- 0:00Chapters 3 and 4 from the prophet Malachi.
- 0:06Let's get started first with a prayer.
- 0:07Dear Lord, please be with us as we read through these chapters
- 0:11and open our hearts, our minds and knowledge to receive what
- 0:18you have given to Malachi and to apply to our own lives.
- 0:22We ask this in Jesus name Amen. Oi will read through chaters 3
- 0:27and 4, then I will go through the study Bible questions and
- 0:31answers, and then I will get into the things that came to
- 0:35mind as I read through this. O it starts out I will send my
- 0:39messenger who will prepare the way before me.
- 0:43Then suddenly the Lord you are seeking will come to his temple.
- 0:49The messenger of the covenant whom you desire will come, says
- 0:53the Lord Almighty. But who can endure the day of
- 0:56his coming? Who can stand when he appears?
- 1:00For he will be like a refiner's fire or a launderer's soap.
- 1:05He will sit as a refiner and purifier of silver.
- 1:09He will purify the Levites and refine them like gold and
- 1:13silver. Then the Lord will have men who
- 1:17will bring offerings in righteousness, and the offerings
- 1:20of Judah and Jerusalem will be acceptable to the Lord as in
- 1:24days gone by, as in former years.
- 1:27So I will come to put you on trial.
- 1:31I will be quick to testify against sorcerers, adulterers,
- 1:37perjurers, against those who defraud laborers of their wages,
- 1:42who oppose the widows and the fatherless, and deprive the
- 1:45foreigners among you of justice. But do not fear me, says the
- 1:49Lord. I, the Lord, do not change, so
- 1:54you, the descendants of Jacob, are not destroyed.
- 1:58Ever since the time of your ancestors, you have turned away
- 2:01from my decrees and have not kept them.
- 2:03Return to me and I will return to you, says the Lord Almighty.
- 2:08But you ask, how are we to return?
- 2:11Will a mere mortal rob God? Yet you rob me.
- 2:15But you ask, how are we robbing you in tithes and offerings?
- 2:20You are under a curse, your whole nation, because you are
- 2:24robbing me. Bring the whole tithe into the
- 2:27storehouse, that there may be food in my house.
- 2:30Test me in this, says the Lord Almighty, and see if I will not
- 2:34throw open the floodgates of heaven and pour out so much
- 2:38blessing that there will not be enough room to store it.
- 2:42I will prevent pest from devouring your crops, and the
- 2:45vines in your fields will not drop their fruit before it's
- 2:48ripe, says the Lord Almighty. Then all the nations will call
- 2:52you blessed, for yours will be a delightful land, says the Lord
- 2:57Almighty. You have spoken arrogantly
- 3:00against me, says the Lord. Yet you ask, what have we said
- 3:05against you? You have said it is futile to
- 3:08serve God. What?
- 3:10What do we gain by carrying out His requirements of going about
- 3:13like the mourners before the Lord Almighty?
- 3:15But now we call the arrogant blessed certain.
- 3:19Certainly evil. Evil doers prosper, and even
- 3:22when they put God to the test, they get away with it.
- 3:27Then those who feared the Lord talked with each other, and the
- 3:31Lord listened and heard. A scroll of remembrance was
- 3:35written in his presence concerning those who feared the
- 3:39Lord and honored His name on that day.
- 3:44When I act, says the Lord Almighty, they will be my
- 3:47treasured possession. I will spare them, just as a
- 3:52father has compassion and spares his Son who serves him.
- 3:57And you will again see the distinction between the
- 4:01righteous and the wicked, between those who serve God and
- 4:06those who do not. Chapter 4.
- 4:09Surely the day is coming, it will burn like a furnace.
- 4:12All the arrogant and every evil doer will be stubble.
- 4:16And the day that is coming will set them on fire, says the Lord
- 4:19Almighty. Not a root or a branch will be
- 4:22left in them, but for you who Revere my name.
- 4:25The Sun of Righteousness will rise with healing in its rays,
- 4:30and you will go out and frolic like well fed calves.
- 4:34Then you will trample on the wicked.
- 4:36They will be ashes under the soles of your feet.
- 4:39On the day when I act, says the Lord Almighty, remember the law
- 4:43of my servant Moses, the decrees and laws I gave him at Horeb for
- 4:47all of Israel. See, I will send the prophet
- 4:50Elijah to you before the great and dreadful day of the Lord
- 4:54comes. He will turn the hearts of the
- 4:57parents to their children and hearts of the children to their
- 5:01parents, or else I will come and strike the land with total
- 5:06destruction. And that's the end of chapter 3
- 5:09and 4. So I'll read what the study
- 5:11Bible questions and answers are. And actually, I think I forgot a
- 5:15couple from chapter 2, so I'm going to read that one.
- 5:20So when do our words push God too far?
- 5:24Other places in the Bible, especially the book of Job, show
- 5:27that the living God welcomes our words, even words of doubt,
- 5:32frustration, and need when we emerge from our attempts to be
- 5:39faithful and obedient to Him. But some words come out of cold
- 5:43indifference to the will and glory of God when people try to
- 5:46justify themselves by saying everyone does it, so my sin
- 5:51can't be that serious of a problem.
- 5:53Their rationalization provokes God's wrath.
- 5:59Whom does this promised messenger refer to?
- 6:01This refers to John the Baptist, the one sent to prepare the way
- 6:06for the Messiah. What is the refiner's fire?
- 6:11This is the process by which precious metals are shaped.
- 6:14The Goldsmith Stokes up the fire until it's hot enough to burn
- 6:18away all the impurities. Similarly, when the living God
- 6:22comes, he burns away everything in us that displeases Him.
- 6:28What is launderer's soap? The alkaline Lye used to bleach
- 6:33dirty garments white Only because God comes as fire and
- 6:39soap Can we offer pure offerings and worship to the Holy One,
- 6:44which provides the promise in 111.
- 6:51How does fearing God lead to social justice?
- 6:56Israel's fear of God, or lack of it, influence the way she
- 6:59structured her society, laws, and commerce.
- 7:03Those who fear God also fear offending God by committing
- 7:07injustice. Those who love God reach out to
- 7:10the poor, the vulnerable, and the needy, doing what they can
- 7:14to alleviate hardship. Do we have to tithe?
- 7:18The word tithe simply means 10th to 10th means to offer to God
- 7:25the 1st, 10th of whatever God gives.
- 7:28Abraham offered it, and the Mosaic Law required it as an act
- 7:33of gratitude and allegiance. The New Testament does not
- 7:37directly teach the tithe, possibly because it may be
- 7:40assumed not as the goal but as the starting place.
- 7:44The New Testament teaches us to use all we are and do for all we
- 7:50are and do for the glory of God. Should we give in order to get?
