- 0:02Speaker 1: Two T's in a pod with Teddy Mellencamp and Tamara Judge.
- 0:09Speaker 2: Hi guys, welcome to another episode of The Twat Seat
- 0:12Speaker 2: with myself, Teddy Mellencamp and Tamara Judge. And we have
- 0:15Speaker 2: a special guest with us here today.
- 0:16Speaker 3: I know, one that actually made us nervous.
- 0:18Speaker 2: I know, we're all nerved up.
- 0:19Speaker 4: We literally went into the bathroom when we were talking
- 0:22Speaker 4: and Teddy's like, I'm actually nervous for this interview. We
- 0:26Speaker 4: don't ever get nervous. No, because rumor has it you
- 0:29Speaker 4: storm out of interviews. Have you ever stormed out of
- 0:32Speaker 4: an interview?
- 0:32Speaker 3: Because we heard that.
- 0:33Speaker 1: Never in my life.
- 0:34Speaker 2: You've never gotten mad and left a couch or anything?
- 0:38Speaker 1: No. You would see it. Everything I do is filmed.
- 0:40Speaker 1: Where is that rumor from?
- 0:42Speaker 2: Did you just dream of that?
- 0:43Speaker 1: Is that from Facebook? Like the AI tabloids? I googled
- 0:48Speaker 1: what questions to ask you. Guys, Facebook's not real.
- 0:50Speaker 2: It's not. No, there's... I googled AI what questions to
- 0:55Speaker 2: ask you and they were like, don't push him too
- 0:56Speaker 2: hard or he will walk out.
- 0:58Speaker 1: No, I'm like, that's... Guys, you're getting, okay, we need
- 1:01Speaker 1: to have a talk. Okay, let's have a talk. Give
- 1:03Speaker 1: us a talk. So Facebook has these AI bots.
- 1:07Speaker 3: Oh, I know.
- 1:08Speaker 1: That basically create clickbaity stuff. Yes.
- 1:12Speaker 3: I'm getting divorced every week on that.
- 1:14Speaker 1: Yes, so you know, remember like Star Magazine, like the
- 1:16Speaker 1: aliens are here or like so-and-so had an affair, like
- 1:19Speaker 1: Pam Anderson had an affair with an alien. You assume
- 1:22Speaker 1: that people know it's not real.
- 1:24Speaker 3: Right.
- 1:25Speaker 1: But the problem is, and I've been talking to my like,
- 1:29Speaker 1: With my publicists, because they're like, Craig, no one reads
- 1:32Speaker 1: that stuff. Apparently, Teddy does. I do. But I was like, guys,
- 1:35Speaker 1: there's 300 comments on it.
- 1:36Speaker 2: Uh-huh.
- 1:37Speaker 1: And there's no, we've talked to Facebook. Like, there's no way.
- 1:40Speaker 1: You just have to let people just have.
- 1:42Speaker 2: To know it's not real.
- 1:43Speaker 3: Well, evidently, I do know somebody that tried to go
- 1:45Speaker 3: after them.
- 1:46Speaker 4: And evidently it's somebody overseas and they can't make the connection.
- 1:51Speaker 1: No. They can't stop it.
- 1:52Speaker 4: So do we do a class action lawsuit against Mark Zuckerberg?
- 1:56Speaker 1: Essentially it's going to– like when I've seen some get
- 1:59Speaker 1: so bad and, again, people are engaging with it. So
- 2:03Speaker 1: you're like– Yes. Yes. Is it just going to get
- 2:05Speaker 1: to the point where.
- 2:06Speaker 2: I feel so bad for you guys, but I get messages,
- 2:08Speaker 2: are you okay? We read you're dying.
- 2:10Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 2:11Speaker 2: I'm like, I'm good this week.
- 2:12Speaker 1: Well, everything's perspective, you know? Right, right.
- 2:15Speaker 3: My husband's a gambler. I'm a cheater.
- 2:18Speaker 1: Like, every week it's something new. No, I have a
- 2:20Speaker 1: friend that I did a show with, and she texted
- 2:23Speaker 1: me and was like, oh, my God. Like, I'm sorry. Like,
- 2:25Speaker 1: I didn't realize. Something like that. And it was the
- 2:27Speaker 1: same thing. And I couldn't put it together. And I
- 2:29Speaker 1: was like, where did you see that? And I was like, no,
- 2:33Speaker 1: I love you. And I had the best experience ever.
- 2:38Speaker 1: And we put together that it was like someone had
- 2:41Speaker 1: sent her the information that they got from Facebook.
- 2:43Speaker 3: My mom has called me and said, did you get
- 2:45Speaker 3: out of jail?
- 2:46Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 2:46Speaker 3: And I'm like, mom, I'm not. And she goes, I
- 2:48Speaker 3: read it on Facebook.
- 2:48Speaker 2: Long story short, I can't believe AI.
- 2:51Speaker 1: And that's why sometimes I'll hear stuff about myself and
- 2:54Speaker 1: I'm like, that's a filmed event. If that happened, we
- 2:57Speaker 1: would all see it.
- 2:58Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 3:00Speaker 3: Let's talk about your book.
- 3:01Speaker 1: Sure.
- 3:01Speaker 4: And you have it here with you. Is it available
- 3:05Speaker 4: for pre-orders yet? Because I think it comes out, what,
- 3:08Speaker 4: in October, right?
- 3:08Speaker 1: October 13th, yes. All the pre-ordered copies come signed, which
- 3:13Speaker 1: was a big push with my... publisher, they're like, you can't,
- 3:18Speaker 1: you're telling us you're gonna sign every, and I was like, yeah,
- 3:21Speaker 1: I'm gonna sign every single one. It's fun.
- 3:22Speaker 2: So how many did you have to sign?
- 3:23Speaker 1: 10,000. Did you get a stamp? 10,000? No, but I
- 3:26Speaker 1: should have. But I have all this footage of me
- 3:28Speaker 1: in my backyard. I have different stations in my house,
- 3:31Speaker 1: or I'll have Jack send them up to my parents' house.
- 3:34Speaker 4: Who Jack is with you right next to you, and
- 3:36Speaker 4: it's his birthday, so happy.
- 3:37Speaker 3: Birthday, Jack. So will we see this on the show
- 3:43Speaker 3: this season?
- 3:43Speaker 1: Yeah, actually, this season of Southern Charm is a little
- 3:47Speaker 1: more evolved. We're taking some chances and breaking out of
- 3:50Speaker 1: the typical formula.
- 3:51Speaker 2: What does that mean?
- 3:52Speaker 1: Just showing a little more of our life outside.
- 3:54Speaker 2: Of the bubble.
- 3:56Speaker 3: But I think everybody wants that.
- 3:57Speaker 1: They do. It's just scary for big... like networks that
- 4:02Speaker 1: have done something one way to do that.
- 4:03Speaker 4: Well, it's the same with a summer house. We wanted
- 4:06Speaker 4: to see more of their everyday lifestyle.
- 4:08Speaker 3: Now they have this.
- 4:09Speaker 1: And they just did a cash trip too. Like, and
- 4:11Speaker 1: they've never done a cash trip before, you know, like
- 4:13Speaker 1: we're taking baby steps, but it means a lot.
- 4:15Speaker 3: So how long have you been on the show?
- 4:17Speaker 1: Uh, we've been filming for 14 years, but we just
- 4:20Speaker 1: wrapped my 12th season.
- 4:21Speaker 2: It's a long time season.
- 4:22Speaker 1: Yeah. So I was 24 and I started, I'm 38 now.
- 4:24Speaker 1: And I'm like, guys, I don't fit. necessarily the exact
- 4:27Speaker 1: same box that I used to so and I think
- 4:30Speaker 1: a viewer likes to see the growth a little bit they.
- 4:32Speaker 2: Like to see the growth and then they like to
- 4:34Speaker 2: see the mistakes.
- 4:34Speaker 1: Right and I was like we're always taking like two
- 4:37Speaker 1: or three steps back but there are some steps forward
- 4:40Speaker 1: you know so you just have to balance it so
- 4:42Speaker 1: this year we have the book and me and Madison
- 4:45Speaker 1: have an incredible relationship I love her even off camera
- 4:48Speaker 1: and so it's a lot of me with her family
- 4:50Speaker 1: like Cause I know her baby really well. So I'm
- 4:52Speaker 1: always with like Teddy. And then when we read the
- 4:54Speaker 1: book to like Hudson has his input and Madison helps
- 4:57Speaker 1: me like write the ending and it's.
- 4:58Speaker 3: Oh, so she helped you with that?
- 5:00Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 5:00Speaker 1: Like, well, you know, a lot of like focus group stuff.
- 5:02Speaker 1: Like what do you think should happen? Cause I didn't
- 5:04Speaker 1: want to write a book where they became friends because
- 5:07Speaker 1: you don't in real life, the bullies mean, and you
- 5:09Speaker 1: never become friends with them.
- 5:10Speaker 4: So tell us about your book and what made you
- 5:12Speaker 4: want to write a book, a children's book.
