- 1:00Speaker 2: Hello and welcome to Juicy Scoop. We've got a juicy
- 1:03Speaker 2: one for you today. I have a top podcaster and
- 1:05Speaker 2: dear friend of mine, mother of five, wife, sister, aunt,
- 1:09Speaker 2: blonde delight from the OC. Yes, it's Kate Casey with
- 1:13Speaker 2: Reality Life with Kate Casey is my guest. Girl, thanks
- 1:17Speaker 2: for driving out.
- 1:18Speaker 4: Hey, happy to be here.
- 1:19Speaker 2: Dropped off that one kid and came straight.
- 1:22Speaker 4: Straight down the highway.
- 1:23Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 1:24Speaker 4: Straight down the highway. Happy to be here.
- 1:26Speaker 2: Thank you. We've been friends for so long. And I'm
- 1:30Speaker 2: trying to remember how you had a hilarious blog that
- 1:34Speaker 2: you would write recaps of Real Housewives episodes on. Like
- 1:39Speaker 2: a cliff note, but of a Shakespearean play. Yes.
- 1:43Speaker 4: And I would add stuff to it that didn't happen.
- 1:45Speaker 2: And I just thought it was so funny. And somehow
- 1:47Speaker 2: you wrote me or I saw it. I was like,
- 1:50Speaker 2: this is hilarious. And then we started talking. Yeah.
- 1:53Speaker 4: And I came to your show.
- 1:54Speaker 2: Okay.
- 1:55Speaker 4: You had a show in the OC.
- 1:56Speaker 2: Okay, great.
- 1:57Speaker 4: And then I came down and then we just kind
- 1:59Speaker 4: of started talking. And then I went to Juicy Scoop.
- 2:02Speaker 4: You had me on to talk about housewives.
- 2:05Speaker 2: Yes.
- 2:05Speaker 4: And then I was talking to you about how, like,
- 2:09Speaker 4: what do I do beyond this blog?
- 2:10Speaker 2: Yeah, you're like, why? How do I get more people
- 2:12Speaker 2: to read this blog? And I'm like, why don't you
- 2:14Speaker 2: just do your blog, but as a podcast? Yeah. Because
- 2:18Speaker 2: that's where it's at. And I think people are lazy
- 2:20Speaker 2: and they're not into reading anymore.
- 2:22Speaker 4: That was true. And that was like seven, eight years ago.
- 2:25Speaker 2: Yes. Yeah.
- 2:26Speaker 4: Long time.
- 2:27Speaker 2: We are good friends. We are talk on the phone friends.
- 2:31Speaker 2: And I thoroughly enjoy you. And thank you for coming
- 2:33Speaker 2: out because we have a lot to discuss. But first,
- 2:36Speaker 2: I need to tell you. since you're a housewife person,
- 2:39Speaker 2: and reality TV people with reality life.
- 2:41Speaker 4: Oh, yeah, right up my alley.
- 2:42Speaker 2: I went to Variety's Women of Reality TV event. It
- 2:48Speaker 2: was this past Wednesday, and it was at Spago, and
- 2:53Speaker 2: it was really, really fun.
- 2:54Speaker 4: I like Spago.
- 2:55Speaker 2: It was really nice. So they had all the tables,
- 2:58Speaker 2: and then the front, they had three different panels. And
- 3:02Speaker 2: there was some juicy stuff that came out with the panel.
- 3:04Speaker 2: But first, as I was walking into the dining room,
- 3:07Speaker 2: My heart skipped a beat because I saw Christine from
- 3:10Speaker 2: Sister Wives.
- 3:12Speaker 4: In my opinion, she's the most powerful woman in reality
- 3:15Speaker 4: television right now. I agree. I really do.
- 3:19Speaker 2: And she, I said, I have been writing you and
- 3:23Speaker 2: I know people sometimes don't see DMs or whatever, but
- 3:25Speaker 2: I'm like, I would die to have you on Juicy Scoop.
- 3:28Speaker 2: And she said, oh, are you the Heather from Juicy Scoop?
- 3:31Speaker 2: My husband has said that. So the husband is up
- 3:34Speaker 2: on it and we want to get her here I
- 3:38Speaker 2: mean I would do I would go I think I'd
- 3:41Speaker 2: like don't.
- 3:41Speaker 4: You think she wants to leave Utah just tell her
- 3:44Speaker 4: she can come to SoCal yeah we'll get you a
- 3:47Speaker 4: bus and we'll just take you on a tour Of
- 3:50Speaker 4: all the sites. You know, she seems like she'd be fine.
- 3:54Speaker 2: She's real fine.
- 3:54Speaker 4: Bar hop.
- 3:55Speaker 2: And I go, my mouth has been dropping during this
- 3:58Speaker 2: last reunion of talking about sister wives. And unbelievable. And
- 4:05Speaker 2: I just saw a clip of something else where now
- 4:08Speaker 2: Mary is talking. Mary's wife number one. Yes. And she's
- 4:13Speaker 2: not happy with Christine anymore. No, she said it's Christine.
- 4:18Speaker 2: She's like, I really didn't want her to tell the story.
- 4:20Speaker 2: But basically, it seems like a lot is being cracked
- 4:23Speaker 2: open about once they went public, a.k.a. got the reality show,
- 4:28Speaker 2: what was hidden and what was acted. And it sounds
- 4:32Speaker 2: like Cody acted for many years. Like he actually was
- 4:36Speaker 2: still in love with Mary and was still into a
- 4:38Speaker 2: relationship with Mary. When now we know that never was
- 4:41Speaker 2: the case because even before the show started to air,
- 4:44Speaker 2: he melted down.
- 4:46Speaker 4: Melted it down.
- 4:47Speaker 2: Melted down the wedding ring that he exchanged and received
- 4:51Speaker 2: from Mary at their actual wedding since she was the
- 4:54Speaker 2: only person he was really married to. Yeah.
- 4:56Speaker 4: No, he completely fabricated his feelings about for the sake
- 5:01Speaker 4: of the show.
- 5:02Speaker 2: For 14 years now or whatever, how many years it's been.
- 5:05Speaker 4: I think he probably is at heart a monogamist and
- 5:08Speaker 4: always has been that way. But he saw the opportunity
- 5:11Speaker 4: to maybe not work in some office and could get
- 5:14Speaker 4: a TV show. So he didn't have to work because
- 5:18Speaker 4: it seems like all he does is drive from one
- 5:20Speaker 4: house to the other. He never has a job.
- 5:21Speaker 2: In that convertible, that Lexus white convertible. Yeah.
- 5:24Speaker 4: All the other women worked. And he just kind of
- 5:27Speaker 4: like went from house to house.
- 5:29Speaker 2: I don't, nobody really knows what his other, I don't
- 5:32Speaker 2: think you're right. I don't think, I think his job
- 5:34Speaker 2: was the reality show. Internet marketing. Yeah. And also something
- 5:37Speaker 2: with like gun shows and stuff I heard. Yeah.
- 5:40Speaker 4: I think he did gun sales for a little bit,
- 5:41Speaker 4: but I don't know if he still does that. He
- 5:43Speaker 4: doesn't strike me as somebody.
- 5:45Speaker 2: Who works very hard.
- 5:46Speaker 4: I have also reason to believe that he and his wife, Robin,
- 5:49Speaker 4: the one he pretty much lives with. I think they're,
- 5:52Speaker 4: perpetual spenders and hoarders.
- 5:55Speaker 2: Totally.
- 5:55Speaker 4: Because you never see anything filmed in their home.
- 5:58Speaker 6: Right.
- 5:59Speaker 4: It must be just stacked with boxes.
- 6:01Speaker 2: The few times they've shown things, people like Sluice have
- 6:04Speaker 2: pointed out, there's a new picture. There's a tiny part
- 6:07Speaker 2: on the wall that's bare, and then she gets something
- 6:09Speaker 2: to fill it. Yes. She's definitely, and I think the
- 6:12Speaker 2: adult kids have related to that. So I'm very happy
- 6:16Speaker 2: to see that Christine is out and gone.
- 6:17Speaker 4: Me too.
- 6:18Speaker 2: And the show is going to continue. which it will
- 6:22Speaker 2: be interesting to see now the true aftermath now that
- 6:24Speaker 2: like all the lies or nobody's pretending anymore. And let's
- 6:29Speaker 2: see what happens. And they'll, I guess, just be filming
- 6:31Speaker 2: at several different locations.
- 6:33Speaker 4: And by locations, you mean fire pits outside. That's the
- 6:36Speaker 4: only place that they film. I think the really interesting
- 6:40Speaker 4: part is the way the kids, how they communicate. Because
- 6:44Speaker 4: Robin's daughters, who seem like zombies, They go to the
- 6:48Speaker 4: same school as some of the other kids, but the
- 6:50Speaker 4: mothers don't speak to each other.
- 6:52Speaker 2: And when Robin, it's so weird, too, because in seeing
- 6:57Speaker 2: the adult kids now be on the couch with all
- 7:00Speaker 2: of them, they look and act so much like both
- 7:03Speaker 2: the parents. Some of them look very much like Cody.
- 7:05Speaker 2: Some of them look exactly like Janelle, like. And Christine's daughters, too,
- 7:09Speaker 2: sometimes have the same cadence of the voice.
- 7:12Speaker 4: Yes.
- 7:12Speaker 2: And so that's kind of like, as people that have
- 7:15Speaker 2: watched reality TV for a long time, we're like, wow,
- 7:17Speaker 2: this is truly a second generation, which is really kind
- 7:20Speaker 2: of bizarre to watch. And the Robin daughters are the
- 7:23Speaker 2: same fake criers, no offense.
- 7:25Speaker 4: Same fake criers.
- 7:29Speaker 2: I wanted to sit on the porch. With my sister-in-law.
- 7:35Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 7:37Speaker 2: How could this have happened? Why can't Mary stay? Even
- 7:41Speaker 2: though I never see her, I don't let her around
- 7:43Speaker 2: my kids. But Cody and her should try to work
- 7:49Speaker 2: it out.
- 7:50Speaker 4: Now, do you think, actually, that she gives a shit
- 7:53Speaker 4: about living a polygamous life?
- 7:55Speaker 2: In terms of which one? Robin?
- 7:57Speaker 4: Like, having all these sister wives? Or do you think
- 7:59Speaker 4: she just married him because she wanted to get away
- 8:01Speaker 4: from the ex and this was an opportunity to be
- 8:04Speaker 4: a TV star?
- 8:05Speaker 2: I think it was all of it. Yeah. I think she...
- 8:08Speaker 2: did like him. I think they had sexual chemistry. I
- 8:12Speaker 2: think she was like, I don't care if he sleeps
- 8:14Speaker 2: with these other women, because she kind of knew. And
- 8:17Speaker 2: I'm the newest and the cutest. And he probably told
- 8:21Speaker 2: her too, I really don't sleep with Mary or Christine.
- 8:26Speaker 2: And I think he always screwed Janelle because he said
- 8:29Speaker 2: I was a boy toy to her. So I think
- 8:32Speaker 2: they had like a little freaky deaky, like friends benefits
- 8:35Speaker 2: kind of a thing. And I just think she really
- 8:39Speaker 2: didn't care about that. And she was smart enough to
- 8:41Speaker 2: know that, like, I'm younger. So I'm going to have
- 8:44Speaker 2: kids past when they are. And I'm going to be
- 8:48Speaker 2: the queen anyway. But I really thought, I really think
- 8:51Speaker 2: she liked having the nights alone with him not being there.
- 8:55Speaker 2: She liked to watch what she wanted on TV. She
- 8:58Speaker 2: was financially taken care of. Those other women were working.
- 9:01Speaker 4: Order stuff online.
- 9:02Speaker 2: Yeah. She did not want him around all the time.
- 9:05Speaker 2: And also, this is what her plan really was, was
- 9:09Speaker 2: to be sitting on the porch, having all these people,
- 9:10Speaker 2: the show to go forever, her to be Queen Bee. So, yeah,
- 9:16Speaker 2: I think she is really bummed about it.
- 9:18Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 9:19Speaker 2: And I also feel she knows that if he's gotten
- 9:23Speaker 2: rid of all these women, there's going to be a
- 9:25Speaker 2: time where he might tire of her too. Or, plot twist,
- 9:29Speaker 2: I think three years from now, prediction, it just came.
- 9:33Speaker 4: There's going to be another woman.
- 9:35Speaker 2: No, she leaves him.
- 9:37Speaker 4: She may leave him if the money dries up because
- 9:40Speaker 4: I think she likes spending money more than she likes him.
- 9:44Speaker 2: Yes.
- 9:45Speaker 4: But I also think he loves being a TV star
- 9:47Speaker 4: more than he loves her. So if he thinks the
- 9:51Speaker 4: show can only continue to exist if he finds another wife,
- 9:54Speaker 4: he will find one.
- 9:56Speaker 2: And she might, yeah, and she'll say, I'm okay with that. too.
- 10:00Speaker 2: I don't think she'll really be jealous about it. She'll
- 10:02Speaker 2: be like, good, I don't want to, I'm tired of
- 10:04Speaker 2: screwing you. Now she's getting closer to 50.
- 10:06Speaker 4: Do you think that they get it on a.
- 10:08Speaker 7: Lot?
- 10:09Speaker 2: I do, but I don't even think she's into it.
- 10:10Speaker 7: Right.
- 10:11Speaker 2: I think it's like my wifely duty. Right. Anyway, dying
- 10:14Speaker 2: to get her on the show. Then I saw Rachel
- 10:17Speaker 2: Lindsay on Former Bachelorette.
- 10:19Speaker 5: Yes.
- 10:20Speaker 2: Turned reporter and now podcaster of Higher Learning. So she
- 10:24Speaker 2: was part of being honored for people that have gone
- 10:27Speaker 2: on to have podcasts that do well. And Karyana Naba
- 10:31Speaker 2: was there.
- 10:31Speaker 4: Oh, yeah.
- 10:32Speaker 2: Of Dancing with the Stars. And she said a really
- 10:33Speaker 2: interesting thing on the panel.
- 10:35Speaker 7: Okay.
- 10:35Speaker 2: She said, I feel, and she got emotional talking about it.
- 10:40Speaker 2: I get a lot more criticism for my opinion of
- 10:45Speaker 2: the dancers of Dancing with the Stars from fans who
- 10:49Speaker 2: are mostly female fans than the men.
- 10:50Speaker 4: Welcome to our world, Keri.
- 10:52Speaker 2: Than the men.
- 10:53Speaker 4: Welcome to our world, friend.
- 10:54Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 10:55Speaker 4: Let's start a gang.
- 10:56Speaker 5: Yep.
- 10:57Speaker 2: Yeah. Why my opinion is more scrutinized than when the
- 11:02Speaker 2: men say you didn't dip far enough or whatever. And
- 11:05Speaker 2: I went to her and I said, I'm so glad
- 11:07Speaker 2: you said that. It's so true.
- 11:09Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 11:09Speaker 2: And I don't know why women.
- 11:12Speaker 2: Are like that about other women. I don't know why
- 11:14Speaker 2: they don't see the need to want to support each
- 11:17Speaker 2: other more yet when it's a man.
