- 0:23Speaker 1: Is that champagne? Well, um, we're out of wine glasses
- 0:28Speaker 1: and I wanted to have a little sansair with you today. Um,
- 0:32Speaker 1: so I poured it into a champagne flute. I don't
- 0:34Speaker 1: want you to think I'm drinking champagne. I'm not. Donald. Well,
- 0:38Speaker 1: this is a Scotch glass, and I don't want to
- 0:41Speaker 1: think I'm drinking arm orange juice or something like that.
- 0:45Speaker 1: This is actually Scotch. Yes, I see you, I see you.
- 0:48Speaker 1: How are you? How's it going? The hair is looking good.
- 0:51Speaker 1: The hair is feeling good too. Man, you are looking good.
- 0:54Speaker 1: You're looking all shaggy and everything. Their heads looking all shaggy,
- 0:57Speaker 1: look like Hans Solo in the episode one. There you go? Okay,
- 1:01Speaker 1: Well that didn't take long to get us into that. Well,
- 1:06Speaker 1: not episode episode four, I should say episode four. Save
- 1:09Speaker 1: My hair is long. My hair is long, but I'm
- 1:12Speaker 1: I'm freshly shaved and excited to see you guys. It's
- 1:15Speaker 1: always nice to check in with our with our friend
- 1:18Speaker 1: group here and everyone listening. It's nice. I feel excited
- 1:21Speaker 1: to be talking to all these fine people who are listening.
- 1:23Speaker 1: Someone told me on on one of the social media
- 1:27Speaker 1: that that we've actually helped them lose weight because they
- 1:30Speaker 1: are listening to the podcast as they jog or power
- 1:34Speaker 1: walk whatever they're doing, and that as they go longer,
- 1:37Speaker 1: they they are increasing the distance they're going. And and
- 1:41Speaker 1: they said, like, I wanted to thank you guys because
- 1:43Speaker 1: it gave I read that too, that was that was
- 1:47Speaker 1: pretty cool. It made me feel good. Man. I don't
- 1:48Speaker 1: know about you, but if we're entertaining you while you're
- 1:51Speaker 1: working out right now, that makes me so happy. I
- 1:54Speaker 1: don't know about Daniel and Joel how that makes you
- 1:57Speaker 1: guys feel, But for me, that's like one of those
- 1:59Speaker 1: things like if I can distract you to the point
- 2:02Speaker 1: where you don't feel the pain anymore, Yeah, yeah, you know,
- 2:07Speaker 1: I think it's a great feeling. And if you haven't
- 2:09Speaker 1: done that yet, you know, you can take your dog
- 2:11Speaker 1: on a walk with us. We're willing to go with you.
- 2:14Speaker 1: Take us, take us anywhere you go. You can take
- 2:17Speaker 1: us in the pool if you've got the right headphones.
- 2:20Speaker 1: That's true. Don't electrocute yourself on our behalf. But yeah,
- 2:24Speaker 1: I you know, it's nice. It was in all seriousness.
- 2:26Speaker 1: It was nice to hear that we were sort of
- 2:28Speaker 1: indirectly aspiring someone to to take care of themselves and
- 2:32Speaker 1: and and do some cardio. I felt happy. I felt
- 2:35Speaker 1: happy about that. It made me feel good too. It
- 2:38Speaker 1: was also nice to see the love that she got
- 2:40Speaker 1: on the show last week. Everybody loves say, how do
- 2:43Speaker 1: you not love Shane? And he's just so smart and
- 2:47Speaker 1: humble and kind. And I want to be real friends
- 2:50Speaker 1: with Shay. I would love to when the pandemics over,
- 2:53Speaker 1: I would like to, like, you know, hang out with
- 2:56Speaker 1: Sha maybe go to a restaurant, have a meal. It's
- 3:00Speaker 1: I would be making new guy friends. Um, when you're
- 3:03Speaker 1: when you're our age, right, you just kind of have
- 3:04Speaker 1: your friends. But I feel like Daniel and Joel are
- 3:07Speaker 1: new friends. I didn't mean to specifically say guys, but
- 3:10Speaker 1: I mean, you know, like I run across someone like
- 3:12Speaker 1: Shay and I think, you know, I would be real
- 3:15Speaker 1: friends with this person. But what do you do? You
- 3:17Speaker 1: go on like a mandate, Like, hey, let's let's go
- 3:20Speaker 1: on a mandate and get a drink. Yeah, but I
- 3:24Speaker 1: don't know if I don't know if it has to
- 3:25Speaker 1: be called a mandate, it just could be called a date.
- 3:28Speaker 1: Let's go out, let's go and do something. I know,
- 3:31Speaker 1: but don't you think it's a little weird to be like, hey, man,
- 3:33Speaker 1: do you want to go on a mandate? If you came,
- 3:36Speaker 1: it wouldn't be weird. Then it would be a threesome
- 3:38Speaker 1: mandate and then we're talking, and then we're talking. Yeah,
- 3:42Speaker 1: then she could go down and then it could happen.
- 3:48Speaker 1: I love it. Oh. By the way, I went to
- 3:50Speaker 1: tell you that um Florence's mother m was kind enough
- 3:54Speaker 1: to record her admonishing us for talking about our willie's
- 3:58Speaker 1: and I've sent it to Dan. And any time that
- 4:02Speaker 1: we saunter into talking about our penises too much, uh,
- 4:06Speaker 1: you will hear something like the following, which Dan will
- 4:09Speaker 1: now play of a fox sake to stop talking about
- 4:12Speaker 1: your willies. Well, we got a problem because this episode
- 4:16Speaker 1: we talked there's a lot of there's a lot of
- 4:18Speaker 1: sex in this episode. And usually when you talk about sex,
- 4:22Speaker 1: the first thing you talk about happen from me at
- 4:24Speaker 1: least me is how my Willie feels after or during
- 4:29Speaker 1: or before sex? So is there are a lot of sex?
- 4:31Speaker 1: Isn't this my karma that we watched? Yeah, but there's
- 4:34Speaker 1: a baby being born, Elliot, that's not sexual. A baby
- 4:38Speaker 1: being born is not sexual, Elliott. Elliott and nurse Flowers
- 4:42Speaker 1: do the do finally, and we find out you know what,
- 4:46Speaker 1: how about this stories about show? We made nurses around here?
- 5:03Speaker 1: Around here? You want to just let's get this out
- 5:13Speaker 1: of the way right away. I want to get this okay.
- 5:16Speaker 1: You feel like you feel like you're sort of revd up.
- 5:18Speaker 1: You feel like you. I feel like you. You came,
- 5:20Speaker 1: you came to work today prepared, You got a little
- 5:23Speaker 1: pep in your step, and you're ready to this summary.
- 5:25Speaker 1: I want to do it now. All right, Well, let
- 5:28Speaker 1: daddy get out his timer. Get that time of daddy.
- 5:31Speaker 1: Oh shit, that's the weirdest direction I've ever had, for
- 5:37Speaker 1: fuck's sake. No, enough, that's enough, Sorry, deeb. Sorry, you're ready, Yes,
- 5:45Speaker 1: and go. Karma is a bit, that's it, that is it.
- 5:54Speaker 1: You just didn't do your homework. I did do my homework.
- 5:59Speaker 1: It's just that there's nothing really to this this episode.
- 6:02Speaker 1: I don't know, man, this episode. The only thing that
- 6:04Speaker 1: really is that we talked about in this episode is
- 6:07Speaker 1: how karma is a bit, how it comes around and
- 6:10Speaker 1: bites you in the ass like a dog. Would you
- 6:13Speaker 1: know what I mean? Turk, j d Cox, Jordan and
- 6:17Speaker 1: Kelso all learned this lesson in the episode, you know,
- 6:20Speaker 1: And that's really all there is to it. Even in
- 6:23Speaker 1: the summary at the end of the episode, it's pretty
- 6:26Speaker 1: much that you have something. You know when when I
- 6:28Speaker 1: when I was a child, my father would rate us
- 6:30Speaker 1: how well we'd eaten off our dinner plate, and he'd
- 6:33Speaker 1: go and when he was mad and grumpy, he'd go,
- 6:36Speaker 1: that's an F job. That is an F job. And
- 6:40Speaker 1: I think I want to say to you right now, Donald,
- 6:42Speaker 1: that is an F job. Well, you know what. I
- 6:45Speaker 1: take that, and that's an honor for me because it's
- 6:48Speaker 1: something it's something that your dad used to say to
- 6:53Speaker 1: you guys, and you know how much I love your dad,
- 6:55Speaker 1: So bam. Yesterday was his birthday. Oh man, how are you?
- 7:00Speaker 1: I'm you know, sorry you couldn't. I'm about to say
- 7:03Speaker 1: for those of you don't know, but why would you know?
- 7:04Speaker 1: Although I haven't spoken about my father. My father has
- 7:07Speaker 1: passed away. But of course anyone who's lost a parent,
- 7:11Speaker 1: you sometimes look down at the calendar and go, oh
- 7:14Speaker 1: my god, it's his birthday. And in fact, Mike calendar,
- 7:16Speaker 1: he's still in my ICL thing which puts up a reminder,
- 7:19Speaker 1: and it came up yesterday. It was like, it's Dad's birthday,
- 7:22Speaker 1: and uh, you know, I don't know what to say
- 7:24Speaker 1: other than it stings a little. He would love this.
- 7:27Speaker 1: This would be his favorite thing in the world. My
- 7:29Speaker 1: father was my biggest champion. As you can imagine. He
- 7:33Speaker 1: loved Donald phase On like like like the fourth son
- 7:37Speaker 1: he never had, and um, and he would love this.
- 7:40Speaker 1: He would love He would love more than anything us
- 7:42Speaker 1: sitting around talking about scrubs because he's such He's such
- 7:46Speaker 1: my champion. He loved scrubs more than more than anyone.
- 7:49Speaker 1: Remember that. One of the last times I saw your dad,
- 7:52Speaker 1: we were in Mexico and he I sat down next
- 7:58Speaker 1: to me and said, Okay, tell me everything. I just
- 8:00Speaker 1: want to know, tell me what are you doing? Tell
- 8:01Speaker 1: me everything. He was so my father. You know, some
- 8:04Speaker 1: people were like most people in our lives, I find
- 8:07Speaker 1: just they go, hey, how's it going. They don't really
- 8:09Speaker 1: want a long answer. They just want oh, good, good,
- 8:11Speaker 1: how are you. My father wanted the genuine long answer.
- 8:13Speaker 1: He would he would go okay, Donald, Um, I saw
- 8:17Speaker 1: you a year ago at Zach's birthday. Tell me everything
- 8:21Speaker 1: that's happened since. He would. He would genuinely want so.
- 8:28Speaker 1: He was so genuinely interested in people, you know. I
- 8:31Speaker 1: love that quality about him. He loved you, man. He
- 8:36Speaker 1: loved to come to the set and uh he everything
- 8:39Speaker 1: I ever did, he came to I did the one
- 8:40Speaker 1: I did the Broadway show. He came like eleven times.
