- 0:26Speaker 2: of water. What's up, guys, Yeah.
- 0:28Speaker 1: There's been a lot of that lately. That happened on
- 0:30Speaker 1: the last podcast. You threw a question at me right
- 0:33Speaker 1: as I was.
- 0:34Speaker 2: Yeah, I realized what I'd done, and then I also
- 0:36Speaker 2: realized that I was completely out of words and thoughts. Yeah,
- 0:39Speaker 2: so it all stays in So that just just fell
- 0:42Speaker 2: on the ground like a like a fucking failed magic trick.
- 0:45Speaker 1: That's just one of those things that the people who
- 0:47Speaker 1: pay to watch us live stream these podcasts, which we're
- 0:51Speaker 1: gonna start doing a lot more because we're gonna be
- 0:52Speaker 1: putting a lot more episodes up on YouTube, indeed actual videos.
- 0:56Speaker 2: So please go subscribe preemptively. And private Chat's only three
- 1:00Speaker 2: tety nine and I go full nude and I will
- 1:02Speaker 2: say your name. So yeah, yeah, it's an excellent deal.
- 1:04Speaker 1: Really for fifteen ninety nine, he'll get nude on this podcast.
- 1:08Speaker 2: I would do that for like an uber home. You
- 1:12Speaker 2: drove here, Yeah, the car is not in great shape,
- 1:15Speaker 2: all right, give a lot of give Keith carry a
- 1:18Speaker 2: ride quite often the tire pressure is not great. He's fat,
- 1:20Speaker 2: all right, because Keith's fat.
- 1:23Speaker 1: Yeah, I mean I am too, but I'm never in
- 1:25Speaker 1: your car.
- 1:25Speaker 2: No, no, no, that's a funny. Drove out him in
- 1:27Speaker 2: my car at one point and I looked back at
- 1:29Speaker 2: him in the rear view and I could see him
- 1:31Speaker 2: just realizing, like, I'm too old for this shit, you know.
- 1:34Speaker 2: I was both my days of hang it out in
- 1:36Speaker 2: two thousand and seven. Chevy Cobalts should have been behind
- 1:39Speaker 2: me a while ago.
- 1:40Speaker 1: I was in the back realizing me and Keith shouldn't
- 1:42Speaker 1: be on the same side. That was I think the
- 1:46Speaker 1: bigger realization.
- 1:47Speaker 2: Yeah, it was like trying to steer a pirate ship
- 1:50Speaker 2: during a storm.
- 1:51Speaker 1: And also feeling really lazy that you were driving me
- 1:53Speaker 1: home because you're like three blocks away, so really close.
- 1:57Speaker 2: Yeah, I wasn't like, yeah, you're sure you don't want
- 1:59Speaker 2: to walk like I was trying to get some steps
- 2:01Speaker 2: in before the end of the day.
- 2:03Speaker 1: Well, it was late, because you record mean boys at
- 2:05Speaker 1: four o'clock in the morning.
- 2:06Speaker 3: That's the only way you can bring out the dark
- 2:09Speaker 3: gests of people. We're very busy guys, all right, I
- 2:11Speaker 3: gotta have a lot of tweets about Kathy Griffin to
- 2:14Speaker 3: send out. You understand, poor Kathy Griffin. She's really getting
- 2:18Speaker 3: it right now.
- 2:19Speaker 1: You know.
- 2:19Speaker 2: Kathy Griffin is actually the comedian that I that I
- 2:21Speaker 2: first saw the first got me in a stand up comedy.
- 2:22Speaker 2: My parents watched her reality show on Bravo, which I
- 2:25Speaker 2: still thought was funny, and I went back and watched
- 2:27Speaker 2: them on YouTube once when I was, you know, up
- 2:29Speaker 2: too late in a hotel room in some podunktown, and
- 2:31Speaker 2: I was like, some of this holds up, all right,
- 2:33Speaker 2: this is a pretty fight. So I got love for you, Kathy.
- 2:35Speaker 2: I don't think she should have apologized for that severed trumpet.
- 2:38Speaker 2: By the time this comes out, she may very well
- 2:40Speaker 2: be like in a FEMA camp, be force fed raw
- 2:43Speaker 2: eggs through a you know, steel pipe. I hope not,
- 2:46Speaker 2: But yeah, you shouldn't have backed down, Kathy. I got
- 2:48Speaker 2: respect for you, and I thank you for getting me
- 2:50Speaker 2: into the game. Yeah.
- 2:52Speaker 1: Yeah, it would have been nice to see her not
- 2:54Speaker 1: like just stick to her guns. Yeah, everyone apologizes these days.
- 2:59Speaker 1: It is it's when does someone's in vogue? Not like
- 3:03Speaker 1: I don't remember the last controversy like that where the
- 3:05Speaker 1: person didn't eventually come out Tosh, I.
- 3:08Speaker 2: Think I did. I might have apologized, Yeah, I think
- 3:12Speaker 2: he did, but it was like.
- 3:13Speaker 1: Kind of like a backhanded apology.
- 3:15Speaker 2: But yeah, I would have been kind. I would have
- 3:16Speaker 2: been you know, somewhat okay with that or what you know.
- 3:19Speaker 2: Obviously depending on the tone and these things can vary dramatically,
- 3:22Speaker 2: but yeah, it would be nice to see someone just
- 3:25Speaker 2: do something bold and then just be like, that's what
- 3:27Speaker 2: it is.
- 3:28Speaker 1: Yeah, you know, murder someone on this podcast, like, no apologies.
- 3:33Speaker 2: Oh the Iron Giant, the Iron Giant Killers. They've been
- 3:37Speaker 2: on the loose and downtown LA for weeks now.
- 3:42Speaker 1: No one cares what happens in downtown La.
- 3:44Speaker 2: Yeah, it's very It's it's like the Hunger Games, but
- 3:47Speaker 2: you know with Starbucks.
- 3:48Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, it's like Hunger Games if there were also
- 3:51Speaker 1: luxury apartments where you could watch the Hunger Games happen
- 3:55Speaker 1: from the comfort of your living room.
- 3:56Speaker 2: My place. In a park, there is a during a
- 3:58Speaker 2: certain time of year you can see a really fabulous dichotomy,
- 4:01Speaker 2: which is people riding around the lake on paddle BOWLT
- 4:05Speaker 2: never had a harder time pa paddle boats people people uh,
- 4:11Speaker 2: you know, gallivanting across the waters on their on their
- 4:15Speaker 2: uh you know, fucking white people mobiles, and then across
- 4:18Speaker 2: the street is a cardboard box heroin junkies. Yeah, and
- 4:21Speaker 2: it's just like that's America right there, Glendale Boulevard in
- 4:25Speaker 2: the month of June. You can see fucking the entire
- 4:28Speaker 2: span of capitalism. Yeah. I have a hook up the
- 4:31Speaker 2: paddle boat round a place there. I get on the
- 4:34Speaker 2: I get on the fucking links for free. Baby.
- 4:36Speaker 1: Wow.
- 4:36Speaker 2: Yeah, that's impressive. Work on this town long enough and
- 4:40Speaker 2: you get there's some perks. Is there a list? Can
- 4:42Speaker 2: you get me on the list?
- 4:43Speaker 1: I could probably text a guy that that would be nice.
- 4:45Speaker 2: Okay, yeah, we should do the Conspiracy Show official photo
- 4:48Speaker 2: shoot on a paddle Yeah. Yeah, tinfoil hats, you know,
- 4:52Speaker 2: like you know, look at the compass out in the map.
- 4:53Speaker 2: That's just mons us. Oh yeah yeah, yeah, just just
- 4:57Speaker 2: big foot racing us. That's that's our cryptozoology algy podcasts
- 5:03Speaker 2: called you know, Mysterious Poop a show.
- 5:06Speaker 1: Yeah, we should do that for sure. Yeah, so we should. Uh,
- 5:10Speaker 1: let's let's get started. We're talking kind.
- 5:12Speaker 2: Of there's a bit of a grab bag show, yeah,
- 5:15Speaker 2: around a topic we're doing mysterious suicides.
- 5:18Speaker 1: Mysterious suicides that were probably murders at least in some cases.
- 5:22Speaker 2: Yeah, so I think there's definitely some some variation here.
- 5:25Speaker 2: The first one is probably the most name brand political
- 5:28Speaker 2: fake suicide. Yeah, you know, which even then I didn't
- 5:30Speaker 2: find out about until you know, May maybe a year ago,
- 5:33Speaker 2: you know, and I started started rooting into it. But uh,
- 5:35Speaker 2: Vince Foster. Vince Foster worked out that is the appropriate
- 5:42Speaker 2: way to introduce a former Arkansas lawyer that was given
- 5:46Speaker 2: a job at the White House. Yeah. Yeah, he actually
- 5:48Speaker 2: grew up across the street from baklint which is a
- 5:50Speaker 2: fun right right.
