- 1:05Speaker 4: Rhode Island cops finally found the Brown University shooter. They've
- 1:10Speaker 4: been looking for it turns out he was tied in
- 1:12Speaker 4: with the MIT shooting and guess what, they find him
- 1:15Speaker 4: in a storage container and he's dead. I in Dato
- 1:19Speaker 4: and we have some breaking news here from the Chief
- 1:21Speaker 4: of the Providence Rhode Island Police Department, Oscar Perez, Colonel
- 1:25Speaker 4: Oscar Perez, police Chief.
- 1:27Speaker 5: The least police department was desperate to put handcuffs on
- 1:32Speaker 5: an individual was identified as Claudio Nevis Valente Nado birth
- 1:39Speaker 5: and he was a forty eight year old man. He
- 1:43Speaker 5: was a Brown student. He was a Portuguese national and
- 1:47Speaker 5: his last name, non address was in Miami, Florida. And
- 1:51Speaker 5: I will tell you that he took his own life tonight.
- 1:53Speaker 5: We have members of the Province Police Department up on
- 1:56Speaker 5: Salem Massa, New Hampshire, and we also have the BCI unit. Obviously,
- 2:01Speaker 5: the FBI and their evidence Recovery unit is up there.
- 2:04Speaker 5: So the process is being conducted as we speak. And
- 2:09Speaker 5: he goes without saying that I would like to personally
- 2:11Speaker 5: think vif Fors again of the Province Police Department, that
- 2:13Speaker 5: are Island State Police, the Land Attorney General, the FBI,
- 2:19Speaker 5: the atf HSI, the US Marshals, Irs, dea Secret Service
- 2:29Speaker 5: and ncis.
- 2:31Speaker 4: Coward to the end, right this monster. His name is
- 2:34Speaker 4: Claudio Nevez Valente, a forty eight year old Portuguese national
- 2:39Speaker 4: and former Brown University graduate student. They found him in
- 2:42Speaker 4: a New Hampshire stored unit with a bullet in himself.
- 2:46Speaker 4: I don't know if he shot himself in the head,
- 2:47Speaker 4: but that's usually the place right now. The cops that
- 2:49Speaker 4: he died days ago, right after shooting the MIT professor,
- 2:54Speaker 4: which followed the campus massacre at Brown where he killed
- 2:57Speaker 4: two students and wounded nine others. Fortunate, but we have
- 3:01Speaker 4: this the FBI making their announcement along with the Brown
- 3:05Speaker 4: University officials, the local government as well as the local police.
- 3:09Speaker 4: And here's the special Agent in charge weighing in on
- 3:13Speaker 4: the different investigative threads that they pursued and how they
- 3:16Speaker 4: actually cracked the case.
- 3:18Speaker 6: But when you do crack it, you crack it. And
- 3:20Speaker 6: that person led us to the car, which led us
- 3:23Speaker 6: to the name, which led us to the photographs of
- 3:27Speaker 6: that individual renting the car, which matched the clothing of
- 3:31Speaker 6: our shooter here in Providence that matched the satchel that
- 3:35Speaker 6: we see here in Providence.
- 3:38Speaker 2: He was found dead with a.
- 3:39Speaker 6: Satchel with two firearms and evidence in the car that
- 3:49Speaker 6: matches exactly what we see at the scene here in Providence.
- 3:56Speaker 6: And so I know that you and the pub book
- 4:01Speaker 6: have questions about how we got from a place yesterday
- 4:05Speaker 6: where all we could share with you was a photograph
- 4:08Speaker 6: of something we wanted to talk to to where we
- 4:10Speaker 6: got to tonight.
- 4:11Speaker 4: Well, your damn skippy chief, of course people have questions.
- 4:15Speaker 4: All right, it's taken forever and a day. Now, let's
- 4:17Speaker 4: not forget that there's been a lot of back and
- 4:19Speaker 4: forth with this stuff. And again he goes, this is
- 4:21Speaker 4: breaking news right in the nine o'clock hour Thursday evening,
- 4:27Speaker 4: and we've got this from the president of Brown University
- 4:29Speaker 4: checked this out.
- 4:30Speaker 7: So Claudia Menuel Navis Valente was enrolled at Brown from
- 4:34Speaker 7: the fall of two thousand to the spring of two
- 4:38Speaker 7: thousand and one. He was admitted to Brown's graduate school
- 4:42Speaker 7: to study in the Masters of Science PhD program in physics,
- 4:47Speaker 7: beginning on September one, two thousand and He took a
- 4:52Speaker 7: leave of absence effected April two thousand and one, before
- 4:55Speaker 7: formally withdrawing effective July thirty first, two thousand and three.
- 5:01Speaker 7: During his time Brown Nuevas Valente was enrolled only in
- 5:05Speaker 7: physics classes.
- 5:08Speaker 4: Days and days are going by. They show this one guy,
- 5:11Speaker 4: Mustafa Kombuch or something like that. Then they take his
- 5:15Speaker 4: name down and they say, he's not the guy. The
- 5:18Speaker 4: other guy is another guy, Davis, what some white guy.
- 5:23Speaker 4: He wasn't the guy either. Now all of a sudden,
- 5:25Speaker 4: they've got this guy, the dead guy. He's definitely the guy.
- 5:28Speaker 4: Now I get it. I get how investigative work works,
- 5:30Speaker 4: and I understand it's not a perfect world and we're
- 5:32Speaker 4: kind of bloodthirsty with wanting results. I get that too.
- 5:35Speaker 4: The part that I think I don't get is when
- 5:38Speaker 4: you have members of the community attending press conferences asking
- 5:43Speaker 4: questions like why are these cameras disconnected? Because members of
- 5:47Speaker 4: the local police department are telling me that it's because
- 5:51Speaker 4: you don't want to release the images, names and faces
- 5:54Speaker 4: of people entering and exiting this building because they're illegal aliens.
- 5:59Speaker 4: Now I don't know how that is, but that's something
- 6:02Speaker 4: that happened at one of these press conferences, and it
- 6:05Speaker 4: was quite eye opening. Listen to this. And then because they.
- 6:11Speaker 8: Santo City law that we have, you don't want to
- 6:15Speaker 8: recall illegal email once and you don't want to provide
- 6:17Speaker 8: the footage to the PI or Immigration on one camera
- 6:22Speaker 8: and he come up from God Themphis, their friend of mine.
- 6:25Speaker 8: They aren't this investigation these people and.
- 6:30Speaker 4: Can versal.
- 6:32Speaker 8: Do you imagine how the family want to go through.
- 6:35Speaker 4: To the media here we.
- 6:39Speaker 9: Heard from both the Brown police chief and the provost
- 6:42Speaker 9: to Brown, who have shared that they have been fully
- 6:44Speaker 9: cooperative and shared. UH been forthcoming with all data and evidence.
- 6:49Speaker 2: That they have.
- 6:50Speaker 9: UH City of Province's experience is the same, which is
- 6:53Speaker 9: that Brown has been entirely cooperative and collaborative and fully
- 6:57Speaker 9: sharing with us. We will be back here to tomorrow
- 7:00Speaker 9: once again if you are not on the press list.
- 7:03Speaker 4: So there you have it, members of the audience, people
- 7:07Speaker 4: from the public, questioning the Attorney General, questioning the investigative
- 7:11Speaker 4: team here. And I don't know how accurate this is
- 7:14Speaker 4: or not, but again it's Rhode Island, right, And I
- 7:17Speaker 4: say that in saying New England is buying large very
- 7:20Speaker 4: liberal who knows what's really happening here? Right? If we
- 7:24Speaker 4: didn't have sanctuary city policies, would we have gotten to
- 7:27Speaker 4: this killer a little bit quicker? Maybe, you know, before
- 7:30Speaker 4: he was able to put a bullet himself. I don't know,
- 7:33Speaker 4: but it doesn't help to hear the detectives are telling
- 7:36Speaker 4: their friends and their neighbors, you know, things will be
- 7:38Speaker 4: going better. And then those people coming to these press
- 7:40Speaker 4: conferences and calling these people out. Now, you could take
- 7:43Speaker 4: the position and say, well, come on, rich, you don't
- 7:45Speaker 4: know if that could have been staged. They're just trying
- 7:47Speaker 4: to attack these guys. Yeah, maybe, but really, who puts
- 7:50Speaker 4: that much effort into something like this. Really, who's really
- 7:53Speaker 4: sitting there saying, today, I am going to go and
- 7:55Speaker 4: derail a press conference, and I'm going to do it
- 7:57Speaker 4: in the name of illegal immigration. And to be a
- 8:00Speaker 4: guy with such a thick Hispanic accent, it's unfakable. The
- 8:03Speaker 4: man's accent. He's clearly an immigrant, was born somewhere else
- 8:06Speaker 4: and came to this country. And even he's bothered by
- 8:08Speaker 4: this stuff. So a lot of this stuff it doesn't
- 8:10Speaker 4: add up. But sometimes evil and crazy just doesn't add
- 8:13Speaker 4: up right, It just doesn't. It doesn't always fit nicely
- 8:17Speaker 4: and neatly into a little bow the way we'd like
- 8:19Speaker 4: it to. Sometimes you have a new police chief like
- 8:21Speaker 4: Oscar Perez here that people are saying he's dirty and
- 8:24Speaker 4: he's involved in drugs, and I don't know if any
- 8:26Speaker 4: that's true, and I don't think that this is some
- 8:29Speaker 4: sort of fake case that was designed just to expose
- 8:32Speaker 4: this man. If it is, then hey, they're elaborate, their genius,
- 8:35Speaker 4: and I wish them luck. I think the reality here
- 8:39Speaker 4: is people at times, many times are not ready for
- 8:43Speaker 4: what may come because you don't know what may come.
- 8:45Speaker 4: And I can only say that in the context of
- 8:47Speaker 4: the way I know my life. In my life it's
- 8:50Speaker 4: live radio. Sometimes in live radio, things happen all sorts
- 8:54Speaker 4: of things. You might lose a feed your live feed,
- 8:56Speaker 4: you might lose a guest, you might get knocked off
- 8:59Speaker 4: the air, some sort of breaking news may happen when
- 9:01Speaker 4: you had a great show planned and I want to
- 9:04Speaker 4: talk about all these great things, and then something else
- 9:06Speaker 4: comes in and you got to stick with that. Or
- 9:07Speaker 4: you're covering something live and you're trying to give the
- 9:10Speaker 4: best information you can and you can't because there is
- 9:13Speaker 4: no new information. You roll with the punches, You do
- 9:16Speaker 4: the best you can. You rely on your training, you
- 9:19Speaker 4: rely on your personality, you rely on your instinct, crack
- 9:23Speaker 4: a few jokes about AOC and move on to the
- 9:25Speaker 4: next topic, what are you going to do? But in
- 9:27Speaker 4: this case, it really is sad, and people do have
- 9:30Speaker 4: a lot of questions, and the way it ended up
- 9:32Speaker 4: is so unfortunate, all of this after a five day
- 9:36Speaker 4: man hunt to find a guy who'd already checked himself out.
- 9:39Speaker 4: And I don't mean to be sarcastic here, just you know,
- 9:42Speaker 4: these families are looking for justice, and here you have
- 9:44Speaker 4: evil doing what evil does, classic evil, taking the easy
- 9:48Speaker 4: way out, denying justice to these families. Now some might say, well,
- 9:51Speaker 4: he's dead, so you know, eye for an eye. I
- 9:54Speaker 4: think the fact that he died in his own hand
- 9:56Speaker 4: and didn't pay the price to someone else is really
- 9:59Speaker 4: it would bother me. But prayers and thoughts with the family,
- 10:02Speaker 4: for sure, And praise to the tipsters and the cops
- 10:06Speaker 4: who put this thing together through the rental car video.
- 10:09Speaker 4: They were searching through Reddit and good old detective work.
- 10:14Speaker 4: You know, sometimes as a New Yorker you grow up
- 10:16Speaker 4: knowing that the streets don't play.
- 10:18Speaker 9: Now.
