- 0:00Speaker 1: Scrubbing In with Beca Tilly and Tanya rad and iHeartRadio
- 0:04Speaker 1: and two times People's Choice Award winning podcast.
- 0:10Speaker 2: Hello Hello everybody, we are scrubbing in.
- 0:15Speaker 3: What happened with that stutter?
- 0:19Speaker 1: So my it appears that my headphones aren't turned up,
- 0:22Speaker 1: so I didn't hear myself, but I, in fact I
- 0:25Speaker 1: just made sure my microphone was on and.
- 0:26Speaker 3: It was it's our first time, first time she has
- 0:30Speaker 3: her blanky with her today, everybody.
- 0:32Speaker 4: Yes, the blankie is out.
- 0:36Speaker 3: So about a good conversation because I have in my
- 0:42Speaker 3: life like traveled with a blankie or like, oh my.
- 0:46Speaker 1: God, it's okay.
- 0:47Speaker 3: I have. I have brought a blankie for certain events
- 0:52Speaker 3: where I felt like I wanted comfort, right, But as
- 0:55Speaker 3: I've gotten older and realized how gross it is to
- 1:00Speaker 3: travel said blanket to different spots that are in public
- 1:05Speaker 3: facing spots, I have strong opinions about it because are
- 1:10Speaker 3: you going to leave that here and it is your
- 1:12Speaker 3: blanket for the studio or are you gonna get like
- 1:15Speaker 3: take it home, wash it and do that.
- 1:17Speaker 1: Bring it back every day. Yeah, No, I'm gonna leave
- 1:19Speaker 1: it here. I don't really trust leaving it in the studio,
- 1:22Speaker 1: so I'm gonna take it with me into my car,
- 1:25Speaker 1: leave it in the car overnight, bring it back with
- 1:27Speaker 1: me in the morning.
- 1:28Speaker 3: Okay, I'm less. Okay the car. It feels better safe.
- 1:32Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 1:32Speaker 3: Yeah, it's not as bad as an airplane, like taking
- 1:35Speaker 3: a you know.
- 1:36Speaker 1: You're blanky on an airplane. Yeah, which I love a
- 1:40Speaker 1: blanket on an air I want.
- 1:41Speaker 3: It's so nice to have. But then once you get
- 1:43Speaker 3: to your location, I'm like, I don't I can only
- 1:45Speaker 3: want to touch it. Yeah, and then I don't even
- 1:47Speaker 3: want to use it all the way back because it
- 1:50Speaker 3: didn't get clean unless we were staying at an airbnb
- 1:53Speaker 3: and I could actually wash it.
- 1:55Speaker 1: You know, like hotels don't wash what you lay on.
- 1:58Speaker 1: They wash them like once a month or something. What
- 2:02Speaker 1: are you talking about those big comforters that you lay
- 2:04Speaker 1: on when you're on in an hotel with the sheets,
- 2:07Speaker 1: the comforter, the thing on top.
- 2:10Speaker 3: Yeah, but you have the sheet, you have a sheet
- 2:12Speaker 3: under you and then a sheet.
- 2:13Speaker 1: Don't you ever just PLoP onto the bed? I never.
- 2:15Speaker 3: I don't really lay on a bed.
- 2:17Speaker 4: You don't PLoP.
- 2:18Speaker 3: I don't PLoP really crazy, I don't like I don't
- 2:21Speaker 3: like being on or in my bed unless I'm freshly
- 2:24Speaker 3: showered and have cleanish clothes on.
- 2:26Speaker 1: Well, same outside clothes in the bed is disgusting.
- 2:31Speaker 3: Well yeah, that's an absolute hazard, even if like there
- 2:38Speaker 3: are who was it someone that I know and love?
- 2:42Speaker 1: What Paulina what was talking about? Like she gets in
- 2:45Speaker 1: her bed. She doesn't have that rule.
- 2:47Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, a lot of people don't have that rule.
- 2:49Speaker 3: But someone was telling me they travel and don't that
- 2:52Speaker 3: they can get off a plane and airport and get
- 2:56Speaker 3: into bed without showering.
- 2:58Speaker 1: It's disgusting, it's so bad. But you know what, my
- 3:02Speaker 1: dog's paws that have been all over the urine infested streets,
- 3:06Speaker 1: bring those on into my bed.
- 3:07Speaker 3: You don't wipe her paws off?
- 3:09Speaker 4: I do, But like, how much is the wiping getting off?
- 3:13Speaker 1: Really?
- 3:14Speaker 3: I'm wipe Phoebe's till there's no nothing on the pad.
- 3:18Speaker 1: Yeah, but then it's like in their fur they're kicking
- 3:20Speaker 1: up dust.
- 3:22Speaker 4: I mean, that's all I'm saying.
- 3:25Speaker 3: Yeah, listen, not all of our rules make sense. Yeah,
- 3:28Speaker 3: in this life, we all have our own things where
- 3:30Speaker 3: we draw a line. I just have drawn my line
- 3:33Speaker 3: at my bed and it's a sacred place. And fortunately
- 3:36Speaker 3: I have Hayley who has adopted my neuroses around this.
- 3:41Speaker 4: Yeah, I'm grateful me too.
- 3:43Speaker 1: My partner has been very respectful of my neuroses as well.
- 3:48Speaker 3: Yeah yeah, and I'm grateful. Which, by the way, he's
- 3:51Speaker 3: becoming a TikTok chef.
- 3:53Speaker 1: That's right.
- 3:55Speaker 3: You know what my dream would be is for Robbie
- 3:58Speaker 3: to become a TikTok chef that goes on to next
- 4:01Speaker 3: level chef as a social media chef.
- 4:04Speaker 1: I keep thinking, I'm like, could you beat Bobby Flay?
- 4:07Speaker 1: Like that's like what I'm like thinking every day that
- 4:09Speaker 1: he cooks, Like, I'm like, are you there yet? There
- 4:11Speaker 1: is not a day that's gone by in the last
- 4:14Speaker 1: two weeks since he started this like pursuit that there's
- 4:17Speaker 1: on Amazon package at our front door with some kitchen
- 4:21Speaker 1: utensil that's like so random. Yesterday was a pistol and
- 4:25Speaker 1: mortar or what is it called hornar and pestel? What
- 4:27Speaker 1: is the like thing that you like, uh oh yeah, grind.
- 4:32Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 4:32Speaker 1: Then there was these little uh these little tiny they're
- 4:38Speaker 1: almost like little tiny frying pans to make like the
- 4:40Speaker 1: perfect sunny set up egg.
- 4:42Speaker 3: Oh I've seen those, yeah, uh huh.
- 4:43Speaker 1: Then uh there was a different some sort of cutting
- 4:46Speaker 1: board one day, a different wisk one day, knives. I mean,
- 4:51Speaker 1: it's just like every day something new.
- 4:52Speaker 3: Yeah, he's really committed. Yeah, but I'm glad he's filming
- 4:56Speaker 3: it because I'm like that. I love watching that stuff
- 4:58Speaker 3: and I think it's really his plating and everything he's
- 5:02Speaker 3: doing is so beautiful. So I appreciate the effort as
- 5:05Speaker 3: to that he's putting into filming it as well for
- 5:07Speaker 3: the fans.
- 5:08Speaker 2: Yeah, thank myself much. And you're getting to enjoy it,
- 5:12Speaker 2: really just enjoying it.
- 5:14Speaker 1: I told him. I was like, it's literally I'm Nara
- 5:16Speaker 1: Smith's husband, like Lucky blue Smith. I'm Lucky blue Smith,
- 5:21Speaker 1: Like you are making these meals because your wife it's
- 5:24Speaker 1: for her fertility journey, do you know what I mean?
- 5:26Speaker 1: Like you, I'm I'm reaping the benefits of this whatever
- 5:30Speaker 1: is going on here.
- 5:32Speaker 3: Well, he's doing it for you, correct, So the benefits
- 5:34Speaker 3: are it's for me?
- 5:36Speaker 4: Yeah, Yeah, you're not.
- 5:37Speaker 3: Really reaping them as much as they're just there.
- 5:40Speaker 4: Yes, how was your weekend?
- 5:44Speaker 3: My weekend was good. On Friday. So Haley's album for
- 5:49Speaker 3: the movie, she she just went ahead and just decided
- 5:52Speaker 3: to write a soundtrack after she finished editing the movie,
- 5:55Speaker 3: she said, what else can I do? Oh, I'll write
- 5:57Speaker 3: a soundtrack for the movie. And so it's a soundtrack
- 6:00Speaker 3: inspired by So there's songs on it that are actually
- 6:04Speaker 3: in the movie, and then the rest of it is
- 6:07Speaker 3: are songs that.
