- 0:00Speaker 1: Scrubbing In with Beca, Tilly and Tanya rad and iHeartRadio
- 0:04Speaker 1: and two times People's Choice Award winning podcast.
- 0:11Speaker 2: Hello everybody, we are scrubbing in. Hey everyone, there's something
- 0:20Speaker 2: Why don't we come up with the new jingle that
- 0:22Speaker 2: you do to greet people that's not scrub it ub dubs?
- 0:25Speaker 1: Should we have started with the other song?
- 0:27Speaker 3: So it's funny that you asked, well.
- 0:29Speaker 2: No, because I think we're gonna That was incentive for
- 0:32Speaker 2: people to submit.
- 0:34Speaker 4: But we loved, we loved.
- 0:36Speaker 5: So I asked chatchipt to help me come up with
- 0:39Speaker 5: another one, thank god, but they're long, so and I
- 0:43Speaker 5: don't think people are gonna.
- 0:44Speaker 3: Like this either.
- 0:46Speaker 5: Scrubbing in where the truth comes out, scrubbing in with
- 0:51Speaker 5: laughter and doubt. We're all in this, one chat at
- 0:54Speaker 5: a time.
- 0:55Speaker 3: Scrubbing in. It's your favorite sign.
- 0:59Speaker 2: So did you have square a full jingle or just
- 1:01Speaker 2: like an intro.
- 1:02Speaker 5: Turn the mic on, let's dive in, Beck and Tanya
- 1:06Speaker 5: your new best friend, love life and everything, real heartbeats,
- 1:11Speaker 5: hot takes, and how we feel.
- 1:14Speaker 2: Oh well, that's felt like more of a submission for
- 1:18Speaker 2: an intro saw a jingle and not so much just
- 1:21Speaker 2: like a a jingle for you to start the show
- 1:25Speaker 2: was the melody.
- 1:27Speaker 3: They don't give you one. So I hadn't thought I
- 1:29Speaker 3: was off the cuff.
- 1:30Speaker 2: Yeah, I was gonna ask if they gave you that
- 1:33Speaker 2: just off the cuff, riveting melody that your hair looks
- 1:37Speaker 2: great and you.
- 1:38Speaker 3: Look thank you for saying that. So it's very dirty today,
- 1:43Speaker 3: and so I was like, what can one do?
- 1:45Speaker 2: Yeah, we didn't need the details. It looks great.
- 1:48Speaker 6: I wanted those details.
- 1:49Speaker 3: Thank you. It's very dirty, Like I don't remember the
- 1:52Speaker 3: last time I watched it. Why why?
- 1:54Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 1:57Speaker 3: Why is it so dirty?
- 1:58Speaker 2: Why is it? Has it been so long that you
- 2:00Speaker 2: can't remember? Oh?
- 2:01Speaker 5: Because I haven't done like an aggressive workout. So usually
- 2:05Speaker 5: I washed my hair when I like get workout sweat huh,
- 2:09Speaker 5: but I haven't done that, and I don't know.
- 2:12Speaker 2: But a minute, okay, all right, cool, Maybe today's the.
- 2:15Speaker 3: Day, today's after the day. It's happening tonight, all.
- 2:19Speaker 1: Right, workout or no workout?
- 2:20Speaker 4: Yeah, I'll show you.
- 2:24Speaker 2: We're not a no workout. Yeah, it's been a while.
- 2:27Speaker 2: We've been out of the stude for a minute because
- 2:30Speaker 2: we had to pre record. People were out of town,
- 2:32Speaker 2: people were busy. But we're all back together.
- 2:35Speaker 3: We're back, bick back.
- 2:37Speaker 2: What's been going on?
- 2:38Speaker 3: You tell me, baby girl.
- 2:41Speaker 2: Baby girl. So we went to Joshua Tree for my
- 2:48Speaker 2: sister's thirtieth birthday, Caroline. She's so I'm one of five kids,
- 2:52Speaker 2: she's number four four. It's very weird when because I
- 2:57Speaker 2: have a big, kind of a big jump after from
- 3:01Speaker 2: me to my younger sisters, and so it's a really
- 3:05Speaker 2: weird mental thing that she's thirty years old. I feel
- 3:09Speaker 2: twenty eight. So I'm like, how are you thirty when
- 3:12Speaker 2: I still feel twenty eight.
- 3:13Speaker 3: It happens, It does.
- 3:14Speaker 2: It happens, and people talk about it and you don't
- 3:17Speaker 2: and you don't think it's going to be you, and
- 3:19Speaker 2: then it is and what it is. But it was
- 3:21Speaker 2: really fun. It was all the sisters. So my older
- 3:25Speaker 2: sister flew in from Louisiana and she brought my niece, Harlowe,
- 3:28Speaker 2: who's almost two, and then my mom came, and then
- 3:32Speaker 2: both of my younger sisters and their girlfriends, and then
- 3:35Speaker 2: Haley also came. So it was really fun. It was
- 3:38Speaker 2: really fun to all be together and have like girl time.
- 3:40Speaker 2: And you know, normally when I'm with my family, it's
- 3:44Speaker 2: like a lot of people, and so I think having
- 3:46Speaker 2: just my sister and my mom in kind of a
- 3:49Speaker 2: more like secluded setting was really nice and it was
- 3:53Speaker 2: really fun. We celebrated her. We I got merch made
- 3:57Speaker 2: for her birthday. I got the same merch people that
- 3:59Speaker 2: you use for your yeah, and they were awesome.
- 4:01Speaker 3: Yeah, they're awesome.
- 4:02Speaker 2: I got these sweatsuits and they're like the coziest sweats ever.
- 4:05Speaker 2: And they said, so when she gets really drunk, her
- 4:08Speaker 2: alter ego is Carol. Her name is Caroline, and this
- 4:11Speaker 2: becomes Carol. And the theme was like desert cowgirl, So
- 4:14Speaker 2: I did cow Cowboy Carol. No, okay, sorry. So her
- 4:20Speaker 2: Instagram handle is Kine's World, so my nephews can't say
- 4:24Speaker 2: they couldn't say Caroline. So she became kind. So then
- 4:27Speaker 2: her Instagram handle is Kine's World, so it says Kind's
- 4:30Speaker 2: World on it, and then on the back it saide
- 4:31Speaker 2: Cowboy Carol because that was the theme. But they were
- 4:34Speaker 2: like it butter yellow this new color that they had
- 4:38Speaker 2: the season. Yeah, it was really cute and then this
- 4:41Speaker 2: like light blue font and it was perfect. Everyone loved them.
- 4:44Speaker 2: And then my sister, she has her little my youngest
- 4:47Speaker 2: sister has this little embroidery company that she started, so
- 4:50Speaker 2: she got little button down for everyone and embroidery them cute,
- 4:55Speaker 2: so cute. We had it decorated and we just did
- 4:58Speaker 2: like pull pickleball, chase my niece around desert things, you.
- 5:04Speaker 3: Know, nice fun.
- 5:05Speaker 2: Yeah, when'd you get back yesterday? Dang?
- 5:07Speaker 3: I know I felt I felt your absence.
- 5:10Speaker 2: It's interesting because you know, I when I'm in a
- 5:13Speaker 2: setting like that, especially with my when I have family
- 5:15Speaker 2: that's from out of town, I really like immerse myself
- 5:18Speaker 2: because I don't get to see them a lot.
- 5:21Speaker 3: Yeah, so I.
- 5:21Speaker 2: Kind of like go off the grid. Even Haley's like,
- 5:24Speaker 2: You're so like it's I don't have you one hundred
- 5:28Speaker 2: percent like I normally do. And I'm like, yeah, because
- 5:30Speaker 2: my attention is focused on other people.
- 5:34Speaker 3: Are you not proud of me that I did not
- 5:35Speaker 3: check in on you for your ten k a day? Yeah?
