  Speaker 1: in one place, and because Ben and I haven't done

  Speaker 1: a podcast in person for two and a half years

  Speaker 1: since February's Wild. We used to do them all the time.

  Speaker 1: And the last time we did a live or a
• 0:29
  Speaker 1: podcast together was in Tahoe in February on The Bachelor
• 0:33
  Speaker 1: Live Tour, and we came up here to catch that show. Yeah,
• 0:36
  Speaker 1: so we have a lot going on in Tahoe this year.

  Speaker 1: It's a big celebration with a lot of people that
• 0:42
  Speaker 1: have joined under our family. I just want to take
• 0:44
  Speaker 1: a second Ashley and reminisce for before we introduced the
• 0:47
  Speaker 1: friends that are with us in the room. We were
• 0:49
  Speaker 1: talking at dinner tonight, all of us went to dinner
• 0:51
  Speaker 1: and I was thinking back on when we started this podcast,
• 0:56
  Speaker 1: and it was you and I and Amy Sugarman, and
• 0:59
  Speaker 1: we were doing this whole thing with my heart, trying
• 1:03
  Speaker 1: to figure it out as we go and now to
• 1:05
  Speaker 1: look around the table tonight of twenty seven people. Uh,
• 1:08
  Speaker 1: and how this little network has grown and that we're
• 1:12
  Speaker 1: still here, like we're still we're still doing it. Yeah,
• 1:17
  Speaker 1: that's really really crazy. Now we have a spinoff show,
• 1:21
  Speaker 1: Crystal Bob right here with us. We have growing the
• 1:24
  Speaker 1: Almost Famous family. It's a great it's a great podcast.
• 1:28
  Speaker 1: As I've told you before, my family are fans because
• 1:31
  Speaker 1: a lot of the people that you're talking about, a
• 1:33
  Speaker 1: lot of things that you're doing, a lot of the
• 1:35
  Speaker 1: ways that you're relating the current uh time of the Bachelor,
• 1:39
  Speaker 1: which is affected uh pop culture especially, but culture in
• 1:43
  Speaker 1: general in so many ways within the US. UM, it's
• 1:47
  Speaker 1: so interesting for the people look back on uh. And
• 1:49
  Speaker 1: so if somebody that's listening isn't familiar, can you give
• 1:53
  Speaker 1: us like a thirty second sales pitch one of you
• 1:56
  Speaker 1: on why they should listen to uh this in credible
• 2:00
  Speaker 1: new entity underneath the almost famous umbrella. Sure, um Bob
• 2:04
  Speaker 1: is really funny. Trista last at my jokes. That's all
• 2:08
  Speaker 1: I need. That's all I need. Uh. You know, so
• 2:10
  Speaker 1: we um Tristan and I obviously are I think often
• 2:14
  Speaker 1: viewed as a couple of the what do we say
• 2:16
  Speaker 1: fairy godmother and Neanderthal h No, But like, you know,
• 2:21
  Speaker 1: we were Tristo was the original Bachelor out of course
• 2:24
  Speaker 1: I was on her season, and then they made me
• 2:25
  Speaker 1: the Bachelor right after that, and you know, after the
• 2:29
  Speaker 1: Bachelor right after that, did I as I said, the
• 2:33
  Speaker 1: Bachelor right after that whatever? So then I was the
• 2:36
  Speaker 1: Bachelor utte. Now it was fun and so our our
• 2:40
  Speaker 1: perception or our perspective, I guess is obviously from the
• 2:43
  Speaker 1: early start of this whole franchise, and so to see
• 2:46
  Speaker 1: everyone who's come off of it over the years, you know,
• 2:49
  Speaker 1: and done so much good stuff, it's it kind of
• 2:51
  Speaker 1: makes us proud proud parents. You know, it's really crazy.
• 2:55
  Speaker 1: Today I said hi to Tristo and she was on
• 2:58
  Speaker 1: the airplane and ILI walked her and then I sat
• 3:00
  Speaker 1: down and I was like, you know, she's like a celebrity,
• 3:05