- 6:08Speaker 1: Oh, I thought they were all in the movie.
- 6:10Speaker 3: No, So when you listen to the album, once you
- 6:12Speaker 3: see the movie and then you listen to the album,
- 6:14Speaker 3: you can kind of see what the scenes like, what
- 6:16Speaker 3: they were inspired by. So like Periwinkle Princess because Sonya
- 6:20Speaker 3: has like Periwinkle nails, and there's just like different songs
- 6:24Speaker 3: that kind of are attached to the movie. So it's
- 6:27Speaker 3: a really cool idea because she couldn't, I mean, trying
- 6:30Speaker 3: to get music into a movie. I had no idea.
- 6:33Speaker 3: It makes me appreciate soundtracks and like the when you
- 6:36Speaker 3: hear a good soundtrack, the amount of money that they
- 6:38Speaker 3: put put out to get those songs, it's crazy. So anyways,
- 6:43Speaker 3: Haley had songs that she had started when she was
- 6:47Speaker 3: in high school and was able to like write them
- 6:50Speaker 3: for the movie to put in the movie. So anyways,
- 6:54Speaker 3: her her soundtrack came out on Friday. And then there's
- 6:57Speaker 3: this club. It's this club downtown called Club Nineties, and
- 7:01Speaker 3: they have themed nights and they have like a DJ
- 7:04Speaker 3: set and then they have a huge screen behind them
- 7:07Speaker 3: and it's showing like music videos or edits from like
- 7:11Speaker 3: TikTok or whatever. And so we all went but it
- 7:15Speaker 3: didn't start until ten thirty at night. So we were
- 7:19Speaker 3: all like, how are we going to do this?
- 7:21Speaker 1: That is diabolical.
- 7:23Speaker 3: We were all like napping during the day, and then
- 7:25Speaker 3: everyone was like, can we come over earlier? Just because
- 7:27Speaker 3: I need to get out the out of the house.
- 7:30Speaker 4: I would need to leave my house before eight pm.
- 7:32Speaker 3: Yeah, So some people came over and we just had
- 7:37Speaker 3: a little drink and played games, and then we went
- 7:40Speaker 3: to games. We played the game that where you put.
- 7:43Speaker 2: The person on your guess yeah, yeah, guess who?
- 7:50Speaker 3: All right, that really sums it up, so yeah, I
- 7:52Speaker 3: guess I've.
- 7:53Speaker 5: Heard who am I? Yeah?
- 7:56Speaker 3: Both were yeah, So we did a little who am I?
- 8:00Speaker 3: And then we went and it was so much fun.
- 8:04Speaker 3: It felt like twenty eighteen, like I felt young. I
- 8:07Speaker 3: felt young. And then Taylor Banks goes, is this what
- 8:10Speaker 3: people feel when there's like eighties nights? And I was like,
- 8:13Speaker 3: why would you say that? Oh? That is dark? But
- 8:17Speaker 3: it would be because it's kind of like nineties and
- 8:19Speaker 3: two thousands, you know. I mean this theme was girls
- 8:22Speaker 3: Like Girls, so it was but two thousands, and I
- 8:25Speaker 3: was like, that is twenty years ago. Even though eighties
- 8:29Speaker 3: feels like it should be twenty years ago, it's four years.
- 8:31Speaker 1: Comparing us to the eighties nights is really rude.
- 8:35Speaker 3: But anyways, we had a great time, and we were
- 8:38Speaker 3: up till three thirty in the morning, which is like
- 8:41Speaker 3: an hour before you get.
- 8:42Speaker 1: Up for work, thirty minutes before thirty minutes Like that's
- 8:46Speaker 1: so crazy.
- 8:47Speaker 3: Ships in the night literally, So Saturday we really just
- 8:52Speaker 3: like did nothing fully wrought, caught up on Love Island
- 8:57Speaker 3: and then important thing, yes. And then yesterday my sister
- 9:00Speaker 3: Henk and her girlfriend Morgan came into town from Colorado
- 9:05Speaker 3: and it was Hank's birthday, so we had they came in,
- 9:09Speaker 3: we went, you know, to in and out, laid out
- 9:11Speaker 3: by the pool, and then we went and had dinner
- 9:13Speaker 3: last night. So it's been busy, busy social social. Yeah,
- 9:18Speaker 3: and today's the premiere day. Today's premiere day or Girls
- 9:21Speaker 3: Like Girls the movie. The day has arrived, Yeah, and
- 9:24Speaker 3: I'm so proud of Haley, like I'm like you have
- 9:27Speaker 3: to realize that regardless of I think it's going to
- 9:30Speaker 3: be like a huge success, Like I really truly believe that,
- 9:33Speaker 3: just based on people's reactions. But I was like, it's
- 9:36Speaker 3: already a success because you got it made. Yeah, it's dinners,
- 9:41Speaker 3: and it's beautiful, and it's the actor. The girls are amazing,
- 9:45Speaker 3: and it's just I'm just so proud of her and
- 9:49Speaker 3: I am. I was like, this is your day, you know, this,
- 9:52Speaker 3: this premiere is your day. Yeah, because Friday is when
- 9:56Speaker 3: it comes out for everybody else.
- 9:57Speaker 4: How is she feeling today?
- 9:58Speaker 3: I think like super excited I did, and anxious and
- 10:02Speaker 3: all the things I think. I think today she's trying
- 10:04Speaker 3: to just I told her, I was like, let yourself
- 10:06Speaker 3: just enjoy today because Friday, obviously you're gonna have big
- 10:10Speaker 3: feelings because that's when it's open for everyone to go
- 10:12Speaker 3: see you. Yeah, but just enjoy it, like let's celebrate
- 10:16Speaker 3: and party and you know, have fun tonight. So it's
- 10:21Speaker 3: gonna be great.
- 10:21Speaker 1: She's like, I have got work to do, I've got
- 10:23Speaker 1: pressed to do.
- 10:24Speaker 3: She's been so busy. I don't know how she does it.
- 10:28Speaker 3: I really don't.
- 10:29Speaker 4: I don't either. I do three things in a day,
- 10:30Speaker 4: and I'm.
- 10:31Speaker 3: Like, whoof three things is a lot? Give yourself more credit?
- 10:36Speaker 3: What did you do this weekend? Y'all were social too,
- 10:39Speaker 3: We were very social.
- 10:44Speaker 1: We I don't even know how to like brekface this story,
- 10:50Speaker 1: but maybe i'll do when we get back.
- 10:53Speaker 3: I mean that's kind of early, Oh is it? Yeah,
- 10:57Speaker 3: don't do it, don't it's not that good. No, she
- 11:02Speaker 3: would have texted me if it was even that remotely juicy.
- 11:05Speaker 3: But we did watch the the NBA Finals and that
- 11:10Speaker 3: was on was that Saturday? Yeah, Saturday? And I felt
- 11:13Speaker 3: sad because I wanted to keep going, really because I
- 11:18Speaker 3: thought it was a fun series, Like I loved watching
- 11:20Speaker 3: and I kept feeling like the Knicks would be like
- 11:22Speaker 3: really behind and then they'd come back and to be
- 11:24Speaker 3: exciting endings. And I also wanted the Knicks to win
- 11:28Speaker 3: in New York.
- 11:29Speaker 4: So were they not in New York?
- 11:31Speaker 3: No, they were in San Antonio, So it was it
- 11:33Speaker 3: was so exciting. Obviously it's like amazing because they've been
- 11:37Speaker 3: won since the seventies or something, but I was just like, man,
- 11:40Speaker 3: how incredible would that have been? Because the game before
- 11:45Speaker 3: that when they came back and won, Yeah, yeah, that
- 11:50Speaker 3: was crazy.
- 11:51Speaker 1: Like, so we were at a bar mitzvah during the
- 11:54Speaker 1: during the game, and they like literally stopped the music,
- 11:58Speaker 1: stopped everything down for the last I'm not really sure
- 12:01Speaker 1: how long, but like the last couple of minutes of
- 12:03Speaker 1: the game, so like everything just stops. Everybody's just like parked,
- 12:07Speaker 1: and they had like a huge screen behind you know, like.
- 12:09Speaker 4: The DJ boot.
- 12:10Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, everybody's just watching it. Robb he's like up
- 12:12Speaker 1: there with all the kids. And I was like I
- 12:14Speaker 1: couldn't care less, Like I literally was like chilling on
- 12:16Speaker 1: the couch, just like let's get the music go and
- 12:19Speaker 1: let me get back on the dance floor. I'm I
- 12:22Speaker 1: don't know why. I just don't care about sports. It's like, really, I.
- 12:26Speaker 3: Remember what Sincere and Soul are doing right now.