- 11:20Speaker 4: When you would think the reaction would be, it's a sisterhood.
- 11:24Speaker 2: Right.
- 11:26Speaker 4: It's something like if somebody comes against your family. It's like,
- 11:30Speaker 4: I can say that about my own family, but you can't.
- 11:32Speaker 2: Right.
- 11:33Speaker 4: That should be the theory about any sort of criticism
- 11:38Speaker 4: or review of a show or of a dancer. It's like,
- 11:41Speaker 4: only I can do it. But somehow men are able
- 11:45Speaker 4: to give their opinions and without anyone being upset.
- 11:48Speaker 2: Right.
- 11:49Speaker 4: It's a strange vortex that we live in. Right.
- 11:51Speaker 2: And so many men have entered the realm of talking
- 11:56Speaker 2: about housewives and all of that, which they have every
- 11:59Speaker 2: right to do and lots, you know, they have fun,
- 12:01Speaker 2: different opinions or whatever. But, you know... I think what
- 12:06Speaker 2: makes it interesting when you and I talk about it
- 12:08Speaker 2: is because the reason I've always been attracted to it
- 12:10Speaker 2: is because we are women. We can relate to not
- 12:14Speaker 2: having a problem with a sister-in-law, a wedding situation, inviting
- 12:17Speaker 2: this person or not, your kids doing this, you're fighting
- 12:21Speaker 2: with your husband.
- 12:23Speaker 4: All of that we've lived through. Managing marriages, children, postpartum,
- 12:29Speaker 4: all these little nuances that we have a unique view
- 12:32Speaker 4: into you would think that our opinions would be valued
- 12:36Speaker 4: but sometimes they're not and it's maddening yeah maddening yes
- 12:40Speaker 4: so i get it carrie the.
- 12:42Speaker 2: Car is beautiful where did you end up going for it.
- 12:45Speaker 3: This exclusive place that data's connections with they have more
- 12:48Speaker 3: cars for more dealerships than like anywhere.
- 12:50Speaker 2: Else you have to put me in touch what's it
- 12:52Speaker 2: called it's.
- 12:53Speaker 3: Dune adl where dune adl there's an accent on the e.
- 13:00Speaker 2: Do you mean.
- 13:01Speaker 3: Yes, I got it on Done Deal Cars.
- 13:03Speaker 2: Lift, please. You're going past Kimmage.
- 13:05Speaker 4: Oh, Kimmage.
- 13:07Speaker 2: No.
- 13:08Speaker 3: Done Deal Cars. You couldn't possibly go anywhere else.
- 13:12Speaker 5: I'm Darman, and this is What Happens Next. Each week
- 13:15Speaker 5: on the show, I sit down with extraordinary people who
- 13:18Speaker 5: have faced tremendous setbacks, and yet somehow have found a
- 13:22Speaker 5: way to turn them into their greatest strengths.
- 13:25Speaker 3: Life is one long lesson of chaos.
- 13:28Speaker 6: I'm heading to the Emmys, and I have police complaints
- 13:31Speaker 6: filed against me. When your free will was about to
- 13:33Speaker 6: be taken from you, what would you do if it
- 13:35Speaker 6: was given back?
- 13:36Speaker 7: Where did that need come from where you thought that
- 13:39Speaker 7: you had to succeed in order to feel loved?
- 13:41Speaker 2: He said, I have a work dad.
- 13:43Speaker 5: I need a home dad.
- 13:44Speaker 7: What happens next?
- 13:45Speaker 2: When I came in, he started crying.
- 13:46Speaker 7: Everybody in life encounters hardships. What defines them is not
- 13:51Speaker 7: those hard moments that they go through. It's about what
- 13:54Speaker 7: happens next.
- 13:55Speaker 4: I decided to risk it all.
- 13:56Speaker 2: I realized how valuable every day was.
- 13:58Speaker 3: You're worth the work.
- 13:59Speaker 6: Listen, Dara, I'm not going to pull punches.
- 14:01Speaker 3: You can use your voice even if it's shaped.
- 14:03Speaker 5: The stories are different, but the impact is the same.
- 14:07Speaker 5: Only one question matters. What happens next?
- 14:17Speaker 2: So she was great on the panel. So this was
- 14:19Speaker 2: like one of the panels zoomed in here. And JWoww
- 14:23Speaker 2: was on, and I thought she said a great thing. Okay.
- 14:25Speaker 2: So one of the questions that the moderator asked was like,
- 14:30Speaker 2: you know, you give so much of your life. And
- 14:32Speaker 2: it was a lot about that. And a lot of
- 14:34Speaker 2: the women up there were kind of saying like, yes,
- 14:37Speaker 2: this part is really hard. You know, and when you
- 14:41Speaker 2: realize you can't hide something, but then the benefit is
- 14:44Speaker 2: that by putting it out there, you can benefit so
- 14:47Speaker 2: many people that are watching at home. And so with JWoww,
- 14:50Speaker 2: her son has autism. Oh, okay. And so she was like,
- 14:54Speaker 2: I knew as he was a nonverbal two-year-old, as he
- 14:58Speaker 2: got into being later two and the cameras were back
- 15:01Speaker 2: in the house, I knew that people, moms, would start
- 15:05Speaker 2: to notice and question. And I didn't want to be
- 15:07Speaker 2: that mom that was like, that the camera made it
- 15:10Speaker 2: look like I was in denial about my son's prognosis.
- 15:14Speaker 2: And I wanted to show what early diagnosis can do
- 15:16Speaker 2: and help in all of that. And I think from
- 15:19Speaker 2: what I recall is that was part of, which is
- 15:21Speaker 2: a common thing with, with mothers and their husbands when
- 15:24Speaker 2: they don't agree with the diagnosis.
- 15:26Speaker 4: Of a child.
- 15:28Speaker 2: I don't know if that's what broke up her marriage,
- 15:29Speaker 2: but I kind of remember that might've been a strong
- 15:31Speaker 2: part of it. So she's like, so then my divorce
- 15:34Speaker 2: was on there and everything. So I thought she came
- 15:36Speaker 2: off great into how many people she's helped with that,
- 15:39Speaker 2: which is so important. Important.
- 15:41Speaker 4: Really important.
- 15:42Speaker 2: Yeah. So she was great. Candy was great. Candy from Atlanta. She,
- 15:49Speaker 2: one thing that she said was, it was like, what
- 15:51Speaker 2: was the worst moment? And she's like, when we were,
- 15:54Speaker 2: when we, when I was accused with my husband, On
- 15:58Speaker 2: the show of drugging a woman, a cast member, with
- 16:05Speaker 2: the hopes to take sexual advantage of her. And I'm like.
- 16:09Speaker 4: How do you ever get past that? I can't.
- 16:13Speaker 2: I mean, I remember, you know, that's where she goes,
- 16:15Speaker 2: the lies! You know, that's a famous moment. And, like,
- 16:18Speaker 2: Peter's sitting there with me and he's like, what? And
- 16:21Speaker 2: I'm like, yeah. And so I went up to her
- 16:23Speaker 2: after and I'm like, I'm really glad that you... Don't
- 16:27Speaker 2: just brush over that. Bring it up for the rest
- 16:29Speaker 2: of your life. Because as someone that has had lies
- 16:32Speaker 2: and shit told about me publicly, and till the day
- 16:36Speaker 2: I die, there's gonna be one person in my comments
- 16:39Speaker 2: that are like, I don't believe you or this or that.
- 16:42Speaker 2: It's happened to me a few times. Nothing as bad
- 16:44Speaker 2: as this, but bad. Calling me a thief and everything.
- 16:47Speaker 2: And even though I proved it without a doubt, it's like,
- 16:52Speaker 2: you still wanna shout it from the rooftops because you're like,
- 16:54Speaker 2: it didn't happen. And I don't want anyone to like
- 16:57Speaker 2: watch an old episode and then not watch the follow-up
- 17:00Speaker 2: episodes and think that.
- 17:02Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 17:03Speaker 2: And so she was great. And then I talked to
- 17:08Speaker 2: her after and I go, I can't believe Drew didn't
- 17:09Speaker 2: come to BravoCon.
- 17:12Speaker 4: Not good.
- 17:13Speaker 2: And she's like, yeah, especially because there's all this talk
- 17:16Speaker 2: of them replacing people and whatnot. And I said, I
- 17:19Speaker 2: want to see. You better show up. I go, how
- 17:22Speaker 2: would you feel about Kim Zolciak coming back? Because I
- 17:25Speaker 2: want to see what's going on in her life. They
- 17:27Speaker 2: get back together. They're breaking up. She's a gambler. She's not,
- 17:29Speaker 2: you know, she's a gambler, but then he doesn't make
- 17:32Speaker 2: money and they hate each other. They love each other.
- 17:34Speaker 2: She's doing fake clickbait about her daughter being pregnant when
- 17:37Speaker 2: she's not. And, you know, because she's desperate for money
- 17:40Speaker 2: and selling her, you know, old shoes, whatever. I'm like,
- 17:44Speaker 2: get the cameras. Why give that to anybody else but Bravo?
- 17:48Speaker 2: And she was like, tell them.
- 17:51Speaker 4: I feel like they will bring her back. I mean,
- 17:54Speaker 4: if they brought her back. The Bravo audience really likes nostalgia.
- 17:57Speaker 4: And I think they love to circle. That's the great
- 17:59Speaker 4: thing about reality shows. If you watch a scripted show,
- 18:01Speaker 4: you know, this is us. That character in that period
- 18:05Speaker 4: of time is suspended there.
- 18:08Speaker 2: Right.
- 18:08Speaker 4: But with reality shows, we can continue keep following all
- 18:11Speaker 4: of their lives. Years and years after the Keogh kids
- 18:14Speaker 4: in Orange County or. you know, Kim Zolciak's family. And
- 18:19Speaker 4: this is just another chapter that I think is wildly fascinating.
- 18:23Speaker 4: Why would they not want to cover it? Also, because
- 18:25Speaker 4: it's not her own show anymore, she doesn't have as
- 18:28Speaker 4: much control. And I think you're going to have a
- 18:30Speaker 4: much more authentic story.
- 18:32Speaker 2: For Kim, you mean? Because it's not the don't be
- 18:34Speaker 2: tardy for the party.
- 18:34Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 18:36Speaker 2: I find Kim fascinating. And I would totally love to
- 18:40Speaker 2: see this, whatever it is, whether she becomes really raw,
- 18:43Speaker 2: whether she's in denial, whether She changes over the course of...
- 18:47Speaker 2: But 100%. And what I love about Candy is that
- 18:50Speaker 2: through all these franchises and Bravo cons and everything, you know,
- 18:54Speaker 2: two women love each other and they hate each other
- 18:56Speaker 2: and they say things like, if that person's filming, then
- 18:59Speaker 2: I won't be in the same room and I don't
- 19:00Speaker 2: want them back and da-da-da. And Candy's like, you know,
- 19:04Speaker 2: with that Candy face, I don't care. Like, no, she
- 19:06Speaker 2: doesn't really care. Like, she'll get in there and call
- 19:10Speaker 2: you out, but... She's smart enough and she's so above
- 19:15Speaker 2: it that it doesn't matter who they put on that
- 19:17Speaker 2: cast with her. She will engage, be authentic, and always,
- 19:23Speaker 2: in my opinion, always be worldwide on top candy.
- 19:26Speaker 4: Well, I think that's why production loves her is because
- 19:28Speaker 4: she had a career that preceded this.
- 19:30Speaker 2: Right.
- 19:30Speaker 4: And I think that's probably the frustration on the production end.
- 19:33Speaker 4: I interview a lot of producers.
- 19:35Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 19:35Speaker 4: And it is frustrating when you work with somebody who's
- 19:39Speaker 4: sort of curated their own persona because they wanted to
- 19:43Speaker 4: be a reality star and they are, as I always say,
- 19:46Speaker 4: plucked from obscurity, right?
- 19:48Speaker 2: They don't- that the reality show producers prefer a candy?
- 19:53Speaker 4: They prefer a candy.
- 19:54Speaker 2: They prefer a candy.
- 19:55Speaker 1: Oh, okay.
- 19:55Speaker 4: Because they're going to show up on time. They understand
- 19:58Speaker 4: it's for the sake of the show. They're a team
- 20:00Speaker 4: player versus someone sometimes who's plucked from obscurity, who doesn't
- 20:04Speaker 4: have some sort of professional background. And then they get
- 20:07Speaker 4: too caught up in the tunnel of what the audience thinks.
- 20:13Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 20:14Speaker 4: I'd rather have a Candy working on my show.
- 20:17Speaker 2: Oh, yeah. As long as Candy will do it, they
- 20:20Speaker 2: should never get rid of Candy for all these reasons.
- 20:22Speaker 2: She's too good for the show. She's too good for
- 20:25Speaker 2: the show. I don't want her to ever leave. And
- 20:26Speaker 2: I think she should continue on. I mean, if she
- 20:30Speaker 2: made it past this lie and proved it, I don't
- 20:32Speaker 2: think people will ever fuck with her again. Because she
- 20:35Speaker 2: proved it and- You know, and have fun with her.
- 20:39Speaker 2: Enjoy her. She can be a great friend to you. But, yeah,
- 20:42Speaker 2: if you piss her off, though, you're going to get
- 20:45Speaker 2: the candy. You're going to get the pool. Let me
- 20:49Speaker 2: see who else. And then, of course, Kyle was there.
- 20:51Speaker 2: And Kyle was really authentic, too, in talking about how, yeah,
- 20:56Speaker 2: I've been through a lot on this show. I've, you know,
- 20:59Speaker 2: had issues with my sisters and this and that. And
- 21:02Speaker 2: then this thing with my husband, I knew– I wasn't
- 21:07Speaker 2: going to try to like hide it.
- 21:08Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 21:09Speaker 2: And, and I, I mean, I totally believe that. I
- 21:13Speaker 2: don't think, I think when people say, does she use
- 21:15Speaker 2: things for storylines? No, I think someone like her, if
- 21:20Speaker 2: you are going to sign up for this, and this
- 21:21Speaker 2: is why this discussion was really so interesting. If you're
- 21:24Speaker 2: going to sign up for it, you can't hide it.
- 21:27Speaker 2: And she said that she goes, you can't hide it
- 21:29Speaker 2: because not only are there receipts, but the receipts are
- 21:31Speaker 2: on film from episodes that have aired before. So she's like,
- 21:34Speaker 2: so when Sutton was being like, name him, name him,
- 21:38Speaker 2: name him. Kyle, in her head, was seeing the actual
- 21:43Speaker 2: stories that she's viewed back watching the show in which
- 21:48Speaker 2: she did all those things. And just on this last episode, Kyle,
- 21:51Speaker 2: so Kyle has her beautiful dinner party and her pot
- 21:55Speaker 2: dinner party or whatever you want to call it. And
- 21:57Speaker 2: you watched the episode, right? And then they have another discussion,
- 22:00Speaker 2: she and Sutton, after the name him scene. And she's like, well,
- 22:04Speaker 2: I was upset, Kyle, because my husband, my ex-husband Christian,
- 22:09Speaker 2: he just got a huge, a huge promotion. And he
- 22:14Speaker 2: is going to move to London. And he wanted to
- 22:16Speaker 2: bring my son. But my son doesn't want to go.
