- 0:05[SPEAKER_00]: Welcome in, welcome in.
- 0:07[SPEAKER_00]: It is Monday morning, the fourteenth already pretty much halfway through July, my goodness.
- 0:12[SPEAKER_00]: Time is fine, and it's time for an episode of Broncos for breakfast.
- 0:16[SPEAKER_00]: We are your every Monday and Wednesday, and I feel like my light is wrong.
- 0:20[SPEAKER_00]: Now that you mentioned it, I don't typically use the white light, but how are you doing, Eric?
- 0:24[SPEAKER_00]: What's good?
- 0:25[SPEAKER_00]: What'd you do this weekend?
- 0:27[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I'm doing good.
- 0:27[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, ended up doing two shows.
- 0:31[SPEAKER_01]: So kind of cut into the weekend a little bit, but still able to spend plenty of time with the family.
- 0:35[SPEAKER_01]: We went over to my parents house on Friday and Saturday.
- 0:38[SPEAKER_01]: Did some, you know, fireworks that you can't do in Alaska, which isn't much as then, you know, play with some sport guns and water balloons, which they can't get time.
- 0:46[SPEAKER_01]: And then last night just relax, watch some movies.
- 0:49[SPEAKER_01]: got the wife into watching Reacher on Amazon, which is such a good show.
- 0:53[SPEAKER_01]: I've already seen it all, but yeah, just was able to relax and have a good time with the family.
- 0:59[SPEAKER_00]: Who is the actor on Reacher?
- 1:01[SPEAKER_01]: Alan Richardson, I think is the same?
- 1:04[SPEAKER_00]: Okay.
- 1:04[SPEAKER_00]: Is he the guy that's on Blue Mountain State?
- 1:06[SPEAKER_01]: Yes.
- 1:07[SPEAKER_01]: And it's very hard to have watched that show and then watch him in Reacher.
- 1:10[SPEAKER_01]: It's very hard.
- 1:12[SPEAKER_00]: Okay, God, he was so funny and blew him out in the state.
- 1:15[SPEAKER_00]: Like the, yeah, I mean spoiler alert.
- 1:18[SPEAKER_00]: Like the first episode with the cookie butt cheek race.
- 1:22[SPEAKER_00]: And then the one where he takes the condom and hides it.
- 1:28[SPEAKER_00]: God, man, what a, that's such a funny show.
- 1:30[SPEAKER_00]: My dad and I watched it when I think I was in high school or college over somewhere at some point.
- 1:33[SPEAKER_00]: But that's a, that is a funny one for sure.
- 1:36[SPEAKER_00]: Don't two seasons, three seasons.
- 1:38[SPEAKER_00]: I don't know.
- 1:39[SPEAKER_00]: Did I make a movie?
- 1:40[SPEAKER_00]: There's something like it was coming back and I never, I don't know, ended up watching it.
- 1:43[SPEAKER_00]: All right.
- 1:43[SPEAKER_00]: Well, they do have their, they are the Broncos, right?
- 1:46[SPEAKER_00]: I think so blue and orange even.
- 1:47[SPEAKER_00]: So it's on topic.
- 1:49[SPEAKER_00]: I appreciate everyone coming in saying hello this morning.
- 1:52[SPEAKER_00]: We got Mike Thompson saying, Reacher is rad relax and let the best people up, beat the last people up.
- 1:58[SPEAKER_00]: There you go.
- 1:59[SPEAKER_00]: And we also got Michael Roncchio.
- 2:01[SPEAKER_00]: Good morning, Nick and Eric.
- 2:02[SPEAKER_00]: Broncos for breakfast, go Bob Broncos.
- 2:05[SPEAKER_00]: Go Michael, good to see you.
- 2:07[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, my wife is in another life.
- 2:09[SPEAKER_00]: My wife, I think, would have been a TV critic because she always, like, she's pretty good at picking good shows out.
- 2:15[SPEAKER_00]: And I only pretty, like, all my TV consumption, Eric is whatever I watch with her other than football, because football takes up so much time that my, like, free TV time is football.
- 2:26[SPEAKER_00]: So I go a lot of times to watch anything.
- 2:28[SPEAKER_00]: It's something that we both want to watch.
- 2:29[SPEAKER_00]: But we just finished the second season of severance, which is
- 2:34[SPEAKER_00]: Awesome.
- 2:35[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, not a crazy thing to say that.
- 2:36[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, really good.
- 2:37[SPEAKER_00]: And I think we're going to watch a shrinking coming up here.
- 2:40[SPEAKER_00]: And we've been watching the new season of Abbott Elementary, which is very clever, very funny, always good for a good laugh that fake documentary, but a lot of heart, but silly.
- 2:49[SPEAKER_00]: So appreciate it.
- 2:50[SPEAKER_00]: But soon, Eric, it's going to be time to be digging into preseason tape, college football, tape here pretty soon, excited for that as well.
- 3:01[SPEAKER_00]: And yeah, I don't know that.
- 3:03[SPEAKER_00]: I have no real inkling on this upcoming draft class other than it looks like a pretty good on the offensive and defensive side of the balls.
- 3:12[SPEAKER_00]: Unfortunately, not really great at white receiver, a position that we're going to talk about today, but have you started any, uh, twenty, twenty, six draft or any idea early on?
- 3:22[SPEAKER_00]: I know that somebody who I have a vendetta against Caden Proctor, he'll probably be out of reach for the Broncos, but you never know.
- 3:29[SPEAKER_00]: This time, you already never know.
- 3:31[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I haven't done a whole lot.
- 3:32[SPEAKER_01]: There's a few names that direct that I know I've done a little bit on some of the quarterbacks just to get them kind of out of the way.
- 3:38[SPEAKER_01]: For now.
- 3:42[SPEAKER_01]: And that's bad, it really.
- 3:44[SPEAKER_01]: I'm still kind of compiling the list of guys to watch and sorting through it and it's a long process for me.
- 3:50[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, start off with about fifteen hundred names and I got to get it out to five to seven hundred and fifty at the most.
- 3:57[SPEAKER_01]: So it's a long process, but I'm in the works of it.
- 3:59[SPEAKER_01]: I haven't really dug into any guys that makes sense for the Broncos at this moment.
- 4:05[SPEAKER_01]: So just quarterbacks pretty much and he'll keep going and keep growing and keep getting more insights on these guys with time goes on.
- 4:14[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, it's pretty unfortunate from what I've seen from the wide receivers.
- 4:17[SPEAKER_00]: I don't even know if there's a first round grade caliber guy at this point, which some somebody going to first round wide receivers unbelievably valuable.
- 4:25[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, you can make an argument.
- 4:26[SPEAKER_00]: It's the second most valuable position in sports right now with how they're paying the top guys, but
- 4:32[SPEAKER_00]: Doesn't seem like a good wide receiver class, but hey, that just means more trench play for you and me or best defense of player available.
- 4:39[SPEAKER_00]: Linebackers are real dark horse.
- 4:40[SPEAKER_00]: I don't know if there's a tight end of that's worth it at this point, but you never tried and what really tied in.
- 4:47[SPEAKER_01]: There's like pretty much consensus of three or four guys that are first round.
- 4:50[SPEAKER_00]: Who are they?
- 4:52[SPEAKER_01]: Eli Stowers out of Vanderbilt is one of them and I can't remember who the opponent was just looking at it.
- 4:59[SPEAKER_01]: Probably about forty minutes ago, I was actually just looking at it.
- 5:01[SPEAKER_01]: Let me see here if I can't find it.
- 5:08[SPEAKER_00]: I know that there's the Oregon guy.
- 5:10[SPEAKER_01]: The Oregon guy is one of the Oregon guys.
- 5:12[SPEAKER_01]: One of them as well.
- 5:12[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, that's the only one that I've seen in the first round.
- 5:15[SPEAKER_01]: Texas has has a kid in total Ohio State.
- 5:19[SPEAKER_00]: Okay, Max Clare from Ohio State, I see the name here.
- 5:22[SPEAKER_00]: Well, we will see Titan, oh, I know, and I also really like last year Oscar Delp coming out of Georgia just because he's a freak athlete.
- 5:29[SPEAKER_00]: So we'll see, long way to go, but man, it's July and we're already ready for some, at least some philosophical, twenty, twenty, six stuff with the, with the draft.
- 5:39[SPEAKER_00]: Let's say a little more folks coming in.
- 5:41[SPEAKER_00]: Mike Thompson says Superman and Louis were, was really well done on the CW if you like Superman.
- 5:48[SPEAKER_00]: I'll let my buddy, I have a buddy who's obsessed with Superman.
- 5:50[SPEAKER_00]: So I'm sure he's already watched it.
- 5:52[SPEAKER_00]: He's owns everything Superman.
- 5:54[SPEAKER_00]: But yeah, no, cool.
- 5:56[SPEAKER_00]: Good to hear.
- 5:57[SPEAKER_00]: James, E. Doc, J.C.
- 5:59[SPEAKER_00]: says good morning with the sun reacts.
- 6:01[SPEAKER_00]: Need to put those sun reacts away.
- 6:02[SPEAKER_00]: James, it's going to be in the mid eighties here in Seattle, which is like, oh, your, you guys are soft.
- 6:07[SPEAKER_00]: Mid eighties in Seattle, and we don't have air conditioning because it's never gets hot enough here in our house is built to capture heat.
- 6:12[SPEAKER_00]: So it's typically
- 6:14[SPEAKER_00]: five degrees warmer inside than outside.
- 6:16[SPEAKER_00]: So, eighty to five outside means ninety degrees in my house, which is miserable.
- 6:21[SPEAKER_00]: But luckily I'm doing the show in the basement otherwise I would look like I have a fever from a cold sweat or warm sweat.
