I don't know if I c I don't know if you got anything else to add to that intro. Roc: It you you couldn't have said it any better. You could not have said it any better. It's this is the season, tis the season. I mean, football's back and dub and I are really just in lockstep right now. We we gotta talk ball and we both looked at each other, gave gave a text to each other and we're like, Hey, let's get back going on the Instagram, let's start pumping out some content and let's try and start ripping the pod again. And this is where we are. C-Dub: And also to kind of bounce off that. I th I feel like me and Rock are like the main like we're the only ones that really bet in the group. So like we like Roc: Yeah. C-Dub: sharing our plays, just talking our plays, like we're always bouncing back and Roc: Yes. C-Dub: forth between the two of us. so we just wanted to kind of share those 'cause I mean, we enjoy ball. We love talking ball. Roc: Yeah. C-Dub: I'm not the biggest ball knower, Rocco's Mr. Ball knower. But I'm gonna do my best Roc: I love ball. C-Dub: and we're gonna make it work out. So Roc: Yeah, hopefully you guys are gonna love gonna love our content. I already got some of my friends, they they were texting us for plays about some of the games coming up this week, so hopefully C-Dub: Yeah. Roc: hopefully we succeed. C-Dub: So general breakdown episode. That was the intro. We're gonna go game by game. We're gonna try and do two episodes a week. We're gonna play around with it. So just bear with us. if it goes well, I I'll actually buy a mic. Roc: Yeah, same here. I mean ripping ri ripping air pads. C-Dub: No w no hey. But if you guys actually like this, we're we'll upgrade, we'll keep it going, we'll do more stuff. We're gonna try and keep this episode to there's no really time constraint, but we're just gonna talk games. The second episode will be where we talk our plays that we're like that we like going into the week. So ideally Roc: Yeah. C-Dub: release Tuesday night, Thursday night. I mean Roc: Tuesday will be like recap of the week prior and or previous and then Thursday would be what we like going into the week. So we'll see how this C-Dub: Yeah. And I Roc: format is. We we'd love love the feedback from you guys if you guys like it or not and how it goes, but also with our scheduling and how how we're able to pump out episodes and editing and everything. C-Dub: We do have jobs. but we do love doing this too. So we'll we'll see how it goes. Roc: Yeah. Yeah. C-Dub: So again, general breakdown, i intro, we'll recap each game and then at the end maybe some questions, clean some stuff up. That's about it. So Rock, if you want to take it away with the first game, be my guest. Roc: Yeah, so I mean, we started off week two, Thursday night, Bills, Lions. I mean, we were we were heading into this game. We we thought one word, over. Over, over, over. We thought a lot of points, a lot of pre player props, and I mean, we we got it for the most part. Bills look like the Bills. Bills dominated honestly. Lions, they keep on getting off to these these rough starts, slow starts. And then they have to fight their way back. What they got into them got themselves into what a twenty one point hole, fourteen point hole, I think, before they actually C-Dub: Yeah, yeah. Yeah. Roc: picked it up. The Bills state stadium opener, new high mark. Buckley was at the game. He said that it was electric. It it looked electric. And I think that really just fed into the the environment there and Josh Allen's performance. C-Dub: I mean, I I I like the Lions that kinda covered that. I thought it was gonna be close, but at the end of the day the I mean the Bills stadium hype and all that, it makes it makes sense as to why as to why they won and they played well. I mean, granted, I think both defenses are still kind of the those offenses got rolling. I mean the the Lions did a little later, but I think I I I mean, I honestly think that the Lions defense will get better. going back to my video with their secondary so injured and everything and with their with their line, like really struggling and having what was it, three out of five starters out? Roc: Yeah, three other five offensive starters were out. C-Dub: say, I went one for one on my mortals, and I am one for one. I haven't given another one out yet, possibly this next Thursday game. I don't even know who's playing Thursday. Roc: Thursday this week's Packers Falcons. C-Dub: a true stinker. yeah, I'll have Roc: Yeah. C-Dub: immortal for that. I'll have immortal for that. I definitely will. And we'll talk about that Thursday on the next Epi. But Yeah. Roc: Yes. yeah, Lions Lions, Bills game, Bills dominated, forty one thirty one. Goff his his over slap. Pretty much all the Lions players except for Jameson Williams, their overs hit. And my plays for that for that game, smacked. Dubs mortal lock for Laporta. Slapped. Dubs, you want to go off that? C-Dub: No, that's that's all I really got. I'm just one for one on mortals. I know I didn't hit some of those plays there, so that's my bad guys. I'll talk about the plays I missed later on when we're talking about other games. I have some I have some I have a segment that I'm thinking of. Roc: Yeah. All right, we wanna move on to the Sunday slate. So that was Thursday. Okay. And C-Dub: Yeah. Let's get it rolling. Let's get it rolling. Yeah, I'm I'm I was locked into this one. Roc: yeah, so our first game we're gonna talk about Steelers Pats. C-Dub: My analysis on that that g there was a game that was played. A game happened. Roc: Yeah. Y did did did we watch? Minimally. Minimally. C-Dub: A game occurred. And here I have this this might be a new segment for us. I got some segments we would love your feedback of a future bet that should exist. I wish there was a future bet where if you bet ro you bet Rogers for the entire season, if you'd have one game where he goes 300 passing yards plus three touchdowns. I just want one vintage Rogers game. That's all I'm asking for from the Steelers team. There's not high expectations here, but that is all I really want. Roc: You y I think we will get one. What was it last last year, Thursday night? I it was Flacco versus Rogers in the Unk Bowl when they both put up three hundred and fifty yards, three touchdowns. It was electric. So I think we will C-Dub: Pick Nabbies. I just Roc: get one. Again, Patriots twenty, Steelers three. I just had boring, boring football. Rogers' age is showing. Weapons and O line aren't helping him. He was getting mauled. I I don't know if you guys watched, but he took some shots. He had he got rocked on one. It was a C-Dub: Yeah. that one right one hit was my god. Roc: Yeah, yeah, it got rocked on a third down. It was like a third and seven. Gets absolutely smoked. Ball bounces around, ended up being a fourth and forty-three. DK's dropping balls left and right. They're trying to play him in the slot, which I don't understand because he's an outside guy, a go guy. And I don't know. Steelers just look like a mess. They brought in McCarthy to stabilize stabilize this team, have that rekindle rekindle the flame with Rogers and it just looks like a mess. Obviously you got a long season to go, but I don't know. And C-Dub: Yeah. Yeah. As l last thought on that. As a guy who took DK in one of his fantasy leagues to be a flex, it's been sad. I had high hopes going to the season, it's been sad. Roc: Yeah. I mean Patriots side of things, they don't look the best right now. Drake may looks like he's regressing a little regressing a little bit from last year, but when you go win fourteen games last year and the the two seed in the AFC, Drake, the schedule May, I mean, he's showing showing himself a little bit, but a win's a win and they move on. The they'll be fine. C-Dub: Yeah. Nothing more on that. Roc: next game, Panthers, Falcons. Panthers thirty four, Falcons three. Yeah. C-Dub: Let me let me get here. Let me get it here. Again, a game was played. A g a game happened. There was a football game. Roc: I I I got Bryce Young, Bryce Young, Bryce Young. I'm really, really, really happy to see him succeed. You're finally seeing why he was the Heisman number one overall pick. He first two years put in a very, very bad spot, bad offensive line, no weapons, and coach that just I don't think really helped him out as much. Dave Canales coming in, helps him out, good offensive mind, and I I I'm just happy to see Bryce succeed. And he sees his bond. C-Dub: and Tet. I mean I really like those two. I mean Coker really Roc: Yeah. C-Dub: burst on the scene. Tet woke up week two. I think I mean I think they'll be frisky and then and then their division I think they have a really good s good shot. I haven't checked their odds Roc: Yeah. C-Dub: but they I mean if they're not favored, I don't really know. What a who it would be. Roc: The NFC South, n nine wins will get you into the playoffs. Last year it was eight wins, an eight and nine C-Dub: Yeah. Roc: record, and they made the playoffs. So I mean, you don't really have to be the seven Patriots and go out there and win sixteen games. You just gotta Yeah, you gotta be mediocre. And going going off that though, yeah, yes. C-Dub: It it's them and it's them and the Saints. I mean we'll talk about we'll talk about that eventually with the Saints, but I think they have a really good chance to win this division. Roc: But for the Falcons side of things it's just quarterback play. I'm so sorry if you're a Falcons fan. Quarterback play's just been bad. You got Cooper Rush and then St Straud Stroud, whatever his name is, un undrafted rookie. Yeah. I C-Dub: Brennan s Brennan What was it s Strand? Strand. Roc: strand, Strand. It I I just feel bad because they they have weapons. They have weapons, no doubt. That offense should be explosive. I mean, you got Bijan, you got Pitts, you got London, Zakaya Branch rookie. Out of USC Georgia. I mean, they should be they should be fun. And they're getting Penix back. They already announced they're getting Penix back for this Thursday night game. So we don't have the malpractice of seeing Cooper Rush on a primetime game again for Thursday against the Packers. So hopefully C-Dub: Yeah. Roc: he comes out there coming off this ACL injury, they keep him upright and he just goes and slings the pill. C-Dub: And I will say I think Kyle Pitts is gonna have a game soon, maybe. I hope, I hope. Roc: hope. I'm a huge Kyle Piss fan. I I I don't even have him in fancy. I just I'm a huge fan of him. He's 6'5, 6'6, moves like a deer. Like he he should be he should be producing. And I C-Dub: Yeah. Roc: just feel bad because these these weapons are insane and they just they don't have a quarterback play. And their their rookie draft class last year, they took two defensive ends, Walker and Pierce. There were studs last year of the rookie year. Walker unfortunately tore his ACL in the offseason and James Pierce is suspended for domestic violence. So that doesn't help. But they they looked promising and now it's just they seem like they're just at the bottom of the league and hopefully they can get get the quarterback play to pick back up. C-Dub: Let me say one more thing on that game. I I believe that Kevin Stefansky I'm not sure what religion it is. It might be it's either Hinduism or Buddhism. It's reincarnation stuff. He Roc: Yeah. Yep. C-Dub: must have been a terrible human being in a past life. To to like get the teams that he has and with the Roc: Stocks. Stocks. C-Dub: injury riddled I think he's a good coach, but like to have this coach Roc: I I agree. C-Dub: lock is he must have been a terrible person in the past life. That's that's all I got. I mean, I feel for the guy. I do. I do. I mean, I don't know w I