- 10:18Speaker 4: I'm not from the roughest part of town, but you
- 10:20Speaker 4: see things. I guess you learn to comport yourself a
- 10:23Speaker 4: certain way. One thing that has always been wrong and
- 10:25Speaker 4: I think will always be wrong. Is innocent kids studying
- 10:28Speaker 4: for finals in a classroom, a brilliant professor murdering these people,
- 10:35Speaker 4: all because likely he had some failed academic grudge. I mean,
- 10:39Speaker 4: this is just tragic, to say the least. But thankfully
- 10:42Speaker 4: the threat is over and this clown is dead. And
- 10:46Speaker 4: we'll get into a little bit more of that a
- 10:47Speaker 4: little bit later. But it does beg the question how
- 10:51Speaker 4: did this guy get into the country, How did we
- 10:53Speaker 4: admit him? What was his purpose? Was he coming here
- 10:55Speaker 4: as a student? We'll get this. The shooter got in
- 10:59Speaker 4: through adversity vis a lottery program years back again, because
- 11:03Speaker 4: it's been twenty years since he was a student. Now
- 11:06Speaker 4: throwing beato. Donaldis magnus to forty fifth and forty seventh
- 11:09Speaker 4: president of these United States at presidente he's paused the
- 11:12Speaker 4: whole program to protect Americans. I think that's a smart move,
- 11:15Speaker 4: not necessarily because of this, but definitely in part smart move.
- 11:21Speaker 4: No more rolling the dice on who gets into the country.
- 11:24Speaker 4: At some point you have to say, hold on a second,
- 11:25Speaker 4: let's take a pause, Let's get a beat and see
- 11:28Speaker 4: what's going on. It's not anti immigrant, it's not xenophobia,
- 11:30Speaker 4: it's not what about the hardworking people looking for peace
- 11:33Speaker 4: and safety. It's none of that. It's how about the
- 11:35Speaker 4: hardworking people looking for peace and safety here in the
- 11:38Speaker 4: United States. We can't manage what we have, so we
- 11:41Speaker 4: can't take on anymore. It's that simple. Anyway, We've got
- 11:45Speaker 4: a couple other things here on the big win side
- 11:49Speaker 4: of things, my man Dan Bongino. Lots of conservatives are
- 11:52Speaker 4: celebrating his comeback to the microphone, which is anticipated as
- 11:57Speaker 4: he's announced that he has completed his work with the
- 12:00Speaker 4: FBI as of January, he'll be coming back. I think
- 12:04Speaker 4: that's a very important thing. Mangino is one of the
- 12:06Speaker 4: generals in conservative media and he definitely will be a
- 12:11Speaker 4: big value add as he was in the FBI in
- 12:16Speaker 4: the media for El Trampito, for the Movement for America.
- 12:19Speaker 4: So kudos to Dan Bongino. Godspeed, my brother. Let's see
- 12:23Speaker 4: what else do we got here? A couple of quick hits.
- 12:28Speaker 4: There's that viral Target meltdown, right. This lady's a nurse
- 12:32Speaker 4: and she goes on an all out crazy harassing spur
- 12:36Speaker 4: of hatred with this seventy two year old, sweet little
- 12:40Speaker 4: grandma who worked at Target, just because she was wearing
- 12:43Speaker 4: a Charlie Kirk freedom shirt. This bully apparently is now
- 12:47Speaker 4: begging for forgiveness. I got a couple of audio clips
- 12:50Speaker 4: I want to play for you on this one. This
- 12:51Speaker 4: is an interesting story that I think is totally just wrong,
- 12:54Speaker 4: and it's wrong with It's what's wrong with society right
- 12:58Speaker 4: now in my opinion. So now the hospital's saying, please
- 13:02Speaker 4: stop calling us, we can't handle the overflow. And there's
- 13:05Speaker 4: a GoFundMe account for the little Abbelita who is it's
- 13:09Speaker 4: blowing up. She's making a lot of money on this,
- 13:11Speaker 4: so good for her, and we're gonna get to that
- 13:13Speaker 4: in a little bit. And to lighten things up, I
- 13:15Speaker 4: got a funny human interest story that's gonna go viral.
- 13:19Speaker 4: Where it's been going viral, I should say, today Thursday,
- 13:23Speaker 4: and it's out of Los Angeles to real life. Reindeer
- 13:26Speaker 4: escaped from a transport trailer and went dashing through the snow.
- 13:30Speaker 4: There's no snow in California, but they went dashing through
- 13:33Speaker 4: the traffic on the five Freeway like they were, you know,
- 13:38Speaker 4: late for Santa's Workshop. And the drivers are slamming on
- 13:40Speaker 4: the brakes. Cops are chasing these antlered fugitives during the
- 13:44Speaker 4: rush hour, pure holiday chaos. You gotta love it. It's
- 13:46Speaker 4: like right out of a movie. And they got rounded
- 13:48Speaker 4: up safely. Good thing they didn't get shot like those
- 13:51Speaker 4: monkeys did a couple of weeks back. And I think
- 13:56Speaker 4: every now and again, you gotta let some steam off, right,
- 13:58Speaker 4: even if it's reindeer running around or throwing back a
- 14:01Speaker 4: few coquitos at the family Christmas party. No chebuena at
- 14:05Speaker 4: least navi that all that good stuff. We're gonna get
- 14:08Speaker 4: into that too, maybe maybe not later, but maybe Monday
- 14:12Speaker 4: or later on Friday. But ultimately in America, you've got
- 14:17Speaker 4: the target lady, you know, attacking the little grandma for
- 14:21Speaker 4: wearing the shirt that she didn't like. You've got the
- 14:25Speaker 4: graduate student that comes back shoots a professor and a
- 14:28Speaker 4: couple of students, and we have no idea why twenty
- 14:30Speaker 4: years after he was a student. Lots of unanswered questions
- 14:33Speaker 4: because evil oftentimes shrouds itself in cowardice, but good prevails, right,
- 14:40Speaker 4: and the Bible says you got to repay evil with good.
- 14:45Speaker 4: So it's kind of like adding a little bit of extraso,
- 14:49Speaker 4: a little extra sofrito to your Christmas Berdnina or whatever
- 14:52Speaker 4: you make on Christmas, you gotta give it a little extra.
- 14:56Speaker 4: You've got to look past the bad stuff to give
- 14:58Speaker 4: a little bit of extra goodness in life. At least
- 15:00Speaker 4: that's the way I see it, and I try. I
- 15:02Speaker 4: don't always get it right, trust me, I'd say most
- 15:04Speaker 4: times I don't get it right. But the phone lines
- 15:07Speaker 4: are open. Eight seven seven VALVEDESK one. I want to
- 15:09Speaker 4: hear your take on all of the stuff that's going on.
- 15:12Speaker 4: Is this camera system not working or not having enough cameras?
- 15:16Speaker 4: Is it helping? Is it hurting? Is it a fix? Tomorrow?
- 15:19Speaker 4: We got some big stories coming out as well. Friday.
- 15:21Speaker 4: You got the Epstein files that are dropping. Finally, some
- 15:25Speaker 4: additional transparency coming from a trumpito, which he said he
- 15:29Speaker 4: would do, and he signed the bill, and the day
- 15:31Speaker 4: of reckoning is upon us. We also have President Trump's
- 15:35Speaker 4: one PM address on slashing drug prices and a bunch
- 15:38Speaker 4: of other updates. Plus guess what inflation is down? And
- 15:41Speaker 4: we got some Harvard professor who's even had to admit
- 15:44Speaker 4: it on TV. We're gonna have more on that in
- 15:46Speaker 4: a little bit. Plus I want to chat with you
- 15:47Speaker 4: guys about cryptocurrency. As well, and former Vice President K. Maliadas.
- 15:52Speaker 4: She's back. That's right, KM Malidas, which means how bad
- 15:56Speaker 4: you are in Spanish. Kamala Harris was on Late night
- 15:59Speaker 4: TV attacking El Trompito the President Trump, and we've got
- 16:04Speaker 4: the receipts. We're going to get to that as well.
- 16:06Speaker 4: Plus what happened to this lady in the target incident?
- 16:10Speaker 4: I mentioned to you verbally berating this cute old lady. Well,
- 16:16Speaker 4: we're gonna hear all about it. Keep it locked right here,
- 16:18Speaker 4: there's more to come straight ahead. I'm rich Valdes.
- 16:21Speaker 2: This is America, this is America. He's brown, he's bald,
- 16:39Speaker 2: and he's breaking it down.
- 16:41Speaker 4: Oh he's so hadsome.
- 16:42Speaker 2: What's his day, Rich Veldes?
- 16:45Speaker 4: All right, he goes. Welcome back, Rich val Dead. He's
- 16:48Speaker 4: been your company here. And I want to get into
- 16:52Speaker 4: this statement made by President Trump from the White House. Nope,
- 16:57Speaker 4: I don't want to get to that. I don't have
- 16:58Speaker 4: it yet. That's tomorrow, so I want to get into
- 17:03Speaker 4: let me see much on my list here. Ah, it was.
- 17:06Speaker 4: I was going to call him JFK RFK Junior making
- 17:09Speaker 4: a statement that men are not women. This is a
- 17:12Speaker 4: good one. This is a statement that came out of Washington, DC,
- 17:15Speaker 4: but not from the White House. Listen to this.
- 17:19Speaker 10: Men are men. Men can never become women. Women are women.
- 17:28Speaker 10: Women can never become men. Children are innocent and they
- 17:40Speaker 10: need our protection.
- 17:47Speaker 3: On this vote, the a's are two sixteen, the naser
- 17:50Speaker 3: two to eleven.
- 17:50Speaker 4: The bill has passed without objection. The motion to reconsider
- 17:53Speaker 4: is laid on the table. That is Congressman Scott Dejarlais
- 17:59Speaker 4: who who is the Speaker pro tem passing the bill
- 18:04Speaker 4: to protect students and children across America With the new
- 18:10Speaker 4: bill that came out of the House with a transgender care,
- 18:16Speaker 4: I guess a gender affirming care is the best way
- 18:18Speaker 4: to put it. This has been passed by the House.
- 18:21Speaker 4: The question is will the Senate pass it? Is this
- 18:24Speaker 4: going to be allowed by the Senate. I don't have
- 18:26Speaker 4: an answer for that. I would suspect that they are.
- 18:29Speaker 4: If it does get through the Senate, this would in
- 18:32Speaker 4: fact become federally prohibited. And I think that's interesting. It's
- 18:37Speaker 4: an interesting place for the country to be. We went
- 18:40Speaker 4: from a couple of years ago bending over backwards, taking
- 18:43Speaker 4: parents hostage, telling people, hey, listen, you are going to
- 18:47Speaker 4: have a dead son rather than a living daughter if
- 18:50Speaker 4: you don't let your son become a daughter. And now
- 18:53Speaker 4: we've got this well. Secretary Kennedy also weighing in on
- 18:56Speaker 4: this policy. Check this out.
- 18:58Speaker 3: Doctors assume a Solomon application to protect children. Yet doctors
- 19:03Speaker 3: across the country now provide needless and irreversible sex rejecting
- 19:07Speaker 3: procedures that violate their sacred hypocratical oaths and dangering the
- 19:12Speaker 3: very lives that they are sworn to safeguard. The American
- 19:17Speaker 3: Medical Association the American Academy of Pediatrics battled the lie
- 19:22Speaker 3: that chemical and surgical sex rejecting procedures could be good
- 19:26Speaker 3: for children who suffer from gender to ysphoria. They betrayed
- 19:31Speaker 3: the estimated three hundred thousand American youths ages thirteen to
- 19:35Speaker 3: seventeen conditioned to believe that sex can be changed. They
- 19:40Speaker 3: betray their hippocratic oath to do no harm. So called
- 19:44Speaker 3: gender affirming care has inflicted lasting physical and psychological damage
- 19:49Speaker 3: on vulnerable young people. This is not medicine, it is malpractice.
- 19:55Speaker 4: That's a strong statement there from Secretary Robert F. Kennedy
- 19:59Speaker 4: on this process and practice. Some call it a brutality
- 20:04Speaker 4: that we call gender affirming care. I don't call it
- 20:09Speaker 4: kale call it. I call it exchange, but the new
- 20:13Speaker 4: euphemism that's been created for gender affirming care. And he
- 20:17Speaker 4: goes into talking about the impact that this has on
- 20:20Speaker 4: not only on the physical well being and the harm
- 20:23Speaker 4: that it causes the kids, but also on how much
- 20:25Speaker 4: money big pharma makes off the process. Go ahead.
