- 0:00Welcome to World View Matters, discussing controversial issues, discerning current events,
- 0:10defending biblical Christianity.
- 0:13No topic, off limits.
- 0:16And now, here's your host, David Fierazzo.
- 0:19Hello, guys and gals, thank you again for tuning into the show and for sharing on social
- 0:24media.
- 0:25We're somewhat censored, shadow band suppressed, you know, the truth is suppressed, right?
- 0:30But thank you guys for subscribing at worldviewmatters.tv.
- 0:33You're going to talk to Pastor Dan Fisher today, got a couple books to talk about in a couple
- 0:37topics, but I want to let you know a little bit about his background.
- 0:41He's been preaching and pastoring for about 45 years while serving as a full-time pastor
- 0:47get this.
- 0:48He also served two terms in the Oklahoma legislature and then ran for governor.
- 0:54He's a glutton for punishment, of course.
- 0:56He presently serves as co-paster of Fairview Baptist Church, Edmund, Oklahoma, with a fellow
- 1:02Patriot pastor and troublemaker for the kingdom, Paul Blair.
- 1:06Dan also travels and presents bringing back the black robed regiment.
- 1:11It's a presentation where he tells the story, it's amazing, the 18th century Patriot
- 1:17pastors who led the men of their congregations and communities off to fight for liberty in
- 1:24our war of independence.
- 1:26So we'll talk a little bit about that story and that forgotten history as well.
- 1:30And Dan Fisher, welcome to worldviewmatters, brother, good to see you.
- 1:34David, it's good to be with you.
- 1:36Thank you for having me.
- 1:37Yep, it's been a while.
- 1:39Now we met two or three years ago at a Liberty pastors conference in Dallas, Texas and
- 1:46I went to another one in Edmund.
- 1:50Tell us a little bit about how people can get their pastors information on these training
- 1:55camps.
- 1:56Oh, yeah.
- 1:57Yeah.
- 1:58And we do call them training camps, David, because what we do is we teach the nuts and bolts
- 2:04of how pastors can become modern day black robed preachers.
- 2:08I'm sure we'll get into what that means in a little while.
- 2:11We believe that the time for pepper alleys has passed and it is time for us to get pastors
- 2:18engaged and they need the nuts and bolts of how to do that.
- 2:22So that's what these camps are.
- 2:23They can go to LibertyPasters.com and find out all about it.
- 2:27In fact, as we record this, we are doing a Liberty pastors training camp in Plymouth, Michigan,
- 2:34as we speak.
- 2:35So we're training about 100 pastors and their wives right there in Michigan.
- 2:40So go to LibertyPasters.com and then find out all about the Liberty pastors training
- 2:45camps.
- 2:46And they're wonderful guys.
- 2:47If you can get your pastor there, my pastor from DePiro, Wisconsin went just, it'll change
- 2:53your perspective on how the church needs to get back into engaging the culture.
- 3:00That's why we've lost so much influence.
- 3:01The church is backed out.
- 3:03You've got one coming up in Hershey, Pennsylvania, November 5 through 8, is there anything else
- 3:08we can tell people about?
- 3:09Of course, we're going to send them to LibertyPasters.org, but anything else, Dan?
- 3:14Yeah.
- 3:15Well, I think it's LibertyPasters.com.
- 3:18Okay.
- 3:19LibertyPasters.com.
- 3:20Yeah.
- 3:21Great.
- 3:22And the main thing is pastors don't need to be cheered up or impressed anymore.
- 3:27They need to be trained.
- 3:29And so these are training camps.
- 3:31These guys come away from these camps knowing what to do, steps to take, how to become a
- 3:35modern day bike road preacher.
- 3:37So that's why that's so important.
- 3:39Okay.
- 3:40Let's bring up Dan's other book, Unlimited Submission, and bring up the book cover.
- 3:45You'll notice the question mark, Unlimited Submission with a question mark.
- 3:51This was a big topic, Dan Fisher, in 2020.
- 3:55When our government said the church in America is non-essential, and you must shut down,
- 4:01you can only have so many people worship.
- 4:03You had to stay social distanced.
- 4:06Why was that a problem?
- 4:09Can you, I know, you wrote a whole book on it, but can you explain, in the limited time
- 4:12we have here, how important is it for the church to say no?
