- 0:48Speaker 1: Well, how Lo, lovelies. I am verry true crime, and
- 0:52Speaker 1: I am very happy to be back alive and not
- 0:55Speaker 1: doing pre record. So I did have a great time
- 0:59Speaker 1: on my travel. I will say four countries and I
- 1:03Speaker 1: don't even remember how many days. It was a lot,
- 1:06Speaker 1: but I missed everyone. And welcome to Midday Missing, where
- 1:11Speaker 1: we highlight current missing person cases that need more attention,
- 1:15Speaker 1: and we live stream every Monday and Wednesday at noon Central, unless,
- 1:21Speaker 1: like today, it is a little after eleven Central because
- 1:25Speaker 1: of Couch Court with Lama and oh, I just looked
- 1:29Speaker 1: at my hair. Ooh, I guess I maybe should have
- 1:32Speaker 1: ran a brush through it before I said I could
- 1:34Speaker 1: jump on quick come. Oh well, who cares? But because
- 1:39Speaker 1: Lama is streaming over on Couch Court, we will be
- 1:43Speaker 1: going at lunchtime whenever Court is, so we're a little early.
- 1:48Speaker 1: I do want to ask, can everybody hear me? Okay?
- 1:51Speaker 1: My boom mic stand broke while I was gone, so
- 1:56Speaker 1: I have my microphone sitting in one of my old
- 1:59Speaker 1: true I'm in wine time mugs until Double H can
- 2:03Speaker 1: get in here to fix it for me, So I
- 2:06Speaker 1: hope everyone can hear me. Okay, And first I want
- 2:11Speaker 1: to say hello to everybody. It looks like y'all made
- 2:14Speaker 1: it over. I hope you made it over with all
- 2:16Speaker 1: of your body parts. So hi, Angie, Kelly Pea's here,
- 2:22Speaker 1: Lady in Gray Savage, you do not have to behave
- 2:27Speaker 1: just because I'm around. Okay. The good news is I'm
- 2:31Speaker 1: still a little jet lagged and I still am a
- 2:33Speaker 1: little confused on where I'm at in white day, So
- 2:36Speaker 1: you can get away with a lot right now. Okay.
- 2:39Speaker 1: And my Malama is here, BAM's here. Oh my god,
- 2:43Speaker 1: y'all are all here today, So I am gonna warn
- 2:46Speaker 1: y'all I am running the scenes in the background as well,
- 2:52Speaker 1: so you got to remember I'm not great at it.
- 2:55Speaker 1: And it's been like three weeks I think, since I've
- 2:58Speaker 1: done this. So let's get started and see how things go. Now,
- 3:06Speaker 1: we were going to be covering the disappearance of Kata Scott. Well, guys,
- 3:10Speaker 1: over the weekend. There has been major updates to this case.
- 3:15Speaker 1: I mean she went missing on Saturday, October fourth. There
- 3:19Speaker 1: was even updates today and there is a press conference
- 3:24Speaker 1: going on right now. But Kata was last seen when
- 3:29Speaker 1: she stepped outside during her shift at the assisted living
- 3:32Speaker 1: facility where she worked. Now Kada had been receiving harassing
- 3:36Speaker 1: phone calls. Also, Guys, Kata's car was still in the
- 3:40Speaker 1: facilities parking lot where she worked, but she was never
- 3:44Speaker 1: seen alive again. I want to stop and think about that.
- 3:48Speaker 1: I tell you, things happen quickly. Okay, she stepped outside
- 3:54Speaker 1: at work. She'd been at work about an hour. She
- 3:57Speaker 1: stepped outside for a minute and was never again. Guys,
- 4:03Speaker 1: that is scary. And if that doesn't give you an
- 4:07Speaker 1: indication that we need to be more aware of our surroundings,
- 4:11Speaker 1: even when you're just doing something like that. Okay, that's insane.
