- 0:00Speaker 1: Hey everybody, welcome to Vince on a Thursday. It is
- 0:04Speaker 1: so good to have you with us as always. We've
- 0:06Speaker 1: got a big show ahead for you. The president of
- 0:09Speaker 1: the United States is using a phrase that I've been
- 0:11Speaker 1: encouraging him to straight up invoke, the Insurrection Act. We'll
- 0:16Speaker 1: talk about what just took place in Minnesota overnight, more
- 0:19Speaker 1: chaos there, as the president says, it is time to
- 0:23Speaker 1: tackle it. Will he do it? We're encouraging him. We'll
- 0:27Speaker 1: talk about it. It's all ahead. We'll also be joined
- 0:29Speaker 1: by the Heritage Foundation's Dr. Kevin Roberts. A lot to
- 0:32Speaker 1: talk about with him and a lot more to get
- 0:34Speaker 1: to all on the show ahead. But first, I want
- 0:37Speaker 1: to thank the great sponsors of this program. I want
- 0:38Speaker 1: to talk to you about something I've been watching very closely.
- 0:41Speaker 1: Will the Fed cut rates again this quarter? Everybody's got
- 0:46Speaker 1: an opinion on that subject, but I like checking the
- 0:48Speaker 1: actual market sentiment on Kaoshi. I've got their app on
- 0:53Speaker 1: my phone, and the odds are saying that, you know,
- 0:57Speaker 1: are taking a look at this thing right now, and
- 0:58Speaker 1: everyone's placing their guesses as to whether or not this
- 1:02Speaker 1: is actually going to happen. And honestly, I do think
- 1:05Speaker 1: it's going to happen. I think they're going to make
- 1:06Speaker 1: another cut. We'll see. Cal State is one of the
- 1:08Speaker 1: only places where you can trade on real-world events in
- 1:11Speaker 1: all 50 states. It's not just politics or economics. They've
- 1:14Speaker 1: got markets on everything from inflation numbers to sports to
- 1:18Speaker 1: pop culture. I like using Cal State to track the
- 1:20Speaker 1: odds and see what people are betting on. It's like
- 1:22Speaker 1: getting a pulse on what the world thinks is going
- 1:24Speaker 1: to happen. You can go to Kalshi.com slash Vince and
- 1:27Speaker 1: get a free $ 10 credit when you trade $ 100. That's Kalshi.com
- 1:31Speaker 1: slash Vince. Once again, Kalshi.com slash Vince. K-A-L-S-H-I.com slash Vince.
- 1:38Speaker 1: You must be 21 and the purchaser must be present
- 1:40Speaker 1: in the state where the trade is placed. See important
- 1:43Speaker 1: disclosures at Kalshi.com. Kalshi is subject to U.S. regulatory oversight
- 1:47Speaker 1: by the CFTC. Unbelievable. Just the violence, the chaos, the
- 1:59Speaker 1: rioting once again in Minneapolis overnight, more pandemonium. And here's
- 2:03Speaker 1: how this thing begins. Yesterday, we find out from Tricia McLaughlin,
- 2:07Speaker 1: a spokeswoman at the Department of Homeland Security, that federal
- 2:11Speaker 1: agents were attempting to arrest a man from Venezuela. I
- 2:15Speaker 1: think you can safely assume illegal alien who was, of course,
- 2:18Speaker 1: in the country illegally. The New York Times confirms in
- 2:21Speaker 1: a targeted traffic stop at around 650. last night, 6.50 p.m.
- 2:28Speaker 1: local time. She said that he fled from agents. He
- 2:32Speaker 1: made a break for it. When the officer caught up
- 2:35Speaker 1: to him, Trisha McLaughlin explained, he began to resist and
- 2:40Speaker 1: violently assaulted the officer. That is when two more people
- 2:45Speaker 1: came out of a building, and along with the man
- 2:48Speaker 1: who they were trying to take into custody, the illegal Venezuelan,
- 2:51Speaker 1: began attacking the ICE officer with a snow shovel and
- 2:55Speaker 1: a broom handle. They began striking the officer. So now
- 2:59Speaker 1: it's three on one. They've got weapons. What does the
- 3:02Speaker 1: officer do? Well, they say he feared for his life
- 3:05Speaker 1: and he fired shots and he struck the man, the illegal,
- 3:10Speaker 1: who the agents were trying to take into custody, in
- 3:12Speaker 1: the leg, said Tricia McLaughlin. So what happened after that
- 3:16Speaker 1: is the agent and the man, the illegal alien, I'm
- 3:19Speaker 1: reading from the New York Times, that's why I keep
- 3:20Speaker 1: saying man, The agent and the illegal who was shot
- 3:24Speaker 1: are now in the hospital, DHS says. And the other
- 3:28Speaker 1: two people who were a part of attacking the ICE
- 3:30Speaker 1: agent have been taken into custody. That was the precipitating
- 3:34Speaker 1: event to all of the chaos that took place in
- 3:35Speaker 1: Minneapolis last night. So an ICE agent just trying to
- 3:38Speaker 1: do his job, take a violent Venezuelan illegal alien into custody.
- 3:42Speaker 1: The illegal alien begins to attack the ICE officer after
- 3:45Speaker 1: attempting to flee in the first place. and then is
- 3:47Speaker 1: joined by two other people. We have no idea what
- 3:49Speaker 1: their status is, who they are, but they come out,
- 3:52Speaker 1: and all of a sudden, all of these people are
- 3:53Speaker 1: attacking this ICE officer, including with weapons, broom handles and
- 3:57Speaker 1: snow shovels. So the ICE officer defends himself, shoots the
- 4:01Speaker 1: dude in the leg. So why are people even rioting
- 4:03Speaker 1: at all? The guy shot him in the leg. Isn't
- 4:06Speaker 1: that what Joe Biden told people that cops should do?
- 4:09Speaker 1: Cut 11. You remember this? Here's Joe. And the idea
- 4:14Speaker 1: that instead of Standing there and teaching a cop when
- 4:17Speaker 1: there's an unarmed person coming at him with a knife
- 4:20Speaker 1: or something and shooting him.
- 4:21Speaker 2: In the leg instead of in the heart is a
- 4:23Speaker 2: very different thing.
- 4:24Speaker 1: There's a lot of different things that can change. Yeah,
- 4:28Speaker 1: the old Joe Biden rule. Shoot him in the leg.
- 4:30Speaker 1: Why are we shooting people center mass? No more of that.
- 4:33Speaker 1: Cops should be shooting people in the legs. OK, so
- 4:36Speaker 1: an ICE agent shot somebody in the leg. Now what?
- 4:38Speaker 1: You're going to stop rioting? Oh, no, no. Things got really,
- 4:42Speaker 1: really crazy overnight in Minneapolis. Watch here as anti-ice protesters
- 4:48Speaker 1: and federal agents have to square off. Just craziness. Last
- 4:52Speaker 1: night in Minneapolis, cut four. Here's some of the imagery.
- 4:56Speaker 1: You have crowd dispersal techniques. Boom, boom, boom. Flashbangs going off.
- 5:02Speaker 1: Tear gas being deployed. This is rioting is happening all
- 5:08Speaker 1: over the place in Minneapolis. Just crazy. And so that
- 5:12Speaker 1: takes place last night. And then, additionally, the mob began
- 5:16Speaker 1: breaking into federal vehicles and stealing documents from federal law enforcement.
- 5:22Speaker 1: Cut five. Watch this. Again, this is all just because
- 5:24Speaker 1: the illegal-owned fled cops and attacked them. Their whole battle, like,
- 5:27Speaker 1: their battle plan out here, I guess.
- 5:31Speaker 3: They got a hold of ICE's entire, like, game plan
- 5:36Speaker 3: for Minneapolis, they said, in a packet.
- 5:39Speaker 1: That's what Status Quo was reading. No, it doesn't make sense.
- 5:48Speaker 3: Okay, so that's what Status Coup might have been reading
- 5:50Speaker 3: on their stream then.
- 5:51Speaker 1: So you hear what he's saying. So thank you for
- 5:54Speaker 1: that clip, guys. So you hear what he's saying there.
- 5:57Speaker 1: He's like, look, they break into federal law enforcement vehicles.
- 6:01Speaker 1: They grab documents out of the car, and then they
- 6:04Speaker 1: begin reading them over their live streams. He was referring
- 6:07Speaker 1: to Status Coup. They were reading over their live streams.
- 6:11Speaker 1: the various logistical details that this law enforcement had inside
- 6:16Speaker 1: of its vehicle. So that's what the mob was doing
- 6:19Speaker 1: last night. And not only are they seizing documents and
- 6:22Speaker 1: then disseminating this law enforcement activity to the public, they're
- 6:26Speaker 1: also ripping out the weapons lockers from the federal vehicles
- 6:30Speaker 1: that they're breaking into. Some of these vehicles, of course,
- 6:32Speaker 1: have a locker in the back to keep guns and
- 6:36Speaker 1: other important items. And here's the mob ripping a weapons
- 6:39Speaker 1: locker directly out of a federal vehicle last night and
- 6:42Speaker 1: failing to crack it open. Cut sticks. Watch this. They
- 6:49Speaker 1: strap it to the back of a truck. They put
- 6:52Speaker 1: a tow rope around it. They yank it directly out
- 6:55Speaker 1: of the back of the vehicle. And the mob jumps
- 6:59Speaker 1: all over it. It's like just a bunch of animals.
- 7:04Speaker 1: And they have no idea. One of the wild things
- 7:06Speaker 1: about this video is just how low IQ everybody who's
- 7:08Speaker 1: involved is. They don't know how to open a box
- 7:11Speaker 1: with a lock on it. Yeah, because it's locked, dummies.