- 4:16This church was under the authority of Jesus Christ, not a secular government.
- 4:21Yeah.
- 4:22Yeah, that's right.
- 4:23Well, the problem is, for years, pastors have taught that Paul teaches in Romans 13 that
- 4:29we are to roll over and pretty much play dead.
- 4:32Whatever the government says, we're supposed to submit.
- 4:35And the truth is, that's only to proper government, but when government becomes improper, or
- 4:41as Thomas Jefferson said in the declaration, when it ceases to protect our liberties and
- 4:46our rights, we not only have a right, we have a responsibility to stand up and say no.
- 4:51So I wrote that book to try to encourage pastors and Christians to understand we do not
- 4:56owe unlimited submission to our government.
- 4:59So you take the COVID thing, which they're trying to roll out again, and they were trying
- 5:04to shove the church down.
- 5:05Of course, you go to Walmart, you could go to Home Depot, you could go to Lowe's, you
- 5:08could get an abortion, just can't go to church.
- 5:11So we got to stand up.
- 5:13We've got to say no.
- 5:16So by the way, guys, I can't emphasize LibertyPasters.com enough, but I bring that up, Dan Fisher, because
- 5:23I came up with an article, a lot of this articles in the last couple of weeks, the FDA has
- 5:28okayed a new coronavirus vaccine as what they call respiratory illness season nears.
- 5:35So they're going to find a name for it, they're going to find an excuse, they're going
- 5:38to use it to control.
- 5:40This is all about controlling the population, and I'll tell you, they use fear, fear, fear,
- 5:44and the media is too happy to do their work.
- 5:47Tell us about your concerns about this, and how Christians respond.
- 5:52Yeah, well, here's the amazing thing, David, isn't it, isn't it surprising that the
- 5:57normal flu disappeared during the COVID period of time?
- 6:00Yeah.
- 6:01You didn't have any flu cases.
- 6:02That's right.
- 6:03Well, that's because, that's because the coronavirus, I mean, COVID is a coronavirus.
- 6:09It's the same family as the common cold and the common flu.
- 6:11My son's a physician, and you've done enough research.
- 6:15You've had, I'm sure, guests on your program, they're just playing trick with us.
- 6:19Yeah, is COVID dangerous for some people?
- 6:22Yes, just like pneumonia and the common flu can be dangerous to people with respiratory
- 6:27problems.
- 6:29But we shouldn't treat it like any other disease.
- 6:31It's certainly not Ebola or something like that.
- 6:34And the reason why this is such a danger is people have now been conditioned to give up
- 6:38their rights for some perceived safety.
- 6:42And our framers said, if you're willing to do that, you deserve neither.
- 6:46You neither deserve freedom or safety.
- 6:49So the modern church has got to relearn the lessons of the 18th century, or we're going
- 6:53to be living under tyranny.
- 6:54In fact, I would argue we're under soft tyranny right now.
- 6:57We're going to lose our liberties.
- 6:58The church is going to be driven underground.
- 7:01You know, that's not an exaggeration what you just said.
- 7:05Because really for all practical purposes, generally the church in America has been driven,
- 7:10not underground, but behind church walls.
- 7:13Yes.
- 7:15They at least allowed us to express our faith and live freely in our culture.
- 7:20But now they get offended.
- 7:22So they say, no, you can't even say that stay behind church walls.
- 7:25You shouldn't be influencing government.
- 7:27And that's what you guys are about getting pastors to understand, you know, throw out your
- 7:32former ideas of what the Johnson Amendment are limiting the churches to do and get back
- 7:38involved.
- 7:39Share your thoughts on that, Dan.
- 7:41And that's why that's why they've ceased calling it freedom of religion.
- 7:45And now they're calling it freedom of worship because worship is what you do inside the
- 7:50building in their minds.
- 7:51Good point.
- 7:52And so, so most certainly, and you know, here's the deal about the Johnson Amendment.
- 7:58It's nonsense.
- 8:00Pastors are not churches.
- 8:01They're not 501 C3s.
- 8:03They don't check their liberties at the door when they step in the open.
- 8:07Pastors need to speak out.
- 8:09And by the way, the IRS has never shut down one church because of political speech,
- 8:14not 10 or 12, 100, not one.
- 8:18We're just afraid of a paper tiger.
