- 0:02Speaker 1: On scoring wields Australia.
- 0:05Speaker 2: This is the Reader Panety Show.
- 0:08Speaker 3: Good evening and welcome to the Reader Panny Show. Coming
- 0:11Speaker 3: up tonight an Australia Day backflip from a council after
- 0:15Speaker 3: a rate payer backlash. Professor Im Plimer will be here
- 0:19Speaker 3: to fact check the PM's renewables claims. Josh Hammer will
- 0:23Speaker 3: join me with the latest from the US, including some
- 0:25Speaker 3: fantastic poll numbers for Donald Trump, and later in the hour,
- 0:30Speaker 3: an Emmy Award winning actor and LGBTQ activist tells me
- 0:34Speaker 3: how he is now under attack in his own community
- 0:37Speaker 3: because he is Jewish and he never neglect left. He's
- 0:41Speaker 3: losing it. And tonight it stars Little Doom Goblin, Greha Thumberg.
- 0:46Speaker 3: Show me what how listen?
- 0:51Speaker 4: Show me what democracy listening.
- 0:53Speaker 3: Let's bring in the panel Senior writer for News Corp
- 0:57Speaker 3: Patrick Carlin and The Australians Media writer Ellsworth Gang will
- 1:02Speaker 3: start with the more deeming defamation case against Victorian Liberal
- 1:06Speaker 3: leader John Pursuto. Liberal MPs, we are told now were
- 1:11Speaker 3: inundated with messages from the public and according to Liberal
- 1:15Speaker 3: MP David Hodgett, around ninety seven percent of the messages
- 1:20Speaker 3: he received were supportive of more deeming and critical of
- 1:24Speaker 3: John Pursuto Patrick No surprises there could have told the
- 1:27Speaker 3: court that this move by Pursuito has not just been
- 1:31Speaker 3: enormously damaging, landing him in this court action, but also
- 1:36Speaker 3: the lack of political judgment political now is almost offensive.
- 1:42Speaker 5: Well, there shouldn't be an issue. I mean, it's essentially
- 1:45Speaker 5: a small story that should then put the bed internally
- 1:47Speaker 5: at some point, well before now we're having a court
- 1:50Speaker 5: case play out, we're having all these coalition politicians sort
- 1:54Speaker 5: of coming up and exposing the alleged sort of skulldugery
- 1:58Speaker 5: and chicanery of internal politics of this. This should have
- 2:02Speaker 5: gone away. I mean, the Allen government is in trouble.
- 2:06Speaker 5: It's Victoria's bankrupt at the moment. We've got all these
- 2:10Speaker 5: big projects that are putting us under pressure. We've got
- 2:13Speaker 5: cost them living. We've got the ideological thing with the
- 2:16Speaker 5: Allen government ministers. They should be in trouble. Why is
- 2:19Speaker 5: the Liberal Party having to deal with this or why
- 2:21Speaker 5: is it chosen to deal with this in such a
- 2:23Speaker 5: damaging way.
- 2:24Speaker 3: Well, can John Pursuito survive this, Sophie, whatever way this
- 2:29Speaker 3: court case goes, I just don't know. How you can
- 2:31Speaker 3: remain leader.
- 2:32Speaker 6: I think it's going to be hard for him rita
- 2:34Speaker 6: whichever way the case ends up. And surely the Liberal
- 2:39Speaker 6: Party in Victoria should be focused on fighting the state government,
- 2:43Speaker 6: not fighting themselves. As Patrick says, this was a story
- 2:46Speaker 6: that could have blown over in forty eight hours if
- 2:49Speaker 6: it was handled correctly. It was a story that could
- 2:51Speaker 6: have been killed.
- 2:52Speaker 3: It should have been a win for the Liberals. Here
- 2:54Speaker 3: you have a member of the first term MP, a
- 2:59Speaker 3: mum of four, who was physically assaulted that day by
- 3:03Speaker 3: these crazy left wing activists, and then she was blamed
- 3:07Speaker 3: for these neo Nazis who gate crash their protests by
- 3:10Speaker 3: Dad Andrews. Dan Andrews went for her very strongly. John
- 3:15Speaker 3: Pursuito could have had a win by sticking up for
- 3:18Speaker 3: his MP, sticking up for women's rights, saying she shouldn't
- 3:21Speaker 3: be blamed for the actions of these disgusting men who
- 3:23Speaker 3: gate crash the event. But no, he decided he was
- 3:26Speaker 3: going to be tougher on her than Dan Andrews was.
- 3:29Speaker 3: And here we have this deformation action and I'm looking
- 3:32Speaker 3: at the names of some of these lawyers. This is
- 3:34Speaker 3: going to be very expensive.
- 3:35Speaker 6: Sophie it is going to be very expensive reacha I've
- 3:37Speaker 6: heard it could be as much as up to four
- 3:40Speaker 6: million dollars. This entire thing, and also just the images
- 3:44Speaker 6: that are going through the media like Moi Redeem Deeming
- 3:47Speaker 6: arriving at court each day, as you said, a mom
- 3:50Speaker 6: of four on her own, and there's John Pursuito arriving
- 3:53Speaker 6: every day hand in hand with his wife. This is
- 3:56Speaker 6: a shocking look for the Victorian Liberal Party and and
- 4:00Speaker 6: all their ins and outs, all their private conversations are
- 4:02Speaker 6: now being laid out for the public to see.
- 4:05Speaker 3: And the former Treasurer made some very interesting comments in quarter.
- 4:09Speaker 3: We don't have time to get to those. Let's move
- 4:12Speaker 3: on to the Albanezy government so called misinformation disinformation legislation.
- 4:17Speaker 3: It's going to be a major issue in the next
- 4:19Speaker 3: federal election. Daily telegraphs Tim Blair has had his own
- 4:23Speaker 3: take on this issue. Here argued, instead of using these
- 4:27Speaker 3: new laws to counter dangerous misinformation and disinformation, the alban
- 4:30Speaker 3: Easy government should try a simpler and much less expensive approach.
- 4:34Speaker 3: It should sack itself, after all, being among the nation's
- 4:38Speaker 3: larger sources of miss and disinfo, Albo and Co shurely
- 4:42Speaker 3: must just up and go. Patrick Albert and co. Are
- 4:46Speaker 3: guilty of spreading plenty of misinformation. Was only last week
- 4:51Speaker 3: that the Prime Minister copped an embarrassing fact check on x.
- 4:56Speaker 3: It's not isolated these laws are they had bad news.
- 5:01Speaker 3: The legislation in its current form is orwelling in Oh.
- 5:05Speaker 5: Absolutely. I mean every government, including the Albanesi government, lies
- 5:09Speaker 5: to try and win a point of view. We've seen
- 5:12Speaker 5: that with energy prices with the Albanesi government. You look
- 5:15Speaker 5: in America, Joe Biden, Carnala Harris have all been caught out.
- 5:19Speaker 5: And this is politics. It is a lot of it
- 5:21Speaker 5: is misinformation. It's about sort of spreading untruths. If you like,
- 5:26Speaker 5: who's the arbiter of what is misinformation? Who's going to
- 5:29Speaker 5: say this is the.
- 5:30Speaker 3: Lefty bureaucrats that are points will be the arbiters. And
- 5:33Speaker 3: that is scary as you say it is, and it's
- 5:36Speaker 3: going to impact everyday people us in the media, academia,
- 5:42Speaker 3: people and positions of influence aren't included in this sofa,
- 5:46Speaker 3: but the average person is. And of course we're going
- 5:49Speaker 3: to have cost of leaving immigration being top line issues
- 5:52Speaker 3: at the next federal polar But I think free speech
- 5:54Speaker 3: is also going to be on the ballot.
