- 0:00Every generation thinks it's too modern, too advanced, too
- 0:04enlightened to fall into the traps warned about in scripture.
- 0:09But then you look at the headlines, not fiction, not
- 0:12conspiracy, but mainstream news, and you realise we're building
- 0:17the very system the Bible said would one day control every
- 0:21aspect of human life. Today I'm going to talk about 3
- 0:25stories, three pieces of tech news that when placed side by
- 0:30side, they reveal the shape of something bigger, something
- 0:34prophetic. My name is Jay Fallon and this
- 0:38is the Slippery Slope podcast. Get my straight So at a recent
- 0:52Tesla shareholder meeting, Elon Musk pitched what he called a
- 0:58more humane alternative to prisons.
- 1:00Now, I did talk about this earlier in the year when it did
- 1:03come first come out. So his idea was to replace
- 1:07incarceration with Optimus, humanoid robots that follow
- 1:13convicted criminals around. So this is his words, OK, He
- 1:16said. You don't have to put people in
- 1:18prisons. If somebody's committed a crime,
- 1:21you now get a free optimist and it's just going to follow you
- 1:25around and stop you from doing crime.
- 1:28A robot assigned to you, monitoring you, tracking you,
- 1:33intervening if you step out of line.
- 1:35This isn't rehabilitation, this isn't justice.
- 1:39This is constant surveillance. A walking, talking, AI powered
- 1:44parole officer that never sleeps, never blinks and never
- 1:48leaves your side. And Musk frames it as freedom,
- 1:52but freedom that comes with the robot shadowing your every move.
- 1:58Is that freedom at all? So the next story we have to
- 2:02talk about is the Waymo robo taxi that called the police.
- 2:07So in San Mateo in California, a Waymo Robo taxi carrying 215
- 2:13year olds who were reportedly firing Orbeez water beads and
- 2:18drinking alcohol inside this taxi, the autonomous vehicle
- 2:23pulled itself over and called the police.
- 2:26The car, not the kids, made the decision.
- 2:30It used its internal cameras and microphones.
- 2:33It assessed the situation. It contacted law enforcement.
- 2:38The police praised Waymo's quick actions, but also warned about
- 2:42the privacy implications and the risks of autonomous vehicles
- 2:46acting as mobile surveillance units.
- 2:50If your car can report it, if your car can decide you're a
- 2:54threat, if your car can call the police on you, then your car is
- 3:00no longer your car, it's a deputised agent of the state.
- 3:05So the third story. This is one that should make
- 3:10every listener sit up straight. China has begun deploying
- 3:14humanoid robot police officers on public streets.
- 3:18These robots patrol traffic. They scan crowds.
- 3:22They identify individuals. They enforce regulations and
- 3:26feed data directly into state surveillance systems.
- 3:31This isn't a trial. This isn't a concept.
- 3:34This is happening right now. A nation already known for its
- 3:38social credit system is now adding humanoid, robot and
- 3:43forces to the mix. We are watching the fusion of
- 3:47surveillance, artificial intelligence, policing, and
- 3:51state power, all wrapped in the language of efficiency and
- 3:56public safety. Let's connect the dots.
- 4:01This is a dystopia that we're sleepwalking into.
- 4:06If you put all these stories together, robots monitoring
- 4:09individuals, cars reporting behaviour, AI policing public
- 4:14spaces, cameras and microphones everywhere, safety used as
- 4:18justification for surveillance. This is not science fiction.
- 4:22This is not 2050. This is 2026.
- 4:26We are building a world where you can't hide, you can't escape
- 4:31monitoring, you can't buy, sell, travel or live without being
- 4:37tracked. And we're doing it willingly
- 4:40because it's convenient, because it's efficient, because it's
- 4:44safe. But convenience has always been
- 4:48the gateway to control. Now let's look at what the Bible
- 4:52has to say about this. In Daniel chapter 2, the prophet
- 4:56described a statue representing successive world empires, the
- 5:00final stage, the feet and toes. It is a divided Kingdom, partly
- 5:06strong like iron and partly fragile like clay.
- 5:10The 10 toes represents 10 rulers, A coalition that is
- 5:15unstable, maybe fractured, and yet globally influential.
- 5:21This final Kingdom is not fully united.
- 5:23It is powerful but brutal, strong but compromised.
- 5:28A perfect description of a world held together not by shared
- 5:32values, but by technology, surveillance and enforced
- 5:36compliance. Daniel 7 expands the vision.
- 5:40You've got 10 horns, 10 kings rising out of the fourth beast,
- 5:45historically understood as Rome, a final ruler who subdues 3, and
- 5:51a system that wages war against God's people.
- 5:54Daniel 11 continues the theme. A complex geopolitical landscape
- 6:00culminating in a final oppressive ruler.
- 6:04Now John. John picks up Daniel's imagery
- 6:09in Revelation 17. He talks about the 10 Horns are
- 6:1410 kings who receive authority for one hour with the beast.
- 6:19These kings rise from the same prophetic lineage, give their
- 6:24power to a central figure, form a unified but temporary global
- 6:30authority. This is the final world system,
- 6:34the last human empire before Christ's return.
- 6:38In Revelation 13 it gives us this chilling detail, and I've
- 6:43spoken about this numerous times on the podcast.
- 6:47Revelation 13 says that no one could buy or sell unless he had
- 6:52the mark, the mark of the beast. This is economic control, social
- 6:58control, behavioural control, a system where your ability to
- 7:03participate in society depends on your obedience.
- 7:09Now let's look at the headlines again.
- 7:12Robots following you, cars reporting you, AI policing the
- 7:17streets, digital systems determining your freedom.
- 7:22We are not at Revelation 13 yet, but we are building the
- 7:26infrastructure that makes Revelation 13 possible.
- 7:31The technology is here, the mindset is here, the
- 7:34justification is here. All that's missing is the global
- 7:38crisis that activates it. So let's look at the slippery
- 7:44slope analysis. Step one, safety and
- 7:48convenience. We're just trying to keep people
- 7:52safe. That's the rhetoric we always
- 7:54hear. Step 2, normalisation.
- 7:57Everyone uses these systems now, it's just how society works, so
- 8:02you should just go along with it.
- 8:03Step 3 is enforcement. If you don't comply, you lose
- 8:07access. We've heard this before, it came
- 8:11about in 2019-2020. Step 4 is total control.
- 8:17You cannot buy or sell unless this is how freedom erodes.
- 8:23Not through dramatic tyranny, but through small, reasonable
- 8:27steps that slowly reshape society.
- 8:32We must stay awake. We must stay discerning.
- 8:35We must refuse to trade freedom for convenience.
- 8:39Because once the system is built, once the surveillance is
- 8:43normal, and once the robots are everywhere, it won't matter
- 8:48whether you agree or disagree. The system will simply be and
- 8:54you will be inside it. So the most important thing is
- 8:59that our hope, your hope, our faith lies in the Lord Jesus
- 9:06Christ. That's the most important thing
- 9:10to remember. Now, as always, this is just my
- 9:14opinion. Please let me know what you
- 9:16think. I'm Jake Fallon and thanks for
- 9:19listening to the Slippery Slope Podcast.
- 9:22They just feel the.