  Speaker 1: she's your friend, and it's just like really cool. Like
• 3:09
  Speaker 1: it's crazy because there's so much time in between our
• 3:12
  Speaker 1: times on the show. But like so I think back
• 3:15
  Speaker 1: of myself seeing her on the cover of tabloids and stuff,
• 3:20
  Speaker 1: and now who would have ever thought that, like we'd
• 3:22
  Speaker 1: be part of the same Bachelor family. Like I wouldn't
• 3:25
  Speaker 1: go back and tell myself seeing her in the in
• 3:28
  Speaker 1: the grocery store aisle like that, I was gonna know
• 3:32
  Speaker 1: her one day. And like Bob, you two, Like Mom
• 3:35
  Speaker 1: was always like the Bachelor Bob, that bachelor Bob. So
• 3:41
  Speaker 1: when we were talking about the last time we were
• 3:42
  Speaker 1: on the same room together, which was the Janner wedding,
• 3:44
  Speaker 1: and I don't know if you guys remember, um, one
• 3:47
  Speaker 1: of the one of my favorite moments of that wedding was, um,
• 3:50
  Speaker 1: the speech, the best man's speech, and uh, oh my gosh,
• 3:54
  Speaker 1: what I remember the best man's speech because like two
• 3:57
  Speaker 1: of my closest friends and I haven't no idea who
• 4:00
  Speaker 1: did well, I remember one part of it, so, um,
• 4:05
  Speaker 1: what's the guy's name that did? I can't think of
• 4:06
  Speaker 1: his name. All of a sudden, Oh my god, I
• 4:08
  Speaker 1: feel so terrible. But he comes in and he's like
• 4:10
  Speaker 1: he goes and he's really funny speech, but it was
• 4:15
  Speaker 1: like a it was, and he's like, oh my gosh,
• 4:19
  Speaker 1: I'm looking around the room and I see, like, you know,
• 4:22
  Speaker 1: Bachelor Royalty, Trista's here. Oh my god, it's Bachelor Bob.
• 4:25
  Speaker 1: He was my mom's favorite when she was in high school.
• 4:29
  Speaker 1: I that that's what you're going to take it as,
• 4:33
  Speaker 1: but not it's not. But it was still my favorite.
• 4:37
  Speaker 1: But you know what, because of all that, we're able
• 4:39
  Speaker 1: to do almost famous ogs like I you know, we
• 4:43
  Speaker 1: did an interview probably a year ago now, and it
• 4:47
  Speaker 1: was for Entertainment Tonight or something, and we were like,
• 4:50
  Speaker 1: you know what, we have so much fun together. We
• 4:52
  Speaker 1: should do something together. And I'm like, you know what,
• 4:54
  Speaker 1: we need to do a podcast about o gs. And
• 4:57
  Speaker 1: we reached out to Sugarman and oh and behold you
• 5:00
  Speaker 1: was like, you know what, I have the perfect place
• 5:02
  Speaker 1: for you guys. Let's actually just bring in some of
• 5:06
  Speaker 1: the like kind of like old school Bachelor people. And
• 5:09
  Speaker 1: we've had such a great time connecting, reconnecting really with
• 5:14
  Speaker 1: people from from back in the day, you know, from
• 5:18
  Speaker 1: the people who watched us back in the day that
• 5:23
  Speaker 1: they know. You know, there's so many people. I know,
• 5:25
  Speaker 1: I get this all the time. You're the only season
• 5:28
  Speaker 1: I watched um and and And I know there are
• 5:32
  Speaker 1: so many others who continue to watch the show and
• 5:35
  Speaker 1: love it, but I feel like they're there's something about
• 5:39
  Speaker 1: the innocence of the show back when we were on
• 5:42
  Speaker 1: it that I feel like people relate to and they
• 5:45
  Speaker 1: love and and that's why they've they've enjoyed listening to
• 5:50
  Speaker 1: the podcast. So I just want to say thank you
• 5:51
  Speaker 1: to YouTube for letting us, you know, spin off. Yeah. True,