- 8:43Speaker 1: He was. I remember when you got nominated for the
- 8:46Speaker 1: Emmy for the first year, and we did that thing
- 8:50Speaker 1: in the bathroom where we were pretending to rob Tony
- 8:54Speaker 1: Shalub of his Emmy and your dad played the bathroom attendant,
- 8:58Speaker 1: and we shot it at Rubs right before you went
- 9:02Speaker 1: to the ceremony, because I guess we knew that the
- 9:06Speaker 1: chances of you winning aren't gonna be big, the chances
- 9:08Speaker 1: of can can't. Are you crazy you think you're gonna
- 9:13Speaker 1: beat Chaloub? It was either him, it was somebody. It
- 9:16Speaker 1: was something like that. We either robbed him or it
- 9:18Speaker 1: was Hugh Laurie or something like that. We and we
- 9:20Speaker 1: took his cane or some ship like that, and then
- 9:23Speaker 1: we ran out of the bathroom. I just remember, I remember,
- 9:26Speaker 1: if anyone out there has that thing, I'm sure it's
- 9:29Speaker 1: on YouTube somewhere. Your dad played the bathroom attendant in
- 9:34Speaker 1: that episode, and I feel like that was one of
- 9:36Speaker 1: the first time. That's why one of my first memories
- 9:38Speaker 1: of your dad. Actually, I put my dad in um
- 9:42Speaker 1: in Garden State and I gave him a long monologue
- 9:44Speaker 1: and he kept messing it up, and I felt so
- 9:47Speaker 1: bad because he was so you know, like my dad
- 9:51Speaker 1: was used to do a community theater um or as
- 9:54Speaker 1: you as they called in England, the amateur dramatics, but
- 9:57Speaker 1: you know he was. He was always the lead in
- 9:59Speaker 1: the local play. Come on in. Oh hi, hey, look
- 10:04Speaker 1: who it is. Do you want to give another cooking
- 10:06Speaker 1: tip to Donald? Yeah, she's gonna pour me some songs
- 10:10Speaker 1: there in my champagne. Everyone doing, everyone, We're good over here.
- 10:18Speaker 1: The pizza came out good as you could see. Did
- 10:21Speaker 1: you like the oil? I love the oil. The problem
- 10:23Speaker 1: was I got to figure out a way to fu
- 10:26Speaker 1: fuse the garlic into the olive oil. And I think
- 10:29Speaker 1: maybe if I cook it. That'll help out well. Also,
- 10:32Speaker 1: what you could do is instead of chopping it, did
- 10:35Speaker 1: you do the greater tip? No? I just I literally
- 10:39Speaker 1: took olive oil and just dropped garlic into it, right
- 10:44Speaker 1: and shook it. No, I get you. So what you're
- 10:47Speaker 1: gonna do is you have obviously one of those big
- 10:49Speaker 1: grates with like all the different levels. So if you
- 10:52Speaker 1: go onto the thin slice rather than the what you
- 10:55Speaker 1: do on parmesan, and you grate the garlic and put
- 10:58Speaker 1: it in the oil and mix it around, it will
- 11:01Speaker 1: start kind of getting all good and juicy pretty much
- 11:04Speaker 1: after ten fifteen minutes. And that lasts actually for a week,
- 11:08Speaker 1: So you could put that on your salads, on your
- 11:11Speaker 1: garlic Broadsta be good with that. This has been another
- 11:15Speaker 1: edition of Glasses Cooking Tipsy Donald another one put some Okay,
- 11:23Speaker 1: so your next pizza, you're gonna get some goats cheese,
- 11:26Speaker 1: the one that's not wet, but it's like in the tube,
- 11:29Speaker 1: like the white tube, and you're gonna do that, and
- 11:32Speaker 1: you're going to do your pesto oil, and then you're
- 11:34Speaker 1: also going to put some palmer Ham on it, and
- 11:36Speaker 1: it will blow your mind. What is palmer Ham that
- 11:39Speaker 1: sounds do. It's like it's like, um, I mean, do
- 11:42Speaker 1: you have ham on like a Spanish cut? Yeah, I'm
- 11:46Speaker 1: sure I can find it. I'm sure I can find it. Yeah.
- 11:50Speaker 1: Like strip that up, put that on your pizza with goats,
- 11:52Speaker 1: cheese and some of your pesto and actually your garlic,
- 11:55Speaker 1: and you'll have all some pizza. I can't wait. Like
- 11:58Speaker 1: I made a Um, I made the sauce myself. Yeah
- 12:02Speaker 1: did you? I don't. Yeah. So what I did was
- 12:05Speaker 1: I took tin tomatoes and I put some garlic into
- 12:09Speaker 1: the tomatoes, and then I blended it all up in
- 12:11Speaker 1: a in a in a blender, and then I poured
- 12:16Speaker 1: it over some heat in a pot and then add
- 12:20Speaker 1: some sugar and some salt and some vinegar, very little sugar,
- 12:25Speaker 1: a lot of salt, a lot of vinegar, and that
- 12:28Speaker 1: ship came out. It was great, guilty, But this was
- 12:34Speaker 1: all from All of this came from watching you that day.
- 12:37Speaker 1: Just like you are a natural yo, I was you
- 12:42Speaker 1: are a natural cookie. I watched it when you do
- 12:45Speaker 1: the Instagram stuff and you're chopping stuff up and you're
- 12:48Speaker 1: about to cook. I watched that stuff too. Flow keep
- 12:51Speaker 1: it coming, please keep it coming. As a matter of fact. Okay,
- 12:55Speaker 1: I'm okay, alright, No, no, no, I was doing it.
- 12:59Speaker 1: You would well, this has been another edition of flows
- 13:03Speaker 1: cooking Tips, all right, See this podcast has something for everyone.
- 13:08Speaker 1: Let's say you don't even like scrubs, Well you just
- 13:10Speaker 1: got some pizza cooking tips. Listen, that's not all she
- 13:14Speaker 1: can cook, though, she can cook so many things. You're
- 13:17Speaker 1: a very lucky, lucky man. I am very lucky. Of course,
- 13:20Speaker 1: it's idiotic. I it makes absolutely no sense. Um, I
- 13:23Speaker 1: get it. Um people who write on the internet, why
- 13:27Speaker 1: the hell is she with him? I get it. I
- 13:28Speaker 1: don't understand it either. We were doing it as your
- 13:37Speaker 1: best friend. You're you're a little bit above your paygrade
- 13:41Speaker 1: right now, dude, I know, I know, well, you don't
- 13:43Speaker 1: have to join the people on the internet supposed to
- 13:45Speaker 1: be the I really, I honestly thought that was gonna
- 13:48Speaker 1: go the other way. Donald was gonna say, you know,
- 13:49Speaker 1: as your best friend, she's lucky to have you too,
- 13:53Speaker 1: and no, no, no, no, no no, And instead he's like,
- 13:55Speaker 1: as your as you as your best friend. Yeah, you're
- 13:58Speaker 1: hitting above your fucking pay grade right now. But you'd
- 14:01Speaker 1: say the same thing to me. Did you say that
- 14:05Speaker 1: it makes it makes absolutely no sense. I get it. Listen.
- 14:08Speaker 1: She was helping with an audition the other day. It
- 14:10Speaker 1: was a voiceover audition, and you didn't listen. That's my joke.
- 14:16Speaker 1: I'm positive that's what's gonna happen because it's an Listen,
- 14:20Speaker 1: it's an animated character. I'm not gonna say anymore because
- 14:22Speaker 1: it's super top secret, but it's I I love doing
- 14:25Speaker 1: animated voices, and it was it's for a huge thing,
- 14:28Speaker 1: and I'm like, hey, I need you to read with me,
- 14:30Speaker 1: and she's like, all right, but telling about like my character.
- 14:32Speaker 1: I'm like, don't, don't worry about your character. You're you're
- 14:34Speaker 1: off camera. You just I mean, it wasn't being filmed.
- 14:37Speaker 1: It was just audio. So it was like Normally, if
- 14:39Speaker 1: if you're doing it for those you don't know, if
- 14:40Speaker 1: an actor is doing a video edition, your friend who's reading,
- 14:43Speaker 1: we used behind the camera you never even see them.
- 14:45Speaker 1: But with an audio edition, it was like we were
- 14:46Speaker 1: kind of on the same playing field. So I was like,
- 14:49Speaker 1: you know, trying to say in so many words like
- 14:51Speaker 1: don't like upstage me with your fucking great acting. I
- 14:55Speaker 1: this audition is about me. Okay, your character can't be like, great, right,
- 15:00Speaker 1: so she starts swearing so like, so she starts getting
- 15:02Speaker 1: into character, and a little, by a little, I'm like,
- 15:05Speaker 1: she's gonna get that. They're gonna be like, who was
- 15:09Speaker 1: reading with him? Because that was fine? I mean, Zach
- 15:11Speaker 1: was fine, but whoever was reading when it was amazing?
- 15:14Speaker 1: I think we all went out for a shame part.
- 15:17Speaker 1: Did you audition? Yes? That was that. You auditioned for
- 15:20Speaker 1: that too? Yeah? Who didn't? Man? That is everywhere? All right? Well,
- 15:25Speaker 1: I thought that I was one of the Well I
- 15:28Speaker 1: understand why you you You should definitely read for that part.
- 15:31Speaker 1: We can't give away too many specifics, but I could
- 15:34Speaker 1: actually even imagine you being way better at it than
- 15:36Speaker 1: me because of certain specific well because of certain specific
- 15:41Speaker 1: aspects of the character that you would do. Well, dude,
- 15:44Speaker 1: you are perfect for it. And and look, well look
- 15:47Speaker 1: we're both because we both love well you beat that Dan.
- 15:51Speaker 1: We're both blank fans. We're both dude. I'm not trying
- 15:59Speaker 1: to I'm not trying to bring an NDA before I
- 16:01Speaker 1: even get a part anyway, Donald, I just want you
- 16:08Speaker 1: to know that you know the audition, now, you know
- 16:10Speaker 1: the scene and flow is reading the other part in
- 16:13Speaker 1: the scene, and I'm sitting here as a director being like,
- 16:16Speaker 1: oh fun, she's good at this, and I'm like, everyone's
- 16:18Speaker 1: getting listen to this asking about her. Dude, I totally
- 16:23Speaker 1: get it, all right, should be getting the episode, donal,
- 16:25Speaker 1: Let's get the episode. These people came in for a
- 16:27Speaker 1: Scrubs podcast. They didn't they're getting Pizza podcast for free,
- 16:30Speaker 1: They're getting Star Wars podcast for free, but they tuned
- 16:33Speaker 1: in for a Scrubs podcast. Donald, Okay, well, then let's
- 16:37Speaker 1: start it off. Dude. I thought it was very funny
- 16:40Speaker 1: that Nurse Roberts is at the diner with us. And
- 16:42Speaker 1: I'm laughing at that too, that Roberts has never socialized
- 16:46Speaker 1: with us. Why is she there? Because she's best friends
- 16:50Speaker 1: she's best friends with Carla, But no, because I said
- 16:53Speaker 1: i'd buy No. I know, but that's what you said.