- 12:28Speaker 1: Yeah, I can't be home so I can catch up
- 12:31Speaker 1: with my little minions on Love Island.
- 12:35Speaker 3: Okay, So you don't you don't feel anything watching a
- 12:38Speaker 3: game like that where it's coming down to the end
- 12:41Speaker 3: and one team's gonna win for the first time when.
- 12:44Speaker 1: I'm forced to watch it, like I like I had
- 12:46Speaker 1: to watch it.
- 12:47Speaker 4: Whatever.
- 12:47Speaker 1: That not for your agreement, yes, for my arrangement. This
- 12:51Speaker 1: thing called marriage and compromise. I gave him twenty minutes
- 12:56Speaker 1: of the game.
- 12:57Speaker 3: It was the last you run a tight shit. So
- 13:02Speaker 3: I did.
- 13:02Speaker 1: Enjoy seeing that, Like I was like, Okay, this is exciting,
- 13:05Speaker 1: but like if I hadn't seen it, I would be
- 13:08Speaker 1: neither nor like I'd be fine, do you know what
- 13:11Speaker 1: I mean?
- 13:11Speaker 3: Yeah, But I'm saying, when it's on, you do and
- 13:14Speaker 3: you care enough that you enjoy it.
- 13:15Speaker 1: Yeah, I'm not like gonna walk out of the room
- 13:17Speaker 1: and stop my feet and like, you know, go to
- 13:19Speaker 1: the kitchen like I'll humor him and whatever. But like
- 13:24Speaker 1: I just would never be like, let me put the
- 13:26Speaker 1: game on. I want to see what's going on in
- 13:28Speaker 1: the game. Oh okay, you know what I mean. I
- 13:30Speaker 1: did that, Like I want I don't want to watch
- 13:33Speaker 1: any of the World Cup.
- 13:34Speaker 3: Well yeah I don't really. I'm not a big I
- 13:37Speaker 3: love I love women's soccer because we love going to
- 13:40Speaker 3: Angel City games and it's we're there so it's fun.
- 13:43Speaker 3: But I don't know that I could watch soccer on television.
- 13:46Speaker 1: And I like love, you know me, I like love camaraderie.
- 13:48Speaker 1: I love like being on a team, like I love that.
- 13:51Speaker 1: So it's like I really want to get into sports,
- 13:53Speaker 1: and I've tried so hard and I just like can't.
- 13:56Speaker 5: We should have gotten to the University of Arizona women's
- 13:58Speaker 5: basketball team for short lived.
- 14:00Speaker 1: Short little I ordered the gear, I was like ready,
- 14:04Speaker 1: and then it's just like I just can't.
- 14:07Speaker 3: I do appreciate that, like once you have a little fixation,
- 14:11Speaker 3: you go three thousand percent. But it is it could
- 14:16Speaker 3: end in a week. But you have all the stuff
- 14:18Speaker 3: that you need if you if you continue to support them.
- 14:21Speaker 1: The tools of all successful people.
- 14:23Speaker 3: We should go to one of the Sparks games, the
- 14:26Speaker 3: women's basketball because we went after the Pride Parade last
- 14:30Speaker 3: week and it was so much fun. And I really
- 14:32Speaker 3: do think you. I think being in person, you would
- 14:35Speaker 3: have fun.
- 14:36Speaker 1: I literally just told you I don't care about sports.
- 14:38Speaker 3: I know what you're talking about on TV. It's a
- 14:40Speaker 3: different experience when you're there breathing the same air as
- 14:43Speaker 3: the athletes, smelling the sweat.
- 14:45Speaker 1: Is it though? Yeah, I'd rather like see what's going
- 14:50Speaker 1: on with Bryce and Trinity and.
- 14:52Speaker 3: What you can you can do it all?
- 14:55Speaker 1: Could you imagine if I had I was walking by
- 14:57Speaker 1: my neighbor, like we were walking our dogs to go.
- 14:59Speaker 3: Poo, and she Pooh, by the way, what pooh?
- 15:03Speaker 1: Sorry bathroom, but like just pooh without a at least
- 15:07Speaker 1: pee at the poop.
- 15:09Speaker 3: Ye're taking her dog's potty.
- 15:11Speaker 1: And my neighbor was literally catching up on Love Island
- 15:13Speaker 1: on her phone. She was like walking her dog to
- 15:15Speaker 1: go to the bathroom. I was like, that's some dedication
- 15:18Speaker 1: right there.
- 15:18Speaker 3: Yeah, you got to get it in. I mean, if
- 15:20Speaker 3: you miss it a day. I didn't even watch Yesterdays,
- 15:23Speaker 3: and I'm like, what happened? You can tell me, But yeah.
- 15:26Speaker 4: I know.
- 15:27Speaker 1: I was forwarded through the challenge last night because it
- 15:29Speaker 1: was just like so gross.
- 15:30Speaker 4: I couldn't watch it.
- 15:32Speaker 3: It was so gros.
- 15:33Speaker 1: They were like deep throating hot dogs, and I was like,
- 15:35Speaker 1: what am I doing? So I fast forwarded through it
- 15:38Speaker 1: and to get to like just like the talking part,
- 15:40Speaker 1: and then something happened.
- 15:41Speaker 4: They keep referencing something that happened.
- 15:43Speaker 1: In the challenge. I'm like, oh, and I have to
- 15:44Speaker 1: go back and watch a stupid challenge.
- 15:46Speaker 3: So you didn't even watch it, you don't even know
- 15:48Speaker 3: what happened.
- 15:48Speaker 4: I don't.
- 15:49Speaker 1: I can kind of put two and two together from
- 15:50Speaker 1: what they were like, oh say I finished the episode.
- 15:53Speaker 3: The challenges put me in a moral dilemma.
- 15:57Speaker 1: And sometimes like drama happens that much as I was like,
- 16:00Speaker 1: I gotta go back now and watch this thing.
- 16:03Speaker 3: Yeah wait, I do want to talk about Love Island
- 16:06Speaker 3: because it made me cry on one of the episodes.
- 16:09Speaker 3: But that's weird. We'll take a break and come right back.
- 16:23Speaker 1: All right.
- 16:24Speaker 3: Listen up the Jonas brothers here.
- 16:26Speaker 1: Our podcast is called Hey Jonas but Fire.
- 16:27Speaker 3: Since everyone has a podcast, we wanted to as well.
- 16:29Speaker 1: And we've had some incredible guests so far, and now
- 16:31Speaker 1: our good friend Nile Horn is joining the show.
- 16:33Speaker 3: I was going, boys, hey Nile, that's the same thing
- 16:35Speaker 3: with slow Land. Slowlands is not about anything else, really,
- 16:38Speaker 3: is it? You know? Or our tastes so good comedy
- 16:41Speaker 3: about food? You do the same nick with some of
- 16:43Speaker 3: the stuff that you've done. You too, Joe, Drop what
- 16:48Speaker 3: you're doing and listen to Hate Jonas on the iHeartRadio app,
- 16:51Speaker 3: Apple Podcasts or wherever you listen to your podcasts. We're back.
- 17:00Speaker 3: I even gave you leadway. I was watching you and
- 17:02Speaker 3: I still want Okay, so we're watching I guess it
- 17:06Speaker 3: was Friday's episode, and mind you, we watched it Saturday
- 17:12Speaker 3: after we had stayed up till three thirty, so we're
- 17:14Speaker 3: quite tired. I'm going to give myself that excuse. And
- 17:18Speaker 3: the end of the episode comes, I mean, Haley cries
- 17:20Speaker 3: watching every reality show like The Bachelor. She cries.
- 17:22Speaker 4: I'm like, yeah, but Love Island is crazy work.
- 17:25Speaker 3: But spoiler alert, that ending when Gabrielle Gabrielle was talking
- 17:33Speaker 3: in Spanish to bea about how he felt about her
- 17:39Speaker 3: was really I've never seen. That was a really emotional moment,
- 17:43Speaker 3: and she said, thank you for what'd you say? Treating
- 17:46Speaker 3: me normal, like making me feel normal, like never like
- 17:50Speaker 3: making me feel basically like there was anything different about her.
- 17:55Speaker 3: I just thought it was such a beautiful moment that
- 17:58Speaker 3: you don't really see on those shows. And I felt
- 18:00Speaker 3: like she had had a guard up so so much,
- 18:04Speaker 3: and it was the first time that I felt like
- 18:06Speaker 3: we saw her kind of you know, he broke through that.
- 18:11Speaker 1: It's so funny that you felt that way, because I
- 18:13Speaker 1: have a Love Island only group chat, and everybody in
- 18:16Speaker 1: my group chat was like, crocodile tears, crocodile tears, crocodile tears.