- 5:38Speaker 2: Well that's ended so early on in the week when
- 5:42Speaker 2: you were checking in, I was like, uh, but anyways,
- 5:46Speaker 2: what no, I am. I was very proud of you.
- 5:49Speaker 5: I was trying to like be kind to your circumstance
- 5:52Speaker 5: and I really appreciated that and your period, my period.
- 5:56Speaker 3: Yeah, you're like I can't walk today, but a period,
- 5:58Speaker 3: I know.
- 5:59Speaker 2: No, yeah, but that will get to that in a
- 6:02Speaker 2: second the ten Ka day because we haven't discussed that
- 6:05Speaker 2: on the pod yet, so.
- 6:06Speaker 3: You haven't fired me officially, so I got a.
- 6:10Speaker 2: Big venmo coming for you. Yeah. So Tanya did text
- 6:14Speaker 2: me yesterday and she's like, I miss you, and I
- 6:16Speaker 2: was like, miss you too. I'm like driving home my niece.
- 6:19Speaker 2: Like on the way home, she throws up in the car.
- 6:22Speaker 2: It smelled like spoiled milk. And then we're just like
- 6:26Speaker 2: it was raining. And then Tanya's texting me about how
- 6:29Speaker 2: much he misses me, and I'm like, miss you too,
- 6:31Speaker 2: and she's like, no, you don't understand.
- 6:32Speaker 4: I really miss you.
- 6:35Speaker 2: And I was like, yeah, tomorrow will be reunited. And
- 6:37Speaker 2: she's like that's too long, and I was like, she goes,
- 6:40Speaker 2: I can't wait. That's too long. Ago, Well you have
- 6:43Speaker 2: to I.
- 6:44Speaker 3: Have to, just no, but I don't want to.
- 6:47Speaker 2: I don't want to.
- 6:49Speaker 3: But you did a really great job so picking up
- 6:53Speaker 3: on social cues. Sure, I thought you did.
- 6:58Speaker 2: Yeah, but sometimes I feel like you've been I'm really busy,
- 7:00Speaker 2: Like I don't really hear from you unless you're just
- 7:02Speaker 2: like not doing anything. I don't. I literally, if Tanya
- 7:06Speaker 2: is busy or you have family, the boys are like
- 7:09Speaker 2: family stiff going on with Robbie. I do not hear
- 7:11Speaker 2: from you. That is false, It's not which is fine.
- 7:16Speaker 1: There's nothing wrong with.
- 7:19Speaker 3: This slander amongst me.
- 7:20Speaker 2: I literally feel completely understand. It makes total sense. It's
- 7:25Speaker 2: very normal, and I'm not saying it in a negative
- 7:30Speaker 2: way at all.
- 7:31Speaker 5: I didn't have anything going on this weekend. I spent
- 7:35Speaker 5: the whole day on Saturday in my robe, my bathrobe,
- 7:40Speaker 5: watching Better Call Saul. Oh wow, it was amazing. It
- 7:45Speaker 5: was amazing. I think I got like four hundred steps
- 7:49Speaker 5: that day, just like dog took sunny to poop and
- 7:52Speaker 5: walked right back.
- 7:53Speaker 2: I personally love when I'm under a thousand steps. That
- 7:57Speaker 2: means that day well spent.
- 8:00Speaker 5: I don't think I've ever seen below five hundred, because
- 8:03Speaker 5: like I normally at least walking to my car and
- 8:04Speaker 5: like into the office, you know, like it gets me
- 8:06Speaker 5: to at least around thousand. So the four hundred was
- 8:10Speaker 5: shocking to see at eight pm. But I was like
- 8:13Speaker 5: checks out.
- 8:13Speaker 2: At eight pm.
- 8:14Speaker 5: It's crazy crazy, And I walked like I literally only
- 8:18Speaker 5: walked as far as Sunny had to poop and then
- 8:20Speaker 5: walked right back home.
- 8:21Speaker 3: Like the minute she pooped, I was back back up
- 8:24Speaker 3: the hill.
- 8:24Speaker 2: You said, it's time to get back to our perch.
- 8:26Speaker 3: MoMA's gotta go.
- 8:27Speaker 2: So the whole thing with our walk ten k a day.
- 8:30Speaker 2: I asked Tony if she'd hold me accountable so that
- 8:35Speaker 2: I would be incentivized to walk ten thousand steps a day,
- 8:38Speaker 2: which unless you have a job where you're walking a lot,
- 8:42Speaker 2: it's very hard to do. Really, yeah, it takes a
- 8:44Speaker 2: lot of time.
- 8:45Speaker 3: Time.
- 8:46Speaker 2: It's not hard to do, it just takes a lot
- 8:48Speaker 2: of time. And so I asked her, and the deal
- 8:52Speaker 2: was that if I didn't hit ten k by the
- 8:54Speaker 2: end of the day, I had to venmo her fifty
- 8:56Speaker 2: dollars because I'm like, that is a lot of money,
- 8:59Speaker 2: and I don't I can't give her the satisfaction of
- 9:01Speaker 2: me not doing it.
- 9:03Speaker 5: I tried to get it to be five hundred wow,
- 9:05Speaker 5: because I wanted the incentive to be, like I have
- 9:08Speaker 5: to do.
- 9:08Speaker 2: That fired you like so fast.
- 9:11Speaker 7: That just seems like a person that would just throw
- 9:12Speaker 7: throw you at the fifty bucks just to get you off.
- 9:14Speaker 5: For That's why I was like, fifty doesn't feel but no,
- 9:18Speaker 5: fifty adds up. Yeah no, but I needed something that
- 9:22Speaker 5: even one day if it was like ouch, like ah,
- 9:26Speaker 5: so I was really gunning for the five hundred.
- 9:29Speaker 3: But she didn't meet me in the middle.
- 9:30Speaker 2: No, no, no, I planted at fifty. We were never
- 9:34Speaker 2: l like. It just was always fifty. There's no soaring
- 9:37Speaker 2: around to land. It was just always fifty. And so
- 9:40Speaker 2: the first week I killed it. Yeah, I was like
- 9:44Speaker 2: walking at eleven pm on my treadmill trying to get
- 9:47Speaker 2: my steps in. It was chaos. And then it was
- 9:50Speaker 2: just like I started my period and then I was
- 9:53Speaker 2: like getting ready for the desert and I was running
- 9:55Speaker 2: around like crazy.
- 9:56Speaker 5: And she gave me attitude one day, like a lot
- 9:59Speaker 5: of attitude, and I didn't really appreciate it because I
- 10:02Speaker 5: was really just holding you accountable to your own goals.
- 10:05Speaker 5: So after I got the attitude, yeah, I just took
- 10:08Speaker 5: the foot off the gas a little bit, you know,
- 10:09Speaker 5: like I was like, I don't know, I don't need
- 10:10Speaker 5: the attitude, And.
- 10:11Speaker 2: Yeah, I think I'm going to fire you, though, but
- 10:14Speaker 2: for my own self, not for you, not anything you did.
- 10:17Speaker 2: You did a great job just for me.
- 10:19Speaker 3: But I'm doing this for your own goals and your
- 10:21Speaker 3: own like better.
- 10:22Speaker 5: I know like you are. You want something deeper, you
- 10:25Speaker 5: want something harder. You want to push yourself. You want
- 10:28Speaker 5: to strive to be a better version of you.
- 10:30Speaker 3: I want better than that. Have your best friend helping
- 10:33Speaker 3: you do that?
- 10:35Speaker 2: Yeah, no, and that's fun. But I'm going to take
- 10:37Speaker 2: the money off the table. If you want to still
- 10:40Speaker 2: encourage me.
- 10:41Speaker 3: You're not going to be incentivized.
- 10:42Speaker 2: I know I wasn't with the money. Yes, you were
- 10:45Speaker 2: for a week, Yeah, for one week, and I did it.
- 10:48Speaker 3: We got to get you to one month, because that's
- 10:50Speaker 3: how you'd be able to.