- 5:56Speaker 6: Absolutely, Rechel and Patrick is dead right with that. Who
- 5:59Speaker 6: is the arbiter, Who who is the cop who just
- 6:01Speaker 6: the social media cop who says this is okay and
- 6:04Speaker 6: this is not okay? And that's where I think why
- 6:07Speaker 6: some of this might be set out to do the
- 6:09Speaker 6: right thing.
- 6:10Speaker 3: It can be incredibly.
- 6:11Speaker 6: Dangerous when someone doesn't agree with a view they say, right,
- 6:15Speaker 6: that's misinformation or disinformation and just stamp it out.
- 6:19Speaker 3: And I think that is concerning. Now let's go to
- 6:22Speaker 3: South Australia, the city of Umley. Am I pronouncing that right?
- 6:25Speaker 7: So?
- 6:25Speaker 3: Well well done? They have decided to keep Australia Day
- 6:30Speaker 3: on Australia Day. How quaint. This is a backflip after
- 6:34Speaker 3: there was a backlash from rate payers. A community survey
- 6:37Speaker 3: show just over sixty percent of rate payers want to
- 6:39Speaker 3: celebrate Australia Day on January twenty sixth, not another data
- 6:44Speaker 3: as the council was proposing. The only surprise here, Patrick,
- 6:48Speaker 3: is that the council actually listened to the rate payers.
- 6:50Speaker 3: This is again quaint.
- 6:52Speaker 5: That's unheard or isn't it. You hear all these councils
- 6:55Speaker 5: talking about this is what our electors want. This is
- 6:58Speaker 5: what the council people want. It's not truly you said,
- 7:02Speaker 5: look at some of these surveys and say, hang on,
- 7:04Speaker 5: that's just not right. That doesn't tell you with everyday opinion.
- 7:09Speaker 5: This is great that they had a survey six and
- 7:11Speaker 5: ten said this and they said all right, we'll go
- 7:13Speaker 5: back to it because six and ten that's what the
- 7:15Speaker 5: majority want and from most people Australia is not this
- 7:19Speaker 5: divisive thing. It's just, you know, it's a nice day
- 7:21Speaker 5: where new citizens get to celebrate that in Australia.
- 7:24Speaker 3: And the fact that you've still got in this inner
- 7:27Speaker 3: city affluent area six in ten saying keep it on
- 7:30Speaker 3: January twenty sixth I think is almost a miracle because
- 7:33Speaker 3: we've had Sophie just a barrage of bad stories and
- 7:40Speaker 3: ill will in the media suggesting this is a harmful day,
- 7:45Speaker 3: that this day to be celebrating it is akin to
- 7:48Speaker 3: celebrating genocide and white supremacy. We've had that narrative now
- 7:52Speaker 3: for so many years.
- 7:54Speaker 6: That's right, Racha, and look only is in a very lovely,
- 7:58Speaker 6: prestigious pocket of Adelaide. So there will be people critical
- 8:02Speaker 6: that the rape payers had a majority of view there.
- 8:04Speaker 6: But I actually think it's good that for once the
- 8:07Speaker 6: Council went Okay, this is what they think, let's go
- 8:10Speaker 6: back to the drawing board and let's reinstall what we're
- 8:13Speaker 6: originally going to do.
- 8:15Speaker 3: And I think you're right. Australia Day.
- 8:18Speaker 6: We hear a lot of noise from minority groups about this,
- 8:22Speaker 6: when I think a lot of Australians are just happy
- 8:25Speaker 6: to celebrate this great country.
- 8:27Speaker 3: And most of the minority groups were against Australia Day.
- 8:31Speaker 3: Let's be clear. Australian born, affluent, inner city types. They're
- 8:36Speaker 3: the ones who are, you know, the till seats, the
- 8:39Speaker 3: green seats as well. Now the Browlow Metal was on
- 8:43Speaker 3: last night. I didn't watch it because I don't like
- 8:46Speaker 3: being bored, but but you two were glued to the television.
- 8:50Speaker 3: Carlton's Patrick Cripps won the competitions Best in Ferres with
- 8:54Speaker 3: a record breaking forty five votes. Nick Dekos from Collingwood
- 8:58Speaker 3: was runner up and he also broke the record. But
- 9:02Speaker 3: the night wasn't with our controversy, Patrick, the Brownlow voting
- 9:06Speaker 3: system is under scrutiny again given the manner in this
- 9:11Speaker 3: the way this record was broken, is it still relevant
- 9:15Speaker 3: to the brownlow.
- 9:16Speaker 5: Oh look, I think it's definitely still relevant, if only
- 9:18Speaker 5: for the nice dresses.
- 9:20Speaker 3: Nice stress.
- 9:21Speaker 5: But look, you do have two very dominant players in
- 9:25Speaker 5: Crips and Decos. You've got to feel very sorry for
- 9:27Speaker 5: Nick Dacos. They are the kind of player, the style
- 9:29Speaker 5: of player who do attract umpires.
- 9:32Speaker 3: Vote. It's a midfielders award, isn't it it is?
- 9:34Speaker 5: I look at poor old Marcus Bontempelli from the Western Bulldogs.
- 9:38Speaker 5: He's one of the best players by mile in the
- 9:40Speaker 5: competition and he can't get more than twenty votes.
- 9:43Speaker 3: But he won the afl PA Award. But I think
- 9:46Speaker 3: so is so did. Did the right man win? Was
- 9:49Speaker 3: Nick Dakos robbed We'll reach it.
- 9:52Speaker 6: I'm biased here, I'm a Carton girl, and I was.
- 9:54Speaker 3: Really thrilled Patrick. I loved his speech.
- 9:58Speaker 6: I love that he grew up on a sheep and
- 10:00Speaker 6: wheat farm, and I just think he's a great role model.
- 10:04Speaker 6: And let's hope he wins a third one.
- 10:06Speaker 3: Okay, So I should have known not to ask you,
- 10:10Speaker 3: because that was always the response I was going to get. Now,
- 10:13Speaker 3: Italian Prime Minister Georgia Maloney has had a massive win
- 10:17Speaker 3: on the illegal immigration front, She's recorded a sixty four
- 10:22Speaker 3: percent drop in unlawful entries despite heavy criticism from the
- 10:26Speaker 3: establishment and from the EU. Patrick remember when we were
- 10:30Speaker 3: told she was this far right Zalat, a fascist, dangerous,
- 10:35Speaker 3: she would plunge Italy into crisis. Turns out she is
- 10:39Speaker 3: actually pretty effective and according to polls, the most or
- 10:42Speaker 3: one of the most popular leaders in Europe.
- 10:45Speaker 5: Absolutely. And look, you had British Prime Minister Keith Stamer
- 10:48Speaker 5: go go and visit her to find out how do
- 10:51Speaker 5: you do this. There's a big immigration problem for Europe
- 10:56Speaker 5: and Britain, especially those numbers. You look at those numbers,
- 11:00Speaker 5: you're talking tens of thousands, You're talking lots of deaths.
- 11:04Speaker 5: In need a solution, You need something that works. And
- 11:06Speaker 5: this is actually worked in Italy remarkably well. Look in
- 11:10Speaker 5: the stats. What are they doing that the world should
- 11:13Speaker 5: be copying it?
- 11:14Speaker 3: Absolutely, and so on the media angle. I remember when
- 11:18Speaker 3: she did win, the coverage was unhinged, hyperbly on steroids.
- 11:25Speaker 3: She was called a fascist. I wasn't kidding there. And
- 11:29Speaker 3: has there been any sort of retractions and maybe we
- 11:32Speaker 3: got it wrong. I haven't seen that in the Australian media.
- 11:35Speaker 8: No, not really reached her.