- 5:14Speaker 1: Yeah. I remember signing my contract for Southern charm and
- 5:18Speaker 1: it being like, took me like six months to sign.
- 5:20Speaker 1: Cause it was back when Jersey shore was like the
- 5:22Speaker 1: only thing, I mean, the housewives were around, but we
- 5:24Speaker 1: didn't know about that world yet. Yeah. And Vanderpump had filmed,
- 5:28Speaker 1: but it wasn't out yet. And when I signed my contract,
- 5:31Speaker 1: I was like, I hope they have like TVs in
- 5:33Speaker 1: the jails in Delaware, you know, that, so the bullies
- 5:37Speaker 1: see that it like, like screw you. And I'm like,
- 5:39Speaker 1: how are you still thinking about the bullies? And they
- 5:41Speaker 1: really have an impact on your life. And they say,
- 5:44Speaker 1: fortunately for me, Once I got to reality TV, I
- 5:47Speaker 1: was like, okay, well you guys can't do anything that
- 5:50Speaker 1: is new. Yeah. Like I'm good here. Um, because I
- 5:54Speaker 1: had to sell validated a young age, but I wanted
- 5:56Speaker 1: to get the message across to kids that it's not a,
- 5:59Speaker 1: you problem. Like if you're getting bullied, it has nothing
- 6:01Speaker 1: to do with you. And what's funny is it goes
- 6:04Speaker 1: into adulthood now with technology. Um, but the goal with this,
- 6:08Speaker 1: instead of treating the scars of bullying is to almost
- 6:11Speaker 1: be proactive. And so when your child is at school
- 6:14Speaker 1: and someone's mean to them, they think it's weird that
- 6:16Speaker 1: that person's mean to them. Where it's like, okay, well,
- 6:18Speaker 1: whatever you're going through, when you're finished with that, come
- 6:22Speaker 1: play with us.
- 6:23Speaker 3: Were you bullied as a kid? What inspired you?
- 6:25Speaker 1: Yeah, I was bullied really bad as a kid. And
- 6:29Speaker 1: for no, well, I was going to say for no
- 6:32Speaker 1: apparent reason.
- 6:33Speaker 2: I was going to say, was that like a particular?
- 6:35Speaker 1: I was bullied by kids with bad home lives. So, like,
- 6:41Speaker 1: they were basically just doing to me what their parents
- 6:43Speaker 1: were doing to them at their house. So it's like,
- 6:45Speaker 1: you know, you get on the school bus and, like,
- 6:48Speaker 1: it was a weird place to be as a kid
- 6:49Speaker 1: to be empathetic to the bully. But I knew that
- 6:51Speaker 1: kid's dad was just beating him when he got home.
- 6:53Speaker 2: And where did you grow up?
- 6:55Speaker 1: In Delaware. In Delaware. And there was just a mean–
- 6:59Speaker 1: the bullying that I went through was mean. It wasn't–
- 7:03Speaker 1: there was no real reason. It was inner unhappiness, which–
- 7:06Speaker 1: you learn is most bullying, right? People just don't like
- 7:10Speaker 1: themselves or they're upset at themselves and they're deflecting. And
- 7:13Speaker 1: so I was very fortunate that I had a safe
- 7:16Speaker 1: place at home. And I feel really sad for kids
- 7:20Speaker 1: that like school's supposed to be your safe place and home.
- 7:23Speaker 1: But I knew if I could just get home at
- 7:25Speaker 1: the end of the day, I was good. But I
- 7:26Speaker 1: never told my parents.
- 7:27Speaker 2: That's what I was going to say. Did you tell
- 7:29Speaker 2: your parents?
- 7:29Speaker 1: No.
- 7:29Speaker 2: Because my kids are that age where they're starting to
- 7:31Speaker 2: share stuff with me. Some stuff I don't want to know. Like, honestly,
- 7:35Speaker 2: ask a friend, buddy.
- 7:35Speaker 3: But some things they don't want to share with you
- 7:37Speaker 3: as well.
- 7:38Speaker 1: No. Not mine.
- 7:39Speaker 4: Really?
- 7:40Speaker 1: Well, you're like, I mean, I just.
- 7:41Speaker 2: I've got all of your shares in my house.
- 7:42Speaker 1: That's good. I just didn't want to be a burden.
- 7:44Speaker 3: That's a good environment.
- 7:45Speaker 1: I couldn't process it. I didn't understand it. And I
- 7:47Speaker 1: didn't want to be a burden. And why I have
- 7:50Speaker 1: it in the book is because I, my parents did
- 7:52Speaker 1: everything right. And I still didn't tell them. And then
- 7:53Speaker 1: it manifested into. you know, tics and routines. And I
- 7:57Speaker 1: was like, so OCD, it was like so stressful. And
- 8:01Speaker 1: so that's covered in the book in a really lightweight,
- 8:03Speaker 1: basically how we did this book is there are things
- 8:05Speaker 1: in it that the child's not going to pick up
- 8:07Speaker 1: on unless the parent wants to use it as a tool.
- 8:09Speaker 1: So like there's a talent show and everyone has to
- 8:12Speaker 1: write out their hobbies. The bully doesn't have anything on
- 8:15Speaker 1: his paper. He's being mean at everyone else for writing
- 8:17Speaker 1: out their hobbies. He doesn't have any hobbies. So if
- 8:19Speaker 1: you want to point that out, you know, you can
- 8:22Speaker 1: and use.
- 8:22Speaker 2: It, you know, What are your ticks and numbers of?
- 8:25Speaker 2: Mine's three.
- 8:26Speaker 1: Oh, I mean, well, yeah, three is a good one.
- 8:29Speaker 1: I mean, the doors and the light switches and everything.
- 8:33Speaker 3: I have a daughter with OCD.
- 8:34Speaker 1: Yeah. My routines were, I mean, at one point it
- 8:37Speaker 1: took like an hour to go to bed and it sucked.
- 8:40Speaker 1: And then I developed one where I had to brush
- 8:42Speaker 1: my teeth a certain way and I would like throw
- 8:44Speaker 1: up in the morning or whatever. And then my blood
- 8:46Speaker 1: sugar would be off for that. And you were just
- 8:48Speaker 1: back then. It wasn't until I saw an MTV true
- 8:51Speaker 1: life episode on it where I was like, Oh my God.
- 8:54Speaker 1: They're doing it too. They're doing it too. Cause who
- 8:56Speaker 1: the heck are you going to ask back then? There
- 8:58Speaker 1: wasn't good. Like I thought I was just, you know,
- 9:01Speaker 1: well as a.
- 9:01Speaker 4: Mother and having a child going through this, the, she
- 9:05Speaker 4: had to tap and count and lock doors and lock
- 9:07Speaker 4: doors and unlock doors.
- 9:09Speaker 3: I'm like, what is going on?
- 9:10Speaker 1: No. And having, I've dated someone that wasn't, that didn't
- 9:16Speaker 1: understand it. And then my last relationship, thank God to
- 9:19Speaker 1: her credit, she, it didn't bother her. And that's when
- 9:22Speaker 1: the ticks really, Like if you are stressed that you
- 9:25Speaker 1: can't do it is when they are bad.
- 9:27Speaker 2: Like mine are going to come right now because we're
- 9:29Speaker 2: talking about it.
- 9:30Speaker 1: If you're comfortable where you're like, I have the freedom
- 9:32Speaker 1: to do it if I want, and it's not going
- 9:34Speaker 1: to bother anyone that it actually isn't that strong for me.
- 9:37Speaker 1: So making like.
- 9:38Speaker 4: A, is it true that OCD is stem from extreme anxiety?
- 9:43Speaker 1: I have no idea.
- 9:44Speaker 4: That's what I was told as a mom. Like, When
- 9:46Speaker 4: your child has OCD, basically what it is, is extreme anxiety.
- 9:51Speaker 1: I think it's probably heightened during stress, but like, I'm
- 9:53Speaker 1: not an anxious person now. And I, I mean, I
- 9:56Speaker 1: still have, I have light.
- 9:57Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 9:58Speaker 1: Yeah. I don't have ones that affect my day today.
- 10:09Speaker 1: I remember showing up to a cast photo shoot with
- 10:11Speaker 1: a case of beer and they're like, no, put it
- 10:13Speaker 1: back in her car. And I was like, well, because
- 10:15Speaker 1: I guess a housewives franchise had just gotten so drunk
- 10:19Speaker 1: at their cast photo shoot. They banned alcohol. Um, and no,
- 10:24Speaker 1: there are reunion. You can drink. Well, our whole cast, see,
- 10:29Speaker 1: I've done a number on us because I tend to
- 10:33Speaker 1: be rebellious with stuff. And so when I was still
- 10:37Speaker 1: drinking a lot, they could limit us a little bit,
- 10:41Speaker 1: but I was like, if you want us to do
- 10:42Speaker 1: our jobs, like, For the.
