Deacon Aaron Poyer shares his vocation story
Deacon Aaron Poyer has been with Most Holy Trinity and the Basilica of Ste. Anne since July 2023. He previously served at Corpus Christi in Detroit since his ordination in 2019. Deacon Aaron is a retired law enforcement officer of 35 years. After his retirement, he accepted a position with the Archdiocese of Detroit serving as Delegate for Consecrated Life & Priestly Mission. He and his wife Julie serve together on the Diaconate Formation Team and the Deacon Community Board.