- 11:37Speaker 6: I can't say we have seen that, but actions speak
- 11:40Speaker 6: louder than words, and she seems to be doing good
- 11:43Speaker 6: job and point in cases exactly what you've just discussed
- 11:46Speaker 6: with those immigration numbers. So I think her critics need
- 11:50Speaker 6: to perhaps sit back and see that the work that
- 11:53Speaker 6: she is doing is obviously resonating and it is working.
- 11:56Speaker 6: And it is Patrick unusual to have an Italian leader
- 12:00Speaker 6: stay in power this long. They've got a rather chaotic
- 12:05Speaker 6: history of knifing their leaders. But she's there, and she's
- 12:09Speaker 6: popular and so far effective. Sophie Patrick, thank you so
- 12:12Speaker 6: much for your time this evening. Now, today the Prime
- 12:15Speaker 6: Minister was in Western Australia boasting about renewable projects, and
- 12:19Speaker 6: you had this question for Opposition leader Peter Dutton.
- 12:23Speaker 9: Peter Dutton's nuclear plan, which yesterday he gave a speech
- 12:26Speaker 9: on and which had no costings, no detail. Peter Dutton
- 12:31Speaker 9: will be here in the West, I understand later this week.
- 12:34Speaker 9: I wonder if he visits Collie to have a look
- 12:37Speaker 9: at the site there at Collie where you have a
- 12:41Speaker 9: battery being built that will store enough energy to power
- 12:44Speaker 9: eight hundred and sixty thousand homes.
- 12:48Speaker 3: Joining me now is leading geologist and author Prophessy and
- 12:51Speaker 3: Plymer Professor Plymer. How reliable is battery storage battery backup?
- 12:59Speaker 3: The PM mentioned there that'll supply eight hundred and sixty
- 13:02Speaker 3: thousand homes, but do we know for how long?
- 13:06Speaker 10: Well, he's criticizing mister Dutton for not costing out nuclear,
- 13:12Speaker 10: bearing in mind that there are thirty three countries in
- 13:15Speaker 10: the world that have nuclear There are four hundred and
- 13:17Speaker 10: forty reactors around the world, and countries smaller than US
- 13:21Speaker 10: countries like Croatia have nineteen reactors.
- 13:23Speaker 3: So.
- 13:25Speaker 8: It doesn't start from a good foundation. He tells us
- 13:29Speaker 8: that there's these batteries at Collie, a coal mining town,
- 13:33Speaker 8: would provide energy for eight hundred and sixty homes. That
- 13:36Speaker 8: is quite correct if every home only has a few
- 13:40Speaker 8: minutes of energy, So eight hundred and sixty thousand homes
- 13:44Speaker 8: for a few minutes, that's a very very big battery.
- 13:47Speaker 8: So he's just missing out on the critical detail that
- 13:51Speaker 8: these batteries are totally absolutely useless, and some jurisdiction in
- 13:56Speaker 8: Australia have got rid of these batteries, like South Australia
- 14:00Speaker 8: has had diesel backup for the batteries. Tasmania has diesel backup.
- 14:05Speaker 8: So hidden behind all of the bluster is reality, and
- 14:09Speaker 8: the reality is that Australia has yet to launch itself
- 14:14Speaker 8: into the nineteen fifties and become a nuclear nation.
- 14:20Speaker 3: Now. The Australian Pipelines and Gas Association and Master Plumbers
- 14:25Speaker 3: have joined forces to campaign against the just Into Allen
- 14:28Speaker 3: government here in Victoria and their natural gas misinformation. It's
- 14:33Speaker 3: a push to ban new gas installations. Your Home, Your
- 14:39Speaker 3: Choice campaign is going to be targeting up to fifty
- 14:43Speaker 3: thousand voters per week and it aims to educate people
- 14:47Speaker 3: in on the truth behind just Into Alan's gas legislation.
- 14:52Speaker 3: The Victorian government claims that these proposed changes with gas
- 14:57Speaker 3: are for the good of the Victorian people. Spokesperson said,
- 15:01Speaker 3: while the gas lobby are focused on lifting their profits,
- 15:04Speaker 3: we are focused on your power bill. That's odd because
- 15:09Speaker 3: my bills have never been higher and whatever they're doing
- 15:12Speaker 3: isn't working well.
- 15:16Speaker 8: The gas crisis has been a couple of decades in
- 15:19Speaker 8: the making, and it's been a couple of decades of
- 15:22Speaker 8: bureaucratic and government absolute total mismanagement in Victoria's now coming
- 15:27Speaker 8: to a crisis because the gas from Bass Strait is
- 15:30Speaker 8: starting to run out, and they have totally ignored the
- 15:33Speaker 8: onshore gas. Onshore from Bass Straight, we have exactly the
- 15:37Speaker 8: same rocks. They contain oil, they contain gas. It's been
- 15:41Speaker 8: known for a very long period of time. So they've
- 15:43Speaker 8: ignored great supplies of gas in Victoria. They are trying
- 15:49Speaker 8: to evolve by telling you what method you're going to
- 15:54Speaker 8: use for cooking. You talk to any chef. They're not
- 15:58Speaker 8: going to cook on electricity. They will cook on gas.
- 16:01Speaker 8: And what they're trying to do is to blame the companies,
- 16:07Speaker 8: blame someone else for the mess that they've created. Now,
- 16:10Speaker 8: this mess was not only created by Labor. The Nationals
- 16:13Speaker 8: in Dipsland led the move against onshore exploration, followed by
- 16:19Speaker 8: the Libs and then the Labor Party really hit it home.
- 16:22Speaker 8: But there's plenty of gas in western Victoria in the
- 16:26Speaker 8: Outway basin. There's plenty of gas on shore in the
- 16:29Speaker 8: gif Plan basin. There are the same rocks that extend
- 16:34Speaker 8: across into South Australia and they have gas in them,
- 16:37Speaker 8: and that gas is being used. Just because across the
- 16:41Speaker 8: political border doesn't mean the geology changes. So what is
- 16:45Speaker 8: being fed to the public is absolutely demonstrably untrue. And
- 16:51Speaker 8: this has been happening for a long period of time,
- 16:53Speaker 8: so I'm not surprised that ultimately the pipeline organizations want
- 16:58Speaker 8: to say, well, folks, that isn't this is the reality.
- 17:04Speaker 3: Well, the Victorian government has backtracked a little bit because
- 17:08Speaker 3: they've seen this backlash to gas cook tops, so they've
- 17:13Speaker 3: said you can keep your gas cooktop, hospitality can keep it.
- 17:17Speaker 3: But these new estates there is no gas connection, so
- 17:21Speaker 3: you can't have a gas cooktop without a gas connection
- 17:24Speaker 3: before you go in the opposition leader's nuclear plan will
- 17:29Speaker 3: involve gas and coal for at least twelve years. The
- 17:34Speaker 3: left has seized upon this detail as a weakness. They
- 17:38Speaker 3: argue most of these coal fired plans are going to
- 17:41Speaker 3: be closed by twenty thirty five. Is this a major
- 17:44Speaker 3: flaw in the coalition's nuclear plan, this reliance on gas
- 17:48Speaker 3: and coal for at least twelve years.
- 17:51Speaker 8: Well, this is common sense to have energy security and
- 17:55Speaker 8: have energy from hydro, to have energy from gas, to
- 17:57Speaker 8: have energy from coal, to have energy from clear and
- 18:01Speaker 8: small amounts of energy from wind and solar. So you're
- 18:06Speaker 8: not going to put all your eggs into one basket,
- 18:08Speaker 8: which the government wants us to do. They want us
- 18:11Speaker 8: to have all of our energy coming from sea breezes
- 18:14Speaker 8: and sunbeams. Now, we don't get energy twenty four to
- 18:17Speaker 8: seven using these methods of generating electricity. You need backup.