- 4:16Speaker 1: Now I know this is totally different. But Saturday night,
- 4:22Speaker 1: Monkey Button, I stepped outside to go feed the goats
- 4:25Speaker 1: and put the goats up for the night, and she screamed,
- 4:29Speaker 1: mind you, I was barefootedge. She goes, mama snake, So
- 4:33Speaker 1: we had to stop so she could go get a
- 4:36Speaker 1: shovel and we could kill the snake. I say that
- 4:40Speaker 1: because what if I was just so blatantly running out
- 4:44Speaker 1: to my car and something happened. Things can happen. I
- 4:49Speaker 1: need to do a better job of being aware of
- 4:51Speaker 1: my surroundings, even in my own backyard. So I know
- 4:56Speaker 1: that's way off topic, but sure's that now. With Kata's disappearance.
- 5:02Speaker 1: On Wednesday, October fifteenth, Keon King was arrested on kidnapping
- 5:07Speaker 1: charges in the disappearance of Kata Scott. Okay. Law enforcement
- 5:12Speaker 1: said that King had been in communication with Kada up
- 5:16Speaker 1: to before she disappeared. Now, items belonging to Kata were
- 5:21Speaker 1: found during a search at the Ada H. H. Lewis
- 5:25Speaker 1: Middle School, which is currently abandoned and not in use now, guys.
- 5:31Speaker 1: On October eighteenth, police received an anonymous tip and upon
- 5:36Speaker 1: searching the wooded area behind that school where her belongings
- 5:40Speaker 1: were found, a shallow grave containing the body of a
- 5:44Speaker 1: female was found. Okay. Just this morning, Philadelphia Police in
- 5:50Speaker 1: the DA's office reported that the remains found were those
- 5:54Speaker 1: of Kata Scott and that Keon King will be charged
- 5:59Speaker 1: with murder now. They also said that King was the
- 6:02Speaker 1: last person in contact with Kito when she went missing,
- 6:06Speaker 1: and that her phone in his phone pinged together. Now, guys,
- 6:11Speaker 1: this I don't know what to say about it. Kean
- 6:16Speaker 1: King had been arrested previously for kidnapping and strangulation. Thankfully,
- 6:22Speaker 1: the young lady lived, but the charges were dropped. When
- 6:26Speaker 1: the victim failed to show up in court. Guys, no
- 6:30Speaker 1: shame on her. Okay, no shame on her, because that
- 6:34Speaker 1: is a scary thing to go through, and I personally,
- 6:38Speaker 1: they would like to think I would be strong enough
- 6:40Speaker 1: to go to court and testify. I don't know, so
- 6:45Speaker 1: no shame. But I wish there was a way that
- 6:49Speaker 1: law enforcement could have found a way to still take
- 6:53Speaker 1: him to trial and not drop the charges, because then
- 6:57Speaker 1: this maybe wouldn't have happened. Now. I am glad that
- 7:00Speaker 1: King is in jail. I am glad that they are
- 7:04Speaker 1: charging him with murder, and I hope that Kata's family
- 7:08Speaker 1: finds some peace now knowing what happened to her, that
- 7:12Speaker 1: the person who did this to her is in jail
- 7:15Speaker 1: and will stand trial, and that they have her remains
- 7:19Speaker 1: so they can bury her and say their proper goodbyes. Guys,
- 7:28Speaker 1: it makes me. That makes me sad. Lady and Gray
- 7:32Speaker 1: just said, Oh, lady and Gray, let me figure out
- 7:34Speaker 1: how to put this on screen. Yesterday was the birthday
- 7:37Speaker 1: of my high school friend who's been missing for eight years.
- 7:40Speaker 1: We know she's dead, just not where she is. Her
- 7:43Speaker 1: ex unlived himself when the LEO closed in on him.
- 7:47Speaker 1: Lady and Gray, I need you to send me your
- 7:50Speaker 1: high school friend's name. Have we covered your friend? If not,
- 7:55Speaker 1: we should? Okay, we need too, Okay, we need to. Now.
