Transcript
- 0:00Hello, everyone. Welcome back to Eye Opener Society.
- 0:03Thank you so much again for pushing play. Thank you so much for joining us on this episode.
- 0:09Unfortunately, this episode, I don't have Hannah with me.
- 0:12This is kind of a special episode. So for those of you who listen to the show,
- 0:17I'm sure you heard Timelines and Tapestries where we had Ann Lund and Sunset Child on the show.
- 0:23And Ann Lund told a really fascinating story that even today I'm still fascinated with.
- 0:29And we kind of roundtabled it a little bit because it was more along the lines of a timeline shift.
- 0:37And it was just funny that when she told that story on that particular day,
- 0:40that night, I too experienced a timeline shift with my wife.
- 0:44So she has another one for us.
- 0:48And we tried to get a sunset child on here, but it's a 30 year anniversary.
- 0:53So we figured out it was a little bit more important than coming on this show.
- 0:56So since a child will not be here, but we do wish her a very happy anniversary.
- 1:01And if you want to become friends with her, she still hasn't gotten a business
- 1:05page like we asked her to. So she's just using her Facebook page under Sunset Child.
- 1:11She's more than happy to take you in as a friend and show you around.
- 1:14So who we have with us is Anne Lund, who has another story for us.
- 1:19And even more exciting, we have Elaine from Arcane Oracle.
- 1:24So welcome, ladies, to the show again. And I'm looking forward to this whole
- 1:30exciting story that we have here, Anne.
- 1:33Okay. Okay. So this story is, it's kind of short. It's a very strange story.
- 1:39So it starts off kind of sad. I had a dear friend who was in hospice care and
- 1:45this happened during COVID.
- 1:47So we didn't see each other a lot, but we were on the phone.
- 1:50I would say maybe like once a week.
- 1:52But I didn't, even though she was in hospice care, I didn't realize she was as sick as she was.
- 1:57So she, at this point of the story, she was at the end of her journey into transitioning.
- 2:03So she had called me and obviously I wanted to go visit her.
- 2:07So I went to visit her at the hospital.
- 2:10So if any of you are familiar with New York City, Langolm Hospital,
- 2:15I forget where it is, but it's in Manhattan, obviously.
- 2:18There's a giant statue of a dog in the front of the hospital.
- 2:23I want to say it's four stories high. It's huge.
- 2:26And it's a black and white dog. And I happen to have a black and white dog.
- 2:31So it's a Dalmatian, actually. So it's the same type of a dog.
- 2:35So when I went into the hospital to see her, the hospice nurse met me outside
- 2:40and said to me, when's the last time you spoke with your friend?
- 2:43And I had said two days ago. And she's like, well, she stopped talking.
- 2:47And she's very much unresponsive. But when you go in there, she won't have her
- 2:53eyes open. She won't move her head.
- 2:55She doesn't move anymore. But the last sense that we know that she was hospice
- 3:00nurse that leaves is her sense of hearing.
- 3:03So just talk to her as if she hears you, because I can almost guarantee you
- 3:07she's going to be able to hear you and she'll hear everything you say,
- 3:10but she's just not going to respond.
- 3:11And even if she doesn't look at you or turn her head or any facial gestures, she does hear you.
- 3:16So I said, fine. So I went in there and it was kind of awkward.
- 3:19I don't know if anybody ever gone to anyone in hospice, but like it's hard to
- 3:22have a conversation with someone who's not responding.
- 3:25And just like she said, she was just laying there, not saying anything,
- 3:29not any kind of expression whatsoever, even noticed that I was there.
- 3:33Her eyes were closed, what have you. So I thought to be funny,
- 3:37I would make a joke about this dog that was out on the front of the hospital,
- 3:42the statue, because I should preface this. She was obsessed with my dog.
- 3:47So whenever she came to my house, she adored my dog. We were Facebook friends.
- 3:51She was commenting on my dog, yada, yada, yada.
- 3:53So one of the things I said to her was, oh, I said, it's interesting.
- 3:57It figures that if you were going to find a hospital, you'd find one in a giant spot.
- 4:02Let's say my dog's name is Spot, which it's not on the front.
- 4:05And she turned her head,
- 4:08didn't open her eyes and she smiled. So I know that was affirmation to me that she heard me.
