Transcript
- 0:00[SPEAKER_00]: Jacksonville Jack Wars fans, welcome in to Dove All Daily Prisoner by Jin Jack.com, and fuel by Brass Tax Coffee.
- 0:05[SPEAKER_00]: It is Saturday, September 12th, and I wanted to offer some final bold predictions here for the 2026 NFL season.
- 0:13[SPEAKER_00]: And by that, I'm not talking about MVP, offensive player the year, all of these popularity awards.
- 0:21[SPEAKER_00]: I'm talking about
- 0:30[SPEAKER_00]: I have gotten to the point here one day away from the Jaguars, 2026 NFL season getting kicked off.
- 0:40[SPEAKER_00]: In Jacksonville, Everbank, Stadium against the Cleveland Browns, hopefully 42,500 fans, something like that in these stands, getting rowdy, getting rock, as welcoming them the Browns to town.
- 0:52[SPEAKER_00]: I have the Jaguars representing the UFC in the Super Bowl.
- 0:57[SPEAKER_00]: I do.
- 0:58[SPEAKER_00]: I've got the Jaguar as making it all the way to the Super Bowl.
- 1:01[SPEAKER_00]: And before you say, you know, this is just bias or homerism or whatever you want to call it.
- 1:08[SPEAKER_00]: I've never picked the Jaguar as to go to the Super Bowl to win the Super Bowl.
- 1:12[SPEAKER_00]: I haven't.
- 1:14[SPEAKER_00]: I think that this is the year that is the best opportunity we've seen for them since 1999.
- 1:23[SPEAKER_00]: And they probably should have made it to the Super Bowl in 1999.
- 1:27[SPEAKER_00]: This is, I think, the best Jaguar's team that we have seen since then.
- 1:31[SPEAKER_00]: And I think, top to bottom, coaching, the talent, the organizational alignment, the Jaguars aren't an incredibly good spot.
- 1:45[SPEAKER_00]: And earlier this week, I talked about, I thought the Jaguars would probably make it to the AFC title game.
- 1:51[SPEAKER_00]: But,
- 1:53[SPEAKER_00]: I've put them to where I think they're going to make it one step further than that to the Super Bowl and actually I think they're going to win it.
- 2:01[SPEAKER_00]: So I'm excited to get into it.
- 2:02[SPEAKER_00]: Really appreciate you all being here.
- 2:04[SPEAKER_00]: If you enjoy the content, please like and subscribe, and also hit that high button.
- 2:08[SPEAKER_00]: Let me know where you think the Jaguars will finish this year in the comment section below.
- 2:12[SPEAKER_00]: But I've talked about why I'm so bullish on the Jaguars a lot, but like we can just like break it down from top to bottom here and also talk about the AFC and NFC playoff picture I have playing out here.
- 2:27[SPEAKER_00]: Again, Jaguars, I have winning the Super Bowl.
- 2:31[SPEAKER_00]: have them beating the bears.
- 2:33[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, that's not a super popular, super bowl pick right now on the NFC side or on the NFC side.
- 2:38[SPEAKER_00]: Right?
- 2:39[SPEAKER_00]: But I think the Jaguars have the most complete, well balanced team from top to bottom.
- 2:46[SPEAKER_00]: When you talk about the coaching combined with the talent that is actually on the roster on both sides of the ball, plus special teams.
- 2:54[SPEAKER_00]: The special team's just gets overlooked way too often.
- 2:57[SPEAKER_00]: And I'm here to,
- 2:59[SPEAKER_00]: Try to write that a little bit.
- 3:00[SPEAKER_00]: I've talked about that a lot this week, but I think the Jaguars have the best special teams in football, especially when you consider the fact that Parker Washington will still be returning puns for them.
- 3:09[SPEAKER_00]: They have a great returner, great kick returners, right?
- 3:12[SPEAKER_00]: Bacial two in,
- 3:14[SPEAKER_00]: You name it back there, you know, a mirror of duly, whoever it is, they've got really good guys back there at Kick Return as well, but Punter Turn Parker Washington, one of the very best in the business, Logan Cook, Ross Madison, Cam Little, Keith Farwell as your coordinator and a bunch of good guys that can contribute on the coverage units, the blocking units, all that stuff.