- 8:20We need to grow a spine and realize that liberty must be defended and become bold and
- 8:25quit being such sissies.
- 8:28I love it.
- 8:29I love it.
- 8:30We need to grow a spine.
- 8:32That's for all believers.
- 8:33But for men that are that purport to lead their congregations, yes.
- 8:38We need more of a backbone.
- 8:39We've got to lose this cruise ship mentality and realize if they haven't checked the culture
- 8:44and checked Hollywood and checked the transgender movement and the perversion that's going on
- 8:49in our country and realize we're in a battle.
- 8:51We're in a lot of trouble out of the ship.
- 8:53Yeah.
- 8:54That's right.
- 8:55The church, the old ship of Zion is a battleship, not a cruise ship.
- 8:58Yeah.
- 8:59And we see from a lot of the polls that Barna and Pew and Gallup and all the others, the
- 9:04biblical world view continues to decline decade out of decade.
- 9:09Yes.
- 9:10Yeah.
- 9:11Because preachers aren't addressing it.
- 9:13I mean, if you don't, if you don't teach the congregation in a couple of generations,
- 9:16you have biblically illiterate people that don't know what Christians are supposed to
- 9:21be.
- 9:22And they certainly won't be warriors.
- 9:23As Paul says, fight the good fight is a good soldier of Jesus, not as a good Sunday
- 9:28spiritual student, not as a sissy, not as some politically correct immaterial, irrelevant
- 9:35faith person.
- 9:36We're soldiers of the cross and we need to live life.
- 9:40So Dan, what would you say to someone who is a little uncomfortable thinking that pastors
- 9:46are addressing, quote, political issues?
- 9:49What's the difference between a political issue like they call murdering preborn babies
- 9:53and mothers, wombs, that's political to some people and a moral issue or biblical?
- 9:58Well, there's no difference.
- 10:01All of these are biblical issues.
- 10:03I mean, when, when did the murder of the preborn become a political issue?
- 10:06That's a moral issue.
- 10:07It's called murder.
- 10:08The Bible has much to say about premeditated murder.
- 10:12Everything today that is being called political, I would argue, David, it's not political
- 10:17at all.
- 10:18It's biblical.
- 10:20These are moral issues.
- 10:21And, you know, our framers understood it.
- 10:23This is why they emphasized that only a moral culture can govern themselves through
- 10:28a republic and they were so concerned that the church would be limited because they knew
- 10:34that the culture would only be moral if the church was active and engaged.
- 10:39So this is why they honored the Bible, this, I'm not saying they were all Christians,
- 10:44but they honored the Bible and they wanted to ensure that the church would be unencumbered
- 10:48because without the gospel, you're going to have an immoral culture and if you have an
- 10:52immoral culture, they can't govern themselves because they can't govern themselves internally.
- 10:57This is why Benjamin Franklin said the more immoral people become, the more vicious they
- 11:02become, the more they have need of masters and they understood this principle.
- 11:06We've forgotten it today because it's not being taught in the pulpits.
- 11:08Amen.
- 11:09Wasn't it John Adams who said our constitution was made only for a moral and religious people.
- 11:16It is wholly inadequate for the governing of any others.
- 11:19I paraphrased it.
- 11:20Wasn't that Adams?
- 11:21It said that.
- 11:22That's almost exactly right.
- 11:23Yeah.
- 11:24That's John Adams.
- 11:25Yeah.
- 11:26And when they said religious, David, as you know, they didn't mean Buddhists.
- 11:29They didn't mean Islam.
- 11:30Yes.
- 11:31Yes.
- 11:32They meant Christian.
- 11:33They meant Christian.
- 11:34Yeah.
- 11:35They just didn't want to emphasize any particular denomination.
- 11:38But if you go through and look at the history of our country, go beyond the framers.
- 11:43You can go into the 1840s and 50s and our own Congress was trying to determine whether
- 11:49or not it was unconstitutional to pay chaplains, Christian chaplains with public funds.
- 11:55And they understood that we were set aside to be a Christian nation just not to emphasize
- 12:01any one denomination.
- 12:03And for those that don't want to be Christian, that's fine.
- 12:05But we're going to operate by Christian principles and that's what they meant.
- 12:10And we've gotten completely away from that.
