- 0:04Speaker 1: NFL Game Deview is a production of the NFL in
- 0:06Speaker 1: partnership with iHeartRadio.
- 0:12Speaker 2: Everybody, Welcome to game debut. Patrick Claybon back here with
- 0:14Speaker 2: Greg Rosenthal and Cynthia Freedom. We've done it. We've done
- 0:17Speaker 2: seventeen weeks and picks. We have categorized all of it.
- 0:21Speaker 2: It is all documented, and folks are still coming and
- 0:24Speaker 2: saying we're picking better since we want the full season
- 0:27Speaker 2: of their picks corrects.
- 0:28Speaker 3: Okay, I mean, I don't know who's picking better than
- 0:30Speaker 3: this guy all season, but this week we'll test you.
- 0:32Speaker 3: Week eighteens are funky. Our team's even trying. Who knows
- 0:36Speaker 3: this separates the great pickers.
- 0:38Speaker 4: From everyone else?
- 0:40Speaker 2: Sure?
- 0:41Speaker 4: Does your model know who's even playing?
- 0:44Speaker 5: I mean to the best of the communicated information. Yes,
- 0:48Speaker 5: But then the problem is sometimes they play and then
- 0:51Speaker 5: or they start and they play like two series. Then
- 0:54Speaker 5: they sit and that makes everything crazy.
- 0:56Speaker 4: So you know, it's a.
- 0:57Speaker 2: Great week for a lot of people who sit there
- 0:59Speaker 2: every single week saying who wants it more? This time?
- 1:02Speaker 5: Wants it more?
- 1:02Speaker 2: This time? It Actually we do actually matter. Greg guy
- 1:05Speaker 2: led in the picks last week, going ten and six.
- 1:07Speaker 2: He's actually won the week three times since Thanksgiving. So
- 1:12Speaker 2: Greg Rosenthal is heating up. These are our season long standings.
- 1:15Speaker 2: I've still reluctantly got the crown perch caught into the side.
- 1:19Speaker 2: Hide the bolts about there. We one hundred and sixty
- 1:21Speaker 2: five and ninety ninety seven for Greg and one sixty
- 1:25Speaker 2: one in ninety four for Cynthia. I have come up
- 1:28Speaker 2: short a few times on this show, and by a few,
- 1:30Speaker 2: I mean every single season that I've been able to
- 1:32Speaker 2: be with this incredible duo. Someone who needs some help
- 1:35Speaker 2: might just say, Patrick, you're due for a win. Maybe
- 1:39Speaker 2: now's the time. Maybe they're saying the same for Kyle
- 1:41Speaker 2: Shanahan and the forty nine Ers.
- 1:44Speaker 6: William's looking left, Williams looking right, Williams u turns gets
- 1:47Speaker 6: away from UF still looking still looking gout.
- 1:50Speaker 2: Peddling bus come play.
- 1:53Speaker 6: The punames over and the forty nine Ers have won it.
- 1:59Speaker 6: They come spilling onto the field and as rock as
- 2:02Speaker 6: here at Le Guy Stadium, and the forty nine Ers
- 2:05Speaker 6: are one game away from the one seed in the NFC.
- 2:11Speaker 2: Yes, just like you heard it. The playoff picture in
- 2:14Speaker 2: the NFC comes down for that one seed to the
- 2:17Speaker 2: Seattle Seahawks and the San Francisco forty nine Ers, and
- 2:21Speaker 2: they will square off Saturday night in Santa Clara. The
- 2:26Speaker 2: winner clinches the NFC West plus the one seed. It's
- 2:29Speaker 2: huge who gets that honor grip.
- 2:32Speaker 3: I think the Seahawks have been the best defense in
- 2:35Speaker 3: the NFL all season long, even better than the Houston Texans,
- 2:38Speaker 3: and that defense carries the day in a great match
- 2:41Speaker 3: of twenty seven to twenty four.
- 2:43Speaker 4: If you remember, the forty nine Ers won it the first.
- 2:45Speaker 3: Time round all the way back in Week one, and
- 2:48Speaker 3: watching that highlight like, I still think there could be
- 2:50Speaker 3: some magic in San Francisco, but not this Saturday night.
- 2:54Speaker 3: Riek Willan and Devin Witherspoon and Julian Love and Nick
- 2:58Speaker 3: Emm and Worrie they haven't been all healthy very often
- 3:00Speaker 3: at the same time this season, and now that they are,
- 3:03Speaker 3: I think you and Love is committed the extra little
- 3:07Speaker 3: something special on top of everything. Who can take advantage
- 3:10Speaker 3: of the opposition's mistakes and brock Perdy's decision making has
- 3:14Speaker 3: been great. But we're not sure about Trent Williams in
- 3:17Speaker 3: this game. I think he could be under pressure, maybe
- 3:20Speaker 3: one too many aggressive throws that the Seahawks pickoff.
- 3:24Speaker 5: I have Seahawks winning as well. I have one fewer
- 3:27Speaker 5: point than you. Twenty six to twenty four is my number.
- 3:30Speaker 5: And I want to talk about somebody that Caleb Williams
- 3:32Speaker 5: showed us against this defense, and it's what happens when pieces,
- 3:36Speaker 5: even more pieces, i should say, of the defense are missing.
- 3:40Speaker 5: They play a ton of nickel, they play a ton
- 3:42Speaker 5: of Cover four. What does cover four mean? Well, obviously,
- 3:46Speaker 5: it's a zone concept where you have different assignments basically,
- 3:50Speaker 5: and the difference between a Robert Salah zone versus other
- 3:54Speaker 5: people is that there's a lot of decisions that must
- 3:56Speaker 5: be made. So when an upton Stout goes out that
- 3:59Speaker 5: you can find areas where Luther Burden can slip in.
- 4:02Speaker 5: Upton Stout might not be playing in this one. That
- 4:04Speaker 5: Cover four and the confusion factor from that, I'm just
- 4:08Speaker 5: looking at that. I just wanted to show an area
- 4:10Speaker 5: where Sam Darnold's gonna have to be very very careful
- 4:14Speaker 5: because I know that they're gonna get Diamador Leonor. He
- 4:18Speaker 5: said he wanted Jackson Smith and Jake and that's what
- 4:20Speaker 5: keeps it close.
- 4:21Speaker 4: Good luck.
- 4:21Speaker 5: Yeah, I'm just saying that, you know, those Cover four
- 4:24Speaker 5: principles are very interesting.
- 4:25Speaker 2: It's it's good to want things and to want a
- 4:28Speaker 2: competitive matchup. We're not competitive here. I have the Seattle Seahawks.
- 4:33Speaker 4: As well, basically the same score on Switch.
- 4:36Speaker 2: I've got the same score as Greg guess.
- 4:39Speaker 4: We're doubting the yes.
- 4:41Speaker 2: And it is concern because, as as Cynthia frequently notes,
- 4:45Speaker 2: Kyle Shanahan does have a relationship with revealing information that
- 4:49Speaker 2: may ultimately not necessarily be related to the lies. And
- 4:54Speaker 2: I think that's a factor that's helpful in terms of
- 4:56Speaker 2: play calling. And maybe he and Robert Sella deliver a
- 4:59Speaker 2: spectacular performance. But to talk about the players on the Seahawks.
- 5:04Speaker 2: The six hundred and thirty seven receiving yards for JSN,
- 5:06Speaker 2: the fourth most by twenty three year old. The three
- 5:09Speaker 2: guys ahead of him twenty twenty two, Justin Jefferson, nineteen
- 5:12Speaker 2: ninety five, Isaac Bruce and who can forget that twenty
- 5:15Speaker 2: thirteen Josh Gordon season. JSN is spectacular. I gotta go
- 5:20Speaker 2: with the Jimmy's and the Joe's in this one. And
- 5:22Speaker 2: for years that's been the forty nine ers. It's the
- 5:24Speaker 2: Seahawks now, guys, so we'll see.
- 5:26Speaker 4: You just wanted to say Josh Gordon on the show.
- 5:28Speaker 2: Yeah, that was good, Gil, that was good as charts.
- 5:31Speaker 2: It's Tom for the feel good Story of the League
- 5:34Speaker 2: presented by Geico Brock. Perty has solved quarterbacking. Guys. He's
- 5:37Speaker 2: got ten touchdowns in the last two games. Well, we
- 5:40Speaker 2: have more or less than one and a half passing
- 5:41Speaker 2: touchdowns against Seattleson.