don't know what else to say on that. yeah. Roc: I think he's a good coach also. And I in the offseason I really wanted Kyler to either go to Minnesota or go to the Falcons just because they have so many explosive offensive pieces. And I think if you put Kyler in there, who's shown he can play, that like they would actually be a fun watch. Unfortunately, they went with Tua. I mean they they love their lefties, just a little dump off. And I don't know. It's not working out, but we'll we'll see how how the season unfolds with them. Hopefully they can pick it up. C-Dub: Mm-hmm. Roc: game three, bang Bengals, Texans, Bengals twenty, Texans six. my first starting point is Bengals and defense. Their defense looks good right now. It C-Dub: yeah. Roc: week one, they forced what five, six turnovers against the Bucks, hold the Texans to six points. Not like the Texans are some high flying offense, but when have you ever heard the Bengals and defense be synonymous? You never. They went out and they spent Money on defensive players, obviously they got Dexter Lawrence from the Giants. They went out and paid and the Bengals are cheap they're a cheap organization, so they never actually do this. But with subpart play from Burrow so far, which is kinda the theme of his career, they start off the regular season every year slow. He starts off slow. They fall into a what an and two, one and three start, and then they somehow pick it up, pick it up, pick it up, and then it's too late. So I mean I I think that if Bengals defense is legit like this, as much as we think it is, they they're they could be scared. C-Dub: Yes. I completely agree. same p kinda go off what you stated. those Texans. I mean, it's it I think it's still tough to tell because the bu they played the Bengals played the Bucks first. And the Bucks we'll get into it, maybe Stinkers. w but like are they good or did they just play a bad team and then a C a CJ Shroud and with no Nico? Roc: Yeah. C-Dub: I think it's I think it's I think they're good, but I'm not sold quite yet. They need to play A quality offense for me to really for me to really buy stock in that defense. Roc: That's perfect description of that, honestly. C-Dub: and it I'll follow up with that if you're the Texans. if you're losing by less than 17 points and you have David Montgomery, run the damn ball. I don't I I I forgot to write it down, but he did not have that many touches. I mean, and like you have you have a beast, and you're just You have you have the horse in the stable pretty much. Now I I feel like you gotta utilize him more. I forget his rush yards. I I should have written it down. Hey that hey, first podcast. That's on me. But Roc: It I I'm looking at it right now. I'm pretty sure he had like six carries for eight yards in that game. I'm pretty C-Dub: I mean Roc: sure they they just had zero. I I'm I'll double check right now. But they just could not run the ball. Yeah, David Montgomery had six carries for ten yards. They're leading C-Dub: And I did write down a half. That game was seven to three. Like, Roc: Yeah. C-Dub: there's no reason you should be putting the ball in CJ Strauss' hands where there's been so many questions and the media loves targeting him. Why don't you get some heat off him? Give Montgomery the rock. Roc: Stroud threw 55 times. He had 350, C-Dub: You're not gonna win! Roc: 350 yards passing, zero touchdowns. He's the first quarterback to have had 350 plus passing yards and zero touchdowns in a game. They threw the ball 55 times. It's not like you got yourself into a shootout. I agree. They should have ran the ball more. They they weren't having any s any success. Their leading rusher was CJ Stroud with 29 yards. So it's a tough spot to be put in. But man, the Texans, they they were like a lot of people's preseason. like hot bet to win the AFC because that defense is legit. I get there there if C-Dub: I took I took him to an AFC. I did. Roc: 'cause if I thought if you could just get fifteen to twenty twenty quarterback play, not even top fifteen to top twenty quarterback play. Nothing crazy from CJ Stroud with that defense. That that's a ten, eleven win team, especially in that division. And if they have a home playoff game, their their stadium, their crowd is is good. Damico Ryan is a good coach. I I just This to be fair, this is Demigo Ryan's fourth year coaching them, and this is their third 0 2 start. And the other two years they've made the playoffs and won a playoff game both those other years. So it's a long season still. Obviously they could turn around. They've showed us in the past that they have, but it's like Yep. C-Dub: As a as a non ball knower. Is he not a good head coach? Roc: I I think he's a really good head coach. He's a defensive coach. He's a he's a defensive C-Dub: That's that's where I'm going off of. Roc: coach and that's why they're def and I the way I see it is if for a head coach, right? If you're head coach of the league and you're considered an offensive guy or a defensive guy, then your side of the ball better be better be the reason why you win. And the defense is the reason why they're winning. So I don't know if they gotta get a new offensive coordinator. I know that they Stroud, I forget who the the old one was. They when the Stroud's rookie year when he went out and balled and put up all these gaudy numbers and everyone said he was the next guy, their offensive coordinator, him and Stroud didn't see eye to eye and they fired him. And since then, Stroud's declined, declined, declined. So I think Demico Ryan's is a good coach. I think they need an offensive coordinator though to to lift him up, personally. C-Dub: Yeah, I I mean I t as I g again I took them to win the AFC. I thought as you said, if CJ Strouds kinda sits in the middle of the quarterback pack, they should be a good team. I mean, granted, they're down tank tank and Nico right now, so it's like I don't know how much it changes if you get them back. I mean, I think he still might be a s a stinker. I'm just not sure. Before we move on though, Rocco, I have a question for you. Roc: Yeah. C-Dub: What do you think the Bengal Super Bowl odds are right now? Where would you put them? Roc: Like in a perspective like top ten or like actual odds? C-Dub: No, what what do you think their odds are? Actual odds. Roc: Plus twelve hundred maybe? C-Dub: Seventeen hundred. Roc: Really? C-Dub: Seventeen hundred. Yes. And there's another team that's plus nine fifty. Can you guess what team that is? Roc: Would that be the Houston Texans? C-Dub: No. Roc: okay, jeez. Ravens? C-Dub: Keep thinking. Yep. Money. The Roc: Ravens. C-Dub: Ravens are plus nine fifty, even though the Bengals are favored to win that division. I I mean I don't think that's a bad bet. I don't think it's a bad bet. Roc: Coming into the year, I'm pretty sure. Well, coming into the year, I'm pretty sure the Ravens win total was eleven and a half, which was the highest in the entire league. So they C-Dub: Yep. Yep. Roc: obviously were high on Minter, Declan Doyle, the new offensive coordinator. They think Lamar was gonna go up and show show up and put up numbers just like MVP Lamar. And yeah, I mean if the if the Bengals defense is legit, or at least better than twenty eighth, and because their offense will pick it up, that's never never a question of me. It plus seventeen hundred is not not bad. Not bad bet, honestly. C-Dub: That that's that's that's my one take. I looked into this 'cause I was very 'cause I know I I remember s seeing how high the Ravens were with their win total and their odds with the Super Bowl. I just wanted to give that a look and I'm very surprised that that line hasn't moved more. Roc: I and I don't want to gloss this over. That Jamar catch was ridiculous. That's one of the best catches I've I've I've ever seen. The adjustment and to get the C-Dub: Yeah. Roc: toe tap down, that's like just a true professional. He's he's ridiculous. So I I I wanted C-Dub: Yeah. Roc: just to say that before we move on to the next game. C-Dub: Yeah, and we we come to expect that from a but that was incredible. Roc: Yes. next game Packers Jets. Twenty to seventeen O T game. Jets blow a C-Dub: I was way too invested. I was way too invested in this game. I this game, I I loved it. I watched the whole thing. Roc: Jets blew a 10-point lead with 11 minutes left going into the fourth quarter. I've invested in the Jets whole season basically because I gave an offseason take. And I my take was that the Jets were my sleeper slash sneaky fun team this offseason. I I think that they're gonna be in a lot of games. Ultimately they're gonna lose a lot because they want to lose the games and they want to have the high pick and get a quarterback. But Just looking at the team, they've invested so much in their offensive line. I think they actually have like a top five offensive line. Their weapons, Garrett Wilson, Brees Hall, Kenyon Sadiq, they just took out of Oregon, Omar Cooper, they just took out of Indiana. Like they have weapons left and right. It really just all comes down to the QB play. And I think if you get Gino from when he was in Seattle, just competent Q B play, they'll put up points and they'll be in games. And they'll C-Dub: Yeah. Roc: be like a fun team. So I I watched this game. through and through, also like more invested than I should be, because I'm not a fan of either of these teams and I I really don't care about how either season goes. But I mean the Jets dominated the entire game. It was it was bad weather, but they were winning the entire game. And then that fourth quarter just like I can't even explain it. C-Dub: I mean it's it's to the point where it's Aaron Glen bad. Roc: Yeah, I think he's his I I don't think he's a NFO coach. I mean, how do you not d this is what's ridiculous. How do you not use a timeout before in the last like minute of regulation to try and get points and win the game? How do just let the clock burn down and just punt it and say, you know what, we're gonna take into overtime. C-Dub: Against a Yeah. Yeah. Roc: Like that just doesn't make any sense to me. And then in overtime they took the ball first. C-Dub: a take on this. I mean I've I've I've heard it from other people, but like do you think did Gino fuck that up? Do you think Gino fucked that Roc: I I actually C-Dub: up? Roc: that's weird I had that in my notes. I said that I think Glenn took the fall for Gino 'cause he didn't know the overtime overtime rules. I I was reading that on Twit I saw that on Twitter. Yeah. I saw that on Twitter. C-Dub: I saw that too. And I s it's been all over I've seen that around. I I don't think it's like a heavy I haven't seen that everywhere, but I've seen it in some places. Like I think it was also that. And kind of to go back to what you're saying about that fourth quarter, I think with Matt LaFr LaFleur, how he's start how his how it's been going with them and Aaron Glenn, it was a team it was a game of chicken where both teams love to swerve. They both love Roc: Yeah. C-Dub: they love the let the letdown spot in the fourth quarter. And Roc: Yes. C-Dub: I think They both swerved, but the giant the the jets swerved worse. Roc: Yeah, I I I agree. And getting onto the Packers side of things, that low key huge win for the Packers. C-Dub: Yeah. Roc: Like, if you start off the season 0-2 in the NFC North, that division's gonna be really good. Obviously, last year, what they had two ten win teams or a nine C-Dub: Yeah. Roc: win team and ten win team that missed the playoffs. That division's gonna be really good. And it is a sneaky big win for LaFleur. This would have been their seventh straight loss going into from last year. Since Micah went down with his ACL, that's just like that's kind of hot seat material if you lose seven straight with one guy going down. Like, I don't know. So it it brought up question for me. I don't I want to hear your thoughts. Is is Micah low key the mo one of the most valuable players in the entire league? C-Dub: I mean I think he c I th I I mean you kinda you have to say yes. You have to say yes. 