- 16:56Speaker 1: You said, hey, it's on me, it's my treat. And
- 17:00Speaker 1: then you're piste off at her, and she's like, you
- 17:02Speaker 1: said it was my treat. You didn't say it's my
- 17:04Speaker 1: treat except for the lobster. Yeah, and I go, and
- 17:08Speaker 1: I go, I said, no shellfish. Why? First of all,
- 17:12Speaker 1: why is Nurse Roberts ordering? Who the funk? Orders lobster
- 17:16Speaker 1: at a diner was like nurse Nurse Roberts was like,
- 17:24Speaker 1: free food, I'll have the lobster. But Nurse Roberts read
- 17:27Speaker 1: a diner that's fine. Lobster please, lobster please. You go
- 17:33Speaker 1: to a diner, you get a burger, you get the
- 17:35Speaker 1: freaking pancakes, you get the French toast, you get the
- 17:38Speaker 1: eggs and bacon. Those are you can't go wrong. But
- 17:40Speaker 1: when you start ordering like the shepherd's pie and stuff
- 17:44Speaker 1: like that, just know that it wasn't made that day.
- 17:50Speaker 1: You know, when you go to a diner or someplace
- 17:51Speaker 1: that has like a menu that's like ten pages long,
- 17:54Speaker 1: and you're like, how the fund do they make all
- 17:56Speaker 1: this stuff? Like Cheesecake Factory is one of those places.
- 17:59Speaker 1: It's a novel. The menu is a is a light novel,
- 18:02Speaker 1: a novella, and you're like, how could they possibly make
- 18:06Speaker 1: all this stuff? And then there's always that person that
- 18:08Speaker 1: like orders like the fish, and you're like, I wouldn't
- 18:11Speaker 1: be oh, I'm starting the scallop set. I hop right
- 18:18Speaker 1: cheese cakes alright? Now. First of all, first of all,
- 18:33Speaker 1: not only is Nurse Robert's there because she was gonna
- 18:34Speaker 1: get free food. But I'm sitting there with the woman
- 18:38Speaker 1: I love is macking with her new boyfriend, and I
- 18:42Speaker 1: wanted to ask you, do you think you could ever
- 18:44Speaker 1: be out with your girlfriend's new ex girlfriend's new boyfriend.
- 18:47Speaker 1: They're like, who does that? Dude, I've been very lucky
- 18:50Speaker 1: in my life for that to never happen to me.
- 18:53Speaker 1: I saw it happen to a buddy of mine and
- 18:55Speaker 1: that ship, and I saw how it sucked him up.
- 18:57Speaker 1: I don't want to say his name, but you were
- 18:59Speaker 1: there too, and we were out and somebody was out
- 19:04Speaker 1: with us and his ex girlfriend was there, and we
- 19:08Speaker 1: were like, let's bring her over, and he was like please, no, no, no, no, no,
- 19:11Speaker 1: don't you dare do it? He he knows who it is.
- 19:15Speaker 1: But I've been lucky, Like you've gone out and run
- 19:17Speaker 1: into ex girlfriends of mine with their new boyfriends. Yeah,
- 19:21Speaker 1: that's always that's always so awkward when it's like, hey you,
- 19:26Speaker 1: hey you. But I mean, I've never I would never
- 19:31Speaker 1: do what j D does in this. He allows himself
- 19:34Speaker 1: to go sit at a dine or booth with the
- 19:37Speaker 1: woman he still clearly has feelings for and her new guy,
- 19:42Speaker 1: and they're like making out at the dining roof that
- 19:44Speaker 1: sounds like fucking hell yeah. And then he bests j
- 19:47Speaker 1: D also in the freaking in the gets a beautiful
- 19:50Speaker 1: post and j and j D wipes a tear away.
- 19:54Speaker 1: Your father would say, yeah right, your father would have
- 19:57Speaker 1: said to yours, that's an f that's yeah, f job job.
- 20:03Speaker 1: But I was speaking my father. He was very into
- 20:04Speaker 1: public displays of not affection in terms of physical affection,
- 20:09Speaker 1: in terms of going around the table and all saying
- 20:12Speaker 1: something nice, like if it was someone's birthday, let's all
- 20:14Speaker 1: go around and and say what we love about Donald
- 20:17Speaker 1: and and some people are like really shy when that happens.
- 20:20Speaker 1: They're like, oh no, and I and but my father
- 20:22Speaker 1: loved like, well I'll start um and you know, I
- 20:25Speaker 1: just loved going around the table all saying you know,
- 20:28Speaker 1: things about people and uh so yeah, And this scene,
- 20:31Speaker 1: j d uh is so mad that that that that
- 20:35Speaker 1: Ricky Schroeder's there, and he says something like I'm gonna
- 20:38Speaker 1: say something that only people that know Turk and Carla
- 20:41Speaker 1: for a long time would really understand. But you guys, rock,
- 20:46Speaker 1: you do you do? And that's the extent of the speech.
- 20:52Speaker 1: And then and then he gets up he gets nurse
- 20:55Speaker 1: Nurse Flowers gets up and gives like a beautiful speech,
- 20:57Speaker 1: and I just love how I like, sir omptitiously swipe
- 21:01Speaker 1: a tear and then I go lame and then and
- 21:09Speaker 1: then I go and then I go lay man, I
- 21:10Speaker 1: go this guy like like what an asshole? Great? I
- 21:16Speaker 1: know he's really good Ricky, Yeah, dude, he's freaking rick Schroeder. Dude.
- 21:21Speaker 1: I mean, come on, let's talk about golf, Donald, because
- 21:24Speaker 1: at two fourteen you have quite a golf swing on
- 21:27Speaker 1: the roof of the hospital. And this was before you
- 21:29Speaker 1: had an interest in golf. Yeah, I downing is actually
- 21:34Speaker 1: pretty No, my golf swing is pretty shitty in this
- 21:38Speaker 1: uh episode. It's bad. Uh and yours is too. But
- 21:44Speaker 1: you know, UH tell me to take you tell me
- 21:47Speaker 1: to take a running start, as you say, I wrote
- 21:50Speaker 1: it down. You said a lot of the better pros
- 21:52Speaker 1: take a running start. This is all I think. This
- 21:56Speaker 1: is all from Happy Gilmore. I think all of the
- 22:00Speaker 1: dialogue at this is from Happy Gilmore. And I'm doing
- 22:04Speaker 1: the uh Carl Weathers uh dialogue from that movie when
- 22:09Speaker 1: he's so Carl Weathers in Happy Gilmore is I never
- 22:13Speaker 1: saw Happy Gilmore it's a movie. It's a golf movie
- 22:16Speaker 1: about a guy who's down looked, really upset by that.
- 22:20Speaker 1: It's such as funny, it's a good, it's such a good.
- 22:23Speaker 1: It's look, dude, apataw, it's apataw. And Adam Sandler. So
- 22:29Speaker 1: a lot of people don't know this. I know this
- 22:31Speaker 1: just by luck, just by luck. But Judd and Adam
- 22:36Speaker 1: are best friends from like college or some ship like that.
- 22:40Speaker 1: And when Adam was coming up, he would be like, dude,
- 22:43Speaker 1: check out my stuff. And he'd be like, Oh, let
- 22:45Speaker 1: me fix this for you or let me help you
- 22:47Speaker 1: out here, like he does with all of his all
- 22:49Speaker 1: of his protege. He does that with Seth, he does
- 22:51Speaker 1: it with Jason, he does it with all of them,
- 22:54Speaker 1: you know what I mean. That's his He's one of
- 22:55Speaker 1: those cats that you go to that kind of helps
- 22:57Speaker 1: you along the way. And Adam's people, he's a he's
- 23:01Speaker 1: a great mentor. And Adam and Judd have a relationship
- 23:06Speaker 1: that spans all the way back from when Adam was
- 23:09Speaker 1: on MTV. From what I understand now, this is all
- 23:12Speaker 1: somebody telling me this story. And so when Adams making
- 23:15Speaker 1: all these movies back in the day, he would bounce
- 23:17Speaker 1: all of his ideas off of his best friend, Judd Apata.
- 23:21Speaker 1: If I'm wrong, If I'm wrong, Judd Adam, please feel
- 23:24Speaker 1: free to call into fake Doctor's real friends and put
- 23:26Speaker 1: me in my place. We could, we we would love it. Listen,
- 23:30Speaker 1: you've said it, and you've said it on the internet now,
- 23:33Speaker 1: so I think that makes it true. There it is. Um,
- 23:39Speaker 1: I'm looking it up right now. At all plays they
- 23:41Speaker 1: moved in, they were old roommates. Wow, you were not
- 23:46Speaker 1: into golf at all. And in fact, you say in
- 23:49Speaker 1: this episode like, damn it you, damn you Tiger Woods.
- 23:53Speaker 1: Why did I have to get into golf? Um, but
- 23:55Speaker 1: we have clubs and everything, Like, we have the gear.
- 23:58Speaker 1: Why are we so bad? That's that's golf. That's how
- 24:02Speaker 1: it is. That literally is how it is. Your first
- 24:06Speaker 1: I mean, unless you you have to invest in yourself
- 24:09Speaker 1: and in golf to get really good at it. There's
- 24:13Speaker 1: no way that you can come into golf and just
- 24:14Speaker 1: be a really good player. That you know. It took
- 24:17Speaker 1: me a year to break a hundred, And after I
- 24:20Speaker 1: broke a hundred, people were like, you're now in the
- 24:22Speaker 1: ten percentile of golf players. And then from breaking a
- 24:27Speaker 1: hundred to breaking ninety to breaking eighty, to all of
- 24:31Speaker 1: these things. It just gets smaller and smaller. There are
- 24:34Speaker 1: very few people that are scratched golfers in the world.
- 24:37Speaker 1: What are you hitting these days? So my handicap right
- 24:41Speaker 1: now is uh seven point nine. It was at one
- 24:45Speaker 1: point I got it all the way down to six
- 24:46Speaker 1: point six, which was really cool. How are you on
- 24:50Speaker 1: on on? When they put sort of the obstacle things
- 24:53Speaker 1: like if there's a windmill or a loop de loop,
- 24:55Speaker 1: are you good at those? I don't ever play that
- 24:57Speaker 1: stuff anymore. When I was a kid, that was a
- 24:59Speaker 1: great or to date, but I don't never go So
- 25:01Speaker 1: you're saying what you're telling me here, and this is
- 25:03Speaker 1: probably a lot of this is new information for a
- 25:05Speaker 1: lot of people listening, is that when you get into
- 25:07Speaker 1: the bigger golf courses, there are no loop de loops
- 25:10Speaker 1: or windmills. No, there are no there are they are
- 25:14Speaker 1: no longer. Loop sounds considerably less fun. Ye, yes, I
- 25:19Speaker 1: mean I used to love it when my when my
- 25:21Speaker 1: when my ball would go in the hole and then
- 25:23Speaker 1: you'd go into the tube and he'd be like, where
- 25:25Speaker 1: is it gonna come out? Oh ship, where's the tube
- 25:27Speaker 1: go and he'd be running down a look where the
- 25:29Speaker 1: tube came out. And then are you telling me you're
- 25:32Speaker 1: removing the most fun element of golf from the game.