- 7:13Speaker 1: And they begin jumping and kicking it. Jumping on it
- 7:17Speaker 1: and kicking it. Is that going to open a locked safe?
- 7:20Speaker 1: Are you people really that stupid? And the answer, of course,
- 7:24Speaker 1: is yes. So many of the people on the ground
- 7:27Speaker 1: are really that stupid. The collective IQ of that group.
- 7:31Speaker 1: Probably doesn't break triple digits. We're probably still around room
- 7:34Speaker 1: temperature for everybody here. Look at this. And then they
- 7:37Speaker 1: start trying to pound the lock with a hammer, and
- 7:40Speaker 1: that doesn't work. And at one point, some dude picks
- 7:42Speaker 1: up the safe and then throws it on the ground,
- 7:44Speaker 1: thinking that the safe is going to open. And then finally,
- 7:48Speaker 1: they meander away because they failed to defeat the padlock
- 7:52Speaker 1: on a safe. And then they're like, I don't think
- 7:55Speaker 1: there's anything in there anyway. So then they just surrender.
- 7:58Speaker 1: These are not the toughest opponents ever. I just want
- 8:01Speaker 1: to be clear. They're not the smartest. It is possible
- 8:04Speaker 1: to tackle all of this. It really is. In fact,
- 8:07Speaker 1: the Trump administration last night deployed the Bureau of Prisons.
- 8:11Speaker 1: The Bureau of Prisons officers, in the absence of the
- 8:14Speaker 1: Minneapolis Police Department being of any use last night, the
- 8:18Speaker 1: Trump administration deployed the Bureau of Prisons to restore order.
- 8:21Speaker 1: Take a look. Cut seven Bureau of Prisons officials showing up.
- 8:24Speaker 1: And you can tell because it says it right on
- 8:26Speaker 1: their name tags.
- 8:27Speaker 2: Look.
- 8:28Speaker 1: Cut seven. Yeah, Bureau of Prisons. What does it say
- 8:35Speaker 1: on there? Oh, Federal Officer Bureau of Prisons. So these
- 8:38Speaker 1: guys would normally train to look after prisoners and stop
- 8:44Speaker 1: prison riots. Here they are trying to stop a riot
- 8:48Speaker 1: in the streets of the United States of America. That's
- 8:51Speaker 1: what they were up to last night. You see those
- 8:54Speaker 1: guys holding a pepper spray and police batons. They're wearing helmets.
- 8:58Speaker 1: They got tear gas canisters strapped up. These guys trying
- 9:02Speaker 1: to put down the mob last night, the riot, certainly
- 9:07Speaker 1: called into action and stepping up in the moment of need.
- 9:09Speaker 1: But this just continues, right? This happens in Minneapolis. And
- 9:13Speaker 1: it's happening with the encouragement of local officials who think
- 9:17Speaker 1: it's just absolutely wonderful. They're all in on this kind
- 9:21Speaker 1: of chaos. And boy, they hate you. They hate the
- 9:24Speaker 1: American people. They hate the federal government. They hate law
- 9:27Speaker 1: and order. Here's the mayor of Minneapolis last night. Again,
- 9:30Speaker 1: this is all brand new information. It's crazy that we
- 9:32Speaker 1: have a new news cycle on this subject every day,
- 9:35Speaker 1: and it's more miserable than the last. Here's Jacob Fry,
- 9:38Speaker 1: the mayor of Minneapolis, whining last night about federal agents
- 9:42Speaker 1: cleaning up his city. Take a look.
- 9:45Speaker 4: Imagine if that city or that town was suddenly invaded
- 9:51Speaker 4: by thousands of federal agents that do not share the
- 9:55Speaker 4: values that you hold dear. Imagine if your daily routines
- 9:59Speaker 4: were disrupted. The local cafe that you eat at was
- 10:04Speaker 4: shut down because they're scared that their own family might
- 10:07Speaker 4: get torn apart. Imagine if schools shut down and suddenly
- 10:12Speaker 4: parents got to figure out what to do for daycare.
- 10:17Speaker 1: Are you serious? Are you listening to anything he's saying?
- 10:20Speaker 1: He's like, oh, just imagine if your state was invaded. Now,
- 10:24Speaker 1: he's saying by ICE. You know a state that's been invaded? Minnesota.
- 10:28Speaker 1: You know a city that's been invaded? Minneapolis. You know
- 10:31Speaker 1: by whom? Illegal aliens who should not be in our
- 10:34Speaker 1: country at all. And then he goes on to say, like,
- 10:36Speaker 1: what are parents going to do if they need to
- 10:38Speaker 1: take their kids out of school and send them to daycare? Daycare?
- 10:42Speaker 1: You want to talk about daycare in Minnesota? The daycare
- 10:46Speaker 1: system in Minnesota is rife with fraud. Somalis have been
- 10:49Speaker 1: stealing money to the tune of $ 9, $ 10, upwards of
- 10:52Speaker 1: $ 20 billion. And you're talking about daycare? Please, you're disgusting.
- 10:57Speaker 1: You're disgusting. And Jacob Fry, how else can you look
- 11:01Speaker 1: at this other than he's advancing evil? The soy boy
- 11:04Speaker 1: mayor is the face of evil in Minneapolis. And then
- 11:07Speaker 1: you've got the limp-wristed governor of the state, Tampon Tim Walz,
- 11:11Speaker 1: who last night, even before the rioting, he gave an
- 11:14Speaker 1: address to the nation urging Minnesotans to accost ICE wherever
- 11:19Speaker 1: they go. Listen to Cut 9. Here's Tim Walz last
- 11:23Speaker 1: night amidst the rioting even ahead of it.
- 11:26Speaker 5: Tonight, I want to share another way you can help.
- 11:29Speaker 1: Witness.
- 11:30Speaker 5: Help us establish a record of exactly what's happening in
- 11:33Speaker 5: our communities. You have an absolute right to peacefully film
- 11:37Speaker 5: ICE agents as they conduct these activities. So carry your
- 11:41Speaker 5: phone with you at all times. And if you see
- 11:44Speaker 5: these ICE agents in your neighborhood, take out that phone
- 11:47Speaker 5: and hit record. Help us create a database of the
- 11:50Speaker 5: atrocities against Minnesotans, not just to establish a record for posterity,
- 11:56Speaker 5: but to bank evidence for future prosecution.
- 12:00Speaker 1: Atrocities to bank evidence for future prosecution. These are criminals,
- 12:05Speaker 1: says Tampon Tim Walz, the governor of an entire state.
- 12:09Speaker 1: creating more conflict against federal law enforcement who are doing
- 12:12Speaker 1: the job and what job are they doing they're taking
- 12:16Speaker 1: rapists off the street they're taking child sodomizers off the
- 12:19Speaker 1: street they're taking murderers off the street they're getting illegal
- 12:21Speaker 1: aliens out of our country and they're making our country
- 12:24Speaker 1: safer and on whose side do you stand tampon tim
- 12:28Speaker 1: wallace Or Mayor Soyboy, where are you guys standing? You're
- 12:31Speaker 1: standing on the side of the criminals. That's what you're doing.
- 12:34Speaker 1: And then for him last night, he thinks he's being
- 12:36Speaker 1: so clever. He's like, just get out there very peacefully.
- 12:39Speaker 1: Record ICE as they do their jobs. You know what
- 12:42Speaker 1: he's calling for. This is like the cleanest, clearest dog
- 12:45Speaker 1: whistle ever heard. The guy's telling people, accost ICE officers.
- 12:49Speaker 1: Get in their faces. Make their jobs more miserable. Record them,
- 12:54Speaker 1: act like they're the bad guys, try and basically hector
- 12:57Speaker 1: them away from this community. Do everything you can to
- 13:00Speaker 1: prevent federal law enforcement from doing the job that the
- 13:04Speaker 1: American people want them to do. That's what Tim Walz
- 13:07Speaker 1: is calling for. So we've got an insurrection on our hands.
- 13:12Speaker 1: I've been as crystal clear about this from the moment
- 13:14Speaker 1: it began as you can possibly be. This is an insurrection.
- 13:19Speaker 1: and the President of the United States should invoke the
- 13:22Speaker 1: Insurrection Act. The Insurrection Act dates back to the early 1800s.
- 13:26Speaker 1: It is a law that allows the President of the
- 13:30Speaker 1: United States to restore order where there is none, where
- 13:34Speaker 1: insurrection is taking place in the United States of America.
- 13:38Speaker 1: And invariably throughout U.S. history, that includes government officials who
- 13:42Speaker 1: betrayed their oaths of office and have either declared war
- 13:46Speaker 1: or implicitly are waging one against the people of the
- 13:49Speaker 1: United States. In other words, they're staging an insurrection. The
- 13:52Speaker 1: Insurrection Act has been invoked 30 times in American history,
- 13:56Speaker 1: 30 times. And the only time governors have ever protested it,
- 14:01Speaker 1: they've all been Democrats, whether it's Orval Faubus or George Wallace.
- 14:06Speaker 1: It's always Democrats who oppose the invocation of the Insurrection
- 14:10Speaker 1: Act to restore order in the United States of America.