- 8:03Speaker 1: I want to remind all of you if you know
- 8:06Speaker 1: of or if you have a loved one that's missing
- 8:09Speaker 1: and you're interested in having their story featured on an
- 8:12Speaker 1: upcoming episode, please send us the information or if you
- 8:18Speaker 1: want to join us for our live interview, contact Amy,
- 8:21Speaker 1: our producer, at email at Amy at tcwtmedia dot com,
- 8:27Speaker 1: or you can contact us through any of our social
- 8:30Speaker 1: media accounts. Okay, I love that you guys are talking
- 8:34Speaker 1: about songs because I find myself singing random songs all
- 8:41Speaker 1: the time and I don't know what it is. But
- 8:45Speaker 1: for about the last five days, I keep singing, how
- 8:48Speaker 1: much is that doggy in the window? I don't know
- 8:51Speaker 1: why I didn't see a dog in the window anywhere,
- 8:54Speaker 1: but just goes to tell you that Terry Truecrime's brain
- 8:59Speaker 1: is a mess. Okay, it's a mess. Now this next case.
- 9:05Speaker 1: I have a lot of thoughts, and I'm going to
- 9:07Speaker 1: try to keep my rants to a minimum, because I
- 9:10Speaker 1: did have someone send me a message telling me my
- 9:12Speaker 1: rants on midday Missing are a bit obnoxious, So I'm
- 9:17Speaker 1: not going to completely get rid of them, but I'll
- 9:19Speaker 1: try to tone it down. Now. Nineteen year old Caden
- 9:22Speaker 1: Black vanished December seventeenth, twenty twenty two, under very mysterious
- 9:28Speaker 1: and troubling circumstances that haunt his family and the community. Now,
- 9:35Speaker 1: Cayden was a talented athlete who played wide receiver, and
- 9:41Speaker 1: he also liked to get into boxing and kind of
- 9:44Speaker 1: mess around my training as a boxer. He was last seen,
- 9:49Speaker 1: they're saying either the night of December seventeenth, early in
- 9:53Speaker 1: the morning of December eighteenth. So he was staying with
- 9:57Speaker 1: a friend in Vickley or on vic Lead Drive. Now,
- 10:02Speaker 1: he had been staying there, but he borrowed his friend's
- 10:04Speaker 1: car to go cash's paycheck and that paycheck money is
- 10:09Speaker 1: in the bank never got touched, and he had planned
- 10:11Speaker 1: to visit his father the next day. But guys, he
- 10:15Speaker 1: never arrived to see his father. Oh, Pam, thank you
- 10:21Speaker 1: for telling me I can rent. Like I said, I'm
- 10:24Speaker 1: not going to totally get rid of them, because it's
- 10:26Speaker 1: just who I am. Let's just be honest. Now. When
- 10:30Speaker 1: Cayden failed to show up or make contact his father,
- 10:33Speaker 1: Maurice Black became worried. Okay now, I did read an
- 10:40Speaker 1: article that said he had called the boy's house where
- 10:46Speaker 1: Caiden had been staying, and a man who he thinks
- 10:49Speaker 1: was the gentleman's father told him the sudden was sleeping.
- 10:52Speaker 1: Okay now, But after two days without hearing from his son,
- 10:56Speaker 1: he filed a missing person's report. Now, according to a
- 11:00Speaker 1: Lower Windsor township police, Cayden's shoes, wallet and cell phone
- 11:05Speaker 1: were missing, guys, and some of his social media accounts
- 11:10Speaker 1: had been deactivated. Now. His phone last pinged on December eighteenth,
- 11:16Speaker 1: near Old Windsor Road in a Lower Windsor East Prospect area. Guys,
- 11:23Speaker 1: every time I hear Windsor, I think of Windsor Castle.
- 11:26Speaker 1: Maybe it's because I just got back from all of
- 11:28Speaker 1: my travels and I didn't get to go see it.
- 11:33Speaker 1: What on my stay over in London? Now, just one
- 11:37Speaker 1: week after turning nineteen and days before Christmas, Cayden seemed
- 11:42Speaker 1: to have had every reason to stay close to his family.
- 11:45Speaker 1: He was described by loved Ones as a fun loving
- 11:48Speaker 1: teen who adored football, dirt bikes, working out, and goofing off.