- 18:20Speaker 1: Gabes just like putting on a show.
- 18:23Speaker 3: Oh they don't believe it.
- 18:24Speaker 1: Mm mmm. But why what Crocodile tears. Crocodile tears. Crocodile tears.
- 18:30Speaker 3: No, I felt it felt real. It did. Yeah, I
- 18:32Speaker 3: felt like it was real. It hit me and it
- 18:35Speaker 3: also I also got really upset for soul during the challenge.
- 18:39Speaker 3: I felt like angry at everybody. Oh and apparently they
- 18:43Speaker 3: were saying, like the editors cut some of the like
- 18:47Speaker 3: she got pied even more and they didn't show it
- 18:49Speaker 3: or something. Oh, and I just feel annoyed because my
- 18:52Speaker 3: my whole thing is, what's the The whole point of
- 18:55Speaker 3: the show is that these people come in and they
- 18:57Speaker 3: try to find a connection. And she didn't do anything.
- 18:59Speaker 3: Oh really dramatic. She just found someone that she was
- 19:02Speaker 3: interested and he's playing both sides. I think he's a villain.
- 19:06Speaker 1: Yeah, he's definitely the villain, especially because he's telling Melanie
- 19:08Speaker 1: one thing and then doing another. The name of the
- 19:13Speaker 1: game isn't like the bombshells are supposed to come and
- 19:15Speaker 1: like break couples up. They're just supposed to find so
- 19:17Speaker 1: like maybe find someone that's like a little bit single,
- 19:19Speaker 1: do you know what I mean?
- 19:19Speaker 4: Like it's not that's not the name of the game.
- 19:21Speaker 3: Yeah, but when you're talking to someone if they don't
- 19:24Speaker 3: say I'm closed off or I'm not interested.
- 19:27Speaker 1: I mean, the whole concept of the show is like
- 19:29Speaker 1: actually insane.
- 19:30Speaker 3: Yeah, the whole concept is crazy.
- 19:32Speaker 1: Yeah, It's like I see the inner turmoil that Kenzie's feeling.
- 19:35Speaker 1: I'm just like, I've never dated, Like I've never had
- 19:38Speaker 1: feelings for multiple people at once, and I like actually
- 19:40Speaker 1: don't know what to do about it. And she's like,
- 19:42Speaker 1: I feel like I have to give you the green
- 19:43Speaker 1: light to like go ahead with Corbyn, but like I
- 19:46Speaker 1: don't want to, but I guess this stupid show like
- 19:48Speaker 1: makes me feel like I have to.
- 19:50Speaker 3: I was dying when she said she's never had a
- 19:52Speaker 3: roster because I was like, that is so something Tanya
- 19:54Speaker 3: would say, having two guys saying she has a roster.
- 19:58Speaker 1: That's right, my girl has a ros her.
- 20:01Speaker 3: Yeah. I just felt I felt bad for Soul. I
- 20:04Speaker 3: just there's something that I didn't that I didn't like
- 20:07Speaker 3: about that whole thing. And then I haven't watched last
- 20:09Speaker 3: night's episode. So what happened in the challenge that what's
- 20:12Speaker 3: the drama?
- 20:12Speaker 4: No, I miss I skipped through the challenge two together.
- 20:15Speaker 1: Well, something happened with uh Casey and Anaya. They got
- 20:20Speaker 1: called out for something. I think like he said, like
- 20:23Speaker 1: somebody somebody Zach said that like he's playing it safe
- 20:26Speaker 1: or something by being with her.
- 20:29Speaker 3: Oh, and that really like rubbed her.
- 20:31Speaker 1: The wrong way. But also you see Casey starts to
- 20:34Speaker 1: try to like get with soul a little bit.
- 20:36Speaker 3: No, yeah, that's gonna be dramatic.
- 20:39Speaker 1: Yeah, and then I didn't watch you K last night,
- 20:42Speaker 1: which means I'm too backed up from UK. Let me
- 20:44Speaker 1: tell you something, watching two together is quite.
- 20:47Speaker 3: I would say, too too much, too too many, Robby.
- 20:51Speaker 1: I'm like, is this a cry for help?
- 20:53Speaker 3: Like it's giving.
- 20:57Speaker 1: I don't know what it's giving, but like what too
- 21:00Speaker 1: simultaneously is is quite the task.
- 21:03Speaker 4: And yet I can't dump one. I'm not ready to
- 21:05Speaker 4: dump one yet.
- 21:06Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 21:06Speaker 1: Yeah, I'm not ready. I can't cut the cord.
- 21:09Speaker 3: Well, I believe in you. You can do me a
- 21:12Speaker 3: couple more weeks, like it's really not it's like four
- 21:15Speaker 3: more weeks basically basically a month.
- 21:20Speaker 1: I can do it.
- 21:20Speaker 3: But I was gonna say my opinion on Anya and Casey.
- 21:24Speaker 3: I don't really I think she likes him, but I
- 21:28Speaker 3: don't feel like she's super into him. I think if
- 21:30Speaker 3: someone came in and gave her attention that was more
- 21:34Speaker 3: her type. I think she would.
- 21:35Speaker 4: I think they both are playing it safe.
- 21:38Speaker 3: Yes, but I think that so far she hasn't had
- 21:41Speaker 3: a connection with anybody else, or gotten attention from anyone else,
- 21:46Speaker 3: or been pursued by anybody else. So I think she's like, well,
- 21:48Speaker 3: I want to stay on the show, you know, I
- 21:51Speaker 3: want to be here. And I can't blame her, But
- 21:53Speaker 3: I don't feel like either of them are super I'm
- 21:58Speaker 3: not like getting romantic sparks flying everywhere. They like each other,
- 22:02Speaker 3: and I think they have a mutual respect for each other,
- 22:03Speaker 3: but I could see it quickly going in a different direction.
- 22:07Speaker 1: Yeah, it's so interesting because I'm just like, I'm not
- 22:09Speaker 1: in love with any of these people. Like, there's not
- 22:11Speaker 1: one that I'm like rooting for, Like literally not one.
- 22:15Speaker 1: I'm like, send in a bombshell that's gonna blow my
- 22:18Speaker 1: socks off, leap. It keeps sending in these.
- 22:21Speaker 3: It almost feels late in the game to send in
- 22:24Speaker 3: a really good bombshell.
- 22:26Speaker 4: But I'm never too late in the game.
- 22:27Speaker 3: But even who or do you even be rooting for?
- 22:30Speaker 3: In the cast if a good bombshell came in, like
- 22:32Speaker 3: who would you want to root for?
- 22:33Speaker 1: Yeah, I don't know. It's yeah in UK, there's a
- 22:37Speaker 1: couple that I'm like, I mess with them. I was
- 22:41Speaker 1: gonna say with them bleepyy bleep bark, but yeah, I
- 22:49Speaker 1: don't know. I'm just like not emotionally invested in with
- 22:52Speaker 1: any of these people. And it's kind of like, really,
- 22:54Speaker 1: I'm having a tough time with it. But maybe it'll happen.
- 22:57Speaker 1: But I didn't want to tell you this story. Speaking
- 23:00Speaker 1: of the bar Mitzvah, Jenny Smiley listens to the podcast
- 23:03Speaker 1: shout out great bar Mitzvah. But before the party, they
- 23:07Speaker 1: do like the service, you know, like where the boy
- 23:10Speaker 1: actually is like bar mitzvah.
- 23:11Speaker 3: Oh yeah, yeah yeah.
- 23:12Speaker 4: And so we went to the service.
- 23:14Speaker 1: And the rabbi is like, has anybody not seen like
- 23:19Speaker 1: the inside of a torah close up? And I was like,
- 23:24Speaker 1: I've never seen the inside of a torah close up,
- 23:26Speaker 1: you know, like, yeah, come on up here if you
- 23:28Speaker 1: haven't seen it, like, let me like show you. I'm
- 23:31Speaker 1: realizing as I'm walking up there, I'm realizing all these
- 23:34Speaker 1: little like twelve year olds are walking to the stage
- 23:38Speaker 1: because it's a bar mitzvah. So it's like the thirteen
- 23:40Speaker 1: year old boy and like all of his baseball team
- 23:43Speaker 1: and like his friend.
- 23:43Speaker 4: You know, it's like kids.
- 23:44Speaker 1: Yeah, it's me and like.
- 23:47Speaker 4: Fifteen eleven, twelve year olds.
- 23:50Speaker 1: A rabbit looks at me and goes, that's great. Are
- 23:53Speaker 1: there any other adults that I've never seen the tora?
- 23:59Speaker 4: I was like anyone else?