- 6:26[SPEAKER_00]: Denver Luke, morning y'all, hope you're doing well.
- 6:28[SPEAKER_00]: Denver Luke always good to see.
- 6:30[SPEAKER_00]: Gatorie Gaming says happy Gilmour two releases next week.
- 6:33[SPEAKER_00]: Well, hopefully that's good.
- 6:35[SPEAKER_00]: That'll be fun.
- 6:35[SPEAKER_00]: I haven't gotten the movies in a little while, so hard to do with the out family babysitter nearby, move coming up, et cetera, et cetera.
- 6:44[SPEAKER_00]: Rodney's given us his, oh, and we also got to the Michael scene.
- 6:47[SPEAKER_00]: Rocky Manicamp Wednesday.
- 6:48[SPEAKER_00]: So excited for that.
- 6:49[SPEAKER_00]: Okay, we got to dig into this, I guess, Erica.
- 6:54[SPEAKER_00]: RJ Harvey.
- 6:55[SPEAKER_00]: RJ Harvey in the and the NFL at large.
- 6:58[SPEAKER_00]: Second round contracts.
- 6:59[SPEAKER_00]: RJ Harvey has not signed yet.
- 7:01[SPEAKER_00]: Charlie Baron has not signed yet.
- 7:03[SPEAKER_00]: Also for Denver.
- 7:04[SPEAKER_00]: So have you heard anything here?
- 7:07[SPEAKER_00]: Do you have thoughts?
- 7:07[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, it just feels like this is something that always gets taken care of.
- 7:12[SPEAKER_00]: And I do the details actually matter that much for me for rookie contract.
- 7:17[SPEAKER_00]: It could figure it out.
- 7:17[SPEAKER_00]: But the second round, so I'm more specific, he's got a Baron.
- 7:21[SPEAKER_00]: It'll work itself out, I think.
- 7:22[SPEAKER_00]: The second round contract stuff is an NFL wide weirdness right now thanks to the Houston Texans and giving a fully guaranteed contract to Jaden Higgins out of Iowa State.
- 7:34[SPEAKER_00]: So thoughts there, anything on the Broncos front that you've heard, I mean,
- 7:40[SPEAKER_00]: I know it's if there's any position you want somebody like maybe missing out if it's a rookie it's probably running back but at the same time like past protection getting through the motion that the receiving stuff working with the coaches I mean it's a problem and it could change dramatically my early season projection for the running back position.
- 7:59[SPEAKER_01]: I still expect some at some point one of these teams to kind of break away from the rest because we know that NFL teams collude with each other when it goes to certain things.
- 8:10[SPEAKER_01]: We know that already been proven, especially with contracts time about that was quarterback contracts after Deshawn Watson.
- 8:18[SPEAKER_01]: So I expect at some point teams will
- 8:22[SPEAKER_01]: break from it to get their second-round pick signed LNB surprise if it's here soon and I mean if Greg Penner and the Walter Penner group had any Cahones they would just kind of do what do what they need to get RJ Harvey signed and just break from it.
- 8:42[SPEAKER_01]: You know, I'm talking about the sixtieth overall pick and thirty of thirty two second-round picks from me and I signed well that puts more pressure on
- 8:49[SPEAKER_01]: other teams, which can as you said, it can impact with some certain positions missing time on training camp.
- 8:55[SPEAKER_01]: We already know that the Los Angeles Chargers second on pick is going to be holding out of training camp as he's looking for that guaranteed money.
- 9:02[SPEAKER_01]: So you can use that as kind of a advantage come early regular season if they just go ahead and honestly give them all guaranteed, but
- 9:13[SPEAKER_01]: give them, you know, fifty percent guaranteed or whatever it takes to get it done and just get ahead and put the pressure on the other teams to get the deals done and I'm more intrigued by what's going on with the second run picks than shot a bear and not having signed because that's where there's not much of a discussion there.
- 9:32[SPEAKER_01]: The guy before I'm signed, the guy after I'm signed, you know where his contract is going to fall in place.
- 9:36[SPEAKER_01]: It's just a matter of getting it done.
- 9:37[SPEAKER_01]: I'm sure there's could be some, there's some language aspect to it kind of like we have with, uh, Shamar Stewart in the Cincinnati Bengals when it comes to money voting.
- 9:46[SPEAKER_01]: And so I'm sure there might be something like that with it, but I'm not worried about it.
- 9:49[SPEAKER_01]: I expected to get done.
- 9:50[SPEAKER_01]: And yeah, as I said, I would just get that second round pick done do whatever it takes and just put the pressure on other owners.
- 9:57[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, no, absolutely.
- 9:58[SPEAKER_00]: And also, did you shave?
- 9:59[SPEAKER_00]: Did I turn it down?
- 10:02[SPEAKER_01]: I turned it down.
- 10:05[SPEAKER_00]: All right, Senate Kendall shown now.
- 10:07[SPEAKER_00]: Mary, son, we're just getting up.
- 10:08[SPEAKER_00]: But I did too.
- 10:10[SPEAKER_00]: I did too is getting too hot.
- 10:12[SPEAKER_00]: But yeah, it's going to be.
- 10:14[SPEAKER_00]: interesting to follow the as an NFL story line going forward.
- 10:19[SPEAKER_00]: Totally disrupted the status quo there.
- 10:22[SPEAKER_00]: I do wonder if the league is going to be annoyed at the Houston Texans for this.
- 10:27[SPEAKER_00]: Like I've given what we found out about the quarterback collusion stuff from the recent NFL PA is it dossiers at the right word that was released and how.
- 10:37[SPEAKER_00]: And FAPA wanted a arbiter to look at the process of Russell Wilson's contract, Kyle Murray's contract, and somebody else is not, not ringing a bell right now, but they said, well, they're colluding and didn't find to be true collusion there.
- 10:52[SPEAKER_00]: There's some guidance, suggestions from the league.
- 10:55[SPEAKER_00]: But then you have this thing happening to the Texans that really disrupts it.
- 10:58[SPEAKER_00]: So with the second round rookie contracts and the guaranteed, which is what they do not want to do.
- 11:02[SPEAKER_00]: NFL does not want to give out the guaranteed contracts.
- 11:07[SPEAKER_00]: We will see I do think maybe since the Broncos ownership group is still relatively new.
- 11:12[SPEAKER_00]: They aren't going to try to disrupt like you mentioned, you know, throwing your money around a little bit with the ownership group.
- 11:17[SPEAKER_00]: I could see them, you know, trying to be good for the lead rather than tossing the money around because I every single team can do that, but we'll see.
- 11:28[SPEAKER_00]: It's really unfortunate though that it's happening because I mean, we've said it on the show.
- 11:32[SPEAKER_00]: I think RJ Harvey is probably the singular most important addition to this team for the twenty twenty six season given offensive line was great last season defense was great last season.
- 11:44[SPEAKER_00]: You didn't make a premier investment at tight end or wide receiver.
- 11:48[SPEAKER_00]: Uh, for this year.
- 11:48[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, we'll see what happens with Pat Brian.
- 11:49[SPEAKER_00]: I wouldn't call a seventy four overall premiere for twenty twenty twenty five season.
- 11:54[SPEAKER_00]: But RJ Harvey's second round pick running back.
- 11:56[SPEAKER_00]: That's a premier investment in the Broncos running game was bad last year to spite all the metrics and the blocking was pretty good.
- 12:02[SPEAKER_00]: We know Peyton can scheme up the run game as well.
- 12:04[SPEAKER_00]: So I'm a little bit bummed.
- 12:07[SPEAKER_00]: I guess is how I put it.
- 12:08[SPEAKER_00]: I don't blame RJ Harvey at all.
- 12:10[SPEAKER_00]: go get your money king.
- 12:12[SPEAKER_00]: God bless you.
- 12:12[SPEAKER_00]: This could be your only contract you never know.
- 12:14[SPEAKER_00]: So get as much as you can.
- 12:16[SPEAKER_00]: But I just I have a lot writing on him.
- 12:20[SPEAKER_00]: I think me personally, but I think the team, but I have a lot writing on him.
- 12:24[SPEAKER_00]: for the success of the Broncos and the offense taking a evolving a step further.
- 12:30[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I just said, I don't expect the Walter Penner group to break from the rest of the NFL and do it.
- 12:35[SPEAKER_01]: That's why I said if they had the corners they would, but there's still one of the newer owners and so there's still, you know, not what we don't want to make waves just yet and upset other owners.
- 12:49[SPEAKER_01]: But sure would be nice, just for them to do that.
- 12:52[SPEAKER_01]: Also, it would send a clear message about the seriousness of continuing to make sure they have the pieces of Ron Bowniks, not letting that second Ron investment in that running back missed time and training camp, because it's getting to the point where that deadline is coming, where he has to show up, or he's holding out like tray Harris for the chargers.
- 13:10[SPEAKER_01]: I mentioned that.
- 13:11[SPEAKER_01]: So we're almost there at that point.
- 13:13[SPEAKER_01]: So they just need to, they need to get it done.
- 13:16[SPEAKER_01]: I'm not worried about Jolly Baron.
- 13:18[SPEAKER_01]: I can't
- 13:19[SPEAKER_01]: say that enough, but the situation with the second rompix with RJ Harvey because it being league-wide, that is not necessarily certain to worry, but it's starting to cause some concern.
- 13:30[SPEAKER_01]: I do think you eventually will get it figured out, but how long what team breaks the trend, what team starts, you know, makes their signing and then that, you know, creates a domino effect of all the other team's signing and there's second rompix.