'Cause I think 'cause Roc: 'Cause when he was out there I told me he's C-Dub: LaFleur is one of those like marquee coaches where I mean, Roc: Boy genius. C-Dub: I think a lot of the Packers fans are hot on him, and rightfully so, but like he's in picked up right away. Roc: Yeah. a hundred percent I agree. Yeah. If he g if he gets fired, you give him ten minutes and somebody's calling. So C-Dub: Yeah. And like I I I've seen s maybe I'm in the echo chambers on Twitter when I see like Packers fans Roc: Yeah. C-Dub: talking about him. But I mean I feel like a lot of people put him on the hot seat. He's a good coach. I think I think you might be you might be right there. Roc: Yeah, I mean obviously Micah's incredible talent, but the fact that their defense was humming those first what eight, nine weeks when he was out there, and then he tears his ACL and they can't win a game since. They C-Dub: Yeah. Roc: were and six. That's just it's incredible to me. So I that was I wanna say that was a that was a big win, honestly, C-Dub: Yeah. Roc: for the Packers. Obviously it's only week two, but falling behind in that division and with like the hot seat rumors, just a big win for them to get get back on track. C-Dub: Yeah. Last thing I'll say on that game. Brees Hall was my lump my one leg that didn't hit from the the the bets I I put out there. and I'll just say this. If you told me that Brees Hall had twenty nine rush yards on sixteen carries, which were his final stats, I would have told you that the Jets were getting shit pumped. And they weren't. I don't understand. Yeah, yeah, he was. I mean, his his t Roc: He he was utilizing the the past game. He had he had he had a big day receiving, which sucks. It's C-Dub: His total for his his like rushing and receiving yards, that hit. But at the same time, if you're Aaron Glenn, you wanna and you're what they did at the end, milk the clock down, be conservative, give him the ball. Roc: Especially with the weather that was going on, it was raining the whole game. Raining the whole C-Dub: Yeah, give him the ball. I mean, you y Roc: day. C-Dub: granted, you're you're up you're up how many points? You're up what was it, ten points? In the fourth? I mean, Roc: Ten points, eleven minutes left. Yeah. C-Dub: if you want to burn clock, like, maybe he gets three in a cloud, maybe he gives you a serviceable th third down. I mean, I don't know how I don't know if it changes anything. Granted, non ball knower. But like he had sixteen carries, twenty nine rush yards. I would have told you that the Jets were getting blown out. And they weren't. Roc: They they were winning the whole game. Hey, C-Dub: So that's all that's all I got. That's all I got there. Roc: man enough to admit it. What is it? Not proud of it? Man enough to admit it. It was w w C-Dub: I am, I am. I but hey. Roc: it was one of those beats. All right. Game five, Vikings, Bears, nine to three. We got ugly football. C-Dub: This was my an my annual. I have one of these each week one or two. It's it's a gotta look at the weather game. And that's and that I I took s I Roc: Yeah, yeah. C-Dub: I I took Rome, he barely hit, but at the same time, like no one else hit their overs. That's a one where I gotta I gotta look at the weather. Roc: I when you sent me in your plays for our for our post for our our best bets of the day, I almost was gonna say, Dub, I I don't know if I like that run play because the weather it it sucked. Like the over under in this game was like fifty four and a half. Something crazy high. Obviously Bears offense ridiculous, but Vikings defense is incredible. When I saw the weather report and it just a hail storm raining the entire day, I was like, I don't know if you could take touch any of the overs, honestly. C-Dub: Yeah. Roc: And obviously the big the big news from that game was the Caleb scare. C-Dub: I got a new segment. Don't nope. I got a new segment. It's called jail time. It's called jail time. Roc: Yeah. Love it. C-Dub: I believe Caleb Wilson should Caleb Williams should be in jail for how he responded to that injury. After the pain we'll talk about it later. After the pain that me and you had to go through and the hope that we had. I Roc: Yeah. I know. C-Dub: took him in I had him on I have him on two fantasy teams. I was looking at the waiver wire that like activates fuck fucking tomorrow. Looking at quarterbacks out there. I was Roc: Yeah. C-Dub: I I was I was I'm debating like taking like Drew Locke. Just to hear that he's out for like fucking what? Like not even that much time. He's week to week. In Roc: He's weak to weak. He's weak to weak right now. But C-Dub: jail time at least NFL should find him. There should be a find somewhere that you should be able to put on him for the performance that he put on. Roc: When when he went down, it it looked it looked scary. I mean obviously non con non contact. I thought at C-Dub: It did! It did! Nun yeah, it did. Roc: first it was I thought at first it was an Achilles 'cause it was non contact. He just he fell down. And so I thought it was like Achilles. He turns over, he's screaming. Obviously injuries are injuries. I don't wish that on anyone and everyone's reaction's different. So like I'm not gonna sit here and be like, Yo, you gotta man up, you gotta man up. But I thought that that was gonna be like season under or like a Dak Prescott injury from two, three years ago when he ripped his hi hamstring off the bone and he was out for eleven weeks and missed the final eleven weeks of season. I thought it was gonna be something like that. So I'm I'm a Caleb fan, so I'm glad that C-Dub: I am too. Roc: we dodged a bullet with that and I we can watch him probably in two, three weeks. C-Dub: Yep. New new segment. After after jail time, I'm gonna do a follow-up one. New NFL rule segment. We'll work on a better name for that. I think if you're getting carded off and you put a thumb up, you should be out minimum five weeks. Roc: Yeah. C-Dub: Minimum five weeks. If you're giving thumbs ups to the crowd, that's five weeks. Automatic. No room for debate. Roc: We C-Dub: Cause if you're giving thumbs up, you're out. You're out. Like you n Roc: Yeah. C-Dub: you think something's bad bad's happened as a player. Roc: The optics of it did not look good. Towl over the head, tears coming down. C-Dub: It it did not. I think it's a new it's a new rule. It's a new rule. I'm gonna I'm gonna we're gonna get good we're gonna that's a white whale, goodell. And I'm I'm gonna Roc: Let's trade let's trademark that. C-Dub: Yes, I d I just don't I just if you're putting a thumb up, just you should have you should not be able to walk for like minimum two weeks, get surgery or some shit. I don't know. I don't know. But that's my take. Roc: But Bear Bears dodged a bullet. I'm I'm happy that he's obviously not hurt. Viking side of C-Dub: for sure, yeah. Roc: things, their defense is their defense is insane. Brian Flores C-Dub: Yeah. Roc: is a sicko. He will blitz you getting off the bus. They just send pressure on pressure on pressure. The weather, it it fed into how they like to play. They they wanted that to be an ugly game. They wanted to muck muck it up. They Bears high flying, 60 points off 60 point offense performance. They wanted that rain to come down. They wanted to blitz. Blitz and Blitz. And kudos. Wentz. He did enough. He did his job. Won the two games while Kyler is out. Kyler got cleared from concussion protocol. He's gonna come back, name the starter again for next week. So I mean, hats off to Wentz. Did what you're supposed to do as a as a backup quarterback. And I mean, it wasn't pretty, but here are the Vikings sitting at the top of the NFC North. C-Dub: Yep. And this is the third segment that I'm adding for this, so we're working up on a lot here. it's fantasy pooper. Colsa Colson Loveland is a fantasy pooper. So far. I think he'll wake up, but r for Roc: Yeah, I I I I have him also. C-Dub: now he's a pooper. Roc: I have him brutal. Just just brutal. C-Dub: And I I don't know how he ran his routes or anything like that, but I didn't I honestly didn't watch enough of this game to form an opinion on how he played. But it's Roc: Well, week one he was just doing cardio. This this week they they were giving him some looks, but again, I I thought he was gonna be the guy that just ascends and takes the next next step because he was their best offensive player last year outside of Caleb Williams. Like he was his favorite target down the stretch. And last year, rookie year, they got off he got off to a slow start to begin. So I'll give him the benefit of the doubt there. Maybe it's just a slow start to start the year and he'll pick it up. Hopefully it does for my fantasy team and just the fact that I like him. C-Dub: Yeah. Roc: But backup Tyson Bajent went in and he's now in concussion protocol. So this week's game against the Eagles, the Bears, Eagles Monday night game, we're looking at maybe a case Keenum sighting. For all of the yeah. We're that's just my final note on that that game. C-Dub: Not against it. I'm not against it. Not against it. We'll see what happens. Yep. Roc: next one, Titans, Eagles, Eagles twenty-four, Titans twenty. C-Dub: Take here. Roc: Go ahead. C-Dub: Titans might not be bad? Roc: It is hot. That's hot. C-Dub: I mean I like I like Cam Roc: It's warm. It's warm. C-Dub: I I like Cam. Tony Pollard played well. There I mean Spears played well. I mean Roc: They ran the ball. C-Dub: they ran the ball well and I mean I and why I say that is it also might be a t it's either Titans might not be bad or Eagles play everyone close. Roc: My note on this game was same old Eagles. They look like shit and somehow find a way to win. It's every single year. Last year, year before that, they they just don't look like they're clicking. They have all the AJ Brown drama last year. Him and Jalen Hurts just aren't on the same page. Their offense looks stagnant. And then somehow they they end up winning eleven games. Or they end up coming out on top. So it's just I just had the same old Eagles that they play an ugly game. They have too many turnovers and then When the bells rang, they end up on top. Jalen Hurst goes and leads him down. Eat and he he's a winner at the end of the day. Like I do I think he's one of the best quarterbacks in the league? I personally don't. But the dude wins. And if you're an Eagles fan, you gotta you gotta ride with him. I mean, obviously. C-Dub: Another hot take. I would I mean I mean, I don't think he's I I I agree Jalen Hurts is the best, but like I would kill to have a consistent quarterback like that. That he he he's he doesn't have like bad games. He runs. He'll throw to his targets. I mean he'll get you he'll get you yards. I mean he keeps you in g I mean it again it's the Titans, but he keeps you in games. I mean that final drive was a master class. I mean Devontae Smith. We'll talk about it later. I I I I got a segment at the end for you, Rock. I actually Roc: Dog. C-Dub: have What is this, my maybe sixth segment that we're trying out? this new segment is called Financial Terr Roc: Why not? C-Dub: Financial Terrorists. Financial terrorist number one on the terrorist on the watch list is Saquon Barkley. Roc: I I was just about to say he was he was one of my bets bets for the Sunday slate. First play of the game. C-Dub: Okay, if you go out before the first half