- 24:01Speaker 3: No?
- 24:01Speaker 1: Just meyy great?
- 24:03Speaker 3: Wow? Great? Yeah, a little bit about you.
- 24:05Speaker 1: So I'm just learning about the inside of the tora
- 24:07Speaker 1: with these little kids. And the saddest thing is there's
- 24:10Speaker 1: like kids that are like super short and.
- 24:12Speaker 4: They're like behind me.
- 24:12Speaker 1: I'm like, you think that I would like stand behind
- 24:15Speaker 1: because I'm so tall.
- 24:16Speaker 4: Let the little kids see.
- 24:18Speaker 3: No, I was right in there.
- 24:22Speaker 1: Let me learn.
- 24:23Speaker 3: Yeah, you don't have as much time left as they have.
- 24:25Speaker 1: Yeah, exactly what am I gonna see that the torah
- 24:28Speaker 1: close up like this?
- 24:29Speaker 4: Ever again?
- 24:29Speaker 3: Yeah you don't. You probably won't.
- 24:31Speaker 4: Yeah, So I did what I had to do.
- 24:34Speaker 3: Wait, speaking of age, I posted this on Instagram, but
- 24:39Speaker 3: for the two thousands night club nineties or whatever. I
- 24:43Speaker 3: cut my jeans on the hem on the each side
- 24:46Speaker 3: and I used to do that with every pair of jeans.
- 24:48Speaker 3: Drove my mom crazy. But they didn't sell them like
- 24:51Speaker 3: that yet, so you'd have to buy the jeans with
- 24:52Speaker 3: like a flare boot cut or whatever, and then you'd
- 24:56Speaker 3: cut the hemn just like a little snip hm. And
- 25:01Speaker 3: I was telling Tati and Marla, I was like, look,
- 25:04Speaker 3: I cut my jeans like we used to and you know,
- 25:08Speaker 3: our youth. And they were like what. And I was like,
- 25:11Speaker 3: you know, like you used to get your jeans and
- 25:13Speaker 3: you cut them. They're like, I have no idea what
- 25:15Speaker 3: you're talking about.
- 25:16Speaker 1: I don't know what you're talking about.
- 25:18Speaker 3: Tony, there's no way. And then and Marla goes, no,
- 25:22Speaker 3: I just bought them like that. And I was like, okay,
- 25:24Speaker 3: because they're younger than me.
- 25:26Speaker 4: Yeah, so much younger, like.
- 25:31Speaker 3: Too old? Yeah in the trend.
- 25:34Speaker 1: Yeah, I'm one year older than you.
- 25:37Speaker 3: But everyone forget everyone in the DM. They were like,
- 25:42Speaker 3: oh my gosh, yes, what how do they not remember?
- 25:45Speaker 3: Everyone was very offended for me. So maybe it wasn't
- 25:49Speaker 3: a California thing because they're all from California.
- 25:52Speaker 1: Yeah, definitely wasn't a California thing because I'm like the
- 25:55Speaker 1: youth of.
- 25:56Speaker 4: A nation, we as.
- 26:00Speaker 1: A trendsetter of right. Yeah, right, there's a trend, I
- 26:03Speaker 1: will try it. Oh my god, which I did? What
- 26:07Speaker 1: you know, how like everybody's.
- 26:08Speaker 4: Wearing those.
- 26:11Speaker 1: Those like eye patches, like the cool like.
- 26:13Speaker 3: The roads like under e Yeah, mine weren't even road.
- 26:16Speaker 3: They were just like right ones.
- 26:19Speaker 1: But like these girls in my workout class has always
- 26:21Speaker 1: come to wear my workout class with like these like
- 26:23Speaker 1: eye patches, and I'm like, oh my god, they're so cool, Like, well,
- 26:26Speaker 1: I'm going to be her.
- 26:27Speaker 3: I don't care, like I'm very much like do you?
- 26:30Speaker 3: But are there benefits to doing it in a workout class?
- 26:33Speaker 1: Not sure, just for the aesthetic. I think just were visuals.
- 26:38Speaker 3: Yeah, okay, So I wore.
- 26:39Speaker 1: Them to pick up coffee over the weekend and I
- 26:42Speaker 1: felt like such a dingal in Like I literally was
- 26:46Speaker 1: like I just felt like people were staring at me.
- 26:49Speaker 1: I did not wear them with confidence.
- 26:52Speaker 3: Like I suck them and I'm like, how are they going? Well?
- 27:00Speaker 1: I think about that with these pimple patches people wear,
- 27:03Speaker 1: people wear like these like stars over there like pimples,
- 27:05Speaker 1: and they're like out shopping at the grocery store. I'm like,
- 27:08Speaker 1: I just could never but they're like Haley Bieber does
- 27:11Speaker 1: it like it's cool.
- 27:12Speaker 3: So like, I don't mind a pimple patch though, well
- 27:15Speaker 3: an eye patch. I'm just trying to figure out what
- 27:19Speaker 3: I would be like you Like, it's like when you
- 27:21Speaker 3: wear a hat and you don't normally wear hats.
- 27:23Speaker 4: Yeah, like you're already looking at everybody's looking at me.
- 27:26Speaker 4: They know that I like not enough for these eye patches.
- 27:30Speaker 3: They know it's performative.
- 27:31Speaker 4: Yeah, and they're like white, like they're not.
- 27:33Speaker 1: Even like the cute ones with like the little mushrooms
- 27:35Speaker 1: on them.
- 27:35Speaker 4: Like I know, like you should.
- 27:40Speaker 3: Get some cool ones, like some like the real ones. Yeah,
- 27:44Speaker 3: and then see if you feel a little more cooler. Yeah. Yeah,
- 27:49Speaker 3: Oh that's so funny. They're like sweating off. That's the
- 27:53Speaker 3: other thing. I'm like, how are these girls working out
- 27:56Speaker 3: and they're not sweating all?
- 27:57Speaker 1: I know.
- 27:59Speaker 4: I just couldn't be.
- 28:00Speaker 3: I applaud you for trying, because I don't even know
- 28:03Speaker 3: that I could do that.
- 28:04Speaker 4: There's a trend.
- 28:05Speaker 1: I'll try it.
- 28:07Speaker 3: For Tanya to try. This could be a good series.
- 28:11Speaker 3: She does it without any help, but we could add
- 28:15Speaker 3: add to it. Did you listen to Olivia Rodrigue's album?
- 28:18Speaker 3: I know Mark did.
- 28:19Speaker 1: Well, let me tell you what I really did. I
- 28:21Speaker 1: listened to Hailey Kyoko's Girls Like Girls soundtrack.
- 28:25Speaker 3: That's what we need more of.
- 28:26Speaker 1: What was your favorite That wasn't heavy rotation, but I
- 28:29Speaker 1: did sprinkle in some Olivia.
- 28:31Speaker 3: But let's go back. What was What are your favorites
- 28:33Speaker 3: on Haley Kyoko?
- 28:34Speaker 1: I need the full soundtrack? Hold on, I can tell you.
- 28:37Speaker 4: Well, no, I need to look at it. Oh but
- 28:39Speaker 4: I think I know, I think I know.
- 28:41Speaker 3: Starts with Roly Coley and then it goes into nobody
- 28:44Speaker 3: should have You but me no.
- 28:46Speaker 4: Okay, So my number one right now is lungs O.
- 28:50Speaker 3: Great, that's one of the ones she wrote like started
- 28:53Speaker 3: in her youth.
- 28:54Speaker 1: That is my number one right now. My number two
- 28:57Speaker 1: is falling Through okay. And then my number three, well,
- 29:02Speaker 1: I'm not gonna even count this one because it's in
- 29:04Speaker 1: a league of its own. But the Girls Like Girls
- 29:06Speaker 1: from the motion picture version, Yeah to me, Like, I'm
- 29:09Speaker 1: just obsessed with that one. But I'm not even gonna
- 29:11Speaker 1: put that in the category because like it's obvious. Yeah,
- 29:15Speaker 1: I'm gonna go with Trophy.
- 29:16Speaker 3: Oh I thought you would love Trophy.
- 29:19Speaker 1: Yeah, that's my top three.
- 29:20Speaker 3: Those are really good top threes. I love the whole album.
- 29:23Speaker 3: My top three that I love nobody should have you,
- 29:25Speaker 3: but nobody should have you but me. I love the
- 29:32Speaker 3: intro because it's so cinematic. I love the intro makes
- 29:36Speaker 3: me feel like I just like want to run through
- 29:38Speaker 3: a field with my wind in my hair.
- 29:41Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 29:42Speaker 3: I also love the girls like Girls motion Picture. I
- 29:44Speaker 3: love Dieing for You with Young Miko.