- 5:43Speaker 5: I think he has more than one and a half
- 5:45Speaker 5: passing touchdowns. And we see the Dougie, which is what
- 5:48Speaker 5: that dance was. I have verification on that, which was
- 5:51Speaker 5: very important to me. But I'm looking at not necessarily
- 5:53Speaker 5: a deep throat like this one, but perhaps something smaller
- 5:56Speaker 5: to Christian McCaffrey in short yardage situations. That looks to
- 6:00Speaker 5: me like one of the easier paths for him to
- 6:02Speaker 5: score these two touchdowns. But again, we have scores in
- 6:05Speaker 5: the twenties, which means touchdowns, and I believe they come
- 6:07Speaker 5: through the air.
- 6:09Speaker 2: So let's go to the other battle in the NFC.
- 6:12Speaker 2: The NFC South comes down to one game kind of.
- 6:17Speaker 2: If the Carolina Panthers win, they clinch a spot in
- 6:20Speaker 2: the playoffs, or they could lose and become Falcons fans
- 6:25Speaker 2: for the game against the Saints. As for Tampa Bay,
- 6:28Speaker 2: they need to win and they need the Falcons to lose,
- 6:30Speaker 2: which is something that they've had some difficulty causing personally
- 6:34Speaker 2: the past couple of seasons. So let's talk about this
- 6:36Speaker 2: Panthers Bucks game. These teams played just a couple of
- 6:38Speaker 2: weeks ago. Carolina won by three. Who do you think
- 6:41Speaker 2: wins round two, Cynthia.
- 6:43Speaker 5: I don't feel great about it, but I have the
- 6:45Speaker 5: Bucks winning this game. I have a score of twenty
- 6:48Speaker 5: five to twenty one, which means not only do they win,
- 6:50Speaker 5: but they win by more than the number. It's all
- 6:52Speaker 5: about the short passes for me. Because Baker Mayfield not
- 6:55Speaker 5: a doctor. This is something we've established all season long.
- 6:58Speaker 5: But perhaps something ain't right because when you're looking at
- 7:00Speaker 5: what happens when he throws deep, it isn't good. But
- 7:02Speaker 5: when you look at what happens when he threw short,
- 7:04Speaker 5: that was where all his production came against the Dolphins.
- 7:07Speaker 5: Perhaps he's not able to step into it. I don't know.
- 7:09Speaker 5: I'm not, again, not a doctor. I did do a
- 7:12Speaker 5: little bit of time in medical school, so hey, there
- 7:14Speaker 5: you go, humble braggest Just as a side quest dropped out,
- 7:17Speaker 5: it was terrible, still have to pay for it. But
- 7:19Speaker 5: I'm looking at the opportunity for Baker Mayfield to use
- 7:22Speaker 5: those shorter passes. He has the receiving court that includes
- 7:26Speaker 5: Mike Evans, a Hall of Famer future Hall of Famer,
- 7:29Speaker 5: So it just feels to me. I don't again, I
- 7:32Speaker 5: don't feel good about.
- 7:32Speaker 4: This one, but I think they win.
- 7:34Speaker 3: I don't know what to think about this game, but
- 7:37Speaker 3: I want mess I want that Saints Falcons game on Sunday.
- 7:41Speaker 3: He decide the championship and it's Gene Deckerhoff, the great
- 7:45Speaker 3: play by play man for the Bucks. His last season,
- 7:48Speaker 3: so they're gonna send him out in style with a
- 7:49Speaker 3: win in this game. Because of some of those old
- 7:52Speaker 3: heads that Jean's been announcing for years, I'm talking about
- 7:55Speaker 3: Mike Evans and Chris Godwin, and how about some of
- 7:58Speaker 3: the new guys too. Jalen McMillan had a career high
- 8:01Speaker 3: in reception last week. We're watching Mike Evans in that
- 8:05Speaker 3: Falcons game. He's all the way back. Chris Godwin had
- 8:08Speaker 3: a couple long catches.
- 8:10Speaker 4: A week ago.
- 8:11Speaker 3: This is a very good receiver group and I know
- 8:14Speaker 3: it's strength and strength against the Panthers secondary, which has
- 8:17Speaker 3: some talented players. I think this is a rare team
- 8:20Speaker 3: the Bucks, who have more than what Carolina has in
- 8:24Speaker 3: the back end, they find a way to finally get
- 8:26Speaker 3: a win.
- 8:27Speaker 5: My friend from Boston College played guard for the Bucks,
- 8:30Speaker 5: and he jumped, he fall started quite a bit. His
- 8:32Speaker 5: name was Jeremy Drubland, and I just remember the calls
- 8:35Speaker 5: because that's such a good last name. In the play
- 8:37Speaker 5: by play, I was so good.
- 8:38Speaker 2: Anyways, Aside Jeremy and the inzo for one of those
- 8:42Speaker 2: trouble Bucks, I've got the Carolina Panthers in this one
- 8:46Speaker 2: two twenty one, because yes, everything that Cynthia and Greg
- 8:49Speaker 2: said about the Tampa Bay Buccaneers is true. Down the stretch.
- 8:52Speaker 2: It has been tough for me to ignore. If it
- 8:55Speaker 2: was the slightest glimpse of early season or even mid
- 8:58Speaker 2: season Bucks, I'd be confident here. But the Panthers have
- 9:00Speaker 2: at least been consistent in the fact that they've been
- 9:02Speaker 2: consistently inconson. They had nothing deep against the Seahawks, but
- 9:06Speaker 2: the last Bucks game, Brice completed most of his deep
- 9:09Speaker 2: passing attempts. He was sixteen of eighteen within ten yards
- 9:12Speaker 2: the blitz, which I thought was gonna be a problem.
- 9:14Speaker 2: Then wasn't even much of a problem. I've got the
- 9:17Speaker 2: Carolina Panthers, and at least that way, Greg Jeane will
- 9:20Speaker 2: know that this will be his final game for the
- 9:23Speaker 2: Tampa Bay Ble.
- 9:23Speaker 4: That's true.
- 9:24Speaker 3: If not, they just got to wait until Sunday. We're
- 9:27Speaker 3: gonna have more on that game a little later in
- 9:29Speaker 3: the show. I'm excited to talk about it. That's the
- 9:31Speaker 3: game of the day on Sunday.
- 9:33Speaker 2: Who's in the nfchself. It's Nomber who's eaten good? Wasented
- 9:37Speaker 2: buy Applebee's team. Mac had just five receiving yards last week.
- 9:41Speaker 2: Does he bounce back, hopefully more than five, more than
- 9:44Speaker 2: fifty nine yards in this one.
- 9:45Speaker 5: More than five, yes, very good, fifty nine. I have
- 9:48Speaker 5: more than that as well. It's all about the number
- 9:51Speaker 5: and percentage of the team share that he already has,
- 9:54Speaker 5: which is very very high. When you're up, you're that
- 9:57Speaker 5: forty percent mark, like making history for rookies.
- 10:00Speaker 4: You're gonna be a guy who's looked to you.
- 10:01Speaker 5: And I think this is one of the situations where
- 10:04Speaker 5: coach can say they if not the same, hey, let's
- 10:06Speaker 5: get this guy. Offensive resie of the year in roots
- 10:08Speaker 5: to winning the game. This is how they have constructed it.
- 10:11Speaker 5: There are ways to target that secondary deep. I think
- 10:14Speaker 5: that that's a I like him to have at least
- 10:17Speaker 5: seventy yards, so more than sixty.
- 10:19Speaker 2: All right, a bounce back game for Team MACKI and
- 10:21Speaker 2: the Panthers aren't a win and in playoff scenario. Similarly,
- 10:24Speaker 2: so are the Baltimore Ravens. And they're running back El Trectorcito.
- 10:29Speaker 7: Derrick Henry is back in the backfield in the power
- 10:32Speaker 7: eye formation. He'll get the carry on the toss, gets
- 10:36Speaker 7: around the corner.
- 10:36Speaker 2: He's in the.
- 10:37Speaker 7: Twenty ten five touch down Derrick Henry and with that run,
- 10:44Speaker 7: he breaks the NFL record for the most games with
- 10:47Speaker 7: two hundred yards carrying and becomes the first NFL running
- 10:52Speaker 7: back to crest the two hundred yard mark seven times
- 10:56Speaker 7: in his career.
