- 0:07Speaker 1: Great song from Alicia Keys. It would have sounded better
- 0:09Speaker 1: coming off of Nick's victory. But like we said, it
- 0:11Speaker 1: was only one game.
- 0:13Speaker 2: Yes.
- 0:13Speaker 1: But a great night at the Garden last night, getting
- 0:15Speaker 1: their rings and that championship banner. It's 106.7 Light FM
- 0:18Speaker 1: with Cubby, Christine, and producer Kristen. Here we are on
- 0:21Speaker 1: this October 21st. It's Back to the Future Day. It
- 0:25Speaker 1: was in Back to the Future 2 that they time
- 0:28Speaker 1: traveled from 85 to October 21st, 2015. Mm-hmm. Remember how
- 0:34Speaker 1: futuristic 2015 was in 85?
- 0:35Speaker 2: Did they have flying cars? I forget.
- 0:37Speaker 1: Oh, yeah, they did.
- 0:39Speaker 2: Yeah, the thing would just take off and shoot.
- 0:41Speaker 1: And Back to the Future 2 was in 89. So
- 0:45Speaker 1: in 89, they were, you know, looking at 2015. And
- 0:47Speaker 1: now it's just weird to think that we're.
- 0:49Speaker 2: 11 years removed from 2015.
- 0:51Speaker 1: Right. 2015's so old.
- 0:53Speaker 2: We do have self-driving cars.
- 0:55Speaker 1: It's like when Prince 1999 came out in the 80s.
- 0:58Speaker 1: You're like, wow, 1999, it's going to be pretty futuristic.
- 1:01Speaker 1: And now it's come and gone. Yeah. But here we are.
- 1:04Speaker 1: We're back. We come and go every day, but we
- 1:07Speaker 1: managed to make it back. It's just after 6 o'clock
- 1:10Speaker 1: on a hump day. We said goodbye at 10 o'clock
- 1:12Speaker 1: yesterday morning. And you have something to look forward to, Christine.
- 1:16Speaker 1: You did some booking, I heard, overnight.
- 1:17Speaker 2: I did, yes.
- 1:19Speaker 1: Where are you going?
- 1:21Speaker 2: Back to the Christmas markets.
- 1:22Speaker 1: Good for you.
- 1:23Speaker 2: Yes, do you remember I went last year and I
- 1:25Speaker 2: loved it, reunited with my family there. It was just incredible.
- 1:29Speaker 2: So I kind of wanted to get that feeling again.
- 1:33Speaker 2: So I booked a trip. Eric and I are going
- 1:35Speaker 2: to go to Cologne, Christmas markets in Cologne.
- 1:38Speaker 1: That's awesome.
- 1:39Speaker 2: And then Vienna. That's a good trip right there. Oh,
- 1:41Speaker 2: my goodness.
- 1:42Speaker 1: You're going for like a week?
- 1:43Speaker 2: Yeah, just a week, early December. So December is going
- 1:46Speaker 2: to be a little crazy, you know, for us.
- 1:48Speaker 1: Oh, yeah.
- 1:49Speaker 2: I know. Like, that's why I wanted to clear it
- 1:51Speaker 2: with you guys. Are you okay if I leave? Because
- 1:53Speaker 2: we have a lot going on.
- 1:54Speaker 1: You have the days, too.
- 1:55Speaker 2: I have the days. I didn't really do a trip
- 1:57Speaker 2: this summer.
- 1:58Speaker 1: Uh-huh.
- 1:58Speaker 2: So the days were just going to go, bye-bye, if
- 2:00Speaker 2: I didn't use them.
- 2:02Speaker 1: It had a good feeling, though. Yeah. When the trip
- 2:03Speaker 1: is officially booked. Like, you may be thinking about it,
- 2:06Speaker 1: and that gets you excited. But now it's like, click, click, click, boom, done. Done.
- 2:09Speaker 1: And now you have something to look forward to.
- 2:10Speaker 2: And now we can just, right, plan. Like, okay, what
- 2:13Speaker 2: do we need? And, you know, of course, Eric will
- 2:16Speaker 2: say that I overpack, because I do.
- 2:18Speaker 1: But.
- 2:19Speaker 2: As all women do. We need to. You need a
- 2:22Speaker 2: lot of stuff. It's like when you travel in the winter,
- 2:24Speaker 2: you need heavier gear.
- 2:25Speaker 1: Right.
- 2:26Speaker 2: You know, you've got to like pack boots and stuff
- 2:28Speaker 2: like that.
- 2:28Speaker 1: And I always make the underwear joke. Why do we
- 2:30Speaker 1: pack so much underwear when we go on vacation.
- 2:32Speaker 2: As if we're going to poop? Just in case.
- 2:34Speaker 1: Like in our underwear every single day.
- 2:36Speaker 2: I know we pack extra.
- 2:37Speaker 1: I bring backup like I poop by accident. But I don't.
- 2:41Speaker 2: It doesn't happen. I know. We do everything. It's like
- 2:44Speaker 2: you're prepared for every emergency. But thank you so much,
- 2:47Speaker 2: Kelly Brenning. Kelly is our travel agent for years. She's
- 2:50Speaker 2: just been so wonderful.
- 2:51Speaker 1: I love travel agents are still doing their thing.
- 2:53Speaker 2: Oh, yeah.
- 2:54Speaker 1: In this day and age, you would think it'd be
- 2:55Speaker 1: tough because everyone books things on their own. But now
- 2:58Speaker 1: I think there's so many things to think about.
- 3:00Speaker 2: There are.
- 3:00Speaker 1: You need a traveler. Right.
- 3:01Speaker 2: No, she's been incredibly helpful because there's connecting flights that
- 3:05Speaker 2: we need and, you know, even guidance on the hotels.
- 3:08Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 3:08Speaker 2: Because I know you can read the reviews on the hotels,
- 3:10Speaker 2: but sometimes I don't know. It's just it really it
- 3:13Speaker 2: makes a big difference.
- 3:14Speaker 1: And your passports. Last question. Passports are good.
- 3:16Speaker 2: We're good.
- 3:17Speaker 1: Because sometimes you forget about that. You're like, oh, my gosh,
- 3:19Speaker 1: it's expiring.
- 3:20Speaker 2: No, we're good through 2030. What we do have to
- 3:22Speaker 2: do is like there's just a little new thing when
- 3:27Speaker 2: you're going into Europe now that you have to fill
- 3:29Speaker 2: out in advance. You guys probably have done it to travel.
- 3:31Speaker 2: A couple weeks ahead of time, right? Yeah, yeah.
- 3:33Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 3:33Speaker 2: You just make sure you're doing that.
- 3:34Speaker 1: Well, I can't believe it. It's flying by.
- 3:36Speaker 2: And we're talking Christmas.
- 3:38Speaker 1: We're at the end of October soon. And Halloween, Thanksgiving,
- 3:42Speaker 1: holidays are here. It's Light FM.