- 18:23Speaker 8: We've seen before in drought that we had a lack
- 18:27Speaker 8: of water for cooling some of the cold fired power stations,
- 18:30Speaker 8: so we needed gas. So you need a lot and
- 18:34Speaker 8: that gives you energy security. We currently don't have energy security.
- 18:41Speaker 3: We don't and we're becoming increasingly reliant on China for renewables,
- 18:47Speaker 3: for solar panels and windmills. And yeah, it's not just
- 18:53Speaker 3: energy security, it's national security that becomes an issue as well,
- 18:57Speaker 3: Professie Climer, thank you so much for your time. Evening
- 19:00Speaker 3: still to come, and Lefties losing a plass. Josh Hammer
- 19:04Speaker 3: joins me with the latest from the US, including some
- 19:07Speaker 3: promising news for Donald Trump. Welcome back. Now it's time
- 19:15Speaker 3: for lefties losing it. Remember that angry little doom goblin
- 19:20Speaker 3: Gritteth Thunberg, Well, she appears to have lost interest in
- 19:23Speaker 3: being a full time climate cultist. Now her main objective
- 19:27Speaker 3: is to be a cafe wearing anti Israel troll. Let's
- 19:31Speaker 3: listen to her chant stupid stuff written on her phone.
- 19:34Speaker 3: Me what the people looks like?
- 19:39Speaker 4: Show me what pot, Show me what democracy looks like.
- 19:48Speaker 4: Show me what democracy looks like. Show me what the
- 19:54Speaker 4: people looks like.
- 19:58Speaker 9: Show me what po.
- 20:00Speaker 3: That's talking about power for a global warming alarmist. There
- 20:07Speaker 3: is a lot of fossil fuels in use right there,
- 20:09Speaker 3: from the phone to the megaphone to the diesel generator
- 20:12Speaker 3: on the back of that ute. Let's see if Greta
- 20:15Speaker 3: can weave in some climate alarmism into her chance.
- 20:19Speaker 11: One good, oh my justice, human rights, one.
- 20:30Speaker 4: Struggle, one good, climate justice, human.
- 20:33Speaker 3: Rights, one struggle, one fired, climate justice, human rights genius.
- 20:38Speaker 3: That's that intersectional dementedness that the left have embraced. It's
- 20:42Speaker 3: all just an anti West, neo Marxist ideology. The issue
- 20:47Speaker 3: is never really the issue. And it's been a while
- 20:50Speaker 3: since we heard from transactivist still in Mulvania. I wonder
- 20:54Speaker 3: what is up to My pronouns are us a?
- 21:00Speaker 12: Pronouns?
- 21:00Speaker 8: Are usaid?
- 21:02Speaker 3: How about it? Okay, let's move on. Time to check
- 21:06Speaker 3: in with the leader of the free world. Here is
- 21:09Speaker 3: President Joe Biden struggling at the Quad address this week.
- 21:13Speaker 3: There were only three other leaders on stage with him,
- 21:16Speaker 3: and he still didn't know who to introduce or what
- 21:20Speaker 3: was going to happen next. This is this is a
- 21:22Speaker 3: little sad.
- 21:23Speaker 13: So I want to thank you all for being here,
- 21:26Speaker 13: and now who am I introduce you next?
- 21:32Speaker 1: Who's next, distinguished guests, the Prime Minister of the Republic
- 21:43Speaker 1: of India.
- 21:44Speaker 3: Meanwhile, the woman who replaced him as the Democrat's presidential
- 21:48Speaker 3: candidate is seeking another debate with Trump, who she seems
- 21:52Speaker 3: to think was once vice president. Well, you have me
- 21:55Speaker 3: here and I would like another debate.
- 21:57Speaker 7: So I loving a former vice PRESI well at that.
- 22:01Speaker 3: But we have a lot more than the scut No,
- 22:03Speaker 3: he was never vice president. That's you try to keep up. Now,
- 22:07Speaker 3: must admit I have no idea who this next gal is,
- 22:11Speaker 3: but apparently she's a pop star for deaf people. Hailey
- 22:15Speaker 3: Williams one applause from Left US for launching into an impassioned,
- 22:19Speaker 3: impromptu anti Trump brant during the twenty twenty four iHeartRadio
- 22:24Speaker 3: Music Festival last week. Have a look at this mad
- 22:28Speaker 3: fact Free Die Tribe.
- 22:31Speaker 11: Project twenty twenty five is Donald Trump's play for the
- 22:35Speaker 11: trolling and punishing.
- 22:36Speaker 3: Women, color people, people of color and the LGBTQ plus community.
- 22:43Speaker 3: It's time for all Americans.
- 22:45Speaker 4: To band together and to finally defeat the Trump agenda.
- 22:50Speaker 3: And I want to do that.
- 22:53Speaker 11: Him have the pulse do you want of ships show?
- 23:02Speaker 3: But it turns out the lies she spewed there about
- 23:05Speaker 3: Trump and Project twenty twenty five we're not impromptu at all.
- 23:10Speaker 3: She was reading from a script held up by one
- 23:13Speaker 3: of her staff. Gosh, you think she could just lie
- 23:17Speaker 3: from the hearsh This is disappointing now to a couple
- 23:20Speaker 3: of joyful tolerance lefties triggered by the question what is
- 23:25Speaker 3: a woman?
- 23:25Speaker 2: What is a woman?
- 23:34Speaker 3: Can you tell me what a woman is?
- 23:36Speaker 2: Because clearly you're really confused, and that's okay, it's okay
- 23:40Speaker 2: to be confused. Well, that's yeah, I'm confused. That's why
- 23:44Speaker 2: i'm asking. Okay, So if you were to define it,
- 23:46Speaker 2: what would it?
- 23:51Speaker 3: I'm really sorry for the loss of your brain cells.
- 23:56Speaker 2: You can't even define what a woman is, and you're
- 23:58Speaker 2: saying I've lost brain cells when he's asking, idiot.
- 24:05Speaker 3: And while we are triggering lefties, here is the astute
- 24:08Speaker 3: Jason L. Riley dropping some hard facts about the Obama
- 24:13Speaker 3: and Trump errors and black prosperity.
- 24:16Speaker 7: You have to realize how bad things got, particularly for
- 24:19Speaker 7: blacks under the Obama presidency. Economically, unemployment, which never reached
- 24:24Speaker 7: double digits for whites under Obama, did not fall below
- 24:28Speaker 7: double digits for blacks until the third month of Obama's
- 24:32Speaker 7: seventh year in office. Under Trump, black unemployment fell to
- 24:36Speaker 7: fifty year lows. Black poverty fell to ats lowest level
- 24:40Speaker 7: on record. You saw black wages rising at more than
- 24:44Speaker 7: fifteen percent among blacks, but only eleven percent among whites.
- 24:49Speaker 7: May not seem like a lot, but that's a thirty
- 24:51Speaker 7: six percent difference. That is not just a continuation of
- 24:55Speaker 7: something that was happening under Obama, as some people like
- 24:58Speaker 7: to dismiss it. It was an acceleration for the lowest
- 25:02Speaker 7: income earners in this country. They're wages under the first
- 25:05Speaker 7: three years of the Trump administration grew at more than
- 25:09Speaker 7: double the rate during Obama's second term. This was an acceleration.
- 25:14Speaker 3: I'm going to have plenty more lefties losing it content
- 25:17Speaker 3: with my next guest, including more of the real Kamala,
- 25:21Speaker 3: you know, the one who has been the borders are,
- 25:23Speaker 3: who's overseen record numbers come in illegally through that southern
- 25:28Speaker 3: border and also implemented programs to allow millions more to stay.
- 25:32Speaker 3: She now wants you to believe she's tough on borders.