- 10:51Speaker 2: Have it right, right, But maybe I can do it
- 10:53Speaker 2: without the like pressure. Anyways, it lasted for one week.
- 10:59Speaker 2: They thank you for your services and your release on fire.
- 11:04Speaker 2: I'm laying you off.
- 11:07Speaker 4: Wow, it happens gently.
- 11:10Speaker 5: I'm sure people out there would love to have my service.
- 11:14Speaker 2: You should offer it.
- 11:16Speaker 3: Maybe I will.
- 11:16Speaker 2: I don't know how you.
- 11:17Speaker 3: Oh, Becca's losses, everyone else's gained.
- 11:19Speaker 2: You know what, There's this mass text like there's some
- 11:24Speaker 2: sort of company or something where you can have like
- 11:27Speaker 2: a phone number. It's not your actual number, but it's
- 11:29Speaker 2: like an app or something, and you could maybe have
- 11:32Speaker 2: a thing where you hold people accountable.
- 11:35Speaker 3: This was not even my own thing.
- 11:37Speaker 2: I know you wanted to do it. You're seeming like
- 11:41Speaker 2: you enjoyed doing it.
- 11:42Speaker 5: Nothing would have made me happier than helping you and
- 11:45Speaker 5: encouraging you to be the best version of yourself.
- 11:48Speaker 3: What more would a best friend want?
- 11:50Speaker 2: Yeah? Well, I say you can do it without being
- 11:52Speaker 2: hired as a coach, just a friend. You can do
- 11:55Speaker 2: it just as a friend, not with you.
- 11:58Speaker 3: Why because you need a incentive, I know if you Yeah,
- 12:01Speaker 3: you need incentive.
- 12:03Speaker 2: I know, But what I'm saying is the incentive. Din.
- 12:05Speaker 3: Yeah, it didn't work anyways, fine to okay.
- 12:09Speaker 2: So better you spent the weekend watching TV better call.
- 12:13Speaker 5: Saul to be exact, Yes, the the Breaking Bad franchise.
- 12:18Speaker 3: I have now watched.
- 12:19Speaker 5: All of the shows and movies and corresponded, yes, we finished,
- 12:26Speaker 5: And then I watched al Camina last night.
- 12:27Speaker 4: Wow.
- 12:28Speaker 3: Yeah, so you're all yep, I'm all done.
- 12:31Speaker 2: So now what are you gonna watch? So?
- 12:33Speaker 3: I'm glad you asked.
- 12:36Speaker 5: I don't know, but we are now putting our phones
- 12:39Speaker 5: away after eight pm, so we are lasered into whatever
- 12:43Speaker 5: we're watching.
- 12:43Speaker 3: So it needs to be something good.
- 12:44Speaker 2: What was that, what's the purpose of that? Because I
- 12:46Speaker 2: saw it.
- 12:47Speaker 5: So I decided that I've been addicted to my phone
- 12:51Speaker 5: for quite some time and I'm aware of it. But
- 12:56Speaker 5: I read this article about how like the passing of time,
- 13:00Speaker 5: don't you feel like the time is moving faster than it.
- 13:02Speaker 3: Ever has before.
- 13:04Speaker 5: Yes, there's something having to do with our phones that's
- 13:08Speaker 5: like actually making it like fragmenting or whatever. I read
- 13:11Speaker 5: this article that like kind of weirded me out, and
- 13:13Speaker 5: I was like, Okay, I want to spend less time
- 13:17Speaker 5: just like mindlessly scrolling. I love social media and I
- 13:19Speaker 5: love engaging in social media, and I still want to
- 13:21Speaker 5: like be on it.
- 13:23Speaker 3: I love it, but I want to limit my like.
- 13:25Speaker 5: Just no scrolling while I'm watching TV, Like I don't
- 13:28Speaker 5: need to be on two screens, you know.
- 13:31Speaker 3: So that's kind of where that came from. So eight pm,
- 13:34Speaker 3: it goes down.
- 13:35Speaker 2: You move from one the small screen to the big screen. Yes,
- 13:38Speaker 2: but that.
- 13:38Speaker 7: Problem is and I agree with you, even though all
- 13:41Speaker 7: of us are on multiple screens all the time, it
- 13:43Speaker 7: seems like, yeah, I feel like you're still on the
- 13:46Speaker 7: other screen because you're still noticing notifications.
- 13:49Speaker 5: Well, it's hard to not notice when your phone is
- 13:51Speaker 5: like charging on your bedside table.
- 13:53Speaker 1: Turn it over, it has two sides, put it face down.
- 13:58Speaker 2: Can you put it on do not disturb?
- 14:00Speaker 3: You know what?
- 14:00Speaker 5: I just like have a thing with people that have
- 14:02Speaker 5: do not disturb, Like I just feel like they're just
- 14:04Speaker 5: like annoying and I just like can't be that person
- 14:07Speaker 5: that has my phone on do not disturb.
- 14:09Speaker 2: I like that. It's yeah, boundary, it's giving, like its
- 14:13Speaker 2: giving healthy, it's giving, it's giving, gen z. Do not
- 14:19Speaker 2: disturb as giving gen Z.
- 14:21Speaker 1: Yeah, that is a thing.
- 14:22Speaker 7: By the way, we used to have a woman who
- 14:24Speaker 7: worked for us whose phone was twenty four to seven
- 14:26Speaker 7: and do not disturb, But she only went on it
- 14:27Speaker 7: when she wanted to be.
- 14:28Speaker 1: Honest, Yes, which I think I respect.
- 14:30Speaker 4: I do too.
- 14:31Speaker 2: You know how I feel about people having access to
- 14:33Speaker 2: me all the time via phone in textan either.
- 14:36Speaker 5: But it's one thing to like put your phone down
- 14:38Speaker 5: and and like be like mindful about it. And it's
- 14:40Speaker 5: another thing to be like I'm on D and D
- 14:43Speaker 5: like my time is more precious than yours.
- 14:46Speaker 3: You know, I don't think it's that.
- 14:47Speaker 2: It's just like I'm not going to be at your
- 14:49Speaker 2: beck and call like out when what I'm saying, though
- 14:53Speaker 2: I don't know. I don't know, have to ask you individuals.
- 14:57Speaker 8: I started going and do not disturb after like six
- 14:59Speaker 8: pm because there are some people that we work with, yes,
- 15:02Speaker 8: that won't stop touching me. Yeah, yeah, and wanting a
- 15:05Speaker 8: response at nine pm.
- 15:06Speaker 1: I knew it for the same reason.
- 15:07Speaker 5: Yeah, I might have to stare at am.
- 15:12Speaker 3: I just don't know.
- 15:14Speaker 7: You don't do it automatically goes to do not disturbing
- 15:17Speaker 7: eight o'clock and then you put it face. Well, you
- 15:19Speaker 7: don't have to put a fish down, but either way,
- 15:20Speaker 7: it's gone. It's out of your mind. You're focused on Robbie,
- 15:23Speaker 7: the kids, the show, whatever it is you're doing.
- 15:25Speaker 2: Yeah, how do you have time to look at your
- 15:27Speaker 2: phone when you're just staring at Robbie watching TV?
- 15:31Speaker 3: He doesn't let me do it for long, Okay, so.
- 15:33Speaker 2: You have to find a new medium to engage your
- 15:37Speaker 2: brain in your eyes.
- 15:39Speaker 8: Staring at a frame photo of Robbie in the corner
- 15:41Speaker 8: and walking back and forth.
- 15:43Speaker 2: It's just like she's looking at her phone and do
- 15:44Speaker 2: you think she's scrolling social media? But it's just a
- 15:46Speaker 2: picture of rob Do you have a favorite picture of Robbie?
- 15:52Speaker 3: I do not have a favorite picture of Haley?
- 15:55Speaker 4: No, I'm like, I'm home.
- 15:57Speaker 2: But like, if someone was like, show me a picture
- 15:58Speaker 2: of Robbie, do you have one that you would.
