- 0:02Speaker 1: the Bootleg keV podcast.
- 0:08Speaker 2: Bootleg Keev Show a special guest here be a superstar beer.
- 0:14Speaker 1: Welcome, Thanks for having me.
- 0:18Speaker 2: I just want to start the interview off because we
- 0:21Speaker 2: just had this hypothetical situation where I was asking my
- 0:25Speaker 2: boy because Millies came in and he has a pretty
- 0:29Speaker 2: strong Boston accent for the most part, right, and can
- 0:35Speaker 2: you kind of like break down to me like, well, one,
- 0:37Speaker 2: you don't have like a crazy Boston accent, but like,
- 0:41Speaker 2: do you have friends that are like women that have
- 0:43Speaker 2: a hard time like finding good men because they sound
- 0:46Speaker 2: like like, oh yeah, fucking Tom fucking Brady, they smoked cigarettes.
- 0:52Speaker 2: Like I just I just to feel like if I
- 0:53Speaker 2: grew up in Boston and a girl talk like, you know,
- 0:57Speaker 2: millies are like slain, you know, I'd yeah, like, oh
- 1:01Speaker 2: my god, come here, honey, go get the fucking com
- 1:04Speaker 2: a little fucking drunk over here. Like I just feel
- 1:07Speaker 2: like it'd be like a turnoffs, Like do you have
- 1:08Speaker 2: friends that run into that.
- 1:09Speaker 1: I don't have any friends that talk like that, but
- 1:11Speaker 1: it's just like some of my friends moms okay, or
- 1:14Speaker 1: like God bless their husbands. Maybe even sometimes my mom
- 1:17Speaker 1: sounds like that's it's like an older like I feel like,
- 1:22Speaker 1: you know, white Boston woman thing.
- 1:24Speaker 2: Yeah, it's like the CA, the Bay, the stop, like fi,
- 1:28Speaker 2: let's go five like that. Yeah. Fucking Tom Brady. I
- 1:33Speaker 2: love him. He's a buck, but I fucking love him still.
- 1:35Speaker 1: I love it. It's his own thing.
- 1:36Speaker 2: Yeah, for sure. Do you still do you find yourself
- 1:39Speaker 2: still rooting for Tom while he's retired now? But were
- 1:40Speaker 2: you rooting for Tom when he was over in Tampa Bay.
- 1:43Speaker 1: I wouldn't say, like, I wouldn't say like rooting for him,
- 1:48Speaker 1: but like, I definitely think he has like a warm
- 1:52Speaker 1: place and every Bostonian or Massachusetts person's heart. Guys he should, Yeah,
- 1:58Speaker 1: because all he's done for the Patriots.
- 2:00Speaker 2: I think about that scene in Ted too where Ted
- 2:02Speaker 2: like sneaks into his house to steal his com yes,
- 2:04Speaker 2: and I was like, yeah, I'm sure a lot of
- 2:06Speaker 2: people in Boston.
- 2:06Speaker 1: Would have done so weird.
- 2:09Speaker 2: Great movie by the great Boston.
- 2:10Speaker 1: Yeah, Ted is an amazing movie.
- 2:12Speaker 2: They're doing a TV show, have you heard?
- 2:14Speaker 1: No? I didn't hear that, like a whole series, no way. Yeah,
- 2:17Speaker 1: I hope I could be in it, shout out to
- 2:19Speaker 1: Ted and like color me.
- 2:20Speaker 2: Well, I want to say congrats because you have like
- 2:22Speaker 2: turned into like a bona fide superstar.
- 2:24Speaker 1: Oh, thank you so much.
- 2:25Speaker 2: And you've had like a really long journey in this
- 2:27Speaker 2: music industry. You've been through deals where you know, certain
- 2:31Speaker 2: people didn't get it, and you've just kind of just
- 2:34Speaker 2: transformed into like, uh, one of the you know, artists
- 2:39Speaker 2: on the forefront of this rap shit. So congratulations.
- 2:41Speaker 1: I appreciate you a lot. Thank you.
- 2:44Speaker 2: Have you noticed like besides you know, obviously you're doing
- 2:47Speaker 2: a lot of shows, You're doing a lot of festivals.
- 2:48Speaker 2: That's you're doing clubs, You're in Vegas, you got you
- 2:50Speaker 2: have Vegas residency right now.
- 2:51Speaker 1: Yeah, I have. I have one with dres right now.
- 2:55Speaker 1: Before Drace, we did Jewel and Akassan so Tau group.
- 2:59Speaker 2: Nah. But like, have you noticed, like for you, was
- 3:02Speaker 2: there anything that changed in terms of like where you
- 3:06Speaker 2: started to kind of see like things finally really like
- 3:08Speaker 2: work out in a big way. Look were you in
- 3:13Speaker 2: terms of like were you like doing anything differently or
- 3:15Speaker 2: was it just like finally the kind of the stars
- 3:17Speaker 2: like aligned, you know.
- 3:18Speaker 1: I think it's a little bit of both. I think
- 3:20Speaker 1: when every every time you see like an artist have
- 3:23Speaker 1: a moment, I think there's like a wonderful team behind
- 3:26Speaker 1: the scenes, like that's helping them be great. And I
- 3:28Speaker 1: also think that the stars are aligning. And what I've
- 3:33Speaker 1: learned through those moments is just to like be way
- 3:35Speaker 1: more confident with whatever it is I'm doing and just
- 3:38Speaker 1: be sure of it before I press go, because then
- 3:41Speaker 1: it's like it's.
- 3:41Speaker 2: Fool proof for sure, do you Because I feel like
- 3:44Speaker 2: there was like a moment where you had gotten off
- 3:47Speaker 2: of RCA because you were on RCA.
- 3:48Speaker 1: For a while, yeah, like four and a half years.
- 3:50Speaker 2: Maybe, and then the Russ record happened, yes, and then
- 3:54Speaker 2: I feel like after that it was just over.
- 3:57Speaker 1: After that has been kind of busy because we well,
- 3:59Speaker 1: actually it was crazy because the Best on Earth happened
- 4:02Speaker 1: and then the pandemic hit, so we weren't really like
- 4:06Speaker 1: able to work Best on Earth like in the clubs
- 4:09Speaker 1: when it first came out. We didn't even end up
- 4:11Speaker 1: performing it together till a year later, so that changes things.
- 4:15Speaker 1: I think as well. There's a lot of songs that
- 4:18Speaker 1: I think would have hit like in a different way
- 4:20Speaker 1: had we been able to be outside and has had
- 4:22Speaker 1: the stars in the line at that time. But either way,
- 4:24Speaker 1: I'm super grateful for how it all turned out because
- 4:27Speaker 1: I'm just like so blown away, like your plans are
- 4:32Speaker 1: never going to be as good as God's plans for real.