- 10:59Speaker 2: And that keeps the Baltimore Ravens on the in the
- 11:02Speaker 2: hunt side of the AFC. They win this game. Yes,
- 11:07Speaker 2: it's equal to being the number one seed in terms
- 11:10Speaker 2: of space on the graphic. Our congratulations to the Ravens
- 11:14Speaker 2: for that. Also the fact that they get a game
- 11:16Speaker 2: Sunday night in Pittsburgh, a winner and take all battle
- 11:19Speaker 2: for the AFC North Crown the number four seed in
- 11:22Speaker 2: the playoffs as well. Loser leaves town. Well maybe if
- 11:25Speaker 2: the Baltimore Ravens lose, they they're gonna lose. They're gonna
- 11:27Speaker 2: leave town regardless because the game is the Pittsburgh Lamar
- 11:29Speaker 2: was back at practice for the Ravens this week. How
- 11:31Speaker 2: does this one go? Gread?
- 11:33Speaker 4: It's gonna go like you dream it goes.
- 11:36Speaker 3: It's gonna have the Ravens, the team you didn't see
- 11:38Speaker 3: coming making it to the playoffs in the end, our
- 11:41Speaker 3: super Bowl pick from before the year. Because of Derrick
- 11:43Speaker 3: Henry and everything, this running game is getting going. And
- 11:47Speaker 3: if Lamar Jackson's at practice, I like his chances of
- 11:51Speaker 3: playing in the game. But no matter who's that quarterback,
- 11:53Speaker 3: I'm taking Baltimore in this one because Derrick Henry has
- 11:58Speaker 3: made me believe, you know, in a higher power, you
- 12:00Speaker 3: know what I mean, Like this game happened right before Christmas.
- 12:05Speaker 3: I was brought up in a non religious household, so
- 12:08Speaker 3: I didn't have that like something greater than the sum
- 12:10Speaker 3: of their part, something to believe in. And then I
- 12:12Speaker 3: watched that performance by Derrick Henry the other night. I
- 12:15Speaker 3: believe in you Dereck Henry. There's just something about him.
- 12:19Speaker 3: You took me l out of Daniel Filelele and you
- 12:21Speaker 3: made this Ravens seem different.
- 12:23Speaker 4: Let's go Ravens. I don't even follow them.
- 12:27Speaker 2: I don't think you can well.
- 12:28Speaker 5: I Baltimore winning by two points twenty three to twenty one.
- 12:31Speaker 5: I want to talk about the other side of the ball,
- 12:32Speaker 5: which would be Kyle Hamilton. There hasn't been a ton
- 12:35Speaker 5: of things on this defense that you can look to
- 12:37Speaker 5: and be like, hey, they are great and elite here
- 12:40Speaker 5: except for Kyle Hamilton, who was wind up everywhere, been
- 12:44Speaker 5: asked to do everything and delivered. So I'm looking at
- 12:47Speaker 5: the different things that could happen. We know that the
- 12:50Speaker 5: Steelers Aaron Rodgers, wants to get the.
- 12:52Speaker 4: Ball out quickly.
- 12:53Speaker 5: We know that their running backs are a very big key.
- 12:56Speaker 5: We know that the tight ends are a super big
- 12:58Speaker 5: key to the way that the Steelers like to operate
- 13:00Speaker 5: their offense. What does Kyle Hamilton do in all those
- 13:03Speaker 5: situations locks it down? And what does Kyle Hamilton provide them? Now?
- 13:08Speaker 5: Without DK Metcalf, they're just a better opportunity to not
- 13:12Speaker 5: let anything go behind any of the defensive backs.
- 13:15Speaker 4: So I think.
- 13:17Speaker 5: God likes Kyle Hamilton toy. He went to Notre Dame,
- 13:20Speaker 5: so I'm pretty sure he likes you know, I think
- 13:23Speaker 5: he likes God.
- 13:25Speaker 4: Being representative for all everything absolutely also.
- 13:28Speaker 5: Not God, whatever you believe. And I'm sure Kyle Hamilton
- 13:31Speaker 5: is involved in.
- 13:32Speaker 2: That representation for all, including the blasphemy community. I've got
- 13:35Speaker 2: the twenty four to twenty win for the Baltimore Ravens.
- 13:38Speaker 2: It's difficult to underscore how big of an absence. Yeah, like,
- 13:41Speaker 2: no Dk Metcalf, easy to see, that's why you're throwing
- 13:43Speaker 2: three balls consecutively to mvs against Denzel Ward. But probably
- 13:48Speaker 2: and literally the biggest absence was Darnell Washington in this game.
- 13:52Speaker 2: He actually played three plays with a broken arm. But
- 13:55Speaker 2: the team rush EPA this season not worth it, Yeah,
- 13:59Speaker 2: but they need him. They go from zero point seven
- 14:02Speaker 2: and rush EPA to six Negai six point six. When
- 14:05Speaker 2: he's not on the field, they lose almost a half
- 14:07Speaker 2: a yard per carry. The success rate goes from forty
- 14:10Speaker 2: seven to forty two percent in the run game, and yeah,
- 14:13Speaker 2: the passing game. A lot of the Steelers offense looks
- 14:16Speaker 2: like it did against the Cleveland Browns. So I've got
- 14:19Speaker 2: Baltimore in this one, and advancing to the postseason.
- 14:22Speaker 3: We're just getting him away that the Steelers and Mike Tomlin,
- 14:24Speaker 3: they got us right where they want us here.
- 14:26Speaker 2: I think maybe even a significant significant portion of Steelers
- 14:30Speaker 2: fans prefer to lose the game, So I'm right there
- 14:32Speaker 2: with you, guys. Tom for Sees the Season presented by
- 14:35Speaker 2: Caesars Sports Book. As we look at the first touchdown
- 14:37Speaker 2: score odds between the Lions and the Bears, it is
- 14:41Speaker 2: Jamior Gibbs and DeAndre Swift leading the way to kyleman Nungui,
- 14:44Speaker 2: i'm on Saint Brown and Dj Moore rounding out that group.
- 14:48Speaker 2: Let's dive into this matchup. The Bears will win the
- 14:51Speaker 2: number two seed. With they win, the Lions are out
- 14:54Speaker 2: of the playoffs, but we know that Dan Campbell likes
- 14:56Speaker 2: to have these late season wins that they don't necessarily need,
- 14:59Speaker 2: especially against this protege a Ben Johnson. How do things go, Cynthia, I.
- 15:03Speaker 5: Hate this result because it's just a one point win
- 15:06Speaker 5: for Chicago. My heart says it's gonna be like a
- 15:09Speaker 5: twelve point win for Chicago, but the math says twenty
- 15:12Speaker 5: four to twenty three. Let's talk about Colson Lovelin because
- 15:15Speaker 5: I like the Bears better in this matchup. He's kind
- 15:17Speaker 5: of becoming a huge factor in this offense, especially as
- 15:21Speaker 5: we've seen Romo Donze not be available. This is a
- 15:25Speaker 5: really important guy to keep an eye on. Good news.
- 15:28Speaker 5: He's also went to college in a great state of Michigan,
- 15:30Speaker 5: so it's good for him that he, you know, can
- 15:32Speaker 5: help out a Okay, I'm not gonna make Michigan jokes
- 15:35Speaker 5: because the Bears are just better. But ultimately I'm looking
- 15:38Speaker 5: at him going forward and he'll be a huge key
- 15:41Speaker 5: to the playoffs. Where he is on the field, the blocking,
- 15:44Speaker 5: all the different areas that he's helping out in, he
- 15:46Speaker 5: is really living up to the people are like, well,
- 15:48Speaker 5: is he going to be better than Tyler? Who cares?
- 15:51Speaker 5: I think eventually he who knows if he'll be better
- 15:53Speaker 5: or not than Tyler Warren. I just think he's really
- 15:55Speaker 5: good and he'll help them in the playoffs.
- 15:56Speaker 4: A ton I went back and forth with this one.
- 15:58Speaker 3: At first, I thought I could imagine a world where
- 16:00Speaker 3: Detroit has one last moment of glory, but then I
- 16:03Speaker 3: thought back to that Week two game and I thought.
- 16:06Speaker 4: The Bears are going to get their revenge. They're going
- 16:07Speaker 4: to start their.