- 3:34[SPEAKER_00]: So I have the Jaguars making it to the Super Bowl because I think that they have an elite offensive coach.
- 3:41[SPEAKER_00]: I think Anthony Campanile is the probably most underrated on a general broad sense view from fans and analysts out there in terms of defensive coordinators.
- 3:54[SPEAKER_00]: The way he marries his fronts with his back end is just like, honestly, as good as it gets.
- 4:04[SPEAKER_00]: I really believe that.
- 4:05[SPEAKER_00]: I think that when you look at the way the Jack Wars
- 4:12[SPEAKER_00]: and then you have so much post-snap coverage rotation.
- 4:17[SPEAKER_00]: on the back end.
- 4:18[SPEAKER_00]: And despite having more complex ideas and more on the plate of the players, somehow, they look more confident and more locked in and more dialed in to what they're being asked to do than any Jaguar's defense you have seen in a very, very long time.
- 4:38[SPEAKER_00]: Like they're not having a lot of coverage, but they're not having a lot of mental mistakes.
- 4:48[SPEAKER_00]: I think the combination of Trevor Lawrence going back to the office and offensive side of the ball with Liam Cohen in year two with Parker Washington, Brian Thomas Jr. Jacobie Myers, Britain Strange, basal two in the back field, like when Alan out of the back field when he gets back, I think the group of skill position players at excellent.
- 5:06[SPEAKER_00]: I think the way that those receivers complement each other, including Britain Strange, you have Brian Thomas Jr.
- 5:13[SPEAKER_00]: who can light it up on the vertical plane.
- 5:15[SPEAKER_00]: You have Jacobi Myers who can be your short to intermediate possession guy.
- 5:20[SPEAKER_00]: You have Parker Washington who can win at all three levels.
- 5:22[SPEAKER_00]: You have Britain strange who can win at all three levels.
- 5:25[SPEAKER_00]: And you have Trevor Lawrence that's not afraid to put the ball out there.
- 5:28[SPEAKER_00]: And also if they're covered up, not afraid to take it off and run and make it happen with his legs as well.
- 5:33[SPEAKER_00]: You saw all this develop over the back half of the first year of Liam Cohen's coaching tenure in Jacksonville.
- 5:40[SPEAKER_00]: I don't think that's going anywhere.
- 5:42[SPEAKER_00]: Um, I think Trevor Lawrence is going to ascend to if not the absolute top tier one in the NFL of quarterbacks.
- 5:50[SPEAKER_00]: The very top of tier two, which I already think he's pretty much there, but I know a lot of folks around the league don't.
- 5:56[SPEAKER_00]: I think that the running game is going to improve.
- 5:58[SPEAKER_00]: Look, you've got two running backs.
- 6:01[SPEAKER_00]: That were among the league leaders in rushing success rate last year.
- 6:11[SPEAKER_00]: And I think Basel Tutan is gonna unlock a little bit more of that explosive ability that we know he has within him as well.
- 6:17[SPEAKER_00]: I think the offensive line is something that a lot of people point out as a weakness.
- 6:21[SPEAKER_00]: I don't think it's a weakness.
- 6:23[SPEAKER_00]: I was a little bit more leaning in that direction when Patrick McCary was slated, honestly, to be a starter for them.
- 6:29[SPEAKER_00]: But I think Emmanuel Pregnana is gonna be a big up great over everything you had with your second guard last year.
- 6:35[SPEAKER_00]: And I say second guard because Ezra Cleveland
- 6:39[SPEAKER_00]: vastly underrated as a left guard right guard like he's switching over to right guard right but I think that he is a player that brings violence brings grit and I think Liam Cohen or Grant Yudinsky said it this week I can't remember finishes brings the finish brings the fight and I think that that's a huge thing for the Jaguars among the interior.
- 7:02[SPEAKER_00]: I still think Robert Hainesy is a
- 7:06[SPEAKER_00]: is a, you know, replacement level starter, but because of his leadership, his experience in this offense.
- 7:13[SPEAKER_00]: They love him, he's a team captain.
