**UPDATE** Powerful SILVER RALLY Ahead! - (Fireworks for GOLD and Silver) · SILVER / GOLD / $UFD: Surviving Global Economic Shifts | RONS BASEMENT

• 0:02
Absolute crazy behavior right now with the silver price.
• 0:06
With the gold price up $25 for gold down a dollar, back up 26
• 0:13
dollars. I think right now maybe it's up
• 0:15
$18.00. Is this a precursor for things
• 0:18
to come? Let's dive right into silver.
• 0:21
I found what I thought was probably the most extensive,
• 0:25
probably the best analysis of what's going on in the silver
• 0:30
market in particular. And don't you worry, gold bugs,
• 0:33
we'll be talking about gold as well and the mining stocks.
• 0:36
But this piece of literature I'm going to share with you on
• 0:40
silver, I think is one of the best analysis documents that
• 0:44
I've seen in a long, long time. And it's telling us some very
• 0:49
interesting things about what is going on right now in the silver
• 0:53
market. This comes from Zero Hedge, came
• 0:56
  from Jesse Columbo at Bullionstar.
• 1:00
We're going to skip through to the important parts.
• 1:02
But basically he recognizes that the silver and gold markets have
• 1:06
been on quite a tear lately. OK.
• 1:08
But it gets, there's some things that we haven't thought about
• 1:11
that he brings up that we're going to cover here.
• 1:14
  Silver demand is growing rapidly.
• 1:17
All right, let's go down here. OK, Though silver is most known,
• 1:23
though silver is most known for its use in jewelry, silverware,
• 1:26
coinage and bullion projects products, the largest source of
• 1:30
silver demand is actually industrial in nature.
• 1:34
We know that right? Used in electronic solar panels,
• 1:37
  automobiles, all that good stuff.
• 1:39
The growing number of uses for silver combined with the ongoing
• 1:43
global economic growth is causing a substantial increase
• 1:47
in industrial demand. So let's go down to this chart
• 1:52
and take a look at industrial demand.
• 1:54
Now, these numbers are from the Silver Institute, our good
• 1:57
friends over at the Silver Institute.
• 2:01
Are they our good friends? We aren't too sure.
• 2:03
There's a growing number of people in the Silver community
• 2:06
that are casting suspicion over the Silver Institute and their
• 2:11
numbers. I'm not saying anything, I'm
• 2:13
just reporting the facts to you. But some people think that the
• 2:18
numbers in the silver market are even more favorable to the
• 2:23
silver price than what the Silver Institute is showing us.
• 2:27
And if we look at this chart alone, global industrial demand
• 2:31
over the last 10 years, do you notice a trend, guys?
• 2:35
Up, up, up, up, up. Demand for silver going up, You
• 2:39
probably knew that already. But let's look at global demand
• 2:44
overall. Global demand for silver from
• 2:46
2011 through through today, Oh, we dropped down in 2023, demand
• 2:53
dropped for silver. Oh my gosh, what are we going to
• 2:56
do? We're going to talk about that.
• 2:57
But look at the general trend for global demand for silver,
• 3:02
right? We've had a few years pull
• 3:04
  backs, what 20/20/2023 supposedly.
• 3:09
Although there's two key things we need to look at when we look
• 3:12
at overall demand in 2023. Number one, a lot of people
• 3:18
think this industrial demand number is not accurate, that the
• 3:22
amount of silver actually demanded, that blue section
• 3:26
should be much, much higher, primarily due to photovoltaic
• 3:30
solar. OK, Now the second thing to look
• 3:33
at is the green section investment demand.
• 3:36
That is the fickle silver stacker.
• 3:39
That's not you, that's not me, right?
• 3:41
We love our silver. We know we buy when the price is
• 3:44
low, but for some reason Western investors have been shying away
• 3:49
from silver, although there's some people that say on a global
• 3:53
level that green line may be a little lower as well.
• 3:56
So, so although we show right global demand dropping down in
• 4:00
2023, there's potential that that number was actually a
• 4:04
little higher. Again, these numbers that we're
• 4:07
looking at, these charts come from the Silver Institute.
• 4:11
There's a structural This is the important part.
• 4:15
Now, we can't talk about this enough.
• 4:17
Structural Silver deficit. Since 2021, there's been a
• 4:20
deficit of silver due to demand exceeding supply, a condition
• 4:25
that has helped to boost prices and should continue to do so for
• 4:30
the foreseeable future. Strong demand combined with
• 4:33
tepid supply increases led to a deficit of 184,000,000 ounces in
• 4:39
  2023. Stop.
• 4:40
Stop the presses. Stop the presses.
• 4:43
That means the world consumed. The world demanded almost 200
• 4:49
million more ounces of of silver than the world produced.
• 4:53
That number is projected to go to 215,000,000 oz this year,
• 4:58
2024. Most people think that's low,
• 5:01
but the big key here for us to remember, guys, is that
• 5:05
184,000,000 extra. The miners, the recycling
• 5:09
industry said, here you go, here's all the silver we got.
• 5:12
The world said we need an extra 185 million oz.
• 5:18
Where did that come from? That came from above ground
• 5:22
  supplies. Are above ground supplies
• 5:24
limitless or are they finite? I posed that question to you.
• 5:29
They are finite. They are limited.
• 5:31
So what we do know for sure is that the world pulled out,
• 5:36
right? It's like, it's like if you take
• 5:38
money out of your bank account, your savings account to pay
• 5:42
bills. The world took a withdrawal from
• 5:45
  the world's silver saving accounts.
• 5:47
And that silver saving account is limited.
• 5:51
We know that to be an absolute fact.