- 25:35Speaker 3: She even said she believes in a wall now. But
- 25:38Speaker 3: here she is in twenty eighteen leading a chant calling
- 25:42Speaker 3: for an end to deportations. Enough of that place, Let's
- 26:07Speaker 3: cross to Flora and now to speak to Newsweeks Seniors
- 26:10Speaker 3: are at large and Senior Council for the Article three project,
- 26:14Speaker 3: Josh Hammer, Josha, Let me guess she's changed her position
- 26:18Speaker 3: on that too, though she tells us she hasn't changed
- 26:21Speaker 3: her values. Is anyone still buying this boloney?
- 26:26Speaker 14: Well, what are Kamala Harris's values? I'm not sure that
- 26:29Speaker 14: she would be able to identify it if she were
- 26:31Speaker 14: asked that point, Blake in an interview, in an interview,
- 26:34Speaker 14: by the way, where she happens to not be given
- 26:36Speaker 14: me because she is still not given a foalsome sit
- 26:39Speaker 14: down interview since she bloodlessly could her purported boss Joe
- 26:42Speaker 14: Biden back in July. You know, Trump has been a
- 26:45Speaker 14: time struggling to try to land a go to nickname
- 26:49Speaker 14: for Kamala Harris. He has his trademark nicknames. There was
- 26:51Speaker 14: of course Little Marco and lion Ted Cruz in twenty
- 26:55Speaker 14: sixteen and all of that.
- 26:57Speaker 8: You know.
- 26:57Speaker 14: I mean, some people think that it should be coming
- 27:00Speaker 14: law because she's pretty communist leaning, you might say, I mean,
- 27:03Speaker 14: I think another alternate possibility might be Camellia law, because.
- 27:07Speaker 12: She's a chameleon.
- 27:08Speaker 14: I mean, she uses a total chamellion. I mean, something
- 27:10Speaker 14: that she says in twenty eighteen or twenty nineteen, twenty twenty,
- 27:13Speaker 14: who knows if she's gonna believe it tomorrow, to say
- 27:16Speaker 14: nothing about three to four or five years from now,
- 27:18Speaker 14: you know. Looking at the electoral college map, I actually
- 27:20Speaker 14: was playing around with my map earlier today, kind of
- 27:22Speaker 14: doing some different alternative scenarios. It's really gonna come down
- 27:26Speaker 14: to Pennsylvania. Pennsylvania, in my opinion, is really the number
- 27:28Speaker 14: one battleground to say of this November. Are the voters
- 27:31Speaker 14: in Pennsylvania when they are informed that Kamala Harris supported
- 27:35Speaker 14: a full ban on fracking oil and natural gas as
- 27:38Speaker 14: recently as twenty and twenty, how are they going to
- 27:40Speaker 14: react to that? I mean, she could pretend like she
- 27:42Speaker 14: didn't mean it. She could pretend like she olds a
- 27:44Speaker 14: different position now. But How are you possibly supposed to
- 27:47Speaker 14: believe her, especially when she refuses to sit down for
- 27:50Speaker 14: an actual interview with any interviewer across the entire spectrum,
- 27:54Speaker 14: even a friend the interview.
- 27:57Speaker 3: Now you mentioned Pennsylvania, don'tbald. Trump's going to be back there.
- 28:01Speaker 3: He's going to the site of the first attempt on
- 28:04Speaker 3: his life for a bullet nicked his ear after a
- 28:07Speaker 3: last millisecond head turn saved his life. It's just still
- 28:11Speaker 3: incredible to think about. He's going to be holding another
- 28:14Speaker 3: rally in Butler, Pennsylvania, on October five, and Democrat Senator
- 28:19Speaker 3: for Pennsylvania John Fetterman has said there's growing enthusiasm for
- 28:24Speaker 3: Trump in the Keystone State.
- 28:26Speaker 13: And I never agreed with our approach talking about that
- 28:29Speaker 13: he's a convicted felon. It's not going to have any
- 28:32Speaker 13: impact on that. It's like what's left. He's been impeached
- 28:35Speaker 13: twice now, it's been two attempted assassinations, one where a
- 28:41Speaker 13: bullet actually actually hit him. There's energy and there's kinds
- 28:45Speaker 13: of anger on the ground in Pennsylvania and people are
- 28:50Speaker 13: very committed and strunk. Trump is going to be strong.
- 28:55Speaker 3: So much is riding on the critical swing state of pencil.
- 29:00Speaker 3: And I think it's very clever for Trump to return
- 29:03Speaker 3: to the scene of that first assassination attempt because a
- 29:06Speaker 3: maidis tried to memory that whole incident.
- 29:10Speaker 14: Yes, so, first of all, a brilliant move by Donald Trump,
- 29:14Speaker 14: utterly brilliant to return to Butler, Pennsylvania. He actually was
- 29:17Speaker 14: in Pennsylvania over the past twenty four hours, well in Indiana, Pennsylvania,
- 29:21Speaker 14: a town called Indiana, not to be confused the state,
- 29:23Speaker 14: but to go back to the actual scene of when
- 29:26Speaker 14: he was literally millimeters I mean sentimiters are most probably
- 29:30Speaker 14: millimeters away from having his life just taken away from
- 29:33Speaker 14: us on the world stage. To go back there in
- 29:36Speaker 14: a triumphant return is a is a brilliant political tactic.
- 29:41Speaker 14: I mean, this is the kind of tactic that wins
- 29:42Speaker 14: Trump all sorts of new converts, new fans there because
- 29:46Speaker 14: they see someone who have the courage to get up
- 29:48Speaker 14: there after his brush with death. The angel of death
- 29:51Speaker 14: is hovering at that point inches above his head. He
- 29:54Speaker 14: gets up there, and he has that iconic photo, that
- 29:57Speaker 14: historic world iconic photo with the raised f pump. To
- 30:00Speaker 14: go back there, hopefully he imitates that scene. Hopefully he
- 30:03Speaker 14: tries his best to recapture that exact scene where he's
- 30:06Speaker 14: raising the fist there. It's a brilliant move. But you know,
- 30:10Speaker 14: speaking of John Fetterman, give credit where credit is due.
- 30:12Speaker 14: John Fetnerman once again is one of the more rational
- 30:14Speaker 14: Democrats out there. Not necessarily a particularly high bar of
- 30:17Speaker 14: these days, but John Fetterman, who has been very sober
- 30:20Speaker 14: actually when it comes to the conflict in the Middle
- 30:22Speaker 14: least compared with the rest of his party. He sounds
- 30:24Speaker 14: very sober here as well, saying that the whole convicted
- 30:26Speaker 14: fellon threat to democracy thing.
- 30:29Speaker 3: It's not playing.
- 30:30Speaker 14: No one cares. And the reason that the threat to
- 30:32Speaker 14: democracy thing, by the way, Rita is not playing is
- 30:34Speaker 14: because there is one party in America right now that
- 30:37Speaker 14: is literally trying to toss the opponent in jail. It's
- 30:40Speaker 14: not the Republican Party. It is the Party of Biden
- 30:43Speaker 14: Harris and the Democratic Party. So that you know that
- 30:45Speaker 14: dog won't hunt, as they say in the South and whatnot. There,
- 30:49Speaker 14: they're gonna have to be Trump on the actual issues.
- 30:52Speaker 14: The problem, to get back to what we were just
- 30:53Speaker 14: saying a few minutes ago, is that they can't talk
- 30:55Speaker 14: about the issues because they have a candidate who doesn't
- 30:57Speaker 14: know what she stands for and is changing her purportance
- 31:00Speaker 14: stands every single day ending in white.
- 31:04Speaker 3: Oh gosh, projection is all the left have these days.