- 5:51Speaker 1: He was really tight with the Clintons, especially Hillary. Then.
- 5:54Speaker 2: Yeah, Hillary cried on his shoulder at her dad's funeral.
- 5:56Speaker 2: I mean, he was a real There's some there are
- 5:58Speaker 2: some rumors that they had that they you know, fucked
- 6:00Speaker 2: or whatever. But you know, when he talked to he
- 6:02Speaker 2: was the deputy, uh fuck, well, I forget his executor,
- 6:05Speaker 2: the deputy in his position, and then the guy above him,
- 6:08Speaker 2: the actual guy. He they were like, did you guys
- 6:10Speaker 2: ever bang? But more or less and he was like, no, man,
- 6:13Speaker 2: I couldn't do it. She was like a sister to me. Bro,
- 6:15Speaker 2: that's I'm paraphrasing, But yeah, I don't I don't see.
- 6:18Speaker 1: I mean he's from Arkansas, though, so I don't know
- 6:21Speaker 1: that that would really be.
- 6:22Speaker 2: She was like a sister to me, man. So, yeah,
- 6:24Speaker 2: I tore it off.
- 6:27Speaker 1: I think they had a law They had a law
- 6:29Speaker 1: practice together too, right they did.
- 6:31Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, they worked together. And you know he was
- 6:33Speaker 2: he was one of the people that came under investigation
- 6:36Speaker 2: during Ken Starr's uh special prosecuting Reign of terror, the
- 6:39Speaker 2: Arkansas Project, where he was basically trying to just scrounge
- 6:42Speaker 2: up all this you know, sketchy ship from Bill Clinton's
- 6:45Speaker 2: past when he was governor of Arkansas. Fun fact about
- 6:47Speaker 2: Bill Clinton is governor of Arkansas in Connor's useless political
- 6:50Speaker 2: trivia sidebar Corner of the Week. We'll have a jingle
- 6:53Speaker 2: for that by the next time we record is that
- 6:56Speaker 2: he was served a served non consecutive terms as governor.
- 7:00Speaker 2: He won, He served a two year term. They only
- 7:02Speaker 2: had two year terms. He got swept out in the
- 7:03Speaker 2: Reagan Revolution. He came back and beat the guy other night.
- 7:05Speaker 2: He was the Grover Cleveland of Arkansas. Nice. Yeah, I
- 7:09Speaker 2: did not, Yeah, I did not know that that might
- 7:10Speaker 2: fucking win you, you know, six hundred bucks on Jeopardy someday.
- 7:13Speaker 1: So Vince Foster. Yeah, probably this is the one that
- 7:17Speaker 1: See it's even though it's the most prevalent and the
- 7:20Speaker 1: most common one two words that mean mostly the same thing.
- 7:24Speaker 2: Uh, the redundancy a show, the show.
- 7:29Speaker 1: This one seems like it there's the least amount of
- 7:32Speaker 1: evidence pointing to it being anything other than suicide. Like,
- 7:36Speaker 1: this seems like a clear suicide.
- 7:38Speaker 2: Yeah, I couldn't. I couldn't. I looked into it a
- 7:40Speaker 2: bit more. I couldn't find jumping out a bit information
- 7:43Speaker 2: on whether or not he had actually started taking antidepressants.
- 7:45Speaker 2: But that's a big thing, right when you start taking
- 7:47Speaker 2: especially when you first start taking them. And this is
- 7:49Speaker 2: someone who takes antidepressants. They told me when you first
- 7:52Speaker 2: start taking them, like and you know, in the first
- 7:53Speaker 2: two weeks, there's a lot of it's very common thoughts
- 7:56Speaker 2: of suicide or just sort of like an apathy towards
- 7:59Speaker 2: the idea of death. And I report firsthand, like I
- 8:01Speaker 2: was like, I don't want to kill myself, but I
- 8:02Speaker 2: wouldn't care if I died, Like I just didn't feel anything. Yeah,
- 8:05Speaker 2: you know, so if that was compounded by the stress
- 8:07Speaker 2: of being Hillary Clinton's lap dog, like you know, and
- 8:10Speaker 2: I'm worried about like bringing shame to him. Like from
- 8:13Speaker 2: what I'm reading about this guy in the way that
- 8:15Speaker 2: it just his character is presented, he seems like the
- 8:18Speaker 2: kind of guy that might do this, you know.
- 8:20Speaker 1: Yeah, it seems like he was found with a gun
- 8:23Speaker 1: in his hand, a gun that was like a family gun. Yeah,
- 8:27Speaker 1: that like belonged to his grandfathers.
- 8:29Speaker 2: It was. And the suicide was in the same method
- 8:31Speaker 2: as a character in a book he just finished reading.
- 8:33Speaker 2: The name of the book slips my mind, but yeah,
- 8:35Speaker 2: you know, there's a few things that's like, Okay, that
- 8:38Speaker 2: seems pretty clear. Yeah, and also it happened in broad daylight. Yeah,
- 8:42Speaker 2: in a park. Yeah, in a park, not close to like,
- 8:46Speaker 2: not next to a car in a park. Oh yeah,
- 8:48Speaker 2: next to a ceremonial cannon. And then and then to
- 8:52Speaker 2: get you know, these ceremonial cannon you know, that's when
- 8:56Speaker 2: we finally decided that dragon Ball GT was part of
- 8:59Speaker 2: the accepted universe. Okay, that was a joke for the
- 9:02Speaker 2: crossover of dragon Ball Z fans at Conspiracy. Lookie Lows
- 9:07Speaker 2: is two separate circles. They are distended tits. They could
- 9:11Speaker 2: not be least close to they're not. People don't like
- 9:15Speaker 2: those things together anyway. Yeah, yeah, yeah. They couldn't have
- 9:20Speaker 2: shot him and drug him in without cousin of Ruckus. Yeah,
- 9:23Speaker 2: people would have noticed. Yeah, for sure. So so Vince Foster.
- 9:27Speaker 1: Even though it's the name you'll hear the most when
- 9:29Speaker 1: it comes to questionable suicides, I don't agree. And we
- 9:33Speaker 1: will talk about a couple that that are very that
- 9:35Speaker 1: are very suspects, that are yeah, very weird.
- 9:38Speaker 2: Let's uh but yeah, I mean it kind of tell.
- 9:40Speaker 2: And they describe his working relationship with Hillary and it's
- 9:43Speaker 2: just as that he was stressed the fuck out, you know.
- 9:46Speaker 2: And this this all comes from the travel Gate scandal
- 9:48Speaker 2: where they replaced the White House Travel Office staff with
- 9:50Speaker 2: their own, and they wanted to replace the staff and
- 9:53Speaker 2: Hillary was like, oh, we don't want to just fire him.
- 9:55Speaker 2: That looks weird. This is you know, these people serve
- 9:57Speaker 2: with the pleasure of the president. It's within his power
- 9:59Speaker 2: to fire them, similar to fire the FBI director, which
- 10:01Speaker 2: is something only Bill Clinton did, but it was under
- 10:02Speaker 2: different circumstances. So firing James Commy was you know, more
- 10:05Speaker 2: or less politically unprecedented, you know, just for it's it's
- 10:08Speaker 2: bost you know, so he could do it. They wanted
- 10:11Speaker 2: justification for it, so they told the FBI, you know,
- 10:13Speaker 2: we think these guys are doing some suspects spending. I
- 10:16Speaker 2: think that they're being wasteful, so let's look into that.
- 10:19Speaker 2: Let's find something, and let's get our guys in here,
- 10:21Speaker 2: you know, which is mildly mocky Avilian. Yeah, you know,
- 10:25Speaker 2: like I don't that that doesn't send a chill down
- 10:28Speaker 2: my spine per se.
- 10:29Speaker 1: Yeah, it's like you would rather hear that they just
- 10:33Speaker 1: fired him. But that's also not the worst thing.
- 10:36Speaker 2: It's also the if they were wasting money, which you know,
- 10:38Speaker 2: I think the FBI official reports said, you know that
- 10:40Speaker 2: they were like at best extravagant was their spending, you know,
- 10:43Speaker 2: like so they basically they concluded that there was wasteful
- 10:47Speaker 2: spending going on. So I think it was you know,
- 10:50Speaker 2: this is more or less just this is the kind
- 10:52Speaker 2: of shit that like, Okay, if that's the biggest scandal
- 10:54Speaker 2: in government, right then great.