- 12:13And of course, you can see the results who would want what we have today.
- 12:17You can't even safely walk in the streets.
- 12:19In some cities, it's all right to rob stores as long as you don't steal the equivalent
- 12:25of $1,000.
- 12:26If you keep it below a thousand bucks, you can make $999 a day on eBay selling stolen stuff
- 12:33from stores.
- 12:34That's why they're pulling out of these cities.
- 12:36I mean, good grief.
- 12:37Who couldn't have figured that out?
- 12:40This is prophetic.
- 12:41Lawlessness will increase.
- 12:44That's what we're seeing.
- 12:45Yes.
- 12:46But it really is disturbing Dan.
- 12:47I mean, we got to take a break, but it's disturbing when those who are supposedly the
- 12:52law enforcers, law enforcement, they're not going after the people that are breaking
- 12:57the laws.
- 12:58We saw that during COVID and billions of dollars worth of damage across the country and
- 13:01our cities.
- 13:02But we've got to take a break.
- 13:03Back with Pastor Dan Fisher, we're going to get into the history of the black robed
- 13:08regimen.
- 13:09And I've got a little survey here that came up.
- 13:11I want to get Dan's take on this only only 34% of people believe that Joe Biden would
- 13:17actually complete a second term in Oval Office, though they're wondering about his age.
- 13:23So I mean, we'll talk about polls and the black robed regimen when we come back on World
- 13:27View Matters.
- 13:29Today's show is brought to you by Harbinger's Daily.
- 13:32The world news biblically understood, stay informed at Harbinger's Daily dot com.
- 13:46Okay, Dan Fisher, let's get this one out of the way because this is going to be fun
- 13:50just to hear your take on this.
- 13:51Over at the Washington Examiner, only 34% of voters believe Biden would make it to the
- 13:58end of a second term if he would be elected because he is the oldest president now.
- 14:02And if reelected, he would be 86 at the end of a second term.
- 14:07Now you can put a puppet in there and they might as well have one in there now because
- 14:11he is just he's controlled by puppet masters.
- 14:15So your thoughts on this.
- 14:16I mean, to me, these are meaningless polls because of course, you know, if he gets reelected
- 14:21one thing, God help us because he's not running the country anyway.
- 14:25Other people are your thoughts.
- 14:27Yeah, well, you put someone in there that's older than dirt.
- 14:31It's not surprising that people don't think that he's going to live to complete a second term.
- 14:35I'm surprised he can even move.
- 14:38He is a placeholder.
- 14:40They even know that he actually is a puppet.
- 14:42Now, he's he's a lefty always has been, but he's just a guy in there that they can manipulate.
- 14:49We have a shadow government running his country and they're trying to set this thing up
- 14:53for Kamala to be the first female president about, you know, a year into his second term.
- 14:59And this is just a setup.
- 15:01And until we figure this out and realize these people are not to be trusted.
- 15:07And they hate the Republic and they want to destroy it.
- 15:09Until we figure that out and act accordingly, we're going to be duped just constantly.
- 15:14Yeah.
- 15:15By the way, friends, you want to hear about Kamala a little bit more than what you didn't
- 15:19know.
- 15:20The interview last week, I think it was with Trevor Loudon talking about the Chinese Communist Party ties to Kamala Harris
- 15:27and a little bit about her background that hardly anybody knows.
- 15:29But that's for another time.
- 15:31Dan, a lot of people aren't aware of our history.
- 15:34Sad to say that public schools don't teach it.
- 15:38Our books have been that they've been edited, rewritten.
- 15:41And even Christians in the church don't understand the rich history of some bold patriot pastors that led their congregations.
- 15:49Not only by preaching the word on Sundays, but then they grabbed a gun and went out and fought.
- 15:55If it weren't for them, some say we wouldn't even have the America we have today.
- 16:00Share what you go around doing these presentations on the Black Robed Regiment.
- 16:06Well, I completely agree, David.
- 16:09We would not have the America we know today.
- 16:12We're not for that generation of 18 century pastors that took a stand.
- 16:17You know, they took that stand long before when you go back to the first grade awakening.
- 16:21You have some of the greatest preachers in our history.
- 16:23They're engaged in the war of independence when it comes along.
- 16:27In fact, you can find phrases and sentences in most of our official documents from those days lifted right out of their sermons.
