Transcript
- 0:12Speaker 1: It's time and lower low. Welcome to the naughty but
- 0:16Speaker 1: Nice I'm your host, rum Shooter, and it's a bright,
- 0:19Speaker 1: fresh Monday morning, and we're with a bright, fresh Garrett Voguel.
- 0:23Speaker 1: I hope, Garrett. Are you there?
- 0:24Speaker 2: Oh?
- 0:25Speaker 3: I am here? Are you bright? Are you fresh?
- 0:27Speaker 2: I am bright.
- 0:28Speaker 1: I have a bushy tail and big eyes. To day,
- 0:30Speaker 1: I popped out of bed like a piece of toast.
- 0:32Speaker 1: I look forward to Mondays. I love that song of
- 0:34Speaker 1: Mannic Mondays, but it does not apply to me. I've
- 0:37Speaker 1: always thought that song was a little bit odd because
- 0:39Speaker 1: I'm one of those annoying people that really look forward
- 0:42Speaker 1: to start in the week.
- 0:44Speaker 3: Do you pop out of bed like that? Or does
- 0:45Speaker 3: it take a minute?
- 0:46Speaker 1: Do you need Bruce said, it's awful. He said, it's
- 0:49Speaker 1: like living with Mary Poppins. He said, the minute my
- 0:52Speaker 1: eyes open, I have a smile on my house like
- 0:55Speaker 1: Missus Doutfire. I have a big smile. I always feel
- 0:58Speaker 1: so lucky because this life I live. This it's a
- 1:01Speaker 1: great life, but it wasn't necessarily the life that I
- 1:04Speaker 1: was destined to have. I came from a really kind
- 1:07Speaker 1: of rough area.
- 1:09Speaker 3: It's not like you grew up.
- 1:12Speaker 1: I grew up in a very very different way. So
- 1:14Speaker 1: when I look out the window and I see the
- 1:15Speaker 1: Hudson River, when I use my delongay coffee machine that
- 1:19Speaker 1: was a gift from from your good self, Garret, I
- 1:22Speaker 1: feel very Okay, it's a delicious, delongate.
- 1:25Speaker 3: Long I can get into your house.
- 1:27Speaker 1: That's that's not true. Okay, let's get into the show.
- 1:30Speaker 1: What time is it? City Time? Big story at the
- 1:33Speaker 1: top of the show. So Meghan markles lifestyle brand. It's
- 1:37Speaker 1: on the verge of crabs, so it has been mismanaged,
- 1:40Speaker 1: no way. They are running out of money. There's even
- 1:43Speaker 1: some rumors that their vendors have not been paid. So
- 1:45Speaker 1: Meghan's much hiked brand aspiring into a total disaster, with
- 1:51Speaker 1: insiders saying they're now drowning in debt. They are played
- 1:54Speaker 1: by chaos and behind the scenes it's teetering on the
- 1:58Speaker 1: brink of class. So Megie launched this with the best
- 2:02Speaker 1: intentions in the world, and I'm told the products are good,
- 2:06Speaker 1: you just can't get them. I finally got that jam
- 2:09Speaker 1: delicious little bit expensive though, and Schmuckers is better for
- 2:13Speaker 1: seven ninety nine.
- 2:14Speaker 3: So how much did you pay? How much you pay?
- 2:16Speaker 1: I think it was like twenty three day. It was like,
- 2:21Speaker 1: but I think I Mine was like an illegal drug deal.
- 2:23Speaker 1: Mine was not from her, so I couldn't get it.
- 2:25Speaker 1: So I bought it from somebody who marked it up.
- 2:27Speaker 1: It's like going to substuck. It's like it go into
- 2:30Speaker 1: like one of these sites to get Lady Gagar tickets
- 2:33Speaker 1: and ticket Master sold out and I've got to get
- 2:34Speaker 1: a sub what is it called stag housles of the stuff? Yeah,
- 2:38Speaker 1: well stub hub. And it's so I bought this down.
- 2:41Speaker 1: It's very nice back to making them. She started it
- 2:43Speaker 1: with good intentions. However, to launch a business of that size,
- 2:47Speaker 1: to launch a business when you actually have to provide
- 2:49Speaker 1: a product, Me and Garrett can chitter chatter to you
- 2:52Speaker 1: all day, but we're not sending you a pot of
- 2:55Speaker 1: jam in the meal. That is a process to get
- 2:58Speaker 1: the jam out of my kitchen to your front door,
- 3:01Speaker 1: to your fridge. Amazon, Please, I need a little help.