- 15:59Speaker 3: Go too, it's something like my last photo of him?
- 16:02Speaker 2: Okay, wow? Interesting is that what y'all do? Or do
- 16:06Speaker 2: you have a photo that you I mean.
- 16:08Speaker 8: Like, there's a picture of Alison on my block screen
- 16:12Speaker 8: as usually as that. Yeah, yeah, for contact photo is
- 16:14Speaker 8: a picture I really like to.
- 16:15Speaker 7: That's interesting because I do have a bunch of favorite
- 16:18Speaker 7: ones and she hates all of them. So that's an
- 16:19Speaker 7: interesting like I don't know if that's that's universal, but
- 16:22Speaker 7: my favorites are the ones that she does not like,
- 16:24Speaker 7: because my favorites are more candid posed.
- 16:29Speaker 3: Same with Robbie.
- 16:30Speaker 2: Hailey will be like gassing me up and she's like, baby,
- 16:34Speaker 2: looks so beautiful, and then I'll go I'm like so
- 16:37Speaker 2: excited to see a new favorite photo of myself and
- 16:40Speaker 2: it's the worst bote I've ever taken. But she's like,
- 16:43Speaker 2: you look so happy and like it's like so you
- 16:46Speaker 2: and I'm like, oh.
- 16:47Speaker 3: Probabi does the same thing.
- 16:49Speaker 7: We don't want posed, we want you, the actual you,
- 16:52Speaker 7: being you, the essence of you.
- 16:54Speaker 2: And I get it because I'll take a picture of
- 16:55Speaker 2: Haley and I'll be like, oh you look so you
- 16:57Speaker 2: look so pretty, or like he looks whatever, and she's like,
- 17:00Speaker 2: that's the worst photo ever.
- 17:03Speaker 3: Yeah, it is tough. It's tough in these streets.
- 17:05Speaker 2: But isn't it great to have a partner who just
- 17:07Speaker 2: like adores you, loves you in all forms?
- 17:09Speaker 3: Yes, it is nice.
- 17:12Speaker 2: So there was some We did have some reaction again
- 17:16Speaker 2: to the scrub a dub dub and the tubatub tub
- 17:19Speaker 2: Oh yeah, and people are saying they miss it. Some
- 17:23Speaker 2: people are saying bring it back, loved it. Some people
- 17:26Speaker 2: said it's not really the way that she says it.
- 17:29Speaker 2: It's not what she says, it's how she says it.
- 17:32Speaker 2: It's the way you say it.
- 17:34Speaker 3: Wow, daggers.
- 17:37Speaker 2: Someone said, just shorted to scrub a dub dub.
- 17:41Speaker 1: I didn't know I love it till it was gone.
- 17:42Speaker 1: That's a good one.
- 17:43Speaker 3: Yeah, that I saw a lot of that distance makes
- 17:45Speaker 3: the heart funner.
- 17:46Speaker 1: I truly hate it. I love you.
- 17:54Speaker 2: I truly hate it. So saying but you know, mixed reactions.
- 18:03Speaker 2: Here's the thing we're going for everybody.
- 18:05Speaker 3: It's fine.
- 18:05Speaker 2: I think all these I think you're for all these people.
- 18:08Speaker 3: I don't think my personality in general is.
- 18:11Speaker 2: Not so me doesn't encapsulate your personality. It might.
- 18:14Speaker 7: No, I don't are for scrubbing in listeners. If you're
- 18:18Speaker 7: not for them, they're not listening right, So that's.
- 18:22Speaker 2: No. I think they would just follow me on Instagram
- 18:25Speaker 2: if they only cared about me.
- 18:27Speaker 3: Hard to say.
- 18:28Speaker 2: Here's the thing though, I think we've is that are
- 18:32Speaker 2: we doing like account to see how many times, especially.
- 18:36Speaker 1: By the way.
- 18:40Speaker 3: The streets, in these streets speaking of your little funny
- 18:47Speaker 3: little trend that you. Oh wait, I'm going to tell
- 18:49Speaker 3: you about it after the break good.
- 19:07Speaker 2: No, no, you cannot know me.
- 19:10Speaker 3: Mommy, mommy, we're back.
- 19:15Speaker 5: And Becca played a funny, little tricky trick trickster trend
- 19:19Speaker 5: on me like she loves to do. And she said
- 19:21Speaker 5: she's so hungry she could eat a Ryan Compton.
- 19:25Speaker 3: Guess who I woke up.
- 19:27Speaker 2: I'm a d M from Ryan Compton.
- 19:30Speaker 3: Yes, I have not opened it. I wanted to open it.
- 19:35Speaker 1: Please keep my name out your mouth.
- 19:39Speaker 2: Oh lame.
- 19:41Speaker 5: It's just like a crying, laughing emoji. So he appears
- 19:49Speaker 5: he appears to be with children. So I'm not going
- 19:54Speaker 5: to assume he's married because there's no woman or man
- 19:57Speaker 5: in this said photo.
- 19:59Speaker 3: But he does have two.
- 20:00Speaker 2: Kids, Okay, so maybe he's just keeping it PC and clean.
- 20:06Speaker 2: Didn't want to engage about y'all's first kiss.
- 20:08Speaker 3: Yeah, I don't know.
- 20:12Speaker 7: That's not the first time she talked about him on Ryan.
- 20:15Speaker 7: He's kind of used to it by now. But why
- 20:18Speaker 7: can I not stop watching those videos? Like every single
- 20:20Speaker 7: one of them. I have to watch it and they
- 20:22Speaker 7: always make me laugh. It's weird, you know what's crazy.
- 20:24Speaker 7: I did it to Haley with her prom date in
- 20:27Speaker 7: high school. Ask her friend's a name from high school
- 20:30Speaker 7: and she goes, I know him and I was like,
- 20:33Speaker 7: oh really.
- 20:34Speaker 2: I was like, that's where we film that I did,
- 20:38Speaker 2: but she didn't like the way she looked at after
- 20:46Speaker 2: I already did it to her like last week and
- 20:48Speaker 2: she was watching the video of me doing it to
- 20:50Speaker 2: you and she was like, I don't get it. I'm like,
- 20:52Speaker 2: I literally did that to you.
- 20:55Speaker 3: I want your help because I really want to do
- 20:57Speaker 3: one of these to Robbie.
- 20:58Speaker 2: He's sena though, well this he knows.
- 21:00Speaker 3: Oh, but like, what's an up and coming one?
- 21:04Speaker 2: Maybe you start a trend?
- 21:05Speaker 3: Yeah, but how I can't start these things. I don't
- 21:08Speaker 3: really even know how they work. But I really want
- 21:10Speaker 3: to do something that like throws him off.
- 21:12Speaker 2: What if you like got a new top, or like
- 21:16Speaker 2: found a new like type food or something you liked,
- 21:18Speaker 2: and you said it was someone from his path, like
- 21:21Speaker 2: something like the name of it was someone from his past,
- 21:24Speaker 2: because yeah, he's gonna know that he's pretty.
- 21:26Speaker 3: On trend to on trend.
- 21:27Speaker 2: He might be more aware of the trends than I.
- 21:30Speaker 3: Yes, he does keeps me young. That Robbie Attigar the
- 21:35Speaker 3: met gala was last night.
- 21:37Speaker 2: I didn't see anything that like overwhelmed me personally because
- 21:42Speaker 2: the theme was kind of felt like black suit or
- 21:45Speaker 2: what was it?
- 21:46Speaker 3: Yeah, Mars was official theme.
- 21:48Speaker 1: I'll get it for you right now.
- 21:51Speaker 2: I feel like it was.
- 21:54Speaker 1: He was super fine tailoring, black style.
- 21:58Speaker 2: Super fine tailoring, black style.
- 22:00Speaker 3: Oh yeah, that's right.