- 25:36Speaker 1: There's no secret tubes, you know in the last hole
- 25:39Speaker 1: in mini golf when you get like a free game
- 25:41Speaker 1: if you get it in the right hole. I once
- 25:44Speaker 1: did that. Yeah, and it was three bells went off.
- 25:50Speaker 1: Did you keep score? Yeah? I don't remember what I got,
- 25:54Speaker 1: but it was probably a seven point nine. I think
- 25:56Speaker 1: it's actually actually I am recalling it was a seven
- 26:00Speaker 1: point five by the way. You know, it would be
- 26:04Speaker 1: a good product. First to invent would be a full
- 26:07Speaker 1: um huggable plastic suit that you can put on to
- 26:11Speaker 1: hug people during COVID. It's like the michelin Man outfit.
- 26:16Speaker 1: It's got like inflatable aspects. It's like it's like Marty
- 26:19Speaker 1: McFly and Doc Brown and back to the future when
- 26:22Speaker 1: they got the freaking nuclear uh, the hazmat suits on.
- 26:28Speaker 1: We should make thank doctor Real friends Hug had Matt
- 26:32Speaker 1: hazmat suits for all of the populace. And then a
- 26:35Speaker 1: little disclaimer that's like, we're not responsible if you get
- 26:38Speaker 1: COVID from using this thing, and hugging people. Do you
- 26:41Speaker 1: remember when um, do you remember when Dan came over
- 26:43Speaker 1: to drop off the Funko pop and he was has
- 26:46Speaker 1: matted out. Yeah, yeah, that's what we're gonna wear. Dan.
- 26:50Speaker 1: I said it before and I'll say it again. Dan's
- 26:51Speaker 1: a lot bigger than I thought he was. I thought
- 26:53Speaker 1: Dan was gonna be like five to Yeah, he's like six.
- 26:58Speaker 1: He's like six one. Well, you've only seen You've only
- 27:02Speaker 1: seen Dan sitting d Dan looked like he could suck
- 27:07Speaker 1: somebody up. Dan looked like he could suck somebody up.
- 27:14Speaker 1: When I saw him, I was like, oh Dad, oh ship,
- 27:20Speaker 1: I'm honored by that. Should we take a break? What
- 27:23Speaker 1: are we doing? Take a break? Let's get back into it.
- 27:37Speaker 1: One of the Bill's favorite lines he always quoted was
- 27:39Speaker 1: do not say splotchy, good spot, doctor splotchy. When Ken
- 27:45Speaker 1: comes in with his base all burnt. Yeah, I thought
- 27:49Speaker 1: he was amazing in this episode. That is this is
- 27:53Speaker 1: a perfect example of a storyline in an episode that's
- 27:57Speaker 1: the It's like the d storyline in the episode, and
- 28:00Speaker 1: it's so funny that you're you laugh at it the
- 28:04Speaker 1: whole way through. From the beginning where he's talking about
- 28:07Speaker 1: how the coffee sucks in the hospital and he has
- 28:10Speaker 1: to go to the freaking uh coffee Bucks across the
- 28:13Speaker 1: street to get it too. It's spilling on his face
- 28:17Speaker 1: to hide Doctor Spock splotchy, that line all the way
- 28:21Speaker 1: to the ship, that fucking Johnny says to him, dark
- 28:24Speaker 1: roast and sucking, Like all of those things. This was
- 28:28Speaker 1: one of the funny I remember this storyline from when
- 28:31Speaker 1: we recorded it, when from when we shot it back
- 28:33Speaker 1: in the day, And I always thought, if you're ever
- 28:36Speaker 1: on a show and you have the opportunity to have
- 28:39Speaker 1: something this funny and that least amount of work, like
- 28:43Speaker 1: you know what I mean. Ken had to work maybe
- 28:44Speaker 1: two days the whole episode. But his storyline is so
- 28:48Speaker 1: funny and so good that it's memorable. It's it's you know,
- 28:52Speaker 1: it's a wind dude, Yeah and everything. It's one of
- 28:54Speaker 1: those things where it was the gift that kept on giving.
- 28:56Speaker 1: Every time he showed up, there'd be another funny joke
- 29:00Speaker 1: on it. Yeah, and what about this my my, how
- 29:04Speaker 1: about my Seinfeld impersonation Regan? What's the deal with Q tips?
- 29:07Speaker 1: They're not cues and they're not tips? I know, I know,
- 29:12Speaker 1: it's meant I know it's meant to be a horrible joke,
- 29:14Speaker 1: But why couldn't the writers have come up with like
- 29:16Speaker 1: an actual joke? Like this is just like nothing, Like
- 29:21Speaker 1: you can you know, you can come up with a
- 29:24Speaker 1: I'm confused. Are you trying to tell me that Seinfeld
- 29:27Speaker 1: isn't funny? No? I love Seinfeld. I'm saying that this
- 29:31Speaker 1: joke that's a fake Seinfeld joke doesn't even make any sense.
- 29:37Speaker 1: What's the deal with two tips? They're not cues and
- 29:39Speaker 1: they're not tips. There are great Seinfeld one liners, like
- 29:42Speaker 1: one of my favorites, if the black is the only
- 29:45Speaker 1: thing that survives the plane crash, why don't I make
- 29:47Speaker 1: the whole plane out of the black box? It's great,
- 29:51Speaker 1: great fucking joke. Dude. He has some of the best
- 29:56Speaker 1: jokes that are you know, It's like he took the
- 30:01Speaker 1: simplicity of what it means to tell a joke and
- 30:05Speaker 1: he does it so well. He's one of the In
- 30:08Speaker 1: my opinion, I love Jerry Seinfeld. I think he's one
- 30:10Speaker 1: of the best comedians out there. You know, I'm just
- 30:14Speaker 1: saying I didn't know why they just didn't come up
- 30:15Speaker 1: with a real joke. I guess it's not funny and
- 30:20Speaker 1: then to the patient going dudes right. I love I
- 30:25Speaker 1: love Jerry Seinfeld. I think he's amazing. I think Jerry
- 30:27Speaker 1: sein felt like uh. When I was a kid, Bill
- 30:30Speaker 1: Cosby himself was one of the dopest uh uh stand
- 30:35Speaker 1: up jump things that I had ever seen, and my
- 30:38Speaker 1: parents would let me watch it because Bill Cosby didn't
- 30:40Speaker 1: curse right. And I feel like Jerry Seinfel is one
- 30:44Speaker 1: of those people that I could put Mike, you want
- 30:47Speaker 1: to know how do you want to learn the the
- 30:49Speaker 1: algorithm of how to tell a joke and how to
- 30:51Speaker 1: make it funny? I would play that documentary that he
- 30:55Speaker 1: had back in a day What was a comedian? Was that?
- 30:57Speaker 1: What it was called where he Arts Off Doing. It's
- 31:01Speaker 1: the anatomy of how he builds a set and it's
- 31:05Speaker 1: one of the greatest uh that one was. That's when
- 31:08Speaker 1: he like went back and like said, I'm gonna do
- 31:11Speaker 1: all new material. Yeah, I'm gonna start. They did it.
- 31:14Speaker 1: They did a documentary that followed him and other comics,
- 31:17Speaker 1: but um and Chris Rocks in it. Like a bunch
- 31:20Speaker 1: of lot of comics will always use some of their
- 31:22Speaker 1: go to jokes forever. Whereas he was like, no, I'm
- 31:26Speaker 1: gonna throw out everything I've ever done and I'm gonna
- 31:27Speaker 1: start from scratch, which was was was pretty cool. I
- 31:30Speaker 1: was documentary. It's such a yeah, such a great storyteller.
- 31:35Speaker 1: He is. And I took offense just now when you
- 31:38Speaker 1: said they were trying to make a bad joke, like
- 31:41Speaker 1: as if Seinfeldt told bad jokes. He tells great jokes. Okay, well,
- 31:46Speaker 1: I hope I didn't offend you, um Donald's um when
- 31:49Speaker 1: I know I took it. I'm telling you right now,
- 31:51Speaker 1: I took offense. I took offense for him, for this
- 31:55Speaker 1: New York native, for the dude whose show is based
- 31:58Speaker 1: on the building I up in. I took offence. Okay,
- 32:03Speaker 1: do you watch um Cars and Coffee with Comedians. I
- 32:07Speaker 1: don't watch any of his work. I just took offense.
- 32:09Speaker 1: I'm just saying, oh my god. I would like the
- 32:12Speaker 1: record to reflect that Donald has never seen an episode
- 32:14Speaker 1: of Seinfeld. He's never seen an episode of Drinking Coffee
- 32:18Speaker 1: with the Comedians and Cars I have. I have seen
- 32:22Speaker 1: episodes of Seinfeld. I have seen several episodes of Seinfeld.
- 32:26Speaker 1: I told someone the other night that you had only
- 32:28Speaker 1: seen the finale of of Breaking Breaking Bad, and they
- 32:33Speaker 1: were like they had to like sit down. They were
- 32:35Speaker 1: so upset by this. They were like, who would do that?
- 32:40Speaker 1: I did? I did. My wife was like, my wife
- 32:44Speaker 1: binge the whole ship. She binged all of it, and
- 32:47Speaker 1: I wouldn't watch any of She was like, you gotta
- 32:49Speaker 1: watch this show. It's so good. And she was doing
- 32:52Speaker 1: it so she could be on time for the finale
- 32:55Speaker 1: for the last season. So she watched everything within like
- 32:59Speaker 1: with like a six month span, she watched every episode
- 33:03Speaker 1: of Breaking Bad just so she could watch the last season. Right.
- 33:07Speaker 1: I didn't watch any of it. I didn't watch any
- 33:09Speaker 1: of it. I would walk into the room and I
- 33:11Speaker 1: would see and I'd be like, that's overacting. Oh my god,
- 33:13Speaker 1: he's overacting, and I would clown. I would clown certain
- 33:19Speaker 1: spots knowing that. Look, when you watch a show, and
- 33:22Speaker 1: in its entirety, there's a reason why certain things are done.
- 33:26Speaker 1: But when you just see a little specific, you know,
- 33:29Speaker 1: moments in it, you're you're lost one and two. You
- 33:34Speaker 1: don't get that, you don't get what's going on, and
- 33:36Speaker 1: so therefore you're very judgmental. That last That being said,
- 33:41Speaker 1: that last episode is one of the best things I've
- 33:45Speaker 1: ever seen on television, and I've never watched one episode
- 33:48Speaker 1: of Breaking Bad in my life. Disconnect the disconnect I
- 33:52Speaker 1: have in my brain. And I'm sure every person who
- 33:54Speaker 1: has at least one ear listening to this is thinking,
- 33:58Speaker 1: then why would you not go back and watched the
- 34:01Speaker 1: show many people think is one of the greatest of
- 34:03Speaker 1: our lifetime because I saw it in I know how
- 34:07Speaker 1: it ends. It's a waste of time. Oh my god,
- 34:10Speaker 1: all right, listen, I watched the finale of Breaking Bad
- 34:15Speaker 1: at Kate Hudson's house. She had a suare where they
- 34:21Speaker 1: were going to do a viewing party of the last episode. Now,
- 34:25Speaker 1: in hindsight, I don't know why I went to this.