- 7:55God is saying that if we choose to be generous, He will keep
- 7:59giving to us so that we can continue our lifestyle of
- 8:02giving. Giving the the tithe does not
- 8:06require God to make us rich. Giving the tithe is our way of
- 8:10telling God, I trust you to give me all I need to follow you in a
- 8:15life of generosity. Was God offended by their
- 8:19doubts? Their expression of doubt was
- 8:22not the problem. Many of God's people have
- 8:24forcefully expressed doubt, including David, Job, Jeremiah,
- 8:30Habakkuk. The problem was that the people
- 8:34weren't serious about serving God.
- 8:39What was a scroll of remembrance?
- 8:41God remembers those who honor Him.
- 8:43Even if faithful people feel forgotten, acts of loyalty to
- 8:47God will be rewarded in due time.
- 8:50How can we tell good people from bad?
- 8:53We can't always tell, though. In the previous verses of this
- 8:56chapter, God does provide insight into what pleases Him.
- 9:00However, this verse speaks of a coming judgment when God will
- 9:04reveal the righteous and unrighteous.
- 9:07Will evil doers literally burn? The picture here is of the good
- 9:12grain having been harvested and the remaining stubble being set
- 9:18on fire so that the field can be used.
- 9:21Again, this may be a figurative, not necessarily literal,
- 9:25description of judgement. However, the Bible does
- 9:29frequently refer to the burning of the wicked.
- 9:32What is the Sun of Righteousness?
- 9:35After the firestorm sweeps through, a new day will dawn.
- 9:40The sunrise Malachi had in mind was the coming of God's Messiah,
- 9:45Jesus Christ. How do rays heal?
- 9:49Just as the sun rises and spreads its rays in every
- 9:53direction, bringing light and warmth, so Jesus Christ, when He
- 9:57brings salvation, brings light, warmth and healing.
- 10:02Do these verses suggest that Elijah will be reincarnated?
- 10:06These verses are a commentary on chapter 3, verse one, which
- 10:11predicts the coming of a messenger who will prepare the
- 10:14way for the coming Messiah. Though many people thought this
- 10:18meant that Elijah would return from the dead before the great
- 10:22and terrible day of the Lord, Jesus redirected that thinking
- 10:25by saying that Elijah had already come in the person of
- 10:29John the Baptist. How could God strike the land?
- 10:34This was a figurative way of describing the negative
- 10:36consequences of sin in the land. When people rebel against God,
- 10:40the fallout effects many others besides those who have sinned.
- 10:44In this case, Malachi was alluding to the curse of
- 10:47breakdowns in family relationships.
- 10:49If parents and children did not turn to God, they would be
- 10:53unable to turn to each other. And that concludes all of what's
- 10:58in the study Bible. But there were so many things
- 11:01that I noticed when I was reading through this.
- 11:04And so I will continue on with those those things.
- 11:08And one of them was preparing the way.
- 11:11And it's interesting because this is the very first verse I
- 11:15will send my messenger who will prepare the way before me.
- 11:19And as the study Bible said, this is referring to John the
- 11:21Baptist. A lot of the times it goes back
- 11:24to Isaiah, who was a much earlier prophet and he had in
- 11:29Isaiah 40, verse three, it said a voice of one calling in the
- 11:34wilderness. Prepare the way for the Lord
- 11:37mate, straight in the desert, a highway for our God.
- 11:42In Isaiah 6210 it says pass through, pass through the gates.
- 11:46Prepare the way for the people, build up, build up the highway,
- 11:50remove the stones, raise a banner for the nations.
- 11:55And then in Malachi there was a couple times in chapter 3 when
- 11:59it talked about preparing the way.
- 12:02I will send my messenger who will prepare the way before me.
- 12:04Then suddenly the Lord you are seeking will come to his temple.
- 12:09The messenger of the covenant whom you desire will come, says
- 12:13the Lord Almighty. This is talking about Jesus.
- 12:17Then in first in Matthew verse 3 or Matthew chapter 3 verse 3,
- 12:24this is he who was spoken of through the prophet Isaiah, a
- 12:28voice of one calling in the wilderness for the way for the
- 12:31Lord make straight paths for him.
- 12:34So that was Isaiah chapter 40, verse 3 in in Matthew, it's
- 12:39written about and it's referring to John the Baptist In Matthew
- 12:44chapter 3, verse one, it says in those days John the Baptist came
- 12:50preaching in the wilderness of Judea and saying repent for the
- 12:56Kingdom of heaven has come near. This is he who was spoken of
- 13:03through the prophet Isaiah, a voice of one calling in the
- 13:05wilderness, prepare the way for the Lord, make straight paths
- 13:09for him. And then it talks a little bit
- 13:12more about a John the Baptist, but I'm going to go back to
- 13:21oops, I did the wrong thing. I oh shoot, I got lost on my OK,
- 13:34I had these all these tabs opened up for different parts in
- 13:38the Bible. So it in Mark, it also says the
- 13:41same thing. Mark chapter one, verse 3, a
- 13:44voice of one calling in the wilderness.
- 13:46Prepare the way for the Lord, make straight paths for him.
- 13:50And then in Luke chapter one, verse 76, this is and you, my
- 14:00child will be called a prophet of the Most High, for you will
- 14:04go on before the Lord to prepare the way for him.
- 14:08Now this is again who was being spoken to.
- 14:16This was Zechariah who is being spoken to, and this is a John
- 14:23the Baptist dad. So it says, let's see, it talks
- 14:29about the birth of John the Baptist in Luke chapter 1.
- 14:34And then there's this part in the Study Bible that says
- 14:37Zechariah's song. And it says his father Zechariah
- 14:40was filled with the Holy Spirit and prophesied, praise be to the
- 14:45Lord the God of Israel, because he has come to his people and
- 14:48redeemed them. He has raised up a horn of
- 14:51salvation for us in the House of His servant David, as He said
- 14:56through His holy prophets long ago.
- 14:59Salvation from our enemies and from the hand of all who hate
- 15:03us. To show mercy to our ancestors
- 15:06and to remember His holy covenant, the oath He swore to
- 15:11our Father Abraham to rescue us from the hands of our enemies
- 15:15and to enable us to serve Him without fear, in holiness and
- 15:19righteousness before Him all our days.
- 15:22And you, my child, will be called a prophet, the Most High,
- 15:27for you will go on before the Lord to prepare the way for him,
- 15:32to give his people the knowledge of salvation through the
- 15:37forgiveness of their sins, because of the tender mercy of
- 15:42our God, by which the rising sun will come to us from heaven to
- 15:47shine on those living in darkness and in the shadow of
- 15:51death, to guide our feet into the path of peace.