- 11:54Speaker 1: Sounds like a typical typical teenage male. Now, he was
- 11:58Speaker 1: primarily raised by his mother after his parents' divorce. Now,
- 12:02Speaker 1: Caden returned to Pennsylvania in twenty nineteen to live with
- 12:06Speaker 1: this father when he began missing his friends in community.
- 12:11Speaker 1: Although a disagreement had recently led him to stay with
- 12:14Speaker 1: the friend's family and Kayden's father still maintained their Sunday
- 12:20Speaker 1: routine of exercising the dogs together. Now, I included that
- 12:25Speaker 1: fact because I wanted people to know. Just because teenagers
- 12:30Speaker 1: and their parents get into disagreements and maybe they go
- 12:33Speaker 1: stay somewhere for a little bit, doesn't mean that they
- 12:42Speaker 1: don't love each other and that they still don't have
- 12:44Speaker 1: a relationship together. I can tell you monkey Bot is
- 12:48Speaker 1: going to be thirteen in a couple weeks, about a month,
- 12:51Speaker 1: I guess. And she's already shown signs of some sassiness. Okay,
- 12:56Speaker 1: it happens now. Please said dinner with a work friend
- 13:01Speaker 1: on December sixteenth, but he never showed up for his
- 13:06Speaker 1: job at de Laughter's a one moving helpers on December nineteenth. Now,
- 13:12Speaker 1: his coworkers told investigators they expected to see him that
- 13:16Speaker 1: day and they had no idea where he could have gone. Now,
- 13:20Speaker 1: Cayden has described as five foot ten inches tall at
- 13:23Speaker 1: about one hundred and sixty pounds, with an athletic build.
- 13:27Speaker 1: I mean, guys, look at that smile. Look at that smile, Savage.
- 13:34Speaker 1: It's okay that you didn't know I was talking already.
- 13:37Speaker 1: It's okay. Now. Cayden faced emotional challenges and had been
- 13:44Speaker 1: diagnosed with bipolar disorder, oppositional defiant disorder, and autism. His
- 13:51Speaker 1: family said he was looking forward to his future and
- 13:54Speaker 1: an upcoming court hearing that they believe would clear his
- 13:57Speaker 1: name from an incident. Now I read our articles. His
- 14:00Speaker 1: mom took him to the doctor, got him diagnosed, got
- 14:04Speaker 1: him on medication. Guys, just because a teenager has these
- 14:09Speaker 1: issues does not mean that they ran off on their
- 14:13Speaker 1: own or that they're bad kids. Okay. So if anybody's
- 14:17Speaker 1: thinking that, don't just stop. Okay. I have a son
- 14:22Speaker 1: who has bipolar disorder. It's a challenge for him, but
- 14:25Speaker 1: there is medication, and it sounds like Cayden was accepting
- 14:30Speaker 1: this diagnosis and trying to do the right things now.
- 14:34Speaker 1: Search efforts for Caden have been extensive. Investigators searched his home,
- 14:40Speaker 1: vehicles he had access to, and his family's former residents
- 14:45Speaker 1: and multiple wooded areas in Lower Windsord and the surrounding areas.
- 14:50Speaker 1: The searches included ground teams, drone surveillance, and canine units
- 14:55Speaker 1: trained in electronics detection. I'm assuming that so that they
- 14:59Speaker 1: can find the phone, but no trace of Cayden was found. Now,
- 15:04Speaker 1: detectives have also interviewed friends, neighbors, and co workers as
- 15:08Speaker 1: part of this investigation. Now please report that in the
- 15:14Speaker 1: over two years since Caiden's disappearance, they have conducted hundreds
- 15:18Speaker 1: of interviews and followed countless leads, yet the circumstances of
- 15:23Speaker 1: his disappearance remain unknown. Sorry, guys. Adding to the heartbreak,
- 15:32Speaker 1: months after Caden vanished, the man had been staying with
- 15:36Speaker 1: Christopher Fouss blocked the family on Facebook, and they sold
- 15:41Speaker 1: Caden's Toyota Forerunner, which is a vehicle gifted by his
- 15:46Speaker 1: mother but was titled in Fouse's name for insurance purposes. Okay, guys,
- 15:51Speaker 1: I'm going to try not to rant, but excuse me.