- 14:14Speaker 1: In fact, no Republican governor in American history has ever
- 14:20Speaker 1: objected to the invocation of the Insurrection Act to put
- 14:25Speaker 1: down an insurrection in their own state. No Republican has
- 14:27Speaker 1: ever objected to it. Democrats routinely. And we're seeing it
- 14:32Speaker 1: again in this century. Tim Walz opposes President Trump's invocation
- 14:37Speaker 1: of the Insurrection Act. He said it many times. Don't
- 14:40Speaker 1: send the troops in. Don't try and restore order. Don't
- 14:44Speaker 1: help us at all. But help needs to be on
- 14:47Speaker 1: the way. And we got some indications overnight that the
- 14:51Speaker 1: Trump administration is definitely moving towards something. Now, I got
- 14:56Speaker 1: to be honest, dissatisfied that we're already not at that something.
- 15:00Speaker 1: I'd like to see it happen yesterday, a long time ago.
- 15:03Speaker 1: But here's the progress we've got right now. Last night,
- 15:07Speaker 1: Todd Blanche, who is the deputy attorney general of the
- 15:11Speaker 1: United States Department of Justice, posted on X that he
- 15:18Speaker 1: is now seriously going after Jacob Fry and Tim Walz.
- 15:24Speaker 1: Here's what Todd Blanch said. He said, ICE operates in
- 15:26Speaker 1: thousands of counties without incident. Thousands of counties. Men and
- 15:31Speaker 1: women doing their jobs protecting us from criminal aliens. Minnesota's
- 15:37Speaker 1: insurrection is a direct result of a failed governor and
- 15:40Speaker 1: a terrible mayor encouraging violence against law enforcement. It's disgusting,
- 15:47Speaker 1: says Todd Blanche. He's right. He's right. All of this
- 15:49Speaker 1: is correct. All of this is unimpeachably correct. He says,
- 15:53Speaker 1: Tim Walls and Jacob Fry, I'm focused on stopping you
- 15:59Speaker 1: from your terrorism by whatever means necessary. This is not
- 16:06Speaker 1: a threat. It is a promise. Now, For the deputy
- 16:12Speaker 1: attorney general to say this of the United States Department
- 16:15Speaker 1: of Justice, not a small thing. What we now have
- 16:18Speaker 1: is the second in command at the Justice Department openly
- 16:23Speaker 1: referring to Tim Walz and Jacob Fry as insurrectionists. And
- 16:29Speaker 1: he's accusing them of terrorism. He says, I want to
- 16:33Speaker 1: stop you from your terrorism by whatever means necessary. He says,
- 16:38Speaker 1: this is not a threat. It's a promise. Fine. A
- 16:44Speaker 1: promise of what? What happens next? What is the United
- 16:50Speaker 1: States Department of Justice going to do about this? What
- 16:54Speaker 1: can be done that's within the control of the United
- 16:57Speaker 1: States Department of Justice? Will you be bringing charges against
- 17:02Speaker 1: the governor of the state? Will you bring charges against
- 17:04Speaker 1: the mayor of the city of Minneapolis? Perhaps you'll bring
- 17:07Speaker 1: charges against people like Keith Ellison, the attorney general of
- 17:10Speaker 1: the state. who's been caught on tape collaborating with criminals
- 17:14Speaker 1: who are defrauding the taxpayers of not just Minneapolis, but
- 17:17Speaker 1: the United States. Are there going to be charges? Do
- 17:22Speaker 1: you have the attorneys you need? If you don't, what
- 17:25Speaker 1: help do you need from us to get them? We're
- 17:28Speaker 1: all in this together. This is our country. What do
- 17:31Speaker 1: you need from us to make this happen? Just tell us.
- 17:34Speaker 1: We'll help you. This audience stands by to help you.
- 17:37Speaker 1: Whatever you need, just tell us. Who do we need
- 17:40Speaker 1: to contact? Who do we need to browbeat? Say the word.
- 17:43Speaker 1: We're in. And it's not just the deputy attorney general
- 17:47Speaker 1: of the United States who's now sounding the alarm in
- 17:51Speaker 1: this way. President Trump this morning has added his voice
- 17:55Speaker 1: to this subject. 8.04 a.m. Eastern time this morning. President
- 17:59Speaker 1: Trump consuming everything I just shared with you, the scenes
- 18:01Speaker 1: of rioting in Minneapolis, just the atrocious behavior of the
- 18:07Speaker 1: Democrats who lead that city and state. Here's what he
- 18:10Speaker 1: said today on Truth Social. If the corrupt politicians of
- 18:14Speaker 1: Minnesota don't obey the law and stop the professional agitators
- 18:19Speaker 1: and insurrectionists from attacking the patriots of ICE, who are
- 18:23Speaker 1: only trying to do their job, I will institute the
- 18:27Speaker 1: Insurrection Act, which many presidents have done before me, and
- 18:32Speaker 1: quickly put an end to the travesty that is taking
- 18:35Speaker 1: place in that once great state. Thank you for your
- 18:39Speaker 1: attention to this matter. President D.J.T. I love President Trump.
- 18:47Speaker 1: Greatest president of my lifetime. I have so much to
- 18:50Speaker 1: be thankful for about his administration. But this one's always
- 18:54Speaker 1: bugged me. President Trump has brought up the Insurrection Act
- 18:57Speaker 1: many times. Many times he's brought it up. President Trump
- 19:02Speaker 1: has never once invoked the Insurrection Act. Has he deployed
- 19:07Speaker 1: troops to help try and bring about peace to America's cities? Yes,
- 19:10Speaker 1: and he's engaged in all sorts of legal battles, including
- 19:13Speaker 1: with the governor of California and other states, as he
- 19:16Speaker 1: attempts to do that. Has he deployed the National Guard? Yes,
- 19:19Speaker 1: he has. He's attempted to restore peace in America's cities
- 19:24Speaker 1: through using all sorts of resources that he has access
- 19:26Speaker 1: to as the president of the United States. But up
- 19:30Speaker 1: until now, and including now, he still has never invoked
- 19:33Speaker 1: the Insurrection Act. There's a theory in Washington one of
- 19:37Speaker 1: the reasons he hasn't done it is because that Republicans
- 19:41Speaker 1: or perhaps President Trump himself are worried about the political
- 19:44Speaker 1: consequences of invoking the Insurrection Act, that somehow the American
- 19:48Speaker 1: people would turn against him. if he did that, and
- 19:51Speaker 1: that it would be to his detriment in the midterms.
- 19:54Speaker 1: I'm here to tell you that it is to your
- 19:56Speaker 1: detriment not to restore order. Why do you think the
- 19:59Speaker 1: left wages so much chaos? Why do you think they
- 20:02Speaker 1: choose election years to do it? What was happening in 2020?
- 20:05Speaker 1: The George Floyd riot's were designed to leave an impression
- 20:10Speaker 1: in the mind of the American voter that nobody was
- 20:13Speaker 1: in charge in this country, that the chaos would redound
- 20:17Speaker 1: to the consequence. It would hurt and become a liability for,
- 20:21Speaker 1: and it certainly did for President Trump, that he owned
- 20:24Speaker 1: the chaos by virtue of the fact that it was
- 20:27Speaker 1: happening while he was president of the United States. The
- 20:29Speaker 1: left intended that to be the impression that voters were
- 20:31Speaker 1: left with, and some definitely were. The consequences of allowing
- 20:36Speaker 1: chaos to continue Politically are far greater than the benefit
- 20:43Speaker 1: than any sort of political liability that might come from
- 20:45Speaker 1: restoring order. And the other thing to remember is exactly
- 20:49Speaker 1: what President Trump just said in this post. Many presidents
- 20:52Speaker 1: have done this before him. He's right about that. If
- 20:55Speaker 1: you read any of the covers this morning that is
- 20:57Speaker 1: talking about President Trump, they don't tell you that they
- 21:01Speaker 1: spend a lot of time saying things like I swear
- 21:03Speaker 1: to you, I read legacy news covers this morning and
- 21:05Speaker 1: I was like, these people are are. either liars or
- 21:08Speaker 1: completely ignorant, they'll say things, they'll reference the fact that
- 21:12Speaker 1: the Insurrection Act is a law that dates back to
- 21:16Speaker 1: 1808 or whatever year it was passed originally, as if
- 21:18Speaker 1: it's so antiquated, I can't even believe President Trump is
- 21:21Speaker 1: attempting to use it. That's the implication that they're trying
- 21:24Speaker 1: to leave the reader with. Or they'll say things like,
- 21:27Speaker 1: which requires the governor to request assistance in order to
- 21:33Speaker 1: put down the insurrection in their state. Yeah, no, that's
- 21:36Speaker 1: not true either. I've already explained this. Democrat governors have routinely, routinely,
- 21:43Speaker 1: oftentimes in the interest of advancing segregation and racial hatred,
- 21:47Speaker 1: have routinely advanced insurrections and rejected the president's invocation of
- 21:52Speaker 1: the Insurrection Act. Those presidents did it anyway. They did
- 21:56Speaker 1: it anyway to restore order in the United States of America.
- 22:00Speaker 1: Republican governors... Insofar as they had insurrections in their state,
- 22:04Speaker 1: they would request help. In 1992, during the Rodney King
- 22:08Speaker 1: riots and the L.A. riots, you had a request from
- 22:12Speaker 1: California Governor Pete Wilson to George H.W. Bush in order
- 22:17Speaker 1: to invoke the Insurrection Act. And they did. So that
- 22:20Speaker 1: was a time when a president and a governor were collaborating.
