- 2:01Speaker 2: so good?
- 2:02Speaker 3: Yeah, a little to see.
- 2:03Speaker 2: Yeah, I had a somber morning.
- 2:06Speaker 4: Yeah really why you know, got an older dog and
- 2:09Speaker 4: that older dog is does older dog stuff, does older
- 2:13Speaker 4: dog stuff. So that older dog went to the vet today,
- 2:16Speaker 4: and uh, I think there's like a we might be
- 2:20Speaker 4: scheduling something sooner than like.
- 2:22Speaker 2: Oh, that's my bad. It's three oh two. I mean,
- 2:29Speaker 2: jack you also have something you need to kill. Look, no,
- 2:32Speaker 2: I'm good today, But deb are you? Do you have
- 2:34Speaker 2: an aunt or something that's in trouble? Yeah, not sir,
- 2:37Speaker 2: that we can announce right now. Do you deserve that?
- 2:41Speaker 2: Is this deserved what you're doing?
- 2:43Speaker 4: I mean, if you asked me how I'm doing and
- 2:46Speaker 4: I go, I'll give, I won't go.
- 2:49Speaker 2: Yeah, I'll say it was a somber probably with that,
- 2:52Speaker 2: it's just fine.
- 2:53Speaker 3: We've all been there better.
- 2:55Speaker 2: Everybody's having a good day today. Jackson, you're the quiet one.
- 2:57Speaker 2: Have you had a good day today? Yeah, I'm just
- 2:59Speaker 2: feeling bad now, I'm sad. Yeah, yeah, that's right. You
- 3:02Speaker 2: don't feel anything. You walking in. You guys want to
- 3:05Speaker 2: put the best of in and have a prayer meeting.
- 3:06Speaker 2: We need to pay off. Yeah, I'm good. I don't
- 3:09Speaker 2: want that to happen, all right, guys.
- 3:11Speaker 4: Zelda loves this radio station. She doesn't want to stop.
- 3:14Speaker 2: We got a lot of stuff to talk about today.
- 3:16Speaker 2: But something happened at lunch today. I don't want to
- 3:18Speaker 2: ask you, guys a question I should have made you.
- 3:20Speaker 2: Did you already put the question of day up? Jack?
- 3:21Speaker 2: I did not, all right, I sent you one today.
- 3:23Speaker 2: He did, But don't put that up. Okay, put this
- 3:25Speaker 2: one up, and I'm glad you didn't. Went to lunch
- 3:29Speaker 2: today with my daughter right right, and we went to
- 3:31Speaker 2: my you know, my favorite one. You know you got
- 3:34Speaker 2: no peaches. R Jason's wind up to Jon Jason Delian
- 3:42Speaker 2: out to month walk in waiting with my daughter. She's
- 3:45Speaker 2: a little bit behind schedule. So I just got to
- 3:46Speaker 2: park at one of those tables, hop on social and
- 3:48Speaker 2: just kind of peeling around. I look over to the
- 3:50Speaker 2: right and there's a couple sitting at a table having
- 3:53Speaker 2: lunch together, and it was really sweet. They were a
- 3:55Speaker 2: little bit older, right, probably in their early sixties, sitting
- 3:58Speaker 2: there having lunch together, and there was something very a
- 4:00Speaker 2: to me, uh with them having lunch. And I want
- 4:04Speaker 2: to find out how you guys feel about it, because
- 4:06Speaker 2: it's kind of it was kind of weird to me.
- 4:10Speaker 2: Ross when you go to dinner or lunch with your
- 4:12Speaker 2: beautiful wife, Olivia. Yeah, and it's just the two of you, yep,
- 4:16Speaker 2: and you get seated at a table. Huh, how do
- 4:18Speaker 2: you sit uh at each other? You get you guys
- 4:23Speaker 2: sit facing each other?
- 4:24Speaker 5: Yeah?
- 4:25Speaker 2: Yeah, you Jack, Yes, facing each other, facing each other, Deborah, is.
- 4:29Speaker 6: This a first world problem of seeing a couple sitting
- 4:32Speaker 6: next to each other and it's just blew their mind?
- 4:35Speaker 3: And now you can't deal with it? And for the
- 4:37Speaker 3: next ten minutes.
- 4:38Speaker 6: We're going to have to hear a dissertation about how unnatural.
- 4:44Speaker 2: Answer the question, Dad, how do you sit?
- 4:48Speaker 3: We have done both.
- 4:49Speaker 6: We have sat right next to each other depending on
- 4:51Speaker 6: what we're looking at. We've sat across from each other
- 4:53Speaker 6: and enjoyed the meal the same way.
- 4:56Speaker 2: If thee sucks, I will jump side exactly.
- 5:00Speaker 3: It's a chair or something.
- 5:02Speaker 2: I don't know why this hit be so sideways. I
- 5:04Speaker 2: looked over and I'm like, oh, it's sad. Whoever, so
- 5:06Speaker 2: they got stood up like you? Because my thing is,
- 5:09Speaker 2: oh wow, the only time you sit beside somebody at
- 5:13Speaker 2: a table for four with its when it's your partner,
- 5:17Speaker 2: is you only sit beside them when you're expecting other
- 5:19Speaker 2: people to come. Because I don't understand why you would
- 5:22Speaker 2: do that. Why would you sit beside somebody when it's
- 5:25Speaker 2: so easy to sit across from them and have a
- 5:27Speaker 2: much easier time having a conversation. But they that's how
- 5:31Speaker 2: they sat. You can kind of get the idea because
- 5:33Speaker 2: of their mannerisms. That's how they sit and eat right
- 5:36Speaker 2: beside each other rather than across from each other. And
- 5:39Speaker 2: this is the question of the day. Yeah, I mean
- 5:41Speaker 2: I think predominantly people sit across from each other, right,
- 5:44Speaker 2: Oh yeah, oh yeah, I mean I'm not mad about it.
- 5:48Speaker 4: I just look predominantly. But you gotta understand, Jim, a
- 5:52Speaker 4: lot of people got neck mobility.
- 5:54Speaker 2: What do you mean by that? Some people can look Oh,
- 5:57Speaker 2: I mean you're saying I can't look to my left.
- 5:58Speaker 2: I think you're a little stiff. No, dude, come on,
- 6:01Speaker 2: a little shoulder. It's a little batman Michael Keaton next.
- 6:05Speaker 2: If I was plastic man, it would still be weird, right,
- 6:08Speaker 2: I mean, you have no problems, don't you. If you
- 6:10Speaker 2: saw a couple sitting in a restaurant at a table
- 6:13Speaker 2: for four, and they were sitting next to each other
- 6:15Speaker 2: rather than across from each other, would you automatically assume
- 6:18Speaker 2: they're waiting on another couple? Would that? Wouldn't it be
- 6:21Speaker 2: kind of odd?
- 6:21Speaker 4: I would count the water cups. Yeah, no, buddy, you
- 6:24Speaker 4: know I would also grab some more clues, But yeah,
- 6:26Speaker 4: I would think.
- 6:27Speaker 2: So it's a little odd, though, isn't it to me?
- 6:29Speaker 4: I like that with view in part of the context
- 6:33Speaker 4: of this situation, agreed one hundred percent.
- 6:36Speaker 2: But there was no view. It was a Jason's deli,
- 6:38Speaker 2: And to be honest with you, they were sitting in it.
- 6:40Speaker 2: What maybe they wanted to see the ice tream machine.
- 6:43Speaker 2: They were facing the door. That was always even weird
- 6:46Speaker 2: about it, literally facing the door. That's FBI training right there.
- 6:51Speaker 2: I don't know. I just when I was watching it today,
- 6:52Speaker 2: I was like, man, that's bizarre. I've never done that.
- 6:54Speaker 2: Maybe my wife and I've never done that. Maybe that's it.
- 6:56Speaker 7: Maybe the wife sat down and then the husband former
- 7:00Speaker 7: l e O you know, said I'm gonna sit down
- 7:03Speaker 7: and keep an eye on the door.
- 7:04Speaker 6: Well, speaking of that, as men form, as men do,
- 7:08Speaker 6: you guys prefer to take the seat where you are
- 7:10Speaker 6: facing the door with your wife with her back to
- 7:12Speaker 6: the door. So you definitely don't like to be the
- 7:15Speaker 6: one where your back is to the door and she's
- 7:17Speaker 6: facing it.
- 7:17Speaker 2: Yeah, I want to see any threat that is approaching. Yeah,
- 7:21Speaker 2: that way I can run and leave her there to
- 7:22Speaker 2: slumm down. It was actually a Will Ferrell movie.
- 7:26Speaker 3: She mentioned that last.
- 7:27Speaker 2: Night we did the very thing. We went out and
- 7:29Speaker 2: ate and when we sat down in the in the booth,
- 7:33Speaker 2: I faced the door. And it's almost always the case.
- 7:35Speaker 2: I've actually made my wife changed seat so I could
- 7:37Speaker 2: do that. Yeah, so I feel you I do the
- 7:38Speaker 2: same thing. Ros you do that as well all the time, Dude,
- 7:41Speaker 2: I stay strapped waiting for any intruder to bust through
- 7:44Speaker 2: that all of God, all you need is your son
- 7:49Speaker 2: because you're you're you sent a picture of your son
- 7:52Speaker 2: punching the balloon that dev got you for your birthday,
- 7:54Speaker 2: and my man has got it. Dude. Yeah, I got
- 7:57Speaker 2: a nice right here.
- 7:58Speaker 6: Hey, you heard dad talking about having another baby. He's
- 8:00Speaker 6: getting ready for that sibling action.
- 8:02Speaker 2: Boy.
- 8:03Speaker 3: Yeah, my brother's got some pointers for him.
- 8:05Speaker 4: But going back to that couple, Jim, there's one judgmental
- 8:08Speaker 4: little chord in my piano soul that's getting strung right now,
- 8:12Speaker 4: all right, all right, lot, Yeah it was.
- 8:15Speaker 2: We got there though.
- 8:16Speaker 4: Is that it is that it's like a little love bomby.
- 8:21Speaker 2: It's a little love bomby. I don't understand that in
- 8:25Speaker 2: the early stages of their relationship, ing ding ding ding
- 8:28Speaker 2: ding ding ding.
- 8:30Speaker 6: You were jealous that they were in the early stages
- 8:32Speaker 6: of their relationship, whereas in the bitter later years.
- 8:38Speaker 2: As you are automatic attack. That's great. Oh so this
- 8:41Speaker 2: is your problem. This is your problem.
- 8:45Speaker 4: I think the thing that rubbed you the wrong way
- 8:47Speaker 4: is that efficiently speaking wise, it's not the most efficient way.
- 8:53Speaker 2: It isn't.
- 8:54Speaker 4: And but if they are saying that our love outweighs efficiency,
- 8:58Speaker 4: because that's kind of what that has, it goes a little.
- 9:02Speaker 2: It's a little love bombing.
- 9:03Speaker 5: Dude.
- 9:04Speaker 2: If I walked up to a table and we were
- 9:06Speaker 2: about to get seated, and I told my wife to
- 9:08Speaker 2: sit beside me like that, she would ask me, what's wrong.
- 9:12Speaker 2: She would literally look at me. Way, you don't want
- 9:13Speaker 2: to talk to me, you don't want to look at me.
- 9:15Speaker 4: That's exactly what would happen because she knows about the
- 9:18Speaker 4: whole next stiffness Yeah.
- 9:21Speaker 5: The next stiffness thing. But yeah, for sure.
- 9:23Speaker 2: All right, that's our question to today. You go to
- 9:24Speaker 2: real Radio Dota him excuse me, Jim Cooper live dot
- 9:26Speaker 2: com or real Radio dot of fim slash watch hop
- 9:29Speaker 2: into the well, what are you doing about? It's not unanimous?
- 9:33Speaker 2: Hop into the uh the feather you can see it.
- 9:36Speaker 2: Jack has a question of the Day up will read
- 9:38Speaker 2: the results of that at the end of the program today.
- 9:40Speaker 4: Is there anything better though, on a double date when
- 9:43Speaker 4: you have your partner to either side and then you
- 9:47Speaker 4: and Yeah, I'll bring up gender because it is a
- 9:49Speaker 4: gender kind of base thing that This is one of
- 9:51Speaker 4: my favorite experiences at let's say, in Olive garden, right
- 9:56Speaker 4: when you match like the gender across from you.
- 10:00Speaker 2: I'm looking if it was me and you, I would
- 10:01Speaker 2: be looking at you, and my wife will be looking
- 10:03Speaker 2: at Olivia. It's the best. I love that. I do
- 10:07Speaker 2: really enjoy that. So if you try to have like
- 10:10Speaker 2: if I try to ask Olivia a question, I have
- 10:12Speaker 2: to cross talk. If you're asking question, lords have to
- 10:15Speaker 2: go past his eyeball.
- 10:16Speaker 4: That was gonna happen regardless no matter where you're going
- 10:19Speaker 4: to sit. But I just think that, like I agree though,
- 10:22Speaker 4: on a double date that is the preferred setup.
- 10:24Speaker 3: Oh yeah, makes it easier for conversation.
- 10:26Speaker 2: And I should not be sitting across from your spouse.
- 10:29Speaker 4: And it just becomes just because wind of conversation of
- 10:32Speaker 4: like people are shooting premises left and right.
- 10:35Speaker 2: It's awesome, is it so?
- 10:37Speaker 7: Because you're afraid the Shenanigan is happening under the table
- 10:40Speaker 7: that you don't want the man sitting across from your wife.
- 10:43Speaker 4: If the last thing I'm thinking Jack is like a
- 10:45Speaker 4: popcorn bucket is underneath the tables?
- 10:51Speaker 2: Who's playing footsy?
- 10:54Speaker 6: If you invite Jack to dinner, just just remember someone's
- 10:57Speaker 6: gonna be playing footsie.
- 10:58Speaker 2: Yeah, because if you go on a double date and
- 11:00Speaker 2: you don't and you don't do that, that means I
- 11:03Speaker 2: would be sitting next to your wife. Right, if we
- 11:06Speaker 2: don't do that, that means I would be sitting next
- 11:08Speaker 2: to your wife. And that let's say it's just like
- 11:09Speaker 2: an age related like Jack and myself, Jack and Naomi
- 11:12Speaker 2: Bretschall dot Com and my wife go out and we're
- 11:14Speaker 2: doing that sitting. There are people that could assume that
- 11:17Speaker 2: Jack is with my wife and I am with Jack's wife.
- 11:20Speaker 3: Don't don't give him hope.
- 11:22Speaker 2: Yeah, people might think that. Yeah, That's what I'm saying
- 11:24Speaker 2: is that that's what makes it kind of weird. So
- 11:26Speaker 2: you have to sit a couple, couple, couple of couple.
- 11:29Speaker 4: But I mean, there's no else. There's all this silence
- 11:33Speaker 4: because that was such a weird.
- 11:34Speaker 6: Hype of so weird about it the old way.
- 11:41Speaker 2: I'll do it the old way. God, almighty, guys. I
- 11:44Speaker 2: can't do anything around here without you guys complaining w
- 11:47Speaker 2: and our data. We did this yesterday that if you
- 12:00Speaker 2: and me and then and you and Chris went out
- 12:03Speaker 2: with Tory and we did it that way, there was
- 12:05Speaker 2: a possibility that they could think that we were together
- 12:07Speaker 2: as Entry and Chris were together.
- 12:09Speaker 3: Oh God, both of our spouses would lay waste.
- 12:12Speaker 6: To whoever was thinking that. So where are we going
- 12:15Speaker 6: on our days?
- 12:16Speaker 5: Stop?
- 12:18Speaker 3: Obviously, Daddy Warbucks, what are you talking about?
- 12:23Speaker 4: All I know is I'm looking at the XT.
- 12:28Speaker 2: That inture three o'clock you were go to real radio
- 12:31Speaker 2: and send that way for your chance that a thousand dollars.
- 12:35Speaker 2: What do you have for news there, psycho?
- 12:36Speaker 6: Yeah, well, Bertha moves away, hot weather moves in a
- 12:40Speaker 6: Lucia County man is sentenced in his hot and his
- 12:44Speaker 6: toddler's hot car death. Prison was made for someone like
- 12:47Speaker 6: this and a new honor for Jimothy. Oh yeah, I
- 12:51Speaker 6: like this the viral raccoon.
- 12:52Speaker 2: Oh not me. You kind of look like, could you
- 12:57Speaker 2: know what I'm gonna tell you? I feel I could
- 12:58Speaker 2: be I could be a viral raccoon.
- 13:00Speaker 4: Well, Jimithy has that nextify exactly, It's next Stiffness.
- 13:06Speaker 6: We'll talk about that and more coming up next turning
- 13:08Speaker 6: JCS news.
- 13:09Speaker 2: Is that a little break back in a second with
- 13:10Speaker 2: Damn's News, and we'll get more of the Jim Colbert
- 13:12Speaker 2: to stay right there or.
- 13:13Speaker 8: In a restaurant, however, I do care about facing TV's
- 13:17Speaker 8: and that's what I want. I want to face the
- 13:19Speaker 8: TV irritates my wife.
- 13:23Speaker 9: I wonder why I sit next to my wife in
- 13:27Speaker 9: a restaurant to help keep her warm, because they are
- 13:31Speaker 9: always cold, and we can whisper and laugh about the
- 13:35Speaker 9: other customers around us.
- 13:39Speaker 7: Like me Billy Joel lookalike staring at him.
- 13:52Speaker 2: Any believe that I used to be married to Christy Brinkley?
- 13:54Speaker 2: Can you believe that? All right, Welcome back to the
- 13:57Speaker 2: Jim Colbert Show or a radio one or four point one.
- 13:59Speaker 2: Preset is your three o'clock The word that's pr e
- 14:02Speaker 2: s eight. Slide over to real radio dot him and
- 14:05Speaker 2: send that away for your chance at one thousand dollars
- 14:07Speaker 2: presets the word guys, go get that money, you get it.
- 14:09Speaker 2: I'm Jim Jack and Rosser here with us today as well,
- 14:12Speaker 2: and dev has your news.
- 14:14Speaker 1: It's time for JCS news. Wow, this guy got to
- 14:19Speaker 1: put his name on everything. It's in my contracted here's
- 14:22Speaker 1: the news on the Jim Colber Show.
- 14:24Speaker 6: And JCS news is brought to you by that mortgage
- 14:27Speaker 6: guy Don all Right, as Tropical Storm Bertha pulls away,
- 14:31Speaker 6: howter weather is settling into central Florida. Hope that's not
- 14:35Speaker 6: breaking news. Dryer air is going to keep our rain
- 14:38Speaker 6: chances low. Today tomorrow, heights climbing in the mid to
- 14:42Speaker 6: upper nineties, heat and deceas of topping over one hundred degrees.
- 14:45Speaker 6: That's according to the National Weather Service, moisture will begin
- 14:48Speaker 6: returning Friday, mainly over the weekend, bringing scattered afternoon showers
- 14:52Speaker 6: and thunderstorms back for the weekend. Forecasters say tempts will
- 14:56Speaker 6: stay well above normal. Bertha is moving inland near the
- 15:00Speaker 6: Texas Louisiana border. It's the second landfall. They're expecting it
- 15:04Speaker 6: to dissipate later on tonight. Right now, it's ninety six
- 15:07Speaker 6: with a breezy feels like of one hundred and six. Oh,
- 15:11Speaker 6: good times, good times. Rick Scott is calling for a
- 15:15Speaker 6: big change at the Coast Guard. I found this interesting.
- 15:18Speaker 6: Senator Scott and others introduced the Coast Guard Leadership Modernization
- 15:22Speaker 6: Act yesterday. The bill would create a Secretary of the
- 15:25Speaker 6: US Coast Guard. Really, currently, the Coast Guard is the
- 15:28Speaker 6: only branch of the armed forces that doesn't have a
- 15:31Speaker 6: dedicated civilian leader.
- 15:32Speaker 2: Did not know that.
- 15:33Speaker 3: I did not know that either.
- 15:35Speaker 6: Scott adds this is a matter of writiness and national security,
- 15:38Speaker 6: and Congress should pass the bill immediately.
- 15:41Speaker 3: I was one of those people who was like, oh,
- 15:42Speaker 3: Coast Guard are cute.
- 15:43Speaker 6: Yeah, and then you see them rescue like people in
- 15:45Speaker 6: the Northern Sea or offload drugs and you're like, oh, yeah, no,
- 15:48Speaker 6: they're badasses.
- 15:50Speaker 3: The total badasses.
- 15:52Speaker 6: All right, there's one less group and the running to
- 15:53Speaker 6: receive tourism tax funding in Orange County. The Tourism the
- 15:57Speaker 6: Tourist Development Tax Citizen Advisor task Force met Tuesday to
- 16:02Speaker 6: discuss twenty four applications for a share of the TDT money.
- 16:06Speaker 6: The only application that was rejected came from the Arching
- 16:09Speaker 6: Oaks Japanese Art and Cultural Center in Lake County. The
- 16:12Speaker 6: task force ruled they're not eligible because they're not in
- 16:16Speaker 6: Orange County. Right, So, of the other twenty three applicants,
- 16:19Speaker 6: the Orlando Dreamers are asking for the most. Jimmy, I
- 16:22Speaker 6: know you already know this number. But Jack and Ross,
- 16:25Speaker 6: how much money do you think the Orlando Dreamers are
- 16:28Speaker 6: asking out of Tourist Development Tax money?
- 16:30Speaker 2: Five hundred million dollars? WHOA, okay, hold on, bud Well,
- 16:35Speaker 2: they're gonna want to build a stadium.
- 16:37Speaker 8: You know.
- 16:37Speaker 4: I fully regret that response, like I have some experience
- 16:40Speaker 4: in answering any question similar to this one, but I
- 16:44Speaker 4: will go thirty five mil.
- 16:45Speaker 8: No.
- 16:46Speaker 3: Isn't he cute?
- 16:47Speaker 6: You me saying, oh yeah, you go ahead.
- 16:50Speaker 2: Nine hundred and seventy five million dollars. I think I
- 16:53Speaker 2: was closer, bro we got to do the mask. Yeah, yeah,
- 16:55Speaker 2: that's great. Still centers more than that.
- 16:57Speaker 6: Yeah, for a stadium, the dreamers for AAUM to attract
- 17:00Speaker 6: a Major League Baseball team. Each applicant will get to
- 17:03Speaker 6: make their case before the board starting next week. Speaking
- 17:06Speaker 6: of developments and tourists, there could be a new attraction
- 17:10Speaker 6: coming to Islands of Adventure. Universal Orlando Resort file to
- 17:13Speaker 6: permit Monday for a new attraction there. Universal officials haven't
- 17:17Speaker 6: confirmed anything, but that's not stopping theme park fans from speculating.
- 17:21Speaker 6: You may recognize this name. Attractionsmagazine dot COM's Danny Myeringyus
- 17:31Speaker 6: thinks it could.
- 17:31Speaker 3: Have something to do with Pokemon.
- 17:35Speaker 6: Everything you need to know, infos there in White Things,
- 17:38Speaker 6: Legends of Zelda.
- 17:40Speaker 2: Is it possible if we only knew somebody that had
- 17:44Speaker 2: an inside track to what Universal Studios is doing?
- 17:47Speaker 7: They tore down Poseidon's Adventure, and I hear the last
- 17:50Speaker 7: cast that they had in that really just they've ruined
- 17:52Speaker 7: it for him.
- 17:53Speaker 4: So they're like, this has to go. Yea, let me
- 17:56Speaker 4: just be on a burger. I don't know anything at
- 17:59Speaker 4: all about Universal, okay, other than I am rooting for
- 18:04Speaker 4: everything you just said.
- 18:05Speaker 3: To happen, I would hope because after that sound.
- 18:08Speaker 7: The Pokemon or the Zelda or bowl just clean up
- 18:10Speaker 7: aisle me baby both.
- 18:12Speaker 3: Both All right?
- 18:14Speaker 6: Well, White Tails, Fox thirty five, whatever it is will
- 18:16Speaker 6: be pretty fantastical.
- 18:18Speaker 5: Yeah, I am.
- 18:19Speaker 7: I've heard a dining restaurant is really being constructed, but
- 18:23Speaker 7: that's what my sources say.
- 18:25Speaker 2: Dude, imagine if it was like a buffet and Pokemon
- 18:28Speaker 2: land and then you had to eat like one hundred
- 18:29Speaker 2: and fifty one different things.
- 18:31Speaker 6: Yeah, well, this would be something interesting to maybe talk
- 18:35Speaker 6: to Attorney Glenn Klausman about later on during Colbert Court.
- 18:38Speaker 6: But Ashley Moody is behind a bill aimed at what
- 18:41Speaker 6: she calls crazed and dangerous fraudsters. Senator Moody introduced the
- 18:46Speaker 6: Staged Accident Fraud Protection Act yesterday.
- 18:49Speaker 3: Why did they have to come up with these?
- 18:51Speaker 7: Does it spell something that it's usually they get to
- 18:53Speaker 7: make an acronym.
- 18:54Speaker 6: Yeah, so it's Staged Accident Fraud Protection Act Protected SAA,
- 19:01Speaker 6: STAFFA STAFA.
- 19:03Speaker 2: She says. That's how Kennedy, that's that's how Kennedy says, Staffer,
- 19:09Speaker 2: You're right, ALCOA SAFA get to the SAFA.
- 19:12Speaker 6: She says, it would make intentionally staging an accident with
- 19:16Speaker 6: a commercial vehicle a federal crime. Now, Moody says some
- 19:20Speaker 6: scammers are targeting truckers by staging accidents to collect the
- 19:24Speaker 6: insurance money. She says, anyone who would do such a
- 19:27Speaker 6: thing in dangers lives and livelihoods. Moody adds it also
- 19:30Speaker 6: runs up insurance insurance premiums for everyone, and this bill
- 19:34Speaker 6: ensures they will be prosecuted.
- 19:36Speaker 7: Boom staging an accident with the commercial Why wouldn't it
- 19:40Speaker 7: be staging an accident with any I.
- 19:44Speaker 6: Would I'd like to think that that's already on the books.
- 19:47Speaker 6: There must be some special reason why scammers go after
- 19:49Speaker 6: the commercial vehicles. Get more money, more money, more money
- 19:52Speaker 6: from exactly all right, this next story, I just want
- 19:58Speaker 6: five minutes and six inches of a rubber hose and
- 20:00Speaker 6: ormand beach. Father has been sentenced to forty two years
- 20:04Speaker 6: in prison for his eighteen month old son's hot car
- 20:08Speaker 6: death last year. This was no case of someone who
- 20:11Speaker 6: just forgot because they switched with the wife and now
- 20:14Speaker 6: he's taking the child in right. No, this The Militia
- 20:17Speaker 6: County sheriff says Scott Gardner got a haircut and then
- 20:22Speaker 6: spent three hours drinking at Hanky Panky's Lounge in Ormond
- 20:25Speaker 6: Beach before returning to his truck. He didn't call nine
- 20:29Speaker 6: one one then, No, he drove to his mother's house,
- 20:31Speaker 6: and that's when they called nine one one.