- 4:15But then that was it. That was the only, you know, I was there for maybe an hour, an hour and a half.
- 4:19That was the only time she ever let on that she knew I was there.
- 4:24So, so that, that's the story. So I go home that night and for some reason,
- 4:29I don't know, maybe to go to the bathroom, whatever.
- 4:31I woke up the middle of the night, I want to say three, four o'clock in the
- 4:34morning and I couldn't go back to sleep.
- 4:36So I did what a lot of people do. I went on my phone and the first thing I did
- 4:39was check my social media.
- 4:40Um, and at that time, um, do you know the stories on social media when you post
- 4:45a story and then it just, it goes on and then it disappears and you can't see it again.
- 4:50Like somebody, like we would just, now it posts on your timeline so you could see it.
- 4:54But at that time when somebody posted a story, you, you see it and then it ran
- 4:59for the 10 seconds and then it disappeared and then you couldn't see it anymore.
- 5:03You couldn't even go to the person's page to see it. So when I turned on my
- 5:07phone to check my social media, I was shocked that there was a picture of the
- 5:13dog from the front of the hospital, from the hospital. It was the actual hospital dog, the statue.
- 5:19And it was her. She had posted it. Okay, so I smiled. I'm like,
- 5:24oh, my gosh, she must be doing better.
- 5:25Like, she must be up, you know, and she just posted this picture, you know, whatever.
- 5:30And then I went to her page, and of course, there was nothing there.
- 5:33And I think the last post on her page was something from like a week ago,
- 5:37whatever, when she was still like talking and whatever. Thought nothing of it.
- 5:41Wake up in the front, fell asleep, wake up in the morning and check my social
- 5:46media again. And the first thing I did was go to her page.
- 5:49And on her page, it was the classic heaven gained an angel last night.
- 5:56This people posting on her page that she had passed and then I went to her husband's
- 6:02page and he posted this whole thing that she had passed overnight.
- 6:06So now that's my story. Now, just to add a little bit of a, you know,
- 6:11I think this is a crisis apparition personally.
- 6:13But what happened was her husband, as it would have it, ended up dating another
- 6:20friend of our mutual friend.
- 6:22And they're kind of they're dating, like seriously dating steady,
- 6:26so to speak. And, you know, I had called him the day that she passed away.
- 6:31And, of course, I wasn't going to ask him this, right? This is like the last
- 6:33thing I was going to ask him.
- 6:35But then I ended up going on a double date like two years later with him and
- 6:40my friend, my other friend.
- 6:42And at dinner, I was like trying to muster up the courage to kind of ask something along those lines.
- 6:47So I basically said to him, you know, listen, the last day when she was in the
- 6:51hospital, by any chance, did she come out?
- 6:54Did she talk because they say sometimes people come out and you
- 6:57know um the last moments of life they seem like
- 7:00they are getting their um courage back their strength back whatever and
- 7:03he said no no she never came out and then i asked him if she had her cell phone
- 7:07and he thought that was an odd question and i i kind of told him what i what
- 7:11i just told you and um of course this is what always happens you get this like
- 7:14face and that's why i don't even tell people anymore um he did believe me, but I don't know.
- 7:20So anyway, that's my story. Very
- 7:22quick, very odd. I still have no explanation for it. I know what I saw.
- 7:28And I actually have a screenshot of that picture because when I was at the hospital, I took that.
- 7:35I took the same picture that she posted because I thought it was funny because
- 7:39it looked just like my dog.
- 7:41So anyway, that's my story. Well, you definitely shock me again with another
- 7:47fantastic, fantastic story.
- 7:49And yeah, I have my thoughts on that. But Elaine, I want to turn to you.
- 7:55What are your thoughts? How do you feel about this crisis apparition,
- 8:00timeline shift? What's your thoughts on this?
- 8:04Well, you know, I am inclined to agree with Anne that probably an example of
- 8:11a crisis, what we would call a crisis apparition.
- 8:14However, I'm sure that Anne would also agree that the word crisis apparition
- 8:20is kind of an umbrella term. It's not necessarily a crisis all the time.
- 8:26I mean, they do appear, of course, in moments of danger or distress.