• 5:54
We know, right? There's very few things that in
• 5:57
life that we can say we know for sure, but we do know one thing
• 6:00
for sure. There's a limited and shrinking
• 6:03
amount of above ground silver and that will only continue to
• 6:07
shrink as this year they're projecting right here
• 6:09
215,000,000 oz deficit. Let's go down because it gets
• 6:14
  better market balance. OK.
• 6:17
This shows how the deficit's grown.
• 6:19
So this blue bar, the blue line is the silver price.
• 6:22
I don't know why they put that on there.
• 6:24
The blue bar is the surplus above 0 or the deficit.
• 6:29
Look at this for the last three years, guys, right?
• 6:33
What 202 hundred, I mean we know that what 500 million ounces of
• 6:39
silver that's a lot this above ground supply, this above ground
• 6:43
silver savings account again is not limitless.
• 6:47
It's going to, it's going to hit a point where they're like we
• 6:50
don't have any more that we can supply.
• 6:53
And you know what fixes everything price fixes
• 6:56
  everything. Mother Nature always wins.
• 6:59
  Market forces always eventually prevail.
• 7:03
Despite with the Comex and the LBMA, the electronic exchanges
• 7:08
might be doing right temporarily, you know, tamping
• 7:11
down, keeping the price of silver and likely gold for that
• 7:16
matter as well pushed down. Eventually the free market
• 7:21
forces win. Sorry, I get a little, a little
• 7:24
I get, I get very passionate when I talk about that.
• 7:29
Here's global supplies, OK. Silver demand has grown over the
• 7:33
past four years. The overall supply of silver has
• 7:36
been flat for more than a decade.
• 7:39
This is oops, this is the overall supply.
• 7:43
Let's get rid of that of silver from 2011.
• 7:47
  Blue mine production, green recycling.
• 7:50
Do you see this 10 years? It actually looks like to me
• 7:54
it's been flat with a bias towards the downside over the
• 7:57
last 10 years. This is not going to end well
• 8:01
for people who are short on silver global mine production.
• 8:06
Think about it, Where does new silver come from?
• 8:09
Where do we get the new silver from?
• 8:11
We get it from the mines, right? Yeah, recycling's pretty darn
• 8:16
tiny overall. And what's been going on in the
• 8:18
mines since 2014? Do you see a slight downtrend,
• 8:23
right for a metal that has such growing crazy demand profile?
• 8:28
  We've got a a supply that's going absolutely down.
• 8:35
Oh, and above ground. Here we go.
• 8:37
Like we just talked about the above ground supplies are
• 8:39
dwindling. The silver deficit over the past
• 8:42
few years is causing the above ground supply of silver to
• 8:47
dwindle at a rapid rate. And remember, these numbers are
• 8:51
from the Silver Institute and there's very smart people I
• 8:55
won't put. I don't want to put words in
• 8:56
people's mouths like I know that that Big John Little, right?
• 9:00
My friend, I call him Big John Little 'cause he's the biggest
• 9:03
guy out there breaking stories about silver from the Silver
• 9:07
  Academy, from the pickaxe, right?
• 9:09
The sub stack. He'll tell you he doesn't
• 9:12
believe that these numbers are accurate.
• 9:14
I believe, and again I could be wrong, but I believe Bix Weir
• 9:18
has also cast some doubt upon these numbers.
• 9:21
But we do know this, right? The above ground supplies the
• 9:24
silver guys. This is the Silver savings
• 9:28
account. Think of it like if you have a
• 9:29
savings account with $5000 in it and you pulled out $1500 last
• 9:35
month and you pulled out another $800, right?
• 9:38
There's only so much. And this is what's going on in
• 9:41
  the world's silver savings account.
• 9:43
I got to start using the arrows. London, The London and Exchange
• 9:48
  vault inventories. London Right down.
• 9:50
London Exchange Silver Stockpiles Millions of Oz.
• 9:54
January of 2020 Down to what, 1600 million oz?
• 10:03
So that's probably 1.6 billion if my math is correct.
• 10:06
What matters is it's a downward slope over the last four years.
• 10:10
Look how we've gone from up here all the way down to about maybe
• 10:16
all close to only half as much. But wait, there's more.
• 10:22
The total London The total LBMA silver in in inventory decreased
• 10:26
by 30% from its peak in 2021. The total COMEX of silver
• 10:33
inventory fell by 27%. Look since 2021 and this is
• 10:40
where it gets very interesting. The total silver inventory at
• 10:43
China's Shanghai Gold Exchange fell by an incredible 70, not
• 10:49
  7273%. Remember two things.
• 10:54
Shanghai Gold Exchange. Then we're talking about silver
• 10:59
'cause they trade silver there as well.
• 11:01
It's two big critical things. It's a physical market.
• 11:04
It's not like the Comex and the LBMA, The London Million Market
• 11:07
Association. No, no, it's an actual physical
• 11:11
market. The LBMA and the Comex, they
• 11:13
trade paper, make believe, Unicorn fart, dust silver.
• 11:16
The Shanghai Gold Exchange trades real, real, real paper,
• 11:21
real silver, Freudian slip. Very little paper.
• 11:26
Hold on, I'm gonna have a sip of coffee, 73%.
• 11:33
What does that tell you about physical demand?
• 11:37
And we also know point #2, the Shanghai Gold Exchange, the
• 11:40
price of silvers pretty much every day now 10 or 12% higher.
• 11:45
We'll go out and look at that. OK.
• 11:47
Total silver inventory on China's other main silver
• 11:50
trading venue, the Shanghai Futures Exchange, it also fell.
• 11:55
Look at this Total shares. Kilograms, right?