- 4:35Speaker 2: Yeah, I think like I was just like thinking, like, damn,
- 4:37Speaker 2: you got a record with Nikki and a record with
- 4:39Speaker 2: j Cole like to the greatest of all time?
- 4:42Speaker 1: Crazy, right, Yeah, Like do you ever like look.
- 4:44Speaker 2: Back and just think like damn, the last two and
- 4:45Speaker 2: a half years have been like this is kind of surreal,
- 4:48Speaker 2: Like I gotta kind of do you appreciate it?
- 4:50Speaker 1: Yes? Absolutely? Oh my goodness. Like everybody that knows me
- 4:54Speaker 1: knows like I'm heavy on prayer, Like I talked to
- 4:56Speaker 1: God like a million times a day, and I'm just
- 4:59Speaker 1: super grateful. Like I'm one of those people that I
- 5:03Speaker 1: I've seen so many moments like come and go for me,
- 5:07Speaker 1: So now I'm learning to just be like way more
- 5:09Speaker 1: present in those moments and appreciate them for what they
- 5:12Speaker 1: are and not like I seek no expectations when I
- 5:15Speaker 1: put music out. I just be like, all right, I'm
- 5:16Speaker 1: gonna put this out, and whatever happens happens, and it's
- 5:20Speaker 1: always some amazing stuff that happens, and so I'm always
- 5:22Speaker 1: like it shocks me.
- 5:24Speaker 2: Right, tell me the story on how because you've told
- 5:27Speaker 2: it before. But like, the London record is one of
- 5:29Speaker 2: my favorite joints you put out. You did a great
- 5:32Speaker 2: job on that record, thank you. Yeah, it was. I've
- 5:35Speaker 2: played the funk at it on the radio. But how
- 5:38Speaker 2: does Cold end up on that particular song where you're
- 5:40Speaker 2: doing the whole London thing.
- 5:41Speaker 1: It's crazy because we went to the studio to go
- 5:45Speaker 1: meet Cole for a whole completely different song, and before
- 5:49Speaker 1: we were on our way out, I was like, hey,
- 5:51Speaker 1: can I play you something? Like, you know, I'm working
- 5:53Speaker 1: on my project. I want to play this song. And
- 5:54Speaker 1: he's like, yeah, go ahead, press play. And he loved
- 5:57Speaker 1: the song. He's like, I love the song. This is good.
- 5:59Speaker 1: Like I was like, okay, you know what that's like.
- 6:03Speaker 1: He just seemed like he really liked the song, and
- 6:06Speaker 1: I wanted to send it to him like some random day.
- 6:08Speaker 1: So like two weeks later, I think a month later,
- 6:10Speaker 1: I said it to him and I was like, Hey,
- 6:12Speaker 1: just send you this if you want to listen to it, if.
- 6:14Speaker 3: You want to check it out, since you said you
- 6:15Speaker 3: liked it in your car at the gym, like whatever
- 6:19Speaker 3: you want, and yeah, it just ended up working out
- 6:22Speaker 3: like that, Like he ended up liking the song enough
- 6:24Speaker 3: that he wanted to put a verse on it, and
- 6:26Speaker 3: I was so happy about that because.
- 6:29Speaker 1: Like, look at that verse. It's like one of my
- 6:31Speaker 1: favorite verses of all time.
- 6:32Speaker 2: Oh he killed it. He got off on how.
- 6:34Speaker 1: Can I just have seen this one and that one
- 6:35Speaker 1: and I can have both?
- 6:36Speaker 2: Oh my god, he got all. He did not give
- 6:38Speaker 2: you the throw away coverse. I know what he has
- 6:40Speaker 2: by the way. I feel like every time he gets
- 6:41Speaker 2: on some shit he bodies it.
- 6:43Speaker 1: He does, and I honestly wanted to. I was like, yo,
- 6:46Speaker 1: I'm gonna go because when I first cut the record London,
- 6:49Speaker 1: it was like a vibee fun record Like Me and Disease,
- 6:52Speaker 1: we just have fun, Like if you know us, we
- 6:54Speaker 1: go to the studio and we just try to have
- 6:56Speaker 1: a good time. So we weren't, oh, we don't really
- 6:58Speaker 1: try to overthink anything or try to make a hit
- 7:01Speaker 1: or try to make a certain type of record. We
- 7:03Speaker 1: just catch a vibe. So I wasn't overthinking or like
- 7:06Speaker 1: pushing my pen to the to the bars, like expecting
- 7:10Speaker 1: to get Jake Cole on that song. So when he
- 7:11Speaker 1: put his verse on it, I'm like, I'm gonna go
- 7:13Speaker 1: redo my verse. They're like He's like no, no, no,
- 7:15Speaker 1: they wouldn't. They told me not to. They would.
- 7:18Speaker 2: Yeah, that's kind of like ating.
- 7:19Speaker 1: But like I was like, bro, who thinks when they
- 7:23Speaker 1: cut like a random reference that Cole is going to
- 7:25Speaker 1: be on that song? Yeah? Crazy.
- 7:27Speaker 2: I think that's against like unset rap roles too. If
- 7:30Speaker 2: you send a record in with your verse and then
- 7:32Speaker 2: it comes out and your verse is way.
- 7:34Speaker 1: Different, it's fine.
- 7:36Speaker 2: I think that. I think that might have been the
- 7:37Speaker 2: root of the whole like cannabis ll thing back.
- 7:39Speaker 1: But I didn't do it because I didn't want to
- 7:42Speaker 1: change the essence and the energy because you know, some
- 7:44Speaker 1: songs they got that a certain like energy to him.
- 7:48Speaker 2: Did like anybody in London like feel like you were
- 7:50Speaker 2: appropriating their accent.
- 7:52Speaker 1: I mean, nobody said that to me.
- 7:54Speaker 2: But I just wonder because everyone's so sensitive these days,
- 7:56Speaker 2: and like you know, I was shout to England, the colonizers,
- 7:58Speaker 2: of all colonizers, I just wonder if they had like yo, yo,
- 8:02Speaker 2: what like you're taking our you know?
- 8:04Speaker 1: I mean, I got so much love in London such
- 8:06Speaker 1: a great record. Like I love London so much, and
- 8:08Speaker 1: it became like my second, like I want to say,
- 8:10Speaker 1: like my second or third home, because I was traveling
- 8:13Speaker 1: in London so often around that time. So when we
- 8:16Speaker 1: when it came time that I did London, I was
- 8:17Speaker 1: just so inspired by the culture. Yeah, so I was
- 8:20Speaker 1: just like, how can I put this culture in the
- 8:22Speaker 1: song without trying to like piss anybody off, but still
- 8:26Speaker 1: make it my own.
- 8:27Speaker 2: You've worked with Pharrell and you have the new record
- 8:31Speaker 2: where you're working with Timbaland and shout out to Timberland, who, Yes,
- 8:35Speaker 2: in my opinion, he's my personal He's not my favorite,
- 8:40Speaker 2: but he's to me the go because I think his
- 8:41Speaker 2: range is so crazy. But what was it like, what's
- 8:43Speaker 2: the difference between working with Pharrell and Timberland, who are
- 8:46Speaker 2: on the mount rushmore of the producer game.