- 22:22Speaker 1: And it turns out those were both Republicans collaborating in
- 22:25Speaker 1: order to restore peace to the West Coast of the
- 22:27Speaker 1: United States. This is not... Unfortunately, unusual. Has it happened
- 22:35Speaker 1: this century? No. But if there's ever been a time
- 22:38Speaker 1: to do it, President Trump should do it now. Do
- 22:42Speaker 1: it now. There's been a lot of talk. What we
- 22:46Speaker 1: want is action. We want our country back. You know,
- 22:52Speaker 1: the American military just flew into Venezuela and in the
- 22:55Speaker 1: course of, what, 90 minutes was able to capture Maduro
- 22:58Speaker 1: and his wife and get them out of the country.
- 23:01Speaker 1: The In Iran, we disabled nuclear facilities in a 15-minute
- 23:06Speaker 1: bombing campaign. The United States government is capable of incredible
- 23:12Speaker 1: things if it sets its mind to it. We've got
- 23:16Speaker 1: something– we have a crisis on our hands here in
- 23:18Speaker 1: the United States of America. And now is the time
- 23:21Speaker 1: to do something about it. We don't want a police state.
- 23:25Speaker 1: We don't want tyranny. We don't want our country paralyzed.
- 23:28Speaker 1: being destroyed by by government or citizen or illegal. We
- 23:33Speaker 1: don't want any of that. We want order restored. We
- 23:36Speaker 1: want our country back. And we voted for you, President Trump,
- 23:41Speaker 1: to help make that happen. So please do. Please make
- 23:44Speaker 1: it happen. All right. More ahead. More ahead on this
- 23:47Speaker 1: edition of Vince, including Tim Walz. Man, has that guy
- 23:51Speaker 1: ever done anything right? Even in his tyrannical statements, the
- 23:55Speaker 1: guy screws it up. They screwed up the entire broadcast
- 23:58Speaker 1: last night. It was a complete dumpster fire. I've got
- 24:00Speaker 1: that for you and so much more all ahead on
- 24:02Speaker 1: this edition of Vince. You know, everyday Americans make choices
- 24:04Speaker 1: that shape our country's future, right down to which cell
- 24:06Speaker 1: phone provider we support. And here's what people don't realize.
- 24:11Speaker 1: This is what a lot of people don't realize. Patreon
- 24:13Speaker 1: Mobile isn't just a wireless provider. They're a Christian conservative
- 24:18Speaker 1: organization that sells top-tier cell phone service. They're great. They've
- 24:22Speaker 1: been on the front lines helping to defend our freedoms
- 24:24Speaker 1: long before it was cool, standing in the gap when
- 24:27Speaker 1: others would not. When others would not. You know, the
- 24:31Speaker 1: best part is this. They deliver prioritized premium service on
- 24:34Speaker 1: all three major U.S. networks, giving you the same or
- 24:36Speaker 1: even better coverage, backed up by 100% U.S.-based customer support.
- 24:40Speaker 1: Get unlimited data plans, mobile hotspots, international roaming, and more.
- 24:44Speaker 1: And when you switch to Patriot Mobile, you're going to
- 24:46Speaker 1: support a company that helps fuel the Christian conservative cause
- 24:49Speaker 1: and advance Patriot Mobile's values of faith, family, and freedom.
- 24:54Speaker 1: Switching's easier than ever. Activate in just minutes. Keep your number,
- 24:57Speaker 1: keep your phone, or even upgrade. Take a stand today.
- 25:01Speaker 1: Go to patriotmobile.com slash Vince or call 972-PATRIOT. Use the
- 25:05Speaker 1: promo code Vince and get a free month of service.
- 25:08Speaker 1: That's patriotmobile.com slash Vince or call 972-PATRIOT and make the
- 25:14Speaker 1: switch today. That's right. Make the switch today. Thank you,
- 25:18Speaker 1: Patriot Mobile. Yeah, so a couple of other elements here.
- 25:22Speaker 1: Tim was his live stream last night. You know, this
- 25:25Speaker 1: like speech he gave where he told everybody they need
- 25:27Speaker 1: to spend all the time accosting ICE agents, which, of course,
- 25:30Speaker 1: is a complete a complete mess. This is an insurrectionist mess.
- 25:35Speaker 1: The the stream broke down. So I don't know what
- 25:39Speaker 1: the hell's going on in the Minnesota governor's office, but
- 25:43Speaker 1: they don't even know how to broadcast. Their own speeches.
- 25:46Speaker 1: Watch this. Cut 10. This video no longer exists because
- 25:49Speaker 1: they deleted it from the internet. They went full George
- 25:51Speaker 1: Orwell on it. They thought maybe if we just drop
- 25:53Speaker 1: it down the memory hole, nobody will see it. Yeah,
- 25:55Speaker 1: we saw it. Watch this. Cut 10.
- 25:57Speaker 5: So tonight, let me say once again to Donald Trump
- 26:00Speaker 5: and Kristi Noem, end this occupation.
- 26:03Speaker 1: You've done enough.
- 26:04Speaker 5: Let me say four critical things to the people of Minnesota.
- 26:08Speaker 5: Four things I want you to hear as you watch
- 26:10Speaker 5: the news and look out for your neighbors. First, end
- 26:13Speaker 5: this occupation.
- 26:15Speaker 1: All right, enough of that. You hear that? I don't
- 26:17Speaker 1: know what's going on. They're looping his voice, so it's
- 26:20Speaker 1: impossible to understand any words coming out of his stupid mouth.
- 26:23Speaker 1: The whole thing is just like... A complete mess. And
- 26:28Speaker 1: I posted on an ex this morning. Okay, how about this?
- 26:32Speaker 1: Forget trying to, you know, to list all the things
- 26:36Speaker 1: he screwed up. Why don't we just list the things
- 26:38Speaker 1: Tim Walz has done correctly? Why don't we just do that?
- 26:41Speaker 1: That'll be a simple list. What has Tim Walz done correctly?
- 26:46Speaker 1: Is there anything? Have you ever seen him load a shotgun?
- 26:50Speaker 1: Has he ever actually served in combat? He lied about that.
- 26:53Speaker 1: You know, does he know how to wave? Has he
- 26:55Speaker 1: ever not pranced as he flitted about on stage? What
- 27:00Speaker 1: has Tim Walz ever done correctly? I'm not sure there's
- 27:05Speaker 1: an answer to that question. I don't know if he's
- 27:06Speaker 1: done anything correctly. Yeah, how did he become governor? Kind of. Yeah,
- 27:11Speaker 1: he lost the election, says me in 1976. Yeah, that's true.
- 27:15Speaker 1: He did do that correctly. He lost the election, the election.
- 27:19Speaker 1: And he wasn't, again, nobody even voted for him or
- 27:22Speaker 1: Kamala to become the nominees of those party.
- 27:24Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 27:26Speaker 1: That's good. Oh, and he dropped out of re-election. Yeah,
- 27:28Speaker 1: he did drop out of re-election in Minnesota. So I
- 27:31Speaker 1: guess those things he did do correctly. All right, so
- 27:33Speaker 1: he's got some things on the list. Lefties are going crazy.
- 27:37Speaker 1: Do you see the tool of the week? You know
- 27:39Speaker 1: about the tool of the week? This guy. Isaac just
- 27:43Speaker 1: looked at me. He goes, no, I don't know. Who's
- 27:44Speaker 1: the tool of the week?
- 27:45Speaker 6: Ready?
- 27:45Speaker 1: Here's the tool of the week. This dude, he drove
- 27:49Speaker 1: four hours one way to come to Minnesota, meaning it's
- 27:53Speaker 1: eight hours round trip, eight hours of driving. He did
- 27:57Speaker 1: eight hours of driving, burned eight hours of gas to
- 27:59Speaker 1: stand outside of a random Mexican restaurant in Minnesota to
- 28:04Speaker 1: protect the Mexican restaurant from ICE. Now, there's no reason
- 28:07Speaker 1: to believe that ICE was going to show up at
- 28:09Speaker 1: this restaurant. The only thing that would lead you to
- 28:12Speaker 1: that conclusion is if you're a racist who assumes that
- 28:15Speaker 1: ICE is only targeting people because they're Mexican or something.
- 28:19Speaker 1: Here's the tool of the week. Cut to. Paul, you
- 28:22Speaker 1: came in from Madison, Wisconsin.
- 28:24Speaker 7: That's a long drive. Help explain to me why you're
- 28:28Speaker 7: here outside of this business right now.
- 28:31Speaker 3: So I'm out here right now because this business put
- 28:33Speaker 3: out a call for people to stand on this corner
- 28:37Speaker 3: to watch the business for them.
- 28:38Speaker 1: They've been really worried about reopening.
- 28:40Speaker 3: They were shut down for the past five days after
- 28:43Speaker 3: ICE was here, and they just aren't comfortable just doing
- 28:47Speaker 3: this on their own.
- 28:48Speaker 7: And this is a Mexican restaurant and grocery store. And Paul,
- 28:52Speaker 7: I see that you have a lot of equipment on you.
- 28:55Speaker 7: You have a camera, obviously. You have another GoPro back here.
- 29:00Speaker 7: This acts as a whistle, you were telling me. And
- 29:02Speaker 7: you've also got a first aid kit.
- 29:07Speaker 1: Why is he dressed like a lib version of the
- 29:10Speaker 1: brawny man? What the hell was that? I got to
- 29:17Speaker 1: pull this up. Justin, if we can do if we
- 29:19Speaker 1: could do a comparison here is can you can you.
- 29:26Speaker 1: Do you see this? Is it just that? Could you
- 29:28Speaker 1: do the side by side for me? There's there's the
- 29:31Speaker 1: I guess this is the modern version of the brawny man. Now,
- 29:34Speaker 1: show me that kid if you could. Is it possible?