- 20:34Speaker 2: I remember this story.
- 20:35Speaker 6: After the boy was pronounced past, the sheriff says, the
- 20:38Speaker 6: thirty three year old returned to the bar with his mother,
- 20:42Speaker 6: where they continued drinking until midnight.
- 20:45Speaker 2: Where was the baby already that they'd already died, but
- 20:49Speaker 2: the baby was left at home.
- 20:50Speaker 6: No, but they didn't file charges yet because they had to,
- 20:54Speaker 6: you know, before they could file charges and arrest this guy.
- 20:57Speaker 3: They had taken the child.
- 20:59Speaker 6: But and he goes back to the bar with his mom,
- 21:02Speaker 6: where they continue to drink until midnight.
- 21:05Speaker 2: Oh my god.
- 21:06Speaker 6: Originally charged with first degree murder, Gardner pleaded no contest
- 21:10Speaker 6: to second degree murder. It was so bad that today
- 21:14Speaker 6: during his sentencing, you could hear the judge practically breaking
- 21:18Speaker 6: down in tears, and she told him, I hope, I
- 21:19Speaker 6: hope your prison cell is hot.
- 21:21Speaker 10: Wow.
- 21:22Speaker 6: The truck wasn't on, The windows were rolled down just
- 21:24Speaker 6: a little bit, and he had a little battery operated.
- 21:26Speaker 3: Fan that was barely reaching the child in the back.
- 21:29Speaker 11: Geez Louise.
- 21:30Speaker 6: And today's sentencing comes just two days after a seventeen
- 21:34Speaker 6: month old girl was found dead in a hot car
- 21:36Speaker 6: in Lee County. That's at least the fifth child hot
- 21:39Speaker 6: car fatality reported in Florida this year, the most of
- 21:42Speaker 6: any state. The Sheriff's office and the state Attorney's office
- 21:45Speaker 6: are investigating that tragedy. Dozens of people are facing drug
- 21:49Speaker 6: charges after a multi agency takedown in Palm Ghost, a
- 21:52Speaker 6: Palm Coast that's in the Daytona Beach area. Attorney General
- 21:55Speaker 6: James uf Meyer says Operation Icebreaker too has netted great
- 21:59Speaker 6: result eults.
- 22:00Speaker 2: They were caught trafficking and conspiring to traffic large amounts
- 22:04Speaker 2: of fentanyl, meth, and cocaine into our communities.
- 22:07Speaker 6: So over the past year and a half, fentanyl cases
- 22:10Speaker 6: are down in Florida over seventy percent. Deaths are down
- 22:13Speaker 6: over fifty percent.
- 22:15Speaker 3: He says.
- 22:15Speaker 6: Statewide prosecutions are up five hundred percent since the initiative
- 22:20Speaker 6: began two years ago. But you know, it's kind of
- 22:22Speaker 6: like whack a mole, right, You take one down and
- 22:24Speaker 6: another one pops up. Like a doctor who owns two
- 22:27Speaker 6: Pharmacies in Broward County guilty of dispensing deadly opioids. The
- 22:31Speaker 6: Justice Department announced yesterday Olushola Usef was convicted of a
- 22:36Speaker 6: massive oxycodone distribution conspiracy. She dispensed over three hundred thousand
- 22:42Speaker 6: maximum strength oxycodone pills to nearly all her customers, charged
- 22:47Speaker 6: them ten times the typical amount, and required payment in cash.
- 22:52Speaker 6: Not only that, witnesses testified that Usef kept her pharmacies
- 22:56Speaker 6: locked during business hours and only allowed certain customers inside.
- 23:00Speaker 6: Wow Yusef owned and operated a Stride Right in Margate
- 23:05Speaker 6: and Tchans Pharmacy Plus in Pembroke Pines. She'll be sentenced
- 23:08Speaker 6: in three months. She faces a maximum of this many
- 23:11Speaker 6: years in prison when she's sentenced in October. How many
- 23:14Speaker 6: do you think she's going to get? How many years
- 23:16Speaker 6: is she eligible for?
- 23:17Speaker 2: Thirty eighty fifty.
- 23:21Speaker 6: One hundred and twenty damn, one hundred and twenty years
- 23:24Speaker 6: in prison. That's a lot of prison, exactly. I think
- 23:29Speaker 6: they call that that's life. That's a life. Yeah, that's
- 23:32Speaker 6: a life sentence right there, all right. Alcohol could explain
- 23:37Speaker 6: what led a Saint John's County man to threaten a
- 23:40Speaker 6: family in Volusia County.
- 23:42Speaker 2: No, it can do that and so much more. Not
- 23:47Speaker 2: for me. I just thank employees for work.
- 23:52Speaker 3: Well.
- 23:53Speaker 6: New Smyrna Beach police arrested sixty three year old Kevin
- 23:56Speaker 6: Moss on Monday night. It was after he tried to
- 23:58Speaker 6: force his way into a family's home late at night,
- 24:01Speaker 6: pounding on the doors and windows whilst threatening to kill
- 24:04Speaker 6: them all. The homeowner called nine to one one and said,
- 24:07Speaker 6: I don't know this guy. We've we have We've never
- 24:10Speaker 6: met this guy. Officers arrested Kevin Moss nearby. He since
- 24:14Speaker 6: bonded out of jail. Moss has charged with attempted burglary
- 24:17Speaker 6: of an occupied dwelling.
- 24:19Speaker 4: I'm alive because dad had a really good act out
- 24:23Speaker 4: of that family.
- 24:24Speaker 3: Whoa, whoa?
- 24:26Speaker 2: Yeah? Do you wait? Let's start off with what's your name?
- 24:32Speaker 2: Where are you from? What do you do?
- 24:34Speaker 9: Oh?
- 24:34Speaker 3: Oh, here we go? All right.
- 24:36Speaker 6: You can find out more today about a road project
- 24:38Speaker 6: planned for Orange County. F DOT is holding a public
- 24:41Speaker 6: meeting to discuss a planned to widen State Road fifty
- 24:43Speaker 6: near Biflow from four lanes to six between Avalon Park
- 24:48Speaker 6: Boulevard and Shuliota Road. Really interesting, isn't it Yeah, why
- 24:53Speaker 6: do you think that is must be a whole lot
- 24:55Speaker 6: of influx of people moving in to buy up that property.
- 24:57Speaker 6: I mean, I would imagine that'd be like one of
- 24:59Speaker 6: the last spots in our that you could get anything.
- 25:01Speaker 2: Yeah, it's wild out there, though. It is because the
- 25:03Speaker 2: way Avalon's kind of out there in the middle of nowhere.
- 25:06Speaker 2: And I think it's almost like when they started building
- 25:07Speaker 2: out where we are, they were just like, hey, build
- 25:09Speaker 2: it and they will come, and they're kind of right.
- 25:11Speaker 2: So chances are they're basically gearing up for a giant
- 25:14Speaker 2: influx of people moving in development.
- 25:16Speaker 6: And probably yeah, because again that's probably one of the
- 25:19Speaker 6: few places where you could maybe buy land or house
- 25:22Speaker 6: and it be affordable, even though you're your commute is
- 25:25Speaker 6: going to be forty five minutes to an hour.
- 25:27Speaker 2: We've actually said for years, East Orlando is like the
- 25:29Speaker 2: only property left. I mean, because when you go north,
- 25:32Speaker 2: you're talk about Lake Mary, Longwood, he throw all the
- 25:34Speaker 2: way up into Sandford. When you out where we are,
- 25:36Speaker 2: that's already over developed. Going south, going toward like Davenport
- 25:40Speaker 2: and that area, that property is already super expensive. So
- 25:43Speaker 2: that area out there was just used to be littered
- 25:45Speaker 2: with junk yards. Yeah, just Palm Palm, Frond, Wastelands and
- 25:49Speaker 2: Orlando speed work right.
- 25:50Speaker 6: Yeah, so as soon as I read oh Avalon Park
- 25:53Speaker 6: and Chuliota Road from four to six. Yep, if you
- 25:56Speaker 6: build it, they will come. Like you said, the goal
- 25:58Speaker 6: is to ease congestion and the eastern part of the
- 26:00Speaker 6: county and if all goes well, construction could start next year.
- 26:04Speaker 6: The public meeting is going to run from five point
- 26:06Speaker 6: thirty to seven tonight in Orlando at Boardwalk Bowls Bridge
- 26:09Speaker 6: Events Center on East Colonial Drive. You can learn more
- 26:12Speaker 6: at CFL Rhoads dot com. Again that CFL roads dot com.
- 26:18Speaker 4: Jim, I've done a lot of comedy shows over at
- 26:20Speaker 4: that Boardwalk Bowl. Yeah, and people don't know what it's
- 26:22Speaker 4: like getting heckled by a split not a fun time.
- 26:28Speaker 4: I've had good sets. I've had a couple of stinkers
- 26:30Speaker 4: over there. Yeah, that's funny.
- 26:32Speaker 6: Well, we do have a school starting up, like literally
- 26:35Speaker 6: in just a couple of weeks, isn't it.
- 26:37Speaker 2: I heard Ross had a good say, but Bobby rolled
- 26:39Speaker 2: at two forty one. We didn't know what to do.
- 26:44Speaker 3: I didn't know where to laugh for all.
- 26:46Speaker 6: Right, Well, school is getting ready to start in Central
- 26:49Speaker 6: Florida in the next couple of weeks. And you have
- 26:50Speaker 6: a way to help teachers in Central Florida who can
- 26:53Speaker 6: benefit from the Amazon wish List give back program. Beachside
- 26:58Speaker 6: Hospitality Group is distributing twelve one thousand dollars among forty
- 27:01Speaker 6: eight teachers. That's about two hundred and fifty bucks apiece.
- 27:04Speaker 6: Teachers can enter to win by July thirtieth, so that's
- 27:07Speaker 6: next Thursday, with winners announced the next day, July thirty. First,
- 27:10Speaker 6: eight teachers will be selected in Volusha County and another
- 27:14Speaker 6: four will be picked in Osciola County.
- 27:17Speaker 11: Wow.
- 27:18Speaker 3: Well anything to help, right.
- 27:19Speaker 2: Right, yeah, one hundred percent all right.
- 27:21Speaker 6: Those trying to protect sea turtles in Volusha County have
- 27:23Speaker 6: something to celebrate. The county announced yesterday it has set
- 27:26Speaker 6: a new sea turtle nest record this year.
- 27:28Speaker 2: So that cool.
- 27:30Speaker 6: Yeah, hell yeah, with over fifteen hundred nests recorded. Their
- 27:34Speaker 6: record breaking nest was found yesterday morning in Daytona Beach Shores.
- 27:37Speaker 6: That breaks the old record set three years ago. More
- 27:40Speaker 6: nests can still be found too, as nesting season runs
- 27:43Speaker 6: for another three months.
- 27:45Speaker 3: Awesome And I know Jack.
- 27:46Speaker 6: We also are teaming up with something to help teachers
- 27:48Speaker 6: out as well.
- 27:49Speaker 7: Right several things. We have three different events. We have
- 27:53Speaker 7: a backpack giveaway with key Foods this Saturday, Monsters Teacher
- 27:56Speaker 7: Appreciation party next Wednesday, and then we team up with
- 28:00Speaker 7: Fox thirty five a backpack brigade on Friday. All details
- 28:05Speaker 7: you find on our website, Real Radio, dot FM slash Events.
- 28:08Speaker 6: Which is great because we got to come out and
- 28:10Speaker 6: help the teachers every way that we can. They take
- 28:12Speaker 6: too much money out of their own pockets to try
- 28:14Speaker 6: and make sure our kids get the best classroom and
- 28:16Speaker 6: school experience that they can. Finally, Jimithy the raccoon captured
- 28:22Speaker 6: the attention of millions across the country for his unique appearance.
- 28:28Speaker 2: Have you seen this yet? J Yeah, I've seen him. Yeah, yeah,
- 28:30Speaker 2: it's wild.
- 28:31Speaker 6: Well, Jack I believe is getting ready to put Jimithy
- 28:33Speaker 6: up on the screen if you're watching us in our
- 28:35Speaker 6: YouTube channel. For those who do not know, the Seattle
- 28:38Speaker 6: based critter has quickly scampered into people's hearts after a
- 28:41Speaker 6: video of him roaming the streets last week went viral.
- 28:44Speaker 6: Unlike a typical raccoon, our little Jimithy has an extra
- 28:47Speaker 6: short neck and the look has made him quite popular
- 28:50Speaker 6: with fans across the world, as the video racked up
- 28:53Speaker 6: more than seven million views, and that was days ago. Meanwhile,
- 28:56Speaker 6: the National Bobblehead Hall of Fame and Museum, Okay, has
- 28:59Speaker 6: unveiled it's new Jimothy figure, which forever immortalizes Jimothy's unique
- 29:04Speaker 6: form quote and a running pose. As he is eyeing
- 29:08Speaker 6: his next adventure in the Emerald City.
- 29:10Speaker 2: It looks quote, it looks like it looks like he
- 29:12Speaker 2: has also porosis.
- 29:13Speaker 6: You know, he reminds me of do you remember from
- 29:15Speaker 6: ninety Day Fiance the little guy. He used to say
- 29:18Speaker 6: it was a Chandale's with no neck. Looks just like Jimmithy.
- 29:23Speaker 2: He look like a thumb with a face.
- 29:26Speaker 4: I think it's the same condition that no neck had had.
- 29:29Speaker 4: There is like a you know, like a physical defect
- 29:33Speaker 4: to this raccoon. To me, it's very much. It just
- 29:37Speaker 4: looks like half raccoon, half egor you know what I'm
- 29:41Speaker 4: talking about.
- 29:42Speaker 2: He looks he looks like an eagle la system. Yeah,
- 29:49Speaker 2: that's our take stamp. It looks like he's walking trying
- 29:52Speaker 2: to point his ass forward under his leg.
- 29:54Speaker 6: Yeah, but there's some kind of birth deformity. I mean,
- 29:57Speaker 6: obviously there's a little alien ass.
- 29:59Speaker 2: Let's say with these parents are brothers. Yeah, yeah, it
- 30:04Speaker 2: is Juliota. I think it's one of those things going on.
- 30:06Speaker 12: Man.
- 30:06Speaker 4: I think his mom is his sister and his grandpa
- 30:09Speaker 4: is Anco or something.
- 30:10Speaker 2: It's not Julia.
- 30:11Speaker 5: I'm joking.
- 30:12Speaker 6: Well, Jimithy fans across the country can order the new
- 30:14Speaker 6: limited edition bibblehead via the Hall of Fame and Museum's
- 30:17Speaker 6: official website. How much do you think a little Jimothy
- 30:20Speaker 6: bubble head is going to set you back? Twelve fifty
- 30:22Speaker 6: Oh yeah right, Jack?
- 30:24Speaker 2: Yeah, fifty bucks.
- 30:26Speaker 4: Yeah, forty ninety nine thirty dollars plus a flat eight
- 30:30Speaker 4: dollars shipping fee points ross.
- 30:33Speaker 2: Many Jack was showing New York Times has a video
- 30:35Speaker 2: like they're all this thing has only been hot for
- 30:37Speaker 2: like four days, and like they have mascots now at
- 30:40Speaker 2: baseball games news Jokie already has a magnet for this.
- 30:43Speaker 2: Oh wow, unbelievable. We're so slow.
- 30:46Speaker 3: The figures are expected to ship in December.
- 30:48Speaker 2: Wow, look at that thing.
- 30:49Speaker 3: And that concludes your JCS news.
- 30:56Speaker 2: All right, well, how hard that time?
- 30:58Speaker 13: Well?
- 30:58Speaker 2: Okay, you like that right?
- 30:59Speaker 14: All right?
- 30:59Speaker 3: Rightd of like a no neck kind of all.
- 31:01Speaker 2: Right, preset is your three like keyword. That's pr e
- 31:04Speaker 2: se t go to a real radio dout of him
- 31:05Speaker 2: and send that up for your chance at one thousand bucks.
- 31:07Speaker 2: Back in a second with more of the Jim Corbor.
- 31:09Speaker 6: Show over Crue.
- 31:10Speaker 15: It's Sarah, what's going on?
- 31:11Speaker 8: So?
- 31:12Speaker 15: I really wanted chili dogs for dinner? Right, So working
- 31:14Speaker 15: at a grocery store, I was like, I'll grab a
- 31:16Speaker 15: couple of things and I'll head home. Why are hot
- 31:18Speaker 15: dogs so expensive?
- 31:20Speaker 3: And I'm not that much of.
- 31:21Speaker 15: An animal where I eat the Franks like, I gotta
- 31:23Speaker 15: have the beef hot dogs and it's like seven point
- 31:26Speaker 15: fifty for the ballpark rand absolutely ridiculous. But I'm making
- 31:30Speaker 15: chili dogs for dinner.
- 31:32Speaker 2: That's so ridiculous. Nothing to have a chilli dog though,
- 31:35Speaker 2: that's for sure. Welcome back to the Jim Culper Show,
- 31:38Speaker 2: Real Radio one O four point one. I'm Jim. There's
- 31:40Speaker 2: Devin Penn jank Yeah, butt fifty and sauce that well?
- 31:45Speaker 2: Really a dollar fifty for a hot dog?
- 31:48Speaker 4: Oh?
- 31:48Speaker 2: I thought you been for a pack of them. No,
- 31:50Speaker 2: believe in yourself. I can only have hot dogs like
- 31:54Speaker 2: twice a year. I got my blood work today and
- 31:56Speaker 2: not good.
- 31:57Speaker 7: Uh, let us go over the number, swift. You no,
- 32:00Speaker 7: let's not Why not?
- 32:02Speaker 2: Yeah because you're social Yeah yeah, yeah, that's so funny.
- 32:07Speaker 2: Let's go your blood work. It's not against your social
- 32:09Speaker 2: media security.
- 32:11Speaker 7: I thought he meant social security number, but yeah, yeah, whatever, wrong.
- 32:15Speaker 2: I gotta start working out. I gotta get my sugar.
- 32:17Speaker 2: I got too much sugar. Too much sugar. Did cholesterol
- 32:21Speaker 2: start with a three? No? No, no, that's good. Yea,
- 32:25Speaker 2: not even close to that. So it's in the two hundred. Yeah,
- 32:27Speaker 2: it's in the twos first. Oh my god, yeah yeah
- 32:29Speaker 2: it is. Yeah, it's not good, dude, that bro. Yeah.
- 32:32Speaker 2: I just gotta stup drinking sodas. I think sodas are
- 32:34Speaker 2: my major problem because I drink. You know what, you
- 32:36Speaker 2: don't think, so, no sodas our problem. The easiest way
- 32:40Speaker 2: to deliver high amounts of sugar in your body is soda.
- 32:43Speaker 2: Here's the deal. I was living in the one nineties
- 32:47Speaker 2: getting away with it. In the past.
- 32:48Speaker 7: Couple of times, I started hitting this two hundred number
- 32:51Speaker 7: for cholesterol. Yeah, he's like, it's time take a statin
- 32:55Speaker 7: once a night, little tidy, little pill. Cholesterol dropped to
- 32:58Speaker 7: one thirty five. Really unbelievable. I think I've got a
- 33:02Speaker 7: friend to take my diet. Hell no, yeah, I got
- 33:04Speaker 7: a friend that takes those. But I need to I
- 33:05Speaker 7: need to just do more. I you know, it's so funny.
- 33:07Speaker 7: I text my wife this morning. I'm like, I think
- 33:09Speaker 7: this is the kick in the ass that I needed
- 33:10Speaker 7: to kind of get my blank together and kind of
- 33:13Speaker 7: you know, those blood numbers.
- 33:14Speaker 2: Gotta get better. I'm here for you. What do you
- 33:16Speaker 2: mean you're here for me? He wants to run with you.
- 33:18Speaker 2: I'm here for you. I don't know what that means.
- 33:20Speaker 2: I'm doing a five k in November. Yeah, I'm sorry.
- 33:23Speaker 2: Oh that's right. Yeah, this is you can do it
- 33:26Speaker 2: with it. Running is not the thing, though. I need
- 33:28Speaker 2: to like do weight training in some cardio, but I
- 33:31Speaker 2: can't run. Man, you don't think running for you is
- 33:34Speaker 2: weight training?
- 33:38Speaker 6: Whoa, and that's your boy's training for me.
- 33:44Speaker 3: It's safe.
- 33:45Speaker 2: He's like all that stuff you gotta pull around.
- 33:47Speaker 4: I got these quarantine jug milk size that I gotta
- 33:52Speaker 4: lug around.
- 33:54Speaker 2: Did you guys see the bottle of tequila got him yesterday?
- 33:58Speaker 2: That was yesterday. We have to focus on today. Widely
- 34:02Speaker 2: considered one of the best Repisodo's on planet Earth. It
- 34:05Speaker 2: was really good. Yeah yeah, I took another glass of
- 34:07Speaker 2: both of yours last night.
- 34:09Speaker 8: Cool.
- 34:10Speaker 2: So I deserve what you just said. I mean it
- 34:11Speaker 2: was no you said me weight training is me running
- 34:15Speaker 2: because of my weight lifting, It is training. I just
- 34:18Speaker 2: I hate running by myself.
- 34:20Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 34:20Speaker 4: Yeah, it's more of a me lashing out thing because
- 34:22Speaker 4: I'm alone.
- 34:23Speaker 2: Bad save that was a bad say that part. Did
- 34:27Speaker 2: you guys see that? By the way, I'll yes, I'm
- 34:29Speaker 2: not doing five k's, but I gotta get going for sure.
- 34:32Speaker 7: Squads do the five k you could walk it. It's
- 34:34Speaker 7: a flapjack five k. After the race, they're all the
- 34:37Speaker 7: neat pancakes.
- 34:38Speaker 2: Yeah, man, I'm not I can't do that, dude. I'm
- 34:40Speaker 2: gonna tell you, I've got to get my blank together.
- 34:42Speaker 2: Are you guys ready to see me at one eighty five? Yeah?
- 34:45Speaker 5: Weird.
- 34:45Speaker 2: That's gonna be periods and being sized thirty twos? Is
- 34:50Speaker 2: that gonna be? Is that what you guys want? What
- 34:52Speaker 2: size are you right now? Thirty? What you think?
- 34:56Speaker 5: What was the question?
- 34:57Speaker 2: You think you could get under two hundred pounds? Yes?
- 35:01Speaker 4: I do think I can't yeah. Oh, that man just
- 35:04Speaker 4: lost confidence every syllable. I'm eventually gonna die. Yes, I'll
- 35:07Speaker 4: get under two hundred.
- 35:11Speaker 2: Yeah, that's right. Yeah. I mean look, can I tell
- 35:15Speaker 2: you something. If I got trapped in one hundred and
- 35:17Speaker 2: twenty eight hour scenario, I would still be fat. Even
- 35:20Speaker 2: if I cut my arm off, I would still be
- 35:23Speaker 2: I would be too heavy, Like Jad, what are you doing?
- 35:27Speaker 7: The only way you see under two hundred is with
- 35:30Speaker 7: a GLP one.
- 35:31Speaker 2: And they may do that, by the way, I think
- 35:33Speaker 2: he tried to put me on Manjarno before. But I
- 35:35Speaker 2: wouldn't take it.
- 35:36Speaker 4: What do you mean they Yeah, yeah, but you have
- 35:38Speaker 4: a say in that. Yeah, and he's been saying no.
- 35:41Speaker 4: But I won't take it. I won't take the pills,
- 35:43Speaker 4: I will take the semi glue ties. I'll just do
- 35:45Speaker 4: the work. I won't do that because I know that
- 35:47Speaker 4: there's a there's a path without it, and if I
- 35:49Speaker 4: just took the pill to do it, I would feel
- 35:51Speaker 4: And I'm not dogging on anybody that does it.
- 35:53Speaker 2: I promise you this is not a uh remark based
- 35:56Speaker 2: on that. I just for me, if I know I
- 35:59Speaker 2: have the ability to do it, I would just rather
- 36:01Speaker 2: do that than take a bill to do it.
- 36:03Speaker 7: How long of you not losing the weight until you
- 36:06Speaker 7: give in and say I'll take it.
- 36:08Speaker 2: No, I mean I'll just do it. I mean I'll
- 36:11Speaker 2: just do it. There's no other way to look at it.
- 36:12Speaker 2: I will just do it.
- 36:13Speaker 4: Also, you don't have to run when you go quote
- 36:17Speaker 4: unquote running. You go ahead, maybe a brisk jog for
- 36:21Speaker 4: a minute. Did he take a minute off?
- 36:22Speaker 7: You did a five k in in less than thirty
- 36:24Speaker 7: or about thirty minutes, right, I think it was more
- 36:26Speaker 7: like a forty two minute scenario.
- 36:28Speaker 2: But so you finished and survived. I think it was
- 36:31Speaker 2: more like a forty two minute scenario. My wife held
- 36:33Speaker 2: me back, That's what I tell people.
- 36:36Speaker 3: I'm sure she loves that.
- 36:37Speaker 2: No, she did not hold me back. She was right
- 36:39Speaker 2: there with me the entire time. She was helping.
- 36:41Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 36:41Speaker 2: Yeah, she was good. She was one given the oxygen. Yeah,
- 36:46Speaker 2: she was carrying my bottle. Yeah. Somebody said, come out
- 36:50Speaker 2: and row with us at Lake County rowing.
- 36:51Speaker 3: That's that's how hard work, right there.
- 36:54Speaker 11: Boy.
- 36:54Speaker 2: I gotta tell you my guy that I used to
- 36:56Speaker 2: work out with all the time, Michael, back in the day.
- 36:58Speaker 2: I asked him, I said, if you had one machine,
- 37:01Speaker 2: one machine in this entire gym that you would work
- 37:04Speaker 2: out on a daily basis to get the most thorough
- 37:06Speaker 2: workout and do nothing else. I said, which one one?
- 37:09Speaker 2: And he didn't even pause. It was I mean, as
- 37:12Speaker 2: soon as I got done, he goes the row machine
- 37:14Speaker 2: without question. Is the number one thing I would use
- 37:16Speaker 2: to gain any arms corn?
- 37:22Speaker 11: Yeah, I.
- 37:24Speaker 4: Think it's also the soda. I agree with you there.
- 37:27Speaker 4: I would love to see you stop drinking soda.
- 37:29Speaker 2: I don't eat well sometimes, like when I when I
- 37:31Speaker 2: go on benders, like it's barbecue and stuff like that.
- 37:34Speaker 2: But but to be honest with you, I don't eat that.
- 37:36Speaker 2: I eat more home cooked meals than I do any
- 37:38Speaker 2: meals outside. But then again, like here's what will happen,
- 37:41Speaker 2: and this is what happened last night, Like I'll eat
- 37:43Speaker 2: really well for three days. I'm like, man, I have
- 37:45Speaker 2: killed it time for some wings. And that's exactly what
- 37:48Speaker 2: I did. All right.
- 37:50Speaker 4: I mean you just can have a cheap day, but
- 37:52Speaker 4: maybe not every two or three days.
- 37:54Speaker 2: Right, exactly?
- 37:55Speaker 1: All right?
- 37:55Speaker 2: Four O seven then went six one of four one
- 37:57Speaker 2: text seven seven zero three one got a fresh keyword