- 22:21Speaker 2: And Kyle, in my opinion, is smart enough to know
- 22:24Speaker 2: that if your kid is over 13- you know, it's
- 22:28Speaker 2: kind of up to the kid. If the kid wants
- 22:29Speaker 2: to live in London, it's going to be hurtful for you.
- 22:32Speaker 2: But like, but it sounded like the kid didn't. So
- 22:35Speaker 2: quickly she says, the kid's not going, which is the
- 22:37Speaker 2: saddest part of the story. If that was the case,
- 22:39Speaker 2: the kid's not going. And she was okay. So then
- 22:41Speaker 2: cause like, so I get that you were upset, but
- 22:43Speaker 2: you had a happy ending, right? He's not going. And
- 22:46Speaker 2: then she's like, but you know, I, now I have
- 22:50Speaker 2: to get more child support because And we already know
- 22:54Speaker 2: that you get $ 300, 000 tax-free a month. And she goes,
- 22:58Speaker 2: I have to get more because now technically I have
- 23:00Speaker 2: him more percentage of the time. And it's just a
- 23:04Speaker 2: problem to have to go to deal with him legally.
- 23:07Speaker 2: You know she's not going to have to go to court.
- 23:08Speaker 2: It's going to be one call.
- 23:09Speaker 4: One call to the attorneys.
- 23:10Speaker 2: One call to up to $ 375 a month.
- 23:12Speaker 4: I know, but that's why we like that show because
- 23:13Speaker 4: it's completely unrelatable. I mean, listen, reality shows, you and
- 23:17Speaker 4: I love them because it's a study in human behavior.
- 23:20Speaker 5: Yes.
- 23:20Speaker 4: And we're studying the behavior of people who have completely
- 23:24Speaker 4: lost sense of reality because they have such a privileged life. Right.
- 23:28Speaker 4: That's why we like it.
- 23:29Speaker 2: Whether they share a husband with three people.
- 23:32Speaker 5: Totally.
- 23:32Speaker 2: And I believe are the least paid reality people. stars
- 23:36Speaker 2: in the history of reality.
- 23:38Speaker 4: You always have such a good point about that too.
- 23:40Speaker 4: They have been on the show for years and years.
- 23:42Speaker 2: 17 seasons. 17 seasons sister wise.
- 23:43Speaker 4: They didn't get like a different haircut. They didn't get veneers.
- 23:47Speaker 4: They didn't do any of the things that we now
- 23:49Speaker 4: expect of reality stars.
- 23:52Speaker 5: Right.
- 23:52Speaker 4: Maybe they're the ones that keep it real more than anybody.
- 23:55Speaker 2: Well, I mean, I said that. I go, I think, yeah,
- 23:57Speaker 2: like we just see like very, you know, the average home,
- 23:59Speaker 2: a bunch of shit stacked up in the corner, not
- 24:02Speaker 2: even a porter's house. Just, I didn't get to the
- 24:04Speaker 2: mail this week. Like just very real, not.
- 24:07Speaker 5: You know.
- 24:07Speaker 4: Let me ask you this. Are you such a dork
- 24:09Speaker 4: like I am that when Christine broke up with Cody
- 24:12Speaker 4: and they were filming in that little room, did you
- 24:14Speaker 4: look at all the books on the bookshelves?
- 24:16Speaker 2: No, did you zoom in? Oh, yeah. Let me guess
- 24:18Speaker 2: what they were. Okay. Let me guess what they were.
- 24:19Speaker 4: All right.
- 24:20Speaker 2: I think they were a lot of inspirational.
- 24:22Speaker 3: Yes, of course.
- 24:22Speaker 2: Like, God speaks in whispers. A little bit. Kind of
- 24:25Speaker 2: stuff like that. Okay, what was it?
- 24:26Speaker 4: Yeah, like toilet books.
- 24:28Speaker 2: Okay.
- 24:28Speaker 4: Like, you know, inspiration things that, you know, like, keep
- 24:32Speaker 4: it going, girl. That Cheryl author that Reese Witherspoon always
- 24:37Speaker 4: makes for movies. Like, that kind of stuff.
- 24:38Speaker 2: Okay, all right.
- 24:39Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 24:39Speaker 2: All right, good. Okay, getting back to Beverly Hills. So-
- 24:44Speaker 2: Then what I loved is that Kyle– and I didn't
- 24:46Speaker 2: even think about it, but Kyle brings up, well, you've
- 24:49Speaker 2: kind of done a lot, Sutton. You were upset and
- 24:53Speaker 2: saying that we should be sympathetic to you because you
- 24:55Speaker 2: had to sell your one house in Bel Air and
- 24:56Speaker 2: buy another house in Bel Air.
- 24:58Speaker 1: Right.
- 24:59Speaker 2: And then the other one was– There was another one
- 25:03Speaker 2: that she brought up about it just being an extra. Oh,
- 25:05Speaker 2: that you're the day after Dorit's burglary, you were saying
- 25:09Speaker 2: that your Paris designer who designs the berets or whatever,
- 25:13Speaker 2: couldn't get him into the country. And so that you
- 25:15Speaker 2: were going a lot that like, it's always about you
- 25:17Speaker 2: and that you are very disconnected from not just rich people,
- 25:21Speaker 2: but like, Anybody, like even rich people, extremely rich people.
- 25:25Speaker 4: She's not empathetic.
- 25:27Speaker 2: And she has no clue. But that also makes for
- 25:29Speaker 2: a great housewife. And I'm thoroughly enjoying the weirdness of Sutton.
- 25:32Speaker 4: Yeah, absolutely. We need her, protect her at all costs.
- 25:35Speaker 2: And speaking of Beverly Hills, we'll go back to Beverly Hills. Okay,
- 25:37Speaker 2: so let me just finish this variety. So that was
- 25:40Speaker 2: really fun. So I loved that. And then Teresa was
- 25:44Speaker 2: there and Heather Gay, who I talked to, but they
- 25:49Speaker 2: were not on a panel. So they're taking lots of photos.
- 25:52Speaker 2: Here I am with Heather Gay. She told me that
- 25:55Speaker 2: she wasn't happy with the way I covered the black guy.
- 26:00Speaker 4: Which guy?
- 26:01Speaker 2: Her black eye. Her black eye, not black guy.
- 26:04Speaker 7: Oh.
- 26:06Speaker 2: You're like, what juicy part in Housewives?
- 26:08Speaker 4: I was like, what part did I miss?
- 26:10Speaker 2: No, the black eye.
- 26:10Speaker 4: She didn't like, but why?
- 26:12Speaker 2: Honestly, I cover so much. I don't remember. But even
- 26:16Speaker 2: when I'm friends with the people.
- 26:17Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 26:18Speaker 2: If I'm watching the show.
- 26:19Speaker 4: You're watching the show.
- 26:20Speaker 2: And I know that it's edited and everything. And I
- 26:22Speaker 2: do feel bad because we have– I've gone to Beauty Lab.
- 26:26Speaker 2: We've hung out one night. You know, we've talked about
- 26:29Speaker 2: our kids getting married and being grandma-huthers together. So I
- 26:31Speaker 2: do thoroughly like her and I love her on the show.
- 26:34Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 26:34Speaker 2: But if I said something in which I was annoyed
- 26:37Speaker 2: with– I know her– I know about the black eye.
- 26:41Speaker 2: And I've said also that I don't know if she was,
- 26:44Speaker 2: you know, pleasing– production by not sharing what she should
- 26:48Speaker 2: be sharing, protecting anybody else, protecting herself, protecting Jen Chow.
- 26:52Speaker 2: I don't know, but we were all frustrated with it.
- 26:55Speaker 4: We were all frustrated.
- 26:56Speaker 2: But she hinted that we will find out more soon. Oh, good.
- 27:02Speaker 2: About the black eye.
- 27:04Speaker 4: Finally.
- 27:04Speaker 2: And very juicy with her and Monica and suing the
- 27:11Speaker 2: beauty lab. That's the new girl on Salt Lake who
- 27:15Speaker 2: I've explained has the weird... Relationship with the mom.
- 27:18Speaker 4: Yes. But I feel like those two, they are desperate
- 27:22Speaker 4: to be on the show. The mother and the daughter.
- 27:24Speaker 4: Do you think they're going to the point? Dreams of
- 27:27Speaker 4: being TV stars.
- 27:28Speaker 2: Well, one of the things is when she can take
- 27:32Speaker 2: her Range Rover away whenever she wants.
- 27:34Speaker 1: Right.
- 27:35Speaker 2: The mother. And I did feel like this scene was very...
- 27:38Speaker 2: scripted that they're in the front room. The car drives up.
- 27:42Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 27:42Speaker 2: It's the mom. She comes out, they have bad acting,
- 27:45Speaker 2: mean words. Yep. And I literally feel like when the
- 27:47Speaker 2: mom is like screaming at her, she's like, like, like,
- 27:50Speaker 2: you know, I fucking the camera. Yeah. And, and so
- 27:53Speaker 2: then she's like, no mom, I'm not getting you. I'm
- 27:56Speaker 2: not driving you home or getting an Uber. And then
- 27:58Speaker 2: the mom just walks off with a mic pack on
- 28:00Speaker 2: her back down the street. And it just, that A
- 28:03Speaker 2: lot of people are like, no way does production do that.
- 28:06Speaker 2: They never leave you stranded down a street. No. You know,
- 28:09Speaker 2: they never, there's a car waiting.
- 28:10Speaker 4: But do you remember when she said, when I was
- 28:12Speaker 4: 12 years old, she dropped me off with a strange
- 28:14Speaker 4: family in Pennsylvania because she wanted to pursue her dream?
- 28:17Speaker 2: Yes.
- 28:17Speaker 4: I need to know what the dream is. Because if
- 28:19Speaker 4: she wanted to be a real estate agent, that's very
- 28:21Speaker 4: different than she wanted to be a Rockette.
- 28:23Speaker 2: I mean, that's what I said. I don't think she
- 28:25Speaker 2: got a job selling IBM computers. No. I think it
- 28:28Speaker 2: was either a man. some romance that she thought I
- 28:34Speaker 2: want to live in New York lifestyle. And then the
- 28:36Speaker 2: guy dumped her and then she realized she couldn't afford
- 28:37Speaker 2: to live there. Or it was some type of what
- 28:40Speaker 2: she thought would lead to a glamorous acting something.
- 28:43Speaker 4: I think so.
- 28:44Speaker 2: And I would love for Monica to reveal that on
- 28:47Speaker 2: the reunion. tell us yeah why why not tell us
- 28:52Speaker 2: that's juicy but.
- 28:53Speaker 4: It's also going to say a lot about who you
- 28:54Speaker 4: are and who your mother is and why you're on
- 28:56Speaker 4: this show somebody wrote me and said that they work
- 28:58Speaker 4: together at a company who she and monica monica was
- 29:01Speaker 4: like you know like i think you know like right
- 29:05Speaker 4: out of college or something like lower level position but
- 29:07Speaker 4: she made it very clear my dream is to be
- 29:09Speaker 4: famous all right so well you got it she did she.
- 29:15Speaker 2: Secreted it she manifested it um Here is Paige, just
- 29:19Speaker 2: the cutest. Yeah. Just gorgeous. And she was on the
- 29:23Speaker 2: panel about successful podcasters who come from reality TV. Yes.
- 29:29Speaker 2: And one of the questions they asked her was, or
- 29:32Speaker 2: they asked the panel and she joined in, what is
- 29:34Speaker 2: it like when you make true friendships on the show,
- 29:36Speaker 2: you're both on the show, and one of you doesn't
- 29:38Speaker 2: get asked back, but you can on the show. Is
- 29:40Speaker 2: it hard to continue the friendship when your friend is
- 29:42Speaker 2: no longer a housewife or whatever?
- 29:44Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 29:44Speaker 2: And of course, she's very good friends with Hannah and
- 29:47Speaker 2: they have a popular podcast together, The Giggling Squad. And
- 29:50Speaker 2: so she's like, well, in my case, it was the
- 29:53Speaker 2: best thing that could ever happen for my co-host is
- 29:56Speaker 2: that Hannah wasn't asked back to Summer House. Because then she,
- 30:00Speaker 2: you know, I always say firing whatever is the best
- 30:03Speaker 2: because then you don't have the comfort of going, well,
- 30:07Speaker 2: I could work harder. But I know come June 1st,
- 30:09Speaker 2: I'm going to spend three months drinking and being an
- 30:12Speaker 2: asshole in a summer house, you know. And then Hannah,
- 30:15Speaker 2: you know, is a huge touring stand-up now. And then
- 30:17Speaker 2: they have this popular podcast. So I thought that was great.
- 30:20Speaker 4: That's an anomaly. That's an anomaly.
- 30:22Speaker 2: Probably, yes.
- 30:23Speaker 4: I don't think that really happens a lot.
- 30:25Speaker 2: It doesn't happen much.
- 30:25Speaker 4: That was a good question to ask.
- 30:27Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 30:27Speaker 4: Because a lot of the housewives, once they're, they are
- 30:31Speaker 4: let go, I think they really have this epiphany where
- 30:34Speaker 4: they realize they've become addicted to fame.
- 30:36Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 30:37Speaker 4: And I don't know if that's easy for somebody to
- 30:40Speaker 4: be around someone else that's still on a show when
- 30:42Speaker 4: you're struggling in that space. Like, what is my, how
- 30:46Speaker 4: do I identify myself now? Like, you know, we always
- 30:49Speaker 4: say like somebody erases their real housewives and blah, blah,
- 30:52Speaker 4: blah from their bio. That must be like putting shackles on.
- 30:56Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 30:57Speaker 4: Like, who am I in the world now?
- 30:59Speaker 2: Yeah, I guess Bethany Frankel recently said on her show
- 31:04Speaker 2: or whatever, she said, the two people that will never
- 31:07Speaker 2: be asked back are myself and Carol now because we have,
- 31:11Speaker 2: we have like stood up to Andy and I'm like,
- 31:16Speaker 2: oh my God, I wonder if she's trying to get
- 31:18Speaker 2: Carol to come.
- 31:19Speaker 7: On her show.
- 31:21Speaker 4: Of course.
- 31:23Speaker 2: That would be a good one.
- 31:24Speaker 4: That is the interview that people want to see those
- 31:27Speaker 4: two talk again. I think even more than Jill. I
- 31:31Speaker 4: think people really love the dynamic between Carol and Bethany.
- 31:35Speaker 2: But Carol will not hold back and will not be
- 31:39Speaker 2: there to try to get chummy with her. She will
- 31:41Speaker 2: be like, what the fuck, Bethany? You know you were
- 31:44Speaker 2: acting like... that you were overly hurt by me when
- 31:48Speaker 2: nothing had happened that summer and you were like blindsided me.
- 31:51Speaker 2: And I don't know what, what would the fuck was
- 31:53Speaker 2: your motivation girl? And if, and if Bethany is like,
- 31:56Speaker 2: she should do it, she should do that. And if
- 31:58Speaker 2: Bethany is like, all right, I'll tell you what it was.
- 32:00Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 32:00Speaker 4: I think that would be good.
