- 0:02Absolute crazy behavior right now with the silver price.
- 0:06With the gold price up $25 for gold down a dollar, back up 26
- 0:13dollars. I think right now maybe it's up
- 0:15$18.00. Is this a precursor for things
- 0:18to come? Let's dive right into silver.
- 0:21I found what I thought was probably the most extensive,
- 0:25probably the best analysis of what's going on in the silver
- 0:30market in particular. And don't you worry, gold bugs,
- 0:33we'll be talking about gold as well and the mining stocks.
- 0:36But this piece of literature I'm going to share with you on
- 0:40silver, I think is one of the best analysis documents that
- 0:44I've seen in a long, long time. And it's telling us some very
- 0:49interesting things about what is going on right now in the silver
- 0:53market. This comes from Zero Hedge, came
- 0:56from Jesse Columbo at Bullionstar.
- 1:00We're going to skip through to the important parts.
- 1:02But basically he recognizes that the silver and gold markets have
- 1:06been on quite a tear lately. OK.
- 1:08But it gets, there's some things that we haven't thought about
- 1:11that he brings up that we're going to cover here.
- 1:14Silver demand is growing rapidly.
- 1:17All right, let's go down here. OK, Though silver is most known,
- 1:23though silver is most known for its use in jewelry, silverware,
- 1:26coinage and bullion projects products, the largest source of
- 1:30silver demand is actually industrial in nature.
- 1:34We know that right? Used in electronic solar panels,
- 1:37automobiles, all that good stuff.
- 1:39The growing number of uses for silver combined with the ongoing
- 1:43global economic growth is causing a substantial increase
- 1:47in industrial demand. So let's go down to this chart
- 1:52and take a look at industrial demand.
- 1:54Now, these numbers are from the Silver Institute, our good
- 1:57friends over at the Silver Institute.
- 2:01Are they our good friends? We aren't too sure.
- 2:03There's a growing number of people in the Silver community
- 2:06that are casting suspicion over the Silver Institute and their
- 2:11numbers. I'm not saying anything, I'm
- 2:13just reporting the facts to you. But some people think that the
- 2:18numbers in the silver market are even more favorable to the
- 2:23silver price than what the Silver Institute is showing us.
- 2:27And if we look at this chart alone, global industrial demand
- 2:31over the last 10 years, do you notice a trend, guys?
- 2:35Up, up, up, up, up. Demand for silver going up, You
- 2:39probably knew that already. But let's look at global demand
- 2:44overall. Global demand for silver from
- 2:462011 through through today, Oh, we dropped down in 2023, demand
- 2:53dropped for silver. Oh my gosh, what are we going to
- 2:56do? We're going to talk about that.
- 2:57But look at the general trend for global demand for silver,
- 3:02right? We've had a few years pull
- 3:04backs, what 20/20/2023 supposedly.
- 3:09Although there's two key things we need to look at when we look
- 3:12at overall demand in 2023. Number one, a lot of people
- 3:18think this industrial demand number is not accurate, that the
- 3:22amount of silver actually demanded, that blue section
- 3:26should be much, much higher, primarily due to photovoltaic
- 3:30solar. OK, Now the second thing to look
- 3:33at is the green section investment demand.
- 3:36That is the fickle silver stacker.
- 3:39That's not you, that's not me, right?
- 3:41We love our silver. We know we buy when the price is
- 3:44low, but for some reason Western investors have been shying away
- 3:49from silver, although there's some people that say on a global
- 3:53level that green line may be a little lower as well.
- 3:56So, so although we show right global demand dropping down in
- 4:002023, there's potential that that number was actually a
- 4:04little higher. Again, these numbers that we're
- 4:07looking at, these charts come from the Silver Institute.
- 4:11There's a structural This is the important part.
- 4:15Now, we can't talk about this enough.
- 4:17Structural Silver deficit. Since 2021, there's been a
- 4:20deficit of silver due to demand exceeding supply, a condition
- 4:25that has helped to boost prices and should continue to do so for
- 4:30the foreseeable future. Strong demand combined with
- 4:33tepid supply increases led to a deficit of 184,000,000 ounces in
- 4:392023. Stop.
- 4:40Stop the presses. Stop the presses.
- 4:43That means the world consumed. The world demanded almost 200
- 4:49million more ounces of of silver than the world produced.
- 4:53That number is projected to go to 215,000,000 oz this year,
- 4:582024. Most people think that's low,
- 5:01but the big key here for us to remember, guys, is that
- 5:05184,000,000 extra. The miners, the recycling
- 5:09industry said, here you go, here's all the silver we got.
- 5:12The world said we need an extra 185 million oz.
- 5:18Where did that come from? That came from above ground
- 5:22supplies. Are above ground supplies
- 5:24limitless or are they finite? I posed that question to you.
- 5:29They are finite. They are limited.
- 5:31So what we do know for sure is that the world pulled out,
- 5:36right? It's like, it's like if you take
- 5:38money out of your bank account, your savings account to pay
- 5:42bills. The world took a withdrawal from
- 5:45the world's silver saving accounts.
- 5:47And that silver saving account is limited.
- 5:51We know that to be an absolute fact.