- 16:37I mean, Benjamin Franklin was a huge supporter of George Whitfield, one of the fiery preachers of the first grade awakening.
- 16:44So these men have been preaching these principles, guys like Peter Mulemberg were serving in government.
- 16:50John Witherspoon was a Presbyterian preacher president of what became Princeton University.
- 16:56He was a member of the Continental Congress.
- 16:58All of these guys were engaged.
- 17:01And so when they pushed for independence, they knew it could very well mean you have to defend these liberties.
- 17:08And when the time came, they were willing to do it.
- 17:10They were reluctant, but they did it anyway.
- 17:13You shared information in your presentation and it may have been your book.
- 17:17But I think it was in your presentation about one of the pastors was at Mulemberg or no, it was one of them that was actually.
- 17:25They were he was in a battle right outside his church.
- 17:27Who was that Kentucky?
- 17:29Well, that would have been Jonas Clark.
- 17:32He that's in Lexington.
- 17:33That's the battle of Lexington Jonas Clark was the pastor of the church in Lexington.
- 17:38And along with the Deacon named Captain John Parker veteran of the French Indian more.
- 17:42They trained those guys how to fight and they're the ones who made the famous first stand at the Battle of Lexington.
- 17:47Basically in the church yard of Jonas Clark's church.
- 17:51Phenomenal history that so many people aren't aware of.
- 17:55So you tell the story and you also have a DVD that's available.
- 18:00Dan, is that right?
- 18:00Where can people get that?
- 18:02Yeah, they if they'll go to Dan Fisher,
- 18:05they can find my book on the black regiment, which goes into great detail, very heavily researched.
- 18:13They can find my unlimited submission on Romans 13 and they can also find our doctor drama, which is well done by a professional film company that kind of gives a 30,000
- 18:25view of the story of the church of the 18th century and these black robe guys for those who might not want to read the book.
- 18:32So they just go to Dan Fisher BRR.com.
- 18:35They can get it.
- 18:36Pick it right up.
- 18:37It's on it.
- 18:38It's in our bookstore there.
- 18:39Yeah, keep keep those images on the screen, Jeff, because it's going to get to one where I think Dan's in his gear when he's doing his presentation.
- 18:46That's from that's from the website right there.
- 18:48Dan Fisher BRR.com.
- 18:51Was he a pastor?
- 18:52Yeah, he was one of the pastors there.
- 18:54There's he in the DVD was saying goodbye to his wife before he went out to fight.
- 19:00And Dan, people don't realize they didn't have the internet back then.
- 19:05They didn't have iPhones.
- 19:07They didn't have television.
- 19:09They didn't have radio.
- 19:10How did people find out that a war was upon them and that if they didn't fight, they could lose their freedom?
- 19:17How do these people find out?
- 19:19They didn't have Starbucks or coffee shops.
- 19:21They had the churches, small communities and churches across New England.
- 19:26Tell us about that.
- 19:28Well, David, the church was the center of the culture in those days.
- 19:32The church was normally right in the center of town.
- 19:35And the pastor was normally the most informed person there.
- 19:38You take, for instance, Peter Mulemberg and Woodstock Virginia.
- 19:41He's serving in the Virginia House of Burgesses with George Washington and Patrick Henry.
- 19:46Good grief. He's right in the middle of things.
- 19:48He's like watching Fox News, but if they were more conservative.
- 19:53But I mean, he's telling them everything that's going on and he's with those guys.
- 19:57So they're learning from their pastors, plus they had what we're called committees of correspondence where for 10 years they had been setting up kind of a shadow parallel government where they could communicate with each other.
- 20:10So they had committees of safety committees of correspondence.
- 20:13So they're communicating back and forth unlike the modern church that goes off into its own corner protects its own turf won't work with anybody.
- 20:21It's us for a no more for I've got my kingdom.
- 20:25I'm going to try to build the biggest church in my community.
- 20:27So I can be a big shot.
- 20:29Very different from what was going on in the 18th century.
- 20:33Yeah, and from time to time on some of these shows, we talk about how not only the churches have changed, but there are reasons for that.
- 20:40Even the seminaries have changed a lot of them dropped the belief in the inerrancy of scripture.
- 20:46Once you surrender on an air and see now they're teaching about church growth and how to really entertain to get people to come.