- 38:25Speaker 16: bad boys running a fifty cow on one of the
- 38:27Speaker 16: cutters and Jimmy. Now, some people get song lyrics stuck
- 38:31Speaker 16: in their head. Yep, well thank you, because I can't
- 38:33Speaker 16: shake that my taste buds away from those wonderful chicken
- 38:36Speaker 16: nuggets that go sweet and sour.

- 39:08Speaker 1: out of the house. It's time to find out what
- 39:10Speaker 1: there is to see with Chloe G from New Orlando Weekly.
- 39:14Speaker 11: Chloe G.
- 39:15Speaker 18: Yeah, thank you so much.
- 39:18Speaker 11: What's up, young lady?
- 39:19Speaker 18: How are you happy? Thursday?
- 39:21Speaker 2: Thursday to you as well? You have your hair up,
- 39:23Speaker 2: so it's hair up hot out there.
- 39:25Speaker 18: Up, it's real hot, it's real bad. It's don't ass
- 39:28Speaker 18: don't talk to me outside.
- 39:30Speaker 2: Heat, do not stop me, do not pause.
- 39:32Speaker 18: I don't want to talk to you. I don't want
- 39:33Speaker 18: to look at anything.
- 39:35Speaker 2: I'm in and out.
- 39:35Speaker 18: I'm in and out of the ac A good week
- 39:38Speaker 18: so far, Yes, very good week so far.
- 39:39Speaker 9: Yeah.
- 39:39Speaker 2: Not happening in this hot summer right.
- 39:41Speaker 18: Very much is going on.
- 39:44Speaker 2: Yes, let's get to it. What's going on this weekend?
- 39:45Speaker 5: All right?
- 39:46Speaker 18: We have a lot of live music this weekend and
- 39:49Speaker 18: a lot of food to eat, things to shop around,
- 39:51Speaker 18: lots of good stuff. So first, Rick Ross is performing
- 39:56Speaker 18: in Orlando Friday night. Oh, he's here, but he's doing
- 40:00Speaker 18: something a little bit different. So he's actually bringing a
- 40:03Speaker 18: black tie orchestra experience to the Doctor Phillip Center Way
- 40:09Speaker 18: Oh yeah. So this is to celebrate the twentieth anniversary
- 40:13Speaker 18: of his Port of Miami album. So he's going to
- 40:16Speaker 18: perform alongside the Renaissance Orchestra and the Sainted Trap Choir, Okay,
- 40:21Speaker 18: to kind of transform this album that helped launch his
- 40:24Speaker 18: career pretty much, you know, into more of a classical experience.
- 40:28Speaker 2: Yeah. Nothing in the world, I'm telling you, I know
- 40:31Speaker 2: this for a fact. Nothing in the world makes a
- 40:34Speaker 2: lyric of spraying a crowd with an AK forty seven
- 40:37Speaker 2: like an obo.
- 40:38Speaker 18: Yes, exactly, And that's what I'm thinking too. Obviously, this
- 40:43Speaker 18: is such a funny juxtaposition. But I actually kind of
- 40:46Speaker 18: think it will be beautiful. The Doctor Phillips Center does
- 40:48Speaker 18: such a good job with these types of shows. So yeah,
- 40:52Speaker 18: so I love this. I think it'll be really fun.
- 40:54Speaker 18: So that show is on Friday at eight pm at
- 40:57Speaker 18: the Doctor Phillips Center's Walt Disney World Theater.
- 41:00Speaker 6: You know, with his what's part of his rider backstage,
- 41:03Speaker 6: he has to have a meat loaf in broccoli.
- 41:06Speaker 2: Does he really he likes before he.
- 41:09Speaker 11: Does this show.
- 41:10Speaker 18: Well, he's a coffee guy.
- 41:14Speaker 3: Watch crystal big glass of milk.
- 41:17Speaker 18: Yeah, yeah, And tickets start at ninety one dollar. Also
- 41:22Speaker 18: this weekend, Sip and saverr is back. This is a
- 41:25Speaker 18: two week kind of celebration of Orlando eateries that kicks
- 41:29Speaker 18: off on Friday. So for the two weeks you can
- 41:32Speaker 18: find discounts and savings on food all around town, spanning
- 41:36Speaker 18: Orlando's kind of twelve main street districts the main neighborhoods.
- 41:41Speaker 18: So with over eighty restaurants participating, that's cool. Some spots
- 41:45Speaker 18: are offering deals on coffee breakfasts, others are doing lunch
- 41:49Speaker 18: and dinner. Some have deals on ice cream and other
- 41:51Speaker 18: little treats. And it starts Friday. But if you miss
- 41:55Speaker 18: the start, you have all or sorry. You have two
- 41:58Speaker 18: weeks to catch some good deals on local food and
- 42:03Speaker 18: the event runs through August ninth. Nice lots to eat there.
- 42:08Speaker 18: The Friends of the Library Summer Book Sale is also
- 42:11Speaker 18: happening this weekend. You're saying that because I'm going to
- 42:14Speaker 18: make a jerk about a joke about nerdy. So this
- 42:18Speaker 18: is a fun shopping event for people who love books.
- 42:23Speaker 2: And you're so.
- 42:27Speaker 18: Nerdy.
- 42:27Speaker 2: Stop. Are you a big reader? You have a lot
- 42:31Speaker 2: of books you like.
- 42:31Speaker 18: I really love reading. I like nerdy people, but I
- 42:35Speaker 18: really love reading. It's it's hard because I read for
- 42:37Speaker 18: my jobs. So sometimes I'm like, I can't look at
- 42:40Speaker 18: printed English language anymore at the end of the day.
- 42:43Speaker 18: But I do. I do love reading. I appreciate a library.
- 42:45Speaker 2: So you're not a kindled person, you're a book person.
- 42:48Speaker 18: I prefer the pages to hold, the page smell, and
- 42:56Speaker 18: then whenever you move you have to just like log
- 42:58Speaker 18: pounds hundreds of pounds of books whenever you move places
- 43:01Speaker 18: that you're living.
- 43:01Speaker 2: Yeah, that's great.
- 43:03Speaker 18: No, I don't that was actually a joke. I really
- 43:05Speaker 18: don't like that. But so this is the annual sale
- 43:10Speaker 18: held at the Orlando Public Libraries Bookshop. So from Friday
- 43:14Speaker 18: until Sunday, you can chop through all the books and
- 43:17Speaker 18: physical media. They have vinyl records, CD's, movies, cool, everything
- 43:21Speaker 18: is fifty percent off.
- 43:22Speaker 2: I am really.
- 43:22Speaker 18: I have seen the lines form for these sales and
- 43:25Speaker 18: they sometimes wrap around the building twice, Like people really
- 43:28Speaker 18: go in for this, love it, and they leave with
- 43:31Speaker 18: big tote bags full of books that they paid a
- 43:32Speaker 18: few dollars for. It's a really loved nerdy shopping event.
- 43:36Speaker 2: It's nice.
- 43:37Speaker 18: So we love that.
- 43:38Speaker 2: Yes, I mean, a book is a big deal. Books
- 43:40Speaker 2: aren't cheap.
- 43:41Speaker 18: I mean, and they're cheap here too, so like you're
- 43:43Speaker 18: really paying very minimal prices. The Christmas in July bar
- 43:48Speaker 18: Crawl is coming to downtown Orlando this weekend. So on Saturday,
- 43:54Speaker 18: everybody is going to dress up in what I'm assuming
- 43:58Speaker 18: is going to be more summer apropriate Christmas themed attire.
- 44:01Speaker 18: So maybe you know, flip flops in Santa hat shorts,
- 44:05Speaker 18: half a Santa costume, that's maybe a beard, something that
- 44:09Speaker 18: isn't gonna, you know, give you heat stroke.
- 44:10Speaker 6: And likea please, I'm thinking just a Christmas stop.
- 44:15Speaker 18: Yeah, that's what I'm just where, just a Christmas Yeah
- 44:18Speaker 18: maybe yeah, maybe some flops. We'll see. But so this
- 44:22Speaker 18: starts at the Bullet Bar in downtown Orlando. There are
- 44:28Speaker 18: going to be themed drink specials at all the different
- 44:30Speaker 18: bars that everyone will stop out stop that there will
- 44:33Speaker 18: be an after party, and tickets start at just thirteen dollars,
- 44:38Speaker 18: but there are a few range in tickets, and the
- 44:42Speaker 18: check in is at the Bullet Bar from six to
- 44:45Speaker 18: eight pm, and then the drinking goes on pretty much
- 44:48Speaker 18: all night I'm assuming until the bar is closed.
- 44:51Speaker 2: Bullet Bar, they drag you out bulletbars. Bullet Bar has
- 44:54Speaker 2: been on there a long time.
- 44:55Speaker 18: I've already been has it really Yeah.
- 44:57Speaker 2: I just hear people talking about it. I just it's
- 44:59Speaker 2: weird that when you said that, I was like, damn,
- 45:01Speaker 2: that's a bar that's still open in Orlando, because I
- 45:03Speaker 2: mean we went through a spate of about you know,
- 45:05Speaker 2: last year or so where we lost like, you know,
- 45:07Speaker 2: six or seven so many.
- 45:08Speaker 18: Yeah, it was it was terrible.
- 45:10Speaker 2: That was sad.
- 45:11Speaker 18: That was really sad.
- 45:12Speaker 2: When they were making them pay for the police to
- 45:13Speaker 2: be there. I mean, those guys couldn't aford it. Yeah,
- 45:15Speaker 2: They're like, look, we gotta you know, we're barely making
- 45:17Speaker 2: it now with rent so expensive, and now you want
- 45:19Speaker 2: to pay for like two full time cops to be yea. Yeah,
- 45:22Speaker 2: a lot of them couldn't do it. Yeah, And unfortunately
- 45:24Speaker 2: a lot of the bar owners and their own multiple bars,
- 45:27Speaker 2: so one goes, you.
- 45:28Speaker 18: Know, the other sister bar goes at the same time.
- 45:30Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 45:30Speaker 18: Yeah, no, I know that there's a lot of a
- 45:33Speaker 18: lot of business struggles going on in downtown, a lot
- 45:35Speaker 18: of nightlife and financial issues going on as well. It's unfortunately, not.
- 45:39Speaker 2: To mention, man, they've had a little violence down there
- 45:41Speaker 2: recently too, so that you know, it makes it weird
- 45:42Speaker 2: for people to go down there because they want to
- 45:44Speaker 2: go down and have a good time, but you know,
- 45:45Speaker 2: they can't keep these near to wells that want to
- 45:48Speaker 2: cause trouble out of there.
- 45:49Speaker 19: Ye.
- 45:49Speaker 18: And I think that's the thing the city is aiming
- 45:51Speaker 18: to make it a little bit more family friendly, but
- 45:53Speaker 18: then that's pushing out.
- 45:54Speaker 2: The bar sure. Yeah, yeah, the drinkers. And by the way,
- 45:57Speaker 2: I know that you're young. We've been through this before.
- 45:58Speaker 2: We went through this and then no.
- 46:00Speaker 18: Yeah, it's the cycle.
- 46:01Speaker 2: And I think they went through in the eighties as well,
- 46:03Speaker 2: where they get they want everybody to come down. Then
- 46:05Speaker 2: then it got crazy. They're like, oh, we didn't want.
- 46:07Speaker 5: It just crazy.
- 46:07Speaker 2: Yeah yeah, and everybody out they're like, oh, we will
- 46:09Speaker 2: try it again. Yeah, I got crazy.
- 46:12Speaker 18: It's a little bit of a cycle. It's okay, it's okay,
- 46:15Speaker 18: you know, it's not figure it out. Yeah, all right. Well,
- 46:19Speaker 18: I have one final event for you guys. Lionel Richie
- 46:22Speaker 18: and Earth Wind and Fire are performing this weekend. This
- 46:26Speaker 18: is part of the national co headlining tour that they
- 46:29Speaker 18: are on together right now. The tour got a little
- 46:32Speaker 18: bit of a Rocky start because Lionel Richie was ill
- 46:35Speaker 18: at first. But they're back. He's doing better. They've rescheduled
- 46:39Speaker 18: all of the canceled shows. The Orlando show on Saturday
- 46:43Speaker 18: night is going to take place at the Kia Center
- 46:47Speaker 18: and it starts at seven thirty pm and tickets start
- 46:50Speaker 18: at just about thirty three dollars. They ranged to a
- 46:52Speaker 18: couple hundred depending on you know where you're sitting in there.
- 46:55Speaker 2: But are you a Lionel fan.
- 46:57Speaker 18: I'm not too familiar with the man's work, but I
- 47:00Speaker 18: think I think I could be. I would never say
- 47:03Speaker 18: I'm not.
- 47:03Speaker 7: Two years ago they came to town at the Keyst Center.
- 47:06Speaker 7: I saw them. It was Earthwindom Fire with Lionel Richie, right,
- 47:10Speaker 7: it was I went for earth Windom Fire. I'm like, okay,
- 47:13Speaker 7: Lionel Richie, I'm familiar with it. But then you forget
- 47:15Speaker 7: how many solo hits he is.
- 47:17Speaker 2: He kills it. Yeah, he absolutely kills me. He's a murderer, dude.
- 47:21Speaker 2: That guy's written so many gigantic songs.
- 47:24Speaker 7: It is just a night filled with great music from
- 47:27Speaker 7: both of those artists in those bands. Except the weirdest thing,
- 47:31Speaker 7: you know, Judge Joe Brown. Yeah, he was in the
- 47:34Speaker 7: audience and Lionel Richie called about about four separate times
- 47:39Speaker 7: like he'd.
- 47:40Speaker 2: Referred to it, isn't that right Joe Brown? Like he
- 47:44Speaker 2: was on the payrollers. I love it. It was a
- 47:46Speaker 2: bit bizarre, but the music was fantastic.
- 47:48Speaker 20: It is.
- 47:49Speaker 2: He is a major player from the late seventies going
- 47:51Speaker 2: all the way through the eighties and nineties. I mean,
- 47:53Speaker 2: like a major player.
- 47:54Speaker 18: Are you telling me that's because I'm young? Yeaheah, Oh,
- 47:57Speaker 18: I know, I know, I know, I know.
- 48:00Speaker 2: I'm getting the hands.
- 48:07Speaker 18: Well, yeah, I think that this will be a really
- 48:08Speaker 18: great show. I'm kind of surprised it's not sold out already,
- 48:11Speaker 18: so their sticks still available and it'll be a good show.
- 48:15Speaker 18: That's what I have for you this.
- 48:20Speaker 2: You have anywhere to go today?