- 5:54We know, right? There's very few things that in
- 5:57life that we can say we know for sure, but we do know one thing
- 6:00for sure. There's a limited and shrinking
- 6:03amount of above ground silver and that will only continue to
- 6:07shrink as this year they're projecting right here
- 6:09215,000,000 oz deficit. Let's go down because it gets
- 6:14better market balance. OK.
- 6:17This shows how the deficit's grown.
- 6:19So this blue bar, the blue line is the silver price.
- 6:22I don't know why they put that on there.
- 6:24The blue bar is the surplus above 0 or the deficit.
- 6:29Look at this for the last three years, guys, right?
- 6:33What 202 hundred, I mean we know that what 500 million ounces of
- 6:39silver that's a lot this above ground supply, this above ground
- 6:43silver savings account again is not limitless.
- 6:47It's going to, it's going to hit a point where they're like we
- 6:50don't have any more that we can supply.
- 6:53And you know what fixes everything price fixes
- 6:56everything. Mother Nature always wins.
- 6:59Market forces always eventually prevail.
- 7:03Despite with the Comex and the LBMA, the electronic exchanges
- 7:08might be doing right temporarily, you know, tamping
- 7:11down, keeping the price of silver and likely gold for that
- 7:16matter as well pushed down. Eventually the free market
- 7:21forces win. Sorry, I get a little, a little
- 7:24I get, I get very passionate when I talk about that.
- 7:29Here's global supplies, OK. Silver demand has grown over the
- 7:33past four years. The overall supply of silver has
- 7:36been flat for more than a decade.
- 7:39This is oops, this is the overall supply.
- 7:43Let's get rid of that of silver from 2011.
- 7:47Blue mine production, green recycling.
- 7:50Do you see this 10 years? It actually looks like to me
- 7:54it's been flat with a bias towards the downside over the
- 7:57last 10 years. This is not going to end well
- 8:01for people who are short on silver global mine production.
- 8:06Think about it, Where does new silver come from?
- 8:09Where do we get the new silver from?
- 8:11We get it from the mines, right? Yeah, recycling's pretty darn
- 8:16tiny overall. And what's been going on in the
- 8:18mines since 2014? Do you see a slight downtrend,
- 8:23right for a metal that has such growing crazy demand profile?
- 8:28We've got a a supply that's going absolutely down.
- 8:35Oh, and above ground. Here we go.
- 8:37Like we just talked about the above ground supplies are
- 8:39dwindling. The silver deficit over the past
- 8:42few years is causing the above ground supply of silver to
- 8:47dwindle at a rapid rate. And remember, these numbers are
- 8:51from the Silver Institute and there's very smart people I
- 8:55won't put. I don't want to put words in
- 8:56people's mouths like I know that that Big John Little, right?
- 9:00My friend, I call him Big John Little 'cause he's the biggest
- 9:03guy out there breaking stories about silver from the Silver
- 9:07Academy, from the pickaxe, right?
- 9:09The sub stack. He'll tell you he doesn't
- 9:12believe that these numbers are accurate.
- 9:14I believe, and again I could be wrong, but I believe Bix Weir
- 9:18has also cast some doubt upon these numbers.
- 9:21But we do know this, right? The above ground supplies the
- 9:24silver guys. This is the Silver savings
- 9:28account. Think of it like if you have a
- 9:29savings account with $5000 in it and you pulled out $1500 last
- 9:35month and you pulled out another $800, right?
- 9:38There's only so much. And this is what's going on in
- 9:41the world's silver savings account.
- 9:43I got to start using the arrows. London, The London and Exchange
- 9:48vault inventories. London Right down.
- 9:50London Exchange Silver Stockpiles Millions of Oz.
- 9:54January of 2020 Down to what, 1600 million oz?
- 10:03So that's probably 1.6 billion if my math is correct.
- 10:06What matters is it's a downward slope over the last four years.
- 10:10Look how we've gone from up here all the way down to about maybe
- 10:16all close to only half as much. But wait, there's more.
- 10:22The total London The total LBMA silver in in inventory decreased
- 10:26by 30% from its peak in 2021. The total COMEX of silver
- 10:33inventory fell by 27%. Look since 2021 and this is
- 10:40where it gets very interesting. The total silver inventory at
- 10:43China's Shanghai Gold Exchange fell by an incredible 70, not
- 10:497273%. Remember two things.
- 10:54Shanghai Gold Exchange. Then we're talking about silver
- 10:59'cause they trade silver there as well.
- 11:01It's two big critical things. It's a physical market.
- 11:04It's not like the Comex and the LBMA, The London Million Market
- 11:07Association. No, no, it's an actual physical
- 11:11market. The LBMA and the Comex, they
- 11:13trade paper, make believe, Unicorn fart, dust silver.
- 11:16The Shanghai Gold Exchange trades real, real, real paper,
- 11:21real silver, Freudian slip. Very little paper.
- 11:26Hold on, I'm gonna have a sip of coffee, 73%.
- 11:33What does that tell you about physical demand?
- 11:37And we also know point #2, the Shanghai Gold Exchange, the
- 11:40price of silvers pretty much every day now 10 or 12% higher.
- 11:45We'll go out and look at that. OK.
- 11:47Total silver inventory on China's other main silver
- 11:50trading venue, the Shanghai Futures Exchange, it also fell.
- 11:55Look at this Total shares. Kilograms, right?
- 11:592.2 million kilograms. Half over a two year period.
- 12:04Down, down, down. That's the amount of silver.