- 10:43Speaker 3: Record, we offered you alcohol and you said no. You declined.
- 10:47Speaker 1: I use it as a... It's a special thing in
- 10:49Speaker 1: my life now, which is.
- 10:50Speaker 2: So we're not special?
- 10:51Speaker 3: I was just going to say we're not very special.
- 10:53Speaker 1: You are, but this might.
- 10:54Speaker 4: We showed up early just to drink because you made
- 10:57Speaker 4: us nervous.
- 10:57Speaker 1: I usually show up with champagne. I have to do a...
- 11:00Speaker 1: wood chopping scene with my shirt off in like six days.
- 11:03Speaker 1: And I've just been so clean.
- 11:05Speaker 3: You're being very strict with your diet.
- 11:06Speaker 2: Cause I got paid.
- 11:07Speaker 1: For this scripted project and I was like, if they're
- 11:09Speaker 1: going to pay me, I might as well do it.
- 11:10Speaker 2: So tell us about some of the scripted stuff and
- 11:12Speaker 2: then we'll start drilling you on.
- 11:14Speaker 1: Sure. Um, I got to film, um, a movie recently, uh,
- 11:20Speaker 1: a feature and it was the coolest experience ever. It
- 11:23Speaker 1: reminded me of when our shows all first started and
- 11:27Speaker 1: it was really collaborative and creative. And, it was such
- 11:32Speaker 1: a special experience with the other cast members, like the
- 11:34Speaker 1: actresses and actors. And I was getting to fly back
- 11:37Speaker 1: and forth from Charleston cause we were wrapping Southern charm
- 11:40Speaker 1: at the time. And it was just, it was such
- 11:42Speaker 1: great balance. Um, so we're not sure when, where that'll
- 11:46Speaker 1: premiere yet, but we've got our fingers crossed for some
- 11:49Speaker 1: really cool places. And I just loved it for that was,
- 11:52Speaker 1: I was on set for three weeks there.
- 11:54Speaker 3: And, um, are we going to lose you to scripted?
- 11:57Speaker 1: No, I am not going anywhere from Southern charm. I
- 12:01Speaker 1: like filming, especially now that we're evolving to show more
- 12:04Speaker 1: of our lives. And so for 12 weeks a year,
- 12:07Speaker 1: I'm filming Southern Charm. And the other months, it seems
- 12:10Speaker 1: like there's really awesome support to do scripted stuff.
- 12:13Speaker 2: Are you still sewing?
- 12:14Speaker 1: Yeah. Yeah.
- 12:15Speaker 3: I feel like.
- 12:17Speaker 2: I can't even sew on a button.
- 12:18Speaker 3: I know. I wish I try.
- 12:20Speaker 1: I like it. It's a good thing to know.
- 12:21Speaker 4: But I feel like in the last year or so,
- 12:25Speaker 4: you've really had like a glow up.
- 12:28Speaker 3: Big time. You look amazing.
- 12:31Speaker 2: Come get a bedroom, Tamara.
- 12:34Speaker 3: I'm just saying, you look amazing. You look happy. You
- 12:37Speaker 3: look healthy. You don't look stressed. Your career is going
- 12:42Speaker 3: in different directions.
- 12:43Speaker 2: Do you feel that?
- 12:44Speaker 1: Yeah, I'm at a level of peace that I've never... Okay, look,
- 12:48Speaker 1: this is what's funny. And it's just the truth. I
- 12:52Speaker 1: had started my health journey about a year before the breakup.
- 12:58Speaker 1: And then what breakups do is they just, you don't
- 13:01Speaker 1: have a lot of places to turn. And fortunately I
- 13:05Speaker 1: threw myself into the gym, which is probably the healthy,
- 13:09Speaker 1: one of the healthier.
- 13:10Speaker 3: I see you running on Instagram.
- 13:11Speaker 1: Yeah. And, but that's because you find this, this place
- 13:17Speaker 1: and this inner peace that you want to share with
- 13:20Speaker 1: other people. And then you start to get jobs. And
- 13:22Speaker 1: then all of a sudden I was, ready for opportunities.
- 13:26Speaker 1: And so when the phone would like call, it wasn't, Oh,
- 13:29Speaker 1: I have to get ready for that. It's like, actually
- 13:31Speaker 1: I'm good to go. And that kind of started to
- 13:36Speaker 1: snowball and people, I showed up prepared for projects and
- 13:40Speaker 1: not hung over and just clear headed. And we know
- 13:44Speaker 1: how to be on set so well from all of
- 13:47Speaker 1: our years that like, as long as you're nice to
- 13:49Speaker 1: the crew and you're a joy to be around, then, Treat.
- 13:52Speaker 2: The crew well.
- 13:54Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 13:54Speaker 2: There's some people that just have a reputation for treating
- 13:56Speaker 2: the crew poorly, and you can see it in editing.
- 13:59Speaker 2: And I don't understand it.
- 14:00Speaker 1: No, and you're like, it's just like training like Fit
- 14:01Speaker 1: and Bev.
- 14:02Speaker 2: Yeah, like when you go to dinner with somebody and
- 14:04Speaker 2: they're a dick to their waiter, I'm like, I don't
- 14:06Speaker 2: want to have dinner with you.
- 14:08Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 14:08Speaker 4: You are not that person at all. We are not
- 14:10Speaker 4: those people that do that.
- 14:11Speaker 2: No.
- 14:11Speaker 3: We've seen it. It's been in the house my whole life.
- 14:13Speaker 2: We're not nice anywhere else, but we're nice for a meal.
- 14:17Speaker 2: We're not nice on this podcast.
- 14:19Speaker 1: No, you guys are so nice. I was a little nervous, too,
- 14:21Speaker 1: because I was like, what are they going to ask?
- 14:22Speaker 2: They're like, what do they ask on the twat seat?
- 14:23Speaker 1: No, because, I mean, we all know. That's what's fun
- 14:26Speaker 1: about the Bravo world and really all getting to know
- 14:29Speaker 1: each other more and more. I think every year that
- 14:31Speaker 1: goes by, they're starting to do more crossover projects and
- 14:35Speaker 1: BravoCon and FanFest.
- 14:36Speaker 3: Wait, you had a podcast with?
- 14:38Speaker 1: Austin. Austin.
- 14:39Speaker 3: Austin.
- 14:40Speaker 2: They had to falling out.
- 14:41Speaker 3: So no more, right?
- 14:42Speaker 1: No, it was really fun during COVID. And it was
- 14:45Speaker 1: a party podcast. I mean, shit. It was so fun.
- 14:48Speaker 3: So you had fun with it.
- 14:48Speaker 1: Yeah. And then, you know, life kind of cleaned. Like
- 14:51Speaker 1: the fog parted after COVID and things. And then it
- 14:55Speaker 1: becomes a job. And then different elements become involved. But no.
- 14:58Speaker 3: Would you want to get back into the podcasting world?
- 15:00Speaker 1: Yeah, I think. The reason I like podcasting is because
- 15:06Speaker 1: some people... on Bravo have a lot more life to share.
- 15:10Speaker 1: Some people don't. Some people get met in person and
- 15:13Speaker 1: the fans are like, damn, I liked you way better
- 15:15Speaker 1: on TV.
- 15:15Speaker 3: And also there's a lot of things that are edited out.
- 15:17Speaker 1: Well, that's what I mean. All of that context. And
- 15:20Speaker 1: I think we have this foundation to spread positivity and
- 15:25Speaker 1: make the world, you know, a better place and help you.
- 15:26Speaker 1: So many people have these parasocial relationships with us where
- 15:29Speaker 1: it's crazy. Yeah. And like, I like to, the more
- 15:35Speaker 1: we get to share of our lives with people, I
- 15:36Speaker 1: think the better. And you can only share so much
- 15:38Speaker 1: in a 40-minute episode.
- 15:39Speaker 3: Yeah, but also I think that you see a different
- 15:41Speaker 3: side to you.
- 15:42Speaker 2: Right.
- 15:42Speaker 3: That, you know, you're on a show.
- 15:44Speaker 2: You have a cast.
- 15:45Speaker 3: It's all about drama.
- 15:46Speaker 1: Yes.
- 15:46Speaker 3: That's not really how your life.
- 15:48Speaker 1: Is every single day. Hopefully not, you know.
- 15:49Speaker 3: Right, hopefully not.
- 15:51Speaker 4: And then you get on a podcast and they see, like,
- 15:52Speaker 4: your real true heart and who you are. And they're like,
- 15:55Speaker 4: so many people have said, like, oh, my God, I
- 15:57Speaker 4: love you on the podcast.
- 15:58Speaker 1: Right.
- 15:59Speaker 3: I mean, on Housewives, you're a little bit of a shitster,
- 16:02Speaker 3: but even with you as well.
- 16:03Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 16:04Speaker 2: Well, speaking of, this was our number one question. I
- 16:07Speaker 2: put it on Instagram. Okay.
- 16:08Speaker 1: Yes. I laughed when I saw that. I was like,
- 16:10Speaker 1: I can't imagine that they said people.
