- 1:18Speaker 3: Going on that background back there okay all right.
- 1:22Speaker 5: Yeah like first of all what's really funny is i'm uh.
- 1:26Speaker 3: I only sell this house at probably the end of
- 1:28Speaker 3: this of, uh, probably in the middle of next year
- 1:31Speaker 3: because I built pages retreat down in Panama city, beach, Florida.
- 1:35Speaker 3: And it's, it's a castle, man. It's, it's, it's gorgeous,
- 1:40Speaker 3: but my wife won't let me have all these pictures.
- 1:44Speaker 3: Talk us through some of that.
- 1:46Speaker 5: What are some of those?
- 1:48Speaker 3: So, uh, It's only going to be for so long.
- 1:51Speaker 3: But I've got some of my best memory stuff up
- 1:53Speaker 3: there and in the gym area and stuff. So it's
- 1:56Speaker 3: still there. It's just not like you walk into this room.
- 2:01Speaker 3: You've been here, Matt. It's everywhere. When people say, do
- 2:06Speaker 3: you miss it? I got it all around me. No,
- 2:09Speaker 3: I really don't miss it.
- 2:11Speaker 5: Dal, you got to walk me through some of these
- 2:13Speaker 5: photos in the background here. What are these significant events?
- 2:18Speaker 3: God. They all are. I'll just go down this line
- 2:25Speaker 3: right down here. That's those lonely boys and me and
- 2:29Speaker 3: Steve Austin all the way to top. You can barely
- 2:31Speaker 3: see Steve because of the darkness up there. But Austin
- 2:35Speaker 3: and I were living together. And that's me and Humperdinck
- 2:39Speaker 3: and P.S. Hayes when I was managing the Freebirds. It
- 2:44Speaker 3: was me and Humperdinck at the same time. That's me
- 2:47Speaker 3: and Bruce Springsteen. There's another picture of me and Bam
- 2:49Speaker 3: Bam and Springsteen here from another time. Me and Nash
- 2:54Speaker 3: and Kid when I believe someone was going into Hall
- 2:59Speaker 3: of Fame. I'm not sure about that. This one's pretty good.
- 3:01Speaker 3: Can you see this one over here? Yeah. That's Flair
- 3:06Speaker 3: with his haircut and his son. They did a haircut.
- 3:11Speaker 3: They lost the match, so they shaved his head.
- 3:14Speaker 5: Yeah, in the WCW.
- 3:15Speaker 3: Yeah, and this is Malone and me. And Malone, he
- 3:19Speaker 3: came to the house show when we were in Salt
- 3:24Speaker 3: Lake City. It was just a house show, but he
- 3:26Speaker 3: slid in and hit a couple diamond gutters. This was great.
- 3:31Speaker 3: Garth Brooks at the top, my buddy Bad Hammer. Can
- 3:35Speaker 3: you see over here with my hand? That's me and Piper.
- 3:38Speaker 3: Me and Piper got so close after wrestling. We were
- 3:42Speaker 3: buddies before. And we hung out occasionally when we wrestled.
- 3:46Speaker 3: But afterwards, we got so close. And he was so
- 3:50Speaker 3: moved about what I was doing with Jake. He was
- 3:53Speaker 3: so moved. I never thought in a million years that Piper,
- 3:58Speaker 3: you know, I never thought he would die that young.
- 4:00Speaker 3: You know, when you really look at it, and you've
- 4:04Speaker 3: got to look at the resurrection of Jake the Snake,
- 4:06Speaker 3: which is on Amazon Prime if you want to see
- 4:08Speaker 3: that journey. But Jake Roberts has outlived Mach. Piper, Hall, Warrior,
- 4:18Speaker 3: and Hogan.
- 4:19Speaker 4: It's crazy.
- 4:21Speaker 3: Who would ever have thought that? But he's back with
- 4:23Speaker 3: his wife. He's back with Cheryl.
- 4:25Speaker 4: He's doing all the conventions.
- 4:27Speaker 3: That's phenomenal.
- 4:29Speaker 5: Two signings a weekend.
- 4:30Speaker 3: Yeah, all the time. It's unbelievable. That's me and Goldberg
- 4:34Speaker 3: screwing around, doing something. Me and P.S. Hayes, who is
- 4:37Speaker 3: one of my super boys. This is Bo Jackson. And
- 4:42Speaker 3: I was at an Auburn game. And this is 97.
- 4:46Speaker 3: So Diamond Dallas Page is the most overused ever going
- 4:48Speaker 3: to be. And I go out there and I'm going
- 4:53Speaker 3: out on the field because I'm connected. Kimberly used to
- 4:58Speaker 3: go to school there. So I'm out on the frigging
- 5:00Speaker 3: field and the people immediately GDP. And I just threw
- 5:06Speaker 3: it up and they started a wave of diamond cutters
- 5:12Speaker 3: that went around. It was crazy. So Aubie's up on the,
- 5:18Speaker 3: Aubie the tiger, right? He's up on this little stand,
- 5:20Speaker 3: you know, the mascot, one of their mascots. So I
- 5:24Speaker 3: jump up there and Aubie goes, throw it up. I
- 5:27Speaker 3: throw it up and I grab Aubie's big ass head.
- 5:31Speaker 3: I go, you're going down, bro. I take it down. Boom!
- 5:37Speaker 3: He hit his head. I don't know if you know
- 5:39Speaker 3: anything about mascots, but when they lose their head, they
- 5:44Speaker 3: lose their mind. It's like you can't lose the head.
- 5:47Speaker 5: It's a big no-no.
- 5:50Speaker 3: Well, we're up about maybe five feet, and when we hit...
- 5:55Speaker 3: It was raining before, so boom, the water splashes. His
- 5:59Speaker 3: head goes off and takes off into the people. He goes,
- 6:03Speaker 3: my head, my head, my head. He runs and gets
- 6:07Speaker 3: his head. And then he's going, oh, my God. DDP
- 6:11Speaker 3: chipped my tooth. DDP chipped my tooth. And my buddy
- 6:14Speaker 3: Smokey walks up and goes, we got to get out
- 6:16Speaker 3: of here right now. But he was pumped that he
- 6:21Speaker 3: got his tooth broken. with a diving gun. It was
- 6:25Speaker 3: basically because the head came back and smacked the shit
- 6:30Speaker 3: out of him. So I'm coming up to the booth
- 6:34Speaker 3: and go back into the booth where my buddies are at.
- 6:37Speaker 3: And they say, hey, Bo Jackson wants to meet you.
- 6:40Speaker 3: I'm like, wants to meet me? So I go down
- 6:45Speaker 3: and meet him. And you can see when he's walking
- 6:48Speaker 3: up from down the little seated area with his boxes,
- 6:52Speaker 3: as he's moving, You can just see the muscles ripple
- 6:56Speaker 3: like he's a Tyrannosaurus or something, right?
- 7:01Speaker 4: It was crazy.
- 7:02Speaker 3: This is me and Hayes. Somebody drew that of me
- 7:04Speaker 3: and Hayes and Jimmy. Got me and Austin screwed around.
- 7:08Speaker 3: A bunch of pictures we got together. I say to Hulk,
- 7:13Speaker 3: I'm walking and I go, Hulk, let's do a selfie.
- 7:16Speaker 3: And he throws up the diving cutter.
- 7:18Speaker 5: Oh, that's awesome.
- 7:19Speaker 3: He was really good to me, man, in so many ways.
- 7:21Speaker 3: This is me and Bruno. And I was going to
- 7:26Speaker 3: be his stand-in, right? You'll love this. This is the
- 7:31Speaker 3: very first Russell. It wasn't called Russell Kahn. Sal, I
- 7:39Speaker 3: can't remember Sal's last name, Cornette. He's going to kill me.
- 7:43Speaker 3: You'll find out. I can't remember his last name. Sal Cor...
- 7:48Speaker 3: Italian name. Fill it with an Italian name there. But
- 7:52Speaker 3: great guy. Great guy. Sal was the guy. Corrente. Sal Corrente.
- 7:59Speaker 3: He was the guy who thought of the WrestleCon before
- 8:04Speaker 3: there was any cons at all. Right. Dusty and I
- 8:08Speaker 3: were the headliners. I was with it. You know, because
- 8:12Speaker 3: I was also going to, they put us on ESPN,
- 8:15Speaker 3: me and Bruno, you know, to promote the event. And
- 8:21Speaker 3: no one had ever done anything like this. And it
- 8:23Speaker 3: was in Tampa where Dusty was a god. You know,
- 8:27Speaker 3: I was really over there strong as well, but not
- 8:30Speaker 3: like the Dream. And Dream taught me something about shit
- 8:34Speaker 3: way back then. He said, first of all, you don't
- 8:39Speaker 3: do shit. Until you get half your money. That's right.
- 8:43Speaker 3: Then you make sure, then you'll pencil the date in.
- 8:47Speaker 3: He goes, when you get to the building, they give
- 8:53Speaker 3: you your money right then in cash or you leave.
- 8:57Speaker 4: That's right, baby.
- 8:58Speaker 5: These are card owner rules, it sounds like.
- 9:03Speaker 3: And as it turned out, I think Dream was getting
- 9:08Speaker 3: like 7,000 or something. I can't imagine what he would
- 9:10Speaker 3: be making today.
- 9:11Speaker 2: Oh, my God.
- 9:12Speaker 3: Because there's that elite group of guys that were Flair
- 9:16Speaker 3: and Hulk and the guys who were at that level
- 9:19Speaker 3: over that time. And really, if you look at Flair
- 9:22Speaker 3: and Rick and Hulk, That's as high as it got, right?