- 12:07That's the silver savings account.
- 12:11Technical picture. This is interesting.
- 12:13For the past year, silver's been chopping up and down aimlessly
- 12:17until it's sudden surge that came practically out of nowhere.
- 12:21Remember the wedgie pattern, guys?
- 12:23Remember, See how silver was within this triangle took off.
- 12:27Hold on, there's more. A look at the five year chart
- 12:32shows major resistance overhead from 28 to $30.
- 12:36That's the battle we have right now at Silver Investors.
- 12:40And when we clear that 28 to $30 level, maybe it's 32, maybe it's
- 12:4531, maybe it's 29, right? There are very few people up
- 12:50there. This is the thing.
- 12:51This is the critical thing to understand.
- 12:54There's very few people that bought silver at a spot price of
- 12:59above $32 per oz. There's some people, no doubt
- 13:03about it, but very few people. In the last 40-50 years it
- 13:07bought silver at 30, four $3538 per oz.
- 13:12That means there'll be a limited amount of sellers because and
- 13:16then it could be a massive silver snowball.
- 13:19Are you ready, basement dwellers?
- 13:22And by the way thank you for being here.
- 13:23Please give this a thumbs up. You can subscribe.
- 13:25It's free in super chats are always super appreciated.
- 13:28I'm going to get back to the main screen here to see some of
- 13:30your comments. But realize Snowball.
- 13:33The silver snowball happens at 3230.
- 13:37Three $3435 per oz. Ain't no, ain't nobody.
- 13:43No one will be selling at that point because at that time, all
- 13:47we're going to hear about is how silver is flying.
- 13:51No one's waiting to sell it. It can be it.
- 13:54It can be a compounding situation.
- 13:56I could be wrong. Don't make any financial
- 13:58decisions based on anything I'm saying.
- 14:01I'm just giving you my optimistic opinion.
- 14:05The long term silver chart going back to 2000 show something very
- 14:08interesting, a triangle pattern that has been forming for over a
- 14:13decade. As uptrend lines and downtrend
- 14:16lines converge together. See the triangle right.
- 14:20Patterns like this often result in very powerful moves when the
- 14:23asset finally breaks out from it.
- 14:26Amazingly, silver has recently broken out from its long term
- 14:29triangle. See the little green line where
- 14:32it says breakout? That's a breakout, OK?
- 14:35Which means a powerful bull market is likely ahead and could
- 14:40take silver. Oh, we love this too.
- 14:42It's 2011 highs of approximately $50, and even higher after that.
- 14:49Wow. Silver's been rising in sympathy
- 14:52to gold, where we know all about gold.
- 14:54Here's the final point. Mainstream guys, mainstream
- 14:57investors and journalists have missed this so far.
- 15:01That's a good thing. We've done this with silver.
- 15:05We've done this with gold. We've have $27.00 silver.
- 15:08We've had a big move with very little fanfare, almost no
- 15:12fanfare whatsoever. Why is that a good thing?
- 15:16Because when the fanfare does kick in, remember that?
- 15:19Remember that demand graph we looked at earlier that showed
- 15:23that supposedly investor demand was very tepid in 2023?
- 15:28We could see a doubling or a tripling of that investor demand
- 15:32when the Western, when the United States and the Western
- 15:36European investors come back in full force.
- 15:39That could be the marginal source of demand because we know
- 15:43industry is consuming so much silver.
- 15:45We know everything else is sucking China.
- 15:49Think about it. The Chinese government is now
- 15:52encouraging their citizens to buy silver.
- 15:55Need I remind you, there's 1.4 billion people in China.
- 16:00There's 1.4 billion people in India.
- 16:03Indian, younger Indians are getting more interested in
- 16:06silver as an investment. Chinese people, right?
- 16:09They're dealing with a cruddy stock market, a cruddy real
- 16:12estate market. They love their gold.
- 16:15We know that. But guess what?
- 16:17They're starting to love their silver.
- 16:19And remember the silver. The overall like market value of
- 16:23all the silver in the world, according to the latest
- 16:26statistics I saw is about $1.5 trillion.
- 16:30That's all the silver. The value of all the gold in the
- 16:33world is around 15 trillion. This it's not going to take a
- 16:37lot to make big big moves in the silver market and if the
- 16:41mainstream Western media right they probably won't until they
- 16:46absolutely have to. But when they catch on to silver
- 16:49look what's going on with the Costco situation the the little
- 16:52frenzy I can't I made more. It's unbelievable is this is
- 16:57this happening to you. But I'm having more and more
- 16:59people at work, at, at, in the neighborhood, relatives,
- 17:04whatever saying, hey, did you hear Costco selling gold?
- 17:07And I'm like, yeah, I heard that about 15,000 times.
- 17:11We've been talking about it in the basement for for like 6
- 17:15months. So guys, this I, I really felt
- 17:18like was one of the best. I'm going to give this author
- 17:21some credit one more time. Jesse Colombo from Bullion Star.
- 17:25Thank you, Jesse, for that excellent, excellent report on
- 17:30silver. We got so much to be excited
- 17:32about in the silver. And again, let's just remember,
- 17:35don't forget this, this is critical.
- 17:38All that data we looked at was from the Silver Institute, and a
- 17:42lot of people think that the numbers are even crazier than
- 17:46what the Silver Institute is putting out.