- 10:56Speaker 1: Right, But like you said, it was part of that
- 10:59Speaker 1: whole a series of scandals that all kind of emanated
- 11:04Speaker 1: from that first Arkansas Sorry, yeah, yeah, first investigation in
- 11:09Speaker 1: the Travel Office was one of the first, and people
- 11:13Speaker 1: like mostly forget about it now because there was so
- 11:15Speaker 1: many other big ones.
- 11:16Speaker 2: Yeah, well, Ken Star just felt about Arkansas the way
- 11:19Speaker 2: Jeffrey Dahmer felt about human flesh. Like he was just
- 11:21Speaker 2: fucking bloodthirsty, you know. Yeah, he look at that guy
- 11:24Speaker 2: and you're like, you got fucking you got razors in
- 11:26Speaker 2: your fucking blood. Yeah.
- 11:28Speaker 1: Yeah, he was intense. And now he's like very pro Clinton.
- 11:32Speaker 1: I don't know if you've looked into it since then, but.
- 11:34Speaker 2: It's very weird. Yeah, he's uh, he's done a one
- 11:36Speaker 2: eighty on that.
- 11:38Speaker 1: But yeah, the the Travel Office that was the scandal
- 11:41Speaker 1: that Vince Foster was caught up in.
- 11:42Speaker 2: There was a firing of seven people. Yeah, and these
- 11:46Speaker 2: are people that like booked flights, you know, charreed, you know, cleared.
- 11:49Speaker 4: Airways, like very like it's significant shit, you know, right,
- 11:53Speaker 4: like this guy bought the Peanuts and air Force one
- 11:56Speaker 4: and you know what, you got a hook up from
- 11:58Speaker 4: planners and you know, we're gonna fire and to hire
- 12:00Speaker 4: some of our good old boys from Arkansas.
- 12:02Speaker 5: Fucking fine, they could probably book flights right, which this
- 12:05Speaker 5: isn't like the Defense Secretary Arkansas, fuck face, This is
- 12:10Speaker 5: Southwest Stewardess, Arkansas.
- 12:12Speaker 2: Fu face.
- 12:13Speaker 1: I'm surprised you never see that brought up among the
- 12:17Speaker 1: conspiracy theorists that you know, why would someone kill themselves
- 12:21Speaker 1: over a scandal like this, Like it does seem like
- 12:25Speaker 1: kind of a small potatoes thing. But this guy was,
- 12:28Speaker 1: by all accounts, really depressed, and I think there was
- 12:31Speaker 1: some suggestion he was going to have to testify, yeah,
- 12:34Speaker 1: possibly testify against Hillary Clinton.
- 12:36Speaker 2: And he, you know, he was very close with Hillary,
- 12:39Speaker 2: and she, you know from from the portrayals you read
- 12:41Speaker 2: of him, just worked him really hard. She'd say, like
- 12:43Speaker 2: fix advance or like make it go away, Vince, and
- 12:46Speaker 2: you know she snapped him one day and that really
- 12:47Speaker 2: hurt his fans because they were such good friends. But
- 12:50Speaker 2: he was saying, I don't think that there were in
- 12:53Speaker 2: the statements that are quoted, it's implying that there's guilt there.
- 12:56Speaker 2: He said, there's no way that they're not going to
- 12:58Speaker 2: believe they're guilty. This looks bad. You know, he's such
- 13:01Speaker 2: a smooth talker, slick Willie or whatever, like Hilary's this
- 13:03Speaker 2: cold ice queen bitch, like people aren't gonna buy it,
- 13:06Speaker 2: and the fact, you know, I think it was just
- 13:08Speaker 2: kind of a culmination of circumstances where he felt like,
- 13:10Speaker 2: this is I can't fucking make this go away all
- 13:12Speaker 2: by myself, you know, and then yeah, what's what's that canon?
- 13:15Speaker 1: Yeah doing and he really probably should have just waited
- 13:18Speaker 1: it out. Yeah, things kind of went okay even though
- 13:21Speaker 1: Clinton got impeached, and it still kind of went okay.
- 13:24Speaker 2: Oh yeah, and we're still like, yeah, fucking he Look,
- 13:27Speaker 2: he got impeached, but he's still at every He's gonna
- 13:29Speaker 2: be at every DNC rally till he dies. You know,
- 13:30Speaker 2: he's still popular and pro he would have won again,
- 13:33Speaker 2: you know, Oh yeah for sure. Oh wouldn't that have
- 13:35Speaker 2: been nice? That would have been pretty cool.
- 13:38Speaker 1: So let's uh, let's let's move on to Marshall gutierres.
- 13:42Speaker 1: There's actually three in the in this story. Yeah, there's
- 13:46Speaker 1: Lieutenant Colonel Marshall Gutierrez, Major Gloria Davis, and Sergeant Denise Lannaman.
- 13:52Speaker 2: And this is a kind of ties into Vince Foster
- 13:54Speaker 2: because of the wasteful spending aspect being kind of a
- 13:57Speaker 2: part of it.
- 13:58Speaker 1: Yeah, Marshall guti Eras when he first arrived in Kuwait
- 14:03Speaker 1: during the All three of these people were stationed in
- 14:07Speaker 1: Kuwait during the Iraq War. And Marshall Gutierres gets to
- 14:11Speaker 1: town and notice that there's food suppliers who are way overcharging.
- 14:17Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 14:17Speaker 1: One of the examples they used was like a bag
- 14:20Speaker 1: of coke syrup syrup ninety bucks when you can get
- 14:23Speaker 1: it for ten.
- 14:24Speaker 2: Yeah. And even if you go into town, like in Kuwait,
- 14:26Speaker 2: at the local store, it's forty bucks, you know, go
- 14:28Speaker 2: to the local restaurant supply, so like right, there no
- 14:31Speaker 2: bones about it. This is like way too much.
- 14:34Speaker 1: Which that's a thing I've heard a lot. I've heard
- 14:36Speaker 1: about the government just kind of in general for a
- 14:39Speaker 1: long time.
- 14:40Speaker 2: I mean, it's weird to think that Coca Cola syrup
- 14:42Speaker 2: could be part of the military industrial contract construct. Yeah,
- 14:46Speaker 2: the fuck complex complex. Jesus Christ, that's where to got them.
- 14:50Speaker 2: It's like, and here's the deal. I'm very educated. Let
- 14:52Speaker 2: me tell you about the military industrial condominium. All right.
- 14:56Speaker 2: What happens is if you can't afford a home and
- 14:58Speaker 2: you want, you know, to buy a bunch of grenades
- 15:00Speaker 2: from the Saudis. These people will work in Washington, and
- 15:07Speaker 2: then you know, some guy will say, like user contexts,
- 15:09Speaker 2: and we'll give you a job as an executive pushing
- 15:11Speaker 2: a pencil from one side of the desk to the other,
- 15:13Speaker 2: and just tell him that you gotta fucking buy Boeing
- 15:16Speaker 2: brand airplane wings. Right, you know, so I think I
- 15:19Speaker 2: feel like there's probably some of this going on. And
- 15:21Speaker 2: this guy kind of seems like he was sort of
- 15:23Speaker 2: a bean counter that noticed this and was trying to
- 15:26Speaker 2: get a good thing and kind of got caught up
- 15:28Speaker 2: in it.
- 15:28Speaker 1: Right, he tried to be I got he was, you know,
- 15:31Speaker 1: a whistleblower, that's the term they used for it. He
- 15:34Speaker 1: was going to or had brought it to the attention
- 15:37Speaker 1: of his superiors that this was going on. And what
- 15:42Speaker 1: happened next was one of the contractors turned around and
- 15:45Speaker 1: accused him of bribery and accused Gutierras a bribery. So
- 15:51Speaker 1: he gets caught up in a scandal of his own,
- 15:54Speaker 1: it wrecks his career, it ruins his marriage, and eventually
- 15:58Speaker 1: he kills himself. Or that's the story again, which in
- 16:04Speaker 1: this case it would be more believable if not for
- 16:07Speaker 1: the other suicides.
- 16:09Speaker 2: Yeah, and also if not, I feel like, if not
- 16:10Speaker 2: for the scandal, because I feel like, if you're gonna
- 16:12Speaker 2: point something like this out, there's more money in jacking
- 16:16Speaker 2: up the price of Coch syrup than there is in
- 16:19Speaker 2: printing out the discrepancy. And I feel like in this case,
- 16:22Speaker 2: it seems like an idea. And these people, you know,
- 16:24Speaker 2: we're doing a little bit better job than the guys
- 16:26Speaker 2: that you know, supposedly killed seth Rich two weeks ago, exactly.
- 16:30Speaker 2: Call back to a show that is not currently the
- 16:33Speaker 2: show that I am broadcasting. What's up? I'll be fine.
