- 0:00Speaker 1: Thinks that must go on the radio.
- 0:08Speaker 2: Ah, Yes, things that must go. These are things that
- 0:11Speaker 2: you want to disappear from your life that are aggravating.
- 0:14Speaker 2: Some of them are some of them are kind of massive,
- 0:17Speaker 2: some of them are just little little irritations. But whatever
- 0:21Speaker 2: it may be, you want these things out of your life.
- 0:23Speaker 2: These are things that must go. And one of the
- 0:25Speaker 2: best ways to handle it, we've found is if you
- 0:27Speaker 2: if you get it off your chest by sending us
- 0:30Speaker 2: your muscos. You can just put it in an email,
- 0:32Speaker 2: send it to Radio from Hell at x ninety six
- 0:34Speaker 2: dot com.
- 0:35Speaker 3: Put MUSCO in the subject.
- 0:37Speaker 2: Line, and if we read yours on the air, maybe
- 0:39Speaker 2: it'll make you feel better. And sometimes magically, these things do,
- 0:42Speaker 2: in fact disappear from people's lives. I'll start today. I've
- 0:47Speaker 2: got one of my own. I'll see if I can
- 0:48Speaker 2: describe this the right way. It's the toilet paper we
- 0:51Speaker 2: have at our house. And I don't know. I think
- 0:54Speaker 2: it's something that comes shipped in a big you know.
- 0:57Speaker 3: Can cost cost co.
- 0:59Speaker 2: No, it gets mailed to the house. It's from it's
- 1:02Speaker 2: some environmentally friendly sort of.
- 1:05Speaker 4: Oh then it's not very sturdy, is it.
- 1:07Speaker 2: No, it is very study it's very sturdy. It's it's
- 1:10Speaker 2: it's a little it's a little rough, which I don't mind,
- 1:14Speaker 2: but I got what chips in it?
- 1:15Speaker 3: Like?
- 1:15Speaker 2: Well anyway, But so so we have this toilet paper
- 1:19Speaker 2: holder and it's just a little post that sticks up,
- 1:23Speaker 2: so instead of having it roll, you know, you roll
- 1:26Speaker 2: roll one way or the other. And there's always the
- 1:28Speaker 2: debate should it roll over the top or from underneath?
- 1:30Speaker 2: But this is just a post, and so you put
- 1:32Speaker 2: it on there, and but I can't. You can't find
- 1:35Speaker 2: the beginning of the toilet paper all the time. It's
- 1:39Speaker 2: like tape, you know, if you have If you have tape,
- 1:41Speaker 2: you can't find. You're looking, and I'm sitting there trying. Finally,
- 1:47Speaker 2: finally I find it, and it's just very irritating to me.
- 1:51Speaker 3: All right. This one is uh.
- 1:52Speaker 2: People who stop at a red light and stay twenty
- 1:55Speaker 2: to thirty feet back from the line you pull up,
- 1:57Speaker 2: so that the light sensors don't recognize someone there, or
- 2:00Speaker 2: even better, they're second or third in the turn lane,
- 2:03Speaker 2: but distance themselves so far back from the car in
- 2:06Speaker 2: front of them that it delays and causes the light
- 2:08Speaker 2: to turn red faster than it should because it doesn't
- 2:11Speaker 2: know a line of cars are waiting because the one
- 2:14Speaker 2: car that, of course makes it through the yellow light,
- 2:16Speaker 2: but nobody else.
- 2:17Speaker 3: Why why do these people do that? It drives me crazy.
- 2:20Speaker 3: You gotta scooch up, Thanks Tasha.
- 2:24Speaker 2: This one says you can use my name. It's Aaron.
- 2:27Speaker 2: My thing that must go. Is the way the Sandy
- 2:29Speaker 2: Amphitheater concert venue does seating. They have numbered sections. The
- 2:34Speaker 2: even sections have even numbered seats two, four to six,
- 2:38Speaker 2: et cetera. The odd sections have odd number seats one, three, five,
- 2:42Speaker 2: et cetera. So when you get your tickets for the event,
- 2:45Speaker 2: for example, Jimmy World, we had tickets in section six,
- 2:49Speaker 2: Row Q, seats twenty two and twenty four. On first glance,
- 2:53Speaker 2: this looks like your two seats have someone else in
- 2:56Speaker 2: the middle see twenty three. So you freak out start
- 2:58Speaker 2: trying to figure out how you messed up when buying tickets,
- 3:01Speaker 2: But then you find out that's each twenty two and
- 3:03Speaker 2: twenty four are.