- 29:36Speaker 1: I'm asking Justin to pull off a lot here. We
- 29:38Speaker 1: didn't even discuss this before. the show. But I'm looking
- 29:41Speaker 1: at this dude, and he's like... He is... What's the word?
- 29:46Speaker 1: He's like a flamboyant version of the brawny man. Except
- 29:52Speaker 1: that guy couldn't fight his way through a paper towel.
- 29:55Speaker 1: Look at him.
- 29:55Speaker 6: This.
- 30:00Speaker 1: Oh, that's funny. That's great. Anyway, so he, man, talk
- 30:04Speaker 1: about all the gas. And what is he doing? You
- 30:06Speaker 1: see all the cameras the guy's got on him? He's
- 30:08Speaker 1: got a GoPro on his shoulder. He's got, like, a
- 30:11Speaker 1: Canon digital SLR around his neck. I think he's got
- 30:15Speaker 1: a rape whistle on his neck, too. And he's standing
- 30:18Speaker 1: outside of a Mexican restaurant. And what's he going to do? Like,
- 30:24Speaker 1: so if Ice showed up, what does that dude do?
- 30:28Speaker 1: I can see you. I'm capturing you on camera. Okay. Yeah.
- 30:34Speaker 1: You keep it up, Ronnie, man. You're doing great work
- 30:37Speaker 1: over there, son. That's amazing.
- 30:40Speaker 3: Boy.
- 30:40Speaker 1: It's a good thing Donald Trump made gas so much cheaper.
- 30:44Speaker 1: That's the silver lining in that saga. All right. More
- 30:47Speaker 1: ahead on the program. I've got the great Kevin Roberts
- 30:50Speaker 1: joining us from the Heritage Foundation. We'll get his impression
- 30:52Speaker 1: on what the heck is going on in America and
- 30:53Speaker 1: what needs to be done to rescue it. He thinks
- 30:56Speaker 1: about it all the time. That's why he works at
- 30:58Speaker 1: a think tank. It's called the Heritage Foundation. We'll talk
- 31:00Speaker 1: to him in just a moment. Hey, this episode is
- 31:02Speaker 1: sponsored by Zippix nicotine-infused toothpicks. A clean, convenient, surprisingly satisfying

- 33:35Speaker 1: All right, and welcome to the program, the excellent Dr.
- 33:39Speaker 1: Kevin Roberts. He's the president of the Heritage Foundation, where
- 33:42Speaker 1: they're always staying busy, thinking up all the important ways
- 33:45Speaker 1: to rescue our nation. Kevin, great to have you with
- 33:48Speaker 1: us on the show, sir, as always. It's always a pleasure.
- 33:51Speaker 2: Thank you for what you do to be part of
- 33:53Speaker 2: taking back America.
- 33:54Speaker 1: Well, you know, I'm reeling this morning. I'm sure you are, too,
- 33:57Speaker 1: seeing these images yet again out of Minneapolis. We get
- 34:00Speaker 1: more rioting overnight. And why are they rioting? They're rioting
- 34:04Speaker 1: because a law enforcement officer, ICE officer, had to defend
- 34:07Speaker 1: himself from a mob of people who were looking to
- 34:10Speaker 1: hurt or kill him. They were striking him with poles
- 34:13Speaker 1: and with snow shovels. And he fires his weapon, hits
- 34:18Speaker 1: an illegal alien, violent illegal in the leg. And now
- 34:21Speaker 1: there's riots in Minneapolis. And the president this morning says,
- 34:24Speaker 1: you know what, it might be time to think about
- 34:27Speaker 1: finally invoking the Insurrection Act. And I don't know if
- 34:29Speaker 1: you have a position on this, Dr. Roberts, but my
- 34:31Speaker 1: position is he should have done it a while ago.
- 34:34Speaker 1: What do we need to do here?
- 34:35Speaker 2: Well, something definitely needs to change because at its most fundamental,
- 34:39Speaker 2: as you outlined, Vince, this is one of the most
- 34:42Speaker 2: egregious violations of the rule of law that I see,
- 34:47Speaker 2: certainly in modern American history. And it is as simple
- 34:51Speaker 2: as the following. A federal law enforcement agency with jurisdiction,
- 34:56Speaker 2: especially over illegal aliens, is not only not being cooperated
- 35:01Speaker 2: with by local law enforcement, but in many jurisdictions in
- 35:05Speaker 2: this country, obviously in Minneapolis and across the state of Minnesota,
- 35:08Speaker 2: Those law enforcement leaders are actively undermining their work, thereby
- 35:13Speaker 2: putting into jeopardy the lives of those federal law enforcement agents.
- 35:17Speaker 2: So the president, I think, is entirely right morally, ethically
- 35:21Speaker 2: to be thinking about doing something like invoking the Insurrection Act.
- 35:25Speaker 2: I'm hopeful that there can be additional steps as well.
- 35:28Speaker 2: But ultimately, if you take even one step back, additional
- 35:32Speaker 2: step back, you realize the American people have had enough
- 35:34Speaker 2: of this. They really do want law and order, and
- 35:38Speaker 2: ultimately these jurisdictions that are sanctuary cities and states and
- 35:41Speaker 2: counties stand in the way of Americans' public safety.
- 35:44Speaker 1: And also, you know, our media have a way of
- 35:47Speaker 1: scandalizing anything that Donald Trump does and acting like it
- 35:49Speaker 1: would be somehow unprecedented. It's not unprecedented to invoke the
- 35:52Speaker 1: Insurrection Act. I was just going over the numbers again today.
- 35:55Speaker 1: The Insurrection Act has been invoked 30 times by American
- 35:58Speaker 1: presidents in our history. Many of those times have been
- 36:00Speaker 1: in the last century. And insofar as there's been recalcitrance
- 36:04Speaker 1: from governors, it's always Democrats, whether it's Orval Faubus or
- 36:09Speaker 1: it's George Wallace. Basically, Democrats constantly foment insurrections in American history,
- 36:15Speaker 1: and it's often Republican presidents, but sometimes Democrat presidents who
- 36:18Speaker 1: have to invoke the Insurrection Act to put it down.
- 36:20Speaker 1: That's just the way things have been. President Trump wouldn't
- 36:23Speaker 1: be doing anything unusual here, would he?
- 36:25Speaker 7: No, he wouldn't be.
- 36:25Speaker 2: I mean, to your point, there's a long history of
- 36:28Speaker 2: invoking the Insurrection Act. Heritage, my colleagues, will be publishing
- 36:33Speaker 2: an analysis of this particular situation later today. So therefore,
- 36:37Speaker 2: I'll answer this as a historian of this country, as
- 36:40Speaker 2: you know. The reason the Insurrection Act exists is precisely
- 36:44Speaker 2: because of what's going on in Minneapolis, which is to
- 36:46Speaker 2: say where the federal government has jurisdiction, particularly as it
- 36:51Speaker 2: relates to public safety and the rule of law, occasionally
- 36:54Speaker 2: in our republic's history, cities and counties and states have
- 36:58Speaker 2: violated that. And so if, in fact, we settled something
- 37:01Speaker 2: in the American Civil War, which is that the federal
- 37:04Speaker 2: government has this authority, then if you believe in the
- 37:06Speaker 2: rule of law and you call yourselves, as the Democrat
- 37:10Speaker 2: Party does, the party of democracy, then it seems to
- 37:13Speaker 2: me that something has to impose that rule of law.
- 37:17Speaker 2: That's why the Insurrection Act exists.
- 37:20Speaker 1: One of the things that we're watching these Democrat leaders
- 37:23Speaker 1: do is they issue these these statements that they I
- 37:27Speaker 1: think they think they're being very clever. Tim Walz last
- 37:29Speaker 1: night was urging people in Minnesota to get in the
- 37:32Speaker 1: faces of ICE officers. But he said things like, well,
- 37:35Speaker 1: do it peacefully, but take your camera out and then
- 37:38Speaker 1: record everything they're doing so we can use that in
- 37:41Speaker 1: prosecutions of these ICE agents now. Nobody with any sanity
- 37:45Speaker 1: about them whatsoever thinks that ICE agents are guilty of
- 37:48Speaker 1: any violations of the law here. In fact, they're taking
- 37:50Speaker 1: child rapists and sodomizers and homicidal maniacs off the street.
- 37:53Speaker 1: That's what they're actually doing. But Tim Walz will say
- 37:56Speaker 1: things like that. Jacob Fry will tell people to continue
- 37:59Speaker 1: to protest and tell ICE to get out of these communities.
- 38:02Speaker 1: It does seem like these government officials are very much
- 38:05Speaker 1: a part of fomenting the chaos we're seeing.
- 38:09Speaker 2: I think they're totally guilty of that. And it's really
- 38:11Speaker 2: important for people to understand that. on a practical level,
- 38:15Speaker 2: what having a sanctuary city or sanctuary state does, what
- 38:19Speaker 2: it means is it makes it that much harder for
- 38:22Speaker 2: ICE agents to actually find the felons, the worst of
- 38:26Speaker 2: the worst among the illegal aliens, which then means you
- 38:29Speaker 2: have to round up all of the illegal aliens and
- 38:31Speaker 2: process them, and you continue to undermine the common good.
- 38:34Speaker 2: But the key point you're making, Vince, about the governor,
- 38:38Speaker 2: the attorney general of Minnesota, the mayor of Minneapolis, who
- 38:42Speaker 2: in addition to being a goofball, is also fomenting unrest,
- 38:47Speaker 2: there has to be an account. The American people are
- 38:50Speaker 2: upset not just with the loss of life and not
- 38:52Speaker 2: just with the disorder, but the fact that this is
- 38:54Speaker 2: such a pattern and it's being fomented by a political institution,
- 38:59Speaker 2: the Democratic Party of Minnesota.