- 15:55And the child grew and became strong in spirit, and he lived
- 16:00in the wilderness until he appeared publicly to Israel.
- 16:05So this was Zechariah talking to his son John the Baptist.
- 16:15And that's again repeated in Luke chapter 3 as it is written
- 16:19in the book of the words of the Isaiah, the prophet, a voice of
- 16:23one calling in the wilderness, Prepare the way for the Lord,
- 16:26make straight paths for him. Then what's really interesting
- 16:31is it's almost like the opposite when I just search, prepare the
- 16:35way. And what's interesting is this
- 16:38is when the trumpets start blowing in the Book of
- 16:42Revelation or not the trumpets, I'm sorry, it's the bowl.
- 16:47But the 6th Angel, this is Revelation 16 chapter 16, verse
- 16:5112. The 6th Angel poured out his
- 16:55bowl on the great river Euphrates and it's water was
- 17:00dried up to prepare the way for the kings from the east.
- 17:06Now these are not good kings if you get into that.
- 17:09It's they talk about like demons and also impure spirits that
- 17:13come out of the mouths. And so there's and this is about
- 17:18they, they gathered the kings together to the place that in
- 17:22Hebrew is called Armageddon. So this is that that great
- 17:26battle of the evil ones that are, that are coming through.
- 17:30So that is interesting because even though, you know, John the
- 17:34Baptist was preparing for Jesus, it's almost like there's a
- 17:38prepared way for the evil one. It's like a copy.
- 17:41A lot of people have said this about just like in the end
- 17:44times, how there's going to be a false Messiah.
- 17:47There's going to be like the opposite.
- 17:49There's going to be good and evil.
- 17:50It's it's ultimately like a battle between good and evil and
- 17:54less of deception too. But there's going to be a false
- 17:58prophet, There's going to be the Antichrist, There's going to be
- 18:03the beast, which is really an alliance of nations that come
- 18:06together and they're just they're on the enemy's team.
- 18:11They're not on God's team. So just this prepare the way
- 18:15theme is kind of interesting. Let's see, there was something
- 18:22else, oh that I was reading. So verse one I will send my
- 18:27messenger who will prepare the way before me.
- 18:31So obviously that is John the Baptist multiple times in
- 18:33Scripture. Here's what's interesting.
- 18:36The next thing then suddenly the Lord you are seeking will come
- 18:42to his temple. And what's interesting is
- 18:47because when I read that I thought, oh, I wonder if that
- 18:49means that a temple will be built when Jesus comes.
- 18:53Maybe, maybe not. So I did look up the word and
- 18:57it's Heckel and I'm probably not pronouncing it correctly, but it
- 19:03is. Let's see it's I don't know if I
- 19:07have the strong's word, but it it says probably it's a large
- 19:14public building such as a palace or temple.
- 19:19So it could be something there's, there's some, I guess
- 19:22the place where God wants to reside on the definitions or the
- 19:27outline of the biblical usage talks about palace, temple,
- 19:31nave, sanctuary, hall. So there's a lot of different
- 19:37ways, but some place of, of presence.
- 19:40But it says then suddenly, and that word suddenly kind of stood
- 19:44out to me because of the way that it describes the day of the
- 19:50Lord. And and so I did look up the day
- 19:53of the Lord because it says, but who can endure the day of his
- 19:58coming? This is the coming of Jesus.
- 20:01So who can stand when he appears?
- 20:06And this is I, I thought there's so many times where many of the
- 20:10prophets talk about the day of the Lord.
- 20:13So I went ahead and searched the day of the Lord and there's 19
- 20:18exact phrases. And so I will kind of read
- 20:22through those because a lot of them are from the prophets.
- 20:26And then there's also some New Testament references as well.
- 20:30So starting with Isaiah chapter 13 verse 6, wail for the day of
- 20:37the Lord is near. It will come like destruction
- 20:41from the Almighty. In Isaiah 13 verse 9, see the
- 20:47day of the Lord is coming, a cruel day with wrath and fierce
- 20:51anger to make the land desolate and destroy the sinners within
- 20:56it. And then Ezekiel talks about it
- 21:00in chapter 13 and chapter 30. So in chapter 13 he says you
- 21:06have not gone to the gone up to the breeches in the wall to
- 21:10repair it for the people of Israel so that it will stand
- 21:13firm in the battle on the day of the Lord.
- 21:18In chapter 30, he talks about for the day is near, the day of
- 21:21the Lord is near, a day of clouds, a time of doom for the
- 21:27nations. And then Joel, another prophet,
- 21:31talks about this day, alas for that day, For the day of the
- 21:35Lord is near. It will come like destruction
- 21:38from the Almighty. That's exactly like what Isaiah
- 21:43said. Joel and Isaiah said the exact
- 21:45same thing pretty much. Isaiah's was whale For the day
- 21:50of the Lord is near. It will come like destruction
- 21:52from the Almighty. And then Joel said, Alas for the
- 21:56day, for the day of the Lord is near, it will come like
- 21:58destruction from the Almighty. Then in chapter 2, Joel says,
- 22:03Blow the trumpet in Zion, sound the alarm on my holy hill, let
- 22:07all who live in the land tremble, for the day of the Lord
- 22:11is coming. It is close at hand.
- 22:15A little bit later in the chapter 2, it says the Lord
- 22:18thunders at the head of his army.
- 22:21His forces are beyond number, and mighty is the army that
- 22:26obeys his command. The day of the Lord is great, it
- 22:31is dreadful. Who can endure it?
- 22:34That's exactly like what Malachi said.
- 22:36Who can stand when he appears? So this is the same thing Joel
- 22:42chapter 3 says multitudes, multitudes in the valley of
- 22:46decision for the day of the Lord is near in the valley of
- 22:51decision. Amos, another prophet said, woe
- 22:57to you who long for the day of the Lord.
- 23:00Why do you long for the day of the Lord?
- 23:02That day will be darkness, not light.
- 23:07And then a little bit later he says, will you will not the day
- 23:10of the Lord be darkness, not light, pitch dark without a ray
- 23:15of brightness. When I had, I had, I started
- 23:21having dreams and I have I've had three rapture dreams and
- 23:26each one of the rapture dreams were like different scenes, but
- 23:30in every single one of them, everything went black.
- 23:33And so when, and this was before, like very early on, my
- 23:38first rapture dream was in 2022 and then my next one I think was
- 23:44just shortly after that, I had a second one.
- 23:48And then about nine months later I had a third one.
- 23:52So I think that was like in 23 when I had that in like January
- 23:55of 23. So it's very interesting.
- 23:58They all kind of, but they all had that same detail that it
- 24:01just went pitch black 1st and then light came.
- 24:05And that's what I found in scripture.