  Speaker 1: crazy to think that when we did the show, there
• 5:58
  Speaker 1: was no there was no social media, and there were
• 6:00
  Speaker 1: no no, no such thing as a podcast, right, So
• 6:03
  Speaker 1: I mean, if you really think about it, I mean,
• 6:07
  Speaker 1: people go on the show now and they know there
• 6:09
  Speaker 1: are some avenues for them when they come off of
• 6:12
  Speaker 1: the show, and for us back then, it was like, okay,
• 6:15
  Speaker 1: good back to your old life. Beat it. We have
• 6:19
  Speaker 1: to talk about how today trust To introduced her son
• 6:24
  Speaker 1: Max to Bob and how that should I say it?
• 6:29
  Speaker 1: You were okay? So Max, my poor Max. It was
• 6:36
  Speaker 1: so funny because I just didn't expect that. I really didn't.
• 6:39
  Speaker 1: So Max Um is fifteen, he just turned fifteen last
• 6:43
  Speaker 1: week and he's with Ryan and I are daughters at
• 6:46
  Speaker 1: dance camp Um and so we brought Max along and
• 6:50
  Speaker 1: we were all together as a group taking pictures and
• 6:53
  Speaker 1: I walked up to Bob and I was with Max,
• 6:55
  Speaker 1: and I said, hey, Max, you have to meet Bob.
• 6:58
  Speaker 1: Meet my ex Bob. My boyfriends, and I'm just like, oh,
• 7:04
  Speaker 1: we're going there, We're doing that. The best is Max's
• 7:07
  Speaker 1: face looked like any fifteen year old when that so
• 7:10
  Speaker 1: would happened to me. He just put his head down,
• 7:12
  Speaker 1: like mom. We also have Analyze and Kaylyn with us. Uh.
• 7:30
  Speaker 1: We're gonna start with analise analize. Uh. It has been
• 7:34
  Speaker 1: a long time since we've would have been with you. You
• 7:35
  Speaker 1: You are a friend of the show. Um, but because
• 7:39
  Speaker 1: of COVID, you know, Ashley and I haven't been together
• 7:41
  Speaker 1: into nep years, which means I think the last time
• 7:43
  Speaker 1: that we were together you were with us as well,
• 7:46
  Speaker 1: which is wild to think about because lots of change. Uh,
• 7:49
  Speaker 1: analyse what's going on in your life? I know uh
• 7:53
  Speaker 1: that you are spent some time up here in Tayhoe,
• 7:55
  Speaker 1: which is where we're we're at right now, also some
• 7:58
  Speaker 1: time in San Francisco. So thanks for taking time to

  Speaker 1: the last time we were all together was in Tao

  Speaker 1: and it was Valentine's Day and I remember being an

  Speaker 1: awkward um seventh wheel. I was saying this earlier then

  Speaker 1: you were with jess Uh Kailin was a teen actually
• 8:21
  Speaker 1: it was with Jared and I was there was like
• 8:23
  Speaker 1: a picture of all of us and I was just
• 8:25
  Speaker 1: sitting on the end. I think I got cropped out
• 8:27
  Speaker 1: of a lot of a lot of those tabloid photos
• 8:30
  Speaker 1: because it was Valentine's Look at all these happy couples
• 8:33
  Speaker 1: from Bachelor Nation together and then just like single, they
• 8:38
  Speaker 1: just would have had you in the pig. Yeah. Well
• 8:40
  Speaker 1: it also would have been very representational of like who
• 8:42
  Speaker 1: I am. I'm just the single seventh wheel sometimes. But um, yes,
• 8:46
  Speaker 1: I spent a lot of time in Tahoe. I spent
• 8:48
  Speaker 1: a lot of time in San Francisco. Um, I was
• 8:50
  Speaker 1: living in Maui for a while, and now I am back. Well,
• 8:54
  Speaker 1: it's good to have you with us, because it's just
• 8:56
  Speaker 1: been a long time. It's been beat together in val Times.