- 39:00Speaker 1: So why is their base so susceptible to this? Maybe
- 39:03Speaker 1: that's kind of a sociological question. It's certainly an implication
- 39:06Speaker 1: for American politics. Why are there so many lefties who
- 39:08Speaker 1: do take to the streets, people like Renee Good, who
- 39:11Speaker 1: think they're engaged in some sort of righteous holy war,
- 39:13Speaker 1: and she parks perpendicularly across the street to try and
- 39:16Speaker 1: block ICE agents from doing their job? They give her
- 39:18Speaker 1: endless minutes of patience as they ask her to move
- 39:20Speaker 1: her car. She doesn't. They go up to the vehicle,
- 39:23Speaker 1: finally try and get her out of it. She guns
- 39:24Speaker 1: it into one of the ICE agents, and of course
- 39:26Speaker 1: he opens fire rightfully, defending himself and his fellow.
- 39:30Speaker 4: Agents.
- 39:31Speaker 1: What leads a woman like Renee Good to do this?
- 39:33Speaker 1: How does this happen in America at such scale?
- 39:36Speaker 2: I think there are two huge factors that play into that.
- 39:39Speaker 2: The first is politics has become their religion. This group
- 39:43Speaker 2: of people, largely speaking, I'm sure there are exceptions, are
- 39:46Speaker 2: people who have among the lowest church attendance in the country.
- 39:49Speaker 2: They're part of the accelerating trend of a lack of religiosity.
- 39:53Speaker 2: And what that means is that that's going to be
- 39:55Speaker 2: replaced by something. And that something has become politics, which
- 39:59Speaker 2: is just an awful thing just to worship, right? That's
- 40:03Speaker 2: not an altar we want to build. But the second
- 40:05Speaker 2: thing is, and you know, I'm going to answer this
- 40:07Speaker 2: as an educator too, you can't love what you don't know.
- 40:10Speaker 2: And so two generations of not only poorly teaching American
- 40:14Speaker 2: history and civics and philosophy and economics, but actually using
- 40:19Speaker 2: that time for other projects like indoctrination, have finally come
- 40:24Speaker 2: home to roost. This is what we're confronting as the
- 40:26Speaker 2: rotten fruit of that miseducation of the American populace for such.
- 40:30Speaker 1: A long time. Okay, this brings me into something that
- 40:33Speaker 1: I know you're focused on right now, and it's the
- 40:35Speaker 1: restoration of the American family, because I do think that
- 40:38Speaker 1: that's at the epicenter of a lot of the problems
- 40:40Speaker 1: we're seeing. What has been the trend in family formation
- 40:43Speaker 1: in the United States? What does that look like? Are
- 40:45Speaker 1: people getting married? Are they having children? I mean, are
- 40:48Speaker 1: they going to church? What has been, what does that
- 40:51Speaker 1: trend line look like? And what is Heritage doing right
- 40:54Speaker 1: now to try to address this?
- 40:55Speaker 2: Well, and you're right that it's completely connected to this
- 40:59Speaker 2: dynamic of someone like Renee Good, because what's happened during
- 41:02Speaker 2: this period of miseducation is the deterioration of institutions, schools
- 41:06Speaker 2: and universities, but the deterioration of the greatest institution in
- 41:10Speaker 2: human life, And that's the family. And so what we're
- 41:12Speaker 2: saying at Heritage in this landmark study we released a
- 41:15Speaker 2: few days ago, Vince, is that in addition to very
- 41:19Speaker 2: important cultural, economic, social factors that play into someone's decision
- 41:23Speaker 2: about whether they will be married and if so, if
- 41:26Speaker 2: they will have children, is a set of government policies
- 41:30Speaker 2: at the federal level that have disincentivized marriage and childbirth.
- 41:34Speaker 2: What we're arguing, bottom line at Heritage, is that we
- 41:37Speaker 2: want to invert those policies and actually eliminate those disincentives,
- 41:42Speaker 2: and use a couple of tax credits to incentivize what
- 41:45Speaker 2: we think will be a modest uptick in marriage and birth.
- 41:48Speaker 2: If we do that, and if we see an improvement
- 41:50Speaker 2: in those even more important factors of culture, society, and economics,
- 41:55Speaker 2: I think we can see a reversal in this downward
- 41:58Speaker 2: trend of the American family.
- 41:59Speaker 1: I mean, marriage and having married parents, they really are
- 42:03Speaker 1: kind of the single biggest indicator of whether or not
- 42:05Speaker 1: a country succeeds. I mean, anyone who's taken any look
- 42:09Speaker 1: at this at all, it's like, It's like the social
- 42:12Speaker 1: science on this, the economic science on this is if
- 42:14Speaker 1: you're born– if you're a child born to a family
- 42:16Speaker 1: with a single mother, for instance, your chances of being
- 42:18Speaker 1: in poverty are very high, especially if you start in poverty.
- 42:21Speaker 1: Your chances of staying there are sky high. But if
- 42:25Speaker 1: you're in the lowest quintile, for instance, if you're a
- 42:27Speaker 1: poor child, poor family, but you have two married parents,
- 42:31Speaker 1: your chances of making it to the highest quintile, the
- 42:33Speaker 1: top 20 percent of the country, are huge. are even odds.
- 42:36Speaker 1: You have very high odds of making it there. And
- 42:39Speaker 1: it's all dependent on whether or not you have married parents.
- 42:41Speaker 1: It really seems like one of the most important ingredients
- 42:44Speaker 1: to our country's success.
- 42:46Speaker 2: It is the single greatest indicator of stability and success.
- 42:51Speaker 2: In fact, to your point about the research, all, all
- 42:55Speaker 2: of the social science research from leaning politically left, leaning
- 42:59Speaker 2: politically right, all of it bears that out. And it
- 43:02Speaker 2: reminds me of one of the studies that former education
- 43:05Speaker 2: secretary Bill Bennett made, he was trying to get at
- 43:08Speaker 2: with some great research, you know, what are those factors
- 43:10Speaker 2: that go into a poor child's success? And ultimately what
- 43:14Speaker 2: it boiled down to, it wasn't even the school that
- 43:17Speaker 2: they went to, it wasn't after-school study to sort of
- 43:20Speaker 2: improve someone's skills in something like math. It was the
- 43:23Speaker 2: fact that when that child woke up, regardless of how
- 43:25Speaker 2: rich or poor his or her family was, that they
- 43:29Speaker 2: woke up in a family. And that remains true. And
- 43:31Speaker 2: so what we're saying at Heritage is, If, in fact,
- 43:33Speaker 2: we want to expand upon what we truly believe can
- 43:36Speaker 2: be the golden age of America and be successful with
- 43:39Speaker 2: all of our policies at home and abroad, at the
- 43:42Speaker 2: heart of that success moving forward has to be the
- 43:45Speaker 2: restoration of the American family. And we're urging policymakers in
- 43:49Speaker 2: Washington and in state capitals to participate in this restoration.
- 43:53Speaker 1: I told a story, and perhaps I've told you this
- 43:55Speaker 1: too before, but I told a story on the air
- 43:57Speaker 1: recently about my late grandmother who just passed away a
- 44:00Speaker 1: couple years ago. Wonderful woman. deeply religious, a great Catholic
- 44:05Speaker 1: and her name is Mildred. And, um, she told me,
- 44:09Speaker 1: I asked her years ago, just as a, as a teenager, uh,
- 44:12Speaker 1: I was hearing, I was listening to talk radio and
- 44:14Speaker 1: I hear about like how social security was like out
- 44:17Speaker 1: of money and it was like completely run like an
- 44:19Speaker 1: idiotic operation, which of course it is. And, um, and
- 44:22Speaker 1: I said to her, I was like, do you ever
- 44:23Speaker 1: worry that you're not going to get your social security check?
- 44:25Speaker 1: And she responded, why would I worry? I've got nine children. And,
- 44:30Speaker 1: and I thought ever since then, I never stopped thinking
- 44:32Speaker 1: about that. And I was reminded– and I'm just constantly
- 44:34Speaker 1: reminded of it that there was a time in our
- 44:36Speaker 1: history where insofar as we were dependent, we weren't dependent
- 44:40Speaker 1: on the government almost at all. We were dependent on
- 44:42Speaker 1: each other. Like if you had some sort of emergency
- 44:45Speaker 1: that required a babysitter, you had a family member who
- 44:47Speaker 1: probably lived next door to you or maybe lived in
- 44:49Speaker 1: your house who could watch the kid. Or you have
- 44:52Speaker 1: a pet situation. You have a family member, somebody nearby.
- 44:56Speaker 1: That was the country that I think people remember but
- 44:59Speaker 1: in many ways no longer exists because of the government
- 45:02Speaker 1: dependence and the attack on family that you're talking about.
- 45:06Speaker 2: No, it's true in the same way that politics has
- 45:09Speaker 2: replaced religion for so many leftist Americans. the government has
- 45:14Speaker 2: replaced the institution of the family for so many Americans.
- 45:17Speaker 2: And so our argument at Heritage is we ultimately have
- 45:20Speaker 2: to focus on those factors that are upstream of politics
- 45:24Speaker 2: and policy, culture, society, economics, but that downstream of them
- 45:28Speaker 2: have been some government policies that actually have changed behavior.
