  Speaker 1: to reach their hearts and minds and be able to

  Speaker 1: apply these verses to their lives. In the Lord Jesus

  Speaker 1: spirit to take over. But to really help someone else,

  Speaker 1: it really helps you. The joy that you maybe not

  Speaker 1: at first endure after helping someone when you know that

  Speaker 1: they cannot help you back.

  Speaker 2: Knowing that it made their day.

  Speaker 1: In the simplest ways. Not just the big ways. And

  Speaker 1: let's talk about it. Don't we all fall short of

  Speaker 1: God's standards, right? So do we always respect other people? No.

  Speaker 2: Think about other people as more important than ourselves?

  Speaker 1: No. We are selfish at times. And at times it
• 2:36
  Speaker 1: is very well needed. It's very well needed. But I've
• 2:41
  Speaker 1: come to realize that being a follower of Christ over
• 2:45
  Speaker 1: being just a believer, and I'm not I'm not watering
• 2:49
  Speaker 1: down just believing. Because I was once just a believer too.
• 2:53
  Speaker 1: And now I follow. Because I know that just believing.
• 2:56
  Speaker 1: It's not going to be enough. But knowing that. How
• 3:02
  Speaker 1: I treat others. Is a reflection of how he treats me.

  Speaker 1: So I have to give it. I have to give
• 3:11
  Speaker 1: it to you. How he gives it to me. This

  Speaker 1: is not something that we're. I also just, it's given

  Speaker 1: When you start to deal with somebody that you know

  Speaker 1: you're not getting along with or whatever the case may be,

  Speaker 1: you don't click or there's bad blood, just treat them

  Speaker 1: as Jesus would treat them.

  Speaker 2: And watch how.

  Speaker 1: Annoyed they get, you know, and at the end of
• 4:11
  Speaker 1: the day, you know, killing with kindness Sometimes it does
• 4:15
  Speaker 1: something else, though. There's another effect. It's not necessarily killing them.

  Speaker 1: It's showing them kindness. Showing them compassion. Whether it's for
• 4:33
  Speaker 1: them or for others, and they see that. Sometimes it's
• 4:38
  Speaker 1: a jealousy thing. I've dealt with it. You've dealt with it.

  Speaker 1: Do you want to know who's more jealous than us.
• 4:46
  Speaker 1: When it comes to each other. Jesus for.
• 4:51
  Speaker 2: For us. And God just being like. The one. That really.
• 4:58
  Speaker 2: It gets under. Minded.

  Speaker 1: Because of all the. There's so many different words we
• 5:16
  Speaker 1: could use. But there's such a standard of living, a
• 5:20
  Speaker 1: way of living in this world that a lot of
• 5:25
  Speaker 1: us cannot even live up to, but we try our
• 5:27
  Speaker 1: hardest to. We try to have friends. We try to
• 5:33
  Speaker 1: be sociable. And not saying that these things are bad, but.
• 5:42
  Speaker 2: It's almost.

  Speaker 1: idle time, wasting time. There's a balance too as well
• 5:50
  Speaker 1: when it comes to believing and following Christ.
• 5:53
  Speaker 2: There's a balance.
• 5:59
  Speaker 1: Jesus wants to spend time with you as well and

  Speaker 1: the things that you enjoy like you spend time with him,
• 6:09
  Speaker 1: what he enjoys. Glorifying his father. His God. Our God.

  Speaker 2: Jesus. Is my son.
• 6:27
  Speaker 1: God saying right. And the Holy Spirit. Is right there too.
• 6:35
  Speaker 1: But they had to be done.
• 6:38
  Speaker 2: In order.
• 6:40
  Speaker 1: God Jesus. Then the Holy Spirit came. So there's a
• 6:45
  Speaker 1: process to our lives as well. We're an infant. We
• 6:49
  Speaker 1: come in, and I'm not just always talking about age.
• 6:51
  Speaker 1: I'm talking about our walk with God. We come in
• 6:55
  Speaker 1: as an infant. Then we come in a teenager. Then
• 6:58
  Speaker 1: a young adult. And then an adult. And then an elder.

  Speaker 1: That's why so many people that may get to that elder.
• 7:08
  Speaker 1: And they're in the churches. And they volunteer in their
• 7:11
  Speaker 1: time Their smile. Their energy. You don't know what it
• 7:17
  Speaker 1: took for them to even get up and make it
• 7:19
  Speaker 1: there on time. It's a beautiful thing. It's a beautiful thing.

  Speaker 1: When you can bring heaven down to earth no matter
• 7:28
  Speaker 1: where you're at. No matter what your circumstances are. Whether
• 7:33
  Speaker 1: it's by putting praise music on.
• 7:35
  Speaker 2: Reading the word. Or the most important thing. Prayer.
• 7:40
  Speaker 1: Praying to the Holy Spirit. That Jesus comes through. And
• 7:48
  Speaker 1: I'm going to speak it as. I'm speaking to you.