- 24:07And I, I had read the Bible, but I hadn't studied it like I had.
- 24:11I just read the Bible for the first time in 2019.
- 24:15And over the, the years I've been studying it more.
- 24:19But it was very interesting that my dreams, I would start to look
- 24:22up, does it really say this in the Bible?
- 24:25And then I would find that it does a lot of the things that I
- 24:27was shown in my dream. So it's very interesting.
- 24:32So then Obadiah is another prophet and he said the day of
- 24:35the Lord is near for all nations.
- 24:37As you have done, it will be done to you.
- 24:40Your deeds will return upon your head.
- 24:42Well, Obadiah is saying something that we've heard quite
- 24:44a lot recently. It's about reaping and sowing
- 24:48that what you sow you will reap. So if it's good or if it's bad,
- 24:54what you sow is what you will reap.
- 24:56And Obadiah says that now the day of the Lord is near for all
- 24:59the nations. As you have done, it will be
- 25:02done to you. Your deeds will return upon your
- 25:05own head. Zephaniah, another one.
- 25:09Be silent before the sovereign Lord, for the day of the Lord is
- 25:13near. The Lord has prepared a
- 25:14sacrifice. He has consecrated those he has
- 25:17invited. A little bit later he says the
- 25:21great day of the Lord is near, near and coming quickly.
- 25:26The cry on the day of the Lord is bitter.
- 25:29The mighty warrior shouts his battle cry, and that's the end.
- 25:34Those are all prophets, and they were all talking about the day
- 25:37of the Lord. And obviously the day of the
- 25:40Lord has not come yet, and we're still talking about the future
- 25:44day of the Lord, the day that Jesus returns and he was
- 25:49returning for a battle. As Zephaniah said, the mighty
- 25:53warrior shouts his battle cry. So Paul talks about it too in
- 25:59First Corinthian, First Corinthians 5 verse 5, and he's
- 26:04talking about a man who was in a church and he was sexually
- 26:10immoral and nobody was saying anything to him about, but I
- 26:13guess he was in like leadership or something.
- 26:16And So what he said to them, this is what Paul said, hand
- 26:19this man over to Satan for the destruction of the flesh so that
- 26:25his spirit may be saved on the day of the Lord.
- 26:30And that gives us a lot of insight.
- 26:32Like he was like, just, I guess, let him continue what he's
- 26:36doing. Because, you know, just as we've
- 26:39talked about in podcasts on the in the past, is that Satan is
- 26:42very manipulative. He will put something really
- 26:46appealing in front of people, especially when it gets into
- 26:49like sexual immorality and stuff like that because our world is
- 26:54so full of that and, and it's appealing to people so they go
- 26:57after it. I mean the same thing that we
- 26:59talked about before with Balaam and how Balaam and Balak and
- 27:04that's how the Israelites fell away from God through sexual
- 27:09immorality. It's like 2 things that are like
- 27:11the, the strongest things that Satan has power over people.
- 27:16It's sex and idolatry. So when we're putting something
- 27:20else more important than God, and when we're just pleasing our
- 27:25physical self but not righteously, like God designed
- 27:31us a certain way, but there's a way that's appropriate and a way
- 27:35that's inappropriate. And our world pretty much
- 27:37operates on the inappropriate non-stop.
- 27:40And people don't seem to think there's anything wrong with it
- 27:43anymore because people are not close to God and they're not
- 27:47reading their Bibles because it's very clear that this is
- 27:50something that God does not tolerate.
- 27:54Anyway. Just like Paul's saying, turn
- 27:57this man over to Satan for the destruction of his flesh so that
- 28:00his spirit may be saved on the day of the Lord.
- 28:04A lot of times God will, you know, he gives us free will.
- 28:08We choose something that we know is bad for us.
- 28:14And God just says, OK, you can do it.
- 28:16That's your choice. I'm not going to force you, but
- 28:18you're going to have consequences of that.
- 28:21And eventually, because of who Satan is, he is just seeking to
- 28:27kill and destroy. So he's going to start out, it's
- 28:29going to be real good for a little bit, but then he's going
- 28:32to do something. He's going to influence some way
- 28:35so that it becomes awful that it doesn't turn into something
- 28:40good. And you can like look back in
- 28:42the past and probably see examples of this in your own
- 28:46life where you've you've done something that wasn't right and
- 28:50you continue doing it. And then what you found out was
- 28:54that eventually it became something very destructive.
- 29:00And that's exactly what Satan does, because he's not looking
- 29:03at, he's not looking to give you joy and give you happiness.
- 29:07He wants to destroy you. He's seeking like who can I
- 29:10influence who is weak in their relationship with God where I
- 29:15can come in and deceive them and manipulate them so they serve
- 29:20him, so they serve Satan and in disobedience to God.
- 29:25Because then he gets at God and then eventually he'll just
- 29:29destroy the person. And that's what his plan is.
- 29:33And people are suckers for it. They just fall for it.
- 29:36And until somebody wakes up and their eyes are opened and then
- 29:41they don't fall for it anymore. But it's, it's the evil one
- 29:44that's just trying to destroy people, trying to keep people
- 29:47from receiving the inheritance that God has planned for them
- 29:52because they've rejected God. And if you reject, if you reject
- 29:56Jesus the Son of God, you're not going to be in God's Kingdom.
- 30:00If you don't have the Holy Spirit, you're not going to be
- 30:02in God's Kingdom because Jesus said that.
- 30:05So that's where the enemy is deceiving people like do you do
- 30:11you have the Holy Spirit? Do you know if you have the Holy
- 30:13Spirit? If you have the Holy Spirit,
- 30:16there's what they call the fruit of the Holy Spirit.
- 30:18You can find that in Galatians chapter 5 verse 22.
- 30:22I think through, I don't know how far it goes, but talks about
- 30:25like people who live worldly and the characteristics of them and
- 30:30also people who live by the Spirit of God and what they are
- 30:34like. And so that's a good chapter to
- 30:39review and say, what do I live like?
- 30:41Because if God's Spirit is in you, your life is going to
- 30:46change. It's not going to stay the same.
- 30:48You don't have to clean up your life before you come to Christ.
- 30:51But when when Jesus gives you the Holy Spirit, when you're
- 30:55truly repentant and you want to have that relationship with God,
- 30:59then you will change because you want to please God.
- 31:04I mean, Jesus basically said, if you love me, obey my commands.
- 31:08So you're going to have that desire.
- 31:09The Holy Spirit is going to change that in you where you
- 31:12actually have the desire to do the things that God likes, that
- 31:17God approves of. And that's, that's the change
- 31:21that happens through the Holy Spirit.