- 45:31Speaker 2: And so let us have the boldness, let us frankly
- 45:34Speaker 2: have the hopefulness about the future that through a couple
- 45:38Speaker 2: of tax credits that we can amplify some of the
- 45:41Speaker 2: decisions that Americans want to make to restore that beautiful
- 45:45Speaker 2: image that you mentioned. It doesn't ultimately mean that every
- 45:48Speaker 2: woman needs to say, we're going to have nine children
- 45:50Speaker 2: or any specific number of children, as much as as
- 45:53Speaker 2: an institution, we want the American family to be revitalized.
- 45:57Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah. I guess if there's anything, and I don't
- 46:00Speaker 1: know if you feel this way, but if there's anything
- 46:02Speaker 1: that might give you hope through all of this crisis
- 46:04Speaker 1: our country is going through, oftentimes it's these moments of
- 46:07Speaker 1: crisis where people are reminded of the eternal truths. Because
- 46:10Speaker 1: I don't know, the people I run into in my life,
- 46:12Speaker 1: I do feel like are more spiritual now than they've
- 46:14Speaker 1: ever been. People are thinking more sincerely about what it's
- 46:16Speaker 1: all about, what it means. And I do think that
- 46:19Speaker 1: there are some people who are going back to church now.
- 46:21Speaker 1: So maybe something good can come of all of this, Kevin.
- 46:24Speaker 2: I think so. I mean, you and I both know
- 46:26Speaker 2: because of our shared faith that where evil exists, where
- 46:30Speaker 2: challenges exist, there's always at least a commensurate amount of good.
- 46:35Speaker 2: The question for us as Americans is, What are we
- 46:38Speaker 2: going to do about the opportunity in addition to what
- 46:42Speaker 2: we do about the challenges? And at Heritage, I'm so
- 46:44Speaker 2: proud of my colleagues for seizing upon this moment, surely
- 46:47Speaker 2: filled with a lot of challenges, long-running patterns like we've
- 46:50Speaker 2: talked about regarding the family, some short-term problems in Minnesota,
- 46:54Speaker 2: hopefully short-term. But we have to have answers to take
- 46:57Speaker 2: advantage of the opportunity, which exists because the American people
- 47:02Speaker 2: are hopeful about the future in spite of the present day.
- 47:04Speaker 1: And we have to be brave. And we have to pray.
- 47:07Speaker 1: I mean, we got to pray for courage and light,
- 47:08Speaker 1: the light to know the way, the courage to take it.
- 47:10Speaker 1: Kevin Roberts, thank you always, sir, for your time and
- 47:12Speaker 1: your great work at Heritage. Good to talk to you today. Thanks,
- 47:15Speaker 1: my friend.
- 47:15Speaker 2: Take care.
- 47:16Speaker 1: There he is, Dr. Kevin Roberts. Nice to chat with
- 47:19Speaker 1: him today. I mean, the family thing really does come.
- 47:21Speaker 1: I'm obsessed with this issue because I do feel like
- 47:24Speaker 1: it is right there at the core of how we
- 47:27Speaker 1: fix all of this. I mean, how often do you
- 47:29Speaker 1: turn on the news and you see this chaos, like
- 47:31Speaker 1: places like Minneapolis, and you're like, oh, yeah, all those
- 47:33Speaker 1: people have healthy family lives. Oh, yeah, those people, the
- 47:36Speaker 1: people were flipping cars and tying tow ropes to weapons
- 47:41Speaker 1: safes in the backs of cop cars and stealing all
- 47:44Speaker 1: of their documents and attacking police officers. Oh, yeah, I'm
- 47:47Speaker 1: sure they've got a very healthy family life. That's probably
- 47:49Speaker 1: what's going on. No, no, there's there. These are a
- 47:54Speaker 1: lot of tortured people with with some sort of trauma
- 47:58Speaker 1: going on that they're just manifesting on the rest of us.
- 48:00Speaker 1: We need to put an end to that. That needs
- 48:01Speaker 1: to stop. So we need to crack down on the lawlessness.
- 48:04Speaker 1: We need to invoke the Insurrection Act. We need to
- 48:06Speaker 1: arrest the bad guys. We need to stop the weak
- 48:09Speaker 1: leaders who are making this fester or fermenting it outright.
- 48:12Speaker 1: We need to arrest people like Tim Walz and Jacob Frey.
- 48:15Speaker 1: If they're running afoul of federal law, arrest them for it.
- 48:19Speaker 1: Impose consequences. But simultaneously, we need a restoration of the
- 48:22Speaker 1: American family. We need a restoration of The most important
- 48:28Speaker 1: institution– the most important governing unit of our entire culture
- 48:32Speaker 1: is the family. We need a restoration of that. Stop
- 48:38Speaker 1: grooming the children. Stop that. Let's start taking care of
- 48:43Speaker 1: them and raising them right. Okay. Let's see. I've got– well,
- 48:47Speaker 1: we've got a lot going on here. We have a
- 48:49Speaker 1: lot going on here in this country. It is– so–
- 48:54Speaker 1: That happens overnight. Did you see all the stuff out
- 48:56Speaker 1: of Iran? I'll just mention in brief. I was kind
- 49:00Speaker 1: of I went to bed last night thinking, are we
- 49:02Speaker 1: are we going to be doing some more missile strikes
- 49:04Speaker 1: in Iran or things can get crazy? Well, President Trump
- 49:08Speaker 1: kind of indicated yesterday that he says the Iranian government
- 49:13Speaker 1: has stopped, at least for now, killing protesters. Now, we've
- 49:16Speaker 1: heard the reports are all over the place. And I
- 49:18Speaker 1: don't candidly I don't even really know what to believe
- 49:20Speaker 1: coming out of Iran right now. They shut down internet
- 49:23Speaker 1: access for the whole country. You know, sometimes getting casualty
- 49:26Speaker 1: numbers or death numbers, it's like, you know, like remember
- 49:29Speaker 1: the Gaza health ministry was giving casualty numbers out of Gaza.
- 49:32Speaker 1: And you're like, well, the Gaza health ministry, what are
- 49:33Speaker 1: you talking about? That's run by Hamas. I was supposed
- 49:35Speaker 1: to trust the specific numbers. It's difficult work. But regardless,
- 49:40Speaker 1: there's no question there's absolute chaos going on in Iran
- 49:43Speaker 1: right now. Protesters are taking to the streets, holding up signs,
- 49:46Speaker 1: calling on President Trump to intervene, to fight back against
- 49:49Speaker 1: the ruling regime. The government building set on fire. Lots
- 49:53Speaker 1: of people, I think, getting killed. That's the reporting on
- 49:55Speaker 1: the subject. And even some executions that were planned for
- 49:58Speaker 1: this week that for now, President Trump says, have been forestalled.
- 50:02Speaker 1: That his administration is in negotiation with the Iranian regime,
- 50:06Speaker 1: however that takes place. And for now, Iran is playing
- 50:11Speaker 1: ball for now. There was an effort to try and
- 50:18Speaker 1: evacuate American military bases in the region last night, specifically
- 50:23Speaker 1: in Qatar. And then once President Trump indicated that actually
- 50:28Speaker 1: things are settling up with Iran, at least for the moment,
- 50:31Speaker 1: then the evacuation order was reportedly reversed. So this thing
- 50:34Speaker 1: is ebbing and flowing right now. But we're keeping an
- 50:38Speaker 1: eye on it. But I did. I did. I was
- 50:39Speaker 1: I was lying down last night. I was like, man,
- 50:41Speaker 1: I'm going to wake up tomorrow. We're going to have
- 50:42Speaker 1: a full blown Iran show on our hands, depending on
- 50:45Speaker 1: what happens there. But turns out it's a domestic show
- 50:49Speaker 1: because we've got a crazy, crazy insurrection going on in Minneapolis. Now,
- 50:54Speaker 1: yesterday morning, just like every morning, not every morning, but
- 50:58Speaker 1: a lot of mornings, including this morning, I got a
- 51:00Speaker 1: call from my great White House correspondent, Reagan Reese. We
- 51:03Speaker 1: always try and go over questions for the president of
- 51:05Speaker 1: the United States, things to ask him. And yesterday, as
- 51:09Speaker 1: I recalled, I had two big questions that jumped right
- 51:11Speaker 1: to the top of my head yesterday morning. And I said,
- 51:14Speaker 1: would you ask him about this new assistant attorney general
- 51:16Speaker 1: to investigate fraud? I want to know whether or not
- 51:20Speaker 1: we're going to get to the bottom of the fraud
- 51:23Speaker 1: nationwide and how quickly that will happen. Where is this guy?
- 51:26Speaker 1: Because we're expecting a nomination. We haven't had it yet.
- 51:30Speaker 1: And so Reagan did ask. President Trump yesterday about this
- 51:34Speaker 1: new assistant AG, and the president tipped his hand a
- 51:36Speaker 1: little bit. Take a look. Cut one.
- 51:37Speaker 6: Yeah, he's fantastic.
- 51:43Speaker 4: The person is fantastic.
- 51:44Speaker 1: Who is it? It's a he.
- 51:46Speaker 7: I will tell you maybe within minutes.
- 51:50Speaker 5: I mean, I don't know if it's appropriate to say
- 51:52Speaker 5: yet because we're going through a process, but we have
- 51:54Speaker 5: chosen a person who's very tough, very smart, very fair.
- 51:59Speaker 1: We've chosen a person who's very tough, very smart, very fair.
- 52:02Speaker 1: We're going to be announcing him soon. He said maybe
- 52:04Speaker 1: in a couple of seconds. That didn't happen right away.
- 52:06Speaker 1: There must be some sort of process the White House
- 52:08Speaker 1: is undertaking. But let's go. Let's get this person out there.