- 13:42[SPEAKER_01]: Still got a witness in that, but Shadebaran,
- 13:46[SPEAKER_01]: I still expect him to get signed probably, you know, no later than Wednesday or Thursday, but Argy Harvey, it could be another week or two still at the very least.
- 13:55[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, absolutely.
- 13:56[SPEAKER_00]: Rod and a saying offensive tackle and lineback of we're twenty twenty six linebackers so hard just because there's.
- 14:02[SPEAKER_00]: it's becoming really rare for first round caliber linebackers to come into the league because the game is so freaking different from college football to the NFL because of the hash marks and what they're allowed to do in the spacing that linebackers have to cover compared to the condensed box sets you're seeing more so in the NFL.
- 14:19[SPEAKER_00]: So linebackers tough.
- 14:21[SPEAKER_00]: I do know there is a lot of love for that Texas cat Anthony Hill Jr.
- 14:26[SPEAKER_00]: We will see what happens with him.
- 14:28[SPEAKER_00]: I think
- 14:29[SPEAKER_00]: Georgia has a guy as well, but linebackers are tough one.
- 14:32[SPEAKER_00]: That's you want one, but they just do not really come from the college game at a very high proficient level.
- 14:41[SPEAKER_00]: And because the game is so different, you're evaluating them.
- 14:45[SPEAKER_00]: on a game that doesn't exactly translate the skill sets and ask don't exactly translate to the NFL.
- 14:50[SPEAKER_00]: So it's risky.
- 14:52[SPEAKER_00]: It's a risky position, not so there's it's becoming one of those positions where it's like they are valuable, but it's almost a scarcity based driver of value.
- 15:02[SPEAKER_00]: the same time you're not really like there's a strong correlation to hitting and knowing what an offense attack will look like coming out in the first round on the hit right there linebackers one of the worst hit rate positions is really a just a mixed bag round one so round two did day two still a mixed bag but at least it's not going to totally destroy you see you do Sanders I mean Broncos looks like that looks like away right now but Broncos team still looking pretty good so
- 15:27[SPEAKER_00]: We'll see, I'm off into tackle though.
- 15:29[SPEAKER_00]: I still throw out defensive line.
- 15:31[SPEAKER_00]: You're going to lose Roach, DJ Jones, a year older.
- 15:33[SPEAKER_00]: We'll see about JFM and John Franklin there if you don't know about saving on Jones still.
- 15:36[SPEAKER_00]: And when in doubt, add to the trenches.
- 15:40[SPEAKER_00]: I think that's like, teams that are really good.
- 15:42[SPEAKER_00]: It's like how the Eagles keep doing this.
- 15:43[SPEAKER_00]: That players fall to them, but they also just continuously use premium picks on that.
- 15:46[SPEAKER_00]: And it's like, there's going to be reps.
- 15:48[SPEAKER_00]: We're going to be strong there.
- 15:49[SPEAKER_00]: We're just going to keep rotating them and developing.
- 15:52[SPEAKER_00]: So if the problem is on a position where there's not a glaring flashing red light at a position,
- 15:58[SPEAKER_00]: They might be one at wed receiver, we'll see, but there might not be to play or available.
- 16:01[SPEAKER_00]: I'm not really hyped about the hybrid receivers I've seen, but I'm just tossing another pick on the defensive line makes sense.
- 16:07[SPEAKER_00]: Well, so many young guys, though, we'll see how that plays out.
- 16:09[SPEAKER_00]: We'll get to that next week.
- 16:11[SPEAKER_00]: Our didn't excuse me, Wednesday, for the defensive line battles as well.
- 16:14[SPEAKER_00]: Greg Smith, good morning, Broncos Country, and Denver Broncos for life.
- 16:18[SPEAKER_00]: Congress says, one at one point in both career, the Broncos will get offensive weapons, the caliber of what Burrow has,
- 16:23[SPEAKER_00]: I'm going to be honest with you, Kanga.
- 16:25[SPEAKER_00]: I think it's probably safe to say never because how often do teams actually have a top two-wide receiver in the NFL and it's top fifteen-wide receiver in the NFL at the same time and also the other aspect of this and sorry, or come on, I'm on a roll right now.
- 16:41[SPEAKER_00]: I've got to let you talk to.
- 16:43[SPEAKER_00]: The other aspect of this is I don't know Sean Payton
- 16:48[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, you take him if you can get him.
- 16:49[SPEAKER_00]: No doubt, but like I don't think he's going to hunt to have.
- 16:52[SPEAKER_00]: We got to copy what Burro has as weapons.
- 16:55[SPEAKER_00]: Based on how he's talking, he's talking much more about the offensive line, the defense, and the running game in general, compared to the past capturing weapons.
- 17:03[SPEAKER_00]: Now he does obviously value them.
- 17:05[SPEAKER_00]: One of the Joker, blah, blah, blah.
- 17:06[SPEAKER_00]: It does want them, but I don't think he needs to have number two.
- 17:09[SPEAKER_00]: I'd receive her in the NFL, number eleven.
- 17:12[SPEAKER_00]: I'd receive her in the NFL to get it done.
- 17:15[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, that's kind of the thing when you look at the citizen of the bankals, their issues come from their offensive line.
- 17:20[SPEAKER_01]: It hasn't been built up.
- 17:21[SPEAKER_01]: It remains to be a question and we can turn.
- 17:24[SPEAKER_01]: So I don't see Sean Peyton, you know, not necessarily ignoring, but devaluing the offensive line for offensive weapons, such as never been his style.
- 17:34[SPEAKER_01]: He's always had that value on the offensive line.
- 17:36[SPEAKER_01]: It all starts and ends in the trenches.
- 17:39[SPEAKER_01]: So I don't, I don't expect it unless it just happens to fall into his lap.
- 17:43[SPEAKER_01]: like if Pat Bryant and turns into like one of those receivers and Troy Franklin or Devon Bailey or Rub Mims, like unless it just happens naturally, I don't expect him to happen.
- 17:54[SPEAKER_01]: He's not going to go on to it.
- 17:56[SPEAKER_01]: I won't say that a hundred percent guaranteed, but ninety nine point nine percent Sean Payton's not going to go on trying to get two top fifteen wide receivers for Bones.
- 18:06[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, and the Bingo's kind of locked into it too, just some extent, right?
- 18:10[SPEAKER_00]: And once you have them, you don't want to let them walk.
- 18:13[SPEAKER_00]: Eric Smith, aside from the obvious ones, keeping an eye on Eres on Drew Sanders progress, really hope he comes along.
- 18:18[SPEAKER_00]: He will see plenty of opportunities to play being behind Singleton and Green Laugh as long as he's healthy.
- 18:24[SPEAKER_00]: He's one that feels like he's very much on the roster bubble right now.
- 18:27[SPEAKER_00]: We're going to talk about him more on Wednesday.
- 18:29[SPEAKER_00]: We're going to focus on offensive guys today, but yeah, Drew Sanders is an interesting one.
- 18:34[SPEAKER_00]: At this point, you probably can't write anybody off completely, but I know that he's one that it could go either way, and I would not be surprised for him, especially after adding Q Robinson.
- 18:45[SPEAKER_00]: Last year, we saw Drew Sanders make some splashes in special teams.
- 18:47[SPEAKER_00]: He's a blitz package player.
- 18:49[SPEAKER_00]: Kind of how Q was used in Q was, in the next savings word, the best special teams player he's ever coached.
- 18:57[SPEAKER_00]: I know they don't exactly play the same position, but they might fill the same rule this season at the same time.
- 19:03[SPEAKER_00]: So we'll see Greg Smith, it's a hundred and thirteen and he devised our own biggest today.
- 19:08[SPEAKER_00]: Barfe, my God.
- 19:10[SPEAKER_00]: Good luck.
- 19:11[SPEAKER_00]: Stay inside, pool.
- 19:12[SPEAKER_00]: I don't know.
- 19:12[SPEAKER_00]: That's just, it's a dry heat, hopefully, but that sounds not good.
- 19:17[SPEAKER_00]: Good to see you Roy Osborne.
- 19:19[SPEAKER_00]: Happy Gilmars on Netflix too.
- 19:20[SPEAKER_00]: See how much I pay attention to things.
- 19:21[SPEAKER_00]: I'm busy out here hiking and working right now, but great to see you.
- 19:26[SPEAKER_00]: Did they already release?
- 19:27[SPEAKER_00]: I don't even know.
- 19:28[SPEAKER_00]: I don't know.
- 19:28[SPEAKER_00]: Good morning from Chase.
- 19:29[SPEAKER_00]: Well, I'm talking about happy Gilmars.
- 19:30[SPEAKER_00]: He probably knows.
- 19:32[SPEAKER_00]: Good to see you.
- 19:33[SPEAKER_00]: Congress has billionaires problem as far as the Harvey stuff.
- 19:36[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 19:38[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 19:40[SPEAKER_00]: My Hamilton asked do other rookie contracts have those guarantees.
- 19:44[SPEAKER_00]: There's a lot more guarantees and obviously money in the first round contracts, but you haven't typically seen second round contracts get these massive guaranteed contracts.
- 19:51[SPEAKER_00]: What exactly they're paid is typically been like predetermined, like slotted, but how the contract stacks and the guarantees and how it falls, I think there's wiggle room for the teams and Texans kind of disrupted that this season.
- 20:04[SPEAKER_00]: So now everybody's holding out.
- 20:06[SPEAKER_00]: It's really interesting to follow.
- 20:08[SPEAKER_00]: No doubt.
- 20:09[SPEAKER_01]: And it's just one of the things that we've been building up to the point where we're going to start seeing second-round picks get fully geared to contracts.
- 20:15[SPEAKER_01]: All first-round picks do.