- 17:48You can check out silverwars.org to get a different perspective
- 17:52on what's going on the silver market.
- 17:54What about the defense industry, right?
- 17:56That's been the big hot topic this year.
- 17:59I know Andy Schechtman, I talked with him yesterday.
- 18:02We didn't talk about this specifically, but I've heard him
- 18:04say many times there's like 500 ounces of silver in the tip of
- 18:08every Tomahawk missile. silverwars.org was reporting
- 18:13that or or it was the pickaxe or or the Silver Academy.
- 18:18I get them mixed up. I'm sorry, but I don't get mixed
- 18:20up that they're saying that like, torpedoes can have as many
- 18:23as 11,000 ounces of silver in them.
- 18:26We don't know. Due to the classified nature of
- 18:30the data with the defense industry, we don't even know how
- 18:33much silver is used by the defense industry.
- 18:37But then, like we talked about yesterday, you want to it's time
- 18:40for us to smile silver investors and we're going to go next.
- 18:45We're going to go check the price of silver and gold.
- 18:47But but it's even crazier when you consider what about the
- 18:51militaries of China? What about the militaries of
- 18:54India? How much silver are they using
- 18:57anyway? I get a little passionate.
- 18:59Do you get passionate when you talk about silver?
- 19:01We love our silver. Let's go check the spot price of
- 19:05silver right now. We're going to go out to.
- 19:08Let's go out to Pinbex. Man, it's been all over today.
- 19:13Look at this. I mean gold.
- 19:14Well, hey, we'll take it. Gold up 1698, silver up $0.20
- 19:19per oz. Let's say thank you to channel
- 19:21sponsor Pinbex. We're there right now.
- 19:23Let me make sure we got us there.
- 19:25Hold on. Yep, we're there.
- 19:27Sorry guys, pinbexpinbex.com. Look, you've heard me talk about
- 19:34them. You know my experience with
- 19:35Pinbex. You know how I feel about the
- 19:38brothers that own the company, How grateful I am for their
- 19:42sponsorship? They make this live stream.
- 19:45They make these videos possible. OK, but what's most important to
- 19:49me is that I can feel good about recommending Pembex,
- 19:53recommending that you throw them into the mix when you're looking
- 19:56for silver, gold or platinum group metals.
- 19:59Because I know from feedback hundreds of you have reached out
- 20:03to me saying thank you and what a great experience you've had
- 20:07with Pembex. I think you'll find what I found
- 20:09right. Their prices are always ultra
- 20:12competitive. Their selection is great.
- 20:15You can trust them. And when you get your box in the
- 20:17mail, it will be wrapped up like little Fort Knox.
- 20:19It's it's fun to open your packages from Pimbex.
- 20:23Next time you're out considering buying some bullion?
- 20:26Do yourself a favor and check out Pimbex.
- 20:28Let's talk about gold. Hey, guys.
- 20:31Hello. Everyone up.
- 20:33Hold on here. Let's see what's going on.
- 20:35Hey, Brian McAdams. Wow, you've been so generous.
- 20:39Thank you Ron, for the Super chat.
- 20:40Thank you to everyone who's gives or has given super chance.
- 20:44They go a long way to help support the channel and the
- 20:46family. So thank you.
- 20:47I want you to know we appreciate it.
- 20:49We appreciate getting nice emails.
- 20:51We appreciate you. This is not possible.
- 20:53It's YouTube. They forgot that they screwed
- 20:56up. You know, they were going to
- 20:57call it Ron Tube, but no, it's YouTube, all right?
- 21:00This is not possible without you.
- 21:02And it's a big honor when you're here.
- 21:04Let's talk about gold struggling.
- 21:06Now we're going to tear this apart.
- 21:08Are you ready to dig in? We're going to tear this little
- 21:11article apart. Let me pull this one up for you
- 21:14and tell you why. I think there's a completely
- 21:18different way for us to look at this.
- 21:21This came from Bloomberg or MarketWatch or somebody.
- 21:24I don't know. I was having a hard time getting
- 21:25the website up so I I pasted it here.
- 21:27Gold. And then I wrote why is
- 21:29struggling, Why is gold down? You know, $100, whatever.
- 21:32OK, this is what they said, weakness.
- 21:34And the goal in gold is partly due to diminished risk of an
- 21:37outright war between Israel and Iran, which therefore reduced
- 21:42the safe haven. Appeal of gold somewhat said
- 21:45that was according to Fawad Requisara, market analyst at
- 21:49Citi Index and forex.com. He emailed that out and some
- 21:53commentary earlier in the week. He says we're working off
- 21:56overbought conditions. Rasquada said that he had been
- 22:00calling for a bit of a pullback in prices ahead of that
- 22:03development, mainly due to the fact that gold prices have
- 22:06become, quote UN quote, extremely overbought from a
- 22:10technical point of view and that needed to be worked off.
- 22:13OK, we're going to agree with this guy on one thing and we are
- 22:17going to vehemently disagree with him on another point, We
- 22:20agree, or at least I do. Maybe you feel different
- 22:23differently, but the gold was extremely overbought.
- 22:26Gold has just gone up and up and up and up and up and up and up.
- 22:29And from a technical perspective, they have all these
- 22:31different ways to measure it. But it had just been overbought.
- 22:35It had been too many people piling, and it was time for Gold
- 22:38to take a breather. OK.