- 32:01Speaker 2: Like that would be, and it's not about you getting
- 32:03Speaker 2: a new haircut or getting Beyonce's former stylist. It had
- 32:06Speaker 2: nothing to do with that. Like what was the demise
- 32:09Speaker 2: of that? And I think when you have An ex-best friend,
- 32:13Speaker 2: whether it's on a reality show or in real life,
- 32:15Speaker 2: you kind of want to be like, what was your
- 32:16Speaker 2: moment that you snapped and was like, we're done. We're done.
- 32:20Speaker 2: And I'm taking her down in front of the cameras.
- 32:22Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 32:23Speaker 2: Like, what was it? Even for like someone who's, you know,
- 32:26Speaker 2: pretty diabolical, you know, for Bethany as far as being
- 32:30Speaker 2: a reality.
- 32:30Speaker 4: Don't you want to see that?
- 32:31Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 32:31Speaker 2: So speaking of new podcasts, Rachel's podcast is coming.
- 32:37Speaker 4: I saw.
- 32:38Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 32:38Speaker 4: I told you, I don't think she should be doing
- 32:41Speaker 4: anything for at least eight months.
- 32:43Speaker 2: Well, we'll see what happens. Obviously, the way she's got to,
- 32:48Speaker 2: what I said, tell the story of every moment and
- 32:52Speaker 2: when she almost got caught. If she does it at
- 32:56Speaker 2: the top of her show and spreads it over a
- 32:59Speaker 2: few episodes, then that's going to be great. But then
- 33:03Speaker 2: will she be able to keep people coming back every
- 33:05Speaker 2: week once she's shared her story? Or does she just...
- 33:09Speaker 2: I believe my prediction is that she'll just start out with,
- 33:12Speaker 2: you know, interviewing people that are fitness experts and, you know,
- 33:17Speaker 2: emotional healers. And, you know, and then when that dries out,
- 33:21Speaker 2: then she will start talking about Vannerpump. And then she will.
- 33:29Speaker 4: I think a lot struggle with that because they start
- 33:32Speaker 4: shows and they really don't want to talk about the
- 33:34Speaker 4: thing that actually made them famous.
- 33:36Speaker 2: Right.
- 33:37Speaker 4: And then they get so much pressure to actually talk
- 33:39Speaker 4: about it that I could see where it would be
- 33:41Speaker 4: very frustrating.
- 33:42Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 33:43Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 33:44Speaker 2: There's Candy. Here's Louie and Teresa. And I photobombed their
- 33:49Speaker 2: photo here. I saw. They really are, like, so fun.
- 33:53Speaker 2: And I think he, like, loves his life being married
- 33:56Speaker 2: to Teresa.
- 33:57Speaker 4: I'm sure he does.
- 33:58Speaker 2: They pose. They take photos. They look great. They go
- 34:00Speaker 2: to all the things. And he's, like, always, like, a nice,
- 34:04Speaker 2: happy guy. So there you go. Let's talk about The
- 34:07Speaker 2: Golden Bachelor.
- 34:08Speaker 4: Oh, my God. I'm so fired up about it.
- 34:11Speaker 2: Why don't you fill people in? You can tell, explain
- 34:13Speaker 2: what is going on. We now know that he, the
- 34:15Speaker 2: golden bachelor we know now is gotten with Teresa. It
- 34:18Speaker 2: was down to two women, her and this other girl.
- 34:21Speaker 2: Do you remember the other woman?
- 34:21Speaker 5: Leslie.
- 34:22Speaker 2: Leslie, who was more of a hipper woman. She, I
- 34:26Speaker 2: don't believe she's ever been married or she was divorced,
- 34:30Speaker 2: had several relationships in her lifetime. Unlike Teresa, who much
- 34:35Speaker 2: like Jerry had a similar, married the high school sweetheart,
- 34:38Speaker 2: was a There he's 72, she's 70. I think Leslie
- 34:42Speaker 2: was more like 64 maybe, but like act acted and
- 34:46Speaker 2: had a younger persona about her for sure.
- 34:48Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 34:49Speaker 4: And super hot.
- 34:50Speaker 2: Yeah. And, and fun. And so I did not watch
- 34:54Speaker 2: like the final episodes and stuff. Did you? Yes.
- 34:57Speaker 5: Okay.
- 34:57Speaker 2: So please tell us.
- 34:59Speaker 4: So what you need to know is this, when he
- 35:02Speaker 4: was packaged, They made it seem like this guy was
- 35:05Speaker 4: laying in a fetal position since his wife died, has
- 35:08Speaker 4: not been on one date, and that also he is
- 35:10Speaker 4: this extremely successful restaurateur. Who has a lake house, yes.
- 35:15Speaker 4: And it's positioned like the woman that comes into his life,
- 35:18Speaker 4: it's here's the key, extra key, you're going to move
- 35:21Speaker 4: into this lake house and we're going to set our
- 35:22Speaker 4: dreams on fire.
- 35:23Speaker 2: Yes.
- 35:24Speaker 4: Well, two days before the finale, Hollywood Reporter puts this.
- 35:28Speaker 4: great article out. I love an expose. I live for them. Okay.
- 35:31Speaker 4: So this woman, Carolyn has come forward, Carolyn in air quotes,
- 35:35Speaker 4: because she wants to go through another name because lunatics
- 35:39Speaker 4: like myself are going to find her. I want to
- 35:40Speaker 4: interview her.
- 35:41Speaker 2: Okay.
- 35:42Speaker 4: So she says she was actually in a two and
- 35:43Speaker 4: a half year relationship with him, which is like, wait, what?
- 35:48Speaker 4: Also that he's not this like restaurateur. He had some
- 35:51Speaker 4: hamburger French, not a franchise, but like a hamburger business
- 35:54Speaker 4: or something. But he sold it in 1985.
- 35:56Speaker 2: Yes, I saw that.
- 35:58Speaker 4: And he's been working essentially like as a handyman. Which,
- 36:00Speaker 4: by the way, is totally fine. It's just why was
- 36:04Speaker 4: he painted as something completely different? Like just let the
- 36:07Speaker 4: guy be who he is.
- 36:08Speaker 2: Because he said when it came out that– so they
- 36:10Speaker 2: met at a mental health facility in which she was
- 36:14Speaker 2: the maintenance van and she worked there.
- 36:16Speaker 6: Yes.
- 36:17Speaker 2: And they met and started dating two months after the
- 36:19Speaker 2: wife passed.
- 36:20Speaker 4: Two months.
- 36:21Speaker 2: Yeah. The maintenance thing is if people are like, wait,
- 36:24Speaker 2: because we're all thinking about that first episode where he's
- 36:26Speaker 2: looking out at the lake and everything. And so he
- 36:29Speaker 2: has responded and said, yes, I did that because I
- 36:33Speaker 2: was already retired. And that's something I enjoy doing, which
- 36:36Speaker 2: is a very normal profession. And you're out and you're
- 36:38Speaker 2: doing things and it does not mean anything wrong.
- 36:40Speaker 4: No one disagrees with that. But it was presented a
- 36:43Speaker 4: different way.
- 36:44Speaker 2: Well, I think the Bachelorette people, Bachelor people could say,
- 36:47Speaker 2: Golden Bachelorette. Well, we just didn't include that part because,
- 36:51Speaker 2: but you should have because it's his day-to-day life.
- 36:53Speaker 4: That's his story.
- 36:54Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 36:55Speaker 2: That's who he is. Okay.
- 36:56Speaker 4: The other thing that came out in the article, because
- 36:58Speaker 4: this one you're going to love, especially because you talk
- 37:00Speaker 4: about Peter being cheap all the time.
- 37:02Speaker 2: Yes.
- 37:02Speaker 4: So apparently Jerry, and by the way, his name is
- 37:04Speaker 4: spelled G-E-R-R-Y, which is enough to drive you crazy, but
- 37:09Speaker 4: his name's Gary. So it looks like Jerry, but it's
- 37:12Speaker 4: pronounced Gary.
- 37:15Speaker 2: Wait, really? Yes. Wait, everyone calls him Gary?
- 37:19Speaker 4: Everybody.
- 37:19Speaker 2: That you're right. And why is it spelled like that?
- 37:21Speaker 4: It's enough to drive you insane. Okay. So when Gary
- 37:25Speaker 4: was with Carolyn.
- 37:27Speaker 2: The girl from the two and a half years that
- 37:30Speaker 2: he met.
- 37:31Speaker 4: Okay. He wanted her to go half season on all
- 37:34Speaker 4: the bills. Fine. But here's the weirdest story. When they
- 37:37Speaker 4: would go out to eat, she would have to give
- 37:39Speaker 4: him money ahead of time. so that when the bill came,
- 37:43Speaker 4: he would feel good about looking like he's paying the
- 37:46Speaker 4: whole bill.
- 37:47Speaker 2: See, I don't think this is him being cheap. I
- 37:49Speaker 2: think it's him not having a lot of money. I
- 37:51Speaker 2: really don't think he has that much money.
- 37:54Speaker 4: Well, probably, but that's still weird.
- 37:55Speaker 2: It's horrible.
- 37:56Speaker 4: Give me the money ahead of time so that I
- 37:58Speaker 4: can look like the hero and I'm paying. That's appalling.
- 38:00Speaker 2: Controlling.
- 38:02Speaker 4: And weird.
- 38:03Speaker 2: And, okay, so that comes out. Also, when she moved
- 38:08Speaker 2: in with him- She said he wanted her to give
- 38:12Speaker 2: him $ 1, 000 a month for living expenses, but she managed
- 38:16Speaker 2: to get him down to $ 850. Right. And then, of course,
- 38:20Speaker 2: the thing that really upsets us ladies is that in
- 38:25Speaker 2: October of 2019, and she was ready to join him. Gary,
- 38:31Speaker 2: at his high school reunion. And he said, according to her,
- 38:34Speaker 2: I'm not taking you to the reunion looking like that. Carolyn,
- 38:38Speaker 2: who said that she'd put on 10 pounds at the
- 38:40Speaker 2: time due to stress, probably because she didn't gather up
- 38:43Speaker 2: the money before going to dinner, recalled Turner allegedly saying,
- 38:47Speaker 2: referring to her body, that's when they called it quits.
- 38:49Speaker 2: And so then you Let me see. He said, I
- 38:57Speaker 2: retired at 55, but I was very happy to giving back.
- 39:01Speaker 2: So that's why he started doing this other job. Anyway, obviously,
- 39:08Speaker 2: Rolling Stone had this woman and this interview way before
- 39:12Speaker 2: the show ever aired.
- 39:13Speaker 4: And they waited until two days before.
- 39:14Speaker 2: And they waited for two days before. And then he
- 39:17Speaker 2: and Teresa and he's like, You know, I just am
- 39:20Speaker 2: happy with Teresa.
- 39:22Speaker 4: Yeah, not answering any questions.
- 39:22Speaker 2: And one of the things he said about Teresa that's
- 39:24Speaker 2: also pissing off people is he said, I feel like
- 39:28Speaker 2: she's the one that could make a relationship. last, which
- 39:31Speaker 2: is kind of a diss to the Leslie who's had
- 39:33Speaker 2: other long-term relationships in her 64 years and not just
- 39:37Speaker 2: one person who died. Okay.
- 39:39Speaker 4: Also, he said in an interview that he knew it
- 39:42Speaker 4: was meant to be with Teresa because she had mentioned
- 39:44Speaker 4: that She has a son that lives near Charleston, South Carolina,
- 39:48Speaker 4: and he's always had this dream of moving there. So
- 39:52Speaker 4: it would like sync up with his life plans. And
- 39:54Speaker 4: also she still works. He only asked her way late
- 39:57Speaker 4: into the game. Like it came up in conversation on
- 39:59Speaker 4: one of their dates like that she works and has
- 40:01Speaker 4: this career. And it was very much like.
- 40:04Speaker 1: Oh, yeah.
- 40:05Speaker 2: Like, tell me.
- 40:07Speaker 4: Tell me about your career. I'm like, that is not
- 40:09Speaker 4: something you ask like date two.
- 40:11Speaker 2: Okay, but here's the thing. We all know we're only
- 40:14Speaker 2: seeing certain things. So he could have gotten everybody's financials
- 40:20Speaker 2: on the dates and The Bachelor could have chosen not
- 40:23Speaker 2: to show it because it would turn us off. It
- 40:25Speaker 2: is my opinion now.
- 40:26Speaker 4: I don't know.
- 40:27Speaker 2: That in every time he met a woman. No, but
- 40:29Speaker 2: I'm saying I think he asked. I think he asked
- 40:31Speaker 2: and got the info.
- 40:32Speaker 4: No, no, I know.
- 40:33Speaker 2: So I know you're saying. We didn't see it. I
- 40:35Speaker 2: think that was part of him choosing people.
- 40:37Speaker 4: I think he's like very selfish.
- 40:40Speaker 7: Okay.
- 40:40Speaker 2: Okay.
- 40:40Speaker 4: And I think he likes her because he wants the
- 40:42Speaker 4: Charleston house. So this whole story about living in the
- 40:45Speaker 4: lake house is a moot point because they're moving to Charleston,
- 40:48Speaker 4: South Carolina.
- 40:49Speaker 2: Do you remember that one bachelor way back?
- 40:54Speaker 4: Jason Mesnick.
- 40:55Speaker 2: Yeah, he had the supposed lake or boathouse thing.
- 40:59Speaker 4: Yeah, no, Melissa Rycroft, she went to the boathouse. And
- 41:01Speaker 4: then she told me later, she's like, I'm looking around
- 41:03Speaker 4: the place and there's not one picture in a frame
- 41:05Speaker 4: of him. It was like a rented house.
- 41:07Speaker 2: It wasn't his. It was like a staged house.
- 41:09Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 41:09Speaker 4: And then it came out later that they completely embellished
- 41:12Speaker 4: his job too.
- 41:13Speaker 2: I went cold turkey for a couple seasons because of that.
- 41:15Speaker 4: I was so mad.
- 41:15Speaker 2: And then he dumped her on the air to go
- 41:18Speaker 2: for– then he went for Molly. And they are still
- 41:20Speaker 2: together now.
- 41:21Speaker 4: And they have a daughter.
- 41:22Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 41:22Speaker 4: They're totally happy.
- 41:24Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 41:24Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 41:24Speaker 2: Well, some of that is, you know, the show telling
- 41:28Speaker 2: you to do this. Don't mention your maintenance job.
- 41:30Speaker 4: Whatever.
- 41:31Speaker 2: So we can't be completely mad about that.
- 41:33Speaker 4: Of course we can be mad because we invest all
- 41:35Speaker 4: our time into the show.
- 41:37Speaker 2: But, you know, welcome to being a famous dude. It sucks.
- 41:42Speaker 2: You know, good luck to you and Teresa.
- 41:44Speaker 4: And they're getting a TV wedding, so they're going to
- 41:47Speaker 4: do just fine.
- 41:48Speaker 2: You think people still want this TV wedding? You don't
- 41:50Speaker 2: think people care about this that much?
- 41:52Speaker 4: Yeah, they care. 13 million people, I think, watch the finale.
