Risacher Joins Mavericks in Big Trade | Dallas Mavericks News
Dallas Mavericks pull off a savvy three-team trade to land top European talent Zaccharie Risacher, the 2024 No. 1 pick, after just two seasons with Atlanta. Risacher, who averaged 11.1 points and finished second in Rookie of the Year voting, brings international pedigree, EuroCup Rising Star honors, and a personal connection to Mavericks GM Mike Schmitz—who scouted him at just 16. With his father’s deep European basketball roots and a chance to find consistency in Dallas, Risacher is poised to become a key piece in the Mavericks’ rebuilding puzzle.