- 16:36Speaker 2: They did a bit better job. And if this is,
- 16:39Speaker 2: you know, actually one of those one of these creepy,
- 16:41Speaker 2: fucking Blackwater murders, they dude, I'm fucking all over the
- 16:46Speaker 2: place they create. They they found this scandal, you know,
- 16:51Speaker 2: to make the suicide seem justified, right does Isn't that
- 16:53Speaker 2: doesn't that seem like a perfect idea of what you
- 16:55Speaker 2: should do, right? You know? And that, Yeah, the thing
- 16:58Speaker 2: about it give them a motive is.
- 17:00Speaker 1: Him being the one who was like exposing the scandal.
- 17:05Speaker 1: That that's what makes it suspect, Like if he was
- 17:08Speaker 1: part of this bribery ring, why would he also put
- 17:14Speaker 1: himself at risk of being arrested by exposing it all.
- 17:18Speaker 2: Well, yeah, if I'm getting bribed and I see the
- 17:21Speaker 2: coke prices are fucked to him, I'm like, I'm leaving
- 17:23Speaker 2: that alone. Because I point that out, people look into me,
- 17:25Speaker 2: they find this other thing. Yeah exactly. And so it's
- 17:29Speaker 2: kind of like if you you know, if you've ever
- 17:30Speaker 2: like done drugs or you know something, you you would
- 17:33Speaker 2: never run for president because people would.
- 17:35Speaker 1: Right, exactly, Yeah, like I could never run for president.
- 17:37Speaker 1: These podcasts are public, and uh so he ends up,
- 17:41Speaker 1: after you know, all these allegations go back and forth,
- 17:44Speaker 1: he ends up killing himself. He was found dead in
- 17:47Speaker 1: his sleeping quarters on September fourth, two thousand and six,
- 17:52Speaker 1: with an empty bottle of pills and a bottle of
- 17:54Speaker 1: Anna freeze next to his body.
- 17:56Speaker 2: Overkill. Yeah, just wash it down with water man. Yeah,
- 17:59Speaker 2: I mean that that's not gonna do anything but make
- 18:01Speaker 2: the last moments more unpleasant. Yeah, yeah already. I mean
- 18:05Speaker 2: I've had friends that just try to kill himself with
- 18:07Speaker 2: pills and live. Think God, but they're like they're describing
- 18:10Speaker 2: He described the feeling of like having a shitload of
- 18:12Speaker 2: painkillers in your system and like it's horrifyingly unplayed, Like
- 18:15Speaker 2: you're gonna want to go with like a wine or
- 18:17Speaker 2: a chloroform or something, I like on turning into a
- 18:20Speaker 2: suicide somo. Yeah, well let me show you what we
- 18:23Speaker 2: have in an exit bag. All right. This helium is
- 18:25Speaker 2: from nineteen ninety four when Ken Starr Roam the Earth
- 18:29Speaker 2: and wasn't just an MSNBC guest commentator when they're running
- 18:32Speaker 2: when Michael Steel's not available. Yeah, yeah, it's just just weird,
- 18:38Speaker 2: you know, it just seems it's again. This seems like
- 18:40Speaker 2: you know where they might have botched it, like, oh,
- 18:42Speaker 2: they created this counter skin. It almost makes you wonder
- 18:44Speaker 2: like what the levels of competency don't match? Yeah, Like
- 18:47Speaker 2: if you're gonna create a calendar sandals to justify the suicide,
- 18:50Speaker 2: wouldn't you just be like, ah, fuck, I forgot what
- 18:52Speaker 2: to kill? Like what do we have in the garage?
- 18:54Speaker 2: Like yeah, maybe the low level guys are just okay, shit,
- 18:56Speaker 2: can you stop an AutoZone and pay with cash because
- 19:01Speaker 2: pick up some Anna freeze?
- 19:02Speaker 1: Yeah, Anna freeze is such a weird choice.
- 19:05Speaker 2: And uh, anti freeze is actually a mister Freezer's an't sorry, that's.
- 19:10Speaker 1: What these people tune in for so there was. He
- 19:15Speaker 1: was found dead first September fourth, two thousand and six.
- 19:18Speaker 1: Not long after that, Denise Lannaman, who was another of
- 19:23Speaker 1: the military personnel who was named. There were three people
- 19:27Speaker 1: named in the bribery scandal after Gutierrez exposed the pricing scandal.
- 19:34Speaker 1: So the one of the others, Denise Lannaman, was found
- 19:37Speaker 1: dead in her car in Newburgh, New York, which I
- 19:40Speaker 1: don't know if you've ever been, but good place to
- 19:43Speaker 1: kill yourself. It's just a fucking shithole.
- 19:49Speaker 2: It's one of those real York.
- 19:51Speaker 1: Super duper crime ridden, impoverished upstate New York towns where
- 19:58Speaker 1: never been.
- 19:59Speaker 2: Haven't been to New York except for a layover, so.
- 20:01Speaker 1: Oh yeah, it's yeah, it's it's a nightmare. But she
- 20:04Speaker 1: was found dead in her jeep in Newburgh, New York,
- 20:08Speaker 1: with a gunshot wounded the head.
- 20:09Speaker 2: They eventually ruled that.
- 20:11Speaker 1: A suicide, and that was in October of two thousand
- 20:15Speaker 1: and six.
- 20:15Speaker 2: And again, the most convincing thing that points to suicide
- 20:18Speaker 2: here is the ill advised ownership of a jeep.
- 20:21Speaker 1: I mean, what right, Yeah, and you need a jeep
- 20:23Speaker 1: for an upstate New York where you.
- 20:25Speaker 2: Yeah, you're not hunting crocodiles. All right, maybe that's what
- 20:29Speaker 2: killed her. Maybe crocodile shot her. The crocodile in Upstate
- 20:35Speaker 2: New York is known to have opposable thumbs. All right,
- 20:37Speaker 2: this is this is mainstream science. I mean, I like,
- 20:40Speaker 2: you watch interviews with guys that are talking about lizard
- 20:42Speaker 2: people and it's like, yeah, lizards are known to subscribe
- 20:45Speaker 2: to particular patterns. Now, this is mainstream science, and in
- 20:48Speaker 2: this case, the patterns are just controlling the fucking proletariat.
- 20:51Speaker 1: Man. Yeah, yeah, lizard people would be a good episode too.
- 20:55Speaker 2: That's such a I don't know if we have the time.
- 20:57Speaker 1: Yeah, that's that would be a two parter. That's a
- 20:59Speaker 1: long one.
- 21:00Speaker 2: If Oprah's not a lizard person, why does she use
- 21:02Speaker 2: so much lotion? Okay, wow, that was silly.
- 21:08Speaker 1: Uh. The last of the three Gloria Davis.
- 21:11Speaker 2: Because she's fat. Sorry.
- 21:14Speaker 1: Gloria Davis was the third person to commit suicide shortly
- 21:18Speaker 1: after she gave testimony in that bribery scandal. She committed
- 21:22Speaker 1: suicide in December two thousand and six, So within a
- 21:25Speaker 1: three month span, everyone who could have maybe exposed this
- 21:30Speaker 1: pricing scandal committed.
- 21:32Speaker 2: Suicide ran at the presence in that coke syrup.
- 21:34Speaker 1: All right, so they want you to think anti Parkinson's drugs.
- 21:38Speaker 2: Yeah, And also, I mean important to note the timeframe
- 21:41Speaker 2: which has taking place. This is like, you know, the
- 21:43Speaker 2: fucking this is one. Support for the Iraq war is
- 21:46Speaker 2: dwaning intensely two thousand, five thousand and six, Like the
- 21:49Speaker 2: people are starting to be like, dude, what the fuck
- 21:50Speaker 2: are we doing over there? I mean, you understand what Afghanistan?
- 21:52Speaker 2: Where are we in Iraq? People They're like, oh, we
- 21:54Speaker 2: need a serge. This is kind of just gonna fix it.
- 21:57Speaker 2: And I feel like the storyline of we can't have
- 22:01Speaker 2: people losing faith in any aspect of their military from
- 22:04Speaker 2: the fucking guns they're using to the coca cola they're drinking.
- 22:08Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, it does it. I mean it's got to
- 22:11Speaker 1: be something like that.
- 22:12Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 22:13Speaker 1: I don't I didn't really follow up as far as
- 22:15Speaker 1: what ever came of this, Like did that I don't
- 22:18Speaker 1: know if the investigation just sort of died.
