- 0:00So you think you may be autistic and you think that maybe you're
- 0:04only up on the spectrum. If that's you do this, I'll
- 0:08explain more right now. Hey guys, welcome back to the
- 0:10Aspy world. My name is Dan.
- 0:11I have autism, ADHDOCD and dyslexia, and I make weekly
- 0:14videos all about this stuff. So if you're new around here and

- 0:21down below. And if you're watching on
- 0:23Facebook, just follow this page for daily videos.
- 0:25All right, guys, so you want to know if you're autistic or not,
- 0:28right? And you're thinking how maybe
- 0:29I'm autistic. Maybe something in your life has
- 0:30said to you, hey, maybe you display traits of autism.
- 0:32Maybe you're struggling in a certain area of your life and
- 0:35you feel like maybe, maybe I'm autistic.
- 0:37Well, thankfully, yours truly done.
- 0:40What up, guys? And what's going on in my hair
- 0:42anyway? I have made an autism test that
- 0:46you can take online, which was based off an autism test or an
- 0:49autism kosher test, which they call AAQ test set out by doctor
- 0:53Simon Baron Cohen and the Autism Research Centre in Cambridge.
- 0:56And these questions were taken directly from their website,
- 1:01from their diagnostic criteria. And I put it onto an online form
- 1:04where you can go and check it out.
- 1:05Now you can go to the link, it's down below.
- 1:07It's the Ask weworld.com/autism test and you take the test.
- 1:12Now bear this in mind. We're going to jump over to my
- 1:14computer in a second. We're going to go through the
- 1:15test. But what I would like you to
- 1:18remember to think about is that you have to be open and honest.
- 1:21And when you're taking this test, it's only an indication,
- 1:24OK? This is not credited by any, you
- 1:26know, medical health board. It's just an indication.
- 1:30I could advise you that this indication will give you
- 1:32somewhat of an idea that you may be on the spectrum versus maybe
- 1:35not been on the spectrum, which is only a good thing If you're
- 1:38looking towards getting more information.
- 1:40And you know, you want to really up that kind of diagnostic idea
- 1:45before you go to the doctor and say, hey, look, I want you to
- 1:46put me forward for referral, blah, blah, blah.
- 1:49Look, this is a good starting point and I highly recommend
- 1:51doing it. Let's jump over to my computer
- 1:53right now and check it out. OK guys, so as you can see here
- 1:57now on my computer screen to my website, theaspyworld.com, if
- 2:00you go here and then look, there is a website link called Autism
- 2:04test. If you click on Autism test,
- 2:06it'll take you through to you just put your name and your
- 2:08e-mail address in and click take test.
- 2:10And then when the page loads, basically loads this test.
- 2:12Now this is basically telling you about the autism quotient
- 2:15test or the AQ test as they call it within the industry.
- 2:19AQ it's a bit of a weird it's like Albuquerque test and AQ,
- 2:22but it's a diagnostic questionnaire basically designed
- 2:24to measure the expression of autism traits in an individual
- 2:28by his or her own subject of self-assessment.
- 2:30So this is not a an official diagnostic assessment.
- 2:33It's just an indicator, like I said, and I'll reiterate that
- 2:36basically the IT was published by Simon Baron Cohen and his
- 2:40colleagues at the Cambridge Johnson Research Center because
- 2:43they wanted to have some type of test that would give you an AQ
- 2:45test. So this is actually very
- 2:47similar, if not identical to the one that they will actually run
- 2:50within an assessment. But an assessment is actually a
- 2:52controlled condition on a controlled condition environment
- 2:55and their assessment protocol, whereas this test is just me and
- 2:58my website with you going on. So we're going to have some fun.
- 3:01Let's go for it and I'll show you how it works.
- 3:03So I'll probably start guys also down the bottom here, excuse me.
- 3:08I'm talking about if you want to like, you know, be more
- 3:10confident. So it's a personal lower
- 3:11anxiety. You can actually download my
- 3:13free program, the Bulletproof Brain for free here.
- 3:16Or you can just go to bulletproofbrain.org right now.
- 3:19You can download for free. OK, so you click on start and it
- 3:24will start the test. So ask these questions, right?