- 50:58Speaker 2: We're all still trying to fit it out, all right,
- 51:01Speaker 2: Welcome back on, Jim, There's deb Hello Jack Ross, Chloe
- 51:05Speaker 2: Gan for another segment. Have you guys seen the video
- 51:10Speaker 2: of the orcas that's making the rounds today.
- 51:12Speaker 3: I wouldn't look at it.
- 51:14Speaker 18: I haven't seen it. I'm scared.
- 51:16Speaker 2: Okay, so yeah, I thought it was good until devers.
- 51:20Speaker 2: We only have a couple of minutes here and so
- 51:22Speaker 2: I will kind of. I wanted to ask Chloy what
- 51:24Speaker 2: she thinks? Are you big animal fan?
- 51:26Speaker 18: Like animals?
- 51:28Speaker 2: Okay?
- 51:28Speaker 3: Yeah, keep going.
- 51:30Speaker 2: Do you know anything about orcas?
- 51:32Speaker 18: I know they're very like so vicious.
- 51:34Speaker 2: They're vicious, but they're also painfully smart. Right I remember
- 51:38Speaker 2: last year they started attacking boats and turning boats, right, yes,
- 51:42Speaker 2: And we also know that they do stuff for fun.
- 51:45Speaker 2: Like most animals just hunt and kill because they need
- 51:48Speaker 2: to eat. Some animals and the only one like cut
- 51:51Speaker 2: it's fun. Do you know what a sunfish is? Have
- 51:53Speaker 2: you ever seen the flat there? J Yeah, scuba dizer,
- 51:58Speaker 2: scuba diver goes up to one. They're bigger than a
- 52:00Speaker 2: scuba diver. They's a couple hundred pounds. I ain't never
- 52:03Speaker 2: seen anything like that before. Yeah, that's from a sales. Yeah.
- 52:09Speaker 2: There was a sunfish swimming and I don't know why
- 52:12Speaker 2: somebody was taking a video of this because two orcs
- 52:14Speaker 2: were swimming around the sunfish. Some fish do not swim fast.
- 52:17Speaker 2: Orcs swim fast, right, this one orca peeled off, goes
- 52:22Speaker 2: around and gets going as fast as he can and
- 52:25Speaker 2: hits the sunfish broadside and it explodes. No, not for food,
- 52:32Speaker 2: just for fun.
- 52:33Speaker 18: Oh that's sick, sick and twisted.
- 52:35Speaker 2: It leads me to believe here is right here. I
- 52:37Speaker 2: mean you can't see it on your screen though, but
- 52:39Speaker 2: leads me to believe that orchids are the biggest a
- 52:41Speaker 2: holes in the entire animal kingboar.
- 52:43Speaker 11: Aren't they like.
- 52:44Speaker 18: The most aggressive like most deadly animals or something like that?
- 52:48Speaker 6: The humans Oh right, oh right, yeah yeah, or are
- 52:53Speaker 6: trying to get to No, you're right, yeah, they're just.
- 52:57Speaker 3: They're like they're close. Well maybe not, what more can
- 53:00Speaker 3: I do?
- 53:00Speaker 2: Maybe it was a teenage orca. Yeah yeah, there you go.
- 53:03Speaker 2: And that was his his like mailboxing. Yeah, I mean
- 53:07Speaker 2: it absolutely did you see the video ross? That is
- 53:10Speaker 2: it just it it disintegrated. This that is a lot
- 53:13Speaker 2: of wow. Oh yeah, that is a disturbed song in
- 53:17Speaker 2: a video right there. You're right, my goodness it is.
- 53:20Speaker 2: And and the orcid just did it like it was
- 53:22Speaker 2: for fun. And I was like, well, who's a bigger
- 53:24Speaker 2: a hole in the animal king than then? Orcids?
- 53:27Speaker 18: Yeah, I'm are you guys a little bit terrified of
- 53:29Speaker 18: the deep ocean?
- 53:30Speaker 11: Oh?
- 53:30Speaker 18: I feel like it's everybody's either terrified of that or
- 53:33Speaker 18: like the thought of space. Yeah, the ocean scares me
- 53:35Speaker 18: so bad.
- 53:36Speaker 2: If you were my buddy's at a boat and they
- 53:37Speaker 2: go out fishing, like they got twenty five miles in
- 53:39Speaker 2: the ocean whatever, it's like, you know, fifteen hundred feet
- 53:41Speaker 2: deep or wherever they are, and uh, and they jump
- 53:44Speaker 2: out and go swimming, and I'm like, are you crazy?
- 53:47Speaker 18: They're terrifying.
- 53:48Speaker 2: There's no way. And here's the thing, I know how
- 53:51Speaker 2: ridiculous it is, Like it's just deep water. It doesn't
- 53:55Speaker 2: it really means nothing more than swimming an eight foot
- 53:57Speaker 2: of water or eight hundred feet of water.
- 53:58Speaker 22: I don't know.
- 53:59Speaker 18: There's animal, there's poisonous little seaweeds and things swimming around.
- 54:04Speaker 18: Even if I don't think it's just water, even.
- 54:07Speaker 2: If there was nothing there, I'm telling you straight up,
- 54:09Speaker 2: I would I don't deep water weirds me out.
- 54:11Speaker 4: Yeah, biggest a hole in the Kingdom. I'm gonna go kangaroo.
- 54:15Speaker 2: I like them.
- 54:16Speaker 4: I want to have a beer with a kangaroo. But
- 54:18Speaker 4: I've seen all the videos.
- 54:19Speaker 2: They're never cool. I saw the kangaroo.
- 54:21Speaker 3: There's a reason why a group of kangaroos is called
- 54:23Speaker 3: a mob.
- 54:26Speaker 4: Yea even in acme you know Looney Tunes, they have
- 54:29Speaker 4: boxing blows. That's kind of a whole behavior. Man, they're
- 54:33Speaker 4: trying to scrap. They're they're like they're drunk on cold.
- 54:35Speaker 2: And look, you would think badgers like would get the
- 54:38Speaker 2: moniker a big the biggest a hole. But the thing
- 54:40Speaker 2: is is badgers don't blink with you if you don't
- 54:41Speaker 2: blink with them. They're just they're just not going out
- 54:44Speaker 2: doing badger business on people, just kind of walking by.
- 54:47Speaker 18: Yeah, that's respect.
- 54:48Speaker 2: They all have to they don't have to do badger
- 54:50Speaker 2: business when badger business is needed. These are artists are
- 54:53Speaker 2: just start killing things for fun.
- 54:54Speaker 7: Well some texts say actually rhyming the fish was to
- 54:58Speaker 7: feed the juvenile the baby.
- 55:00Speaker 2: Well oh really, I didn't.
- 55:01Speaker 18: I don't know about.
- 55:04Speaker 2: Nobody was eating Like the video I saw, they were
- 55:07Speaker 2: just kind of playing around in the and what was
- 55:09Speaker 2: left over of the sun fished.
- 55:10Speaker 18: Oh my god, that's so sick it. How about cats?
- 55:15Speaker 2: Cats are kind of do you see?
- 55:17Speaker 18: And that's what I knew you were going to say.
- 55:18Speaker 3: He always says it. Even I've already heard it.
- 55:23Speaker 2: You think, wow, you can.
- 55:26Speaker 3: Come back anytime.
- 55:28Speaker 2: But it doesn't mean that they're not pricks, because we
- 55:31Speaker 2: know cats can do stuff like cats go and just
- 55:33Speaker 2: knock stuff off your counters. Cats will just walk by
- 55:36Speaker 2: my dog and just smacking for nothing. Cats do have
- 55:40Speaker 2: a little that in him. You have to admit that.
- 55:42Speaker 18: See, but maybe the cat is thinking this big man
- 55:44Speaker 18: is walking around my house, stepping in, getting in my way.
- 55:49Speaker 18: You're just putting cups on my shelf that I need
- 55:51Speaker 18: to knock over. I don't know, that's just maybe that's
- 55:53Speaker 18: where my mind is going.
- 55:55Speaker 4: I had a really weird exchange basically with a veterinarian,
- 55:58Speaker 4: you know, because my dog's don't want to bring down
- 56:01Speaker 4: the room, but I promise it's worth bringing up. Is
- 56:03Speaker 4: that she brought up like in a weird charming dog
- 56:07Speaker 4: difference cat difference during these somber times with my older
- 56:11Speaker 4: dog of saying that your dog will do its best
- 56:14Speaker 4: to act alright because it's looking out for you. But
- 56:17Speaker 4: vice versa with a cat is that a cat goes
- 56:20Speaker 4: ahead and is going, hey, look out for me, this
- 56:23Speaker 4: is my time right now. Because like cats. The argument
- 56:26Speaker 4: that cats have domesticated humans.
- 56:29Speaker 18: Well, yeah, that's the thing. They say that a lot
- 56:33Speaker 18: of the typical domesticated cat like pet cat behavior is
- 56:36Speaker 18: because they think that they are your parents. They think
- 56:39Speaker 18: that they you're their child and they need to clean
- 56:42Speaker 18: you and take care of you. And that's where that
- 56:43Speaker 18: comes from. All the rubbing on your leg, the sleeping
- 56:46Speaker 18: on your chest, you get that debt.
- 56:49Speaker 6: But I know the rubbing on the leg is to
- 56:50Speaker 6: definitely mark you as theirs because of the glands in
- 56:53Speaker 6: their eyes. Yeah, sleeping on your chest. I mean, I
- 56:57Speaker 6: don't know if you guys have heard the mega hurts.
- 57:00Speaker 6: I believe that a purr is at you. Ever notice
- 57:02Speaker 6: a cat never has like a broken leg. Yeah, because
- 57:04Speaker 6: the purring helps heal their ligaments, their muscles and bones.
- 57:08Speaker 6: And they say that when they lay on you, yeah,
- 57:10Speaker 6: they're also helping you.
- 57:13Speaker 2: Chest.
- 57:14Speaker 7: They're they're trying to suck your breath. No, ya, that's.
- 57:18Speaker 2: Only when they're killing babies.
- 57:20Speaker 11: Yeah.
- 57:20Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, I've been You're so.
- 57:28Speaker 3: Much love, so much love.
- 57:30Speaker 4: Don't budge me in that group, dad, because I am
- 57:33Speaker 4: im team. I'm convinced that we have domesticated dogs and
- 57:36Speaker 4: cats have domesticated us. I think that's like the animal
- 57:40Speaker 4: kingdom like relationship between the Big three years.
- 57:44Speaker 2: Because here's the thing. I can call my cat sometimes,
- 57:46Speaker 2: or excuse me, I can call my daughter's cat sometimes
- 57:49Speaker 2: and she will come to me like like my dog will.
- 57:51Speaker 2: And there are other times she'll just look at me
- 57:53Speaker 2: and go, yeah, yeah, just like your wife and both
- 57:59Speaker 2: of them.
- 57:59Speaker 18: It's because either you're calling because I'm going to give
- 58:02Speaker 18: you something, that's why the cat's coming, or he's calling me.
- 58:05Speaker 18: I'm not feeling it. I don't even want anything that
- 58:07Speaker 18: he could give me.
- 58:08Speaker 2: Right yeh, won't even look back at his shoulder. Yeah,
- 58:12Speaker 2: you want your mouth?
- 58:14Speaker 3: I did you need to say it? Even need to
- 58:16Speaker 3: say you.
- 58:18Speaker 2: Watch your mouth? I'm so confused.
- 58:22Speaker 7: Yeah, So back to the or it's doped you. It
- 58:26Speaker 7: said after it does this and then juvenile whales come
- 58:31Speaker 7: in and feed.
- 58:32Speaker 2: Really, I did not see that. And I read a
- 58:34Speaker 2: little bit on this saiday and the seater. Somebody said
- 58:36Speaker 2: the sunfish was a paid actor. It's a joke. But
- 58:39Speaker 2: also said somebody. Somebody said the sunfish was dead. I've
- 58:42Speaker 2: heard that too by the time, but I did not
- 58:44Speaker 2: read that the sunfish was dead.
- 58:46Speaker 7: The one well, release it the other whale rams it.
- 58:48Speaker 7: It explodes, and then the juveniles come over and feet It's.
- 58:51Speaker 18: Kind of like what mother birds do, you know what
- 58:54Speaker 18: I mean? They chop it up, they throw it back up,
- 58:56Speaker 18: but he's just chopping it up.
- 58:57Speaker 2: Yeah, they kids.
- 58:59Speaker 7: That's actually Are we sad about the worms?
- 59:03Speaker 2: Yeah? Yeah, come on yeah. Life. Also we know that
- 59:06Speaker 2: these things are so smart. When they hunt in pods
- 59:09Speaker 2: and they have a seal that's on a piece of
- 59:11Speaker 2: ice like kind of chilling out there, they'll poke their
- 59:13Speaker 2: head up and see it, and then they get going
- 59:15Speaker 2: and hauling ass and right before they get to the
- 59:17Speaker 2: piece of ice, they will dive and it creates a
- 59:20Speaker 2: wave that washes over the ice and washes the seal
- 59:23Speaker 2: into the water, you know where they can take it
- 59:26Speaker 2: and play with it for ten minutes before they do anything.
- 59:28Speaker 2: But you have you ever seen them throw them like
- 59:30Speaker 2: a hundred feet?
- 59:31Speaker 18: Yeah, they are.
- 59:34Speaker 2: They're the biggest ones.
- 59:36Speaker 7: They they're replaying the Plant and Earth series on NBC.
- 59:40Speaker 7: You have you seen it? It's just it's amazing.
- 59:42Speaker 2: It is amazing. I gotta tell you, if you ever
- 59:44Speaker 2: want to test out what's your HDTV Like, that's that's
- 59:48Speaker 2: the greatest thing ever and what they were able to document,
- 59:51Speaker 2: and just the years they spend capturing these from insects,
- 59:56Speaker 2: the animals, you name it.
- 59:58Speaker 18: So it's just so it is so true with the
- 1:00:01Speaker 18: planet Earth that when the orca comes on screen, you
- 1:00:05Speaker 18: lock in because you're like, this is where the action
- 1:00:07Speaker 18: is about to go down, and you don't know. Yeah, no,
- 1:00:10Speaker 18: it's it's scared. It's scary.
- 1:00:12Speaker 4: Jim, I still haven't gotten over what is the biggest
- 1:00:14Speaker 4: A hole in the animal kingdom because and because of
- 1:00:17Speaker 4: course that's a subjective term, but I'm still stuck on it.
- 1:00:20Speaker 4: I would like to nominate hippos. Hippos are like the
- 1:00:24Speaker 4: most notorious a hole, right, and they kill a lot
- 1:00:26Speaker 4: of people. Dude, Yeah, they kill a bunch of people.
- 1:00:29Speaker 4: And they're just very territorial. So you're right. You can't
- 1:00:32Speaker 4: even take a drink in their pond.
- 1:00:34Speaker 2: That's their thing. Yeah, that'll run your ass out of
- 1:00:36Speaker 2: They're known to be the most aggressive, get off my
- 1:00:38Speaker 2: yard type of They are the old man from the war.
- 1:00:41Speaker 4: They are Grand Tina, all right. That fills the hippos.
- 1:00:47Speaker 2: They're doing they're doing the finger again, the Eastwood finger,
- 1:00:51Speaker 2: all right, four oh seven nine one four one again
- 1:00:54Speaker 2: you can always text us at seven seven zero three one, Chloe,
- 1:00:57Speaker 2: good scene, you man. I always think, I always think
- 1:00:58Speaker 2: for thank you for hanging up our couple segments.
- 1:01:00Speaker 18: Yes, of course, had a great time.
- 1:01:01Speaker 2: All right, good job, all right for seven nine one?
- 1:01:04Speaker 2: Back in a second with Colbert Court.
- 1:01:12Speaker 11: What's up? Cover and a company?
- 1:01:14Speaker 2: It's concrete, Mike Ross my man, me, you and a kangaroo.
- 1:01:20Speaker 11: Let's do this.
- 1:01:22Speaker 2: Let's all hang out and have a beer together. All right,
- 1:01:27Speaker 2: I'm gotta tell you something I've I've now done this
- 1:01:30Speaker 2: for three decades. I've not heard anything like that before.
- 1:01:37Speaker 2: Let's meet you and a kangaroo, hang out, Grab a beer,
- 1:01:41Speaker 2: Grab a beer. I can't say that. I can't say that.
- 1:01:43Speaker 2: I don't know that a kangaroo can't drink a beer. Fosters.
- 1:01:48Speaker 7: Maybe he's putting forth the idea that the kangaroo may
- 1:01:51Speaker 7: be the biggest a hole animal.
- 1:01:54Speaker 2: Dollar is your fourth like you were D L L
- 1:01:56Speaker 2: A R. Got real radio, dout of him and send
- 1:01:58Speaker 2: that'll wait for your chance in a thousand bucks. Jim
- 1:02:00Speaker 2: deb Jack and Rosser here as well. Let's do co
- 1:02:02Speaker 2: re Court when you are listening to is real?
- 1:02:05Speaker 1: Well sort of the participants are not actors as a fact.
- 1:02:09Speaker 1: This is, however, a real case that will be decided
- 1:02:12Speaker 1: here in our four of them.
- 1:02:15Speaker 2: It's a Colbert Court. That's like Cober Court, brought you
- 1:02:17Speaker 2: by our good friend Glenn Clasman and Closman Law. That's
- 1:02:19Speaker 2: k L A U, S N ME and wal dot
- 1:02:21Speaker 2: com office is right there in winter Park four oh
- 1:02:23Speaker 2: seven nine one seven seventeen eighteen car crash called mister
- 1:02:26Speaker 2: Glenn Clausman. Guys, good laugh for our friend Glenn Clausman.
- 1:02:29Speaker 5: What do you say?
- 1:02:30Speaker 11: Yeah, still claims.
- 1:02:36Speaker 5: I'm here.
- 1:02:37Speaker 2: What's that, Boddy?
- 1:02:38Speaker 5: How you doing doing good? Doing good?
- 1:02:40Speaker 2: Busy day to day? Uhishy day? Yeah, out there saving lives,
- 1:02:44Speaker 2: kissing babies. Oh did you did you have a court today?
- 1:02:47Speaker 2: Did you know?
- 1:02:47Speaker 23: Yeah?
- 1:02:47Speaker 5: Well, it's interesting. I'll go over well. We I had
- 1:02:49Speaker 5: depositions that have taken me all morning and all afternoon
- 1:02:52Speaker 5: until I got in the car and hit it over here.
- 1:02:55Speaker 5: But you know, I wanted to remind you while I'm
- 1:02:57Speaker 5: thinking about it, that we need to uh uh determined
- 1:03:02Speaker 5: title for Maxwell. We need to call him super columns,
- 1:03:06Speaker 5: like super lawyers, super columns, total bad. I need to
- 1:03:10Speaker 5: put that hand.
- 1:03:11Speaker 2: He's so humble He wouldn't even let us, can I
- 1:03:13Speaker 2: tell you truthfully, when we started talking about it, he
- 1:03:15Speaker 2: wouldn't even look into his camera on his on his laptop.
- 1:03:18Speaker 2: He just he's so humble. He will not he has
- 1:03:21Speaker 2: a hard hard time with it. He wouldn't even mention it. Like,
- 1:03:24Speaker 2: had we not mentioned it, it would have never come up.
- 1:03:26Speaker 7: Which which only fuels the desire for Jim and I
- 1:03:29Speaker 7: to mention it.
- 1:03:29Speaker 11: Yeah.
- 1:03:30Speaker 5: Yeah, you need to start calling him super college.
- 1:03:32Speaker 2: Yeah, for sure, I agree with you.
- 1:03:34Speaker 4: Gland dispositions all day really be backbreaking.
- 1:03:37Speaker 11: Sometimes and just.
- 1:03:39Speaker 2: Just I guess that's a lowyer thing.
- 1:03:40Speaker 11: Ye.
- 1:03:41Speaker 2: Yeah, depositions are too You got it, You got it.
- 1:03:46Speaker 2: So you want to tell you what's happened? And yeah, yeah,
- 1:03:48Speaker 2: so you have case. I texted a day to ask
- 1:03:50Speaker 2: you what we were talking about. You said, well, I
- 1:03:51Speaker 2: got this case out of Kennedy's spaceenter I want to
- 1:03:53Speaker 2: talk to you about because it's interesting government property.
- 1:03:56Speaker 5: Yeah, it's not so much where it happened, it's just
- 1:03:58Speaker 5: you know, I kind of a pologized for not coming
- 1:04:01Speaker 5: in with a different case today, but I've been immersed
- 1:04:03Speaker 5: in this one case where we had a deposition today
- 1:04:05Speaker 5: of my client who was injured in a car accident too,
- 1:04:08Speaker 5: by the way on the way out. When he finished
- 1:04:10Speaker 5: the deposition today, he mentioned to me I never talked
- 1:04:12Speaker 5: about his case, so he said he'd be listening today.
- 1:04:17Speaker 5: I said, why don't you call it now. I'm not
- 1:04:18Speaker 5: going to call in, but you know, so he's listening today.
- 1:04:21Speaker 5: But so what happened. So what happens is he gets
- 1:04:23Speaker 5: injured at what is on He's on the job working
- 1:04:26Speaker 5: for a company that's delivering out of Kennedy Space Center
- 1:04:30Speaker 5: and one of the police officers at Kennedy Space Centers
- 1:04:34Speaker 5: not paying attention on a two lane road where he
- 1:04:36Speaker 5: has a stop sign. He's sitting there looking at his
- 1:04:38Speaker 5: personal phone and then he pulls out where my guy's
- 1:04:41Speaker 5: just coming down the road on a four lane road.
- 1:04:44Speaker 2: And real quick, let me say, because you say just
- 1:04:45Speaker 2: pulling out. But we've talked about this before. What he
- 1:04:47Speaker 2: was doing is he was on his phone. Then when
- 1:04:49Speaker 2: he looked up and realized that people were waiting on him,
- 1:04:52Speaker 2: he'd been there for a few minutes, he punches it
- 1:04:54Speaker 2: to going to there because he thinks he's holding everybody up.
- 1:04:57Speaker 2: So I had that d jerk reaction to punch it
- 1:04:59Speaker 2: and he goes out into the intersection.
- 1:05:00Speaker 5: That's that's the way we understand what happened from the
- 1:05:02Speaker 5: witness that was behind it. But of course when I
- 1:05:04Speaker 5: took his deposition this after and he said, no, no,
- 1:05:06Speaker 5: I just like rolled out, you know. But if you
- 1:05:09Speaker 5: look at the damage to the vehicles, where the front
- 1:05:12Speaker 5: of his vehicle collides the driver's front corner of his
- 1:05:16Speaker 5: vehicle collides with the passenger side front of our client's vehicle,
- 1:05:20Speaker 5: because our guy kind of tried to swerve to get
- 1:05:22Speaker 5: out of the way when this guy's coming right out
- 1:05:24Speaker 5: of them.
- 1:05:25Speaker 3: So this is a security officer or is this law enforcement?
- 1:05:27Speaker 5: This is a security officer at Kennedy Space Center. So
- 1:05:30Speaker 5: but that's not really the issue. The issue I wanted
- 1:05:32Speaker 5: to talk about was, you know, even though everything's open
- 1:05:36Speaker 5: and shut, the other side wants to argue about something.
- 1:05:39Speaker 5: So they argue about damages and how bad the person's hurt,
- 1:05:42Speaker 5: and really are his injuries from the accident or his
- 1:05:45Speaker 5: injuries from something that was before the accident. How old
- 1:05:48Speaker 5: is this gentleman, he's probably fifty two, fifty three y yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah,
- 1:05:54Speaker 5: And I mean, you know, so deposition today, they talk
- 1:05:57Speaker 5: about oh, nineteen sixty nine, you had well that's maybe
- 1:06:01Speaker 5: the year was nineteen ninety, nineteen ninety had a bad
- 1:06:04Speaker 5: car accident nineteen ninety, but you know you didn't had
- 1:06:07Speaker 5: the same injury. And we're talking for twenty minutes about
- 1:06:10Speaker 5: this car accident he had in nineteen ninety. So, when
- 1:06:13Speaker 5: you get into a lawsuit because the other side won't
- 1:06:15Speaker 5: pay what's fair on acclaim, a deposition gets taken to
- 1:06:18Speaker 5: the injured party, and for two three hours this morning
- 1:06:23Speaker 5: they went over this guy. Your life becomes an open book. Yeah,
- 1:06:27Speaker 5: and you sit there with him while they're getting to pay. Yes, yes, yes,
- 1:06:30Speaker 5: I sit there with him and to prepare I mean,
- 1:06:33Speaker 5: I left my office a little early yesterday, went home,
- 1:06:36Speaker 5: took the entire file with me that you know, several
- 1:06:40Speaker 5: feet in size, and go through every single page because
- 1:06:43Speaker 5: I got to prepare the client for his deposition. We
- 1:06:46Speaker 5: also send him all his medical records and what he's
- 1:06:49Speaker 5: answered so far in questions on the other side is
- 1:06:53Speaker 5: sent to him, so he's on top of everything, and
- 1:06:55Speaker 5: I've got to be on top of everything. And then
- 1:06:57Speaker 5: I meet with him beforehand for as long as we
- 1:06:59Speaker 5: need to prepare him completely for the deposition, right, all
- 1:07:02Speaker 5: the question is going to be answered, and then the
- 1:07:04Speaker 5: deposition starts and it takes, you know, two three hours,
- 1:07:07Speaker 5: and then are they aggressive? Now the lawyer was a
- 1:07:10Speaker 5: decent lawyer, you know. But you know, the problem we've
- 1:07:14Speaker 5: had with this this situation is the adjuster evaluating the
- 1:07:17Speaker 5: case doesn't quite get it because they're always looking for
- 1:07:21Speaker 5: a way to minimize what they have to pay. And
- 1:07:23Speaker 5: in this particular case, the injury, the main injury, is
- 1:07:27Speaker 5: an injury to the fellow's wrist is in his hand.
- 1:07:30Speaker 5: Where in your wrist you have at the base of
- 1:07:34Speaker 5: the palm, there's several bones that are connected with the ligament,
- 1:07:36Speaker 5: and the ligament got torn in the crash. The way
- 1:07:39Speaker 5: the crash happened.
- 1:07:40Speaker 2: And you're saying that when what he tried to do
- 1:07:42Speaker 2: is when he saw the officer coming at him, he
- 1:07:44Speaker 2: tried to jerk the steering wheel real quick. And he's
- 1:07:46Speaker 2: saying that the steering will jerk back because of the
- 1:07:49Speaker 2: impact and stuff, and that's what hurt his wrists. Absolutely, absolutely,
- 1:07:53Speaker 2: you're holding your wheel with the left wrist.
- 1:07:55Speaker 5: I thought about it. I really haven't given that much slought.
- 1:07:57Speaker 5: But he said, I drive with my left hand on
- 1:07:58Speaker 5: the wheel all the time, and I think I do
- 1:08:00Speaker 5: the same thing. Sure, I got my right hand put
- 1:08:02Speaker 5: you know, doing something else with the right hand. Of course,
- 1:08:04Speaker 5: I don't have to use the radio because I got
- 1:08:06Speaker 5: preset number one one or four point one. I want
- 1:08:11Speaker 5: to change it to something else I got to do
- 1:08:12Speaker 5: with my right hand. Uh So, anyway, that's what happens,
- 1:08:16Speaker 5: and he starts going to doctors under work comp, and
- 1:08:19Speaker 5: work comp is a terrible system because it pays so
- 1:08:22Speaker 5: little to doctors that some of your best doctors and
- 1:08:25Speaker 5: your good doctors don't want to see people on the
- 1:08:26Speaker 5: work comp because they're not getting paid what's fair.
- 1:08:29Speaker 2: And then, not to mention, you don't want to file
- 1:08:31Speaker 2: work comp because of your employer.
- 1:08:33Speaker 5: That's exactly right, that's exactly right. Well, but you have
- 1:08:36Speaker 5: to file it if you're injured it well on the job,
- 1:08:38Speaker 5: so you have to file it. But then when the
- 1:08:40Speaker 5: work comp adjuster, who's not associated with your company, they're
- 1:08:43Speaker 5: with the insurance company that ensures you under work comp
- 1:08:47Speaker 5: ensures the employer under work comp when they cut you off,
- 1:08:50Speaker 5: they cut the spell off for no reason. And what
- 1:08:53Speaker 5: he needed to do at that point is get a lawyer.
- 1:08:54Speaker 5: And challenge the work comp cut off, but he didn't
- 1:08:56Speaker 5: want to do that because he's afraid that the employer
- 1:08:59Speaker 5: would not like that.
- 1:09:00Speaker 2: They gave him no warning at all, no warning, just
- 1:09:02Speaker 2: cut him off. So then why did they even start
- 1:09:04Speaker 2: paying him?
- 1:09:04Speaker 5: Well, they started paying him because he got injured on
- 1:09:06Speaker 5: the job and he started going to doctors. But one
- 1:09:09Speaker 5: of the things that came up was during the course
- 1:09:12Speaker 5: of him treating with the day, he goes to the
- 1:09:14Speaker 5: hospital first, then he goes to the doctor hospital refers
- 1:09:17Speaker 5: him to and oh, by the way, it took three
- 1:09:19Speaker 5: weeks to get in because you have to get warcomp
- 1:09:21Speaker 5: to agree to set up the appointment, so it took
- 1:09:24Speaker 5: three weeks from from the from the hospital to get in.
- 1:09:26Speaker 5: He finally gets in and they start looking at him.
- 1:09:29Speaker 5: They do X ray as well, it looks like arthritis
- 1:09:31Speaker 5: in the wrist. Well, the arthritis in the risk is
- 1:09:33Speaker 5: not what he was having symptoms from because he didn't
- 1:09:35Speaker 5: have any symptoms before this crash. But the more COMBA
- 1:09:38Speaker 5: justice is, oh, arthritis in the wrist, Well, we're not
- 1:09:40Speaker 5: going to pay for this, so they cut him off.
- 1:09:43Speaker 5: So then he fortunately he has health insurance, so he
- 1:09:46Speaker 5: starts going to doctors in the health insurance. And finally
- 1:09:50Speaker 5: then he still has the pace of the deductibles.
- 1:09:52Speaker 2: Everything comes from using his health and he would but
- 1:09:54Speaker 2: he's got great health insurance without deductive which is wonderful.
- 1:09:57Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:09:57Speaker 2: Every man has arthritis.
- 1:09:59Speaker 5: Yeah yeah, And you know this is something insurance adjusters do.
- 1:10:03Speaker 5: They if they see something that they think they can
- 1:10:05Speaker 5: hang their hat on, whether it's right or wrong. If
- 1:10:07Speaker 5: they got an argument, they do it. And that's what
- 1:10:09Speaker 5: happened here. So there when we try to get this
- 1:10:12Speaker 5: case settled, even after the fellow had to have surgery,
- 1:10:15Speaker 5: what happened happened is because he tore a ligament that
- 1:10:17Speaker 5: holds these bones together. He had to have surgery and
- 1:10:20Speaker 5: they couldn't use his hand. Stiffness, he couldn't get fisted anymore,
- 1:10:23Speaker 5: lack of grip strength.
- 1:10:24Speaker 2: Yeah, it's pain.
- 1:10:27Speaker 11: Yeah.
- 1:10:27Speaker 2: Oh well it's his left hid Yeah. The stranger. Yeah,
- 1:10:32Speaker 2: it's it's the stranger baby. Yeah. So so anyway, yeah,
- 1:10:37Speaker 2: butou't even missing a beat.
- 1:10:39Speaker 5: So anyway, that what happened. He had pain. He continued
- 1:10:43Speaker 5: to have pain because it was a painful situation. So
- 1:10:45Speaker 5: finally he gets an MRI and the MRI I conclusively
- 1:10:48Speaker 5: shows what happens. They have to take the bones out
- 1:10:50Speaker 5: of the bottom of the wrist to open it up.
- 1:10:52Speaker 5: That does not sound like a cheap surgery. No, no, no,
- 1:10:55Speaker 5: but you know under health insurance they don't pay much
- 1:10:57Speaker 5: for it. So and he had a great doctor and
- 1:11:00Speaker 5: uh so you know, the work the adjuster for the
- 1:11:04Speaker 5: at fault, folks is still harping on, well, it's arthritis
- 1:11:08Speaker 5: and this and.
- 1:11:08Speaker 2: That, even after the surgery, even after the doctor said
- 1:11:11Speaker 2: with the MRI that they saw that it was definitely
- 1:11:13Speaker 2: not arthritis, they're still trying to do that.
- 1:11:16Speaker 5: Yeah, even after the surgery, because even after the surgery,
- 1:11:19Speaker 5: because there's arth there was arthritis there. Yeah, but the
- 1:11:22Speaker 5: arthritis was not causing symptoms. That is the key stupid question.
- 1:11:25Speaker 5: Can you sue workers comp? You can sue workers comp.
- 1:11:28Speaker 5: But you know the problem is when you sue your
- 1:11:30Speaker 5: work comp carrier, sometimes even though they're not supposed to,
- 1:11:33Speaker 5: the employer finds a way to get rid of you. Really,
- 1:11:36Speaker 5: especially in this state, right, especially in this state, you know,
- 1:11:39Speaker 5: and then and then what do you do?
- 1:11:40Speaker 2: So what happens, because this guy has to have his
- 1:11:43Speaker 2: life back, because his life right now is you know,
- 1:11:46Speaker 2: and possibly even his job. He's a professional driver, has
- 1:11:48Speaker 2: to drive professionally. He drives all over the precere, so
- 1:11:51Speaker 2: he has to have a hand strength. He delivers things,
- 1:11:54Speaker 2: so he has to have that strength. So he goes
- 1:11:56Speaker 2: through all the process. He's paying for all this with
- 1:11:58Speaker 2: his health insurance. With his health insurance. We're compaid the
- 1:12:01Speaker 2: initial bills. Now it's health insurance. So the health insurance
- 1:12:03Speaker 2: company will actually wind up going back after workers comp
- 1:12:06Speaker 2: to replace all this money.
- 1:12:08Speaker 5: No, what happens is this is the health insurance. After
- 1:12:12Speaker 5: we finally get a recovery for him, the health insurance
- 1:12:14Speaker 5: has got to be paid back the amount of money
- 1:12:15Speaker 5: they've paid, but will negotiate them to pay back less
- 1:12:18Speaker 5: because our client has to pay a percentage for attorney fees,
- 1:12:21Speaker 5: so the health insurance should reduce those by that same
- 1:12:24Speaker 5: percentage to get their money.
- 1:12:25Speaker 2: I've heard one thing about the insurance from the person
- 1:12:27Speaker 2: who caused this car.
- 1:12:28Speaker 5: We haven't settled yet. I mean, I don't know if
- 1:12:31Speaker 5: we will settle it. We may have to go to
- 1:12:32Speaker 5: trial and see what a jury designs on this case.
- 1:12:34Speaker 5: But yeah, that at fault party's insurance company will end
- 1:12:39Speaker 5: up paying some money on this case. And then from there,
- 1:12:42Speaker 5: we have to pay work comp back for what work
- 1:12:46Speaker 5: comp is paid, even though work comp was jerks to
- 1:12:49Speaker 5: the guy, but the system is you got to pay
- 1:12:52Speaker 5: them back. So yeah, I mean, there's there's a lot
- 1:12:55Speaker 5: going on here, but you know, it's just uh, it
- 1:12:59Speaker 5: took a lot of time. Today we got to a
- 1:13:00Speaker 5: good point where I think that there's a lawyer on
- 1:13:02Speaker 5: the other side that now understands what really is going
- 1:13:05Speaker 5: on here. Hopefully they can convey that to the insurance
- 1:13:08Speaker 5: company who hired this lawyer. Some insurance companies will listen
- 1:13:11Speaker 5: to the lawyer and we may be able to get
- 1:13:13Speaker 5: the casers all favorably.
- 1:13:15Speaker 2: When did this happen. This happened back in twenty four Oh,
- 1:13:18Speaker 2: my goodness. Has this been going on a couple of years?
- 1:13:20Speaker 2: Couple of Yeah, it's going on about two and a
- 1:13:23Speaker 2: half years. Well wow, I mean, so he got lucky
- 1:13:25Speaker 2: to get the surgery and his hand is fine. Now
- 1:13:27Speaker 2: I assume he's still has no, it's.
- 1:13:28Speaker 5: Sam's not fine. I mean he's got about fifty percent
- 1:13:32Speaker 5: of the strength he had before. Yeah, he still has
- 1:13:36Speaker 5: some pain. He still has well, he's developed something called
- 1:13:38Speaker 5: the trigger finger where you're yes, oh, it sucks. But
- 1:13:41Speaker 5: a pinky can lock up on your eyes sucks.
- 1:13:43Speaker 2: When I went to snowmobiling, they tell you be careful
- 1:13:45Speaker 2: you're going to get what they call plunge your thumb
- 1:13:48Speaker 2: or or or whatever, because when you ride a snowmobile,
- 1:13:52Speaker 2: it's not like a motorcycle or you're twisting the thing
- 1:13:54Speaker 2: like you know, you're reving it up like that. It's
- 1:13:56Speaker 2: a toggle switch that you run with your thumb, like
- 1:13:58Speaker 2: the old ATVs.
- 1:13:59Speaker 5: Right, okay.
- 1:14:00Speaker 2: And the thing is when you're rolling through that thing
- 1:14:02Speaker 2: and you have it completely that when you get done,
- 1:14:04Speaker 2: your thumb will stick in one place and it will
- 1:14:06Speaker 2: not move. So it sucks. You can't use it at all.
- 1:14:10Speaker 2: There's nothing you can do to make it stop either. Yeah.
- 1:14:14Speaker 2: Oh yeah, it took me. It took our mind three
- 1:14:16Speaker 2: days ago away.
- 1:14:16Speaker 4: All those hand and finger conundrums are always like, oh man,
- 1:14:20Speaker 4: I got goose thumb.
- 1:14:21Speaker 2: Yeahah god wind dicks in dicks supper thumbs yeah, cut names. So,
- 1:14:27Speaker 2: ok So I find this interesting. So is this guy
- 1:14:30Speaker 2: out of pocket? He's not out of pocket. I mean
- 1:14:32Speaker 2: you had to buy a wrist blints for a while.
- 1:14:35Speaker 2: That other he's not out of pocket, thank goodness, because
- 1:14:37Speaker 2: he had work, company, had health insurance.
- 1:14:39Speaker 5: It's not out of pocket.
- 1:14:40Speaker 2: When we talk about these crash cases, a lot will
- 1:14:42Speaker 2: also ask about how I mean, you know, if it's
- 1:14:45Speaker 2: a mom, they just had kids, there is a lifetime
- 1:14:48Speaker 2: pain and suffering kind of thing. This guy can prove
- 1:14:50Speaker 2: now that after this crash he only has fifty percent
- 1:14:53Speaker 2: use of this hand, Well, will there be compensation for
- 1:14:56Speaker 2: his his loss of ability?
- 1:14:59Speaker 5: And that's the you know, the hard part is I
- 1:15:02Speaker 5: always try to put myself in my client's shoes if
- 1:15:05Speaker 5: this were me, how would I best articulate all the
- 1:15:08Speaker 5: ways that this is hurting me? All the ways is
- 1:15:11Speaker 5: this has adversely affected my life? And I discussed that
- 1:15:13Speaker 5: with him before his deposition so that he can make
- 1:15:15Speaker 5: that clear when he's asked those questions during his deposition.
- 1:15:18Speaker 5: But then the harder part is trying to figure out
- 1:15:21Speaker 5: what's fair compensation for it? I mean. And the good
- 1:15:23Speaker 5: thing here is we have pretty much unlimited amount of
- 1:15:26Speaker 5: insurance available because of the company that we're going after,
- 1:15:29Speaker 5: so that you know, the question is going to be,
- 1:15:31Speaker 5: what's this case worth to fairly compensate him at a
- 1:15:34Speaker 5: level where he'll say, yes, I'll accept that amount of money.
- 1:15:37Speaker 5: Versus I'll go to trial and see what a Jerry
- 1:15:38Speaker 5: wants to do.
- 1:15:39Speaker 2: Can you talk about how much that would be?
- 1:15:41Speaker 5: It's hard to tell at this point, because you know,
- 1:15:43Speaker 5: I still have to have a conference with his surgeon
- 1:15:45Speaker 5: to find out what the future holds for him. Is
- 1:15:47Speaker 5: he going to get better, he's not going to get better.
- 1:15:49Speaker 5: Is it potentially going to need more surgery? What's going
- 1:15:51Speaker 5: to happen with the trigger finger? These types of things?
- 1:15:54Speaker 2: And you have one shot, right, like one shot in
- 1:15:56Speaker 2: eminem you got one shot right if you if once
- 1:16:00Speaker 2: you get this money and he signs off on this money,
- 1:16:02Speaker 2: he cannot go back. Correct, that's correct.
- 1:16:04Speaker 5: He signs what's called a release that releases the other
- 1:16:07Speaker 5: side from ever having to pay another penny for it.
- 1:16:10Speaker 5: And once that's done, it's done. Once it's done, it's done.
- 1:16:12Speaker 5: So you got to make sure you're getting something fair.
- 1:16:15Speaker 7: And yeah, a lawyer who does not like to deal
- 1:16:20Speaker 7: with so much of the details just create a number.
- 1:16:24Speaker 2: But whereas you are.
- 1:16:26Speaker 7: Interviewing his surgeon to see you like, how much medical
- 1:16:30Speaker 7: you know that's a great question, you know, effort, he's
- 1:16:33Speaker 7: going to need it moving forward?
- 1:16:35Speaker 5: Yeah, you know, in this particular situation because unlimited money,
- 1:16:39Speaker 5: the other side has to pay the claim. You need
- 1:16:43Speaker 5: to leave no stone unturned and and that's what I'm
- 1:16:46Speaker 5: That's what I'm doing. There's some situations where it's very
- 1:16:49Speaker 5: limited insurance. You know what's worth every penny of the insurance,
- 1:16:52Speaker 5: and you don't have to do so much extra work
- 1:16:54Speaker 5: to get the other side to pay every penny of
- 1:16:56Speaker 5: insurances that is there. So there is a difference there.
- 1:16:59Speaker 5: But yeah, I would not want to have a situation
- 1:17:02Speaker 5: where I'm injured very badly and there's lots of money
- 1:17:05Speaker 5: to pay for my injuries and the lay that I
- 1:17:07Speaker 5: hired isn't working hard enough to get it.
- 1:17:09Speaker 2: Do judges get pissed off when they see cases that
- 1:17:11Speaker 2: have been dragging on for this long and they and
- 1:17:14Speaker 2: they look at one or the other side of this
- 1:17:16Speaker 2: of the equation that it's obvious they're trying to drag
- 1:17:19Speaker 2: this out. Do judges get pissed off and then take
- 1:17:21Speaker 2: that out on those attorneys or or that side occasionally, well,
- 1:17:24Speaker 2: you know they I know they're not supposed to.
- 1:17:26Speaker 5: This is not one of those situations where that would
- 1:17:28Speaker 5: happen because he wasn't able to get the surgery till
- 1:17:31Speaker 5: the end of twenty twenty five because of all the
- 1:17:32Speaker 5: stuff that had gone on in between. And then you
- 1:17:35Speaker 5: try to settle a case, you can't get it settled,
- 1:17:37Speaker 5: then you file your lawsuit. We foiled this beginning of
- 1:17:39Speaker 5: twenty twenty six.
- 1:17:40Speaker 2: But that's kind of my point, though, Glenn, the guy
- 1:17:42Speaker 2: went a year with a risk that he basically could
- 1:17:45Speaker 2: not use. I mean that has value. It's a year,
- 1:17:47Speaker 2: a year of a guy's life who's already in his fifties.
- 1:17:50Speaker 5: It's more than a year, much more than a year.
- 1:17:52Speaker 5: But as far as judges getting upset, what we have
- 1:17:54Speaker 5: in this state is the Supreme Court of Florida has
- 1:17:57Speaker 5: said they want judges to get rid of cases within
- 1:17:59Speaker 5: two years one lawsuits file, and it becomes very difficult
- 1:18:02Speaker 5: when when the legislature does not appropriate enough money to
- 1:18:06Speaker 5: have enough judges to get it done. So the judges
- 1:18:08Speaker 5: doctors get very, very swollen, and there's just no way
- 1:18:11Speaker 5: they take these cases settle in two years. So when
- 1:18:14Speaker 5: you start having a case that's three years old, four
- 1:18:15Speaker 5: years old, that's still hanging around, the judges are wanting
- 1:18:18Speaker 5: to push those cases to get rid of them. And
- 1:18:20Speaker 5: it's just a situation where you know, there's just not
- 1:18:23Speaker 5: enough money been funded to the court system to have
- 1:18:25Speaker 5: enough judges to handle all these cases, and there's just
- 1:18:28Speaker 5: so many cases coming into the system because there are
- 1:18:30Speaker 5: so many problems we have with accidents and everything else.
- 1:18:34Speaker 2: One of the many reasons you need to call Glenn
- 1:18:36Speaker 2: is this very thing right here. He fights hard, fights
- 1:18:38Speaker 2: hard for this guy here. He'll fight hard for you
- 1:18:39Speaker 2: as well. Four oh seven nine seven seventeen eighteen. If
- 1:18:42Speaker 2: you call that phone number nine times out of ten,
- 1:18:45Speaker 2: my man's going to pick up. If he's not in
- 1:18:46Speaker 2: a deposition and he's not doing something in the court,
- 1:18:48Speaker 2: he's going to pick up your phone and he's going
- 1:18:50Speaker 2: to talk to you about your case. This is exactly
- 1:18:52Speaker 2: what happens all the time. He's here to help super law,
- 1:18:54Speaker 2: your legal elite. He's the man. Thanks or I'll call back. Yeah, yeah,
- 1:18:58Speaker 2: there are times when I am busy. I got call back.
- 1:19:02Speaker 2: Her hair's getting long. There for Christmas, baby, Christmas July
- 1:19:06Speaker 2: loud here goosbindloon dot com. I was continued by Christina