- 41:54Speaker 2: All right, then they'll have their thing. But I wonder now,
- 41:57Speaker 2: will they show him, oh, this is what they're going
- 42:00Speaker 2: to do. They're going to do like, what's been happening
- 42:03Speaker 2: before the wedding? And they're going to show up going
- 42:05Speaker 2: to the mental health facility.
- 42:07Speaker 4: Oh, yeah.
- 42:08Speaker 2: And then very much making it very clear, we have
- 42:11Speaker 2: loved that you have come and helped us in this
- 42:14Speaker 2: and that.
- 42:14Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 42:15Speaker 2: But if he's getting a salary, that's not helping out
- 42:18Speaker 2: and volunteering. And I believe it was a salary. He
- 42:21Speaker 2: was not volunteering to work there.
- 42:23Speaker 6: No.
- 42:23Speaker 2: He was a hired maintenance man.
- 42:24Speaker 4: Yeah, he was a hired maintenance guy.
- 42:26Speaker 2: Which is fine, but they're going to definitely do that.
- 42:28Speaker 2: So it's like, oh, and how much he loved it.
- 42:30Speaker 2: They're moving to the South Carolina.
- 42:31Speaker 4: Totally. Or they'll make it, that's the theme of the wedding.
- 42:34Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 42:35Speaker 4: A maintenance wedding.
- 42:36Speaker 2: Now, here's the thing. If you're Teresa's kids, grandkids, whatever. Yeah.
- 42:42Speaker 4: Abort mission, mom. Don't get married on TV to this weirdo.
- 42:46Speaker 2: I mean, I, well, one thing's for sure is I'd
- 42:49Speaker 2: be like, you're doing a prenup.
- 42:51Speaker 4: Prenup.
- 42:51Speaker 2: And you're doing a will that, you know, where each
- 42:55Speaker 2: money stays with the kids. If the other one dies,
- 42:58Speaker 2: it doesn't go to the spouse. Yes.
- 43:00Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 43:01Speaker 4: But is she going to listen to them now? Oh,
- 43:04Speaker 4: and then they're going to be like, we really supported
- 43:06Speaker 4: our mom doing the show. And now that's going to
- 43:09Speaker 4: be the documentary afterward.
- 43:10Speaker 2: Well, it reminds me of the famous, famous– this is
- 43:14Speaker 2: from 2000– Oh, that was the million. Do you want
- 43:20Speaker 2: to marry a millionaire? Yes. It was the first of
- 43:23Speaker 2: its kind. It was before The Bachelor. Listen up, kiddies, kiddos.
- 43:28Speaker 2: We're going to tell you a little juicy scoop history.
- 43:30Speaker 2: There was a show. It was on Fox. It was
- 43:32Speaker 2: a one night thing for two hours where a man
- 43:35Speaker 2: was behind a thing. You only heard his voice. I
- 43:40Speaker 2: don't know if he got to see the girl's looks.
- 43:44Speaker 2: But the girls did not get to see him. And
- 43:46Speaker 2: they were lined up and they went through a series
- 43:48Speaker 2: of questions until he decided, based on all the questions,
- 43:52Speaker 2: over a two-hour live event, who he was going to
- 43:56Speaker 2: ask to marry him. And he asked this girl who was,
- 43:59Speaker 2: I believe, a nurse. She said yes. And then they
- 44:04Speaker 2: meet and she does marry him. Yeah. But shortly after,
- 44:09Speaker 2: it comes out that he's not... He's technically a millionaire,
- 44:14Speaker 2: but barely. It was like he owned a house in
- 44:18Speaker 2: San Diego, but there was a loan on it. So
- 44:21Speaker 2: even though it might've retailed or whatever for like 850,
- 44:24Speaker 2: he still owed like 750. I don't know what the
- 44:27Speaker 2: story was. He was not rich. He was doing a,
- 44:30Speaker 2: he was trying to be a standup comic.
- 44:32Speaker 7: Right.
- 44:32Speaker 2: Just so embarrassing. And he also did a cable access
- 44:37Speaker 2: show in San Diego that my husband, Peter, used to
- 44:40Speaker 2: watch and remembered it. Remembered it from that. It was
- 44:43Speaker 2: really bad. So again, someone who was always wanting to
- 44:45Speaker 2: be on TV, always wanted to be famous. And then
- 44:48Speaker 2: there were, of course, those domestic violence things and all
- 44:52Speaker 2: these stories and restraining orders. And that's where they're like,
- 44:55Speaker 2: why did... So they never slept together. I think they
- 44:58Speaker 2: went on the cruise.
- 44:59Speaker 4: They went on the cruise and she was totally despondent
- 45:02Speaker 4: on the cruise. She was like, what have I done?
- 45:04Speaker 4: I need to get out of here.
- 45:05Speaker 2: So she gets out of it. And then I want
- 45:07Speaker 2: to say she did Playboy or something. She did. She
- 45:10Speaker 2: was like around for like the next four years popping
- 45:13Speaker 2: on like a hard copy or something.
- 45:15Speaker 4: Inside edition.
- 45:17Speaker 2: And then I think she did finally marry somebody and
- 45:19Speaker 2: like lives in Thousand Oaks.
- 45:20Speaker 4: And I think she's like a nurse. Yeah, still.
- 45:22Speaker 2: Still a nurse. Yeah. But yeah.
- 45:24Speaker 4: That was a doozy of a show. Remember the women?
- 45:27Speaker 4: You can see him, but he was like behind the
- 45:28Speaker 4: screen and they were like, I'm going to make all
- 45:30Speaker 4: your dreams happen.
- 45:31Speaker 2: Yes. Like he was a billionaire today. Like they made
- 45:35Speaker 2: it up here. If this was today, it would have been,
- 45:37Speaker 2: do you want to marry a billionaire? Yes. And you
- 45:39Speaker 2: would say, yes, I don't care what you look like
- 45:43Speaker 2: because we are going to be billionaires. flying on private
- 45:45Speaker 2: jets and whatever, like basically Jackie Onassis marrying Onassis. Like,
- 45:51Speaker 2: I know you're an ugly little troll, but how else,
- 45:54Speaker 2: but you know, the Kennedy's have cut off my security
- 45:56Speaker 2: for my two kids and I want to buy a
- 45:59Speaker 2: cashier sweater in every color. So I'm going to marry
- 46:01Speaker 2: this guy and he'll like to have Jackie O.
- 46:04Speaker 4: As his wife. Did you read that book yet?
- 46:05Speaker 2: I've read part, I've read many books on it. Which
- 46:08Speaker 2: book are you referring to?
- 46:09Speaker 4: No, no, this is the new book you need to,
- 46:10Speaker 4: this is your vacation book. It's called Jackie Public Private Secret.
- 46:14Speaker 4: It's by J. Randy Tarabarelli. And it's all about Jackie.
- 46:17Speaker 4: And there are so many stories in it. And they
- 46:19Speaker 4: talk about the Aristotle marriage. They only actually had sex
- 46:22Speaker 4: one time.
- 46:22Speaker 2: That's what I always thought.
- 46:23Speaker 4: They only had sex one time. And she basically said
- 46:26Speaker 4: to him, I will be your, you know, the public
- 46:28Speaker 4: trophy wife because his reputation had taken quite a big dig.
- 46:33Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 46:33Speaker 4: And you need to give me the lifestyle that I want.
- 46:36Speaker 4: She was terrible with money. She spent so much money.
- 46:39Speaker 4: And yeah, they only slept together one time.
- 46:43Speaker 2: I totally believe that. And you know that she snagged
- 46:45Speaker 2: him from her sister. Carol Radswell, mother-in-law.
- 46:49Speaker 4: Her sister was in love with him. But that wasn't
- 46:51Speaker 4: the first time because her sister actually first met JFK.
- 46:55Speaker 4: And then their mother said, you know, he should really
- 46:58Speaker 4: be with Jackie, not you. So that Aristotle was the
- 47:01Speaker 4: second time that happened. There is so much in, you
- 47:04Speaker 4: are going to, your head will explode.
- 47:06Speaker 2: I'm so excited. And I just remember my mom who,
- 47:09Speaker 2: you know, was around that age or a little younger,
- 47:13Speaker 2: but still. And I just remember like years later when we'd,
- 47:16Speaker 2: we'd get the people magazine and stuff. And it was like,
- 47:18Speaker 2: you know, her and Onassis doing something. And she was like, Oh, please.
- 47:23Speaker 2: She went from JFK to that old little troll. It's
- 47:27Speaker 2: because he's a shipping person or whatever. And that was
- 47:30Speaker 2: like the first time I think I was introduced to
- 47:32Speaker 2: like gold digging. Well, you knew who helped her.
- 47:36Speaker 4: He had a sister, Artemis. And I think that was
- 47:39Speaker 4: her name.
- 47:40Speaker 2: Onassis did. Yes.
- 47:41Speaker 4: And she became really close friends with her. And the
- 47:44Speaker 4: sister helped kind of like grease the wheels. You know,
- 47:47Speaker 4: Jackie would be really good for you. They were like working.
- 47:51Speaker 4: She was like the wing woman, kind of greasing the wheels.
- 47:54Speaker 4: Like you should really be with Jackie.
- 47:55Speaker 2: Do you think JFK Jr. ever was like hanging out
- 47:58Speaker 2: with his stepdad?
- 47:59Speaker 1: No.
- 48:00Speaker 2: And enjoying him on any level?
- 48:02Speaker 1: No.
- 48:02Speaker 4: He didn't actually spend that much time with them at all.
- 48:04Speaker 2: I don't think they did. I think all his father's
- 48:07Speaker 2: figures came from the uncles of the Kennedys, you know? Yes.
- 48:10Speaker 2: I don't think he had any relationship. And what happened
- 48:13Speaker 2: with Onassis' daughter that got everything?
- 48:16Speaker 4: Oh, she hated Jackie. She hated her. despised her. And
- 48:21Speaker 4: Jackie made some sort of agreement before he died.
- 48:23Speaker 2: What was her name? Christina.
- 48:24Speaker 4: Christina.
- 48:25Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 48:25Speaker 4: And she made some sort of contractual agreement where she
- 48:29Speaker 4: would get less money and then she always kicked herself
- 48:31Speaker 4: for it. Wait, she didn't get as much money as
- 48:34Speaker 4: she thought.
- 48:34Speaker 2: Wait, Jackie would get less.
- 48:35Speaker 4: She got less money in the end. Because Christina did
- 48:38Speaker 4: not like her and really was pushing her father like,
- 48:43Speaker 4: you know, I just don't want this woman to get
- 48:45Speaker 4: a lot of your money. So they were kind of
- 48:47Speaker 4: like on the outs. Also, there's a great moment in
- 48:50Speaker 4: the book where she was obsessed with, for a period
- 48:53Speaker 4: of time, Maria Callas, who had a long affair with Aristotle.
- 48:56Speaker 4: She was the very famous Greek opera singer. And one
- 48:59Speaker 4: night she goes to Paris and she stood outside Maria's
- 49:04Speaker 4: apartment building just to see what she looked like. And
- 49:07Speaker 4: she said that when she walked outside, she felt such pity.
- 49:10Speaker 4: She was like, this is just so sad. Because here
- 49:13Speaker 4: she's married to Aristotle. Maria's really in love with Aristotle.
- 49:17Speaker 4: But he wouldn't marry her. I think he actually pushed
- 49:20Speaker 4: her to get an abortion too. It is a wild book.
- 49:25Speaker 2: Okay. What's the name of the book again?
- 49:26Speaker 4: It's called Jackie Public Private Secret by J. Randy Tarabarelli.
- 49:31Speaker 2: Now let's talk about a doc that is on Netflix.
- 49:35Speaker 2: A lot of people are talking about it. It's called
- 49:37Speaker 2: Mother God. Oh my gosh. I have seen a few
- 49:40Speaker 2: of the episodes. How many episodes are there total? Three. Yeah.
- 49:42Speaker 2: I think I'm almost at the end of the second.
- 49:45Speaker 4: Okay.
- 49:46Speaker 2: And why don't you give a little intro about what
- 49:51Speaker 2: this is and who this woman is?
- 49:52Speaker 4: So her name's Amy Carlson. Okay. And she became known
- 49:56Speaker 4: as Mother God by her followers. She started this new
- 49:59Speaker 4: age movement. She actually co-founded it. She meets this man
- 50:03Speaker 4: who looks like Santa Claus on meth.
- 50:05Speaker 2: Right.
- 50:06Speaker 4: And they hook up and they start making videos online.
- 50:09Speaker 4: And he says to her, you know, you really are divine.
- 50:11Speaker 4: And she starts, you know, believing it because she's also
- 50:14Speaker 4: high all the time. So she gets all of these
- 50:17Speaker 4: people like really fascinated by these videos that she puts out.
- 50:21Speaker 2: And this is only like a couple of years ago. Yeah,
- 50:24Speaker 2: this is like five years ago.
- 50:25Speaker 4: This was during like COVID times. So you have the
- 50:29Speaker 4: nuttiest people who are just looking online all the time.
- 50:32Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 50:33Speaker 4: And she starts saying that she has a connection to
- 50:36Speaker 4: all these people that have passed away. Michael Jackson, Marilyn Monroe.
- 50:43Speaker 4: She was Marilyn Monroe. She was Marilyn Monroe, but they're
- 50:46Speaker 4: also communicating with her because they were all members of
- 50:48Speaker 4: the Intergalactic Federation of Light. So they communicated to her.
- 50:53Speaker 4: And so she had a portal into the fifth dimension
- 50:57Speaker 4: and that she would eventually ascend into heaven and that
- 51:00Speaker 4: people needed to send her money to support her. And
- 51:03Speaker 4: she would give people crazy advice, like drinking colloidal silver.
- 51:06Speaker 4: And her health began to really decline.
- 51:10Speaker 2: What is colloidal silver?
- 51:11Speaker 4: Colloidal silver is like bits of silver used in jewelry
- 51:15Speaker 4: floating in liquid. And there are nutty people that drink it.
- 51:19Speaker 2: Who think that what?
- 51:20Speaker 4: They think it's going to help your immune system. And
- 51:22Speaker 4: during COVID, they thought it would help with COVID as well.
- 51:26Speaker 2: Oh, my God.
- 51:27Speaker 4: But what it does is it turns your skin like
- 51:29Speaker 4: a purple-gray hue. And also put you into liver failure.
- 51:34Speaker 2: Is that why that guy became like the real human
- 51:37Speaker 2: smurf or something? Yes, yes.
- 51:38Speaker 4: He was drinking the silver. And there are lots of
- 51:41Speaker 4: people in Facebook groups right now as we speak who
- 51:44Speaker 4: are purple, writing about how they need to take colloidal silver.
- 51:48Speaker 4: It's insane. So she was espousing all these weird points
- 51:52Speaker 4: of view. And she also believed that she could heal
- 51:55Speaker 4: other people's cancer with the power of love. Hence the
- 51:57Speaker 4: name Love Has Won, which is the name of this
- 52:00Speaker 4: group of followers. So people would fly out and they
- 52:04Speaker 4: would move into this like little compound.
- 52:05Speaker 2: And this one girl comes with like three or four kids. Yeah.
- 52:09Speaker 4: So eventually she ends up dying.
- 52:11Speaker 2: And they're all just smoking pot and drinking all day.