• 11:59
2.2 million kilograms. Half over a two year period.
• 12:04
Down, down, down. That's the amount of silver.
• 12:07
  That's the silver savings account.
• 12:11
  Technical picture. This is interesting.
• 12:13
For the past year, silver's been chopping up and down aimlessly
• 12:17
until it's sudden surge that came practically out of nowhere.
• 12:21
  Remember the wedgie pattern, guys?
• 12:23
Remember, See how silver was within this triangle took off.
• 12:27
Hold on, there's more. A look at the five year chart
• 12:32
shows major resistance overhead from 28 to $30.
• 12:36
That's the battle we have right now at Silver Investors.
• 12:40
And when we clear that 28 to $30 level, maybe it's 32, maybe it's
• 12:45
31, maybe it's 29, right? There are very few people up
• 12:50
  there. This is the thing.
• 12:51
This is the critical thing to understand.
• 12:54
There's very few people that bought silver at a spot price of
• 12:59
above $32 per oz. There's some people, no doubt
• 13:03
about it, but very few people. In the last 40-50 years it
• 13:07
bought silver at 30, four $3538 per oz.
• 13:12
That means there'll be a limited amount of sellers because and
• 13:16
then it could be a massive silver snowball.
• 13:19
  Are you ready, basement dwellers?
• 13:22
And by the way thank you for being here.
• 13:23
Please give this a thumbs up. You can subscribe.
• 13:25
It's free in super chats are always super appreciated.
• 13:28
I'm going to get back to the main screen here to see some of
• 13:30
  your comments. But realize Snowball.
• 13:33
The silver snowball happens at 3230.
• 13:37
Three $3435 per oz. Ain't no, ain't nobody.
• 13:43
No one will be selling at that point because at that time, all
• 13:47
we're going to hear about is how silver is flying.
• 13:51
No one's waiting to sell it. It can be it.
• 13:54
It can be a compounding situation.
• 13:56
I could be wrong. Don't make any financial
• 13:58
decisions based on anything I'm saying.
• 14:01
I'm just giving you my optimistic opinion.
• 14:05
The long term silver chart going back to 2000 show something very
• 14:08
interesting, a triangle pattern that has been forming for over a
• 14:13
decade. As uptrend lines and downtrend
• 14:16
lines converge together. See the triangle right.
• 14:20
Patterns like this often result in very powerful moves when the
• 14:23
asset finally breaks out from it.
• 14:26
Amazingly, silver has recently broken out from its long term
• 14:29
triangle. See the little green line where
• 14:32
it says breakout? That's a breakout, OK?
• 14:35
Which means a powerful bull market is likely ahead and could
• 14:40
take silver. Oh, we love this too.
• 14:42
It's 2011 highs of approximately $50, and even higher after that.
• 14:49
Wow. Silver's been rising in sympathy
• 14:52
to gold, where we know all about gold.
• 14:54
Here's the final point. Mainstream guys, mainstream
• 14:57
investors and journalists have missed this so far.
• 15:01
That's a good thing. We've done this with silver.
• 15:05
We've done this with gold. We've have $27.00 silver.
• 15:08
We've had a big move with very little fanfare, almost no
• 15:12
fanfare whatsoever. Why is that a good thing?
• 15:16
Because when the fanfare does kick in, remember that?
• 15:19
Remember that demand graph we looked at earlier that showed
• 15:23
that supposedly investor demand was very tepid in 2023?
• 15:28
We could see a doubling or a tripling of that investor demand
• 15:32
when the Western, when the United States and the Western
• 15:36
European investors come back in full force.
• 15:39
That could be the marginal source of demand because we know
• 15:43
industry is consuming so much silver.
• 15:45
We know everything else is sucking China.
• 15:49
Think about it. The Chinese government is now
• 15:52
encouraging their citizens to buy silver.
• 15:55
Need I remind you, there's 1.4 billion people in China.
• 16:00
There's 1.4 billion people in India.
• 16:03
Indian, younger Indians are getting more interested in
• 16:06
silver as an investment. Chinese people, right?
• 16:09
They're dealing with a cruddy stock market, a cruddy real
• 16:12
estate market. They love their gold.
• 16:15
We know that. But guess what?
• 16:17
They're starting to love their silver.
• 16:19
And remember the silver. The overall like market value of
• 16:23
all the silver in the world, according to the latest
• 16:26
statistics I saw is about $1.5 trillion.
• 16:30
That's all the silver. The value of all the gold in the
• 16:33
world is around 15 trillion. This it's not going to take a
• 16:37
lot to make big big moves in the silver market and if the
• 16:41
mainstream Western media right they probably won't until they
• 16:46
absolutely have to. But when they catch on to silver
• 16:49
look what's going on with the Costco situation the the little
• 16:52
frenzy I can't I made more. It's unbelievable is this is
• 16:57
this happening to you. But I'm having more and more
• 16:59
people at work, at, at, in the neighborhood, relatives,
• 17:04
whatever saying, hey, did you hear Costco selling gold?
• 17:07
And I'm like, yeah, I heard that about 15,000 times.
• 17:11
We've been talking about it in the basement for for like 6
• 17:15
months. So guys, this I, I really felt
• 17:18
like was one of the best. I'm going to give this author
• 17:21
some credit one more time. Jesse Colombo from Bullion Star.
• 17:25
Thank you, Jesse, for that excellent, excellent report on
• 17:30
silver. We got so much to be excited
• 17:32
about in the silver. And again, let's just remember,
• 17:35
don't forget this, this is critical.
• 17:38
All that data we looked at was from the Silver Institute, and a
• 17:42
lot of people think that the numbers are even crazier than
• 17:46
what the Silver Institute is putting out.