- 29:46Speaker 1: Yeah, that one's like a like a like surprising sneak
- 29:49Speaker 1: up on me.
- 29:50Speaker 3: Yeah. I love Perry Winkle Princess. I love August's voice. Yeah,
- 29:55Speaker 3: the whole album's amazing. Okay, well, based off your quick
- 29:58Speaker 3: listen of Olivia Rodrigue and I want to hear Marks
- 30:00Speaker 3: because I haven't listened, so I'm interested to hear the
- 30:04Speaker 3: top three that I should prioritize.
- 30:06Speaker 1: So I'm gonna take the Cure out of it just
- 30:08Speaker 1: because we like dropped out in the Cure we already had.
- 30:13Speaker 1: So I'm just gonna take those off because the Cure
- 30:14Speaker 1: is really one of my favorites, if not my favorite,
- 30:17Speaker 1: it's so I'm just gonna take those out of the running.
- 30:19Speaker 1: Stupid song is I'd say my number one You and
- 30:25Speaker 1: Me equals Heart Forever, or it's just you and Me
- 30:28Speaker 1: equals Heart you plus me heart, it's not equals a
- 30:32Speaker 1: heart equals heart.
- 30:33Speaker 5: Have you heard the song Yeah, you plus me equals a.
- 30:35Speaker 1: Heart for Oh, you plus me equals You're Right Forever?
- 30:40Speaker 1: And then Maggots for Brains. I'd say those are my
- 30:43Speaker 1: top three.
- 30:45Speaker 5: I think you can't go wrong. The song of this
- 30:47Speaker 5: album is really really great, more than sour. I mean,
- 30:51Speaker 5: it's tough because it's a different vibe, the rock chick
- 30:54Speaker 5: vibe she was going for. Originally, she's very eighties new wave.
- 30:57Speaker 5: In this album, it's very like I mean, look, there's
- 31:00Speaker 5: a song called The Cure drop Dead references the Cure.
- 31:04Speaker 5: There's a song with Robert Smith from the Cure. Two
- 31:07Speaker 5: or three songs sound just like the Cure. So it's
- 31:10Speaker 5: heavily Cure influence, where the other stuff was, you know,
- 31:14Speaker 5: more like yeah, more of a never sound. So anyway,
- 31:17Speaker 5: I would have said, if you'd asked me first, I
- 31:19Speaker 5: would have said, stupid song and you plus me equals
- 31:22Speaker 5: the Heart. I think those two are singles, and I
- 31:23Speaker 5: think they're both.
- 31:24Speaker 3: Smashing songs of the summer.
- 31:26Speaker 5: I think there's potential for either of those to be sold.
- 31:28Speaker 5: Whatever they want to release next could be songs. This Wow,
- 31:31Speaker 5: because those are both really really great. What's wrong with
- 31:34Speaker 5: Me with Robert Smith is really really good. That's what
- 31:37Speaker 5: my kids are really into. And I thought Honeybee and
- 31:40Speaker 5: Less are just beautiful.
- 31:42Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, I was saying I saw a Honeybee edit
- 31:46Speaker 3: to girls like Girls scenes from of like Maya and
- 31:51Speaker 3: Maira or Sonya and Coley to Olivia Rodrigo song. So
- 31:56Speaker 3: we're just getting crossovers left and right, left to see
- 32:00Speaker 3: community being represented, just like.
- 32:02Speaker 4: Women women helping women Yeah, yeah.
- 32:06Speaker 3: Women lifting women, yeah, w l W women lifting women exactly.
- 32:13Speaker 1: Oh, but yeah, it's pretty good. I'm gonna give it
- 32:14Speaker 1: a couple more listens, but I just like, I was
- 32:16Speaker 1: really entrenched in Haley Kyoko's soundtrack this weekend, and so
- 32:19Speaker 1: that's where my my like Legions lives. Yes, but I
- 32:24Speaker 1: did give it a couple listens to Olivia.
- 32:26Speaker 3: Yeah, I'm gonna I'm gonna get into it because I
- 32:30Speaker 3: love Olivia Rodrigo, love her.
- 32:33Speaker 1: Yeah, she's a little cutie.
- 32:35Speaker 3: I was thinking about this for you as just like
- 32:39Speaker 3: some suggestions just based on what your activities have been lately.
- 32:43Speaker 3: But I'll do that when we come back. We're back, Okay,
- 33:08Speaker 3: So there there's some things that happy couples do in
- 33:12Speaker 3: the evening instead of watching TV. And I know that
- 33:19Speaker 3: when you've got two seasons of Love Island and barbecue brawl, Like,
- 33:23Speaker 3: I know, it's hard to find other activities.
- 33:26Speaker 1: But I just wanted to brawls just once a week,
- 33:29Speaker 1: so it's not that hard to digest, Okay, okay, yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 33:33Speaker 3: I just wanted to see if y'all do any of
- 33:35Speaker 3: these things outside of watching TV.
- 33:37Speaker 2: Hit me take walks together. Yeah, you'll do tikewalk. It
- 33:41Speaker 2: took a very long walk this weekend.
- 33:43Speaker 3: Yeah, y'all really did. I was thinking about how long
- 33:45Speaker 3: that walked. When you told me you went from your
- 33:47Speaker 3: house to the Maybourne I was like, that was a
- 33:50Speaker 3: really long jaunt.
- 33:51Speaker 1: For ye Hilly, we don't go back up ober home.
- 33:58Speaker 3: That is so funny. I've always thought about that when
- 34:01Speaker 3: you talk about walking to dinner, the walk back up.
- 34:03Speaker 4: Yeah, yeah, because that's the thing.
- 34:05Speaker 1: We'll like walk, we'll have dinner, and then by the
- 34:07Speaker 1: time we're done with dinner, it's like dark, so then
- 34:08Speaker 1: we'll just like uber hup.
- 34:09Speaker 3: Oh yeah that's nice. Okay. Well, getting outside for some
- 34:13Speaker 3: fresh air can help reduce stress and overall well being.
- 34:16Speaker 3: Like Haley and I, if we're both just in one,
- 34:20Speaker 3: we're like, let's go for a walk, and it calms
- 34:23Speaker 3: calms us down so much. Yeah, cook her bike together.
- 34:29Speaker 3: You're more of like a watch and eat. Yeah.
- 34:32Speaker 1: I do offer to help him, and when he says, yeah,
- 34:34Speaker 1: you can help me, I'm always.
- 34:35Speaker 3: Like, why did he take me up?
- 34:39Speaker 1: Yeah? I wash the parsley and while man, not the
- 34:43Speaker 1: butter lettuce, anything but the butter lettuce.
- 34:46Speaker 4: Those things are dirty as hell.
- 34:48Speaker 3: I hate washing the producing chopping it.
- 34:52Speaker 1: Why don't you buy the pre washed butter lettuce. He
- 34:54Speaker 1: buys the butter lettuce. That's like all in a head
- 34:58Speaker 1: and then it's all dirty.
- 34:59Speaker 3: You have to wash peace by peace.
- 35:00Speaker 4: I'm like, what are you.
- 35:03Speaker 5: Saying that he on a typical night when you're not helping,
- 35:05Speaker 5: he cooks a new cleanup.
- 35:06Speaker 4: Right, yes, And so that's still like and you were.
- 35:09Speaker 5: Complaining here the other day that he uses every dish imaginable.
- 35:14Speaker 1: Literally he uses like.
- 35:18Speaker 4: Who's like hamburgers.
- 35:19Speaker 1: Who'll put the raw patties on, like three of them
- 35:23Speaker 1: on the plate and then like we're having six, so
- 35:25Speaker 1: I'll have two separate plates for the raw. Then he'll
- 35:26Speaker 1: get other ones for the clean So that's like four
- 35:28Speaker 1: plates right there. Everything has its own new dish. We had,
- 35:32Speaker 1: uh we barbecued yesterday. There are six of us and
- 35:36Speaker 1: I had like not paper plates but like not plastic
- 35:42Speaker 1: because they're biodegradable, but you know, like those like wooden
- 35:45Speaker 1: plates or whatever to not to like try and like
- 35:49Speaker 1: minimize the dishes that I had to do after And
- 35:51Speaker 1: yet I walk into the kitchen and I'm like, it's
- 35:53Speaker 1: just piles of just the utensils and the things that
- 35:57Speaker 1: he uses spice.
- 35:59Speaker 5: Every little eating gets its own separate dish.
- 36:01Speaker 1: Yes, everything is in its own little dish.
- 36:03Speaker 2: I'm like, babe, I'm like that too, though, But how
- 36:06Speaker 2: old are you supposed to do it?