- 20:29Speaker 3: We're done with junk science driven by ideological pursuits, not
- 20:35Speaker 3: the wellbeing of children. A peer reviewed report published by
- 20:39Speaker 3: the HHS Authice of the Assistant Secretary for Health last
- 20:44Speaker 3: months confirms that sex rejecting procedures imposed medical dangers and
- 20:49Speaker 3: lasting harm on children who receive these interventions. So today
- 20:55Speaker 3: we are taking six decisive actions guided by gold standards, adience,
- 21:01Speaker 3: and the week one executive order from President Trump to
- 21:04Speaker 3: protect children from chemical and surgical mutilation. This morning I
- 21:10Speaker 3: signed a declaration sex rejecting procedures are neither safe nor
- 21:14Speaker 3: effective treatment for children, less genderness for you.
- 21:25Speaker 4: Now he goes on, and I want to let him
- 21:27Speaker 4: go on because for the full context of his comments,
- 21:29Speaker 4: I'm only going to play another minute or so of
- 21:31Speaker 4: what we have. But ultimately this is a I think
- 21:38Speaker 4: a very important place, all right, a very very important
- 21:41Speaker 4: place for us to land. And the question is, now,
- 21:46Speaker 4: will the Senate honor the House vote that bans this
- 21:50Speaker 4: gender affirming care. I don't know that it's going to
- 21:54Speaker 4: I hope that it does. But it's a question that
- 22:00Speaker 4: we have to ask ourselves, right because we can't continue
- 22:03Speaker 4: to pretend that this is okay. It's not okay. I mean,
- 22:08Speaker 4: I don't know how many ways to say it. It's
- 22:10Speaker 4: not okay that we frame this in the light of
- 22:13Speaker 4: somebody who says, hey, it's not okay that you take
- 22:16Speaker 4: your kid and allow them to become whatever they say
- 22:19Speaker 4: they feel like they want to be. And the way
- 22:24Speaker 4: that we've changed as a society to accept that which
- 22:27Speaker 4: not is is wild to me. They'll go ahead and
- 22:32Speaker 4: say anything, they'll say no, no, no, But look, you believe
- 22:35Speaker 4: in a god. You can't see why can't I believe
- 22:38Speaker 4: in something that I feel. You could believe in whatever
- 22:40Speaker 4: you want. But we can't throw out the law. We
- 22:43Speaker 4: have laws, and the laws say that you can't do
- 22:47Speaker 4: harm to children, not just the doctors, the parents. As
- 22:51Speaker 4: a parent, you're in trouble if you hit your kid
- 22:54Speaker 4: too hard. What about saying all right, little Susie, we're
- 22:58Speaker 4: gonna let you get a mass dectory, or little Johnny,
- 23:01Speaker 4: we're going to start estrogen therapy to stop your testosterone
- 23:05Speaker 4: before your voice gets any deeper, before you start growing
- 23:08Speaker 4: hair in your armpits, before you actually become the biological
- 23:12Speaker 4: man God intended you to be. And if you don't
- 23:14Speaker 4: believe in God to be the biological man that you
- 23:17Speaker 4: were quote unquote assigned at birth, assigned by who, I'm
- 23:20Speaker 4: guessing God, it's not the doctor that assigns these things,
- 23:23Speaker 4: Mother nature, whatever you want to call it. Whole thing
- 23:25Speaker 4: is out of control, yet we somehow normalized it. And
- 23:28Speaker 4: if you say anything like I'm saying, or what RFK
- 23:31Speaker 4: is saying, or what Trumpito is saying, or what many
- 23:33Speaker 4: parents across the country are saying, all of a sudden,
- 23:35Speaker 4: now you're the bad guy. You're the crazy, you're the xenophobe.
- 23:38Speaker 4: You are somehow in the wrong for saying I want
- 23:42Speaker 4: to let my kid make their own choices when they're
- 23:43Speaker 4: a legal adult, but then it's too late and they're
- 23:46Speaker 4: going to kill themselves. I think the study show these
- 23:49Speaker 4: kids are killing themselves a whole lot more now than
- 23:51Speaker 4: they are if they don't do it all right, So
- 23:53Speaker 4: let's look at the facts, right. This is from the legislature,
- 23:56Speaker 4: the state legislature the State of North Dakota. Document is
- 24:00Speaker 4: titled the Myth about Suicide and Gendernice for Children. Why
- 24:03Speaker 4: would parents allow gender confused kids to undergo these dangerous
- 24:08Speaker 4: medical interventions? In many cases, the answer is lies, lies
- 24:12Speaker 4: about emotional health, and the blackmail that they use to
- 24:14Speaker 4: get it done. It sounds like this, if you don't
- 24:16Speaker 4: let me do this, I'll kill myself. They hear that
- 24:18Speaker 4: from their kid. The threat of suicide is then reinforced
- 24:21Speaker 4: by members of the transgender industry, saying would you rather
- 24:24Speaker 4: have a living son or a dead daughter? This is
- 24:29Speaker 4: what happens, and the health professionals are supporting this, and
- 24:33Speaker 4: it's very troubling. In no other medical or psychological condition
- 24:37Speaker 4: is suicide in a patient, let alone a child expected
- 24:41Speaker 4: and allowed to dictate the treatment. Children are cognitively immature
- 24:47Speaker 4: to begin with, so their thinking is further impaired when
- 24:50Speaker 4: it's suicidal. According to the document, they say this is
- 24:54Speaker 4: gross and medically negligent. Sounds right to me. The suicide
- 24:58Speaker 4: of anyone, especially person is obviously a tragedy. And all
- 25:02Speaker 4: suicide threats should be taken seriously, but the occurrence of
- 25:06Speaker 4: completed suicides amongst young trans children is very rare, and
- 25:13Speaker 4: it's comparable to that of other risk groups with anorexia
- 25:17Speaker 4: and autism. More importantly, there's no long term evidence that
- 25:22Speaker 4: puberty blockers, cross sex hormones, or transition surgeries actually prevent
- 25:26Speaker 4: suicide at all. On the contrary, the best long term
- 25:30Speaker 4: research shows that individuals who do go through a medical
- 25:33Speaker 4: transition kill themselves at a rate nineteen times greater than
- 25:38Speaker 4: the general population. So what's the scientific bottom line? Well,
- 25:43Speaker 4: in Sweden they did a study and the child and
- 25:47Speaker 4: adolescent psychiatrist Saven Roman, who's not a conservative by the way,
- 25:52Speaker 4: he sums up the research saying there's no current scientific
- 25:57Speaker 4: support for gender corrective treatment to reduce the ris risk
- 26:00Speaker 4: of suicide period the end. Punto iffinet Psychologist doctor Michael
- 26:04Speaker 4: Bailey from Northwestern University and doctor Ray Blanchard from the
- 26:08Speaker 4: University of Toronto, they agree the best scientific evidence suggests
- 26:12Speaker 4: that gender transition is not necessary to prevent suicide. There
- 26:16Speaker 4: is no persuasive evidence that gender transition reduces gender dysphoric
- 26:21Speaker 4: children's likelihood of killing themselves. So we look at this
- 26:25Speaker 4: evidence a you've got the suicide risk amongst transi identified
- 26:32Speaker 4: children is less than or comparable with other what they
- 26:37Speaker 4: call at risk groups in the same youth categories. Being
- 26:42Speaker 4: trans identified increases suicide risk by a factor of thirteen,
- 26:50Speaker 4: anarexia increases the risk of suicide by a factor of
- 26:54Speaker 4: eighteen to thirty one, depression multiplies the risk of suicide
- 27:00Speaker 4: by a factor of twenty, and autism raises the risk
- 27:05Speaker 4: of suicide by a rate of eight or a factor
- 27:09Speaker 4: of eight. So clearly the trans part of it is
- 27:14Speaker 4: less than anorexia and depression and slightly more than autism,
- 27:18Speaker 4: but in line with that range. And yet you never
- 27:22Speaker 4: hear them using the idea that your kid's going to
- 27:26Speaker 4: kill themselves because of this as the route for care. Instead,
- 27:30Speaker 4: you always hear them actually going for the care. So
- 27:33Speaker 4: why why have the medical professionals been so co opted
- 27:37Speaker 4: and corrupted? My guess is money. The other part of
- 27:41Speaker 4: my guess is always the same answer, emotionality. When you
- 27:45Speaker 4: use emotional blackmail with any group, this is what moves
- 27:49Speaker 4: the left. That's why they're called bleeding heart liberals. If
- 27:52Speaker 4: you can find the stone cold stoic, I don't give
- 27:57Speaker 4: a bleep inside of you and look at facts for facts.
- 28:03Speaker 4: We'd be so much better off as a society. We
- 28:05Speaker 4: wouldn't be dropping everything we're doing on the whim of
- 28:11Speaker 4: the next big thing that moves us emotionally, because ultimately
- 28:14Speaker 4: it's these emotional arguments about the downtrod and about this,
- 28:18Speaker 4: about that, the perceived injustice that every Marxist will use
- 28:23Speaker 4: every single time to drive a wedge in any situation,
- 28:26Speaker 4: irrespective of it being true. If I for a second
- 28:30Speaker 4: believe that I could never have made it in talk
- 28:33Speaker 4: radio to the levels that I did, getting a show
- 28:36Speaker 4: in the largest market in America, New York City, then
- 28:40Speaker 4: moving from having a show in New York City to
- 28:44Speaker 4: having a podcast that became nationally popular and has been
- 28:48Speaker 4: for the last eight years, to then getting a big show,
- 28:52Speaker 4: a syndicated show nationally on hundreds of radio stations, hurt
- 28:55Speaker 4: by millions of people, on one of the largest radio
- 28:59Speaker 4: syndicate in America. If I would have believed that because
- 29:02Speaker 4: I was a Puerto Rican kid born to parents from
- 29:05Speaker 4: Puerto Rico, an American from Brooklyn, New York, of Puerto
- 29:10Speaker 4: Rican heritage, if I believe what they're telling me that
- 29:13Speaker 4: because I'm brown and because of my heritage and the
- 29:17Speaker 4: history of my parents, I could never achieve anything. In fact,
- 29:22Speaker 4: I should probably be in jail, right, because that's what
- 29:25Speaker 4: the left would want you to believe, because they try
- 29:27Speaker 4: to dictate the future. Instead, I believed quite the opposite.
- 29:31Speaker 4: I believe most of what Ronald Reagan talked about when
- 29:33Speaker 4: I was a kid that I heard, and I heard
- 29:35Speaker 4: my mom, you know, intently listening to Ronald Reagan when
- 29:38Speaker 4: it would come on the television, the first and only
- 29:41Speaker 4: color television in our home, by the way. So I
- 29:45Speaker 4: say that not for a pat on the back or
- 29:47Speaker 4: anything like that. I say that because you have to
- 29:49Speaker 4: look at things for the fact that exists. When I
- 29:54Speaker 4: was a teenager, I didn't have enough money to buy
- 29:56Speaker 4: the cool sneakers I wanted to buy, so I figured
- 29:59Speaker 4: out different ways of getting that money, and one of
- 30:02Speaker 4: those ways was giving makeshift haircuts with a pair of
- 30:05Speaker 4: clippers that I happened to find around my house. And
- 30:09Speaker 4: while I started, I guess we can call it an illegal,
- 30:12Speaker 4: underground barbershop business in my dad's apartment, and that turned
- 30:16Speaker 4: into an actual business. I went to school to study
- 30:20Speaker 4: cosmetology while I was still in high school. These crazy
- 30:25Speaker 4: things I now understand was the ADHD in me. You know,
- 30:28Speaker 4: I didn't have a whole lot. My dad didn't hit
- 30:30Speaker 4: the brakes either. He didn't say, hey, listen, no, no, you're
- 30:32Speaker 4: going to finish high school and then you're going to go
- 30:33Speaker 4: to school. I said, no, no, I'm going to finish high
- 30:35Speaker 4: school at night, so I can go to school during
- 30:37Speaker 4: the day and go to night's school to get my
- 30:40Speaker 4: high school diploma while I'm getting my permit to cut hair.