- 16:12Speaker 2: It's all about dating. It's all about dating.
- 16:14Speaker 1: Everybody wants to know who you're dating.
- 16:15Speaker 2: The first one was, and I think I already know
- 16:17Speaker 2: the answer to this. You can't answer us, even though
- 16:20Speaker 2: I know you're dying to. Who is your housewife crush?
- 16:25Speaker 1: Oh, that's a good question. I will say it's not
- 16:30Speaker 1: a crush, but me and Dorinda have been spending a
- 16:31Speaker 1: lot of time together recently. Not a crush. I mean,
- 16:33Speaker 1: I love Dorinda.
- 16:34Speaker 2: You didn't say the person I thought you were going
- 16:35Speaker 2: to say.
- 16:36Speaker 1: I don't know. Wait, who do you think I was
- 16:38Speaker 1: going to say?
- 16:39Speaker 2: I'm not going to say.
- 16:40Speaker 1: Well, you have to.
- 16:40Speaker 2: Well, you have to. I gave you like an underhand there.
- 16:43Speaker 2: But you can't do that.
- 16:44Speaker 1: Because I don't, I have such a good friendship.
- 16:46Speaker 3: Are you saying like Sally?
- 16:47Speaker 2: No, I said a housewife.
- 16:48Speaker 1: A housewife. Oh, a housewife. No, the reason is because
- 16:51Speaker 1: where I was filming in Massachusetts was right by Dorinda's.
- 16:54Speaker 1: And she was just in Australia with us. So that's
- 16:55Speaker 1: who I've been spending most time with.
- 16:56Speaker 4: Well, we actually have a new cast member on Orange County,
- 16:58Speaker 4: and her name is Carmela. She used to be married
- 17:01Speaker 4: to a professional football player, Jeff Garcia. I was thinking
- 17:04Speaker 4: you guys would be a really cute couple.
- 17:06Speaker 1: You guys set us up.
- 17:06Speaker 3: Okay, I'll set you up.
- 17:07Speaker 1: Since she's already open to having... To the Bravo universe.
- 17:12Speaker 3: Yeah, she's already in the, this is her first year though,
- 17:14Speaker 3: her first year.
- 17:15Speaker 1: Moms are like, oh, we want to set you up
- 17:17Speaker 1: with your daughter. I'm like, do you? Do you really want?
- 17:19Speaker 3: She was a playmate centerfold.
- 17:22Speaker 4: Okay.
- 17:22Speaker 3: And a WWE wrestler.
- 17:24Speaker 4: Nice.
- 17:25Speaker 3: I have to say, that's not the best resume, I think.
- 17:28Speaker 2: I think it's great.
- 17:28Speaker 3: I think for most guys, they're like, yeah.
- 17:31Speaker 1: She's like, this is what Craig wants to hear. Hey,
- 17:33Speaker 1: I did go to WrestleMania this year. That was on
- 17:35Speaker 1: my bucket list.
- 17:36Speaker 2: I mean, it is fun to do. I've gone with
- 17:38Speaker 2: my son.
- 17:38Speaker 1: Really? Yeah. I've got like a 12-month bucket list, and
- 17:42Speaker 1: that was April. Well, you'll have to tell me the
- 17:44Speaker 1: housewife later that you're thinking of. I know.
- 17:47Speaker 2: What franchise? I'm not going to say. Are you going
- 17:50Speaker 2: to say Doreen?
- 17:50Speaker 1: No.
- 17:52Speaker 3: I'm trying to think of single ones.
- 17:55Speaker 2: Did I say a single housewife? Wait, you're going to
- 17:57Speaker 2: hook them up.
- 17:58Speaker 3: With a married one? What kind of asshole are you?
- 18:00Speaker 2: I didn't say hook them up.
- 18:01Speaker 1: Yeah, which show should I cross over onto next?
- 18:03Speaker 2: No, I didn't. We'll fight occasionally. No, all I said
- 18:07Speaker 2: was who is your most, like who would you have
- 18:10Speaker 2: the biggest crush on that's a housewife? I didn't say
- 18:12Speaker 2: married or not married. It could be anyone. He could say,
- 18:14Speaker 2: is it Giselle?
- 18:15Speaker 3: Just tell us what franchise.
- 18:16Speaker 2: I'm not.
- 18:17Speaker 1: Oh, I got close. Oh, you know who is awesome
- 18:19Speaker 1: in Australia too? I don't know if you know her,
- 18:21Speaker 1: but Cynthia Bailey was awesome.
- 18:23Speaker 2: Love her.
- 18:23Speaker 1: Oh, we love her. She's fantastic. We are obsessed with her.
- 18:25Speaker 1: She was on Girls Trip, wasn't she?
- 18:26Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah.
- 18:28Speaker 3: We know her very well.
- 18:29Speaker 1: We just had a great time.
- 18:31Speaker 3: She's a lot of fun.
- 18:32Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 18:32Speaker 2: Can you tell us a little inside scoop because I
- 18:34Speaker 2: haven't asked him yet?
- 18:35Speaker 1: Sure.
- 18:36Speaker 2: Is Shut Back with Taylor?
- 18:38Speaker 1: You got to watch this season.
- 18:40Speaker 3: So I was with Sally in Napa.
- 18:42Speaker 1: Sally's a trip.
- 18:43Speaker 2: Oh, she's fun.
- 18:44Speaker 1: In February.
- 18:45Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 18:46Speaker 3: And I think it was February.
- 18:48Speaker 4: And she told me that we were actually doing an interview.
- 18:53Speaker 4: And the news broke that Gaston and Taylor had broken up.
- 18:58Speaker 4: She had some choice words to say at that point.
- 19:00Speaker 3: I mean, like, it was crazy. And also she told
- 19:02Speaker 3: us about her time with Kyle Cook.
- 19:05Speaker 2: Well, I was going to say, how does it feel
- 19:06Speaker 2: knowing that she has publicly shamed you?
- 19:08Speaker 1: Who? Who?
- 19:09Speaker 2: Sally, she publicly said that Kyle Cook is the best
- 19:13Speaker 2: sex she's ever had in her life.
- 19:14Speaker 1: Sally and I have never even kissed. What? Yeah, where
- 19:18Speaker 1: do you guys get your info? This is what's so funny.
- 19:21Speaker 2: Well, we're just watching the show. You're just hot tubbing
- 19:23Speaker 2: around all the time.
- 19:25Speaker 1: Yeah, but it was with Charlie and Corey. That's what
- 19:27Speaker 1: they cut out of the show. So we and Sally
- 19:29Speaker 1: have never been in a hot tub by ourselves together, ever.
- 19:31Speaker 3: Oh, so you were more into Charlie then.
- 19:33Speaker 1: But I won't say that Sally probably our connection... It was,
- 19:40Speaker 1: it was more, I didn't see, I thought we were
- 19:43Speaker 1: like best friends because I was with Charlie and Sally,
- 19:48Speaker 1: like it was her friend. and I think we got
- 19:51Speaker 1: close and she was like maybe we should try this
- 19:54Speaker 1: but I was like we're no I was but.
- 19:56Speaker 2: It's before after Austin in real life.
- 20:00Speaker 1: Before way before yeah way before okay um But Sally
- 20:06Speaker 1: and I are so close now, and it's exactly how
- 20:09Speaker 1: it should be. I love her. We have the funniest friends.
- 20:11Speaker 1: Because I get to come in and out a lot
- 20:13Speaker 1: this year because, again, it's a little more of me
- 20:16Speaker 1: staying as busy as I usually am. And she is
- 20:20Speaker 1: a trip because I– have such a soft spot for her.
- 20:23Speaker 1: So I defend her a lot. And sometimes people are like, Craig,
- 20:28Speaker 1: you need to go talk to everyone else. You need
- 20:30Speaker 1: to go find out, like you only ever have her
- 20:32Speaker 1: side of the story.
- 20:33Speaker 2: Well, I got really sad last year. I think it
- 20:35Speaker 2: was at the finale of Southern Charm when Sally's like
- 20:38Speaker 2: sitting there begging Austin to come back in and party
- 20:42Speaker 2: with her. And he's like, no, I'm going to go.
- 20:45Speaker 1: I'm out.
- 20:45Speaker 2: And she's like, well, can I come with you?
- 20:47Speaker 3: I just want to see why Sally's not taken. She's
- 20:51Speaker 3: got an amazing job.
- 20:52Speaker 1: Sally's a catch. She's a catch.
- 20:55Speaker 3: Andy said it at the reunion.
