Three U.S. Soldiers Die in Middle East Strikes | Dayton News
Another American soldier lost in the Middle East — Sergeant Angel S. Rampersad, 28, from New York — bringing the U.S. death toll to 18. Two others were confirmed earlier: First Lt. Tyler Feehan, 25, from Hawaii, and Pvt. Isabella Gonzales, 19, from Texas, both deployed against ISIS. Meanwhile, Sgt. Michael Swinton, 30, from North Carolina, died during a drone detonation in Iraq and will be honored posthumously with a Bronze Star, Purple Heart, and promotion to staff sergeant.
