- 0:33[SPEAKER_01]: We got Justin, audio only, he's in the middle of a thunderstorm, really bad one.
- 0:38[SPEAKER_01]: And then you got Kenny over here.
- 0:39[SPEAKER_01]: He's out of his house, he's at his sisters.

- 1:24[SPEAKER_01]: We're just going to kick everything off here, talking about this whole Deshawn Watson, Shador Sanders thing we've got.
- 1:30[SPEAKER_01]: This feels like a very concentrated effort in at least local media that Deshawn Watson's the runner, the front runner.
- 1:40[SPEAKER_01]: He's the guy that's got the heads up in the quarterback competition.
- 1:44[SPEAKER_01]: It's his job and all this stuff and Justin was making some really good points for we started recording and I said, hold up.
- 1:50[SPEAKER_01]: Hold that thought and now go.
- 1:53[SPEAKER_03]: All right, just all we were basically talking about was basically, and this really started a month ago.
- 2:01[SPEAKER_03]: Me and Josh and Kenny were literally doing a Discord show a month ago, and we said, what what happened basically that all of a sudden there's all this uncomfortability with Shidorah Sanders, all of a sudden he's, it's like he lost
- 2:14[SPEAKER_03]: Ability, you know, a talent, nothing, nothing has changed though from the last time we saw him then you walked off the field and we still have yet to see, you know, live reps to Sean Watson, we see the promo videos, we see the recovery stuff, you know, and
- 2:31[SPEAKER_03]: You know, he's trying to make the concentrated effort to get back to, you know, the NFL, not back to the NFL, but back to a starting caliber of, you know, position if he can.
- 2:40[SPEAKER_03]: It's just very strange to me that all of a sudden, you know, there's this effort almost to, you know, we're seeing the Sean Watson's name popping up a lot, just, you know, whether it's hey.
- 2:51[SPEAKER_03]: I hear people say, you know, do we think we can trade him?
- 2:54[SPEAKER_03]: I don't think that they're talking him up to trade him because the dead caps like 86 million dollars.
- 2:59[SPEAKER_03]: We're not doing that.
- 3:01[SPEAKER_03]: We're not trading to Sean Watson.
- 3:02[SPEAKER_03]: It's just I feel like the national media, especially we're in a weird law.
- 3:07[SPEAKER_03]: that Arizona meetings, the owner meetings are going on.
- 3:10[SPEAKER_03]: There's not a lot going on in this period of time.
- 3:13[SPEAKER_03]: And I feel like we have this law before the draft where we don't really have anything to talk about.
- 3:21[SPEAKER_03]: And this to me is just almost like a clickbait, kind of agenda to just get people talking about the situation.
- 3:29[SPEAKER_03]: To me, I think it's so clear cut from the fan, like as a fan, I'm like,
- 3:35[SPEAKER_03]: There's an obvious guy that we can lean into and take some stuff from last year into this year.
- 3:41[SPEAKER_03]: I watched the guy flash with a terrible offensive line, an offensive line that no, I don't think any quarterback in the league would be successful with.
- 3:50[SPEAKER_03]: I watched the guy try to make plays and sometimes make plays with guys that are not playmakers.
- 3:55[SPEAKER_03]: that are just known to be just whether it's drops or stuff like that.
- 4:00[SPEAKER_03]: I saw flashes.
- 4:02[SPEAKER_03]: We're we're making a concentrated effort.
- 4:04[SPEAKER_03]: It feels like with this team this year to get the line together potentially draft wide receivers and build weapons around this kid.
- 4:11[SPEAKER_03]: And the media saying that we're going to roll two to Sean Watson, who we haven't seen look good since Houston.
- 4:18[SPEAKER_03]: do we forget that we already did three or four years of this?
- 4:22[SPEAKER_03]: I don't understand it.
- 4:24[SPEAKER_03]: I don't understand it and then for us to continually keep talking about we're going to use the high pick, the number one pick for a quarterback.
- 4:31[SPEAKER_03]: It just blows my mind.
- 4:33[SPEAKER_03]: We didn't have the space or the reps last year to even figure out what we had.
- 4:37[SPEAKER_03]: Are we going to do this again?
- 4:39[SPEAKER_03]: Please don't do this.
- 4:40[SPEAKER_03]: Sorry.
- 4:41[SPEAKER_03]: Go ahead.
- 4:42[SPEAKER_03]: That is the speed a little bit.
- 4:44[SPEAKER_03]: It makes no sense to me.
- 4:46[SPEAKER_01]: That's good stuff, man.
- 4:47[SPEAKER_05]: Tell somebody was locked up with their kids all day, buddy.
- 4:49[SPEAKER_03]: Oh, sorry.
- 4:50[SPEAKER_03]: Well, we did go, did go to a museum for a few hours.
- 4:55[SPEAKER_03]: But not long enough apparently.
- 4:57[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, man.
- 4:58[SPEAKER_05]: I mean, I think I'll, I think all this started up really when Jimmy has them and it was at the annual meetings.
- 5:09[SPEAKER_05]: And I think it got things up kind of misquoted.
- 5:12[SPEAKER_05]: If you guys remember,
- 5:14[SPEAKER_05]: Jimmy House and said something about a swing in the mist last year and I think really what he was getting to getting at last year is it was a swing in the mist at that point, right?
- 5:23[SPEAKER_05]: The other thing, they clearly expected more, they, you know, nothing's worked out to that point.
- 5:30[SPEAKER_05]: And they just really needed to move forward from this guy and clearly they can't because of the size of the contract, right?
- 5:37[SPEAKER_05]: Now, I think Mary Kay basically said something along the lines from a swing and a miss to a home run.
- 5:43[SPEAKER_05]: I don't think he necessarily said that.
- 5:46[SPEAKER_05]: I think he's just being kind of diplomatic and saying, like, listen, we got this guy on our team.
- 5:51[SPEAKER_05]: There's a new coach.
- 5:53[SPEAKER_05]: There's a fresh start and a great chance.
- 5:55[SPEAKER_05]: But what did we say before this show started?
- 5:59[SPEAKER_05]: Get the IR Cleveland Browns fan up right now.
- 6:03[SPEAKER_05]: What do you want to do to talk about the Sean Watson and that is what has things just flipping and people flipping out right now I think and it goes back to what we said earlier is just silly season right now like the guy's going to come in he has a chance to play
- 6:19[SPEAKER_05]: He's in the room free right at this point and he's going to compete, but I think Sidor Sanders will be fine And I think Tim Hasselbach was talking about this a day or two ago as well Where the he hasn't made it through his season He hasn't played a full season or just 19 games in what four years like come on man like four years is a long time five years in the long time And not to play in the NFL
- 6:48[SPEAKER_05]: And for him to go to an all star level or to some kind of starting quarterback level, that'd be nothing short of a miracle.
- 6:56[SPEAKER_01]: There have been a good.
- 6:59[SPEAKER_03]: No, all I'm going to say is I refuse in twenty twenty six to discuss rust.
- 7:04[SPEAKER_03]: Did discuss guys aren't ready to go.
- 7:07[SPEAKER_03]: I refuse.
- 7:08[SPEAKER_03]: If you're going to be the starter, I refuse to listen to rust.
- 7:12[SPEAKER_03]: And if we see balls in the ground, then you're just, it's not it.
- 7:16[SPEAKER_03]: It's just not it.
- 7:17[SPEAKER_03]: I thought that is, I will refuse to talk about, well, let's just give them a few games to get things warmed up and get into the game reps.
- 7:30[SPEAKER_03]: We did that makes realistic sense this team moving forward in 20 26 and beyond and you Hey, what an it'd be crazy if Watson balled out this year and then what do the Browns have to do at the end of the season when it's time to figure out do I said Let's not even discuss that.
- 7:48[SPEAKER_03]: Let's just move forward then just because that would be such a typical leaving Browns thing to happen.
- 7:53[SPEAKER_05]: just for life.
- 7:54[SPEAKER_05]: That's a narrative that's out there, though, and it's like you said, like we don't know what we have because we didn't have an offense last year.
- 8:01[SPEAKER_05]: We didn't have an offensive wine.
- 8:02[SPEAKER_05]: We have a good offense.
- 8:04[SPEAKER_05]: We didn't, you know, you need to build that up, and that's what I'm hoping for this offseason.
- 8:09[SPEAKER_05]: We've revamped the offensive one.
- 8:12[SPEAKER_05]: I don't know if they fixed anything, but they got pieces, right?
- 8:15[SPEAKER_05]: So let's get some receivers.
- 8:19[SPEAKER_05]: Let's
- 8:21[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, so I looked it up earlier because I was interested.
- 8:23[SPEAKER_01]: So there have been 85 regular season NFL games since 2020.
- 8:29[SPEAKER_01]: Dishon Watson has played in 19 of them, okay?
- 8:33[SPEAKER_01]: So, and for those 19 games to what Justin was saying,
- 8:38[SPEAKER_01]: couple good one good couple good ones wasn't good bro.
- 8:42[SPEAKER_01]: No, I mean overall the whole body of work garbage just absolutely terrible football was played and the were moments we had moments where we thought okay
- 8:52[SPEAKER_01]: All right, yeah, this is our quarterback.
- 8:54[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, we got to continue to believe and then it just got to a point where it's like, now this is never going to happen.