- 9:26Speaker 3: And I just can't imagine it, man. It was just
- 9:30Speaker 3: a little bit too shy on that. But here's one
- 9:33Speaker 3: of my favorite pictures of... Oh, so it's around the
- 9:37Speaker 3: front here. Hold on a second here. I was looking
- 9:39Speaker 3: for it.
- 9:40Speaker 4: Are you showing the picture of me and you? Which
- 9:41Speaker 4: one are you showing?
- 9:43Speaker 3: It's up there. I made the wall. You made it?
- 9:47Speaker 3: You made the wall. But there's so many of them,
- 9:49Speaker 3: I don't remember where it is. I don't remember where
- 9:51Speaker 3: the fuck it is. It's here somewhere. Here is me
- 9:55Speaker 3: and Dusty having some beers, smoking a cigar. Yeah, we're
- 10:01Speaker 3: fucking lovely. And there's Clint Eastwood there. There's Jake the
- 10:06Speaker 3: Snake Roberts there. Me and Kevin Nash at one of
- 10:08Speaker 3: my Christmas parties and Kimberly Kiss all doing the diamond
- 10:12Speaker 3: cutter side. There's Bruce Willis over there. I was one
- 10:16Speaker 3: of the celebrities, the minor celebrities at an event we
- 10:20Speaker 3: were at. And I walked up to Bruce and I said, Bruce,
- 10:24Speaker 3: can I get a picture? And he looks up at me.
- 10:26Speaker 3: And Bruce is only like maybe a buck 75. It's
- 10:29Speaker 3: not like he's 215 or anything. And he looks up
- 10:33Speaker 3: at me and he goes, like, I'm going to say
- 10:35Speaker 3: no to you.
- 10:36Speaker 7: And he got up.
- 10:39Speaker 3: And then that's me and Snoop. And over there is
- 10:42Speaker 3: Bon Jovi. And I know Johnny Bon Jovi. So I
- 10:47Speaker 3: was like, he was like 15 or 16 years old.
- 10:50Speaker 3: But you're in here, Matty, somewhere.
- 10:52Speaker 4: I know, I know, I know.
- 10:54Speaker 3: We believe you are. You've seen it.
- 10:57Speaker 2: Yeah, that room is awesome because you have a lot
- 11:00Speaker 2: of your, not only the photos with your friends on display,
- 11:02Speaker 2: but a lot of your memorabilia and collectibles. And I
- 11:05Speaker 2: appreciate that you appreciate the stuff that has been made
- 11:08Speaker 2: of you over your illustrious career.
- 11:11Speaker 3: Oh, a hundred percent. You know, I never knew that
- 11:13Speaker 3: they gave out hall of fame belts. That's pretty damn cool. Right?
- 11:23Speaker 3: Say what?
- 11:23Speaker 5: That got shipped to you.
- 11:25Speaker 3: Yeah. It's shipped. It's shipped. And they, and of course
- 11:28Speaker 3: they put their thing and that was the first time
- 11:30Speaker 3: I'd ever even seen that. Now here's a really cool
- 11:33Speaker 3: memorabilia over here that this is, I don't know where
- 11:38Speaker 3: the fuck. What country this is in. Yeah.
- 11:43Speaker 1: But this is all of us, and we're scratch-off tickets.
- 11:50Speaker 5: Oh.
- 11:51Speaker 3: Ali threw up the diving cutter's eye with me. God-bringin'
- 11:57Speaker 3: Malone and Barkley got a great story about Kenny Norton.
- 12:02Speaker 3: Look at this piece right here.
- 12:04Speaker 5: That's sick.
- 12:06Speaker 3: This is a card strip.
- 12:09Speaker 5: Yeah, uncut sheet.
- 12:10Speaker 3: Right? A sheet. There you go. Goldberg, me, Motch, Sting, Hulk, Nash, Conan, Brett, Giant, Luger.
- 12:20Speaker 3: I mean, it was a tippity top of the top there.
- 12:24Speaker 3: And then as we get into this room here, that's
- 12:27Speaker 3: more like this. I love this thing right here. This piece,
- 12:33Speaker 3: because it's got like everybody from those eras on it.
- 12:37Speaker 3: And where is this one picture? That someone drew that one.
- 12:46Speaker 3: This is one of my favorite pictures ever of me
- 12:49Speaker 3: and perfect. Yeah. The fact that then you've got the figure.
- 12:55Speaker 3: Here we go.
- 12:56Speaker 5: Let's go.
- 12:57Speaker 3: Here we go.
- 12:58Speaker 5: Do you think you have everything?
- 13:01Speaker 3: No, but I've got a lot. I've got a lot.
- 13:03Speaker 3: And I'm going to tell you, one of the things,
- 13:06Speaker 3: this is one of the biggest, coolest things, where we
- 13:08Speaker 3: talk to each other, me and Sting, and cut promos
- 13:12Speaker 3: on each other, right? The little Levery and Banner thing.
- 13:18Speaker 3: This is that accumulation of stuff. So this was something
- 13:22Speaker 3: that was pained for me when I went into Hall
- 13:24Speaker 3: of Fame. Is that cool or what?
- 13:26Speaker 5: That's Hall of Fame.
- 13:28Speaker 3: Yeah, and the... If you look at, what is this?
- 13:33Speaker 3: Most improved wrestler of the year. If you look at
- 13:37Speaker 3: that group of guys, that's very rarely does someone not
- 13:42Speaker 3: make it into like your tippity top. And then this
- 13:45Speaker 3: is a stamp. Like, and it's all on the stamp
- 13:51Speaker 3: that people can do Santa Claus. Yeah. The day that
- 13:56Speaker 3: I get to meet Ali, I got to tell you
- 13:59Speaker 3: that story. This is really classic. So the day that
- 14:02Speaker 3: I meet Ali, I'm super freaking pumped up, man, because
- 14:08Speaker 3: I'm Mickety Mark for him. I'm getting up at 530
- 14:15Speaker 3: in the morning because I'm going to catch this plane early.
- 14:19Speaker 3: Because I'm not going to sign until two or three o'clock.
- 14:22Speaker 3: But he's signing like at nine. So man, I got
- 14:26Speaker 3: to get there. I got to be waiting there to
- 14:29Speaker 3: meet them and see how it looks at least talked
- 14:31Speaker 3: over five minutes. Right. So I get on the plane,
- 14:36Speaker 3: so going to get in around maybe 11 o'clock or
- 14:39Speaker 3: something like that. Oh my God. We're stuck on the
- 14:45Speaker 3: tarmac and I'm not going anywhere. This lasts for a
- 14:50Speaker 3: little over two hours. So by the time I get
- 14:55Speaker 3: to the building, I'm sure he ain't going to be here.
- 14:59Speaker 3: He ain't going to be here. So I run to
- 15:02Speaker 3: the green room. Look at, I mean, Jabbar was there.
- 15:06Speaker 3: Frigging James Worthy was there. Frigging the Rocket was there.
- 15:10Speaker 3: I mean, Chipper Jones. I mean, everybody who was anybody
- 15:14Speaker 3: was there. It was the biggest one of the most
- 15:16Speaker 3: talent I've ever seen. And I just, he's not there.
- 15:22Speaker 3: I'm like, fuck. And I hear, damn. I turn around
- 15:28Speaker 3: and swear to God, Zali. And he goes, come here.
- 15:35Speaker 3: And as I'm walking up to him, he says, or
- 15:40Speaker 3: I should say he calls, lock up.
- 15:45Speaker 5: Holy shit.
- 15:48Speaker 3: Holy shit. Right. Like Ali. And the only reason that
- 15:54Speaker 3: I don't have this picture with Ali, cause I've met
- 15:58Speaker 3: him like two, two times. Yeah. Three times after that.
- 16:00Speaker 3: But I forgot every time to do this. But that
- 16:04Speaker 3: day I was running. You guys remember Kenny Norton?
- 16:07Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 16:08Speaker 3: He actually beat Ali one time. You know what I mean?
- 16:10Speaker 3: He was a bad motherfucker boy. So yeah. I'm running
- 16:15Speaker 3: because I want to catch him before he leaves. And
- 16:18Speaker 3: as I come around the corner, he's running and we
- 16:22Speaker 3: run right into each other. And I'm like, Teddy, he goes,
- 16:26Speaker 3: did he pee? I go, God, I can't believe you
- 16:29Speaker 3: know me. He goes, yes, of course I do, man.
- 16:30Speaker 3: He goes, I'm late. I was coming over here to
- 16:33Speaker 3: meet you because I heard you're over here, but I'm
- 16:35Speaker 3: late for a flight. He goes, let's take a picture.
- 16:38Speaker 3: Let's do that diamond cutter thing you do. His hand
- 16:42Speaker 3: goes up. My hand goes up. That's the first time
- 16:46Speaker 3: I ever did that with anybody. That's cool.
- 16:48Speaker 5: Were you always conscious of taking these photos or collecting
- 16:52Speaker 5: your stuff? Or is this stuff you've gathered later in
- 16:53Speaker 5: your career where you're like, oh, shit, I've lived a
- 16:56Speaker 5: pretty incredible life. I should hold on to some of
- 16:58Speaker 5: these things? Or are you just always thinking that way?
- 17:04Speaker 3: Because, like, as I went on this run, and you've
- 17:10Speaker 3: got to see this picture from here again, because this is...