- 1:19:16Speaker 2: Got a five o'clock keyword for you. Right after this
- 1:19:18Speaker 2: and the question. We'll do that next.
- 1:19:24Speaker 9: Well, it's dead.
- 1:19:25Speaker 3: Your look on your face to Ross was priceless. You
- 1:19:29Speaker 3: look like a mother scorn on her child. For sure,
- 1:19:32Speaker 3: work go girl.
- 1:19:36Speaker 2: Dick, Hey, Covert and crew.
- 1:19:37Speaker 18: It's yesterday's grand in your hand, winner Melissa listeners, put
- 1:19:42Speaker 18: in that keyword and answer your phone. You could be
- 1:19:44Speaker 18: a winner too.
- 1:19:45Speaker 11: Whoa loa you telling us that?
- 1:19:49Speaker 2: Congratulations for four o'clock winter from yesterday. Melissa takes home
- 1:19:53Speaker 2: a thousand dollars. She gave you the good advice if
- 1:19:56Speaker 2: you're playing the game, keep your phone near you and
- 1:19:58Speaker 2: answer it when they call, because if you're playing this game,
- 1:20:01Speaker 2: you may get a crazy phone call from a number
- 1:20:03Speaker 2: you do not recognize.
- 1:20:05Speaker 3: The good thing is you only have to wait an hour.
- 1:20:07Speaker 7: Yeah, I might say call restricted or no caller idea.
- 1:20:10Speaker 7: We don't know Melissa, No, yes, she does. I'm speaking
- 1:20:13Speaker 7: of that. Bank is your five o'clock keyword, that's B
- 1:20:16Speaker 7: A n K. Go to real radio out of him
- 1:20:18Speaker 7: and send that away for your chance at a thousand bucks.
- 1:20:20Speaker 7: Bank is the word, guys.
- 1:20:21Speaker 2: Go get it. Jim, there's dead Hello and Ross as well.
- 1:20:25Speaker 3: Who's in a timeout?
- 1:20:27Speaker 2: You are in timeout? No, I said Mud pinky. Yeah twice.
- 1:20:32Speaker 4: You keep saying it, buddy, but about him? Stuck, you
- 1:20:36Speaker 4: keep saying it. I can't talk about it anymore.
- 1:20:38Speaker 3: Stuck in the mud.
- 1:20:44Speaker 2: I just went to the bathroom with Ross. Okay, is
- 1:20:48Speaker 2: that how you get my spinky? I'll just say this
- 1:20:52Speaker 2: same stall. We just actually wound up in the bathroom
- 1:20:58Speaker 2: together and he was telling me that very thing is depth.
- 1:21:00Speaker 2: Just gave me a look, and I swear to god,
- 1:21:01Speaker 2: I think it cut my head off.
- 1:21:03Speaker 4: I was laughing so hard, oh no, that I had
- 1:21:06Speaker 4: to get off the damn camera as.
- 1:21:09Speaker 6: Soon as he looked up and he saw me looking
- 1:21:11Speaker 6: over it, and it just started him over all over again.
- 1:21:14Speaker 2: So it's funny, fun my My stupid foot had been
- 1:21:18Speaker 2: sore for like the last two years. Have no idea
- 1:21:21Speaker 2: what happened. Just out of nowhere, my foot started hurting right.
- 1:21:24Speaker 7: Well, that new pain and it's scary, A gift of
- 1:21:29Speaker 7: your fifties.
- 1:21:30Speaker 2: Yeah, it's not gout. And the funny thing is I
- 1:21:34Speaker 2: looked up gout and it wasn't gout because gout is
- 1:21:36Speaker 2: almost always well. It is always accompanied by swelling, severe
- 1:21:41Speaker 2: swelling and redness, and you can't touch it like to
- 1:21:43Speaker 2: the to the touch, the weight of a sheet. Apparently,
- 1:21:47Speaker 2: if you have gout, is it must we be stabbing
- 1:21:50Speaker 2: you with a pitchwork.
- 1:21:51Speaker 6: They call that the rich man's disease because it comes
- 1:21:53Speaker 6: from rich sauces.
- 1:21:54Speaker 2: Yeah yeah, yeah, lots of red meat and things of
- 1:21:56Speaker 2: that nature. Right, So I did not have that. I
- 1:21:58Speaker 2: don't know what it was, but yes, it finally went away,
- 1:22:03Speaker 2: the greatest thing ever. And then today I'm sitting in
- 1:22:07Speaker 2: my studio. I get a knock at the door. My
- 1:22:09Speaker 2: dog goes crazy, and I jump up to go out there.
- 1:22:12Speaker 2: And when I say stump my toe, it is not
- 1:22:15Speaker 2: a stump my toe. I basically run kicked my couches
- 1:22:20Speaker 2: little uh uh you know what the foot of my couch,
- 1:22:24Speaker 2: which is solid walnut.
- 1:22:25Speaker 7: By the way, how many curses or how loud were
- 1:22:29Speaker 7: the curse?
- 1:22:29Speaker 6: Oh wait, yeah, answer that, because then I have another
- 1:22:32Speaker 6: very important question.
- 1:22:33Speaker 2: Well, now it's getting way worse. Like this morning, it
- 1:22:36Speaker 2: wasn't that bad. I'm like, oh that sucks and it hurt,
- 1:22:38Speaker 2: no question, but I was I had other things in
- 1:22:41Speaker 2: my mind, so I was able to kind of compartmentalize
- 1:22:43Speaker 2: that and go, okay, well that's fine, but I know,
- 1:22:46Speaker 2: little toe the worst one, the little piggy, Yeah, the
- 1:22:48Speaker 2: little right pig. So as the morning kept going on,
- 1:22:53Speaker 2: I was like, it's getting way worse. And then I
- 1:22:55Speaker 2: looked at it right before I put my sock and
- 1:22:57Speaker 2: shoe on today and it was I mean, it's swollen.
- 1:23:01Speaker 2: So I'm like, okay, well it'll be fine. I've stuck
- 1:23:03Speaker 2: my toe before. So I just go to the bathroom
- 1:23:05Speaker 2: with ross same stall and as we're that music, as
- 1:23:10Speaker 2: I'm coming back, I'm like, this hurts like bad, like
- 1:23:13Speaker 2: it's bad.
- 1:23:14Speaker 3: You think you broke it.
- 1:23:15Speaker 2: I think there's a possibility I broke my little toe.
- 1:23:17Speaker 2: Yes this morning, she's.
- 1:23:20Speaker 6: What you need ice, And I'd be yeah, that's all
- 1:23:22Speaker 6: they can do, right for a broken toe?
- 1:23:24Speaker 2: It is And I learned that the expensive way. If
- 1:23:27Speaker 2: my wife is gonna make me like want to wear
- 1:23:28Speaker 2: that boot, but I ain't wearing that boot. You don't
- 1:23:30Speaker 2: need the boot, yeah yeah, yeah, you got to wear
- 1:23:32Speaker 2: the boot. Don't wear the boot. Don't you wrap your
- 1:23:35Speaker 2: like that all your toes up and like uh, some
- 1:23:38Speaker 2: gauze or some coaches tape or something not going anywhere.
- 1:23:41Speaker 2: You just put it in the sock. Shock is going
- 1:23:43Speaker 2: to keep it together.
- 1:23:44Speaker 3: The color is your toe.
- 1:23:45Speaker 2: Yeah, dude, a purple foot sheet. I haven't. I haven't
- 1:23:48Speaker 2: show the camera. I haven't.
- 1:23:49Speaker 3: Yeah, Jack, get in here with this with the stream
- 1:23:51Speaker 3: on your.
- 1:23:52Speaker 2: My shoe off and showing the audience my toes. I
- 1:23:54Speaker 2: don't want to be that close to his naked foot.
- 1:23:56Speaker 3: Let's take back on what color it is?
- 1:23:58Speaker 2: I go first.
- 1:23:59Speaker 6: I'm gonna call it a black bean. Can you imagine
- 1:24:02Speaker 6: the smell it represents? Look, dude, I gotta tell you,
- 1:24:05Speaker 6: does his feet stink?
- 1:24:06Speaker 2: Look my detergent, My detergent has wiped out all possibility
- 1:24:10Speaker 2: of smell. I got a compliment getting blood yesterday. Lady's like,
- 1:24:13Speaker 2: what are you wearing? Or is that your laundry detergent.
- 1:24:15Speaker 2: I'm like, it's a detergent.
- 1:24:18Speaker 6: And you know you're adulting when you're excited that your
- 1:24:20Speaker 6: laundry detergent got to compliment.
- 1:24:22Speaker 2: Which costs as much as cologne. I know exactly. Dude. Yeah,
- 1:24:25Speaker 2: let's see that dog.
- 1:24:26Speaker 6: Okay, he's taking Okay, let's go for a little dog walk.
- 1:24:29Speaker 6: So what color do you guys think?
- 1:24:31Speaker 4: Oh God, I mean I think it's going to be
- 1:24:34Speaker 4: like a like the color purple. Oh I like that,
- 1:24:37Speaker 4: I'm talking. Yeah, I'm talking about the hue, not jet.
- 1:24:41Speaker 4: The story is black. Oh dude, this thing's about to
- 1:24:45Speaker 4: get canceled and do that.
- 1:24:48Speaker 2: You can't go.
- 1:24:48Speaker 3: Black toe whipping around this side? So I can wait.
- 1:24:51Speaker 2: What if it is? What if one side of it
- 1:24:53Speaker 2: is black? Here?
- 1:24:55Speaker 3: Bring it over here.
- 1:24:56Speaker 2: It's okay, You're all right.
- 1:24:58Speaker 4: I've got plenty of friends like that is so statistically,
- 1:25:01Speaker 4: that's not that bad.
- 1:25:02Speaker 2: That's a big baby and there's nothing they can do
- 1:25:05Speaker 2: about it. It looks absolutely purple right there.
- 1:25:07Speaker 3: There's a big long hair hanging off the end of
- 1:25:09Speaker 3: the day.
- 1:25:10Speaker 2: That is nothing that come on. That's gross. Almighty dude.
- 1:25:14Speaker 5: I keep my shoe off.
- 1:25:19Speaker 4: I mean, it's gonna be hard for your toe to
- 1:25:21Speaker 4: you know, find its community.
- 1:25:22Speaker 2: But it's gonna. Yeah, black toes matter, Yeah, muddy toe
- 1:25:29Speaker 2: ten percent of your toes or you know it hurt.
- 1:25:32Speaker 2: It is not good though, anyway. Four seven nine four
- 1:25:35Speaker 2: one text us seven seven zero three one.
- 1:25:37Speaker 11: Yes?
- 1:25:37Speaker 2: Are you in pain right now? Yes? It hurts?
- 1:25:39Speaker 3: Would you like an advil?
- 1:25:40Speaker 2: No? I'm fine. There it goes.
- 1:25:43Speaker 7: Sometimes you want to talk to the cholesterol six hundred satin.
- 1:25:47Speaker 2: Fine, don't under you, guys, don't understand it. Sometimes when
- 1:25:51Speaker 2: you're a man, you just have to man it out.
- 1:25:56Speaker 2: Everybody knows. Everybody knows that sometimes when you are a man,
- 1:26:01Speaker 2: you just got to man it out because because sometimes
- 1:26:05Speaker 2: you just gotta do that. It's for being tough. Jack.
- 1:26:08Speaker 4: Well, the reason can't be the answer of why what exactly?
- 1:26:13Speaker 4: That's it you're saying. It's like you gotta man it out?
- 1:26:15Speaker 11: Why?
- 1:26:16Speaker 2: Because sometimes you gotta man it out. Sometimes you just
- 1:26:19Speaker 2: gotta rub some dirt on it and take the pain.
- 1:26:21Speaker 2: That's how you build up that resilience. That's how you
- 1:26:22Speaker 2: become like tough. Yeah, but dude, you're not going out
- 1:26:25Speaker 2: for a baseball team. No, I'm not. So do you
- 1:26:28Speaker 2: think you're not tough enough?
- 1:26:30Speaker 6: No?
- 1:26:30Speaker 11: I don't.
- 1:26:30Speaker 2: I mean, I look, no, I don't even know how
- 1:26:33Speaker 2: to answer that.
- 1:26:36Speaker 5: Oh, I know.
- 1:26:36Speaker 2: Is it feels better about that?
- 1:26:37Speaker 6: That's breathe Yeah, fine, I might be sitting in there
- 1:26:42Speaker 6: with you guys there.
- 1:26:46Speaker 2: It's fine. You get sit on my lap and take
- 1:26:48Speaker 2: the same stall pinky segments. Just callback we haven't heard
- 1:27:00Speaker 2: any of the show before that. You are absolutely lost
- 1:27:03Speaker 2: right now?
- 1:27:03Speaker 7: Hey, what someone sees is today's podcast next Stiffness and
- 1:27:07Speaker 7: mud Prinking?
- 1:27:13Speaker 2: All right, I have a question. And we only got
- 1:27:16Speaker 2: a few minutes here because of my toe is like
- 1:27:17Speaker 2: my toe is like pants out right now, my toe
- 1:27:19Speaker 2: is freeballing. Is it math?
- 1:27:22Speaker 24: No?
- 1:27:22Speaker 2: No, no, it's not math. So you guys know who
- 1:27:25Speaker 2: Nick Offerman is, right, I love him. Parks and Rec.
- 1:27:27Speaker 2: Very funny guy. Right, the number of other projects as well.
- 1:27:31Speaker 11: Uh.
- 1:27:31Speaker 2: He was doing an interview about Parks and Rec and
- 1:27:33Speaker 2: he said something today and I just want to ask
- 1:27:34Speaker 2: a quick question. I guess it could go over to
- 1:27:36Speaker 2: the next segment, but I do have something for that
- 1:27:38Speaker 2: as well. And he says that there was an actor
- 1:27:41Speaker 2: on the show who was an a hole. All right now,
- 1:27:45Speaker 2: It said the person who he's talking about was kind
- 1:27:48Speaker 2: of ejected after a couple of episodes. But the person
- 1:27:51Speaker 2: was supposed to be on the show as a recurring character.
- 1:27:55Speaker 2: But after these two after these two episodes and on
- 1:27:59Speaker 2: the set, he said that the person was just an
- 1:28:01Speaker 2: absolute a hole. And then the person who wrote the
- 1:28:06Speaker 2: article and did the interview said, well, after the fact,
- 1:28:08Speaker 2: you tried to figure out who he was. So we
- 1:28:09Speaker 2: went back to all the episodes of Parts and Rec
- 1:28:11Speaker 2: and tried to see where there were people who just
- 1:28:13Speaker 2: made a couple appearances, right, and then he kind of
- 1:28:15Speaker 2: he whittled it down to three possibilities, right, one of them,
- 1:28:21Speaker 2: but two of them were women and one was a guy.
- 1:28:24Speaker 2: And then he kind of kept making some stuff. But
- 1:28:26Speaker 2: I didn't read anything else because here's what I knew.
- 1:28:28Speaker 2: It had to be the guy, because guys don't call
- 1:28:31Speaker 2: women a holes. Right, We don't call women as holes.
- 1:28:37Speaker 2: We don't do that. If you are an are you?
- 1:28:39Speaker 2: If you're a female and you are, you have a
- 1:28:42Speaker 2: whole behavior, you're automatically a No, that's why you call
- 1:28:46Speaker 2: it an ale.
- 1:28:47Speaker 7: He's politically correct calling a woman an a whole as
- 1:28:50Speaker 7: opposed to a bitch.
- 1:28:51Speaker 2: No, how do you? I don't know how you feel.
- 1:28:53Speaker 2: It's the same, isn't it.
- 1:28:55Speaker 11: It's not.
- 1:28:55Speaker 2: And that's why it okay? Why, Because here's the thing, Like,
- 1:29:00Speaker 2: if I like, if I called you a b word, right,
- 1:29:03Speaker 2: it's not really about you being it's not about your attitude.
- 1:29:07Speaker 2: If I call another man a bitch, it's about your
- 1:29:09Speaker 2: manly hood, right, your manliness? Can we agree with that? Yeah,
- 1:29:13Speaker 2: Ross is a bitch. Nobody's gonna say, Oh, that means
- 1:29:17Speaker 2: Ross is in a really bad mood and he's being
- 1:29:18Speaker 2: demanding that a lot of people will disagree, right, But
- 1:29:22Speaker 2: what I'm saying is is nobody calls women a holes.
- 1:29:27Speaker 2: Have you ever called a woman an a hole?
- 1:29:29Speaker 4: I don't think I've ever called a woman an a hole.
- 1:29:31Speaker 4: But I do know one thing. If I did call
- 1:29:33Speaker 4: a woman an a hole, I would feel like a bitch.
- 1:29:39Speaker 5: All right?
- 1:29:40Speaker 2: Four seven that one six one o four one text
- 1:29:43Speaker 2: us at seven seven zero three one bank is your FIBA?
- 1:29:46Speaker 2: Who's the person? Say? The guy he thinks it is
- 1:29:50Speaker 2: is a guy. It's Jason Schwartzman, the guy from all
- 1:29:53Speaker 2: the Wes Anderson movie. Yeah, kind of a weird, old,
- 1:29:56Speaker 2: nerdy looking dude. He thinks it was him. Now, Nick
- 1:29:59Speaker 2: Offerman never offered who it was, but I just kind
- 1:30:02Speaker 2: of found that interesting that him just saying it was
- 1:30:04Speaker 2: an a hole kind of let you know, it's a dude,
- 1:30:07Speaker 2: because dudes don't call women a hole. Did he identify though,
- 1:30:11Speaker 2: to women? Yeah, they talked about who it was, the
- 1:30:13Speaker 2: women and everything. I don't know who they were. I mean,
- 1:30:15Speaker 2: they are actors I've never heard of. Because you decided
- 1:30:17Speaker 2: it had to be the guy. Yeah, because based on
- 1:30:20Speaker 2: that theory, have you ever heard of a woman called an.
- 1:30:22Speaker 2: Have you ever been in your life? Have you ever
- 1:30:23Speaker 2: been called an a hole by man? Oh? My money's on. Yes,
- 1:30:29Speaker 2: she may have been called the other one, which I'm
- 1:30:31Speaker 2: not even to say near her. But I'm telling you.
- 1:30:33Speaker 6: Know, if you call me a bitch, just make sure
- 1:30:35Speaker 6: you spell it with a capital B. I haven't been
- 1:30:37Speaker 6: lower case in decades.
- 1:30:39Speaker 11: Joe.
- 1:30:39Speaker 3: That's a compliment, sweetheart.
- 1:30:40Speaker 4: But I could for sure see your response for someone
- 1:30:44Speaker 4: calling you an a hole? Everyone going what I just laughed?
- 1:30:49Speaker 4: It would be like almost jarring, Like why would you
- 1:30:52Speaker 4: call a woman that?
- 1:30:53Speaker 2: Yeah, men don't do that.
- 1:30:54Speaker 6: Men, no, I can't or not even women don't call women.
- 1:30:58Speaker 6: I can't even think of an example.
- 1:31:01Speaker 7: Is a specifically male thing? Never thought about that?
- 1:31:06Speaker 3: They never have either.
- 1:31:07Speaker 2: Yeah. It's a good point, yeah, because I mean when
- 1:31:08Speaker 2: when I'm reading the article, I'm like, well, wait a minute,
- 1:31:10Speaker 2: I mean it has to be a dude, because no
- 1:31:12Speaker 2: dude calls a woman an Oh, there you go. But
- 1:31:16Speaker 2: I don't say that bitch.
- 1:31:17Speaker 4: I don't think Jack's little theory though, is that it's
- 1:31:20Speaker 4: nick Offferman, and nick Offerman is like the mainly man
- 1:31:24Speaker 4: on the left. He is a Yeah, he's got the
- 1:31:27Speaker 4: wood shop. He builds the furniture of the whole nine yards.
- 1:31:29Speaker 4: So like, I think the theory of him being actually
- 1:31:32Speaker 4: politically correct and going out of his way.
- 1:31:36Speaker 2: To not say the word bitch, Yeah, I don't think
- 1:31:39Speaker 2: that's that crazy, all right for a seven nine one
- 1:31:42Speaker 2: back in a second.
- 1:31:49Speaker 22: I don't care men calling women a whole just out
- 1:31:53Speaker 22: like out of the open, if they're not like maybe
- 1:31:56Speaker 22: coupled up. I think it's something that you would say
- 1:31:59Speaker 22: to your part or because it's kind of punky.
- 1:32:01Speaker 3: It's like a punky thing.
- 1:32:03Speaker 22: You're also like a punk or an a whole but
- 1:32:06Speaker 22: piece of s I really hit somebody with a spatula
- 1:32:10Speaker 22: over that one, or bitch.
- 1:32:13Speaker 25: Not good at all.
- 1:32:14Speaker 3: So yeah, I like this part really.
- 1:32:17Speaker 2: To thank you b A n K. That is your
- 1:32:24Speaker 2: five o'clock he were go to real radio dot FM
- 1:32:26Speaker 2: and send that away for your chance at one thousand dollars.
- 1:32:28Speaker 2: And remember, like our friend Melissa said, who won a
- 1:32:30Speaker 2: thousand dollars yesterday at the four o'clock hour. If you
- 1:32:33Speaker 2: are in this game, if you are entering a word,
- 1:32:36Speaker 2: keep your phone near you, turn it on, turn it up,
- 1:32:39Speaker 2: and I don't care what the phone says. If it says, hey,
- 1:32:42Speaker 2: this is a scam. Pick it up. Now, that's the
- 1:32:46Speaker 2: one thing we know. It won't say yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 1:32:48Speaker 2: So if it says, you know, if a number you
- 1:32:50Speaker 2: don't recognize or out of the area, whatever, you got
- 1:32:52Speaker 2: to pick that up because a color game, that's right.
- 1:32:54Speaker 2: That's how they tell you. One, Jim, there'szeba, Hello, Jack
- 1:32:58Speaker 2: and Sauce. Orlando City four ill oh really yeah? Opening
- 1:33:02Speaker 2: opening week?
- 1:33:03Speaker 7: Yeah, last night, resuming play after the break they took
- 1:33:07Speaker 7: off two months for World Cup, right, because yeah, in
- 1:33:10Speaker 7: the first half of the season.
- 1:33:11Speaker 2: Now this is the beginning of the second half of
- 1:33:13Speaker 2: the season. But the Premier League just started though, right
- 1:33:15Speaker 2: their season. Nope, that we'll be starting in August. In August. Yeah,
- 1:33:18Speaker 2: but it's coming up, that's what I'm saying.
- 1:33:21Speaker 4: And the MLSH Yeah, as Jack just said, they are
- 1:33:24Speaker 4: resuming the rest of their MLS season. Antwine Griesman, also
- 1:33:28Speaker 4: known as Antoine Grizzy, scores on his MLS debut. Nice
- 1:33:32Speaker 4: we have a world class player. That was some of
- 1:33:34Speaker 4: the best footy I've ever seen in Purple.
- 1:33:36Speaker 2: Nice love that man, That's awesome. Get hyped. Uh So
- 1:33:39Speaker 2: I want to ask you guys something there is h.
- 1:33:41Speaker 5: I don't know.
- 1:33:42Speaker 2: Maybe you should ask Glenn this. I don't even know
- 1:33:44Speaker 2: if I want to get into this. I believe all
- 1:33:45Speaker 2: could help maybe soon. All right, let's i'll ask you
- 1:33:48Speaker 2: a real quick. They're fat as well. I do not
- 1:33:50Speaker 2: fat as faticus when I am. Can you call him?
- 1:33:53Speaker 11: And?
- 1:33:53Speaker 2: Ah? Have you guys seen this California pastor? This story,
- 1:33:58Speaker 2: this California pastor who's uh sooner? No? No, yeah, he's