- 34:26Speaker 1: If you love the show, you kind of want to
- 34:28Speaker 1: be like on your couch focusing. But I thought it
- 34:32Speaker 1: sounded fun. Now, you know the guy who plays uh
- 34:35Speaker 1: o'donald won't know, but you guys know the guy who
- 34:37Speaker 1: played um Hank, the bald cop. Right, wasn't his name Hank?
- 34:45Speaker 1: What's that actor's name? Anyway? The point is Dean something,
- 34:51Speaker 1: Dean Norris. All right, So Dean Norris is a wonderful actor.
- 34:55Speaker 1: With his head shaved, he looks a lot like Bruce Willis.
- 35:00Speaker 1: If you've ever seen them next to each other, they
- 35:02Speaker 1: could easily be brothers. So um, I get to Kate
- 35:08Speaker 1: Hudson's house and they've got TVs set up. You know,
- 35:11Speaker 1: it's a party. There's there's multiple places within her house
- 35:14Speaker 1: to watch the show. I want to pick a good location,
- 35:17Speaker 1: so I find a good spot and I look over
- 35:22Speaker 1: and then seated on the couch next to me is
- 35:26Speaker 1: Dean Norris And sitting next to Dean Norris is Bruce Willis.
- 35:34Speaker 1: And there's not much more to the story other than
- 35:38Speaker 1: that was really weird because they didn't know each other.
- 35:42Speaker 1: It was clearly didn't know each other, and they had
- 35:44Speaker 1: just met. It was clear that they really really look
- 35:47Speaker 1: a lot alike. And then there we were watching this
- 35:51Speaker 1: elaborate finale with Dean Norris sitting right there. It was
- 35:54Speaker 1: very trippy. I wish the story had more of a
- 35:57Speaker 1: flourish ending. And then I wrestled them both to the
- 36:00Speaker 1: ground and tickled them. Huh. Kate throws some dope parties, man.
- 36:06Speaker 1: I've I've been to two parties at Kate Hudson's house
- 36:09Speaker 1: thanks to you, and both times I was like, holy shit.
- 36:14Speaker 1: Leo's here best party of my life. It's funny that
- 36:20Speaker 1: you would bring up, of all actors, um, Leo, I
- 36:23Speaker 1: I wonder, are you surprised. I'm just wonder of all
- 36:27Speaker 1: actors that are in the same actor's guild, you decided
- 36:30Speaker 1: to bring up one the actor specifically. Well, you know,
- 36:35Speaker 1: I I love Leonardo DiCaprio. It's just how it goes.
- 36:39Speaker 1: He's one of the He's my favorite actor of my generation.
- 36:44Speaker 1: You know, a lot of the fans are clamoring for
- 36:46Speaker 1: merch that says I dock with Leo, and I think
- 36:50Speaker 1: that's a great Now, we gotta get I gotta I'll
- 36:53Speaker 1: call him and I'll if I could, I would call
- 36:55Speaker 1: him and I'd get him to sign off on it.
- 36:57Speaker 1: I know a lot of people. Look, we used to
- 36:59Speaker 1: be friends. We're not. We don't talk much anymore unless
- 37:02Speaker 1: we see each other. But I would hit him up
- 37:04Speaker 1: if I could, and say, Leo, I want to put
- 37:07Speaker 1: out a shirt or some merch that says a mug
- 37:11Speaker 1: that says I would dock Leo. I'd I'd wear a
- 37:15Speaker 1: tank top that says I do Leo. For fox sake.
- 37:22Speaker 1: To stop talking about your willis alright, sorry, Jeff, alright,
- 37:27Speaker 1: let's let's let's get back to the show. Who knew
- 37:30Speaker 1: that Carla was scared of toilet snakes? Yes, Carla is
- 37:35Speaker 1: afraid of a snake crawling out of the toilet. Have
- 37:38Speaker 1: you seen the video of the dude who went to
- 37:42Speaker 1: the bathroom and had to jump off the toilet because
- 37:44Speaker 1: there was a snake coming out of it? No, you
- 37:48Speaker 1: haven't seen this somewhere in Florida, of course, of course,
- 37:53Speaker 1: of course there is a man who was sitting on
- 37:57Speaker 1: the toilet and he jumped off the toilet because there
- 38:00Speaker 1: is a snake literally coming out of the toilet, which
- 38:05Speaker 1: means it's like a water moccasin or some ship like
- 38:09Speaker 1: that that could really fucking do damn because or I mean,
- 38:13Speaker 1: I don't know any other serpents that fucking swim like
- 38:17Speaker 1: I guess, Ah, there's a anaconda. Anaconda swims, but it
- 38:22Speaker 1: didn't look like an anaconda. You're saying. It came out
- 38:24Speaker 1: of the toilet, up up the sewage, and it's coming
- 38:29Speaker 1: out of this dude's toilet. Look it up, Look it up,
- 38:33Speaker 1: I will I mean a little tickle, if it was
- 38:35Speaker 1: just a little like a little tongue lick, it might
- 38:37Speaker 1: feel nice, doesn't like a tongue like, but I'm thinking
- 38:45Speaker 1: it's some type of poisonous serpent or some sh it
- 38:47Speaker 1: like that that will bite um, that will bite you.
- 38:50Speaker 1: How about Elliott calling herself four date read, which means
- 38:53Speaker 1: she waits until the fourth date to have sex with everyone.
- 38:59Speaker 1: Elliott admitting the act that she's crazy, She says to Carla, Carla,
- 39:03Speaker 1: you know that I'm crazy, right, and she goes, yeah,
- 39:05Speaker 1: she goes, I'm having a hard time hiding it from
- 39:08Speaker 1: Nurse Flowers. Yeah. Well, later in the episode, she has
- 39:12Speaker 1: a really funny monologue that she just didn'gree it was
- 39:15Speaker 1: written very well, it's funny, but she she just delivered
- 39:18Speaker 1: it really funny about how fucking nuts she is. And
- 39:21Speaker 1: then and then she's just just finally, finally, finally, she
- 39:24Speaker 1: says to Rick Schroeder, like, you want to know, this
- 39:26Speaker 1: is why I'm hiding, and he just lets all her
- 39:29Speaker 1: fucking crazy loose and it's really really funny. And then
- 39:32Speaker 1: Rick Schroeder's like, I'm so turned on right now, and
- 39:34Speaker 1: then they going like furiously make up. That was funny.
- 39:38Speaker 1: Do you know why he's so turned on? Why that's crazy?
- 39:42Speaker 1: Because crazy is good It gets old quick, but it's
- 39:47Speaker 1: good in the beginning if you can find yourself somebody
- 39:50Speaker 1: crazy In the beginning, you're like, holy shit, we were
- 39:53Speaker 1: doing so many crazy things and means crazy sexually or
- 39:57Speaker 1: do you mean crazy like a crazy person? You mean
- 39:59Speaker 1: crazy bed? I mean crazy sexually. So what happens is
- 40:03Speaker 1: crazy person usually means crazy sexually, and so from crazy sexually,
- 40:08Speaker 1: you're like, holy ship, look at all the things we're doing.
- 40:11Speaker 1: But here's the thing. Crazy gets old real quick because
- 40:14Speaker 1: at some point you're like, yo, this person is fucking crazy. Yeah.
- 40:18Speaker 1: But also, don't you worry sometimes of someone's two nuts
- 40:21Speaker 1: in bed that they're You're a little like Jesus, they've
- 40:24Speaker 1: got ten hours. Who gives a funk? Who cares? There
- 40:28Speaker 1: with you at that moment? Who cares? Who cares? Dude?
- 40:31Speaker 1: Who the funk cares? What happened before you and what's
- 40:34Speaker 1: going to happen after you? This was something that was
- 40:36Speaker 1: hung up on for so long. Oh my god, she's
- 40:39Speaker 1: too experienced, or oh my god, she's not experienced enough.
- 40:42Speaker 1: Fuck that ship. When you're with someone, you're with someone,
- 40:46Speaker 1: and that's your moment together. What happens before and after
- 40:50Speaker 1: is irrelevant. Dude, it has nothing to do with you,
- 40:53Speaker 1: so why worry about it? All? Right? Well, I think
- 40:56Speaker 1: that's good advice for people. I'm sure there's other people
- 40:59Speaker 1: out there it was across their mind when their partner
- 41:02Speaker 1: all of a sudden is doing some position that not
- 41:05Speaker 1: even the Kama Sutra had had time to draw. Um.
- 41:09Speaker 1: But they're like, then where did this come from? That's
- 41:12Speaker 1: your own hang up? Honest to goodness, that's your own
- 41:15Speaker 1: hang up. If what I do is too advanced for
- 41:19Speaker 1: you and you're not having a good time, then you
- 41:22Speaker 1: know what, we shouldn't be together, and vice versa. Your love.
- 41:25Speaker 1: Your love might be too much for me. It might
- 41:27Speaker 1: be like a double black diamond sex. And I'm just
- 41:30Speaker 1: ready for for blue square? Is there such thing as
- 41:34Speaker 1: a blue square? Is that? Is that? Yeah? It goes green,
- 41:37Speaker 1: It goes green circle, blue square, black diamond, double black diamond?
- 41:42Speaker 1: Got it? And I I'm just saying, you know, you
- 41:45Speaker 1: might be a blue square. Um, this person in bed
- 41:51Speaker 1: and then all of a sudden you're in bed with
- 41:52Speaker 1: a double black diamond person. You're like, oh, ship, this
- 41:55Speaker 1: is scary. These moguls are hard. I don't know how
- 42:01Speaker 1: to keep this medical Listen did someone die. As long
- 42:06Speaker 1: as you don't die, it's all good. Right, if you
- 42:08Speaker 1: survive a double black diamond, you're like, I'm gonna do
- 42:10Speaker 1: that double black diamond again, right, as long as you
- 42:14Speaker 1: don't die, Right, as long as you survived Donald. Why
- 42:18Speaker 1: did golf clubs need socks? I've been dying and know
- 42:21Speaker 1: this my whole life. Why do you have to put
- 42:23Speaker 1: little booties on them? Or they could they get cold? No,
- 42:27Speaker 1: it's just that dents and things like that happen to clubs,
- 42:32Speaker 1: and scratches happen to clubs, and you know, it's all
- 42:35Speaker 1: about what you see when you look down at the
- 42:38Speaker 1: ball and the club. So if there's a dent or
- 42:41Speaker 1: a scratch on your club, it might throw your alignment off.