- 22:40But what we don't agree with is that he says there's a
- 22:44diminished risk of of war in the world he's talking about between
- 22:48Israel and Iran. OK, maybe.
- 22:50But let's let's look at the, you know, they they can throw out
- 22:54all this, this, these headlines. But let's look at, let's take a,
- 22:57let's take a step back and look at the facts.
- 23:01Just this week, our government, right, our fine politicians in
- 23:05Washington, DC approved massive aid, war aid for Ukraine, for
- 23:12Israel and for Taiwan. So you're going to tell me,
- 23:15right. We basically are sending
- 23:17billions of dollars to to to Ukraine, to Europe for their,
- 23:22for their war efforts against Russia.
- 23:24You're going to tell us. You're going to tell us that
- 23:26that geopolitical war risk is down right now, right?
- 23:30And again, I say it every time. We don't want to forget these
- 23:33are human lives. We're talking about people that
- 23:36have brothers, sisters, kids, grandparents, everything else.
- 23:39It's a tragedy. But we're reporting the facts.
- 23:42And the fact is the United States is funding more war.
- 23:45How else can you say it? the United States is funding
- 23:49more war in the Middle East. The United States is funding
- 23:52more war in Europe and the United States is funding
- 23:56potential war in in Asia between China and Taiwan.
- 24:01That's the fact. So I don't buy the fact that man
- 24:04maybe temporarily this Iran, Israel situation, you could say
- 24:09that. But no, we do not.
- 24:11And geopolitical risk is one of the is one of the pillar
- 24:14supports for the silver price and the gold price Han Tan or
- 24:20our friend Han Tan. We haven't heard from him for a
- 24:22while. How you doing, Han Ton?
- 24:25He's the chief market analyst at Exonitity.
- 24:29Oh, MarketWatch. This came from MarketWatch.
- 24:31Thank you, MarketWatch. The gold's declines still have,
- 24:35quote, more room to run into the sub $2300 waters.
- 24:42Hold on a second. Well, so far.
- 24:47Let's do an update. So far, Han Ton's wrong.
- 24:50OK, we're still at $14.00. We aren't going to check that
- 24:53anymore going the wrong way. But he says that the as markets
- 24:58unwind geopolitical risk premiums.
- 25:01We just talked about why that's a bunch of BSA Healthy technical
- 25:04pullback was also overdue, he said.
- 25:06Prices overshot the underlying narrative despite the shopping
- 25:10spree by central banks and the elevated potential gains,
- 25:15especially once the Federal Reserve can officially kick off
- 25:19its rate cut cycle. That was according to our to our
- 25:23friend Han Tan. All right, so that's what
- 25:27they're saying about gold. Very interesting.
- 25:29Let's talk about something super interesting going on right now.
- 25:35Let's talk about the mining stocks.
- 25:36Hello, Metal Sear. Thank you for the Super chat.
- 25:40We are in stagflation. Yes, that's the S word.
- 25:43We'll talk about that later. We are in stagflation and that
- 25:47happened during the 70s and that was a big, big deal for the
- 25:50gold. Think about this though.
- 25:52Think about this, guys. We've had this crazy big
- 25:54disconnect between the gold and silver price and the mining
- 25:58equities. More likely that the mining
- 26:00stocks people are asking like are the mining stocks going to
- 26:03catch up, right. Gold shot up, the mining stocks
- 26:07kind of just went up, but not as significantly. 2 big interesting
- 26:13things when we, when we look at that, OK, the mining stocks will
- 26:17likely catch up to gold and silver because the mining
- 26:20stocks, the market is so small, so inefficient still at this
- 26:25point that it's not able to, how did I write that out here?
- 26:30It's not big enough or and it's or an efficient enough market to
- 26:33be that smart. So we're likely going to see
- 26:36metals prices. That's what I want to see
- 26:38happen. Stay higher and the mining
- 26:41stocks catch up. Because the mining stocks that
- 26:44like, there's there's very few people besides us that follow
- 26:48them. OK, Peter Grandich likes and I
- 26:51got a crazy piece of data from Peter Greenwich, another crazy
- 26:55piece we're going to talk about later.
- 26:56But Peter Grandich just jokes around and says it's like me,
- 26:59you and a couple other people in a room that are trading the
- 27:02mining stocks right now. So it's not a big enough and
- 27:05efficient enough market when it wakes up, which it will, right,
- 27:10Because we got another crazy piece of data we're going to
- 27:12look at which shows us over the decades what sectors are in
- 27:16favor and we're in for a a commodity decade, a commodity
- 27:22run decade and that will include silver and gold.
- 27:25So when the people wake up, right, we're, I think we're more
- 27:28likely to see the silver and gold price based on fundamentals
- 27:32stay where they are and the mining stocks catch up.
- 27:36Oh, here, this is funny too. Right along with this, why are
- 27:41the mining stocks not doing well?
- 27:44And I heard somebody say this and I believe it, I believe to
- 27:46be hilarious and true at the same time and that is that the
- 27:51central banks don't buy mining stocks, OK.
- 27:55The central banks are buying gold, they're not buying the
- 27:58gold mining stock. So it's going to take a little
- 28:00while maybe it's an opportunity. I'm not giving financial advice,
- 28:04but I will tell you that there are two gold mining stocks that
- 28:07I own, one of which first Mining gold Canadian Gold developer
- 28:11with two multi million ounce projects in in Canada.
