  and that's something to build on. I mean, Duke is an outstanding football

  team, very worthy of being ranked in the top twenty, if not the

  top fifteen or ten in my opinion. Going into the game, I saw

  it on film and the day I saw it in real life. But for

  us it's about finding small victories and defeat and today it was more like the

  football team than I'm used to see. And now I know the score doesn't

  reflect it, but just the energy, the effort, enthusiasm. Got to

  clean up execution errors obviously, got to find a way to move the ball

  on offense against you know, good defense, and that's a really good defense.

  I mean they were given up nine points a game, so they brought

  that down a little bit today there in the eights now. So, but

  in terms of just building on effort and energy and enthusiasm and guys want to

  and having a good attitude, I mean that's where you got to start.

  And so that was a message to him. Obviously a big piece missing was

  Jackson Mitchell for most of the games. So how do you think that the

  defense did specifically filling in that gap? Well, I mean we you know,

  the defense played well and we gave up three hundred and fourteen yards to

  a really good offense. So but we gotta you know, when when there

  is sudden change, when there are take turnovers, you know, we gotta

  be better. I don't know that we gave up a long drive or not.

  Maybe we did, but you know, we got to play better.

  But we played good, especially with Jackson out of there. We had to

  just what we're doing. We had to play nickel, basically nickel the whole

  game. I think it's insane that Jackson was kicked out of that game.