- 17:13Speaker 3: I knew Bon Jovi when he was no one, like
- 17:16Speaker 3: 15 years old. And I never got any pictures, but
- 17:19Speaker 3: that's me and him. And I've got a picture of
- 17:22Speaker 3: him at the beginning of a tour on my stuff
- 17:26Speaker 3: and at the end of a tour. And I guess
- 17:29Speaker 3: I don't know. I have no idea where that one
- 17:31Speaker 3: is either. But... There's so many of them in here.
- 17:34Speaker 3: Like you can see it's there. So, uh, their magazine
- 17:41Speaker 3: covers are all that shit, but I was glad it happened,
- 17:45Speaker 3: but he, I didn't have any pictures back when he,
- 17:48Speaker 3: like I have pictures with Teddy swims and he's no one.
- 17:53Speaker 3: He's just starting to take off on YouTube. And I
- 17:58Speaker 3: meet him at, um, Dominique Wilkins' 60th birthday party. So there's,
- 18:09Speaker 3: as I walk in, they said dress to impress. So
- 18:12Speaker 3: me and Paige, my daughter, Brittany, my buddy, Josh, like
- 18:16Speaker 3: we're all decked out. And we walked into, they weren't
- 18:19Speaker 3: like shorts and flip-flops, but nobody was dressed up. And
- 18:23Speaker 3: I'd rather always be overdressed than underdressed. But Teddy is,
- 18:29Speaker 3: At that time, you guys all know who Teddy Swims is, right?
- 18:31Speaker 5: Yeah, I just met him. He was backstage at TNA.
- 18:33Speaker 5: I just met him recently, actually.
- 18:34Speaker 3: Oh, that's great, great. What town was that in, Atlanta? Nashville.
- 18:40Speaker 3: Of course, Nashville. Yeah, that's where he's at now. But
- 18:44Speaker 3: so Teddy freaking sees me, and he goes, no one
- 18:48Speaker 3: else is going to sell this? He goes, I will. Oh,
- 18:51Speaker 3: my God. You know, I'm not worthy. And he tells
- 18:56Speaker 3: me that Dominique– would listen to Teddy and loved his voice.
- 19:04Speaker 3: And one of the guys, his personal assistant, realized that
- 19:09Speaker 3: Teddy lived in Conyers, which is like 30 minutes from
- 19:13Speaker 3: where Dominique lives. They said, well, send him an email.
- 19:17Speaker 3: I want him to play at my party. So that's
- 19:20Speaker 3: how he gets booked. That's how he said, will you listen?
- 19:22Speaker 3: Will you come out and listen when I play? I'm like, absolutely. So, oh, wow.
- 19:29Speaker 3: And then we start partying, start drinking tequila and shit.
- 19:33Speaker 3: And I realized that this cat, the only one that
- 19:38Speaker 3: can fuck this up is him. And how many guys?
- 19:42Speaker 3: I mean, it's just entertainment in general. But when you're
- 19:45Speaker 3: the band coming into town and you're the party, you know,
- 19:50Speaker 3: it takes a different life and it's hard not to frigging,
- 19:55Speaker 3: you know, be get in that mode and be drinking
- 19:57Speaker 3: and that whole thing. I said, bro, you have a
- 20:01Speaker 3: gift that I know, you know, you have, but it's
- 20:06Speaker 3: just starting to take off for you. You know, we
- 20:09Speaker 3: meet him, he would come up here and work out
- 20:11Speaker 3: with me like all the time. There's, there's literally workouts
- 20:17Speaker 3: that are on DDP yoga. That's got Teddy swims, Paul,
- 20:21Speaker 3: Walter Hauser. We all know Paul is that right? He's like,
- 20:24Speaker 3: he's like the actor of your generation. Like he's one
- 20:27Speaker 3: of the best actors on the planet, but you also
- 20:30Speaker 3: see Ron breaker in there and Darby Allen all at
- 20:35Speaker 3: the same time. But, uh, Teddy came up here all
- 20:39Speaker 3: the time. Teddy actually cross, you know, he's all tatted
- 20:44Speaker 3: up everywhere, but, uh, On his calf, he's got Mr.
- 20:48Speaker 3: Rogers on one side, and on the other side, he's
- 20:51Speaker 3: got DDP holding his foot over his head.
- 20:55Speaker 5: What?
- 20:58Speaker 3: As a character. Yeah, really funny, really funny.
- 21:02Speaker 2: So, DDP, this is the major wrestling figure podcast. Off air,
- 21:06Speaker 2: we were talking about how now the collectibles have exploded,
- 21:10Speaker 2: and like- you're still getting merchandise to this day. Like,
- 21:13Speaker 2: how does that feel to get still to this day, 2026,
- 21:16Speaker 2: get brand new stuff.
- 21:17Speaker 5: I just got 70 years old.
- 21:18Speaker 4: You just sent me this new Funko pop came out
- 21:23Speaker 4: this year. Like how crazy is that for you?
- 21:25Speaker 3: You know, dude, this year I, there's no, I think
- 21:30Speaker 3: it's might be four different figures, but I know this one,
- 21:34Speaker 3: which I love the NWO one. Oh my God. And
- 21:39Speaker 3: this one, And it was that nitro series. They had
- 21:43Speaker 3: me in jeans and they had me in the black tights. Yeah.
- 21:46Speaker 3: There was like four different ones. Like this is how
- 21:50Speaker 3: I explain wrestling now. And my wife is the one
- 21:53Speaker 3: who made me really realize it. Cause I was talking
- 21:55Speaker 3: about it. She goes, I love the way you explain that.
- 21:58Speaker 3: And what I said is, first of all, there was
- 22:00Speaker 3: a woman, this is a black woman from the forties
- 22:04Speaker 3: and her name was, she was a poet. Her name
- 22:07Speaker 3: was Maya Angelou. And one of my favorite quotes by
- 22:16Speaker 3: her is, they may not remember what you said. They
- 22:20Speaker 3: may not even remember what you did. But they'll always
- 22:25Speaker 3: remember the way you made them feel. That's what wrestling is.
- 22:31Speaker 3: Because you know, as performers, we get out there. you know,
- 22:37Speaker 3: in front of 20,000 people before we walk out there,
- 22:43Speaker 3: I know that they know, and they know that I know,
- 22:46Speaker 3: and I know that they know that I know that
- 22:48Speaker 3: both of us know who's going to win before we
- 22:49Speaker 3: walk out there. Like, think about that. How do you
- 22:53Speaker 3: make them care? That's the secret.
- 22:57Speaker 5: Right.
- 22:58Speaker 3: And some guys get it. Some guys don't. Some guys
- 23:00Speaker 3: get it. And they still hold you down. That's what
- 23:02Speaker 3: happened with me the whole beginning. When my shit was
- 23:05Speaker 3: starting to get over, they would not push it at all.
- 23:10Speaker 3: So I did. And.
- 23:13Speaker 3: There was a time when I was talking to Broski
- 23:17Speaker 3: there years ago. And I said, it reminds me of
- 23:20Speaker 3: what was happening in your career is what happened with mine.
- 23:23Speaker 3: Like you got yourself over like incredibly, like the, the
- 23:30Speaker 3: bottom line is if you, if you don't do it,
- 23:34Speaker 3: if you don't think that you can be there, nobody,
- 23:38Speaker 3: nobody will ever see it. So you got to believe
- 23:40Speaker 3: it more than anybody times a thousand. So making the
- 23:45Speaker 3: people care. And that's when Diamond Dallas Page stopped trying,
- 23:50Speaker 3: or I should say when Page Joseph Falkenberg, I knew
- 23:53Speaker 3: that name was never going to draw any money in
- 23:55Speaker 3: the world of professional wrestling. When Paige Joseph Falkenberg stopped
- 24:00Speaker 3: being Diamond Dallas Paige or trying to be this bigger
- 24:03Speaker 3: than life over the top wrestling persona. When Paige Joseph
- 24:07Speaker 3: Falkenberg stopped trying to be Diamond Dallas Paige and Diamond
- 24:10Speaker 3: Dallas Paige started taking on the characteristics of Paige Joseph Falkenberg. Bang.
- 24:16Speaker 3: That's when my career took off like a rocket. And
- 24:18Speaker 3: people really begin to care because in real life and
- 24:24Speaker 3: Scott Hall used to say it all the time. You're
- 24:26Speaker 3: not a heel. You're a baby face. It's who you are.
- 24:28Speaker 3: It's like, you just want to exaggerate that. So when
- 24:31Speaker 3: that took off because of Scott and Kev, you know,
- 24:34Speaker 3: cause all that happened, it got people to care at
- 24:37Speaker 3: a different level. And it's kind of like Santa Claus,
- 24:43Speaker 3: you know, like if you're in a room of eight
- 24:45Speaker 3: year olds and there's frigging six or seven parents, Everybody
- 24:49Speaker 3: believes in Santa Claus, everyone. But when you're not, we
- 24:55Speaker 3: all know it's a work, but maybe it's just the
- 24:59Speaker 3: belief part. And so that a woman, this woman, Maya Angelou,
- 25:04Speaker 3: was a Black woman in the 40s and 50s, who
- 25:07Speaker 3: was quoted over and over and over again. Think about that,
- 25:10Speaker 3: because you know how Black people were treated in this
- 25:12Speaker 3: country was fucked up, you know, for the longest time,
- 25:17Speaker 3: really bad. And she still had a voice, because quotes
- 25:22Speaker 3: like that in her poems, they freaking really resonated with people.
- 25:27Speaker 3: They remember the way you made them feel. So the
- 25:29Speaker 3: fact that There's four different action figures this year, and
- 25:38Speaker 3: they don't use me on anything. Yesterday, they came and
- 25:42Speaker 3: filmed with me for a bunch of the shows, but
- 25:44Speaker 3: they don't bring me in or do shit with me
- 25:46Speaker 3: because they can say that it has nothing to do
- 25:49Speaker 3: with being from WCW. Yeah. But it does. But it does.