- 36:07Speaker 3: You don't want touching, I know.
- 36:09Speaker 1: And you don't want it's like, you know, you can't
- 36:11Speaker 1: tell the chef how to cook, you know what I mean,
- 36:13Speaker 1: Like I gotta let him cook.
- 36:15Speaker 3: So like so you're you got big dish dish duty
- 36:18Speaker 3: when it's time to clean up.
- 36:20Speaker 4: So can I tell you something that's life changing?
- 36:22Speaker 1: But I am thirty eight years old and I never
- 36:26Speaker 1: and I do dishes like I'm like the dish girl,
- 36:29Speaker 1: you know, like he'll do the dishes, but like really
- 36:31Speaker 1: like they're they're my load. I just started using gloves.
- 36:38Speaker 1: Do you know how amazing dish washing gloves are?
- 36:41Speaker 3: No, I've never had them, Becca, Damn, we're old.
- 36:45Speaker 5: Yeah, this podcast is really turned into something, hasn't it.
- 36:53Speaker 3: I am anxious because I also am the dish girl.
- 36:56Speaker 1: So I'm please send me the way. Do I have
- 36:59Speaker 1: the gloves? I put my initials on the glove.
- 37:02Speaker 3: Just gross.
- 37:03Speaker 1: I put my initials on the gloves so that nobody
- 37:06Speaker 1: else uses my dish gloves because I love them that much.
- 37:11Speaker 4: Are they the yellow gloves? Yellow rubber gloves?
- 37:14Speaker 3: You?
- 37:16Speaker 4: No? No, no, no, no no. But I'm like, why
- 37:18Speaker 4: have I gone my whole life?
- 37:19Speaker 1: Now I can wash the dishes with scolding hot water
- 37:23Speaker 1: and not feel the thing. It's amazing And the grip, yes,
- 37:30Speaker 1: flying out of this is the best invention ever.
- 37:38Speaker 3: God, I've mixed emotions about this show.
- 37:43Speaker 5: Is Hey, I got a hot date tonight. I'm interviewing
- 37:45Speaker 5: Harry Styles. I'm living the life.
- 37:48Speaker 3: And I'll interviewing her. Yeah, if you know, she's still
- 37:51Speaker 3: interview her cells. But now we have dish gloves too,
- 37:54Speaker 3: Like we have a multitude of rain.
- 37:56Speaker 1: You know what Mark, being in your twenties and dating
- 38:01Speaker 1: doesn't make not being in your twenties and dating doesn't
- 38:04Speaker 1: make you less interesting.
- 38:09Speaker 3: Sorry, I was.
- 38:10Speaker 5: Looking at Lolo, nineteen year old Lolo in the back
- 38:12Speaker 5: room station the dishwasher gloves conversation.
- 38:17Speaker 3: Well, she that's something she should know about because she
- 38:19Speaker 3: can keep her hands yep, my god, I've probably took
- 38:22Speaker 3: ten years hands.
- 38:23Speaker 4: I want to use these gloves.
- 38:24Speaker 3: And I started doing this like this is helpful for
- 38:28Speaker 3: all ages? Really this? Yeahashion?
- 38:31Speaker 1: And you know what, Mark, I think I'm still as
- 38:33Speaker 1: interesting and as fun as when we started this podcast.
- 38:35Speaker 5: I did not mean to suggest, all right.
- 38:38Speaker 4: It's what you imply for.
- 38:39Speaker 3: Have you all played the game? The guests who game
- 38:41Speaker 3: that we played on the podcast. Have you and Robbie
- 38:43Speaker 3: just dabbled in that together? No? Okay, well, Haley and
- 38:46Speaker 3: I certainly have.
- 38:47Speaker 4: And the funny part does seem like it'd be fun
- 38:50Speaker 4: to play.
- 38:50Speaker 3: The funny part is that when it's just two people,
- 38:53Speaker 3: you could just have someone in your head. It's because
- 38:55Speaker 3: it's that guess it's like twenty questions, right, yeah, And
- 38:58Speaker 3: so we had them on our heads and they keep
- 39:00Speaker 3: kept falling, and then she goes, wait, why are we Look,
- 39:03Speaker 3: we both know the person we chose, so why do
- 39:06Speaker 3: we need to have it visual?
- 39:10Speaker 1: Oh right, all right.
- 39:12Speaker 3: So anyways, that's a good one, but it says play
- 39:14Speaker 3: a two player game together. So y'all play cards, y'all.
- 39:17Speaker 3: Y'all are very active in the game community.
- 39:19Speaker 2: We are gamers coming up taking dance lessons.
- 39:26Speaker 1: NASA tournament on Wednesday night, Oh attorney.
- 39:29Speaker 5: Yeah, for yourself and the tournament. Sorry, I'll be quiet.
- 39:39Speaker 2: Mom thinks that me aging means I'm boring.
- 39:45Speaker 5: It's like your rose Ennyland from The Golden Girls. At
- 39:48Speaker 5: this point talking about diswasher gloves.
- 39:50Speaker 1: And always being an old soul, I've always been like
- 39:53Speaker 1: I think it's true.
- 39:54Speaker 3: Like for I remember she was even during her dating. Yeah,
- 39:59Speaker 3: she would put her yourself to sleep and we'd be like, Tanya,
- 40:01Speaker 3: you you do need to go out, maybe to me
- 40:05Speaker 3: like Monger than seven pm to get out there. And
- 40:09Speaker 3: she did and here she she earned this spot with
- 40:13Speaker 3: her blanky in her lap, yes, and dishwasher gloves. Have
- 40:19Speaker 3: you ever taken dance lessons?
- 40:20Speaker 1: Never? We actually were going to for I couldn't remember
- 40:23Speaker 1: if we were going to choreograph like our first dance,
- 40:27Speaker 1: but we didn't end up doing it. We felt like
- 40:30Speaker 1: it was like too contrived.
- 40:33Speaker 3: Yeah, you just had to let it flow. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah,
- 40:36Speaker 3: I would love to take dance lessons. Would be so fun.
- 40:39Speaker 1: Nothing sounds worse to me.
- 40:42Speaker 3: But you're a good dance I'm not going to dance.
- 40:44Speaker 1: Yeah, you really are. Love you, but I'm not you.
- 40:48Speaker 1: I could do the macarena, and that is every dance.
- 40:51Speaker 3: That I've taught you to do on a TikTok or reil.
- 40:53Speaker 3: You do it. Not great, yes you do. You choose
- 40:58Speaker 3: the intense spatial expressions and movements, but you pick up
- 41:03Speaker 3: the movements very quickly. Anyways, I think you do really well.
- 41:05Speaker 3: Do you'll ever do arts and crafts together?
- 41:08Speaker 1: Not really?
- 41:09Speaker 3: Maybe that one you could implement, yeah maybe, yeah. Well great, God,
- 41:16Speaker 3: y'all are y'all, are y'all seem you're gonna make it.
- 41:19Speaker 3: It feels like you're gonna make it. To strengthen your relationship.
- 41:22Speaker 1: Yeah, I do want to start cooking for him, though
- 41:25Speaker 1: a little bit. It's feeling a little.
- 41:28Speaker 3: But he loves cooking. I guess it's not like you're like,
- 41:32Speaker 3: get in the kitchen.
- 41:34Speaker 1: Yeah, get in the kitchen and grill and give me
- 41:37Speaker 1: some food. Could you imagine.
- 41:41Speaker 3: Yeah, that'd be so funny. Alright after you said you'd
- 41:44Speaker 3: give him twenty minutes of TV time, I'm like, yeah,
- 41:46Speaker 3: I guess I could imagine you saying that scary, that's a.
- 41:51Speaker 4: Rigid like that.
- 41:52Speaker 1: Okay, it just kind of happens to work out that way.
- 41:54Speaker 3: Do you have your outfit for tonight for the premiere? So?
- 41:58Speaker 4: Yikes, I have an outfit.
- 42:00Speaker 1: I haven't tried it on, which does worry me a
- 42:03Speaker 1: little bit because it's like a cape, so it could
- 42:06Speaker 1: be really bad and if it doesn't work, then I'm screwed.
- 42:10Speaker 3: I love the cape.
- 42:11Speaker 1: Look like pants, like a flowy wood no, tight tight cape,
- 42:17Speaker 1: tight cape around my arms, kind of like mummy, like
- 42:21Speaker 1: a mummy.
- 42:24Speaker 3: Like a British mum.
- 42:25Speaker 1: Oh like a mummy, not mummy, No mummy, a mummy.
- 42:30Speaker 3: That's what your cape looks like.
- 42:32Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 42:32Speaker 4: Oh it's cute though. Yeah, I'm not describing it.