- 31:22It's not something anybody does. It's the Holy Spirit that works
- 31:26in us. Anyway, Paul talks about let's
- 31:31see, I don't I don't really he well in Thessalonians SO1
- 31:42Thessalonians 5 verse 2 for you know very well that the day of
- 31:47the Lord will come like a thief in the night.
- 31:51People are going to be surprised.
- 31:53So I'm going to read a little bit about this, the day of the
- 31:58Lord, because he dedicates 1st Thessalonians 5, talks about the
- 32:04day of the Lord. Now brothers and sisters, about
- 32:07times and dates, we do not need to write you, for you know very
- 32:10well that the day of the Lord will come like a thief in the
- 32:12night. While people are saying peace
- 32:15and safety, destruction will come on them suddenly, just like
- 32:22we were reading in Malachi, then suddenly the Lord you are
- 32:25seeking will come to his temple, going back to Thessalonians,
- 32:32then destruction will come on them suddenly.
- 32:35This is also concerning because everybody is talking about peace
- 32:39and safety right now. That's the goal of the world
- 32:42right now, and there is war going on, but the goal is peace
- 32:46and safety. So whenever people start
- 32:49emphasizing peace and safety, it makes me think about this verse.
- 32:53I'm like, oh gosh, I don't know if that's such a great thing
- 32:56because it says destruction will come on them suddenly as labor
- 32:59pains on a pregnant woman and they will not escape.
- 33:04And the day of the Lord is also equated to like a pregnancy and,
- 33:08and about the birth pains. And we, I believe we're clearly
- 33:15in the birth pains right now. And there's so many other people
- 33:17that are saying this. I started thinking, wondering
- 33:21this in 2020 and how here we are like 6 years later and it's only
- 33:26intensified. I kept thinking, you know, maybe
- 33:28it would not continue, but all it's done is like escalated and
- 33:34all these strange things. It's just almost shocking.
- 33:36Like I really can't believe this is all happening right now.
- 33:40And there's a lot of other people who are seeing this too.
- 33:44Like it just seems like we are so close we're, we won't know
- 33:48until hindsight. So The thing is, you need to
- 33:51prepare now and get right with God.
- 33:56That's all I can say. Because if you're right with
- 33:58God, if you've repented and you've asked and you believe in,
- 34:02well, you believe in Jesus. You know about Jesus, you know
- 34:05he died on the cross. You know that he was he was dead
- 34:09and then raised back to life and he is living today.
- 34:13If you believe that, you can find all that in the Gospel.
- 34:16I'd read the Gospel of John if you hadn't heard it before.
- 34:19And but if you believe that and then you want to have a good
- 34:25relationship with Him, then you need to repent and say, I don't
- 34:29want the sin in my life that I've been living and ask for
- 34:34forgiveness and ask for the Holy Spirit because Jesus said we
- 34:38needed to be born again and the Holy Spirit then will change us.
- 34:42So going back to First Thessalonians 5 verse 4.
- 34:45But you brothers and sisters, are not in darkness that this
- 34:49day should surprise you like a thief.
- 34:51You are all children of the light and children of the day.
- 34:56We do not belong to the night or to the darkness.
- 34:59So then, let us not be like others who are asleep, but let
- 35:04us be awake and sober, for those who sleep, sleep at night, and
- 35:10those who get drunk get drunk at night.
- 35:13But since we belong to the day, let us be sober, putting on
- 35:17faith and love as a breastplate and the hope of salvation as a
- 35:21helmet. For God did not appoint us to
- 35:24suffer wrath, but to receive salvation through our Lord Jesus
- 35:30Christ. He died for us so that whether
- 35:33we are awake or asleep, we may live together with him.
- 35:40Therefore encourage one another and build each other up, just as
- 35:45in fact you were doing. So that was the word of from
- 35:49Paul about the day of the Lord. And then he also talks about it
- 35:54again. Oh, this was somebody saying
- 35:57that it had already come, which it still hasn't come yet.
- 36:00And then in second Peter chapter 3, verse 10.
- 36:04But the day of the Lord will come like a thief, The heavens
- 36:08will disappear with a roar, the elements will be destroyed by
- 36:12fire, and the earth and everything done in it will be
- 36:16laid bare. So there's a few verses prior to
- 36:25that one. I just read that.
- 36:28I want to read to you because this comes up quite often.
- 36:32It says so. Second Peter chapter 3.
- 36:35Start with verse 7. By the same word, the present
- 36:40heavens and earth are reserved for fire.
- 36:44Now remember we read that in Malachi 2 where it says that He
- 36:48was, He's coming as a refiner and a purifier, and He will
- 36:52refine them like gold and silver, which goes through the
- 36:56fire. So the heavens and earth are
- 37:01reserved for fire being kept for the day of judgement and
- 37:05destruction of the ungodly. But do not forget this one
- 37:10thing, dear friends, with the Lord, A day is like 1000 years,
- 37:17and 1000 years are like a day. The Lord is not slow in keeping
- 37:23His promise as some understand slowlyness.
- 37:26Instead He is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish,
- 37:31but everyone to come to repentance.
- 37:36That's that word that doesn't get talked a lot, talked about a
- 37:40lot in churches. People don't, they don't like to
- 37:45do that. They like to talk about love,
- 37:48but not about repentance. But all over the Bible when I
- 37:51read it, I see repentance everywhere.
- 37:54And and that's what it says here, that the Lord wants
- 37:57everyone to come to repentance. That means rejects and turn away
- 38:02from it and turn to God instead says, but the day of the Lord
- 38:06will come like a thief. The heavens will disappear with
- 38:08a roar, the elements will be destroyed by fire and the earth
- 38:11and everything done in it will be laid bare.
- 38:14Everything's going to be exposed.
- 38:16So to God, 1000 years is just like a day.
- 38:22So now we've been, you know, there's been thousands of years
- 38:28that have gone by and we're getting close to, if you, if
- 38:33you've heard any of my podcasts before, I talk about Dead Sea
- 38:35Scrolls and I talk about the calendar that theocenes had.
- 38:38And you can go to that an interactive calendar.
- 38:42It's DSS calendar.org. And you can see where we are.
- 38:48And I believe we are now in 5951 or something.
- 38:56I can't remember which way it's going.
- 38:58Yeah, it's 5951. So it's Nissan 105951.
- 39:03The Gregorian date is March 27th, 2026 and the Pharisee date
- 39:10is 5786. You'll see a few 100 years
- 39:13difference there. But when you go back to what the
- 39:18Essenes believed, what they had documented, I guess that was
- 39:21found in the Dead Sea Scrolls, like in 1948 ish, somewhere
- 39:26around there, they found these scrolls in the caves of Qumran.
- 39:30And they were saying that Jesus would return in the year 6000.