• 17:48
You can check out silverwars.org to get a different perspective
• 17:52
on what's going on the silver market.
• 17:54
What about the defense industry, right?
• 17:56
That's been the big hot topic this year.
• 17:59
I know Andy Schechtman, I talked with him yesterday.
• 18:02
We didn't talk about this specifically, but I've heard him
• 18:04
say many times there's like 500 ounces of silver in the tip of
• 18:08
every Tomahawk missile. silverwars.org was reporting
• 18:13
that or or it was the pickaxe or or the Silver Academy.
• 18:18
I get them mixed up. I'm sorry, but I don't get mixed
• 18:20
up that they're saying that like, torpedoes can have as many
• 18:23
as 11,000 ounces of silver in them.
• 18:26
We don't know. Due to the classified nature of
• 18:30
the data with the defense industry, we don't even know how
• 18:33
much silver is used by the defense industry.
• 18:37
But then, like we talked about yesterday, you want to it's time
• 18:40
for us to smile silver investors and we're going to go next.
• 18:45
We're going to go check the price of silver and gold.
• 18:47
But but it's even crazier when you consider what about the
• 18:51
militaries of China? What about the militaries of
• 18:54
India? How much silver are they using
• 18:57
anyway? I get a little passionate.
• 18:59
Do you get passionate when you talk about silver?
• 19:01
We love our silver. Let's go check the spot price of
• 19:05
silver right now. We're going to go out to.
• 19:08
Let's go out to Pinbex. Man, it's been all over today.
• 19:13
Look at this. I mean gold.
• 19:14
Well, hey, we'll take it. Gold up 1698, silver up $0.20
• 19:19
per oz. Let's say thank you to channel
• 19:21
sponsor Pinbex. We're there right now.
• 19:23
Let me make sure we got us there.
• 19:25
  Hold on. Yep, we're there.
• 19:27
Sorry guys, pinbexpinbex.com. Look, you've heard me talk about
• 19:34
them. You know my experience with
• 19:35
Pinbex. You know how I feel about the
• 19:38
brothers that own the company, How grateful I am for their
• 19:42
sponsorship? They make this live stream.
• 19:45
They make these videos possible. OK, but what's most important to
• 19:49
me is that I can feel good about recommending Pembex,
• 19:53
recommending that you throw them into the mix when you're looking
• 19:56
for silver, gold or platinum group metals.
• 19:59
Because I know from feedback hundreds of you have reached out
• 20:03
to me saying thank you and what a great experience you've had
• 20:07
with Pembex. I think you'll find what I found
• 20:09
right. Their prices are always ultra
• 20:12
  competitive. Their selection is great.
• 20:15
You can trust them. And when you get your box in the
• 20:17
mail, it will be wrapped up like little Fort Knox.

Let's talk about gold. Hey, guys.
• 20:31
  Hello. Everyone up.
• 20:33
Hold on here. Let's see what's going on.
• 20:35
Hey, Brian McAdams. Wow, you've been so generous.
• 20:39
Thank you Ron, for the Super chat.
• 20:40
Thank you to everyone who's gives or has given super chance.
• 20:44
They go a long way to help support the channel and the
• 20:46
  family. So thank you.
• 20:47
I want you to know we appreciate it.
• 20:49
  We appreciate getting nice emails.
• 20:51
We appreciate you. This is not possible.
• 20:53
It's YouTube. They forgot that they screwed
• 20:56
up. You know, they were going to
• 20:57
call it Ron Tube, but no, it's YouTube, all right?
• 21:00
This is not possible without you.
• 21:02
And it's a big honor when you're here.
• 21:04
  Let's talk about gold struggling.
• 21:06
Now we're going to tear this apart.
• 21:08
Are you ready to dig in? We're going to tear this little
• 21:11
article apart. Let me pull this one up for you
• 21:14
and tell you why. I think there's a completely
• 21:18
different way for us to look at this.
• 21:21
This came from Bloomberg or MarketWatch or somebody.
• 21:24
I don't know. I was having a hard time getting
• 21:25
the website up so I I pasted it here.
• 21:27
Gold. And then I wrote why is
• 21:29
struggling, Why is gold down? You know, $100, whatever.
• 21:32
OK, this is what they said, weakness.
• 21:34
And the goal in gold is partly due to diminished risk of an
• 21:37
outright war between Israel and Iran, which therefore reduced
• 21:42
the safe haven. Appeal of gold somewhat said
• 21:45
that was according to Fawad Requisara, market analyst at
• 21:49
Citi Index and forex.com. He emailed that out and some
• 21:53
commentary earlier in the week. He says we're working off
• 21:56
overbought conditions. Rasquada said that he had been
• 22:00
calling for a bit of a pullback in prices ahead of that
• 22:03
development, mainly due to the fact that gold prices have
• 22:06
become, quote UN quote, extremely overbought from a
• 22:10
technical point of view and that needed to be worked off.
• 22:13
OK, we're going to agree with this guy on one thing and we are
• 22:17
going to vehemently disagree with him on another point, We
• 22:20
agree, or at least I do. Maybe you feel different
• 22:23
differently, but the gold was extremely overbought.
• 22:26
Gold has just gone up and up and up and up and up and up and up.
• 22:29
And from a technical perspective, they have all these
• 22:31
different ways to measure it. But it had just been overbought.
• 22:35
It had been too many people piling, and it was time for Gold
• 22:38
  to take a breather. OK.
• 22:40
But what we don't agree with is that he says there's a
• 22:44
diminished risk of of war in the world he's talking about between
• 22:48
  Israel and Iran. OK, maybe.