- 20:54But then why the problem there when you start going down that seeker sensitive road.
- 20:58You guys you and Paul at Fairview Baptist Church in Edmund, Oklahoma.
- 21:02The furthest thing from from seeker sensitive and God bless you for having a backbone and a spine for preaching the whole council of God all these years.
- 21:11Tell us your concerns, Dan, about what you've seen, what you know about the seminaries, the movement in America where.
- 21:18Yeah, we they're big personalities as pastors. They're very entertaining, but they're not equipping the saints.
- 21:27Well, David, in my opinion, most churches are bastard by hirelings.
- 21:31Remember what Jesus said about hirelings.
- 21:33They only watch the sheep for a paycheck.
- 21:36And when predator comes along, they abandon the sheep to save their own hide.
- 21:41We need actual shepherds.
- 21:43Instead of being seeker sensitive, how about we be holy spirit sensitive?
- 21:47How about we be sensitive to what God wants rather than what either carnal Christians or unsafe people want?
- 21:54I thought it was we who needed to conform to scripture and to God rather than God and scripture conforming to us.
- 22:01So we're really not into the seeker sensitive thing that we want people to be comfortable.
- 22:05We want people to feel wanted and welcome and do everything we can do to make that happen.
- 22:10But it's kind of interesting. It's not my job as a pastor to build the church.
- 22:14If you read Matthew 18, Jesus said, this is my church. I'll build my church. You just feed my sheep.
- 22:20I'll build my church.
- 22:22So a pastor is not even supposed to be building a church. It's not his church.
- 22:26And he's not supposed to be supposed to be building. He's supposed to be leading it.
- 22:29Yes.
- 22:30And it's killing us, David. The fact that modern pastors want to dress these issues.
- 22:36They're not following the example set by our ancestors.
- 22:42And so it's no surprise that we've lost much of our liberty.
- 22:48And I predict we're going to lose even more if the church does not awaken and lose this Hollywood approach to pastors being.
- 22:56Celebrity stars wear tight jeans and fog everywhere.
- 22:59I don't have a problem with fog. I live in fog most of my life.
- 23:03But you know, when we're trying, when we're trying to be showmen.
- 23:07Instead of profits.
- 23:09Man, we have missed the boat somewhere. Of course, you and I both know what it's all about.
- 23:13It's it's fame and money and I've got the biggest church.
- 23:17And I can sell the newest latest greatest book and five steps to be a better you and seven steps to be successful and all that kind of nonsense.
- 23:25How about four steps to the cross and how about seven ways to repent and get right before God?
- 23:30How about some things like that?
- 23:32Yeah.
- 23:33Preacher brother.
- 23:34By the way, I wanted to share we're down to under five minutes, but you said something I know it goes by fast.
- 23:40You can say something very important. And I thought the gates of hell will not prevail against the church.
- 23:47We are not to be running away from Satan with fiery darts in our backside.
- 23:51Are we we're supposed to be no attacking storming the gates of hell?
- 23:56That's not the devil in his minions storming the gates of heaven.
- 23:59That's not the depiction to get from scripture. Talk about that for a minute.
- 24:03Yeah.
- 24:04You know, normally when we read that passage, we have the church and the passive voice.
- 24:08Yeah.
- 24:09And the gates of hell and the active. It's actually the opposite.
- 24:12The gates of hell are in the passive. They're on defense.
- 24:15And the churches in the active voice.
- 24:18So the church is supposed to be assaulting the gates of hell, not trying to hold out till the end as the gates of hell beat us in the head.
- 24:27And and because we've taken such a squeamish yellow, in fact, I say that all the red brick churches and the white churches in America need to be painted yellow to match our cowardly pastors.
- 24:41I've been telling Paul, we need to come up with something I'm calling Spinomatic.
- 24:45It would be a box that you could buy your pastor for Christmas inside. It's a spring loaded spine.
- 24:51So when he opens it up at Christmas time, this spine kind of pops out.
- 24:55It'd be Spinomatic because most pastors need one. I mean, that that's where we are today.
- 25:01I mean, part of me wants to cry, but I'd rather laugh. That's got that's awesome. I think you should look into a trademark on that Dan.
- 25:09I mean, at this point, God bless the remnant of solid Bible believing churches and pastors who are standing.