- 39:35And according to their date, it's 5951.
- 39:40So that means there's maybe 49 more years or less because we
- 39:46don't know. But it's really getting close
- 39:49and and I think God is showing us all these things that are
- 39:53lining up with Bible prophecy right now so that people wake
- 39:57up. And just like Peter says there,
- 40:02I don't know if it was Peter or Paul that said, but you know,
- 40:05it's not going to surprise you because you're awake with us.
- 40:09But there's a lot of people who are asleep who don't don't get
- 40:13this. So anyway.
- 40:18I also was thinking about in Malachi, going back to Malachi
- 40:22and another scripture that pops into my head as I'm reading
- 40:24these things. It says, so I will come and put
- 40:28you on trial. And so that made me think about
- 40:32how God was. Oh, it says how you you won't be
- 40:41the hour of trial. I thought I looked that up.
- 40:45I don't know if I did look that up or not, but I'm going to do
- 40:48that right now. But I think it was like
- 40:51something at the hour of trial maybe.
- 40:55I'm not sure if that's what it was called.
- 40:59Yeah, it is Revelation in Revelation chapter 3, verse 10.
- 41:03Since you have kept my command to endure patiently, I will also
- 41:09keep you from the hour of trial that is going to come on the
- 41:14whole world to test the inhabitants of the earth.
- 41:18So this was written by John in the Book of Revelation, chapter
- 41:233, verse 10. And it sounds very much like
- 41:26what Malachi wrote, probably thousands of years or hundreds
- 41:31of years before John. And because he wrote that so I
- 41:38will come to put you on trial. I will be quick to testify
- 41:43against sorcerers, adulterers, perjurers, against those who
- 41:49defraud laborers of their wages, who oppress the widows and the
- 41:54fatherless, and deprive the foreigners among you of justice.
- 41:58But do not fear me, says the Lord Almighty, like they have no
- 42:03respect for God. So anyway, but the Book of
- 42:08Revelation says, since you have kept my command to endure
- 42:11patiently, I will also keep you from the hour of trial that is
- 42:15going to come on the whole world to test the inhabitants of the
- 42:19earth. And this is what was written to
- 42:23Jesus said to John to to the Angel in the church in
- 42:29Philadelphia. Now these Philadelphia was the
- 42:33place in Turkey. Actually all of these were
- 42:36churches there. And at the time, it's kind of
- 42:41there were like 7 churches that messages were given to.
- 42:44And there's a lot of discussion or theories about what this, you
- 42:50know, the symbology in this, but I'll just read to you what it
- 42:54says in total to the church in Philadelphia.
- 42:58So I'm sure this message was directly to a specific church,
- 43:02but I think because God doesn't change that, it could also apply
- 43:06to us when we read through this. So to the Angel in of the church
- 43:11in Philadelphia, right? These are the words of him who
- 43:14is holy and true, who holds the keys of David.
- 43:19What he opens, no one can shut, and what he shuts, no one can
- 43:23open. Now this is talking about Jesus.
- 43:26I know your deeds. See, I have placed before you an
- 43:29open door that no one can shut. I know that you have little
- 43:34strength, yet you have kept my word and have not denied my
- 43:39name. So this is really important not
- 43:43to deny Jesus. Then verse 9, I will make those
- 43:49who are of the synagogue of Satan, who claim to be Jews,
- 43:54though they are not, but are liars.
- 43:56I will make them come and fall down at your feet and and
- 44:01acknowledge that I have loved you.
- 44:04So this is, you know, there's these fake Jews, there's fake
- 44:09Christians too. There's fake all sorts of
- 44:13different religious people, people who look like they are of
- 44:15a religion, but their hearts aren't really in it.
- 44:19So verse 10, since you have kept my command to endure patiently,
- 44:24I will also keep you from the hour of trial that is going to
- 44:28come on the whole world to test the inhabitants of the earth.
- 44:33I am coming soon. Hold on to what you have so that
- 44:36no one will take your crown. The one who is victorious I will
- 44:41make a pillar in the temple of my God.
- 44:45Never again will they leave it. I will write on them the name of
- 44:49my God and the name of the city of my God and the new Jerusalem
- 44:54which is coming down out of heaven from my God.
- 44:58And I will also write on them my new name.
- 45:04Whoever has ears, let them hear what the Spirit says to the
- 45:08churches. So wait, there's wisdom in that
- 45:12wisdom to pay attention to that. See the about.
- 45:19I don't know why I had that one there.
- 45:21OK, there was suddenly I had something about discipline.
- 45:27Oh, I know why because Paul when he talked about this is this is
- 45:33something recently that I learned I guess was that there's
- 45:38a difference between discipline and punishment.
- 45:42So discipline is a correct, a correction to make the person
- 45:53improved or better. I guess I don't know if I'm
- 45:56giving a really good definition, but it's something that a loving
- 46:00parent would do with their children.
- 46:03Like they will discipline them because they don't want them to
- 46:07hurt themselves. And if the child then obeys,
- 46:11they're not going to hurt themselves.
- 46:12Well, that's the way God does with us.
- 46:14Punishment is something different that's like a
- 46:18consequence of something that is done, but discipline is made
- 46:23more like a corrective measure. So anyway, there was discipline
- 46:28is something that gets talked about quite a bit, and I don't
- 46:33know if I was going to read all of these because I forgot how
- 46:35many there were. 36 verses. Oh boy, let's see Deuteronomy 4
- 46:43verse 36. That's where it first comes up
- 46:45from heaven. He made you to hear His voice to
- 46:48discipline you on earth. He showed you His great fire,
- 46:51and you heard His words from out of the fire in Deuteronomy 11/2.
- 46:58Remember today that your children were not the ones who
- 47:01saw and experienced the discipline of the Lord your God,
- 47:05His Majesty, His mighty hand, His outstretched arm in
- 47:10Deuteronomy 21. If someone has a stubborn and
- 47:13rebellious son who does not obey his father and mother and will
- 47:17not listen to them when they discipline him, his father and
- 47:23mother shall take hold of him and bring him to the elders at
- 47:26the gate of the town. They shall say to the elders,
- 47:29The son of ours is stubborn and rebellious.
- 47:32He will not obey us. He is a glutton and a drunkard.
- 47:37Listen to this is bad. Then all the men of his town are
- 47:41to stone him to death. You must purge the evil from
- 47:45among you all. Israel will hear of it and be
- 47:48afraid. So that's pretty harsh
- 47:51discipline. But there's other parts in
- 47:56Scripture where it just, it just is emphasizing how important it
- 48:00is to turn away from the rebellious ways because that's
- 48:06what they were talking about here.
- 48:07This rebel because ultimately God is going to destroy those
- 48:10who don't turn away and repent and turn to God.