- 25:54Speaker 3: And you're not going to fucking say that to me. No,
- 25:57Speaker 3: there is that little bit of heat that goes with it.
- 26:02Speaker 3: But I'm good with it. I love being a part
- 26:05Speaker 3: of the crew and being able to come back and
- 26:09Speaker 3: see the shows and whatever. But it's really incredible to me.
- 26:14Speaker 3: When I do signings, man, that line is long. That's right.
- 26:19Speaker 3: And that people... care that much. And they wait because
- 26:25Speaker 3: I don't rush anyone. And I tell whoever's booking me,
- 26:29Speaker 3: I'm not expensive like Shawn Michaels or those guys. But,
- 26:34Speaker 3: you know. but I'm expensive, you know, for that top
- 26:39Speaker 3: tier guy that will go out, you know, like a
- 26:42Speaker 3: Kevin Nash or Mick Foley, you know, um, that will
- 26:46Speaker 3: go out and do the shows. And I don't do
- 26:49Speaker 3: that many of them. Uh, but I do like, I'm
- 26:51Speaker 3: doing this show in, in, uh, in, um, Houston on
- 26:56Speaker 3: a third thing, second, third, I think whatever the weekend is, uh,
- 27:01Speaker 3: in Houston in October, the first weekend, uh, But I'm
- 27:04Speaker 3: mainly doing it because I'm going to go get to
- 27:06Speaker 3: see Nash. We'll go out to dinner and we'll get
- 27:07Speaker 3: to hang out. That's the only time I'll get to
- 27:10Speaker 3: do that with him, you know? Brodsky goes everywhere for Nobu.
- 27:13Speaker 3: That's why he goes everywhere.
- 27:14Speaker 5: Yeah, he has a Nobu Brodsky. Is there, you know,
- 27:18Speaker 5: all these figures throughout the years, is there a time
- 27:20Speaker 5: period of your career that they haven't encapsulated in an
- 27:23Speaker 5: actual figure yet that you would love to see?
- 27:26Speaker 3: Yes. And the only reason I say that it was
- 27:30Speaker 3: such passion is because someone made one. And what they
- 27:36Speaker 3: did is they took my head and they put it
- 27:42Speaker 3: on the La Parca. Oh, yeah. Yeah, yeah, yeah. How
- 27:48Speaker 3: crazy is that, right?
- 27:50Speaker 5: He has an agreement with AAA now, and that could
- 27:52Speaker 5: be a reality, actually.
- 27:53Speaker 3: That could be a reality.
- 27:55Speaker 5: Put that out into the universe.
- 27:58Speaker 3: I got everything. And that's the key to everything. Throwing
- 28:02Speaker 3: it in the universe. This one guy made me a figure.
- 28:05Speaker 3: Here it is right here. I got to bring this
- 28:08Speaker 3: to you. This is a guy from England who sent
- 28:12Speaker 3: me this figure. and made of the combination of, okay?
- 28:18Speaker 3: So it's got my head, right?
- 28:20Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 28:21Speaker 3: And you've got somebody in a tank top and put
- 28:25Speaker 3: DDP Yoga on it. He's wearing the power cups.
- 28:31Speaker 4: Holy shit.
- 28:35Speaker 3: The shorts are the other broski. God, Tim, excuse my–
- 28:41Speaker 3: The fighter, UFC fighter. Oh, Matt Riddle. Matt Riddle. How
- 28:45Speaker 3: can I forget Matt Riddle? I love Matt Riddle. That's
- 28:47Speaker 3: why he's barefoot. Yeah, that's why he's barefoot. And he's
- 28:51Speaker 3: got the deal. But that blew my mind. And this
- 28:57Speaker 3: guy was at my mom's. She passed about eight months ago.
- 29:02Speaker 3: But she had that one. And now listen to this.
- 29:06Speaker 3: My dad left this planet about a year before that.
- 29:11Speaker 3: And my dad had like a shrine, like made me
- 29:16Speaker 3: look like I don't have shit in this place. It was,
- 29:19Speaker 3: it was just smaller. It would be all this shit
- 29:21Speaker 3: in a, in a room, you know, in one room
- 29:24Speaker 3: instead of three. But, um, I told Sally, I said,
- 29:30Speaker 3: I called my sister and I said, Sal, I said,
- 29:32Speaker 3: I know you cleaned up all the stuff. dads, blah, blah, blah.
- 29:35Speaker 3: I said, send me my vest back. You know, the
- 29:39Speaker 3: leather vest. Everything was like, like padded. So it was
- 29:46Speaker 3: like 3D effect. The vest was like three grand, you know,
- 29:50Speaker 3: back then. Today it'd be more like seven probably. I mean,
- 29:54Speaker 3: it was beautiful. And I had two of them. And
- 29:57Speaker 3: I told my dad, I said, as long as you're here,
- 29:59Speaker 3: it's yours. I said, when you're not, send it. I'm
- 30:02Speaker 3: going to make sure I get it back. You're not
- 30:04Speaker 3: going to send it back, but send it back.
- 30:06Speaker 4: That's something I would do.
- 30:09Speaker 3: So my sister goes, oh, no, I gave that to mommy. Now,
- 30:15Speaker 3: if my mom wanted it. hang up or have your
- 30:18Speaker 3: part of her shit. No, my mom was a flea
- 30:22Speaker 3: market queen. No, she loved the flea market and she
- 30:27Speaker 3: had so much shit. She would always ask him for
- 30:29Speaker 3: more stuff. And any of your friends tell him I want,
- 30:32Speaker 3: cause I go, mom, you've got plenty of money. You
- 30:35Speaker 3: don't need to do this, but what it was and
- 30:39Speaker 3: people lose this. And this is why people get old
- 30:41Speaker 3: and they just hate life. She had no purpose. That
- 30:45Speaker 3: was her purpose. Like this flea market, she's going to
- 30:49Speaker 3: sell more this week than you did last week. And
- 30:52Speaker 3: so I would sign shirts for her and pictures and
- 30:55Speaker 3: she'd sell them too. And so I go, mom, I go,
- 31:00Speaker 3: can you do me a favor? Can you send me
- 31:02Speaker 3: that vest back? She goes, oh no, I sold it.
- 31:05Speaker 4: Oh no, ma, ma, ma.
- 31:09Speaker 3: Please don't tell me you sold that fucking vest for $ 20.
- 31:16Speaker 3: She goes, no, I got 400. I go, 400? Those
- 31:22Speaker 3: collectors would pay 4,000, 5,000, 6,000 for that vest. Well,
- 31:28Speaker 3: I didn't know. And what are you going to do?
- 31:31Speaker 3: Yell at your mother?
- 31:33Speaker 5: Plus now you can, people would photo match that and
- 31:37Speaker 5: it could be worth even more. you know, depending on
- 31:40Speaker 5: where you wore it and what you accomplished.
- 31:41Speaker 3: Yeah. Oh, dude. Yeah. That was, that was, that vest
- 31:46Speaker 3: I wore for years because it was, it was so cool.
- 31:52Speaker 3: And the lightning bolts that went through it and eventually
- 31:55Speaker 3: you made tights around that too. But I'll tell you
- 31:58Speaker 3: the one guy who really got it, I'm sure you
- 32:01Speaker 3: guys got this too, but Cody Rhodes, cause you know,
- 32:05Speaker 3: he wears something different all the time. Yeah. You know,
- 32:09Speaker 3: And even when he wasn't making the money, he still
- 32:14Speaker 3: was investing in that to keep. And I don't know
- 32:18Speaker 3: if he'll ever sell any of that shit, you know,
- 32:21Speaker 3: but he must have millions of dollars, you know, in stuff. Yeah.
- 32:29Speaker 3: Nobody really thought about that back then. You know, why
- 32:32Speaker 3: would you, you'll want you. And then I did, I did, uh,
- 32:37Speaker 3: I did one of the auctions with one of the guys,
- 32:40Speaker 3: and he's like, why are you selling this stuff so fast?
- 32:42Speaker 3: I go, it's worth that, blah, blah, blah. I didn't
- 32:45Speaker 3: realize the value that it was. I still had a
- 32:48Speaker 3: great day on that, and I pulled a bunch of
- 32:50Speaker 3: stuff out of here, but boy, I wish I had
- 32:52Speaker 3: to sell it now. I still have some stuff. But
- 32:57Speaker 3: I have a lot of stuff that's like old figures
- 33:01Speaker 3: and stuff that are in boxes that I will see
- 33:04Speaker 3: what kind of condition it's in. But I just pulled out.
- 33:07Speaker 3: I've got like three big bins. And I'm going to
- 33:10Speaker 3: do the whatnot thing. Yeah, baby.
- 33:14Speaker 6: You do.
- 33:14Speaker 5: Now you're speaking my language.
- 33:17Speaker 3: Matt, I'd love to come on. If you guys each
- 33:19Speaker 3: have a channel, I'd love to come on and talk.
- 33:21Speaker 3: Get on the show. I don't know if you can
- 33:23Speaker 3: do that with Zoom, but my buddy Tony, he's the
- 33:27Speaker 3: one who really smartened me up for this. and how
- 33:30Speaker 3: much money that he makes on figures and mainly it's
- 33:34Speaker 3: because of whatnot and of course his store and whatever.