if you if you go out before the first half, just let's activate that bet protect. These let's let's activate bet protect. Let's let's just sit Roc: Yeah. No, not not even not even Hey, not it. C-Dub: out. Let's be okay. Let's let's hey Roc: Not even for the bet safe. For the player safety. Sit out, man. Sit out. I don't want to see. Cause C-Dub: For the player safety no, we love player safety. We love that. Roc: I'm also a Saquon fan. Like, to be fair, yes, he left the Giants and went to the Eagles. And the people look at it as like a rat move. But the Giants didn't do anything to help him. And he was a C-Dub: No. Roc: true, true vet, true professional those five, six years that he was with the Giants. But man, first play of the game, you get kind of he kind of got stuck up. And you have a stinger. Sit out. You've had injury C-Dub: Yeah. Roc: history in the past. Sit out. Let's get voided. Let's get voided. So hand up to the listeners C-Dub: I don't I don't yeah. Roc: that tailed that. I thought he was due. He hasn't had a hundred yard game in in a minute. Going back to his offensive play of the year two years ago when he was just running for a buck thirty every single week and finding the end zone. So I thought against the Titans this would be a get right game. And I took his eighty total yards. Nothing even crazy. Eighty total yards and missed the entire first half. Comes back in and hand up, hand up. I I I I led you guys in the wrong direction. C-Dub: Also f final thing there, honorable honorable mention for a financial terrorist. He's on a watch list, but he's not there yet. Josh Allen for getting 248 passing yards instead of the two fifty Roc: That that was a C-Dub: that I had. He played well. Roc: That's brutal. C-Dub: They played well. They played enough to just s they they they handle business, but that one really hurt. Roc: Yeah. C-Dub: Okay. Next game. Roc: next game, Saints Ravens. Saints twenty four, Ravens seventeen. Shuck is a baller, man. He is a baller. C-Dub: Chuck is. Shuck is. Roc: I I love watching him play. I I love that offense. I think Kellen Moore's a great, great coach because he's the offensive mind and I just like their passing game. They they throw that pillar around left and right. And Olave and Shuck, they have a good connection going. I mean Olave's Been a stud. Coming out of Ohio State, beast. The only thing with him is just injury concerns. He's always gotten banged up. His brain is like jelly almost. He's he takes shots. He takes shots. So I I pray he stays healthy and I I love watching this Saints offense play. Going into Baltimore and coming back and getting the win after a first half that the Ravens dominated. Like they they looked like they were they were just gonna cruise. Go on cruise control. Maybe not like blow him out, but Probably cover and Saints fought back. I I love watching this Saints team. C-Dub: Yeah. I I will give some flowers. That's no say flowers. I'll give some flowers to the Ravens. Bateman, I mean he stepped up. that was a good performance from him. but I will this I think there's a common theme that I'm I I'm just saying this a lot. I mean, Derek Henry, sixteen carries, sixty eight total yards. why I mean Roc: My note my note, why stop why why'd you guys stop running Henry? That w my my only C-Dub: Huh? Roc: note from the Ravens side was why would you stop running him? He had eleven carries for fifty one yards in the first half and found the end zone. That first drive, he he literally had six carries for forty yards and a touchdown. And he had five carries for seventeen yards the rest of the game. I feel like it's just a common theme that the Ravens do, no matter who's coaching now, because it's Jesse Minter and Declan Doyle, offensive coordinator, not even a hardball thing. Why aren't you feeding him? Like if you wanna win, he's yes, he's thirty-two, whatever it is, he's still in his prime somehow. So that was my only note on the Ravens was like, dude, why are you stopped feeding Henry? C-Dub: Yep. And I I know it's too early to do this, but Rocco, question for you. where do you think Olave's gonna fall? I mean, let's like let's like time warp, week five. Where do you think Olave's gonna rank in top receivers? Roc: If he stays healthy the entire five weeks, that were I think he'll he'll be C-Dub: Yep, yep, let's just let's just how the Saints are playing right now, I mean, I don't know about their schedule, I haven't looked ahead, but like where do you think he falls? Roc: I think he'll be top seven in receiving yards by week five. C-Dub: Yeah. I mean I have my list right here of like my top five that I have and like he's probably six. I have Roc: Yeah. That's that's right. C-Dub: and you tell me if I'm crazy here, I have JSN. JJ, Jamar Chase, Lamb, and Amin Ra as my top five. Roc: Yep. Mm-hmm. I was gonna say I I I I needed I needed St. Brown in there. He's he's Mr. Consistent. C-Dub: And I think I mean, we just talked about this, this is why I I like this game being right here. I think him and Devontae Smith can I mean, I don't know if they'll crack that top five, but Devontae Roc: Yeah. C-Dub: Smith hell of a game and Chris Olave hell of a game and like hell of a I mean, for Olave hell of a two weeks. Roc: Yeah, and w trust me, we're we're not we're not leaving this game without the boys were barking this week. Rock's live dog of the week plus C-Dub: Hoo hoo hoo! Roc: plus eight and a half. We were all over the New Orleans Saints. And those boys, they played hard. They played hard for JSP and won outright. It it you need those wins sometimes. C-Dub: Hey Roc: You need C-Dub: Hey, bring it to the next game now. How about that? How about how about that? Bring it to the next one. Roc: Yeah. So next game we got the Browns versus the Bucks. Twenty three to nineteen. C-Dub: Hoo hoo hoo ho! Yeah, and I'll start off with this. 'Cause I I yeah, how about that? Roc: The Browns? Yeah. Floor George. C-Dub: I texted Rocco about this one. I hey, not proud of it, man enough to say it. I'm in a Survivor League, I took the Bucks in the Survivor League. But I mean I thought the Browns I mean I think I I mean I'm not I'm I mean Deshaun Watson was due for one of these games. Don't condone the man, but he was due. It it sucks to lose a serv like it's a two i you got two lives, it sucks to lose one when the Browns win. But hey, I mean the dogs hit we gave out dogs and the dogs hit. Outright, mind you. Roc: Yeah, the boys, the the boys got ugly. They we got gross this week. And both our dogs, both at plus eight and a half, both winning outright. I C-Dub: Yeah. Roc: mean, that that one that one warms the heart. And I I'm I'm just glad that, you know, we we we stuck our necks out for two organizations that might not get the flowers that they deserve. But before we before we leave this one, I have a few things about the Bucs, but one more thing about the Browns. Browns gonna brown. Todd Munkin was fired up. I don't know if you guys saw that, but C-Dub: Okay. Roc: Mike Tomlin went on air after week one, slandered them, slandered their name. great, great. C-Dub: He's a great media guy. He's a great media guy. Roc: Slandered the Browns on Sunday night football for everyone to see. And Todd Munken said, F that. Browns gonna brown. F that. He was fired up. I'm I'm glad. C-Dub: Yeah. Roc: First win for him as head coach. I mean, I I I love the fire. C-Dub: I got a few things to wrap this up too. I'll go quick. I'll go quick here. But Roc: Yeah. Yeah. C-Dub: I like I mean, I've been talking about how teams don't utilize the run enough when they're in winning positions, and I think the Bucks did. I mean, Bucky gets his. I mean, he'll but again, he only had eight total carries and five of those were in the first. Roc: He was ripping in the ripping in the first half. C-Dub: And and I mean, yeah, I mean Bucks on the and again, Bucks on the twenty, fifty seconds left, down four, and they catatonic. I mean, I think you could chalk some of that up to that long rain delay. I mean they were they were moving rock. and lastly, I can't quit I broke back mountain, I can't quit you. I can't quit bake. I'm not I'm not ready. I know he's not been hot, I can't quit him yet. Roc: I I've just been so disappointed. I thought before the year I said Baker was gonna go out there and ball this year because all the doubters this off season, all the contract disputes and disrespect that was showing, I thought he was gonna go out there and put up put up a year and we still have a long season ahead of us, so hopefully he goes out there and does 'cause I I like I l I love the big show. I love going out there and watching him play. But man, against his old team revenge game against the Browns and you put up a dud like that, it just I don't know. I I'm I Not not a fan of all at all of Todd Bowles either. I don't understand how he's still the coach of the Buccaneers. He's not a good coach. C-Dub: No. Roc: He's defense and he's boring and he does not know offense. So letting Liam Collins get out the out the door there and what he's doing with Jacksonville now, I that one I think it it hurts them. C-Dub: Yeah. Last yeah, and my last thing here. I I got I got some hot takes, I guess, on some some theories I have, but tell me if you disagree. I don't feel like the Bucks have a one a number one wide receiver. Roc: I think they're expecting a Mecca to be to be that. C-Dub: I d I don't I don't know if he's gonna be a one. I don't know how he's gonna pan out. I mean, he was electric last year. I don't think he's I don't know if he's a one. And I and let me say here, I say the same thing about the Bills. I don't think they have a one. But when you have Josh Allen and he can run the ball like that and you've got Cook, I mean, Shakir, is he a top two receiver on any other team? Roc: I mean, he's just a slot gadget guy. C-Dub: Is but like the yards he gets, he I mean, he does good, but like I don't I I I I think about other teams, like would he be getting the looks he has if he if he wasn't on if he had better wide receivers around him? I'm not sure. I think it's the same thing with the Bucks. I mean, they st they have a mecha. I think he didn't he get in for one. He Roc: Yeah, he did. C-Dub: got in for one, but like I mean I know they try to target him at that on that final drive and everything too, but I just I don't know I don't know. He's have to show me a lot more to convince me that he's a he's a one guy. Roc: And he he never had to be a one in college. Ohio State, he was next to Olave, next to Garrett Wilson, C-Dub: And he had my gu yeah. Roc: and next to next to Marv. So like that that's a legit question. I I think he's a dog. I think he's really good, but that's a legit question. Is he gonna be a number one? And he's gonna have to go out there and prove it. Yeah. He's gonna have to go out there and prove it. C-Dub: And he a and he had Mike. He had Mike. I mean, yeah. Yeah. Roc: next Chargers Raiders Raiders twenty six Chargers fourteen. Are the Raiders good? C-Dub: I think they are if Kirk keeps playing like if Kirk plays like he did in week two. I think they are. I Roc: Are they good? C-Dub: think they are. And I mean the Chargers are a massive letdown spot. Tough loss for them, but let me tell you the real loss here is America. Roc: No medicine beer footage this week or what? C-Dub: No, I I I lost you for a sec there, but I will repeat what I said. Roc: okay, okay. C-Dub: The real loss Wait, we're struggling here. Let me wait till you're back to give this takeout. There you are. Roc: okay. C-Dub: The real loss here is America. Roc: Yeah, why why? I no I said my my guess was n no Madison beer footage or what? C-Dub: Spot on. You know me too well. I mean, come on c come on here. Come