- 3:27So I will go through a few questions in a second, but I
- 3:29want to show you what it looks like.
- 3:31So there's 50 questions all down here and it's agree or disagree,
- 3:35agree or disagree. And what these questions are
- 3:37going to do is kind of really get an idea for how your brain
- 3:42is, is, is responding or how your mind or how neurological
- 3:45kind of difference responds to this type of question or, or
- 3:49kind of reality. Now, right on the bottom, you'll
- 3:52see that there's when you see clip results, there's only 50
- 3:54questions. So it's going to give you a math
- 3:56like between 30, I think, or 35 and 55 is like autism, you know,
- 4:05speculated autism. And then any lower than that,
- 4:08it's kind of like maybe not. And then lower again, it'll be
- 4:10like, no, definitely not. So basically this is what we do.
- 4:12And remember when you're answering these questions, it
- 4:14has to be honest and kind of like number, you have to be
- 4:17really honest with yourself. So like #1 I prefer to do things
- 4:21with others rather than on my own.
- 4:23So would you like to do things with other people other than on
- 4:26your own? This is interesting.
- 4:28And so basically what it's asking there is, do you enjoy
- 4:30your own company more than company with friends?
- 4:33And only you can answer that question, right?
- 4:34So I actually do love to do things on my own rather than
- 4:38with others because I, I feel like being part of a group,
- 4:43there's too many opinions. So doing something as a group,
- 4:46unless I'm the leader of the group, it's I, I, I always feel
- 4:50like they're going to make the wrong decision.
- 4:52So I prefer to do things with others rather than my own.
- 4:54I disagree. As you can see, once you've
- 4:57clicked it, it's highlighted. You can change that answer
- 4:59before you click submit, but you have to click the gig.
- 5:01So, you know, I prefer to do things the same way over and
- 5:04over again. I agree.
- 5:05And so you basically just go through all these questions and
- 5:07then when you hit submit right down here at the bottom, it's
- 5:10going to cope with a result. So it'll just load, take a few
- 5:14minutes to to load. And so my score is only two out
- 5:18of 50 because I only answered 2 questions, right?
- 5:20But this is how it works. So it gives you like a, a score
- 5:23that says, well, you know, out of 50, this is what it's likely
- 5:27going to be, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah.
- 5:29So if we did the full test, what it would show you is that at the
- 5:34bottom here would say, you know, 30 to 50 is this or 3050 is
- 5:38that. And so it's really interesting
- 5:40how like this test actually works to kind of give you an
- 5:43indication. Now what is it useful for?
- 5:46Well, the really interesting thing about this test is that
- 5:49you can take the information of the data to your doctor or
- 5:54healthcare provider and say, hey, look, this test indicates
- 5:56that maybe I don't know, I'm, you know, potentially on the
- 6:01autism spectrum. What do I do with that?
- 6:04So that being said, look, if, if this is you, if you, if you've
- 6:07scored like between 30 and 50, which is kind of indicative that
- 6:11you maybe only got to the spectrum.
- 6:12What it would do is take this print out of the syndication and
- 6:15then books to go and see a medical professional.
- 6:17Because these are going to be the the people who are going to
- 6:19be the ones who would be able to either diagnose the issue or
- 6:22maybe it's something that you don't necessarily have an office
- 6:28infection condition, but you have another condition.
- 6:29This is highlighted. So either way, you're going to
- 6:31get the right treatment, right support, right help, right
- 6:33therapy, maybe medication that is right for you.
- 6:36And that's super, super important because self
- 6:38diagnosing is OK, but it only gives you certain like leverage
- 6:41only gives you certain. You know you can only do so
- 6:44much. And so if you want to learn more
- 6:46about that, then you should definitely go and seek a formal
- 6:49diagnosis for your doctor and they will be able to actually
- 6:51prepare and recommend you to the best ones.
- 6:53Now, if you guys are liking this type of content and you enjoying
- 6:56this video, please give it a thumbs up comment because let me
- 6:58know what you think about do you do the test?
- 7:00What number did you get? I want to know where you are.
- 7:02If you're OK sharing that, let me know.
- 7:03I want to have a discussion read it because I read every single
- 7:05comment every single one. All right, guys, Peace.