- 8:49Speaker 1: You know, they're completely different people. They're completely they have
- 8:52Speaker 1: completely different like styles and approaches. I'd say, like, I
- 8:56Speaker 1: mean they both The one thing I do say is
- 8:59Speaker 1: like similar when it comes to like great great great
- 9:02Speaker 1: producers is they're very much like into the vibe, like whatever,
- 9:06Speaker 1: there's like an energy, you know what I'm saying the
- 9:08Speaker 1: vibe has to be good for like, the vibe has
- 9:10Speaker 1: to be right. So I'm just so grateful that I've
- 9:14Speaker 1: worked with both of them, because they're so different. I
- 9:16Speaker 1: can't say, like, really, what what.
- 9:19Speaker 2: About the process? Are you like either of those guys?
- 9:22Speaker 2: Have you cooked up from scratch with them or they
- 9:24Speaker 2: just playing you like a folder?
- 9:25Speaker 1: Yes, we cooked it from scratch many times. Yet nice. Well,
- 9:31Speaker 1: that weekend that I worked with Timberland, it was the
- 9:33Speaker 1: weekend of Art Bazo, we cooked up from scratch. And
- 9:37Speaker 1: then there's been many times I've cooked up from scratch of.
- 9:39Speaker 2: Well, nice, how was our basil?
- 9:42Speaker 1: Our pazel was vibes? I like Art Bazzel. You'm not
- 9:46Speaker 1: really that like to too into our I don't know
- 9:48Speaker 1: enough about it, but I appreciate it.
- 9:51Speaker 2: Yeah, I guess that's fair. I feel like I'm the
- 9:52Speaker 2: same way. I appreciate it. I A'm buying it, but
- 9:55Speaker 2: I appreciate it. I'll buy like a you know, a
- 9:57Speaker 2: print of it. Yeah, you know, no, I'll buy it
- 10:00Speaker 2: like that, like that's art, like a dude redid the
- 10:03Speaker 2: WrestleMania thirteen posters? So I bought it, you know, and
- 10:05Speaker 2: I appreciated it.
- 10:06Speaker 1: Or like if there's a what about if there's an
- 10:08Speaker 1: artist that you that you're like, oh, I like your
- 10:10Speaker 1: work also, I'll buy it and support and like grab
- 10:12Speaker 1: a piece.
- 10:13Speaker 2: Sure if I know the artists, Yeah, I don't know
- 10:16Speaker 2: any of those people.
- 10:16Speaker 1: Yeah, so all the artists need to hit you on
- 10:20Speaker 1: our Instagram and show you.
- 10:21Speaker 2: Know where I get though. It's got to be fly,
- 10:22Speaker 2: you know, it's got to be it's some good art. Oh,
- 10:24Speaker 2: for sure. Some of the show I don't get though.
- 10:26Speaker 2: It was like teach his own.
- 10:28Speaker 1: Like the plaint spatter is not your stuff?
- 10:30Speaker 2: Nah, I don't get it. So you go to Miami
- 10:32Speaker 2: for artbassele, you end up any strip clubs at all? Like,
- 10:34Speaker 2: do you do ale out there?
- 10:35Speaker 1: I love eleven? I Yeah, I love eleven. They're like
- 10:40Speaker 1: they're like really good friends.
- 10:42Speaker 2: I feel like you've been you've been booked there before, right.
- 10:44Speaker 1: Yeah, I've been booked at eleven quite a few times.
- 10:47Speaker 1: I love eleven so much. It's like my happy place.
- 10:50Speaker 2: I think it is quite possibly the best club in
- 10:53Speaker 2: the world. It's like top five, top three, top two,
- 10:56Speaker 2: maybe one. I'd say that because it's like you get
- 10:59Speaker 2: the best of it. It's like a Vegas club with chicks.
- 11:01Speaker 1: Exactly, and it's twenty four hours. Yeah, like you got
- 11:05Speaker 1: to be like a man I'm a maniac.
- 11:07Speaker 2: So what's the latest or the earliest in the morning
- 11:09Speaker 2: You've walked out of a club.
- 11:11Speaker 1: The next day like two pm? Jesus, Yeah, eleven.
- 11:17Speaker 2: How many hours were wait? Wait how many hours were
- 11:19Speaker 2: you there?
- 11:20Speaker 1: Probably ten eleven hours?
- 11:26Speaker 2: What are you doing inside of eleven for that long?
- 11:28Speaker 2: Is there? I mean, are you I mean obviously throwing
- 11:31Speaker 2: money or drinking, raging? Raging?
- 11:33Speaker 1: Yeah, raging, of course, that's a lot. Dancing, raging, drinking, dancing, rage.
- 11:40Speaker 2: I've walked out of the booby trap at around nine am. Yeah,
- 11:44Speaker 2: but that's like, to me, that's manageable in Miami, like
- 11:46Speaker 2: two pms. That's a lot. That's super degenerate. Y.
- 11:49Speaker 1: I think we weren't there at like eight am.
- 11:52Speaker 2: Okay, that's fair.
- 11:53Speaker 1: So you're like seven am from I don't know if you.
- 11:54Speaker 2: Were, like yo, I performed at two thirty and I
- 11:57Speaker 2: stayed until the whole twelve hour ship that bitch.
- 12:00Speaker 1: No no, no, I didn't perform and stay. It was
- 12:03Speaker 1: like we were outside and then we went to eleven
- 12:05Speaker 1: for breakfast.
- 12:06Speaker 2: Ah, what is they got breakfast like almonds and jam.
- 12:09Speaker 1: Yeah, they got like I think it's chicken and waffles.
- 12:12Speaker 1: That's in the morning, if you're going, if you go
- 12:14Speaker 1: in the morning, because they're twenty four hours. So we
- 12:17Speaker 1: had been out all night and then we went to
- 12:19Speaker 1: eleven and I think we love it, Like two pm.
- 12:23Speaker 2: Is it nice to have the Barbs in your corner?
- 12:27Speaker 2: I feel like the Barbs fuck with you and that's
- 12:29Speaker 2: a good place to be in and just in the world.
- 12:31Speaker 1: Yeah, they've They've shown me so much love and so
- 12:34Speaker 1: much support. Like the Barbes are like like who needs uh?
- 12:40Speaker 1: Like for Niki, it's like she doesn't even need a label,
- 12:43Speaker 1: like shes are their own arms.
- 12:46Speaker 2: Like she just read the last night because she didn't
- 12:48Speaker 2: go to met Gallon. She was like number one on
- 12:50Speaker 2: trending legend. It's crazy because the Barbs came to my
- 12:53Speaker 2: defense because I said something about, uh, I love Little Kim,
- 12:57Speaker 2: but I said something that little Kim's whatever they're called,
- 13:00Speaker 2: they're her barbs, and they came at me crazy for
- 13:02Speaker 2: like two days and then the Barbs have my back.