- 7:15[SPEAKER_00]: Like if that is your weak link on the offensive line because Cole van Lannon, he doesn't have a game status.
- 7:20[SPEAKER_00]: He's gonna start, is he gonna come in as a swing player, is he gonna get a few reps here and there and weak one, I don't know, but he's ready to play.
- 7:29[SPEAKER_00]: And I think the giant wars are gonna have him out there as their full-time starter at Wright Tackle, much sooner rather than later, whether that's weak one or weak two.
- 7:37[SPEAKER_00]: And then Anton Harrison, I know he had the foot and mispractice on Friday, but he doesn't have a game status either.
- 7:44[SPEAKER_00]: He is an ascending tackle in this league.
- 7:48[SPEAKER_00]: And I think you look at the tackle duo of Anton Harrison, Cole Van Lannon, the guard duo of Emmanuel Pregnant, and as a Cleveland, I really like that group a lot.
- 7:57[SPEAKER_00]: And then the fact that you can get into more 12 personnel with Britain, Strange and Nate Borgercher,
- 8:02[SPEAKER_00]: and feel more confident in that than you did last year, right?
- 8:06[SPEAKER_00]: So I see the full picture on offense.
- 8:08[SPEAKER_00]: Defensively, I also see the full picture.
- 8:10[SPEAKER_00]: This was the number one ranked run defense in football last year by a fairly wide margin when you look at yards per game.
- 8:17[SPEAKER_00]: Only average 85.6, I believe.
- 8:19[SPEAKER_00]: Yards per game allowed on the ground.
- 8:21[SPEAKER_00]: I don't think anything about that is changing.
- 8:23[SPEAKER_00]: If anything, it's getting enhanced with some of the players that they added and ventral Miller, I think is actually a more consistent, run defender than Devin Lloyd was last year.
- 8:34[SPEAKER_00]: And then the secondary.
- 8:38[SPEAKER_00]: Travis Hunter, I think, is going to change thanks for the Jaguar Secondary, combined with the fact that Matthew O'Rujo comes in as the Jaguar's past game coordinator on the defensive side of the ball and their, you know, the fact of cornerback coach.
- 8:54[SPEAKER_00]: They're going to try to play more multiple coverages, I think, specifically, like the coverages down the spine were very multiple last year.
- 9:03[SPEAKER_00]: You had so much post-nap cover rotation it was confusing.
- 9:06[SPEAKER_00]: But quarterbacks, good quarterbacks, average quarterbacks, felt like they could attack quick game on the outside and they did with a lot of success very often last year.
- 9:16[SPEAKER_00]: I think the Jaguar's goal is to shut that down this year.
- 9:19[SPEAKER_00]: They're not gonna completely shut it down because part of their defensive philosophy is that zone vision and to allow some short completions here and there.
- 9:28[SPEAKER_00]: But I think they're gonna be ready to make that
- 9:31[SPEAKER_00]: switch to more of a man-match concept when they feel like they need to on money downs.
- 9:37[SPEAKER_00]: And I think with Travis Hunter's skill set, it's gonna allow them to do that a lot more.
- 9:41[SPEAKER_00]: And you talk about safety, I think Antonio Johnson is another one of those players that is so underrated in this league, the way he played back half of the last season when he actually got in the starting lineup, he looked like one of the best safety's in football and it's not just based on the numbers he put up, it's the fact that he is six foot to over 200 pounds
- 10:00[SPEAKER_00]: runs very fast, can play middle of the field safety, can play a cover 2, can come down into the box, you can play the run, you can cover it in coverage obviously, you can do some man stuff against different guys running backs and tight ends, he is very good in smart zone defender for the Jaguars.
- 10:19[SPEAKER_00]: I'm just seeing it all for the Jaguars and I think that that's going to allow them to come out of the AFC and then I think talking about playing with, again, I have the Bears winning the NFC because I just think they're going to have the most dominant offense on football.
- 10:35[SPEAKER_00]: And I think that their defense is a little underrated.
- 10:38[SPEAKER_00]: I don't think it's going to be in elite defense, but I think they'll probably have the number one scoring offense in football this year.
- 10:44[SPEAKER_00]: And I think that Ben Johnson is a masterful head coach.
