  Now, this was several years ago and I had a client who was a

  I set him up with this girl that I had in my database that I knew

  that I'd gotten to know. I'd set her up over the years,

  and she was always pretty cool, but nothing really stuck.

  You know, sometimes it takes a few to make magic happen, and in

  her case, I set them up. He liked her.

  He liked her. Things were going well.

  Things were going so well that he invited her to go to the Met
• 0:35
  Gala with him. He even arranged to have a

  stylist, take her shopping, and get her this ridiculously
• 0:42
  gorgeous gown. What could go wrong, right.

  OK, so back to the Met Gala. What could go wrong?

  Actually, nothing went wrong. They had a lovely time.

  Until this one night. Until this one night.

  They were at a restaurant and he knew everybody.

  That's what happens, ladies, when you date these guys that

  are very, very well known. They know everybody.

  Everybody know, or at least everybody knows them.

  So people are going to come up to the table.

  People are going to speak to them.

  Women are going to speak to them.

  Men are going to. And their time and attention is

  not going to be all on you all the time.

  That is part of the deal. Well, not on one occasion, but

  on more than one occasion. And this was the final straw.

  He had some good friends that he happened to run into at the
• 1:31
  restaurant. Well, this particular girl was
• 1:33
  so rude, so rude to his friends. He said it was so rude.

  Gina, it happened one too many times.

  I don't know about so many. It happened one too many times.

  Maybe it happened twice and he was done.

  He was done. So he broke up with her shortly

  after that night where she was incredibly rude to his friends,

  made the whole night uncomfortable for everybody.

  He didn't tell her why he broke up with her.

  They don't. They're not.

  No one's ever going to tell you why.

  You will never know the why, OK, but you'll always have to be

  self aware enough to know what you're doing right or wrong.

  And then he goes on to get married, actually with somebody

  I set him up with. Boom.

  Happily married. They started a whole charity
• 2:06
  foundation together and everything.