- 8:31I apologize for background noise um but
- 8:34i i forget the technical term in
- 8:37folklore if it's a a final visitation
- 8:41um if that's also an interchangeable term with crisis apparition but yes i would
- 8:48agree with ann that it is one of those experiences where whenever a spirit a
- 8:54soul is transitioning from the living dimension into the hereafter um.
- 9:02It's been widely reported, various different reports, cases,
- 9:06personal experiences all over the world, that there is this tendency to contact,
- 9:12to say goodbye to the most important people in their lives as they go.
- 9:18Yeah. Yeah, I like that.
- 9:23And just from hearing this story, man, I really wish Sunset Chow was here.
- 9:28I can tell you what she said.
- 9:30That would be great. Yeah. What did Sunset Child when you told her?
- 9:35So she is very much into like these timeline shifts and that in some timeline,
- 9:42she's still she didn't pass away in some timeline that her and I are involved in.
- 9:48And she is was very much alive at that time. And she was just sending me a like
- 9:54she was putting it on her story just to kind of let me know she was OK.
- 9:58Okay like i'm fine you know like that's fine
- 10:01i'm just that was a very funny thing you you did when you mentioned the
- 10:04dog ha ha how's your dog so she's
- 10:07she sees it as that um i see it as um and i do agree with elaine like the price
- 10:13separation is kind of like it makes it sound like somebody's in crisis and i
- 10:16think when you transition you're not necessarily always in crisis i think my
- 10:20friend was prepared to transition because when i spoke with her um a few days
- 10:23earlier she was she had accepted the fact that she was comfortable with it.
- 10:27But to me, I see it as she was giving me a thank you for coming.
- 10:34Yes, that does look like your dog. That was very funny. You made me smile.
- 10:38And I'm acknowledging and I'm passing on. You know, I'm going,
- 10:40I'm just saying goodbye. The only way I can say goodbye at this point, you know.
- 10:45So, but Sunset saw it as a different timeline. She's still alive and,
- 10:49you know, that would be nice.
- 10:52I got you. So Elaine, what do you think about that? Do you feel that it could
- 10:57have also been a timeline shift?
- 11:00Well, anything is possible. And
- 11:03my knowledge as far as timeline
- 11:06shifts is limited compared to what I know about paranormal and supernatural
- 11:16experiences as far as the more traditional ghost story or encounter with the
- 11:23spirit world side of things.
- 11:25Um, but it does sound from what Anne described, it does sound like the,
- 11:31the classic story of a final visitation.
- 11:35Um, and that the, the Facebook story, um, I, I know I've had personal experiences.
- 11:42I won't unpack all that right here, but I, I've heard time and again,
- 11:46and I'm sure you both have as well of signs right after a loved one has passed
- 11:52of some sort of signal that's like,
- 11:55I still exist.
- 11:58I am still here.
- 12:00And perhaps that story, it's sort of like in yesteryear, oftentimes it was a
- 12:07phone call in the middle of the night.
- 12:10You can't really prove that it happened. Maybe you're not even sure personally
- 12:15that it really happened.
- 12:16Maybe you dreamed it. Maybe it was a grief hallucination or something like that.
- 12:20That's what a lot of people say after they've had those kind of experiences, you know,
- 12:26or something's moved around in the grieving person's environment or the smell
- 12:32of the person's perfume or cologne out of nowhere.
- 12:36Their favorite bird appearing in the window. So it's the phenomenon of after
- 12:42someone we love or after someone that was close to us passes,
- 12:46it's like they're thoughtful enough in the spirit world to send the living a
- 12:52calling card, just a confirmation.
- 12:55I'm still here. It's okay. I made it. I crossed over.
- 13:01And that's what it sounds like to me. All of it put together.
- 13:04But then again, I'm a little bit ignorant of timeline shifts.
- 13:08Yeah. yeah yeah i can agree so here's my here's just my take on this because.
- 13:16I can agree with the timeline shift
- 13:20and it's not so much then i'm you know connected well with
- 13:23sunset child on this but i will say
- 13:26this there's always going to be that timeline because
- 13:29like we you know discussed even in our last one timelines and
- 13:32tapestries that there's always going to be always numerous timelines so your
- 13:39friend is both alive and well she's passed on uh so all that's existing all
- 13:47on different levels on different planes no matter what happened,
- 13:51So I think that's the key as far as being able to transmit something electronically
- 13:57or whatever it may be that people can do because they are on another timeline.