• 22:50
But let's let's look at the, you know, they they can throw out
• 22:54
all this, this, these headlines. But let's look at, let's take a,
• 22:57
let's take a step back and look at the facts.
• 23:01
Just this week, our government, right, our fine politicians in
• 23:05
Washington, DC approved massive aid, war aid for Ukraine, for
• 23:12
Israel and for Taiwan. So you're going to tell me,
• 23:15
  right. We basically are sending
• 23:17
billions of dollars to to to Ukraine, to Europe for their,
• 23:22
for their war efforts against Russia.
• 23:24
You're going to tell us. You're going to tell us that
• 23:26
that geopolitical war risk is down right now, right?
• 23:30
And again, I say it every time. We don't want to forget these
• 23:33
are human lives. We're talking about people that
• 23:36
have brothers, sisters, kids, grandparents, everything else.
• 23:39
It's a tragedy. But we're reporting the facts.
• 23:42
And the fact is the United States is funding more war.
• 23:45
How else can you say it? the United States is funding
• 23:49
more war in the Middle East. The United States is funding
• 23:52
more war in Europe and the United States is funding
• 23:56
potential war in in Asia between China and Taiwan.
• 24:01
That's the fact. So I don't buy the fact that man
• 24:04
maybe temporarily this Iran, Israel situation, you could say
• 24:09
that. But no, we do not.
• 24:11
And geopolitical risk is one of the is one of the pillar
• 24:14
supports for the silver price and the gold price Han Tan or
• 24:20
our friend Han Tan. We haven't heard from him for a
• 24:22
while. How you doing, Han Ton?
• 24:25
He's the chief market analyst at Exonitity.
• 24:29
Oh, MarketWatch. This came from MarketWatch.
• 24:31
Thank you, MarketWatch. The gold's declines still have,
• 24:35
quote, more room to run into the sub $2300 waters.
• 24:42
Hold on a second. Well, so far.
• 24:47
Let's do an update. So far, Han Ton's wrong.
• 24:50
OK, we're still at $14.00. We aren't going to check that
• 24:53
anymore going the wrong way. But he says that the as markets
• 24:58
  unwind geopolitical risk premiums.
• 25:01
We just talked about why that's a bunch of BSA Healthy technical
• 25:04
pullback was also overdue, he said.
• 25:06
Prices overshot the underlying narrative despite the shopping
• 25:10
spree by central banks and the elevated potential gains,
• 25:15
especially once the Federal Reserve can officially kick off
• 25:19
its rate cut cycle. That was according to our to our
• 25:23
friend Han Tan. All right, so that's what
• 25:27
they're saying about gold. Very interesting.
• 25:29
Let's talk about something super interesting going on right now.
• 25:35
Let's talk about the mining stocks.
• 25:36
Hello, Metal Sear. Thank you for the Super chat.
• 25:40
We are in stagflation. Yes, that's the S word.
• 25:43
We'll talk about that later. We are in stagflation and that
• 25:47
happened during the 70s and that was a big, big deal for the
• 25:50
  gold. Think about this though.
• 25:52
Think about this, guys. We've had this crazy big
• 25:54
disconnect between the gold and silver price and the mining
• 25:58
equities. More likely that the mining
• 26:00
stocks people are asking like are the mining stocks going to
• 26:03
catch up, right. Gold shot up, the mining stocks
• 26:07
kind of just went up, but not as significantly. 2 big interesting
• 26:13
things when we, when we look at that, OK, the mining stocks will
• 26:17
likely catch up to gold and silver because the mining
• 26:20
stocks, the market is so small, so inefficient still at this
• 26:25
point that it's not able to, how did I write that out here?
• 26:30
It's not big enough or and it's or an efficient enough market to
• 26:33
be that smart. So we're likely going to see
• 26:36
metals prices. That's what I want to see
• 26:38
happen. Stay higher and the mining
• 26:41
stocks catch up. Because the mining stocks that
• 26:44
like, there's there's very few people besides us that follow
• 26:48
them. OK, Peter Grandich likes and I
• 26:51
got a crazy piece of data from Peter Greenwich, another crazy
• 26:55
piece we're going to talk about later.
• 26:56
But Peter Grandich just jokes around and says it's like me,
• 26:59
you and a couple other people in a room that are trading the
• 27:02
mining stocks right now. So it's not a big enough and
• 27:05
efficient enough market when it wakes up, which it will, right,
• 27:10
Because we got another crazy piece of data we're going to
• 27:12
look at which shows us over the decades what sectors are in
• 27:16
favor and we're in for a a commodity decade, a commodity
• 27:22
run decade and that will include silver and gold.
• 27:25
So when the people wake up, right, we're, I think we're more
• 27:28
likely to see the silver and gold price based on fundamentals
• 27:32
stay where they are and the mining stocks catch up.
• 27:36
Oh, here, this is funny too. Right along with this, why are
• 27:41
the mining stocks not doing well?
• 27:44
And I heard somebody say this and I believe it, I believe to
• 27:46
be hilarious and true at the same time and that is that the
• 27:51
central banks don't buy mining stocks, OK.
• 27:55
The central banks are buying gold, they're not buying the
• 27:58
gold mining stock. So it's going to take a little
• 28:00
while maybe it's an opportunity. I'm not giving financial advice,
• 28:04
but I will tell you that there are two gold mining stocks that
• 28:07
I own, one of which first Mining gold Canadian Gold developer
• 28:11
with two multi million ounce projects in in Canada.
• 28:14
All right, millions of Oz of gold in the ground.
• 28:17
They also have four other projects in Canada, all
• 28:20
  exploration development stage projects.