- 20:17[SPEAKER_01]: And so there's still some way with the structure of it, signing bonus first base salary.
- 20:23[SPEAKER_01]: That's one of those still fine-mine negotiating aspects as well as the voids, which is what the issue is with Smart Stewart and the Bengals.
- 20:33[SPEAKER_01]: But the second on picks, we've been building up to his damn certain to get second on picks.
- 20:37[SPEAKER_01]: I still think we were about two, maybe three years off from it happening until the Texans decided to do it, which is kind of thrown a ranch into the whole thing for the NFL, which is why again, thirty or thirty two, second on picks, we made unsigned.
- 20:51[SPEAKER_01]: Some team at some point has to cave in and they got to get it done.
- 20:55[SPEAKER_01]: And until then, who knows, it all comes down to hoop links first and makes it.
- 21:01[SPEAKER_01]: And then after that, I'd probably wouldn't expect if all thirty of them get signed within, you know, the next five to ten days after that first domino falls.
- 21:10[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 21:12[SPEAKER_00]: We'll see.
- 21:12[SPEAKER_00]: I hope it does happen quickly all at once and was training camp coming up.
- 21:16[SPEAKER_00]: It was a little bit of pressure to get it done, but
- 21:19[SPEAKER_00]: I don't know if it'll happen when it happens, I guess.
- 21:23[SPEAKER_01]: Deadlines for actions and training camp is one of those deadlines.
- 21:27[SPEAKER_00]: Yep.
- 21:28[SPEAKER_00]: and no doubt in the other part of that is the Broncos potentially signing some guys to contracts before creating, see what we talked ever before the season started, what we talked a lot about.
- 21:36[SPEAKER_00]: Steven says Broncos are die, might got Steven, the metal is hell, has this, why don't know, good to see, really do appreciate you coming in, saying hello.
- 21:45[SPEAKER_00]: Make sure you guys click the thumbs up on the win, we got Rodney's hand, I'm excited to see what sure field does on special teams and as a wide receiver.
- 21:51[SPEAKER_00]: So let's get into it, Eric.
- 21:53[SPEAKER_00]: The Broncos probably go another fifteen, twenty minutes here.
- 21:56[SPEAKER_00]: Broncos offensive side training came battle.
- 21:58[SPEAKER_00]: I think probably the most interesting and obvious is the battle for wide receiver.
- 22:03[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, we do know that we accord on sudden as the primary function of the Broncos are outlet, I guess, of the Broncos offensive pass game.
- 22:11[SPEAKER_00]: But after that, it is.
- 22:14[SPEAKER_00]: You know, a shotgun approach to a certain extent at wide receiver.
- 22:18[SPEAKER_00]: You have Devon Valley attorney, but he's had some dings this season where it's been kind of hush hush.
- 22:24[SPEAKER_00]: We'll see if anything comes of it when they actually have to start reporting things, but Sean Peyton has got testy during OTAs about Devon Valley conversations.
- 22:33[SPEAKER_00]: So I think he's right now at Bedham to be wide receiver too.
- 22:37[SPEAKER_00]: We're not including ever in anger in that, but
- 22:39[SPEAKER_00]: The industry stuff changes things that used a third-round pick on Pat Bryant, who's an interesting one.
- 22:44[SPEAKER_00]: He blocks so well, he's kind of a power slot, but is that Evan Ingraham's role more so this season?
- 22:50[SPEAKER_00]: How do they overlap with each other?
- 22:51[SPEAKER_00]: And then, of course, you got Marvin Mims exploded the last quarter of the season.
- 22:58[SPEAKER_00]: More gadgety, can he develop a little bit better as a
- 23:01[SPEAKER_00]: outrunner, the contested catches, year three for him, still a young player, and then Troy Franklin.
- 23:07[SPEAKER_00]: Also, Manchester, and I haven't given him much
- 23:11[SPEAKER_00]: attention.
- 23:12[SPEAKER_00]: I guess I've just kind of waved him off as just peer special teams, but I know no TA's sure field was making some plays and standing out to some extent.
- 23:19[SPEAKER_00]: And I expect him to make the roster too.
- 23:20[SPEAKER_00]: So he's it would be a probably a really bad thing.
- 23:24[SPEAKER_00]: If he ends up being your right receiver to three on the team for the Denver Broncos, but still can be a key contributor outside of just special teams.
- 23:32[SPEAKER_00]: So I'm
- 23:34[SPEAKER_00]: I'm very interested to see how wide receivers doing.
- 23:36[SPEAKER_00]: It's actually one of the positions I feel like we can actually, if they allow any information to get out, but we can clean information from wide receivers in training camp on like some of the trench stuff, some of the running back stuff, wide receivers.
- 23:48[SPEAKER_00]: Long as they're not running the TikTok routes out there in one of the ones, coaches should be on their butts for that.
- 23:55[SPEAKER_00]: Then we can find out a lot.
- 23:57[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, why does he have heard some of those positions where I think we know the six guys who are going to make the roster, maybe they surprised and keep his seventh, but at least in terms of that the six guys, I think they're pretty much set and safe.
- 24:09[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, if anybody after this before, if any of them are available, I have that spot available with Troy Franklin and I still think that it's more likely he makes the roster than not.
- 24:19[SPEAKER_01]: And the battle here, it's not just for water receiver too, but it's just water receiver two through six.
- 24:25[SPEAKER_01]: What are the roles, what's so usage, what where do they find themselves?
- 24:29[SPEAKER_01]: Does Marvin members become more of a gadget, more than a gadget receiver?
- 24:32[SPEAKER_01]: Does Troy Franklin show to be more than this deep guy or immediate catch guy?
- 24:37[SPEAKER_01]: He are trying to make him a yards out of the catch.
- 24:40[SPEAKER_01]: He can need to show that development to have more on his route tree than we saw last year.
- 24:46[SPEAKER_01]: But, you know, of course, the big one is wide receiver too.
- 24:48[SPEAKER_01]: Is it Devon Valley?
- 24:49[SPEAKER_01]: Is it Pat Bryant?
- 24:50[SPEAKER_01]: I still think that there's a competition there.
- 24:52[SPEAKER_01]: I do lean Devon Valley, but as you said, the injury, there was a wrinkle into it.
- 24:56[SPEAKER_01]: Maybe Troy Franklin does show this step up that I don't like either of us are really expecting.
- 25:01[SPEAKER_01]: And because, you know, ball tracking, catching the ball, route the route tree, the route running, the nuances of it.
- 25:08[SPEAKER_01]: All things that are on Troy Franklin's plate, plate, not sure you can show improvement in all those to where he went.
- 25:12[SPEAKER_01]: That's up wide receiver to you.
- 25:14[SPEAKER_01]: And Trump sure field.
- 25:15[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, as you said, if he ends up by receiver two, it would be a little bit surprised if he ends up more than I think would say, but receiver four, five, six, probably a bit concerning and probably a bad sign for the rest of the water receivers, but it's as you said, it's Trump ain't sick in a shotgun approach to this water receiver room and seeing who that water receiver two is going to be.
- 25:36[SPEAKER_01]: And maybe it's a situation where none of them really step up and take that spot and he just continues the shotgun approach route it and depending on down distance in situation changes what receivers out there as that wide receiver to.
- 25:48[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, that's definitely the.
- 25:52[SPEAKER_00]: Probably the most intriguing camp battle for the Broncos.
- 25:55[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, it's just the area where there's the most question, but also the most possibility given how many young players they have there.
- 26:01[SPEAKER_00]: So, and it's possible that none of them hit.
- 26:04[SPEAKER_00]: It's possible that you get multiple hit.
- 26:06[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, last I feel like entering Los Angeles and I was more doom and gloom, especially like the defense.
- 26:10[SPEAKER_00]: How many of these guys can actually hit?
- 26:12[SPEAKER_00]: Like they only have one first round pick.
- 26:13[SPEAKER_00]: They got none on the defensive line.
- 26:15[SPEAKER_00]: Question question question.
- 26:16[SPEAKER_00]: Holy bleep.
- 26:18[SPEAKER_00]: They're a top five defense.
- 26:19[SPEAKER_00]: So, you know, they might roll r- ya'll see as I like to say multiple times, but we will see.
- 26:25[SPEAKER_00]: It's going to be fascinating to follow for sure.
- 26:27[SPEAKER_00]: We're going to get a lot more information on them.
- 26:28[SPEAKER_00]: Rodney asks, see the Broncos picking up a veteran wide receiver.
- 26:32[SPEAKER_00]: If let's say Devon Bailey's injury for some reason causes him to miss the season, like they elect for surgery instead of for whatever's going on or something happens with the gun under the guy step up.
- 26:41[SPEAKER_00]: I guess anything can happen there.
- 26:43[SPEAKER_00]: for the Broncos, but as it stands, it seems pretty crowded and they seem happy to go with their youths and let them sort out.
- 26:50[SPEAKER_00]: But injuries can change things and how the guys look throughout training camp and preseason can change things as well.
- 26:56[SPEAKER_00]: So I think idle is the problem move right now.
- 26:59[SPEAKER_00]: What do you think, Eric?
- 27:01[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, unless I'm happens, as you said, injury or for lack of a better way to put a disappointment in one of their young guys, I don't expect them to see a bit out of better and better receiver.
- 27:12[SPEAKER_01]: It's just, they want to give the young guys that opportunity to step up and they don't want to cut into their practice reps or even staff counts come preseason games by bringing in a veteran letter receiver, unless it's absolutely necessary.
- 27:27[SPEAKER_00]: Yep, that just seems like where it's going right now, but we don't have, they don't have all the information.