- 52:14Speaker 2: And they're like, no problem. That helps us get closer
- 52:16Speaker 2: to God. But what I found crazy is some of
- 52:19Speaker 2: these people talking for the doc. So I assume they
- 52:22Speaker 2: still believe what they're saying, right? And they're all like...
- 52:26Speaker 2: attractive and they they have that weird language almost like
- 52:30Speaker 2: Scientology where like words were just created for it and
- 52:33Speaker 2: they're explaining it with such conviction such conviction that I'm
- 52:37Speaker 2: like I totally see why people get sucked in and
- 52:40Speaker 2: believe it because it's like it'll be like Mother God
- 52:44Speaker 2: is part of the escalation of interpretation of humanitarian into
- 52:50Speaker 2: the skyline and with that she has a direct portal
- 52:54Speaker 2: into the inside of what makes us tick into the
- 52:58Speaker 2: interior opportune. There's like weird words. Like I was like,
- 53:02Speaker 2: oh my God, but they're saying it.
- 53:04Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 53:05Speaker 2: Like they seem lucid, alert. They're not high when they're
- 53:09Speaker 2: saying it. It's literally like you're listening to a professor
- 53:12Speaker 2: tell something in college. Like I was like, what? And
- 53:17Speaker 2: they're pretty. And I'm like, oh my God, what are
- 53:19Speaker 2: these parents thinking? And you know what? She was pretty.
- 53:22Speaker 4: Yeah, no, she was pretty.
- 53:22Speaker 2: She was pretty before the drugs kicked in. So she
- 53:24Speaker 2: had different Father gods. Yes. And the father gods knew
- 53:28Speaker 2: that they were, that they may not be the last one,
- 53:32Speaker 2: that they might be replaced. So it was like, she
- 53:35Speaker 2: was the first, I feel like the first, like, you know,
- 53:38Speaker 2: Charlie Manson where like, you know, or cult leaders that would,
- 53:41Speaker 2: you know, most cult leaders are men. They'd have many
- 53:44Speaker 2: different women.
- 53:45Speaker 4: It's unusual to be a female cult leader.
- 53:47Speaker 2: And this one guy that she gets that she meets online,
- 53:50Speaker 2: who's like, you're going to, she's like, you're going to
- 53:51Speaker 2: come and be father God. And then the previous father
- 53:54Speaker 2: God is like, Enjoy the pussy. Like, I don't know,
- 53:57Speaker 2: just laugh.
- 53:57Speaker 4: Well, also because they said, like, it's all about her.
- 54:00Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 54:00Speaker 4: Like, they weren't really getting satisfied.
- 54:02Speaker 2: No, he even said, he goes, I was not attracted
- 54:05Speaker 2: to her, but then, you know, I was told I'm
- 54:07Speaker 2: Father God and this is Mother God. And so then
- 54:09Speaker 2: I went for it. And then at one point, you know, yeah,
- 54:12Speaker 2: I was sucked in and I, like, loved her. And also,
- 54:14Speaker 2: but we were high every day.
- 54:16Speaker 7: Right.
- 54:16Speaker 2: But what were they living off? Oh, the money of people.
- 54:19Speaker 4: The money, the donations. Oh. Okay, so then she starts,
- 54:22Speaker 4: then she's paralyzed from the waist down. How did she
- 54:24Speaker 4: get paralyzed? They had to carry her to the restaurant.
- 54:25Speaker 4: Because she's just like going into organ failure.
- 54:27Speaker 2: Because of eating the silver?
- 54:29Speaker 4: On top of tons of other things, I'm sure. And
- 54:32Speaker 4: she's been like high. All right.
- 54:34Speaker 2: And how old is she? Like early 40s?
- 54:35Speaker 4: She was only 45 when she died.
- 54:37Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 54:37Speaker 4: So she dies and they put her in a sleeping bag.
- 54:39Speaker 4: They wrap her with Christmas lights. They put glitter on
- 54:42Speaker 4: her face. And they are moving the body place to place.
- 54:45Speaker 4: And they're at a hotel. And the maintenance people start
- 54:48Speaker 4: complaining about the smell.
- 54:50Speaker 2: Oh.
- 54:50Speaker 4: So now they're like, we got to get out of here.
- 54:52Speaker 4: So then they go to Mount Shasta. So when... The
- 54:55Speaker 4: guy that was the first member, whose name is Miguel Lamboy,
- 54:58Speaker 4: he gets access to all the finances, cleans out the accounts,
- 55:03Speaker 4: tells the authorities they've got a dead body. They go
- 55:06Speaker 4: and they find her dead body. So the beginning of
- 55:08Speaker 4: the documentary, you can actually see the eyeballs were missing.
- 55:13Speaker 2: Why did they get rid of her eyeballs?
- 55:14Speaker 4: Because they were decomposing.
- 55:15Speaker 2: Oh.
- 55:16Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 55:17Speaker 4: And so there were charges.
- 55:19Speaker 2: And what about the kid that was there? They're like,
- 55:21Speaker 2: we have one child here. What happened there?
- 55:23Speaker 4: No, there were two children that were there at this
- 55:25Speaker 4: time where the dead body was there. So there were
- 55:27Speaker 4: charges brought against them, but they were later dropped, which
- 55:29Speaker 4: is very strange. And then all those members are kind
- 55:32Speaker 4: of doing their own thing. The two women who were
- 55:34Speaker 4: really cute, they still do videos. A bunch of them
- 55:37Speaker 4: are like healers. And they still believe her. They believe
- 55:42Speaker 4: that she was communicating with Robin Williams.
- 55:45Speaker 2: Yes.
- 55:47Speaker 4: With the Intergalactic Federation of Light.
- 55:50Speaker 2: It is insane.
- 55:50Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 55:53Speaker 2: It's a crazy one. It's a big one. It's a
- 55:55Speaker 2: big one. It's a good one to watch. Yeah. Also,
- 55:58Speaker 2: there's Bad Surgeon on Netflix. That's a three-parter. Yeah. And
- 56:02Speaker 2: that is a story I remember seeing on 2020 and everything.
- 56:05Speaker 2: And that is about a attractive journalist who meets this
- 56:10Speaker 2: high-profile surgeon who promises her the world. They fall in love.
- 56:15Speaker 2: They get engaged. But they have a long distance, almost
- 56:19Speaker 2: international relationship.
- 56:21Speaker 7: Right.
- 56:21Speaker 2: And they're planning on getting married. And he says, I'm
- 56:25Speaker 2: the private doctor to Obama and I'm the private doctor
- 56:27Speaker 2: to the Pope and the Pope is going to marry us.
- 56:30Speaker 2: And she never, which, you know, it's interesting because being Catholic,
- 56:35Speaker 2: you know, he goes, no, the Pope's going to marry us.
- 56:37Speaker 2: Now being Catholic, I, if I was to believe that
- 56:40Speaker 2: this guy was as powerful as he was, it would
- 56:44Speaker 2: not occur to me to go, wait a minute, have
- 56:47Speaker 2: popes ever married anybody? Are they allowed to marry somebody?
- 56:50Speaker 2: And then she realizes, like, no, that's never, again, they've
- 56:55Speaker 2: never married anybody and they're not allowed to marry to
- 56:57Speaker 2: anybody or something like that. And he just made it up.
- 57:00Speaker 4: There are a number of things about that wedding too.
- 57:02Speaker 4: I think Andrea Bocelli was supposed to perform. And then
- 57:05Speaker 4: she's trying to organize the wedding and people aren't sending
- 57:08Speaker 4: RSVPs back. I mean, to say the least, but also
- 57:11Speaker 4: he's this horrible surgeon.
- 57:13Speaker 2: What kind of a surgeon was he?
- 57:15Speaker 4: So he had done this surgery where he would replace someone's... Tracheotomy? Yeah,
- 57:22Speaker 4: like their trach. And so he did do a couple
- 57:25Speaker 4: surgeries where the people ended up passing away from it,
- 57:28Speaker 4: but they had all these other pre-existing issues. But there
- 57:31Speaker 4: was one person in particular where he took a donor
- 57:35Speaker 4: trach and he was bathing it in stem cells. So
- 57:38Speaker 4: medical journals started to pay attention and to write about it.
- 57:43Speaker 4: And then he got this offer to be like a
- 57:46Speaker 4: visiting professor of this, you know, pretty acclaimed school. And
- 57:50Speaker 4: like most cons, he's sort of embellishing everything and using
- 57:55Speaker 4: that to get bigger opportunity upon a bigger opportunity, which
- 57:59Speaker 4: leads to him doing these surgeries where he was taking
- 58:02Speaker 4: plastic trachs and baiting it with the stem cells, which
- 58:06Speaker 4: there was no study that backed it up that it
- 58:08Speaker 4: actually worked. And those people all started to die. So
- 58:12Speaker 4: that was basically how he was revealed to be a con.
- 58:17Speaker 2: And where is he now? Do we know?
- 58:20Speaker 4: There were charges brought. I think he served for maybe
- 58:22Speaker 4: two years, I believe.
- 58:24Speaker 2: And then she also finds out that, you know, he
- 58:26Speaker 2: had like a whole nother family.
- 58:27Speaker 4: He was married for 30 years. He wasn't even divorced
- 58:29Speaker 4: and he's planning a wedding.
- 58:31Speaker 2: Now, what do you think he gets out of the like?
- 58:36Speaker 2: He wasn't getting money from her. So what is the
- 58:39Speaker 2: love con do for someone like that? Just the, just
- 58:42Speaker 2: the ego of making someone be in love with you?
- 58:45Speaker 4: I think someone like that, he just, the stakes kept
- 58:50Speaker 4: getting higher. Like he gets a high off of it. Like, oh,
- 58:53Speaker 4: now I'm a professor. Even like, he knows he's got
- 58:56Speaker 4: a rinky dink degree that he doesn't do accurate surgeries.
- 59:00Speaker 4: And now he's like, married, but this woman believes that
- 59:03Speaker 4: you know, he's the greatest guy and like all the lies.
- 59:07Speaker 4: It's like he gets a high off.
- 59:08Speaker 2: You know, it's so interesting.
- 59:09Speaker 4: I see that because my stepfather was a con and
- 59:11Speaker 4: I believe my dad's a con. I know cons. This
- 59:13Speaker 4: is what they get high on.
- 59:15Speaker 2: Yeah. And I also think like when someone who's like,
- 59:19Speaker 2: you know, the guy that said he was a Rockefeller,
- 59:20Speaker 2: there's all the stories.
- 59:22Speaker 4: I just think if you're in the right place.
- 59:23Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 59:24Speaker 2: Yeah. And you're around the right people and you look right.
- 59:28Speaker 2: And why would you question it? Why wouldn't you be like,
- 59:31Speaker 2: I met this person? And I can only imagine the
- 59:33Speaker 2: way he lured her in, like, you know, of being
- 59:37Speaker 2: someone that's like, um oh my god you would love
- 59:41Speaker 2: shelly you guys would hit it off who's shelly oh
- 59:43Speaker 2: that's what i call michelle obama right would you ever
- 59:47Speaker 2: i know you're busy but like if they if they
- 59:49Speaker 2: want to hang out in hawaii would you would you
- 59:52Speaker 2: be down and you wouldn't be down yeah uh no
- 59:54Speaker 2: i i went down to hang out with like they
- 59:57Speaker 2: they like downplay it they like drop it yeah and
- 1:00:00Speaker 2: then they like downplay it and then.
- 1:00:02Speaker 4: You're just like yeah they're just like Or my friend
- 1:00:05Speaker 4: Oscar says he could make your dress if you're interested
- 1:00:07Speaker 4: in that.
- 1:00:08Speaker 2: Who's Oscar?
- 1:00:09Speaker 4: Oscar de la Renta.
- 1:00:10Speaker 2: Oh. I mean, I was just going to go to.
- 1:00:14Speaker 4: David's Bridal, but okay.
- 1:00:16Speaker 2: Sure.
- 1:00:17Speaker 4: Awesome.
- 1:00:18Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 1:00:18Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:00:19Speaker 2: Tell Oscar I can do it.
- 1:00:20Speaker 4: Don't you think that Southern California is the perfect place
- 1:00:23Speaker 4: for a con?
- 1:00:24Speaker 2: Oh, definitely.
- 1:00:24Speaker 4: Because no one asks questions here. No, you and I
- 1:00:26Speaker 4: ask questions.
- 1:00:27Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:00:28Speaker 4: You know, I'm annoying to the point where I'm like,
- 1:00:29Speaker 4: where did you go to school? Meanwhile, I'm Googling under
- 1:00:31Speaker 4: the table. But a lot of people don't ask questions here.
- 1:00:35Speaker 4: I have been conned.
- 1:00:36Speaker 2: And then you look back when you realize that you
- 1:00:39Speaker 2: dealt with a grifter, whatever. And you look back at
- 1:00:42Speaker 2: all the things. And I was like, hmm. You know,
- 1:00:47Speaker 2: where are all these friends that this girl says she has?
- 1:00:50Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 1:00:51Speaker 2: Why have I only met the hairdresser over three years? Like,
- 1:00:55Speaker 2: where is Leonardo DiCaprio? Where is this person? You know,
- 1:00:59Speaker 2: where is, you know... Clint Eastwood's son that she's so
- 1:01:03Speaker 2: close to when we've hung out for three years and
- 1:01:06Speaker 2: then you know I'm kind of like but and then
- 1:01:10Speaker 2: I did you know eventually be like okay let's just
- 1:01:13Speaker 2: like move along and then and then they when they
- 1:01:16Speaker 2: know that you're on to them and they know that
- 1:01:17Speaker 2: you're like distancing yourself that's when they're like boom I'm
- 1:01:22Speaker 2: gonna retire you're gonna pay for um Not believing me
- 1:01:27Speaker 2: or whatever. It's very, very interesting. But I have been conned.
- 1:01:32Speaker 4: Yeah. I think this is the perfect place for it.
- 1:01:34Speaker 2: Yeah. Yeah. Okay. Nepo baby. Here we go. Meg Ryan.
- 1:01:41Speaker 2: Snap back at anybody who called her actor son, Jack Quaid,
- 1:01:44Speaker 2: a nepo baby. So look, a lot of people talk
- 1:01:48Speaker 2: about nepo babies. It's kind of an expression that's only
- 1:01:51Speaker 2: been around for a couple years. It's kind of cute.
- 1:01:53Speaker 2: Kind of not, I guess, if you are one. And
- 1:01:57Speaker 2: but I mean, so what? Like, I think these people
- 1:02:00Speaker 2: should just embrace it.
- 1:02:02Speaker 4: I just think people get upset because there are people
- 1:02:05Speaker 4: that don't acknowledge that they got a leg up.
- 1:02:08Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:02:09Speaker 4: And if you're somebody who has had zero connections and
- 1:02:12Speaker 4: works really hard, it can be annoying when you hear
- 1:02:15Speaker 4: someone tell, you know, their story of their success and
- 1:02:18Speaker 4: they leave out the fact that they had a ton
- 1:02:21Speaker 4: of leg up. Right. That annoys people.
- 1:02:24Speaker 7: Right.