- 13:05Speaker 2: They're crazy. It sounds like a real army. What is
- 13:07Speaker 2: do you have a fan based name?
- 13:10Speaker 1: It's crazy. I've teetled and toddled with a couple of names,
- 13:14Speaker 1: but I think I'm gonna probably just find one that
- 13:17Speaker 1: comes naturally, like yeah, m hmm.
- 13:20Speaker 2: Yeah. Have you seen Swarm on Amazon Prime? Yes?
- 13:22Speaker 1: I did. It's really really crazy.
- 13:25Speaker 2: And it's also kind of like scary like that it's
- 13:27Speaker 2: kind of like not too far from reality, like and.
- 13:31Speaker 1: It's it's a little crazy because you don't really see
- 13:35Speaker 1: women serial killers. M hm.
- 13:38Speaker 2: So that was there was that one movie, uh Monster
- 13:42Speaker 2: with Shirley's Starron Did you ever watch that? She was
- 13:43Speaker 2: a serial killer. She was like a prostitute. She used
- 13:45Speaker 2: to kill truckers. Yeah, it was a good movie. I'm
- 13:49Speaker 2: gonna she's like really beautiful girl.
- 13:52Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 13:52Speaker 2: She she like took on a role as like this
- 13:54Speaker 2: like white trash like trucker lady who was like a
- 13:58Speaker 2: lot lizard. Do you know what a lot lizard is?
- 13:59Speaker 1: I don't. I don't know what a lot lizard is.
- 14:02Speaker 2: So it's a lot lizard. If you're a truck driver.
- 14:06Speaker 2: They have truck stops and it's girls who offer lonely
- 14:10Speaker 2: men who are in trucks at truck stops in the
- 14:12Speaker 2: middle of nowhere.
- 14:13Speaker 1: Certain services so why they call them lizards?
- 14:16Speaker 2: That's just what they call them. They call them a
- 14:18Speaker 2: lot lizard.
- 14:18Speaker 1: That is gross.
- 14:20Speaker 2: It is gross.
- 14:21Speaker 1: Well it's a dirty name, like.
- 14:23Speaker 2: I don't I don't disagree. It's a dirty name for
- 14:26Speaker 2: a dirty job. Yo. On this record, you drop sixteen,
- 14:30Speaker 2: which I think is dope because you're getting your shit
- 14:32Speaker 2: off on that.
- 14:33Speaker 1: Oh thanks, give me some yo.
- 14:34Speaker 2: What so what job did you get fired from? Oh?
- 14:38Speaker 1: Man, I had like a job at a like when
- 14:41Speaker 1: I was, I had tons of jobs. I had every
- 14:43Speaker 1: single job like grocery store, bar attending, waitressing, but it
- 14:48Speaker 1: was like a bartending job. I didn't. Oh yeah, it
- 14:51Speaker 1: was a bartending job and themselves and foot locker too,
- 14:54Speaker 1: foot locker. Yeah, but I had I have a great
- 14:56Speaker 1: relationship with full locker, like I was like employee of
- 14:59Speaker 1: the year. Really No, no, no, not really. But could
- 15:03Speaker 1: you were you like top tier assistant?
- 15:05Speaker 2: Were you back door in any of the shoes?
- 15:07Speaker 1: No? I had keys and everything. I was super responsible,
- 15:09Speaker 1: like good employee. I was that girl.
- 15:12Speaker 2: Yeah, so you weren't like if the pair Jordan's came in.
- 15:14Speaker 1: I wasn't stealing.
- 15:16Speaker 2: No, no, no, I'm not saying stealing. You might set up
- 15:18Speaker 2: a paraside for your for the homie like, yeah, I.
- 15:21Speaker 1: Did that a few times. Yeah, yeah, I used to
- 15:23Speaker 1: do that for my friends.
- 15:25Speaker 2: What was the last real job you had? Was it
- 15:26Speaker 2: the bar to anything?
- 15:27Speaker 1: Yeah?
- 15:29Speaker 2: And you just like did you literally tell them fuck
- 15:31Speaker 2: you when you when you got fired?
- 15:33Speaker 1: No? I didn't actually, not that one one of them. Yeah,
- 15:39Speaker 1: but not not the last one.
- 15:41Speaker 2: So you could make a drink like you could make
- 15:42Speaker 2: like yeah, imb.
- 15:44Speaker 1: I'm actually like I can make it. I'm really a chef?
- 15:47Speaker 2: Can you cook everything?
- 15:48Speaker 1: Literally everything?
- 15:49Speaker 2: When you say you're really a chef? What does that mean?
- 15:52Speaker 2: Like the same do you have like a certificate that says,
- 15:55Speaker 2: so are you just I'm a hood chef? You're a
- 15:58Speaker 2: hood chef? Okay? Yes, So what's like the go to
- 16:01Speaker 2: if I had to be like, Okay, Shelby, like what
- 16:02Speaker 2: is your what are you gonna make there? You're very
- 16:04Speaker 2: confident in, well, what do you like? I'm I'm into everything.
- 16:10Speaker 2: I'm a fat fuck as we discussed, because.
- 16:13Speaker 1: Like I got I got some famous dishes of mine,
- 16:16Speaker 1: Like if you.
- 16:16Speaker 2: Had to cook a dish for uh, give me the
- 16:19Speaker 2: Gordon Ramsey dish. He's sitting there all right, like I'm
- 16:22Speaker 2: gonna cook you, so.
- 16:22Speaker 1: I would make it. I would make a medley of things, okay,
- 16:25Speaker 1: because I feel as though if I have a med ley,
- 16:28Speaker 1: I can't lose. If you don't like one thing, he's
- 16:29Speaker 1: gonna like another thing. So I would do these lamb
- 16:33Speaker 1: chops that I do, these garlic charred mint lamb chops.
- 16:37Speaker 1: Then they very like taste level, like very very high,
- 16:43Speaker 1: like it's not even regular at all. And then I
- 16:46Speaker 1: would do a Chilean sea bass, and then I would
- 16:50Speaker 1: do on another day, if you come, I would do
- 16:53Speaker 1: coconut curry chicken and white rice. Jesus, that's a famous
- 16:56Speaker 1: meal of mine. The people go crazy for you see,
- 16:58Speaker 1: he's not people go the people go absolutely insane. And
- 17:02Speaker 1: last but not least, Lasagna rolls talking about it.
- 17:06Speaker 2: That sounds fire.
- 17:08Speaker 1: Yeah, their little roles.
- 17:10Speaker 2: Yo. The best Italian food I ever had was in
- 17:13Speaker 2: Boston and Little Italy and there's like those little bakeries
- 17:15Speaker 2: that stay open all night. Yeah, oh my.
