oh, I go I walk this
- 18:34Speaker 5: way and walk along the one oh one.
- 18:37Speaker 4: I like have GPS or you.
- 18:40Speaker 3: Wouldn't be with us today.
- 18:44Speaker 5: Yeah, anyway, this is a fascinating conversation about love.
- 18:47Speaker 2: Of Okay, so anyway, I love the Phillip shared that
- 18:52Speaker 2: he seems absolutely fascinating, and I thought it was funny
- 18:55Speaker 2: that she was like, do you get mistaken for one
- 18:57Speaker 2: of the Jackson's And He's like, yeah, I get into
- 19:00Speaker 2: parties that way sometimes.
- 19:02Speaker 5: What did on that living again, I don't remember, but
- 19:07Speaker 5: he has that If I saw him, I would think
- 19:09Speaker 5: he was a producer.
- 19:11Speaker 3: Yeah, like carries himself.
- 19:13Speaker 5: Yeah, yeah, I could see him at a party and
- 19:15Speaker 5: I'd be like, he like owns William Morris.
- 19:18Speaker 4: I think you know what I mean, Like he just
- 19:20Speaker 4: has that vibe.
- 19:21Speaker 2: Now, another thing that I thought was really funny. Okay,
- 19:24Speaker 2: so during Gizelle's date with Ralph, because she got Ralph,
- 19:30Speaker 2: Shannon picked Ralph for her date, and so did Luanne.
- 19:33Speaker 2: But Ralph got to pick who he wanted and he
- 19:36Speaker 2: went with Gizelle. So they seemed to be getting along great.
- 19:40Speaker 2: I really liked them together. But I loved how Ralph
- 19:43Speaker 2: was like, listen, if you haven't taken any bumps, then
- 19:46Speaker 2: you're not my people. You know, if you even had
- 19:48Speaker 2: like a rough life or you haven't lived life, you're
- 19:51Speaker 2: not my people. And I could just imagine Shannon in
- 19:54Speaker 2: the background being like, I've taken bumps, Ralph, I excuse me,
- 19:59Speaker 2: I tried to choose you. I've taken bumps. I mean
- 20:04Speaker 2: I would say I'd taken the most bumps. And I
- 20:06Speaker 2: had a big bump recently when I.
- 20:09Speaker 3: Ran into a planter. So can we talk? So I
- 20:14Speaker 3: just thought that was really really funny.
- 20:18Speaker 2: Yeah. And then the other thing is that I loved
- 20:23Speaker 2: the Gizelle. Both Gazelle and Ashley asked their dates have
- 20:27Speaker 2: you ever dated a black woman? And we've seen this
- 20:29Speaker 2: in other franchises as well, when when they've gone on
- 20:31Speaker 2: dates or something, And I just I love the conversation.
- 20:34Speaker 2: I love that they just come out and say it,
- 20:36Speaker 2: and it's always an interesting Oh my god, I lost Emily. Okay,
- 20:43Speaker 2: we lost each other for a second, but we're back.
- 20:45Speaker 2: We'll see how this goes, but we are wrapping it
- 20:47Speaker 2: up anyway, Emily. So, but I do want to mention
- 20:50Speaker 2: about that have you ever dated a Black woman?
- 20:52Speaker 3: And I love that.
- 20:56Speaker 2: The tich lists Ashley asking Jerry and Gary and Nick,
- 21:01Speaker 2: and he was like, go.
- 21:02Speaker 3: Ahead, go ahead.
- 21:08Speaker 4: Yeah. Also that he was like, have you ever dated
- 21:12Speaker 4: a white guy?
- 21:12Speaker 5: And I was like, wow, he really is fresh off
- 21:16Speaker 5: this that he has no idea about Ashley.
- 21:18Speaker 2: I know, and her laugh was hysterical. I did feel
- 21:22Speaker 2: like inadvertently she made him feel very stupid because he's like,
- 21:26Speaker 2: what did I do?
- 21:27Speaker 3: What did I say?
- 21:28Speaker 2: You know, but it did sound it sounded egotistical. I
- 21:34Speaker 2: know that it wasn't, but she's like, it's just so
- 21:36Speaker 2: funny because I'm used to talking to people that already
- 21:39Speaker 2: know me, you know. I mean, it was an awkward,
- 21:42Speaker 2: awkward moment, but I get it. It just was really,
- 21:46Speaker 2: really weird, and it is so funny to see these
- 21:49Speaker 2: women talking again to people who have no idea who
- 21:51Speaker 2: they are.