- 3:04Speaker 1: I'm not going to ever be able to figure that out.
- 3:07Speaker 1: So they started with good intentions, but I think they
- 3:09Speaker 1: hired the wrong people. I think they hired yes people,
- 3:12Speaker 1: And it's easy to fall into that trap. Garrett. If
- 3:15Speaker 1: you're a duchess. If you're used to people saying yes,
- 3:18Speaker 1: which Harry is from the day he was born. Nobody
- 3:20Speaker 1: said no to that prince in a very long time,
- 3:22Speaker 1: except maybe his family, but that's a different story. And
- 3:26Speaker 1: so it's very, very difficult to do this. And I
- 3:28Speaker 1: think now they've got themselves into such a hole. I
- 3:31Speaker 1: don't even know if it's fixable. I don't know who
- 3:34Speaker 1: would go, who would leave a big company, who would
- 3:37Speaker 1: leave Apple, who would leave iPhone and go and work
- 3:40Speaker 1: for Meghan and Harry who have a history of really
- 3:42Speaker 1: flying through his staff quite quite rapidly. And so I
- 3:46Speaker 1: feel like this could collapse, This could be over well.
- 3:49Speaker 3: You know, it's funny.
- 3:50Speaker 4: It's one of those like, you know, as commoners, I
- 3:54Speaker 4: guess you can call ourselves. They would well, yeah, to
- 3:58Speaker 4: see the rich the ill kind of like get a
- 4:01Speaker 4: little bit of the humble.
- 4:02Speaker 3: Pie that cost three ninety nine.
- 4:06Speaker 4: You know, it's kind of it's kind of you kind
- 4:08Speaker 4: of you don't feel bad, you know what I mean,
- 4:10Speaker 4: Like you're like, yes, you know what we all go
- 4:12Speaker 4: through it. Maybe it's your turn to experience what us
- 4:16Speaker 4: normal people feel, you know, almost every day.
- 4:19Speaker 1: Yeah, we say this a lot on the podcast. The
- 4:22Speaker 1: road to success is paved with failure. To get to
- 4:26Speaker 1: a successful place, you've often had to fail many many
- 4:29Speaker 1: times before, and you learn. And that's the key here.
- 4:33Speaker 1: I don't think Harry and Megan are learning because they
- 4:36Speaker 1: don't have to, because they're so privileged, they don't have
- 4:39Speaker 1: to worry about paying their rents. They're gonna be fine.
- 4:43Speaker 1: You and me Garrett, if we have a bad I
- 4:45Speaker 1: was gonna say month, but really a bad week, we're
- 4:48Speaker 1: gonna be fired. Like you've got to do your job.
- 4:51Speaker 1: And so I think best intentions in the world. Two
- 4:54Speaker 1: of the most very famous people in the world. But
- 4:56Speaker 1: he doesn't always trans translate, does it. We've seen so
- 4:58Speaker 1: many celebrities launch these products and they don't want to
- 5:02Speaker 1: look at the Housewives. For every Bethany Frankel, there are
- 5:06Speaker 1: tens on your Morgans member when that bay that's awful,
- 5:11Speaker 1: And then singer released a why that was kind of awful,
- 5:14Speaker 1: And then we see them on QVC. We see celebrities.
- 5:19Speaker 4: Like you see the Bethanis and you see the Gwyneths,
- 5:22Speaker 4: and you're like, you know what, I'm kind of in
- 5:24Speaker 4: the same realm. I can kind of maybe kind of
- 5:28Speaker 4: sort of maybe possibly do that, like and then you realize,
- 5:32Speaker 4: like and you jump off the cliff and you're like,
- 5:34Speaker 4: oh no, I can't turn around now, and.
- 5:36Speaker 3: You just unfortunately you got to keep going.
- 5:39Speaker 1: You got to keep going. I think this is at
- 5:40Speaker 1: the point where they might turn around soon, which brings
- 5:43Speaker 1: us to our pole question of the day. Meghan Markle's
- 5:45Speaker 1: lifestyle brand is on the verge of collaps mismanagement, run
- 5:49Speaker 1: again the money, maybe even not paying some of their vendors.
- 5:52Speaker 1: Are you surprised, yes or no?
- 5:54Speaker 3: Now I know you're going to know how this is
- 5:55Speaker 3: going to go. We know how.