- 28:14All right, millions of Oz of gold in the ground.
- 28:17They also have four other projects in Canada, all
- 28:20exploration development stage projects.
- 28:23So if you want to buy gold in the ground in Canada, that's in
- 28:27the permitting process. You might want to check out
- 28:29First Mining Gold at firstmininggold.com.
- 28:32If you want to buy a gold miner that also is a silver miner, you
- 28:38may want to check out Fortuna Silver.
- 28:40They're actively mining. They have 5 mines operations in
- 28:44Latin America, 2 silver mines in Latin America and a big gold
- 28:48mine in Argentina. But they also have a rapidly
- 28:52expanding operation in West Africa.
- 28:55West Africa Guys is becoming one of the world's premier mining
- 28:59districts. They have a new mine in Cote
- 29:02d'Ivoire, the Ivory Coast, the Seguela mine that's doing very,
- 29:06very well. We're looking forward to hearing
- 29:09their earnings, which will be out here on May 7th.
- 29:11You can learn more about them at fortunasilver.com.
- 29:15Hey, gold and silver mining stocks are risky, right?
- 29:18But like I just said, some people think they've yet to
- 29:21catch up to the metals. Either the metals are going to
- 29:24come down or the mining stocks have some room to run.
- 29:29And it is such a small sector that you can sometimes see.
- 29:32Unbelievable, unbelievable, sometimes returns within that
- 29:36sector. Mining stocks are risky.
- 29:37Do your own due due diligence. OK, let's look at this.
- 29:42Oh, OK. So as we talk about this, let's
- 29:45talk about the sectors, Let's pull up.
- 29:47This is super interesting as well.
- 29:51Here we go. Let's talk about what, what,
- 29:56what were the key investment themes in each decade?
- 29:58Let's look back and let's look at what we're going into right
- 30:01now, what we believe will gold and silver.
- 30:05Will commodities be the investment theme of the Twenty
- 30:0920s? Right.
- 30:10I think we could be in for some good times, But the 1950s, it
- 30:14was European stocks, the 1960s, the Nifty 50, right?
- 30:20Oh yeah, like Xerox and I forget the other companies, but
- 30:23Coca-Cola, Whatever. The 1970s, emerging markets and
- 30:28commodities, remember silver went from $1.50 all the way to
- 30:34$50 per oz during the 1970s into the year 1980.
- 30:39And what was hot during the 80s? Japanese stocks, do you
- 30:42remember? Right.
- 30:44Everybody was afraid of the Japanese.
- 30:45They were gonna take over the world, blah blah, the 1990s.
- 30:50Oh yeah. We had this thing called the
- 30:51tech bubble the year 2000. It was emerging markets and
- 30:56commodities, 2000 tens, American mega caps, right?
- 31:00Facebook, Amazon, Microsoft, these big, big companies that
- 31:04have had UN unbelievable returns.
- 31:07Hold on one second. What's next?
- 31:16What's the 2000 twenties? What do you think?
- 31:19Do you think that we could indeed, right, be in for a
- 31:24period where we see gold and silver as the leaders,
- 31:30commodities as the leaders? What do we know that's going on
- 31:33in the world right now? I had a long discussion with
- 31:36Andy Schechtman yesterday. You'll be able to listen to it
- 31:39here in the next, in the next couple days.
- 31:43Susie's doing the editing on it right now, guys.
- 31:46The world is shifting towards precious metals.
- 31:49There's no other way to describe it.
- 31:51What's going on right now in the world?
- 31:54The world is, excuse me, I'm getting texted over and over
- 31:57from my daughter who wants me to check when her new bike is being
- 32:01shipped. Those of you who have kids in
- 32:05this modern age might might relate, but Andy said, and Andy
- 32:09said like, you know it's going on right?
- 32:11The D dollarization CBD CS are coming.
- 32:17We didn't talk about that yesterday, but it pops up like
- 32:23nobody's talking about it, but it is popping up right, like 98%
- 32:28of the world's big central banks are preparing to to release CBD
- 32:33CS. We're probably going to see that
- 32:35in the next five years. The world is moving away.
- 32:38The trend, right, the trend that's going on with the BRICS
- 32:42countries is towards gold and silver.
- 32:45It's happening right before our very eyes.
- 32:48But we all suffer. You suffer from it.
- 32:50I suffer from this normalcy bias, recency bias.
- 32:54We still think, right? We still think this is
- 32:57something. OK, It's OK, right?
- 33:00I know. I know.
- 33:03You probably know as well. But in our normal day-to-day
- 33:07life, people still think, well, the bank still has my blah blah
- 33:10blah it things are changing. Things are changing right now,
- 33:14right beneath your very feet right now.
- 33:16OK. And it's going to be could
- 33:19potentially be a 10 year period where silver and gold investors
- 33:24whether you're talking about the metals or the stocks could be
- 33:27greatly, greatly appreciated. This is crazy.
- 33:31Bloomberg. Let me read you something from
- 33:33Bloomberg. What's the big money doing?
- 33:36This was a Bloomberg headline that has everything to do with
- 33:39metals. The world's.
- 33:40We are not alone. We are not alone.
- 33:43You aren't alone when you're here in the basement.