- 42:45Speaker 1: It might. Uh these are this is honestly like when
- 42:48Speaker 1: I first started playing golf, I didn't understand why all
- 42:50Speaker 1: these people had socks on their clubs. But it's actually
- 42:53Speaker 1: to keep the ship looking uh so much. Uh. You're
- 42:59Speaker 1: used to a certain picture. When you're playing golf and
- 43:01Speaker 1: you're looking down at a golf ball and you're driver
- 43:04Speaker 1: or your three would or your hybrid club, you're you're
- 43:07Speaker 1: used to a certain picture. If there's a scratch on
- 43:10Speaker 1: it that might throw off your swing. If there's a
- 43:13Speaker 1: dent in it, that might throw off your swing. So
- 43:16Speaker 1: it's important to take care of your clubs. When I
- 43:19Speaker 1: first when I first started playing golf, I was like,
- 43:21Speaker 1: that's bullshit until you until it happens to you, and
- 43:24Speaker 1: then you're like, oh, okay, I get it now. But donald,
- 43:28Speaker 1: excuse me for not knowing this. This is true, but
- 43:30Speaker 1: it seems to me only certain clubs get little dinky
- 43:34Speaker 1: cozy socks. Not all the clubs get them right, because
- 43:38Speaker 1: there are certain like your irons usually can handle clinking
- 43:42Speaker 1: against each other. Your would, well, that's more like a driver,
- 43:49Speaker 1: your one would as a driver. But like your drivers
- 43:51Speaker 1: and your woods, if they get a dent on them,
- 43:54Speaker 1: they're not as effective as they would be if they
- 43:57Speaker 1: were in good conditions. So you want to keep those
- 44:01Speaker 1: in pristine shape. You want to keep all of your clubs.
- 44:05Speaker 1: If you paid a thousand like them, things ain't cheap
- 44:08Speaker 1: like usually you pay like a thousand dollars for clubs,
- 44:10Speaker 1: upwards of a thousand dollars for clubs, and so you
- 44:13Speaker 1: want to maintain that investment. You wanna you wanna keep
- 44:16Speaker 1: that all for all of your clubs. So like you
- 44:20Speaker 1: go from putter putter to driver, you're spending upwards of
- 44:25Speaker 1: a thousand dollars. Usually there are some people, there are
- 44:28Speaker 1: some manufacturers that make clubs that are like I'm I'm
- 44:32Speaker 1: I'm very lucky. I I am down with p x
- 44:35Speaker 1: G and that's like the ultimate club in golf in
- 44:40Speaker 1: my opinion. Uh, they are the dopest of the dopest.
- 44:45Speaker 1: And because of that, you damn right. I I protect
- 44:49Speaker 1: that ship, I protect my driver, I protect my three
- 44:52Speaker 1: would I protect my hybrids? I protect you? Or you
- 44:56Speaker 1: might want to change where you're playing, because where I play,
- 44:59Speaker 1: they give you a club and you don't have to
- 45:02Speaker 1: take care of it. You just pick one that's the
- 45:04Speaker 1: right size for you and you you also play where
- 45:07Speaker 1: they got windmills. You also play where they got windmills,
- 45:11Speaker 1: and freaking there's no extra charge for the windmill. There's
- 45:14Speaker 1: no extra charge for the windmill. Right, the snacks snacks
- 45:19Speaker 1: at real golf courses. Right, let's go to break. Let's
- 45:24Speaker 1: go to break. You gotta we gotta be right back
- 45:26Speaker 1: after this break, and we're back. The ladies and gentlemen,
- 45:43Speaker 1: please welcome to the show. We have Nicholas solid, Hi, Nicholas,
- 45:55Speaker 1: are you good to see you? Welcome? I am loving
- 45:59Speaker 1: your COVID beard and hair. Thank you, thank you ye
- 46:02Speaker 1: to getting longer and longer. The beard I have to keep.
- 46:05Speaker 1: My wife said, you'll leave me if I ever get
- 46:06Speaker 1: rid of it. So you must. You must look like
- 46:10Speaker 1: a baby without it. I do. I'm you know, nervous.
- 46:16Speaker 1: I'm so sorry. I don't be nervous. Don't get nervous.
- 46:20Speaker 1: This is You're just around talking with a with a
- 46:22Speaker 1: couple of friends. They got Joel and Daniel here, that's Donald.
- 46:27Speaker 1: Why are you sleep deprivate? What is going on? And
- 46:29Speaker 1: what's going on? Are those action figures in your background
- 46:33Speaker 1: or no? Yes, some of them are. There's Don Della,
- 46:36Speaker 1: and there's a dog. I got him on some travels,
- 46:38Speaker 1: and then there's just a bunch of mess. My wife
- 46:40Speaker 1: and I are both teachers, so this is our teacher shelves.
- 46:42Speaker 1: We're teaching from home, and so we have to switch
- 46:45Speaker 1: in and out to teach right now because rather than virtual,
- 46:49Speaker 1: I'll show you the reason I am sleep deprived. Let's
- 46:51Speaker 1: see if he's oh, here comes to baby, y'all, it's
- 46:56Speaker 1: gonna be a baby puppy got to be a baby.
- 47:04Speaker 1: Ladies and gentlemen giving up for market, and the baby
- 47:09Speaker 1: was precious, so cute. He's he's uh yeah, he's our angel.
- 47:19Speaker 1: He's a little going back on sleep aggression right now,
- 47:21Speaker 1: so we're trying to see if we could get him
- 47:23Speaker 1: back to sleep at some point. So he's been staying
- 47:25Speaker 1: up a lot of nights and stuff and so congratulations.
- 47:29Speaker 1: That's very exciting, Thank you very much. Yeah, it's just
- 47:31Speaker 1: been exciting week overall. So I'm super happy. Uh, can
- 47:35Speaker 1: I do one thing right now? Anything you want? Well,
- 47:39Speaker 1: he knocked over the Are you okay? Are you okay? Dude? Nicholas, Nicholas,
- 47:48Speaker 1: don't die, dude, don't die, dude. I told you I
- 47:51Speaker 1: was nervous. Don't be nervous. Okay, you guys know. Oh,
- 47:56Speaker 1: and then I wrote the day after that, I wrote,
- 48:00Speaker 1: what ask good question of fake doctor's real friend? And
- 48:03Speaker 1: it happened, and turn your key to turn your k
- 48:09Speaker 1: turn your kid, turn your kid. I turned my key,
- 48:11Speaker 1: I turned my phone. Nicholas has held up a white
- 48:13Speaker 1: board and it says goals at the top, because we
- 48:16Speaker 1: did a segment talking about white boards and writing down
- 48:18Speaker 1: your goals. And the very first thing on his goal
- 48:22Speaker 1: list is asked a question on fake doctor's real friends
- 48:24Speaker 1: and it is beautifully crossed out. And then after that,
- 48:28Speaker 1: it's win a dance battle. Dude, we could make that
- 48:32Speaker 1: happen today too. Yeah, but you better know how to dance. Okay,
- 48:40Speaker 1: it's done, it's done. I'm not gonna win that one
- 48:42Speaker 1: right now. Well, I'm really I'm really happy for you, man,
- 48:44Speaker 1: And and and you know, we choke around the time here,
- 48:48Speaker 1: but I'm really believing this stuff. I really believe in
- 48:51Speaker 1: and writing your goals down and manifesting things and looking
- 48:54Speaker 1: at it every single day. And I've seen a handful
- 48:57Speaker 1: of people out there who who sent me sort of
- 48:59Speaker 1: joking or maybe they're not joking, screenshots of the whiteboard
- 49:02Speaker 1: they got and uh, and I'm I'm really, I really
- 49:05Speaker 1: am a big fan of it. I think there's you know,
- 49:08Speaker 1: looking at something every day, even if it's going into
- 49:10Speaker 1: your brain subconsciously and going, God, what have I done
- 49:13Speaker 1: today to further that goal? I think that that's it's
- 49:15Speaker 1: very very effective. So I listen, Nicholas, you're you're you're
- 49:19Speaker 1: walking proof it works here, you are on on the show.
- 49:22Speaker 1: I know it's so it's so exciting. Yeah, I totally
- 49:25Speaker 1: believe and tell my students that I try to, like,
- 49:28Speaker 1: I try to put a lot of positivity in the world,
- 49:30Speaker 1: and I try to do positive stuff, and so I
- 49:32Speaker 1: just also trying to make positive fun. So I'm like,
- 49:34Speaker 1: if it doesn't happen, it doesn't happen. But I'm gonna
- 49:36Speaker 1: keep on trying. And so, yeah, I've set jelf you
- 49:40Speaker 1: emails and this is the one I got picked. So
- 49:42Speaker 1: I was like, hey, it worked, it works, So I'm
- 49:44Speaker 1: super good. Good. You made you made me happy. You
- 49:47Speaker 1: made me happy. I just the fact that we can
- 49:49Speaker 1: make a miniscule difference in your life in any way
- 49:52Speaker 1: makes us happy. Wait, hold up, I have a random
- 49:54Speaker 1: question for Nicholas. Yeah. Have you ever watched Eight Is Enough? Yeah,
- 50:00Speaker 1: it was a long time ago, but I've seen it.
- 50:02Speaker 1: Do you remember Nicholas from Eight Is Enough? Yeah? He
- 50:05Speaker 1: was so cute's cute? Yeah, he was the haircut, the
- 50:10Speaker 1: bowl haircut. He was like Joey uh Lawrence. Joey Lawrence
- 50:14Speaker 1: was Joey and everything. I feel like Nicholas was Nicholas
- 50:17Speaker 1: and everything. This is just a nonsequ a moment, a nonsequor,
- 50:21Speaker 1: a moment from Yeah, but Joey. Lawrence really always played Joey,
- 50:25Speaker 1: and I always wondered, why does he have in his
- 50:27Speaker 1: contract that the character is going to be named Joey.
- 50:30Speaker 1: The guy never played anyone not named Joey. Apparently he
- 50:33Speaker 1: did that too. Tony was always Tony and almost every
- 50:35Speaker 1: show that he ever did, even on Taxi, Yeah Taxi,
- 50:40Speaker 1: and then it was Tony and Who's the Boss? And
- 50:42Speaker 1: then he was Tony. He just came up with another
- 50:44Speaker 1: Netflix solo on he was always Tony in every show.
- 50:47Speaker 1: All right, Nicholas, do you who have a question for
- 50:50Speaker 1: for any of us that could be about any topic
- 50:53Speaker 1: in the world. I have a question, and then I
- 50:56Speaker 1: also have a six six for your were excited to
- 51:00Speaker 1: fix your life. We're gonna fix it. We're gonna fix
- 51:02Speaker 1: we can fix anything. You got a new baby, a
- 51:05Speaker 1: beautiful wife. I got to fix your life. This this
- 51:07Speaker 1: new segment um a lot of new segments hitting the show. Donald,
- 51:11Speaker 1: There's uh, there's uh, but but fix It I think
- 51:14Speaker 1: is the world's favorite. Everyone is clamoring about all the
- 51:17Speaker 1: fixing we're doing. They want me to fix their life,
- 51:19Speaker 1: and they want you to fix their life. Well, we're
- 51:21Speaker 1: gonna do it a a right, Nicholas. Question first, go ahead, Okay,
- 51:24Speaker 1: question first, And this is one that I that was
- 51:27Speaker 1: really hit home. I was trying to think of a
- 51:28Speaker 1: lot of shows before y'alls that had like two male
- 51:32Speaker 1: characters that were very open with their emotions, uh and
- 51:35Speaker 1: so loving. And I remember, like I had a roommate,
- 51:37Speaker 1: we lived together forever. We like that was what we did.