- 22:20Speaker 2: I didn't really see any like charges in that bribery. Yeah,
- 22:25Speaker 2: I don't know if I don't know if they were
- 22:26Speaker 2: the only three, you know, defendants or whatever. Yeah. So
- 22:29Speaker 2: I mean, I don't know if there was anybody to
- 22:30Speaker 2: actually fucking charge at that point, but I mean, either
- 22:34Speaker 2: either way, the fact that you haven't heard about it
- 22:36Speaker 2: or the fact that it's you know, all the people
- 22:38Speaker 2: that would have been you know, culpable or dead. Yeah,
- 22:41Speaker 2: that's you know, it's how the Flint water crisis is
- 22:44Speaker 2: going to be soon. Do you see a bunch of
- 22:46Speaker 2: people are like, well, a bunch but two of the
- 22:49Speaker 2: first people to file lawsuits in that died what Yeah, yeah, wow,
- 22:54Speaker 2: I mean they haven't been drinking that water, so that
- 22:56Speaker 2: is tough to call.
- 22:58Speaker 1: The water murder them. So yeah, that's that's those three.
- 23:03Speaker 1: This this next one is another military cover up, and
- 23:09Speaker 1: this I think is one of the most outrageous ones.
- 23:13Speaker 2: Yeah, this one is a very upsetting.
- 23:15Speaker 1: On the list. Lavina Johnson. She was a private in
- 23:19Speaker 1: the US Army. Her death was ruled a suicide for
- 23:25Speaker 1: one thing. The official army investigation for this being a
- 23:28Speaker 1: suicide for some reason, the investigation took months, like it
- 23:32Speaker 1: was something like eight months before the family actually heard
- 23:36Speaker 1: a ruling on what happened to her, and what they
- 23:39Speaker 1: eventually concluded was that she shot herself in the mouth
- 23:43Speaker 1: with an M sixteen. Yeah, that's a brutal suicide. Yeah,
- 23:49Speaker 1: that's I mean, you don't have a side arm in
- 23:51Speaker 1: the military. I'm not sure if you would, you know,
- 23:53Speaker 1: as a private, but I feel like you'd be able
- 23:55Speaker 1: to find a more convenient gun. Yeah.
- 23:58Speaker 2: Yeah, it And that, by the way, is the least
- 24:01Speaker 2: of the ridiculous thing that we're going to get into. Yeah.
- 24:05Speaker 1: And after they they determined that she shot herself with
- 24:08Speaker 1: an M sixteen, it was they decided that they had
- 24:11Speaker 1: her or there were rumors that she was depressed over
- 24:14Speaker 1: a bad breakup.
- 24:15Speaker 2: Yeah, And by the way, this is just kind of
- 24:17Speaker 2: the all American student. She went into the military because
- 24:20Speaker 2: her father had and her father was a hero, and
- 24:22Speaker 2: she wanted to pay her way through college. And her
- 24:24Speaker 2: mom was like, you know, I'm not sure sure about this,
- 24:26Speaker 2: and her dad was like, you know what, she's got
- 24:28Speaker 2: a good head on her shoulders. It'll be a character
- 24:29Speaker 2: building experience for you know, good grades, good athlete, all
- 24:32Speaker 2: that shit. She was very she was Everyone was just like,
- 24:35Speaker 2: she just love life right now and I don't think
- 24:39Speaker 2: a fucking a bad skype hang out with with her
- 24:42Speaker 2: boyfriend back home. Yeah, was going to do it. To
- 24:44Speaker 2: this girl like this because you know, even with the
- 24:47Speaker 2: interviews that there was a there's a try school, you know,
- 24:51Speaker 2: community of students that took this case on as the
- 24:55Speaker 2: one that they wanted to investigate. This is a commission
- 24:57Speaker 2: of people that try to solve unsolved crimes. And they
- 25:00Speaker 2: were just like, yeah, we did all these first person
- 25:01Speaker 2: interviews with everyone that came into contact with her, and
- 25:03Speaker 2: everyone was like, yeah, she just loved life, and she'd
- 25:06Speaker 2: you know, yeah, loved her family, loved fucking. So it's very, very,
- 25:09Speaker 2: very out of character.
- 25:10Speaker 1: Yeah, it's very out of character. And then the family,
- 25:13Speaker 1: after this investigation concludes, they get the body back.
- 25:18Speaker 2: Yeah, and by the way, they don't tell them, you know,
- 25:20Speaker 2: they just say self inflicted, right, you know, this this
- 25:24Speaker 2: the fuck, It's all these things are always chilling. But
- 25:26Speaker 2: the moms like I woke up and I looked at
- 25:28Speaker 2: the window when I saw there was a soldier on
- 25:29Speaker 2: my porch, and I'm like, I know, this is not
- 25:31Speaker 2: good news. Yeah, and then he that's all he can
- 25:33Speaker 2: tell her, and then, you know, because that's all he knows.
- 25:35Speaker 2: And then finally they get it back, you know, a
- 25:37Speaker 2: ridiculous amount of time later, right, you know, eighteen months.
- 25:40Speaker 2: It does not take that long to do an autopsy.
- 25:43Speaker 1: No, not if you're really not for a fucking suicide.
- 25:45Speaker 2: Not if you're doing an autopsy of a blue whale,
- 25:48Speaker 2: right that got mugged. Does it take that long?
- 25:51Speaker 1: So they living, they get they get the body back,
- 25:55Speaker 1: and one of the things they they determine is that
- 25:58Speaker 1: her arms were probably too short to even kill herself
- 26:02Speaker 1: with an M sixteen because it's not a small gun. No,
- 26:05Speaker 1: but she was a very small woman. She was I
- 26:08Speaker 1: think five one or five two, like, she was very little. Yeah,
- 26:12Speaker 1: so that that was one of the first things. But
- 26:15Speaker 1: you know, I mean that's something that would be hard
- 26:17Speaker 1: to recreate, I guess. But also that the wound was
- 26:21Speaker 1: too small to be from an M sixteen round. They
- 26:24Speaker 1: never found the bullet, which you think you'd be able
- 26:27Speaker 1: to track that down.
- 26:28Speaker 2: Yep. And all she did it, didn't she do it
- 26:31Speaker 2: inside a vehicle? I thought she was.
- 26:33Speaker 1: In like a warehouse or something.
- 26:35Speaker 2: Oh maybe I could be wrong, But I mean unless
- 26:38Speaker 2: unless the situation where it's going into the sand or something,
- 26:41Speaker 2: and then they yeah, jeep away, they thought she got it.
- 26:44Speaker 2: You know, there's just it seems like, yeah, you could
- 26:47Speaker 2: get that. I mean you're the army. Yeah, yeah, you
- 26:50Speaker 2: deal with bullets on a regular basis. You know, you
- 26:52Speaker 2: have metal detectors in there, you.
- 26:54Speaker 1: Know how trajectory works, track that thing down. Yeah, so yeah,
- 26:57Speaker 1: they never found the bullet. There were also signs that
- 26:59Speaker 1: she had maybe been beaten, including a broken nose and
- 27:03Speaker 1: a missing tooth, And you could argue, and I imagine
- 27:08Speaker 1: this is why the if there is a cover up,
- 27:10Speaker 1: I imagine this is why they would have said M sixteen,
- 27:13Speaker 1: because that would maybe explain the broken tooth and the
- 27:17Speaker 1: broken nose.
- 27:18Speaker 2: Yeah, there's the recoil on that. It would be pretty crazy.
- 27:21Speaker 1: But at the same time, they could also just be
- 27:25Speaker 1: saying it was an M sixteen to cover up the
- 27:27Speaker 1: fact that she looked like she had been beaten. Yeah,
- 27:29Speaker 1: she had a broken nose, she had a broken tooth,
- 27:32Speaker 1: all kinds of bruising on her face.
- 27:34Speaker 2: And well that she had bruises other places on her
- 27:36Speaker 2: body too. Yeah, she had brus which is like, not,
- 27:39Speaker 2: that's not you can't explain that with a sixteen shot.
- 27:42Speaker 2: I mean any frecial damage. I mean the gun that large,
- 27:45Speaker 2: you're like, you know what, anything kind of goes.
- 27:47Speaker 1: Yeah, But so there's all that, which all though.
- 27:50Speaker 2: Expert economic expect I'm talking to it right now.
- 27:53Speaker 1: Like, all of that makes it suspect on its own.
- 27:56Speaker 1: But then there's also the issue of her genitals, which
- 28:00Speaker 1: had a corrosive substance poured on them, which what the fuck? Yeah, like,
- 28:06Speaker 1: how is that?
- 28:06Speaker 2: Did they find that?
- 28:08Speaker 1: At least? Like did she go put the corrosive substance
- 28:11Speaker 1: away and then come back.
- 28:12Speaker 2: And shoot herself like that?