- 25:21The Paul Blair, the Dan fishes, the Gary Hammers, the Steve's mothermans, and you can go on down the list. There's a lot of wonderful godly men. We need more.
- 25:31Let's talk to the layperson. Let's talk to the average Christian listening or watching and Dan speaks to them because it's not all on the pastor.
- 25:41No, it's not. The congregation has sat there and soaked in all this Pablo and milk.
- 25:48And Paul has a great deal to say about Christians that need to be off the milk and on the meat.
- 25:53So congregations need to lovingly demand that their pastors go beyond John 316 and begin to teach the whole council of God.
- 26:02You know, the gospel is more than just getting men and women on earth to heaven. It's also about getting heaven and men and women on the earth.
- 26:09And it is time for the church to live out the gospel. You know, there was a pastor in Chelsea, Massachusetts right outside of Boston in those days who didn't want to stand.
- 26:18But once Lexington happened, he grabbed a musket and grabbed his men and went and fought on the road leading from concrete back to Boston.
- 26:25That guy's name was Samuel Phillips Pason and it took just a little bit of shove till he did something and I'm just wondering what's what it's going to take for the modern church to wake up.
- 26:35And I'm fearing David that he's going to take some really hard times. Look at the history of Israel. You'll see it every time.
- 26:41We just keep repeating the same mistakes.
- 26:43There are some parallels there. Some of the most disturbing books in the whole Old Testament were not only they did what was right in their own eyes.
- 26:53But when Joshua's generation died, when Joshua died and the elders that survived him died, then a new generation came up that did not even know God.
- 27:03They didn't even know the law. Some of the most sad and just mind-blowing verses and scripture.
- 27:10So for you and Paul, you guys are doing a great work. You're trying to encourage and challenge and equip pastors to lead.
- 27:20How can people get more information is at LibertyPasters.com if they want to.
- 27:25And by the way, I like what you said about being respectful when you approach your pastor and say, please, we need to be equipped.
- 27:33Go ahead, share.
- 27:35Yeah. Well, they just need to love their pastor and be nice to him. And don't talk down to him.
- 27:40And encourage them to go to these camps and pay their way. It's only 99 bucks. We have donors subsidize everything.
- 27:47You've been, you know what you get for 99 dollars, unbelievable. Yes. So 99 dollars wouldn't touch it.
- 27:53Pay their way. Get them to go. I guarantee you they'll come back and change person.
- 27:57So I just want to clarify something. This is a three or four day event. It's typically at a very nice hotel or resort.
- 28:06And it's like you said, it's subsidized. So pastors only have to pay a hundred bucks and your airfare.
- 28:12And you've got a wonderful amazing training camp that you're going to go. I went, I came back to when I was a associate pastor at the time.
- 28:20I came back on fire. I came back ready to go. And I'll tell you, it was a catalyst in my life, Dan.
- 28:26I was feeling like a lone ranger. I was feeling like, is anyone else getting this? And then I found out about you guys.
- 28:32Oh, yeah. Yeah. Well, you know, the thing is David, the only reason we ask him to pay a hundred dollars actually 99 dollars is we found it if they don't have a little skin in the game.
- 28:42They cancel right at the last minute. But you know, if they've got 99 dollars in it, they show up. That's right. That's that's all it takes. All right.
- 28:50Hey, brother, I love you. Thank you for all the work you guys do. Lord willing. We'll talk to you or Paul again in the near future. So thanks, Dan.
- 28:58Hey, thanks for having me, David. Sorry about the internet, being in the choppy, but it's good to be with you, buddy.
- 29:03No problem. We could hear you just fine. Thank you. All right, guys. I just love the opportunities I have to speak with some amazing people on this show already in the new life of the show.
- 29:15I think we've not even been doing this a month. But tomorrow on World View Matters, a wonderful woman of God, stage four survivor of lung cancer.
- 29:25She went to Dallas theological seminary. God has her evangelizing now. Her name is Pam Walk or walk. You can look up her on Facebook. It's W-A-L-C-K.
- 29:38And she's got a book called Bridge of Love. It's available on Amazon. We're going to talk to Pam tomorrow on World View Matters.
- 29:46Thanks for your time for tuning in for sharing. God bless you. And as always, keep speaking the truth about things that matter.