- 16:08Speaker 3: Revenge tour of this entire division and all the teams
- 16:11Speaker 3: that have been taking them apart for years with their
- 16:14Speaker 3: old boss, Dan Campbell, at least Ben Johnson's old boss.
- 16:18Speaker 3: In that game in Week two, Jared Goff ended up
- 16:21Speaker 3: with five touchdowns. They put a fifty burger on him.
- 16:24Speaker 3: The game was a little closer than the final score
- 16:26Speaker 3: would indicate, but Dan Campbell's going for fourth downs as
- 16:29Speaker 3: Dan Campbell does to get that number over fifty. I
- 16:33Speaker 3: think the Lions are too good to allow a blowout.
- 16:37Speaker 3: But I think the Bears and Ben Johnson they get
- 16:39Speaker 3: they're made of the real stuff here and they want
- 16:41Speaker 3: to play the Packers next week, and so you got
- 16:44Speaker 3: to win this game, clinch that two seed, and set
- 16:47Speaker 3: up that matchup against the Packers so they can keep
- 16:49Speaker 3: destroying the NFC North.
- 16:51Speaker 2: Well, you make a great point, Greg, and looking back
- 16:53Speaker 2: at Jared Goff having those five touchdowns in the video
- 16:55Speaker 2: of Jamiir Gibbs running down the field by himself, I've
- 16:57Speaker 2: got the Detroit Lions and whoa hi three twenty four
- 17:00Speaker 2: to twenty one. The Bears are the better team. The
- 17:02Speaker 2: Lions are hurt and sad and consider Holland feasts for
- 17:05Speaker 2: twenty twenty six, like a lot of people are this
- 17:07Speaker 2: time of year. But I'll rive with Jarrett because he's
- 17:09Speaker 2: good enough for Detroit and he's good enough for me.
- 17:11Speaker 2: It was back in lead two when he ripped off,
- 17:13Speaker 2: he ripped apart this defense. Greg highlighted he completed twelve
- 17:16Speaker 2: or fourteen on play action for almost two hundred yards
- 17:19Speaker 2: and two touchdowns. Sure they were dialing up the scoreboard
- 17:23Speaker 2: late because they could, and I think they could do
- 17:25Speaker 2: it again this time. And I have Dan Cambell the
- 17:28Speaker 2: Lions getting another Week eighteen win, because that's what they
- 17:30Speaker 2: do in Detroit season. Season brought to you by Caesar
- 17:33Speaker 2: Sports Book. New users can get their first bet matched
- 17:36Speaker 2: up to two hundred and fifty dollars win or lose.
- 17:38Speaker 2: Must be twenty one or older. See Caesars dot com
- 17:41Speaker 2: slash promos for full terms. Allen, that's a man of motion.
- 17:47Speaker 8: Allen looks, he's back, he's firing, and it is a
- 17:51Speaker 8: complete to get who's digles win? Now there's five seconds
- 17:57Speaker 8: on the tck, but the Eagles are gonna win. He
- 18:00Speaker 8: threw up pass course secure and it wasn't even boost
- 18:04Speaker 8: Eagles puck the pressure on out there going the win.
- 18:08Speaker 2: It wasn't pretty much. The Eagles held on for the
- 18:10Speaker 2: win last week in Buffalo. They've got the Commander's Sunday.
- 18:12Speaker 2: With a win and a Bear's loss, Philly could move
- 18:15Speaker 2: up to that number two seed. How do you see
- 18:17Speaker 2: it going, Cynthia.
- 18:18Speaker 5: I don't think Philadelphia leaves us one to chance. I
- 18:21Speaker 5: know they're not necessarily starting everyone or playing everyone. Some
- 18:24Speaker 5: rest is going on here, but twenty six to seventeen
- 18:26Speaker 5: is where the model landed, even with all that's up
- 18:30Speaker 5: in the air. But what I'm looking for in this
- 18:32Speaker 5: game is how the running backs are being used. The
- 18:34Speaker 5: concepts are the same, even if the players are different.
- 18:37Speaker 5: I do think we see the.
- 18:39Speaker 4: Take bigs becoming it.
- 18:40Speaker 5: When he had two touches last week, that's awesome, But
- 18:43Speaker 5: he did have a nice game against the Commanders when
- 18:45Speaker 5: they met the first time. I just want to see
- 18:48Speaker 5: what this offense from run concepts to the passing concepts
- 18:51Speaker 5: that come off of those run concepts. I want to
- 18:53Speaker 5: see a very nicely called game against a defense that
- 18:58Speaker 5: is super vulnerable. So this is where if you're an
- 19:01Speaker 5: Eagles fan and you've been questioning your OC. This is
- 19:04Speaker 5: where I'm looking to see what the strategy is because
- 19:06Speaker 5: you've now known who's playing now since I don't know
- 19:09Speaker 5: whenever they made that decision, and now you need to
- 19:11Speaker 5: get them ready. This is where if you're gonna not
- 19:14Speaker 5: like your OC, don't do it like week three when
- 19:17Speaker 5: nothing really mattered. They're still in the position won the division.
- 19:20Speaker 5: Like stop being mad at him. Look at the concepts
- 19:22Speaker 5: now because going forwards all that matters.
- 19:24Speaker 2: And I think an opportunity for guys to get rest
- 19:26Speaker 2: is going to be good. They can evaluate the backups,
- 19:29Speaker 2: and when the backups have played, especially Tank Bixby, things
- 19:33Speaker 2: have gone great for the Philadelphia Eagles. In fact, it
- 19:35Speaker 2: happened in a game against the Washington Commanders when he
- 19:37Speaker 2: only had four carries, but he got thirty seven yards,
- 19:40Speaker 2: including the twenty two yarder and a touchdown. That's because
- 19:42Speaker 2: Saquan was able to have success on the ground, something
- 19:45Speaker 2: they've been able to do better late this season. They're
- 19:48Speaker 2: not the twenty twenty four Philadelphia Eagles on the ground
- 19:51Speaker 2: by any stretch of their imagination, but what the backup said,
- 19:54Speaker 2: they can get healthy against a bad team. That's what
- 19:56Speaker 2: they did last time. I think that's what they did
- 19:57Speaker 2: this stum there.
- 19:58Speaker 3: Yeah, they did it in Week eighteen against the Giants
- 20:00Speaker 3: a year ago. Their starting quarterback on that day was
- 20:04Speaker 3: Hannah McKee. You know who wouldn't have missed that wide
- 20:06Speaker 3: open throw like Josh Allen did at the end of that.
- 20:08Speaker 4: Oh Tanner, Wow, one of.
- 20:11Speaker 3: The best backup quarterbacks in the NFL when he's come in.
- 20:14Speaker 3: I mean, look at that statuesque quarterback back there. He
- 20:19Speaker 3: can see over the line of scrimmage. You don't have
- 20:20Speaker 3: any of those sorts of problems. He's really good in
- 20:23Speaker 3: terms of his decision making an okay athlete, But it's
- 20:26Speaker 3: more about the timing and the accuracy, and whether it's
- 20:30Speaker 3: been preseason or regular season or some fill in play
- 20:33Speaker 3: like you're seeing here against the Raider. He can run
- 20:36Speaker 3: that offense, and I think it's a good enough team
- 20:40Speaker 3: that even their backups are better than the Commander's starters.
- 20:43Speaker 4: This is the height of disrespect that.
- 20:45Speaker 3: You can mem us away when the Eagles aren't even
- 20:48Speaker 3: really trying to win this game.
- 20:50Speaker 5: Are the Commanders trying to win it?
- 20:51Speaker 4: Though?
- 20:52Speaker 3: I mean they're trying to win as much as they've
- 20:54Speaker 3: won all year, But you're right, Josh Johnson probably starting
- 20:56Speaker 3: a quarterback, but.
- 20:57Speaker 5: They're so banged up too. I don't think there's going
- 20:59Speaker 5: to be like play your hardest, get hurt.
- 21:01Speaker 4: Top to bottom.
- 21:02Speaker 2: Everybody's trying hard. Yeah, here on game Dave, you let's
- 21:05Speaker 2: look at the af seed number one seed clinching scenarios.