- 8:59[SPEAKER_01]: And then he started getting hurt, never going to happen.
- 9:03[SPEAKER_01]: So I'm not even remotely concerned about, well, what if to show on why, I hear people say that too, Joe's normal time, but what if he actually comes out and plays good this year?
- 9:12[SPEAKER_01]: And we win like 10 games or we make the play off something like stop, stop being that type of Brownsman.
- 9:17[SPEAKER_01]: I get it.
- 9:18[SPEAKER_01]: I love the hope and the optimism is not gonna happen with him.
- 9:21[SPEAKER_01]: It's not going to happen.
- 9:22[SPEAKER_01]: So I went back and I posted this, so this is what I want to talk about yesterday.
- 9:25[SPEAKER_01]: So I got the last seven games.
- 9:27[SPEAKER_01]: So 2024 to Sean Watson played seven games, 2025 should or Sanders played seven games.
- 9:32[SPEAKER_01]: So we got kind of an equal sample size as far as games played.
- 9:36[SPEAKER_01]: And in those seven games for each guide, to Sean Watson went one in six with a better offensive roster.
- 9:42[SPEAKER_01]: Should or Sanders went three in four.
- 9:45[SPEAKER_01]: to Sean Watson threw for 1,148 yards and Shoulder Sanders threw for 1,400 yards.
- 9:52[SPEAKER_01]: So more yards, Shoulder Sanders had 175 yards per game, to Sean Watson 1,64.
- 9:58[SPEAKER_01]: So everything is in favor of Shador except for interception.
- 10:01[SPEAKER_01]: Shoulder obviously had 10 last years of rookie to Sean's last seven games.
- 10:04[SPEAKER_01]: He threw three, but Shoulder had more touchdowns, took fewer sacks, fewer sacks per game, had more rushing yards than to Sean Watson did in those seven games and average more yards per
- 10:15[SPEAKER_01]: So, he's actually more athletic and picks up better yardage on the ground than to show him Watson does everything to show him what people think he does well.
- 10:22[SPEAKER_01]: Shoulder Sanders actually does better.
- 10:25[SPEAKER_03]: And brother, I don't know if I'm living in a fantasy world or something, but this was pre tearing as Achilles twice and in a 90 days, correct.
- 10:34[SPEAKER_03]: We're talking about guys not coming back properly from one at healthy ages, like 23 24 25.
- 10:40[SPEAKER_03]: We're talking about a 30 year old quarterback that looked less mobile as when he came to the rounds.
- 10:47[SPEAKER_01]: When he was healthy.
- 10:48[SPEAKER_03]: I don't know.
- 10:49[SPEAKER_03]: I don't know how we can sell it that there's a chance that this guy
- 10:53[SPEAKER_03]: become Superman overnight again and returns the two, you know, 2000 Houston.
- 10:58[SPEAKER_03]: I just, I just, I just can't believe that.
- 11:01[SPEAKER_01]: And the thing that I wanted to point out too about these stack comparisons that I did, 2024 was Deshawn Watson's seventh season in the NFL.
- 11:10[SPEAKER_01]: Okay, seven seasons.
- 11:13[SPEAKER_01]: He's a veteran.
- 11:14[SPEAKER_01]: He's a pro.
- 11:15[SPEAKER_01]: That was Shador Sanders rookie season last year with no training camp, with no preseason really reps with nothing prepared for him and an offense that was the worst we've ever seen.
- 11:29[SPEAKER_05]: But one of the worst performances he put, you've ever seen because the offense was so bad against the Chicago Bears.
- 11:35[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, like it's, and then you get the game against the Titans order.
- 11:39[SPEAKER_01]: Should door, it was like, okay, okay, this is what we came to see.
- 11:43[SPEAKER_01]: You know, this is what everybody's buying their tickets for the Shador Show wanted to see.
- 11:47[SPEAKER_01]: And I want to see if that's there.
- 11:50[SPEAKER_01]: I, we're not going to get it with Deshawn.
- 11:55[SPEAKER_03]: 100% brother, 100%.
- 11:57[SPEAKER_01]: All right.
- 11:58[SPEAKER_01]: Well, let's see.
- 11:58[SPEAKER_01]: We do have a hand up.
- 12:00[SPEAKER_01]: So we'll get out of my peer.
- 12:03[SPEAKER_01]: This shows for you guys, Miles, we'll get you up here and let you participate, right?
- 12:05[SPEAKER_01]: Adam, what's going on, man?
- 12:07[SPEAKER_03]: What's up, brother, man?
- 12:09[SPEAKER_01]: You're a mute.
- 12:14[SPEAKER_02]: Boys.
- 12:15[SPEAKER_02]: Hey.
- 12:16[SPEAKER_02]: Hey, man.
- 12:20[SPEAKER_02]: Hey, so, uh,
- 12:21[SPEAKER_02]: to kind of touch on what you guys are talking about.
- 12:23[SPEAKER_02]: I, 100% share the sentiment of Justin on this whole matter.
- 12:30[SPEAKER_02]: It makes me go back to a voicemail that I left with the show.
- 12:37[SPEAKER_02]: You know, somewhere about three quarters away through the season.
- 12:40[SPEAKER_02]: And one of the concerns that I voiced was,
- 12:43[SPEAKER_02]: Um, the statistics that we're getting put up and how that's going to skew, how should or is looked at going into the next season.
- 12:51[SPEAKER_02]: And I heard like Mary Kay touching on this, you know, like, seven touchdowns, ten intersections, yaddiata and like, I think the one thing besides like the one time that should or was doing the interview and he like was kind of, uh,
- 13:05[SPEAKER_02]: He went like silent during the interview and he wasn't really saying anything and still what time I really heard about Shidorah's like maturity being questioned.
- 13:12[SPEAKER_02]: But the one thing that takes me off, especially with like Mary Kay, all those types of reporters is I'm like, if you could just go ahead and name me another player in the NFL that goes into his draft.
- 13:26[SPEAKER_02]: hyped up is, you know, what should be the second pick in the draft behind Cam Ward.
- 13:31[SPEAKER_02]: He's the son of the on Sanders, a Hall of Famer, arguably probably one of the best football players of all time pretty close to it.
- 13:38[SPEAKER_02]: Like he's got all that on him.
- 13:39[SPEAKER_02]: He comes in.
- 13:40[SPEAKER_02]: His coach literally just throws him to the side and goes, you know what, man?
- 13:45[SPEAKER_02]: We don't really got no training camp reps for preseason, hey, no thanks.
- 13:50[SPEAKER_02]: Like I'm pretty sure it made like local news and Cleveland like that they saw shit or he like walks on to bald and Wallace's football practice squad to throw around with the guy so he can get reps because Cleveland's not doing it for him.
- 14:04[SPEAKER_02]: He sits there and he takes all these knocks on the chin and he stands there and he's waiting patiently through Joe Flacco, you know, almost going six feet under into the grave and then
- 14:13[SPEAKER_02]: Dylan Gabriel and his hooked on phonics version of a quarterback and then it should or start and he goes out there and he's performing and the one thing I don't like is that no one rewinds a tape and looks at the games in the situations.
- 14:30[SPEAKER_02]: Where should or is a gamer and he wants to win and like the unfortunate part about you know since 1999 Is we don't have enough people in the history of Cleveland Browns that are gamers that want to win and so like the fact that this dude He's got this will he wants to win.
- 14:46[SPEAKER_02]: He wants to be good the the current coach is saying hey, you know I have a really met Dylan Gabriel yet I saw to Sean the day that I you know signed up as the coach, but I see should order every day like all indications in my mind
- 15:00[SPEAKER_02]: Is that Shidorah is gonna get a look and he's gonna get a real look going into this, you know, pre-season going into training camp He's gonna actually be prepared and I hate when, you know, these Deshawn Watson stories and I hate how it gains momentum Because the last thing I need is reps taken from Shidorah Sanders during training camp to question something that we know is failed already and It's like the kid deserves a legit shot
- 15:29[SPEAKER_02]: not like a Brady Quinn shot like a real shot where we're gonna like prep you we're gonna make sure you know it's played but we're gonna invest in you and then let's see where that takes us and I feel like regardless if you just do that for this kid I don't see how worse off going into this season if we just invest in this young man and not just by putting weapons around him but by the belief of the coaching staff and the belief of the owner and like
- 15:57[SPEAKER_02]: you know, hey, you're the franchise quarterback and you're not going out on that field with a short leash.
- 16:02[SPEAKER_02]: Like, you're gonna go out there.
- 16:04[SPEAKER_02]: I want you to ball.
- 16:05[SPEAKER_02]: I want you to play Shidorah Sanders football because that's Cleveland Brown's football and we want a freaking win.
- 16:11[SPEAKER_02]: So it just, it drives me up a wall.
- 16:13[SPEAKER_02]: I'm with Justin on this man.
- 16:15[SPEAKER_02]: I have no interest in seeing to Sean Watson.
- 16:17[SPEAKER_02]: I hate even saying his name and it's like, I just want Shidorah to get a legit shot
- 16:24[SPEAKER_02]: The reporters like Mary Kay or any of them sitting here throwing random stats out to try and just muddy the waters with the fact that even if you were to draft a quarterback in this draft.