on now. Roc: Yeah. And C-Dub: I mean We'll move on from that, but real loser. I I also I I I Roc: Week week one she was fitted. She was fitted week one. C-Dub: and week two, but w besides the point. I'm I I wanted to ask you this question. I know there's always an I call it I call it the autocorrect for like after week one. A lot of teams equ the equilibrium kind of shifts. I Roc: Yeah, yeah. C-Dub: just am not sure if I don't I I'm just not sure if the Chargers have corrected in the good way and the Raiders have corrected in the bad way. And I think the Raiders might be good. I mean, Max Crosby on the line eating. I mean, I just that that's my question. Like, is this like an did the auto correct forget to happen here? Roc: I don't know. I that I genuinely don't know if the Raiders are good and I don't understand what is wrong with the Chargers. Like this is just both these teams just it's not making sense to me. And I I wanna go back. Kirk's playing well. Another multi touchdown game. And I don't understand the group of people that wanted to just throw Mendoza out there and start in week one. Like Kirk Cousins is a vet. He is a true professional. He's been in the league. He's had killer years. When he was on the Vikings, he had years where he was going for forty five hundred plus yards, thirty plus touchdowns. So I don't understand why everyone those groups that were like, Kirk's old, Mendoza should be starting right away. Mendoza, as as good as he is, he's not ready yet for the NFL. Like he took minimal snaps under center in college and ran the most RPOs in the entire country. That just doesn't translate to the NFL. So I think this is This is a blessing in disguise for Raiders fans that they got off to this hot start. Keep Mendoza on the bench for for right now. Let him learn under Kirk. They're the exact same person, it seems like. So C-Dub: Mm-hmm. Roc: I I'm I'm glad that Kirk's doing well. They'll get they'll get Brock Bowers back soon. I'm pretty sure in a week, week or two, if all the reports that I've seen. They said he they C-Dub: Yep. Should be like I think it was like four weeks, right or something? Yeah, so maybe a week or two. Roc: said he might only miss two weeks and it's been two weeks, so hopefully they get him back and he's a stud. So Raiders, that's all I have with the Raiders, but C-Dub: Yeah, same. Roc: the Chargers, it's just it's not making any sense to me. You brought in Mike McDaniel and he's i an offensive wizard, and you pair him up with this behemoth if Justin Her Herbert in huge arm can move like just beast and it's just not working. They had six fumbles yesterday. Six. Like, I don't even understand what's going on. It's just not making sense to me. I don't know C-Dub: It's not. It's not. Roc: if it's like stylistic, because like McDaniels had Tua he had Waddle and he had Tyreek and he had HN in Miami and it was more just speed, quick, dumping thinking dump. And to his arms, nothing compared to Herbert's. And you can't really do the same with Johnson and Ladd as your two wide receivers. They're not they're not Waddle and Reek. So I don't know if it's something to do with that. And all the hype in the offseason, it's just I I don't know. It's it's just not making sense. They're good. Yeah. C-Dub: They're not They're not model and Reek, but they're they're sir they're serviceable. They're serviceable. Roc: Ladd's good. Johnson's good when he catches the ball. It's like C-Dub: Yeah. Yeah. Roc: and so it's just not making sense. So I'm just gonna give him the benefit of the doubt, but their schedule these next like six weeks, it is a gauntlet. So C-Dub: it's hell. It's hell. Roc: like there's a r reasonable chance the way that they've looked these first two weeks that they might not win until Thanksgiving. Like they could start off the year 0-9, which is crazy C-Dub: D'accord. Roc: because they were Herbert was like top three in MVP preseason odds. Chargers were everyone's sneaky pick to win Super Bowl. It's in LA, them versus Rams, and it's like just not clicking. And before we get off this game, I have a little Herbert hot take. I sent it into the Jersey swap the other day. If things do sputter out with the Chargers and they have a horrible year, miss the playoffs, let's say they do start off one and eight, and nine, two and seven, whatever it may be, and they miss the playoffs totally. This is the first time in his career that I've seen Justin Herbert look like he's like fed up with football and fed up with the organization and with the offensive line. My hot take is I could see him pulling an Andrew Luck and just retiring and going and doing Hollywood and doing media and trying to be a superstar. He already has engaged some medicine beer, superstar girlfriend. I can see him just going and doing Hollywood. He's a smart guy, four point bio major at Oregon. I don't I don't think like football is his entire personality, kinda like Andrew Luck. And I he just looks fed up. So I think if it's a C-Dub: Yeah. Roc: hot take, obviously, 'cause he's a stud. But he already got his bag and I don't know. That's I could see him walking away from the game. C-Dub: Yeah, I I don't have I d I mean you bring up really good points there. I don't really have a rebuttal, but I mean I think football would lose a a a good player, but Roc: it sucks. C-Dub: it would suck. But yeah. I I I I mean it's not cr I think it's hot, but it's not cra it's not outlandish. Yeah, so that's all I got on that. Roc: Yeah. next game, Broncos Jags. Broncos twenty Jaguars thirteen. I mean, this was C-Dub: I didn't watch this game a lot, so I'll let you take over. I mean, my whole thing was I think the Broncos will be okay. Roc: I I was gonna say you didn't if you didn't watch much of the game, it was first half, second half, night and day. First half, the Broncos offense just looked absolutely atrocious, couldn't move the ball, couldn't couldn't click on anything. And in the second half they came out and they were moving left and right, finally got waddled a rock. Bo looked good. And it it was really night and day. I I'm in agreement. I think that a lot of people overreacted to that first week one against the Chiefs. And Not not an overreaction because they they did look really, really bad. So I think it was appropriate. But I think that the Broncos are a good team and that they they will be okay. And I think this was just a big, a big win for the Broncos and Davis Webb, who's their new offensive coordinator in play calling. This is first time in Sean Payton's career that he's not calling plays. He gave it to Davis Webb. And after that week one performance at halftime, you could see Sean Payton when they were talking to him, he was like, I want to take the plays back. I want to take the play calling back. This is I this is hard to watch. So I think it was a big, big win to get the monkey off his back for Davis Webb and to get Sean Payton just to to back off just a little bit. Because I I personally C-Dub: Completely agree. Roc: there's there's a lot of people that doubt Bo Nicks and have questions about Bo Nex. I personally I think he's good player. And that defense is legit. So I I think the Broncos will be okay. I I think they're a good good team. Especially if you have to go into Denver and play. It's that's a tough place, tough place to win. C-Dub: That'll be good. Last thing on this. I I again I didn't watch much but I looked at the stats just to kind of familiarize myself to be able to talk about this game. Do you remember when Brian Roc: Yeah. C-Dub: Robinson was him? Roc: Yeah. C-Dub: I looked at his stats, I I didn't write him down, but like all I have was remember when he was him. I i Brian Thomas, I meant Brian Thomas, sorry. Roc: Brian Brian Thomas, right? Yes. C-Dub: Yes. Roc: That his rookie year he went for fourteen hundred yards. In double digit touchdowns, C-Dub: Yeah. Roc: I think. And I i I don't understand it either. Yeah. Yeah. C-Dub: See I fre I forgot his name. I forgot his name 'cause he's just not existent. Like I I like this guy was like gotta draft in fantasy, gotta do this and that and it's just the Jags are good and he's th the Jags are I think they'll be good. They play good. Th I love yeah, they'll be fine, but Roc: Yeah, yeah. Especially in that division. Especially in that division too. C-Dub: he's n he's not. Roc: Yeah. It was very under underwhelming day from just the Jaguars offense. The only one that was doing anything was Parker Washington. He he had himself a day, but just after that first week against the Browns and T Law and all of them, they were clicking left and right on all cylinders. Very, very underwhelming. And obviously the Broncos defense is good. So I mean C-Dub: Yeah, very true. Very true. I might that might be a non Bollinower take, but I I just remember when he was the guy. Roc: No, it's n he was nasty. His rookie year got off the scene and he was just putting up numbers. And these past two years has been a struggle. last thing I had from that was fantasy bad beat. I had Jalen Waddle on my bench. And C-Dub: Hate to see it. Roc: he put up eight for one thirty eight. So C-Dub: Happens. Roc: on to the next. Dolphins, Niners, I don't have much. I I just have C-Dub: A game was played. I'll say it again, a game was a football game was played on Sunday. Roc: Niners thirty five, Finn's thirteen. I said di Niners look dominant. They got a little bit of bunnies for weeks two and three. They played the Dolphins and the Cardinals to adjust coming back from Australia, which the NFL, I think that they they rewarded them for taking that seventeen hour flight. C-Dub: Something there. Something there. Roc: The the only question I have is can the Niners stay healthy? It's a question every single year. They have stars everywhere. If they can stay healthy, C-Dub: Great question. Roc: if they can stay healthy, then they can compete, especially in the NFC West. You got the Seahawks and the Rams. They already got the win over the Rams. It's if they can stay this team, they were playing fifth string linebackers last year and won thirteen games in a road playoff C-Dub: Yeah. Roc: game in Philadelphia. Brock Purdy missed eight games last year. Mac Jones was balling out. So if they stay healthy, I just don't see how they they aren't a good team. C-Dub: This might this also might be a hot take from me. So honest take here from you, Rock. I think the Niners are good, but it's I I'm still not sold because it's tough to give an opinion after the Dolphins, who are in Roc: Yeah. C-Dub: tank mode and the Rams week one, where I think they kind of I don't know if they botched the travel thing, but they definitely didn't do it right. And I mean after they played Roc: Didn't help. Didn't help them. Yeah. C-Dub: we'll talk about it later, after they played against the G Men, I mean it's I mean, they look electric, but at the same time it's I don't I'm not completely sold on Niners just yet. And again, that's stay healthy and all that. But I I mean I think they're gonna be I believe they're gonna be a playoff team, they're gonna be good, but I guess we'll see. Roc: Yeah. No, I I think that's just what it all comes down to. If they're healthy, they're Kyle Shanahan's an unbelievable offensive coach. And what's his name? Raheem Morris is back. Or no, he's he's on the Rams. But they if they stay healthy, I don't see really how they're they're not gonna be competitive how they're not competitive. That division's tough and it's it's gonna be it's gonna be a battle, three way battle in NFC West. And just make sure that they're healthy. Stay away from the substation. The electrical substation and get get your joints right. C-Dub: Get your voice right. Love it. Next game. Roc: next