- 0:00Speaker 1: Coach, the energy out there felt different. What changed for
- 0:03Speaker 1: the team today?
- 0:03Speaker 2: It was the new game day scratches from the California
- 0:06Speaker 2: Lottery players.
- 0:07Speaker 3: Everything. Those games sent the team's energy through the roof.
- 0:09Speaker 1: Are you saying it was the off field play that
- 0:11Speaker 1: made the difference on the field.
- 0:13Speaker 3: Hey, little play makes your day, and today it made
- 0:15Speaker 3: the game. That's all for now, Coach, one more question.
- 0:18Speaker 1: Play the new Los Angeles Chargers, San Francisco forty nine
- 0:21Speaker 1: ers and Los Angeles Rams scratchers from the California Lottery.
- 0:25Speaker 1: A little play can make your day. Peace made responsibily.
- 0:28Speaker 1: You must be eighteen years or older to purchase late
- 0:29Speaker 1: or claim.
- 0:30Speaker 4: Maybe ask you if I saw something on your on
- 0:32Speaker 4: your Instagram that was extremely interesting.
- 0:35Speaker 3: Ao Smith Corporation kickers I got, I got, I got
- 0:44Speaker 3: new stocks for this year. I haven't even talked about
- 0:46Speaker 3: these anywhere. Aosmith I talked about publicly, but I got
- 0:50Speaker 3: other ones. Uh. Listen, we're under housed in this country.
- 0:54Speaker 3: You guys have tons of real estate people. Come on
- 0:56Speaker 3: and you have mortgage people, you have home builders, and
- 1:01Speaker 3: so you guys know this. We really don't have enough houses.
- 1:06Speaker 3: The up and coming home buying generation, they don't want
- 1:10Speaker 3: to buy these pieces of shit from the nineteen sixties
- 1:13Speaker 3: that my parents' generation is trying to sell them. They
- 1:16Speaker 3: want new houses. They don't want to renovate sixty year
- 1:19Speaker 3: old houses. We got to build more houses. Everyone knows this.
- 1:22Speaker 3: The problem is it's going to happen at a glacial
- 1:26Speaker 3: pace because how expensive it is to put up a
- 1:28Speaker 3: house right now. You can't find labor, you can't get appliances,
- 1:32Speaker 3: you can't get this, you can't get that. So there's
- 1:35Speaker 3: going to be I think a bull market in new housing. Like,
- 1:38Speaker 3: for as far as the eye can see, the most
- 1:40Speaker 3: common age to be in America right now, I think
- 1:43Speaker 3: is twenty nine or thirty. That's the year you buy
- 1:46Speaker 3: a house, like all the years around that, right That's like,
- 1:49Speaker 3: so you look at the population, what's the age that
- 1:52Speaker 3: most Americans are. It's literally the prime home buying age.
- 1:57Speaker 3: So bullish on housing. And I know interest rates have
- 2:01Speaker 3: been helping. Obviously rates will go up, mortgages will get
- 2:04Speaker 3: more expensive, but I still think the demand is there.
- 2:06Speaker 3: Household formation is going to be explosive every time they
- 2:10Speaker 3: build a new house. Every time, no matter how much
- 2:15Speaker 3: the house is, how many bedrooms, what region of the country. Whatever,
- 2:19Speaker 3: it needs a hot water heater, it needs a boiler,
- 2:23Speaker 3: there's a fifty to fifty shot. You go down your basement,
- 2:26Speaker 3: look at your boiler. There's a fifty to fifty shot.
- 2:29Speaker 3: Aosmith made it. They have half the market.
- 2:31Speaker 4: The monopoly.
- 2:33Speaker 3: I mean, that's right as close as you get. Aosmith
- 2:37Speaker 3: been in business since the Civil War one hundred and
- 2:40Speaker 3: forty something years, been public forever. It's still a thirteen
- 2:44Speaker 3: billion dollar market cap. Nobody even knows that this thing exists.
- 2:48Speaker 3: If you look at the New if you look at
- 2:50Speaker 3: the New Highs list, it's littered with companies like this.