- 21:08Speaker 2: The Broncos win, they've got it. If the Patriots win,
- 21:11Speaker 2: they need Denver to lose. And if the Jags win,
- 21:14Speaker 2: they need losses by both other teams, the Broncos and
- 21:17Speaker 2: the New England Patriots. So let's talk about that first game,
- 21:20Speaker 2: Chargers Broncos. Denver could lock in the AFC playoffs home
- 21:25Speaker 2: opportunity all the way through, all the way and told
- 21:28Speaker 2: the Super Bowl. The Bolts planning to rest Justin Herbert,
- 21:30Speaker 2: But Denver's kind of been struggling lately, Greg, how do
- 21:33Speaker 2: you see things going.
- 21:34Speaker 3: Kind of struggling is maybe overstadian a little bit, and
- 21:37Speaker 3: they're not going to be struggling after this Sunday. It's
- 21:39Speaker 3: going to be Denver winning big. Thirty one to seventeen
- 21:42Speaker 3: in terms of the number. This is one of my
- 21:44Speaker 3: favorite picks of the week because I don't think Trey
- 21:46Speaker 3: Lance and this Chargers offensive line have enough firepower to
- 21:51Speaker 3: hold up over sixty minutes. Now, Trey Lance maybe is
- 21:55Speaker 3: the backup version of Justin Herbert in that I think
- 21:57Speaker 3: he can make a very faulty offensive line look better,
- 22:01Speaker 3: put out some good film, and ultimately help his NFL
- 22:05Speaker 3: career because he looked good in the preseason and when
- 22:07Speaker 3: he stepped in there, it looks like a different Tray Lance.
- 22:09Speaker 3: Jim Harba is a great guy to have in your
- 22:11Speaker 3: corner if you're a quarterback. The problem is, we've seen
- 22:14Speaker 3: these Chargers starters on the offensive line.
- 22:17Speaker 4: Can you imagine what the backups are going to look like?
- 22:19Speaker 3: And you're gonna be playing a Broncos team that needs
- 22:22Speaker 3: this win to get the one seed. Last year in
- 22:24Speaker 3: a similar spot, the Broncos beat the Chiefs backups thirty
- 22:27Speaker 3: eight to nothing. So I think they know how to
- 22:30Speaker 3: beat another team's backups in the division.
- 22:33Speaker 5: We have exactly the same margin. I oh wow, twenty
- 22:35Speaker 5: seven to thirteen. So you're fourteen points right? Yeah, I
- 22:39Speaker 5: thought that's what you had. Anyways, I do want to
- 22:40Speaker 5: talk about that Denver defense for a second, because you
- 22:43Speaker 5: talked about what happens against backups. I think that the
- 22:46Speaker 5: number could be lower in terms of the number of
- 22:49Speaker 5: points scored for the Chargers. I don't think the Broncos
- 22:53Speaker 5: will take their foot off of the gas. You were
- 22:54Speaker 5: absolutely right, But I don't think that this defensive front
- 22:57Speaker 5: is sitting here being like they need to get it
- 22:59Speaker 5: back and feeling good like that lost of the Jags
- 23:01Speaker 5: probably made him feel a little wonky. But I think
- 23:04Speaker 5: when you're looking at going forward, it's like, all right,
- 23:06Speaker 5: let's get vance. Joseph wants a job, and how do
- 23:09Speaker 5: you get a job. You go out there and you
- 23:11Speaker 5: show everybody how you take care of business, and they
- 23:14Speaker 5: can take.
- 23:15Speaker 2: Care of that business and show everybody. But then I
- 23:17Speaker 2: think the game continues and maybe the Chargers get some
- 23:20Speaker 2: garbage time opportunities. I think the trade lands disrespect has
- 23:23Speaker 2: gone too far. I've got a three point Broncos win,
- 23:26Speaker 2: some late scores, and I think a lot of the
- 23:29Speaker 2: game goes to RJ. Harvey and it's a drawn out
- 23:33Speaker 2: slug fest where the Broncos get a lead and they
- 23:36Speaker 2: try to sit on it. Maybe there's some hilarity late
- 23:38Speaker 2: where the Chargers score, but it's a lot of points
- 23:42Speaker 2: in the division. But I do think that the Broncos
- 23:44Speaker 2: win and lock up that number one seed. But how
- 23:48Speaker 2: about a guy who's caught thirty nine passes out of
- 23:50Speaker 2: the backfield. He's number four in that season long hasn't
- 23:54Speaker 2: even started the whole season, So congratulations is a great
- 23:57Speaker 2: rookie year for RJ. Harvey. The game expected to be
- 23:59Speaker 2: one of the lowest scored scoring games of the week
- 24:02Speaker 2: according to our friends at Caesars. Look at the rest
- 24:05Speaker 2: as the Packers and the Vikings leading the way. Thirty
- 24:08Speaker 2: five total is especially some Clayton toone going up against
- 24:12Speaker 2: Brian Flores's defense in that one. Bringing us to the
- 24:15Speaker 2: two minute drill present Blowells Fargo Active Cash credit card.
- 24:19Speaker 2: Let's make some quick picks here on game debut. The
- 24:21Speaker 2: Dolphins and the Patriots New England could get the number
- 24:23Speaker 2: one seed with a win in a Broncos loss to
- 24:25Speaker 2: Trey Lanthony Chargers. Does Mike Brabels take care of their
- 24:28Speaker 2: side of that.
- 24:29Speaker 4: I think they're gonna win.
- 24:30Speaker 3: I think that number ten and a half is way
- 24:32Speaker 3: too big, but I think Drake may ultimately keeps that
- 24:35Speaker 3: MVP campaign going with a good final performance. He is
- 24:39Speaker 3: first or second in all the following category success right
- 24:43Speaker 3: EPA for play QBR if you want to go over
- 24:46Speaker 3: to ESPN anything you want complete like it's all happening.
- 24:51Speaker 3: Cynthia's making a face. I don't need the numbers to
- 24:54Speaker 3: tell me what my eyes tell me, which is a
- 24:56Speaker 3: second year quarterback is elevating all the players around him. Yes,
- 25:00Speaker 3: he's got a great coaching staff and a bunch of
- 25:03Speaker 3: teammates are underrated, but that protection has not been good,
- 25:06Speaker 3: and he's making veterans play better.
- 25:08Speaker 4: He's making better in some money.
- 25:10Speaker 2: Your eye is also looking at the numbers, though, so
- 25:13Speaker 2: we shout out to Greg's eido better. They tell them
- 25:15Speaker 2: some things. The Jags and the Titans. Jacksonville quinches the
- 25:18Speaker 2: AFC South with a win. They need some other people
- 25:20Speaker 2: to lose for the other thing to happen. But should
- 25:22Speaker 2: they be on upset alert here?
- 25:24Speaker 5: No, Oh, I have a thirty to eighteen win for Jacksonville.
- 25:27Speaker 5: I want to talk about Travis dten because it's so
- 25:29Speaker 5: interesting to show how the O line really works with
- 25:32Speaker 5: the run game. In the case of the Jags, started
- 25:35Speaker 5: off strong with the run game, then the O line
- 25:38Speaker 5: took a little dip, then they figured some things out,
- 25:40Speaker 5: made some adjustments, then Trevor Lawrence started passing bet. But
- 25:43Speaker 5: the point is is all of the things working together
- 25:46Speaker 5: are a really good reason why. It would be hard
- 25:48Speaker 5: pressed for me to imagine. Maybe it's preable, but I
- 25:51Speaker 5: think Liam Gohen wins Coach of the Year move the
- 25:52Speaker 5: way he's made the adjustments and now taking a team
- 25:55Speaker 5: who nobody thought would win the division and here we go,
- 25:57Speaker 5: we all have them winning the division.
- 25:59Speaker 4: I think it's Caps fanning And if the forty nine
- 26:01Speaker 4: ers went on maybe.
- 26:02Speaker 5: I mean, if it's not one of them, there's like
- 26:04Speaker 5: five who it could be in everyone else it's just
- 26:06Speaker 5: a big ridiculous thing.
- 26:07Speaker 2: Whatever. Yeah, we got a full AFC South week here
- 26:10Speaker 2: in Week eighteen, the Colts taking on the Texans. Houston
- 26:13Speaker 2: still has a shot at winning the AFC South. Riley
- 26:15Speaker 2: Leonard is gonna start and I would like to talk
- 26:18Speaker 2: about this game, but Greg's score is bananas.
- 26:21Speaker 5: So what is it?
- 26:22Speaker 4: It's twenty to four. And when you look at twenty to.