  Speaker 1: You have the opportunity. To be able to have that
• 7:59
  Speaker 1: relationship with Jesus Christ. Through the Holy Spirit. Once you're

  Speaker 1: in here. There's so many different things that I could
• 8:13
  Speaker 1: say spiritually, whether I'm preaching or I'm letting the Spirit
• 8:18
  Speaker 1: speak through me. At the end of the day, we
• 8:22
  Speaker 1: all have a superpower. It's a power of choice. What
• 8:28
  Speaker 1: we do with our 24 hours in a day, what
• 8:31
  Speaker 1: we're putting through our ears... What we're looking at with
• 8:35
  Speaker 1: our eyes, what we're saying to ourselves, what we're saying to.
• 8:40
  Speaker 2: Others matters more now than ever.
• 8:47
  Speaker 1: Especially if you, the listener, is above 25 years old.
• 8:51
  Speaker 1: Life is getting real. And those that are older, borrowed
• 8:58
  Speaker 1: time is real. So I look at God's plan for

  Speaker 1: my life, and it is definitely not for me to
• 9:08
  Speaker 1: be in poverty, to ever be poor again. And it's
• 9:12
  Speaker 1: not about all just financially. It's all about character. It's
• 9:15
  Speaker 1: all about sense of humor. It's all about humility. It's
• 9:19
  Speaker 1: all about connection. It's all about the openness to be
• 9:25
  Speaker 1: able to meet new people and be around strangers again.
• 9:31
  Speaker 1: the same common goals and the same ambitions. I know
• 9:38
  Speaker 1: who's real and who's not when it comes to not
• 9:40
  Speaker 1: just following Christ, but living right and want to do
• 9:44
  Speaker 1: something with their lives because I don't spend a lot
• 9:46
  Speaker 1: of time with a lot of people. I can be
• 9:50
  Speaker 1: in a room full of a lot of people. That
• 9:53
  Speaker 1: doesn't mean that I am of those people. They are
• 9:56
  Speaker 1: not of me. We are our own.

  Speaker 2: Existence. Just like we create our own. Destiny.

  Speaker 1: With God's. With God's plan. I can go on and

  Speaker 1: on about it. But I really want to. dive in

  Speaker 1: just a little bit deeper. Do not think only about
• 10:23
  Speaker 1: the things that you want to do for yourself. Each
• 10:26
  Speaker 1: of you should think about also about how you can
• 10:31
  Speaker 1: help other people. Think about things in the same way
• 10:36
  Speaker 1: that Christ Jesus thought. He had the same nature as God.
• 10:43
  Speaker 1: He was completely equal with God. But he did not
• 10:47
  Speaker 1: try to keep a hold of that. Instead, He chose
• 10:51
  Speaker 1: to leave heaven. He took for himself. The nature of
• 10:55
  Speaker 1: a slave. He was born as a human. And I
• 10:58
  Speaker 1: can go on and on. A long story short. A
• 11:05
  Speaker 1: savior had to come down. And leave his spirit here. And.
• 11:13
  Speaker 1: I'm so grateful that. I've been able to connect with that.
• 11:17
  Speaker 1: Holy Spirit. Each and every day. Because I choose. To
• 11:25
  Speaker 1: not only believe. But follow. And I do not look
• 11:30
  Speaker 1: down upon anybody. That does not believe. That does not follow.
• 11:39
  Speaker 1: Because I was once there. I have compassion for people.
• 11:44
  Speaker 1: Because the spirit lives in me.
• 11:46
  Speaker 2: Amen.

  Speaker 1: So let's see where I'm at at the time normally.

  Speaker 1: I kind of get away from myself a little bit.

  Speaker 1: being homeless. And never being hopeless. Because God had a

  Speaker 1: plan for me. And I say a plan. Because I
• 12:34
  Speaker 1: came up with all these other plans. And God said
• 12:37
  Speaker 1: I have one plan for you. And if you follow through.
• 12:41
  Speaker 1: And you do what the plan says for you to do.
• 12:46
  Speaker 1: You will get what your heart desires. And sometimes earlier gifts,
• 12:52
  Speaker 1: we might fumble. But this time, realizing that what God
• 12:56
  Speaker 1: has for you, God has for you. But you have
• 12:58
  Speaker 1: to take care of it as well. You have to
• 13:00
  Speaker 1: become all you can become. And not beat yourself up
• 13:06
  Speaker 1: for the timeline. Thinking that you are behind on time.
• 13:13
  Speaker 2: And....

  Speaker 1: I got less than two minutes. I want to give

  Speaker 1: you this opportunity. If you have never accepted Lord Jesus

  Speaker 1: Christ as your Lord and Savior, I highly encourage you

  Speaker 1: to repeat after me. Jesus, I come to you. Please

  Speaker 1: be the Lord and Savior of my life. Forgive me
• 13:37
  Speaker 1: for everything that I have done wrong. Help me become
• 13:41
  Speaker 1: brand new in my heart, my mind. In the Lord
• 13:46

  Speaker 1: But find a small group. Of Bible study. If you

  Speaker 1: need recovery. AA is beautiful. NA is beautiful. Celebrate recovery

  Speaker 1: is beautiful. You got to find what works for you.

  Speaker 2: I can't tell you. We all have.

  Speaker 1: Our. hiccups, our hang-ups, our shortcomings, but we all can

  Speaker 1: come together, just like all the disciples in the boat,
• 14:24
  Speaker 1: but Jesus was sleeping. We can all be in chaos,
• 14:29
  Speaker 1: and then eventually we realize that the King is in
• 14:33
  Speaker 1: the boat with us. king is always with us with
• 14:36
  Speaker 1: the holy spirit amen and if you don't feel it
• 14:39
  Speaker 1: that's okay that doesn't mean that god's not behind the
• 14:43
  Speaker 1: scenes working things out in your favor just hang on
• 14:48