- 3:04Speaker 3: Actually right next to each other. Weird.
- 3:07Speaker 2: Just do regular seating numbers, please. Each road should start
- 3:10Speaker 2: at one and and where it needs to. Yes, I
- 3:14Speaker 2: cannot figure out a logical reason why they do this.
- 3:17Speaker 2: It must go, Thanks Aaron. And finally this one, please
- 3:20Speaker 2: don't say my name hello radio from Hell. Brace yourself
- 3:25Speaker 2: for this one. When you have just been diagnosed with
- 3:29Speaker 2: cancer and all of your friends, coworkers and relatives say
- 3:33Speaker 2: we're praying for you. Hasn't the last two decades taught
- 3:38Speaker 2: you that just praying is useless and doesn't help you
- 3:42Speaker 2: know what would be more helpful, money and paid time
- 3:45Speaker 2: off you go. Sorry for the downer.
- 3:48Speaker 3: Thanks for letting me listen, Amen, Kerry.
- 3:52Speaker 1: Let's see a couple from the foot of Mount Dew.
- 3:56Speaker 1: Things that must go the bridge closure at forty five hundred,
- 4:00Speaker 1: which literally connects us to all of the places that
- 4:04Speaker 1: we go. More importantly, when I forget that the bridge
- 4:07Speaker 1: is closed and I have to take the detour and
- 4:10Speaker 1: it makes me late to appointments. Also must go sharing
- 4:14Speaker 1: our pie and beer day lemon pie with a friend
- 4:18Speaker 1: because I knew we couldn't eat the entire thing, then
- 4:21Speaker 1: being sad when we finish our pie, and being mad.
- 4:24Speaker 3: Maybe I shared too much.
- 4:26Speaker 4: You know what, Harmon's you can buy half a pie,
- 4:29Speaker 4: which is perfect, just half a pie.
- 4:33Speaker 3: They don't have this lemon pie. Who wants half a pie?
- 4:36Speaker 3: I want it's just a couple of yous. I don't care. Wow,
- 4:41Speaker 3: a whole pie.
- 4:44Speaker 1: Let's see, you can use my name. It's it's a
- 4:48Speaker 1: It's a Nissa. I live in Sandy. My mother must
- 4:51Speaker 1: go for spelling my name Anissa with an eye, but
- 4:55Speaker 1: then pronouncing it Anissa.
- 4:58Speaker 3: I get it.
- 4:58Speaker 1: I have to let people know pronounce that way my
- 5:01Speaker 1: entire life, and I'm sure it gets old.
- 5:03Speaker 4: I think Anissa has called in our show and.
- 5:06Speaker 1: We've had this, We've had this discussion, and I think
- 5:08Speaker 1: maybe you should just let it go and go with
- 5:11Speaker 1: whatever people are saying.
- 5:12Speaker 3: Yeah, I'll answer to it.
- 5:14Speaker 1: Rather than try to correct them. Another thing that must
- 5:18Speaker 1: go is headlines on social media that say I can't
- 5:21Speaker 1: stop making this recipe or craft yeah, or whatever the
- 5:24Speaker 1: heck that person is making. I scroll by it because
- 5:27Speaker 1: I'm so tired of reading that annoying headline and thus
- 5:29Speaker 1: don't care about whatever it is.
- 5:32Speaker 3: This is the lemon pie of the summer. Yeah.
- 5:35Speaker 1: And lastly, I must go because now that Carrie has
- 5:38Speaker 1: started saying the names of cities people are calling from,
- 5:42Speaker 1: I find myself repeating cities I.
- 5:44Speaker 3: Hear while out and about in the same cadence. Yeah,
- 5:48Speaker 3: that's that's unfortunate or thanks for entertaining.
- 5:55Speaker 1: Let's see this one. This is from Ryan. My dad
- 5:58Speaker 1: is Max Power. So I've been driving for almost a year.
- 6:02Speaker 1: It'll be a year in September. Before I got my
- 6:05Speaker 1: driver's license, I studied about cars.
- 6:07Speaker 3: Hell.
- 6:07Speaker 1: I even had my boyfriend and dad teach me how
- 6:10Speaker 1: to change a tire. So, okay, I forgot what the
- 6:13Speaker 1: yellow horseshoe symbol.
- 6:15Speaker 3: The air tires are love? Oh yeah was.
- 6:18Speaker 1: I called my dad and asked him what to do.
- 6:20Speaker 1: He said, go to a tire shop and ask them
- 6:23Speaker 1: to take the winter air out and put the summer
- 6:26Speaker 1: air in.