- 2:54Speaker 3: They're value stocks, pay dividends, do buybacks, they're involved in
- 2:58Speaker 3: home construction. Eagle Materials is on that list. Mascow makes
- 3:03Speaker 3: sheet rock, willboard. There's like there's like fifty stocks like
- 3:08Speaker 3: that where you've never heard of it. But every house
- 3:11Speaker 3: contains their equipment or materials. So to me, that's a
- 3:15Speaker 3: really great place to be hiding out right now. And
- 3:17Speaker 3: look how that stock holds up relative to the NASDAC.
- 3:21Speaker 3: Let's say, it's like, I feel like that's like where
- 3:24Speaker 3: people want to be this year.
- 3:26Speaker 4: Yeah, aos is that two at three forty three. In
- 3:29Speaker 4: two thousand and two it said eighty two eighty nine
- 3:31Speaker 4: my battery. But just want to give context for how
- 3:35Speaker 4: much this went up over the last like twenty years
- 3:36Speaker 4: or so.
- 3:37Speaker 2: Now you're good man. I was just giving you the ticket.
- 3:38Speaker 2: People just kept asking, what's the ticket? Was the ticket?
- 3:40Speaker 3: Aos? And yeah, aosmith Aos. And now they're entering China
- 3:44Speaker 3: and India and not just entering like like selling from here.
- 3:50Speaker 3: They have like organization on the ground there. And what
- 3:54Speaker 3: makes those markets so exciting Obviously the size is endless. Uh,
- 3:58Speaker 3: you could build endless house is in these places. There's
- 4:01Speaker 3: nothing there in a lot of cases. But water purification
- 4:05Speaker 3: is another business they're in, and the drinking water is
- 4:08Speaker 3: just not what it is there. They need, they need
- 4:10Speaker 3: all that stuff. So I think this is the kind
- 4:13Speaker 3: of stock where you just put it away, pay a
- 4:16Speaker 3: dibbon end every quarter, reinvest the dibbon end, do that
- 4:20Speaker 3: automatically through your brokerage account, and just forget about it.
- 4:24Speaker 3: Just forget about it. And this is a way to
- 4:26Speaker 3: play like the next generation coming up and buying houses,
- 4:31Speaker 3: building houses.
- 4:32Speaker 2: Yeah, sweet, sweet sweet. So I want to talk about
- 4:35Speaker 2: something that's happened here in New York over the weekend. Uh,
- 4:38Speaker 2: And I know most people are gonna be like, oh joy,
- 4:40Speaker 2: you always talking about DraftKings. Yeah, I do not profitable
- 4:43Speaker 2: because a lot of money is spent on advertising. Obviously,
- 4:45Speaker 2: Pen Mutual same thing. So I want to know your
- 4:47Speaker 2: thoughts on aline sports betting. It's Pen National, I would say,
- 4:52Speaker 2: Pen Mutual, Pen Nashural online sports betting is here in
- 4:54Speaker 2: New York now, and so what does that mean for
- 4:57Speaker 2: the industry. I'm companies like Caesars and Pen National flutter
- 5:00Speaker 2: DraftKings obviously.
- 5:01Speaker 3: Is it Pin National or is it just pin No?
- 5:03Speaker 2: I think Pen Gaming, Pen Gaming Gaming. So obviously they've
- 5:08Speaker 2: spent DraftKings and spent a lot of money. FANDUE, which
- 5:10Speaker 2: is under Flutter Entertainment, has spent a lot of money
- 5:12Speaker 2: on advertising. But there's so many people having advertises. You
- 5:16Speaker 2: can't turn the TV on without seeing the Caesars Online
- 5:18Speaker 2: Bennet commercials right now with a JB. Smooth. So what
- 5:22Speaker 2: are your thoughts about I don't understand.
- 5:25Speaker 3: Yeah, I don't understand his commercial. So Madison Square Garden
- 5:29Speaker 3: is empty and he's like yelling to the empty seats.
- 5:32Speaker 3: He's like, Caesar is here and there's nobody's.