- 5:58Speaker 1: But I think let me just think courage people here.
- 6:01Speaker 1: She was one of the most is one of the
- 6:03Speaker 1: most famous people in the world. If somebody told me
- 6:04Speaker 1: if I was, if I was a business person and
- 6:06Speaker 1: you said, do you want to launch a brand with
- 6:08Speaker 1: somebody who just got married and had a billion people
- 6:10Speaker 1: watch the wedding, I blow, Oh that sounds good. Do
- 6:13Speaker 1: you want somebody that is known around the world? All
- 6:16Speaker 1: that sounds good. That sounds good. But there's a lot
- 6:18Speaker 1: that goes into these brands. When I worked with Jessica Simpson,
- 6:21Speaker 1: her shoe collection was a big hit because she hired
- 6:23Speaker 1: the right people and then once those people fell apart,
- 6:27Speaker 1: the business did too. It wasn't really about Jesse.
- 6:29Speaker 3: She made her billion though she made the money, not.
- 6:31Speaker 1: Quite as much as she says. But that's true with
- 6:33Speaker 1: Beth name. But then otherl's a different story, right. What
- 6:36Speaker 1: do you think here? Are you surprised? Taking your votes
- 6:39Speaker 1: on our Twitter page at Naughty Knights Rum Facebook page
- 6:43Speaker 1: is Naughty Gossip and be sure to check back tomorrow
- 6:47Speaker 1: to hear your results. Hey Garrett, what are you working
- 6:50Speaker 1: on that? Well?
- 6:50Speaker 4: You hate to report on this and hopefully it's just
- 6:53Speaker 4: fans just overreacting, but apparently it looks like Justin Bieber
- 6:56Speaker 4: might be spiraling, you know, hanging out at night in
- 7:01Speaker 4: smoking joints, some shady possible friends hanging out with He's
- 7:05Speaker 4: close to what some are saying, maybe a Britney level meltdown.
- 7:08Speaker 3: Possibly.
- 7:09Speaker 4: You hate to hear it, and we'll start with this.
- 7:13Speaker 4: You know, the world thought Justin was headed this way.
- 7:16Speaker 4: Then he drops his album and he laughs in all
- 7:18Speaker 4: our faces, you know what I mean. But you know,
- 7:21Speaker 4: Justin recently was hanging out in Arizona on Thursday night
- 7:27Speaker 4: at Dave's on Broadway. In Glendale and Glendale Arizona. For
- 7:32Speaker 4: oh California, Okay, California, there's a Glendale Arizona.
- 7:35Speaker 3: That's why. Yeah. Yeah.
- 7:38Speaker 4: Out in Hollywood he was he was shooting some pool,
- 7:41Speaker 4: hanging out with friends, dancing around the table, and of course,
- 7:45Speaker 4: you know, if Justin Bieber shows up, it will be
- 7:47Speaker 4: on all social medias. And then just the night before
- 7:51Speaker 4: he was in West Hollywood at another club at one
- 7:53Speaker 4: of his friends album release parties, and you know, just
- 7:58Speaker 4: the crowd that he hangs out with him and it
- 8:01Speaker 4: just and this goes for everybody too, like you are
- 8:04Speaker 4: the type.
- 8:04Speaker 1: Of people you surround yourself with, you know, is important.
- 8:08Speaker 4: And here's the other interesting thing too. It has nothing
- 8:10Speaker 4: to do with well, it kind of has something to
- 8:12Speaker 4: do with Justin. So a Vegas nightclub over the weekend
- 8:15Speaker 4: got fooled thinking it was Justin Bieber performing, wanting to perform,
- 8:19Speaker 4: and it was an impersonator who looked exactly like him,
- 8:23Speaker 4: sounded nothing like him. But the crowd went crazy because
- 8:26Speaker 4: when you're in the loud club hearing a track of
- 8:28Speaker 4: Justin Bieber not singing, it was.
- 8:30Speaker 1: Like, oh my god, you don't notice it, Oh Justin,
- 8:33Speaker 1: this is heartbreaking. We've seen him spiral. He's been quite
- 8:36Speaker 1: honest about his mental health struggles. We know he has
- 8:39Speaker 1: substance abuse issues, Hailey. His wife doesn't seem to be around.
- 8:43Speaker 1: But these late nights, whenever I think you have a partner,
- 8:47Speaker 1: someone in their thirties, a married man with a kid
- 8:50Speaker 1: out smoking weed potentially in the wee hours of the
- 8:54Speaker 1: mornings with some shady friends, it's just not a good look.