• 28:23
So if you want to buy gold in the ground in Canada, that's in
• 28:27
the permitting process. You might want to check out
• 28:29
  First Mining Gold at firstmininggold.com.
• 28:32
If you want to buy a gold miner that also is a silver miner, you
• 28:38
may want to check out Fortuna Silver.
• 28:40
They're actively mining. They have 5 mines operations in
• 28:44
Latin America, 2 silver mines in Latin America and a big gold
• 28:48
mine in Argentina. But they also have a rapidly
• 28:52
  expanding operation in West Africa.
• 28:55
West Africa Guys is becoming one of the world's premier mining
• 28:59
districts. They have a new mine in Cote
• 29:02
d'Ivoire, the Ivory Coast, the Seguela mine that's doing very,
• 29:06
very well. We're looking forward to hearing
• 29:09
their earnings, which will be out here on May 7th.
• 29:11
You can learn more about them at fortunasilver.com.
• 29:15
Hey, gold and silver mining stocks are risky, right?
• 29:18
But like I just said, some people think they've yet to
• 29:21
catch up to the metals. Either the metals are going to
• 29:24
come down or the mining stocks have some room to run.
• 29:29
And it is such a small sector that you can sometimes see.
• 29:32
Unbelievable, unbelievable, sometimes returns within that
• 29:36
  sector. Mining stocks are risky.
• 29:37
Do your own due due diligence. OK, let's look at this.
• 29:42
Oh, OK. So as we talk about this, let's
• 29:45
talk about the sectors, Let's pull up.
• 29:47
This is super interesting as well.
• 29:51
Here we go. Let's talk about what, what,
• 29:56
what were the key investment themes in each decade?
• 29:58
Let's look back and let's look at what we're going into right
• 30:01
now, what we believe will gold and silver.
• 30:05
Will commodities be the investment theme of the Twenty
• 30:09
  20s? Right.
• 30:10
I think we could be in for some good times, But the 1950s, it
• 30:14
was European stocks, the 1960s, the Nifty 50, right?
• 30:20
Oh yeah, like Xerox and I forget the other companies, but
• 30:23
Coca-Cola, Whatever. The 1970s, emerging markets and
• 30:28
commodities, remember silver went from $1.50 all the way to
• 30:34
$50 per oz during the 1970s into the year 1980.
• 30:39
And what was hot during the 80s? Japanese stocks, do you
• 30:42
  remember? Right.
• 30:44
Everybody was afraid of the Japanese.
• 30:45
They were gonna take over the world, blah blah, the 1990s.
• 30:50
Oh yeah. We had this thing called the
• 30:51
tech bubble the year 2000. It was emerging markets and
• 30:56
commodities, 2000 tens, American mega caps, right?
• 31:00
Facebook, Amazon, Microsoft, these big, big companies that
• 31:04
  have had UN unbelievable returns.
• 31:07
Hold on one second. What's next?
• 31:16
What's the 2000 twenties? What do you think?
• 31:19
Do you think that we could indeed, right, be in for a
• 31:24
period where we see gold and silver as the leaders,
• 31:30
commodities as the leaders? What do we know that's going on
• 31:33
in the world right now? I had a long discussion with
• 31:36
Andy Schechtman yesterday. You'll be able to listen to it
• 31:39
here in the next, in the next couple days.
• 31:43
Susie's doing the editing on it right now, guys.
• 31:46
The world is shifting towards precious metals.
• 31:49
There's no other way to describe it.
• 31:51
What's going on right now in the world?
• 31:54
The world is, excuse me, I'm getting texted over and over
• 31:57
from my daughter who wants me to check when her new bike is being
• 32:01
shipped. Those of you who have kids in
• 32:05
this modern age might might relate, but Andy said, and Andy
• 32:09
said like, you know it's going on right?
• 32:11
The D dollarization CBD CS are coming.
• 32:17
We didn't talk about that yesterday, but it pops up like
• 32:23
nobody's talking about it, but it is popping up right, like 98%
• 32:28
of the world's big central banks are preparing to to release CBD
• 32:33
CS. We're probably going to see that
• 32:35
in the next five years. The world is moving away.
• 32:38
The trend, right, the trend that's going on with the BRICS
• 32:42
countries is towards gold and silver.
• 32:45
It's happening right before our very eyes.
• 32:48
But we all suffer. You suffer from it.
• 32:50
I suffer from this normalcy bias, recency bias.
• 32:54
We still think, right? We still think this is
• 32:57
  something. OK, It's OK, right?
• 33:00
  I know. I know.
• 33:03
You probably know as well. But in our normal day-to-day
• 33:07
life, people still think, well, the bank still has my blah blah
• 33:10
blah it things are changing. Things are changing right now,
• 33:14
right beneath your very feet right now.
• 33:16
OK. And it's going to be could
• 33:19
potentially be a 10 year period where silver and gold investors
• 33:24
whether you're talking about the metals or the stocks could be
• 33:27
greatly, greatly appreciated. This is crazy.
• 33:31
Bloomberg. Let me read you something from
• 33:33
Bloomberg. What's the big money doing?
• 33:36
This was a Bloomberg headline that has everything to do with
• 33:39
  metals. The world's.
• 33:40
We are not alone. We are not alone.
• 33:43
You aren't alone when you're here in the basement.
• 33:45
You're a basement dweller. I'll butter you up twice today.
• 33:49
I already said it. But it's a big deal that you're
• 33:51
here, right? You're part of the part of the
• 33:53
group. When we're here in the basement
• 33:55
together, I imagine you love to talk about silver and gold.
• 34:00
You love to talk about what's really going on in the world.
• 34:03
And here's a story from Bloomberg.