- 20:56Speaker 1: She is a catch. I mean, what's neat about our
- 21:01Speaker 1: shows is she really, to her credit, opens up so
- 21:05Speaker 1: much this year. Because I can read people well, and
- 21:08Speaker 1: I kind of knew some of the stuff that she
- 21:10Speaker 1: tells me this year, but she really tells me, and
- 21:12Speaker 1: I'm like, if you're willing to talk about that stuff
- 21:14Speaker 1: on television, you might really help some people, just stuff
- 21:17Speaker 1: that she went through in her past. But then I
- 21:20Speaker 1: get to be like, do you think that has anything
- 21:22Speaker 1: to do with why you do this now? And she's
- 21:26Speaker 1: like a hundred percent. And I'm like, so you get
- 21:28Speaker 1: to have, you get to have these fun, you know, combos,
- 21:30Speaker 1: like hopefully people, you know, hopefully we see it. But, um, she,
- 21:36Speaker 1: I sometimes I have to check her though. Cause I'm
- 21:38Speaker 1: kind of the fixer for our, like, If a cast
- 21:40Speaker 1: member needs something done, call me or problem solve. But
- 21:43Speaker 1: I'm not the one to call and just gossip for
- 21:45Speaker 1: a half hour.
- 21:46Speaker 2: Okay, so give me a problem-solving scenario.
- 21:49Speaker 1: There are usually stuff that they're not talked about. Stuff
- 21:53Speaker 1: that's happening on the show? No, just in life or whatever.
- 21:56Speaker 3: Behind-the-scenes conversations?
- 21:58Speaker 1: But she'll call me sometimes and I'm like, all right,
- 22:00Speaker 1: call Austin for that. I'll be like, Sally, what's up?
- 22:03Speaker 1: I'm about to go on stage somewhere. And she's like,
- 22:04Speaker 1: I'm in Canada dealing with this or the Hamptons.
- 22:08Speaker 2: And.
- 22:09Speaker 1: But the gossip stuff, they call Austin. But I'm like
- 22:12Speaker 1: a short phone call.
- 22:12Speaker 3: Are you and Austin good right now?
- 22:13Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah. Oh, good.
- 22:14Speaker 2: So you're good with everybody this season?
- 22:16Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 22:17Speaker 2: He's a therapist this season.
- 22:18Speaker 1: No, well, look, usually in Charleston, like, I am friends
- 22:23Speaker 1: with everyone. I think filming causes some stuff sometimes, you know,
- 22:28Speaker 1: which we don't always understand. But this season is really
- 22:31Speaker 1: fun again, and it's fun to film, and it was
- 22:34Speaker 1: fun to be around everyone. Oh, I can't wait. I'm
- 22:36Speaker 1: taking the cast to dinner. We've never done that before
- 22:39Speaker 1: outside of filming. We have an active group chat. Oh, wow.
- 22:43Speaker 1: Our cast is in a really good spot right now.
- 22:45Speaker 3: What changed, do you think?
- 22:46Speaker 1: I think people realized that there was another way, a
- 22:51Speaker 1: better way to film. You know, that the tearing... If
- 22:55Speaker 1: something's not real, don't do it. You know, just be yourself.
- 22:57Speaker 1: We're getting back to that.
- 22:59Speaker 4: But don't you feel like they're getting back to that
- 23:01Speaker 4: and Bravo across all?
- 23:02Speaker 1: People don't want to see the other thing anymore. Some
- 23:05Speaker 1: instigators got casted across the shows. Some snuck on, as
- 23:09Speaker 1: we saw on other shows. And then it caused such
- 23:12Speaker 1: high ratings when like an instigator that didn't have good
- 23:15Speaker 1: intentions got on a show. I think producers in other
- 23:19Speaker 1: shows were like, hey, that kind of worked. And then
- 23:21Speaker 1: there was instigators casted on other shows. And it's like,
- 23:23Speaker 1: we don't, with this person like never would we be
- 23:26Speaker 1: at dinner with this human being at least for southern
- 23:29Speaker 1: charm now it's back to this is what's going on
- 23:31Speaker 1: in charleston.
- 23:32Speaker 2: And is molly still on because she's my favorite molly's
- 23:36Speaker 2: there she's your favorite i love molly she's just so
- 23:39Speaker 2: nice she is nice i'm like my aspire to be
- 23:42Speaker 2: as nice as molly like she can.
- 23:44Speaker 4: Play an instrument that i don't even know what it's
- 23:46Speaker 4: never gonna happen.
- 23:47Speaker 1: She's not in your dna she's great we have a
- 23:50Speaker 1: I just wrote down the list. Our cast is insanely
- 23:53Speaker 1: big right now. It's like 13 or 14 people.
- 23:55Speaker 2: Did you get new.
- 23:55Speaker 3: People this year?
- 23:56Speaker 1: One.
- 23:57Speaker 2: One. If you could bring somebody back, would you get Catherine, Cameron,
- 24:00Speaker 2: or Naomi?
- 24:02Speaker 1: Catherine. Because we don't have a show without her.
- 24:05Speaker 2: Yeah, you miss her.
- 24:06Speaker 3: Where is she nowadays?
- 24:07Speaker 2: Not jail.
- 24:08Speaker 1: She's not in jail. Hopefully she's doing well. Hopefully she'll
- 24:11Speaker 1: come back to the show one day. Cam, I mean,
- 24:13Speaker 1: we love Cam. Cam was great. But I think, you know...
- 24:18Speaker 1: To have Catherine come back years later would be such
- 24:22Speaker 1: a breath of fresh air.
- 24:23Speaker 3: I feel like that would be a big moment.
- 24:25Speaker 1: It really would.
- 24:26Speaker 3: It would.
- 24:26Speaker 1: And I think.
- 24:28Speaker 3: It'd be like NeNe coming back to Housewives.
- 24:30Speaker 2: But Catherine has always been. By the way, I just
- 24:32Speaker 2: made that dig at her. But she's every time I've
- 24:35Speaker 2: seen her, she's been incredibly nice to me and like
- 24:37Speaker 2: kind and like.
- 24:39Speaker 1: She is.
- 24:39Speaker 3: She's a nice person.
- 24:40Speaker 2: And I can't say that about everybody.
- 24:41Speaker 1: She just has. I mean, look, we all have, you know,
- 24:44Speaker 1: our demons and stuff. And it's just whether you can get.
- 24:47Speaker 1: ahead of them or not.
- 24:48Speaker 3: Get through it. Yeah.
- 24:49Speaker 1: Yeah. But yeah, that would be, I think it would
- 24:53Speaker 1: be really great. And it's, it would be that fresh
- 24:56Speaker 1: air of just honesty. You know, people can be a
- 25:00Speaker 1: little more careful on the shows these days back. Like,
- 25:04Speaker 1: I think there's a big difference about a young show where,
- 25:07Speaker 1: and we all know the next season is not guaranteed,
- 25:10Speaker 1: but the new people don't know that old people remember
- 25:13Speaker 1: where we didn't know if we were going to get
- 25:14Speaker 1: a second, third, fourth season. And you had to like,
- 25:17Speaker 1: Give it your all.
- 25:18Speaker 4: I filmed 16 seasons thinking this was going to be
- 25:20Speaker 4: the last season.
- 25:21Speaker 1: That's how we think. But I think like that's.
- 25:23Speaker 4: How you should do it because then you have other
- 25:24Speaker 4: people on the show that think like this is going
- 25:26Speaker 4: to go on forever and they're spending their money like crazy.
- 25:29Speaker 4: I'm over there hoarding it, investing it, doing this, doing
- 25:32Speaker 4: that because I'm always worried every year I'm getting fired.
- 25:34Speaker 1: And that's what Andy was always good to me. He
- 25:36Speaker 1: was like, tell me you're saving your money. Tell me
- 25:38Speaker 1: you're saving your money. And then you're like, do you
- 25:39Speaker 1: know something that I don't know? And he's like, no,
- 25:41Speaker 1: save your money.
- 25:42Speaker 4: So when I got let go, he called me and
- 25:45Speaker 4: he goes, listen, hang tight, you're probably going to be back.
- 25:48Speaker 4: He goes, did you save your money? And I said, yeah,
- 25:51Speaker 4: I have.
- 25:51Speaker 1: That's good.
- 25:52Speaker 2: Okay, good.
- 25:53Speaker 1: But the people that join franchise shows or whatever it's
- 25:57Speaker 1: called is like, that's not the word, but they could
- 26:00Speaker 1: join in like seventh season to them. They can be
- 26:03Speaker 1: a little more individualistic and stuff because they think the
- 26:06Speaker 1: show is just going to continue.
- 26:07Speaker 2: Do you think it makes it for a worse cast
- 26:09Speaker 2: member or a better cast member when they have seen
- 26:11Speaker 2: the show versus not seeing the show? Worse.
- 26:14Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 26:14Speaker 3: Yeah, I agree.
- 26:15Speaker 1: Yeah, you got to be raw. But you can't find
- 26:17Speaker 1: them anywhere.
- 26:18Speaker 2: It's hard.
- 26:19Speaker 1: And here's the problem. When you do, they don't fit
- 26:23Speaker 1: what necessarily everyone's looking for at that time. Yeah. And
- 26:29Speaker 1: as a cast member, you're going to see it differently
- 26:30Speaker 1: where you're like, I'm telling you this person's going to
- 26:32Speaker 1: be great because they don't know what's going on.