- 28:14Speaker 1: Yeah, that seems like an obvious that's.
- 28:16Speaker 2: If you're gonna if you're gonna kill yourself, that's not
- 28:18Speaker 2: how you start. Yeah, you know.
- 28:20Speaker 1: Yeah, she's just frustrated that it wasn't working.
- 28:23Speaker 2: Like yeah, yeah, it's just that's it's really the only
- 28:26Speaker 2: explanation is that some you know, she was raped and
- 28:29Speaker 2: raped yeah, yeah.
- 28:31Speaker 1: And it seems like probably another kind of what you mentioned,
- 28:35Speaker 1: just the army not wanting at a time when they
- 28:38Speaker 1: were already having so much bad.
- 28:41Speaker 2: Yeah. This was because the article that we read to
- 28:43Speaker 2: prepare for this was the ten year anniversary, so this
- 28:45Speaker 2: was two thousand and seven, right again, you know, but
- 28:48Speaker 2: she's leaving an office. I think I'm sure there was
- 28:51Speaker 2: some flare up that coincided with this yeah, you know,
- 28:56Speaker 2: you know the fucking election even Yeah, two thousand and eight,
- 28:59Speaker 2: it would be you know, primary season, I think when
- 29:01Speaker 2: this went down, so they're just uh, just decided to
- 29:05Speaker 2: make it go away.
- 29:06Speaker 1: Yeah, which is fucking terrible. This, I think is this
- 29:10Speaker 1: is the most obvious one.
- 29:12Speaker 2: I think that. And there's really something the more you
- 29:15Speaker 2: read about you like this, like the scary shit is
- 29:17Speaker 2: not necessarily the politicians. It's the people that work with
- 29:20Speaker 2: the politicians kind of independently of them, like the military,
- 29:23Speaker 2: the FBI, the CIA, where they all have thrown you know,
- 29:26Speaker 2: the self jurisdiction. You know, like when when the Cue
- 29:31Speaker 2: missile crisis was going on, the CIA continued like fucking
- 29:35Speaker 2: you know, covert ops in Cuba, and I'm like, you
- 29:37Speaker 2: are literally smoking in a room full of dynamite, you know,
- 29:40Speaker 2: right like that that's just gone on, and you know,
- 29:42Speaker 2: fifty years later someone writes a book and you get
- 29:44Speaker 2: to find out about it. But you're like, yeah, like,
- 29:46Speaker 2: I'm sure if I knew what was going on right now,
- 29:48Speaker 2: I'd be like, oh my god, there's there's cafefe fucking
- 29:51Speaker 2: back channeling going on.
- 29:54Speaker 1: How excited are you about?
- 29:55Speaker 2: Uh?
- 29:56Speaker 1: Maybe Trump is going to do one thing that I'm
- 29:58Speaker 1: on board with. He's talking about releasing classified JFK files.
- 30:03Speaker 2: Oh yeah, I am very excited. We're gonna have a
- 30:05Speaker 2: very special conspiracy. That's my favorite conspiracy. Oh mine too,
- 30:09Speaker 2: And I'm a I'm a big the whole Kennedy family.
- 30:11Speaker 2: You know, if I was gonna get a tattoo, I'd
- 30:12Speaker 2: probably get Bobby Kennedy just to be I think that'd
- 30:15Speaker 2: be fun.
- 30:17Speaker 1: Did you know Ted Kennedy? He wrote a book. He
- 30:20Speaker 1: wrote a kids called If I Did It It Almost.
- 30:23Speaker 1: What was really funny to me was he has a
- 30:27Speaker 1: dog in real life, and in the book, the dog's
- 30:30Speaker 1: name is Splash. Doesn't that seem like a weird name
- 30:34Speaker 1: for Ted Kennedy's dog.
- 30:37Speaker 2: That's amazing. I did not know that.
- 30:39Speaker 1: Yeah, Like, who's ever in the history named a dog Splash?
- 30:44Speaker 2: I have this. I'm gonna show on your point a little. Unfortunately,
- 30:47Speaker 2: I haven't met a dog named Slash. Splash, Slash it
- 30:50Speaker 2: was from it was from a goth couple. No Splash.
- 30:53Speaker 2: It was he loved water. So they're like, we'll call
- 30:55Speaker 2: him Splash. I'm like, that's a little fucking you know.
- 30:58Speaker 2: It wasn't like a little bitch looking dog. It was
- 31:00Speaker 2: like a tough you know rope, you know, like like it,
- 31:02Speaker 2: could you know, guard your house dog and oh you
- 31:04Speaker 2: can't go him splash? Now you know you got bullshit
- 31:06Speaker 2: on Bruce or something like that, you know. Dave? Yeah,
- 31:09Speaker 2: why not name your dog Dave? That is a pretty
- 31:12Speaker 2: funny name for a do over. There's certain human names
- 31:14Speaker 2: that just do not. If you had a dog named Connor,
- 31:16Speaker 2: you'd be like, get the fuck out of here. I
- 31:20Speaker 2: am calling the ASPCA on you. I'm sure you're feeding
- 31:22Speaker 2: him like vegan dog food and he's melnourished. Yeah.
- 31:27Speaker 1: Anyway, back to the army killing further their agenda, Lavina Johnson,
- 31:32Speaker 1: you know that the Trump JFK thing again sidebar, that's
- 31:35Speaker 1: not Trump, that's that was supposed to happen anyway in
- 31:39Speaker 1: twenty seventeen.
- 31:40Speaker 2: That was like the date that they put on it.
- 31:42Speaker 2: So never mind unless unless he like blocks it, he
- 31:45Speaker 2: didn't do anything about it. Unless I'm mistaken. I think
- 31:48Speaker 2: that goes all the way back to that JFK movie,
- 31:50Speaker 2: if you remember the big scene at the end, like, so,
- 31:52Speaker 2: I just hope that we keep this man's memory of
- 31:54Speaker 2: life so our grandparents could walk down to the Hall
- 31:56Speaker 2: of Records on July nineteenth, twenty seventeen, and probably, you know,
- 32:00Speaker 2: I think I think it's one of those oh nice,
- 32:03Speaker 2: and you gotta figure that they're gonna go ahead and
- 32:06Speaker 2: shred those xeroxes of his brain matter, Like, I don't
- 32:09Speaker 2: think there's gonna be anything good in there. They'll redact
- 32:11Speaker 2: a lot of it. When Bill Clinton took off, one
- 32:13Speaker 2: of his first stories of Bins to his Attorney General
- 32:15Speaker 2: was find out who killed John F. Kennedy, which which
- 32:19Speaker 2: I love. I just think he's like, hey, I want
- 32:22Speaker 2: to know solve that cold case.
- 32:25Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, that'll be that'll be interesting to see what's
- 32:31Speaker 1: in him. I don't I don't know that it's gonna
- 32:33Speaker 1: confirm anything, but sometimes, like remember they released all those
- 32:37Speaker 1: nine to eleven papers that kind of there had been
- 32:41Speaker 1: rumors for years that there was maybe a Saudi operative
- 32:44Speaker 1: who might have been involved with the hijackers, and when
- 32:47Speaker 1: they released that, it did kind of confirm that.
- 32:49Speaker 2: Like it wasn't.
- 32:51Speaker 1: Sent the dude to prison over it, but it was
- 32:53Speaker 1: definitely suspect. He was just like I met him at
- 32:56Speaker 1: the airport and we decided to move to San Diego together.
- 33:00Speaker 2: It's like, no, you didn't. That's something else going on.
- 33:03Speaker 2: That is something you know white guys that look like me,
- 33:05Speaker 2: do you know? Yeah, it's kids mitt. That's the word
- 33:08Speaker 2: I learned in my fucking uh you know, theology class exactly. Yeah, so,
- 33:14Speaker 2: uh yeah, it doesn't it seems to me. For you're
- 33:16Speaker 2: the kind of guy who's just like fucking steely eyed
- 33:19Speaker 2: and undestroying America. You're not into fun spur of the
- 33:22Speaker 2: moment living arrangements. Yeah, Like, man, what are you guys
- 33:25Speaker 2: doing with all those wires and clippers and like, ah,
- 33:28Speaker 2: just we're trying, we're trying to get electrician certification and uh,
- 33:33Speaker 2: you know, we gave up on land in the planes.
- 33:35Speaker 2: That was too hard. Yeah, who needs to land? Not me?
- 33:38Speaker 2: When I have a thought, that's for sure.