game. Yeah, Cowboys thirty seven, commanders twenty. I just had injuries suck, man. That was gross. C-Dub: They We'll get to it a lot later. And I we a little sneak peek. We were going to try and do the podcast after the Monday night game. We both couldn't. Not in the right headspace, Roc: Yeah, I couldn't bring myself to do it. C-Dub: but that sucks. And I mean I think the commanders they were gonna be exciting. They were I mean, they were in that game. They that was a game. and Roc: Yeah. C-Dub: then now they're and two going to play the Seahawks. Roc: No J D. That and the fact that they just kept on showing the injury, kept on showing his elbow, popping. It just it was nasty and it sucks because Jane Daniels is s so electric. And he is very slim. He is very, very skinny. And that's been the knock on him when he was coming in the draft. But man, I it's so much fun to watch him play when he's healthy C-Dub: It is. Roc: and it sucks that he's just not. Cowboys side of things, I said offense so good. Defense. So bad. C-Dub: Well, I I feel like that was kinda the take going into this and it's playing out exactly how they thought. They they shared up some things on the defense, but again, I mean I mean this is a team that it's gonna be shootout after shootout. I I mean I love diggs. He hit for my receptions. I had his over receptions, so that was a good that was a good green to see through. Last thing I'll say on this, another segment. I love segments. Best Fake Celebration goes to Stephon Diggs. Roc: Yeah. C-Dub: I I I love that guy. I love that guy. I love that guy. Roc: He's a baller. He's a baller. Say what you want. Every team that he goes to every team that he goes to, he makes the quarterback better. He makes the quarterback better. C-Dub: He's good. He's good. And he he was a free agent for so long. I li And his Nox his Nox a diva and everything, but like every other freaking guy's a diva. I you could maybe say Justin Jefferson's not because he was a good sport with nine and all that all the stuff that happened last Roc: Yeah. C-Dub: year. But at the same time, it's he puts up numbers. Roc: It does? C-Dub: Wherever he goes, he puts up numbers. And he doesn't have these relationships with these quarterbacks for a while. I mean he d he's good. Roc: He's in he's in and out every every year. It's it's maybe there for two years. He was there when Allen took the big jump in Buffalo. He was there for Stroud when Stroud had his rookie year and took his jump. And they thought they were gonna do the same for Jaden Daniels. He was Patriots last year with Drake May when he came on the scene. Wherever he goes, he he's a quarterback's best friend. C-Dub: He's a love or hate guy. And I get that. I mean, he he does these things in the offseason, Cardi B, all that. He's always in the media, and Roc: Yeah, yeah. C-Dub: most of the time for the wrong reasons, but kick a ball. Roc: Between the white lines, between the light li white lines, I I'm a fan. C-Dub: He probably does some lines in the off season too. different different kind of white lines. Roc: last thing, Cowboys defense, I didn't think that it could could have gotten worse from last year, but they let up over a hundred and eighty rushing yards to the commanders and nearly four hundred yards to Marcus Mariota. So that's just my last point. That's i that's all you C-Dub: Yep. Yep. Roc: really need to hear. C-Dub: That's it. Yep. Roc: Seahawks, Cardinals, thirty-one to seven Seahawks. JSN's a dog. Three C-Dub: Yeah. Money. Roc: tutty game. I I don't understand how last year he was so unbelievable and this year he might even be better. Is that is that crazy to say he's doing this C-Dub: Yep. He I mean he's one of those guys, he's like Ammin R I think him and Amin Ra are in that category of just give the rock. They're Roc: Yeah. C-Dub: in the give the rock category and if they catch the ball anywhere they are, I think they're they could turn it they could turn it to like a sixty yard touchdown just by doing what they do. Roc: Yeah. So I JSN just JSN dog and Locke looks good. He's no Darnold. I mean he's he's playing his role, backup quarterback, winning games. And somehow the Seahawks Super Bowl champions went under the radar this entire offseason and people like weren't talking about them. Their their C-Dub: Yeah. Roc: defense is fast and young and they're they're good, good football team. C-Dub: They're they're a great football team. And last thing I'll ask you, Rock, Cards got that win in week one against obviously the Chargers who might be a stinker. they got s they got shit pumped here. would you still put them at frisky or are they gonna be bad? Roc: I think they're gonna be bad, but they'll be fun. I think they'll be fun. I I I'm a big Jacoby Brissett, Jay Brizzy. I'm a big fan of him just because he he has that little Jameis quality to him where he just he throws he throws the ball. He chucks it. I touchy subject. Touchy subject. C-Dub: Don't say don't after after the game last don't don't say the J word right now. I can't hear the J I can't I can't I can't hear the J word at the current moment, but I understand what you're saying. I I get it. I understand what you're saying. Roc: And Mar Marvin Harrison, I mean, you guys probably seen the memes going around. He got brutally, brutally wide receiver mogd JSN. JSN went out there, had nine for a hundred and fifty. Marvin Harris Marvin Harrison. C-Dub: Hey, good segment, good segment, wide receiver mocked. Roc: Marvin Harrison. Side by side stat comparison. It was JSN eight for a hundred and fifty and three touchdowns. Marvin Harrison two targets, zero catches, zero yards. So I mean, C-Dub: Yeah. Roc: keep your chin up. He's Only w only the only way is up from here. You can't get you can't get much worse. C-Dub: Truly, truly. It's one of those Colson Loveland guys where you take him because you think the like with it Jacoby, I mean, at least he'll give him some some some yards, but again, it's been looking rough. Roc: Yeah. on to Sunday night football, Colts versus Chiefs. Overtime thriller, Chiefs thirty-three, Colts thirty. Mahomes and Mahomes, he looked good. He looked like he's back. C-Dub: He did. Roc: That offense looks a little bit more explosive than it has the last two years, and it's three years since they got rid of Reek. It's because they have a run game now. You don't go out there and spend big bucks on canine to not feed him the ball. And I like what they're doing. They're just giving him the they're giving him the rock. Yeah. But hey, he got there. Keep feeding him. He he's a stud. And as C-Dub: Hey, took him a whole five. Took him a whole five. But he got there. But he got there. Love it. Love it. Yeah. Roc: long as he stays healthy, because that was his knock when he was in Seattle, he was always explosive, always electric, like could be a home run home run hitter at any point. But he just could never stay healthy. He'd always have that little like hamstring that keeps him out for four to six weeks. C-Dub: Mm-hmm. Roc: If he could stay healthy, it just opens up the Chiefs offense to What we what we think about it, like when you think of Chiefs, you think C-Dub: Yeah. Roc: explosive, you think offense, which hasn't been the case the past three years. And if they have a run game, Mahomes coming off of ACL injury, lean into the run game, it opens up the pass game. I mean, heck, Travis Kelsey looked like he was twenty five again. never a doubt. Over three and a half. C-Dub: W we both smacked. We both smacked. Never a doubt. Never a doubt. Yeah, no, I I took both of those. Beautiful. last thing on this. Shane Steichen. I think he's the reason they lost. what was it, thirty thirty one, thirty one Roc: thirty to twenty seven Chiefs. C-Dub: there was that one play where the Colts lined up and then Staking goes, kill the play. And they took their three. When was that? Was that in overtime? Roc: yeah. No no no no. C-Dub: That was the fourth, right? Roc: Yeah. C-Dub: That was the fourth. I mean, I would understand if it the game was ten to ten. But both offenses were humming. You go for the throat there if you're in KC at Arrowhead playing against Patrick Mahomes and you have a chance to win the game. I mean they took they they they sent it, but at the same time it's like no one's that's this is a spot as a coach where I don't think anyone would have blamed him if they went for it on fourth there. Roc: He he did the same thing in overtime too. The Chiefs got the ball first, went down, kicked a field goal. They had a fourth and five, fourth and six or whatever it was at the fifteen yard line. C-Dub: Yeah. Roc: Brought the offense out. They were gonna go for it. Okay, yes, that's all right, that's yes, they're it was thirty to twenty seven in C-Dub: That was it. That's what I'm talking about. That is exactly that's the play I'm talking about. Yes, no, overtime. Like they he brings them out and it's and it's like you you dial up a play where I don't give a I don't give a shit what what that Colts defense gives you at all, the spagnola, whatever he lines up in. You c you put your best play out there and you run that shit. Roc: Yeah. C-Dub: And if you go down swinging, I tip my cap to you, sir. And arrowhead, you gave us a thriller. Again, and and and again Roc: I was I was excited when they brought the offense out. I was excited. I was like, this is what you should do. C-Dub: I it's like it's like the time was like there was like three minutes left or some shit. It's like Roc: Yeah. C-Dub: I mean I would under again I would understand if it was a defensive game and if it was under if team both teams scored under 15 points where you okay let's let's let's rely on the defense we our we got our points let's keep it moving but dude go for the fucking throat Roc: And it's ridiculous that it it was overtime. The Chiefs already had possession. You get the ball back. You kick in the field goal. You know now that the Chiefs they only need a field goal to win the game. And they've been in that situation a hundred times. Harrison Bucker C-Dub: What was the sa it was like it was like my home's a seven and Roc: Yeah, it's like you you know that spot. Go for the kill if it doesn't if it doesn't work out, like at least you can you can die on the sword that you went C-Dub: You can and no one would blame you. No one would be mad if you went for it there. Roc: No. You get you get more respect. C-Dub: You run a damn play there. You run a damn play there. You put your nuts on you put your nuts on the chopping block. If you lose Roc: Yeah. C-Dub: if you lose, people are still gonna say, damn, what a performance from the Colts after week one. Roc: That is my my exact notes. Colts lost me that didn't go for it on the fourth down. Parentheses grow a pair. I mean, yeah. C-Dub: Call a pair, gr nut up. I know a lot of coaches that would go for it there. Roc: Yeah. now they C-Dub: know. Roc: find themselves now they find themselves in a hole, 0 and 2. And I'm pretty sure they play the Texans next week, so that's kind of a big game in that division. O and two versus 0 and two. If you go down 0 and 3, that's gonna be a tough spot to get out of. So you you put yourself there. And that's that's what you get. Now C-Dub: Yeah. Let's end the pod here. Let's just end the pot here. How about that? Roc: Yeah. C-Dub: No, we have to. We have to. But my take before we even say the two teams, I think time's a flat circle. Roc: Yeah. C-Dub: Time is a flat circle where everything that has happened will happen again. And it happens to the same people. Roc: It sucks. It sucks, man. C-Dub: It happens to the same people. That's that's all I got. Roc: It sucks. Obviously you know what we're referring to. C-Dub: If you don't know