- 26:25Speaker 3: Four and you're watching two safeties the videos, well, I'm
- 26:28Speaker 3: glad you asked that question.
- 26:29Speaker 4: It is not two safeties.
- 26:31Speaker 3: Actually, for the first time in the history of the NFL,
- 26:35Speaker 3: we're gonna have a one point two point conversion.
- 26:39Speaker 4: So how the Colts get to three to four points?
- 26:41Speaker 4: They get the field goal.
- 26:42Speaker 3: Okay, but the Texans, who only have twenty, they go
- 26:44Speaker 3: for two at one point and someone runs it back.
- 26:48Speaker 4: No, what happens is like there's there's a bat snap.
- 26:52Speaker 3: No, you intercept the ball, you're coming out of the
- 26:55Speaker 3: end zone. Then it gets knocked back into the end
- 26:58Speaker 3: zone and you fall on the ball.
- 26:59Speaker 4: Oh, you get one point.
- 27:02Speaker 5: That is like next level exception of the rules.
- 27:05Speaker 4: Two safeties as possible. It's one or the other two safeties.
- 27:08Speaker 3: That was Darren Henry, by the way, and Kamari Lassiter
- 27:11Speaker 3: and Jalen pe Free.
- 27:12Speaker 4: They could all be all pros on the same team.
- 27:14Speaker 2: I thought you were gonna go with the ninety nine
- 27:15Speaker 2: yard bad snap. Somebody gets tackled in their own in zone. Folks,
- 27:19Speaker 2: it's so confused. You get all kinds of things here.
- 27:21Speaker 2: On game debut, Party takes the snap, he turns play
- 27:25Speaker 2: action bootleg left. He's looking, he's looking.
- 27:27Speaker 4: He pumps.
- 27:28Speaker 2: Now, he's backpedaling. Now he touched the ball away.
- 27:30Speaker 4: He's gonna run.
- 27:31Speaker 6: Now he's gonna throw payos check for the touchdown. Touchdown
- 27:37Speaker 6: forty nine Ers and Dog Beauty and the forty nine
- 27:41Speaker 6: ers are back in front and Brock is doing the
- 27:44Speaker 6: donkey again.
- 27:46Speaker 2: What an absolute playground party play time for more or
- 27:52Speaker 2: less here on game debut. We've got some monster matchups
- 27:55Speaker 2: with huge playoff implications this weekend, so let's talk to
- 27:58Speaker 2: player props. In the biggest one, the Seahawks and the
- 28:01Speaker 2: Niners on Saturday Night, Cynthia, we'll see MC have more
- 28:04Speaker 2: or less than one hundred and twelve total yards from
- 28:06Speaker 2: script total total, not just rushing, just total.
- 28:10Speaker 4: However, yards from scrimmage more.
- 28:13Speaker 5: Yeah, I don't actually care who this is against. The
- 28:16Speaker 5: defense is really good for the Seahawks. But there's something
- 28:19Speaker 5: about Christian McCaffrey who should be the league's MVP. And
- 28:22Speaker 5: I'm not going to stop saying that because no one
- 28:24Speaker 5: will ever want and I don't have a frickin vote,
- 28:27Speaker 5: But if I did have a vote, that's who I
- 28:29Speaker 5: would vote for, because no other team has created more
- 28:32Speaker 5: of a wind share for their team this year than
- 28:34Speaker 5: Christian McCaffrey. But for him, the Niners wouldn't be in
- 28:37Speaker 5: this position.
- 28:38Speaker 4: So Christian McCaffrey's gonna have more than that.
- 28:41Speaker 2: Let's go look at who might get more maybe votes
- 28:43Speaker 2: than see. I'm seeing Jackson Smith and jig but one
- 28:45Speaker 2: hundred receiving yards does he get there?
- 28:47Speaker 3: Well, let me check my note out there we got Sorry,
- 28:50Speaker 3: I'm trying to use these hands.
- 28:51Speaker 4: Let's go more for Asn. Why not?
- 28:54Speaker 3: It's the final week of the season and his transformation
- 28:59Speaker 3: into a guy that does not just work the deeper
- 29:01Speaker 3: parts of the field, but you can absolutely use him
- 29:04Speaker 3: over the middle like this. Tough catches tougher than people think.
- 29:08Speaker 3: This is where the weakness for the forty nine ers
- 29:11Speaker 3: offense is. I think they're not going to get greedy
- 29:14Speaker 3: timing routes. It's a lot of tens and twelves and
- 29:17Speaker 3: fourteens and JSM goes more.
- 29:19Speaker 2: Yeah, I would use the green one because the green
- 29:21Speaker 2: one has a thumb and none imposable thumbs is what
- 29:23Speaker 2: makes us intrinsically human. Brock Party has been on fire.
- 29:27Speaker 2: Will he go for over two hundred and forty four
- 29:29Speaker 2: passing yards in this game? I believe that he will
- 29:31Speaker 2: because I think the forty nine ers might need to
- 29:33Speaker 2: throw a little bit. Maybe thisvolves into one of those
- 29:36Speaker 2: score fests like the one that they've had. Oh, I
- 29:39Speaker 2: don't know what feels like every single game they've played
- 29:42Speaker 2: this season, especially after Fred Warner and though the defense
- 29:45Speaker 2: gets hurt. So yeah, I've got more. We got more
- 29:47Speaker 2: on everything here in this game, it's expected to be
- 29:50Speaker 2: one of the highest scoring games of the week. Why
- 29:52Speaker 2: don't we take a look at the highest totals for
- 29:54Speaker 2: Week eighteen and it is the end of an era
- 29:57Speaker 2: with a number sitting at forty four. The Cincinnati Bengals
- 30:00Speaker 2: are not on this graphic, but the Dallas Cowboys are
- 30:04Speaker 2: there at the top fifty one and a half. As
- 30:06Speaker 2: we get to some quick picks here on game debut,
- 30:09Speaker 2: the Jets and the Bills Buffalo currently the seventh seed
- 30:11Speaker 2: in the AFC. They could rest some starters, do they
- 30:14Speaker 2: rest some starters? Are gonna win as well? Greg?
- 30:16Speaker 4: Absolutely? Oh no, that Bills win this game. Easy. I
- 30:23Speaker 4: misunderstood the question.
- 30:25Speaker 3: The Bills backups and Mitch Trubisky probably enter the game
- 30:27Speaker 3: at some point. Josh Allen's gonna want to start. But
- 30:29Speaker 3: the big story here, it's the last game at the Rose.
- 30:35Speaker 4: He's not suiting up.
- 30:36Speaker 3: But just think of all the incredible NFL moments that
- 30:40Speaker 3: have happened at this stadium. Some great like this Frank
- 30:44Speaker 3: Reich comeback, the greatest in postseason history. Just I can't
- 30:50Speaker 3: imagine a situation that crowd is gonna be insane.
- 30:53Speaker 4: You could put anyone in this game for.
- 30:55Speaker 3: The Buffalo Bills, and let's be real, their backups I
- 30:58Speaker 3: think are more talented and more cohesive and more well
- 31:00Speaker 3: coached than the Jets. Anyways, they're gonna win this game.
- 31:03Speaker 3: The emotion is gonna be electric there. And yeah, some
- 31:06Speaker 3: great moments in history of Buffalo.
- 31:09Speaker 2: All right, the Raiders in this, like Jim Kelly's playing right,
- 31:12Speaker 2: Everybody's coming back there, Chiefs and Raiders. I do expect
- 31:15Speaker 2: a big part of Bill's history to be there. But
- 31:17Speaker 2: the Vegas loss would lock them into the number one
- 31:19Speaker 2: overall pick. Do they get the loss that they so
- 31:22Speaker 2: desperately deserve.
- 31:24Speaker 4: I don't know.
- 31:25Speaker 5: I don't think anyone wants to win this game. It's
- 31:26Speaker 5: not good for Kansas City either, because they could go
- 31:28Speaker 5: from like eight to twelve based on some things happening.
- 31:30Speaker 5: I do have them winning nineteen to eighteen, a real
- 31:33Speaker 5: barn burner for us all. I'm curious to see how
- 31:36Speaker 5: Ashton gent will fare in this one. I believe that
- 31:39Speaker 5: building around him is going to be a focal point
- 31:41Speaker 5: for this regime or whatever regime is their next going forward,
- 31:45Speaker 5: So evaluating the old line, evaluating who should still be there,
- 31:49Speaker 5: kind of building around Ashton genty, a guy they spent
- 31:52Speaker 5: so much more in terms of draft capital, that's going
- 31:54Speaker 5: to be a big focal point. No, Max Crosby, this
- 31:56Speaker 5: one too. Will also let them evaluate just every single position.