- 15:54Speaker 1: That is suspicious as hell. Why would he sell it?
- 16:00Speaker 1: Why would you not give it back to the family.
- 16:03Speaker 1: He's missing, They haven't found his body. What if he
- 16:07Speaker 1: comes back, What if he had a mental break what
- 16:10Speaker 1: if he's living on the streets somewhere. You took it
- 16:13Speaker 1: upon yourself to sell something that doesn't belong to you,
- 16:20Speaker 1: and this guy is supposedly your friend. I find that
- 16:25Speaker 1: suspicious as hell. And why would you block the family
- 16:29Speaker 1: on Facebook unless you had something to do with it?
- 16:35Speaker 1: Tell me, I'm beginning to think this Chris guy friend
- 16:40Speaker 1: is kind of like the Chase Lackey friends. I don't
- 16:44Speaker 1: like it. I don't like it. That is a problem
- 16:47Speaker 1: for me. What if his family wanted to keep it.
- 16:51Speaker 1: What if it meant something to his mom? She gifted
- 16:54Speaker 1: that to her son. Why did you sell it? Now?
- 16:58Speaker 1: I did go down rabbit holes on Reddit who said
- 17:01Speaker 1: the guy needed money, all kinds of stuff. But I
- 17:04Speaker 1: don't care. You don't do that now. Caiden's family continues
- 17:09Speaker 1: to fight for answers with the help from the Doc
- 17:12Speaker 1: Ellis Foundation, which is a national nonprofit that supports minority
- 17:16Speaker 1: families of missing loved ones. They also keep the public
- 17:21Speaker 1: informed through the Fine Caden Black Facebook page, where they
- 17:25Speaker 1: share updates and ask for continued support and awareness. Okay,
- 17:31Speaker 1: I want to ask all of you, if you have Facebook,
- 17:34Speaker 1: head on over to the book phase, go to the
- 17:37Speaker 1: Fine Caden Black page like it. Let's show that family
- 17:42Speaker 1: that we care, because guys, I was shocked at the
- 17:45Speaker 1: small amount of news coverages this case has received, and
- 17:49Speaker 1: I am so thankful that this family found a foundation
- 17:53Speaker 1: to help him. Okay, now, if you want to go
- 17:57Speaker 1: down all the conspiracy rabbit holes and all that stuff,
- 18:00Speaker 1: I did find a Reddit page without a trace that
- 18:04Speaker 1: has many many rabbit holes you could go down. Okay,
- 18:08Speaker 1: there's a lot of suspicion and locals who have commented
- 18:11Speaker 1: it's been it was an interesting thing to go down
- 18:15Speaker 1: because people who live next door, according to what they
- 18:18Speaker 1: say on Reddit, have said things and it's interesting. It's
- 18:24Speaker 1: very suspicious, Okay, very suspicious. My other thing that I
- 18:29Speaker 1: wondered is why did he have to borrow his friend's
- 18:32Speaker 1: car to go Cashi's check if he had a forerunner
- 18:37Speaker 1: or is the media saying because that forerunner was titled
- 18:41Speaker 1: in that friend's name, they're calling it his car. I
- 18:44Speaker 1: don't know, but that was just something I found very
- 18:48Speaker 1: very interesting. So, guys, anyone with information about the disappearance
- 18:53Speaker 1: of Caden Black is urged to contact the Lower Windsor
- 18:58Speaker 1: Township Police Department at seven one seven two four four
- 19:03Speaker 1: eight zero five five. Guys, ooh, my news is. I
- 19:08Speaker 1: also want to ask you, if you're on Facebook, to
- 19:11Speaker 1: please go over to our Midday Missing page and share
- 19:14Speaker 1: Cayden's missing person fire. Let's help this family, get the
- 19:18Speaker 1: word out and do what little bit we can to
- 19:23Speaker 1: help this family. Guys, it's going to be three years
- 19:27Speaker 1: coming up here. I mean December's just right around the corner.