- 21:52Speaker 3: And I absolutely love that.
- 21:54Speaker 4: Yeah, that it feels legit.
- 21:56Speaker 5: I mean, coming off of watching vandr Pump Villa, where
- 21:59Speaker 5: we're not even sure where the side of the pool
- 22:01Speaker 5: is in reality, so like, is there even a pool there?
- 22:06Speaker 4: I don't know that could be cgi.
- 22:08Speaker 5: Yeah, this feels much more like real and I enjoying that.
- 22:15Speaker 2: I am absolutely loving it. And he did say no,
- 22:20Speaker 2: I've never dated a black woman, and I thought, well,
- 22:24Speaker 2: does that mean you've slept with.
- 22:25Speaker 3: A black woman?
- 22:25Speaker 2: Like I didn't know exactly what that meant, but whatever.
- 22:29Speaker 2: And then Gary's like, oh, yeah, I did a black
- 22:32Speaker 2: woman in high school. Her name was Angel, and I
- 22:40Speaker 2: love that. Walle delivered the note to Ashley during the
- 22:43Speaker 2: date and it was super cute, and I coach Lou
- 22:46Speaker 2: because Coach.
- 22:47Speaker 4: Lou was in there.
- 22:49Speaker 2: Okay, how funny was that when she went back and
- 22:54Speaker 2: they were laughing, and she's.
- 22:55Speaker 3: Like, see, I uped your game.
- 22:56Speaker 2: I elevated your game and he's like you did, and
- 22:59Speaker 2: then she goes, so, now all you have to do
- 23:01Speaker 2: is just go find her lipstick and put it on
- 23:04Speaker 2: and kiss the mirror.
- 23:06Speaker 3: I'm like, what the flue are you talking about? Right now?
- 23:13Speaker 5: From best advice to like, now I'm gonna make it
- 23:17Speaker 5: so weird that Ashley doesn't know which weighs up with you.
- 23:21Speaker 5: So go put on her underwear and walk.
- 23:24Speaker 2: Around right now, I'm with I'm sorry to say this,
- 23:26Speaker 2: I'm with my grandmother who has dementia, who just flipped
- 23:29Speaker 2: and now isn't making any sense, and we're on this
- 23:32Speaker 2: ride together. Like I did not know and then also
- 23:36Speaker 2: I found it really funny during that date when it
- 23:39Speaker 2: was Luanne and.
- 23:43Speaker 3: Mark and Wile.
- 23:46Speaker 2: Yeah, and so will as like, yeah, I really like
- 23:50Speaker 2: Ashley and he goes, She's I like Ashley, She's really
- 23:54Speaker 2: sweet and who's putting together her outfits?
- 23:57Speaker 3: She always looks amazing.
- 24:00Speaker 5: Okay, what what.
- 24:04Speaker 2: What just happened there? What just happened there? What just
- 24:07Speaker 2: happened there? I just want it noted. I just want
- 24:09Speaker 2: it noted because honestly, part of me is thinking that
- 24:14Speaker 2: that Luanne and Walle have had that there's a lot
- 24:18Speaker 2: of like outtakes and there's a lot of imp improvit.
- 24:21Speaker 2: Oh my god, I improvise for a living and have
- 24:24Speaker 2: for years, and can't even say there's a lot of
- 24:27Speaker 2: improvisation that's happening with them for alternate takes in these scenes,
- 24:32Speaker 2: Like I think that they're totally organic, but my mind
- 24:37Speaker 2: went to and I think they've got hilarious chemistry and
- 24:40Speaker 2: they're playing off of each other in both of those moments.
- 24:43Speaker 3: Why those two things were super.
- 24:45Speaker 2: Weird and oh yeah, right right right, you know, like
- 24:49Speaker 2: they were like okay, just say Wile, if you can
- 24:51Speaker 2: just say again to make it clear that you really
- 24:55Speaker 2: do like Ashley, and he's like okay again, like he's
- 24:58Speaker 2: not used to this, so he's like, okay, right, Yeah,
- 25:00Speaker 2: I mean, who's putting together her outfits? I mean she's great,
- 25:02Speaker 2: she's so sweet, she's amazing. Like part of me thinks
- 25:05Speaker 2: that he's super duper funny. Yeah, and Lou's really funny too.