- 26:34Speaker 3: Do you like the new cast member?
- 26:36Speaker 1: She's a sweetheart. Yeah.
- 26:37Speaker 3: It's a she.
- 26:38Speaker 1: We have that.
- 26:39Speaker 2: Who's she closest with? That's all we need to know.
- 26:42Speaker 3: And are you dating her?
- 26:45Speaker 1: No, I'm not dating her. I mean.
- 26:47Speaker 3: Kiss, touched.
- 26:51Speaker 1: I don't know. I mean, her and I had a
- 26:52Speaker 1: good friendship.
- 26:53Speaker 3: Was there an intimacy expert in there?
- 26:56Speaker 2: For the record, guys, Craig has a rep in here
- 26:59Speaker 2: with him that does a head shake, yes or no,
- 27:03Speaker 2: when he's allowed to answer questions.
- 27:04Speaker 1: Well, because I get in trouble with it. Because our
- 27:08Speaker 1: relationship with Bravo is so good and I mean well,
- 27:10Speaker 1: but I get very talkative sometimes. But no, the new
- 27:13Speaker 1: season is going to be, it'll be fun and great.
- 27:15Speaker 1: Like there's, it's a refreshing, like our viewer, as long
- 27:20Speaker 1: as it looks like what we filmed will be happy
- 27:24Speaker 1: and refreshed. And that's all I care about.
- 27:26Speaker 3: Do we see you dating this season?
- 27:28Speaker 1: Um, you.
- 27:30Speaker 3: And not your cast members.
- 27:32Speaker 1: I think you just have to wait and see.
- 27:34Speaker 2: Oh, so we don't see Charlie this season.
- 27:37Speaker 1: Charlie's around. But she's dating someone on Southern Hospital.
- 27:40Speaker 3: Yeah, we heard that.
- 27:41Speaker 1: Southern Hospital. Southern Hospitality.
- 27:43Speaker 3: Somebody on General Hospital.
- 27:46Speaker 1: No, she.
- 27:47Speaker 2: These are the days of our lives.
- 27:49Speaker 1: I think you'll pick up more that like so many
- 27:52Speaker 1: people are at our events from the town because you'll
- 27:55Speaker 1: recognize her and be like, oh, there's Charlie.
- 27:57Speaker 3: She's beautiful.
- 27:58Speaker 1: Yeah, she's a very pretty girl.
- 27:59Speaker 3: She's a very pretty girl.
- 27:59Speaker 1: She just ran into Stassi in Austria. And so I
- 28:03Speaker 1: invited her to the guest dinner. And she's like, oh,
- 28:06Speaker 1: I'm so bummed. I'm in. Out of the country. But
- 28:09Speaker 1: guess what? I just ran into Stassi in Austria. And
- 28:11Speaker 1: I was like, what are the chances?
- 28:12Speaker 3: Like just vacationing?
- 28:14Speaker 1: Or was it a... I didn't really follow up because...
- 28:15Speaker 1: Stassi's on Hulu now. Yes, she is.
- 28:17Speaker 2: She's number one.
- 28:18Speaker 3: I know. She's doing an amazing job. She's a great
- 28:20Speaker 3: reality star.
- 28:21Speaker 2: We love Stassi.
- 28:23Speaker 1: Yeah. I love her. She's born for it.
- 28:24Speaker 2: Have you ever thought about doing any other one of
- 28:27Speaker 2: the franchises on Bravo?
- 28:31Speaker 1: I mean... No. No? I mean, I was friends with
- 28:36Speaker 1: the original Vanderpump cast. It was fun to visit.
- 28:40Speaker 2: So you like Jax?
- 28:42Speaker 1: I don't know him that well.
- 28:46Speaker 3: She loves us, just in case you were wondering.
- 28:49Speaker 1: She loves. I used to be there when they were filming,
- 28:51Speaker 1: but they wouldn't show it because back then they were like,
- 28:52Speaker 1: it doesn't make sense. Stassi was at me and Naomi's breakup,
- 28:55Speaker 1: sitting at the bar watching. And I was like, why
- 28:58Speaker 1: would you not just pan the camera and show that
- 29:00Speaker 1: Stassi's there? But they're like, it doesn't make sense that
- 29:02Speaker 1: you guys are friends. But it does. People want to
- 29:05Speaker 1: see that. But we are friends.
- 29:07Speaker 2: Does Naomi is married with a baby now?
- 29:10Speaker 1: No, no, no. She's married. She just got married a
- 29:12Speaker 1: couple weeks ago.
- 29:13Speaker 2: Okay.
- 29:14Speaker 1: He's a super nice guy. It's Brooks Nader's ex-husband. That's
- 29:19Speaker 1: the dancing guy?
- 29:21Speaker 2: No, it's not. Brooks Nader is a female.
- 29:23Speaker 3: Yeah. So who's her first husband?
- 29:26Speaker 2: I don't know.
- 29:26Speaker 1: That's Naomi's current husband. Yeah, I know.
- 29:28Speaker 2: Who is he? Is he like in the business or not?
- 29:30Speaker 1: Is he hot? He's got to be. Jack says yes.
- 29:33Speaker 3: He's got two hot girls.
- 29:34Speaker 1: He's got to be. It was super nice to me.
- 29:37Speaker 1: Andy asked me about him on Watch What Happens One Time,
- 29:39Speaker 1: and I know they're mutual friends out in like Venice Beach.
- 29:43Speaker 1: And I was like, all I've ever heard is nice
- 29:46Speaker 1: things about him. And so apparently he spends half the
- 29:49Speaker 1: week in New York, and I spend basically every other
- 29:51Speaker 1: week in New York. And so he's on my flight
- 29:53Speaker 1: a lot.
- 29:54Speaker 2: So you still do that?
- 29:55Speaker 1: Yeah, I never stop. Like Jen. Yeah. That's what people
- 29:58Speaker 1: get confused. Like, oh, now you're like, I was like,
- 30:00Speaker 1: I've never not spent half my time in New York.
- 30:02Speaker 1: So he came up to me.
- 30:04Speaker 2: Do you have an apartment in New York?
- 30:05Speaker 1: About to in January. Okay.
- 30:07Speaker 3: Would you ever move to LA?
- 30:09Speaker 1: For a project. Charleston will always be home. Like Charleston
- 30:12Speaker 1: is my home base.
- 30:13Speaker 3: But that's not where you're from.
- 30:13Speaker 1: But I don't like sitting still too often. No, I'm
- 30:17Speaker 1: from Delaware. So I promised my parents I'd go home
- 30:19Speaker 1: once a month and I do. So even for just
- 30:20Speaker 1: a day, I'll drive down from New York and see them. But, yeah,
- 30:25Speaker 1: so anyway, she just got married. And he's nice. He
- 30:27Speaker 1: came up to me and introduced himself one day after
- 30:30Speaker 1: our flight. And I think he's a finance guy. Oh,
- 30:34Speaker 1: that's always good. She's doing well. She's doing fine, yeah.
- 30:36Speaker 2: Who do you think is the biggest character in Southern Charm? Like,
- 30:40Speaker 2: if you had to pick, you can't pick yourself.
- 30:42Speaker 1: I mean, look, Thomas and Catherine were– we didn't have
- 30:45Speaker 1: to do anything. We would just show up and be like–
- 30:48Speaker 1: and see what was going on that day. I mean,
- 30:51Speaker 1: Ashley was– I don't think there will ever be someone
- 30:54Speaker 1: like Ashley again, even though I don't even think she
- 30:56Speaker 1: was a cast member.
- 30:58Speaker 3: What about Thomas, though? Is he still around?
- 31:00Speaker 1: He lives two hours away in horse country, Aiken. I
- 31:04Speaker 1: think he has a horse farm. He showed up one night,
- 31:08Speaker 1: and they didn't let him in, and I was so pissed. No!
- 31:12Speaker 1: It wasn't in the plan, you know? I know.
- 31:14Speaker 2: It wasn't in the plan. It's not going to work
- 31:15Speaker 2: with storyline, but it works for us. Like, I would
- 31:17Speaker 2: have loved to see Thomas Ravenel.
- 31:18Speaker 1: I would love for there to be a docu-follow of
- 31:21Speaker 1: us making... the show, you know? Yeah.
- 31:24Speaker 2: That would be awesome. That would be amazing.
- 31:25Speaker 1: Because think about, like, the fights that happen when the
- 31:29Speaker 1: cameras are down, too, you know, or anything. Like, yeah.
- 31:35Speaker 3: So this season, you just wrapped this season?
- 31:37Speaker 1: Yes.
- 31:38Speaker 3: And you don't know when it's going to air yet?
- 31:40Speaker 1: Yeah. I don't know if the public does. Oh.
- 31:43Speaker 3: Is it this year or next year?
- 31:44Speaker 1: It's this year.
- 31:45Speaker 2: Oh, good.
- 31:46Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 31:46Speaker 2: Amazing.