- 16:36[SPEAKER_02]: I don't think that anybody on our roster now, or who's going to be on our roster at, you know, by the end of April, gives us a moral legitimate chance to win football games and should or Sanders at the quarterback position.
- 16:50[SPEAKER_02]: And I just wish that the ownership and the coaches and everyone else would at least give this kid a legitimate shot at it drop the mic, man.
- 16:59[SPEAKER_03]: No, preach, brother.
- 17:01[SPEAKER_03]: Thanks, man.
- 17:02[SPEAKER_03]: I'll drink back.
- 17:03[SPEAKER_03]: Cool.
- 17:03[SPEAKER_03]: All day, dude.
- 17:05[SPEAKER_05]: It even gets worse because now that you know, if you don't want to talk about the Sean Rawson, you want to talk about Ty Simpson at six, which is even worse.
- 17:14[SPEAKER_05]: I mean, at the end of the day, Chador was rated higher last year, like, just put some effort into the kid and believe in a quarterback at, you know, and give them a chance.
- 17:25[SPEAKER_05]: And give them a chance to the whole year, you know, like, that's,
- 17:29[SPEAKER_05]: That's what I want to see, and I'm done with the W as well, and just I've been saying all here, don't put another resource in the quarterback this year to build the team up and get something going, build an identity, because we sure as hell didn't have one last year.
- 17:46[SPEAKER_01]: It feels like there's people in the fan base, obviously, and then there's certain creators on social media and there's certain media members who just have this anybody except for
- 17:59[SPEAKER_01]: I don't know why.
- 17:59[SPEAKER_01]: I don't know what he's ever done to anybody to make them hate him so much, but it's it's crazy that now all of a sudden these people are choosing to back up to Sean Watson, who they were hating on for years, over Shador, who's done nothing wrong.
- 18:15[SPEAKER_01]: So I don't understand the whole thing, but the play on the fields speaks for itself.
- 18:19[SPEAKER_01]: The last time or our to Sean Watson was on the field, like Justin said earlier, dirt balls.
- 18:23[SPEAKER_01]: terrible.
- 18:24[SPEAKER_01]: Nothing passed six yards down and he was basically playing Dylan Gabriel football.
- 18:28[SPEAKER_01]: If you guys can remember back to 2024, it was Dylan Gabriel football from Deshawnawatsa.
- 18:34[SPEAKER_01]: And then you guys should or Sanders come in last year.
- 18:36[SPEAKER_01]: That play man that first game against the Raiders where he was rolling out to the right knee, launch that rocket down the field, Isaiah Bond for almost a touchdown.
- 18:44[SPEAKER_01]: He landed on the one.
- 18:45[SPEAKER_01]: I was like, that's it right there.
- 18:47[SPEAKER_01]: like can you set invest just invest see what you got because again if you don't have anything you're gonna be able to pick a guy next to your anyway so who cares you might as well try it you know what you don't have with the other guy
- 19:02[SPEAKER_01]: This episode is sponsored by Surfshark VPN.
- 19:05[SPEAKER_01]: Browns fans, do you ever feel like the internet is watching your every move?
- 19:08[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, that's because it is.
- 19:09[SPEAKER_01]: Your browser is able to watch and store your digital activity, but you can put an end to that.

- 19:50[SPEAKER_01]: Now, some VPNs do keep records of your activity, which kind of defeats the point of privacy, right?

- 21:20[SPEAKER_05]: So it must
- 21:32[SPEAKER_04]: Bradley.
- 21:32[SPEAKER_04]: Hello.
- 21:33[SPEAKER_04]: Hello.
- 21:34[SPEAKER_04]: It's your local Browns terrorist.
- 21:36[SPEAKER_04]: How are you doing?
- 21:38[SPEAKER_04]: Great.
- 21:38[SPEAKER_04]: Great.
- 21:39[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.
- 21:40[SPEAKER_03]: How was the game?
- 21:41[SPEAKER_03]: Tell us to give us a great opening day recap on the Guardian slash Indians win.
- 21:47[SPEAKER_04]: Let me sell you chased a lotter is the truth.
- 21:52[SPEAKER_03]: I'm really going to be out of few games after that fall ball off his ankle the other day.
- 21:56[SPEAKER_03]: But that is interesting.
- 21:59[SPEAKER_04]: He put some done gay on that and he went back in the game.
- 22:01[SPEAKER_04]: And he said, I'm over it, bro.
- 22:05[SPEAKER_04]: All right, brother, what you got, my friend.
- 22:07[SPEAKER_04]: Dude, you guys are preaching like I'm at church.
- 22:12[SPEAKER_04]: Man, this is freaking great.
- 22:15[SPEAKER_04]: That's good Friday today.
- 22:17[SPEAKER_04]: I'm in Friday.
- 22:18[SPEAKER_04]: Man, man, man, man, you know, man, you know, Mary K. Really like rage-baited like everybody,
- 22:29[SPEAKER_01]: Well, don't talk to me about Tyson in a six.
- 22:31[SPEAKER_01]: Don't do it.
- 22:32[SPEAKER_01]: Don't do it.
- 22:35[SPEAKER_05]: Don't do it.
- 22:39[SPEAKER_04]: But here guys, guys, I won't talk about that.
- 22:42[SPEAKER_04]: But can we talk about true hour at like number 200 and whatever quick with mid range.
- 22:49[SPEAKER_01]: We've been pissed on quarterbacks man.
- 22:50[SPEAKER_01]: Gosh, darn it.
- 22:51[SPEAKER_01]: We need depth in special teams and stuff.
- 22:53[SPEAKER_05]: Come on, let's get a single quarter back this year.
- 22:56[SPEAKER_05]: I want nobody.
- 22:59[SPEAKER_04]: Come on, man, true valor, bro.
- 23:02[SPEAKER_04]: Cleveland boy, I'm just kidding.
- 23:04[SPEAKER_04]: I don't care.
- 23:04[SPEAKER_04]: Honestly, I think I'd read, yeah.
- 23:10[SPEAKER_04]: No, I mean, really, I mean, I mean, you know,
- 23:16[SPEAKER_04]: you know, the whole to Sean thing, how, how I felt for so long about it.
- 23:21[SPEAKER_04]: But when this whole thing came up, I'm like, oh, are we really, are we really trying to dig back into this, this, this old archive, like the, like, uh, you know, like, ending in the covered, like bringing something back to life that, that should be dead, you know, great movie, great movie, bad movie, great movie, great movie,
- 23:47[SPEAKER_04]: Like all these newswriters or reporters like they are pushing this whole to Sean narrative it's just like do they not know like how like The average who the Brown's ban will be if they see that dude back on the field again
- 24:03[SPEAKER_03]: I think, and that's part of the man with the national media and stuff like that.
- 24:07[SPEAKER_03]: And even maybe our local media, it signals a major disconnect with the fan base.
- 24:13[SPEAKER_03]: Major disconnect, completely just disconnected with how the fans feel.
- 24:18[SPEAKER_03]: And I know the fans don't necessarily run the team, you know what I mean?
- 24:22[SPEAKER_03]: Okay.
- 24:22[SPEAKER_03]: Hey, we want to support you guys.
- 24:24[SPEAKER_03]: Don't alienate us.
- 24:26[SPEAKER_03]: We want to be able to gain.
- 24:27[SPEAKER_03]: We want to buy the jerseys.
- 24:29[SPEAKER_03]: We want you guys to win.
- 24:31[SPEAKER_03]: There's not anything other than that.
- 24:34[SPEAKER_03]: We love this team.
- 24:35[SPEAKER_03]: We love the city figure it out.
- 24:38[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, Andrew's got a good point here in the chat.
- 24:41[SPEAKER_01]: He says, uh, they, you know, we cheered his injury.
- 24:43[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, Justin, you were at that game.
- 24:45[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, I was there.
- 24:46[SPEAKER_01]: Now, whether or not he was cheering because he was hurt, but they were definitely cheering because they didn't have to watch him on the field anymore.
- 24:53[SPEAKER_01]: I know that's what was going on.
- 24:54[SPEAKER_01]: We remember that.
- 24:55[SPEAKER_03]: I was at that game people cheered him being injured.
- 24:58[SPEAKER_03]: I don't care what anybody says in our comments section and all that stuff.
- 25:02[SPEAKER_03]: I was at that game.
- 25:03[SPEAKER_03]: I was sitting there.
- 25:04[SPEAKER_03]: I remember looking at my mom and going, this is the craziest thing I've ever seen.
- 25:08[SPEAKER_03]: I've never seen it.
- 25:09[SPEAKER_03]: It reminded me, and I wasn't there, but it reminded me of hearing the stories of Justin Gilbert getting injured and people's hearing words and couch getting injured and people's hearing life.
- 25:20[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah, there you go.
- 25:21[SPEAKER_05]: So, I mean, it's
- 25:22[SPEAKER_05]: It's a savage world out there, but I mean, there was a part and a vote that injury that if you keep telling people, he's the best option that you have to win.
- 25:33[SPEAKER_05]: People are just going to like rebel and that's how they rebel.
- 25:38[SPEAKER_05]: They were yelling you deserve it, but he should have been benched.
- 25:42[SPEAKER_05]: I hope he played bench-worthy football, and they didn't do it, and that was the result.
- 25:47[SPEAKER_05]: I'm not justified.