- 27:32[SPEAKER_00]: That can change as you gather more information.
- 27:35[SPEAKER_00]: So we will see what happens there.
- 27:37[SPEAKER_00]: Sorry, I got a frog in my throat, what's the new.
- 27:39[SPEAKER_00]: Colling, I'll make some funny point.
- 27:40[SPEAKER_00]: Linebacker stood up, Broncos, I'm completely surrendered.
- 27:42[SPEAKER_00]: But you've been trying to draft any.
- 27:44[SPEAKER_00]: The league at large kind of his sister started to go that way.
- 27:48[SPEAKER_00]: So the only first round linebacker in the last like five years, I can think that looks like a hit right now, Eric is a Jack Campbell.
- 27:56[SPEAKER_00]: right like he was by season he looked like a top three to five linebacker despite things falling around falling apart around him and he actually somebody who played in the box stylistically big ten west football so questions about his athleticism and coverage but
- 28:11[SPEAKER_00]: Man, he's so smart and places.
- 28:12[SPEAKER_00]: It's a good player on my life.
- 28:14[SPEAKER_00]: When remember, I can remember where I was sitting here.
- 28:16[SPEAKER_00]: So we were like give a vivid memory texting you about Jack Campbell.
- 28:20[SPEAKER_00]: I was taking a the train from the Seattle airport back to my neighborhood.
- 28:26[SPEAKER_00]: And a given it's lack of coverage skills and questions and like overall athleticism.
- 28:30[SPEAKER_00]: I'm thinking probably a second round pick for him.
- 28:32[SPEAKER_00]: I think we got large had him.
- 28:34[SPEAKER_00]: But first round pick and he looks pretty darn good right now.
- 28:37[SPEAKER_00]: It's going to have some problems.
- 28:38[SPEAKER_00]: If you isolate him in space, but it comes down to like find me the linebacker who doesn't have that right now.
- 28:44[SPEAKER_00]: That doesn't have some other issues.
- 28:45[SPEAKER_00]: That's in front of Warner right?
- 28:46[SPEAKER_00]: He's the rule breaker, but it's tough.
- 28:49[SPEAKER_00]: There's just not the bodies out there for it.
- 28:53[SPEAKER_00]: Because offenses can dictate where the football goes, and it's become so matchup oriented in the past game, who's the weakest coverage player in your back seven?
- 29:02[SPEAKER_00]: Where's the most space going to be located a lot of times?
- 29:06[SPEAKER_00]: Mindbacker.
- 29:07[SPEAKER_00]: It's tough.
- 29:10[SPEAKER_00]: Trying to think of another, they're set up to lose a lot of times.
- 29:14[SPEAKER_00]: So if they don't lose, it's pretty special.
- 29:16[SPEAKER_00]: Troy Boer, in the United States, which players are often most likely special teams contributors, so to have an edge to making the team, sure field for sure.
- 29:24[SPEAKER_00]: He's one.
- 29:25[SPEAKER_00]: Of course, you also have a full-back Michael Burton.
- 29:30[SPEAKER_00]: He's the other one.
- 29:30[SPEAKER_00]: We'll see if they do the practice squad stuff with him again, helping down the season, but he's another one of the special teams stands out for him.
- 29:37[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, Michael Burton, I expect them to do what they did last year, practice squad for the first few weeks, and then once his eligibility is up, bringing them up onto the roster.
- 29:45[SPEAKER_01]: Another one is Nate Atkins.
- 29:47[SPEAKER_01]: If I remember right here, like the fourth or fifth, most special team snaps last year, and he did quite well.
- 29:52[SPEAKER_01]: And then he started to come around as a blocker.
- 29:55[SPEAKER_01]: I think he ended up the best blocking tight end for the Broncos last year by the end of the season.
- 30:00[SPEAKER_01]: which not saying a whole lot, but it still was pretty solid, showing from him.
- 30:06[SPEAKER_01]: So it's not just special teams for him.
- 30:08[SPEAKER_01]: And then can we throw Mara memes in there?
- 30:11[SPEAKER_01]: Because I was talking to that.
- 30:12[SPEAKER_01]: The broadcast special teams unit was largely made up of defense.
- 30:17[SPEAKER_01]: There's not really a bunch of depth guys on the offensive side of the ball who saw a lot of special teamships outside of the offensive lineman.
- 30:25[SPEAKER_01]: But that doesn't really, you know,
- 30:27[SPEAKER_01]: Special teams offensive line play doesn't necessarily guarantee you a roster spotlight again elsewhere.
- 30:33[SPEAKER_01]: Like for being a gunner or a returner.
- 30:37[SPEAKER_01]: Maybe object asked me.
- 30:38[SPEAKER_01]: He didn't see a whole lot of snaps there, but he did actually do decently on special teams when he was asked to do it.
- 30:46[SPEAKER_01]: I think he was just right around a hundred snaps on special teams last year.
- 30:48[SPEAKER_01]: And if you're going to be that, you know, fourth running back, which is what I think he's competing for.
- 30:56[SPEAKER_01]: You got a contribute on special team.
- 30:57[SPEAKER_01]: So that might give him an edge over the Tyler biday or Blake Watson.
- 31:01[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, great call.
- 31:03[SPEAKER_00]: Can we make an Alex foresight foresight joke here?
- 31:08[SPEAKER_00]: Sorry guys.
- 31:09[SPEAKER_00]: Thanks to you so much for the super chat Troy.
- 31:11[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, those are the ones.
- 31:12[SPEAKER_00]: So that's one reason that I have such a hard time with Tory Franklin, you know, your fourth wide receiver means place in special teams.
- 31:17[SPEAKER_00]: Do you think there's a chance that Pat Bryant becomes a pretty big special teams contributor?
- 31:21[SPEAKER_00]: I know he's a third round pick and you hope that he's not, you know, that's his main role, but given his
- 31:26[SPEAKER_00]: physical play style, I could see him becoming, I don't know, he's not like a four three absolute blazer, but he's a physical player still and that tends to translate pretty well to your core four.
- 31:38[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, he very well could.
- 31:40[SPEAKER_01]: I just question the opening for it because looking at special teams as a whole, they brought in Sam Franklin.
- 31:45[SPEAKER_01]: at the safety for there, who's, I think it's going to be competing for one of the gunner spots after you lose three months myth, and you're kind of not wanting to use rather than moss as a gunner, which they kind of cut into last year a little bit.
- 31:57[SPEAKER_01]: So at wide receiver, having pulled it up, Josh Reynolds, low-journ-humpry and Devon Valley, they all saw a special team snap.
- 32:05[SPEAKER_01]: It was a total of Tulf snaps between them.
- 32:07[SPEAKER_01]: So, even with, you know, the questions about Troy Franklin at Watter's Silver Four, Watter's Silver Five, I'm not sure how much they want to use that if they don't have that role for it, a role for them.
- 32:19[SPEAKER_01]: Maybe he can show up as that second returner and that's a whole that wrinkle in this is how much is going to change with kick returning because of the new roles.
- 32:27[SPEAKER_01]: You basically need that second kick returner
- 32:29[SPEAKER_01]: how much is that going to impact the overall special teams make up for it?
- 32:34[SPEAKER_01]: Is that where Troy Franklin can step in or Tyler biday or one of these other depth guys?
- 32:39[SPEAKER_01]: And that's why one of the reasons why I have the undrafted for agent wide receivers as some of them with a chance to make this roster is because they could possibly end up that second returner option Marvin Mims.
- 32:51[SPEAKER_01]: So it's tough with wide receivers because it's pretty typical
- 32:56[SPEAKER_01]: that unless you're a gunner and as a wide receiver you don't see a whole lot of special teams reps and I think that's what kind of what they brought Trent sure field in at wide receiver to help replace you know be one of those gunners and maybe a Sam Franklin or one of these other guys so it's just tough if you're not a returner or a gunner where are you playing on special teams as a receiver.
- 33:16[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 33:17[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, no doubt.
- 33:18[SPEAKER_00]: Thank you Troy so much for the super chat really to appreciate you coming in and how are the Broncos gunners?
- 33:23[SPEAKER_00]: Pretty good.
- 33:25[SPEAKER_00]: You know, but you did lose Travon Smith.
- 33:30[SPEAKER_00]: So you're hoping sure if you can replace that betrayal on Smith was a very good gunner.
- 33:34[SPEAKER_00]: So that is one that we're going to have to keep an eye on.
- 33:37[SPEAKER_00]: Moving forward here, Eric, an ex big camp battle.
- 33:39[SPEAKER_00]: It's got to be running back position now.
- 33:42[SPEAKER_00]: You got Tyler biday who flashed all of the season with the sample sizes so small can we take very much from it?
- 33:47[SPEAKER_00]: Jolio McLaughlin McLaughlin.
- 33:50[SPEAKER_00]: I feel like sometimes the name is, missed up McLaughlin.
- 33:54[SPEAKER_00]: Uh, is, I don't know.
- 33:56[SPEAKER_00]: I, I know he works really hard in trying to paint and talk about him before, but like he hasn't shown himself as a wide receiver.
- 34:02[SPEAKER_00]: They don't seem to trust him in past protection.
- 34:04[SPEAKER_00]: And as a runner, he's definitely at the best vision of the guys there last season, but I don't think, I feel like he had the, the twitch or the ability to make a guy miss to the extent where it's like he's a viable player.
- 34:14[SPEAKER_00]: I think he's somebody who,
- 34:16[SPEAKER_00]: probably a practice squad guy on a lot of teams.
- 34:19[SPEAKER_00]: I know he works really hard and everything is just all when I watch him and always leaves me wanting more.