- 17:17Speaker 1: God, Cano's Oh my goodness, I missed Canoli.
- 17:20Speaker 2: I be got out the fucking club from DJ and
- 17:21Speaker 2: shit Face and there was a fucking bakery open at
- 17:24Speaker 2: three in the morning, Like, what the fuck?

- 20:14Speaker 2: All these guys they're doing like a ghost kitchens. Right, Yes,
- 20:18Speaker 2: so you could do like be as bites.
- 20:20Speaker 1: Ooh, you come on with the ideas and then.
- 20:23Speaker 2: You could just license it to a ghost kitchen and
- 20:26Speaker 2: come up with their own menu and then give them
- 20:28Speaker 2: the recipes and then you know, people all over the
- 20:30Speaker 2: world can.
- 20:31Speaker 1: Just but they will have them. They'll have my recipes.
- 20:34Speaker 2: I mean it could be like a water down version
- 20:36Speaker 2: of the recipe. Like I feel like a lasagna roll
- 20:39Speaker 2: would be like like, let me get six of those,
- 20:41Speaker 2: like in a little box.
- 20:43Speaker 1: Yeah, it's like that.
- 20:44Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah you should do that.
- 20:47Speaker 1: You know what, Next time I come I might bring
- 20:49Speaker 1: in lasagnae rules.
- 20:50Speaker 2: That would be amazing.
- 20:51Speaker 1: Yeah, next time I come here, I'll bring Lasania rules.
- 20:53Speaker 2: I'll break my diet for that. Okay, I'm on a
- 20:56Speaker 2: keto diet.
- 20:57Speaker 1: Just because I like to brag about how good it
- 20:59Speaker 1: is and then people then you can then you can
- 21:01Speaker 1: vouch for me, so I don't have to do the
- 21:03Speaker 1: talking next time, and you'd be like, you know, it's
- 21:04Speaker 1: a really good chef, be it.
- 21:07Speaker 2: How's the album coming along?
- 21:09Speaker 1: It's actually like, uh, mixing, mastering finished, so it's done.
- 21:13Speaker 2: Like you're not turning anything.
- 21:14Speaker 1: New in Yeah, no, no, no, Well I can't say that
- 21:17Speaker 1: because if when verses come through last minute.
- 21:20Speaker 2: Yeah, if you get a crazy verse at the end
- 21:22Speaker 2: of the finish line.
- 21:23Speaker 1: Put it on. In terms of your parts, my part
- 21:25Speaker 1: is done. My part is done when you put out well,
- 21:28Speaker 1: my part is never all the way done. I might
- 21:30Speaker 1: seek inspiration tomorrow and just add one in there for
- 21:34Speaker 1: a surprise.
- 21:35Speaker 2: So Wednesday, I'm dropping, you're here, so you're obviously working.
- 21:37Speaker 1: I mean, it's oh yeah, it's it's. It's so it's
- 21:40Speaker 1: pretty much sealed up.
- 21:42Speaker 2: Have you let the name fly yet?
- 21:44Speaker 1: No, but I'm it's I'm so happy about the name.
- 21:47Speaker 2: Are you?
- 21:48Speaker 1: I can't tell you yet?
- 21:49Speaker 2: But is the artwork done?
- 21:52Speaker 1: Yes? Yes?
- 21:55Speaker 2: For you? Like, do you feel like because you've put
- 21:57Speaker 2: out some big singles when you dropped the album and
- 22:01Speaker 2: you had like a song like London or Basito with
- 22:03Speaker 2: with ge Herbo, are those like bonus tracks? Are you
- 22:06Speaker 2: working those into the track listening of the album? Those,
- 22:11Speaker 2: I feel like you put them at the end so
- 22:13Speaker 2: they count towards the whole thing, dude, But you gotta
- 22:14Speaker 2: pull the French Montana.
- 22:15Speaker 1: It depends that Besita was not on.
- 22:18Speaker 2: This album, so it's not gonna be on like at
- 22:20Speaker 2: the end as.
- 22:21Speaker 1: A No, Basita was one.
- 22:24Speaker 2: It was on the deluxe.
- 22:25Speaker 1: Okay, yeah, so London will be on this one maybe
- 22:29Speaker 1: well yet for sure it will be on this.
- 22:31Speaker 2: With it is Yeah, you gotta put it on there.
- 22:34Speaker 1: No, it is. London will be on this one, but
- 22:36Speaker 1: that's probably like the only record and well London and
- 22:39Speaker 1: I'm that bitch.
- 22:40Speaker 2: Is there any features you can reveal?
- 22:45Speaker 1: No? None, only because I just like surprises, some surprises. Yeah,
- 22:50Speaker 1: Like I like to just like let it, let it
- 22:53Speaker 1: come out.
- 22:54Speaker 2: How big of a surprise.
- 22:56Speaker 1: I like big surprises, you know.
- 22:57Speaker 2: Me, like a stadium surprise or like a House of
- 23:00Speaker 2: Blues across there.
- 23:01Speaker 1: Be way I like a big surprise. I like a
- 23:04Speaker 1: little razzle dazzle every now and then.
- 23:06Speaker 2: Any Boston features not on.
- 23:09Speaker 1: This one, but me and Millies would definitely do a song.
- 23:12Speaker 1: We've been trying to find the time. His schedule in
- 23:15Speaker 1: my schedule is like crazy.
- 23:18Speaker 2: Millies is Uh. He's having a moment right now.
- 23:20Speaker 1: He's incredible. Like, I'm so happy for him.
- 23:23Speaker 2: I met him in a south By Southwest in like
- 23:26Speaker 2: twenty thirteen at the hotel lobby. He came up to
- 23:29Speaker 2: me and was like, I watched a shit on two
- 23:30Speaker 2: Dope Boys, and now right now that's what's up. And
- 23:32Speaker 2: then again a long journey.
- 23:35Speaker 1: Yeah, I'm so happy to see like everybody like around
- 23:39Speaker 1: the world really catch on him too, because he's really
- 23:42Speaker 1: so genuine and just so good at what he does.
- 23:46Speaker 1: It's like people need to know about him.
- 23:49Speaker 2: Who would you put on the Boston hip or let's
- 23:51Speaker 2: just say Massachusetts, because if Jodan Lucas is not from Boston,
- 23:54Speaker 2: who's on the Mount Rushmore? Of if you had to
- 23:57Speaker 2: exclude yourself because you're up there, but Massachusetts as a.
- 24:03Speaker 1: State, Massachusetts, I would go like legends to like, I'll
- 24:07Speaker 1: put Guru. Of course, I would do, like a.
- 24:10Speaker 2: Lot of people don't know Gurus from Boston and Primo
- 24:14Speaker 2: from Texas.
- 24:17Speaker 1: That's a hard one. Man.
- 24:21Speaker 2: Would you let Benzino sniff it? Just take a sniff?
