Carly Campbell’s raw, darkly comedic musical “COMMITTED” began as a way to process her harrowing time in a psychiatric facility — where singing pop songs together became rare moments of humanity. Now, after years of workshops, student productions, and community collaboration, it’s finally premiering in Durham at The Fruit, complete with ASL interpreters for one show.