- 51:40Speaker 1: We were just very open and loving. I remember we
- 51:43Speaker 1: There wasn't just like toxic masculinity where you had to
- 51:45Speaker 1: be you know, all the time. And it was just
- 51:48Speaker 1: like I really thought, like Scrubs spoke to me, and
- 51:51Speaker 1: I think the more I watched it, the more senior
- 51:53Speaker 1: friendship it was. For me. It was a way to
- 51:55Speaker 1: just kind of be like, oh, I can be open
- 51:57Speaker 1: with my feelings and I can say I love you.
- 51:59Speaker 1: And even now, like as you know, growing up and
- 52:01Speaker 1: raising my son, that's something I want to I want
- 52:04Speaker 1: this openness and I don't like you guys have talked
- 52:06Speaker 1: about it a lot, but even in the first season
- 52:10Speaker 1: it was very there was very a lot more openness,
- 52:13Speaker 1: even before you all had built a lot of chemistry
- 52:14Speaker 1: and stuff outside of the show, so I didn't know,
- 52:17Speaker 1: like did Bill bring that in or did he just
- 52:19Speaker 1: build off because y'all just instantly connected, Like, how did
- 52:22Speaker 1: that happen? I don't know how that happened. That's a
- 52:26Speaker 1: good question because I think it was both of us
- 52:29Speaker 1: two things happening, and simultaneously it was May and Donald's
- 52:32Speaker 1: friendship really growing and becoming really true best friends in
- 52:37Speaker 1: real life, and then we were so like that that
- 52:41Speaker 1: I think that he started to lean it even more
- 52:44Speaker 1: in that direction, like it was I feel like it was.
- 52:47Speaker 1: I feel like it was always ja D and Turk
- 52:50Speaker 1: were always meant to be the relationship that every guy
- 52:56Speaker 1: wishes they could have with another male. Uh you know,
- 53:01Speaker 1: you they they but Zack and I we became that relationship,
- 53:09Speaker 1: and then it was like, well, then I know, let's
- 53:11Speaker 1: go even further with it, you know what I mean.
- 53:14Speaker 1: I don't know how to I don't know how that happened.
- 53:16Speaker 1: That's a that's a that's a great question, because it
- 53:20Speaker 1: started off that way and then we just we just
- 53:24Speaker 1: ate it up and took it to the next level.
- 53:27Speaker 1: I guess yeah. I don't think if you look at
- 53:29Speaker 1: the pilot, there's not a whole lot of like commentary
- 53:32Speaker 1: on masculinity I mean, my character is a little nerdy,
- 53:34Speaker 1: but it's more about like about me and Donald being
- 53:38Speaker 1: best bros. And there's stuff about like race. There's stuff
- 53:41Speaker 1: about like, hey, if there's a rap song and the
- 53:43Speaker 1: N words in there, am I allowed to sing it?
- 53:45Speaker 1: And He's like no, And I'm like, okay, good. I
- 53:47Speaker 1: needed to know that, Thank you very much. So there's
- 53:49Speaker 1: I think Bill wanted to like talk about two close
- 53:52Speaker 1: friends who were who who were best buds and and
- 53:56Speaker 1: and race barely even came into the equation. But I
- 53:59Speaker 1: think the sort of commentary we started doing on on
- 54:02Speaker 1: what is traditional masculinity um sort of developed over time
- 54:06Speaker 1: with with with me and Donald's relationship. I really liked it.
- 54:10Speaker 1: I mean it was very free, I guess, and I
- 54:12Speaker 1: couldn't think of any other show before y'alls that had
- 54:14Speaker 1: that type of relationship. It was like, you know, you
- 54:17Speaker 1: think of all these ones and it's just two dudes
- 54:19Speaker 1: hanging out, drinking, be stip along those lines. But this
- 54:21Speaker 1: was this felt very like an authentic friendship, and I
- 54:24Speaker 1: mean it was, but it was just it was very
- 54:26Speaker 1: I really enjoyed that. So thank you for that, Nicholas.
- 54:28Speaker 1: I I agree with you on that because on television
- 54:32Speaker 1: you don't see it, but in real life that is
- 54:34Speaker 1: how guys are you know what I mean? I remember
- 54:37Speaker 1: my best friend in high school, he's also an actor. Now,
- 54:41Speaker 1: my best friend in high school was dash Myhawk, right,
- 54:43Speaker 1: him and this other kids, Kevin Jordan's, but dash Myhawk,
- 54:47Speaker 1: who was now on Ray Donovan and has been in
- 54:50Speaker 1: several movies and stuff like that. He and I were
- 54:53Speaker 1: best friends in high school and we both moved to
- 54:57Speaker 1: Los Angeles at the same time. And I remember one
- 55:01Speaker 1: time seeing him and his roommate, who just happened to
- 55:04Speaker 1: be Josh Hopkins, who was on one of Bill's shows,
- 55:08Speaker 1: and I, yeah, Cougar Town, and I saw them act
- 55:13Speaker 1: the way Zack and I act towards each other, and
- 55:17Speaker 1: it was like, oh, Zack and I aren't you know,
- 55:21Speaker 1: we're not. Obviously we're one of a kind because we're
- 55:24Speaker 1: who we are. But this relationship is out there. There
- 55:28Speaker 1: are plenty of people out there that are like Turk
- 55:31Speaker 1: and j D, that are like Zack and Donald. Now
- 55:34Speaker 1: I hate to talk about myself and if that person,
- 55:35Speaker 1: I apologize for that, but but there are a bunch
- 55:39Speaker 1: of people out there that are like that. It's just
- 55:42Speaker 1: not portrayed on television, uh in a positive way that
- 55:46Speaker 1: Zack and I were able to portray Turk and j
- 55:49Speaker 1: D you know what I mean. And so I like,
- 55:52Speaker 1: but I really like you said that that's gonna um.
- 55:55Speaker 1: I don't mean to imply that it was from watching us,
- 55:58Speaker 1: but the way you talked about wanting to raise your son,
- 56:01Speaker 1: you know, not programming him to be filled with the
- 56:04Speaker 1: same bullshit that a lot of us were were program
- 56:06Speaker 1: programmed with. It. Yeah, absolutely, it's like the same. Like
- 56:10Speaker 1: I I didn't drink beer till this twenty six I
- 56:12Speaker 1: was always drinking apple teens and I was drinking you
- 56:15Speaker 1: know these, and like everybody give me a hard time
- 56:17Speaker 1: for it, but I was like, well, that's doing it.
- 56:19Speaker 1: Like I like it. Just it was very free and
- 56:22Speaker 1: I loved it, and I was just I don't know,
- 56:24Speaker 1: I really did appreciate that, especially growing up, because it
- 56:26Speaker 1: meant I could be more open with the people around
- 56:28Speaker 1: me and stuff. And now you know, you're older, you
- 56:32Speaker 1: in your way, yeah, this is just who I am.
- 56:34Speaker 1: I'm okay, but when you're younger, it's kind of hard
- 56:35Speaker 1: to be as open as as I think you want
- 56:38Speaker 1: to be. Yeah, because you're judged. You're judged, and and
- 56:42Speaker 1: other people's judgment has an effect on you, which it shouldn't,
- 56:45Speaker 1: you know what I mean? Uh? And when you become
- 56:48Speaker 1: when you become an adult and you realize that, you know,
- 56:51Speaker 1: everybody else is dealing with their own ship and you
- 56:54Speaker 1: need to deal with your own. Who gives a funk
- 56:56Speaker 1: what everybody thinks about it? Really, it really warms my
- 56:58Speaker 1: heart though. I gotta tell you what when you say
- 57:00Speaker 1: something like that that the show in some way inspired
- 57:03Speaker 1: you to be more who you truly are, whatever that is.
- 57:06Speaker 1: I mean, I think that's what we're all striving for,
- 57:09Speaker 1: is is to be in relationships that allow us to
- 57:12Speaker 1: be who we truly are. And um, you know, we
- 57:16Speaker 1: were just at the time making a comedy, but then
- 57:17Speaker 1: we did kind of tiptoe into something cultural about masculinity
- 57:22Speaker 1: and and and talking about what is acceptable in in
- 57:25Speaker 1: our society. And this was twenty years ago, as we
- 57:28Speaker 1: all know, we're still battling a lot of these issues
- 57:33Speaker 1: right now. How how can we fix your life? Because
- 57:35Speaker 1: that's what we're really good at, our word, that's where
- 57:38Speaker 1: our specialty is. Nicholas, I'm going to fix your life
- 57:41Speaker 1: right now. Well, you're the one number five, number five.
- 57:47Speaker 1: It's a sleep more baby boys going through a sleepergression
- 57:51Speaker 1: right now. And I wanted to know Donald, you have
- 57:54Speaker 1: so many children, I was wondering us, do you have
- 57:57Speaker 1: any tips on like methods for sleep training and how
- 58:02Speaker 1: to get him to sleep more at night? Okay, first
- 58:04Speaker 1: of all, how old is your kid? He's three months
- 58:07Speaker 1: three and a half, he's about three four And the
- 58:08Speaker 1: books say that this is about the time when you
- 58:10Speaker 1: start doing it, right, So you're trying to sleep train
- 58:14Speaker 1: right now, right? Yeah. I think we're gonna start this
- 58:16Speaker 1: weekend because he's been staying up most nights for the
- 58:19Speaker 1: last few nights. So when the baby starts crying, you
- 58:25Speaker 1: kind of have to ignore it and let it is
- 58:29Speaker 1: very heartbreaking, but you kind of have to ignore it
- 58:33Speaker 1: and trust that the baby will put himself back to sleep.
- 58:40Speaker 1: And so they screaming. I mean that must be really
- 58:43Speaker 1: you know, when there's a problem, you know what I mean?
- 58:48Speaker 1: You know, if there if it's here's the thing, you
- 58:51Speaker 1: have a healthy baby, right am? I correct in saying that,
- 58:55Speaker 1: so you know when there is a problem. Right now,
- 58:59Speaker 1: it's just like every kid out there in the world
- 59:03Speaker 1: at a very young age, you're being tested to see
- 59:08Speaker 1: if you will jump when called for. I promise you
- 59:13Speaker 1: what I'm I promise you what I'm telling you is true. Dude. Listen,
- 59:16Speaker 1: we were we were very lucky, and we hired a
- 59:19Speaker 1: night nurse and all of that stuff, and the and
- 59:21Speaker 1: and the night nurse explained to us the whole situation too.