- 10:47[SPEAKER_00]: I think Dennis Allen is somebody who is going to get that defense playing at a level.
- 10:52[SPEAKER_00]: that will allow them to win so many games because I think they're going to take that step forward on the offensive side of the ball.
- 10:59[SPEAKER_00]: So I have the Jaguars beating the bears in the Super Bowl, and we'll get to everything else here first, but first, you know, it's a bold prediction, right?
- 11:08[SPEAKER_00]: For the Jaguars win in the Super Bowl, the Jaguars are nine point favorites at home over on my bookie against the Browns this week.
- 11:15[SPEAKER_00]: bold prediction for that is I think that they cover that spread.
- 11:18[SPEAKER_00]: I think that the jaguars are going to get it done against the browns.
- 11:21[SPEAKER_00]: My bookies website, highly encourage y'all to go check it out.
- 11:24[SPEAKER_00]: Websites easy to use, desktop or mobile.
- 11:26[SPEAKER_00]: They've got all the action you could ever want, NFL and beyond.
- 11:30[SPEAKER_00]: I personally also take in the jaguars to make the playoffs and I'm punching it in right now.
- 11:35[SPEAKER_00]: Jaguars.
- 11:36[SPEAKER_00]: to win the Super Bowl.

- 12:04[SPEAKER_00]: Well, I have the Jaguar as coming out of the AFC and winning it all.
- 12:07[SPEAKER_00]: Again, this is the first time I've ever predicted this to happen.
- 12:10[SPEAKER_00]: It's not like I do this every year.
- 12:13[SPEAKER_00]: So, I feel pretty damn good about the Jaguars.
- 12:16[SPEAKER_00]: I think the Anthony Campanyla is a great coach.
- 12:17[SPEAKER_00]: I think Liam Cohen is a great coach.
- 12:19[SPEAKER_00]: They have great staffs beneath them.
- 12:21[SPEAKER_00]: I think that Gladstone and the thing too about the Jaguars, if they are at a point in the middle of the season right before the trade deadline, where they are right there, but there's just a piece missing, James Gladstone is going to go make it happen.
- 12:34[SPEAKER_00]: I absolutely do believe that too.
- 12:36[SPEAKER_00]: So I think that even if the Jaguars aren't where they want to be to win a Super Bowl right now, if they are close, they're going to make it happen before the trade deadline.
- 12:47[SPEAKER_00]: I feel very confident about that in James Ladsson, but I have the bills representing the AFC as the number one seed I do.
- 12:55[SPEAKER_00]: I think that there's a very real possibility that the bills go undefeated in their division.
- 13:02[SPEAKER_00]: And as bullish as I am on the jag wars, I don't have them going undefeated in the F.C.
- 13:07[SPEAKER_00]: South, but I think the bills could sweep the entire F.C.
- 13:10[SPEAKER_00]: East this year.
- 13:12[SPEAKER_00]: The Patriots were quite honestly very pathetic, offensively.
- 13:17[SPEAKER_00]: Drake May has struggled against winning teams throughout his career.
- 13:22[SPEAKER_00]: It doesn't feel like that team is ready to make the adjustments to compete at the highest level,
- 13:31[SPEAKER_00]: bounce back from their Super Bowl loss.
- 13:34[SPEAKER_00]: They had a horrible game against the Seahawks offensively.
- 13:37[SPEAKER_00]: I thought they did some things defensively that were impressive overall, but I still just don't think that they're ready to be the team that we kind of maybe expected them to be here that I expected them to be.
- 13:49[SPEAKER_00]: And I think the bills,
- 13:50[SPEAKER_00]: are going to have an advantage based on that, based on being able to play against the AFC East all year.
- 13:57[SPEAKER_00]: So I've got them finishing the one seed.
- 13:58[SPEAKER_00]: The Jaguars, the two seed, the Ravens, the three seed, the Broncos, the four seed, and then I have the Texans finishing in the fifth seed, which is basically right there with the Jaguars.
- 14:08[SPEAKER_00]: I have the Chiefs at six and the Bengals at seven.
- 14:13[SPEAKER_00]: which means there's some teams left out here obviously the Patriots.