  Speaker 1: Day was so special because I was with Jess, but
• 9:03
  Speaker 1: I was also well for it was that was a
• 9:06
  Speaker 1: special trip because I was on tour for Batchelorife on stage.

  Speaker 1: Just how long ago that you weren't engaged yet. I
• 9:11
  Speaker 1: wasn't engaged yet. We were on tour um which is
• 9:16
  Speaker 1: just crazy to look back on because so much has
• 9:18
  Speaker 1: changed since the last time we've all been able to
• 9:20
  Speaker 1: sit in the same room. Klin. You're up to a
• 9:22
  Speaker 1: lot these days. Uh, A lot of stuff going on. Um,

  Speaker 1: that's really exciting. You're one of my favorite follows on

  Speaker 1: social media because yes, you are with one of my
• 9:36
  Speaker 1: best friends from the franchise who continues to make me
• 9:39
  Speaker 1: laugh and confused all at the same time. Um. But Klin,

  Speaker 1: a no. That was a cool day. I was like,

  Speaker 1: he was like, oh, we're gonna have fun. He's so funny.

  Speaker 1: We're just we'll have lunch. And I was like, I

  Speaker 1: grew up watching this guy and he was really funny

  Speaker 1: and really subdued, like everything you said was in a whisper.

  Speaker 1: And then we walked out and he had like an

  Speaker 1: old land cruiser. That's when he drove an old Yeah,

  Speaker 1: like a two thousand land cruiser. And my parents have
• 12:19
  Speaker 1: to early two thousand land cruisers that they still drive.

  Speaker 1: And I thought that was the coolest thing. I was like,
• 12:25
  Speaker 1: this guy can do whatever he wants, but he drives
• 12:27
  Speaker 1: an old in cruiser. That is pretty awesome. So years
• 12:29
  Speaker 1: ago he did a spoof of the Bachelor and it
• 12:32
  Speaker 1: was like probably I don't know if it was like
• 12:34
  Speaker 1: two or three. Do you do you know what I'm
• 12:35
  Speaker 1: talking about? Daniel? Oh, I got so funny. So he
• 12:37
  Speaker 1: basically plays the bachelor, you know, and so he calls
• 12:41
  Speaker 1: out where it was like it was on like YouTube
• 12:45
  Speaker 1: or something. Remember they used to have that website where
• 12:48
  Speaker 1: people would do skits, like comedy skits all the time,
• 12:54
  Speaker 1: and it was honestly got if you guys can find it.

  Speaker 1: It is so funny because it's so irreverent and list

  Speaker 1: everything that we all well, Farrell was funny or die yeah,
• 13:03
  Speaker 1: but this was David Spade who did this, and it
• 13:06
  Speaker 1: was so funny how much he made fun of the show.

  Speaker 1: And like I remember watching it and just dying laughing
• 13:10
  Speaker 1: because I'm like, oh my god, that's so fun on
• 13:13
  Speaker 1: like everything that he'd be like, well, I'm probably I
• 13:15
  Speaker 1: should probably send these two girls home tonight, but they're uh,
• 13:18
  Speaker 1: you know, they're crazy, and the producers gonna make me
• 13:19
  Speaker 1: keep them, so you know, I'll do that. I'll do

  Speaker 1: that for another week. And you know it's like he
• 13:23
  Speaker 1: would just say this really irreverent, funny stuff and then
• 13:25
  Speaker 1: for him to end up on the show and everything else,

  Speaker 1: that's pretty As a host, well, a lot of full

  Speaker 1: circle moments, uh, And tonight we are sitting in a

  Speaker 1: up like Jeopardy with quiz questions about the Bachelor. I

  Speaker 1: have a feeling, uh that our team is gonna rock