- 22:01Speaker 2: So my top was Indya, but I always feel like
- 22:04Speaker 2: she crushes so I was hoping to see see it
- 22:10Speaker 2: someone else that really stood out. I felt like Andre
- 22:13Speaker 2: three thousand carrying a piano on his back was pretty
- 22:16Speaker 2: pretty cool.
- 22:17Speaker 5: I feel like, and maybe it's just not in my algorithm,
- 22:21Speaker 5: but like, did you see the video of Andrew Garfield
- 22:22Speaker 5: waiting for Monica Barbara after the Metcala. No, okay, that's
- 22:28Speaker 5: the type of stuff I like to see, like the
- 22:29Speaker 5: behind the scenes stuff Like I don't want to see
- 22:31Speaker 5: the carpet and people just like posing for photos.
- 22:33Speaker 3: I want to see what these people are doing.
- 22:36Speaker 5: In there, out of there together, Who's talking, who's eating
- 22:40Speaker 5: the emuge bouche, who's dancing?
- 22:43Speaker 2: Do we know? Is it just like people are just
- 22:45Speaker 2: chit chatting and hanging out inside doing like in.
- 22:47Speaker 3: Tables there's like actually a performance. I imagine people are
- 22:50Speaker 3: drinking and eating, Like why is it such a like
- 22:54Speaker 3: question mark? What goes on? Is it just not in
- 22:56Speaker 3: my algorithm?
- 22:58Speaker 2: No?
- 22:58Speaker 1: Like I don't think you're allowed to bring in there.
- 23:00Speaker 1: I mean people sneak them in.
- 23:01Speaker 5: But people that the photos that we have seen, they're
- 23:04Speaker 5: snuck snuff in the bathroom.
- 23:05Speaker 2: I also liked Doci's look. I felt like she looks
- 23:08Speaker 2: really cool.
- 23:08Speaker 4: Yeah, the year of it is the year of Doughci.
- 23:12Speaker 2: There is a theoretical met Gala curse that once a
- 23:16Speaker 2: celebrity couple makes their red carpet debut, they end up
- 23:19Speaker 2: calling it quiz.
- 23:20Speaker 5: And I was so happy to see that Taylor Swift
- 23:23Speaker 5: and Travis Kelcey did not attend the Metcaleny, I.
- 23:26Speaker 2: Think for the reason you think it was because of
- 23:29Speaker 2: the curse.
- 23:30Speaker 5: Yeah, for sure, especially after Sabrina Carpenter and Barry Keyogan went.
- 23:35Speaker 2: Okay, I have to say, I'm not like physically drawn
- 23:40Speaker 2: to Berry Keyogan.
- 23:41Speaker 3: So have you seen Sulburn?
- 23:43Speaker 2: Yeah, oh yeah, he doesn't do it for me, which
- 23:46Speaker 2: is totally fun. I just he doesn't do it for me.
- 23:48Speaker 2: But I really didn't feel like it was like his
- 23:50Speaker 2: best look at the met gala, and I felt like
- 23:52Speaker 2: Sabrina looked amazing.
- 23:54Speaker 3: I didn't even know he was there on Monday.
- 23:55Speaker 2: Oh yeah, yeah, she looked great. She really came. She
- 24:02Speaker 2: came know, and her ex was going to be there.
- 24:03Speaker 2: She came to play, she sure did. Yeah, or was
- 24:06Speaker 2: it like she wasn't she didn't come to play, she
- 24:08Speaker 2: did not come to play.
- 24:09Speaker 4: Yeah, she came to Sleigh.
- 24:11Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 24:11Speaker 9: Yeah.
- 24:11Speaker 2: Yeah. There's some White Lotus rumors, feud rumors that I
- 24:19Speaker 2: want to talk about because you were the one who
- 24:21Speaker 2: was like, I want to know everything that they're doing.
- 24:24Speaker 3: I know, and I'm just like over White Lotus.
- 24:26Speaker 1: Oh you are.
- 24:26Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 24:27Speaker 3: See I want, like my new thing. What's my new thing?
- 24:31Speaker 3: It can't be white Lotus anymore that that's gone.
- 24:33Speaker 2: Well, it can't be breaking bad because it's for a
- 24:37Speaker 2: long time it's been gone.
- 24:38Speaker 3: Yeah, I don't know, I need something new.
- 24:40Speaker 2: Well, Hailey's just not watching the Dallas Cowboy Cheerleaders.
- 24:44Speaker 3: I finished that while ago too.
- 24:46Speaker 2: I'm like, I don't even know if all these girls
- 24:48Speaker 2: are still cheering, Like that's how old this is. Yeah,
- 24:51Speaker 2: and she's like crying watching girls get like cut from
- 24:53Speaker 2: the team. I'm like, I think they're fine. I haven't
- 24:57Speaker 2: caught up with them, but she i'd so funny. Well
- 25:02Speaker 2: me too, like three years ago whenever it came out.
- 25:04Speaker 2: But she's very into that.
- 25:05Speaker 3: So it's just to show you good art is timeless.
- 25:09Speaker 2: Well, a docuseries on a franchise like that, if you've
- 25:12Speaker 2: never watched it, it feels new, and it feels like
- 25:16Speaker 2: that they the same process happens every year. It's just
- 25:18Speaker 2: so you're not going to see the same people. What
- 25:20Speaker 2: do you tell you?
- 25:21Speaker 3: I'll tell you.
- 25:22Speaker 5: What I'm excited about that's coming out shortly soon is
- 25:26Speaker 5: the new season of Love Island comes out June third,
- 25:30Speaker 5: So that's very exciting. My calendar is marked?
- 25:32Speaker 2: Is this USA?
- 25:33Speaker 5: USA?
- 25:33Speaker 9: Yes?
- 25:33Speaker 2: Do you think that? See? This is interesting? This is
- 25:36Speaker 2: an interesting conversation because that last season of USA was
- 25:42Speaker 2: so unintentionally iconic and people were so obsessed with it.
- 25:48Speaker 2: So do you think that people going into this season
- 25:51Speaker 2: are going to be trying too much to be as
- 25:55Speaker 2: relevant as this last cast?
- 25:57Speaker 5: So it's interesting that you pose this question because do
- 26:00Speaker 5: I feel like everybody's intentions are pure that are going
- 26:03Speaker 5: on Love Island USA or UK?
- 26:05Speaker 2: No? Well, no, I'm not. I don't even know if
- 26:07Speaker 2: that was pure for them last season, right, But.
- 26:10Speaker 5: I feel like no season of Love Island USA has
- 26:13Speaker 5: ever been as famous as this last one. Like I
- 26:16Speaker 5: couldn't pick pick one of them out of a lineup
- 26:18Speaker 5: of the first few seasons, but last season I know
- 26:20Speaker 5: all of their names.
- 26:22Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 26:22Speaker 3: So I hope they cast this next season really good
- 26:25Speaker 3: because it has.
- 26:25Speaker 2: A lot to live up too, That's what I'm saying.
- 26:28Speaker 2: Not sure they will cast it really well because.
- 26:31Speaker 5: There's a lot of If anybody from Peacock needs any help,
- 26:35Speaker 5: holler at your girl for casting for casting home.
- 26:39Speaker 2: Maybe this year we can go and do like you
- 26:41Speaker 2: remember how they went to the villa last year, Chick.
- 26:44Speaker 3: I was so jealous.
- 26:46Speaker 2: Shout out Terria. She's a married woman from Chicken Harvest,
- 26:52Speaker 2: I know, and.
- 26:52Speaker 5: She went work straight on her honeymoon, and it made
- 26:54Speaker 5: me kind of sad that we didn't go straight on
- 26:56Speaker 5: our honeymoon.
- 26:57Speaker 2: Well you've got to move on from that, I know.
- 26:59Speaker 5: But I'll like, Wow, that's like a nice little like
- 27:02Speaker 5: you're on such a high after your wedding and you
- 27:04Speaker 5: just like go off into this like even bigger high.
- 27:06Speaker 2: But didn't they get married where they live?