- 24:23Speaker 1: Sniff?
- 24:24Speaker 2: What the Mount Rushmore of Boston or Massachusetts hip hop?
- 24:27Speaker 2: Would let him? At least? Would you at least like
- 24:30Speaker 2: invite him to the.
- 24:32Speaker 1: You gotta wear your question. That's crazy, that sounds crazy.
- 24:38Speaker 1: Sniff it is crazy.
- 24:40Speaker 2: I mean, like, would you let him sniff the this?
- 24:41Speaker 2: Would you like consider him? I mean the source was
- 24:45Speaker 2: big you know, man, Yeah, you know the source. It's
- 24:49Speaker 2: almighty R s O.
- 24:50Speaker 1: You know. Yeah, no, like for sure, Like, yeah, Benzino,
- 24:55Speaker 1: he's definitely important to the culture.
- 24:57Speaker 2: He's important. Yeah, absolutely, you're on there. Guru's on there.
- 25:03Speaker 2: I don't I don't like this guy, Johanner Lucas is
- 25:05Speaker 2: on there.
- 25:05Speaker 1: Yeah, for sure, I'll let you. I'll let you pick
- 25:07Speaker 1: the rush more and I'll just say give you thumbs.
- 25:10Speaker 2: Can we go non rappers? Yeah?
- 25:12Speaker 1: Please? Static selected static selected number number one. Okay, terminology.
- 25:18Speaker 2: Terminology is up there. Yeah, like shout out the term
- 25:21Speaker 2: man one of my forgetting.
- 25:24Speaker 1: I don't know. It's like, I'm so I gotta like
- 25:29Speaker 1: tap more back into the Boston scene because there's a
- 25:31Speaker 1: lot of from there.
- 25:32Speaker 2: Who was Michael Christmas? I know way too much about
- 25:36Speaker 2: what's the what's the guy's name who's named after beer?
- 25:41Speaker 2: Is it Samuel Adams from there? Sammy Adams? She had
- 25:44Speaker 2: never got into his yet. I missed that whole ship,
- 25:47Speaker 2: but shout out to him. But you're up there? Yeah,
- 25:51Speaker 2: are we considering Cooy from Boston? Is she from Boston?
- 25:54Speaker 1: She has roots for sure. Yeah, she's from She's kind
- 25:56Speaker 1: of like Boston and Jersey.
- 25:59Speaker 2: Have you and her get to link up and connect.
- 26:01Speaker 1: And yeah, we're real cool like outside of music too.
- 26:04Speaker 2: Yeah. She seems like a great energy.
- 26:07Speaker 1: Yeah, I love her. She's super genuine and like, I'm
- 26:09Speaker 1: super happy for her as well.
- 26:11Speaker 2: How cool was it getting on the NICKI remix that
- 26:13Speaker 2: just dropped? Because it seemed like she you know, when
- 26:16Speaker 2: she chooses an all queen lineup of artists to hop
- 26:20Speaker 2: on a remix, that's got to be a dope honor
- 26:22Speaker 2: to be included in that.
- 26:23Speaker 1: Absolutely, yeah, she any, I'm so just inspired by like Nicki, Rihanna,
- 26:30Speaker 1: so many women that I've I've had the chance to
- 26:33Speaker 1: cross paths with that really inspire me, have shown me
- 26:36Speaker 1: so much love. So it's made me in turn be like, Okay,
- 26:40Speaker 1: I want to do that for the other women that
- 26:43Speaker 1: are like coming up to other the younger girls, just
- 26:45Speaker 1: because that I've only received that, you know, like it
- 26:48Speaker 1: gets weird sometimes like music industry stuff and girls, but
- 26:52Speaker 1: it's really just like I feel like, just support what
- 26:55Speaker 1: you genuinely like and then like I feel like that
- 26:58Speaker 1: comes back.
- 26:58Speaker 2: Well, I think you've done a really good job of
- 27:00Speaker 2: like just I don't ever see your name like wrapped
- 27:03Speaker 2: up in any of the like unnecessary drama. Sometimes I
- 27:06Speaker 2: feel other artists, I just like, what's going on? Why
- 27:08Speaker 2: is it like these people have no reason to have
- 27:09Speaker 2: problems with each other? Like it just doesn't make sense.
- 27:11Speaker 2: So it's good to see like you're I feel like
- 27:13Speaker 2: you you're kind of also like very mature, like you're
- 27:15Speaker 2: like you're like a young og, you know what I mean,
- 27:17Speaker 2: Like you've you've seen this game from a lot of
- 27:20Speaker 2: different area.
- 27:21Speaker 1: With me, I'm more like if it's really like if
- 27:23Speaker 1: you if it's really like some type of pressure you
- 27:26Speaker 1: you have to address me like for real or you
- 27:29Speaker 1: have to like address me in real life, like people
- 27:32Speaker 1: see me outside. I'm outside everywhere. I'm everywhere. I'm at
- 27:35Speaker 1: every festival, I'm at every show. So I don't really
- 27:37Speaker 1: feel that energy from anybody, like you know, and I
- 27:39Speaker 1: don't really give that energy like I.
- 27:41Speaker 2: Don't have you don't you give a number of positive energy.
- 27:43Speaker 1: Yeah, I'm so confident, it's so happy with what I'm
- 27:46Speaker 1: doing that I don't have really the time to like
- 27:49Speaker 1: nitpick girls for no reason, right, you know. But yeah,
- 27:53Speaker 1: like I'm a positive person for the most part. Everybody
- 27:55Speaker 1: that knows me knows I just like to have a
- 27:57Speaker 1: good time and spread love.
- 27:58Speaker 2: Is Russ on the album not not right now, but
- 28:03Speaker 2: I'm trying to find a song for him.
- 28:05Speaker 1: We were speaking about that the other day. I'm trying
- 28:07Speaker 1: to find like the perfect song because I love Russ.
- 28:11Speaker 1: He's like one of the most knowledgeable and talented.
- 28:14Speaker 2: People and he's like a like he's like really talent.
- 28:17Speaker 2: I think he told yesterday he was teasing he's gonna
- 28:19Speaker 2: put out like a seventies rock song, and I was like, bro,
- 28:21Speaker 2: I bet it's gonna be fire.
- 28:22Speaker 1: Because he can do every time.
- 28:25Speaker 2: He's a beast. For sure. You've done some huge festivals,
- 28:29Speaker 2: Like I feel like you've done them all at this point,
- 28:31Speaker 2: But like, what was the one festival you did where
- 28:33Speaker 2: you just looked at out the crowd you were like, fuck,
- 28:35Speaker 2: this is fucking.
- 28:36Speaker 1: Crazy, the biggest one ever?
- 28:38Speaker 2: Yeah, or just like maybe a nervous moment or just
- 28:40Speaker 2: like a like something that just sticks out with your biggest.