- 48:15In Job, blessed is the one whom God corrects.
- 48:19So do not despise the discipline of the Almighty.
- 48:24And then David says in Psalm 6, Lord, do not rebuke me in your
- 48:31anger, or discipline me in your wrath.
- 48:35And then in Psalm 38, David says, Lord, do not rebuke me in
- 48:40your anger, or discipline me in your wrath.
- 48:43And then in Psalm 39, when you rebuke and discipline anyone for
- 48:48their sin, you consume their wealth like a moth.
- 48:52Surely everyone is but a breath. So when God's discipline, that
- 48:57will really shake us up. Psalm 94, it says, blessed is
- 49:03the one you discipline, Lord, the one you teach from your law.
- 49:09Then Solomon had some words in Proverbs 3.
- 49:13My son, do not despise the Lord's discipline and do not
- 49:17resent his rebuke Proverbs. All of these are proverbs.
- 49:22So these are these are all like the wisest man wrote these.
- 49:25So listen to what it says. You will say how I hated
- 49:29discipline, how my heart spurned correction.
- 49:37And it says at the end, it says at the end of your life, you
- 49:40will groan when your flesh and body are spent.
- 49:43You will say how I hated discipline, how my heart spurned
- 49:46correction. I would not obey my teachers or
- 49:49turn my ears to my instructors, and I was soon in serious
- 49:53trouble in the The assembly of God's people in Proverbs also
- 50:02says for lack of discipline they will die LED astray by their own
- 50:08great Foley. Another one says whoever heeds
- 50:14discipline shows the way to life, but whoever ignores
- 50:18correction leads others astray. Whoever loves discipline loves
- 50:25knowledge, but whoever hates correction is stupid.
- 50:31Whoever disregards that actually says that in the Bible, in the
- 50:33NIV version at least. Proverbs 12, verse one, Proverbs
- 50:3813, verse 18. Whoever disregards discipline
- 50:41comes to poverty and shame, but whoever heeds correction is
- 50:46honored. Whoever spares the rod hates
- 50:50their children, but the one who loves their children is careful
- 50:53to discipline them. This is not talking about
- 50:56beating children. This is talking about correcting
- 51:00them but not beating them or abusing them or anything like
- 51:04that. Proverbs 155A fool spurns a
- 51:09parent's discipline, but whoever he's correction shows prudence.
- 51:14Stern discipline awaits. Anyone who leaves the path, the
- 51:17one who hates correction will die.
- 51:21So would you rather have some discipline, or would you rather
- 51:23die eternally? It's like Proverbs 1510 Those
- 51:31then those who disregard discipline despise themselves,
- 51:35but the one who heeds correction gains understanding.
- 51:39Discipline your children, for in that there is hope.
- 51:43Do not be a willing party to their death.
- 51:47That's Proverbs 19 verse 18. That's kind of so important is
- 51:52something that's lost today because today it seems like what
- 51:57the world is saying is let children think whatever they
- 52:03want to think and be whoever they want to be and do whatever
- 52:08they want to do. And basically no rules except
- 52:12everybody. And that's the message that we
- 52:14get today. But it says here in Proverbs
- 52:171918, discipline your children, for in that there is hope.
- 52:22Do not be a willing party to their death.
- 52:25If you don't discipline somebody, your children, then
- 52:29you are helping them to their death.
- 52:34And that's not a good thing. And that's why it's not love
- 52:38when you do that. And the Bible clearly tells us
- 52:41that. Listen to advice and accept
- 52:44discipline, and at the end you will be counted among the wise.
- 52:49So here there's a connection between discipline and being
- 52:51wise. Foley is bound up in the heart
- 52:53of a child, but the rod of discipline will drive it far
- 52:56away. Do not withhold discipline from
- 53:00a child. If you punish them with the rod,
- 53:02they will not die. This is not talking about abuse.
- 53:05This is talking about something to get their attention so they
- 53:09don't die. Discipline your children and
- 53:12they will give you peace. They will bring you the delights
- 53:16you desire. And then in Jeremiah it says
- 53:19discipline me Lord, but only in due measure, not in your anger
- 53:23or you will reduce me to nothing.
- 53:25I think I've thought that before I was like, God, if you need to
- 53:28discipline me, do it, but please not, not strong like you know,
- 53:33just let me know lightly. So discipline me Lord, but only
- 53:38in due measure, not in your anger, or you will reduce me to
- 53:42nothing. Yet they did not listen or pay
- 53:45attention when they were stiff necked and would not listen or
- 53:48respond to discipline. A lot of people don't respond to
- 53:51discipline. Jeremiah 3011 I am with you and
- 53:55will save you, declares the Lord.
- 53:57Though I completely destroy all the nations among which I
- 54:00scatter you, I will not completely destroy you.
- 54:03I will discipline you, but only in due measure.
- 54:07I will not let you go entirely unpunished.
- 54:13They turned their backs to me and not their faces.
- 54:16Though I taught them again and again, they would not listen or
- 54:20respond to discipline. Do not be afraid, Jacob, my
- 54:25servant, for I am with you, declares the Lord.
- 54:28Though I completely destroy all nations among which I scatter
- 54:33you, I will not completely destroy you.
- 54:35I will discipline you, but only in due measure.
- 54:39I will not let you go entirely unpunished, Hosea.
- 54:45The rebels are knee deep in slaughter.
- 54:48I will discipline all of them. That doesn't really relate in
- 54:53First Corinthians chapter 4. What do you prefer?
- 54:55Shall I come to you with a rod of discipline or shall I come in
- 54:59love and with a gentle spirit? Kind of interesting.
- 55:04Second Timothy verse one or Second Timothy chapter one verse
- 55:097 for the Spirit God gave us does not make us timid, but
- 55:15gives us power, love and self-discipline.
- 55:22So we're we become accountable for ourselves in Hebrews it
- 55:27says, and you, and have you completely forgotten the word of
- 55:31encouragement that addresses you as a father addresses his son?
- 55:35It says, my son, do not make light of the Lord's discipline
- 55:39and do not lose heart when he rebukes you because the Lord
- 55:44disciplines the one he loves and he chastens everyone.
- 55:50He accepts as his son says, endure hardship as as
- 55:56discipline. God is treating you as his
- 56:00children for what children are not disciplined by their father.
- 56:05If you are not disciplined and everyone undergoes discipline,
- 56:12then you are not legitimate, not true sons and daughters at all.
- 56:18So there's there's some importance to.
- 56:26I guess there's something that, you know, discipline is, is good
- 56:30if we're disciplined by God because that means we are
- 56:33legitimate children of his. If you are not disciplined ever
- 56:36and everyone undergoes discipline, then you are not
- 56:39legitimate, not true sons and daughters at all.