- 14:16[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, they have a much more difficult schedule and I do not expect them to just magically become a better team.
- 14:23[SPEAKER_00]: This isn't necessarily just a week one over reaction because we're going to get to the NFC and I'm not over reacting to what I saw in week one on that side with the Rams, the super team, right?
- 14:34[SPEAKER_00]: But I feel like what I saw with the Patriots was a little bit more real and a disappointing
- 14:44[SPEAKER_00]: And I think they're going to be better than they looked.
- 14:47[SPEAKER_00]: And I think that they're going to be competitive.
- 14:48[SPEAKER_00]: But I think the AFC is incredibly competitive.
- 14:51[SPEAKER_00]: I ultimately have the Bengals coming out ahead and the Texans and the Chiefs ahead of the Patriots.
- 14:56[SPEAKER_00]: I don't think the Patriots are going to win their division this year.
- 14:58[SPEAKER_00]: I haven't thought that all offseason.
- 15:01[SPEAKER_00]: And now that you have that one game sample size that looked really embarrassing on the offensive side of the ball combined with the fact that the Patriots led by Drake May
- 15:14[SPEAKER_00]: with their offensive coordinator, they don't beat good teams.
- 15:20[SPEAKER_00]: They just don't do it.
- 15:22[SPEAKER_00]: He is unsuccessful offensively against really good defenses.
- 15:26[SPEAKER_00]: And I think that that is going to plague them this year.
- 15:28[SPEAKER_00]: I think it's going to cost them.
- 15:29[SPEAKER_00]: And then you also have the fact that AJ Brown is now out at least four weeks.
- 15:35[SPEAKER_00]: And that's going to be very difficult for them to deal with.
- 15:37[SPEAKER_00]: They got to come to Jacksonville without AJ Brown.
- 15:39[SPEAKER_00]: That's going to be tough.
- 15:40[SPEAKER_00]: So I have the Patriots out.
- 15:42[SPEAKER_00]: I have the Chargers out.
- 15:43[SPEAKER_00]: A team that's very popular right now.
- 15:45[SPEAKER_00]: Look, man, the Chargers are a team that always gets snicked bit.
- 15:48[SPEAKER_00]: And why should I bet against that now?
- 15:51[SPEAKER_00]: just because Mike McDonald's there.
- 15:52[SPEAKER_00]: I believe in Mike McDonald's, but their team kind of like, well, don't need to compare it to that.
- 15:59[SPEAKER_00]: But I think that they're just a team that gets snake bit with the injury bug with different things that happen, and I'm just not going to bet on the charges over the chiefs, the Texans or the Bengals.
- 16:08[SPEAKER_00]: Certainly not the Broncos this year.
- 16:11[SPEAKER_00]: So yeah, that's my FC Playoff picture.
- 16:13[SPEAKER_00]: And FC, I have the Rams still with the number one seed.
- 16:18[SPEAKER_00]: I think that that was a wake-up call for them.
- 16:20[SPEAKER_00]: I think they're going to bounce back from it in a big way.
- 16:22[SPEAKER_00]: I think getting air and Donald on the field is going to be huge for them as well.
- 16:26[SPEAKER_00]: And I think that like I said, they are a great team.
- 16:29[SPEAKER_00]: They have so much talent.
- 16:30[SPEAKER_00]: They are extremely well coached.
- 16:32[SPEAKER_00]: They will bounce back.
- 16:34[SPEAKER_00]: They may have made a mistake when it comes to the travel plan, right?
- 16:37[SPEAKER_00]: They may have made a big mistake.
- 16:39[SPEAKER_00]: And I also think there was some element to the 49ers probably slept on a little bit as of right now.
- 16:46[SPEAKER_00]: heading into the 2026 season, the 49ers probably sick of hearing about the Rams all off season, and they just brought it.
- 16:53[SPEAKER_00]: And they're healthy.
- 16:53[SPEAKER_00]: They got Fred Warner.
- 16:54[SPEAKER_00]: They got Nick Bosa, George Kittles back out there.
- 16:56[SPEAKER_00]: Obviously didn't play a ton of snaps in this one.
- 16:58[SPEAKER_00]: Mike Evans played some great ball.