- 33:45You're a basement dweller. I'll butter you up twice today.
- 33:49I already said it. But it's a big deal that you're
- 33:51here, right? You're part of the part of the
- 33:53group. When we're here in the basement
- 33:55together, I imagine you love to talk about silver and gold.
- 34:00You love to talk about what's really going on in the world.
- 34:03And here's a story from Bloomberg.
- 34:05The world's biggest energy traders are returning to the
- 34:09metals. The world's biggest energy
- 34:12traders. Vital.
- 34:13I've never heard of these companies.
- 34:15Goonvor and Mercuria are all building metals teams.
- 34:21Metals. That would mean gold, silver,
- 34:24copper, platinum, Palladium, right?
- 34:26Maybe aluminum, whatever. But gold and silver?
- 34:30Definitely. Energy traders have massive
- 34:34amounts of capital after posting bumper profits.
- 34:38Bloomberg Metals. Some of the world's biggest
- 34:42energy trading companies are returning to metals years after
- 34:47getting burnt. Years after getting burnt in the
- 34:53notoriously difficult markets. Vitale Group, Goonvar Group,
- 34:57Mercuria Group are among the traders building out their
- 35:00metals teams as they look to deploy capital generated by
- 35:05record profits. OK, shocking, shocking.
- 35:10These are the biggest right commodity traders.
- 35:14Focusing now on metals #1, #2, the metals market is so darn
- 35:20small, we get some big money players, and these are the guys.
- 35:24Look, we've never heard of them. That's a good thing, right?
- 35:26And they're the big, big guys in the commodity sector, right?
- 35:31Other people will follow. It's not going to take much
- 35:35money coming in to the gold and silver sector for massive I mean
- 35:41massive potential. Potential, no crystal ball,
- 35:44don't make any financial decisions.
- 35:46But I'm telling you massive potential gains to be had.
- 35:50We talked about the bricks earlier.
- 35:52How do you how do you think the the United States your country
- 35:55Canada, most of you are joining me.
- 35:57Are you joining me from AG 7 country?
- 36:00All right, we're going to find out.
- 36:02OK, but we're going to compare. We know that these BRICS
- 36:05countries, Brazil, Russia, India, China, South Africa,
- 36:10Iran, Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Ethiopia and the United Arab
- 36:13Emirates, all ten of them, soon to be 1520.
- 36:17Who knows? We're hearing more and more.
- 36:19Somebody told me something about Argentina.
- 36:22I don't have any definite news on that, but somebody told me
- 36:25there was some movement with Argentina and the BRICS.
- 36:28Anyway, like I told you, Andy Schechtman and I talked
- 36:32yesterday. The bricks are moving.
- 36:34I mean the the it's happening right now.
- 36:37The D dollarization. But how do their economies
- 36:41compare to ours? I've got let's let's look at a
- 36:43visual here that I think is going to drive it home for you
- 36:47again. From Boroni Boronoi and my
- 36:50friend Sean, my college roommate.
- 36:52He loves sending me these things and I love showing them to you.
- 36:55This is the G7. That would be you if you live in
- 36:59the United States, Canada, Japan, France, Italy, UK or
- 37:02Germany. And the bricks real GDP growth
- 37:06forecast for this year 2024. OK, look at the G7. the United
- 37:11States. Oh, well, we have bionomics.
- 37:14What could you expect? Less, right, 2.7%.
- 37:18But look at these growth rates. Let's go down here to the
- 37:21bricks. Interesting.
- 37:25Oh, do you notice something? Here, let me make that a little
- 37:28smaller for you so you can see it better.
- 37:32Where'd it go? There it is.
- 37:35There we go. OK.
- 37:39There. Look at the BRICS countries that
- 37:42I just named off for you. OK, look, how much India's
- 37:46economy 7%. China.
- 37:48Almost 5%. Yes, I'm rounding up United Arab
- 37:51Emirates, Iran, Russia. Wait a minute.
- 37:56I thought the Russians were the ruble was rubble.
- 38:00Oh my gosh. And in Egypt, 3% in Ethiopia.
- 38:04So like 7 out of the 10 BRICS countries have higher projected
- 38:11for 2024 economic growth than any of the G7 countries, with
- 38:17the United States being in the lead at 2.7.
- 38:20Saudi Arabia's barely behind. Brazil is a little bit behind,
- 38:24right? But but but bigger than seven of
- 38:27the Are six of the 7G7 South Africa's the only country.
- 38:30What does this tell us about the balance of power, about the D
- 38:36dollarization, about what could happen to silver?
- 38:40Look at these. Think about these countries.
- 38:42Think about silver and gold. We know India imported 70
- 38:45million ounces of silver, 10% of the world's mine output, in one
- 38:49month in February this year. We know China is basically
- 38:53sucking in all the world's gold and silver.
- 38:56We know they're crazy about gold and silver in the UAE.
- 38:59I imagine Iran, right? We know Russia how they how they
- 39:03value. We know what their finance
- 39:04ministers are saying Egypt. We know what went on there with
- 39:08inflation and what they're doing.
- 39:10I mean Brazil, major gold producer.
- 39:12South Africa, major gold producer.
- 39:14I'm not sure about Ethiopia, but I know there's gold in that
- 39:17region. Guys, this is changing and it is
- 39:20going to be absolutely crazy as we as we move on, we got a lot
- 39:25more to talk about. OK, hold on here.