- 33:38Speaker 5: It's live interactive shopping which obviously you would be incredible
- 33:42Speaker 5: at you know you're you know you're engaging you're being
- 33:45Speaker 5: charismatic you know it's pretty yeah i'm just being me.
- 33:51Speaker 2: Speaking of figures let's let's talk about your your first
- 33:53Speaker 2: ever figure can we pop that on the screen.
- 33:55Speaker 3: Yeah this one Dude, there's a great story behind that one.
- 34:00Speaker 4: Oh, let's hear it.
- 34:02Speaker 3: I'm nobody. Nobody. And I would say I'm not the
- 34:12Speaker 3: top of the bottom, but I'm the bottom of the middle, right?
- 34:16Speaker 3: I'm the bottom. Like, I'm getting over, but, you know,
- 34:21Speaker 3: a little bit here and there.
- 34:24Speaker 5: That could be the title of your autobiography.
- 34:27Speaker 3: Yeah. broski's had some.
- 34:32Speaker 7: Real amazing moments though he's had some real amazing moments
- 34:37Speaker 7: but um so uh the guy's named robbie kanoff yeah
- 34:42Speaker 7: he called himself the.
- 34:44Speaker 3: Toy yes jewish lightning Me and him connected like a motherfucker.
- 34:50Speaker 3: Because I could still party hard then. And I don't
- 34:55Speaker 3: mean on cocaine or bullshit like that. I stopped that
- 34:58Speaker 3: shit when I was 29. Great story. I'm going to
- 35:03Speaker 3: segue back to that. I'm in freaking Miami. And I'm
- 35:07Speaker 3: 29 years old. Uh, I'm down here. I'm going to
- 35:12Speaker 3: frigging bartend. You know, I'm going to enjoy a spring
- 35:16Speaker 3: break because my buddy has raised the money to build
- 35:20Speaker 3: a club in Fort Myers, but it's not built yet,
- 35:23Speaker 3: but I want to see what it's like working a
- 35:25Speaker 3: spring break. So somehow I end up with Kevin Kelly,
- 35:29Speaker 3: who is Jim Kelly's brother. And, you know, just that
- 35:35Speaker 3: the rails got passed to me and I went boom, boom. And, uh,
- 35:40Speaker 3: All of a sudden, I was like, what the fuck
- 35:43Speaker 3: is this? Like, it hit me so hard. I got
- 35:47Speaker 3: up and jacked him into the wall. I go, what
- 35:50Speaker 3: the fuck did you just give me? He goes, it's
- 35:52Speaker 3: just really good. It's just really good. He goes, take
- 35:56Speaker 3: some breaths here. You're going to be fine. It's going
- 35:59Speaker 3: to settle. It's going to be amazing. I was like, whoa.
- 36:04Speaker 3: And I thought, that shit could own me. And I
- 36:09Speaker 3: never did it again. And I can remember as a
- 36:14Speaker 3: kid watching Mercury Morris, who was, you know, one of
- 36:18Speaker 3: the halfback for the undefeated Miami Dolphins. And he was
- 36:24Speaker 3: doing PSAs about how drugs can ruin your life because
- 36:29Speaker 3: he was just getting out of jail and lost everything
- 36:33Speaker 3: because of the drugs. And I'm thinking, bullshit. And then
- 36:38Speaker 3: I tasted that shit and I was like, oh, I
- 36:40Speaker 3: get it now.
- 36:41Speaker 5: We grew up with those take the snake, say no
- 36:44Speaker 5: to drug ads in our WWF.
- 36:45Speaker 3: Oh, big, big time, you know? So back to Robbie,
- 36:50Speaker 3: Robbie and I partied, like we dragged, we, we had
- 36:52Speaker 3: a great time. So that year he tells me, Hey,
- 36:57Speaker 3: I made you one of the action figures. Are you serious?
- 37:01Speaker 3: He goes, yeah. He goes, don't say anything right now.
- 37:04Speaker 3: It's going to come out on clutter. Cause all the
- 37:06Speaker 3: other guys were top guys.
- 37:08Speaker 6: Right.
- 37:08Speaker 3: And then, so that's that figure, but you know, when
- 37:11Speaker 3: that comes out.
- 37:12Speaker 5: Right.
- 37:12Speaker 3: Is my career start to explore.
- 37:14Speaker 5: It was like perfect time because it's a year long process.
- 37:16Speaker 5: So when he started this, you're growing on television, you know, your,
- 37:20Speaker 5: your stock.
- 37:22Speaker 3: Crazy, man. There was a figure to go with me.
- 37:26Speaker 3: And then the following year, I go with Hulk. And
- 37:30Speaker 3: now there's all these.
- 37:31Speaker 4: Oh, we got those. Let's put those up, D.
- 37:35Speaker 3: Yes, exactly. Exactly. And I have some of these. So
- 37:40Speaker 3: I will be selling some of these on whatnot. I
- 37:43Speaker 3: will be doing that. And just like pictures would be
- 37:47Speaker 3: in Hulk. Like, I don't know if someone wants it,
- 37:49Speaker 3: but you're a huge Hulk fan. and you're a huge
- 37:51Speaker 3: DDP fan, you got to have that picture. Yeah. At
- 37:53Speaker 3: least I can sign it. You know what I mean? Yeah.
- 37:56Speaker 3: And so I'm going to put all these pictures together.
- 37:59Speaker 3: Some things I'm keeping, like, but, you know, a lot
- 38:03Speaker 3: of it, it's got to go because it's not going
- 38:05Speaker 3: to go at all. This is one of my favorite
- 38:06Speaker 3: pictures ever. What a group right there, huh?
- 38:10Speaker 5: Is this at Toy Fair promoting the new stuff?
- 38:13Speaker 3: You know, I think the Hulk's holding, remember the one
- 38:15Speaker 3: I showed you where he had his stamps?
- 38:17Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 38:17Speaker 3: That's what Hulk's holding on to. I got another really
- 38:22Speaker 3: cool picture of Stinger in the same thing, because that's
- 38:25Speaker 3: what we're doing. We're doing the... Oh, wow.
- 38:29Speaker 7: Oh, wow.
- 38:31Speaker 4: Hard Rock Cafe. Hey, New York. Look, that's what it
- 38:33Speaker 4: says in the background. Hard Rock Cafe.
- 38:35Speaker 3: Yeah, right. Hard Rock.
- 38:36Speaker 4: Harley Davidson Cafe, maybe.
- 38:38Speaker 3: Yeah, Harley Davidson.
- 38:38Speaker 4: Something like that.
- 38:39Speaker 3: Let me see. Harley, is it? Yes, Harley Davidson Cafe.
- 38:42Speaker 3: That ad about to save shelf life is the Nitro Cafe.
- 38:45Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 38:50Speaker 3: Holy.
- 38:51Speaker 4: We got some more weird figures. Some weird ones, some
- 38:53Speaker 4: good ones. What's the next one we got, D?
- 38:56Speaker 5: Oh, yeah.
- 38:58Speaker 3: Dude.
- 38:59Speaker 5: That's a big deal to get a buddy.
- 39:01Speaker 3: There's only four of us. When the original ones came out,
- 39:05Speaker 3: and I was one of them. Let go of my nose.
- 39:08Speaker 3: Let go of my arm. You're getting banged. Ding, ding, ding, ding. So,
- 39:19Speaker 3: What you guys don't know is that when I negotiated
- 39:25Speaker 3: my contract for 97 and 98, what you don't know
- 39:31Speaker 3: is that I'm at maybe the middle of the card.
- 39:38Speaker 3: And Bischoff's super tight with me, but he would not
- 39:42Speaker 3: let he would not give me the money he would
- 39:45Speaker 3: he would not favor me like when they when he
- 39:48Speaker 3: inducted me in the hall of fame he was like
- 39:51Speaker 3: that dallas he held he helped me get my job
- 39:54Speaker 3: meaning the job he has which i got great stories
- 39:57Speaker 3: about one but he said but when he working for
- 40:01Speaker 3: me because we were so close he had to work
- 40:05Speaker 3: twice as hard now i had to work five times
- 40:07Speaker 3: harder to get and i had to be so resilient
- 40:12Speaker 3: and persistent and, and just like to a certain degree,
- 40:17Speaker 3: just be so over the top that I can do this.
- 40:21Speaker 3: So this whole run that I do in 97, 98,
- 40:24Speaker 3: I got paid two 50 and two 75 for the years.
- 40:32Speaker 3: And everybody else was making millions, but I didn't, I didn't,
- 40:38Speaker 3: I didn't give a fuck. Because I was living the
- 40:42Speaker 3: dream on such a level, like, fuck it, that's more
- 40:45Speaker 3: important to have actually got there and broke through eight
- 40:50Speaker 3: of the most over guys on the planet.
- 40:52Speaker 4: Oh, 100%.
- 40:53Speaker 3: Yeah, like, the only guys we didn't have was Austin
- 40:59Speaker 3: and Taker and Sean. That's the only guys we didn't have.
- 41:05Speaker 3: But to be able to break through that and I
- 41:11Speaker 3: get this figures check at Christmas. Now, my new contract's
- 41:16Speaker 3: about to kick in, and I'm waiting to see what
- 41:19Speaker 3: that number's going to be because I know it's going
- 41:21Speaker 3: to be, it's like hitting the lottery every two weeks
- 41:24Speaker 3: when you're at that level, like a really good lottery.
- 41:29Speaker 3: And I got that check, though, before it was for $ 99, 000. Oh,
- 41:34Speaker 3: my God. Kim screamed, oh my God. She goes, get
- 41:43Speaker 3: up here, look at this. And I just see 99,000.
- 41:47Speaker 5: Toy biz money right there.