- 31:47Speaker 3: We're so excited.
- 31:48Speaker 2: Yeah, we're so excited.
- 31:48Speaker 3: Because we cover your show.
- 31:49Speaker 1: So we're super excited about that. Yeah, it'll be fun. Like, I, again, well,
- 31:54Speaker 1: you're always excited before, you know, I think, um, but
- 31:57Speaker 1: I'm really excited about this one. We have a good
- 32:00Speaker 1: crew and we go on my favorite cast trip we've
- 32:02Speaker 1: ever been on.
- 32:02Speaker 2: Do you get mad at all?
- 32:04Speaker 1: No.
- 32:05Speaker 3: Do you think you have a good season?
- 32:07Speaker 1: I mean, I was just myself, you know, like you
- 32:09Speaker 1: never know what is going to happen, but I don't
- 32:11Speaker 1: get mad last year. You know, it was unfortunate because,
- 32:15Speaker 1: and this is what a lot of the all season
- 32:17Speaker 1: meetings were on was, um, you know, had a terrible
- 32:21Speaker 1: night in Mexico, but for a year, prior to that.
- 32:25Speaker 1: I didn't. And a year after I didn't. And I
- 32:28Speaker 1: was like, I wish I could show people that like,
- 32:30Speaker 1: you're gonna have mishaps, but that doesn't mean now I
- 32:35Speaker 1: had one bad night in two years instead of a
- 32:38Speaker 1: couple of bad nights a month, you know, like there
- 32:41Speaker 1: is progress there and that you don't have to fix everything.
- 32:45Speaker 1: And so I was a little bummed because I You know,
- 32:49Speaker 1: that's just, you know, so you never know. But no,
- 32:52Speaker 1: there's no, I don't drink an entire bottle of tequila
- 32:54Speaker 1: in like three hours this year.
- 32:56Speaker 3: Oh God, I love when you do that.
- 32:57Speaker 1: No, I have a lot of fun. I have a
- 32:59Speaker 1: lot of fun this year. But again, I'm friends with
- 33:02Speaker 1: everyone and I'm not in like, it just last year
- 33:05Speaker 1: was intense. Also, I never realized that I was only,
- 33:07Speaker 1: I didn't give myself, not myself credit, but I was
- 33:11Speaker 1: three months out of a breakup. I didn't know that.
- 33:12Speaker 2: But where's Vanita now? Is she in this season?
- 33:15Speaker 1: Yeah, we're good friends.
- 33:16Speaker 3: You are?
- 33:17Speaker 1: Yeah. That's why. And it's fun because when I was
- 33:20Speaker 1: in Australia, she was in Paris with her mom and
- 33:22Speaker 1: we were the only ones like awake. And so she'll
- 33:24Speaker 1: be at the cast dinner Friday.
- 33:26Speaker 2: Yeah. I love her.
- 33:27Speaker 4: Now that you're on the other side of your breakup,
- 33:30Speaker 4: are you just like thinking Jesus? Like, cause it feels
- 33:34Speaker 4: like you're doing so many amazing things.
- 33:36Speaker 3: You look so good.
- 33:37Speaker 2: You're happy.
- 33:39Speaker 1: Well, no, because it would have like those there. I've
- 33:42Speaker 1: now believe that like there's people for you in different
- 33:45Speaker 1: chapters and Because for three years, like we just leveled
- 33:49Speaker 1: each other up. Like it was awesome.
- 33:57Speaker 2: Do you plan on settling down or playing the field
- 34:00Speaker 2: for a while?
- 34:00Speaker 1: Oh, I'm not. I mean, if someone, I just date
- 34:03Speaker 1: with intent. Like if I meet someone that I have
- 34:05Speaker 1: chemistry with, I will explore it. But I mean, I
- 34:08Speaker 1: haven't messaged, I haven't had someone to message or text
- 34:11Speaker 1: in a long time.
- 34:12Speaker 2: I heard that you were on Raya.
- 34:14Speaker 1: Yeah, well, everyone's on Raya, but you don't... No, I'm not.
- 34:16Speaker 2: I couldn't get in.
- 34:16Speaker 1: Really?
- 34:17Speaker 2: No, they wouldn't let me into Raya. No, they don't
- 34:21Speaker 2: let any half-sides on Raya.
- 34:22Speaker 1: Raya's good for the early times where you need some validation, because,
- 34:27Speaker 1: you know, it means someone else thinks you're attractive or cool,
- 34:30Speaker 1: but I've never... I do know some people that meet up,
- 34:33Speaker 1: but I've never, like, messaged or met up with anyone.
- 34:36Speaker 1: I should... I'm working on not being as shy these days, but...
- 34:40Speaker 1: But no, I wouldn't say that I'm happy. Like it
- 34:43Speaker 1: wasn't that I was happy to be out. Like I
- 34:44Speaker 1: just have such good memories of like, I'm such a
- 34:47Speaker 1: positive person that it was like fun while it lasted.
- 34:51Speaker 1: And then I was thinking the other day, I was like,
- 34:53Speaker 1: here's the neat, interesting part who I've become today. I
- 34:59Speaker 1: wonder if I met, you know, so we've got two
- 35:02Speaker 1: years of growing in our own directions. I wonder if
- 35:06Speaker 1: this version of me and that version or this version
- 35:08Speaker 1: of her met like if we would even consider going out.
- 35:12Speaker 1: And that's not because we dated or broke up. That's
- 35:14Speaker 1: just because every year of your life, you're evolving into
- 35:17Speaker 1: this more and more of a person. So it's kind
- 35:19Speaker 1: of a blessing to think, I mean, I don't want
- 35:22Speaker 1: to be single anymore, but the more I am.
- 35:24Speaker 2: Like, but did you sell the diamond? That's what I
- 35:27Speaker 2: need to know. Cause diamonds are worth nothing. Cause I
- 35:29Speaker 2: just tried to sell mine.
- 35:30Speaker 1: He, my jeweler, I might just, so I gave it back.
- 35:33Speaker 1: So the way that I, a lot of people don't
- 35:35Speaker 1: understand the ring process. They thought you just go into
- 35:37Speaker 1: a store and buy, ring, but no, I bought a
- 35:40Speaker 1: stone and then had it made, um, in New York.
- 35:43Speaker 1: And so I gave it back to him whenever. And
- 35:48Speaker 1: I did get a surprise text. I told Madison like
- 35:50Speaker 1: a month ago, he's like, I have a buyer for
- 35:52Speaker 1: the stone. You're going to eat some, but, and is
- 35:56Speaker 1: this number okay? And I was like, yeah, that's great.
- 35:59Speaker 1: And for me, it was kind of a bonus because
- 36:00Speaker 1: I had forgotten about it. But of course I bought
- 36:03Speaker 1: like a very popular cut at the time. And now, like,
- 36:07Speaker 1: demand for that cut is down. So maybe I need
- 36:09Speaker 1: to sell mine. I was going to buy a rental
- 36:10Speaker 1: property with it.
- 36:11Speaker 2: Holy shit.
- 36:13Speaker 3: That was a good-sized ring.
- 36:14Speaker 1: I mean, yeah. It was, yeah. It was enough for
- 36:17Speaker 1: a rental property. Yeah, the family crap.
- 36:19Speaker 2: Do you guys talk at all?
- 36:21Speaker 1: No. No.
- 36:22Speaker 2: Can we do Mary F. Kill really quick? And she's
- 36:24Speaker 2: not a part of that.
- 36:24Speaker 1: Oh, my God. Well, yeah, I would assume so.
- 36:26Speaker 2: I hope not. Mary F. We don't like to say kill,
- 36:29Speaker 2: but this is a fair question.
- 36:30Speaker 1: I like banish. Me and Austin say banish. I like that.
- 36:33Speaker 2: Mary F.
- 36:34Speaker 1: Banish.
- 36:35Speaker 2: Vanita, Sally, and Amanda from Summer House.
- 36:38Speaker 1: I'm not going to do that.
- 36:40Speaker 2: Why?
- 36:40Speaker 1: Because I get along with everyone. Everyone's sensitive right now.
- 36:45Speaker 1: I can't. Sensitive? Yeah. I mean, I haven't talked to
- 36:50Speaker 1: Amanda in a long time, but Vanita and Sally and
- 36:53Speaker 1: I are so close right now.
- 36:55Speaker 2: You'd have sex with both of them?
- 36:56Speaker 1: Have sex with them? Sure.
- 36:59Speaker 3: Vanita, Sally, and who would you want to remove from that?
- 37:02Speaker 1: I can't do, I'm not going to do my cat.
- 37:04Speaker 1: Like I, the Bravo's, this is why I was scared
- 37:06Speaker 1: of y'all. Cause it's so Bravo. Like, okay.
- 37:09Speaker 3: Durenda, Sally and Cynthia.
- 37:15Speaker 1: The guys, these games, I, and I'm such a participator,
- 37:19Speaker 1: but I just can't.