- 33:41Speaker 1: Gary Webb, let's talk about Gary. So Lavina Johnson, I
- 33:44Speaker 1: think we can agree she was fucking murder. Something happened
- 33:47Speaker 1: to her. Gary Webb. This is another weird one. Gary
- 33:50Speaker 1: Webb is the guy that broke the story about the
- 33:54Speaker 1: CIA selling cocaine in Los Angeles. Yeah, crack, yeah, crack
- 33:58Speaker 1: cocaine to fun the contras basically, And that's a story
- 34:04Speaker 1: that could be its own fucking episode.
- 34:06Speaker 2: There's lots of twists and turns there pretty fasting. There's
- 34:08Speaker 2: a movie.
- 34:09Speaker 1: About it called Kill the Messenger and Gary Webb eventually
- 34:13Speaker 1: committed sth and Chris Rock what he did to shoot
- 34:17Speaker 1: the Messenger? Sorry, Gary Webb. What he did is he
- 34:21Speaker 1: eventually killed himself. And what makes people so suspicious of
- 34:25Speaker 1: this one is that there were two gun shots, which normally,
- 34:30Speaker 1: if a person shoots himself in the head, that takes
- 34:33Speaker 1: care of it.
- 34:34Speaker 2: There's not a second shot. Yeah, my pop's worst with
- 34:37Speaker 2: airplanes and shit. So I met a dude at the
- 34:40Speaker 2: airport one day who's like, he was like, this guy
- 34:43Speaker 2: just walked into a propeller that was head level and
- 34:46Speaker 2: fucking blew his head up, but his body kept walking
- 34:48Speaker 2: for a couple steps and then dropped. I don't know
- 34:51Speaker 2: if he was just trying to freak out a kid,
- 34:52Speaker 2: but I mean, but the chicken running around with the
- 34:54Speaker 2: heads cut off, Like, I feel like if you're sending
- 34:56Speaker 2: impulses to your finger and you're just shaking and just
- 34:59Speaker 2: like yeah, squeeze, just just do it. I feel like
- 35:01Speaker 2: that is possible. Yeah, you know that that is not
- 35:04Speaker 2: a deal, But that's weird. You know, and whenever something
- 35:07Speaker 2: weird happens to a significant person, you know, you want
- 35:11Speaker 2: to attach an idea to it. This is skepticon or
- 35:14Speaker 2: coming out for a little bit, right, you know. And
- 35:16Speaker 2: it's like this happens in one in every thousand self
- 35:18Speaker 2: inflicted gunshot ones at the head. But I'm like, there's
- 35:21Speaker 2: a thousand people that shoot themselves in the head. This
- 35:23Speaker 2: guy is moderately famous. So I feel like that, you know,
- 35:25Speaker 2: it's kind of where the conspiracy rumors right. Also the
- 35:29Speaker 2: fact that he died in two thousand and four, Yeah,
- 35:31Speaker 2: I mean that this this story broke earlier than that,
- 35:33Speaker 2: you know.
- 35:34Speaker 1: Right, it broke nineties.
- 35:36Speaker 2: Like, yeah, I feel like this was you know, even
- 35:38Speaker 2: maybe towards the end of the actual Reagan administration or
- 35:41Speaker 2: or you know, Bush was in office. Like I'm I
- 35:43Speaker 2: feel like this is a pretty old notion. Yeah. So
- 35:45Speaker 2: the fact that like why you're letting him live is
- 35:47Speaker 2: he at fucking you know, fifty five or whatever it
- 35:50Speaker 2: is he did he just dig up some new information
- 35:52Speaker 2: or something. Yeah, And he's also he's also at that
- 35:55Speaker 2: age where it's like, at this point, it's like that
- 35:57Speaker 2: you have a computer, you have there's files on there,
- 35:59Speaker 2: you've got every thing backed up. This guy had an
- 36:01Speaker 2: email address, you know, we could go dig through after
- 36:03Speaker 2: he passed, right, So I feel like that there would
- 36:05Speaker 2: be more fingerprints than just the suspicious gunshot. And again,
- 36:09Speaker 2: I don't know what is it about people that want
- 36:12Speaker 2: people murdered where apparently they're just hiring super incompetent dudes. Yeah,
- 36:16Speaker 2: you know, like this guy's like, oh fuck, I did
- 36:18Speaker 2: it twice. We got a scam, get the keys, lendy.
- 36:22Speaker 1: Yeah, that that that part seems like work. I just
- 36:25Speaker 1: did there with the car driving away. Yeah, that was impressive.
- 36:28Speaker 2: That was not bad. We should do a radio play.
- 36:33Speaker 2: Oh tons at the door? Hello, how was as it's
- 36:38Speaker 2: nine o'clock or not? I'm about to go to bath?
- 36:41Speaker 2: That sounds like how the guy in American Gothic the
- 36:44Speaker 2: painting would talk. You know.
- 36:49Speaker 1: So the thing about Gary Webb, what I've read in
- 36:53Speaker 1: relation to the suicide itself from friends who friends of
- 36:59Speaker 1: Gary Webb who actually do believe he committed suicide, is
- 37:02Speaker 1: that the second shot went through his cheek. And at
- 37:06Speaker 1: that point my question is, well, would you still have
- 37:10Speaker 1: your wits about you enough to shoot yourself a second time?
- 37:14Speaker 2: Oh? See this like disproves even more to me. Yeah, yeah, exactly,
- 37:17Speaker 2: because if I shut myself in the cheek, you better
- 37:19Speaker 2: believe it'd be like, oh fuck, better shoot myself in
- 37:21Speaker 2: the head. Yeah.
- 37:22Speaker 1: And there's actually if anyone has any doubt, maybe we
- 37:26Speaker 1: won't overlay this when we're overlaying things that people could
- 37:31Speaker 1: watch along with us. Oh gee, oh I saw this.
- 37:34Speaker 1: I didn't click on it, but there's a video that
- 37:37Speaker 1: it went around. I'm sure it'll get taken down as
- 37:40Speaker 1: soon as we mention it. This one only has nine
- 37:42Speaker 1: hundred and eighty three views, but it was a really
- 37:44Speaker 1: popular video.
- 37:45Speaker 2: You know, you're going to a bad part of the
- 37:46Speaker 2: internet where something's really fucked up and it doesn't have
- 37:49Speaker 2: a lot of views. Yeah, because that means just getting
- 37:51Speaker 2: taken down a lot. And you're like, oh, I found
- 37:52Speaker 2: the forty third mirror for cheek fucking suicide. Man, Well,
- 37:56Speaker 2: this guy does. He's not killing himself. I should say
- 37:58Speaker 2: I wouldn't never watch it.
- 38:01Speaker 1: You've never seen the interrogation Room suicide.
- 38:03Speaker 2: No, I'm sure i've seen it. I'm sure i've seen
- 38:06Speaker 2: a gift you know that I didn't want to see.
- 38:07Speaker 2: But I've never sought out a video of someone dying
- 38:10Speaker 2: or like, you know, I watched one of those isis
- 38:11Speaker 2: videos that I thought was like the censored BBC News one.
- 38:14Speaker 2: I was like, oh, nope, that's the Yeah, I watched
- 38:15Speaker 2: an isis video. Yes, but it's always been either by accident,
- 38:19Speaker 2: you know, or just I you know, there's you know,
- 38:22Speaker 2: some reddits where you're like, oh, these are kind of
- 38:24Speaker 2: fun and you're like, oh man, the fucking car just
- 38:26Speaker 2: fucking went over that clip. And then you're like, oh, well,
- 38:28Speaker 2: that's a guy straight up getting creamed by a bus.
- 38:30Speaker 2: Like I didn't want to see that, Like, who the
- 38:32Speaker 2: fuck are you people? Anyway, Let's watch this guy shoot
- 38:34Speaker 2: himself in the cheek. Yeah, let's watch that. This guy
- 38:37Speaker 2: he uh, he looks like a guy that's in like
- 38:40Speaker 2: black flag, but he's wearing a lot of makeup. Yeah,
- 38:42Speaker 2: he lookscellent features. Oh Jesus Christ, Yes, are you hurt?
- 38:55Speaker 1: Bad?
- 38:55Speaker 6: Yeah?
- 38:55Speaker 2: You just shot yourself. Fuck.
- 39:02Speaker 1: I swallowed the bully ship swallowed the bullet.
- 39:06Speaker 2: Oh my god, Well how did it not lead? How
- 39:09Speaker 2: did it not go out the other cheek?
- 39:10Speaker 6: Yeah?
- 39:11Speaker 1: I wonder if this was ever proven fake.
- 39:13Speaker 2: I feel like that's fake. Man. Okay, we just saw
- 39:17Speaker 2: a video overlay for a website, uh bestgore dot com,
- 39:23Speaker 2: and I gotta figure that that's not people that are
- 39:25Speaker 2: just super into the Internet and global warming. But at
- 39:32Speaker 2: the same time, if I was gonna fake it, I
- 39:36Speaker 2: feel like I get a better actor. Although this guy's
- 39:39Speaker 2: I mean, maybe this is a subtally brilliant thing where
- 39:42Speaker 2: he's playing the best stupid guy ever.