- 52:12Speaker 1: We need to get after them. Maga4Life923 goes, Vince, ask
- 52:15Speaker 1: the Insurrection Act question to Reagan. Hey, Maga4Life, I got
- 52:20Speaker 1: you covered. Easy now. I already talked to Reagan this morning. Yes,
- 52:23Speaker 1: we talked about the Insurrection Act. We'll see. You know,
- 52:26Speaker 1: there's an art to these questions. Sometimes you've got to
- 52:28Speaker 1: figure out a way to strategically ask which question, you know,
- 52:30Speaker 1: you're going to get. Some of it's like kind of
- 52:32Speaker 1: reading the room. What mood is the president in? Basically,
- 52:36Speaker 1: the top priority is how can you get valuable information
- 52:39Speaker 1: out to the public? So we'll see. I'll leave it
- 52:41Speaker 1: to Reagan in terms of which questions she's asking. But
- 52:43Speaker 1: believe me, I brought up the Insurrection Act. It was
- 52:46Speaker 1: like first thing this morning. She called me. She's like,
- 52:49Speaker 1: what do you think? And I was like, this Insurrection
- 52:51Speaker 1: Act thing, President Trump's all over it on Truth Social.
- 52:54Speaker 1: And he's talked about it a lot. What is it
- 52:55Speaker 1: going to take for them to finally do it? What
- 52:58Speaker 1: threshold are you waiting for, Mr. President? So we'll see.
- 53:03Speaker 1: That's definitely on the menu today. So there's President Trump.
- 53:08Speaker 1: They need to get this guy in there quickly. He
- 53:10Speaker 1: says he's great. I hope that means he's cutthroat. I
- 53:13Speaker 1: hope that means he's going to come in and just
- 53:15Speaker 1: start slicing throats. Like we're taking down fraudsters left and right.
- 53:19Speaker 1: Please get this person in fast. And then there is–
- 53:25Speaker 1: then there's this issue. There was something– oh, Politico had
- 53:29Speaker 1: a report this week, Politico, which of course meant instantly
- 53:33Speaker 1: I wasn't sure if it was real or not. But
- 53:35Speaker 1: I'm concerned about it. Politico reported that the Trump administration
- 53:41Speaker 1: quietly– quotation marks in the air– quietly restored Planned Parenthood
- 53:47Speaker 1: funding to the tune of millions– that they had taken
- 53:50Speaker 1: away from Planned Parenthood in Title X funding, Title X.
- 53:55Speaker 1: And they did that in December, that HHS had done that.
- 54:00Speaker 1: That doesn't sound good to me. Under no circumstances should
- 54:04Speaker 1: your tax dollars or my tax dollars be going to
- 54:07Speaker 1: killing babies. It shouldn't be happening. And certainly not be
- 54:12Speaker 1: given to an organization that kills babies at scale and mass. No,
- 54:17Speaker 1: of course not. Not a single dime to those demons. No.
- 54:23Speaker 1: And so you get a story that says, oh, they've
- 54:24Speaker 1: got some money back. Well, what's that about? Is that true?
- 54:27Speaker 1: Who came to that decision? So, again, I was curious.
- 54:31Speaker 1: Reagan asked. Reagan asked the president of the United States yesterday,
- 54:33Speaker 1: and helpfully, the head of HHS, R.F.K. Jr., was standing
- 54:37Speaker 1: right behind him. Listen to this. This interested me. I
- 54:40Speaker 1: didn't realize it. Both of them seemed completely caught off
- 54:43Speaker 1: guard by the topic itself. Listen, cut three.
- 54:47Speaker 7: Watch.
- 54:48Speaker 6: It's being reported that Health and Human Services released frozen
- 54:52Speaker 6: funds to Planned Parenthood. I'm wondering why this happened and
- 54:56Speaker 6: why Planned Parenthood is receiving any federal funds.
- 54:58Speaker 3: I don't know anything about that.
- 55:00Speaker 1: Bobby, do you know anything about that? What was the question?
- 55:02Speaker 6: It's being reported that frozen funds were released to Planned
- 55:06Speaker 6: Parenthood in December by AJS. I'm wondering why that happened.
- 55:10Speaker 1: I have not heard that.
- 55:13Speaker 7: I have not heard that.
- 55:16Speaker 1: I have not heard that. I have not heard that. Now,
- 55:18Speaker 1: I don't think either of those men are like lying
- 55:21Speaker 1: or anything. I think they were genuinely surprised by that
- 55:25Speaker 1: item and didn't didn't know what she was even referring to.
- 55:30Speaker 1: But we got some more information yesterday afternoon about this.
- 55:33Speaker 1: This comes to us from The Daily Signal reporter Elizabeth
- 55:35Speaker 1: Troutman Mitchell. And I'm keeping an eye on this because
- 55:38Speaker 1: I don't want to see a single dime go to
- 55:40Speaker 1: the baby killers. I don't know about you. Here's what
- 55:43Speaker 1: the headline says. why Trump's HHS did give Planned Parenthood
- 55:47Speaker 1: tens of millions in funding back. And there's an explanation
- 55:51Speaker 1: for this. The explanation that Daily Signal gives us is
- 55:55Speaker 1: that apparently it was a tactical retreat designed to make
- 55:59Speaker 1: it so that the administration can cut even more funding
- 56:02Speaker 1: from Planned Parenthood. It's a legal battle, in other words.
- 56:06Speaker 1: Here's what they got. Politico reported that the ACLU on
- 56:09Speaker 1: Monday dropped its lawsuit against the Trump administration against after
- 56:13Speaker 1: HHS quietly released tens of millions of dollars in Title
- 56:18Speaker 1: X family planning funds to Planned Parenthood and other clinics.
- 56:21Speaker 1: The move sparked widespread outrage from pro-life conservatives, rightfully so.
- 56:27Speaker 1: The ACLU, joined by the National Family Planning and Reproductive
- 56:30Speaker 1: Health Association, had sued the administration over what they called
- 56:33Speaker 1: unlawful withholding of more than $ 65 million in Title X grants.
- 56:38Speaker 1: But the agency may have had no choice but to
- 56:41Speaker 1: restore funding, according to Tom McCluskey, who's a veteran pro-life
- 56:45Speaker 1: operative and the director of the government affairs operation at
- 56:48Speaker 1: Catholic Vote. The agency withheld the funds before amending 42 U.S.
- 56:53Speaker 1: Code Part 300, a rule which governs family planning grants.
- 56:57Speaker 1: McCluskey told the Daily Signal, quote, the Trump administration was
- 57:00Speaker 1: virtually certain to lose the lawsuit, forcing them to repay
- 57:05Speaker 1: the full amount plus interest and then cover attorney's fees.
- 57:10Speaker 1: Even worse, continuing the litigation would have entangled any future
- 57:13Speaker 1: funding cuts, which are highly likely under the new regulations
- 57:17Speaker 1: in prolonged court battles before an unsympathetic judge. A former
- 57:22Speaker 1: senior Trump official told the Daily Signal the administration will
- 57:25Speaker 1: now be in a better position to defund Planned Parenthood. Quote,
- 57:29Speaker 1: HHS was caught in a tough spot because the judge
- 57:31Speaker 1: was almost certainly going to rule against them. And they
- 57:34Speaker 1: would have had to restore the funding under Biden era rules,
- 57:38Speaker 1: possibly with interest and attorney's fees on top of that.
- 57:43Speaker 1: With the case dismissed, the administration has far greater ability
- 57:47Speaker 1: to cut Planned Parenthood funds under Trump era rules. And
- 57:51Speaker 1: that will be the true test of the president's promise
- 57:54Speaker 1: to end taxpayer funding of the abortion industry. All right.
- 57:59Speaker 1: This is one of those things. It's like, OK, OK.
- 58:04Speaker 1: I'll take it as an explanation. They say this is
- 58:07Speaker 1: a big, this is a tactical retreat by the Trump administration.
- 58:12Speaker 1: It came down to the lawyers in the Trump administration, HHS, DOJ,
- 58:16Speaker 1: making a decision saying, okay, we just have to back
- 58:18Speaker 1: off for now. They get access to that funding for
- 58:21Speaker 1: a moment. But we are using this as a predicate
- 58:25Speaker 1: to cut even more. Planned Parenthood, by the way, should
- 58:29Speaker 1: not receive a dime. Planned Parenthood should not receive a
- 58:32Speaker 1: dime from any kind of operation in our federal government.
- 58:36Speaker 1: Every single dollar needs to be cut. So, and by
- 58:40Speaker 1: the way, they don't just abort babies. They also inject
- 58:44Speaker 1: children and humans full of all sorts of cross-sex hormones. They're,
- 58:48Speaker 1: I think, the number one provider of cross-sex hormones in
- 58:51Speaker 1: the country. Yeah. Planned parenthood.
- 58:54Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 58:55Speaker 1: So, they need to not exist is what needs to happen.
- 58:59Speaker 1: And certainly not with any of our tax dollars. So,
- 59:03Speaker 1: We will stay vigilant to this story. We'll keep an
- 59:05Speaker 1: eye on it. I see that this will be the, quote,
- 59:07Speaker 1: true test of the president's promise to end tax funding
- 59:10Speaker 1: of the abortion industry. Good. We'll keep tracking it. By
- 59:13Speaker 1: the way, President Trump has had more success as a
- 59:15Speaker 1: pro-life president than any president of our lifetimes. That's just true.
- 59:19Speaker 1: He got Roe v. Wade overturned. I will be eternally
- 59:21Speaker 1: grateful to him for that amazing progress. But the fight,
- 59:25Speaker 1: as always, continues. And all of us are staying in it.