- 27:08Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 27:08Speaker 2: So I think that's when I think we need to
- 27:10Speaker 2: do a destination. It kind of is different.
- 27:12Speaker 3: You're already you.
- 27:14Speaker 2: Know, you're already have fun.
- 27:15Speaker 3: Yeah yeah, yeah, yeah, you're.
- 27:16Speaker 2: Kind of ready to get home. By that point, I
- 27:19Speaker 2: was not ready. I was just trying to help you out, Okay.
- 27:22Speaker 5: So I thought this would be actually kind of cute
- 27:24Speaker 5: since it's kind of basically summer already. If we all
- 27:28Speaker 5: make our predictions what we think the song of the
- 27:30Speaker 5: summer is going to be, and then we come back, Mark,
- 27:32Speaker 5: can you put a reminder at like September first to
- 27:35Speaker 5: come back to this conversation in this beta, And I
- 27:39Speaker 5: think we all pick a song of the summer what
- 27:41Speaker 5: we think it's going to be, and then we can
- 27:43Speaker 5: see who wins.
- 27:46Speaker 3: After the Break, which was a good hit.
- 27:51Speaker 1: And it still seems they have legs with them.
- 27:53Speaker 5: You wrong?
- 27:54Speaker 1: I was wrong?
- 27:55Speaker 3: Yeah, okay, do you have?
- 27:57Speaker 2: So? Are all the songs that will be out of
- 27:59Speaker 2: the summer? Are those albums? Well?
- 28:01Speaker 3: No, so we don't. It's it's really like a gamble
- 28:03Speaker 3: that we're playing this game right now. But I think
- 28:05Speaker 3: it's fun.
- 28:05Speaker 5: So I'll read off the contender so everybody has some
- 28:07Speaker 5: time to really think about it. Okay, apt Rose and Brunomar,
- 28:11Speaker 5: all of these.
- 28:13Speaker 3: Are okay, Mark, excuse me.
- 28:15Speaker 2: All of these songs are like five years old.
- 28:19Speaker 1: It's like.
- 28:22Speaker 4: Help came out literally that was the song of last summer.
- 28:27Speaker 2: That true came out last October.
- 28:31Speaker 1: Maybe how Bad Do You Want Me? By Gaga that
- 28:33Speaker 1: really has.
- 28:33Speaker 2: Started yet, and that the ed scheeron song, I don't
- 28:37Speaker 2: think that is that strong you it's viral, but that's
- 28:42Speaker 2: also a very it's an old song from an old album.
- 28:44Speaker 3: Also, The Giver by Chapel Roone is new.
- 28:47Speaker 2: Yeah, I didn't have it, didn't take that sharing that's
- 28:51Speaker 2: already dead. Anxiety, the negativity I'm just telling you, and.
- 29:00Speaker 3: That is surrounding me.
- 29:02Speaker 2: You know what, it's rough in these streets.
- 29:05Speaker 3: It's tough in these streets. If you're gonna say it,
- 29:08Speaker 3: say it right.
- 29:09Speaker 2: I thought you said rough.
- 29:10Speaker 3: Tough, Oh, tough on these streets.
- 29:13Speaker 2: Oh, it's always been tough in these streets. Never rough
- 29:16Speaker 2: in these streets.
- 29:17Speaker 3: It's tough in these streets. So nobody's gonna pick one
- 29:21Speaker 3: of these. It's just me playing what.
- 29:23Speaker 1: I'll tell you. I have two thoughts, but go ahead,
- 29:25Speaker 1: and I am professional DJ.
- 29:26Speaker 3: So first of all, you don't have to pick off
- 29:28Speaker 3: this list. You can come up with your own. How
- 29:29Speaker 3: about that.
- 29:30Speaker 1: That's what I'm gonna do.
- 29:31Speaker 2: Yeah, let me pick from the this list from the
- 29:34Speaker 2: year twenty twenty four, and.
- 29:39Speaker 6: I mean didn't pick plenty clock came out in twenty twenty.
- 29:43Speaker 2: Song during the pandemic in our house. It's okay, but
- 29:51Speaker 2: you know what, I have to.
- 29:51Speaker 3: Come up with this list. I'm not offended by this
- 29:53Speaker 3: at all.
- 29:54Speaker 5: But you know what I have to say, Well, it's
- 29:56Speaker 5: just everybody likes to pooh pooh and like no one
- 29:59Speaker 5: wants to help out.
- 30:00Speaker 2: I love all of these songs. I'm just they're not
- 30:02Speaker 2: let me check it's weird. If they're the song of
- 30:04Speaker 2: this summer, I'd be surprised. But I have to say
- 30:07Speaker 2: I am obsessed with Party for You by Charlie XCX.
- 30:10Speaker 2: But I think because it's from such an old album.
- 30:14Speaker 7: I mean, but it is, it's viral. I just feel
- 30:16Speaker 7: like it's viral now. I don't know that it has
- 30:18Speaker 7: legs for the next three four.
- 30:19Speaker 3: Okay, so everybody make their pick.
- 30:20Speaker 5: It does not need to be off this list. It
- 30:21Speaker 5: could be whatever song you want in your head in
- 30:23Speaker 5: your library. And we're gonna go in alphabetical order.
- 30:27Speaker 3: So Becca, you.
- 30:27Speaker 2: Start, No, I'm not ready yet, I'll go.
- 30:30Speaker 7: I dj A Kintanera a couple of weeks ago. Oh wow,
- 30:33Speaker 7: So I have a little bit of insight on this
- 30:35Speaker 7: and what the young people are listening to.
- 30:36Speaker 2: What it is?
- 30:36Speaker 7: Wow, of the newer songs, the one that got the
- 30:40Speaker 7: most reaction from the high school girls on that dance floor.
- 30:43Speaker 3: Wait, don't tell us we should guess.
- 30:48Speaker 1: Go ahead, if you'd like to guess, feel free.
- 30:51Speaker 3: Well, we need a clue.
- 30:52Speaker 1: Well, okay, it is not squabble Up. Okay, although I
- 30:58Speaker 1: didn't play squabble up. Oh so it could be great
- 31:01Speaker 1: Mark said, Drake, that is your clue?
- 31:03Speaker 6: What Oh, I know what the answer is?
- 31:06Speaker 1: Yeah by Drake got a massive response on that dance floor.
- 31:10Speaker 7: I will also add that Beauty and the Beat by
- 31:13Speaker 7: Justin Bieber and Nicki Mina's got a massive response on
- 31:16Speaker 7: the dance floor. But that was bless you, Tanya, Thank you.
- 31:19Speaker 7: Every week now it's a new weekly feature on scrubbing.
- 31:21Speaker 4: In Oh really it's weird.
- 31:24Speaker 1: Anyway, I'll say I got two for you.
- 31:26Speaker 7: I'm gonna say Nokia by Drake, and I'm saying Sally
- 31:29Speaker 7: when the wine runs out my role model. If you
- 31:32Speaker 7: have not heard that song, it's got such a great
- 31:34Speaker 7: summer vibe to it. It reminds me of Nikki your
- 31:38Speaker 7: sun Roof a couple of years ago. I love Sally
- 31:40Speaker 7: when the wine runs out. Those two are my picks
- 31:42Speaker 7: for something, so.
- 31:43Speaker 3: You can only pick one.
- 31:45Speaker 2: I was going to say Sally when the when the
- 31:48Speaker 2: wine runs out to you.
- 31:49Speaker 3: So then Mark take Nokia and you take Sally when
- 31:53Speaker 3: the wine runs out.
- 31:54Speaker 2: I just think something newer is going to come along,
- 31:56Speaker 2: but I'll take Sally when for what's out right now,
- 31:58Speaker 2: I'd say Sally when the wine And so all was.
- 32:00Speaker 7: Great okay, great Nokia Okay, but I've been pushing for
- 32:03Speaker 7: that role model song for months.
- 32:04Speaker 3: Well you can have it back. You just have to
- 32:06Speaker 3: say the word, okay word.