- 41:49Speaker 3: Oh, yeah. So that guy's one of my favorite guys.
- 41:53Speaker 5: That had to be a big leap. He went from
- 41:56Speaker 5: a career that had virtually no merch to an overload
- 41:59Speaker 5: of merch. It's unbelievable.
- 42:02Speaker 3: And that's one of the things. When I left to
- 42:04Speaker 3: go to WWF, I will say WWE on their TV,
- 42:08Speaker 3: but it was, we all know it was WWF. When
- 42:11Speaker 3: I left to go there, they wouldn't, our company wouldn't
- 42:16Speaker 3: let you leave unless you took 50 cents on the dollar. Well,
- 42:20Speaker 3: me and Nash and what you're talking about had a
- 42:23Speaker 3: lawsuit with Turner on merchandise because we would see shit
- 42:31Speaker 3: like I have never been paid a dime for that.
- 42:38Speaker 4: A bowling ball?
- 42:40Speaker 3: A fucking bowling ball. And I'm like, where's the money
- 42:44Speaker 3: on this? Because we were in leagues, you know?
- 42:49Speaker 5: We were in bowling leagues.
- 42:53Speaker 3: Everywhere. And so me and, it was 12 of us.
- 42:56Speaker 3: Goldberg was a part of it. Booker was a part
- 42:59Speaker 3: of it. Steiner was a part of it. We were
- 43:01Speaker 3: all suing Turner, but little by little, they'd skated out
- 43:06Speaker 3: of it. And for me, we'll give you 70 cents
- 43:12Speaker 3: on the dollar if you drop the lawsuit. Nash was
- 43:17Speaker 3: the only one. And I don't know how much he
- 43:19Speaker 3: signed for, the NDA on that, but it was a
- 43:23Speaker 3: lot of money. And if I would have listened to
- 43:25Speaker 3: Kevin Nash, I left $ 487, 000 on the table. $ 478, 000. But
- 43:34Speaker 3: I'm thinking that's my base. Freaking Steve told me what
- 43:39Speaker 3: kind of money he's made. I'm going to roll right
- 43:41Speaker 3: into the main event on this shit. I'm going to
- 43:44Speaker 3: make like $ 3 or $ 4 million. Who gives a fuck
- 43:46Speaker 3: about the downside?
- 43:48Speaker 6: Oh, man.
- 43:50Speaker 3: I didn't know the heat I had walking in there.
- 43:57Speaker 3: And it was everybody from the company, you know, and
- 44:00Speaker 3: it was funny because Steve, well, he lived with me,
- 44:04Speaker 3: you know, and he saw me work at DDP yoga,
- 44:11Speaker 3: the same way I worked at wrestling. And he would
- 44:15Speaker 3: tell me like, kid, I don't want to see you
- 44:19Speaker 3: wasting all this money. You're never going to get people
- 44:24Speaker 3: who wouldn't be caught dead doing yoga to do fucking yoga.
- 44:29Speaker 3: He hated seeing me lose that. But again, vision. People
- 44:36Speaker 3: who say, I believe it when I see it, never
- 44:37Speaker 3: see shit. People who say, I believe it because I
- 44:40Speaker 3: see it. Those are the game changers. And those are
- 44:43Speaker 3: the relentless ones. And those are the ones who make it.
- 44:46Speaker 3: And you got to get through a lot of shit,
- 44:48Speaker 3: as you all know, to get to that frigging spot. But,
- 44:52Speaker 3: you know, Austin being there and, you know, living with me.
- 44:58Speaker 3: So now he's living in, you know, got a place
- 45:00Speaker 3: living with his girl and, And so he's doing that podcast,
- 45:03Speaker 3: but he's doing it with not with the company. He's
- 45:05Speaker 3: doing it with some other guy. He's one of the
- 45:07Speaker 3: first podcasters and he could have been incredibly large in
- 45:13Speaker 3: that venue, but he just didn't want to do it anymore.
- 45:16Speaker 3: But he did it forever. And I was probably on
- 45:18Speaker 3: the show like 20 times because I was his constant
- 45:22Speaker 3: fill-in if someone didn't get a guest. So I was
- 45:26Speaker 3: there for him to do shit. So he never asked
- 45:30Speaker 3: me this question until the company does it with him, right?
- 45:34Speaker 3: And the company built him this beautiful studio out of
- 45:38Speaker 3: his ranch, which is unbelievable. And they flew me out there.
- 45:43Speaker 3: And the first question he asked me, He says, so
- 45:49Speaker 3: when you guys came with the whole invasion thing, did
- 45:54Speaker 3: you guys realize the heat you guys had? And I'm like,
- 46:01Speaker 3: fuck no. I would never have come. Why would I
- 46:05Speaker 3: do that? Why would I do that? You know, so yeah, I,
- 46:11Speaker 3: I had a great moment. I had a bunch of
- 46:13Speaker 3: great moments on, uh, Takers on Takers podcast and got
- 46:20Speaker 3: to do LGF with him. And as you can imagine,
- 46:24Speaker 3: coming off of that in the beginning, I just kept
- 46:28Speaker 3: my mouth shut and just breathe through it. I knew
- 46:31Speaker 3: this too shall pass. And at some point, take it
- 46:36Speaker 3: pulled me over one of the manias or something. He goes, Hey,
- 46:40Speaker 3: I just want you to know, I watched resurrection the
- 46:43Speaker 3: other day. He goes, you really are a good dude.
- 46:48Speaker 3: And that like opened up the volley of us talking and,
- 46:53Speaker 3: and I would say becoming friends. Like, like he's, I
- 46:56Speaker 3: consider one of my buddies and I did LGF with him.
- 47:00Speaker 3: We had such a great time and that did his podcast.
- 47:03Speaker 3: And he put me over like a son of a bitch, man.
- 47:05Speaker 3: Like I was, I was really, it made me feel
- 47:08Speaker 3: so good that he, he never heard any of the
- 47:11Speaker 3: stories and he loved hearing them. And then we get
- 47:15Speaker 3: to the part where he says, so now we got
- 47:19Speaker 3: to talk about the WWE. And I just started laughing.
- 47:25Speaker 3: I went, go ahead, bro. I'm going to go wherever
- 47:27Speaker 3: you go. And he said, I got to be honest.
- 47:30Speaker 3: He goes, you know, I'm paraphrasing because I don't remember
- 47:33Speaker 3: exactly how he said it. But he said, you know,
- 47:36Speaker 3: a lot of people accuse me of trying to ruin
- 47:39Speaker 3: your career. And he says, don't they know? I didn't
- 47:44Speaker 3: book that. And I could see the frustration. I put
- 47:50Speaker 3: my hand on his arm. I go, bro, we're good.
- 47:53Speaker 3: I go, we're good, bro. Let me tell you the
- 47:56Speaker 3: good thing, the positive thing that came out of that.
- 47:58Speaker 3: And the positive thing that came out of that, you
- 48:01Speaker 3: can't be afraid to walk away from the table. When
- 48:05Speaker 3: you know you've got something they want, whoever they are,
- 48:11Speaker 3: you got to get, if it doesn't seem right, if
- 48:14Speaker 3: there's any inkling that that's not going to work out
- 48:16Speaker 3: the way you want it to, it's going to take
- 48:18Speaker 3: you away from your vision, get up and walk away
- 48:21Speaker 3: from the table. Because I told Vince McMahon that me and, uh, uh,
- 48:28Speaker 3: the rock, the people's champ versus people champ. I told
- 48:31Speaker 3: him that idea and he come in the way I
- 48:34Speaker 3: did it, man. It was, you guys will appreciate this.
- 48:37Speaker 3: So frigging, I meet rock at a show. Cause I
- 48:42Speaker 3: go to the show in Canada, WWE, they're doing a show.
- 48:46Speaker 3: Then we have a pay-per-view the next day. And, um,
- 48:51Speaker 3: Pat Patterson who saw me on the plane. I say, Pat,
- 48:53Speaker 3: I'd love to come by and say hello to Big Show.
- 48:55Speaker 3: You know, I kind of raised him in this business.
- 48:58Speaker 3: I've worked with him because that's the only thing I
- 49:01Speaker 3: did with me. I was down at the power plant
- 49:02Speaker 3: because they weren't using me. And that's why I kept
- 49:05Speaker 3: getting a little bit better and a little bit better
- 49:06Speaker 3: and a little bit better. Because I was constantly teaching
- 49:10Speaker 3: other guys. And the more you teach, the more you learn.
- 49:13Speaker 3: So I said, me and show you know we're super
- 49:16Speaker 3: tight and he's like yeah sure come on by when
- 49:19Speaker 3: i walk backstage and you know you all know you
- 49:22Speaker 3: don't go to other companies show unless you're looking for
- 49:26Speaker 3: a job right i just signed a multi-million dollar three-year
- 49:30Speaker 3: deal i mean i got paid and i still had
- 49:33Speaker 3: two plus years on it and i I bring in, uh,
- 49:38Speaker 3: when Pat sees me, he's like, Oh, let me get
- 49:39Speaker 3: you right out of the big shows booth. And he,
- 49:41Speaker 3: he did. And he was like the one before the intermission, the,
- 49:45Speaker 3: you know, the main event, cause he was a champ
- 49:47Speaker 3: at the time. And, but we stayed and watch and watch.
- 49:49Speaker 3: I wanted to see what the rock, how he performed
- 49:52Speaker 3: in front of a house show. And then after we're
- 49:56Speaker 3: getting ready to leave and he goes, you want to
- 49:58Speaker 3: meet The Rock? I said, yeah, I'd love to meet him.