what we're talking about, yeah, if you don't know what the f what we're talking about, I don't yeah, that's giant's ramps. Roc: Monday night football, Giants Rams, Rams twenty eight, Giants six, and I had pain, just pain. C-Dub: And I didn't and I'll I'll I did not update my my notes that I'm looking at over here from when from when I finished up like mid afternoon when no news was Roc: Yeah. C-Dub: out. And I had this whole thing of if if the Giants can be serviceable till this point, maybe they win these games, maybe they do this and that, there's still a chance, but I mean there's no we haven't heard a final say but at the same time it's it's grim. Roc: We got hit with yeah, yeah. We got hit with some news this afternoon that Dart's season looks like it's coming to an end. Looks like he's gonna have season ending knee surgery after his second MRI showed that it was worse than it was. And talk about just the roller coaster of emotions for us Giants fans. We see that hit and immediately I thought, ACL, done for the year. Like his knee just bent sideways, just didn't look good. He's holding it. Then you see him walk it off and I've seen multiple times people walk off ACL injuries. So I still wasn't so yeah, C-Dub: all the time. All the time. Roc: so I I still wasn't like, he's fine, he's fine. I was like, it's probably still an ACL injury. This sucks, like whatever. Like I C-Dub: Yeah. Roc: just I didn't have any I didn't have any words to describe it because I just was so upset and just so like just in complete, utter like froze. Like my my face just was froze and I was emotionless. And then you just keep on refreshing Twitter, seeing what the the doctors are saying. You see the the lip reader who says four to six weeks. And we're like, okay, maybe it's four to six weeks. He's not gonna miss that much time. He comes back on the sidelines, he's moving around. There's hope. The hope is that okay, he's gonna miss four or five games, six games, and we'll get him back, and then the bombs drop this afternoon that looks C-Dub: Yeah. Roc: like he's gonna be out for the year. C-Dub: And like I got it right here. Giants next games. Titans. Cardinals. Commanders. Saints. Texans. And then his equals comedies after that again. I mean, I had this whole thing lined up as if if you could ha if if the J word could be serviceable for those five games, I chalked up Titans, Cardinals, and Commanders to wins, even with Jameis. Roc: a three and yeah. C-Dub: like I wouldn't be surprised again, let's say the Saints and the Texans win. But if Jameis can go three and two in the next five games, I think there's they're still life. Roc: That's what your job is as a backup quarterback. Your job is however many weeks you have to play, win be at 500. Be at 500 or above, and you do your job. And that's C-Dub: Yeah. Roc: all you can ask for. So it it does suck that now we have the news that he's he's done for the year, most likely. So now it's just like what we're put in a situation where w what do we do? Do C-Dub: Yeah. Roc: you do you roll with him? I before I get into my thoughts for the giant side of things, I I do want to just just talk Rams side. A little bit. C-Dub: we have to. Roc: Before before we 'cause I I have a lot to say about what I think the Giants. Not a lot, but it just my opinion on it. Rams that they're legit. The that off season hype that everyone was saying, like, seventeen and no, seventeen and and then they go out week one against Niners in Australia and have a stinker and everyone's like, they're old, they're old. They're legit. You have a a seventeen hour flight that they got in six hours before the game started and expect them to go out and play? I mean, sh McVeigh said it after the game. He said, You win some and you learn some. He said he puts that loss on him 'cause you have a coach that just mishandled the arrivement of of a game. But a sixteen hour flight in Australia, yeah, it's a it's just a stupid game, honestly. They C-Dub: Agreed. Roc: the the Rams did all that without two top five players in the NFL. No Puka and no Miles Garrett, and they looked that good. So they're it's gonna be scary hour when they're all at health. Full health. Stafford looked good. They kept him upright. We had zero pass rush the entire game. He literally could've just sat back there for days. It was just we weren't getting home. C-Dub: here. I'm not ready to give Roc: Yeah. C-Dub: up on that defense in that front. I just think I mean, even Roc: Yeah. C-Dub: I, like, Dark goes down and I was in a coma until halftime. And I think you you see the clips of Harbaugh on the sideline, like he looked the entire team looked that way. It's like it's you're Roc: He's a ghost. He's a ghost. C-Dub: shocked. And I didn't even snap back into like really watching the game it to the s to the to the to the second half and it was already out of reach at that point. Like Roc: Yeah. C-Dub: And there's nothing really left to talk about after that. But like again, I think I think that's just a big gut punch to the team. And like there's a world where I mean, the spread was what, like six and a half. There's Roc: Six and a half. C-Dub: a world here where the Giants are a bottom end team going like preseason rankings and the Rams are a top. I think just the hype from week one really gassed the Giants up and they played really well against a defense that's proven again really bad. So this might have been I mean, this might have been an easy an easy game to bet. If I wasn't a Giants fan. If if I wasn't delusional, Roc: Giants fan. That's why we didn't give any plays. C-Dub: if I wasn't delusional, it would have been it's a the Rams are the the obvious bet there to cover by at least a touchdown. I mean, come on with who they have. but yeah. Roc: And their home their home opener. I I don't want to gloss over Donald's return. Aaron Donald comes back, best defender of our generation, three time defensive player of the year. He comes back after two years and he looked good. His pass rushing was a little rusty, C-Dub: Hey, look good. Roc: but he I mean in the run in the run game, he stuffed the biggest s momentum shift in that game, obviously outside of the dart injury, was it was a third and two at the three yard line. We were down fourteen to zero. We just got a fumble. And third and two, three yard line. We do a run up the middle with Najee Harris and Aaron Donald blows it up, tackle for loss, we lose three yards, and we have to kick a field goal right before half. And we go into half thinking it was gonna be fourteen to three instead of getting seven. If we could have gotten seven there on the board and we got a first down, then maybe the game in the second half goes a little a little bit different. We're obviously I I still don't think we're gonna lose, but after C-Dub: I don't know, I Roc: that, after that play, third and two, and you wanna you wanna running into the ground, you wanna show up you wanna show them you wanna show them like what's up. And Aaron Donald blows it up and we lose five yards on the play. Right C-Dub: And again Roc: there I was just like it's it's it's shock. C-Dub: This isn't like a I'm not knocking Harbaugh for this, but like I mean I think if you go for on fourth there and you get it, I think that's something that's that can galvanize a team that has lost their star to maybe putting in a respect playing with pride, you know. But again, I mean I I can't blame anyone on that. I mean, they lost the franchise quarterback. I mean, what do you do? What do you do? I think Roc: Yeah. Yeah. C-Dub: my last thing is media terrorists of the week. last segment for these games, Ian Arappaport. Right before that report came out about him being out for the season, he's Yeah, the Giants aren't worried. And I and I f I finally said to myself, I'm ready to I'm okay to shift my mindset to darts coming back. And I did all this research and I'm like, they could win the if they win this game, this game, this game, this can happen. It's o okay. And then like an hour later, ESPN and then fucking just crushes my soul. Crushes my soul. Roc: It my my take on it, we we just talked about the schedule. We have Titans cards and commanders next three games and my my take is we I love we love Jabbo. If you know Jersey swap, you you know we love Jabbo. And C-Dub: Very yeah. Roc: he he looked like last night he just he was unprepared. He looked like he was unprepared. And there's no beating around the bush. He looked like he spent this entire offseason covering soccer. And doing all the media, social media things and not focusing on football because he's a backup quarterback. But he just looked unprepared to get when he got thrusted in there. And if we trust this new coaching staff and this new regime, then he will look better. I think he obviously he will look better this next week against the Titans. And I think he will play. Play better. But I think you give him these next three games, you give Jabbo these next three games easy easier. opponents, air quotes, easier opponents, see how he plays. And if he looks like how he did against the Rams, then you have to explore a trade. If you don't want to throw the white towel in for the season, you have to you have to look for quarterback options. If he goes out there and he's serviceable, he wins three all three of those games, wins two and one and he's putting up numbers and he looks good. I think you can roll with him for the rest of the year. But if he looks bad, there's there's four names that I have out there that I would I would love for the Giants to go get. I C-Dub: Give on to me. Give on to me. Roc: alright. I don't know if you guys saw the edit I made last night. First one Bazooka Joe, Joe Milton. C-Dub: Love talking to a gi like a a pat a more like passive Giants fan at work today and I was showing him Bazooka Joe highlights 'cause of Rocco's post. Roc: I don't understand how if you call yourself a football fan that you don't love watching that guy play. He has an absolute cannon of an arm. He has all the traits, and he's never been given a shot. He was drafted by the Patriots the same year that the Patriots drafted May. So he was back up there. When he his time was called in the preseason, he balled. Granted, it's preseason. He played in week 18 for the Patriots, went, balled. The Cowboys traded for him. Again, back up to Dak Prescott. as he should be, Dak Prescott's legit. Preseason, he goes out, balls. And for some reason, the Cowboys released him and then signed him again to their practice squad. So I think it's worth a flyer if Jameis doesn't play well. What call up Jerry. Call up Jeremiah. Let's see let's see what inter interdivision trade. Let's see what we can do. So he would be my number one. My number two, Davis Mills. He's C-Dub: You this is a U take. That's that's a U one right there. You you go. You go Rock. Roc: No, D I if if if if you follow if you follow Jersey Swap over the years, you know, Davis Mills, he he has a soft spot in my heart. But he's he's an NFL quarterback, regardless of what you want to say. He in the games he had to play last year, he won with with the Texans when Stroud was out. He he's been around the league for the past five, six years it is now, and he knows how to play in the in the league. He knows how to play in the NFL. He's smart. He's obviously not as gaudy with the traits as Joe Milton is or these guys that are six five, run four fours, huge arm, but he knows how to play and he's a true NFL pro. So I wouldn't mind us calling up Texans and seeing what their asking price is. But I don't think they would want to get rid of him because he's won games for them when Stroud was out. Last year they when Stroud was out, he won three straight