- 39:48Speaker 1: Yeah, what the fuck? I wonder if anyone in the uh,
- 39:56Speaker 1: I can't tell if anyone's telling us, someone will, I'll
- 40:00Speaker 1: tell us if it's fake.
- 40:01Speaker 2: Yeah, I want to. He in my buddy's house and
- 40:03Speaker 2: he was freaked the fuck out about and this is
- 40:05Speaker 2: a conspiracy podcast, But I do I feel like, you know,
- 40:09Speaker 2: it's fun to talk about some things, but I think,
- 40:11Speaker 2: you know, when it comes down to it, you got
- 40:12Speaker 2: to air on the side of skepticism. He's shown me
- 40:14Speaker 2: these paranormal activity videos and he's like, man, I can't
- 40:17Speaker 2: even watch this. This fucking upsets me so much. I
- 40:19Speaker 2: mean it's so real, and I'm just like, dude, let
- 40:21Speaker 2: me just google that video debunked. And I was like,
- 40:23Speaker 2: sleep easy. Yeah, right. A guy puts on a green
- 40:26Speaker 2: body suit and then just knocks his shit in his
- 40:28Speaker 2: kitchen around like, it's not a fucking specter. Yeah. Yeah,
- 40:33Speaker 2: if there were ghosts, you would have heard about it. Yeah.
- 40:36Speaker 1: I still think there's ghosts, just not not at that
- 40:38Speaker 1: guy's place.
- 40:39Speaker 2: Nam I stayed in a haunted hotel and didn't fucking
- 40:42Speaker 2: I'm like, yeah, this is an old building, it's creaky,
- 40:44Speaker 2: all right. I will say at that. When I stayed
- 40:46Speaker 2: at the Hunt Hotel, I was performing there. First of all,
- 40:48Speaker 2: I met a poet who's read for two presidents and
- 40:50Speaker 2: Mikhail Gorbachev, which was wild had it happened to be
- 40:52Speaker 2: in there in town for literary conference in this bar
- 40:54Speaker 2: full of drunk rednecks. And second of all, there's a
- 40:57Speaker 2: woman in the lobby that had twins, and I was like,
- 40:58Speaker 2: don't bring twins to a hotel. That's just poor fucking Yeah,
- 41:02Speaker 2: that's me guestsmanship, all.
- 41:03Speaker 1: Right, it's bad to everybody. Yeah, you don't want to
- 41:06Speaker 1: see twins at a fucking haunted hotel. No, even me
- 41:08Speaker 1: for a second, you know, Johnny Scott, I was just like, yeah, anyway.
- 41:12Speaker 2: Fuck that.
- 41:13Speaker 1: So, uh, let's talk about one. Well we have two laughs,
- 41:16Speaker 1: should we which one? Should we cover them both? Really quick?
- 41:20Speaker 2: You know, let's just do. Danny Castlara, I think that's
- 41:22Speaker 2: a fun one. Yeah.
- 41:23Speaker 1: Danny Castelaro. He was a freelance reporter late eighties, early nineties.
- 41:29Speaker 2: He was a family dish that served four to six,
- 41:32Speaker 2: consisting of a crust and a stuffing with multiple vegetable
- 41:36Speaker 2: and meat components. There's a sauce on the bed of
- 41:39Speaker 2: the pin. Sorry because Castle rolls. Yes, you get I'm
- 41:43Speaker 2: an idiot. I can't he You're the fucking facts guy.
- 41:46Speaker 2: I'm the color guy, right, I look at it. It's
- 41:49Speaker 2: your job to get the information across. I'm gonna interject
- 41:52Speaker 2: with whatever details I remember and whatever pun pops into
- 41:55Speaker 2: my shitty BRAINK.
- 41:55Speaker 1: Does that make me Joe Buck or Troy Aikman.
- 41:59Speaker 2: Don't know anything about those people?
- 42:00Speaker 1: Yeah, I think I'm Joe Buck.
- 42:01Speaker 2: I don't like that. Okay, we'll call guys all right.
- 42:05Speaker 6: Whoa Hey, No, ed eased excepting Adam's fucking pits.
- 42:15Speaker 2: So.
- 42:15Speaker 1: Danny Cassillaro He was a freelance reporter who had been
- 42:19Speaker 1: working on a story about what he called a glass
- 42:23Speaker 1: a vast global conspiracy that he called the Octopus. Which
- 42:29Speaker 1: great name it is?
- 42:30Speaker 2: Yeah, pretty great? Again, sounds like something that James Bond
- 42:33Speaker 2: would have to fight Yeah, oh yeah, for sure, the
- 42:35Speaker 2: Octilateral Commission to Control shit.
- 42:39Speaker 1: He uh yeah, he told friends he was the last
- 42:43Speaker 1: time anyone heard from him. He told a friend he
- 42:46Speaker 1: was heading to a hotel to bring back the head
- 42:49Speaker 1: of the octopus. Guess what, guys, he died instead.
- 42:53Speaker 2: That's also something that someone who has h gone uh
- 42:56Speaker 2: mentally ill as fuck says before they killed himself. Yeah.
- 43:00Speaker 2: And if you look at this guy, like he'd done
- 43:02Speaker 2: some exposes on this and that, and he kind of
- 43:04Speaker 2: pursued a career and investigative journalism, freelancing to pay the bills,
- 43:08Speaker 2: but he didn't have any big like hits in terms
- 43:11Speaker 2: of the publication, so that he was in he was
- 43:12Speaker 2: in a lot of like the fucking home journals, like
- 43:16Speaker 2: you know, just little shipball newspapers or whatever. Wasn't like me,
- 43:20Speaker 2: followed by Brian Dunklman on Twitter, all right, he wasn't
- 43:22Speaker 2: a credible source. Yeah, uh so, I mean, I I
- 43:27Speaker 2: feel like this was just a guy that sort of
- 43:29Speaker 2: was losing it. And everyone talks about what a friendly
- 43:32Speaker 2: dude was, and you know, like this guy. Someone a
- 43:34Speaker 2: quoting the article, which I thought was kind of funn
- 43:35Speaker 2: He was like, this guy wouldn't have cut his rest
- 43:36Speaker 2: in the black bathtub. He was you know, it was
- 43:38Speaker 2: a big, you know, like outgoing, gregarious guy. He would
- 43:41Speaker 2: have jumped off of skyscraper with fireworks in his pockets. Yeah.
- 43:45Speaker 2: You know. But I'm like when you start reading about
- 43:47Speaker 2: Iran Contra and your career is not going super great
- 43:50Speaker 2: and you're in your forties and you start thinking about octopuses, like, yah,
- 43:54Speaker 2: I don't think that if there's, if there's. This guy
- 43:56Speaker 2: was like super credible and he'd been published everywhere and
- 44:00Speaker 2: he you know this, get all these connections. It was
- 44:02Speaker 2: just the dude that you know, sucks that he died.
- 44:05Speaker 1: Yeah, and it's it's one of those stories where they
- 44:09Speaker 1: have a quote h him saying, uh, someday I'll be
- 44:12Speaker 1: murdered for revealing all of Reagan's secrets, which in a
- 44:16Speaker 1: story like this always sounds super damning. But I've said
- 44:19Speaker 1: the same thing about Trump.
- 44:21Speaker 2: Yeah, but just joking.
- 44:23Speaker 1: Yeah, I'm actually gonna be murdered.
- 44:25Speaker 2: This just means that Adam's trying to build up that Patreon,
- 44:28Speaker 2: you know, so he could take good of family and
- 44:30Speaker 2: then uh, and then he's gonna kill himself to make
- 44:32Speaker 2: himself look like a like a prophet. Yeah yeah, and
- 44:34Speaker 2: then disappeared, disappear to Cuba, to to you know, to
- 44:36Speaker 2: hang out with a I don't know, Tupac insert your
- 44:39Speaker 2: own fucking Tupac, probably Elvis. I feel like you and
- 44:43Speaker 2: Tubac would hit it off. I don't know, I don't.
- 44:45Speaker 1: I feel like he was a little overrated and I'd
- 44:48Speaker 1: want to talk about it.
- 44:50Speaker 2: I feel the same way.
- 44:51Speaker 1: So yeah, we should get out of here. We have
- 44:53Speaker 1: to record another one of these. Indeed, we do two
- 44:55Speaker 1: weeks from now. Until then, Connor, it'say, goodbye, goodbye everybody.
- 45:01Speaker 1: You love you,