- 30:44Speaker 4: To do cosmetology during the daytime made all a sense
- 30:47Speaker 4: in the world to me. And again, I didn't wait
- 30:49Speaker 4: for a to get to b It was kart before
- 30:53Speaker 4: the horse for me. I went. I took a lease
- 30:55Speaker 4: on a space and had a barbershop well before I
- 30:58Speaker 4: was ever licensed to cut hair in a barbershop, and
- 31:01Speaker 4: I had a guy that was quote unquote our shop manager,
- 31:04Speaker 4: the guy that we bought the equipment from. Anyway, that's
- 31:06Speaker 4: a story for another day. But my point is, if
- 31:09Speaker 4: you believe that there is opportunity, you'll you'll find the opportunity.
- 31:15Speaker 4: If you ask for forgiveness rather than permission, you might
- 31:20Speaker 4: achieve the results you're looking for. But if you stop
- 31:23Speaker 4: and say, but what about? What about? What about because
- 31:25Speaker 4: they said I'm brown, or because they said I'm this,
- 31:27Speaker 4: or because my parents didn't go to college, or because whatever.
- 31:31Speaker 4: I need to go down this path because I'm downtrodden,
- 31:33Speaker 4: because the white people hate me, because there's inherent racism,
- 31:36Speaker 4: because the system is rigged against me, because because because
- 31:39Speaker 4: because whay whow why No, it doesn't work that way.
- 31:43Speaker 4: And it's that same emotionality that they're using now in
- 31:46Speaker 4: science of all places, to try and get people to
- 31:50Speaker 4: turn their backs on the reality of what God intended.
- 31:53Speaker 4: Boys are boys, girls are girls. It's like the most
- 31:57Speaker 4: basic elementary idea from the movie Kindergarten Cop. Boys have
- 32:03Speaker 4: a penis and girls have a vagina. Right, little kindergarten
- 32:06Speaker 4: kids said that it was hilarious, it was hysterical, and
- 32:09Speaker 4: it was true that and it's true. Now all right,
- 32:11Speaker 4: he goes keep it locked right here, we're coming back.
- 32:13Speaker 4: We're going to talk about the target. Abuelita, What else
- 32:15Speaker 4: do I got? And we've got some cryptocurrency I want
- 32:18Speaker 4: to talk about. Inflation is down. We got the Harvard lawyer.
- 32:21Speaker 4: We'll do that one straight ahead, the Harvard lawyer was
- 32:24Speaker 4: forced to admit that inflation is down. And you know,
- 32:26Speaker 4: they wanted to take shots at drunk Beat if they could.
- 32:29Speaker 4: But he's doing everything he can he's able to do
- 32:33Speaker 4: to move the economy forward. And rather than the positives
- 32:37Speaker 4: being noted, people are trying to paint it like it's
- 32:40Speaker 4: the end of the world. Don't go anywhere. I'm Rich Feldez.
- 32:45Speaker 1: This is America. This is America.
- 33:02Speaker 4: The forty fifth President Donald Trump thinks it's an honor
- 33:05Speaker 4: to speak with Rich Valdez.
- 33:07Speaker 6: Oh, very good.
- 33:10Speaker 10: And honor.
- 33:10Speaker 11: Thanks.
- 33:12Speaker 4: The honor is all yours. Conservative talk with a dash
- 33:17Speaker 4: of sofrito. Now here's Rich Valdez. All right, I mean
- 33:23Speaker 4: he goes, welcome back. We continue the conversation, and I
- 33:26Speaker 4: want to get into this back and forth. Inflation being down.
- 33:30Speaker 4: I think that is a huge deal, very important for
- 33:33Speaker 4: us to acknowledge and talk about inflation being down. I
- 33:38Speaker 4: got a story that I want to share with you,
- 33:39Speaker 4: an article I want to read. Plus I have this
- 33:41Speaker 4: clip from the lawyer. Let's start with that.
- 33:43Speaker 12: I mean, I was surprised it was a better number
- 33:45Speaker 12: than anyone was expecting. Look, inflation has been very high.
- 33:52Speaker 12: It's stayed high and it's not been coming down. But
- 33:55Speaker 12: you know, people were expecting it to be above three percent.
- 33:58Speaker 4: It was well below three percent.
- 34:00Speaker 12: I mean, I think the president will take this as
- 34:03Speaker 12: good news. The investors will think that interest rates will
- 34:06Speaker 12: get caught more. So, you know it, it was a
- 34:09Speaker 12: positive news. There's no other way to spend.
- 34:11Speaker 4: It, no other way to spend it, because people like
- 34:14Speaker 4: him and others are looking for our country to fail.
- 34:18Speaker 4: They're looking for our commander in chief to fail. They're
- 34:21Speaker 4: looking for our economy to fail, and they're looking for
- 34:23Speaker 4: you and me to fail. We the people, and listen.
- 34:26Speaker 4: I hate to put it so dire, right. I'm not
- 34:28Speaker 4: trying to throw bombs here, you know that's not my style.
- 34:31Speaker 4: But the reality is you've got to be all in
- 34:33Speaker 4: for America. You got to be. How could you not be?
- 34:36Speaker 4: How could you live here? It's like living on a
- 34:38Speaker 4: block and the president of the block association comes over
- 34:40Speaker 4: to you and says, hey, look, we're going to do
- 34:42Speaker 4: this thing. We're going to be you know, cleaning up,
- 34:44Speaker 4: cleaning this, fixing that, and you go, you know what,
- 34:46Speaker 4: I'm good. I don't want to be part of this block.
- 34:48Speaker 4: I don't want to be part of your association. I
- 34:49Speaker 4: don't want to help out. I'm not here to help you.
- 34:51Speaker 4: I'm here to help me. You can't be in it
- 34:53Speaker 4: all for self when you live in this place, if
- 34:56Speaker 4: you're in America and you're paying bills in America, and
- 34:59Speaker 4: you even and if you're independently wealthy. Look at Trump.
- 35:02Speaker 4: You think Trump, Do you think it makes a difference
- 35:05Speaker 4: for him or his kids or his grandkids if things
- 35:09Speaker 4: go up or down. Not really. They're still going to
- 35:14Speaker 4: live the same lifestyle they live whether they have thirteen
- 35:17Speaker 4: billion or three billion. They're rich. Rich people don't care
- 35:22Speaker 4: for the most part, right. That's why they usually get
- 35:24Speaker 4: into the most liberal politics, because they're just like, whatever,
- 35:27Speaker 4: I'll just move to my house in Nantucket. I'll just
- 35:29Speaker 4: go to my house in the Hamptons. I'll go to
- 35:30Speaker 4: my house in Miami. That's it. I don't have to
- 35:33Speaker 4: stay here. It's you and me, the working stiff that
- 35:37Speaker 4: say I got nowhere else to go for now. Look
- 35:40Speaker 4: at me. I've been trying to get to Florida forever,
- 35:41Speaker 4: and I could probably be in Florida. I mean, it's
- 35:43Speaker 4: not a question of can I afford it? Maybe sometimes
- 35:45Speaker 4: it is it's the question of can I afford a
- 35:48Speaker 4: three bedroom place in Florida as opposed to a one
- 35:51Speaker 4: or two bedroom, Right, That's really what it comes down
- 35:54Speaker 4: to them. I want to make sure I have enough
- 35:55Speaker 4: space like I do in Jersey, to provide for my
- 35:58Speaker 4: kids in Florida, should they want to come live with
- 36:00Speaker 4: me or if I don't want to host something. And
- 36:02Speaker 4: you know, real estate's expensive in Brickle Miami, that's where
- 36:05Speaker 4: I want to be. Anyway, that's a different point. But
- 36:08Speaker 4: the point is this professor says, there's no other way
- 36:10Speaker 4: to spin it. Its positive news. Of course, I expect
- 36:12Speaker 4: inflation to come down. I expect jobs to go up.
- 36:16Speaker 4: I expect real wages to go up. Why because I've
- 36:18Speaker 4: seen what Trump did in his first term, and I
- 36:20Speaker 4: don't think it was a fluke, unlike President Obama, who said,
- 36:24Speaker 4: but he's going to do wave a magic wand oh,
- 36:25Speaker 4: what's it going to do? Well? Uh, let me be clear.
- 36:27Speaker 4: He's going to wave a magic wand yeah. It's called
- 36:30Speaker 4: cutting back red tape and allowing our economic engines to roar,
- 36:34Speaker 4: allowing energy to do its thing. And he's been doing
- 36:37Speaker 4: it and now he's doing even better with the stuff
- 36:39Speaker 4: he's doing with Venezuela. Great. If we can reclaim some
- 36:42Speaker 4: of the energy that was once you know, part of
- 36:46Speaker 4: a lease deal with the United States that was taken
- 36:48Speaker 4: from us, great, I'm all for it, all for it now.
- 36:52Speaker 4: The markets reacted pretty strongly to this, as inflation dropped
- 36:56Speaker 4: to two point seven percent, so three tenths of a
- 36:58Speaker 4: point lower than three percent most people thought can be
- 37:00Speaker 4: higher than three percent. Those most people are those people
- 37:03Speaker 4: that are in the tank for the left, hoping America
- 37:06Speaker 4: will fail right, something Mark Levin calls to hate America
- 37:09Speaker 4: first crowd. But according to this piece in Red State,
- 37:13Speaker 4: inflation cool to two point seven percent in November, falling
- 37:16Speaker 4: short of economists expectations and offering what could be welcome
- 37:20Speaker 4: news for Americans struggling with high costs. The consumer price
- 37:24Speaker 4: index rose two point seven percent over the last twelve months,
- 37:27Speaker 4: according to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, down to down
- 37:32Speaker 4: from three percent in September. Economists surveyed by the Dow
- 37:36Speaker 4: Jones expected it to be at three point one now.
- 37:39Speaker 4: Core inflation, which excludes food and energy. Why I don't
- 37:44Speaker 4: why they don't include that, I have no idea, But
- 37:46Speaker 4: that dropped to two point six annually, the lowest rate
- 37:49Speaker 4: since March of twenty twenty one, before prices started their
- 37:52Speaker 4: historic search. So we are now in pre Biden inflation,
- 37:56Speaker 4: or just about right. Biden was in office for two
- 37:59Speaker 4: months time, going into his third month. Great, but there's
- 38:03Speaker 4: a catch. There's an asterisk next to the numbers. According
- 38:05Speaker 4: to this piece, you have the shutdown problem. The forty
- 38:08Speaker 4: three day government shutdown that ended in mid November left
- 38:11Speaker 4: the BLS unable to collect most of the data that
- 38:14Speaker 4: it needed for October, so they couldn't retroactively gather the information,
- 38:19Speaker 4: leaving economists without the usual monthly comparison points. Data collection
- 38:23Speaker 4: for November didn't start until November fourteenth, meaning the report
- 38:26Speaker 4: captures roughly two weeks of prices rather than a full month.
- 38:30Speaker 4: And I'm saying that that you understand the caveat here.
- 38:34Speaker 4: It also includes because of the timing of it, you
- 38:36Speaker 4: get more Black Friday and holiday discounting than usual. So
- 38:41Speaker 4: it's hard to read too much into the November inflation data.
- 38:45Speaker 4: But I think we're going to see a trend. Even
- 38:49Speaker 4: Jerome Powell, who hates cutting interest rates, he continues to
- 38:53Speaker 4: do it because he realizes that I think it's necessary
- 38:56Speaker 4: to spur the economy. My good friend Steve Moore, who
- 38:58Speaker 4: comes on the program with me all the time, I
- 39:00Speaker 4: should have called him for today. It would have been
- 39:02Speaker 4: a great conversation about this. But and maybe I'll call
- 39:05Speaker 4: him for next week. He often says that we don't
- 39:10Speaker 4: need to lower the FED rate in order to see
- 39:16Speaker 4: the housing market boom. Now, while I think he's theoretically right,
- 39:20Speaker 4: I think as a practical matter, most people are waiting
- 39:24Speaker 4: to see the FED rate drop, and when they do,
- 39:27Speaker 4: they move. But for that reason alone, I disagree with
- 39:31Speaker 4: Steve on that. But it's not a disagreement in merit,
- 39:34Speaker 4: if you will right. It's because I think what he's
- 39:36Speaker 4: saying is accurate. But the reality is when people see
- 39:39Speaker 4: those rates come down, they get a little bit more
- 39:41Speaker 4: bullish on the housing market. We see it all the time.