- 14:04So yes, I, I hold credence to the timeline thing.
- 14:10However, it's just, it's a little bit too much of a personal message.
- 14:16You know, that's the other thing. Like you're talking about the dog,
- 14:19the dog, that looks like your dog, which you told her when you spoke to her last.
- 14:23That's a very, very personal message. And I do believe that crisis apparition
- 14:29or whatever, I mean, just an apparition itself.
- 14:32Cause I think we can manifest ourselves into any form.
- 14:38And I think even electronically, which is probably a lot easier because from
- 14:43what I understand, a lot of like ghost apparitions, they use that power in electronics,
- 14:47especially they harness that power.
- 14:49They're able to do, you know, certain things and manipulate certain things.
- 14:54So I'm right in between both of them, but I do believe it was more or less an
- 14:59apparition sending you a message.
- 15:02But again, the only way to really do that is again, we're always,
- 15:06even me, I'm not alive right now in a different timeline, you know,
- 15:10but I'm alive in this one.
- 15:12And, you know, that's where a lot of this communication comes from, I feel.
- 15:18So I'm, like I said, I'm right in between, I'm right in the middle on that one.
- 15:22And I hate to, you know, not be so definitive with that.
- 15:25But that's just what I feel. I really think.
- 15:29That it was though a very personal message. And I don't think it could have
- 15:34just been any apparition or anything like that.
- 15:37It was your friend. It was coming from a spiritual realm.
- 15:41But again, that spiritual realm could have been coming from that other timeline.
- 15:46Yeah. And I've actually like, I've entertained, um, the possibility in the past
- 15:52like that, you know, maybe I just drunked it, you know?
- 15:55Um, but I think, you know, we've had this conversation before.
- 15:57I meditate every day, twice a day, like religiously.
- 16:02And I mean, maybe I'm sure you've heard of, you know, people that can kind of
- 16:07get out of their bodies when they meditate and do things like that,
- 16:09which I don't think I can do that.
- 16:11I've had one experience where it was, I think I may have, but I've learned when
- 16:15I meditate to, because your meditations could be so vivid, to let myself know
- 16:21when it's an actual physical thing, as opposed to like, I'm in my mind.
- 16:25And what I'll do is, if I can feel my hands, then I know that I'm,
- 16:30it's the physical world, right?
- 16:32And so that night, when, well, part of me was thinking about them,
- 16:38like, am I dreaming this? It's like, she literally on her phone.
- 16:41And that was one of the things I did. I gave myself a test and I was like,
- 16:44no, I can feel my hands. I'm awake. I'm definitely awake.
- 16:46Like I do this regularly now because I meditate a lot.
- 16:50Sometimes it's hard. The line between being what's like
- 16:53physical and what's on the other side is it's really
- 16:56thin so i've thought about that
- 16:59but i know i was awake i am sure i was awake so and it was very personal because
- 17:04it was the the only thing that i spoke to her where she seemed like she heard
- 17:08me because the rest of the time she was just laying there she wasn't moving
- 17:13she just was like like if you walked into someone's room when they're sleeping,
- 17:17it was the only time she acknowledged me was the comment on the dog so it's
- 17:22kind of interesting yeah absolutely interesting indeed Elaine do you want to add anything to that.
- 17:29That was a beautiful story and um thank
- 17:32you for sharing that with us that was a
- 17:35really you know it's really moving story of a transition and whether it was
- 17:40a timeline shift or a final visitation a crisis apparition um it does sound
- 17:48like a blessing and an honor to have experienced that with another soul at any rate.
- 17:54And it was certainly great to hear that story.
- 17:57You're welcome. It was a, it was a nice moment for sure. Shocking,
- 18:00but nice at the same time.
- 18:01It doesn't scare me. I just, it's, um, it's a nice memory, I guess I could say
- 18:06that I, you know, in my heart, I feel like it was real. So yeah.
- 18:11Well, perfect. I really, I'm enjoying these little group chats that we've been doing.
- 18:18I think we're going to be doing these a lot more because I got so much more