- 42:35Speaker 3: Yeah, no, no, no, I I think that you have
- 42:37Speaker 3: really upped your game in fashion.
- 42:39Speaker 4: Thank you so much.
- 42:40Speaker 3: Used I used to have to tell you to buy
- 42:42Speaker 3: your skirts and dresses the right size because Tanya would
- 42:46Speaker 3: not buy the like. There are certain things where you
- 42:48Speaker 3: can wear it loose and bag like this shirt, you know,
- 42:50Speaker 3: like you can get a looser, bigger size if you
- 42:53Speaker 3: want it to be oversized. But she would get a
- 42:55Speaker 3: tight dress and dress that was supposed to be body
- 42:58Speaker 3: con tight. Two the size is too big because it
- 43:01Speaker 3: was more comfortable. And I'm like, yeah, well a nightgown
- 43:04Speaker 3: also would be more comfortable, So might as well just
- 43:07Speaker 3: do that if you're gonna sacrifice.
- 43:09Speaker 1: I never used to wear clothes that fit me. It's
- 43:12Speaker 1: so weird. Yeah, but clothes that fit you are so uncomfortable.
- 43:15Speaker 3: I know. But like when I am getting ready for
- 43:17Speaker 3: an event, I just assume I'm not going to be comfortable.
- 43:20Speaker 4: Oh I know, it's such a drag, but I.
- 43:23Speaker 3: Don't think about it once I'm out. You know, I
- 43:27Speaker 3: wore that. I wore a corset top on to the
- 43:31Speaker 3: thing on Friday night, and it pushed my boobs up
- 43:34Speaker 3: so high that everyone I had multiple people asked if
- 43:36Speaker 3: I got my boobs done.
- 43:37Speaker 1: I thought you would look like you got your boobs done,
- 43:39Speaker 1: and I was like, no, my top is so tight
- 43:41Speaker 1: that they had nowhere else to go.
- 43:43Speaker 3: And when I took the top off, my ribs had
- 43:45Speaker 3: like a bruise. On them from the boning of the corset.
- 43:49Speaker 1: You know what's so so Like, I just think I'm
- 43:52Speaker 1: at this age where I'm just tired of it. Like
- 43:59Speaker 1: I'm always cold. I have a blanket in the studio,
- 44:02Speaker 1: Like I never wear tank tops because I'm always freezing.
- 44:04Speaker 4: Okay, so I know this about myself.
- 44:06Speaker 1: I'm always cold. And yet I'm going to a bar
- 44:09Speaker 1: mitzvah that's at night outside and I'm wearing this like
- 44:12Speaker 1: it's it's cocktail attire. So I'm like, I wear a dress,
- 44:14Speaker 1: but I know that I'm gonna be effing cold. And
- 44:17Speaker 1: guess what happens when I get there. I'm freezing.
- 44:19Speaker 4: And I got to that yeah, and I.
- 44:21Speaker 1: Thank god they had merch shout out Jenny, and I
- 44:24Speaker 1: put that sweater right on, and I was fine. But
- 44:26Speaker 1: I was like, why do I not dress to make
- 44:29Speaker 1: myself comfortable? Do you know what I mean? Like, I'm like,
- 44:31Speaker 1: why am I not investing in like some nice slacks
- 44:34Speaker 1: and like a cocktail top?
- 44:36Speaker 3: Do you know what I mean? Yeah?
- 44:37Speaker 1: But done are the days of me needing to wear
- 44:40Speaker 1: dresses all the time.
- 44:42Speaker 3: Yeah, but you can still wear if you like to
- 44:44Speaker 3: wear a dress, you can still wear a dress, but.
- 44:46Speaker 4: I don't want to be cold, but anymore.
- 44:48Speaker 3: Like a scarf for something that you put around your shoulders,
- 44:51Speaker 3: wearing clothes, toed shoes, the sandals.
- 44:56Speaker 1: And while I'm here, I'm going on a heel free summer.
- 45:00Speaker 1: No more inches above two on my foot until September.
- 45:04Speaker 3: Kin's only kin's only kin heels are flats are bus Yeah.
- 45:08Speaker 1: Kitten heels flats sneaks, Wow, jellies, whoa two inches? Two inches?
- 45:17Speaker 1: I'm done.
- 45:19Speaker 3: I don't pee. For people who don't live in southern California,
- 45:22Speaker 3: it will be like blazing hot during the day and
- 45:25Speaker 3: then it drops significantly.
- 45:27Speaker 1: Yes, it was like fifty degrees on Saturday night. I'm
- 45:30Speaker 1: in this like little slinky lace dress with sandal open
- 45:34Speaker 1: toad shoes like a chump.
- 45:38Speaker 3: Maybe you just need to bring a bag with some
- 45:40Speaker 3: close toad shoes and slacks and the top, just so
- 45:43Speaker 3: you're cozy. Robbie didn't have a jacket that he offered you.
- 45:47Speaker 1: He did offer me his jacket, but then I looked
- 45:48Speaker 1: at him and he looked cold, So then.
- 45:50Speaker 4: I feel bad.
- 45:53Speaker 3: You all might need to bring just some heating those
- 45:56Speaker 3: little heating.
- 45:57Speaker 4: Pads you can stick it up at the bottom of
- 45:59Speaker 4: my feet.
- 46:00Speaker 3: Yeah, some hand warmers.
- 46:02Speaker 4: Well, you know, like I'm so insane.
- 46:04Speaker 1: But like they say, when you're like trying to conceive,
- 46:06Speaker 1: to keep your feet warm, Like they say, warm feet
- 46:09Speaker 1: is a warm uterus and that's what you want. So
- 46:11Speaker 1: I've been like obsessed with keeping my feet warm for
- 46:14Speaker 1: the last year. So I like do not like going
- 46:17Speaker 1: out at night with like my feet exposed, because I'm like,
- 46:20Speaker 1: I'm supposed to keep my feet warm.
- 46:23Speaker 3: You does your brain ever just shut off? Ron?
- 46:26Speaker 1: It doesn't.
- 46:27Speaker 3: I think you're okay to have some open toe shoes
- 46:30Speaker 3: at night.
- 46:31Speaker 1: I was trying to like describe this to Robbie over
- 46:32Speaker 1: the weekend because I'm like, I think it's just so
- 46:34Speaker 1: different for me and for him. You know, Like I'm
- 46:36Speaker 1: like I cannot turn it off. It's constantly in the
- 46:40Speaker 1: back of my head.
- 46:41Speaker 4: Yeah, everything that I do.
- 46:43Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 46:46Speaker 3: Yeah, No, some we can't relate me and Robbie.
- 46:49Speaker 1: No, some people can.
- 46:51Speaker 4: A lot of people can't.
- 46:51Speaker 3: Oh wait before we go, Haley did this like streight
- 46:55Speaker 3: interview thing in New York, and she said something about
- 46:59Speaker 3: how one thing she likes to do is like when
- 47:02Speaker 3: I'm taking a bath, She'll come and sit like just
- 47:04Speaker 3: with the toilet like clothes, but like sit on the
- 47:06Speaker 3: toilet and talk to me. She was like, I'm CODE
- 47:08Speaker 3: dependent and I like just like to sit there. Well,
- 47:10Speaker 3: we're not taking a bath together, but becka second bath
- 47:12Speaker 3: and I'm sitting there just to be in the room
- 47:14Speaker 3: with her. And someone commented was like, Hailey is so
- 47:18Speaker 3: tawny I code. I was like, true, so true.
- 47:22Speaker 1: Robbie left it like it was Sunday morning and he
- 47:25Speaker 1: woke up straight out of ben like went to the
- 47:27Speaker 1: grocery store to get groceries for his barbecue brawl.
- 47:29Speaker 4: And I texted him maybe it was not for twenty minutes.
- 47:31Speaker 1: I was like, I miss you. He's like, be home
- 47:35Speaker 1: in twenty.
- 47:35Speaker 3: He's like, please gotta get the goods for your dishes
- 47:40Speaker 3: for you to do dishes for.
- 47:41Speaker 4: Yeah, it's tough being Haley and I.
- 47:44Speaker 3: Well, I can't wait to know y'all are so loved.
- 47:48Speaker 3: Y'all both have a really great situation in great partners.
- 47:51Speaker 4: That's true that period.
- 47:53Speaker 3: Clocket, Well, we will be leaving now, but we will
- 47:59Speaker 3: be back back on Thursday with dear Bonia, and I
- 48:02Speaker 3: think we're going to do the Guess who game again.
- 48:05Speaker 3: If we're feeling wild. Yeah, so stay tuned for that
- 48:10Speaker 3: and we love you so much. Let's be back Thursday. Bye.