- 31:09Speaker 3: Accuse your opponents of what you yourself are guilty of,
- 31:12Speaker 3: and that we see that over and over again, and
- 31:15Speaker 3: not just in the US. But I wonder if the
- 31:17Speaker 3: honeymoon is finally over for Kamala Harris. A new poll
- 31:21Speaker 3: from the New York Times Senate College shows a Trump
- 31:24Speaker 3: winning in the battleground states of the Sun Belt. He
- 31:28Speaker 3: leads Harris in Arizona fifty forty five. In Georgia, the
- 31:33Speaker 3: margin is four percent, forty nine to forty five, and
- 31:36Speaker 3: in North Carolina, Trump is ahead forty nine to forty seven.
- 31:40Speaker 3: And we know, Josh that historically his numbers are understated.
- 31:46Speaker 3: There's just a shyness factor when it comes to people
- 31:49Speaker 3: telling polsters that they're going to be voting for Donald
- 31:52Speaker 3: Trump totally.
- 31:54Speaker 14: So you know, in New York Times, Sienna considered one
- 31:56Speaker 14: of the very best polsters here in the United States.
- 31:58Speaker 14: And this is this is a great hole for Donald Trump.
- 32:00Speaker 14: I mean, they have him comfortably ahead out out in
- 32:03Speaker 14: Arizona state that he obviously has to win. You know,
- 32:06Speaker 14: he's leading in most of the higher quality polls out
- 32:08Speaker 14: in Nevada as well. Nevada as a state that has
- 32:10Speaker 14: not gone for Republicans at a presidential level in two
- 32:13Speaker 14: decades since George W. Bush won it in two thousand
- 32:16Speaker 14: and four. He's looking pretty good in Georgia right now.
- 32:19Speaker 14: You know, it's gonna come down to those rust belt states, which,
- 32:22Speaker 14: by the way, is the reason that I wrote a
- 32:24Speaker 14: column all the way back in March saying that he
- 32:26Speaker 14: should pick JD. Evans to be his running mate because JD.
- 32:29Speaker 14: Vance is quite literally mister Rustbelt. I mean, he's from Ohio.
- 32:32Speaker 14: He wrote hill Billy elogy. You know, you know he
- 32:35Speaker 14: lived this life. So in this final five six weeks
- 32:39Speaker 14: of the campaign, let's get Tim Wallas, who was born Nebraska.
- 32:42Speaker 14: He's the governor of Minnesota. He is something of a
- 32:45Speaker 14: Midwestern guy himself. Let's get him up there against JD.
- 32:48Speaker 8: Vans.
- 32:48Speaker 14: They're actually gonna have a vice presidential debate next week,
- 32:51Speaker 14: so I can't wait for that. But you know, besides
- 32:53Speaker 14: the actual kind of fifty cuss of a mono a
- 32:55Speaker 14: mono debate, let's get them both out there having dueling rallies.
- 32:59Speaker 14: Let's see which Midwesterner can actually win the hearts and
- 33:02Speaker 14: minds of the actual Rust Belt voters, the weight working class,
- 33:06Speaker 14: the voter that Trump tapped into in twenty sixteen. I
- 33:08Speaker 14: would be willing to bet that it's gd Evans who
- 33:10Speaker 14: can tap into them in a way that Tim Waltz cannot.
- 33:12Speaker 14: I continue to think that Don Trump's actually a pretty
- 33:14Speaker 14: good shape to win this election.
- 33:17Speaker 3: Now, there have been at more revelations about that second
- 33:20Speaker 3: assassination attempt against Donald Trump, the suspects that note has
- 33:24Speaker 3: been released. Ryan Wesley Routh wrote, this was an assassination
- 33:29Speaker 3: attempt on Donald Trump, but I am so sorry failed you.
- 33:33Speaker 3: I tried my best and gave it all the gumption
- 33:36Speaker 3: I could muster. It is up to you now to
- 33:38Speaker 3: finish the job, and I will offer one hundred and
- 33:41Speaker 3: fifty thousand dollars to whoever can complete the job. Josh, Well,
- 33:47Speaker 3: what more can he tell us about this man and
- 33:49Speaker 3: the way this case is being handled?
- 33:53Speaker 14: Right, So, there are a few things to note here.
- 33:56Speaker 14: First of all, you know he was planning this for months,
- 33:58Speaker 14: quite quite literally months. Apparently he cased out the golf
- 34:01Speaker 14: course for weeks. In events he was stalking Donald Trump
- 34:04Speaker 14: from Afar for months on ends, he wrote this chilling letter.
- 34:08Speaker 14: You know, he actually self published a book last year
- 34:10Speaker 14: in twenty twenty three where he actually called for Iran,
- 34:13Speaker 14: for the Iranian regime to assassinate Donald Trump. Now he's
- 34:16Speaker 14: offering a one hundred and fifty thousand dollars bounty. I mean,
- 34:19Speaker 14: as if he has that cash on hand. I mean,
- 34:21Speaker 14: the guy's a total lunatic. It's not he can pay
- 34:23Speaker 14: that up anyway there, But I mean talk about something
- 34:26Speaker 14: that obviously should never have happened, especially after Butler Pennsylvania.
- 34:30Speaker 14: I you know, to this day, we have not gotten
- 34:33Speaker 14: answers from the US Secret Service. They actually released an
- 34:37Speaker 14: internal review of what happened on Friday. They really did
- 34:40Speaker 14: not come to any firm conclusions there either as to
- 34:42Speaker 14: what happened in either of these attempted assassinations, were probably
- 34:45Speaker 14: gonna have to rely on Congress and the subpoena power.
- 34:48Speaker 3: You know.
- 34:48Speaker 14: The good news is that because Ryan Routh in this
- 34:51Speaker 14: letter actually said that he was going to attempt to assassinate,
- 34:54Speaker 14: he used the word assassination. Because of that, the Department
- 34:57Speaker 14: of Justice to turn jeral Merrick Garland and the US Attorney.
- 35:00Speaker 14: They are likely now to bring an additional charge. He's
- 35:03Speaker 14: a raven charged with two federal firearms charges. They're going
- 35:05Speaker 14: to attack on an additional charge for attempted assassination with
- 35:08Speaker 14: the President of the United States, which I many others
- 35:10Speaker 14: are calling for last year. So you have that, you
- 35:13Speaker 14: also have Governor DeSantis up in Tallahassee or Capital who's
- 35:16Speaker 14: leading a concurrent investigation trying to bring attempted murder charges.
- 35:19Speaker 14: DeSantis should not slow down with that. He should continue
- 35:21Speaker 14: full speed ahead as well. Look, in my humble opinion,
- 35:24Speaker 14: I am a proponent of capital punishment. I hope that
- 35:27Speaker 14: I would prefer that this man fry and not see
- 35:29Speaker 14: the light of day. But if it has to be
- 35:31Speaker 14: life in prison, I guess I will take that.
- 35:35Speaker 3: There's so many unanswered questions, though, Josh, about where this
- 35:39Speaker 3: man got his money from, because it doesn't seem to
- 35:41Speaker 3: have any source of real income. But he did extensive travel,
- 35:46Speaker 3: who was paying for that? Why didn't he spend any
- 35:48Speaker 3: real time in prison? He faced dozens of serious charges,
- 35:52Speaker 3: weapons of mass destruction charge, you had a police standoff
- 35:56Speaker 3: for hours. There seems to be a lot of unanswered
- 36:00Speaker 3: questions with this as there is with Butler. But I
- 36:04Speaker 3: want to move on to today the Argentinian Trump, as
- 36:08Speaker 3: he has been called Harvia Milay. Being in New York
- 36:11Speaker 3: he met with Elon Musk, who was wearing a black
- 36:14Speaker 3: Maga cap. Tell me about the impact Mila has had
- 36:18Speaker 3: on Argentina in a relatively short period of times. Is
- 36:22Speaker 3: a country that went from one of the riches in
- 36:25Speaker 3: this region in South America to one of the poorest
- 36:28Speaker 3: thanks to socialism, perrhism. What impact has Milay's small government
- 36:34Speaker 3: approach had so far.