- 8:57Speaker 1: Maybe it's funny when you're eighteen, nineteen and twenty, but
- 9:00Speaker 1: you're now adult, you've got a kid at home and
- 9:03Speaker 1: like you're out to the wee hours of the morning.
- 9:07Speaker 4: You go two ways with this, So you can either
- 9:10Speaker 4: double down and keep on going and just lead to
- 9:12Speaker 4: the demise of everything, or you hit that point like
- 9:16Speaker 4: he's getting to that point mid thirties then before forty,
- 9:19Speaker 4: where you're still doing it and then you wake up
- 9:21Speaker 4: one morning and.
- 9:22Speaker 1: Go, oh my god, no, I can't keep doing this, and.
- 9:26Speaker 3: Then you kind of stop.
- 9:27Speaker 1: You justin hasn't yet, Like many many points when we thought, okay,
- 9:33Speaker 1: that's rock bottom. He's bounced back. The album's oh great,
- 9:36Speaker 1: he's back, and then he seems to fall back into
- 9:38Speaker 1: this default setting. Maybe this is who he is. People
- 9:42Speaker 1: are who they are. Like, we all wanted Brittany to
- 9:45Speaker 1: be that really polished pop star that we were sold
- 9:48Speaker 1: for a decade. It's not true. The Brittany that you
- 9:50Speaker 1: see on her Instagram is really the Brittany they sold
- 9:54Speaker 1: us a lie. And so maybe Justin is this guy.
- 9:57Speaker 1: Maybe he's a sloppy guy. Maybe we I know he
- 10:00Speaker 1: has struggles and certainly is sympathetic to those, but I
- 10:04Speaker 1: don't see this suddenly changing. But yeah, this one makes
- 10:10Speaker 1: me sad. Okay, moving he along. Over the weekend, there
- 10:13Speaker 1: was an absolute fire in the celebrity world that Kylie
- 10:17Speaker 1: Jenner and Timothy Chalomaie had broken up. Well, now I
- 10:22Speaker 1: have gotten to the bottom of it. Absolutely not. They
- 10:24Speaker 1: are still very very very much together, but they've pulled
- 10:28Speaker 1: back consciously. They've pulled back from the spotlight. So sources
- 10:32Speaker 1: are telling me they were just everywhere, they were very
- 10:34Speaker 1: very private. And then during the award season, remember they
- 10:36Speaker 1: kept popping up at events together. He wanted to share
- 10:38Speaker 1: that moment with obviously it's his girlfriend, but they've got
- 10:41Speaker 1: photographed together and now they've both realized and they've had
- 10:44Speaker 1: the hindsight here, they've had the vision of seeing what
- 10:47Speaker 1: it's done to her sister's marriages, which have not been
- 10:50Speaker 1: terribly successful. Let's be honest, and so Kylie, she's twenty
- 10:53Speaker 1: eight years old. She's super, super smart. They are proactively
- 10:57Speaker 1: pulling back now. He was recently in Budapest and she
- 10:59Speaker 1: went no pictures. Very smart. But they talk all the time,
- 11:03Speaker 1: they visit each other. They are still very much together,
- 11:05Speaker 1: and the fact that we're not seeing them together is
- 11:07Speaker 1: actually a good side wait that shows they want this
- 11:10Speaker 1: to work.
- 11:10Speaker 3: They can hang out without photos being taken.
- 11:13Speaker 1: It is possible. It is possible. Jennifer Anderson has been
- 11:16Speaker 1: doing this for years. Leave celebrities alone and like they're
- 11:21Speaker 1: standing outside the ivy in a bikini waving a flag,
- 11:24Speaker 1: like they want us to see them. If you want
- 11:26Speaker 1: to be private, you can, and these two have mastered
- 11:30Speaker 1: the art of that. They were private for a long time,
- 11:33Speaker 1: and certainly because he was up for so many awards,
- 11:36Speaker 1: they were popping up at all the award shows together.
- 11:38Speaker 1: But now that's not the case and he's gone back
- 11:40Speaker 1: to work and so.
- 11:41Speaker 4: Show it'll be interesting because basketball season here in the
- 11:44Speaker 4: US is getting started again, and we know Timothy is
- 11:47Speaker 4: a big basketball fan here in New York. So will
- 11:50Speaker 4: will we be seeing him more of a you know,
- 11:53Speaker 4: current role and with uh, you know, with Kylie courtside
- 11:57Speaker 4: more often than none.
