Morning — February 2 — 1 Chronicles 4:10
And Jabez called out to the God of Israel, “If only You would bless me and enlarge my territory! May Your hand be with me and keep me from harm, so that I will be free from pain.” And God granted the request of Jabez. — 1 Chronicles 4:10
The believer's security does not rest in personal resolve but in the faithful keeping of God. Our prayers for protection are answered because Jesus already faced temptation for us, and His victory becomes our shelter. The Father who guards His own through every trial is the same God who will preserve us blameless to the end.