- 56:42So it's moreover, we had, we have all had human fathers who
- 56:46disciplined us and we respected them for it.
- 56:48How much more should we submit to the Father of spirits and
- 56:53live? They disciplined us for a little
- 56:57while as they thought best, but God disciplines us for our good
- 57:02in order that we may share in His Holiness.
- 57:06No discipline seems pleasant at the time, but painful later on.
- 57:10However, it produces a harvest of righteousness and peace for
- 57:16those who have been trained by it.
- 57:20And He let's see, that was all in chapter 12.
- 57:24I read a lot of that. And then in also in Revelation
- 57:29chapter 3, verse 19, it says those whom I love, I rebuke and
- 57:36discipline. So be earnest and repent.
- 57:41Repentance. Again, it's like the theme that
- 57:45goes throughout here. So this talks about, it's
- 57:52interesting because I also searched the word suddenly and
- 58:00Luke has something that he says be careful or your hearts will
- 58:05be weighed down with carousing drunkenness and the anxieties of
- 58:09life and that day will close on you suddenly like a trap.
- 58:17So he's talking about the day of the Lord when Christ returns.
- 58:22Just be careful that you're not getting off track, says, for it
- 58:28will come on all those who live on the face of the whole earth.
- 58:32Be always on the watch and pray that you may be able to escape
- 58:37all that is about to happen and that you may able to stand
- 58:42before the Son of man. And again, that's what Malachi
- 58:47was saying. Who can stand when he appears?
- 58:52So again, these are these are things that suddenly that's the
- 58:58way God often arrives. I mean, there's like this
- 59:06suddenness, like suddenly an Angel of the Lord appeared in a
- 59:12light shone in the cell. He struck Peter on the side and
- 59:15woke him up. Quick, get up, he said, and the
- 59:17chains fell off Peter's wrist. That's when he was escaped from
- 59:21the prison that he was in. But there's a lot of, if you
- 59:24just search the word, suddenly you'll see that there is.
- 59:29It's just one of those things that I guess happens with people
- 59:33and that we should just be careful about being prepared, I
- 59:40guess so that no matter when it comes, when it does come
- 59:44suddenly that we are prepared. Like First Thessalonians 5 verse
- 59:502 for you know very well that the day of the Lord will come
- 59:53like a thief in the night. These are all the things.
- 59:55And then like a thief. There's about 9 verses that
- 59:59talks about like a thief and it's let's see I will read.
- 1:00:10Some, not all of them. First Thessalonians 5 For you
- 1:00:15know that very well. The day of the Lord will come
- 1:00:17like a thief in the night, and then, but you, brothers and
- 1:00:20sisters, are not in darkness, that this day should surprise
- 1:00:23you like a thief. Second Peter 3 says, But the day
- 1:00:26of the Lord will come like a thief.
- 1:00:28The heavens will disappear with the roar, the elements will be
- 1:00:31destroyed by fire, and the earth and everything done in it will
- 1:00:34be laid bare. And Revelation chapter 3, verse
- 1:00:383. Remember, therefore, what you've
- 1:00:40received and heard. Hold it fast and repent.
- 1:00:46But if you do not wake up, I will come like a thief, and you
- 1:00:50will not know at what time I will come to you.
- 1:00:53Revelation 1615. Look, I come like a thief.
- 1:00:59Blessed is the one who stays awake and remains clothed so as
- 1:01:04not to go naked and be shamefully exposed.
- 1:01:08Clothed with righteousness is what it's referring to.
- 1:01:14And then there's about refining. So Malachi talks about refining
- 1:01:19and two other prophets also talk about refining, Jeremiah and
- 1:01:23Zechariah. Jeremiah said therefore this is
- 1:01:26what the Lord Almighty says, See, I will refine and test
- 1:01:30them, for what else can I do? Because of the sin of my people
- 1:01:37unrepentance. Zechariah 13 verse 9 says this
- 1:01:41third I will put into the fire. I will refine them like silver
- 1:01:46and test them like gold. They will call on my name and I
- 1:01:50will answer them. I will say these are my people
- 1:01:53and they will say the Lord is our God.
- 1:01:57Malachi 3/3 He will sit as a refiner and purifier of silver.
- 1:02:01He will purify the Levites and refine them like silver and
- 1:02:05gold, like gold and silver. Then the Lord will have men who
- 1:02:10will bring offerings in righteousness.
- 1:02:17There was there were a lot of other things that I did look up
- 1:02:21here, but I have a feeling that this podcast is really long
- 1:02:27already. So I don't know if I yeah, it's
- 1:02:29already an hour. So this went way longer that I
- 1:02:31want and I still have so many other tabs just about the Great
- 1:02:37Commission and see all these different things.
- 1:02:41I looked up and I don't even know why, but it was like one of
- 1:02:44those that things just kept coming to my mind as I was going
- 1:02:48through this. So anyway, it's already been a
- 1:02:50really long podcast, so I'm just going to end here and I'm sure
- 1:02:54he'll cover some of this other stuff in another podcast.
- 1:02:58I'm not sure what book I'm going to do next because now we've
- 1:03:02completed all of the profits. So that was the goal to get all
- 1:03:05the profits done. We've done that.
- 1:03:08I may go back to the book of Job, and that's a long one
- 1:03:12because I, I want to make a podcast for every book of the
- 1:03:16Bible and I've done all the way up to Job.
- 1:03:20And then I kind of got started with all the prophets.
- 1:03:23I skipped over Psalms and Proverbs, Ecclesi Ecclesiastes
- 1:03:28and Song of Songs, and then I started with Isaiah.
- 1:03:31So there was a chunk in the middle where I didn't cover.
- 1:03:34So I'm going to go back to the Book of Job.
- 1:03:36That's going to be the next book that we come to.
- 1:03:39And that was actually the first book that I actually read from
- 1:03:43the Bible because of some things that happened in my life.
- 1:03:47So it's a very interesting book to me.
- 1:03:50And I had to, I think I read it all in one night because
- 1:03:53wherever I opened it up, I had to figure out like how did it
- 1:03:57and because it was so terrible everything that I was reading,
- 1:04:01but good book to read. So anyway, we will cover that
- 1:04:05next time. And if this was beneficial to
- 1:04:08you, please share with others. If you are not subscribed,
- 1:04:11please do so. And if you want to stay in the
- 1:04:14word, I try to do this every day and at least read a chapter a
- 1:04:18day. Some are longer than others.
- 1:04:20When I kind of get into all of these, like my mind just goes
- 1:04:23when I start reading these things.
- 1:04:25So anyway, hope something was good in here.
- 1:04:29Thank you. Bye.