- 25:48[SPEAKER_05]: I can see why there are people that did that.
- 25:52[SPEAKER_03]: hasn't asked in a joke or nailed in the comments section.
- 25:56[SPEAKER_03]: He said, they basically let him roll out there week after week, looking terrible.
- 26:01[SPEAKER_03]: We would watch all 22 film and there be people wide open all over the place and they'd say, the Sean Watson's our guy going in next week.
- 26:09[SPEAKER_03]: We, after week, I know you guys remember this.
- 26:11[SPEAKER_03]: We would literally walk into the show going, what are we doing?
- 26:14[SPEAKER_05]: Like, we, they didn't have a feeling, they didn't have a feeling Gabriel, too.
- 26:22[SPEAKER_05]: What those guys are here no more.
- 26:23[SPEAKER_05]: So we got a new coaching resistance.
- 26:25[SPEAKER_04]: Thank God.
- 26:26[SPEAKER_05]: Let's see what they do.
- 26:28[SPEAKER_04]: You know what one thing I would request can somebody for the love of God give our owners some media training like for the love of God like
- 26:40[SPEAKER_04]: And he like feeds into like people spoon feeding him a question and he just like he just like rolls right and oh yeah yeah like yeah just on you know he could be He could be just like, you know, Sam Donald or yeah, like, I was like, I was like, bro, can somebody get the mic off of this dude to try to Yeah, he said that.
- 27:10[SPEAKER_03]: I know you don't love, love, love what he says, but, and I, and we don't agree with the battling and stuff like that, but I think at the end of the day, Jimmy is like, one of us is a brown span.
- 27:20[SPEAKER_03]: He just wants a team to win the two.
- 27:22[SPEAKER_03]: I mean, he's throwing bads and breaks trucks of money at this thing, trying to make this thing go out.
- 27:29[SPEAKER_03]: No, I mean, I want to get up here and see some crazy things, I'll let him.
- 27:33[SPEAKER_03]: But I agree with you, there's sometimes where it's like, man, you know, last year we waited for that clarification that hit and missed, you know, and it was a signal that, okay, we're moving forward, man, hey, take a deep breath, we're gonna, we're gonna invest in the future and here we are holding our breath again.
- 27:53[SPEAKER_01]: Yep.
- 27:55[SPEAKER_01]: It's it's just that time and just like Justin said to this is the wall there's like two of these it's this time of this the off season and then it's after everything wraps up with the the OTAs and the voluntary and the mandatory many camps and everything at the end of June and then from the end of June to the end of July where there's like that month break that's where there's nothing.
- 28:14[SPEAKER_01]: that the news is you got to be very careful what you listen to what you buy into because there's just nothing to talk about nothing's going on the NFL's essentially shut down for summer break and then that's when people go and get arrested and to the crap happens.
- 28:27[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, it's every general manager's worst fear like that's the worst time a year is that four weeks summer break I swear.
- 28:38[SPEAKER_04]: So on a positive know, I'm, you know what, I keep hearing it and I was listening to 92.3 unfortunately today, but on a positive note, they were saying all these guys are saying that we should just take it six and then take falls in six, we're going to take
- 29:07[SPEAKER_04]: I hope.
- 29:08[SPEAKER_04]: What's hope and are very actually does it.
- 29:10[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 29:11[SPEAKER_01]: I hope so.
- 29:11[SPEAKER_01]: I hope so.
- 29:12[SPEAKER_04]: I hope so.
- 29:13[SPEAKER_04]: I hope so.
- 29:13[SPEAKER_01]: I hope so.
- 29:14[SPEAKER_01]: I hope so.
- 29:14[SPEAKER_04]: I hope so.
- 29:15[SPEAKER_04]: I hope so.
- 29:15[SPEAKER_04]: I hope so.
- 29:16[SPEAKER_04]: I hope so.
- 29:16[SPEAKER_04]: I hope so.
- 29:16[SPEAKER_04]: I hope so.
- 29:17[SPEAKER_04]: I hope so.
- 29:17[SPEAKER_04]: I hope so.
- 29:17[SPEAKER_04]: I hope so.
- 29:17[SPEAKER_04]: I hope so.
- 29:18[SPEAKER_04]: I hope so.
- 29:18[SPEAKER_04]: I hope so.
- 29:18[SPEAKER_04]: I hope so.
- 29:19[SPEAKER_04]: I hope so.
- 29:19[SPEAKER_04]: I hope so.
- 29:19[SPEAKER_04]: I hope so.
- 29:19[SPEAKER_04]: I hope so.
- 29:20[SPEAKER_04]: I hope so.
- 29:20[SPEAKER_04]: I hope so.
- 29:21[SPEAKER_01]: It worked last year, um, yeah, it worked last year because you were able to get a first time GM to just roll over for you and be like, yeah, I want to make a big splash for my team and get this generational once in a lifetime type of player and all this stuff.
- 29:37[SPEAKER_01]: And I mean, Andrew Barry took him for a ride.
- 29:39[SPEAKER_01]: I got to give him that.
- 29:39[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, he really did.
- 29:41[SPEAKER_01]: He worked that deal and it was well done.
- 29:45[SPEAKER_01]: I, you're not going to get somebody do that every year.
- 29:47[SPEAKER_01]: So just,
- 29:49[SPEAKER_01]: Yes, sucked last year.
- 29:51[SPEAKER_01]: You sucked so bad.
- 29:52[SPEAKER_01]: You got the six pick in the draft.
- 29:54[SPEAKER_01]: Use the damn thing.
- 29:55[SPEAKER_01]: Take a good player and get better.
- 29:58[SPEAKER_06]: Yep.
- 29:58[SPEAKER_06]: Yep.
- 30:00[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 30:00[SPEAKER_01]: Hmm.
- 30:00[SPEAKER_01]: Okay.
- 30:02[SPEAKER_01]: Well, let's see.
- 30:02[SPEAKER_01]: We got Brown's guy.
- 30:04[SPEAKER_01]: One.
- 30:04[SPEAKER_01]: Let's get you up here.
- 30:06[SPEAKER_01]: I think so.
- 30:07[SPEAKER_01]: First time or yeah.
- 30:08[SPEAKER_01]: First time or it.
- 30:09[SPEAKER_05]: What's up?
- 30:10[SPEAKER_01]: What's up?
- 30:10[SPEAKER_05]: What's up?
- 30:11[SPEAKER_05]: Jersey, man.
- 30:13[SPEAKER_03]: Yes, sir.
- 30:14[SPEAKER_03]: What's up, brother?
- 30:15[SPEAKER_07]: Yeah, what's up to your friendly browns fan out here in New Jersey?
- 30:19[SPEAKER_07]: Right.
- 30:20[SPEAKER_07]: Uh, how you guys, you guys doing good, um, yeah, everything Adam said that was awesome.
- 30:24[SPEAKER_07]: I mean, I couldn't agree with them more, you know, like, let's go out where all the fan bases and entrepreneur, you know what I mean, but you know, over the secret guy on with a hood that's pushing some crazy agenda day.
- 30:36[SPEAKER_07]: But the Sean Watson out there, like someone did some secret guy like dirty one day like 20 30 years ago and he's We got to bring down this let's move in the bolts of more and then oh, that oh, we came back.
- 30:49[SPEAKER_07]: Oh, no, we got to bring them down again.
- 30:51[SPEAKER_07]: It's incredible.
- 30:51[SPEAKER_01]: Actually, I need to go see what we have to stick a staff is up to maybe a Tim.
- 30:55[SPEAKER_07]: yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah
- 31:11[SPEAKER_07]: You know what I mean?
- 31:12[SPEAKER_07]: Because I'm excited, because we need that bigger body, I think.
- 31:15[SPEAKER_07]: We got Isaiah Bond, who's, I mean, he's like, what?
- 31:18[SPEAKER_07]: I think 510, 511, and very quick.
- 31:21[SPEAKER_07]: You know what I mean?
- 31:22[SPEAKER_07]: So it's like, get tate or get kind of a bigger body down the field, jump up, and catch the ball thing.
- 31:28[SPEAKER_07]: But if we have tate, you know, Isaiah Bond and Harold Fan, and even if we didn't get end other receiver, which I still think we need at least one more,
- 31:40[SPEAKER_07]: Um, but I'm not going to stand here too long though, uh, and I brought this time up and a voice, you know, with those other stuff on it, too, but uh, I just was wondering your thoughts about what happened with that Kirk cousin, uh, um, trade and that big, I mean, that was pretty serious country.
- 31:56[SPEAKER_07]: I mean, it's, I believe a hundred and seventy two million for five years to the Raiders.
- 32:01[SPEAKER_07]: I mean, I'm not going to make things interesting.
- 32:03[SPEAKER_07]: That's for sure, right?
- 32:05[SPEAKER_07]: I mean, it's, it's almost like, well,
- 32:08[SPEAKER_07]: What's really going on there?
- 32:09[SPEAKER_07]: I'm not saying they can't bring another person in, you know, and let Mendosa sit a little bit, but I don't know if that exactly how that's going to go.
- 32:17[SPEAKER_07]: I just want to hear thoughts on that.