- 19:31Speaker 1: So three years of a family going to bed not
- 19:35Speaker 1: knowing where their son is. Is he safe, is he fed,
- 19:39Speaker 1: is he injured? Has he been killed? So let's do
- 19:43Speaker 1: the little bit that we can. Okay. Now, next, I'm
- 19:51Speaker 1: going to give you some tips for after dark okay,
- 19:53Speaker 1: because let's be real, evil doesn't keep business hours. It's
- 19:58Speaker 1: kind like me and mama. We're all over the place now.
- 20:02Speaker 1: Darkness is a criminal's best friend. So you need to
- 20:05Speaker 1: carry a small flashlight, use your phone's light or better yet, guys,
- 20:10Speaker 1: I've said it before. Park only in well lied areas, okay.
- 20:14Speaker 1: Avoid shortcuts through alleys, wooded trails, or empty parking lots.
- 20:19Speaker 1: Those are true crime bingo squares you don't want to
- 20:23Speaker 1: check off, Okay, Walk with confidence, head up, shoulders back, aware,
- 20:29Speaker 1: but not paranoid. Also, guys, do not be doing this.
- 20:33Speaker 1: I saw so many people on my travels walking and
- 20:38Speaker 1: doing this, and I was like they were running into things,
- 20:43Speaker 1: into people. Put the phone down, Okay, pay attention, and
- 20:48Speaker 1: if you feel uneasy, call someone. Have them stay on
- 20:52Speaker 1: the line with you until you're safely inside. Okay. Predators
- 20:56Speaker 1: look for distracted and isolated targets. So you want to
- 21:00Speaker 1: project that vibe I see you, and I will scream
- 21:04Speaker 1: bloody murder vibe. Okay. Now, always back into a spot
- 21:12Speaker 1: when possible. They say it gives you a faster exit.
- 21:16Speaker 1: If you're like me, though, make sure there's no cars
- 21:20Speaker 1: next to you. For whatever reason, I cannot park up
- 21:23Speaker 1: into a parking spot. It's just me. I don't know why.
- 21:27Speaker 1: I try, and I hit things. And I've learned if
- 21:31Speaker 1: I would just not use the backup camera, I can
- 21:33Speaker 1: back up that backup camera, and trying to use it
- 21:36Speaker 1: I don't do well. Also, have your keys ready before
- 21:41Speaker 1: you reach your car, Okay, have them out, don't stop
- 21:45Speaker 1: digging your person look for them. Also check the back seat. Okay,
- 21:50Speaker 1: check the back seat. You know what, If something goes off,
- 21:55Speaker 1: go get help, go back inside. I would rather be
- 21:58Speaker 1: embarrassed and say, oh, well, I'm sorry. I thought I
- 22:01Speaker 1: saw something in the back seat then to be taken. Okay. Also,
- 22:07Speaker 1: I say this all the time. Let a trusted friend
- 22:10Speaker 1: or family member know where you're headed and when you'll
- 22:12Speaker 1: be home. So we met up with some other friends
- 22:17Speaker 1: while we were in Paris. We all shared our location.
- 22:20Speaker 1: You can set it for a designated amount of time.
- 22:23Speaker 1: We did that so we would know where each other
- 22:26Speaker 1: was when we weren't together. When you're inside an uber
- 22:29Speaker 1: a taxi, we took trains. It's just a good idea. Okay, guys,
- 22:35Speaker 1: if you're out for fun, I've said this, never leave
- 22:38Speaker 1: your drink unattended. Okay, take it to the restroom with you.
- 22:43Speaker 1: No shame in that. Okay, if you have to take
- 22:46Speaker 1: it with you. Now, as soon as you get to
- 22:50Speaker 1: wherever you're going, get inside the house, the hotel, lock
- 22:54Speaker 1: the doors in windows, turn on our lighter two okay,
- 22:59Speaker 1: let them know that somebody's there. And as always, guys,
- 23:04Speaker 1: trust your gut. Okay, trust your gut. Our guts are
- 23:08Speaker 1: there for a reason. You are absolutely correct. Noise canceling
- 23:14Speaker 1: headphones are not a good idea. I saw young people
- 23:19Speaker 1: running and yes, nobody was chasing them in Vienna. Both