- 5:35Speaker 4: Doing the prime of COVID. It's weird.
- 5:37Speaker 3: Shit, it's weird.
- 5:38Speaker 2: Uh well, we got to burry out of that, so
- 5:41Speaker 2: we gotta at least.
- 5:42Speaker 3: Be I'm not in any of those stocks, and I
- 5:47Speaker 3: never have been. And it's not that I don't think
- 5:49Speaker 3: online betting will be big. I just don't think it
- 5:51Speaker 3: will be that profitable. When you look at like Ladbrokes
- 5:54Speaker 3: and some of the companies that have been operating in
- 5:56Speaker 3: England legally for years, they're just not such great stocks.
- 6:01Speaker 3: And then you compound that with the problem of marketing,
- 6:06Speaker 3: like you're seeing those commercials everywhere. None of these companies
- 6:10Speaker 3: are profitable. They have to spend so much money to
- 6:13Speaker 3: acquire a customer, So I think that market has to consolidate.
- 6:17Speaker 3: There are too many earners.
- 6:19Speaker 2: What's up. You ever walk into a small business and
- 6:21Speaker 2: everything just works like the checkout is fast, their seats
- 6:25Speaker 2: are digital, tipping is a breeze and you're out the
- 6:28Speaker 2: door before the line even builds. Odds are they're using Square.
- 6:33Speaker 2: We love supporting businesses that run on Square because it
- 6:36Speaker 2: just feels seamless, whether it's a local coffee shop, a

- 7:27Speaker 2: This episode is brought to you by P and C Bank.
- 7:30Speaker 2: A lot of people think podcasts about work are boring,
- 7:33Speaker 2: and sure, they definitely can be, but understanding a professionals
- 7:37Speaker 2: routine shows us how they achieve their success little by little,
- 7:40Speaker 2: day after day. It's like banking with P and C Bank.
- 7:45Speaker 2: It might seem boring to save, plan and make calculated
- 7:47Speaker 2: decisions with your bank, but keeping your money boring is
- 7:50Speaker 2: what helps you live or more happily fulfilled life. P
- 7:54Speaker 2: and C Bank Brilliantly Boring since eighteen sixty five. Brilliantly
- 7:59Speaker 2: Boring since eight eighteen sixty five is a service mark
- 8:01Speaker 2: of the P and C Financial Service Group, Inc. P
- 8:04Speaker 2: and C Bank National Association.
- 8:06Speaker 5: Member a FDIC, an illegal alien from Guatemala charged with
- 8:12Speaker 5: raping a child in Massachusetts. An MS thirteen gang member
- 8:16Speaker 5: from Al Salvador accused of murdering a Texas man of
- 8:19Speaker 5: Venezuelan charged with filming and selling child pornography in Michigan.
- 8:24Speaker 5: These are just some of the heinous migrant criminals caught
- 8:28Speaker 5: because of President Donald J. Trump's leadership. I'm Christy Noman,
- 8:32Speaker 5: the United States Secretary of Homeland Security. Under President Trump,
- 8:36Speaker 5: attempted illegal border crossings are at the lowest levels ever recorded,
- 8:40Speaker 5: and over one hundred thousand illegal aliens have been arrested.
- 8:44Speaker 5: If you are here illegally, your next you will be
- 8:47Speaker 5: fined nearly one thousand dollars a day, imprisoned, and deported.
- 8:52Speaker 5: You will never return. But if you register using our
- 8:55Speaker 5: CBP home app and leave now, you could be allowed
- 8:58Speaker 5: to return legally. Do what's right. Leave now. Under President Trump,
- 9:03Speaker 5: America's laws, border and families will be protected.
- 9:07Speaker 4: Sponsored by the United States Department of Homeland Security.
- 9:10Speaker 3: There's MGM Caesars this that like there should be like
- 9:13Speaker 3: three of them, I feel like, and that's where it'll
- 9:15Speaker 3: ultimately go to. And I don't think that I'll be
- 9:18Speaker 3: able to figure out who's gonna win out of that crop. Like,
- 9:22Speaker 3: gun to my head, I would probably bet on the
- 9:24Speaker 3: barstool guys, just because the genius of that is that
- 9:29Speaker 3: they are the marketing, so they don't have to buy commercials.