- 32:19[SPEAKER_01]: Well, let me let me just go real fast because I know off top of my head here that I was seeing reports that
- 32:26[SPEAKER_01]: Kubiak, Clint Kubiak had, I don't know if he had made the comments or somebody else in the organization may comment said they were interested in bringing in a veteran to start the season they wanted to bridge Mendoza.
- 32:38[SPEAKER_01]: So they don't want to just kick him right out there.
- 32:40[SPEAKER_01]: Now, maybe he comes in and he's ready, but you can't expect a rookie to be ready.
- 32:44[SPEAKER_01]: I think that's setting yourself up for disappointment.
- 32:47[SPEAKER_01]: And then I was looking at, so it's a five year hundred seventy two million dollar deal, but it really just a one year fully guaranteed twenty million dollars.
- 32:54[SPEAKER_01]: So after that, they can cut and the Falcons are paying them 8.7 million this year.
- 33:01[SPEAKER_01]: Raiders are paying the one point three vet and then.
- 33:04[SPEAKER_01]: So really, it's a pretty team-friendly deal.
- 33:08[SPEAKER_01]: Kurt's going to get some money.
- 33:10[SPEAKER_01]: Again, dude gets so much guaranteed money isn't saying.
- 33:16[SPEAKER_07]: I'm in a Daniel Jones agent, man.
- 33:19[SPEAKER_07]: They just know each other.
- 33:21[SPEAKER_05]: I put that out in the discord today.
- 33:23[SPEAKER_05]: He's passing the torch to Daddy Dimes, and he'll be next to Rich's quarterback in the lead in the comments while.
- 33:31[SPEAKER_07]: Yeah, it should be the biggest brown thing ever to do because I could be put the thing out for a possible five first round picks and no one really knows exactly what that meant or what they were serious about, but it'd be such the biggest brown thing to do to like do some crazy insane trade with like three first round picks, Miles Garrett on the opposite side of, you know, Max Crosby and then we end up with Ben Dose and we have no
- 34:00[SPEAKER_03]: Uh, just to touch on the Kirk Cousins thing, like when that was announced, I think it was on Thursday, man, I there might like NFL fandom was like full go because I'm going man, Mendoza just had a crazy pro day the day before where he put on a show.
- 34:16[SPEAKER_03]: I'm like, maybe the raiders are interested in selling this pick, you know, in the contracts coming through and I'm like, holy crap, a lot of money and then Josh nailed it.
- 34:25[SPEAKER_03]: I see in one year, 20 million guaranteed, that's really what it comes down to and I went, well, hey, this is this is just getting a guy in place and they're going to let Mendoza kind of just ease his way into becoming the guy there for a little bit though, I was like, man, maybe Kirk cousins.
- 34:41[SPEAKER_03]: They're going to roll with him as the future, you know, for the next three, four years, but yeah, I think at the end of the day, this is just the biggest, you know, insurance policy for your young projected number one overall quarterback.
- 34:55[SPEAKER_07]: Yeah, yeah, that was pretty much it, you know, and I mean, just let's go, that's good car and I'll take me and let's let's do it.
- 35:02[SPEAKER_07]: Yes.
- 35:03[SPEAKER_05]: If you're a sewer man, get that extra sewer, you know?
- 35:07[SPEAKER_05]: We got Judy, you got Bond.
- 35:10[SPEAKER_05]: I don't know about two women in the rest.
- 35:12[SPEAKER_05]: Like we need receivers.
- 35:14[SPEAKER_05]: We were talking before this, like will the Browns draft two receivers?
- 35:18[SPEAKER_05]: It's only happened in the last 30 years, once a day.
- 35:21[SPEAKER_05]: So, you know, I wanna see more.
- 35:25[SPEAKER_05]: I just need weapons, man.
- 35:26[SPEAKER_05]: I just need weapons.
- 35:28[SPEAKER_07]: Yeah, I mean, because Miles, I mean, his ticker's tickin' too, you know, I'm with Denzel Ward and that crazy duo.
- 35:34[SPEAKER_07]: It's like, you just, we need points.
- 35:37[SPEAKER_07]: I'm tired of having games where there's six points on the board.
- 35:40[SPEAKER_07]: And, you know, I mean, the defense is, looks like they're panning like dogs out there.
- 35:44[SPEAKER_07]: It's like, well, they're comin' back out and this probably isn't gonna be good.
- 35:48[SPEAKER_07]: But, yeah, just, we need some points, whatever we need to do to get that.
- 35:51[SPEAKER_07]: But,
- 35:52[SPEAKER_07]: You know what, we'll see what happens, you know, I just don't have a lot of hope.
- 35:56[SPEAKER_07]: I thought we were going to be drafts now, just like, this guy, you have to take this guy, like you got to.
- 36:02[SPEAKER_07]: And even the crazy part is like, even me finding myself a do a lot of mock drafts.
- 36:06[SPEAKER_07]: I'm already doing drafts where if we're going to completely just screw it up and like, I don't know.
- 36:11[SPEAKER_07]: Take some, one of the line bat, which online bag is like, oh, see, or phenomenal, we just don't need that right now.
- 36:17[SPEAKER_07]: But just like the idea of like, them just taking the wrong person or whatnot.
- 36:23[SPEAKER_07]: So I'm like, here I'm like, okay, what if we do start looking at second or third round picks?
- 36:27[SPEAKER_07]: I even find myself starting to like do it.
- 36:29[SPEAKER_07]: So I'm so used to it.
- 36:30[SPEAKER_07]: I'm like, don't do that.
- 36:32[SPEAKER_07]: Tated six, that's simple.
- 36:34[SPEAKER_07]: You want to trade up or down the 24th pick.
- 36:36[SPEAKER_07]: That's fine.
- 36:37[SPEAKER_07]: But just get take man, that would be great.
- 36:40[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 36:42[SPEAKER_05]: It's going to make this great, buddy.
- 36:43[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah.
- 36:43[SPEAKER_01]: Tate make this great.
- 36:44[SPEAKER_01]: I see Ashton in the chassis trade up if anything, I keep trying to put this out there every chance I get with people.
- 36:52[SPEAKER_01]: Andrew Barry's only traded up one time in six years with any significant.
- 36:56[SPEAKER_01]: I know he traded up last year to get Shador, but that was like he traded two six to move up in the fifth.
- 37:00[SPEAKER_01]: That to me, that's not a huge investment.
- 37:03[SPEAKER_01]: the only time was trading up in the mid-second round to get J.
- 37:06[SPEAKER_01]: Okay.
- 37:07[SPEAKER_01]: I just don't see.
- 37:09[SPEAKER_01]: He's not a trade up guy.
- 37:10[SPEAKER_01]: He's a trade-back guy.
- 37:12[SPEAKER_01]: That's, that is what he does.
- 37:13[SPEAKER_01]: That's his move.
- 37:15[SPEAKER_07]: Yeah.
- 37:16[SPEAKER_07]: And the rookies they take now, I mean, even with the new stadium in 2020, 2029, they're still going to be there at the kind of end of their rookie deals.
- 37:25[SPEAKER_07]: So it's what he could be for them, too.
- 37:26[SPEAKER_07]: So you know, still do for the future now, you know what I mean?
- 37:30[SPEAKER_07]: Yeah, I just, I hope they don't do something crazy like that.
- 37:33[SPEAKER_07]: I don't know, trade around, get tight Simpson, quarterbacks, get tight.
- 37:38[SPEAKER_01]: So the thing is, and we can talk some draft stuff here too, because I know that's gonna come up at some point anyhow.
- 37:43[SPEAKER_01]: But, you know, if we were talking before the show, if we trade back, you've got Washington sitting right behind us at seven who would, I mean, they've been linked to Tate, a little bit, you've got the saints right after them, they've been linked to him.
- 37:58[SPEAKER_01]: You got the chiefs at nine who I'm just now seeing on Twitter here.
- 38:01[SPEAKER_01]: from Ian Rababorth that they are looking into the idea of trading up from number nine.
- 38:06[SPEAKER_01]: So I know that there's been some talk about the cheese maybe trying to go make a push for Jeremiah love.
- 38:11[SPEAKER_01]: They could use the number one Ryder Sea or we don't really know what's going on with Rishi Rice and he's kind of more of a he's got his role in the offense that he plays for them.
- 38:18[SPEAKER_01]: But I don't know if he's that type of guy that Cardinal tape would be very good in Kansas City.
- 38:25[SPEAKER_01]: So yeah, it's just it to me.
- 38:27[SPEAKER_01]: It cracks me of the people that say we owe you can't take Tate at six.
- 38:30[SPEAKER_01]: He's not worth that pick.
- 38:32[SPEAKER_01]: Okay.
- 38:32[SPEAKER_01]: So he's worth seven.
- 38:33[SPEAKER_01]: He can go at eight.
- 38:34[SPEAKER_01]: He can go at nine.
- 38:35[SPEAKER_01]: But you can't take him at six.
- 38:36[SPEAKER_01]: Come on.
- 38:36[SPEAKER_01]: We're talking about what Kevin and the chat was saying.
- 38:39[SPEAKER_01]: He's afraid.
- 38:40[SPEAKER_01]: And I have this fear too.
- 38:41[SPEAKER_01]: The tape won't even be there at six.
- 38:44[SPEAKER_03]: No, yeah, we've already talked about that.
- 38:47[SPEAKER_03]: It makes sense for Tennessee to take him.