- 25:10Speaker 2: When these were just they were just throwing shit at
- 25:13Speaker 2: the wall and she was actually not really being serious
- 25:16Speaker 2: with the lipstick thing.
- 25:17Speaker 5: Oh you know, that's a great point because it was
- 25:20Speaker 5: just so Yeah, now that I get that vibe, now
- 25:22Speaker 5: that you're saying it, yeah, I can totally see that vibe.
- 25:25Speaker 3: But I don't like I love it.
- 25:27Speaker 2: I think it's hilarious that they took that and kept
- 25:30Speaker 2: it made it just because it just goes to show
- 25:32Speaker 2: what you can do with editing. And they were totally
- 25:34Speaker 2: goofing around and yeah, oh, oh my god. One more thing, Emily,
- 25:39Speaker 2: when Earle says to the guy's group and Shannon's in
- 25:41Speaker 2: the middle, do you want to go out on the
- 25:43Speaker 2: hill And Shannon starts to say yeah, because she thinks
- 25:47Speaker 2: that he's gonna pull her aside, and he goes.
- 25:49Speaker 3: As a group, and then she's like I love that
- 25:55Speaker 3: we're a group.
- 25:58Speaker 2: I was so dead like that was so funny, so funny,
- 26:02Speaker 2: and Jay's like, no, if you want to go alone
- 26:04Speaker 2: or whatever, like, oh no, Emily is so frozen, and
- 26:10Speaker 2: she's frozen in the cutest picture you guys having to
- 26:13Speaker 2: leave her there, and I'll just wrap this up and
- 26:15Speaker 2: just say I can't stop looking at her. Oh my god,
- 26:19Speaker 2: this is so funny. She's like a wax figure. Nick
- 26:22Speaker 2: is was a diamond dealer and he's now into crypto.
- 26:25Speaker 2: Can you say, run as fast as you can? Like
- 26:30Speaker 2: that's that is a red flag to me. I'm terrified.
- 26:34Speaker 2: And then he says like I love a beautiful smile
- 26:37Speaker 2: and a fat ass.
- 26:38Speaker 3: Okay, alrighty.
- 26:42Speaker 2: Anyway, and then could Nick say anymore the word cock blog?
- 26:47Speaker 2: Because like when they went back to the hotel, it
- 26:49Speaker 2: was like zombies coming out of their crips. Not this
- 26:53Speaker 2: is not ages, and I'm not I am not slamming
- 26:56Speaker 2: the ladies for being, you know, of a certain age.
- 26:59Speaker 2: It just was like Ashley was being walked back to
- 27:02Speaker 2: her room by Nick and then out comes to Zelle
- 27:05Speaker 2: and that was kind of cute. But then all of
- 27:07Speaker 2: a sudden we see like Shannon pop out and she's like, hey,
- 27:11Speaker 2: I what's happening? And then lou is like slowly, all
- 27:15Speaker 2: of a sudden, in the middle of the hallway, going
- 27:17Speaker 2: down the hall, like really slowly in her robe, and
- 27:19Speaker 2: she's like, what's happening? And I was like, Okay, this
- 27:22Speaker 2: is an episode of the zombie show Zombies.
- 27:26Speaker 3: What is it called?
- 27:27Speaker 2: On AMC. I used to watch it for a long time.
- 27:30Speaker 2: It's anyway, you know show I'm talking about, And yeah,
- 27:37Speaker 2: I think that's pretty much it. I loved it. I
- 27:39Speaker 2: absolutely loved it. So these men left the hotel, Mark,
- 27:43Speaker 2: Gary and Nick, and then they picked Philip to stay.
- 27:48Speaker 2: And I loved Ashley's end line where she was like,
- 27:53Speaker 2: I wish I could say that, you know, Wally and
- 27:56Speaker 2: I have a cerebral connection and an emotional connection, but
- 28:00Speaker 2: that's not it. My koochie picked him to stay in
- 28:02Speaker 2: the Love Hotel. And I was like, yes, I love
- 28:05Speaker 2: this show, you guys, it's so fun. All right, well,
- 28:08Speaker 2: thank you so much for listening. And Emily is now
- 28:11Speaker 2: an apparition in the ether. Okay, I have a great day.
- 28:16Speaker 2: Darling Spye Drama, Darling.
- 28:23Speaker 1: Drama, Darling Drama, Darling