- 39:28Let's turn the page. How's everybody doing today?
- 39:31Yeah, Metal Sears. Talking about stagflation, I've
- 39:35got, I've got good news for you. If you're invested in precious
- 39:39metal mining stocks, if you're invested in silver or gold, we
- 39:43are in a stagflationary environment.
- 39:46You know what? Metal sear.
- 39:48I wasn't going to bring them out today, but let's open.
- 39:51All right. And I'm going to show you
- 39:53visually. There's our friend Jerome.
- 39:55He's in a box. He can't raise rates because all
- 39:58the debt of the world will explode.
- 40:01OK. He can't lower rates because
- 40:03inflation will explode. He's going to be dealing with an
- 40:07A recession on one side and inflation on the other.
- 40:12That is stagflation, right? The solution, of course, is, as
- 40:17we showed many times, silver and gold.
- 40:19There's a little slot there we can put the money in.
- 40:22He's in a box. He's in a box and he's been
- 40:25neutered. Why do you think think about
- 40:28this? Why do you think that the Fed is
- 40:30more focused on public relations than they are on real monetary
- 40:36policy? Because they are up a Creek
- 40:38without a paddle. In that Creek is called
- 40:41stagflation, real loss in value in the US dollar.
- 40:47Is this thing lost value? Since you since you've been
- 40:50alive, I'm going to ask you that question, right?
- 40:52Has this lost value? Maybe you're my age, 54, Maybe
- 40:56you're 34. Maybe you're 84.
- 40:58Maybe you're, I don't know how old you are.
- 41:02We're all kids at heart. Has this lost value since you've
- 41:06been around? I imagine you answered yes.
- 41:11When you look at what's going on right now, OK, Domestically in
- 41:16the United States, fiscal monetary policy, economically,
- 41:19distribution of wealth. Right.
- 41:22Just domestically in the United States, the world's biggest
- 41:25economy, right? Exceptional.
- 41:27Yeah. Exceptional at racking up
- 41:29unbelievable amounts of debt on a government, corporate and
- 41:32household level. Nonetheless, do you do you see
- 41:37right. Think one more time since you've
- 41:39been alive. What has this done?
- 41:41Well, when I was a, this was a pretty big deal to me.
- 41:44In 1980, I could go get 4 candy bars and a soda, right?
- 41:48What can I do with it now? I can't even get a candy bar
- 41:52right. It's lost value.
- 41:54Do you think, when you look at the situation we're in now, and
- 41:57that's what Andy Scheckman said yesterday, we're in a more
- 42:00precarious situation now, right? Things have been escalated,
- 42:04things are happening more quickly.
- 42:06Do you think that in the next 10 years, right, that we aren't
- 42:10going to see massive, this recession and this inflation,
- 42:17and that's stagflation and that is the most fertile soil, the
- 42:20most fertile environment that you could ever ask for for the
- 42:24gold price and silver price? Overspending by our government
- 42:27is feeding structural inflation. Gold and silver know this. the
- 42:31Fed can't raise rates or lower rates.
- 42:33We have a debt problem, an inflation problem.
- 42:36Think about this. We got a debt problem and we've
- 42:41got an inflation problem. We got more problems too.
- 42:46We got a bubble in the residential real estate market
- 42:50and we probably still have somewhat of a bubble in the bond
- 42:53market and the commercial real estate market.
- 42:56Think about the situation that we're in.
- 42:58OK, markets are high, what a stock market and definitely a
- 43:03bubble, right, Silver and gold. This goes back to that decade
- 43:08chart which which asset class over performed during different
- 43:12decades. Hold on a second, somebody's
- 43:14texting me. I'll see who it is and then
- 43:18we're gonna, we're gonna, we're gonna.
- 43:22I tell you, having 12 year old twin daughters is quite an
- 43:25adventure especially when they have their own phones
- 43:27nonetheless. Nonetheless, all those asset
- 43:30classes, right we are gonna see a rotation the R word rotation
- 43:35and then I got information from Peter Grandich.
- 43:39Been a little bit of a theme lately on the show.
- 43:41Are you ready for retirement? I'm asking you a question.
- 43:45But first, we're going to see a rotation out of financial
- 43:53financialized assets, things that did so well when there was
- 43:57free money everywhere, right into real assets.
- 44:01That's what we got coming. Let's see what Peter Grandage
- 44:04had to say here about retirement.
- 44:08This was shocking to me. OK, only 2% of people have more
- 44:15than $1 million safer retirement.
- 44:18Why that milestone matters. OK And then Peter says this the
- 44:22financial. The financial service industry
- 44:25doesn't want this fact to be widely known because it would
- 44:31ruin their facade that many Americans retirement needs will
- 44:34be met if you just entrust your finances to them.
- 44:39Don't be a fool, $1,000,000 saved now is the bare minimum
- 44:44amount for retirement as we speak and only 2%.
- 44:48One in 50 people meet that starting level.
- 44:52With 65% of Americans working paycheck to paycheck, many will
- 45:00never come close. Sadly, This is why a quote UN
- 45:04quote retirement and aging crisis is #2 on my 5 factors of
- 45:09why you must build a financial arc ASAP.
- 45:12Guys, 2% of people are we headed for disaster in this country?
- 45:18Where do you stack up? I know where you stack up.