- 1:34:02Speaker 2: suing chat GPT. Oh why do you believe that a
- 1:34:06Speaker 2: California pastor is suing chat GPT? The pastor is kind
- 1:34:10Speaker 2: of a it's kind of a throw off because I mean,
- 1:34:12Speaker 2: they just mentioned that he's a pastor. I really don't
- 1:34:14Speaker 2: know why they bring that up, and almost like they're
- 1:34:16Speaker 2: kind of shaming him a little bit.
- 1:34:18Speaker 11: Uh.
- 1:34:18Speaker 2: But this guy in California is suing chat GPT.
- 1:34:21Speaker 7: Because he was using chat gipt to write his sermons
- 1:34:25Speaker 7: and it was incorrect.
- 1:34:26Speaker 2: That is such a great guess. That is not the answer. However,
- 1:34:31Speaker 2: what do you think, ross, Why would a pastor in
- 1:34:33Speaker 2: California sue chat GPT? And really the pastor thing doesn't
- 1:34:37Speaker 2: have a really impact, So why would someone sue chat
- 1:34:42Speaker 2: GPT because it gave him wrong wrong? What wrong? Wrong?
- 1:34:47Speaker 22: What?
- 1:34:49Speaker 2: No wrong? Ingredients for a rest of it told him
- 1:34:55Speaker 2: there was no God. That's so funny, deb what do
- 1:34:58Speaker 2: you think wrong?
- 1:34:59Speaker 6: Bible verse says that he then uses in church. Maybe
- 1:35:02Speaker 6: that's they call that the sabatini. Oh, it's like when
- 1:35:06Speaker 6: they just make up a just hallucinate Bible verses. I
- 1:35:08Speaker 6: was gonna say that it's because he was using chat
- 1:35:11Speaker 6: GPT to write letters to his lover and they ended
- 1:35:14Speaker 6: up being used in the chat GPT.
- 1:35:16Speaker 2: You're gonna tell you the thing is with chat GPT,
- 1:35:18Speaker 2: all of this is in play, not the answer. It's
- 1:35:21Speaker 2: way dumber. Oh, this guy started having some symptoms, right,
- 1:35:26Speaker 2: He said, well, you know it's kind of weird. I
- 1:35:27Speaker 2: don't I'm not feeling a hundred here, right. So he
- 1:35:30Speaker 2: goes to chat GPT and he types in his symptoms
- 1:35:34Speaker 2: that he's having. Chat GPT goes on a ti rad
- 1:35:38Speaker 2: and says, well, it's this, it's probably this. You know
- 1:35:41Speaker 2: you could take take these two medications and rest. You
- 1:35:44Speaker 2: should be fine. But whatever you do, don't go seek
- 1:35:47Speaker 2: medical help because it could actually be detrimental and could
- 1:35:51Speaker 2: lead to death. WHOA He listened to chat GPT and
- 1:35:56Speaker 2: did not go. He prolonged going to the hospital that
- 1:36:00Speaker 2: he finally did to find out that he had a
- 1:36:03Speaker 2: pulmonary embolism, which means he had a blood clot in
- 1:36:07Speaker 2: his lungs and it could have led to his death.
- 1:36:11Speaker 2: And he thinks that he's going to be able to
- 1:36:13Speaker 2: sue chat GPT because he asked it for medical advice
- 1:36:18Speaker 2: and it gave him bad medical advice. Whack whack. I
- 1:36:24Speaker 2: don't even I can't. I can't even imagine that they
- 1:36:28Speaker 2: let him file the suit, like I guess you can
- 1:36:31Speaker 2: file a suit against anything and they just you know,
- 1:36:32Speaker 2: gets there and gets thrown out. But I mean this
- 1:36:34Speaker 2: is going to be immediately ejected, correct, I mean there
- 1:36:38Speaker 2: is shit. Yeah, for sure, it will. I mean we've
- 1:36:42Speaker 2: seen it in law I mean lawyers try to use
- 1:36:45Speaker 2: chat GPT. We just talked about that. That's what the
- 1:36:47Speaker 2: Sabatini joke was for it. They literally tried to use
- 1:36:49Speaker 2: chat GPT or open AI or whatever to write briefs
- 1:36:53Speaker 2: or whatever and got called out by the judge more
- 1:36:55Speaker 2: than once. And this has happened all across the nation,
- 1:36:57Speaker 2: by the way.
- 1:36:58Speaker 7: That's lawyers using artificial intelligence in a court of law,
- 1:37:03Speaker 7: but a person using it and getting bad medical advice?
- 1:37:09Speaker 2: Could you do it to the internet, take chat Gypza
- 1:37:12Speaker 2: out of it? Can I assume you if you gave
- 1:37:13Speaker 2: me bad advice?
- 1:37:14Speaker 3: I don't think you could sue web md.
- 1:37:16Speaker 4: Yeah that's why you can.
- 1:37:19Speaker 7: Well why then web md the default thing is see
- 1:37:23Speaker 7: a doctor, right, don't see a doctor?
- 1:37:25Speaker 20: Right?
- 1:37:25Speaker 2: Yeah, this one actually said don't see a doctor. It
- 1:37:27Speaker 2: could lead to your death. That's interesting, you know, that
- 1:37:30Speaker 2: is interesting. I never really thought of that angle. You
- 1:37:32Speaker 2: You could be actually be onto something there, like if
- 1:37:34Speaker 2: the thing told him not to go to the doctor.
- 1:37:36Speaker 7: Yeah, I mean still, I mean he's kind of dumb.
- 1:37:39Speaker 7: You're listening to your phone.
- 1:37:40Speaker 4: Yeah that's your pastor. Dude, just go to a different church,
- 1:37:45Speaker 4: right quick? Like yeah, yeah, like that guy, he's up
- 1:37:49Speaker 4: to no good.
- 1:37:49Speaker 2: I don't know. And then also I wanted to ask
- 1:37:52Speaker 2: about this as well, Uh that I thought that would
- 1:37:54Speaker 2: go nowhere because it's just so easy to debunk, right, obviously,
- 1:37:57Speaker 2: we believe I'll keep an eye on it. That mentions
- 1:37:59Speaker 2: going anywhere.
- 1:38:00Speaker 7: Texas says that chat usually says I'm not able to diagnose,
- 1:38:03Speaker 7: which seems to be a more.
- 1:38:06Speaker 2: Much safer position. For your chat bot to take. Yeah,
- 1:38:11Speaker 2: this one did not take that. I read the exact
- 1:38:13Speaker 2: quote they had it highlighted, and I'm like, okay, that
- 1:38:15Speaker 2: seems yeah, that's bad news. I mean, just the fact
- 1:38:18Speaker 2: if you're a human being and a chat bot tells
- 1:38:20Speaker 2: you not to go to the hospital, that's probably what
- 1:38:22Speaker 2: you should immediately do.
- 1:38:24Speaker 4: It's just like one of my pet peeves is just
- 1:38:26Speaker 4: lacking of accountability. And this screams exactly that of like, dude,
- 1:38:32Speaker 4: how yeah, come on, take care of yourself, much bigger.
- 1:38:35Speaker 2: Issue that we need to tackle real quick, because I
- 1:38:39Speaker 2: get caught up in these culture wars sometimes and I
- 1:38:41Speaker 2: don't know what to do Starbucks cup No, And I
- 1:38:44Speaker 2: don't know that deb can be involved with this. I
- 1:38:46Speaker 2: think this primarily is a dude thing, But I'm not
- 1:38:49Speaker 2: one hundred Deb. You may be able to help out here, Okay,
- 1:38:52Speaker 2: all right, right? What kind of socks do you wear? Ross?
- 1:38:57Speaker 2: What's the length of your sock? I mean, where are
- 1:39:01Speaker 2: you going? Yeah, I'm asking you a question, like when
- 1:39:04Speaker 2: you put on your socks, what kind of socks do
- 1:39:06Speaker 2: you buy? Do you buy the ones that stop at
- 1:39:07Speaker 2: the ankle? Do you buy the ones that are the
- 1:39:10Speaker 2: well a little bit comes out like anklet socks, no,
- 1:39:13Speaker 2: or do you buy the no sums or do you
- 1:39:15Speaker 2: buy cruise socks? I thought no seams were bugs. Yeah yeah,
- 1:39:19Speaker 2: I mean but you know what I'm saying, like golf socks,
- 1:39:21Speaker 2: Like when we wear golf socks, it's just like right
- 1:39:23Speaker 2: there at the shoe, it looks like you're not wearing
- 1:39:24Speaker 2: a shit exactly, which always makes me go, oh, I
- 1:39:27Speaker 2: bet that smill. Yeah, I've got full blown tube. So
- 1:39:31Speaker 2: your tube sock guy, you you have the ones that
- 1:39:33Speaker 2: come up like almost through your knee, not knee, but
- 1:39:36Speaker 2: like halfway. That's crewe. I think Crew is like halfway
- 1:39:38Speaker 2: on the cap. Yeah, that's when I wear right, you
- 1:39:40Speaker 2: only wear Crew socks. Yeah, what do I got? What
- 1:39:44Speaker 2: is that? That's that's a cruise tube. That's a cruise
- 1:39:48Speaker 2: Yeah yeah, two two would come up a lot higher.
- 1:39:51Speaker 2: So I read the story today in Yahoo that that
- 1:39:54Speaker 2: is like that's an age thing, like you have to
- 1:39:58Speaker 2: figure out what age you are and what socks you're
- 1:40:00Speaker 2: allowed to wear. So if I wouldn't do tube, right,
- 1:40:04Speaker 2: I would not do tube socks.
- 1:40:05Speaker 3: And I guess that's gen z.
- 1:40:07Speaker 2: Now at my age, I'm not even supposed to wear
- 1:40:09Speaker 2: like the cruise socks.
- 1:40:11Speaker 3: I think you're down to anklets or little footy socks.
- 1:40:14Speaker 2: I think so.
- 1:40:15Speaker 7: I don't like that because I don't like the bottom
- 1:40:17Speaker 7: of my pants hitting my naked ankle.
- 1:40:18Speaker 2: Oh, I don't mind it, but I I have cruise
- 1:40:23Speaker 2: on now because the shoes I have on, the big
- 1:40:26Speaker 2: thick socks actually make these shoes fit better, so I
- 1:40:29Speaker 2: wear those.
- 1:40:30Speaker 5: Right.
- 1:40:31Speaker 2: But this story Rebecca Fisker or Firster, she's thirty three
- 1:40:35Speaker 2: years old. She's a gen Z sibling. Her friend Mark
- 1:40:38Speaker 2: twenty nine years old. They're four years apart, and they
- 1:40:41Speaker 2: talk about the generational use of socks and how it
- 1:40:44Speaker 2: decides what generation you're part of. My son wears cruise
- 1:40:49Speaker 2: socks because he's twenty nine or twenty nine or thirty,
- 1:40:52Speaker 2: and that's a cool sock. I think my socks are cool.
- 1:40:56Speaker 2: That's why I wear them. I think cruise socks are cooler.
- 1:40:58Speaker 2: But Jack wears them, and Jack isn't cool. You're stuck
- 1:41:02Speaker 2: with me, Yeah, but no, here's the thing there.
- 1:41:05Speaker 4: You need more context on the cruise sock, and I
- 1:41:08Speaker 4: am come, I'm coming in hot here.
- 1:41:10Speaker 2: Jack, you're a dick. He already noticed what's coming?
- 1:41:14Speaker 9: No?
- 1:41:15Speaker 4: No, no, there? What cruise socks are you wearing? Do
- 1:41:21Speaker 4: they have like the logo?
- 1:41:23Speaker 2: I have the logo because I get him at Costco.
- 1:41:25Speaker 12: Yeah, I'm not today though.
- 1:41:30Speaker 2: What kind of sucks do you?
- 1:41:31Speaker 3: You were the little inklets, little anklets. Yeah, I'm not
- 1:41:34Speaker 3: going to do it.
- 1:41:36Speaker 2: But you did wear tube socks one time when like
- 1:41:39Speaker 2: in eighth grade, I thought you weren't here for us
- 1:41:41Speaker 2: one time when you got on camera.
- 1:41:43Speaker 6: No, those were French that that was French stockings, not
- 1:41:47Speaker 6: tube socks.
- 1:41:48Speaker 4: And also responsible for one of the hardest times I've
- 1:41:51Speaker 4: ever laughed in my life.
- 1:41:52Speaker 2: I'm so glad you said laughter in your life.
- 1:41:58Speaker 11: My leg is stuck?
- 1:42:00Speaker 2: What is it? What is it?
- 1:42:01Speaker 7: I was trying to hold my sock up and I,
- 1:42:03Speaker 7: oh my god, look at that.
- 1:42:05Speaker 2: See I cramp.
- 1:42:06Speaker 4: I cramp so and you wear the crews. So if
- 1:42:10Speaker 4: you're cramping, dude, that means you gotta wear the ankle.
- 1:42:12Speaker 4: So young people wear longer socks, older people wear shorter socks.
- 1:42:16Speaker 4: That's what's supposed to happen, according to this According to
- 1:42:18Speaker 4: this article, that's the culture war. That is socks, and
- 1:42:21Speaker 4: it doesn't really apply to girls. They can do whatever
- 1:42:23Speaker 4: they want. This is only a dude thing. Yeah, I'm
- 1:42:27Speaker 4: I'm a I remember one socks first hit in high
- 1:42:31Speaker 4: school when the crew sock like it was all ankles, right,
- 1:42:37Speaker 4: everyone had bare ankles. And then some point when I
- 1:42:41Speaker 4: was in high school, like sophomore years that would have
- 1:42:43Speaker 4: been like two thousand and six, two thousand and seven
- 1:42:46Speaker 4: around there, crew socks hit and then they never left.
- 1:42:49Speaker 2: Right, So all the skater guys that I used to know,
- 1:42:51Speaker 2: the younger guy so my son used to wear that,
- 1:42:53Speaker 2: he wore a cruise socks with with crocs, and crocs
- 1:42:57Speaker 2: actually makes a sock that has built spec typically for
- 1:43:00Speaker 2: wearing the crocs while you have socks. It sounds like
- 1:43:04Speaker 2: a doctor susk crocs what socks? Yeah yeah, And and
- 1:43:07Speaker 2: he looked cool, and I was like, I could never
- 1:43:09Speaker 2: pull that off. If I walked out and I had
- 1:43:11Speaker 2: cruise socks, even with tennis shoes, I would immediately get
- 1:43:14Speaker 2: dad joked out of the building.
- 1:43:16Speaker 4: Like immediately you're wearing like Dicky's shorts. Yeah yeah, yeah,
- 1:43:19Speaker 4: maybe a pair of Jinkos and you're like, guys, where
- 1:43:21Speaker 4: you guys.
- 1:43:22Speaker 2: Jinkos get out here? Could you imagine me in a
- 1:43:25Speaker 2: pair of jinkos. Yeah, no you could. I can picture
- 1:43:29Speaker 2: you in a lot of things.
- 1:43:30Speaker 4: Well, that's terrible. It's fun and it's not doesn't it
- 1:43:33Speaker 4: doesn't sound fun at all. It's a fun little game.
- 1:43:36Speaker 4: I got going all right, four o seven nine one
- 1:43:38Speaker 4: six one four one. You can always text us at
- 1:43:40Speaker 4: seven seven zero three one. Do you have tube sox shack?
- 1:43:43Speaker 4: And he not even one pair?
- 1:43:44Speaker 2: Uh not anymore. Dress socks are almost always like tube
- 1:43:48Speaker 2: socks though, right, dress socks almost always go up real high.
- 1:43:51Speaker 7: The thin one see the ones I'm wearing right now
- 1:43:53Speaker 7: is what I wear like as my dress socks. They're
- 1:43:56Speaker 7: a little thicker. It's like a regular crew socket's at
- 1:43:59Speaker 7: they're black instead of way and your your dress socks
- 1:44:01Speaker 7: are thick. That's I wear these as them. I have
- 1:44:06Speaker 7: regular like not silk but really dress socks. Yeah, they
- 1:44:12Speaker 7: go all the way out. Yeah, that's ones. I have those,
- 1:44:15Speaker 7: but and I actually don't mind wearing those. But the
- 1:44:17Speaker 7: problem is, like my daily sock is like it's like
- 1:44:19Speaker 7: a golf sock. That's what I wear almost all the time.
- 1:44:22Speaker 7: For me, the tock has to match the shoe you're
- 1:44:25Speaker 7: wearing so much for your feel because sometimes you need
- 1:44:29Speaker 7: a thicker sock depending on the shoe on how it is.
- 1:44:32Speaker 2: And the thickest ones obviously the ones I got you right,
- 1:44:34Speaker 2: those are those things are the thickest socks. That's like hugging.
- 1:44:39Speaker 2: That's what I have on right now. The third goods.
- 1:44:40Speaker 2: There's nothing in the world.
- 1:44:41Speaker 4: Life but sometimes a thick sock. And trust me, I
- 1:44:44Speaker 4: know thinking about socks there too, Yeah, especially if they're thick. Yeah,
- 1:44:47Speaker 4: I'm a big fan of socks. This is basically a
- 1:44:50Speaker 4: pick the porn for me.
- 1:44:51Speaker 2: Yeah. Yeah.
- 1:44:52Speaker 4: But when a sock is too thick and then your
- 1:44:54Speaker 4: foot gets all like it feels like it's doing like
- 1:44:57Speaker 4: a cosplay, like it's wearing a costume, it starts sweating.
- 1:45:00Speaker 2: Yeah, a little swampy. Yeah, yeah, I don't like that. Yeah,
- 1:45:04Speaker 2: these do that sometimes in the summer. These socks are that,
- 1:45:06Speaker 2: and I only wear them occasionally in the summer because
- 1:45:08Speaker 2: they are super thick in their wool. But in the winter,
- 1:45:12Speaker 2: these things are the greatest. Walking around my house and
- 1:45:14Speaker 2: just these socks are the greatest.
- 1:45:15Speaker 4: I just went through my socks drawer grabbed all the
- 1:45:17Speaker 4: little uh yeah, I bet you did.
- 1:45:19Speaker 2: I blew its back out.
- 1:45:26Speaker 4: Only yes, death, but no I went through my socks, roar,
- 1:45:31Speaker 4: and I grabbed all the ones with little peep.
- 1:45:33Speaker 2: Poles, all all the little yeah yeah yeah, prison breaks.
- 1:45:38Speaker 2: You got a needle and thread, you darned them and
- 1:45:40Speaker 2: now you're good to go. No, I threw them away? What? Yeah?
- 1:45:43Speaker 2: So what am I right? The better way? Because that's
- 1:45:47Speaker 2: a good point. It happened to me.
- 1:45:48Speaker 7: I have jeans that are beyond repair. But I feel
- 1:45:52Speaker 7: wrong throwing clothes in the trash.
- 1:45:56Speaker 2: Yeah, but I mean, what are you gonna do? You
- 1:45:57Speaker 2: can't take them somewhere pretty short shorts.
- 1:46:01Speaker 7: No, that's not happening. Yeah, let them fly, clothes that
- 1:46:07Speaker 7: are torn and stuff. It's like you can have so
- 1:46:10Speaker 7: many rags, but then what do you do with them?
- 1:46:12Speaker 7: Because that's not a good landfill use.
- 1:46:16Speaker 13: It's not.
- 1:46:16Speaker 2: But what are you supposed to do? Burn it in
- 1:46:18Speaker 2: your fireplace?
- 1:46:19Speaker 11: Well?
- 1:46:20Speaker 2: I don't know.
- 1:46:20Speaker 7: Is there a place that just recycles or no? But
- 1:46:24Speaker 7: Goodwill only wants stuff they can resell. They're not looking
- 1:46:28Speaker 7: for junk clothes though.
- 1:46:30Speaker 2: Buddy, I mean, what's wrong with throwing away one pair
- 1:46:32Speaker 2: of jeans every fifteen years?
- 1:46:33Speaker 7: But I mean, this is a throwaway society. We did
- 1:46:37Speaker 7: that documentary on landfills. And now all these cheap clothes
- 1:46:41Speaker 7: that everyone gets off the internet from China, the fast fashion.
- 1:46:44Speaker 7: Maybe that fast fashion that's the worst thing for it.
- 1:46:47Speaker 7: I mean, look at some of these third world nations.
- 1:46:49Speaker 7: They're buried in it. Yeah, after we're done with it,
- 1:46:51Speaker 7: we toss it and buy.
- 1:46:52Speaker 2: A new one. Have you ever seen them been that
- 1:46:54Speaker 2: stuff up? And I saw a video the other day
- 1:46:56Speaker 2: of them doing that where they bend it up and
- 1:46:58Speaker 2: send it over to like water or whatever. Yeah, and
- 1:47:01Speaker 2: uh and man they took and I mean, how how
- 1:47:07Speaker 2: big do you think the room is like when that
- 1:47:10Speaker 2: the bin maker? Like in other words, they squeeze them
- 1:47:12Speaker 2: down like a trash compactor, and then they and then
- 1:47:13Speaker 2: they bail wire them. Buddy, let me tell you, it's
- 1:47:16Speaker 2: so many clothes you can imagine, Like when they cut
- 1:47:19Speaker 2: the wire on those bales, it must explode. The room
- 1:47:23Speaker 2: that they've crushed that one bail into is as big
- 1:47:25Speaker 2: as the room you guys are in. So they take
- 1:47:27Speaker 2: a room full of clothes that size and squash it
- 1:47:30Speaker 2: down into a bail no different like a cardboard bail.
- 1:47:33Speaker 2: I mean, it must be hundreds of pieces of clothing
- 1:47:37Speaker 2: and it's just like a whole bunch of von Dutch. Yeah,
- 1:47:39Speaker 2: it's just all bon Dutch. That's why. That's why when
- 1:47:41Speaker 2: you see these tragedies over in Haiti, it's kind of wild.
- 1:47:43Speaker 2: You see like, oh my god, hurricane Hurricane Nike tea shirt.
- 1:47:46Speaker 4: Yeah, it's like, yeah, like Justack wants us to all
- 1:47:50Speaker 4: be Betsy Ross and fix all of our clothes.
- 1:47:55Speaker 2: Then the seventies do that was the thing though. You
- 1:47:56Speaker 2: never throw away, you just sell you like, sew a
- 1:47:58Speaker 2: patch over it, dude, get a the pants I'm talking
- 1:48:03Speaker 2: about now, and then the crutch right, yes, right through.
- 1:48:07Speaker 2: But I used to save them. They were my painting pants.
- 1:48:10Speaker 7: Right if I did do somewhere around the house, it's
- 1:48:12Speaker 7: like and I needed pants that would be yeah, yeah
- 1:48:14Speaker 7: that you blew out the crotcheal area.
- 1:48:16Speaker 2: Yeah, they're like chaps now, Oh I got you. That's terrible.
- 1:48:19Speaker 7: Someone says they have bes new donation boxes called bins. Uh,
- 1:48:24Speaker 7: they actually recycle and turn clothing into rags.
- 1:48:26Speaker 2: Oh that's cool. Yeah, I did not know that. I know.
- 1:48:28Speaker 2: The bins for us is like with all the stuff
- 1:48:30Speaker 2: they couldn't hang up our cell that they didn't think
- 1:48:31Speaker 2: it would go anywhere. Yeah, they just put them in
- 1:48:33Speaker 2: these giant bins and you just go and dig through it. Yeah,
- 1:48:38Speaker 2: it's a fun time, all right. Let's take a little break.
- 1:48:41Speaker 2: We got trivia on the other side. Loaded them upn't