• 34:05
The world's biggest energy traders are returning to the
• 34:09
  metals. The world's biggest energy
• 34:12
  traders. Vital.
• 34:13
I've never heard of these companies.
• 34:15
Goonvor and Mercuria are all building metals teams.
• 34:21
Metals. That would mean gold, silver,
• 34:24
  copper, platinum, Palladium, right?
• 34:26
Maybe aluminum, whatever. But gold and silver?
• 34:30
  Definitely. Energy traders have massive
• 34:34
amounts of capital after posting bumper profits.
• 34:38
Bloomberg Metals. Some of the world's biggest
• 34:42
energy trading companies are returning to metals years after
• 34:47
getting burnt. Years after getting burnt in the
• 34:53
notoriously difficult markets. Vitale Group, Goonvar Group,
• 34:57
Mercuria Group are among the traders building out their
• 35:00
metals teams as they look to deploy capital generated by
• 35:05
  record profits. OK, shocking, shocking.
• 35:10
These are the biggest right commodity traders.
• 35:14
Focusing now on metals #1, #2, the metals market is so darn
• 35:20
small, we get some big money players, and these are the guys.
• 35:24
Look, we've never heard of them. That's a good thing, right?
• 35:26
And they're the big, big guys in the commodity sector, right?
• 35:31
Other people will follow. It's not going to take much
• 35:35
money coming in to the gold and silver sector for massive I mean
• 35:41
massive potential. Potential, no crystal ball,
• 35:44
  don't make any financial decisions.
• 35:46
But I'm telling you massive potential gains to be had.
• 35:50
We talked about the bricks earlier.
• 35:52
How do you how do you think the the United States your country
• 35:55
Canada, most of you are joining me.
• 35:57
Are you joining me from AG 7 country?
• 36:00
All right, we're going to find out.
• 36:02
OK, but we're going to compare. We know that these BRICS
• 36:05
countries, Brazil, Russia, India, China, South Africa,
• 36:10
Iran, Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Ethiopia and the United Arab
• 36:13
Emirates, all ten of them, soon to be 1520.
• 36:17
Who knows? We're hearing more and more.
• 36:19
Somebody told me something about Argentina.
• 36:22
I don't have any definite news on that, but somebody told me
• 36:25
there was some movement with Argentina and the BRICS.
• 36:28
Anyway, like I told you, Andy Schechtman and I talked
• 36:32
  yesterday. The bricks are moving.
• 36:34
I mean the the it's happening right now.
• 36:37
The D dollarization. But how do their economies
• 36:41
compare to ours? I've got let's let's look at a
• 36:43
visual here that I think is going to drive it home for you
• 36:47
again. From Boroni Boronoi and my
• 36:50
  friend Sean, my college roommate.
• 36:52
He loves sending me these things and I love showing them to you.
• 36:55
This is the G7. That would be you if you live in
• 36:59
the United States, Canada, Japan, France, Italy, UK or
• 37:02
Germany. And the bricks real GDP growth
• 37:06
forecast for this year 2024. OK, look at the G7. the United
• 37:11
States. Oh, well, we have bionomics.
• 37:14
What could you expect? Less, right, 2.7%.
• 37:18
But look at these growth rates. Let's go down here to the
• 37:21
  bricks. Interesting.
• 37:25
Oh, do you notice something? Here, let me make that a little
• 37:28
smaller for you so you can see it better.
• 37:32
Where'd it go? There it is.
• 37:35
  There we go. OK.
• 37:39
There. Look at the BRICS countries that
• 37:42
I just named off for you. OK, look, how much India's
• 37:46
  economy 7%. China.
• 37:48
Almost 5%. Yes, I'm rounding up United Arab
• 37:51
Emirates, Iran, Russia. Wait a minute.
• 37:56
I thought the Russians were the ruble was rubble.
• 38:00
Oh my gosh. And in Egypt, 3% in Ethiopia.
• 38:04
So like 7 out of the 10 BRICS countries have higher projected
• 38:11
for 2024 economic growth than any of the G7 countries, with
• 38:17
the United States being in the lead at 2.7.
• 38:20
Saudi Arabia's barely behind. Brazil is a little bit behind,
• 38:24
right? But but but bigger than seven of
• 38:27
the Are six of the 7G7 South Africa's the only country.
• 38:30
What does this tell us about the balance of power, about the D
• 38:36
dollarization, about what could happen to silver?
• 38:40
Look at these. Think about these countries.
• 38:42
Think about silver and gold. We know India imported 70
• 38:45
million ounces of silver, 10% of the world's mine output, in one
• 38:49
month in February this year. We know China is basically
• 38:53
sucking in all the world's gold and silver.
• 38:56
We know they're crazy about gold and silver in the UAE.
• 38:59
I imagine Iran, right? We know Russia how they how they
• 39:03
value. We know what their finance
• 39:04
ministers are saying Egypt. We know what went on there with
• 39:08
  inflation and what they're doing.
• 39:10
I mean Brazil, major gold producer.
• 39:12
  South Africa, major gold producer.
• 39:14
I'm not sure about Ethiopia, but I know there's gold in that
• 39:17
region. Guys, this is changing and it is
• 39:20
going to be absolutely crazy as we as we move on, we got a lot
• 39:25
more to talk about. OK, hold on here.
• 39:28
Let's turn the page. How's everybody doing today?
• 39:31
Yeah, Metal Sears. Talking about stagflation, I've
• 39:35
got, I've got good news for you. If you're invested in precious
• 39:39
metal mining stocks, if you're invested in silver or gold, we
• 39:43
  are in a stagflationary environment.
• 39:46
  You know what? Metal sear.