- 50:00Speaker 3: So we walk in that, you know, do you remember
- 50:02Speaker 3: how big the dressing rooms are where the Blue Jays play?
- 50:08Speaker 3: They're fucking huge, right? The locker rooms that they have.
- 50:12Speaker 3: And he goes, hey, Rock, you still here? And you
- 50:15Speaker 3: can hear him from the shower going, yeah, I'm taking
- 50:18Speaker 3: a shower. He goes, great. I got some huge Mark
- 50:21Speaker 3: who's dying to meet you. So I don't know why
- 50:26Speaker 3: I said it, but I said, I said, yeah. And
- 50:29Speaker 3: I want to meet you and let you're all soaked
- 50:32Speaker 3: up like the business naked and soaked up like the
- 50:34Speaker 3: Michelin man. He sticks his head out. You know, when you,
- 50:40Speaker 3: you hear somebody's voice, but not here. Like, where do
- 50:43Speaker 3: I know that voice from? And he stuck his head
- 50:46Speaker 3: around the corner and he goes, Oh, diamond. I'll be
- 50:48Speaker 3: right out. Go take your time, man. So he comes out.
- 50:52Speaker 3: He's sitting there. He's got the mullet sideburns at those times.
- 50:55Speaker 3: You know, he's on that rocket. It hasn't really taken
- 50:58Speaker 3: off yet, but it's about to. And so I said,
- 51:03Speaker 3: you know, I said, Jake Roberts told me when, because
- 51:09Speaker 3: he was booking at the time in 96 when rock
- 51:11Speaker 3: came in and he says, Jake, I said, Jake called
- 51:16Speaker 3: me up and he said, where do you see this
- 51:18Speaker 3: kid Rocky my Viet? He goes, he's so good looking.
- 51:21Speaker 3: I don't know if I want to fight him or
- 51:23Speaker 3: fuck him. And he's like, that sounds like something Jake
- 51:33Speaker 3: would say. I said, you know, he said, he said
- 51:36Speaker 3: you were going to be one of the top guys
- 51:38Speaker 3: in the business, man. Way back then. I said, he
- 51:42Speaker 3: said the same thing about to me in 1993. He goes,
- 51:45Speaker 3: it's somewhere down the line. You're going to be one
- 51:48Speaker 3: of the biggest names in the business. He said the
- 51:50Speaker 3: same thing about Austin, you know, back when he was
- 51:52Speaker 3: the ring bearer. And he said, he said, just, you know,
- 51:59Speaker 3: just keep doing, as long as you guys keep doing
- 52:01Speaker 3: what you're doing, that's what's going to happen. And Rock
- 52:03Speaker 3: was like, well, he's always had a great eye for talent.
- 52:06Speaker 3: And so I said, you know, I saw you doing
- 52:11Speaker 3: an interview, but it wasn't on the wrestling show. It was,
- 52:13Speaker 3: I don't know, Entertainment Tonight or whatever the show was.
- 52:17Speaker 3: You were doing some interview and you were being this guy,
- 52:21Speaker 3: which is being himself, right?
- 52:22Speaker 5: I go.
- 52:23Speaker 3: And then you broke into the rock this and the
- 52:26Speaker 3: rock that. And then you went back to this guy.
- 52:28Speaker 3: And then you went back to the rock this and
- 52:29Speaker 3: rock that. I go, that shit was really entertaining. I
- 52:33Speaker 3: can't wait to see what happens with your career. So
- 52:36Speaker 3: we're walking down the hall. And we're just about to
- 52:39Speaker 3: get out the door. And I hear, hey, Diamond. And
- 52:45Speaker 3: I turn and look my head over his shoulder. And
- 52:48Speaker 3: Rock is putting on one of those $ 1, 500 Versace shirts.
- 52:54Speaker 3: And you can see he's rolling in the character. You
- 52:57Speaker 3: can see it's coming. And he says, you know, Diamond,
- 53:01Speaker 3: there's only one people's champion. Big Show's like, oh! And
- 53:08Speaker 3: I just deadpanned him. I was like, you know, Rock,
- 53:12Speaker 3: you're right. And you, oh, you, my friend, you're looking
- 53:16Speaker 3: at him.
- 53:18Speaker 2: Oh!
- 53:19Speaker 3: Watch out the door.
- 53:20Speaker 2: Oh!
- 53:21Speaker 3: So Big Show's like, oh, my God, oh, my God, oh,
- 53:23Speaker 3: my God. You just stopped him. Nobody stops him. So
- 53:26Speaker 3: we went out and got so fucked up that night.
- 53:32Speaker 3: I come to Kimberly. She's asleep, right? She's like, leave
- 53:36Speaker 3: me alone. I go, I don't want to fuck you.
- 53:38Speaker 3: I want to tell you I'm going to show up
- 53:40Speaker 3: at the WWF. And she goes, what? I want to
- 53:44Speaker 3: tell you, I'm going to show up and you're up
- 53:46Speaker 3: in New York. And she's like, what are you talking about?
- 53:49Speaker 3: You just signed a multi-million dollar deal. I go, when
- 53:52Speaker 3: I'm done, I'm ending in a WWF. And she goes, what?
- 53:58Speaker 3: What is it? I go, they're going to black out
- 54:01Speaker 3: the whole building. Everybody's going to think it's Jericho. I go,
- 54:05Speaker 3: but then 15, 30 seconds go by and nothing happens.
- 54:10Speaker 3: And you hear Jim Ross go, we're having a little
- 54:12Speaker 3: bit of technical difficulty. Just bear with us, people. And
- 54:16Speaker 3: then in a blacked out arena, you hear my voice say,
- 54:22Speaker 3: who's the real people's champion? Spotlight. You're looking at them. Bang! Explosions.
- 54:31Speaker 3: I go, Rock, and I actually said this to her,
- 54:34Speaker 3: Rock will be injured. He'll be out. He might be
- 54:38Speaker 3: doing a movie. I don't know, but he won't be there.
- 54:42Speaker 3: At the time, he's filming Scorpion King. Everything I said
- 54:52Speaker 3: was right on task. It was the first time, and
- 54:55Speaker 3: you all know this, when you're trying to make Vince
- 54:58Speaker 3: McMahon feel like you want to be a team player.
- 55:02Speaker 3: You know, you give up yourself and you give up
- 55:04Speaker 3: yourself and you give up yourself. So I let it go.
- 55:08Speaker 3: And I let them set me up on an angle
- 55:11Speaker 3: that was never going to work. And first of all,
- 55:14Speaker 3: the very first thing you have me doing, first of all,
- 55:17Speaker 3: saying I'm famous, I've been on the line seven times.
- 55:20Speaker 3: Make me famous. You know?
- 55:21Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 55:22Speaker 3: I don't know which word famous you can be in that.
- 55:25Speaker 3: In our world. But that's what I... If WCW brought
- 55:30Speaker 3: this idea to me, I'd go, are you fucking crazy?
- 55:33Speaker 3: I'd go, what? I've been on Leno seven times. What
- 55:38Speaker 3: the fuck do I have to be famous about? I've
- 55:40Speaker 3: been on the show. Not just part of this shit.
- 55:44Speaker 3: I go, and then they had me run away when
- 55:46Speaker 3: Tate ran in. And people were in Tampa. They're like,
- 55:50Speaker 3: you don't run. You run into the fire. And that's right. Oh, boy,
- 55:56Speaker 3: this is probably a bad idea. And I decided to
- 55:59Speaker 3: go all in on it and just play the role.
- 56:04Speaker 3: It pissed off so many WCW fans that they stopped
- 56:10Speaker 3: watching wrestling. They just stopped watching. And that's the unique
- 56:15Speaker 3: thing about our business over that period. And yeah, I
- 56:20Speaker 3: don't think anybody could ever catch them again because they
- 56:24Speaker 3: are such the juggernaut, but you never say never.
- 56:27Speaker 7: Right.
- 56:28Speaker 5: It's one of those great wrestling. What ifs like if
- 56:31Speaker 5: egos were set aside and they had all the players
- 56:33Speaker 5: there at the same time, like what the invasion really.
- 56:36Speaker 3: Oh yeah. Could have been.
- 56:38Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 56:38Speaker 3: Could have been.
- 56:39Speaker 2: You've always stayed. You've always stayed so positive about everything.
- 56:42Speaker 2: You're such an inspiration to me and so many other people,
- 56:45Speaker 2: but we've got a couple of minutes left.
- 56:47Speaker 4: Tell everyone about what you do.
- 56:48Speaker 2: I think everyone and their mother knows about DDP.
- 56:50Speaker 5: Why? Because of DDP yoga. I I'm pretty sure I'm
- 56:55Speaker 5: my parents' second favorite wrestler.
- 56:59Speaker 2: So many of our fans, we have a major fitness challenge.
- 57:01Speaker 2: So many of our fans use it, but tell the
- 57:03Speaker 2: people who might not know about it. I think everyone
- 57:05Speaker 2: in the world knows about it by now, but.
- 57:08Speaker 3: You know, I think every single wrestling fan knows. And
- 57:10Speaker 3: they'll be so funny because they'll be like, if I
- 57:15Speaker 3: do a signing, you know, they'll be like, you know
- 57:17Speaker 3: what I mean? You get to that DDP yoga. Well,
- 57:21Speaker 3: now I gave them a card, which you can't get
- 57:24Speaker 3: this on my website. It's seven days free to try it.