- 39:45Speaker 4: So this is still overall good news. I wanted to
- 39:48Speaker 4: give you the caveat so that if the left tries
- 39:50Speaker 4: and spin it tea, you know exactly what's going on.
- 39:53Speaker 4: That we're dealing with two weeks worth of numbers than
- 39:55Speaker 4: the whole four weeks because of the government shutdown. But
- 39:58Speaker 4: it's the same thing, and that's why I think Powell
- 40:01Speaker 4: cut these the FED rate. He cut it by twenty
- 40:04Speaker 4: five basis points earlier in the month for the third
- 40:07Speaker 4: consecutive time, and that's good news. So that's what I
- 40:14Speaker 4: wanted to say about that. Now. Of course, whenever I
- 40:16Speaker 4: talk about this, I always get into my conversations with
- 40:19Speaker 4: my good friend Rubin the Cuban, now Ruben the Cuban.
- 40:23Speaker 4: As you know, he came from Havana, Cuba, to the
- 40:26Speaker 4: United States, Key West, Florida on a jet ski. That's
- 40:31Speaker 4: his journey to get out of communism, comes to America,
- 40:35Speaker 4: loves America, live in the dream. But he doesn't like Trump.
- 40:41Speaker 4: Excuse me why. Because he had a trucking business. He
- 40:44Speaker 4: was an independent contractor driving an eighteen wheel rig and
- 40:47Speaker 4: he was doing great, making like eighteen hundred bucks a week,
- 40:50Speaker 4: happiest guy ever. The Trump trade war kicked in with
- 40:53Speaker 4: China back in twenty twenty ish strike twenty nineteen and
- 40:59Speaker 4: twenty seventeen, twenty eighteen, whatever that was, and he lost
- 41:04Speaker 4: his routes, he lost his money, and he pursued a
- 41:09Speaker 4: different business, which is where I met him. He opened
- 41:12Speaker 4: up a Cuban restaurant. It's a great restaurant. He hated
- 41:15Speaker 4: being in the same place all the time. Eventually sold
- 41:17Speaker 4: the restaurant and did well with that too, and I
- 41:19Speaker 4: told him, said, it's funny. You made all this money
- 41:21Speaker 4: with this restaurant. You were able to profit probably on
- 41:24Speaker 4: a higher multiple than most people sell restaurants for and
- 41:29Speaker 4: you did all that during the Trump administration. And he
- 41:33Speaker 4: was very upset by that. But my point is he
- 41:37Speaker 4: doesn't like Trump, and we always talk and he's like that,
- 41:39Speaker 4: it's funny because I went to go buy a steak
- 41:41Speaker 4: and we went out with another friend of ours, one
- 41:44Speaker 4: of my childhood buddies. He ordered a skirt steak at
- 41:48Speaker 4: the Colombian restaurant we go to Big shout out to them,
- 41:51Speaker 4: no ches the Colombia loved that spot, and notably the Turasco.
- 42:00Speaker 4: The skirt steak was noticeably smaller, and we eat this
- 42:04Speaker 4: pretty often there. And they both commented, they're like, man
- 42:07Speaker 4: that inflations kick it in, right, shrink inflation kick it
- 42:10Speaker 4: in on the steak. And it was funny. But Ruben
- 42:12Speaker 4: gives me the evil eye at that moment, saying, you see,
- 42:14Speaker 4: I told you, and he says, go to restaurant depot,
- 42:17Speaker 4: go to the store and try and buy a steak
- 42:18Speaker 4: and see how much steak you're getting for that money.
- 42:20Speaker 4: And then you tell me if inflation's down, You tell
- 42:22Speaker 4: me if Trump's fixing the economy. You tell me what's
- 42:24Speaker 4: going on. And he's always coming at me, and I
- 42:27Speaker 4: tell him, listen, I'm seeing changes at the pump. I'm
- 42:30Speaker 4: seeing the fact that everybody's dealing with this stuff. We
- 42:35Speaker 4: know that there were policies that were put in during
- 42:39Speaker 4: the Biden years, and I hate to be the blame
- 42:41Speaker 4: game guy, but I remember this, like yesterday, in an
- 42:44Speaker 4: effort to protect green whatever, remember that they started adding
- 42:49Speaker 4: an additional per head tax on cattle, and they said,
- 42:55Speaker 4: this is going to hit the cost of beef in
- 42:58Speaker 4: the United States like nothing we've ever seen before, adding
- 43:01Speaker 4: a couple of thousand dollars to the bill on the wholesale,
- 43:05Speaker 4: which obviously was going to come to us unless they
- 43:08Speaker 4: were going to eat it. But how much of an
- 43:10Speaker 4: increase can you eat before you don't make any money.
- 43:14Speaker 4: So responsible places like the place I go to, rather
- 43:17Speaker 4: than raise their prices on their menu, which I think
- 43:19Speaker 4: they've probably had to do, but by not by much,
- 43:23Speaker 4: they give you a smaller portion that's shrinkflation. So I'm
- 43:27Speaker 4: not here to bury my head in the sand like
- 43:29Speaker 4: an Ostrich and say it's not happening. I'm just here
- 43:31Speaker 4: to say this isn't Trump's fault, this is the fault
- 43:34Speaker 4: of the radical left. You realize that if we don't
- 43:37Speaker 4: have these stupid policies in place, and thankfully we have
- 43:40Speaker 4: people like Brook Rawlins and Secretary Vesant and the Secretary
- 43:46Speaker 4: of Commerce and others that are here trying to roll
- 43:49Speaker 4: back a lot of this red tape, but some stuff
- 43:52Speaker 4: still has to go through Congress. There's a lot of
- 43:54Speaker 4: different things that have to happen, and I think these
- 43:57Speaker 4: guys are firing. I don't have a complaint on any
- 43:59Speaker 4: of the I really don't. I think they show up
- 44:02Speaker 4: every day and they're figuring out how to roll things
- 44:04Speaker 4: back to de biden a fi if that's a word,
- 44:09Speaker 4: the United States and so many of our policies. But
- 44:12Speaker 4: it's not easy, and I think we're going to see
- 44:15Speaker 4: those improvements. We do have to see that deal go
- 44:18Speaker 4: through with Argentina. And now a lot of people are
- 44:19Speaker 4: upset about Trump's deal with Argentina. But that's how you
- 44:22Speaker 4: offset things. You say, all right, American beef is way
- 44:25Speaker 4: too expensive because of all these things, and we can't
- 44:27Speaker 4: roll those back just yet, or for whatever roadblocks they're hitting.
- 44:30Speaker 4: We're making a deal. No tariffs on the Argentinian beef.
- 44:33Speaker 4: Let's make a deal killing two birds at one stone.
- 44:38Speaker 4: Now you start to bring in the supply of the
- 44:40Speaker 4: foreign stuff, and guess what happens. Now, all of a sudden,
- 44:43Speaker 4: you might see a decrease on the domestic side. And
- 44:47Speaker 4: you put pressure in the right places, and that's what
- 44:49Speaker 4: has to be done. Sometimes you got to pressure people
- 44:51Speaker 4: so they can pressure the people that are giving you
- 44:54Speaker 4: a hard way to go. Now, another thing I brought
- 44:58Speaker 4: to the attention of my good friend Bruce Level, longtime
- 45:01Speaker 4: advisor to President Trump, who has recently sworn in. Congratulations Bruce.
- 45:05Speaker 4: By the way, I was invited to the swearing in
- 45:07Speaker 4: in Washington, d C. Where Secretary Brook Rawlins swore in
- 45:12Speaker 4: Bruce Level and he's now a director of one of
- 45:14Speaker 4: their top initiatives, and I sent him a video. It
- 45:19Speaker 4: was an AI video, but the point was valid, and
- 45:22Speaker 4: the point was, why do we have avocados and coffee
- 45:26Speaker 4: that are growing in the United States on American soil
- 45:31Speaker 4: that we don't use but instead we turned to Mexico
- 45:34Speaker 4: and ask them for avocados. Is this a ploy from
- 45:37Speaker 4: the Narco state? I don't know the answer to that,
- 45:41Speaker 4: but I do know this. When you have all sorts
- 45:45Speaker 4: of things growing in Puerto Rico, which is the United States,
- 45:47Speaker 4: which is about forty minutes away from Florida, you know,
- 45:52Speaker 4: at least when I fly to Florida, it takes me
- 45:53Speaker 4: about two and a half hours, takes me about two
- 45:56Speaker 4: hours and fifty minutes or three hours and ten minutes
- 46:00Speaker 4: to get to San Juan, Puerto Rico. You've got avocados
- 46:05Speaker 4: in Puerto Rico, You've got all sorts of produce in
- 46:07Speaker 4: Puerto Rico. You've got coffee in Puerto Rico. Why don't
- 46:10Speaker 4: we have Puerto Rican avocados in every Walmart in the
- 46:14Speaker 4: forty eight contiguous states? Why do they come from Avocado?
- 46:19Speaker 4: Why do we import from South America? Is the answer?
- 46:21Speaker 4: It's cheaper. I don't think that's the answer. The answer
- 46:25Speaker 4: is something called the Jones Act. And we talked about
- 46:28Speaker 4: the Jones Act and how the Pacific Legal Foundation is
- 46:31Speaker 4: out there trying to rule the Jones Act unconstitutional because
- 46:35Speaker 4: it is. You tell me what sense it makes if
- 46:39Speaker 4: you want to get something from Hawaii to Nebraska, or
- 46:44Speaker 4: from Hawaii too, I don't know the Philippines, which is
- 46:46Speaker 4: pretty close to it. You've got a mail it to
- 46:49Speaker 4: California first, what Jones Act. It's got to get shipped
- 46:53Speaker 4: to somewhere in the US port and then back out
- 46:57Speaker 4: same thing that prohibits the produce coming in from puertoc
- 47:01Speaker 4: You add all this extra shipping, all this extra red tape,
- 47:04Speaker 4: and guess what, it becomes unaffordable. Can't do it. It's done
- 47:07Speaker 4: by design. These are administrative, political things designed to marginalize.
- 47:14Speaker 4: This is a reality and one that we can erase
- 47:17Speaker 4: through legislation, through action, through awareness, through discussion. But these
- 47:24Speaker 4: things don't happen overnight, which is why I've long proposed
- 47:27Speaker 4: for Puerto Rico to be a state period the end.
- 47:32Speaker 4: It would solve a lot of problems, and it would
- 47:33Speaker 4: be a massive economic boom for Puerto Rico, which is
- 47:39Speaker 4: in fact a massive economic boom for America. However, the
- 47:44Speaker 4: cowardice of so many in our party, Mitch McConnell chief
- 47:49Speaker 4: among them, to obfuscate their congressional role. When the people
- 47:54Speaker 4: of Puerto Rico have gone to vote time and again,
- 47:58Speaker 4: three different plebiscite votes, all above seventy five or eighty percent,
- 48:03Speaker 4: saying we want to be a state. The people have voted.
- 48:07Speaker 4: What is the problem. The problem is you've got spineless
- 48:11Speaker 4: Republicans like Mitch McConnell. Let's say, well, what's going to
- 48:14Speaker 4: help ourners. We're gonna get two Democrats senators. But I
- 48:18Speaker 4: would submit to you and say, the last Resident Commissioner
- 48:21Speaker 4: we had, which is the one congress person that's non
- 48:24Speaker 4: voting from Puerto Rico because they can't vote because they're
- 48:26Speaker 4: not a state, but they have representation, was a Trump Republican,
- 48:31Speaker 4: Jennifer Gonzalez Cologne. Guess what, Jennifer Gonzalez Cologne, a conservative
- 48:36Speaker 4: Trump Republican, is now the governor Puerto Rico statewide elected.