- 32:00Speaker 5: So I think this is a good learning experience. But
- 32:02Speaker 5: I think Kansasity, I'll look at us one point for
- 32:05Speaker 5: me and Greg and Lee for Patrick. You've got them crushing.
- 32:08Speaker 4: We do not like a lot of points, No, we don't.
- 32:11Speaker 5: We don't like points.
- 32:12Speaker 2: And barn burner an appropriate analogy because the phrase originated
- 32:16Speaker 2: with the folks desired to burn an institution in order
- 32:18Speaker 2: to fit small problems like somebody lighting a barn on
- 32:21Speaker 2: fire to get rid of rats. The Bengals and the Browns.
- 32:24Speaker 2: Cleveland upset the Steelers last week, while since he has
- 32:27Speaker 2: won two games in a row the Battle for Ohio,
- 32:30Speaker 2: I've got the Bengals winning twenty three to twenty. But
- 32:32Speaker 2: I want to talk about Miles Geartt. He's been limited
- 32:34Speaker 2: to a half a sack in his last two games
- 32:36Speaker 2: on sixty one pass rushes. He's been chipped or double
- 32:38Speaker 2: teamed on twenty six of those pass rushes, famously one
- 32:41Speaker 2: away from the all time single season just kidding sacks
- 32:44Speaker 2: in the season where his compensation was a huge discussion.
- 32:47Speaker 4: In terms of.
- 32:47Speaker 2: Guarantees, he's number seventeen in the NFL. Fourteen players of
- 32:51Speaker 2: those ahead of him play quarterback. Every single one of
- 32:54Speaker 2: them that Miles Garrett has played this season, he's sacked.
- 32:58Speaker 2: All due respect to prime Time, the Minister of the Defense,
- 33:00Speaker 2: Aaron Donald, and yes, Greg jj Watt, Miles Garrett the
- 33:03Speaker 2: best I've seen play defense.
- 33:05Speaker 5: Imagine how many sacks he would have if you run
- 33:07Speaker 5: a team that was playing.
- 33:08Speaker 4: With the lead.
- 33:09Speaker 2: It would be a lot more.
- 33:10Speaker 4: He's done it in a lot fewer snaps.
- 33:12Speaker 3: So that's why I don't want to hear anything about
- 33:14Speaker 3: the SAT teams week, and he's gotta get it.
- 33:16Speaker 2: So about the number of games, unless, of course, you
- 33:18Speaker 2: play football, which you probably should be complaining about the
- 33:20Speaker 2: number of Dames is. Don't look now, but Saints Falcons
- 33:23Speaker 2: is one of the best games of the week. Both
- 33:24Speaker 2: teams are on heaters. Tyler Shuck might be legit and
- 33:27Speaker 2: if Atlanta wins, the Panthers are going to the playoffs
- 33:30Speaker 2: no matter what happens on Saturday. How bananas is that? All?
- 33:34Speaker 1: That?
- 33:34Speaker 2: More? Coming up on game Debut. Next back on game
- 33:44Speaker 2: debut is Sound for the Reid, presented by Microsoft co Pilot.
- 33:47Speaker 2: Microsoft co Pilot, your AI companion for NFL Game Day
- 33:50Speaker 2: and Every Day. We asked co Pilot to pick the
- 33:52Speaker 2: one player that could flip the momentum of the Saints
- 33:55Speaker 2: Falcons game, and co Pilot went with quarterback Tyler Shuck.
- 33:58Speaker 2: Mentions that the Saints offense has served with the rookie
- 34:01Speaker 2: under center, jumping to twenty seven point one point per
- 34:04Speaker 2: game over the last three weeks. Shuck has also been
- 34:07Speaker 2: successful in its downfield passing Saints and Falcons suddenly becomes interesting.
- 34:12Speaker 2: Atlanta shocked the Rams Monday night. While the Saints have
- 34:15Speaker 2: won four straight. If Atlanta wins, it would clinch the
- 34:17Speaker 2: NFC South for Carolina. So who gets the win here
- 34:21Speaker 2: or something?
- 34:22Speaker 5: Well, Atlanta gets the win twenty three to twenty one,
- 34:24Speaker 5: which therefore means that the Panthers go to the playoffs.
- 34:29Speaker 5: So that's interesting. I just want to take a moment
- 34:31Speaker 5: talk about Bjon Robinson because what he did on a
- 34:35Speaker 5: really amazing game against the Rams in primetime. It just
- 34:40Speaker 5: goes to show that sometimes everything you know about football
- 34:43Speaker 5: can be wrong. Because we all thought that, not that
- 34:47Speaker 5: he wouldn't have a good game, but we thought that
- 34:49Speaker 5: the Rams would easily win this game, and they proved
- 34:52Speaker 5: us wrong. And part of that was because Jon Robinson
- 34:55Speaker 5: just totally took control of this game in many ways
- 34:58Speaker 5: the same he has in other games that maybe weren't
- 35:00Speaker 5: on in primetime or potentially the defense. I don't care,
- 35:03Speaker 5: but we maybe we need to give him a little
- 35:05Speaker 5: bit more love than we have been.
- 35:07Speaker 2: Yes, significantly in terms of the MVP conversation and all that.
- 35:12Speaker 2: Winning goes into a whole lot, but there's only so
- 35:14Speaker 2: much you can do in a game where there's twenty
- 35:15Speaker 2: two guys on the field. I got the Falcons as
- 35:17Speaker 2: well twenty four to nineteen, just off of the surge
- 35:21Speaker 2: that has been the Falcons franchise once they've essentially been eliminated.
- 35:24Speaker 2: But look at what the defense was able to do
- 35:26Speaker 2: against Matthew Stafford, where Jesse Bates got back to his
- 35:29Speaker 2: turnover producing ways. Xavier Watts looked good in that game
- 35:34Speaker 2: where I know Tyler Shuck has been gifted. But the
- 35:37Speaker 2: opportunity for Kirk Cousins to turn around and handleball and
- 35:40Speaker 2: John Robbinson potentially get a touchdown and any give him
- 35:42Speaker 2: play not the same opportunity for Tyler Shuck from the
- 35:45Speaker 2: Saints offense games in Atlanta. I've got Atlanta here, great.
- 35:49Speaker 3: I've got Atlanta too, But it's more about the spectacle.
- 35:52Speaker 3: This is the greatest rivalry in the NFL. The fans
- 35:56Speaker 3: truly hate each other. The NFC South is so stupid
- 36:00Speaker 3: as a division, and they're going to reach peaks stupidity
- 36:03Speaker 3: on Sunday when these two teams are playing by proxy
- 36:07Speaker 3: to decide a division championship that neither one of them
- 36:11Speaker 3: can win.
- 36:12Speaker 4: It's the most Falcon Saints thing ever. And in the
- 36:15Speaker 4: middle of it there's all these great stories.
- 36:17Speaker 3: Can Tyler Schuck get into the offseason on a big
- 36:20Speaker 3: winning streak and win Offensive Rookie of the Year.
- 36:23Speaker 4: I don't care how well he plays in this game.
- 36:24Speaker 4: I don't think you should win Offensive Rookie of the Year.
- 36:26Speaker 4: I've only played half the season. It's stupid. That's just
- 36:30Speaker 4: give you a.
- 36:30Speaker 3: Word to t mac or Harrold Fannon or someone else.
- 36:33Speaker 3: I think it's a stupid idea. Rahie Morris is trying
- 36:36Speaker 3: to save his job.
- 36:38Speaker 4: Night.
- 36:39Speaker 3: We'll see if they lost a bad game for the Saints,
- 36:41Speaker 3: that could leave a bad impression. And man, I just
- 36:45Speaker 3: want the Bucks to win on Saturday to just set
- 36:48Speaker 3: up the situation where like Jason Light and the Bucks
- 36:51Speaker 3: are rooting for this Saints team that he was trash
- 36:53Speaker 3: talking on.
- 36:54Speaker 4: Twitter earlier in the season.
- 36:57Speaker 3: It's just a strange, messy division and if you love
- 37:00Speaker 3: mess ahead of the sea something.