• 39:48
I wasn't going to bring them out today, but let's open.
• 39:51
All right. And I'm going to show you
• 39:53
  visually. There's our friend Jerome.
• 39:55
He's in a box. He can't raise rates because all
• 39:58
the debt of the world will explode.
• 40:01
OK. He can't lower rates because
• 40:03
inflation will explode. He's going to be dealing with an
• 40:07
A recession on one side and inflation on the other.
• 40:12
That is stagflation, right? The solution, of course, is, as
• 40:17
we showed many times, silver and gold.
• 40:19
There's a little slot there we can put the money in.
• 40:22
  He's in a box. He's in a box and he's been
• 40:25
neutered. Why do you think think about
• 40:28
this? Why do you think that the Fed is
• 40:30
more focused on public relations than they are on real monetary
• 40:36
policy? Because they are up a Creek
• 40:38
without a paddle. In that Creek is called
• 40:41
stagflation, real loss in value in the US dollar.
• 40:47
Is this thing lost value? Since you since you've been
• 40:50
alive, I'm going to ask you that question, right?
• 40:52
Has this lost value? Maybe you're my age, 54, Maybe
• 40:56
  you're 34. Maybe you're 84.
• 40:58
Maybe you're, I don't know how old you are.
• 41:02
We're all kids at heart. Has this lost value since you've
• 41:06
been around? I imagine you answered yes.
• 41:11
When you look at what's going on right now, OK, Domestically in
• 41:16
the United States, fiscal monetary policy, economically,
• 41:19
  distribution of wealth. Right.
• 41:22
Just domestically in the United States, the world's biggest
• 41:25
  economy, right? Exceptional.
• 41:27
  Yeah. Exceptional at racking up
• 41:29
unbelievable amounts of debt on a government, corporate and
• 41:32
household level. Nonetheless, do you do you see
• 41:37
right. Think one more time since you've
• 41:39
been alive. What has this done?
• 41:41
Well, when I was a, this was a pretty big deal to me.
• 41:44
In 1980, I could go get 4 candy bars and a soda, right?
• 41:48
What can I do with it now? I can't even get a candy bar
• 41:52
  right. It's lost value.
• 41:54
Do you think, when you look at the situation we're in now, and
• 41:57
that's what Andy Scheckman said yesterday, we're in a more
• 42:00
precarious situation now, right? Things have been escalated,
• 42:04
  things are happening more quickly.
• 42:06
Do you think that in the next 10 years, right, that we aren't
• 42:10
going to see massive, this recession and this inflation,
• 42:17
and that's stagflation and that is the most fertile soil, the
• 42:20
most fertile environment that you could ever ask for for the
• 42:24
gold price and silver price? Overspending by our government
• 42:27
is feeding structural inflation. Gold and silver know this. the
• 42:31
Fed can't raise rates or lower rates.
• 42:33
We have a debt problem, an inflation problem.
• 42:36
Think about this. We got a debt problem and we've
• 42:41
got an inflation problem. We got more problems too.
• 42:46
We got a bubble in the residential real estate market
• 42:50
and we probably still have somewhat of a bubble in the bond
• 42:53
market and the commercial real estate market.
• 42:56
Think about the situation that we're in.
• 42:58
OK, markets are high, what a stock market and definitely a
• 43:03
bubble, right, Silver and gold. This goes back to that decade
• 43:08
chart which which asset class over performed during different
• 43:12
decades. Hold on a second, somebody's
• 43:14
texting me. I'll see who it is and then
• 43:18
  we're gonna, we're gonna, we're gonna.
• 43:22
I tell you, having 12 year old twin daughters is quite an
• 43:25
adventure especially when they have their own phones
• 43:27
  nonetheless. Nonetheless, all those asset
• 43:30
classes, right we are gonna see a rotation the R word rotation
• 43:35
and then I got information from Peter Grandich.
• 43:39
Been a little bit of a theme lately on the show.
• 43:41
Are you ready for retirement? I'm asking you a question.
• 43:45
But first, we're going to see a rotation out of financial
• 43:53
financialized assets, things that did so well when there was
• 43:57
free money everywhere, right into real assets.
• 44:01
That's what we got coming. Let's see what Peter Grandage
• 44:04
had to say here about retirement.
• 44:08
This was shocking to me. OK, only 2% of people have more
• 44:15
  than $1 million safer retirement.
• 44:18
Why that milestone matters. OK And then Peter says this the
• 44:22
  financial. The financial service industry
• 44:25
doesn't want this fact to be widely known because it would
• 44:31
ruin their facade that many Americans retirement needs will
• 44:34
be met if you just entrust your finances to them.
• 44:39
Don't be a fool, $1,000,000 saved now is the bare minimum
• 44:44
amount for retirement as we speak and only 2%.
• 44:48
One in 50 people meet that starting level.
• 44:52
With 65% of Americans working paycheck to paycheck, many will
• 45:00
never come close. Sadly, This is why a quote UN
• 45:04
quote retirement and aging crisis is #2 on my 5 factors of
• 45:09
why you must build a financial arc ASAP.
• 45:12
Guys, 2% of people are we headed for disaster in this country?
• 45:18
Where do you stack up? I know where you stack up.
• 45:21
In my book, you're near the top. So are all the moderators who
• 45:24
were on here today helping moderate the live stream?
• 45:27
I hope you guys have a great day.
• 45:29
I believe firmly that the next decade could be very interesting
• 45:34
in a good way for silver and gold.
• 45:36
I'm going to look forward to seeing you guys.
• 45:38
Oh, wait, we got another super chat.
• 45:40
  Hold on. Thank you, William.