- 38:49[SPEAKER_03]: It doesn't make sense for New York to take him.
- 38:52[SPEAKER_03]: And the same people that say, hey, you know, love might be there at six, I will circle back to those two teams again and say those two teams will be very interesting and taking Jeremiah love also.
- 39:04[SPEAKER_03]: I, the worst case scenario is both those guys come off the board at four and five.
- 39:09[SPEAKER_01]: Yes.
- 39:09[SPEAKER_01]: Yes, you know, why?
- 39:10[SPEAKER_01]: Because those two teams will do those two teams need the Titans and Giants.
- 39:14[SPEAKER_01]: They need help on offense because they have a young quarterbacks that they're investing in and they want they have no playmate.
- 39:19[SPEAKER_01]: Don't have an explosive playmakers or lead playmakers.
- 39:22[SPEAKER_01]: Guess what?
- 39:22[SPEAKER_01]: Neither do we.
- 39:23[SPEAKER_01]: That's what drives me nuts about this convertible.
- 39:25[SPEAKER_01]: Broush is just tradeback.
- 39:27[SPEAKER_01]: We never have the best players.
- 39:29[SPEAKER_01]: And our offense is the worst.
- 39:31[SPEAKER_01]: Get those players.
- 39:33[SPEAKER_01]: That's what just pisses me off.
- 39:36[SPEAKER_05]: Guys, how many times have you heard as Bailey or his downs or as like banging a fall to us at six and we have to take him.
- 39:45[SPEAKER_05]: I'm like, how much more like 20 to 16 games do you wanna watch, run the tail end in that?
- 39:52[SPEAKER_05]: Like, get me somebody that can stick their nose in the goddamn end zone, like get love, get tape, get somebody anybody that can get like, get that like,
- 40:04[SPEAKER_05]: I just don't get how you point through see points, not from the other team, and it's never workforce, hasn't worked for us since 99.
- 40:15[SPEAKER_05]: All we've ever done is traded back and taken manners, guards, tackles, defensive tackles, or tedious mingos, like mid-time here with them, mid-talent and, yeah, oh man,
- 40:31[SPEAKER_01]: Oh well there's a just you get anything else for us while we why we got you up here No, that's it.
- 40:38[SPEAKER_01]: All right, man.
- 40:38[SPEAKER_01]: Well it's good to hear from you.
- 40:39[SPEAKER_01]: Thanks for joining us here.
- 40:41[SPEAKER_03]: Thank you so much
- 40:43[SPEAKER_03]: I almost said, okay, well, see you later.
- 40:45[SPEAKER_03]: I know.
- 40:46[SPEAKER_03]: I was like, I was like, Jesus.
- 40:48[SPEAKER_01]: So I wanted to talk about Kevin put a nice question, hypothetical question here in the chat.
- 40:52[SPEAKER_01]: He said, say both Carnell Tate and Jeremiah love are both gone at six, then who are you taking instead?
- 41:00[SPEAKER_01]: And so you got obviously Fernando Mendoza's gone, but I don't know who the other couple people off the board would be, but Justin, do you have a thought?
- 41:08[SPEAKER_03]: So I would, like you said, it depends on who slides.
- 41:12[SPEAKER_03]: You know what I mean?
- 41:13[SPEAKER_03]: If the tackle for Miami slides, that's your guy.
- 41:18[SPEAKER_03]: That's the one to circle, okay?
- 41:19[SPEAKER_03]: No brainer.
- 41:20[SPEAKER_03]: Hey, that makes complete sense.
- 41:22[SPEAKER_03]: You that is you are absolutely home running that pic right there.
- 41:26[SPEAKER_03]: If he is gone, which I would think he would go off with Arizona, but,
- 41:32[SPEAKER_03]: I'm not gonna lie, I would be a very comfortable taking my guy lemon.
- 41:37[SPEAKER_03]: I would, I know he's a slot guy, but I like his attitude, I like his film a lot.
- 41:42[SPEAKER_03]: He, um,
- 41:44[SPEAKER_03]: I like his contested.
- 41:46[SPEAKER_03]: I think we need to get a guy.
- 41:47[SPEAKER_03]: We need to get a guy that'll own some shit in that room.
- 41:50[SPEAKER_03]: We need a guy that'll take some leadership.
- 41:52[SPEAKER_03]: We need a Jarvis Landriek.
- 41:54[SPEAKER_03]: We really, really need a vocal guy.
- 41:56[SPEAKER_03]: Kenny's talked about this a lot.
- 41:57[SPEAKER_03]: I think lemon is absolutely fits that mold and would be an immediate playmaker in the offense.
- 42:05[SPEAKER_03]: But that's how I would go.

- 45:04[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, I'm with you.
- 45:05[SPEAKER_01]: For instance, my anose there, if someone doesn't take him in the top five, you've got to take him.
- 45:10[SPEAKER_01]: He's, I think he's a sedent and forget it.
- 45:11[SPEAKER_01]: PC, you're offensive line for the next decade plus.
- 45:14[SPEAKER_01]: So he's, don't worry about it.
- 45:15[SPEAKER_01]: I don't care that he plays right tackle.
- 45:17[SPEAKER_01]: Who cares?
- 45:17[SPEAKER_01]: Who cares?
- 45:19[SPEAKER_01]: Traft him.
- 45:20[SPEAKER_01]: Make how would play left tackle or something else?
- 45:22[SPEAKER_01]: Who cares?
- 45:22[SPEAKER_01]: This is your guy.
- 45:23[SPEAKER_01]: But then, I'm with you on McCuy lemon.
- 45:27[SPEAKER_01]: The dude's insane, like his season.
- 45:30[SPEAKER_01]: like some of the the deeper metrics like his yards after catch yet five hundred two yards after catch that was the most second most in this class and you know his yards per route run is one of the only receivers there's only three receivers in this class that were over three.
- 45:47[SPEAKER_01]: and he was one of them.
- 45:48[SPEAKER_01]: He was the actually the highest at 3.13.
- 45:51[SPEAKER_01]: His A dots nice at 10.4 only.
- 45:53[SPEAKER_01]: Two drops caught 10 out of 15 contests, contested catches like, and when the 21 miss tackles force, like, he's going to make plays.
- 46:01[SPEAKER_01]: He's going to pick up yards.
- 46:03[SPEAKER_01]: He's, like you said, we love watching Harold Fanon catch a two yard pass and take it for 11.
- 46:09[SPEAKER_01]: That's what my kind of love can do too.
- 46:11[SPEAKER_01]: So now you got a couple of those guys that can just beast people and I'd be excited for that as well.
- 46:17[SPEAKER_05]: Can you guys, when we were drafted, we would be drafted Swords, like Stephen Brown was on the table, was he not?
- 46:24[SPEAKER_05]: Yep, we talked.
- 46:26[SPEAKER_05]: I remember that in like we were just like pounding the table for I remember you guys doing the draft.
- 46:32[SPEAKER_05]: I'm like, oh, hello, yeah.
- 46:34[SPEAKER_05]: Somebody, somebody sees this.
- 46:35[SPEAKER_05]: That's right.
- 46:36[SPEAKER_05]: But I'm like the fast scoundrel dropped and you jacked it for us.
- 46:39[SPEAKER_05]: And you know, that guy reminds me so much of him that guy has an attitude.
- 46:46[SPEAKER_05]: He has an attitude for the Motor City.
- 46:48[SPEAKER_05]: Bring them in here and get his attitude for the, the
- 46:52[SPEAKER_05]: Browns, I mean, he, I think he'd be fantastic for us as far as, like, just is playmaking ability, his attitude, and, you know, he would change his team like, like, landry, I think.
- 47:10[SPEAKER_01]: I agree.
- 47:11[SPEAKER_01]: I know I see you guys in the chat talking OT, wide receiver, all that stuff.
- 47:15[SPEAKER_01]: I shared this on Twitter the other day.
- 47:17[SPEAKER_01]: The car brothers, Derek Car and David Car do a podcast together and they put out a clip they were going through their first round mock just kind of doing their own thing.
- 47:25[SPEAKER_01]: They got to Cleveland at six and they said, how do you not take car and I'll take here?
- 47:29[SPEAKER_01]: You need a wide receiver.
- 47:30[SPEAKER_01]: And
- 47:31[SPEAKER_01]: I think was Derek Carr was talking about how cruise short is to have reliable receivers that you can throw to as a quarterback and right now we don't have one of those.
- 47:42[SPEAKER_01]: And Justin, what do you think about Denzel boss?
- 47:45[SPEAKER_01]: I see people in the chat here talking about, well, he should be there at 24, we'll just take him instead.
- 47:50[SPEAKER_01]: To me, there's a significant drop from Tate to Boston, but what do you think?
- 47:55[SPEAKER_03]: I, oh, huge, huge, huge drop.
- 47:58[SPEAKER_03]: Okay.
- 47:58[SPEAKER_03]: I, I, I, I see him as like if we, for some reason go, anything but wide receiver at six or if we trade out of that, I could see him like as a circle at 24.
- 48:11[SPEAKER_03]: I see that a lot, the thing for me though is like you have those kind of top guys.
- 48:17[SPEAKER_03]: There's three guys I, I think are, what does call it, too?
- 48:21[SPEAKER_03]: Let's say Tate Lemon, right?