- 1:52:56Speaker 2: Or lastly, he's an only child. Which of those is

- 1:53:31Speaker 2: Number two, he suffers from dyspraxia, which is a neurodevelopment
- 1:53:34Speaker 2: disorder that makes fine motor skills like handwriting difficult. Or lastly,

- 1:53:55Speaker 2: years he was like one of the most famous people
- 1:53:57Speaker 2: in the world. How many people do you believe he
- 1:53:58Speaker 2: does have on social media? So you said five million? Yeah,
- 1:54:02Speaker 2: I said twenty million on five on he's oh so
- 1:54:05Speaker 2: more than twenty million on three different What do you

- 1:54:12Speaker 3: What do you think ross one hundred and ten. What
- 1:54:14Speaker 3: do you think seventy million?
- 1:54:15Speaker 2: He doesn't use social media, Look at he has no
- 1:54:22Speaker 2: social media. He doesn't believe in it, never did. He
- 1:54:24Speaker 2: does suffer from dyspraxia, a word I've never seen or heard,
- 1:54:28Speaker 2: which is a neurodevelopmental order or disorder that makes it
- 1:54:31Speaker 2: difficult for you to do fine motor skills, stuff like handwriting.
- 1:54:35Speaker 7: You do you think all celebrities have their social media
- 1:54:37Speaker 7: accounts monetized with that large of a following, Yeah, they're
- 1:54:41Speaker 7: all getting paid.
- 1:54:42Speaker 2: Oh yeah, man, we just said yesterday Selena every post
- 1:54:44Speaker 2: that Selena puts up as one hundred eight hundred grand
- 1:54:46Speaker 2: and Jim it's pronounced just sprats.
- 1:54:48Speaker 11: Yeoh.
- 1:54:49Speaker 2: Is the dispraxi? Do you know that? Perfect? That's a
- 1:54:51Speaker 2: Harry Potter Joe?
- 1:54:52Speaker 6: Oh?

- 1:55:02Speaker 2: A couple other things you may not know about Dana
- 1:55:04Speaker 2: Boy who lived a couple other things you may not
- 1:55:07Speaker 2: know about Daniel Radcliff before we get to the top
- 1:55:09Speaker 2: of the argets some Rossow's coming up. That gym doesn't
- 1:55:12Speaker 2: get He can rotate his arms three hundred and sixty degrees.
- 1:55:16Speaker 2: Have you ever seen somebody do that? It's wild. Yeah.
- 1:55:20Speaker 2: He does not participate in social media. He is the
- 1:55:22Speaker 2: youngest non royal to have their portrait displayed in the
- 1:55:25Speaker 2: prestigious Lundant London Portrait Gallery or lastly here, he's very
- 1:55:30Speaker 2: close friends with legendary English actor. An actor I believe
- 1:55:34Speaker 2: is an actor that is underrated, does not even get
- 1:55:38Speaker 2: a tenth of the accolades they deserve. I think he's
- 1:55:41Speaker 2: one of the best that's ever lived. I and I don't.
- 1:55:45Speaker 2: Gary Oldman is the answer. I mean, I think he
- 1:55:48Speaker 2: gets his accolades, but still he doesn't get talked about
- 1:55:50Speaker 2: like something like Nicholson or those guys. I think he's
- 1:55:52Speaker 2: just as good as any of them. I think Gary
- 1:55:54Speaker 2: Oldman is an absolute beast of an actor.
- 1:55:56Speaker 4: I think he's right there with Nicholson. I think he
- 1:55:58Speaker 4: gets and he's oh good. I still want him to
- 1:56:01Speaker 4: get more accurate.
- 1:56:02Speaker 2: Yeah, I mean you you can't put him in anything
- 1:56:04Speaker 2: he can't do. You watch slow Horses? No, I haven't,
- 1:56:08Speaker 2: and everybody you're not watching the funny thing. You know
- 1:56:11Speaker 2: what it is? Jack, I forget about it, like I
- 1:56:13Speaker 2: get it, because I mean it came out what two

- 1:56:18Speaker 2: I gotta check it out though, because I love Gary Oldman,
- 1:56:21Speaker 2: best vampire ever. That's the best. That is the best
- 1:56:25Speaker 2: portrayal of Dracula I've ever seen in my life. The
- 1:56:28Speaker 2: rest of the movie was a travesty because of Keanu Reeves,
- 1:56:30Speaker 2: but the rest of it he was great. Dude, you
- 1:56:33Speaker 2: just gotta let go what's coming up from thoughts? You
- 1:56:37Speaker 2: just gotta rise so bad. That's exactly how it sounds.
- 1:56:42Speaker 2: As he's resting period clothes. What thou shall I? That's

- 1:57:18Speaker 4: back up to Mountain Colbert Titus that's just north of
- 1:57:22Speaker 4: this radio station. That's right, we need the council.
- 1:57:26Speaker 2: Oh no, not the council.
- 1:57:28Speaker 10: It is time for us to go up the steps

- 1:58:29Speaker 2: and left to talk back. She reminded us, if you're
- 1:58:31Speaker 2: playing the game, gotta keep your phone near you turn
- 1:58:33Speaker 2: it on and answer it when it rings the hour
- 1:58:36Speaker 2: you're playing it doesn't matter what it says on the screen.

- 1:59:10Speaker 4: don't even feel floor to summer. Why because I called
- 1:59:13Speaker 4: Mills Air. You can be like me, and I invite
- 1:59:16Speaker 4: you to do exactly that. Now, Today's Ross Scots is
- 1:59:19Speaker 4: kind of a special one. We used to do this
- 1:59:22Speaker 4: a fair amount back in the day. We have done
- 1:59:24Speaker 4: this in quite some time.
- 1:59:25Speaker 2: Now.

- 2:03:59Speaker 13: Without the echo, the bit seems silly.

- 2:06:23Speaker 10: baths filled with milk?
- 2:06:26Speaker 2: What is Who is the greatest fictional.
- 2:06:31Speaker 12: President in all of cinema? The best fictional president? Prophet Colbert?
- 2:06:40Speaker 12: What is your suggestion?
- 2:06:42Speaker 11: I am so glad that you chose this topic. This
- 2:06:48Speaker 11: is one of my favorite movies of all time.
- 2:06:51Speaker 2: Movie.
- 2:06:52Speaker 11: It stands.
- 2:06:55Speaker 2: At the bottom.
- 2:06:57Speaker 11: Of a great mountain of movies about presidents.
- 2:07:00Speaker 28: Therefore, I nominate Michael Douglass in the film The American President,
- 2:07:07Speaker 28: where cleverly the White House slides him into the presidency.
- 2:07:13Speaker 11: Because he looks exactly like the president would die. Prophet Bradshaw,
- 2:07:21Speaker 11: what say you?
- 2:07:22Speaker 5: What say you?
- 2:07:25Speaker 7: At this time in our nation's history, during the President
- 2:07:32Speaker 7: Bush administration.
- 2:07:35Speaker 2: Of George W. Bush, I enjoy sir, fine joy, the.
- 2:07:39Speaker 7: Liberals had an alternative president on NBC every Wednesday Night.
- 2:07:46Speaker 11: It was President Bartlett on the West Way.
- 2:07:49Speaker 7: Yes, and that was the president we leaned upon during
- 2:07:54Speaker 7: those dark times, Marlin.
- 2:07:59Speaker 20: That's that's a good suggestion. My mom loved that show.
- 2:08:05Speaker 20: I watched a lot of West Wing. Let's say you, brother.
- 2:08:10Speaker 11: Ross, your mother thought it was about food. I won't
- 2:08:15Speaker 11: say my nominee, why for all I have to do
- 2:08:20Speaker 11: is repeat his words?
- 2:08:22Speaker 27: And should we win?
- 2:08:23Speaker 11: The day?
- 2:08:25Speaker 2: The fourth of July will no longer be known as
- 2:08:27Speaker 2: an American.
- 2:08:28Speaker 27: Holiday, but as the day when the world declared in
- 2:08:32Speaker 27: one voice.
- 2:08:33Speaker 11: We will not go quietly into the night. We will
- 2:08:36Speaker 11: not finish without a fight.
- 2:08:38Speaker 2: We're going to live on.
- 2:08:40Speaker 27: We're going to survive. For today we celebrate our Independence Day.
- 2:08:46Speaker 27: Fictional President Thomas J. Whitmore, played by Bill porl Oh
- 2:08:51Speaker 27: find joyce Independence Day is the greatest fictional president.
- 2:08:55Speaker 10: But what say you, Defender Roberts, who is the greatest
- 2:08:59Speaker 10: fake president.
- 2:09:00Speaker 6: Don't make it political, don't do the easy joke, Nor
- 2:09:08Speaker 6: will I take the intimidation from brother Colbert.
- 2:09:12Speaker 11: My vote.
- 2:09:14Speaker 3: Is for President Whitmore Independence.
- 2:09:18Speaker 2: Yes, I don't even feel like I lost. Oh but
- 2:09:22Speaker 2: you did not.
- 2:09:23Speaker 19: Only did Will Smith punch an alien? We made Central
- 2:09:28Speaker 19: Florida join us here at the Council. I just got
- 2:09:31Speaker 19: an email from Mill's Air.
- 2:09:33Speaker 11: I'm no longer invited on Thursdays. We'll get back to that.
- 2:09:41Speaker 11: Might want to back back beat beat, back up, this
- 2:09:44Speaker 11: bit might get fired twice. It's time in an echo.
- 2:09:54Speaker 2: You got fired fired.
- 2:09:57Speaker 11: Thoughts, I'm out all right?
- 2:10:01Speaker 2: Bro seven four one text seven seven zero three one