- 34:23[SPEAKER_00]: It's not even like Philip Lindsay level like Philip had like a little bit of like bursts through the hole like all of a sudden he's on the second level.
- 34:30[SPEAKER_00]: And McLaughlin doesn't feel to have that same level of linear explosiveness.
- 34:35[SPEAKER_00]: So there's McLaughlin as well right now with the Harvey arch contract stuff.
- 34:38[SPEAKER_00]: It seems like it's full on JK Dobbins Express at least early on for the Broncos.
- 34:44[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, it's with the running back.
- 34:46[SPEAKER_01]: It's the whole pecking order.
- 34:47[SPEAKER_01]: I still think, I still like Argya Harvey's going to be running back one, even early in the season, just because, you know, Dobbins being a late addition to June edition to the running back room.
- 34:57[SPEAKER_01]: I think he's brought in to kind of raise the floor and stabilize the room a little bit, not be the top guy.
- 35:02[SPEAKER_01]: That's what they got Argya Harvey for, but that's what training camp.
- 35:05[SPEAKER_01]: That's what part of his battle is going to be about is beating out that pecking order.
- 35:09[SPEAKER_01]: How much time does Argya Harvey miss with the contract stuff?
- 35:12[SPEAKER_01]: And then who's running back three?
- 35:13[SPEAKER_01]: Who's running back four?
- 35:14[SPEAKER_01]: I didn't think that to keep for out of the position.
- 35:17[SPEAKER_01]: And we don't know who that's going to be because I think, you know, when you look at the room, I think the only two somewhat safe guys are RJ Harvey, who is one hundred percent safe.
- 35:25[SPEAKER_01]: And J. Gates happened to say it's probably about ninety to ninety five percent safe because his contract being a veteran contract.
- 35:32[SPEAKER_01]: They can cut him before the start of the season and save some money.
- 35:36[SPEAKER_01]: against the salary cap.
- 35:37[SPEAKER_01]: So if these guys do still step up, well, that's still an option for it.
- 35:41[SPEAKER_01]: I still expect him to make it, as I said, raises the floor and stabilizes the room.
- 35:45[SPEAKER_01]: So is it McLaughlin, who is there who I really do think is going to end up as the running back three?
- 35:50[SPEAKER_01]: And I don't fully disagree with you that he's more of a practice quad caliber player.
- 35:54[SPEAKER_01]: He's more running back four practice quad guy.
- 35:56[SPEAKER_01]: It's just the way that the room is made up right now.
- 35:58[SPEAKER_01]: He's the one who makes the most sense because he is the only slash or back type that they have.
- 36:03[SPEAKER_01]: And that's not really our just amazed game who he's got to compete for that for spot Tyler Badez small sample size coming off the back injury.
- 36:12[SPEAKER_01]: who knows what that like Watson ball security is still a major issue with him from what I understand.
- 36:17[SPEAKER_01]: At some moments where the ball went through his hand in OTAs and many came from someone I get where it was made a comment about that on Twitter or on a podcast or article or something like that about like Watson still having some issues holding on to the ball.
- 36:31[SPEAKER_01]: So a lot of questions with the room and it's a room that is lacking talent that unfortunately that's not going to be, I think it's going to be better than last year.
- 36:40[SPEAKER_01]: I think it'd be hard to be worse.
- 36:43[SPEAKER_01]: But I still question how much better is it going to be?
- 36:45[SPEAKER_01]: Is it going to go from bottom line to top ten?
- 36:49[SPEAKER_01]: I doubt it.
- 36:50[SPEAKER_01]: Can we go from bottom of the NFL to fifteen to twenty?
- 36:54[SPEAKER_01]: That's kind of where I think that this broke is one game ends up.
- 36:57[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, and we got Rodney asked him I T Perry.
- 37:00[SPEAKER_00]: I think he's even below the pecking order of the undrafted free agent, why'd receivers at this point?
- 37:05[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 37:06[SPEAKER_00]: Also, well, that's part of the reason why the Yan also heard.
- 37:09[SPEAKER_00]: So I'm more interested in Jokwa Newton walking Davis, Courtney Jackson than AT Perry at this point.
- 37:17[SPEAKER_00]: We got Aaron Davis coming in with all the blue and orange hearts same go.
- 37:21[SPEAKER_00]: Denver, BRO and COS with the space between each one.
- 37:25[SPEAKER_00]: I took some effort to type out.
- 37:26[SPEAKER_00]: Hopefully not as much as it was for me to say it out loud, Aaron.
- 37:30[SPEAKER_00]: So thank you so much.
- 37:31[SPEAKER_00]: If you guys aren't commenting, if you're joining us on Facebook, you do wherever drop the thumbs up.
- 37:34[SPEAKER_00]: We do appreciate that.
- 37:36[SPEAKER_00]: Next up, it doesn't really seem like there's going to be a battle, but I almost wish there was.
- 37:40[SPEAKER_00]: Tight end.
- 37:40[SPEAKER_00]: It feels like each of these guys really does have a roll.
- 37:43[SPEAKER_00]: Now we graded the unit.
- 37:44[SPEAKER_00]: It's like a D minus.
- 37:45[SPEAKER_00]: So I think you gave them an F overall.
- 37:47[SPEAKER_00]: I can I vary a deep D somewhere.
- 37:50[SPEAKER_00]: I couldn't do that with have an ingram added.
- 37:52[SPEAKER_00]: If you add them to the wide receivers, though, probably around an F. I'm really just tight end is become this.
- 38:01[SPEAKER_00]: It's really hard to slot where every single one of these guys goes because the body types and the usage rules of tight ends is changed so much getting kind of back to our linebacker isolating conversation on the other end of it.
- 38:12[SPEAKER_00]: But right now doesn't seem like there's going to be a battle.
- 38:14[SPEAKER_00]: The question is more so how much is
- 38:18[SPEAKER_00]: have an ingram actually deployed in line detached like what do the formations and the usage look like for ingram because that eats into white receiver ability usage and just the offense as a whole.
- 38:31[SPEAKER_00]: So I am very curious to see the usage of have an ingram joker.
- 38:35[SPEAKER_00]: What does that mean exactly for the tight end spot, but not really battle battle per se.
- 38:42[SPEAKER_00]: I guess the battle is crawl versus atkins, but
- 38:46[SPEAKER_00]: Special teams should probably be the deciding factor there.
- 38:50[SPEAKER_01]: I think the battle is cruel versus loner.
- 38:53[SPEAKER_00]: loner.
- 38:54[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, that's I think that's where the battles and the biggest reason for that is because of the special teams atkins brings as well as the blocking.
- 39:02[SPEAKER_01]: Adam Tramman is more of a number to three tight end.
- 39:07[SPEAKER_01]: Um, but he's going to be pushed up to number two.
- 39:09[SPEAKER_01]: Atkins, I think is not shouldn't more of a number four tight end.
- 39:12[SPEAKER_01]: He's going to be pushed up to number three.
- 39:14[SPEAKER_01]: So that battle there for between two guys who are probably best served as practice squad tight ends are competing for the force spot.
- 39:19[SPEAKER_01]: If they even keep for, um, I'd be surprised if they didn't, but that's one of those positions where it's not guaranteed that you keep for like why do receivers pretty typical that you keep six there.
- 39:30[SPEAKER_01]: Um, and, you know, Michael Burton, he plays an aspect in that to more so than
- 39:36[SPEAKER_01]: running back, the full back is more so added in with the tight ends when you're making the fifty-three man rosters.
- 39:43[SPEAKER_01]: But yeah, Evan Ingram, I would expect him to see some time as an inline tight end and obvious passing situations.
- 39:50[SPEAKER_01]: Just trying to create mismatches and using them as a joke or that way moving around the formation a little bit.
- 39:55[SPEAKER_01]: But it is tough because not just because of an ingram has with his lack of blocking ability to be that, you know, for a second down inline tight end or obvious rundown run situation tight end.
- 40:08[SPEAKER_01]: It's tough.
- 40:09[SPEAKER_01]: So I don't think there's a battle here per se outside of that final spot.
- 40:14[SPEAKER_01]: But training camp is going to give us a better idea as to what is coming with this tight end room with their usage where they're going to mind up.
- 40:21[SPEAKER_01]: And you know, somewhat of the pecking water though, I think that dropman and applicants will see a pretty similar snap count in pretty similar situations as they are very similar with what they bring to the offense.
- 40:34[SPEAKER_01]: So it's it's interesting.
- 40:37[SPEAKER_01]: I think that if you're talking about pure training camp battles,
- 40:41[SPEAKER_01]: even though none of them are hopefully none of them to see the field.
- 40:46[SPEAKER_01]: I think backup offensive line is more interesting than the Titan spot just because, but that's because of how much I know I love a trench play and offensive line play.
- 40:57[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, and we want to get to that here.
- 40:59[SPEAKER_00]: We need to wrap up Gatorade Gaming, ask how long I'll take the rookie Titan to develop.
- 41:04[SPEAKER_00]: You're assuming he will develop.
- 41:05[SPEAKER_00]: He's very young and late seventh round pick who knows, but
- 41:11[SPEAKER_00]: I think if he can stick around to reach your three on the roster, there's a chance.
- 41:17[SPEAKER_00]: But right now, I mean, you're talking about, you just, just for example, you know, everybody gets loves their players on the draft fix, but like go back and look at the seventh round over the last five years.
- 41:29[SPEAKER_00]: What does that look like?
- 41:30[SPEAKER_00]: Is there a single Uber?
- 41:32[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, I mean, that is the eight plus return on investment for a seventh round pick.
- 41:39[SPEAKER_00]: So like I just look at the overall sample of seventh round picks dating back five years.
- 41:43[SPEAKER_00]: What do you think?