- 11:58Speaker 3: You know, if he doesn't, the.
- 11:59Speaker 1: Must they broke up. They have not broke up. He
- 12:01Speaker 1: can't win here. He turns up with Kylie, will be
- 12:03Speaker 1: so excited. If he doesn't, will say they broken up.
- 12:05Speaker 1: They're together. I'm told these two are rock solid. And
- 12:08Speaker 1: once again she's seen what fame and press has done
- 12:11Speaker 1: to relationships within her family. Not great, not great? Okay,
- 12:15Speaker 1: Chrissy Teagan is back in the news with Courtney Stotton.
- 12:20Speaker 1: This story is so heartbreaking and it is not going away.
- 12:24Speaker 1: It keeps popping up. When Chrissy thinks it's over, it
- 12:27Speaker 1: pomps back up. Garrett, what's going on?
- 12:30Speaker 4: It's the story that comes back to haunt you pretty much.
- 12:33Speaker 4: So Startin revealed that she reached out to Chrissy Teagan
- 12:37Speaker 4: with a friendly Instagram DM, only to be completely ignored.
- 12:42Speaker 4: Now let's be real here, you know, sending a celebrity
- 12:45Speaker 4: a DM just as a normal person, the odds of
- 12:48Speaker 4: a celebrity responding are you might as well just play
- 12:51Speaker 4: the power ball and hope for the best, you know
- 12:53Speaker 4: what I mean, Like not like even an emoji will do.
- 12:56Speaker 4: But but that's not good enough for Core, you know
- 13:00Speaker 4: what I mean. So she was completely ignored Chrissy. Chrissy
- 13:05Speaker 4: is livid, not at the message itself, but pretty much
- 13:09Speaker 4: like she was. She was cornered into a place where
- 13:11Speaker 4: she can't win, you know what I mean. You know
- 13:14Speaker 4: she doesn't she first off, she's very I mean, she's
- 13:18Speaker 4: Chrissy freaking Teak, for God's sakes. So her dms alone
- 13:22Speaker 4: are just insane. So to respond to one specific person,
- 13:27Speaker 4: it just it just it just screams, I want attention
- 13:31Speaker 4: of you going out there and going Chrissy. Teagan didn't
- 13:34Speaker 4: respond to me, you know what. You know what Rob
- 13:37Speaker 4: shooter Elton John didn't respond to my you know what
- 13:39Speaker 4: I mean? And if she responds, she she then she
- 13:44Speaker 4: doubles down, like I'm sure Courtney would have been, like, oh,
- 13:47Speaker 4: Chrissy and I are best friends.
- 13:49Speaker 3: Now.
- 13:49Speaker 1: Look, I mean, the trouble is he if we get
- 13:52Speaker 1: back to the beginning, is that Chrissy picked with the
- 13:54Speaker 1: wrong person. Christy bullied to the wrong person. If you
- 13:57Speaker 1: bully a reality start there, get a run to the press.
- 13:59Speaker 1: If you your housewife, if you say anything to her housewife,
- 14:02Speaker 1: they're going to release that that that text. Let's be
- 14:04Speaker 1: honest here, Harry's done the same, Prince Harry. So it's
- 14:07Speaker 1: not just be list stars that do this. Harry tells
- 14:09Speaker 1: the stories to if you say something, if you write something,
- 14:11Speaker 1: it's there forever Chrissy picked on the wrong person. And
- 14:15Speaker 1: now Courtney a reality star who really was wrong to here.
- 14:18Speaker 1: Let's be clear, we are on Courtney's side as far
- 14:20Speaker 1: as bully and bully and is outrageous and some of
- 14:23Speaker 1: the things that Chrissy said were really ugly, like she
- 14:25Speaker 1: asked her to kill herself. Like Chrissy went way beyond
- 14:28Speaker 1: the pale. It wasn't funny, it wasn't witty, it was
- 14:31Speaker 1: just wrong. Now, Chrissy has apologized publicly, but she's not
- 14:35Speaker 1: apologized to Courtney. And I'm told she's in a really
- 14:37Speaker 1: tricky place. She knows that if she apologizes to Courtney
- 14:41Speaker 1: that that DM that phone call will be recorded, it
- 14:43Speaker 1: will be leaked, and she doesn't want that to happen.