- 48:42Speaker 4: So now you tell me why we would come to
- 48:45Speaker 4: the conclusion that we're automatically going to get two left
- 48:48Speaker 4: wing senators when we have a Trump Republican literally elected
- 48:51Speaker 4: for the last number of terms as the Resident Commissioner
- 48:54Speaker 4: and literally sitting in the governor's mansion La Fort Teresa
- 48:57Speaker 4: in Puerto Rico. Yeah, I'll wait, it's not a valid
- 49:02Speaker 4: argument and operating by fear. Oh, because the Democrats might win.
- 49:08Speaker 4: That is not an answer to anything. You're not going
- 49:10Speaker 4: to hold an entire island and the American economy that
- 49:13Speaker 4: could be unleashed with so much that we could do
- 49:16Speaker 4: what they call what is it called near shoring, right,
- 49:20Speaker 4: because it's not offshoring. But you know, Pfizer was a
- 49:22Speaker 4: powerhouse in Puerto Rico. Healthcare, pharmaceuticals, these things were all
- 49:27Speaker 4: powerhouse industries in Puerto Rico. The Jones Act is destroying
- 49:30Speaker 4: a lot of this and it only helps the shipping companies. Now,
- 49:33Speaker 4: I'll ask you this, of any congressman that I've mentioned
- 49:36Speaker 4: since the top of this program, which one of them
- 49:39Speaker 4: has a direct tie is married to a Chinese shipping
- 49:43Speaker 4: company who is former secretary by the way, Elainen Chow.
- 49:47Speaker 4: That's right, Mitch McConnell. Mitch McConnell's wife secretary of Elaine Chow.
- 49:51Speaker 4: She comes from a family that deals with the transportation
- 49:56Speaker 4: and a big shipping company. Now does that have anything
- 49:59Speaker 4: to do with this that they're pro the Jones Act
- 50:03Speaker 4: and against Puerto Rico becoming a state and me eating
- 50:06Speaker 4: avocados for cheap from Puerto Rico. So I got to
- 50:09Speaker 4: get them from Mexico. I don't know. Is this their
- 50:12Speaker 4: way of saying, no, we need Mexican avocados, so that
- 50:15Speaker 4: maybe in those avocado containers we can also sneak in
- 50:17Speaker 4: a few other things because maybe some people, not her.
- 50:20Speaker 4: I'm not alleging it's her, but I am alleging that
- 50:22Speaker 4: there's likely politicians somewhere that are saying, you know what,
- 50:27Speaker 4: we will do our part to turn a blind eye,
- 50:29Speaker 4: wink wink, nod, nod and help the drug trade, because
- 50:33Speaker 4: the Narco states are powerful, and you're a fool if
- 50:36Speaker 4: you don't think they have American politicians that are going
- 50:39Speaker 4: to try and sell you some sort of demagoguery, some
- 50:42Speaker 4: sort of fear based response to why we don't use American.
- 50:45Speaker 13: Stuff, Oh, because we need it for Mechicano. Well you're
- 50:48Speaker 13: sure we need it from Mexico. Well, Puerto Ricans will
- 50:51Speaker 13: become two left wing shutters. Come on, Mitch McConnell and
- 50:54Speaker 13: anybody else buying that line. I'll tell you who didn't
- 50:57Speaker 13: buy that line, Marco Rubio. And I'll tell you who
- 51:00Speaker 13: is currently the Secretary of State, Marc Rubio. And it's
- 51:03Speaker 13: about time Mark Rubio get in the ear of El
- 51:06Speaker 13: Trumpito like he has in the past, and say, look,
- 51:08Speaker 13: we got to make moves on Puerto Rico. Not because
- 51:10Speaker 13: Valdeza is Puerto rican No, because it's good for the country.
- 51:15Speaker 13: It's good for our economy, and quite frankly, it's just
- 51:18Speaker 13: the right thing to do. More to comes straight ahead,
- 51:20Speaker 13: target Grandma, cryptocurrency and more.
- 51:23Speaker 4: Don't go anywhere. I'm rich Faldez.
- 51:26Speaker 1: This is America. This is America.
- 51:47Speaker 8: Bara in glas or primal nomerodos Bara richveld is e
- 51:53Speaker 8: s nos America.
- 51:55Speaker 2: Awa.
- 51:57Speaker 4: All right. I love that one. I know that always
- 51:59Speaker 4: ruffles feathers every now and again. Some people, I like
- 52:01Speaker 4: Baltez with all that Spanish stuff, to go back to
- 52:04Speaker 4: your country. Get out of here. It's America. Speak English, listen.
- 52:08Speaker 4: I always say the same thing. I always say, it's America.
- 52:10Speaker 4: Speak whatever language you want. And if you don't speak English,
- 52:13Speaker 4: you're probably gonna be screwed. Right. I have a whole
- 52:16Speaker 4: lot of things, but I encourage people to speak as
- 52:19Speaker 4: many languages as they can. I happen to speak three.
- 52:21Speaker 4: I'm trying to get some mastery on French. A fourth
- 52:25Speaker 4: you should mael Rishi La America. How's that not too bad, right,
- 52:29Speaker 4: I'm working on it anyway. I want to get into
- 52:32Speaker 4: this Target grandma situation because look, I think people are
- 52:36Speaker 4: free to speak whatever language they want. People are free
- 52:38Speaker 4: to wear whatever shirt they want. If you're employer, even
- 52:40Speaker 4: a lefty employer like Target says that you can wear
- 52:43Speaker 4: any red shirt you like to work, then you should
- 52:46Speaker 4: be able to wear any red shirt you like. But
- 52:49Speaker 4: this one beautiful grandma, nice lady. Everybody's saying she's America's
- 52:54Speaker 4: favorite grandma, and I believe it because she just was
- 52:57Speaker 4: a sweet woman that really embodied the love of Christ.
- 52:59Speaker 4: When she was being attacked, she was so much more
- 53:02Speaker 4: graceful and gracious than I would have been. And I
- 53:06Speaker 4: want you to hear what happened to her when this
- 53:08Speaker 4: lefty Karen woman named something Punts, which is spelled just
- 53:12Speaker 4: like Bonce de Leone, right like the city in Puerto
- 53:15Speaker 4: Rico Ponse. This woman MICHAELA Punts. She's a registered nurse,
- 53:21Speaker 4: apparently some sort of medical assistant according to her employer,
- 53:25Speaker 4: and she went on a tie rate on this lady,
- 53:28Speaker 4: and she videotaped the whole thing. So imagine you're in Target.
- 53:32Speaker 4: You see somebody with a shirt you don't like you
- 53:33Speaker 4: whip out your cell phone, you turn it on and
- 53:37Speaker 4: you get into some crazy check this out.
- 53:41Speaker 14: They let you wear that shirt shirt?
- 53:42Speaker 12: Yes?
- 53:45Speaker 4: Why are you taking to my picture?
- 53:46Speaker 14: Why are you wearing that shirt? You're working?
- 53:49Speaker 4: It's not red shirt. I can wear red, gitty red shirt. Now,
- 53:53Speaker 4: this sweet old woman is saying she can wear any
- 53:56Speaker 4: red shirt. She's got a little push cart in front
- 53:58Speaker 4: of her. She's hanging stuff up, putting it back on
- 54:00Speaker 4: the shelves. And this woman is harassing an old lady.
- 54:04Speaker 4: What a d bag? The woman, of course, not the
- 54:08Speaker 4: elderly woman. Go ahead, it's not a plane shirt.
- 54:13Speaker 14: It doesn't have to be so Charlie kirkshirt. Yes, oh yes,
- 54:16Speaker 14: I know. Are you fucking stupid?
- 54:19Speaker 7: No?
- 54:19Speaker 14: Why the fuck would you wear that? You're at work
- 54:21Speaker 14: at Target. That's not a Target shirt?
- 54:24Speaker 4: How dare you speak to somebody like this? Now? Listen,
- 54:28Speaker 4: I understand people could say what they want, but there's
- 54:30Speaker 4: consequences in life, and this woman faced them, and I'm
- 54:33Speaker 4: so happy that it went the way it did and
- 54:35Speaker 4: she handled this. I'm trying to learn from her, Honestly,
- 54:38Speaker 4: in situations like this, cooler heads don't always prevail. My
- 54:42Speaker 4: mouth gets the better of me all too often, and
- 54:47Speaker 4: I've kind of just worked it in. It's kind of
- 54:48Speaker 4: like shrinkage in business. You go, all right, so you
- 54:51Speaker 4: can make this much money, But I got that's not
- 54:53Speaker 4: gonna work for me that long. I'm probably gonna tell
- 54:55Speaker 4: somebody to go to hell and I'll earn less and
- 54:59Speaker 4: that'll cost me. But you know, sometimes you gotta do
- 55:00Speaker 4: what you gotta do. You gotta know who you are.
- 55:02Speaker 4: But the fruit of the spirit, right galicians five, we
- 55:05Speaker 4: gotta learn to embody that stuff through our holy spirit,
- 55:07Speaker 4: Praise God, Hallelilia. And I'm still working on that. But
- 55:10Speaker 4: this woman is a saint in my book. Go ahead,
- 55:13Speaker 4: it's not a plain rich shirt. You support a racist,
- 55:19Speaker 4: it's not racist.
- 55:20Speaker 14: You support a racists. Yes he is, Yes, he fucking is.
- 55:26Speaker 4: I'm sorry, but I'm not sat here and arguing you're not.
- 55:28Speaker 14: You should go get your manager. You should not be
- 55:30Speaker 14: allowed to wear the artwork unacceptable, unfucking acceptable.
- 55:35Speaker 1: Got your appear.
- 55:36Speaker 14: The opinion is he's a fucking racist and you support him. Yes,
- 55:39Speaker 14: you're a par and you shouldn't say you should not
- 55:42Speaker 14: be allowed to wear that. This is going to be
- 55:45Speaker 14: taken above your fucking head that's insane and sane.
- 55:52Speaker 2: And fucking safe.
- 55:58Speaker 4: She keeps going. But yet this this woman, Michaela Ponce,
- 56:01Speaker 4: continues going in so apparently she works out for a
- 56:04Speaker 4: place called end Low Health. And I'm not trying to
- 56:06Speaker 4: out her a doctor. This is media reports. People I
- 56:09Speaker 4: guess found out the Internet found out was disgusted by
- 56:11Speaker 4: what they saw. Why because this woman, miss Michaela Ponce,
- 56:15Speaker 4: put this video on her TikTok. Apparently she's some sort
- 56:19Speaker 4: of lefty influencer when she's not being a nurse, and
- 56:23Speaker 4: I guess, you know, trying to make some sort of
- 56:25Speaker 4: income or a bild of following for herself online. And
- 56:29Speaker 4: she was kind of bragging about what she'd done to
- 56:32Speaker 4: this woman, which I think is the most crazy part
- 56:34Speaker 4: of this. Truly disgusting. And America stepped up and called
- 56:38Speaker 4: her job and said, this lady's disgusting. You should know
- 56:41Speaker 4: what she's doing. You know what they've done to us
- 56:44Speaker 4: throughout the years. And the justice was poetic, I would say,
- 56:48Speaker 4: because now her job did a press conference and they
- 56:52Speaker 4: said that you know, we're not going to take any questions,
- 56:55Speaker 4: we're not going to violate any privacy, but we are
- 56:57Speaker 4: aware that an low health person was in something that
- 57:01Speaker 4: you know was untoward, and we are investigating that along
- 57:06Speaker 4: with the police. Apparently the police are investigating it because
- 57:09Speaker 4: of all the crazy stuff she says. And there's a
- 57:11Speaker 4: clip of some of the crazy stuff she puts on
- 57:13Speaker 4: her YouTube channel. This one is going to blow you away.
- 57:17Speaker 4: Number A dual moment with her.
- 57:18Speaker 5: But I was just with her this morning.
- 57:21Speaker 4: She's talking about her mom. She said she visited her
- 57:23Speaker 4: mom this morning and it's never a dull moment with
- 57:26Speaker 4: her mom. And she was with her mom this morning
- 57:28Speaker 4: and listened to the suggestion that her mom made that
- 57:30Speaker 4: triggered her.
- 57:31Speaker 14: And she told me what she wants to get my
- 57:35Speaker 14: teenage nephew for Christmas.