- 9:33Speaker 3: But for the other guys, for Vanduel has to give
- 9:37Speaker 3: Bill Simmons a million dollars a minute basically, and DraftKings
- 9:41Speaker 3: is spending money like forget it, and like that's not
- 9:45Speaker 3: to me as an investor. I don't want to see
- 9:48Speaker 3: a business that requires that level and concentration of marketing
- 9:52Speaker 3: all the time. Yeah, because how do you ever make money?
- 9:56Speaker 2: Yeah, if you looked at it, like Flutter owns the
- 9:59Speaker 2: rights to fan Duel and so if you want to
- 10:01Speaker 2: invest a fans, you got to invest in them and
- 10:04Speaker 2: England yeah yeah, and FanDuel owns that I think like
- 10:08Speaker 2: thirty one percent of the market, And so it's kind
- 10:10Speaker 2: of weird because you got to invest Flood to invest
- 10:11Speaker 2: in them. So it's an interesting place. I still got
- 10:14Speaker 2: my DraftKings. I'm invested. So we'll see.
- 10:17Speaker 3: What's that stock? I don't even follow.
- 10:19Speaker 2: What's it gotta beat down? It hit a fifty two
- 10:22Speaker 2: weeks Friday. I think it got down to twenty five
- 10:24Speaker 2: hours on Friday.
- 10:26Speaker 3: Yeah, what's the evaluation?
- 10:27Speaker 2: Like?
- 10:28Speaker 3: Is it cheap? Yet? It was not cheap the last
- 10:30Speaker 3: time I looked twenty billion dollar market cap? All right,
- 10:36Speaker 3: I'll start following this thing. Yeah, I'm definitely not an
- 10:38Speaker 3: expert in this in this space by any means.
- 10:42Speaker 4: At a conference recently, you had a chance to sit
- 10:44Speaker 4: down with Kathy as a wealth manager. What are like
- 10:48Speaker 4: some of the biggest lessons that you've taken away from
- 10:50Speaker 4: her fall from Grace?
- 10:54Speaker 3: So, I think she's an extraordinary person and I'm a
- 10:57Speaker 3: huge fan of hers, and I know we talked about
- 10:59Speaker 3: that last year, but I was never an investor in
- 11:03Speaker 3: her funds, not because I didn't think that they could work,
- 11:06Speaker 3: because obviously they've had an amazing run prior to the
- 11:09Speaker 3: last let's call it six months or whatever. I just
- 11:13Speaker 3: don't believe in buying the most popular stocks as like
- 11:19Speaker 3: an investment strategy. And I know like she's focused on innovation,
- 11:24Speaker 3: and it just so happens that those stocks have become popular.
- 11:27Speaker 3: But every time a stock is in the news, like
- 11:30Speaker 3: a big, well known brand named stock because they miss
- 11:33Speaker 3: earnings or it's like getting killed later that day, it's like, oh,
- 11:37Speaker 3: arc just bought it. It's like it's become like a
- 11:39Speaker 3: portfolio of very controversial, you know stocks that are falling
- 11:44Speaker 3: off their highs, and DraftKings is one of them. And
- 11:46Speaker 3: Robin Hood and like she like she like jumps in,
- 11:51Speaker 3: not like she's going to rescue the stock, but she's like,
- 11:54Speaker 3: I feel like it's very headline driven. So I don't
- 11:57Speaker 3: invest that way with my own money. I'm not gonna
- 11:59Speaker 3: pay somebody to invest that way for me. So, you know,
- 12:03Speaker 3: from that standpoint, we've not allocated to her strategy. But
- 12:07Speaker 3: I do think that she's somebody that everybody should listen to.