- 48:22[SPEAKER_03]: Cause Tyson, I think Tyson could slide.
- 48:26[SPEAKER_03]: I've seen Mox where he slides all the way to 24 because people were scared about the history.
- 48:30[SPEAKER_03]: I just, for me, I have that 24 circle is like an offensive lineman.
- 48:37[SPEAKER_03]: I don't know how we don't do that.
- 48:39[SPEAKER_03]: And then behind that, Kenny's gotta talk to about it too is there's guys, you know, at what is it gonna be 39 and at 70
- 48:49[SPEAKER_03]: Kenny brought up sarot today.
- 48:51[SPEAKER_05]: I did just a round man.
- 48:52[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, he could be a guy that like an absolute still I feel like it's almost cheating to like just Compton to Mike Evans just got his body down like his red zone presence, but like he's a big guy like and then I know this one might scare you
- 49:07[SPEAKER_03]: but a guy that I kind of like to is uh... brazzle from uh... tenancy i know that tenancy receivers have not uh... don't ask great i got a lot of that yeah some of his stuff man he uh... he's very fun to watch he's uh
- 49:23[SPEAKER_03]: Like great pass catching his contested catches good.
- 49:27[SPEAKER_03]: He ran a very good 40, which I mean some of that stuff is kind of a wash anyway, but like Think like sub 4 4 40.
- 49:36[SPEAKER_03]: So there.
- 49:36[SPEAKER_03]: I will see why receiver is like ICS drafting too
- 49:40[SPEAKER_03]: Tate is a circle to me, like as long as Tate's there, you take him, but then like I think that you can have a run where you go guard or, you know, tackle or whatever at, and your second pick and the first round and then, you know, kind of filters and pieces up because the depth on our team is not great either we've kind of hatching that out that like even on our elite defensive side when you get past the ones it can kind of get a little.
- 50:07[SPEAKER_03]: Absolutely terrifying if we're being honest.
- 50:09[SPEAKER_03]: So I that's kind of how I see it.
- 50:12[SPEAKER_03]: I see us taking at least at a leap at six.
- 50:16[SPEAKER_03]: I would be shocked if we don't go tater lemon at six and then I think that you come back around it.
- 50:23[SPEAKER_03]: You know, your third or fourth pick on the other receiver.
- 50:27[SPEAKER_05]: So yeah, I don't know about Boston and like where do you see him play because like ultimately I keep hearing the Browns and how they talk about how they want players to play multiple positions.
- 50:37[SPEAKER_05]: Like that's a big thing for them.
- 50:39[SPEAKER_05]: There we have an injury.
- 50:40[SPEAKER_05]: Are you look at somebody like Tate that we've been talking a lot?
- 50:43[SPEAKER_05]: He can play XY, the play slot, he can do a lot of stuff.
- 50:47[SPEAKER_05]: I could even see with the jump ball and the contested catches with London that he could probably do that maybe not so much an extra seever.
- 50:55[SPEAKER_05]: But like somebody like Denzel Boston, I think you're just pigeonholing him to one real receiver position right where you got pooper who's a bigger body guy is a slot guy right you could probably move him around to just based on sizes.
- 51:11[SPEAKER_05]: and the type of the way he plays the game, even Brazil or whatever his name is.
- 51:17[SPEAKER_05]: I think that guy's got a little bit of lineage through the NFL.
- 51:19[SPEAKER_05]: I think his old man played as well.
- 51:21[SPEAKER_05]: But as Boston's did, but I just feel like he's a one-dimensional receiver.
- 51:26[SPEAKER_05]: He's going to jump up and get the ball or he's going to catch it like close to line of streaming, streaming, and go, really nowhere his intermediate game is.
- 51:35[SPEAKER_01]: So everything that you're talking about with Boston, I heard this breakdown, I listened to a guy talk about breaking down Denzel Boston, and he said there's a lot of key on Coleman there for the bills.
- 51:47[SPEAKER_01]: And if you guys have followed anything with the bills and key on Coleman, like his biggest issue on the field is he just cannot generate separation.
- 51:55[SPEAKER_01]: Can't create separation.
- 51:56[SPEAKER_01]: And yeah, great contest to catch guy in college, and that's what Denzel Boston does.
- 51:59[SPEAKER_01]: But you can't live on contest to catch a loan.
- 52:01[SPEAKER_01]: And if that's your calling card,
- 52:05[SPEAKER_01]: That's a problem because it means you're not getting open.
- 52:07[SPEAKER_01]: Everything you catch has to be contested because you're not creating separation and that worries me.
- 52:12[SPEAKER_01]: If you can't do it in college, you're not going to do it at the NFL level and for me you guys didn't even mention his name.
- 52:18[SPEAKER_01]: But at 24, if that were the situation, I'd rather have either Omar Cooper Jr. or Casey Concepcion than Denzel Boston because Concepcion to Kenny's point.
- 52:28[SPEAKER_01]: can go all over the field, he line him up wherever you want whatever receiver spot he can win in the middle, the intermediate, he can win short, he can win deep, he's got it all.
- 52:37[SPEAKER_01]: Like he is a very explosive player.
- 52:39[SPEAKER_01]: I know he has drops this, you know last year and college and everything, but
- 52:44[SPEAKER_01]: Everybody I listen to has said like, now I'm not saying it's not something to be concerned about.
- 52:49[SPEAKER_01]: Don't hang up.
- 52:50[SPEAKER_05]: I want to know with, I want to know with him with the drop issues, like how they think it's so fixable.
- 52:57[SPEAKER_05]: You know, listen, this is what they said about Braille and Edwards 15 years ago, too.
- 53:01[SPEAKER_05]: All that guy could do is bad about it.
- 53:04[SPEAKER_01]: Well, I think it's because some of his, a lot, I don't know how many, but a good portion of his drops were in very tight contested contact situations,
- 53:14[SPEAKER_01]: He's not the biggest.
- 53:15[SPEAKER_01]: He's not the strongest wide receiver.
- 53:17[SPEAKER_01]: So I think some of that might have led to some drops.
- 53:21[SPEAKER_05]: For this, yeah, for I guess I can see what you're saying.
- 53:24[SPEAKER_05]: So for his side, you're ultimately going to play him inside.
- 53:27[SPEAKER_05]: More likely.
- 53:30[SPEAKER_05]: propensity to want to throw him contested catches.
- 53:33[SPEAKER_05]: So that would, I ruled, drop his, and he can get open.
- 53:38[SPEAKER_01]: He is, he is a zone beater and that's what I love about him because the, you know, in a fell place on average, I think it's 70% zone coverage.
- 53:44[SPEAKER_01]: So he's got that.
- 53:46[SPEAKER_01]: He's got that in his arsenal.
- 53:48[SPEAKER_05]: But I'm glad you brought that up because I saw that 10% of the, yeah, I don't know about that.
- 53:55[SPEAKER_01]: I know it's definitely something to be concerned with, but again, all these guys have their pros and they have their cons.
- 54:03[SPEAKER_01]: Some have more pros, some have more cons, things to be worried about, whatever, but I feel so comfortable with date just because the way he wins, the way he wins translates to the NFL so well.
- 54:17[SPEAKER_01]: And I know everybody scout the player, not the helmet.
- 54:20[SPEAKER_01]: Well, I scouted the player.
- 54:21[SPEAKER_01]: because I watched the helmet every Saturday and the dude is freaking good and we have not put out a Ohio State that is what I mean has not put out a bad receiver since win.
- 54:36[SPEAKER_05]: You're a Robisky junior.
- 54:39[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, Brian Robisky, how's it going?
- 54:44[SPEAKER_01]: Hey, we got Browns guy if want and come back up here.
- 54:46[SPEAKER_05]: Is it tested as old man's name?
- 54:48[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah, bro.
- 54:49[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 54:50[SPEAKER_01]: Justin, what's up, man?
- 54:51[SPEAKER_07]: I'm going to, I'm going to, I'm going to, yeah.
- 54:53[SPEAKER_07]: Oh, you see it?
- 54:53[SPEAKER_07]: No, that's Justin.
- 54:54[SPEAKER_07]: Okay.
- 54:55[SPEAKER_07]: Uh, yeah.
- 54:56[SPEAKER_01]: I told you a second.
- 54:56[SPEAKER_01]: I was like, wait, I know this.
- 54:58[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 54:58[SPEAKER_07]: With the other Justin was saying, but I'm an old tree for my name eventually made easier.
- 55:02[SPEAKER_03]: No, don't worry.
- 55:03[SPEAKER_03]: I'll be J.C. Brow, you're good, man.
- 55:05[SPEAKER_03]: You, you, you be just J.C. Brow, brother.
- 55:09[SPEAKER_07]: Um, but yeah, I want to add to what Justin was saying, like, and I mentioned this in a about a couple months ago with Razzle is like, if you haven't watched him film on him, he's insanely athletic for his fight.
- 55:24[SPEAKER_07]: And he's like, six, five.
- 55:26[SPEAKER_07]: Which is he's actually slightly taller than DK Metcalf.
- 55:30[SPEAKER_07]: So the main reason I would bring him in I would love if we took if we got paid at six Maybe whatever took a line minute 24 and if we got him in a second round I think it would be a steal because specifically on goal line
- 55:42[SPEAKER_07]: If you got him and beefed him up a tiny bit, and he came that player where, okay, brazzles and he could be going for that deep fading of cornering six, five, a small jump, corners are going to shruggle tremendously to try to bat that ball down.
