Derby’s rolling out a major safety overhaul for Rock Road, the city’s most crash-prone street, where 35-41% of all accidents occur—mostly rear-enders and left-turn mishaps. The city is creating a safety corridor from Freedom Street to Chet Smith Avenue, complete with new signage, increased police presence, and driver education campaigns.