- 12:11Speaker 3: I know everyone is listening to her already. She's uh,
- 12:15Speaker 3: she's she's become somewhat iconic. She's become like emblematic of
- 12:19Speaker 3: what the market was like in twenty twenty and twenty
- 12:21Speaker 3: twenty one, and even if that era has come to
- 12:24Speaker 3: an end, you can't take that away from her. She
- 12:27Speaker 3: had six ETFs that more than doubled in uh from
- 12:32Speaker 3: from I think the from the spring of twenty twenty
- 12:36Speaker 3: to the spring of twenty twenty one. Like nobody in
- 12:39Speaker 3: history has ever really had a run like that in
- 12:42Speaker 3: one year with so many different funds.
- 12:44Speaker 4: So you think she would have been better off about
- 12:46Speaker 4: concentrating in doing two.
- 12:49Speaker 3: Yeah, a little bit more, you know what her I
- 12:52Speaker 3: think the issue now is the press loves to build
- 12:56Speaker 3: you up so they could then tear you down. Absolutely
- 13:00Speaker 3: created her, like she's a product of Yahoo Finance needing
- 13:04Speaker 3: to write an article every fifteen minutes, and everybody Bloomberg, CNBC,
- 13:10Speaker 3: Wall Street Journal, Fortune, Forbes, everybody loves her story. She's
- 13:16Speaker 3: she's first of all, she's female in a game that
- 13:20Speaker 3: historically stockpicking has historically been dominated by famous men. She's fearless,
- 13:27Speaker 3: she's on Twitter, she does social media. Like there's a
- 13:30Speaker 3: lot about her that made the financial media fall in
- 13:32Speaker 3: love with her. And you know, I talked to the
- 13:35Speaker 3: editors at like big publications and they're like, dude, if
- 13:39Speaker 3: we just put Elon or Kathy in the headline, it's
- 13:44Speaker 3: it's like ten x what any other headline we wrote
- 13:48Speaker 3: that day will do. So they created her, and they
- 13:52Speaker 3: feasted off of her. And now that her strategy is
- 13:56Speaker 3: out of favor, like high growth innovative companies are just
- 14:01Speaker 3: not in favor. Now they're gonna rip her apart for
- 14:05Speaker 3: even more clicks. So every day, all the publications, like
- 14:10Speaker 3: there'll be at least one article from every newspaper about
- 14:14Speaker 3: how fucked up Kathy's fund is or you know, she's
- 14:18Speaker 3: down more than the NASDAC you know, over the last
- 14:21Speaker 3: eighteen minutes. So whatever headline, it sucks watching that because
- 14:24Speaker 3: I got to know her as a person and I
- 14:27Speaker 3: can only imagine sitting in her seat. It's not that
- 14:30Speaker 3: she's changed her strategy, it's that no strategy is always
- 14:36Speaker 3: in favor.
- 14:38Speaker 4: My graduates from my school being forced back drop drop Mike,
- 14:44Speaker 4: drop bag drop drop.
- 14:57Speaker 5: An illegal alien from Guatemala charged with raping a child
- 15:01Speaker 5: in Massachusetts. An MS thirteen gang member from Al Salvador
- 15:05Speaker 5: accused of murdering a Texas man of Venezuelan charged with
- 15:09Speaker 5: filming and selling child pornography in Michigan. These are just
- 15:13Speaker 5: some of the heinous migrant criminals caught because of President
- 15:17Speaker 5: Donald J. Trump's leadership. I'm Christy Noman, the United States
- 15:20Speaker 5: Secretary of Homeland Security. Under President Trump, attempted illegal border
- 15:25Speaker 5: crossings are at the lowest levels ever recorded, and over
- 15:29Speaker 5: one hundred thousand illegal aliens have been arrested. If you
- 15:32Speaker 5: are here illegally, your next you will be fined nearly
- 15:36Speaker 5: one thousand dollars a day, imprisoned, and deported. You will
- 15:40Speaker 5: never return. But if you register using our CBP home
- 15:44Speaker 5: app and leave now, you could be allowed to return legally.
- 15:48Speaker 5: Do what's right, leave now. Under President Trump, America's laws,
- 15:52Speaker 5: border and families will be protected.
- 15:55Speaker 2: Sponsored by the United States Department of Homeland Security,