- 57:27Speaker 3: But if you get, if you come and you get
- 57:29Speaker 3: a picture with me, you know, autograph, a combo, whatever
- 57:32Speaker 3: it is, I give you the card that gives you
- 57:36Speaker 3: 30 days free. And then I'll challenge them. And a
- 57:40Speaker 3: lot of people come because to my autographs, a lot
- 57:45Speaker 3: of them are for courts or wrestling fans, but a
- 57:47Speaker 3: lot of them aren't. They've just been inspired. And then
- 57:51Speaker 3: they watch these videos one after another and they, The
- 57:56Speaker 3: way I see it, it's like what we've created is
- 58:02Speaker 3: something that could really last forever, long after I'm gone.
- 58:06Speaker 3: And one of the things I've been doing recently, do
- 58:10Speaker 3: you guys know what fascia even is? Do you know
- 58:14Speaker 3: what it is? Muscles. Fascia is, think of a chicken,
- 58:18Speaker 3: and you pull the skin off the chicken because you
- 58:21Speaker 3: want to get rid of the fat, right? You want
- 58:24Speaker 3: to pull the skin off. And there's like a film,
- 58:26Speaker 3: you pick that up, and it's like another, like a
- 58:30Speaker 3: layer of super, super, super thin, and it's called fascia.
- 58:35Speaker 3: And it covers every one of your muscles. It's a
- 58:40Speaker 3: collagen that literally links together And it's really like as
- 58:47Speaker 3: you get older and you beat your body up, and
- 58:50Speaker 3: if you don't hydrate the fascia and its movements that
- 58:55Speaker 3: really get you to hydrate it, that you get stiffer
- 58:59Speaker 3: and stiffer and stiffer. It's not your muscles. It's the
- 59:04Speaker 3: tendons and the ligaments which are wrapped in fascia that start...
- 59:10Speaker 3: to tighten up. So what I'm doing, and I'm going
- 59:13Speaker 3: to start doing, I've been working on this for six
- 59:16Speaker 3: months on how to mix fascia movements into DDP yoga
- 59:24Speaker 3: to give you all in one And the very first
- 59:28Speaker 3: thing you do and how I do it, how I
- 59:31Speaker 3: will start all my workouts with this, anything that's new
- 59:34Speaker 3: that comes out will open with this, what I call
- 59:38Speaker 3: DDPY Unwind. And that's the working title. I'm not positive
- 59:45Speaker 3: we're going to call it that, those workouts. But I
- 59:47Speaker 3: will start out, even though it's I'm doing DDP yoga
- 59:50Speaker 3: through 90% of it, I will start with this because
- 59:53Speaker 3: it's the best thing ever. I've ever seen that makes
- 59:57Speaker 3: a difference completely immediately. And again, everybody wants more mobility.
- 1:00:03Speaker 3: You don't want to bend over and go, Oh fuck.
- 1:00:07Speaker 3: So the bottom line is, is it's, I'm constantly recreating
- 1:00:13Speaker 3: something that worked in its infancy and it healed me.
- 1:00:18Speaker 3: So I don't ever bring anybody anything until it starts
- 1:00:22Speaker 3: to heal me. And again, 70 is, is the number
- 1:00:31Speaker 3: and I'm not training for 75. I'm training for 85, 95, 105.
- 1:00:36Speaker 3: Like that's to me, the magic number to break the hundred.
- 1:00:40Speaker 3: Cause guys don't to where as big as I am.
- 1:00:45Speaker 3: So I, It's all about staying mobile. I got friends
- 1:00:48Speaker 3: of mine who are in their late 80s, but they're miserable.
- 1:00:52Speaker 3: They want to die because they feel they're so beat up.
- 1:00:57Speaker 3: And my dad was like that. He was so beat
- 1:01:00Speaker 3: up and he wanted to die. He really didn't want
- 1:01:03Speaker 3: to kill himself, but he wanted to die. He didn't
- 1:01:05Speaker 3: want to be around anymore. He lived in a chair.
- 1:01:08Speaker 3: The sitting in the chair is the new smoking. Yeah,
- 1:01:11Speaker 3: that's really where it comes from. So go to ddpyoga.com.
- 1:01:15Speaker 3: The power cups that we've got going on, that to me,
- 1:01:18Speaker 3: and you know, Matt, I've taken you through this before.
- 1:01:22Speaker 5: They were crazy.
- 1:01:23Speaker 4: What a pump.
- 1:01:25Speaker 3: And I would never have lifted heavyweight except for once
- 1:01:31Speaker 3: a month to see what my heavyweights were. I would
- 1:01:34Speaker 3: train with power cups the whole time. And then, okay,
- 1:01:39Speaker 3: let me see where my bench is still at. Let
- 1:01:41Speaker 3: me see where my pull downs are at. Where am
- 1:01:43Speaker 3: I still as strong? Well, I know guys who I
- 1:01:47Speaker 3: put on the 90 day challenge and they're stronger at
- 1:01:52Speaker 3: the end. So that's the challenge you would be. And
- 1:01:56Speaker 3: Cardona with your body, ain't you got a great body.
- 1:01:59Speaker 3: You should be using them. All the time.
- 1:02:03Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 1:02:04Speaker 3: And just lift heavy once a month and then see.
- 1:02:08Speaker 3: Why would you want to continue to tear up your joints?
- 1:02:13Speaker 3: Because that's what you're doing when you lift heavy.
- 1:02:15Speaker 2: I just tore my tricep, not from weights, but it's
- 1:02:17Speaker 2: from the wear and tear, from the wrestling. I probably
- 1:02:19Speaker 2: should have been doing that fascia thing.
- 1:02:21Speaker 3: Yeah. Well, that, that, and the power cups. You're coming
- 1:02:26Speaker 3: back from the tricep. Give me 90 days. What do
- 1:02:30Speaker 3: you have to lose? You can't lift heavy with that
- 1:02:33Speaker 3: arm anyway. I know. Yeah, you're right. I'm going to
- 1:02:36Speaker 3: send you the protocol. And if you call me back,
- 1:02:40Speaker 3: I'll lead you through it. And your body, you won't
- 1:02:43Speaker 3: have one arm smaller than the other. That's what happens.
- 1:02:50Speaker 4: I got to come down to the new beach house.
- 1:02:53Speaker 3: Yeah, you're more than welcome to. I'm going to be
- 1:02:55Speaker 3: there in September for a couple of weeks and in October.
- 1:02:59Speaker 2: Last time I came to your crib, we had some
- 1:03:02Speaker 2: great breakfast, great dinners.
- 1:03:04Speaker 5: Yeah, he wasn't going to leave. He wasn't going to
- 1:03:06Speaker 5: live there.
- 1:03:08Speaker 3: But I told you, come down with your wife, man.
- 1:03:13Speaker 3: She can find any time. I know they use her
- 1:03:14Speaker 3: all the time.
- 1:03:16Speaker 4: But.
- 1:03:18Speaker 3: and it's, it's, it's phenomenal just to put her over, man,
- 1:03:21Speaker 3: what she's done with her career, man. And just being
- 1:03:24Speaker 3: that inner, she's just entertaining, you know, and a lot
- 1:03:30Speaker 3: of people aren't, a lot of people are, but she
- 1:03:35Speaker 3: sure is. Uh, so the, um, let's get back together with,
- 1:03:41Speaker 3: I'm going to be doing, uh, my first one with
- 1:03:44Speaker 3: my buddy, Tony, he's going to come down here and
- 1:03:46Speaker 3: do his first, um, What's it called? Whatnot. And anybody
- 1:03:52Speaker 3: who wants this guy. Let's go to Diamond Downs. Oh, yeah. Yes, baby.
- 1:04:00Speaker 3: You see where the middle, right? You got that frigging
- 1:04:03Speaker 3: Hall of Fame.
- 1:04:04Speaker 5: I love it.
- 1:04:04Speaker 2: You got the diamond in there, that Hall of Fame 2017.
- 1:04:08Speaker 3: Beautiful. Yeah, and all these guys are all– this is
- 1:04:11Speaker 3: the diamond studded one. It's like this little glitter fell through,
- 1:04:15Speaker 3: but DDP is all glittered up there. Hold on. All
- 1:04:19Speaker 3: diamonds studded up, man. Let's have a bunch of fun
- 1:04:21Speaker 3: with you guys.
- 1:04:22Speaker 4: I think the most wild interview we've ever done.
- 1:04:25Speaker 3: I would say it's incredible. Entertaining. Yeah.
- 1:04:31Speaker 5: It's incredible. We talked about all your wrestling accomplishments, all
- 1:04:34Speaker 5: this merchandise you have, and you've been enshrined, you know,
- 1:04:36Speaker 5: in pro wrestling history. But I think at the end
- 1:04:38Speaker 5: of the day, you'll be remembered for things behind the
- 1:04:40Speaker 5: scenes and what you've done for the boys and the
- 1:04:42Speaker 5: business and keeping everybody healthy and the longevity is just
- 1:04:45Speaker 5: truly incredible. So thank you for that, man.
- 1:04:48Speaker 3: Thank you, Bob. I appreciate that. But I just got
- 1:04:51Speaker 3: back from Germany and the UK. I mean, the people,
- 1:04:55Speaker 3: they care so much about us that me helping all
- 1:04:59Speaker 3: the guys who really look dark, you know, they really
- 1:05:04Speaker 3: appreciate it, man. Because as much as they love to
- 1:05:07Speaker 3: see us almost killing ourselves, they still, we're superheroes with
- 1:05:13Speaker 3: those people. You know, we really are. You know, because
- 1:05:17Speaker 3: we can do shit that most human beings cannot. So,
- 1:05:21Speaker 3: all right, boys, it was a blast. And it's been