- 2:10:06Speaker 2: with more than Jim Golberg Joe.
- 2:10:18Speaker 3: So.
- 2:10:18Speaker 26: Daniel Radcliffe was really close with Gary Oldman because they
- 2:10:22Speaker 26: actually played Godfather and god Son and the Harry Potter movies.
- 2:10:26Speaker 26: Gary Oldman played Serious Black. He was also Daniel Radcliffe
- 2:10:30Speaker 26: was also really close with Alan Rickman, who played Severate. Yeah,
- 2:10:33Speaker 26: another amazing British actor, and Alan Rickman was known to
- 2:10:39Speaker 26: really protect the children during the filming and get the
- 2:10:42Speaker 26: director to let the kids be kids and secure time
- 2:10:45Speaker 26: for that. Have a great day.
- 2:10:47Speaker 2: Hey, thanks for the heads up. But it's nice.
- 2:10:49Speaker 3: That's cool.
- 2:10:51Speaker 9: It's raw spelled like saws.
- 2:10:55Speaker 26: I went to public schools.
- 2:10:56Speaker 2: So is it r A U C yeah.
- 2:11:01Speaker 23: Or is it saucy or rough?
- 2:11:05Speaker 20: Thank you?
- 2:11:05Speaker 2: Public schools and my heart Radio.
- 2:11:08Speaker 26: I can't figure out roll is spelt like sauce, but
- 2:11:11Speaker 26: I love to show anyway, thank you.
- 2:11:15Speaker 2: I like the last part was my favorite part. But
- 2:11:16Speaker 2: I love the show anyway, you dailed it, by the
- 2:11:19Speaker 2: way he spelled it. First your six o'clock Heywards checked,
- 2:11:23Speaker 2: c H G c K. Go to real radio out
- 2:11:25Speaker 2: of him and send that off for your chance in
- 2:11:26Speaker 2: one thousand bucks. Check is the word, guys, go get
- 2:11:28Speaker 2: the money, get it. I'm Jimner's deb and sauce Daddy.
- 2:11:33Speaker 2: It's trail. We got you for a little bit tomorrow.
- 2:11:35Speaker 2: Yeah yeah, but for the time he's here tomorrow, it'll
- 2:11:41Speaker 2: totally be in the council. What say the say you?
- 2:11:47Speaker 2: What say the what is uh hot? D yeah? The
- 2:11:51Speaker 2: oh the echo is so much fun. By the way,
- 2:11:53Speaker 2: I would die. You literally could do that all day.
- 2:11:55Speaker 2: I mean I would drive people crazy, but it it
- 2:11:57Speaker 2: is so fun. I do not know why. Well, when
- 2:12:02Speaker 2: you guys put the echo like I have no echo?
- 2:12:03Speaker 2: Now right there you go?
- 2:12:05Speaker 11: There you go, oh yes, oh, yes, so w and
- 2:12:10Speaker 11: I are dating.
- 2:12:13Speaker 2: But it's only you. You're the only one in the echo.
- 2:12:16Speaker 11: We're in the council together, all right, four seven nine?
- 2:12:23Speaker 11: What are you doing?
- 2:12:24Speaker 8: Hey?
- 2:12:24Speaker 3: Wait, that's my line trying to.
- 2:12:26Speaker 2: Ruin the show joke. What percentage of Americans do you
- 2:12:31Speaker 2: believe admit to shoplifting.
- 2:12:35Speaker 3: Ooh, yeah, that's a good one.
- 2:12:37Speaker 2: Eight percent. That felt right right fifteen eleven. You know,
- 2:12:43Speaker 2: I got to tell you it's so crazy. I posed
- 2:12:45Speaker 2: this question to my wife this morning, and what do
- 2:12:47Speaker 2: you think? Her answer was. Now, the funny thing is
- 2:12:50Speaker 2: is I said, how many? What percent do you think
- 2:12:52Speaker 2: admit it? And then because she said a number, and
- 2:12:55Speaker 2: I said, no, admit it, and then she started laughing.
- 2:12:58Speaker 2: Her guest was ninety percent. Ninety percent of people have shoplifted.
- 2:13:04Speaker 2: And I gotta tell you I agree with her, not
- 2:13:06Speaker 2: necessarily ninety because I think shoplifting is the first crime
- 2:13:10Speaker 2: most people commit.
- 2:13:11Speaker 8: But so is it.
- 2:13:12Speaker 2: If you did it once in your life, you're a shoplifter. Okay,
- 2:13:16Speaker 2: so you are?
- 2:13:18Speaker 11: I am?
- 2:13:19Speaker 2: I am a shoplift.
- 2:13:20Speaker 14: I am.
- 2:13:20Speaker 2: I stole a key blank Yeah, yeah, I stole a
- 2:13:22Speaker 2: magazine and a couple other small things. My wife told
- 2:13:24Speaker 2: me she sold gum as a kid, but her mom
- 2:13:27Speaker 2: found out that she had it and made her walk
- 2:13:28Speaker 2: right back in there and give it back. What kind
- 2:13:30Speaker 2: of magazine were you stealing? Skateboarding magazine? Right, yeah, put
- 2:13:33Speaker 2: it in the newspaper. Gun busted. And then the lady said,
- 2:13:36Speaker 2: is this your skateboarding magazine. I said, no, man, I
- 2:13:38Speaker 2: don't know how you can imagine that. Then I skateboarded away.
- 2:13:42Speaker 3: Brilliant move.
- 2:13:43Speaker 2: That's my favorite party. Yeah, I'm my skateboard and all that.
- 2:13:49Speaker 2: I shoplifted, but it was from a gas station. Does
- 2:13:51Speaker 2: that count?
- 2:13:52Speaker 11: Yeah?
- 2:13:52Speaker 2: Anytime you take something that you didn't pay for, you
- 2:13:55Speaker 2: have shoplifted. Deb is the only one on the show.
- 2:13:57Speaker 2: I think maybe had not shoplifted.
- 2:13:59Speaker 6: Oh no, oh yeah, no shop come on, man, forget
- 2:14:05Speaker 6: I'm bitch with capital be over here. I mean, I'll
- 2:14:08Speaker 6: reinforce the stereotype. I think women have shoplifted more than men.
- 2:14:12Speaker 3: I agree.
- 2:14:13Speaker 2: I don't know about that. I did make it a
- 2:14:15Speaker 2: person stick now, not purs But what I'm saying is
- 2:14:18Speaker 2: you have a purse to stick it into. We don't
- 2:14:20Speaker 2: do we have to put it in your pocket or
- 2:14:21Speaker 2: hide it somewhere up well, I mean maybe the case
- 2:14:23Speaker 2: is well pocket whatever we have the prison pocket, sir,
- 2:14:27Speaker 2: I guess you do have one. A prison pocket. Back
- 2:14:32Speaker 2: the mud pinky. I gotta I gotta push pop in
- 2:14:35Speaker 2: there now. I'm not sure what shape it's in.
- 2:14:38Speaker 6: Not good, probably probably not good. But yeah, I would
- 2:14:42Speaker 6: agree with that. Things, small things like a lipstick, a
- 2:14:45Speaker 6: nail polish. It would be easier. And you know, I
- 2:14:49Speaker 6: can't really think of an item that you guys would
- 2:14:52Speaker 6: steal like that. You razors, they keep behind lock and
- 2:14:55Speaker 6: key in most cases.
- 2:14:55Speaker 2: As a kid, that's right, there's a statute of limitations here.
- 2:15:01Speaker 11: As a kid.
- 2:15:02Speaker 2: When we were in high school, every person that I knew,
- 2:15:05Speaker 2: like all the dudes I knew that worked at other places.
- 2:15:07Speaker 2: Like one guy worked at a shoe store in the
- 2:15:08Speaker 2: mall I worked at when Dixie we had other people working. Ever,
- 2:15:12Speaker 2: we had a network, like if I need to choose,
- 2:15:15Speaker 2: I would steal something from my store to give to
- 2:15:17Speaker 2: the other person to pay for the shoes that I
- 2:15:19Speaker 2: stole because that person wanted something from the place I worked.
- 2:15:22Speaker 2: And dude, we had that going for two or three months,
- 2:15:24Speaker 2: so I had to run there where it was not good. Well,
- 2:15:27Speaker 2: say you're robbing sears to pay ecords.
- 2:15:28Speaker 6: Yeah, it's funny that you bring up condoms being shoplifted
- 2:15:35Speaker 6: because of embarrassed me. You know the number one shoplifted item.
- 2:15:38Speaker 2: Well, yeah, the one thing I was used to tell
- 2:15:39Speaker 2: you that shoplifted was acne cream preparation eight. Oh really,
- 2:15:43Speaker 2: Preparation eight irony. No one wants to hear the price
- 2:15:46Speaker 2: tag the price call. Yeah, yeah, and I had a
- 2:15:49Speaker 2: thirty two ounce too, but preparation.
- 2:15:51Speaker 3: Nation need a price check exactly, cdustrial.
- 2:15:53Speaker 2: Sized prep ags for the guy who walks funny on
- 2:15:57Speaker 2: Aisle seven. Got the push Pops coal shirt. Yeah, man,
- 2:16:03Speaker 2: I used to steal acne cream? What's it? What was
- 2:16:06Speaker 2: it called jack acutane that they had stridex, but there
- 2:16:11Speaker 2: was another one was the pads? That was the pad?
- 2:16:15Speaker 2: I almost said, ori jel that's funny as stupid as that.
- 2:16:19Speaker 11: What was it?
- 2:16:19Speaker 2: Guys? What was that acne the little tube of acne
- 2:16:22Speaker 2: stuff that used to be able to buy and they
- 2:16:23Speaker 2: had it makeup color, remember that? Oh yeah, and they
- 2:16:25Speaker 2: made it look like makeup so you could cover your
- 2:16:27Speaker 2: zits up and treat your ZiT and that was like
- 2:16:31Speaker 2: the whole commercial. Yeah, because it was like a I
- 2:16:33Speaker 2: mean even back in the eighties it was like six
- 2:16:35Speaker 2: or seven dollars a tube because it was very expensive.
- 2:16:39Speaker 4: Whatever happened to those pads? Clear clear, it just steal that.
- 2:16:43Speaker 4: What happened to those acne pads? Because they still have them.
- 2:16:45Speaker 4: You would rub them on the and then you would
- 2:16:47Speaker 4: look at the pad to be like, oh my god,
- 2:16:48Speaker 4: I'm such a filthy little pig.
- 2:16:51Speaker 2: Maybe that was just me. I like that used to
- 2:16:54Speaker 2: be such a common thing. I don't see anybody swiping now,
- 2:16:57Speaker 2: But that's got to be the first crime that most
- 2:16:59Speaker 2: people commit, right, is choplifting, because I believe you think
- 2:17:02Speaker 2: about it even as a kid. You go in there.
- 2:17:03Speaker 2: You don't understand the concept of paying for a.
- 2:17:06Speaker 3: Good Sure, did you knew what to do with that
- 2:17:08Speaker 3: skateboarding magazine? E?
- 2:17:09Speaker 2: When I was twenty, I was like eighteen twenty years old.
- 2:17:13Speaker 2: I was dude, I'm telling you, I was like nineteen
- 2:17:15Speaker 2: twenty years old when I did that. Oh my, I
- 2:17:17Speaker 2: was like, yeah, I was a real I see dead
- 2:17:21Speaker 2: people part of that story. But my wife was waiting
- 2:17:26Speaker 2: for me in the car exactly. But at least we
- 2:17:28Speaker 2: had the kids in the car seat. I'm not a
- 2:17:31Speaker 2: toue middle stumb bag. I had a buddy. I had
- 2:17:34Speaker 2: a buddy back in high school that we hang out
- 2:17:36Speaker 2: with all the time. We'd go to the beach. Right,
- 2:17:38Speaker 2: we're on our way back from the beach. We stopped
- 2:17:39Speaker 2: by this convenience store to get like a soda or
- 2:17:41Speaker 2: something for the trip home, and we walked back out
- 2:17:44Speaker 2: and he's in the backseat and dude starts pulling stuff
- 2:17:46Speaker 2: out of every piece of clothing that he has, and
- 2:17:49Speaker 2: I'm like, what are you doing? You know those sleeves
- 2:17:52Speaker 2: of gum where it's the it's the package, just go
- 2:17:54Speaker 2: ten packs of that. He stole like four of those
- 2:17:57Speaker 2: two beers bags of pretzels. Any I'd be like, how
- 2:18:01Speaker 2: did you get out of there? And he didn't look
- 2:18:04Speaker 2: like he had anything on him, but he had this
- 2:18:05Speaker 2: sweater on that was a little billowy and he was
- 2:18:08Speaker 2: able to stuff that, put it up his shirt leg
- 2:18:10Speaker 2: and his put it in a socked.
- 2:18:12Speaker 6: Now you understand why convenience stores near high schools are like,
- 2:18:15Speaker 6: oh no, only one student at a time, and they
- 2:18:17Speaker 6: can't bring it back back.
- 2:18:18Speaker 4: Dude.
- 2:18:18Speaker 2: The circle k that's over by Lineman right across the
- 2:18:21Speaker 2: street here. I remember when i'd go pick my kids
- 2:18:23Speaker 2: up for school, I would drop in there and get
- 2:18:25Speaker 2: a soda or something like that before I had to
- 2:18:26Speaker 2: go wait in line. And you're a hundred percent right,
- 2:18:28Speaker 2: that signed big pink sign said no more than two
- 2:18:31Speaker 2: students at any given time. Yeah, because the sons of
- 2:18:34Speaker 2: bitches would come in and Robin blind.
- 2:18:35Speaker 4: Yeah exactly, I always uh, the the one I only
- 2:18:39Speaker 4: did it like twice he was back in the day.
- 2:18:42Speaker 4: But I was candy bars via Slurpy dude. Right, I
- 2:18:47Speaker 4: think I told you guys this before, is that I
- 2:18:49Speaker 4: got my Oceans eleven on via Slurpye. I would put
- 2:18:52Speaker 4: the candy bar in the Slurpee cup, fill the cup
- 2:18:56Speaker 4: up with a Slurpee, and then they would be so close.
- 2:18:59Speaker 2: Yet, So okay, and check this out. They have this
- 2:19:02Speaker 2: broken that. They have this broken down into other categories
- 2:19:07Speaker 2: as well. So you said you thought men stole more
- 2:19:11Speaker 2: than women or women stole more than men. I think
- 2:19:13Speaker 2: women steal more than men. By the way, this was
- 2:19:15Speaker 2: two thousand people from ages eighteen to eighty for this survey.
- 2:19:19Speaker 2: This is a Fox survey deb what do you think
- 2:19:22Speaker 2: men or women? I'm gonna go with rossamusse women jack
- 2:19:27Speaker 2: men by thirty six percent of men, still more than
- 2:19:31Speaker 2: twenty three percent of women. Oh wow. Yeah. How about
- 2:19:34Speaker 2: age group young young gen zers, millennials, gen xers or
- 2:19:40Speaker 2: baby boomers who steals more.
- 2:19:44Speaker 3: Baby boomers because their social security is running out.
- 2:19:46Speaker 2: That's funny, that's a good pointing. Now, yeah, right, now
- 2:19:49Speaker 2: right now, Yeah, because I told you the pole is
- 2:19:51Speaker 2: eighteen to eighty.
- 2:19:53Speaker 1: So is it?
- 2:19:53Speaker 2: Is it gen zers? Is it millennials, is it gen
- 2:19:56Speaker 2: xers or is it baby boomers? Gross like Miami, you
- 2:19:59Speaker 2: shop lifts more. You would think it would be the
- 2:20:02Speaker 2: youngest one of the group.
- 2:20:04Speaker 5: I don't know.
- 2:20:05Speaker 2: I'm going gen Z, Yeah, deb.
- 2:20:08Speaker 3: Went, I went because the security is running out here.
- 2:20:11Speaker 2: Boomers. It is the smallest, and you guys got it.
- 2:20:13Speaker 2: Gen Z is the most, but only by a little bit.
- 2:20:15Speaker 2: It only you guys. It only edges up millennials by
- 2:20:18Speaker 2: one percent. Kids think it's a victimless crime.
- 2:20:21Speaker 7: Oh look at all. It's a corporation. They have all
- 2:20:23Speaker 7: the money and the world kind of deal.
- 2:20:26Speaker 5: That wild.
- 2:20:27Speaker 4: You should have seen my face when I was in
- 2:20:30Speaker 4: the middle of that era of my life of like,
- 2:20:33Speaker 4: you know, it doesn't matter, it's a corporation or whatever.
- 2:20:35Speaker 4: And then someone explained to me the concept of franchises
- 2:20:39Speaker 4: like in people like owning the score and I'm just
- 2:20:42Speaker 4: ruining this family in his family zer.
- 2:20:45Speaker 2: It was the real crossroads moment for your boy. All right,
- 2:20:50Speaker 2: how about by household income in other words, okay, so
- 2:20:53Speaker 2: for less than thirty thousand dollars between thirty and fifty
- 2:20:58Speaker 2: thousand dollars, between fifty and one hundred thousand dollars or
- 2:21:02Speaker 2: one hundred thousand or more. Who steals more?
- 2:21:06Speaker 14: Wow?
- 2:21:07Speaker 2: And by the way, it is a marketed difference. The
- 2:21:11Speaker 2: group that wins is is it thirty to fifty?
- 2:21:17Speaker 6: I was going to go fifty to one hundred because
- 2:21:19Speaker 6: a lot of times it's kids who don't even need
- 2:21:21Speaker 6: it steal just for the thrillers.
- 2:21:22Speaker 2: And I think that's the curve here, but it should
- 2:21:26Speaker 2: be you. You would think the poorest right because they
- 2:21:32Speaker 2: have to. But for some reason, I'm going thirty to fifty.
- 2:21:36Speaker 2: I'd likes fifty to one hundred. What do you think
- 2:21:38Speaker 2: ross fifty two one hundred. The people who earn one
- 2:21:40Speaker 2: hundred thousand dollars or more steal more by a lot.
- 2:21:44Speaker 2: By the way, yeah, the people who make it's a
- 2:21:46Speaker 2: dead tie between people who make less than thirty and
- 2:21:49Speaker 2: people between fifty and one hundred. They both have been
- 2:21:52Speaker 2: at twenty seven percent the household between thirty and fifty.
- 2:21:56Speaker 2: Jack's choice is thirty percent, and then the other one
- 2:21:59Speaker 2: is forty percent. One hundred thousand or more steals more
- 2:22:02Speaker 2: than anybody you know, that is it more in value
- 2:22:05Speaker 2: or it doesn't say anything about the value, It just
- 2:22:07Speaker 2: says stealing. This is still bigger stuff.
- 2:22:10Speaker 4: Yeah, this is probably one of the most educational segments
- 2:22:13Speaker 4: we've stumbled upon here, because I know I'm gonna learn
- 2:22:17Speaker 4: this is a big takeaway from me. I find it
- 2:22:19Speaker 4: so fascinating that both Dev and I were like, yeah,
- 2:22:21Speaker 4: I think women, like I've heard of women stealing. I've
- 2:22:25Speaker 4: heard of that when it comes to makeup and stuff
- 2:22:27Speaker 4: like that. But for it to be objectively men across
- 2:22:32Speaker 4: the board when it comes to theft, when it comes
- 2:22:34Speaker 4: to motor just the house robbery, organized retail theft, all
- 2:22:39Speaker 4: of that, it's men. And even with shoplifting the way
- 2:22:44Speaker 4: that you and I were thinking about it, I just
- 2:22:45Speaker 4: looked it up. It's like half yeah, yeah, it's not
- 2:22:49Speaker 4: a seventy thirty thing.
- 2:22:51Speaker 2: It's half. Here's another one. I think it's kind of interesting.
- 2:22:53Speaker 2: This is another subset here. This is parents with children
- 2:22:57Speaker 2: at a certain age. So who steals more? Parents with
- 2:23:01Speaker 2: children under the age of eighteen, parents with children older
- 2:23:04Speaker 2: than eighteen, or adults with children without children under eighteen.
- 2:23:09Speaker 2: It's got to be under eighteen. They're you know, you
- 2:23:12Speaker 2: have a kid. Things are tight. What are those age
- 2:23:14Speaker 2: groups again with this is parents with children younger than eighteen,
- 2:23:19Speaker 2: parents with children older than eighteen, or adults without children.
- 2:23:23Speaker 2: Who steals more. I'm going under eighteen, no children.
- 2:23:29Speaker 3: And I'll take the other one. I'll take the with
- 2:23:32Speaker 3: children over eighteen.
- 2:23:33Speaker 2: It's under eighteen by a million. Matter of fact, in
- 2:23:36Speaker 2: the entire poll. That's who steals the most out of
- 2:23:39Speaker 2: all of them is parents with children under the age
- 2:23:42Speaker 2: of eighteen years old. Kids are expensive. Kids are expensive.
- 2:23:45Speaker 2: And that's exactly what it says Jack. As people get
- 2:23:47Speaker 2: crunched and kids have younger kids, most of these parents
- 2:23:49Speaker 2: will go in, they'll steal a toy, they'll steal a
- 2:23:52Speaker 2: little something for the baby, whatever the case may be.
- 2:23:54Speaker 2: But that's exactly what it is.
- 2:23:57Speaker 5: Yep.
- 2:23:57Speaker 2: Food, by the way, tops the top thing stolen. Yeah,
- 2:24:01Speaker 2: more people admit stealing food than any other thing. Or
- 2:24:04Speaker 2: non alcoholic beverages. What do you think? The next thing
- 2:24:07Speaker 2: is body care? Thirty percent say they stole food or
- 2:24:11Speaker 2: non alcoholic beverages. What do twenty five percent of the
- 2:24:15Speaker 2: people polled say they steal like shampoo, yeah, makeup or
- 2:24:19Speaker 2: health and beauty Yeah, health and beauty was my guess,
- 2:24:22Speaker 2: clothing and accessories or jewelry or twenty clothing accessories or jewelry.
- 2:24:30Speaker 2: What you guys just said, twenty percent is one of
- 2:24:32Speaker 2: the lowest columns personal hygiene products, but it's still quite
- 2:24:36Speaker 2: a bit. Grocery stores are the ones hit the hardest. Yeah, yeah,
- 2:24:41Speaker 2: those are the ones who get stolen from the most.
- 2:24:45Speaker 2: Dollar stores get hit, Department stores get hit. Walmart lost
- 2:24:48Speaker 2: the most. They were the most frequently identified as one
- 2:24:51Speaker 2: of the easiest stores to shoplift from, and that we're
- 2:24:55Speaker 2: just putting that one out there. Well, it is a
- 2:24:57Speaker 2: news story now, I guess.
- 2:24:58Speaker 3: But this is interesting.
- 2:24:59Speaker 6: Someone texted us at seven seven zero three one my
- 2:25:01Speaker 6: friend's daughter didn't get into her college choice because she
- 2:25:05Speaker 6: sells ranties at Dillar.
- 2:25:07Speaker 2: That's right. Family Dollar was one, Amazon Fresh, and Kroger
- 2:25:12Speaker 2: all kind of round out the list of places stolen
- 2:25:14Speaker 2: from the most.
- 2:25:15Speaker 4: I'll jump out to that the defense of that Texas fan.
- 2:25:18Speaker 4: That college sucked anyways, I don't even know what it
- 2:25:21Speaker 4: was when you're nine over some stolen panties, do you?
- 2:25:25Speaker 4: You don't need that college?
- 2:25:26Speaker 2: All right? Four seven nine six four one texts seven
- 2:25:29Speaker 2: seven zero three one. Your six o'clock. Keyword is check.
- 2:25:31Speaker 2: That's cchgc K. You know what to do, guys, slid
- 2:25:34Speaker 2: over to real radio dot if him and send that
- 2:25:35Speaker 2: away for your chance at one thousand dollars.
- 2:25:37Speaker 6: They've got some news. Yeah, here we go again. The
- 2:25:40Speaker 6: FDA is investigating another outbreak. Universal Orlando updates their attendance
- 2:25:46Speaker 6: this summer and a familiar name we'll call Buccaneer's preseason game.
- 2:25:50Speaker 3: We'll talk about that next during year to Deer first,
- 2:25:52Speaker 3: you got it.
- 2:25:52Speaker 2: We'll take a little break, come back and get deb's
- 2:25:54Speaker 2: news and get the hell out of here. On a Thursdays,
- 2:25:56Speaker 2: get the intro today.

- 2:26:08Speaker 29: but you that echo had me Cayan earlier was so good.
- 2:26:14Speaker 2: Also, by the way, hot Dea is what I used
- 2:26:16Speaker 2: to strip on the back of the day. Damn it,
- 2:26:20Speaker 2: I had to confess.
- 2:26:23Speaker 14: I still it's the gallant, gallon, trash bag les in pilot,
- 2:26:31Speaker 14: bigger to roll more, I have to stocket, look around, rabbit,
- 2:26:37Speaker 14: hide it Jim McDonald's bag or something.
- 2:26:40Speaker 3: I know it's wrong, but just something about this trash bag.
- 2:26:44Speaker 2: I need him, I think them ooh with trash. Good lord.
- 2:26:51Speaker 7: Remember you talked about calling women or what names you
- 2:26:54Speaker 7: could call women.
- 2:26:55Speaker 2: Here's a new option for you.
- 2:26:58Speaker 26: Thank you.
- 2:27:05Speaker 23: I called people that is, when they're good, a whole
- 2:27:09Speaker 23: ought to be with. So dare I can get away
- 2:27:13Speaker 23: with it either way, you have better later later.
- 2:27:20Speaker 24: I don't mean to be one to correct the prophets,
- 2:27:25Speaker 24: but that movie the prophet covert mentioned was not The
- 2:27:31Speaker 24: American President with Michael Douglas, but that one is Dave
- 2:27:37Speaker 24: with Kevin Klein where he's looking like president.
- 2:27:40Speaker 2: You're right, buddy, Thank you, thank you.
- 2:27:43Speaker 11: That is all.
- 2:27:45Speaker 2: Thank you, sir, thank you. I love it when they

- 2:31:36Speaker 11: Yeah?
- 2:31:37Speaker 9: You did?
- 2:31:37Speaker 2: All right?
- 2:31:39Speaker 3: Tickets at oc dot org. Okay, oh yeah, I'm not
- 2:31:44Speaker 3: sure you want the echo for this?
- 2:31:46Speaker 6: Well, the FDA is investigating a new new The FDA
- 2:31:52Speaker 6: investigates what say, the a new outbreak of sounds forum.
- 2:32:04Speaker 6: That's pretty much it, according to the agency. All right,
- 2:32:08Speaker 6: echo gone.
- 2:32:09Speaker 14: Yeah.
- 2:32:10Speaker 6: According to the agency, seventy two cases have been connected
- 2:32:15Speaker 6: to the latest outbreak, which is not being linked to
- 2:32:18Speaker 6: the previously recalled lettuce. This is important because that means
- 2:32:22Speaker 6: there's something else out there that's going to make you really,
- 2:32:25Speaker 6: really sick, and they can't tell us what it is yet.
- 2:32:27Speaker 6: So cyclospora is the parasite capable of giving people extreme
- 2:32:31Speaker 6: stomach issues. You've heard us say before, explosive diarrhea. How
- 2:32:35Speaker 6: many active outbreak investigations is the FDA currently undertaking.
- 2:32:41Speaker 2: I think just in Michigan alone, they were like eight
- 2:32:43Speaker 2: or ten grand or no.
- 2:32:45Speaker 6: This is how many investigations into outbreaks the FDA is
- 2:32:48Speaker 6: looking into at this moment.
- 2:32:50Speaker 2: Fifteen. Yeah, I'll go like thirty five, I'll go twenty six.
- 2:32:53Speaker 6: Actually it's six six active outbreak investigations.
- 2:32:57Speaker 2: Isn't that the department where they kind of laid off people.
- 2:33:00Speaker 3: Gutted everything including the cyclospora tree or.
- 2:33:05Speaker 2: Tracking track tracking.
- 2:33:07Speaker 6: So the cause hasn't been identified, but the FDA said
- 2:33:10Speaker 6: it's conducting trace back efforts. Meanwhile, our state Health Department
- 2:33:13Speaker 6: says there are no more than one hundred and fifty
- 2:33:16Speaker 6: confirmed cases of the stomach parasite that were tied to
- 2:33:18Speaker 6: the lettuce. You have six and panelas County foign Hillsboro,
- 2:33:22Speaker 6: six in Polk and three in Pasco. Counties, fewer people
- 2:33:26Speaker 6: are putting Universal Orlando on their summer must do lists.
- 2:33:30Speaker 6: Executives from parent company Comcast today put part of the
- 2:33:33Speaker 6: blame for below expected attendance at its Orlando theme parks
- 2:33:37Speaker 6: on higher gas prices weaker consumer sentiment. They say the
- 2:33:40Speaker 6: quote softening began in June and it has continued, but
- 2:33:44Speaker 6: they didn't give exact numbers. The highlight remains Epic Nifor Universe,
- 2:33:48Speaker 6: of Course, which opened last year with the CEO saying
- 2:33:51Speaker 6: it's delivering quote, the strongest guest response we expected.
- 2:33:54Speaker 3: End quote.
- 2:33:55Speaker 6: And then finally, former Tampa Bay Buccaneers coach John Gruden
- 2:33:58Speaker 6: is returning to the broadcast booth.
- 2:34:00Speaker 2: Is it really?
- 2:34:01Speaker 6: The Bucks announced today that Gruden will be the play
- 2:34:03Speaker 6: by play man alongside Hall of Fame cornerback Rondie Barber
- 2:34:07Speaker 6: for their August twenty second preseason game against the Kansas
- 2:34:10Speaker 6: City Chiefs. The sixty two year old Super Bowl winning
- 2:34:13Speaker 6: coach recently said he'd like to try his hand at
- 2:34:15Speaker 6: play by play after a successful stint as a color
- 2:34:18Speaker 6: analyst on ESPN's Monday Night Football.
- 2:34:21Speaker 2: Yeah, that's a different game.
- 2:34:22Speaker 20: It is.
- 2:34:23Speaker 2: Way by play is not the same as color.
- 2:34:26Speaker 25: No it's not.
- 2:34:27Speaker 3: It's gonna be really interesting to see how well he
- 2:34:29Speaker 3: can handle.
- 2:34:30Speaker 2: That because the color for him is an absolute set deal.
- 2:34:33Speaker 2: Yeah you can't. I mean you can do whatever you want.
- 2:34:35Speaker 2: That's an editorial like dream, right, And I'll.
- 2:34:38Speaker 4: Throw this out here, dude, John Gruden used to be
- 2:34:41Speaker 4: so cool and awesome and then he went with barstool
- 2:34:44Speaker 4: and Barstool John Gruden. You can quote me on this
- 2:34:48Speaker 4: pretty cringe. Yeah, Barstool John Gruden lost his aura, Like
- 2:34:53Speaker 4: I would agree with that and all of that. Now
- 2:34:55Speaker 4: he's like the old guy that people love and respect
- 2:34:58Speaker 4: but also like.
- 2:34:59Speaker 2: Kind of make fun of them.
- 2:35:00Speaker 6: Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, it'll bit but either way, you