- 37:20Speaker 2: He's not going to do it. Okay. Fine. One word
- 37:22Speaker 2: to describe the following people. Yes. Shep.
- 37:28Speaker 1: Oh, God, that should be an adjective. Like Shep. I
- 37:32Speaker 1: feel like you could say. Bring it. So we, on
- 37:34Speaker 1: our group of friends, if I say he's like Shep,
- 37:37Speaker 1: that means something to someone.
- 37:38Speaker 2: I mean, I know what that means.
- 37:39Speaker 1: Yeah, you grew up with him.
- 37:40Speaker 3: Austin.
- 37:42Speaker 1: Getting better. Oh, good. That's good to hear. Growing up
- 37:46Speaker 1: a little bit. Oh, finally. And he's filling his cup. Oh.
- 37:49Speaker 1: And it's been fun for everyone.
- 37:51Speaker 2: Filling his cup. I wonder with what. Rodrigo.
- 37:54Speaker 1: I love him. He's my workout partner.
- 37:57Speaker 3: We DM all the time. We DM like funny.
- 37:59Speaker 1: Shit to each other. His DM level and memes is high.
- 38:04Speaker 4: Well, at first he started sending me all these like
- 38:05Speaker 4: funny memes and I'm like, I told my sister, I go, did.
- 38:08Speaker 1: He get hacked?
- 38:09Speaker 3: And she's like, no, I just think that's his personality.
- 38:11Speaker 1: I'm like, okay, I just want to respond.
- 38:12Speaker 2: He thinks that we all like, We all like every
- 38:16Speaker 2: time he sends me a meme, I'm like, and I
- 38:18Speaker 2: do laugh.
- 38:19Speaker 3: So I appreciate it.
- 38:20Speaker 2: No, I love it.
- 38:21Speaker 1: I open like half, you know, but I always respond.
- 38:25Speaker 2: You only open half of Rodrigo's.
- 38:28Speaker 1: I mean, I get a lot a day. Oh, my God.
- 38:30Speaker 2: Can we talk about Whitney for one second?
- 38:32Speaker 1: Sure.
- 38:33Speaker 2: I know he's a producer on the show. But why
- 38:36Speaker 2: does he always seem like he is? Oh, he's not.
- 38:38Speaker 1: Well, he gets an EP credit, so he gets paid.
- 38:40Speaker 1: But when you sell a show, you lose all editorial control.
- 38:44Speaker 1: So like he that's why you.
- 38:47Speaker 2: Like stick in the mud.
- 38:48Speaker 1: Like, yeah, because it's not the show that he created
- 38:51Speaker 1: in his mind. And so when he gets grumpy, when
- 38:56Speaker 1: we're hanging out, I'm like, we're only here because of you.
- 38:59Speaker 3: Does he want to be on the show?
- 39:01Speaker 1: I mean, he seems like he enjoys it.
- 39:03Speaker 2: I think his mom enjoys it.
- 39:04Speaker 1: His mom, it keeps her alive. It's great. She called
- 39:07Speaker 1: me on the way here, actually. She has so much
- 39:10Speaker 1: fun with it. No, I love Whitney to death, but
- 39:14Speaker 1: we butt heads a lot because it's just Whitney.
- 39:19Speaker 2: He just seems pissed all the time. Even when y'all
- 39:21Speaker 2: were in Mexico the whole time, he's wearing a black t-shirt.
- 39:24Speaker 2: He's annoyed. He's like, it's hot. I'm sticky.
- 39:26Speaker 1: Why am I here? I'm like, get in the pool.
- 39:28Speaker 2: But he comes everywhere.
- 39:30Speaker 1: Well, he can't get wet. Why? I think it's like
- 39:33Speaker 1: a vampire, you know?
- 39:35Speaker 3: Well, like he, oh, he could be a vampire.
- 39:36Speaker 2: Oh, I forgot that you're also a conspiracy theorist.
- 39:40Speaker 1: I mean, yeah, I guess. No, I'm just kidding.
- 39:42Speaker 2: So like what's your biggest conspiracy right now?
- 39:45Speaker 1: No, my fun, the one I really believe is that
- 39:48Speaker 1: we didn't build the pyramids. We found them. I think
- 39:51Speaker 1: they're a lot older than we think. And I think
- 39:53Speaker 1: the engineering required was tough. No, I'm not a conspiracy theorist.
- 39:57Speaker 1: I find it very entertaining. And I ask questions like
- 40:00Speaker 1: the history of pandas doesn't exist. So you can't find
- 40:04Speaker 1: history of them 300 years past. They're not found anywhere.
- 40:08Speaker 1: So I just say to people, where did they come from?
- 40:11Speaker 1: Why do they have a carnivorous stomach and they only
- 40:14Speaker 1: eat bamboo? Why does it require human intervention for them
- 40:17Speaker 1: to get pregnant? I don't know. I'm just asking the questions.
- 40:20Speaker 2: I get that. That's fine. We have to wrap. Is
- 40:23Speaker 2: there anything you can tease for us for next season
- 40:26Speaker 2: or about yourself?
- 40:27Speaker 1: Or about your dating life? Thanks for having me. I'm excited. No,
- 40:32Speaker 1: it would be fun if I come back during the
- 40:34Speaker 1: season and we can really talk. But this season is
- 40:37Speaker 1: new and not repetitive and it's fun. And it's really
- 40:41Speaker 1: like there's some serious drama with people that you've named
- 40:44Speaker 1: today and I couldn't give it away. And, you know,
- 40:48Speaker 1: Madison's back. With a vengeance because she's not pregnant and
- 40:52Speaker 1: she gets to have like.
- 40:53Speaker 2: Love her not pregnant.
- 40:54Speaker 3: We get to see old school Madison.
- 40:55Speaker 1: She loves filming when she's not pregnant. So I think
- 41:00Speaker 1: viewers will be very, they should be excited for season
- 41:03Speaker 1: 12 of Southern Charm. And no, we've just got, I've
- 41:06Speaker 1: got a bunch of projects coming out. The book should
- 41:09Speaker 1: be fun.
- 41:10Speaker 2: Make sure you guys buy Patchwork. You can get it.
- 41:12Speaker 1: Anywhere, right? Yeah, anywhere that sells books.
- 41:14Speaker 2: And it's going to be personally signed for you.
- 41:16Speaker 1: Yeah, the pre-sale ones. Oh, wow.
- 41:18Speaker 2: The pre-sale ones are signed. Also, you can find Craig at?
- 41:23Speaker 1: On Instagram at CAA Conover. TikTok, I've been venturing around with.
- 41:27Speaker 2: He'll be running.
- 41:28Speaker 3: Just in case you want to know, he'll be running.
- 41:30Speaker 1: Yeah, Strava, you can follow me, but apparently then you
- 41:31Speaker 1: can see where I.
- 41:32Speaker 2: Am all the time.
- 41:33Speaker 1: Or you can go on Hinge.
- 41:34Speaker 3: Or you can go on Raya and Hinge.
- 41:35Speaker 2: Hold on, I'm like, Matt, download Strava for me.
- 41:38Speaker 1: Yeah. Yeah, and then go find my profile on Raya,
- 41:42Speaker 1: I guess.
- 41:42Speaker 3: Yes, there you go.
- 41:43Speaker 1: Be the first person that I talked to.
- 41:45Speaker 2: If you can get on Raya, good luck to you.
- 41:48Speaker 1: Hard.
- 41:48Speaker 2: It's hard out there.
- 41:49Speaker 3: He got on.
- 41:50Speaker 2: Well, I know, I don't understand.
- 41:52Speaker 1: I've downloaded an Though, unfortunately, every time you delete Raya,
- 41:58Speaker 1: you hope it's for the last time, and it hasn't
- 42:01Speaker 1: been so far.
- 42:03Speaker 2: The problem is they put it all over. There's no
- 42:05Speaker 2: point for Raya because you could put it in, and
- 42:07Speaker 2: then they're going to be like, This is who you
- 42:08Speaker 2: could date right now in Saudi Arabia.
- 42:10Speaker 1: Yes.
- 42:10Speaker 2: And you're like, I don't care. I want to know
- 42:13Speaker 2: right now within.
- 42:14Speaker 1: 5 miles. I did glance at it in Australia because
- 42:16Speaker 1: I was like, I feel like that would be. And
- 42:17Speaker 1: then I was like, Craig.
- 42:18Speaker 3: Oh, because the girls are hot there.
- 42:19Speaker 1: Why are you getting into a 16-hour long-distance relationship?
- 42:22Speaker 3: You're like, no, I have a feeling that's not what
- 42:24Speaker 3: it was about.
- 42:25Speaker 1: No.
- 42:26Speaker 2: But thank you guys for tuning in for another episode
- 42:28Speaker 2: of The Twotsy. Make sure that you watch Southern Charm
- 42:31Speaker 2: this season and you get patchwork. And we appreciate you
- 42:34Speaker 2: coming on, Craig.
- 42:35Speaker 1: Thanks, ladies.