- 14:46Speaker 1: But if she doesn't respond, then Courtney can still keep saying.
- 14:51Speaker 1: And Courtney's learned here, as most reality stars do if somebody,
- 14:56Speaker 1: wouldn't you get wouldn't you get the attention, wouldn't something works?
- 15:00Speaker 1: Keep doing it? Yep, And so often these celebrities will
- 15:03Speaker 1: wear bikinis and poof that paparazzi will be there and
- 15:05Speaker 1: take a picture. Courtney has learned that as long as
- 15:08Speaker 1: she keeps talking about Chrissy Teak and we're gonna still
- 15:10Speaker 1: be talking about Courtney. My fear is here though now
- 15:13Speaker 1: is we forgot the real issue here, which was bulliant
- 15:16Speaker 1: and what Chrissy did was wrong, and now this has
- 15:19Speaker 1: got a little bit murky. It's not good for Chrissy though,
- 15:22Speaker 1: And the reason it's popped back up is Chrissy's on
- 15:24Speaker 1: Meg and Markles cooking show, is on her Netflix show,
- 15:27Speaker 1: and so people asked Chrissy. They asked Courtney sorry what
- 15:31Speaker 1: she felt about Chrissy being on the show, and obviously
- 15:35Speaker 1: she had comments. She's back in the press, messy MESSI Chrissy,
- 15:38Speaker 1: if you're listening, Gala loa loo, you did this. I
- 15:41Speaker 1: got to say you did it, and I'm not sure
- 15:43Speaker 1: I have an answer of how you can fix it.
- 15:45Speaker 1: I don't know.
- 15:46Speaker 4: Yeah, well you know what, but I think you said
- 15:49Speaker 4: it like she did do a public apology, which again
- 15:53Speaker 4: it's almost like going out into the town square and
- 15:55Speaker 4: telling the whole world at that time, like, hey, I
- 15:58Speaker 4: apologize for like what more?
- 16:00Speaker 3: King?
- 16:01Speaker 1: And the behavior has changed, which to me is the
- 16:02Speaker 1: biggest apology. An apology without changing behaviors, non an apology.
- 16:06Speaker 1: Christy has stopped doing this on social media. Okay, we're
- 16:09Speaker 1: going to take a quick break and we'll be right back.
- 16:12Speaker 1: Welcome back to the Naughty but Nice on your host. Hey,
- 16:16Speaker 1: let's two poles. Last show, we talked about Harry and
- 16:21Speaker 1: Megan's much hyped Netflix renew at least more of a
- 16:24Speaker 1: pi PR stunt than a pay day. So they have
- 16:27Speaker 1: re signed a contract, but it's not one hundred million
- 16:29Speaker 1: dollar contract. In fact, it's a contract where they're paid
- 16:32Speaker 1: nothing unless they deliver. It's a first look contract. That's
- 16:36Speaker 1: what it's called in their business. So have you, personally
- 16:39Speaker 1: not them, have you ever hyped something to save face? Like,
- 16:43Speaker 1: have you ever just hyped something that's happened to you
- 16:46Speaker 1: just to save face? Yes, eighty percent. I think the
- 16:50Speaker 1: other the other twenty percent not quite telling the truth.
- 16:54Speaker 1: They're a little I'm really happy. I'm happier than ever
- 16:57Speaker 1: whenever you say that you're not happier than ever and
- 16:59Speaker 1: so to you, don't forget to.
- 17:03Speaker 3: Wait, you say that all the time.
- 17:05Speaker 2: I miserable. Don't forget to vote on today's Paul. Go
- 17:10Speaker 2: to Twitter page, Nice rob Facebook page is nobody Gossip.
- 17:14Speaker 2: I'm sure to check out tomorrow.
- 17:16Speaker 1: To hear your results are. Now it's time for a nicest.
- 17:22Speaker 2: Of the day.
- 17:24Speaker 4: Well, it's crazy to think that William and Kate and
- 17:27Speaker 4: the kids have been living in a cottage this whole time,
- 17:29Speaker 4: right like boo, Like that cottage is probably more expensive
- 17:34Speaker 4: than anything we could ever live and combined, you know
- 17:37Speaker 4: what I mean. But they've been there since twenty twenty two, obviously,
- 17:42Speaker 4: and uh now they're moving into their twenty one million
- 17:46Speaker 4: dollar forever home. You know. The move comes just one
- 17:51Speaker 4: year after Kate was diagnosed with cancer and now in remission.