- 17:00[SPEAKER_00]: Brock Pretty played great ball.
- 17:02[SPEAKER_00]: Trent Williams is still trying Williams.
- 17:04[SPEAKER_00]: I mean that is a goat level offensive tackle.
- 17:07[SPEAKER_00]: The 49ers are good, but so I've took out the Rams up one.
- 17:10[SPEAKER_00]: I've got the Cowboys with the two seed.
- 17:11[SPEAKER_00]: I think the Christian Parker edition on the defensive side of the ball combined with some of the things they've done over there is going to really lead them to be a more balanced team and their offense is going to be one of the best info ball.
- 17:23[SPEAKER_00]: It is, I think they're going to win a lot of football games.
- 17:25[SPEAKER_00]: I've got the bears as the three seed and ultimately representing the NFC.
- 17:30[SPEAKER_00]: I think Ben Johnson is an elite football coach.
- 17:32[SPEAKER_00]: I think that they have elite talent on the offensive side of the ball.
- 17:35[SPEAKER_00]: And I think they have enough defensively combined with Dennis Allen to represent and take that big step forward in year two of the Ben Johnson experience with Caleb Williams and company.
- 17:48[SPEAKER_00]: Roma Dunes, a Luther burden obviously, coals to in loveland, a good running game.
- 17:57[SPEAKER_00]: at running back.
- 17:58[SPEAKER_00]: So I think that everything's looking good for the bears.
- 18:01[SPEAKER_00]: I think that they're going to be able to do it and represent the NFC, but I think the Jag wars are a more complete team and are able to beat them in the Super Bowl.
- 18:09[SPEAKER_00]: You look at the bucks.
- 18:10[SPEAKER_00]: I have the bucks making it out of the NFC South.
- 18:14[SPEAKER_00]: I think right now, if I had to take one team,
- 18:24[SPEAKER_00]: Two or three weeks, I would take the Saints, but the Saints are like the most injury-plagged roster.
- 18:30[SPEAKER_00]: I've seen in a while.
- 18:33[SPEAKER_00]: Tyler shook, dealt with ton of injuries throughout his career.
- 18:37[SPEAKER_00]: Chris O'Lave, dealt with ton of injuries throughout his career.
- 18:40[SPEAKER_00]: Jordan Tyson is injured right now.
- 18:42[SPEAKER_00]: Their offensive line is filled with a bunch of guys that always get injured.
- 18:47[SPEAKER_00]: I think the Saints are a better team than the bucks right now.
- 18:55[SPEAKER_00]: So that's kind of my take there.
- 18:56[SPEAKER_00]: Then I have the Seahawks, the 49ers, and the Eagles.
- 18:59[SPEAKER_00]: And how does that really good group of three teams as wildcard teams?
- 19:02[SPEAKER_00]: But I have the Rams winning the division.
- 19:05[SPEAKER_00]: I have the Seahawks coming in second.
- 19:07[SPEAKER_00]: The 49ers coming in third, and then I have the Eagles coming up just short of the Dallas Cowboys and the NFC East.
- 19:16[SPEAKER_00]: Really good playoffs this year.
- 19:18[SPEAKER_00]: I think that this would be awesome to see.
- 19:20[SPEAKER_00]: I think that,
- 19:23[SPEAKER_00]: that the jags went in the Super Bowl would just be an unbelievable, unbelievable run, but and when I say I predict the Jaguar's doing the Super Bowl, I do.
- 19:32[SPEAKER_00]: That's what I'm predicting right now, but I think
- 19:37[SPEAKER_00]: Any team, you would take the field against any team, which I would right now.
- 19:42[SPEAKER_00]: If I had to pick the Jaguars or the field, I would take the field, but that's not what this exercise is.
- 19:48[SPEAKER_00]: This is predicting who amongst the entire field of the 32 teams in the NFL is going to win the Super Bowl, who is going to make it from each conference.
- 19:56[SPEAKER_00]: And I'm doing Jaguars and Bears.
- 19:58[SPEAKER_00]: Really appreciate y'all tuning in.
- 20:00[SPEAKER_00]: If you enjoy the content, please like and subscribe.
- 20:02[SPEAKER_00]: Y'all's a great one.