- 41:44[SPEAKER_00]: Like five percent hit rate did you end up obviously not if that, but it does depends on a scale.
- 41:49[SPEAKER_00]: Even if you make a roster as a seventh round pick, that's a good ROI or a depth player.
- 41:54[SPEAKER_00]: So
- 41:56[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, it's seventh round player.
- 41:57[SPEAKER_00]: It's a shot in the dark.
- 41:58[SPEAKER_00]: It is truly a lottery ticket lower hit rate than undrafted for agent granted that that's due with the overall sample size.
- 42:05[SPEAKER_00]: So maybe not a rate.
- 42:06[SPEAKER_00]: There's more undrafted.
- 42:08[SPEAKER_00]: It's good because a wider pool.
- 42:11[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, it's, we'll see, I think if he sticks around and makes the roster this season over crawl, that's the first hurdle you have to make.
- 42:18[SPEAKER_00]: Can he next year's training camp, we're starting to hear more about him.
- 42:23[SPEAKER_00]: So we will see, we will see, Ryan asks, how's the new puncher doing?
- 42:26[SPEAKER_00]: When do you honest with you, if the special teams coach talks highly about him, so feel good about that, but I'm not a specialist observer in that way, punching does matter.
- 42:35[SPEAKER_00]: I will talk about how I should I value it, but
- 42:38[SPEAKER_00]: Actually, if I leave it in those guys, I don't know.
- 42:39[SPEAKER_00]: I think we probably won't know until we know as the as it goes.
- 42:43[SPEAKER_00]: The book Myster says good morning big dogs.
- 42:45[SPEAKER_00]: Gosh get a guy hyped up.
- 42:47[SPEAKER_00]: Calm big dog.
- 42:48[SPEAKER_00]: I got a big dog up on the trail yesterday as I carried my thirty pound eighteen month old on an eight mile hike for three thousand game.
- 42:54[SPEAKER_00]: Like, oh, big dog.
- 42:55[SPEAKER_00]: It's something like that's right.
- 42:57[SPEAKER_00]: I probably I look like I have a fever because I'm sweating so hard, but we're we're doing it.
- 43:01[SPEAKER_00]: Hope all as well.
- 43:01[SPEAKER_00]: Coaching my sense of tackle football team this year.
- 43:03[SPEAKER_00]: Wish me luck.
- 43:04[SPEAKER_00]: I need it.
- 43:05[SPEAKER_00]: Good luck.
- 43:06[SPEAKER_00]: I don't know how old this group is, but it seems like a lot of fun, but a lot of responsibility too, because he's not just, you know, teaching them the game, but teaching them competition, discipline, et cetera, et cetera, doing it the right way.
- 43:21[SPEAKER_00]: So good luck to you, crafting some young men in this generation.
- 43:26[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, definitely wish you luck on that.
- 43:29[SPEAKER_01]: Not an easy thing to do, just because as Nick said, there's a lot more to it than just the football side of it.
- 43:35[SPEAKER_01]: be, you know, how to be humble and winning and gracious and losing.
- 43:39[SPEAKER_01]: That's a big one.
- 43:41[SPEAKER_01]: And that, you know, in my time, little bit of time coaching, that was all, that was the top thing is to remain humble when you win and, you know, all that.
- 43:53[SPEAKER_01]: So it's one of those things.
- 43:55[SPEAKER_01]: So good luck to you on dealing with that.
- 43:57[SPEAKER_01]: No matter the age, it can be tough to be a coach.
- 44:02[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 44:03[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, no doubt.
- 44:04[SPEAKER_00]: So yeah, remember, it's the safety and those individual kids before the winning.
- 44:09[SPEAKER_00]: Not that I needed to tell you that, but you know, grow that way.
- 44:12[SPEAKER_00]: learning the right way.
- 44:13[SPEAKER_00]: Offensive liners, we got to get to it.
- 44:15[SPEAKER_00]: I hear a problem lens above, so I got to get going here myself with a little guy waking up.
- 44:19[SPEAKER_00]: The offensive line is crazy.
- 44:21[SPEAKER_00]: We know the starters, but after that, I'm curious to see, I know what one of Bonix's favorites to a body guard when he goes anywhere.
- 44:29[SPEAKER_00]: You got Nick Garig-Glio and of course,
- 44:33[SPEAKER_00]: Oh, gosh, his name's escaping me now.
- 44:36[SPEAKER_00]: Frank Crum.
- 44:37[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, are they going to make some moves?
- 44:38[SPEAKER_00]: You paid a lot for trust to come in this season.
- 44:41[SPEAKER_00]: And then, of course, you got Alex Forsyth, who right now appears to be the incumbent for Wattenberg, who they probably walk after this off season, just because the finances of the offensive line.
- 44:50[SPEAKER_00]: But it's possible Clay Webb comes for that spot as well.
- 44:54[SPEAKER_00]: So I'm very intrigued.
- 44:56[SPEAKER_00]: A lot of times back starters go out, blah, blah, blah boring for preseason.
- 45:02[SPEAKER_00]: going to be great in that offensive line tape for the the depth and the athletic talked about like what's the one thing that can destroy this Broncos team this season other than you know, Bonix settling into somewhere mid quarterback defensive regression.
- 45:12[SPEAKER_00]: It's they talked about the offensive line depth and just like having no idea what these guys are and not investing.
- 45:18[SPEAKER_00]: Premium assets on that side.
- 45:20[SPEAKER_00]: It's a little bit of luxury not many teams can do that.
- 45:23[SPEAKER_00]: But the depth of the offensive line intrigues me greatly.
- 45:28[SPEAKER_01]: And as one of the things where we kind of know, at least two of the backup spots, we have a pretty idea of who the backup tackles are going to be.
- 45:34[SPEAKER_01]: Because Sean Peyton, he's one of those guys that he likes to have typically likes to have two backup tackles.
- 45:40[SPEAKER_01]: One primarily for the right, one primarily for the left.
- 45:42[SPEAKER_01]: That's Matt Pierre and Alex Pacheski.
- 45:45[SPEAKER_01]: But inside what's going on there, do they keep two or three opposites on them?
- 45:50[SPEAKER_01]: Do they just go full blown, you know, five backups one for each spot?
- 45:55[SPEAKER_01]: or do they try to find someone, you can be a little bit more versatile.
- 45:58[SPEAKER_01]: David trusts, he has a shot.
- 46:01[SPEAKER_01]: I think he's more of a guard tackle kind of like Alex Peltesky in that retrospect.
- 46:06[SPEAKER_01]: So that might be a little bit difficult for him.
- 46:09[SPEAKER_01]: Frank Crum last year, the Broncos essentially kept five backup tackle or five tackle stotal because Frank Crum made it.
- 46:16[SPEAKER_01]: Can he make it again?
- 46:17[SPEAKER_01]: Can he take over one of those backup spots?
- 46:20[SPEAKER_01]: from Matt Peer or Alex Poucheski, I doubt it, but we'll see.
- 46:25[SPEAKER_01]: And it's one of those things too where you mentioned grinding offensive line tape.
- 46:28[SPEAKER_01]: Frank Crum was terrible last year in the preseason, but he clearly showed enough in practice and in the film room tour.
- 46:34[SPEAKER_01]: They kept him anyways.
- 46:36[SPEAKER_01]: And so it's one of those things where no matter what they do in game, there's still more to the, you know, the equation than we can see.
- 46:43[SPEAKER_01]: We don't have access to all the practice state.
- 46:45[SPEAKER_01]: We don't have access to all the meeting stuff.
- 46:47[SPEAKER_01]: which plays an important factor in it.
- 46:49[SPEAKER_01]: You mentioned Nick Gargulo and can he show his versatility to be a center guard or play both guard spots because the more you can do, the better your opportunity is.
- 47:00[SPEAKER_01]: Can't clear web do that.
- 47:01[SPEAKER_01]: Alex Forsyth Lysher was terrible as a guard made as a center.
- 47:05[SPEAKER_01]: Maybe that's the avenue for unseating Alex Forsyth and showing a little bit more burst tile as a depth piece.
- 47:12[SPEAKER_01]: So there's a lot with this room that I want to see because we haven't gotten to see a whole lot of these depth guys here and on the offensive line and I have I'm very intrigued by some of them.
- 47:23[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 47:24[SPEAKER_00]: It's going to be awesome to follow the backup offensive line.
- 47:27[SPEAKER_00]: And who doesn't does not make it?
- 47:29[SPEAKER_00]: It's just going to be a lot of long-term questions for the Broncos as well.
- 47:34[SPEAKER_00]: I don't know if you have a long-term starter on this unit at offensive tackle, like your plans, post-micamoblenshee, and Gary Bowles, at least ideally.
- 47:42[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, we'll see they do have the body type, like Matt Pert, you know, he's one of the ones that like prototype build Frank Crum.
- 47:49[SPEAKER_00]: You see it more in high school to college, but like,
- 47:52[SPEAKER_00]: The requisite body type and movement skills for a player, but like a mess.
- 47:58[SPEAKER_00]: A lot of times, you don't get guys given the time to do that in the NFL, but they obviously think they have something there potentially in Chrome even if he ends up just being a swing tackle.
- 48:05[SPEAKER_00]: There's some value in that, but he's I mean, he's a massive human being.
- 48:10[SPEAKER_00]: That Frank Crum, what do we have in the list of him here, our leds, six, eight, three, fifteen with beautiful blonde locks.
- 48:17[SPEAKER_00]: Good for you, Frank.
- 48:19[SPEAKER_00]: So yeah, it's going to be interesting to follow.
- 48:20[SPEAKER_00]: I think the real area, though, is can we see somebody here that makes them comfortable enough long-term on the interior?