- 37:04Speaker 2: Yeah, perhaps these these NFL postseason awards are logically inconsistent.
- 37:09Speaker 2: Get some more quick picks here. On game debut, the
- 37:12Speaker 2: Cardinals and rams La was shocked Monday night in Atlanta.
- 37:15Speaker 2: The Sean mcvay's teams bounce back.
- 37:17Speaker 4: For they do.
- 37:17Speaker 3: Sean McVay says, they will play their starters in this game.
- 37:21Speaker 3: Now do they play all four quarters?
- 37:23Speaker 4: We'll find out.
- 37:23Speaker 3: Their running game will get it done no matter who
- 37:26Speaker 3: is back there. They're really well coached, so you can
- 37:29Speaker 3: only bench so many guys on the offensive line. You
- 37:32Speaker 3: only have so many guys who are even available to
- 37:34Speaker 3: play for you. So Kyrin Williams, Blake corm maybe they
- 37:37Speaker 3: get some carries in this game. I could see a
- 37:39Speaker 3: big Ronnie Rivers game. This Cardinals defense. Their season actually
- 37:44Speaker 3: ended a month ago. They just didn't tell anyone. They're
- 37:46Speaker 3: just giving up forty points a week.
- 37:48Speaker 2: Team last one the Packers and the Surgeon Vikings. Green
- 37:52Speaker 2: Bay locked into the seventh seed. They could be resting
- 37:54Speaker 2: some of you guys. How's it go?
- 37:56Speaker 5: I have green Bay keeping it very close, Minnesota only
- 37:59Speaker 5: winning by one nineteen. I just didn't think we could
- 38:02Speaker 5: get through this entire show and not talk about how
- 38:04Speaker 5: much whch money. Malik Willis made himself in for a
- 38:06Speaker 5: good reason last week. When I'm looking at the opportunity
- 38:08Speaker 5: in the offseason for teams to find quarterbacks, the fact
- 38:11Speaker 5: that Philip Rivers was playing this year tells you that
- 38:13Speaker 5: there aren't thirty two qualified people to do that in
- 38:16Speaker 5: the world. So I'm looking forward to what happens next
- 38:20Speaker 5: year for Malik Willis, a guy who kind of rehabbed
- 38:22Speaker 5: a situation, got into a better really put some good
- 38:25Speaker 5: film on tape here, and I just want to give
- 38:27Speaker 5: him some credit because it's not easy in that situation,
- 38:30Speaker 5: and he made it look easy.
- 38:31Speaker 4: So there we go.
- 38:32Speaker 2: Congratulations to Milik Willis. To go to the Cowboys and Giants,
- 38:35Speaker 2: Dak versus Dart. I've got the Cowboys winning twenty four
- 38:38Speaker 2: to twenty two and something. If you would like to
- 38:39Speaker 2: talk about somebody who has changed scenery, improved his circumstances,
- 38:43Speaker 2: and may see a significant financial boost, why don't we
- 38:45Speaker 2: introduce one. George Pickens of the Dallas Cowboys having a
- 38:49Speaker 2: spectacular season, has more yards getting slants than anybody in
- 38:54Speaker 2: the NFL. But it's not just slams. It's the full
- 38:56Speaker 2: route tree. We've seen them everywhere on the field, and
- 38:59Speaker 2: despite one unfortunate Thursday night, George Pickens has played very
- 39:03Speaker 2: well all He's looking forward to what his coming.
- 39:05Speaker 5: That last highlights onone's cell phone camera real shicky.
- 39:09Speaker 2: You know, sometimes there's a lot going on the field.
- 39:12Speaker 2: Georgth Pickett's doing a lot of stuff. Maybe he actually
- 39:14Speaker 2: filmed that somehow because he doesn't run on the football field.
- 39:17Speaker 2: When we come back as time for write this down,
- 39:20Speaker 2: it's our favorite player prop for week sixteen. Don't forget
- 39:23Speaker 2: a lot of guys trying to get some bonus incentives
- 39:26Speaker 2: this weekend. So it's gonna be spicy, won't We have
- 39:29Speaker 2: a lineman.
- 39:29Speaker 4: Getting in that's it. No no, no is Cody Ford
- 39:32Speaker 4: over half a yard.
- 39:34Speaker 2: Yes, write this down when we come back on game debut.
- 39:46Speaker 9: Here's the snap out of the gun play action fake
- 39:48Speaker 9: pastapro got Kowski. He's gonna score a touchdown, touchdown Tampa Bay,
- 39:52Speaker 9: Holy Groca Boli.
- 39:53Speaker 2: He breaks the record.
- 39:54Speaker 9: He's got his twenty third touchdown of the postseason from
- 39:57Speaker 9: Tom Brady.
- 39:58Speaker 2: Here's the snap, Mahomes running to his right. Lookout. He
- 40:00Speaker 2: may run Mahomes directory.
- 40:02Speaker 9: Battle ticked off the end zone box.
- 40:05Speaker 2: Are gonna beat the Chief.
- 40:06Speaker 9: Bucks Win, Bucks, Win, Bucks, win the Super Bowl fifty five,
- 40:12Speaker 9: and then a cannon cannon fire them, keep on firing them,
- 40:16Speaker 9: keep on firing them. Celebrate Buccaneer farsist that.
- 40:20Speaker 2: Lombardi get a chance to call two Buccaneers super Bowls
- 40:24Speaker 2: over the thirty seven years he's been calling games with
- 40:27Speaker 2: the team. For gratulations to a great career for Gene Deckerhoff,
- 40:30Speaker 2: leading us in to write this down as we get
- 40:32Speaker 2: to our favorite player prop predictions for week eighteen.
- 40:36Speaker 3: Want to start force until week eighteen is an opportunity.
- 40:39Speaker 3: You might see confusion, I see clarity, and I see
- 40:41Speaker 3: Ray Davis, a guy we've never mentioned on this show
- 40:44Speaker 3: the Buffalo Bills third string running back going over twenty
- 40:48Speaker 3: nine and a half rushing yards. Do you think they
- 40:50Speaker 3: want to use James Cook in this game against the Jets.
- 40:53Speaker 3: But do you think they're gonna lose? No, They're gonna
- 40:55Speaker 3: run the ball all over the Jets. Forget twenty nine
- 40:58Speaker 3: and a half. I could jack that up to about
- 41:00Speaker 3: eighty nine and a half. It's gonna be the Ray
- 41:02Speaker 3: Davis game. He covers this thing easy.
- 41:05Speaker 5: Okay, So you got to the our producer before us.
- 41:08Speaker 5: So mine is a Derreck Henry touchdown against the Steelers.
- 41:11Speaker 5: Seems very likely to happy. I also wanted to add
- 41:14Speaker 5: an Aj Barner over thirty seven receiving yards because you
- 41:17Speaker 5: know the barnyard Dog is our favorite player on this show,
- 41:20Speaker 5: So add the little bonus.
- 41:22Speaker 2: I am on a struggle BLUs right now. We'll write
- 41:25Speaker 2: this down. We're six total yards, keeping me for my
- 41:28Speaker 2: last two weeks and being successful, and write this down.
- 41:31Speaker 2: But I believe in Zach Sharbonek going over forty two
- 41:34Speaker 2: rushing yards against the forty nine Ers Sunday out the
- 41:38Speaker 2: out game, Kenneth Walker last week. He's done it a
- 41:41Speaker 2: few times this season. Greg shaking his head.
- 41:43Speaker 3: Well, that's because I had Kenneth Walker last week and
- 41:45Speaker 3: he came off a few yards short.
- 41:47Speaker 4: Yeah, I took it. That's right. Church rong pew. We're
- 41:51Speaker 4: back back around.
- 41:52Speaker 2: We're back to faith.
- 41:53Speaker 5: The universe loves you all.
- 41:54Speaker 3: All I'm saying is you watch Derrick Henry running down
- 41:58Speaker 3: the field in a big time game, and you will
- 42:01Speaker 3: believe greater than yourself.
- 42:03Speaker 2: Yeah, Derrick Henry is greater than me.
- 42:06Speaker 4: And Pat more power. I can't wait for this game.
- 42:10Speaker 2: It's great to be spending time with all of you guys.
- 42:12Speaker 2: Hopefully your New Years great. Thanks for watching game debut
- 42:15Speaker 2: for Cynthia and Greg on Patrick, We'll see you next time.