- 59:25Speaker 1: It really is you being able to say, I know
- 59:30Speaker 1: you're crying. I know you want me right now sort
- 59:36Speaker 1: this out for yourself, you know, and you know, if
- 59:39Speaker 1: your baby is crying for over an hour, then yes,
- 59:42Speaker 1: obviously run into the room forty five minutes. Obviously run
- 59:45Speaker 1: into the room and see what's going on. But most
- 59:48Speaker 1: likely it's not gonna last for more than fifteen to
- 59:51Speaker 1: twenty minutes, and then they're gonna go back to sleep.
- 59:54Speaker 1: All right, we'll give it a shot, all right, Nicholas,
- 59:56Speaker 1: Do you think we fixed your life? Yeah, we're gonna
- 59:59Speaker 1: see thunder, some claws, thunders, some blows and thunders of blocks.
- 1:00:03Speaker 1: I think we did it, Nicholas, Nicholas, it doesn't happen.
- 1:00:06Speaker 1: It doesn't happen overnight. It's gonna take some time. I'm
- 1:00:09Speaker 1: just gonna always fix his life. Donald stop, sucking up
- 1:00:11Speaker 1: the segment. It fucking worked. Okay, you're welcok you, Nicholas,
- 1:00:15Speaker 1: You're welcome. Nicholas, You're welcome. Come. Thank you guys so
- 1:00:18Speaker 1: much for fixing my life than Las. Good luck with
- 1:00:22Speaker 1: the baby, Nicholas, good luck bye, buddy. You're amazing. I'll
- 1:00:28Speaker 1: always remember I'll always remember it. Nicholas should put on
- 1:00:31Speaker 1: that whiteboard. Learned not to fall out of chair. What
- 1:00:34Speaker 1: a nice man. Balance. Speaking of babies, j D fights
- 1:00:40Speaker 1: a demon baby in this episode. That was funny when
- 1:00:42Speaker 1: he fights the demon baby. Huh, not only was it
- 1:00:46Speaker 1: a demon baby, it was a demon baby doll because
- 1:00:49Speaker 1: the baby didn't move and it looks like it was
- 1:00:52Speaker 1: so bad, but it was. That's what I think. The
- 1:00:54Speaker 1: badness of it made it even funnier than I'm like
- 1:00:56Speaker 1: running and then I fall out a frame of it.
- 1:01:00Speaker 1: Oh my god, I had a field there with that
- 1:01:02Speaker 1: that fake baby. Hey guess what. This is the very
- 1:01:05Speaker 1: first episode where the janitor meets Turk. I was I'm
- 1:01:11Speaker 1: about to say that. Turk and the Janitor finally meet
- 1:01:13Speaker 1: for the first time, and the Janitor says to Turk,
- 1:01:17Speaker 1: I don't care. He's like, what's your name? Who are you?
- 1:01:21Speaker 1: But you're so excited to meet him. I mean, j
- 1:01:23Speaker 1: D must have told you about this janitor. And you're like,
- 1:01:25Speaker 1: I'm Dr, You've got like a smile. Everybody's like Dr.
- 1:01:27Speaker 1: Turkey's like, I don't care when he's doing, but but
- 1:01:32Speaker 1: but with the fist and he punched me and I
- 1:01:35Speaker 1: laughed when he goes when I laugh, you can see
- 1:01:38Speaker 1: if you go back and watch you guys, you can
- 1:01:39Speaker 1: see that Donald is fucking holding in his laughter at that.
- 1:01:43Speaker 1: He You thought Neil was hilarious in that moment, well,
- 1:01:47Speaker 1: and then what if this was the first time working
- 1:01:48Speaker 1: with Neil on the show. Yeah, that scene in the
- 1:01:52Speaker 1: office with with Ted the lawyer are Sam Lloyd is hilarious.
- 1:01:57Speaker 1: I really laughed out loud at that. If we go
- 1:01:59Speaker 1: in and we tell him, hey, um we go and
- 1:02:01Speaker 1: we said, he goes, hey fellas always nice to have
- 1:02:03Speaker 1: some visitors. What's the DeLeo? And we're like, hey, Ted,
- 1:02:07Speaker 1: if if two doctors were hitting golf balls off the
- 1:02:09Speaker 1: roof and they caused the car accident and now the
- 1:02:11Speaker 1: guys in the ICU, would it would that be a
- 1:02:13Speaker 1: big problem. And it's like a long pause and he's
- 1:02:15Speaker 1: just frozen and we go ted and he goes, hey,
- 1:02:18Speaker 1: fellas always nice to have visitors. What's the deal? Like
- 1:02:21Speaker 1: he just he totally went into like a dark hole.
- 1:02:29Speaker 1: And then I laughed when you put out your fist
- 1:02:31Speaker 1: and you put out your fist to fis bump him
- 1:02:33Speaker 1: and then he slaps it like like he's slapping you five. Yeah,
- 1:02:39Speaker 1: I dude, It's always great to watch him. At the
- 1:02:42Speaker 1: end of the episode, when he's on the roof with
- 1:02:44Speaker 1: the Todd and he's hitting golf balls off the roof,
- 1:02:47Speaker 1: He's like, I wonder, I just can't believe where did
- 1:02:49Speaker 1: I get the idea to hit golf balls off the roof?
- 1:02:52Speaker 1: And Todd's like, yeah, man, hey, do you mind if
- 1:02:54Speaker 1: I stripped down to the banana hammock? He looks back
- 1:02:58Speaker 1: at him and he's like, oh god, And he's about
- 1:03:01Speaker 1: it at the golf ball. Why his Todd sun bathing?
- 1:03:05Speaker 1: Why does he feel the need to get into the
- 1:03:07Speaker 1: fucking fire covered banana hammock at this moment? This is
- 1:03:11Speaker 1: a traditional fire. This isn't the traditional one either. This
- 1:03:15Speaker 1: is like this is one, though it's a little different.
- 1:03:17Speaker 1: It doesn't look the same, it's not as it but
- 1:03:20Speaker 1: it had, but it wasn't as flame on as the
- 1:03:24Speaker 1: as the real Todd one. As you're saying the fire,
- 1:03:27Speaker 1: the fire is burning lower on his on his banana hammocks,
- 1:03:31Speaker 1: on his on his banana hammock in this episode. That's
- 1:03:33Speaker 1: a good thing. We should bring Todd in right now, Todd, Hey,
- 1:03:37Speaker 1: let's ask Rob. Here's a great, great moment to ask
- 1:03:40Speaker 1: the talk. Ladies and gentlemen, Welcome to Todd Talk Rob.
- 1:03:44Speaker 1: The Todd has had several banana hammocks. What was the
- 1:03:47Speaker 1: most comfortable for you? And is it? Is it us?
- 1:03:51Speaker 1: Or if you don't mind referencing the one in that
- 1:03:54Speaker 1: you wear at the end of My Karma. Why does
- 1:03:57Speaker 1: that banana hammock feels slightly different from some your other
- 1:04:00Speaker 1: more notorious banana hammocks. And feel free not to write
- 1:04:04Speaker 1: this in a long prepared paragraph, or feel free to
- 1:04:08Speaker 1: write this in a long prepared whatever whatever you prefer.
- 1:04:14Speaker 1: Talks comfortable, the Todd Hamn's up for the people. Comfort
- 1:04:19Speaker 1: is of no imports. Now after season two, episode one,
- 1:04:22Speaker 1: with the premiere of the banana hammock in Mirror Todd,
- 1:04:25Speaker 1: it made a big impression. There's a lot of talk,
- 1:04:28Speaker 1: a lot of scuttle button. I think they wanted to
- 1:04:30Speaker 1: tone it down, tamp it down, tape it down. But
- 1:04:32Speaker 1: you can't keep the big dog down in this episode
- 1:04:36Speaker 1: my camera. That was no banana hammock. It was a
- 1:04:38Speaker 1: Speedoh I should swim the hundred meter freestyle on the
- 1:04:42Speaker 1: Olympics and that thing never again. Five And please, if
- 1:04:46Speaker 1: you're listening to this higher rob on cameo, you can
- 1:04:50Speaker 1: you can send your your Scrubs friends messages from the
- 1:04:54Speaker 1: todd He just had a birthday, guys, he just had
- 1:04:57Speaker 1: a birthday. He turned I know. I put him on
- 1:04:59Speaker 1: my my the fifty three, I think, I think, I
- 1:05:02Speaker 1: think three fifty four one or the other. Yeah, looks good.
- 1:05:08Speaker 1: He looks real good man. I'm telling you that when
- 1:05:12Speaker 1: we were doing the show, he would always joke that
- 1:05:14Speaker 1: he was much older than us. Uh, and he was.
- 1:05:19Speaker 1: He really was. Yeah, but he looks good. He's got
- 1:05:22Speaker 1: he's got a nice skin. You know. The episode really
- 1:05:26Speaker 1: is about, I felt at the end, was about vulnerability,
- 1:05:29Speaker 1: about putting yourself out there, being afraid of how you're
- 1:05:32Speaker 1: going to be judged. Several characters are are afraid of
- 1:05:37Speaker 1: being vulnerable, and I just thought that was another theme
- 1:05:41Speaker 1: that that crept up for me. I just wrote I
- 1:05:42Speaker 1: wrote down vulnerability and relationships and and how we're all
- 1:05:46Speaker 1: wearing this this armor to protect our hearts. Um, but
- 1:05:50Speaker 1: the characters in this episode are going out of their
- 1:05:53Speaker 1: way to to to put themselves out there and be brave.
- 1:05:56Speaker 1: I wish I would have thought of that when I
- 1:05:58Speaker 1: was doing the recap of the show. Well, your recap
- 1:06:01Speaker 1: is so thorough. It was so incredibly thorough. I don't
- 1:06:03Speaker 1: know where you would have had time in the thirty
- 1:06:05Speaker 1: seconds to do that. All right, everybody, that's our show. Donald,
- 1:06:12Speaker 1: anything else you want to tell the people, Yes, I
- 1:06:15Speaker 1: do want to tell all of the frontline workers still
- 1:06:19Speaker 1: to this at this moment, right now, we still want
- 1:06:23Speaker 1: to shout you out and give you all the love
- 1:06:26Speaker 1: we possibly can. And I don't just mean the frontline
- 1:06:29Speaker 1: workers in the hospitals. I mean the frontline workers that
- 1:06:32Speaker 1: work at supermarkets, that work at testing sites, the frontline
- 1:06:37Speaker 1: workers that are out there, the essential job people that
- 1:06:40Speaker 1: are out there in the streets. Right now. You are
- 1:06:43Speaker 1: living a life that a lot of people are afraid
- 1:06:48Speaker 1: to live. And I respect you and I support you
- 1:06:53Speaker 1: from my closet right now because I am afraid to
- 1:06:57Speaker 1: do those things. So that being said, God bless you
- 1:07:01Speaker 1: and I support you. Thank you everybody for listening. Don't
- 1:07:05Speaker 1: forget to subscribe to the show. Tell your friends about
- 1:07:08Speaker 1: the show, because you might be loving the show, but

- 1:07:22Speaker 1: It's getting more bad ship every week. You gotta check