- 28:43Speaker 1: To this day, the biggest festival I've ever done was
- 28:46Speaker 1: the Telethon and Chile with J Balvin. Wow, it was
- 28:50Speaker 1: seventy five thousand people. It was so many people that
- 28:53Speaker 1: I couldn't even see like physical people. All I could
- 28:58Speaker 1: see was little dots, like little heads, little flashes of lights. Crazy,
- 29:03Speaker 1: But that was the most I've ever seen most people ever.
- 29:06Speaker 1: But but I love just like festival crowds because people
- 29:11Speaker 1: that go to festivals like they're going there to gage. Yes,
- 29:16Speaker 1: So that's my favorite, my favorite energy.
- 29:19Speaker 2: Because there's like and then you go to a nightclub
- 29:20Speaker 2: and it's like there's people in there that are just
- 29:22Speaker 2: like they're holding their bottles standing in the fucking booth
- 29:24Speaker 2: and they're just like looking at you.
- 29:25Speaker 1: Like, don't get me wrong. I love nightclubs too now.
- 29:27Speaker 2: No, they're great.
- 29:28Speaker 1: Like I turned the nightclubs up.
- 29:30Speaker 2: I just opened the nightclubs.
- 29:31Speaker 1: So yes, I come pop in here.
- 29:34Speaker 2: We can book you with Scott Stele.
- 29:35Speaker 1: I love Arizona too. Yeah, it gets wild in Scott Steele.
- 29:39Speaker 2: It does. It does get wild.
- 29:41Speaker 1: You don't know it gets wild. So you go there
- 29:42Speaker 1: and see for yourself.
- 29:43Speaker 2: This is true, This is true for you. Uh what
- 29:46Speaker 2: about going out on tour for your fans, like going
- 29:49Speaker 2: and kind of just touching your direct fan base with
- 29:52Speaker 2: a tour. Is that something that's coming with this album?
- 29:54Speaker 1: Yes? Yes, I'm so glad you asked that, because I've
- 29:56Speaker 1: never been on my own tour.
- 29:58Speaker 2: I didn't say it feels like it hasn't happened because
- 30:00Speaker 2: I'm sure because of the pandemic.
- 30:01Speaker 1: Never and I'm such like an like an older og artist,
- 30:05Speaker 1: and I have gone on my own tour, but I've
- 30:08Speaker 1: always been on tour with like huge acts, So I
- 30:10Speaker 1: feel like it takes up when you go on tour.
- 30:12Speaker 1: It takes some months. Yeah, So like you'll go on
- 30:14Speaker 1: tour and you get off tour, you start recording, you
- 30:16Speaker 1: go on tour again. And I think that that just
- 30:19Speaker 1: helps me anyways, because when it comes time that I
- 30:21Speaker 1: go on tour, there's gonna be like so many more
- 30:23Speaker 1: people for me to.
- 30:24Speaker 2: See and it's like they're there for you.
- 30:27Speaker 1: Yeah, I can't wait to see what my tour looks like,
- 30:30Speaker 1: like with my fans.
- 30:31Speaker 2: They got that show singing album cuts, you got the
- 30:33Speaker 2: merch booming. You know what I'm saying.
- 30:36Speaker 1: I'm excited for that.
- 30:38Speaker 2: So album coming soon, really soon, very soon, very very soon.
- 30:42Speaker 1: Yeah. I don't like to talk about it to be
- 30:44Speaker 1: about it, you know.
- 30:45Speaker 2: So one day we'll just be like, oh, the B
- 30:46Speaker 2: album's coming out in two weeks. Yeah, the new record
- 30:50Speaker 2: is crazy with Timblin Thank you. Is there a new
- 30:54Speaker 2: single coming?
- 30:55Speaker 1: Yeah? You know me, it's always a new single coming. Actually,
- 31:00Speaker 1: now I've been way more consistent because like I've been
- 31:04Speaker 1: learning to find that balance, Like when you doing so
- 31:08Speaker 1: many shows, I feel like this is like new territory
- 31:10Speaker 1: for me, Like I've the past two years have been
- 31:12Speaker 1: the busiest I've ever been in my life. So I've
- 31:14Speaker 1: been trying to balance like you know, new shows, new music,
- 31:19Speaker 1: seeing family, having a social life, all those things is
- 31:22Speaker 1: so hard to do.
- 31:23Speaker 2: I wonder like when, because I've seen artists who will
- 31:26Speaker 2: do all these festivals right and like they're not doing
- 31:30Speaker 2: the shows we just talked about, Like when you do
- 31:32Speaker 2: your own tour, does that ever affect the way you create?
- 31:36Speaker 2: Like have you ever like been like, damn, I got
- 31:37Speaker 2: to make a fucking festival record because I see a
- 31:39Speaker 2: lot of guys doing that shit like and sometimes it
- 31:41Speaker 2: can it can kind of work out in the negative
- 31:42Speaker 2: because I think when you try to do stuff on purpose,
- 31:44Speaker 2: sometimes it comes across that way.
- 31:47Speaker 1: Yeah, you know, well, I do so many festivals and
- 31:49Speaker 1: so many like you like, just shows with high energy.
- 31:54Speaker 1: So a lot of my records when I go to
- 31:55Speaker 1: the studio are high energy records because I'm always picturing
- 31:58Speaker 1: myself performing records on stage. But I do have those
- 32:01Speaker 1: albums cause like Motionless where it's like way on sixteen
- 32:04Speaker 1: that's like way more vulnerable, where like I try to
- 32:08Speaker 1: you know, talk my shit but still still give a vibe.
- 32:13Speaker 1: You know. For me, it's like I like to get
- 32:16Speaker 1: into so many different beats, Like whatever the beat calls
- 32:18Speaker 1: for is what I'm gonna give.
- 32:20Speaker 2: What is uh BIA's go to show to binge watch

- 37:34Speaker 1: I love Love, Love, Godfather Harlem. Shout out to Forest Whitaker, Yes,
- 37:39Speaker 1: and shout out Swiss.
- 37:40Speaker 2: I have yet to see the show. I don't have
- 37:42Speaker 2: I don't know what platform it's on, but whatever it
- 37:44Speaker 2: is on the subscribe so I think it's like on
- 37:47Speaker 2: Epics or something, right, I don't know.
- 37:48Speaker 1: I think I don't know. I have everything Netflix, Prime
- 37:52Speaker 1: and Hulu. But why I love it is because it's
- 37:54Speaker 1: like I usually watch like documentary stuff, like informative things
- 37:58Speaker 1: I like to learn. I love Vice, by the way, Yeahvice,
- 38:01Speaker 1: Vice is a great now.
- 38:02Speaker 2: Back in the day, the Vice would just be ridiculous really,
- 38:05Speaker 2: Like I did Heroin for thirty days straight to see
- 38:07Speaker 2: what happens. Well, you probably became an opiate.
- 38:10Speaker 1: Ag at a Yeah, okay, so I like this.