- 6:27Speaker 3: Your dad's mean. I then asked my mom if.
- 6:30Speaker 1: We can give dad a I'm pregnant scare after he
- 6:33Speaker 1: did this to me. She said, yes, yes we can.
- 6:37Speaker 3: Thank you guys. That is funny and things that must go.
- 6:43Speaker 1: Superheroes being deplorable examples to young children. I took my
- 6:48Speaker 1: two granddaughters, seven and eleven to see Supergirl because the
- 6:51Speaker 1: youngest one is a huge fan of Spider Man. I
- 6:54Speaker 1: wanted her to see Oh a woman as he rose too. Unfortunately,
- 6:58Speaker 1: this movie stunk so bad it did just the opposite.
- 7:01Speaker 1: The heroin spent more than half the movie drunk and
- 7:04Speaker 1: stumbling around, vomiting with hangovers, having to lean against the
- 7:07Speaker 1: wall to use the toilet, et cetera. The movie was
- 7:10Speaker 1: an abomination.
- 7:12Speaker 3: Excuse me. I would just like to point out.
- 7:14Speaker 1: She watched her entire planet get destroyed.
- 7:18Speaker 3: She's dealing with some stuff.
- 7:20Speaker 1: There's a character arc at the end if you didn't
- 7:22Speaker 1: stick around. Might I also suggest the Wonder Woman TV
- 7:25Speaker 1: series very positive portrayal.
- 7:28Speaker 3: I don't know, carry though, you're not Wonder.
- 7:29Speaker 1: Woman, but the Supergirl TV series.
- 7:32Speaker 3: That's just not the way a lady should behave.
- 7:35Speaker 1: Wonder Woman, Captain Marvel the movie, but especially Miss Marvel
- 7:39Speaker 1: is a great example.
- 7:40Speaker 3: There you go, because she's about the kid's age, all right, Gina.
- 7:46Speaker 4: In movies and TV shows, this is mine when part,
- 7:51Speaker 4: a very important part of the plot involves the character
- 7:55Speaker 4: getting a text message and it's briefly flashed on this
- 8:00Speaker 4: screen and it's tiny and you can't read it, read it,
- 8:03Speaker 4: and they don't read it out loud, either read it
- 8:07Speaker 4: out loud or zoom in on the text and leave
- 8:11Speaker 4: it there for a session.
- 8:12Speaker 2: Sometimes they actually just super impose, like a subtitle, a
- 8:15Speaker 2: cross because something they're.
- 8:17Speaker 1: Always concerned that people are watching this stuff on their phones. Well,
- 8:21Speaker 1: if you're making the text that small on the screen,
- 8:25Speaker 1: if you're watching on your phone or your iPad, you're
- 8:27Speaker 1: not gonna be able to read that.
- 8:28Speaker 4: If if the text on the screen is important, make
- 8:32Speaker 4: it so I can see it and read it.
- 8:34Speaker 1: I've got a huge TV and a lot of times
- 8:37Speaker 1: the text so small I still can't read it.
- 8:39Speaker 3: Yeah, don't do that.
- 8:42Speaker 4: Let's see front of the program says you've been talking
- 8:44Speaker 4: about pine View Reservoir being low and being drained. What
- 8:48Speaker 4: must go is they aren't refunding all of the money
- 8:50Speaker 4: paid for reservations that have been canceled because of their
- 8:54Speaker 4: decision to drain it. They're keeping their reservation fees. That's
- 8:58Speaker 4: not okay. Let's see this one. Today, while swimming at
- 9:03Speaker 4: a lake, I got some new bling in my leg
- 9:05Speaker 4: in the form of a fishing lure. Needed to have
- 9:07Speaker 4: it removed at instacare before I was tangled in fishing line.
- 9:11Speaker 4: So first, make fishermen go away. I'm sick of all
- 9:13Speaker 4: the s they leave everywhere. Every time I go kayaking.
- 9:16Speaker 4: I'm cleaning up their messes. I do. Beer drinkers must
- 9:20Speaker 4: go unless they stay at the pub. No drinking beer
- 9:22Speaker 4: at lakes or in forest. They always have to break
- 9:24Speaker 4: the bottles and leave glass all over and cans all over.
- 9:28Speaker 4: Make them clean up their mess, take out what they
- 9:30Speaker 4: take in, or just disappear already.
- 9:32Speaker 3: Ah, that made me feel much better. Thank you Lord
- 9:35Speaker 3: good all right, thank you.
- 9:41Speaker 4: Thanks.
- 9:41Speaker 3: That must go on the radio from