- 48:27[SPEAKER_00]: Power is might be on the last year of his contract, given how he plays, probably wasn't burning the last year of his contract.
- 48:33[SPEAKER_00]: So you might have to find multiple cheaper options on the offensive line, can those be internal?
- 48:40[SPEAKER_00]: The first, probably the hopefully the most information we get on those guys this year comes from training camp and preseason because we don't see them in the regular season.
- 48:48[SPEAKER_00]: It is seven, twenty four my time eight, twenty four.
- 48:50[SPEAKER_00]: We're going to wrap it up.
- 48:51[SPEAKER_00]: Uh, Congress said he shows us he existed, which was enough to fill the back of the T spot.
- 48:56[SPEAKER_00]: Yep, Tal Chetsky was above him.
- 48:57[SPEAKER_00]: Pair it was above him.
- 48:58[SPEAKER_00]: So right now he's fifth on that and they paid trust a lot.
- 49:00[SPEAKER_00]: So he's on the bubble.
- 49:02[SPEAKER_00]: No doubt.
- 49:03[SPEAKER_00]: Uh, we got Michael Ron Kiosen.
- 49:04[SPEAKER_00]: Great.
- 49:05[SPEAKER_00]: Showed it in Nick and Eric.
- 49:05[SPEAKER_00]: I'm Broncos for breakfast, go Bob.
- 49:06[SPEAKER_00]: Broncos here.
- 49:07[SPEAKER_00]: We talked about every spot Eric besides backup quarterback.
- 49:10[SPEAKER_00]: I don't think there's much to say here.
- 49:13[SPEAKER_00]: You brought back, did him.
- 49:13[SPEAKER_00]: You have Bonix and you paid Sam Ellinger.
- 49:16[SPEAKER_00]: Ellinger is probably not going to beat out, but I guess anything can happen, but students a little bit more of a steady presence and the way they talk about him being involved in that room.
- 49:24[SPEAKER_00]: The real question is, can Ellinger and his assuming he has a partner?
- 49:29[SPEAKER_00]: And deer himself is enough to break into the friend group of the husband and wife friend group that Zach Wilson and his wife have left going to Miami.
- 49:39[SPEAKER_00]: So we're pulling for you Sam, assuming that you are in a relationship.
- 49:45[SPEAKER_00]: I'm hoping that we get some more fun content on that side.
- 49:48[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, and on the football field of it, only thing the question there is, can't he do enough to pour them to keep three quarterbacks?
- 49:57[SPEAKER_01]: I don't think he's shown anything in his NFL career so far, that's worth it.
- 50:00[SPEAKER_01]: So, purchase on him and training camp and free season to do something to say is like, I'm not gonna, you know, we talked, I mentioned it a lot about teams preferin to stick with their own.
- 50:10[SPEAKER_01]: For one to come to the practice club, a quarterback's one of those positions where if you show enough in the free season, another team will likely to, would very likely to get shot on you, can Sam Ellinger make it to where, if you don't keep me on this roster, another team will pick me up.
- 50:24[SPEAKER_01]: That's the only, that's the only conversation there to have in terms of on the football field when it comes to the back-up quarterback's spot.
- 50:31[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, no doubt.
- 50:32[SPEAKER_00]: Well, let's get out of here, guys.
- 50:34[SPEAKER_00]: Um, appreciate everyone coming in.
- 50:35[SPEAKER_00]: The super chats today.
- 50:36[SPEAKER_00]: I know that it's, you know, slow time, but Michael Rankio a couple times.
- 50:40[SPEAKER_00]: I don't know if we got this one great show today.
- 50:42[SPEAKER_00]: Nick and Eric on Broncos for breakfast.
- 50:44[SPEAKER_00]: The book Myster coming into, of course, and Troy with always the very, very generous super chats.
- 50:51[SPEAKER_00]: coming in hanging out.
- 50:52[SPEAKER_00]: And I do have a little news for you guys.
- 50:54[SPEAKER_00]: I don't know what it means for our show and time and everything yet, but hadn't shared on here yet.
- 50:58[SPEAKER_00]: Scott already spilled the beans over on the Falcons show, but I'll be moving to Denver here in these these coming months.
- 51:06[SPEAKER_00]: So I will be heading out that way.
- 51:08[SPEAKER_00]: So I'll definitely be at the meet and greet and got a lot of
- 51:12[SPEAKER_00]: things to finish here up in Seattle before that happens, but I'll be my wife got hired by CU Denver in the Public Health Cancer Registry and we'll be heading that way.
- 51:25[SPEAKER_00]: So it was almost Charleston.
- 51:28[SPEAKER_00]: I don't think I could do the South for multiple reasons, but I need the mountains and Congress says good luck finding a place to afford Nick.
- 51:38[SPEAKER_00]: It is significantly cheaper than Seattle.
- 51:41[SPEAKER_00]: By a lot, by looking at the rental prices, it's like, oh my gosh, this is unbelievably cheaper than what we're having to pay in Seattle for more space and a yard actually.
- 51:51[SPEAKER_00]: So yeah, it's Seattle's crazy expensive in my God.
- 51:56[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, no, it's will be heading that way.
- 51:58[SPEAKER_00]: It's going to be a lot of fun.
- 51:59[SPEAKER_00]: I'm bummed to leave Western Washington because I absolutely love this area, but now a new challenge.
- 52:05[SPEAKER_00]: I still got to climb up, come back up to Seattle and climb all the volcanoes.
- 52:08[SPEAKER_00]: I'm at two of five to six if you include Mount Hood.
- 52:11[SPEAKER_00]: But now I got to climb all the Fort Teeners, Eric.
- 52:13[SPEAKER_00]: So there's fifty eight of them.
- 52:15[SPEAKER_00]: The only Fort Teener I've ever climbed is Mount Whitney in California.
- 52:19[SPEAKER_00]: I tried longs when I was in
- 52:20[SPEAKER_00]: seventh grade.
- 52:21[SPEAKER_00]: And we got to the keyhole.
- 52:22[SPEAKER_00]: A few hundred hikers out there probably know what I'm talking about.
- 52:26[SPEAKER_00]: And there's an area after that.
- 52:28[SPEAKER_00]: I think it's called the Narrows where it's like a
- 52:30[SPEAKER_00]: six to eight inch ledge.
- 52:33[SPEAKER_00]: But we got to the key hole and it was blasting sixty to seventy mile an hour wins and that would have been blasting up against the wall on the the narrows as well.
- 52:40[SPEAKER_00]: So, uh, didn't make it.
- 52:43[SPEAKER_00]: Uh, didn't make it there.
- 52:44[SPEAKER_00]: So, excited for Colorado, bummed to leave Seattle.
- 52:47[SPEAKER_00]: The Western Washington's definitely my favorite place that I've been to so far on earth, uh, but gonna give Denver a chance, probably the next best spot.
- 52:56[SPEAKER_00]: So we're excited for that.
- 52:58[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I'm excited for you guys and I'm excited to for the fact that I now have a ride.
- 53:01[SPEAKER_01]: I don't have to Uber for the meet and greet.
- 53:05[SPEAKER_00]: We'll see.
- 53:06[SPEAKER_00]: The car should take up the room, buddy.
- 53:09[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, that'll be good.
- 53:12[SPEAKER_00]: Unfortunately, probably the meat and ingredients going to line up exactly with when we're moving.
- 53:16[SPEAKER_00]: So my house is getting like, Nick, can you host people?
- 53:18[SPEAKER_00]: Unless they want to sleep on a box.
- 53:23[SPEAKER_00]: But yeah, yeah, you guys can come over if you unpack this room.
- 53:26[SPEAKER_00]: Then you can stay in that room.
- 53:28[SPEAKER_00]: But Nana, it's going to be good.
- 53:31[SPEAKER_00]: And they were excited for this next chapter.
- 53:32[SPEAKER_00]: So
- 53:33[SPEAKER_00]: going to be great.
- 53:34[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, thanks for the ball, which is ahead and announced it in here yet officially, but we're heading that way and excited to explore all the different areas and, like I said, I need to climb all fifty eight of those fourteeners, Eric.
- 53:46[SPEAKER_00]: It's going to happen.
- 53:48[SPEAKER_00]: Don't have as much idea about the backpacking out there, but I just really started to get into the peak bagging out here.
- 53:54[SPEAKER_00]: Not class five.
- 53:55[SPEAKER_00]: I'm not doing the rope up, tread stuff.
- 53:57[SPEAKER_00]: I don't have those skills yet, but we'll see.
- 54:00[SPEAKER_00]: But if you're in Denver and you're
- 54:01[SPEAKER_00]: hiking, mountaineer or anything like that, you know, hit me up.
- 54:06[SPEAKER_00]: I haven't done any like crazy hard trails here this year, but I've been carrying my thirty pound, eighteen-month-old, eight miles, three thousand plus feet every weekend.
- 54:13[SPEAKER_00]: So I'm going to be in some sort of shape.
- 54:15[SPEAKER_00]: I don't know.
- 54:16[SPEAKER_00]: What does that mean?
- 54:16[SPEAKER_00]: I don't know, but I appreciate everyone.
- 54:18[SPEAKER_00]: We'll see you again Wednesday.
- 54:19[SPEAKER_00]: I have a happy Monday, have a good week.
- 54:22[SPEAKER_00]: Choose kind of to compassion.
- 54:23[SPEAKER_00]: Final thoughts, Eric.
- 54:25[SPEAKER_01]: No, everybody has a wonderful start of their week.
- 54:28[SPEAKER_00]: Absolutely.
- 54:29[SPEAKER_00]: Go Broncos.