- 36:37Speaker 14: Well, in a very short time period, he has already
- 36:41Speaker 14: taken drastic measures to turn around the Argentinian economy. I mean,
- 36:45Speaker 14: inflation has come down to a relatively normal level, wages
- 36:50Speaker 14: have been increasing in real inflation, just the terms GDP
- 36:52Speaker 14: per capita is already on the rise, certainly relative to
- 36:55Speaker 14: what it was under his predecessor. As you said, Rider,
- 36:58Speaker 14: Argentina was one of the wealthiest countries in Latin America.
- 37:03Speaker 14: In fact, I think by some measures it was actually
- 37:05Speaker 14: by it was actually clearly number one for a period
- 37:07Speaker 14: of time there and it became just an absolutely indebted
- 37:12Speaker 14: socialist hellhole. And you know what he's been able to
- 37:14Speaker 14: achieve in a very short time ought to be inspiring
- 37:17Speaker 14: to those around the world who would seek to come
- 37:20Speaker 14: into power in a system of leftism or totalitanism and
- 37:23Speaker 14: then be given the opportunity to try to turn around.
- 37:25Speaker 14: There's a lot of meat on the bone, is what
- 37:26Speaker 14: I'm trying to say, in a lot of left wing
- 37:29Speaker 14: governments all throughout the world. The story of Hoavier Malay
- 37:32Speaker 14: now quickly he's come in and turned this around very quickly.
- 37:35Speaker 14: That should give inspiration to those seeking to challenge and
- 37:38Speaker 14: depose a lot of these other left wing socialists, rulers,
- 37:41Speaker 14: prime ministers, dictators, whatever their title may or may not be,
- 37:44Speaker 14: all throughout the world. And also on the global stage
- 37:47Speaker 14: with what he's saying in terms of the pro Trump rhetoric,
- 37:50Speaker 14: he's casting good votes at the United Nations. By the way,
- 37:53Speaker 14: Argentina has been an actually rare, standout good vote when
- 37:57Speaker 14: it comes especially to Middle East issues. You know that
- 38:01Speaker 14: was not the case under the previous governments. And Argentina
- 38:04Speaker 14: is a fairly large country, it's a good sized population,
- 38:06Speaker 14: so this is an important story to keep your eye on.
- 38:10Speaker 3: Absolutely, And I remember I think it was just two
- 38:12Speaker 3: or three days before that election where Milay was waving
- 38:16Speaker 3: an Israeli flag at one of his rallies, so he
- 38:19Speaker 3: was unashamedly pro Israel, even when I think he was
- 38:22Speaker 3: advised it could be costly for him during the election. Now,
- 38:26Speaker 3: before you go, I just want to ask you about
- 38:28Speaker 3: a report from Channel twelve News in Israel. They've reported
- 38:33Speaker 3: that the UN, together with the US Department of Justice,
- 38:36Speaker 3: is arguing that unrighte employees who were involved in October
- 38:40Speaker 3: seven should have immunity from legal action. Can you shed
- 38:45Speaker 3: any more light on this developing story because it seems unbelievable.
- 38:51Speaker 14: Well, it's actually even worse than that Jerusalem Post headline
- 38:54Speaker 14: that the viewers just saw is indicating. So the UN
- 38:57Speaker 14: is not only seeking immunity for its own employees. Its
- 39:00Speaker 14: own employees, you know, which, by the way, by a
- 39:03Speaker 14: very large margin, happened to be moonlighting as Hamas Jihattist apparatchicks.
- 39:08Speaker 14: You know, they're basically you and employees by day Jihattist
- 39:10Speaker 14: by night. But it's actually worse than that, because the
- 39:13Speaker 14: Joe Biden do o J I'm gonna repeat this, the
- 39:17Speaker 14: Joe Biden do OJ has filed a brief in court
- 39:21Speaker 14: agreeing with this argument. The official stance of the United
- 39:25Speaker 14: States Department of Justice is that the UNRAN employees who
- 39:28Speaker 14: participated in the single largest slaughter of the Jewish people
- 39:32Speaker 14: since Hitler and the Nazis were alive, deserve immunity from
- 39:35Speaker 14: prosecution because they're international employees. I mean, I don't have
- 39:38Speaker 14: words to describe how unspeakably evil this is. And you know, look,
- 39:43Speaker 14: if you're looking at what's happening on the world stage
- 39:46Speaker 14: in general, come November here in America, you really ought
- 39:49Speaker 14: to pull a lever for Donald Trump, given how much
- 39:51Speaker 14: the world is on fire over the past few years.
- 39:53Speaker 14: But if you needed one final closing argument, it probably
- 39:56Speaker 14: should be this. I mean, this is just a morally jarring,
- 40:00Speaker 14: absolutely rock bottom level stance that the Joe Biden doj
- 40:03Speaker 14: is taking, by the way, taken by Attorney General Merrick Garland,
- 40:06Speaker 14: who is the son of if I'm not mistaken, a
- 40:08Speaker 14: Polcaster Vibors as well.
- 40:11Speaker 3: Josh Hammah, Thank you so much for your time this evening.
- 40:14Speaker 14: Thank you reader.
- 40:15Speaker 3: Coming up, an award winning actor and LGBTQ activist tells
- 40:19Speaker 3: me he is now under attack in his own community
- 40:22Speaker 3: because he is Jewish. Welcome back, joining me now. Is Jewish,
- 40:31Speaker 3: LGBTQ advocate and Emmy Award winning actor. You've all, David,
- 40:36Speaker 3: You've all. This year, you attended a Pride parade in Washington,
- 40:40Speaker 3: d C. Where you and the group you were with
- 40:42Speaker 3: were physically assaulted, abuse spat on just for being Jewish
- 40:48Speaker 3: and supporting Israel. Here's some of what happened.
- 40:52Speaker 8: Rushing us.
- 40:54Speaker 7: You're rushing us.
- 40:57Speaker 11: You can't hear.
- 41:00Speaker 12: These. I have been a lifelong LGBTQ activist. I believe
- 41:10Speaker 12: in the values.
- 41:11Speaker 3: Of protecting LGBTQ people.
- 41:13Speaker 12: But they are attacking us in the middle of a
- 41:16Speaker 12: Pride march. Am I not supposed to be welcome within
- 41:19Speaker 12: my own LGBTQ community because I am Jewish, because I'm Israeli.
- 41:24Speaker 12: We are people of all nationalities here, all different types
- 41:27Speaker 12: of LGBTQ people, and we're being booed right now.
- 41:37Speaker 3: Incredible scenes. This is a movement that's supposed to be
- 41:41Speaker 3: inclusive and tolerant. Did you feel welcome?
- 41:45Speaker 12: I did not feel welcome, as is obvious from that video.
- 41:48Speaker 12: The thing is we also were assaulted in multiple different
- 41:53Speaker 12: events during that Pride weekend in Washington, DC, and the
- 41:56Speaker 12: same thing happened in New York city. The thing is.
- 42:00Speaker 12: I also was warned in advance by the FBI and
- 42:05Speaker 12: other organizations in the United States that agitators were planning
- 42:10Speaker 12: on disrupting Pride events in more than one hundred cities
- 42:13Speaker 12: across the United States. I don't believe that anybody should
- 42:17Speaker 12: be allowed to stop our pride, to stop us from
- 42:20Speaker 12: presenting ourselves being who we are. That's part of what
- 42:24Speaker 12: living in a democracy is about. But I've seen these
- 42:28Speaker 12: factions within the LGBTQ movement grow and increase, and I've
- 42:32Speaker 12: been waiving that red flag for a long time, and sadly,
- 42:35Speaker 12: I've been heavily ignored. And that's why we're seeing what
- 42:38Speaker 12: we're seeing right now, with the Lgbtqia Plus movement having
- 42:43Speaker 12: gone to some mind twisting extremes.