- 1:02:24Speaker 2: If you're a great actor. I feel like Gwyneth Paltrow
- 1:02:27Speaker 2: did always share that. Always talked about her dad and
- 1:02:29Speaker 2: her mom.
- 1:02:30Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 1:02:30Speaker 2: And it wasn't a secret.
- 1:02:31Speaker 6: No.
- 1:02:32Speaker 2: Just owned it. But here's the thing. If your parents
- 1:02:37Speaker 2: are hanging out with Martin Scorsese and all these people
- 1:02:40Speaker 2: as you're a little kid growing up and they're all
- 1:02:42Speaker 2: at your house having dinner and then you come running
- 1:02:45Speaker 2: down the stairs and now you're 17 and you're gorgeous
- 1:02:48Speaker 2: and you look just like your mom and they're like,
- 1:02:52Speaker 2: what is Kate up to? And they're like, well, she
- 1:02:56Speaker 2: wants to go to NYU for acting. She just got
- 1:02:58Speaker 2: the lead in the play. And I'm like, and then
- 1:03:00Speaker 2: they're like, but wait a minute, I'm literally casting something
- 1:03:03Speaker 2: that she would be perfect for. Can she act? And
- 1:03:08Speaker 2: just like people who are, you know, children of mechanics,
- 1:03:12Speaker 2: they kind of have a net. Their brain is like,
- 1:03:14Speaker 2: they're naturally good at it. So I think a lot
- 1:03:17Speaker 2: of actors are, that are children of actors are actually
- 1:03:21Speaker 2: have an innate ability to act besides all the connections
- 1:03:26Speaker 2: and also having a mother read with you. Yeah. Like
- 1:03:30Speaker 2: it is just the thing, but you're right.
- 1:03:31Speaker 4: You just have to acknowledge it and say, I was
- 1:03:33Speaker 4: inspired as a kid sitting at the kitchen table. Like
- 1:03:36Speaker 4: if you're Natalie Wood's daughter.
- 1:03:37Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:03:38Speaker 4: And you're like, we would have Christmas parties and every
- 1:03:40Speaker 4: star you could imagine was there and I would study them.
- 1:03:43Speaker 2: Right.
- 1:03:43Speaker 4: That, as soon as you acknowledge that, I think people
- 1:03:46Speaker 4: lay off you.
- 1:03:47Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 1:03:47Speaker 4: But if you're acting like, I went to New York
- 1:03:50Speaker 4: City and I stayed in a one room, you know,
- 1:03:52Speaker 4: this little apartment. And I used to knock on doors
- 1:03:55Speaker 4: and it's like, okay, enough with that.
- 1:03:57Speaker 2: Well, when I was at Kathy's party, we were talking
- 1:04:00Speaker 2: and Kathy was like so funny. And she was like,
- 1:04:02Speaker 2: she goes, you know, Don Rickles used to say at everything.
- 1:04:07Speaker 2: She's like, Don Rickles used to hang out. Like this
- 1:04:10Speaker 2: is old. Of course, Kathy Hilton hung out with, you know,
- 1:04:14Speaker 2: Don Rickles. Of course she did. Okay. Anyway. And I
- 1:04:18Speaker 2: want to talk about, wait, so here I am. Here's
- 1:04:20Speaker 2: my NEPO baby. Here is Brandon. My triumphant return to
- 1:04:25Speaker 2: the runway happened last night, yesterday, at the Hyatt Regency
- 1:04:29Speaker 2: for Crespi High School, the All-Board Catholic High School. Last
- 1:04:32Speaker 2: time I modeled in a fashion show, like a real
- 1:04:36Speaker 2: fashion show, which wasn't real fun, was the Louisville one,
- 1:04:39Speaker 2: which is the all-girl high school, when I was, you know,
- 1:04:42Speaker 2: not even 18. I was 17 when I did that.
- 1:04:45Speaker 2: And it was a big deal. And so I said
- 1:04:49Speaker 2: to him, I go, there's like three things I care
- 1:04:51Speaker 2: about you doing at this high school. One is that
- 1:04:53Speaker 2: you go on Kairos, which is a three-day religious retreat.
- 1:04:56Speaker 2: The next is that we do this modeling thing. And
- 1:04:59Speaker 2: the third is at the Mother's Day Mass that you say,
- 1:05:03Speaker 2: I want to speak about my mom after.
- 1:05:05Speaker 4: Oh, when did they do that?
- 1:05:06Speaker 2: Mother's Day.
- 1:05:07Speaker 4: But when you're a senior. When you're a senior, though.
- 1:05:10Speaker 2: Go to this mass, and only like a handful of
- 1:05:12Speaker 2: boys do it. But I've gone in previous years, and
- 1:05:15Speaker 2: I've cried, and I've been like, you have got, tell
- 1:05:18Speaker 2: me that you'll do this.
- 1:05:19Speaker 4: Wait, are you going to write the speech for him?
- 1:05:20Speaker 2: No, I'm absolutely not going to write the speech.
- 1:05:22Speaker 4: He's a good writer. He's going to do it.
- 1:05:23Speaker 5: Okay.
- 1:05:23Speaker 2: He's a good writer.
- 1:05:24Speaker 4: I would write the speech.
- 1:05:25Speaker 2: I would.
- 1:05:27Speaker 5: No.
- 1:05:28Speaker 2: Anyway, so we modeled the boys wore tuxes. And suits.
- 1:05:32Speaker 2: And I found a great dress.
- 1:05:34Speaker 4: It's a little weird to see him. Like, he looks
- 1:05:36Speaker 4: old to me.
- 1:05:36Speaker 2: I know. And here we are backstage.
- 1:05:38Speaker 4: He was like a little kid three minutes ago.
- 1:05:40Speaker 2: We had so much fun. And his cousins came.
- 1:05:43Speaker 4: That's sweet.
- 1:05:45Speaker 2: And his sister, Mackenzie, and my sister came. And then
- 1:05:48Speaker 2: I had a couple girlfriends there. And they were all...
- 1:05:51Speaker 2: We had a great table at the end of the runway.
- 1:05:53Speaker 2: And they were, like, hyping him up. And he was
- 1:05:56Speaker 2: really hamming it up. So... You know, look, when he
- 1:06:00Speaker 2: becomes a top model. There you go. He's going to
- 1:06:03Speaker 2: have to say, I got my start because my mom's
- 1:06:06Speaker 2: a podcaster. Yep. And she talked about it on Juicy Scoop. Yeah.
- 1:06:11Speaker 2: And she made sure that I signed up to do
- 1:06:15Speaker 2: the modeling.
- 1:06:17Speaker 4: And it forever changed my life.
- 1:06:19Speaker 2: It forever changed my life. Now, this is really fun,
- 1:06:22Speaker 2: young moms. If you're ever at a school or you
- 1:06:26Speaker 2: want to do something like this.
- 1:06:28Speaker 4: I feel like it's a Southern California thing.
- 1:06:30Speaker 2: I don't know. I think just one person starts it
- 1:06:32Speaker 2: and then it's a tradition. And we have like the shopping.
- 1:06:36Speaker 2: So like the vendors came, you know, so it was
- 1:06:39Speaker 2: like shopping before. I think they make some money off
- 1:06:42Speaker 2: of it. Who knows how much. But it is a
- 1:06:43Speaker 2: really fun thing to do for girls too. Girls, boys, co-ed, whatever.
- 1:06:47Speaker 2: Have a little modeling show with their parent. At least
- 1:06:51Speaker 2: the seniors can model with their parent, the other kids, whatever.
- 1:06:55Speaker 2: I think it's so fun. It is a lot of
- 1:06:57Speaker 2: work for the people that put it together. I just
- 1:07:00Speaker 2: showed up and then gave my thoughts afterwards, though I'm
- 1:07:03Speaker 2: not volunteering to ever help. So I'm that mother you hate.
- 1:07:06Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 1:07:06Speaker 2: But I did participate.
- 1:07:09Speaker 4: I don't think I could have my kids. I don't
- 1:07:10Speaker 4: think my kids would do it. I think my son would,
- 1:07:13Speaker 4: but my daughters would be like, you're embarrassing.
- 1:07:15Speaker 2: Please do not do that.
- 1:07:15Speaker 4: There were other moms.
- 1:07:16Speaker 2: That were there that was like, I couldn't get my
- 1:07:18Speaker 2: kid to do it.
- 1:07:18Speaker 4: I go, that's totally fine.
- 1:07:19Speaker 2: Your kid is playing football. It doesn't matter. This is
- 1:07:22Speaker 2: something that I said, would you do it? And he said, yes.
- 1:07:26Speaker 2: And then we really hammed it up. And then we
- 1:07:28Speaker 2: closed the show, and we did a little bow at
- 1:07:32Speaker 2: the end. I was like, listen, we can do what
- 1:07:34Speaker 2: we want. We're closing the show. So that was really fun.
- 1:07:37Speaker 2: Moving on. Okay, a little more about Housewives of Beverly
- 1:07:39Speaker 2: Hills before we end this. How are you feeling about
- 1:07:42Speaker 2: the season? Give me your thoughts of where we're at.
- 1:07:45Speaker 2: What about Denise Richards? Oh, my God.
- 1:07:47Speaker 4: What was happening?
- 1:07:48Speaker 2: What was happening?
- 1:07:49Speaker 4: Like that?
- 1:07:50Speaker 2: Well, you know, you know. Well, listen, guys.
- 1:07:55Speaker 4: Do you think they drove her around a couple times
- 1:07:57Speaker 4: around the block before?
- 1:07:58Speaker 2: She seemed high buzzed, whatever, when she got out of
- 1:08:02Speaker 2: the van with or the car with Camille. Because I
- 1:08:06Speaker 2: think she was already like, should we go to ran
- 1:08:08Speaker 2: and out?
- 1:08:09Speaker 4: I feel like she was in that car a long
- 1:08:11Speaker 4: time and then like overshot it.
- 1:08:13Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:08:14Speaker 4: You know?
- 1:08:15Speaker 2: I think, yes. I think they came from Malibu. Yes.
- 1:08:20Speaker 2: To Encino. That's a solid hour.
- 1:08:22Speaker 4: That's a solid hour.
- 1:08:23Speaker 2: And I think they may have provided alcohol. Maybe not.
- 1:08:27Speaker 2: Maybe they brought it. Yeah. And they were like, go ahead.
- 1:08:31Speaker 2: You know? And she's nervous.
- 1:08:33Speaker 4: She was probably nervous.
- 1:08:34Speaker 2: Probably nervous. And when people are nervous, they drink more
- 1:08:36Speaker 2: and you're going to be on camera and you're nervous
- 1:08:38Speaker 2: about seeing people that you haven't seen. Yeah. And so
- 1:08:41Speaker 2: I think she was just really buzzed. I just think
- 1:08:43Speaker 2: she had way too much Casamigos. What's the... Casamigos. No,
- 1:08:48Speaker 2: but she likes the one that's like the.
- 1:08:49Speaker 4: The Blanco?
- 1:08:50Speaker 2: No, she likes the darker one. What's it called? Aneo?
- 1:08:52Speaker 4: I don't know.
- 1:08:53Speaker 2: No, there's... I'll show the A. She always says that. Casamigos,
- 1:08:58Speaker 2: da-da-da-da on the rocks.
- 1:08:59Speaker 1: And.
- 1:09:00Speaker 2: But when it was pretty... Erica was pretty good because
- 1:09:05Speaker 2: she's like, let's, you know, show Erica. Come on. We're
- 1:09:12Speaker 2: grown-ass adults. Are we going to do this? And I mean,
- 1:09:16Speaker 2: I'm like, oh, I cannot wait for this week of
- 1:09:20Speaker 2: like what the fuck happened. And then, yeah, then Kyle's
- 1:09:24Speaker 2: there and then they have the pot thing. And of course, Kyle,
- 1:09:28Speaker 2: you know, reveals to Morgan like, well, everyone's giving me
- 1:09:33Speaker 2: shit for not drinking, but we're having like this, you know,
- 1:09:36Speaker 2: TCH dinner or whatever it is. And then Morgan's like, well,
- 1:09:39Speaker 2: if you don't want to partake, why don't you just
- 1:09:41Speaker 2: not partake? Why do you have to do it? And
- 1:09:44Speaker 2: she's like, you think?
- 1:09:45Speaker 4: Do you know who?
- 1:09:47Speaker 2: She's all giddy.
- 1:09:48Speaker 4: Do you know who Leather Tuscadero was from Vampire?
- 1:09:51Speaker 2: Yes, we talked about this.
- 1:09:52Speaker 4: She looks just like her.
- 1:09:55Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 1:09:55Speaker 2: From Happy Days.
- 1:09:56Speaker 4: She really does.
- 1:09:57Speaker 7: Yes.
- 1:09:58Speaker 2: Morgan Wade is Leather Tuscadero.
- 1:09:59Speaker 4: Which is Suzy Quatro on Stumbling In, the 70s duet star.
- 1:10:05Speaker 2: That's right. That's right.
- 1:10:06Speaker 4: She looks just like her.
- 1:10:07Speaker 2: She kind of does.
- 1:10:08Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 1:10:09Speaker 2: And so they get another, she gets a tattoo and
- 1:10:12Speaker 2: a lot of people are questioning sequence of events. Now
- 1:10:15Speaker 2: we know that on reality show, sometimes they have to
- 1:10:18Speaker 2: redo a scene. So she comes home apparently from getting,
- 1:10:24Speaker 2: from hanging with her friend Morgan, where she's absolutely giddy.
- 1:10:29Speaker 2: Like the memes that are like, I just want someone
- 1:10:31Speaker 2: to look at me the way Kyle looks at Morgan.
- 1:10:34Speaker 2: Like that's my goal. And she gets this little star
- 1:10:37Speaker 2: thing on her pelvic area. And she comes home to Mo,
- 1:10:42Speaker 2: and he's like, love beam. What did you do? And
- 1:10:48Speaker 2: she pulls it down and shows it. And I remember thinking,
- 1:10:50Speaker 2: wait a minute. Now, I've never had a tattoo.
- 1:10:52Speaker 4: Me neither.
- 1:10:53Speaker 2: But aren't you supposed to have the lotion and the
- 1:10:56Speaker 2: saran wrap on it for like a day?
- 1:10:57Speaker 4: For a little bit, yeah.
- 1:10:58Speaker 2: And it was dry as a bone and out there. Yes.
- 1:11:03Speaker 2: Do I think she put on the Gucci sweater and,
- 1:11:06Speaker 2: you know, redid this scene for when Mo came home
- 1:11:09Speaker 2: for dramatic effect to look like I just left my friend. Maybe.
- 1:11:12Speaker 2: And now I'm annoyed with my husband who's like, well,
- 1:11:15Speaker 2: I hope I get to see that tattoo sometime. And
- 1:11:17Speaker 2: she's like, yeah, whatever.
- 1:11:20Speaker 4: Something that I think people also forget. Remember last year or,
- 1:11:24Speaker 4: you know, a year from the time that this was filmed?
- 1:11:28Speaker 4: Remember her best friend? died by suicide?
- 1:11:32Speaker 2: Yes, she's talking about that on social media.
- 1:11:34Speaker 4: I think that has a lot to do too with her.
- 1:11:37Speaker 2: Annoyance with Mo not being sensitive. That's what people are saying.