- 57:38Speaker 4: A damn Bible.
- 57:40Speaker 14: The hell she is He's a teenage boy living in
- 57:44Speaker 14: a mile military house with two lesbians.
- 57:46Speaker 4: Do you think he wants the damn Bible? Wow? So again,
- 57:51Speaker 4: this woman, Mikayla punts ponc she is a a just
- 57:57Speaker 4: a crazy and she he this crazy lady that I
- 58:02Speaker 4: just mentioned to you got into this thing with this woman.
- 58:07Speaker 4: And this woman was interviewed and she has a very
- 58:14Speaker 4: very great response. The woman's name is Genie and I
- 58:19Speaker 4: gotta tell you she's a real class act. She's taught
- 58:21Speaker 4: me a thing or two. Listen to this, Miss Jeanie Beeman,
- 58:24Speaker 4: aka America's Target Grandma. All right, there, you got the
- 58:27Speaker 4: first question. You may not have heard it. Well, let
- 58:29Speaker 4: me get the volume up. Please, can we put that
- 58:31Speaker 4: up a little bit? She asked her, This woman MICHAELA. Ponce,
- 58:34Speaker 4: who you know verbally assaulted you or whatever is, has
- 58:38Speaker 4: been fired by her employer. Do you think that was right?
- 58:42Speaker 4: And Miss Beeman says no, I didn't want her to
- 58:44Speaker 4: be fired. Go ahead to play the tape, or maybe
- 58:46Speaker 4: we could rerack it. Can we just rerack it with that?
- 58:48Speaker 4: That'd be nice if we could get that from the top.
- 58:53Speaker 4: All right, go ahead? What a class act this woman? Right?
- 58:56Speaker 4: What a class act? Good for her? Really embodying forgiveness,
- 59:03Speaker 4: embodying kindness, just being honest, missus Genie Beeman. So they've
- 59:07Speaker 4: raised a bunch of money. I think probably somewhere between
- 59:10Speaker 4: seventy five and one hundred thousand dollars in a guilt
- 59:13Speaker 4: GoFundMe account because why not? Right? I guess some people
- 59:17Speaker 4: thought maybe she was gonna need a lawyer, or she
- 59:19Speaker 4: was gonna lose her job. Apparently, Kudo's to target, and
- 59:21Speaker 4: that's rare for me to say, But Kudo's to target
- 59:24Speaker 4: for not firing the grandma, for wearing the Charlie kirkshirt,
- 59:28Speaker 4: for letting her wear the shirt, for you know, not
- 59:31Speaker 4: doing something against her, and actually just staying out of this.
- 59:37Speaker 4: I think that's fantastic. And honestly, kudos to end Low
- 59:41Speaker 4: Health for whether it was through pressure or not, sometimes
- 59:44Speaker 4: you got to do the right thing. And again, I'm
- 59:47Speaker 4: not saying it's right to fire people. I don't believe that.
- 59:50Speaker 4: I believe that this woman was a nurse and she
- 59:52Speaker 4: dealt with the elderly, and this is how she was
- 59:55Speaker 4: dealing with the elderly, and this is something that should
- 59:57Speaker 4: never be acceptable, right. I mean, if you're gonna beat
- 1:00:00Speaker 4: an old lady like that, and I mean verbally right,
- 1:00:02Speaker 4: if you're gonna treat someone that way, and that's the
- 1:00:05Speaker 4: same vulnerable population that you deal with, you have no
- 1:00:08Speaker 4: business being near those people. That's my opinion. Anyway, more
- 1:00:13Speaker 4: to come straight ahead, we're gonna wrap it up. I
- 1:00:15Speaker 4: want to talk about cryptocurrency a little bit that might
- 1:00:18Speaker 4: spill over into Friday's show, but anyway, I'll be right back.
- 1:00:23Speaker 1: This is America. This is America.
- 1:00:34Speaker 2: He's making podcasting great again. This is America with Rich Valdez.
- 1:00:40Speaker 4: All right, and he goes, welcome back, Rich Valdez, keeping
- 1:00:43Speaker 4: your company, And I guess I'm committing you a do
- 1:00:48Speaker 4: as well. This Friday, Thursday, Friday is tomorrow. We're gonna
- 1:00:53Speaker 4: pick the weekend on We're gonna do some cryptocurrency conversation
- 1:00:56Speaker 4: or a couple of clips. I want to complain for
- 1:00:59Speaker 4: you about crypto really just kind of set the stage
- 1:01:01Speaker 4: for a larger conversation because I think it's something that
- 1:01:04Speaker 4: we need to talk about that kind of goes, I
- 1:01:07Speaker 4: don't know, underrated or under the radar. We don't hear
- 1:01:10Speaker 4: from it about it as much as we should, and
- 1:01:14Speaker 4: it's to me, it's the game changer here right now.
- 1:01:17Speaker 4: I'm not saying everybody's going to make a fortune with crypto.
- 1:01:19Speaker 4: You might, and many that are in from the early
- 1:01:25Speaker 4: inception of it will, But I like to look at
- 1:01:28Speaker 4: certain trends, right, and not everybody's right right, So there's
- 1:01:32Speaker 4: no guarantee in anything. But when you look at what's
- 1:01:35Speaker 4: going on and you say, the other day, I saw
- 1:01:37Speaker 4: this video and I might have played it. I don't
- 1:01:38Speaker 4: remember if I did or not. I hear so much audio,
- 1:01:41Speaker 4: but it was Eric Trump and Eric Trump was talking
- 1:01:44Speaker 4: about Actually I think I sent it to my family
- 1:01:47Speaker 4: group chat. It was Eric Trump saying how he wasn't
- 1:01:49Speaker 4: the big believer in bitcoin, but now they've just invested
- 1:01:54Speaker 4: in a bitcoin mining operation in Texas. Now we just
- 1:02:02Speaker 4: heard it was Wednesday or Thursday that President Trump's company,
- 1:02:07Speaker 4: Truth Media Technology Group, merged with a nuclear power company
- 1:02:16Speaker 4: because they need to have a partner on board to
- 1:02:19Speaker 4: power all of the energy that they need for all
- 1:02:22Speaker 4: of this bitcoin mining and all of the fintech stuff
- 1:02:25Speaker 4: they're working on, as well as all the social media
- 1:02:27Speaker 4: revolution that is happening over at truth Social. By the way,
- 1:02:31Speaker 4: you can follow me on truth Social at Rich Faldas,
- 1:02:34Speaker 4: and we're going to be once we launch the streaming
- 1:02:37Speaker 4: version of this show, the video streaming version of the show,
- 1:02:40Speaker 4: you'll be able to see that on truth Social as well.
- 1:02:43Speaker 4: But I say all of these things because I think
- 1:02:46Speaker 4: there's a very big conversation here and a lot of
- 1:02:49Speaker 4: people look at bitcoin like like something they can't wrap
- 1:02:57Speaker 4: their head around. And I was one of those people
- 1:02:59Speaker 4: some years ago and I've learned to understand it a
- 1:03:01Speaker 4: little bit better. I don't fully understand it. Some people
- 1:03:03Speaker 4: are well ahead of me, like Eric Trump, like Don Junior,
- 1:03:07Speaker 4: like some of my siblings, that they're all on board.
- 1:03:12Speaker 4: They're all in, and they're like, man, there's no way
- 1:03:15Speaker 4: to go. But the future, we're not going to need
- 1:03:17Speaker 4: banks anymore. We're not going to need the traditional financial
- 1:03:21Speaker 4: systems that we're used to really won't be necessary because
- 1:03:26Speaker 4: of the technology that exists now. I guess I'm going
- 1:03:30Speaker 4: to liken it to a I. Right, So, for some
- 1:03:34Speaker 4: of you calling into this show, you are realizing that
- 1:03:39Speaker 4: if you're able to call in during the live production
- 1:03:41Speaker 4: of this show in real time, you'll get somebody in
- 1:03:44Speaker 4: the studio that'll answer the phone and put you through
- 1:03:47Speaker 4: as a caller. If not, you're going to get an
- 1:03:51Speaker 4: automated attendant that's going to ask you, you know what
- 1:03:53Speaker 4: city and state you're calling from, and what you want
- 1:03:56Speaker 4: to say to me, and it will record that and
- 1:03:58Speaker 4: we can play those recordings, which is something that we've
- 1:04:01Speaker 4: never had before. Right, it was either you got to
- 1:04:04Speaker 4: call into the show live or you didn't get to
- 1:04:06Speaker 4: join the late night National Town whole conversation, and I
- 1:04:09Speaker 4: think that's something that I think is fantastic about technology. Right,
- 1:04:15Speaker 4: it's not necessarily AI, but I'm sure AI powers some
- 1:04:18Speaker 4: of it, but that was a facility we didn't have.
- 1:04:21Speaker 4: Now I'm sure it's only a matter of time before
- 1:04:25Speaker 4: we'll have some AI that will be able to replace
- 1:04:28Speaker 4: the function of certain people, not all people, but some people,
- 1:04:33Speaker 4: and make life easier for certain people. For example, I
- 1:04:36Speaker 4: remember years ago, if you wanted to have a phone number, right,
- 1:04:40Speaker 4: let's just say our phone number eight seven seven VALDESK one,
- 1:04:44Speaker 4: and you wanted to have music on hold, you had
- 1:04:47Speaker 4: to hire a music on hold company. You had to
- 1:04:49Speaker 4: buy a host separate machine that connected to your phone
- 1:04:52Speaker 4: system where if a customer called, you would put them
- 1:04:56Speaker 4: on hold. They would hear music on hold. If you
- 1:04:58Speaker 4: wanted the music to say something like, you know, in
- 1:05:00Speaker 4: addition to the music that's playing, they would say, you know,
- 1:05:04Speaker 4: like some sort of ad like hey, you're listening to
- 1:05:05Speaker 4: the Rich Valdes show. Thank you for whatever. For those
- 1:05:08Speaker 4: of you that are interested in the Rich Valdes liberty
- 1:05:10Speaker 4: loving Latino Amigo hat press one for those of you
- 1:05:13Speaker 4: that want the Rich Valdez K and I had a
- 1:05:16Speaker 4: signature T shirt, press two right, and things like that
- 1:05:19Speaker 4: to sell merch while you're on hold. And that might
- 1:05:21Speaker 4: be something we do in the future, but right now.
- 1:05:25Speaker 4: Back then, when I had a business in the early
- 1:05:27Speaker 4: two thousands, this was very expensive endeavor. You had to
- 1:05:30Speaker 4: hire a voice actor to cut the audio, to record
- 1:05:33Speaker 4: the recording for you. You had to get the technology for that.
- 1:05:37Speaker 4: Now it's free in certain places, and if you pay
- 1:05:41Speaker 4: for it as a service, it's a couple of bucks
- 1:05:44Speaker 4: a month where you can have, you know, some sort
- 1:05:46Speaker 4: of automated attendance, say X, Y and z. I mean,
- 1:05:48Speaker 4: the technology is unreal. So I bring that up to
- 1:05:52Speaker 4: say that bitcoin is going to facilitate a lot of
- 1:05:54Speaker 4: that same ease of use. Where we needed to go
- 1:05:57Speaker 4: to the bank before noon on Saturdays or before five
- 1:06:00Speaker 4: a clock on most days, and we had to fill
- 1:06:01Speaker 4: out the deposit slip and do that, and if I
- 1:06:04Speaker 4: needed a loan against my four oh one k, I
- 1:06:06Speaker 4: had to do this week's long process. A lot of
- 1:06:09Speaker 4: that's going out the window if you have crypto. If
- 1:06:12Speaker 4: you own some bitcoin and you let's say you've done
- 1:06:14Speaker 4: fifty thousand dollars in bitcoin or five thousand dollars or
- 1:06:17Speaker 4: fifty dollars whatever it is, right. I mean, a bitcoin
- 1:06:20Speaker 4: is like ninety grand or one hundred grand, depending on
- 1:06:22Speaker 4: the day you buy it. So if you have one,
- 1:06:25Speaker 4: you have one. But if you're only owning a fraction
- 1:06:27Speaker 4: of one and it goes up and down, whatever, you
- 1:06:30Speaker 4: add that to your portfolio of other crypto coins. Now
- 1:06:34Speaker 4: you have this portfolio of this money you can't see,
- 1:06:38Speaker 4: which in effect is similar to your cash dollars now, right,
- 1:06:42Speaker 4: because that's also money you can't see. You think in
- 1:06:45Speaker 4: your mind, I can go to the bank and take
- 1:06:46Speaker 4: it out, but in many ways they don't want you
- 1:06:48Speaker 4: to do that and it might cause a run on
- 1:06:51Speaker 4: the bank, so they won't even let you. In some cases,
- 1:06:54Speaker 4: I tried to take out like four thousand dollars not
- 1:06:56Speaker 4: too long ago, and they were like, I'm sorry, we
- 1:06:58Speaker 4: need to we need a manager. I was like, for
- 1:07:00Speaker 4: four thousand, but not that that's you know, anything to sneeze at.