and they were like, Do they even want to bring Stroud back? C-Dub: Yeah. Roc: A soft benching, which I I don't know. That was number two. Number three, Anthony Richardson. It I mean, it seems like it seems like the Colts it seems like C-Dub: I'll honest, I I don't like I don't like but Roc: the Colts are done with him, which again, he hasn't shown anything to like be a starting quarterback in the league. He's electric. He has the traits. He just hasn't played a lot of football. He had thirteen total starts at Florida in college and then gets drafted fourth overall. Gets thrown in there for the Colts, and you could tell he's just not. He's not ready. He's very, very the potential's up here, but the pr production's down here. So he has the traits, and if you want that quarterback that can run and that can move, which is what Dart was, I don't I don't hate that. If they a late round pick for him and he's young, twenty four years old, you might as well. If Dart's been in the blue tent a million times in two years, he's gonna be missing his entire entire site in almost two full years. C-Dub: Yeah. Roc: Two years in the league. If you're gonna go out there, get a guy who's twenty four, twenty-five years old and still has potential and maybe just keep him there to if dark knock on wood. I I love him, but if if he can't stay healthy. And then the last option I had C-Dub: Yeah. I will say before you before you go to the next one, I I mean I think there's any guy to like instill like I don't know if it's good morals, but like just true football IQ, it would be hardball. I I Roc: Hard work ethic, yeah. Yeah. C-Dub: mean I I mean if if you want a guy that's gonna tell like give a guy another shot and make him love football, it's hardball. And that's it might be me glazing. That might Roc: So I I I personally I would C-Dub: be me glazing. Roc: I I would love if we went out and tried tried getting him. It seems like the the Colts are totally done with them. But I don't know. That's C-Dub: Yeah. I think so. Roc: just obviously that's my imagination. And then the final one, a little hardball reunion. Why not go get old man Joe? Joe Flacco. Why not get him? That's my that's my fourth option. The only reason is 'cause the the connection with Harbaugh and like Flacco's been around, but He's he's also a statue back there and if our O line plays C-Dub: Yeah. Roc: like it did last night, then he might not make it through two or three weeks. But that that was just my fourth option. C-Dub: Yeah. I mean again we didn't disc I I saw Joe Milton, but I like I mean, at least with like Davis Mills and Anthony Richardson, like you're getting a younger guy that like if he does good stays around. And before we move on, I have like a a f a wrap up question. We went pretty much went an hour over how long we said we would. But I Roc: Yeah, yeah, yeah. It's kinda double but we're just talking ball. C-Dub: don't even know if this is true, but I I I saw this somewhere where it was someone said like I don't think the Giants had another quarterback suited up. Roc: Yeah, we only had two. Braxton Berrios was our third strength. C-Dub: So, I mean, that's another thing where like maybe Jameis went into that where I have to like stand I have to be on two feet at the end of this game because there is that one bootleg he had where he had like twenty yards of grass. Roc: Wide open. C-Dub: I don't know if that's Jameis just being rusty or if he's in the back of his mind thinking we don't have I am the last line. I he's the last line before we get Roc: Yeah, line of yeah. Yeah. C-Dub: to before we get to like putting a position player in to pitch a game. Roc: Yeah. C-Dub: So And you don't want to do that in the NFL. Roc: That's not a that's not a horrible take. I I I I didn't even think about that, but that's not that's not a horrible take, honestly. C-Dub: Again, like I don't know how much I prescribed to like I still think Jameis did bad. I d I don't know if he would have done as bad with that. Maybe it wasn't even in the back of his mind, but I did see that. Roc: Just just unprepared is the the only word I had for he just unprepared. C-Dub: Exactly. Yeah. I mean and why again as much as I ragging out his play, why would he be? Why would Roc: Yeah. C-Dub: he be prepared? I know he's a backup, I know he gets reps, but like you don't expect that. Roc: Yeah. C-Dub: Yeah. Roc: that went through every single game. We did go a lot longer than we thought we would. But we're we're just talking ball. C-Dub: Just having fun. Just just two guys talking ball. Roc: I mean I I I love this. Just just talking ball. Little updater for our our bets for our tracker for Chris and I. I'm sitting at eight for thirteen so far since the season started, sixty two percent clip, and Chris is at seven for twelve, fifty eight percent clip. So the boys C-Dub: Yeah. Roc: are giving you we're giving you We're giving you good bets, obviously. We want to get it up. Yeah. C-Dub: I think we've done pretty good on the prime time too. We've been pretty good with prime time. I mean, I know we've we've stumbled here and there with like I know I'd had Brees Hall and that was a weird game and everything, but But hey. Hey, I mean, we're not doing too bad. For two guys Roc: Yeah, I my my Sunday slate I went over over three. Sixty two percent, fifty eight percent stuff. C-Dub: for two guys who don't who don't know I mean, I don't really know what I'm talking about. For two guys who don't really know much, I think we're doing pretty good. And I'm g Roc: We're up in units. C-Dub: and I'm giving you over unders. I'm not giving you like plus whatever. I'm I'm trying to stay as close to the line as I can here. So I think we're doing Roc: Yeah. C-Dub: okay. Roc: Yeah. We're we're we're in we're in the the green territory right now. Sixty two percent, C-Dub: Yeah. Roc: fifty eight percent, we'll take it. We're gonna keep on giving them out picks and hopefully we're we're leading you guys in the right direction. C-Dub: I'm so happy we didn't give out picks for that Giants game. I would have been gassing up some nut shit. Roc: Yeah, I know. I I I had a ton of I had a ton of my ton of my boys were asking me for the picks and I said I as fans, we we personally we can't do it. So we we did a hype post though. Hopefully you guys liked that. Thought it was a pretty good post, but yeah. Trying, C-Dub: I think it was a good decision. Yeah. Rock's a demon with AI, I'll give him that. my last question, more of like a clean up thing. I think this is a fun little thing to end the season on. I want to ask you, I'm gonna give you a list from the AFC and the NFC of the Owen two teams. I want to give you the best one the one that you think has the best hopes for like e Not making playoffs like salvaging their season and being fun. Roc: Yeah. C-Dub: I'll start with the AFC. it's Texans, Dolphins, Titans, Colts. Roc: I see like the past wants to say the Texans 'cause they've started off and two. This is their third third time of the four years. But I think it comes down this week, I wanna go Texans or Colts. It comes down this week they play each other, so whoever wins that game, I'm gonna lean C-Dub: Yeah. Roc: Texans. Their defense is still legit and I I would say Texans. C-Dub: Yeah. And I have no idea who the Titans play, I I'm not ready to give up on Cam Ward and them just yet. I mean, I think if they lose to this Giants team next week, I I think they're dead. But I think the Colts would be my one. I mean Jonathan Taylor's a monster. I mean the Texans, Roc: Peace. C-Dub: I mean until they have Tank Dell and Nico back, I don't think C J Shroud's gonna look like a top end quarterback anytime soon. I know Dalton Schultz Roc: Yeah. C-Dub: gets looks. I know that and but still I don't think there's gonna be anything crazy going on there. Even with their defense, Roc: That's fair. C-Dub: in my opinion. I forgot the charges were also there. but I c forgot to list Roc: I was gonna say the Chargers, but C-Dub: them. I had them down but I forgot to say It's Roc: Yeah. I'm gonna sti I'm sticking with I'll stick with the I'll stick with the Texans. I'll stick with the Texans. Yeah. C-Dub: I am not saying anything. Yeah, I'm not I wouldn't have picked them anyways, even if I said it right. I'll take I'll take Colts. I think they'll be okay. I mean, I'm not taking their wind toll or anything, but I think I think they'll be serviceable. NFC, they got three. It's Bucks Commys Falcons. Roc: Oof. Oof. Is it C-Dub: Stinker. Roc: is is it crazy? Is it crazy to say the Falcons? I C-Dub: No, it's not at all. I mean I don't I mean, I don't know what happens with the Bucks. I think step one is fire top bulls, then we'll talk again about Roc: Yeah. C-Dub: them. Or unless Baker decides to bake. Roc: I I think they're both in the NFC South that division sucks and or like sucks. It's it's not a good division over the over the years. It C-Dub: No. Quote Yeah, no, no. Roc: it Falcons you you literally can't get worse quarterback play and they're getting Penix back. So I'm I'm gonna stick my neck out and I'm gonna say the Falcons, as crazy as that might be. C-Dub: If Jane Daniels was still around, I probably would have put commies. And Roc: Yeah. C-Dub: that's a again, like if he's healthy, they could be sitting one and one right now and not even on this list. Roc: Yeah. C-Dub: So again, I mean, I think I think with Marcus Mariotti, he's one of the better backups in the league, but I still don't think they're gonna be good. Roc: I mean hell they were they were a two point conversion away last week from beating the Eagles or tying the Eagles C-Dub: They were. Roc: and going to overtime. Like i i it does suck. Injuries suck, man. So I I'm I'm going with the Falcons. Hopefully Panics comes out and can actually get to get the ball to their playmakers. C-Dub: Yeah. Yeah, I just think I think the rational mind would say bucks, but I just don't. I don't like Roc: Yeah. Yeah, they're gross. C-Dub: I don't like at all. I think that's it. That's all we got. Roc: Yeah. That's all we got for this week's or this week's slate of games. But yeah, we're gonna try and do Tuesdays and Thursdays pods. So Tuesday will C-Dub: Yep. Yeah. Roc: be like this. Recap, we'll try and try and be a little quicker. This was just two dudes talking ball. And C-Dub: Yeah. Roc: we had we had the trauma we had to go through with the Giants that we we had to discuss. That that C-Dub: Yeah. Roc: one just nobody could have expected that. C-Dub: And again, like we work. I think Ideal World, we put we get we release Monday night, so it's Tuesday morning. But I mean we're still figuring out the schedule. I mean it might be completely different week two. so we'll see what happens there. But other than that, that's all I got. And next next pod we'll be giving some picks that we like. I'm not sure how we're gonna do the picks yet. We're not gonna talk about that, but we'll try to do something consistent with that pod. Maybe like yeah. Roc: Yeah. We'll do the previous games, what we like. C-Dub: We've been trying to give three out. Like for like the graphics that we put up on on Instagram. But Roc: Maybe we do a Instagram Instagram pool or poll on the IG story and just we let people say what they they think is best. Just some ideas. C-Dub: Yeah. Yeah. Roc: Like they can type in whatever they want and just what what they think is the the best, what they C-Dub: Yeah. Roc: what they want to see. 'Cause at the end of the day it's what it's what our our fans want. C-Dub: Yeah, and if you made it this far, kudos to you, man. Like tip Roc: Yeah, seriously. C-Dub: the tip the damn cap. Yeah, so thank you if you made it this far and we'll we'll catch you next time. Roc: Yeah.