- 42:48Speaker 3: Mind twisting. Indeed, the whole hostility towards Israel and the
- 42:53Speaker 3: Jewish people for members of that community is bizarre. It's
- 42:59Speaker 3: bordering on suicidely stupid when Israel is the only place
- 43:04Speaker 3: in the Middle East where that community enjoys rights, equal rights.
- 43:08Speaker 3: I noticed nobody has taken up the New Tolerance Campaigns
- 43:13Speaker 3: offer of a million dollars to hold Ay Pride March
- 43:16Speaker 3: in Gaza or the West Bank. It will be be
- 43:20Speaker 3: unthinkable to have any sort of event celebrating the community
- 43:26Speaker 3: in those parts of the world other than in Israel.
- 43:30Speaker 12: Look, you're speaking the truth. Israel is the only country
- 43:33Speaker 12: in the Middle East that protects lgbtqia plus rights and
- 43:38Speaker 12: every other letter you wish to add to this movement.
- 43:40Speaker 12: Israel is the only country in the Middle East that
- 43:44Speaker 12: provides asylum for people for Arabs who wish to flee
- 43:48Speaker 12: their countries and move into Israel so they can still
- 43:51Speaker 12: speak Arabic, so they can still be around other Arabs
- 43:55Speaker 12: and Arab Israelis in order to be safe. The same
- 43:58Speaker 12: thing goes for women's rates. So look, I'm an equal
- 44:02Speaker 12: opportunity supporter and an equal opportunity critic. If somebody from
- 44:07Speaker 12: my own liberal, progressive LGBTQ movements is doing things that's
- 44:11Speaker 12: against the values of these movements, then I'm going to
- 44:14Speaker 12: speak out about it. And I've been speaking out about
- 44:17Speaker 12: these issues starting in twenty sixteen, when I started to
- 44:22Speaker 12: see more and more manipulation entering the LGBTQ space. In
- 44:28Speaker 12: twenty sixteen, people used to go to the LGBTQ conferences
- 44:31Speaker 12: When I would speak at when I would be speaking
- 44:34Speaker 12: one of the keynote speakers at a conference, and they'd
- 44:36Speaker 12: hand out free shirts and free mugs and the free buttons,
- 44:39Speaker 12: all the things we see. And they'd have people who'd
- 44:41Speaker 12: walk there with a kafia and wrap it around somebody's
- 44:45Speaker 12: neck and say, oh, here's a kafia. It's a symbol
- 44:48Speaker 12: of resistance against any form of oppression. And that's all
- 44:52Speaker 12: they did. So all of a sudden, they started to
- 44:55Speaker 12: create these little symbols that people would recognize and say, oh,
- 44:58Speaker 12: that person is wearing a beautiful scarf, then we must
- 45:01Speaker 12: be the same. Is that all that it takes with
- 45:04Speaker 12: catchy nursery, rhyme, slogans that rhymes to manipulate these people
- 45:08Speaker 12: to believe that Hamas is an organization that an LGBTQ
- 45:13Speaker 12: person should support, or Hezbollah or the or Iran. It
- 45:18Speaker 12: doesn't make.
- 45:18Speaker 3: Sense, does not make sense. And that anti Israeli sentiment
- 45:25Speaker 3: we saw the Pride Marcher has extended into Hollywood increasingly,
- 45:31Speaker 3: something you've pointed out. You know, Hollywood champions the left's causes,
- 45:37Speaker 3: and this appears to be another one now and it's
- 45:40Speaker 3: also in the music industry, in entertainment industry, in general.
- 45:44Speaker 3: Most recently, rapper Macklemore launched into a tirade against Israel
- 45:49Speaker 3: and America at a concert raising money for anwar.
- 45:53Speaker 15: Have a listen, Yeah, America, October seventh happens, and I
- 46:00Speaker 15: start paying attention, and I start, I started learning. I
- 46:04Speaker 15: started listening. I start, I start going back and learning
- 46:07Speaker 15: the history this issue that was deemed so complicated. It's
- 46:11Speaker 15: a genocide, absolutely, and it has been since nineteen forty eight.
- 46:14Speaker 15: Don't get it twisted.
- 46:16Speaker 12: Don't get it incredible.
- 46:17Speaker 3: To me that he admits to only really being interested
- 46:22Speaker 3: in this issue after October seven, but he looked at
- 46:26Speaker 3: the slaughter of innocent Israelis in their homes at a
- 46:29Speaker 3: music festival and decided they were to blame. It's as I.
- 46:34Speaker 12: Said, truly, or it's bewildering, just as you stated, and
- 46:39Speaker 12: as he stated himself, including in his other speeches that
- 46:42Speaker 12: he's been giving since October seventh, where he actually says
- 46:47Speaker 12: the words that he didn't know anything about the situation.
- 46:50Speaker 12: He didn't know anything about what's happening in the Middle
- 46:53Speaker 12: East until October seventh, and he's only recently learning about it. Wonderful.
- 46:57Speaker 12: That is absolutely a person that we should be listening
- 47:00Speaker 12: to a rapper who says that he doesn't know anything
- 47:03Speaker 12: about the situation, but he knows how he feels. What
- 47:06Speaker 12: we're seeing is the progressive left, which is far too
- 47:09Speaker 12: focused on this oppressor, oppressed narrative, even though so many
- 47:13Speaker 12: of us talk about being non binary. They're focused on
- 47:16Speaker 12: binary thinking a light and dark and they've learned false
- 47:20Speaker 12: information from non reliable sources, and that the facts are
- 47:25Speaker 12: out there from reliable sources. I listen to your show,
- 47:29Speaker 12: I listen to what you say, and if I don't
- 47:32Speaker 12: agree with everything you say, that makes me more excited,
- 47:35Speaker 12: because maybe you'll change my mind, maybe I will change
- 47:39Speaker 12: somebody else's mind. That's what this should be about. But
- 47:42Speaker 12: they are canceling anybody who disagrees with them. They're forcing
- 47:47Speaker 12: facts to fit their opinions, as opposed to shaping their
- 47:51Speaker 12: opinions based on facts. Here's something that will bother you
- 47:55Speaker 12: more than all of the other things that bother you
- 47:56Speaker 12: that you speak about. Ninety seven percent of people under
- 48:00Speaker 12: the age of forty five receive their news and world
- 48:03Speaker 12: information from TikTok and Instagram.
- 48:08Speaker 3: Well, this is a problem, and we see what trends there,
- 48:11Speaker 3: we see what's promoted particularly on TikTok, and I don't
- 48:15Speaker 3: believe it's all organic there. They determine what is allowed
- 48:18Speaker 3: to trend and what's suppressed, and it's very dangerous time.
- 48:23Speaker 3: But I applaud you and the work you do, very brave. Indeed,
- 48:26Speaker 3: you've all David, thank you so much for your time
- 48:28Speaker 3: this evening.
- 48:29Speaker 12: The feeling is mutual. I applaud you for everything that
- 48:33Speaker 12: you're doing. You're a voice of reason and a voice
- 48:35Speaker 12: of truth, and I will do everything to help spread
- 48:39Speaker 12: that truth so people can learn and do the right thing.
- 48:42Speaker 3: That's it from me. I'll see at eleven tomorrow with
- 48:45Speaker 3: Kelly J. Keen Up. Next is Newsnight.