- 38:15Speaker 3: So so crazy shit like that though for real, Like
- 38:18Speaker 3: I drank nothing but beer for a month.
- 38:21Speaker 2: Yeah I had McDowell. Yeah, lots of ice.
- 38:24Speaker 1: Yeah, so Vice. If I'm not watching Vice, like, I
- 38:26Speaker 1: like god Father Harland because it's like a show like
- 38:29Speaker 1: almost like you know how Power is like a show
- 38:31Speaker 1: and it's like action and the stuff's going down. It's
- 38:34Speaker 1: like that, but it's real, like a lot of the
- 38:36Speaker 1: stuff that's going on in that show. You're like, Wow,
- 38:38Speaker 1: this is really this happening.
- 38:39Speaker 2: Yeah, I heard, Like it kind of dives into like
- 38:41Speaker 2: some of the Malcolm X ship.
- 38:43Speaker 1: It goes into like real heard it's great, so you
- 38:45Speaker 1: kind of see like why things are the way they are,
- 38:48Speaker 1: but it makes it into a show.
- 38:50Speaker 2: You ever watch Yellowstone?
- 38:51Speaker 1: No, but I heard that was so good.
- 38:54Speaker 2: It is good.
- 38:55Speaker 1: I'm gonna watch that one. It is a good show
- 38:57Speaker 1: when I find some Netflix.
- 38:58Speaker 2: It's definitely on Netflix now. It's like on Parent, Paramount plus, Peacock, Peacock,
- 39:03Speaker 2: Kevin Costner.
- 39:04Speaker 1: It's so many TV.
- 39:06Speaker 2: Did you watch a Snowfall?
- 39:10Speaker 1: Oh, don't ask me that you didn't watch it. I
- 39:13Speaker 1: watched and pieces of stuff. I've never watched it.
- 39:15Speaker 2: What about Breaking Bad? Yes? I did? You finished it all?
- 39:18Speaker 1: Not the whole thing with the wire? No, but you
- 39:22Speaker 1: like power? Yes? I love power.
- 39:24Speaker 2: You see you gotta watch the wire the wires like
- 39:27Speaker 2: I love power. I see that like I watched the
- 39:30Speaker 2: first time BMF good. Yeah, shout out to little Meach
- 39:35Speaker 2: you know what I mean? Would you for you like, uh,
- 39:38Speaker 2: if you could, if you could ever get into like acting,
- 39:43Speaker 2: being an actress? Like, would you ever try to do that.
- 39:45Speaker 1: Yeah, is that?
- 39:46Speaker 2: I mean, I feel like you should do it.
- 39:49Speaker 1: I feel like I have a role that that it's
- 39:53Speaker 1: kind of like me. So it doesn't feel like I'm
- 39:56Speaker 1: acting because when I go on like acting auditions.
- 39:59Speaker 2: You've done that.
- 40:00Speaker 1: Yeah, I'm so bad. Well I'm not so bad, but
- 40:03Speaker 1: I mean maybe I just need some practice.
- 40:05Speaker 2: You gotta go to a coach, but I gotta go.
- 40:06Speaker 1: I gotta get the roles that are like good for me.
- 40:09Speaker 2: Yeah, you know you want to get type casted at first, Like.
- 40:12Speaker 1: I don't want to go and do a role that's like, oh,
- 40:15Speaker 1: what is she? She's trying to be that role.
- 40:17Speaker 2: Listen, when ice Cube fst started acting, they just casted
- 40:19Speaker 2: him as ice Cube.
- 40:20Speaker 1: That's what I need.
- 40:21Speaker 2: I need to be casting ice Cube is and boys
- 40:23Speaker 2: in the Hood just playing himself really and you could
- 40:25Speaker 2: just you know, play yourself. See if a little Dicky
- 40:28Speaker 2: You'll put you an episode of Dave next season.
- 40:30Speaker 1: That's a good idea as be a see you can
- 40:33Speaker 1: do that.
- 40:33Speaker 2: Have you ever watched Dave?
- 40:35Speaker 1: A little Dickie?
- 40:36Speaker 2: Dave's good? Have you seen it? It's really funny. You
- 40:39Speaker 2: don't watch a lot of TV. I said, Godfather of Harlem.
- 40:42Speaker 1: I only watched that like power informative stuff.
- 40:46Speaker 2: What about what about movies? What's your like favorite movie? Ever?
- 40:52Speaker 2: Give me like two or three because I'm sure there's
- 40:54Speaker 2: a few coming to her.
- 40:55Speaker 1: Oh no, I'm so bad with movies.
- 40:57Speaker 2: You don't watch movies.
- 40:58Speaker 1: No, jesus, I'm like a creative.
- 41:01Speaker 2: You're just making making smashes and cooking. Lot up.
- 41:04Speaker 1: I'm like doing nails and like you do your own nails? Yeah,
- 41:08Speaker 1: like hanging out with my friend.
- 41:09Speaker 2: You did this yourself.
- 41:10Speaker 1: So I did a few of them. This this talented
- 41:13Speaker 1: girl did the other ones.
- 41:14Speaker 2: Do we see the nails? Just show them, show the nails. No,
- 41:16Speaker 2: you gotta hold on.
- 41:17Speaker 1: So what happened was she made me this set originally
- 41:20Speaker 1: lately I've been a little too busy to do my nails,
- 41:22Speaker 1: and I broke like three of them, so I had
- 41:24Speaker 1: to redo them on my own.
- 41:26Speaker 2: Wow, So have you always done your own nails? Like?
- 41:29Speaker 2: Is that something you do? Like a skill you picked up?
- 41:30Speaker 1: It picked it up in the pandemic. M yep, I
- 41:34Speaker 1: have a beauty beauty Google.
- 41:35Speaker 2: Now, so you could cook, you could do your own nails.

- 42:59Speaker 2: gave him, you know, gave him forty five. It's rough.
- 43:05Speaker 1: It's like, how could you doubt them? Look at that,
- 43:07Speaker 1: Look at what they do. They come through. So it's like,
- 43:10Speaker 1: just just relax, Just.
- 43:13Speaker 2: Relax because Tatum, your favorite Celtic.
- 43:15Speaker 1: Jayalen is probably one of my favorite Celtics is a
- 43:19Speaker 1: really good friend.
- 43:20Speaker 2: Is amazing. I heard his dad is like Megan the
- 43:22Speaker 2: Staanian's bodyguard or some shit.
- 43:25Speaker 1: Oh, I don't know that.
- 43:26Speaker 2: I think that's true. I think Jason, I think I
- 43:28Speaker 2: think his dad's Megan this Stanian's bodyguard.
- 43:30Speaker 1: We wouldn't know that, you know what's crazy? Like I'm
- 43:33Speaker 1: gonna ask him that because I don't know how I
- 43:35Speaker 1: wouldn't know that.
- 43:36Speaker 2: Like be like, hey, does your dad do something with