- 17:57Speaker 4: She's looking for that you know, fresh start with the
- 17:59Speaker 4: whole family, obviously, and it's not just about space, it's
- 18:03Speaker 4: about making that new chapter. Yeah, one palace insider did
- 18:06Speaker 4: tell us, so, I mean, you pretty much know everybody
- 18:09Speaker 4: inside the palace.
- 18:11Speaker 1: That palace. They're so sweet. They're starting this brand new
- 18:13Speaker 1: home together. He's moving to a new school. It's a
- 18:16Speaker 1: beautiful home. It's still on the grounds of Windsor, so
- 18:18Speaker 1: it's very close to London. And I'm told this will
- 18:20Speaker 1: be their home and he's the King. They might stay there.
- 18:22Speaker 1: They don't want to move to book in a palace.
- 18:23Speaker 1: Now you are going to read some reports today that
- 18:26Speaker 1: people on the estate were forced out of their homes
- 18:29Speaker 1: because they want to make sure that security around this
- 18:32Speaker 1: new house. It's very very strict. But the nice part
- 18:35Speaker 1: of that that story is true. People were asked to
- 18:37Speaker 1: leave to two families. However, I am told that William
- 18:40Speaker 1: and Kate jumped in and said, if they're moving, we
- 18:43Speaker 1: need to upgrade their places.
- 18:45Speaker 3: Would you do it?
- 18:46Speaker 1: Actually go? Would you know if I was going to
- 18:48Speaker 1: kick my neighbor out of their apartment, I'd want to
- 18:50Speaker 1: make sure they've got a really nice apartment. I wouldn't
- 18:52Speaker 1: want to kick him on the street. So Harry and
- 18:53Speaker 1: Meghan said, like, listen, not Harry and Meghan. Oops, William
- 18:57Speaker 1: and Kate. William may wish. I know that William and
- 19:00Speaker 1: Kate jumped in to make sure they are just fine.
- 19:02Speaker 1: And this is the day and now I know what
- 19:04Speaker 1: he's told you. First Anderson Cooper and Jake Tappa at
- 19:08Speaker 1: CNN are not close. They are not friends. There's a
- 19:11Speaker 1: little bit of a cold war there, and we got
- 19:13Speaker 1: to see it on TV over the week end. So
- 19:17Speaker 1: Anderson was on and he threw to Jake, who didn't
- 19:21Speaker 1: realize his mic was hot, and Jake said, I'm fine,
- 19:25Speaker 1: just give me back my show. So what happened is
- 19:27Speaker 1: there was breaking news, all this stuff in Alaska with
- 19:31Speaker 1: with Vladimir Putin and President Trump. It cut into the news.
- 19:35Speaker 1: So if you had a regular time slot nine to ten,
- 19:37Speaker 1: ten to eleven, that was thrown out the window while
- 19:40Speaker 1: they just did the coverage from Alaska. Anderson was the
- 19:43Speaker 1: point person. Jake's nose got pushed out of the place
- 19:47Speaker 1: because he thought he was losing his show. But unfortunately
- 19:51Speaker 1: he said that on camera. That video is going to
- 19:54Speaker 1: exist forever with a moment of RABBI, wouldn't you you mature?
- 20:01Speaker 1: You realize silence is more important than proving your point.
- 20:05Speaker 1: Maturity teaches you that silence is not a weakness, it's
- 20:08Speaker 1: a strength. When I was younger, I would always have
- 20:11Speaker 1: to have the last word or I'd have to win
- 20:13Speaker 1: every single argument. But now I've realized that silence actually
- 20:17Speaker 1: protects my piece, It holds my dignity, and often it
- 20:20Speaker 1: says more words than I ever could. Once again, you
- 20:24Speaker 1: don't always have to prove a point. Silence walking away
- 20:29Speaker 1: is often the best answer. Hey, that is equal today.
- 20:33Speaker 1: Thank you so much for listening. They're not ey but nice.
- 20:35Speaker 1: I appreciate what and Garrett show, we do appreciate it.
- 20:38Speaker 1: We are a production of Elvis Duran and iHeartRadio. Don't
- 20:41Speaker 1: forget to subscribe on the iHeartRadio app podcast. Wherever you listen,
- 20:44Speaker 1: leave us a review if you can. They really do
- 20:46Speaker 1: help and remember altogether now to take care of everybody piece.
- 20:54Speaker 3: It's not even nice with Rah