- 32:12Speaker 7: Oh So I would flip from Nokia to South Yes, yes,
- 32:16Speaker 7: I'm flipping from Nokia to Salad.
- 32:18Speaker 5: Okay, So Mark one, Sally, and he went first, So
- 32:20Speaker 5: market Sally, But Becca, you can go next.
- 32:22Speaker 2: No, because now I have to find a new one.
- 32:24Speaker 2: So I'll go next.
- 32:25Speaker 3: My song of the summer is going to be what
- 32:28Speaker 3: was that by Lord?
- 32:30Speaker 2: Mm hmm the new Lord's buzzy ye sounds It sounds
- 32:35Speaker 2: like other Lords.
- 32:37Speaker 6: Coming album Virgin coming in June.
- 32:39Speaker 3: Yeah, it's gonna be a vibe.
- 32:41Speaker 2: I think there's gonna be a time hit. That's the
- 32:43Speaker 2: summer set.
- 32:43Speaker 6: That's what I was going to say. Wow, I was
- 32:46Speaker 6: gonna say him.
- 32:47Speaker 3: Because do you guys have insider information?
- 32:52Speaker 2: Their album is gonna come out soon. But the first hit,
- 32:54Speaker 2: I mean, relationship was just incredible hit. So I'm gonna
- 33:01Speaker 2: go home song and then But I'd like to say
- 33:05Speaker 2: I wish I had said it out loud because I
- 33:06Speaker 2: was trying to find the exact name of it. But Sally,
- 33:08Speaker 2: what has been on my every playlist that I've listened to.
- 33:11Speaker 5: Okay, so it's fine. You can all have an honorable mention.
- 33:14Speaker 5: So Mark, you can be Sally with honorable mention. No,
- 33:17Speaker 5: I'm honorable mention, Sally. I'll be Lord honorable mention Azzi
- 33:22Speaker 5: zomb Ed Sharan.
- 33:23Speaker 8: Yeah, I'm telling you what's yours unreleased time will be
- 33:29Speaker 8: is what I'm picking.
- 33:30Speaker 5: So you can't pick the same one that honorable God.
- 33:34Speaker 5: So you get like partial cred.
- 33:36Speaker 8: I'm like trying to look at because everything I've been
- 33:37Speaker 8: playing is old for for my personal song of summer.
- 33:42Speaker 8: But I think what everyone's going to be into is
- 33:43Speaker 8: uh is uh. I think b m F sissa is
- 33:48Speaker 8: going to have a region.
- 33:49Speaker 1: Oh well, you know my beef for that song.
- 33:52Speaker 6: What's your beef for that?
- 33:53Speaker 1: If s z A is pronounced, then BMF should be.
- 33:58Speaker 6: It couldnt be, Yes, you can. The UMF is an acronym,
- 34:03Speaker 6: says it is not.
- 34:05Speaker 2: I also love like Jenny, Oh like Jenny.
- 34:10Speaker 3: Okay, so let's just mark it down.
- 34:12Speaker 5: Mark has marked it down. Mark has marked it down,
- 34:15Speaker 5: and we will revisit come September. First September, end of summer,
- 34:21Speaker 5: end of August.
- 34:25Speaker 2: Can't wait to return to that.
- 34:26Speaker 3: Yeah, me too.
- 34:27Speaker 2: I love a reminder on your calendar and phone hello,
- 34:32Speaker 2: thank you so much. Something that you do already is
- 34:36Speaker 2: becoming a new trend, and I am going to talk
- 34:40Speaker 2: about that when we come to cycle thinking, all right,
- 35:01Speaker 2: we're back. So it seems as though research is suggesting
- 35:07Speaker 2: that a lot of people are in their home body
- 35:10Speaker 2: era and staying in is the new going out. So
- 35:13Speaker 2: you've been literally a trend setter.
- 35:16Speaker 3: I love how everybody thinks I'm like this, like staying
- 35:19Speaker 3: in grammar.
- 35:19Speaker 2: Actually you know what I think? You stay in. You
- 35:21Speaker 2: go out way more than you stay in. But yes, yeah,
- 35:25Speaker 2: you're actually not on trend anymore.
- 35:26Speaker 5: No, I love staying in. I am a homebody. I
- 35:29Speaker 5: am a cancer through and through. I love being at home,
- 35:32Speaker 5: but I am not home often.
- 35:36Speaker 3: Do you think I'm out in about?
- 35:38Speaker 2: What do you think it is that you are out
- 35:40Speaker 2: in about? It's not rough in these street when you're
- 35:44Speaker 2: out in the vout exactly. I feel like it has
- 35:48Speaker 2: to do with something since the pandemic, Like we found
- 35:52Speaker 2: this comfort and like we had to be at home
- 35:57Speaker 2: for so long that we found comfort in that state
- 36:01Speaker 2: and being like in cozy clothes in our home and
- 36:04Speaker 2: I also feel like things are so expensive and sometimes
- 36:08Speaker 2: it's just nice to have people over at the house
- 36:10Speaker 2: and staying in and being cozy rather than like going out.
- 36:13Speaker 5: I love having people over at our house. That's like
- 36:16Speaker 5: my favorite thing. If we could have people over seven
- 36:17Speaker 5: days a week, I would love it.
- 36:20Speaker 2: I don't feel like I relate to that as much
- 36:25Speaker 2: like y'all love hosting. I'm fine if people want to
- 36:27Speaker 2: come over and have like a chill night, but I
- 36:29Speaker 2: don't need to be a big thing. I'm more just like, oh,
- 36:30Speaker 2: come over, we'll like order food in, you know. But
- 36:34Speaker 2: I also I love getting dressed up and going out too.
- 36:38Speaker 3: Yeah, but.
- 36:40Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, going to dinner.
- 36:42Speaker 3: Yeah, I agree.
- 36:43Speaker 5: We love like if we host and we have people over,
- 36:46Speaker 5: we love to like curate the menu and like what
- 36:48Speaker 5: are we gonna make, and like to eat this, and
- 36:50Speaker 5: who's gonna want to eat this?
- 36:51Speaker 3: And like they're gonna like this?
- 36:55Speaker 2: Yeah yeah, yeah, y'all are hosters.
- 36:58Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 36:59Speaker 5: I also think because the pandemic, we were all in
- 37:01Speaker 5: and then I feel like the pendulum swung the other
- 37:03Speaker 5: way and everybody was just like out o out and
- 37:05Speaker 5: now it's like reel it back in, you know.
- 37:07Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, Like we all went crazy and
- 37:11Speaker 2: they were like, what.
- 37:12Speaker 5: Goes up must come down, what goes left must come right,
- 37:16Speaker 5: what goes forward must come back exactly.
- 37:19Speaker 2: I think, yeah, whatever, I mean, you don't want to
- 37:21Speaker 2: always yeah.
- 37:22Speaker 3: Yeah, speaking of cycle thinking, we.
- 37:28Speaker 4: Weren't talking about that, not even a little bit.
- 37:30Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 37:32Speaker 3: So I'm exploring this ob g y N scene in
- 37:35Speaker 3: the Los Angeles quick.
- 37:39Speaker 1: Works.
- 37:42Speaker 2: Speaking of cycles thinking, we all like, look at each other.
- 37:45Speaker 3: Okay, it is wild, the obg y N scene in
- 37:49Speaker 3: Los Angeles, California.
- 37:51Speaker 2: Tell me because I know, I know nothing.
- 37:54Speaker 5: I'm just in the process because my guyno is not
- 37:56Speaker 5: an obgy n, So I'm like trying to find one.
- 37:59Speaker 5: And like I started out by getting just asking anybody
- 38:02Speaker 5: that I knew in LA that's had a baby within
- 38:04Speaker 5: the last like ten years, and everybody that I asked
- 38:07Speaker 5: is like, oh, my obi's retired, retired, retired. So then
- 38:09Speaker 5: I was like, this is weird, Like why are all
- 38:12Speaker 5: these obie's retiring? Yeah, So then I had an a
- 38:15Speaker 5: point with my guano and she was like, it's because
- 38:17Speaker 5: the amount that they get paid for that lifestyle, give
- 38:21Speaker 5: me in the hospital for three days giving birth to you.