- 1:11:41Speaker 2: There's people putting this out so it's not me so
- 1:11:44Speaker 2: I can't recall who did it but I saw it
- 1:11:46Speaker 2: online where they're like I really think that that affected
- 1:11:50Speaker 2: her a lot and because she says she suffers from
- 1:11:53Speaker 2: anxiety and stuff and this was her dear friend who
- 1:11:56Speaker 2: died by suicide and so she was like People think
- 1:11:59Speaker 2: that maybe he just wasn't as sensitive.
- 1:12:03Speaker 4: Think of it like someone like Liz.
- 1:12:05Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:12:05Speaker 4: They're the witness to your whole life.
- 1:12:07Speaker 2: Right.
- 1:12:08Speaker 4: As her best friend was.
- 1:12:09Speaker 2: Right.
- 1:12:10Speaker 4: And the loss of that is massive. And if your
- 1:12:12Speaker 4: partner is kind of blowing, maybe he's like high and
- 1:12:15Speaker 4: he's all about his reality show.
- 1:12:17Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:12:17Speaker 4: That could be the last straw. Like, you know what?
- 1:12:21Speaker 4: Of all the things that I've done to support you,
- 1:12:23Speaker 4: what I really need is for you to be here now.
- 1:12:25Speaker 4: And I also think the added element of like, Morgan's
- 1:12:28Speaker 4: in her life. She's an outsider.
- 1:12:30Speaker 6: Right.
- 1:12:30Speaker 4: You know, all the people in Kyle's life maybe have
- 1:12:32Speaker 4: heard all the stories about her sister and her husband.
- 1:12:35Speaker 4: And it's kind of great when someone new has a
- 1:12:38Speaker 4: new perspective where they're like, wait, let's go back to that.
- 1:12:41Speaker 4: What happened with your sister?
- 1:12:42Speaker 2: Like you put up with that? And also someone from
- 1:12:44Speaker 2: a different generation.
- 1:12:45Speaker 4: Yes.
- 1:12:46Speaker 2: Because a different generation, like we're, you know, she and I,
- 1:12:50Speaker 2: Kyle and I are Gen X. Morgan is technically Gen Z. Yes.
- 1:12:55Speaker 2: And they really do have a different perspective on life. They're,
- 1:12:58Speaker 2: I mean, in lots of ways, they have such a
- 1:13:02Speaker 2: better perspective. And they're, I believe they're nicer. Like Gen X,
- 1:13:08Speaker 2: we are the same bitchy girls everywhere. that we were
- 1:13:11Speaker 2: when Heather's, the movie was written. We are exactly like,
- 1:13:15Speaker 2: if you were that, it's very rare. You don't really mature.
- 1:13:19Speaker 2: We're still like, look at that girl. Like, Oh, it's
- 1:13:22Speaker 2: a little bit like that, which is why I think
- 1:13:24Speaker 2: housewives and everything is the way it is. And why
- 1:13:26Speaker 2: I think it's sort of even more fascinating when someone
- 1:13:29Speaker 2: younger starts watching it. Cause they're like, Oh my God.
- 1:13:32Speaker 1: Yes.
- 1:13:33Speaker 2: And like, I just feel like we're just exactly the
- 1:13:35Speaker 2: same as we, which isn't a great thing to say.
- 1:13:38Speaker 4: Well, it's because the system that we were all raised in.
- 1:13:41Speaker 2: Right.
- 1:13:42Speaker 4: And so if you have a younger perspective, it's somebody
- 1:13:44Speaker 4: fresh who's like, I cannot believe you went through that.
- 1:13:48Speaker 4: You're going to be like, oh my God, I want
- 1:13:50Speaker 4: to be around you even more.
- 1:13:52Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:13:52Speaker 4: So I think that that's another added element that, you know,
- 1:13:55Speaker 4: sometimes people kind of forget about too.
- 1:13:57Speaker 2: Yeah, I'm thoroughly enjoying it. What do you think of
- 1:14:01Speaker 2: the new girl? She's coming in hot.
- 1:14:04Speaker 4: She's coming in a little hot.
- 1:14:05Speaker 2: Yeah, she's a little bit. It's a lot. Yeah, I
- 1:14:08Speaker 2: don't know her name.
- 1:14:10Speaker 4: I like someone to just kind of ease in.
- 1:14:11Speaker 2: Yeah, like she's like, I got to make my, I
- 1:14:13Speaker 2: got to be obnoxious and make my mark.
- 1:14:15Speaker 4: I don't like this new trend of like just throwing
- 1:14:17Speaker 4: someone in and we're not learning about their personal story.
- 1:14:20Speaker 2: Yeah, just a friend of Kyle's.
- 1:14:21Speaker 4: They just show up. I'm like, wait, wait, wait, what?
- 1:14:24Speaker 2: And then Garcelle had a great moment in her interviews
- 1:14:27Speaker 2: where she was like, the only time I think about
- 1:14:29Speaker 2: jewelry is that Dorit still had hers after the robbery.
- 1:14:37Speaker 4: By the way, what do you think happens behind the cameras?
- 1:14:39Speaker 4: Are people high-fiving? Does someone close the door and just
- 1:14:43Speaker 4: high-five a wall? Are they like, we got it?
- 1:14:46Speaker 2: I mean, I know people that have worked on those
- 1:14:49Speaker 2: day-long things. They don't go to their house, in case
- 1:14:52Speaker 2: you didn't know. They go to a studio and they
- 1:14:53Speaker 2: put the backdrop of your house. So you're all at
- 1:14:56Speaker 2: the studio, timed, probably alone.
- 1:14:59Speaker 4: Let's wrap this up. I got stuff to do.
- 1:15:01Speaker 2: So that other people don't see you. But they can
- 1:15:03Speaker 2: be really, really tedious, really, really long. And I think
- 1:15:08Speaker 2: they ask you lots of questions, but I also think
- 1:15:09Speaker 2: they help and produce you.
- 1:15:11Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 1:15:12Speaker 2: But I think this was all Garcelle.
- 1:15:14Speaker 4: It was good.
- 1:15:15Speaker 2: And, well, we'll see. What jewelry do you have? And
- 1:15:21Speaker 2: how is it that they didn't take your ring? Had
- 1:15:25Speaker 2: you walked to the closet and gathered up the bags
- 1:15:29Speaker 2: in a bag sheet or comforter and all this stuff,
- 1:15:32Speaker 2: did you just take your diamonds and go like this?
- 1:15:34Speaker 4: Maybe she did. I don't know.
- 1:15:35Speaker 2: Maybe she did. Maybe the minute they came in, she
- 1:15:38Speaker 2: managed to go like this and just throw it on
- 1:15:39Speaker 2: the ground or something. But I would think if there
- 1:15:42Speaker 2: was an element of that story and I was like,
- 1:15:45Speaker 2: I woke up and there were people in my room,
- 1:15:47Speaker 2: you know, and they're like, get on the ground. And
- 1:15:49Speaker 2: I managed to go like this and throw it on
- 1:15:52Speaker 2: the ground in the dark, showed him everything else. That
- 1:15:56Speaker 2: would be the story I would be telling on camera
- 1:15:57Speaker 2: and be telling everybody when I'm at Extra or, you know,
- 1:16:01Speaker 2: Access Hollywood. I would be like, so the one thing
- 1:16:04Speaker 2: I managed to save was my wedding ring.
- 1:16:07Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 1:16:07Speaker 2: I was blessed and everything. And I turned it around
- 1:16:10Speaker 2: or I threw it on the ground or they or
- 1:16:11Speaker 2: got it was so weird they didn't even ask about it. Yeah.
- 1:16:15Speaker 2: Or I put it, I always put it in my nightstand.
- 1:16:18Speaker 2: They only went to the closet.
- 1:16:19Speaker 4: I think everyone's been afraid to ask questions because they
- 1:16:22Speaker 4: don't want to upset her. But I think that's the
- 1:16:25Speaker 4: great thing about some of these confessionals is that it
- 1:16:28Speaker 4: does start to pull out questions.
- 1:16:31Speaker 2: Right.
- 1:16:31Speaker 4: Which can make other scenes later so full.
- 1:16:34Speaker 2: And, you know, providing, you know, everything Greete has told
- 1:16:38Speaker 2: us is 100% true. And she was really scared for
- 1:16:40Speaker 2: her life and her children's life and everything. which is
- 1:16:42Speaker 2: fucking horrific. So if anybody was questioning my truth, now
- 1:16:48Speaker 2: some people say, ignore these people, ignore, just like people
- 1:16:50Speaker 2: say to me, ignore, don't give them any light. I
- 1:16:53Speaker 2: don't know. I'd want to be like, I'd be like Garcelle,
- 1:16:57Speaker 2: like especially the region. What jewelry are you talking about?
- 1:17:01Speaker 2: Specifically that you remember me having before the surgery, before the.
- 1:17:06Speaker 4: Robbery.
- 1:17:07Speaker 2: The robbery and after.
- 1:17:09Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 1:17:10Speaker 2: Which ones? And if you can't name them, then you
- 1:17:12Speaker 2: were just being a bitch. And then she would go,
- 1:17:15Speaker 2: it's your wedding ring. And then I could say, as Dorit, okay,
- 1:17:18Speaker 2: I'm really glad you asked that. He just never asked.
- 1:17:22Speaker 4: See, if I were Dorit, I wouldn't even go to
- 1:17:24Speaker 4: that place. I would go.
- 1:17:25Speaker 2: What would you go?
- 1:17:26Speaker 4: For all of you that are having questions with regard
- 1:17:30Speaker 4: to the robbery, this is what happened. You get in
- 1:17:33Speaker 4: front of it.
- 1:17:34Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:17:35Speaker 4: Don't wait for someone else, you know, a year and
- 1:17:37Speaker 4: a half down the line to float a question like that.
- 1:17:40Speaker 2: But what if, what if Garcelle said that and there
- 1:17:43Speaker 2: isn't a specific ring or anything, she just saw that
- 1:17:46Speaker 2: she had jewelry after, which could be fake, which could
- 1:17:49Speaker 2: be stuff that was somewhere else. And, you know, and
- 1:17:52Speaker 2: never bothered to ask Dorit, like, wait, how did you
- 1:17:56Speaker 2: get away with keeping your watch in your ring when
- 1:17:59Speaker 2: they're robbed? And then she could have said, you know what?
- 1:18:02Speaker 2: Or I put it in a drawer and we went
- 1:18:03Speaker 2: only to the safe and to the da, da, da, da.
- 1:18:06Speaker 2: And then they were gone. Thank God. Or I threw,
- 1:18:08Speaker 2: I threw it to the ground when they weren't looking
- 1:18:10Speaker 2: or I never had it on or whatever.
- 1:18:13Speaker 4: It's in a different, like, by the way, this is
- 1:18:15Speaker 4: all fair game.
- 1:18:16Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 1:18:16Speaker 4: This happened to you and me. Maybe we wouldn't be
- 1:18:19Speaker 4: asking all these questions.
- 1:18:20Speaker 6: Right.
- 1:18:20Speaker 4: It's fair game when you're on a, on a television
- 1:18:22Speaker 4: show and it's covered on the show. So yes, they
- 1:18:26Speaker 4: have to address it at the reunion if they don't
- 1:18:28Speaker 4: do it.
- 1:18:28Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:18:28Speaker 4: Before that.
- 1:18:30Speaker 2: Um, This is kind of juicy. Pretty Woman.
- 1:18:34Speaker 4: The real story of Pretty Woman. I didn't know this,
- 1:18:36Speaker 4: so you've got to tell me.
- 1:18:38Speaker 2: The real script, she just revealed it because she's got
- 1:18:40Speaker 2: a Netflix show coming out that looks really juicy, like
- 1:18:42Speaker 2: The End of the World or something.
- 1:18:43Speaker 4: I don't know.
- 1:18:44Speaker 2: It looks good. Anyway, she said it was going to
- 1:18:46Speaker 2: be a much darker film called 3,000, which was the
- 1:18:50Speaker 2: price of Vivian to spend the night with Edward. Well,
- 1:18:53Speaker 2: that was what she got for the week. By the way,
- 1:18:55Speaker 2: I saw someone talk about Pretty Woman saying, why will
- 1:18:57Speaker 2: no one bring up the fact that she was getting
- 1:18:59Speaker 2: $ 100 an hour, $ 300 for the night, and then he goes,
- 1:19:03Speaker 2: I'll give you $ 3, 000 for the week, which if you
- 1:19:05Speaker 2: do the math, takes her down to $ 21 an hour. Oh,
- 1:19:06Speaker 2: my Lord.
- 1:19:07Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 1:19:09Speaker 2: Anyway, so this said, Vivian was a drug addict and
- 1:19:14Speaker 2: the movie ended with the original script with him leaving
- 1:19:17Speaker 2: her in a side street, throwing the money at her
- 1:19:20Speaker 2: and driving away. And I got the part in that
- 1:19:23Speaker 2: movie and I felt really proud. But when the production
- 1:19:25Speaker 2: company folded and the film disappeared, I was crushed. But
- 1:19:29Speaker 2: then Disney picked it up, which seemed unlikely. And then
- 1:19:33Speaker 2: they made it funny. And there was one producer that
- 1:19:36Speaker 2: stayed with the script and then it went to Disney.
- 1:19:38Speaker 2: And I went, went to Disney. Are they going to
- 1:19:40Speaker 2: animate it? How is this a Disney movie? So anyway,
- 1:19:42Speaker 2: it turned, that's where they made it lighter and cute.
- 1:19:46Speaker 2: But it still is like, well, I would talk about it.
- 1:19:49Speaker 2: Like we all watched it in the nineties and because
- 1:19:52Speaker 2: she got to go shopping, we all were like, it
- 1:19:56Speaker 2: became our favorite movie. But we have to remember that
- 1:19:58Speaker 2: she and the roommate would, Wake up at eight, at
- 1:20:03Speaker 2: nine at night and put on the boots with the
- 1:20:06Speaker 2: zipper and have to go suck dirty dicks that they
- 1:20:09Speaker 2: met with guys in the car. Even though she was gorgeous. Like,
- 1:20:13Speaker 2: you don't want to think about that, but that's what
- 1:20:15Speaker 2: she was doing. And she gave him a BJ the
- 1:20:18Speaker 2: first night at the hotel. Like she got all prepared.
- 1:20:21Speaker 2: She put down her pillow. Like she did it.
- 1:20:24Speaker 1: And.
- 1:20:25Speaker 2: I mean, she was a street hooker. The movie makes
- 1:20:29Speaker 2: no sense at all, but it's classic. It's a classic
- 1:20:36Speaker 2: and it made her the star. I love it. All right, Kate,
- 1:20:39Speaker 2: tell them what's coming up on your show. Okay.

- 1:21:14Speaker 4: for insurance money. But he pretended there was an assailant
- 1:21:17Speaker 4: and it caused race relations in Boston.
- 1:21:20Speaker 2: What year was that?
- 1:21:21Speaker 4: Um, it was like 20 years ago.
- 1:21:23Speaker 2: Oh, wow. Yeah. So it's a good story. Yeah.
- 1:21:25Speaker 4: Um, you're going to like that one. Um, I'm covering