- 1:07:03Speaker 4: But it's mine, you know. I keep it here just
- 1:07:05Speaker 4: for the sake of interest and the facility of using
- 1:07:08Speaker 4: a bank. Well, anyway, I bring all that up to
- 1:07:09Speaker 4: say people that have crypto they can take loans against
- 1:07:15Speaker 4: their own crypto right from their own crypto wallet. That's
- 1:07:18Speaker 4: the direction that we're headed. We don't need the bank.
- 1:07:21Speaker 4: You can pay yourself the interest because other people will
- 1:07:24Speaker 4: take that note and say, oh, yeah, you're good for
- 1:07:26Speaker 4: it because you have X, Y and z. But you're
- 1:07:28Speaker 4: talking about in seconds not having to deal with a
- 1:07:31Speaker 4: banker and somebody filling out a form and cross your
- 1:07:34Speaker 4: fingers and hope you're lucky that stuff's happening now. And
- 1:07:39Speaker 4: that's a fascinating thing. So I saw this clip from
- 1:07:44Speaker 4: that seventy show I think it's called and it was
- 1:07:48Speaker 4: very funny and it described this whole thing to me.
- 1:07:52Speaker 4: Listen to this.
- 1:07:53Speaker 2: Hearing, will you be accepting bitcoin?
- 1:07:56Speaker 6: Well, I don't know what that is, but it's got
- 1:07:57Speaker 6: coin in it, and my cash register doesn't.
- 1:08:00Speaker 11: So yeah, what's bitcoin is a new online currency that's
- 1:08:07Speaker 11: been developed. It's just like actual money, except you can't
- 1:08:10Speaker 11: see it, hold it, or spend it on anything.
- 1:08:14Speaker 2: Sounds like the kind of money I'm familiar with.
- 1:08:18Speaker 9: If it's not tangible, how do you know it's not
- 1:08:21Speaker 9: just going to vanish tomorrow?
- 1:08:22Speaker 15: Really, you're dating penny and you're going to poke at
- 1:08:25Speaker 15: something that could vanish tomorrow.
- 1:08:28Speaker 2: I'd niceeing bitcoin.
- 1:08:29Speaker 5: I just came into a little extra money when my
- 1:08:31Speaker 5: dad raised my allowance.
- 1:08:35Speaker 15: You don't have to buy bitcoin, you can mine it,
- 1:08:38Speaker 15: mine it like mining gold sort of. There's a limited amount,
- 1:08:42Speaker 15: and we find it not by tunneling into the earth,
- 1:08:44Speaker 15: but by using a computer to solve complex mathematical problems.
- 1:08:48Speaker 2: So let me get this straight.
- 1:08:49Speaker 11: We have to write an elaborate program in order to
- 1:08:51Speaker 11: find a fake coin that we can't spend on anything.
- 1:08:55Speaker 2: Yes, that sounds fun.
- 1:08:59Speaker 4: So again they're having some fun at the expense of bitcoin.
- 1:09:03Speaker 4: But yet everybody that I know that has bitcoin has
- 1:09:06Speaker 4: made a ton of money on it. So again, this
- 1:09:11Speaker 4: is part of I guess, a longer segment on something.
- 1:09:14Speaker 4: But ultimately, I think there is a conversation that has
- 1:09:20Speaker 4: to be had around the idea that we will likely
- 1:09:25Speaker 4: not need to do things the way we've done them
- 1:09:29Speaker 4: for a long time. And I'll leave you with this thought.
- 1:09:32Speaker 16: Listen to this well, bankers about what's going on in
- 1:09:34Speaker 16: the global economy, I would say the biggest question from
- 1:09:38Speaker 16: central banks is what is the role of tokenization and digitization?
- 1:09:42Speaker 16: How quickly should they think about digitizing their own currency?
- 1:09:46Speaker 16: What does that mean? For the role of the dollar.
- 1:09:48Speaker 16: If every currency digitizes and we have a you know,
- 1:09:52Speaker 16: what does that mean for bank payments? What does that
- 1:09:54Speaker 16: mean for the for the payment companies like MasterCard and Visa?
- 1:09:59Speaker 16: All these are question right now. I will make you know,
- 1:10:03Speaker 16: I think we spend so much time talking about a AI.
- 1:10:06Speaker 16: We're not spending enough time talking about how quickly we're
- 1:10:09Speaker 16: going to tokenize every financial assets and the opportunity we're
- 1:10:13Speaker 16: going to have to have a digital wallet and moving
- 1:10:17Speaker 16: you know, ETFs and other things through a digital wallet.
- 1:10:20Speaker 16: And I think that's going to happen worldwide very rapidly,
- 1:10:23Speaker 16: and I think most countries are ill prepared for that.
- 1:10:27Speaker 16: And I underappreciate how technology is changing that not unlike
- 1:10:32Speaker 16: how technology is changing AI and other things. It will
- 1:10:36Speaker 16: be changing the technology around the plumbing of finance.
- 1:10:42Speaker 4: That's one hundred percent true in my opinion. And I
- 1:10:45Speaker 4: think everything he said, whether I agree with everything else
- 1:10:47Speaker 4: he said or not, everything he said in that statement
- 1:10:49Speaker 4: that I played for you is true. The system's going
- 1:10:52Speaker 4: to change. Quantum computing, lots of things are going to
- 1:10:55Speaker 4: kick in in the next you know, one to five years,
- 1:10:57Speaker 4: i'd say, And the United States is going to be
- 1:11:00Speaker 4: leading the charge on that thanks to El Trompito and
- 1:11:02Speaker 4: the Genius Act and the stable coin that he's created here.
- 1:11:05Speaker 4: And yet I find so many people that I talk to,
- 1:11:09Speaker 4: like he said, underappreciating this and ill prepared for it.
- 1:11:12Speaker 4: And I don't want anybody who listens to this show
- 1:11:14Speaker 4: to get caught with their pants down, at least unless
- 1:11:17Speaker 4: you want to get caught with your pants down. That's
- 1:11:18Speaker 4: up to you. I don't judge, but look into this stuff,
- 1:11:23Speaker 4: learn more about it. And I've got some more clips
- 1:11:26Speaker 4: on this. I could have spent probably thirty forty minutes
- 1:11:28Speaker 4: on this. I've got a lot, So I'm going to
- 1:11:30Speaker 4: carry that over to the Friday show and make sure
- 1:11:32Speaker 4: you're tuned in for that. Make sure that you're subscribing
- 1:11:35Speaker 4: to this program This is America Rich Valdez and sharing
- 1:11:39Speaker 4: it with people. That's one of the beauties of having
- 1:11:43Speaker 4: an electronic medium is that you can grab the link
- 1:11:45Speaker 4: for this, send them to iHeartRadio or Spotify or Apple podcasts,
- 1:11:50Speaker 4: and people could listen whenever they feel like. And now
- 1:11:52Speaker 4: they could call in any time they like and speak
- 1:11:56Speaker 4: it of call in. Somebody called in that I didn't
- 1:11:58Speaker 4: want to end without playing their call was it was
- 1:12:01Speaker 4: a very kind call. All right, let's go to Ryan Canton, Ohio.
- 1:12:05Speaker 17: Go right ahead, mister Valdez. I'm so mad that they
- 1:12:10Speaker 17: took you off America at night. I know they didn't
- 1:12:13Speaker 17: just take you off. You couldn't come to get terms
- 1:12:15Speaker 17: on your contract. Man. Somehow they need to get you
- 1:12:19Speaker 17: back on there. Love listening to your show, so I was.
- 1:12:23Speaker 17: I'm a server in Can't Ohio. I called in only
- 1:12:26Speaker 17: one time to talk about, you know, the tax cuts
- 1:12:30Speaker 17: from President Trump for servers, and how thankful I was.
- 1:12:33Speaker 13: I wanted to.
- 1:12:34Speaker 17: Mention a couple of other things, like, you know, I
- 1:12:35Speaker 17: live in the Pro Football Hall of Fame city and
- 1:12:38Speaker 17: the Pro Football Hall of Fame was just coming up,
- 1:12:40Speaker 17: so we were gonna have a great weekend for a
- 1:12:42Speaker 17: couple of other things I wanted to mention. But I
- 1:12:44Speaker 17: know you don't have a whole lot of time on
- 1:12:46Speaker 17: the show, or you didn't then, so I didn't get
- 1:12:51Speaker 17: to say a whole lot, but I was glad for
- 1:12:53Speaker 17: the opportunity. Thank you. I wanted to say this. I'm
- 1:12:56Speaker 17: listening to your podcast now, never listened to for because
- 1:13:00Speaker 17: I always listened to you on the radio and anyway,
- 1:13:03Speaker 17: the main reason I'm calling is because I was listening
- 1:13:06Speaker 17: to the December seventeenth podcast and you gave the phone
- 1:13:10Speaker 17: number one eight seven seven Valdez. The number is maybe
- 1:13:14Speaker 17: to help some of the other listeners. It's one eight
- 1:13:16Speaker 17: seven seven eight two five three three seven one. So
- 1:13:21Speaker 17: it's one eight seven seven Valdez one. I just thought
- 1:13:25Speaker 17: maybe maybe i'd throw that out there. That's what worked
- 1:13:29Speaker 17: for me. But listening to your podcast, maybe one of
- 1:13:32Speaker 17: these times I'll get to join join the town hall conversation.
- 1:13:35Speaker 4: Well, thank you, Ryan, I appreciate it. Listen. I'm glad
- 1:13:38Speaker 4: you're listening to the show. I'm glad you're sharing the show.
- 1:13:40Speaker 4: I'm glad you're enjoying the show. We do this show
- 1:13:42Speaker 4: for you. I always tell people you are literally insane.
- 1:13:45Speaker 4: If you do a talk radio show, or even a
- 1:13:48Speaker 4: TV show for that matter, and you don't have a
- 1:13:50Speaker 4: viewer or a listener, you're literally just talking to yourself,
- 1:13:54Speaker 4: especially in radio, right because at least in the big
- 1:13:56Speaker 4: TV studio, like there's stuff going on, you're usually not alone,
- 1:14:00Speaker 4: but oftentimes in radio it's you. It's you in a
- 1:14:02Speaker 4: soundproof room. Imagine that a room with foam Walls right,
- 1:14:07Speaker 4: you're literally like a crazy person. So thank you. I
- 1:14:11Speaker 4: appreciate it. I call in as often as you want,
- 1:14:15Speaker 4: anytime you want, twenty four hours a day now with
- 1:14:17Speaker 4: our new technology, and I appreciate it. Ryan and Canton, Ohio,
- 1:14:21Speaker 4: thank you, sir.
- 1:14:21Speaker 17: All right, Thanks Ma, and.
- 1:14:23Speaker 4: For everybody else, I say, look, I start approxima, take care,
- 1:14:26Speaker 4: good night, and God bless you. America. You got to
- 1:14:28Speaker 4: stand for something, because if you don't stand for anything,
- 1:14:30Speaker 4: you'll fall for anything. And the only thing necessary for
- 1:14:35Speaker 4: evil to triumph is for good people like you to
- 1:14:38Speaker 4: do nothing. So make sure you do something. That's all
- 1:14:41Speaker 4: I've got. I'm Rich Valdez, and this is America.
- 1:14:45Speaker 2: This is America.
