John 11:14-15 So Jesus then said to them plainly, "Lazarus is dead, and I am glad for your sakes that I was not there, so that you may believe; but let us go to him." Not only did love for Mary and Martha lead Jesus to delay His response, but love for His disciples also. God orchestrates the affairs of life in order that we may believe in Jesus—that our faith might be displayed as wrought by God.