- 55:57[SPEAKER_07]: They're not even going for the interception.
- 55:59[SPEAKER_07]: They're going to try to see if they can get up there and swatted away, which is already going to be hard.
- 56:04[SPEAKER_07]: So right away, they're going to like, we got to watch him because they might go for the fade in the corner to the six, five guy that's
- 56:09[SPEAKER_07]: you know, almost six six and can even jump high, you know, he's got a decent vertical I believe, too, for his loyalty.
- 56:16[SPEAKER_05]: You know what, Mountain Mountain was used to that with Mike Evans and Tampa Bay.
- 56:21[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah, that's what he did.
- 56:22[SPEAKER_07]: What if he surprised we actually take him, yeah, absolutely.
- 56:25[SPEAKER_07]: And then also, if, you know, we're on goal line and he comes in and they're like, maybe go there, take gut.
- 56:31[SPEAKER_07]: Juckins run right up the gut.
- 56:34[SPEAKER_07]: And you got to be a linebacker might fade over to that side and then you figure out study that defense of how they pool that linebacker that might help them out over there or that corner of that safety and then you go right to that side and run right up the middle.
- 56:46[SPEAKER_07]: Alright well now you've created a scenario where it could be a serious issue and I think he actually has NFL talent which I was a little skeptical at first but I've watched actually a lot of film on him and I agree with Justin I think he could be a possible huge playmaker for us
- 57:02[SPEAKER_07]: That's all I just wanted to add to what Justin had to say there.
- 57:05[SPEAKER_01]: No, that's great.
- 57:05[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, Chris Browse was one of those guys again.
- 57:08[SPEAKER_01]: It's it is a little not a first round or I don't know.
- 57:12[SPEAKER_03]: Definitely not a first round or he would Yeah, you know, it's what the second end of it right the early second end of I Depending on you know the next few weeks.
- 57:21[SPEAKER_03]: I could see him getting right at the end of the first like tail end Hopefully yep wait first early second.
- 57:28[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, yes, sir
- 57:29[SPEAKER_01]: So, Brazil, I'm just kind of looking through his metrics here, lined up 94% of his routes out wide.
- 57:34[SPEAKER_01]: So, he's pretty much strictly your boundary receiver, and really nice to 0.57 yards per route run.
- 57:41[SPEAKER_01]: Obviously, at 15.78, I do get started down the field.
- 57:45[SPEAKER_01]: Doesn't drop the ball very much.
- 57:46[SPEAKER_01]: The whole contested catch thing.
- 57:47[SPEAKER_01]: He's not as good, he's 7 to 17 for 41% last year at 10 to C. So, not really the high number you would want to see from a guy who's 6 foot 5.
- 57:57[SPEAKER_01]: But, okay.
- 57:59[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, it is what it is.
- 58:01[SPEAKER_01]: I think in certain situations, he's probably okay at that, but I mean, Cardinal Tate was at 86 on most percent.
- 58:07[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, Kai Lem was almost at 67% contested catch.
- 58:10[SPEAKER_01]: He was a freaking beast, but this is going to be interesting to see because we got to get receivers.
- 58:16[SPEAKER_01]: We got to get at least two in this draft and it's going to be interesting to see which ones we end up with.
- 58:22[SPEAKER_07]: Yeah, definitely.
- 58:23[SPEAKER_07]: I would be pretty excited if we would probably isn't going to happen because you know how Andrew barriers, but in my opinion, if we could come out to putting on house, you know, instead of having a trade up or move any or picks around, get tate right off the bat, I almost could care less who we drive for the next three, four, five rounds a week a day.
- 58:38[SPEAKER_07]: I'm so pumped.
- 58:39[SPEAKER_07]: But get a line in at 24 and then just don't no brain or don't over-thecate take Brasal with your early second round pick.
- 58:47[SPEAKER_07]: You got a guy that you just kind of tossed the ball up to.
- 58:49[SPEAKER_07]: You got tape, you know, that can help you drive down the field.
- 58:51[SPEAKER_07]: You got to say a barn who's a speedster, even a slight gadget guy who actually runs very good routes.
- 58:57[SPEAKER_07]: Oh, and then what else?
- 58:57[SPEAKER_07]: You got Harold fain and up the middle.
- 58:59[SPEAKER_03]: I don't know.
- 59:01[SPEAKER_03]: The crazy thing too is
- 59:03[SPEAKER_03]: It will go abandoned like all game plan stuff, but like let's say we take Tate at six.
- 59:09[SPEAKER_03]: If Tyson's there 24.
- 59:11[SPEAKER_03]: I'm turning that card in all day and I'm just saying I don't even care what the offensive line looks like.
- 59:17[SPEAKER_03]: Give me those two guys to start rebuilding this thing with.
- 59:20[SPEAKER_03]: Let's go forget injury history.
- 59:23[SPEAKER_05]: We'll be the first for the game since like 22 24 to do that.
- 59:29[SPEAKER_07]: to re-re-re-re-re-re-re-re-re-re-re-re-re-re-re-re-re-re-re-re-re-re-re-re-re-re-re-re-re-re-re-re-re-re-re-re-re-re-re-re-re-re-re-re-re-re-re-re-re-re-re-re-re-re-re-re-re-re-re-re-re-re-re-re-re-re-re-re-re-re-re-re-re-re-re-re-re-re-re-re-re-re-re-re-re-re-re-re-re-re-re-re-re-re-re-re-re-re-re-re-re-re-re-re-re-re-re-re-re-re-re-
- 59:54[SPEAKER_03]: Um, you know, gave up draft equity to get that pick, but still the kid is crazy talented.
- 1:00:01[SPEAKER_03]: It's just the only thing is the injury history is circle big time.
- 1:00:04[SPEAKER_03]: That is, that'll be the thing where it depends and we'll see what teams really, really think about the injury history.
- 1:00:12[SPEAKER_03]: You throw my Kansas City at nine.
- 1:00:14[SPEAKER_03]: I'm like, oh, boy.
- 1:00:17[SPEAKER_07]: True.
- 1:00:18[SPEAKER_07]: Someone's going to take a risk on them.
- 1:00:19[SPEAKER_07]: I think, I think it's going to happen.
- 1:00:25[SPEAKER_01]: All right, Justin, good hearing from you again, man.
- 1:00:28[SPEAKER_07]: Yeah, thank you.
- 1:00:29[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, take care.
- 1:00:30[SPEAKER_01]: Bye.
- 1:00:30[SPEAKER_01]: Good talking to you, man.
- 1:00:32[SPEAKER_01]: OK, so we are right here about the hour mark.
- 1:00:35[SPEAKER_01]: We'll be wrapping it up.
- 1:00:36[SPEAKER_01]: I think let's address this last question here, NTX Ranger in the chat is asking how we would feel about Caden Proctor, the left tackle from Alabama at pick 24.
- 1:00:48[SPEAKER_01]: Would he fall that far and would you guys want him?
- 1:00:52[SPEAKER_05]: I got Jed Will's Bioders remorse from our band, but so I'm having a hard time with it.
- 1:00:57[SPEAKER_05]: That being said, if you're gonna give me something the one thing that I believe is that yeah, if you have someone that has physical traits that just can't be taught, which he has, and he is on the freak list, man, like he is a rass guy, and six, seven, I believe he's 350 pounds, and he moves like he's 320.
- 1:01:19[SPEAKER_05]: And I'd have a hard time passing that up because I know I have George Marhoff as an online coach.
- 1:01:27[SPEAKER_05]: So that and he's a left tackle.
- 1:01:30[SPEAKER_05]: So it's the biggest gaping hole that we have.
- 1:01:34[SPEAKER_05]: And you're telling me I can get the best physical specimen.
- 1:01:38[SPEAKER_05]: So roll in the dice a little bit because we don't know if it's weight control and all this other stuff.
- 1:01:42[SPEAKER_05]: Said two solid years of playing at Alabama.
- 1:01:48[SPEAKER_05]: Man, I think I'm going to take that if I got paid for sure.
- 1:01:51[SPEAKER_03]: So I'm with you, man.
- 1:01:54[SPEAKER_03]: My thing with him is I just don't think he's going to get to 24.
- 1:01:58[SPEAKER_03]: That's, I see him taking, you know.
- 1:02:03[SPEAKER_03]: earlier than that, I, his talk is actually big time on the rise all of a sudden, there's articles with Todd McShade talking about the Browns are kind of, there's a lot of rumors that the Browns are very interested in with, with Proctor at six, which is, you know, out of nowhere kind of all of a sudden, you know, another report, but in this scenario, like you're asking man, and he's there
- 1:02:31[SPEAKER_03]: The it'd be like how Baltimore's drafts follow them all player of need.
- 1:02:36[SPEAKER_03]: Well, we do need that position badly take it, you know, I feel like Baltimore just has great players just fall to them all day and it's just like up they just are needlessly filling holes with great skilled players and be nice if one of our drafts could fall like that.
- 1:02:52[SPEAKER_01]: It sure would, but we'll see.
- 1:02:56[SPEAKER_01]: And April 23rd, 745 PM, join us guys.