- 38:23Speaker 5: Know like baby, and that the lifespan is like an
- 38:26Speaker 5: average of like seven years or something.
- 38:29Speaker 3: For that profession. Oh not lifespan, oh, profession.
- 38:34Speaker 5: All retiring and like nobody's it's just it's just it's
- 38:37Speaker 5: just a wild it's a rough in these streets.
- 38:41Speaker 2: So what your process is, You're like doing meet and
- 38:44Speaker 2: greets with yes, obg, I insper when the time comes correct.
- 38:48Speaker 5: To see who I'm like vibing with, meshing with, feeling
- 38:51Speaker 5: good about. Yeah, well, meet and greets, That's exactly what
- 38:54Speaker 5: I'm doing.
- 38:55Speaker 2: Yeah, So have you started those yet?
- 38:57Speaker 8: No?
- 38:57Speaker 5: I was supposed to start last night and the meat
- 39:00Speaker 5: and greet with this said doctor was an obscene amount,
- 39:04Speaker 5: so didn't go to that visit. But they start next week.
- 39:09Speaker 2: Oh wow, okay, Hm. I feel like people are going
- 39:12Speaker 2: to really start the rumors. They're going to start that
- 39:14Speaker 2: Tonya is pregnant soon, just based off the conversations happening.
- 39:18Speaker 4: On the pod right there.
- 39:20Speaker 3: This is my life and this is what I've been like.
- 39:22Speaker 5: I've been like knee deep in this for about a week,
- 39:24Speaker 5: just like trying to like find and explore and like
- 39:26Speaker 5: figure it all out.
- 39:28Speaker 2: I didn't know that people met with doctors to see
- 39:32Speaker 2: which one. I thought you just I guess normally, like
- 39:36Speaker 2: people typically will have a gaina who is also ob
- 39:39Speaker 2: so it's a natural just progression.
- 39:41Speaker 3: Correct.
- 39:42Speaker 2: So I didn't know that. I never even thought about, Oh,
- 39:44Speaker 2: you have to go and meet because it's a big deal,
- 39:46Speaker 2: like someone who's delivering your baby. You want to go.
- 39:48Speaker 2: I mean maybe not. I don't know.
- 39:51Speaker 3: Some people, probably some of them don't care.
- 39:53Speaker 7: I think it's pretty intimate. I think it's probably smart
- 39:55Speaker 7: to spend effort rather than for an e T or
- 39:58Speaker 7: some other sort of doctor. This is a very yeah
- 40:00Speaker 7: right relationship.
- 40:01Speaker 3: Right right, right, right right, Yeah.
- 40:03Speaker 2: I often go to anyone started the pit.
- 40:08Speaker 7: I decided this summer I'm going to watch it once
- 40:10Speaker 7: Gras is over for the year. I'll be more comfortable
- 40:12Speaker 7: watching it.
- 40:13Speaker 6: Alison watched tomorrow.
- 40:16Speaker 3: Three weeks.
- 40:17Speaker 6: Yeah, Alison watched it all.
- 40:19Speaker 8: I came in three quarters of the way through and
- 40:22Speaker 8: and she was like, I think you can just clock
- 40:24Speaker 8: in at five pm and and good enough.
- 40:27Speaker 6: And she was right. I was all in. I watched
- 40:30Speaker 6: last like four episodes, and I had a great time.
- 40:32Speaker 2: So I I think I have two left. I'm sad
- 40:35Speaker 2: because I went through it really fast. And life got busy,
- 40:38Speaker 2: and so I have just been inching through and I'm
- 40:41Speaker 2: sad that it's going to be over soon. But Jojo
- 40:44Speaker 2: watched the pole since she loved it too. Oh you did, okay,
- 40:50Speaker 2: and then she was like having a hard time getting
- 40:52Speaker 2: into the pit because it's very different, like you don't
- 40:54Speaker 2: have music, you don't have the soap opera drama of it,
- 40:58Speaker 2: but it's so good and I was like, just stick
- 41:00Speaker 2: with it. And then she texted me like the next
- 41:02Speaker 2: day and was like, I'm locked in so but you
- 41:06Speaker 2: watch the Pulse.
- 41:07Speaker 3: I love the Pulse.
- 41:08Speaker 2: Whoa, yeah, what is it like? Grace?
- 41:19Speaker 3: I guess in theory?
- 41:21Speaker 1: So I tried to harmonize.
- 41:23Speaker 3: I guess in theory. Yeah, I guess in theory or
- 41:27Speaker 3: so have you?
- 41:28Speaker 2: How many episodes are you in? Too? Okay? So you're
- 41:31Speaker 2: how many there are?
- 41:31Speaker 3: I don't know how many are of this season, but yeah,
- 41:33Speaker 3: I'm gonna watch it. The problem is is that.
- 41:37Speaker 5: When I have a show that's just my own, it's
- 41:39Speaker 5: hard to watch because my TV time is before we
- 41:41Speaker 5: go to bed, and then i'm that's like our when
- 41:44Speaker 5: we watch our show, we don't have a show wat
- 41:47Speaker 5: with you.
- 41:47Speaker 3: He's not into medical dramas.
- 41:49Speaker 2: Well, you weren't into drug dramas, so maybe he can
- 41:56Speaker 2: join in. Maybe the pit is the medical drama that
- 41:59Speaker 2: he can get it into.
- 42:00Speaker 1: Maybe the pit seems different than your average medical It
- 42:02Speaker 1: is it is.
- 42:03Speaker 7: It is, like I get he probably thinks you're all
- 42:05Speaker 7: like raising anatomy, and I understand his hesitance, but I
- 42:07Speaker 7: think you should get.
- 42:08Speaker 1: In on this the pit.
- 42:09Speaker 3: Yeah, well I'm watching the polls.
- 42:10Speaker 1: Okay, sorry after the Are you caught up on Grace Becca?
- 42:15Speaker 4: Nok?
- 42:16Speaker 2: And in fact, I haven't thought about it until you
- 42:18Speaker 2: just said that, So I.
- 42:21Speaker 3: How far back?
- 42:22Speaker 2: I don't even know.
- 42:23Speaker 7: I know, but I am caught up. But there was
- 42:24Speaker 7: a week off in there, so you're not as far
- 42:25Speaker 7: back as you think you might be.
- 42:27Speaker 2: Some good stuff happening.
- 42:28Speaker 7: I enjoyed the last episode quite a bit. Yeah interesting, Yeah,
- 42:31Speaker 7: really good ending.
- 42:32Speaker 2: Oh yeah, it's a Fia Bush still in there.
- 42:34Speaker 7: Not recently, but I think we're moving towards the finale
- 42:37Speaker 7: and that's always nice. And there's gonna be a wedding
- 42:39Speaker 7: in the finale, which is just comforting.
- 42:44Speaker 2: Oh, I know who's who? Camilla, Joe and Lee.
- 42:48Speaker 7: Joe and Lake are getting married and they're moving it
- 42:51Speaker 7: up because there was an opening, oh the chapel. Well
- 42:55Speaker 7: at this place, it's a long start.
- 42:58Speaker 2: I'll have to catch up. Well we speaking of having
- 43:04Speaker 2: to catch up, it's time to go. It's time to go.
- 43:07Speaker 2: We've caught up.
- 43:08Speaker 9: But don't worry, because we will be back in just
- 43:11Speaker 9: a mere forty eight hours with a new episode answering
- 43:15Speaker 9: all your burning questions and advice that you need in
- 43:21Speaker 9: a Dear Bonnie episode.
- 43:23Speaker 2: So until then, we love you so much
- 43:25Speaker 3: Love you, Bye bye bye,
